Youtube daily report Jan 23 2019

Now we can talk openly.

What did you think about me before meeting me for the first time?

- Well, a bit cocky, you didn't ever greet me at races. + I don't think so.

Now that we know each other, you seem a very nice guy to me.

That's what I wanted to hear.

- And what about me? Did you know me? + I didn't know you at all.

That's why I didn't greet you, because I didn't know who you were.

Now I do know you a little bit.

Now, hear, we did really enjoy the Tour de France, didn't we?

Yup, after Rojas crashed, we started sharing rooms at hotels in the race.

Afterwards, you decided to crash and I had to look after you for some time.

That's your best memory of me during the Tour, then.

When you cleaned my wounds at the shower...

Yup, that's right. Also putting some bandages on you...

Do you remember when 'Cocohuahua' came to the race? (NOTE: A BIRD / HEN USED HERE TO MEAN A RIDER IS CRACKING)

I do remember a bit. I was...

I do remember. I was into the break...

... and then "Cocoguagua" came to visit you.

Yup. I was a bit too enthusiastic and "Cocoguagua" ended up coming for me.

You were having some laughs because of me in the main bunch, uh?

I think it paid a visit to all of us, to be honest.

It also came searching for me a couple of times during the Tour.

Also at the Croix-de-Fer...

And how did I behave at the hotel room? Do I look like quirky or just strange?

Not at all - you were so nice at the room, you don't create many problems...

+ I do everything right. - That's correct!

If I had to put up with you at home, it wouldn't be a problem.

You're able to keep everything into order, not like me, because I'm so messy with clothes and stuff.

You didn't really pay much attention to me. You were playing videogames all the time with the phone.

+ Playing videogames and watching movies. - And talking on the phone. Playing games. All the time.

Do you remember when we went to sign on at a TDF start with our bikes swapped?

Of course I wasn't able to get down to the pedals.

To me it seemed as though I was on a toy bike.

We had a good laugh and so did the Astana staff, when they looked at you on such a big bike!

They were calling it 'Andamio' ('scaffold').

However, to be frank, we didn't really spend that much time together in the Tour.

Not really, because during the race, I was either at the front or at the back, while you were fighting for the GC.

Later on, you spent more time at Jesús' (Hoyos, team doctor) room than ours, healing your wounds, because you had an inclination towards crashing all the time.

And you were playing with the phone all the time, or at the WC.

We were lucky to find each other at breakfast.

Because we didn't really have dinner at the same time.

Because you were half an hour late, every single day.

No! I was first at the table.

- Nah, I meant at the broom wagon. + Ah, that's right.

At least, you were ahead of me at the finish for a couple of days.

Yup, two or three I think.

You didn't arrive at the front or at the back, never. Always in the middle.

The final TT? I arrived for dinner. I had dinner during the race. Lights went out for me.

SOLER (almost inaudible): 'You've recorded that, right?'

Well, so now we've got to remain another year together, right?

We will have moments of joy, some other worse, pretty much everything.

And I'll be here to help you out.

For the moment, you've got to invite me to a cup of coffee.

You told me you wanted to have a talk, but no beverages...

SOLER: 'I do the clapperboard. Where? Action!'

I've been to many forums, so it's the first time I could come to the Iwater

Forum. So it's a kind of a discovery and I am I think, for me I'd

still need a bit of time to understand what it's about, but what I really like

is that you have put together some these industrial commercial part

together with some, let's say, conceptual, some thinking intellectual part that was

linked with the water economics forum. And I think it's good to put them

together because one can influence the other very much

so I think in that sense it's been very productive and I've been more involved

in the water economics forum. But I believe that the forum is strength to

really bring out, maybe it's an extension of what you have here trying to look at

the water sector. And like I was saying, water is not anymore

only a sector: water is a factor. It's a factor of development but now it's

become something else. It's become a vector, a vector of change because you

can find water in many many aspects of agriculture, recreational transport,

industry, energie... so is a real vector of change.

50 Best Explores Peru - The Andes - Duration: 6:09.

Wherever you go, wherever you travel, it always leaves you with something

relevant to how you work, how you live your life,

how things have worked for thousands of years.

This place is incredible.

It's great to have you here, man.

It's fantastic to be here.

The guys have a lot of expectations.

I hope we can guide them to what they expect and more.

For me, Peru is a blessed country geographically,

in terms of minerals, ecosystems,

in the richness of the sea with the two different currents,

and then the people. All the cultures have been going on

in this territory for so long…

the intercultural knowledge and how we put it all together to have what Peru is now.

It's a mixture of great cultures with a solid background in a blessed place.

The perfect place to develop as a human being, as a chef

and as a discoverer, a traveller, for me is Peru. It's a giant treasure.

I brought you to this market because here we can see the culture of this city.

This kind of tuber only grows at over 3,500 metres.

This year they're going to use this land, then

let them rest, then use the other one, then they rotate it

so the more they rest, the more fertile they are.

They don't use chemicals or fertilisers, just patience and time and a lot of faith.

In an area that you would think is very inhospitable,

they use the local land for survival. It's amazing.

So this is our first collection of Cuzco foods.

Welcome to Mil, my name is Luís.

These are native potatoes. There are 4,000 varieties identified in Peru.

This box showcases some ingredients that we've been using for a long time

with Virgilio and the staff.

There's an Andean grain called quinoa,

there's muña, a type of mint, mashwa, a type of corn

– there are 55 varieties in Peru –

and this is an algae called cushuro, a colony of bacteria

that prospers in lakes at altitude, around the shore, during rainy season.

What is interesting about cushuro is not flavour,

maybe texture, but it has more nutrients than quinoa, and more protein than some meats.

For me, to design the menu for the train was a great experience.

The menu was designed with inspiration from

the produce of Cuzco, Puno and Arequipa,

not just the produce but also the celebrations and the cultural part of them, the traditions.

There are little details around the menu that

try to put in context what the train is.

The view and the experience of being up there is amazing.

The Uros Island and then Taquile for lunch is amazing.

Having lunch in Taquile is great because that island is untouched, pretty much.

The people don't use too much technology.

Peru is perfect for me. I love travelling,

I love discovering new things, meeting people, seeing culture, traditions.

Every trip I do within Peru, I get new feelings, new ideas, new visions.

This beautiful country never stops surprising me.

It's been a great experience.

I hope the guys enjoyed it. I enjoyed it a lot.

I showed them a little bit of my country, my culture.

At the start I thought 'when am I going to do that?'

You don't have the time at the restaurant.

The opportunity to have a really dedicated, intense period

to see and experience as much as you can

is an incredible opportunity.

Warriors' Stephen Curry slips on dunk attempt, shoots airball in embarrassing sequence, then gets ro - Duration: 2:23.

Klay Thompson may have had a sensational Martin Luther King Day performance, but Stephen Curry did not

As the Golden State Warriors blew out the Los Angeles Lakers in front of a national TV audience, 130-111, Thompson set records

He started the game 10-for-10 from 3-point range -- a new NBA record -- and exited late in the third quarter at 17-of-20 from the field for a total of 44 points

However, while Thompson shined -- Curry crumbled. Not only did the two-time MVP have a miserable performance as he went 3-for-12 from the field and 2-of-10 from beyond the arc, but he also had an embarrassing sequence that nearly left him injured

Not only does Curry slip on this dunk attempt -- he also airballs a 3-pointer on the same possession

But heck, knowing his teammates, we can also expect a lot of teasing at the expense of the "Baby-faced Assassin" in the coming days

Come comunica il gatto con i FEROMONI e cos'è il FLEHEMEN? - Duration: 16:56.

hello Micigatti and MiceGatte! i have you ever seen your cat do this

grimace?

this is not particularly good for me but it is typical of many animals and of

this grimace and pheromones will speak to us in this seminar, Dr. Elena

Borrione who is a veterinary surgeon behaviorist then to all of you

good vision today we will talk about pheromones: the title

pheromones the invisible messengers of the cats, so I hope with this

presentation to be able to explain In the meantime, what are they, what is the purpose of the

pheromones and why they are defined as messengers. So let's start with what

these are pheromones: pheromones are of the molecules that have the peculiarity

to transmit chemical signals that I am able to change the

physiology and / or the behavior of a individual, who is obviously capable of

perceive them, because pheromones are species specific: those of the cat are of the

cat, those of the dog are of the dog, and via talking.

Pheromones represent a form of very ancient communication, so yes

talk about communication when we talk about pheromones, a communication

I said very old, used both in the plant world and in

the animal, then insects, fish, reptiles, mammals and among these

above all the carnivores have a greater number of facilities able to

produce these pheromones. What does it happen then as a type of communication?

it happens that if the bear Pow goes to steal the honey

in the hive in a moment it is found surrounded by bees ... why does this happen?

because the first bees they meet the bear pow easily recognize him

as a problem, as an enemy and they emit those that are pheromones of

alert, alert, alerting in time zero, it is a very message

immediate, it passes very quickly, here all the calls are recalled

other bees and in a moment the poor little bear is surrounded by one

cloud of insects and this happens all'ormetto but also happens to us if there

we approach a beehive, then a useful message useful in this case

as a defense. We pay attention because the pheromones

odoriferous molecules are not molines, we can not human beings perceive it

the smell, not they transmit messages of smell but they are

just just chemical messages. So they are so special that they come

perceived in a very precise part of the brain that is a part where it is

the emotions originate and take shape: the limbic system and here I would do one

little parenthesis: I talk about emotions, so I can also tell you that ours

cats, just like our dogs, exactly like our animals, they have

the ability to feel emotions. The we know today today because they are the same

structures that has the human being, the same structures that generate the

Our emotions are also ours animals, then

we also try our basic ones animals. Pheromones can be

transmitted through the air, through water, through the soil and through

solid supports, but I'll tell you a make that are also issued on

solid supports? we actually do that we live with our cats there

we see just for them peculiarities, because they lay them down

on home objects and then we'll see how. Before going over a little one

parenthesis on what is the flehemen: in flehemen is a facial expression

as he would say From "with that face a little so that expression a little like that "and it is

a typical and characteristic expression not only for our cats but for many

animals: so we have reproduced some,

we have the horse, but the equids in it general, we have the tapir, up there, the

tiger, giraffe, lion and we said is an expression that is produced by

contraction of some facial muscles, and the animals

they manifest this grimace. Why is this grimace produced? why

this type of gestures facilitates the passage of pheromones and causes

arrive just at that point of the brain that we have seen before, that is the

limbic system. And this is instead the face that assumes our cat when

takes this expression,

this flehemen and I think there is often happened to see the cat

sniff something and then stop one moment with that face with the

half-open mouth: in that case he was not smelling molecules

odoriferous but is perceiving i pheromones. Pheromones

deposited are numerous, so much so that they have not yet been

identified all. Cats have some glands that produce pheromones: they are

distributed in different parts of the body, those that are most significant

they are placed at the level of the cheeks, of the at the level of the legs and the area

perianale and we will see some today Of these. The facial pheromones are

certainly some pheromones that cover one some importance,

so much so that on the market are available some formulations of these that are

been reproduced, are synthesized. Obviously we have the portion f2 that is

that linked to sexual behavior, and therefore the one that is emitted before

of a urinary marking. Yesterday we also faced the

speech of communication then we had seen how in reality there is everything

a series of aspects that must be kept present when a cat communicates, then

we have one pheromonal communication, but we have

also a visual communication, for which the behavior of the door marking

with it also a whole sequence that is given by a posture that the cat assumes,

that is characteristic, but the sequence of marking starts right with the issue

of pheromones then when the cat is rubs on a particular structure and

then by doing "provocative" in general we read, turn around and then mark it

structure itself, we read it as a spite "He also has me

watched! He waited for him to look at him and then he has done "Actually all is part of one

sequence then the message must arrive, it must arrive clear, there is

need to mark it a little, excuse the word game, underline it

the importance. The portion f3 is that which the cat emits on objects and then

in the house we have the cat that rubs on the legs of the chairs, on the legs of the

tables, on the sofa and finally the portion f4 which is the one that is deposited on

living beings members of the family. They can be conspecific, therefore

other cats, or if we talk about extended family

we can also be with us or with others pets of course. Then we have

a component that there is a little less nice that the one that is deposited

at the interdigital level and therefore they are i

interdigital pheromones, are those that the cat emits when it is

do your nails on our beloved sofa, here too the importance of posture that

the cat adopts the moment when emits this type of marking

pheromonal: it is a posture that has a meaning, typically marking and

so this type of posture does sport to the cat to find where he prefers

lay them on vertical surfaces, find gods very high supports,

the cat takes a lot of postures stretched, tends to raise the legs in

so that there is also a message very clear visual and then leave gods

signs, leave marks that are well visible. In doing this they are issued

precisely these pheromones and also the marking that can also be

not emitted only vertically but also in horizontal, but also in that case

we would have a posture a little bit emphasized. Attention to resist

to the temptation to clean up all signs that our cat leaves at home

why this creates a certain destabilization

in the cat itself. For regarding facial markings,

although we can have the sofa in skin that over time assumes

some unpleasant colors, or the table leg that remains one

little marked, let's try not clean up, especially using gods

very strong detergents, what is it the height from the cat down,

and also with regard to the markings visual then scratches that aesthetically

they can give us a little bit of trouble, let's try to get a little meeting

to the cat, that is, we do not change the sofa every time the cat gets there

nails, rather let's get some resistant structures like scratching posts from

place in places near where usually the cat spoils the furniture, in

so that there are solutions alternatives. If the cat ruins us

in fact, the sofa did not change covered every week,

this because at the time when the cat does not find any more references

in the environment the tendency will be that of emit more, and always in presence

more numerous, this to try to find a little bit of emotional stability.

At the moment when the cat decides to choose certain surfaces where

issue the markings obviously choose those in which he manages to sink

the nails and where it can leave its mark, the legs of the metal table do not ... And it is

also the reason why sometimes we we find alternative solutions that

according to us they are valid, on the market there they are so many types of scratching posts, but not

it means that just because it is a scratching post this can please the cat: the

scratching posts must be something valid, ie a structure in which the

nails stick well, leave the sign, because otherwise there is not

satisfaction of, and above all must be a stable structure, those

scratches that we when we go into store we take and already all arrive

rickety at home, honestly .... we try the first time the

cat then clings, feels dancing and yes it is directed directly to the sofa, the sofa is

certainly much more stable, so we must also provide some

alternatives that are a little valid, sure if you have those chairs

stuffed or imitation leather ... or sacrifice because then

that's okay, even so, let's face it, they can also be accepted

as they are .... or they must of sow the points around the house.

Ddipende, then the moment in which in reality

we cut the nails to the cat so we can smooth it is obviously a temporary remedy,

it does not mean that the cat will not emit a marking and among other things then can

occur a paradoxical effect, ie the cat has a blunt nail, approaches

to the very dear home object, he does to issue the marking, issue one

marking that however is not as effective and so what the cat does is look for

to be more incisive, I do more frequently, so in

reality if we think about it we get the opposite effect.

I do not want to say that you do not have to cut nails to cats. To the cat

that comes out and therefore has possibility to access the environment

external generally we do not recommend cut your nails because it can not

to climb. The house cats is also true that they still do business, they go up

on our shelves, so they do not have need to climb, so maybe not

they even emit with all this incisive visual markings,

because they do not feel the need, in bottom alive in my house, where already there are

my places, where I have already put another type of markings such as facial ones,

so I'm going to blunt my nails and I have no problem. Or cats

that after they do this kind of activities, which undergo this type of

attention, of toilet, begin to become serial scratchers,

it depends on cats. Surely NO deungulation, that is

the removal of nails, practice that now it is forbidden by law from us in

Italy, but that if we go abroad we can still find, therefore

we have both the component that environmental, do not let me name names, but

did you understand what you are talking about, and both the component of marking

that in the softer situations, where there is need for help can

be valid as a solution, that is, let's give a message to us, a message that

the cat was not able to emit, a bit as if we care a little, say the

I TRIED NIOD ETHYLATED L-ASCORBIC ACID 30% ELAN // Vitamin C serum review - Duration: 9:16.

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel! In today's video I'm going to be reviewing some vitamin C. I've got the NIOD Ethylated L-Ascorbic Acid 30% Network

So I've been using this product

Solidly I would say for the last month

I've been really kind of focused on it and letting it get to work in my skin. So NIOD have a way of

Carrying out functions that certain skincare ingredients do but in a different way like they've got the non acid acid

Precursor to works like an acid on the skin, but without some of the drawbacks and that is kind of what this product is

So much. It's like the next generation

of

ascorbic acid or l-ascorbic acid

And so it's been ethylated which means it's gone through another process and the results of that are

The claims that they make is that it is less sensitive

It works. It's more effective within the skin so you get better results

So I was quite excited to try this and see how it works on my skin

They say that you can kind of expect to see results after a few nights and to be honest

I didn't see any results after a few nights. I think that it took a lot longer

For me, but I feel like generally vitamin C doesn't

Show results very quickly

Sometimes it does if you use a really strong one it will make your skin feel a little bit brighter and stuff

But I feel like to to really get the results

From a vitamin C product. You do have to give it you have to give it time before it can show those kind of brightening

Firm results. I think I don't really suffer from pigmentation so much but that being said I have got a I

Don't know if you can see it like a small patch around here

Which is from like a spot that I had on my neck, and it kind of left like a bit of pigmentation

That was from last year. I feel like it's had I can see it here still

I feel like it's had maybe a tiny effect, but not

really anything that is

noticeable or worth speaking about I think that again with pigmentation it's a long process if you want to kind of try and

lighten that and remove that from the skin, so I haven't seen with any kind of

improvements in that that I can talk about but that being said with continued use I have noticed that my

Skin does look brighter. It looks very even. I feel like the skin tone at the moment in general

It does look very I feel like my skin looks very clear. I've been getting some positive

Comments and compliments on that. So that's a good thing and I do feel like my skin is nice

and firm

That is the main benefit that I come to expect personally from a vitamin C is that I find it if it's a good product

with continued use it will make my

Skin, like feel nice and feel and look nice and firm

And this certainly does that there are some kind of there's one major

Drawback with this and that is that they say that you can only use it at night

I love to use my vitamin C during the day. So for me to

Only use it at night means that I'm cutting out

retinol and it means that I'm cutting out acid because I don't want to mix it with either of those products and I don't think

That it recommends that you do

I think that the reason why they say this is because it's at 30% the ordinary have a

More affordable option. I think that's about 18 pounds. I'm gonna double check the price on this

I haven't got the price in pounds, but it's 40 euros

So, I'm sure that that works are about between 35 and 40 pounds

But I will put links to this. I'm down below for the US and for Europe as well

So yes, it's more expensive but you do get the more concentrated amount. So the ordinary do a

15% and they recommend that you can use that day or night whereas this is just night which I find really annoying

I love to use my vitamin C during the day, but I really wanted to

Test it out. So I just stuck by the instructions only

I've only been using it and I haven't used it in the day and I just feel like with the percentage maybe it will cause

Potential sensitivity in the skin and that's why I don't

Recommend it for long-term use I just don't want to vitamin C. I

Can only use at night so I would probably

Just use it during the day and give that a go and see if I've got any problems with that and if I haven't

Then I'll just use it during the day

But in terms of comparing it to other vitamin C's I did a review on the Sunday Riley

Vitamin C serum the CEO which I'll link up above

I feel like this is just as good as that one. The pricing is around the same

So it's not like this one is more expensive

but this kind of

Ultra-modern form of vitamin C. I feel like it's just as good as the derivative that Sunday Riley uses in the CEO

I don't feel like it's any better I was

wondering if this would have

More miraculous results or something like that and I haven't noticed any kind of better results that being said

It's definitely a really really good vitamin C

Irritation is minimal. Obviously. I've just been using it a night that does help

But yes

It's just I've sometimes I can feel

The slightest bit of sensitivity the next morning on my skin, but it's so minor

but you can feel it but it's it's not even though it's normally when I just wake up and I sometimes get that when I'm

using retinol or acid or all sorts of things but in the grand scheme of things, I feel like their irritation is

There really isn't any that's really really good. So that's definitely a bonus to it

And I feel like it does have a nice brightening effect on my skin. But as far as it goes as a

different more pure

Effective form of vitamin C. I don't really

See what the difference is if I'm completely honest. It's definitely not as

sticky, I will say that it has got a

Slightly thick consistency that does sometimes make it a tiny bit difficult to skin ly spread across the face

I feel like you have to use

But slightly generous amount to be able to get it like evenly across your skin and your neck

So what I like to do is I we mix it with a little bit of hyaluronic acid

but this works well with both oil and

Hydra and like a water base oil or water. Basically, it works. Well with both they both help you break down into the skin

whereas if you're using kind of regular l-ascorbic acid

then that works better if you mix it with a water-based product than it does if you mix it with a

Oil-based product and that's if you're using the powder on its own rather than kind of already formulated

product but generally yeah that will break down into the skin easier with a water base, but this works well with both

So what I do personally is just mix it with a little bit of hyaluronic acid

Because what that does is that will just help activate it within the skin and then it will also just help you

Spread across your face a little bit easier

So I'm going to continue using this it does last a really long time. I've paid only kind of used a

Fraction of the bottle and I've been using I would say a generous amount

you could probably get away with using it less I would say but I feel like it goes a long way so its

Cost per use it's quite a good value for money. It's definitely a very good

vitamin C product if you aren't worried about

Kind of creating a regime where you've got all different actives going on then

This could be really good for you. And then you just use it at night and you're absolutely fine

And then it slots into your routine

Very easily but if like me

you've got all different things going on and little bit more of a

Complicated routine where you have to make space for different actives, then it's not really ideal in my opinion

I would be interested to try the version from the ordinary which you can use during the day

Obviously it's milder, but it's going to show like take longer to show results. But if you're using something

long-term

Then you could always like use a bottle of this really get the effects going really kind of

Get the skin nice and bright and even and then once those results, you know

You can only get you can only go so far

so once you've kind of got that initial result, then you could then go on to the ordinary one perhaps

And then you get kind of maintain those results with a milder product, but that's it

I think that I've covered everything that you could

Want to know about the product but as always if you've got any questions

Then leave them in the comments below we can carry on the conversation there

Don't forget to give this video a thumbs up, and I will catch you in the next one. Bye

Sora (Kingdom Hearts!) Nendoroid Unboxing & Review! |Eeveeemmy| - Duration: 13:40.

Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel Eeveeemmy my name is Eevee.

I'm sunburned. So I'm gonna keep my face off today's video but today we are going to be

Opening up the Sora Kingdom Hearts Nendoroid which I'm super excited about.

I don't know if you know, but I love me some Kingdom Hearts

I'm excited because this has a Paopu Fruit in it, and we can be together forever, but we just have a nice

Look at the box in all of its glory. Like look at this cutie. Look at this absolute sweetheart.

I love Sora. Sora is gorgeous.

Sora is the chosen one. Sora is amazing.

Alright, so this little cutie here, is sealed at the top with a little sticker and then same deal at the bottom.

I'm just gonna cut the top one open and then we can take everything out and have a look at it.

I'm so excited for this one. I love Kingdom Hearts so much.

Kingdom Hearts and Pokemon are my favourite video game series'.

I'm pretty excited that this Nendoroid was made and that Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming out very soon.

I also like that, they went with a popular thing and then made the Nightmare Before Christmas Halloweentown Keyblade as well.

So in the box there is a little manual of all the parts and then

you can take this out I guess if you want a background for Nendoroid photos.

Which is pretty cool, so the blue background you can take out of the box, but we're not gonna worry about that.

But it's a little brochure here.

So there's a little brochure that tells you what all the parts are, how to put the head on and stuff like that.

Then just outlines all the pieces and what you can do with them I guess. That's pretty cute.

So it's in Japanese on one side and English on the other side.

It's pretty basic, but I don't think you need everything written. I like that he doesn't have a face in this picture.

Which is pretty funny and then it tells you how to do like stands. I always have a big problem with the stands.

I can never get them to work.

All right, so in the back of this section here

we do have the stand and some more hand parts, so we'll open that up in a second.

But this is this is what we care about.

Woo, oh no, the keyblades came out right.

Both the keyblade and the Halloweentown one both popped out.

Just little small friends. That's pretty cute.

The paint job already looks really nice on these, cause you know when stuff is small and nitty-gritty like this

It can be a 50/50.

Another thing that I was really amused about when I saw this release was that it has like Sora's

sleeping kind of face and in,

You know the promotional stuff and on the box has him in the the sleeping position.

But there's like a photo of him on the stand and it looks like he's falling like in Kingdom Hearts 1.

Which I thought that was pretty cool. And then we have some other cool parts. Let's have a look at each piece

Here's the sleeping face. That's a really, really cute part.

There is no like blushies on there. It's pretty serious.

I've found that this one's pretty serious. Even though all Nendoroids are kind of like chibi style.

This is really, really cute and really, really sweet. Feels really nice.

This is nicely painted and made.

I'm really really impressed with - Nendoroid quality seems to have come up like a step again,

which is really nice, even though Nendoroids are known for being pretty good.

Those eyes are so striking. This one's kind of like a battle *grrr* face.

Like I am serious. I am here to save the Disney Universe

Don't you dare mess with my Island?

Kind of face.

Then of course we've got the little - this is so tiny. Like look at that. Little dangly bit.

This is so precious, I love, I love I really went a Toy Story Sora Nendoroid.

That's what I want more than anything.

Little Jack Skellington themed Halloweentown Pumpkin King

little Keyblade. This one's really cute. I love the little pumpkin on it.

All right, so there's this little thing here,

and this is the magic coming out of the Keyblade to go into the keyhole.

So there's like a stick that you put this on. You put this on there

to go into the keyhole if we can get it out. There's a lot of tape holding these little pieces in.

It's supposed to be like *pshhew*

From the keyblade to go into there which is pretty - Aww this all clicks on. Oh my goodness.

Okay, that is sick. That is so sick. Can you see it? Yes, how sick is that?

So you can have him two hand holding the keyblade and being like

Be gone lock! Lock the keyhole. And then of course we have the little Paopu Fruit

which is what my tattoo is. If you have not noticed so far there you go.

I love these so much.

I love the symbolism of them and that's why it was my first tattoo.

Then we have the the best boy himself.

He's quite weighted.

For a Nendoroid he's not bad at all. And yes, I'm also wearing a Kingdom Hearts themed Jersey.

It's from Living Dead.

Oh my goodness!

I'm in love!

Oh no, oh no.

Look at that precious.

We'll take his head off so we can get the plastic out because they usually put plastic between parts of the hair.

His head is surprisingly sharp. We need to wiggle his little bod bod off.

Come on, I hate doing this.

Plastic off the neck and then next we need to pull his head apart then we can get the hair one out.

I really don't want to do it because his hair is actually really sharp.

There goes his face, alright, so I've taken the plastic off and then we can put his face back in.

Back on, back in.

Look at that. Sweet, easy.

Beautiful best boy. So we have the little head and then we can put it on the body.

He's also got plastic in his arms. This one is very protected, which I like that because he wasn't cheap.

He's really jointed. Look at that.

*doot doot doot doot doot doot doot*

Not bad for a Nendoroid.

Wow, there's like lots of positions. You can put him in. This one's really good. I love all the joints in this one.

Yes, put your head back on. I feel bad you being headless. There we go.

Excellent, so cute.

Looking at him, like I was saying the joints are really nice on this one and the hair is quite actually pointy.

Like a little bit sharp on some of them

This is not a kid's toy.

So I wouldn't recommend letting a child touch this, but the paint job is

some of the best I've seen on a Nendoroid.

I only have like two or three other Nendoroids

But whenever I go to Japan, especially when I got to like Akihabara and stuff

I do look around in all of the secondhand cases to have a look at them. Also in the boxes at places like AmiAmi.

I'm pretty happy with this one. This one's really nice quality. I also like that it seems sturdy.

This is a bad idea because it's on my hand, but like-

he stands. I don't have to like put him on the stand to get him to stand.

There's a lot of weight in his mid area

so if you want him to do like other stuff you probably will have to put him on the stand which

we will try out but I am really bad at the stand. We'll see there's also the other hands in here

And the hands in here seem to be for holding the Keyblade.

These hands are just kind of here and I think I just noticed something I do think mines defective.

What might be wrong?

This one has a thumb facing forwards

This one has a thumb facing backwards.

They gave me two of the same hand on my Nendoroid.

Oh no, I will contact Nendoroid and be like, "hey,".

I'll contact AmiAmi first cause that's who I bought it through and be like,

"Hey, can you guys order it or should I get Nendoroid to do it?"

That's a little bit concerning. I'm hoping that these

other two hands are right. They're both looking like I got two of the same hands on this one too.

Oh no, there's nothing I can do about that because it's literally-

Oh, that's funny. Oh no.

I'm hoping that these hands are okay, but they're looking like the same hand. Oh, yeah the thumbs are on the same side

Aside from the hand problem that looks cool. The little hands on there. So we can just put that on him.

What? Oh no. Let's put these other hands on.

So this hand is looking good on there. That's the right hand for that hand.

I'm actually wondering are these basic hands meant to be the other side and then this both for the same side?

But in the pictures it shows him being

like holding two Keybaldes I think. In some of the promotional stuff, but I don't know how that would work because

it's for that hand and why are there two plain hands that look exactly the same for this side and

two holding hands for that side. Something's gone wrong. Something must have gone wrong.

That looks super cool. I appreciate this. I'm glad that this works out because there's no way I wouldn't have

Sora holding a Keyblade. Even without the keyhole and stuff that looks so cool.

I kind of want to have his angry face while doing that. I feel like Mrs Potato Head

being like, "I packed your angry eyes, just in case.".

That is one of my favourite Toy Story moments. The head ones are always the hardest ones to get in.

Like look at that. The face plate actually looks less angry on Sora than it does off Sora, if that makes sense.

I think Sora's soft hair helps it out. But let's try and do a stand. I'm not good with them.

We'll see how it works

but you're supposed to put one end in the base and then they have a dot in the back that you put them in.

Then it's supposed to help you be able to put them in better positions.

Cause not all Nendoroids can stand on their own. But say you wanna have them in a walking position or anything.

Or if you just want them floating like this is. I think that's pretty cool because you could have it in a

jumping or flying - there he goes.

These stands can be very finicky and you can also get more parts and better ones for these, but look at that.

Because of the weighting on it, there's nothing stopping the back

I wish they had a better thing in the back to be able to hold them upright.

If they were to do something like that.

If your Keychain falls out just pop it back in. Mine went back in fine.

It's better when you have it flat down on a surface

but you can have them doing funny things with their feet and stuff and they'll stay. Like so.

Yeah, that was my little unboxing of this little Sora Nendoroid. As far as what I think about it

I think it's absolutely gorgeous. The paint job is done really well. The hand situation is a little bit weird,

but like I said, I'll contact them and see what can be done. But, I'm pretty happy with the Nendoroid otherwise.

Because at least I have a right hand and a left hand with the holding ones. So thats good.

But yeah, I'm gonna go now and put more stuff on my sunburn. My nose is burnt!

Darn sunlight, darn summer!

See you all soon guys. Bye!

On Shyamalan And Legacy - Duration: 8:47.

Eh gad, Brain, the highly anticipated sequel to both Unbreakable and Split is finally

here, to really, at best mixed reviews.

To be clear, Glass has nowhere near as much well done tension as Split, or Unbreakable, and nowhere near

as much character development as Unbreakable, or Split.

Or really that much Glass, but I think why Shyamalan made Glass is more interesting.

I'm not going to spoil anything, and I'm not going to give even a real summary – all

I'll say is Unbreakable is film from M Night Shyamalan from 2000.

It stars Bruce Willis And Samuel L Jackson, essentially as they discover that Willis'

character has superhuman ability.

In Split, from 2016, we follow James McAvoy's character as he portrays a number of different personalities

trapped in the same body.

To the surprise of many people who first saw Split, but no one now that Glass is out, Split

turned out to be part of the same universe as Unbreakable, and Glass essentially casts

together the hero of Unbreakable against the antihero of Split – even though it's called

Glass, and he's neither of those things.

M Night Shyamalan, when he gives interviews, he usually gives quite shallow interviews.

Interviewer: What inspired the [split personality character] 23 or 24 personalities? And can you name them all?

Shyamalan: Oh! That's such a good question! Oh my god.

When he's asked a question, he's quite obtuse.

Interviewer: Parts of the public thought you had become a joke.

Shyamalan: Maybe, I just don't know who doesn't do this journey.

You're describing the journey of an artist.

Shyamalan: You're saying that specifically?

Interviewer (Offscreen): Yes, I'm just curious-

Shyamalan: I had a question in my folder. The folder that had all the notes.

I'm trying to think of saying it without saying anything.

Erm...

Handsome bald man: And I don't blame him, that isn't a criticism,

he can play it however he wants to play it.

However it does mean that I'm really unsure there's any artistic reason to Glass coming

into existence almost twenty years after the only other film where that character appeared

for more than thirty seconds.

Many Shyamalan fans argue that Unbreakable is the director's finest film, and although

I'm not a fan of everything he's done, I agree.

Unbreakable is restrained.

It has a lot of build up.

It's careful in its choices.

And I think one of the reasons it's successful, is that it has a pretty definitive ending.

It certainly comes across that way, and I'd bet it was written that way.

I think that Unbreakable will always be a film I can enjoy, but Split and Glass, far

more so Glass, do change Unbreakable.

Just as the Star Wars prequels inform the way people watch the original trilogy, by

virtue of filling us in on the backstories that were sort of more interesting when we

didn't know them, Glass too informs Unbreakable.

In terms of analysis, perhaps Unbreakable should be separately. But then perhaps so should any film.

That's a lot easier to say than do. I don't think many people will be able to look at Unbreakable and not think about Glass.

Unbreakable ended with a post-script, but it did end.

I'm sure lots of people wanted to know what happened to the characters – but here's

the temptation film-makers must resist.

And then in the sequel, Ferris Bueller gets his realtor liscence, moves to the southside, gets fat, goes bald,

and realises he's a figmnent of that thin kid's imagination.

But don't let this change the first film for you.

My point is that by giving us more, Shyamalan has changed what many consider to be at very

least, classic Shyamalan, not by changing it Lucas style, but adding a lot of crap that

didn't need adding, Lucas style.

The conclusion of Glass really hammers in that this film is about something different to Unbreakable/

It feels as though the script was for different characters, and also heavy handed andd rushed.

From the outside, it looks as though Glass is trying to capitalise on the warm reception

to Split, a lot of which I think is down to James Macavoy, but at the same time go right

back to high Shyamalan and capitalise on the good will of a fanbase.

Shyamalan is senstive and anxious – the lack of acclaim sincerely hurts him.

Shyamalan: If the universe wants me to fail three more times to teach me to a ... even higher level of the characters,

I, I believe in that.

See there, he talks of failure – but just previously he declared the film a success.

Interviewer: Don't call it a comeback, it's not a comeback.

Shyamalan: Whatever happes with Glass, it's great and good.

Artistically, Shyamalan says, Glass is what he wanted. So where's the failure?

The numbers, box office and tomatoey, matter to him.

I think writing films with sequels in mind, can work.

Unbreakable wasn't that.

If there was more story to tell, why wait nineteen years?

There's no narrative reason for that.

Logistically, Shyamalan could have made this film at any time since 2000 (release of Unbreakable).

It kind of looks like Samuel L Jackson, who's

meant to a dangerous mastermind, has just been hanging out waiting for the film to start.

Spraying his hair everyday, just in case.

It doesn't help that Glass really isn't a standalone film, and I think would really struggle if Unbreakable had never existed.

But if Unbreakable had never existed, Glass would never have been made.

Why did Shyamalan make Glass? Because of issues of ego, and he wanted to stay relevant.

I think Shyamalan often finds himself between wanting to be an artist, and wanting to be

Steven Spielberg – not Spielberg the director, but Spielberg the golden child. Spielberg the success.

But what do I know? I've never met him. This is just what I observed. I could be totally wrong.

But I don't think so.

Shyamalan: *Laughs. In 18 years I'm gonna make a trilogy! No!

When this came out (he touches a bound copy of the script to Unbreakable), it had a kind of...

wonky reception. I felt hurt. I felt like the reaction was 'what is this? Is this a comic book?'

'It's not scary!' That was the main thing.

If Shyamalan made Glass because he's still hurt about the reception Unbreakable got then

that's not a great reason to make a film, but also, I can't wait for Lady Out Of The

Water, and sequels to everything then.

You can't make a film because your other film didn't get enough claps – that's squandering

your position.

Maybe the jokes on me, maybe the fact that a film called Glass is mostly about James

MacAvoy - maybe it's being really meta

and I'm just missing something.

Honestly, I think M Night Shyamalan should take some time, and just do what he wants to do.

As I've said before, I think he has a lot of talent. I think he's good at building tension and characters.

It's really frustrating to see him do this.

One of the reasons Unbreakable is good - one of the reasons anything is good, on a fundamental level

is that I think Shyamalan didn't make it for himself but he didn't make it for critics nor crowds. He was true to himself in what he did.

I think if he's being honest about it, he didn't make Glass in the same way. It's much more about reputation and

adulation. And I'm sure he doesn't want that to be the case.

But I think it is.

Bye.

Shyamalan: It's probably the only time I would do this.

Everyone has been asking me, especially people who've seen the movie (Glass), 'is there more?'

I'm going to say no, for right now.

Arsenal have done an Arsenal in their negotiations with Barca for Denis Suarez [Mundo] - Duration: 2:41.

Arsenal are running out of time to make some much-needed loan signings in January

Just over a week remains of the winter transfer window and rumours suggest the Gunners are chasing deals for Barcelona's Denis Suarez and Manchester United's Eric Bailly

In terms of Bailly - which was always a long shot - United have turned down Arsenal's approach because they don't want to assist a Premier League rival

Pretty understandable, it has to be said.  As for Suarez, who was reportedly keen to join Arsenal, Emery stated earlier this week that the club are "working" to get the deal done

"The club is working [on] a situation [that] can help us," Arsenal's manager told the press

"I cannot speak about individual players.  "But I know we are working on different possibilities that can help us for these four months for our competition

I believe they work. I know It's a difficult window for the transfer market.  "If one player comes in to help us, I'm happy

The club is doing that. I'm going to wait."  Arsenal's intention was to sign Suarez on loan and allow Aaron Ramsey to complete his move to Juventus in January, rather than the summer

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, talks between Arsenal and Barcelona have broken down and Suarez is set to stay

The report explains that Arsenal and Barcelona couldn't agree on a mandatory purchase clause that would see Suarez join permanently in the summer

Barca were prepared to make it an option rather than an obligation in case Suarez signed a new deal with them, but now the Spaniard has said he wants to stay until the end of the season

Sorry Arsenal fans, it doesn't look like it's happening.  Emery will now have to look elsewhere to bolster his attacking options, but with so few players available on loan in January he may struggle

You Know You're Living With a FRENCH MAN When... What it's REALLY like to date a French man! - Duration: 7:27.

Salut YouTube and welcome back to the Not Even French Channel! Today's video is

all about the signs that you receive that you are indeed living with a

Frenchman. It may be true for French women as well I'm not sure I haven't

lived with one - let me know down below if it's the case for you. But certainly for French

men you'll be able to say mm-hmm to most of these things. As you guys can imagine

I'm in touch with quite a few expat woman who are indeed dating or married

to Frenchmen and there's nothing funnier than when we get together or we have a

conversation about these random things that we've noticed about living with

these Frenchmen of ours so without further ado let's get into the video so

I can share them with you! Okay so the first sign that you are indeed living

with a Frenchman is that he hates to waste anything. It's being frugal not

just with money but with electricity with paper with food everything and this

is obviously a positive thing I'm not I'm not saying that that's a negative

thing but if you accidentally leave a light on in the bathroom you'll hear

about it. You'll notice that he will use his scarves his socks his undies

whatever it is until they're basically unwearable socks will have holes in them

Like if it's still wearable you're not ready to throw it out just yet and when

it comes to electricity you'd rather sit there indoors with a scarf then turn up

the heater or you'd rather sit there topless and sweating in the summer

rather than turning on the fan or the air conditioning unit it's just like

they've got this innate ability to be very resourceful and very careful with things.

The second sign that you're living with the Frenchman is that you

find crumbs everywhere like breadcrumb trails everywhere. In case you guys

didn't know the French in general don't use bread plates so when you're

cutting up the baguette and you're having some baguette beside your meal

it'll just be sitting there beside you on the table and so what this means

because a Frenchman has to have baguette basically at every single meal that

there's crumbs everywhere because they cut the baguette in the

morning you know you know cutting up the baguette and making their tartine and I

come out to the table and that's just covered in bread crumbs like you would

think that we just had a bunch of hamsters or something invade the house

but no no it was just a Frenchman! And speaking of bread eating by the way this

is a cheeky bonus for you you know you're living with a Frenchman when they

need to eat baguette with every meal including pizza so like having a piece

of bread with pizza completely okay and even (and I've seen this before)

with a burger I'm not joking! The next thing that you may be living with a

Frenchman or a French person actually is that you'll open the fridge and it will

smell like someone died in that fridge a very long time ago because the cheese

that they like to consume absolutely stinks. Another way that you know that

you are indeed living with a Frenchman is that it's not okay to be barefoot if

you're walking around barefoot you're gonna catch a cold that's it.

It's like what are you doing you're gonna catch a cold you know it's not okay

and I find in just a light jumper and some joggers or some track pants and I'm

walking around like oh I'm a bit cold it's like "evidemment, tu es nue!"

you're naked! like if you're not wearing socks slippers like the big

jumper and everything you could be considered to be naked by a Frenchman

and that's not okay you've got to always make sure that you're very well covered

and very warmly dressed so that you don't catch a cold.

Another sign that you're living with a Frenchman is that he drinks his coffee

or his hot chocolate not from a mug but from a bowl like this

You also know that you're living with a Frenchman when you open your fridge and

you realize that half of it is stocked with jam from either his mum or his

grandma. Making homemade jam amongst French women is a very delicious thing

that still exists very happily for us and whenever you go home you very often

get sent away with pots of jam or marmalade the problem is that we go back

and visit way more often than we can get through a pot of jam and so your fridge

and your pantries become like a freakin jam cellar! You also know that you're

living with a Frenchman when they refuse to eat

flavored yogurt okay so they like to have their yogurt very plain with no

added sugar it's just like base yoghurt material and they'll lecture you saying

you know well it's so much better to eat your yogurt like this because you don't

know what they put in it otherwise and there's so much added sugar in the other

ones etc etc so you get the whole spiel around why it's so much better for you

to eat natural yogurt and then what they do is that they grab a big old box of

sugar and they will pour it into the yoghurt like you've never seen so much

sugar be consumed in a yogurt I promise you or they'll grab a big chunk of jam

or a big chunk of honey as if that doesn't contain sugar whatsoever and

they'll really mix it in the yogurt and you're like I'm pretty sure that you're

eating way more sugar then the prepackaged yogurts right now but I

won't say anything because you seem very sure about this.

And speaking of eating there are a whole heap of rules around when you can and

can't eat in France and if you live with a French person you're going to hear

about it because there's no such thing as a late lunch and there's definitely

no such thing as an early dinner or you know just skipping dinner cuz you're not

hungry or just having you know just having a piece of toast for dinner or

some cereal for dinner like that would never happen under the watch of a real

French person. So some signs to look for to know that you're really living with a

French person would be like "you're eating that?" or "what's the time? You're

eating now?" or the ultimate "you're eating that, now?!"

and you can wave goodbye it to those evenings after dinner where you tuck

into some like chippies and dip or munching on some biscuits or some sweets

or something like that while you're watching TV that's not the French Way.

Okay the next sign now this is a bit sensitive and I will not confirm or deny

if that is the case for me but a theme that we've randomly picked up on as

expat women with Frenchman is that they will sometimes sit down on the toilet to

pee. Just saying it's really common and it has been mentioned several times so I

don't know what's going on there but that's a bit weird that so many women

have noticed that about their French partners. So guys tell me can you relate?

Do you have a French person in your life? Let me know down below or do you know

someone who's with a French person and maybe sharing this video could be a good

idea if they want to have a little bit of a laugh about it. I know that when I

started dating a French person I would have loved to have this kind of insight

to know what my future may indeed hold. Anyways guys I will love you and leave you

for this video I hope you guys are having a fantastic day and I will see

you next video Wednesday on the Not Even French Channel! A bientôt!

Lonzo Ball's injury is far more damaging to the Lakers' playoff hopes than it might seem - Duration: 6:21.

Lonzo Ball was rolling. He had eight points, 11 assists, a steal, and a block to just one turnover as the Lakers build a 20-point lead over the Rockets, one of the hottest teams in the NBA

And then Ball rolled his ankle in the third quarter, as severely as one can. Teammates carried him off the court, and the Lakers later deemed it a Grade 3 ankle sprain with an injury timetable for return of four-to-six weeks

Los Angeles is on the outside of a playoff race they were already looking into without LeBron James and Rajon Rondo

Ball's injury makes it even more difficult for this team to stay afloat, especially as wild as the Western Conference playoff race is this season

twitter.com/xwH5L0UXM4— Ballislife.com (@Ballislife) January 20, 2019 That 20-point lead was already down to 17 when Ball left the game with an injury

Then James Harden went on a trademark hot streak, Houston forced overtime when Eric Gordon hit a double-pump three-point shot, and the Lakers eventually lost

Brandon Ingram said on @SpectrumSN that the game got away from the Lakers "right when Lonzo went down

I think that's exactly when it went away."— Harrison Faigen (@hmfaigen) January 20, 2019 Los Angeles lost, even though they outscored Houston by 15 points in the 22 minutes Ball was on the floor

The Rockets may have rallied anyway, but it was clear Lakers are a different team with Ball on the floor than they are without him

Los Angeles will miss him for quite a few reasons. Here are two that stick out most

Ball was turning a corner Though LeBron James' quadriceps injury hurt the Lakers in the standings, it did give several of the team's young players a chance to improve

When you take the best player in the world off your team, the rest of the guys have to figure out how to pick up the slack

For Ball, that meant increasing his season averages to 12.5 points, 7.2 assists, 5

9 rebounds and 1.4 steals on 37 percent shooting from three-point range over the 13 games James missed

As Silver Screen & Roll's Harrison Faigen points out, the Lakers were 1.1 points per 100 possessions better with Ball on the floor during that stretch, despite the team going X-X in that time

Ball had been even more aggressive in Los Angeles' last three games. He was averaging 15 points and nine assists while doubling as the Lakers' most aggressive perimeter defender, growing into his game before his teammates eyes

"I think in these last three or four games, he's been very consistent in what he does," Ingram said, according to The Athletic

"And he continues to bring … the energy. Starts picking up 94-feet, him pushing the pace in transition, and it goes from there

" Lakers head coach Luke Walton also noted Ball's development this season. "For Lonzo it's learning on the go," Walton said

"He hasn't had an offseason yet to work on his game. So he's learning while we're playing during the season and he's really done a nice job of turning a corner

We'll see where we're at, how long he's out for, and hopefully get him up and running again and playing at the level he was playing at before he got hurt

" Ball was the only healthy point guard on the Lakers' roster Los Angeles has several playmakers, including Ingram and Lance Stephenson

But with Rajon Rondo also out with a sprained right finger, Ball was the Lakers' only remaining true floor general

Walton told Spectrum SportsNet the team won't rush Rondo or James back to action in wake of Ball's injury, which makes sense: rushing someone else back from injury only increases the odds another will occur

But the Lakers will now have to play point guard by committee. That means Stephenson may find himself as the starting point guard, or maybe that responsibility falls to Josh Hart

In the end, the ball will likely be in Ingram's hands more often as a point forward, but Los Angeles will find it tough to make plays now with their best playmaker — behind James, of course — out for more than a month

The timing of this injury couldn't be worse As of the time of Ball's injury, Los Angeles is the ninth seed in the Western Conference

While they were just 2.5 games behind the fifth-place Rockets — who have their own injury woes to tend to — they were also just four games ahead of the 13th seed

There's no telling how long James and Rondo will take to return. A string of losses at the wrong time knocks the Lakers right out of the playoff picture

No team in the West can afford to lose too many games, and the Lakers aren't exempt

The next few games will be a test to see if this young Los Angeles team rally without its best players, and whether Walton can successfully coach his team through the roughest stretch of the season

If they can't, we might need to imagine another postseason without the league's marquee franchise
