hi guys uhm long time no see the last time I posted a video probably so long ago I
don't even want to know I did intend to come back looking this shitty but it's
been one of those days just I had I was in a very painful state we won't talk about
it it's just one of those days you know just wasn't feeling great but now I feel
wonderful and it's 5:00 in the morning so
obviously what do you do at 5 in the morning you've binge watch youtube
videos uhm you binge watching everything that's in your recommendations on
YouTube and that's what I was doing just mere minutes ago I paused the video to
start doing this but I've been watching a lot of closet declutters recently
didn't think it would be something I was into but very much so am I wasn't I've
been wanting to do one for a very long time never got around to it I'm lazy
yeah and I didn't want to be bothered but I am inspired I always do shit like
this at ungodly hours of the morning but I always end up liking it so I thought
I'd bring you guys along on the journey because I love watching these like I
said and maybe one of you guys will maybe this will inspire you who knows
hopefully this does something for somebody myself include but yeah I've wanted
to do a declutter of my closet for a very long time before I even watched
many of these videos just because it is a fucking mess and it's very hard to fit
clothes in it just is not going well right now I'm just gonna I don't know if
you guys will be able to see it but right now there is a mountain of clothes
on the ground simply because I go through shit trying
to find something that I like and I can't and then they all ends up on my
floor also I've been traveling a lot recently so everything that was in my
suitcase is on the floor and I traveled like about a month ago so I I'm just
very bad at putting clothes away but that's also because I have a lot of
clothes and none of it fits in my closet so that's where it belongs
on the floor so hopefully this helps me out hopefully it inspires me to put away
clothes more because I have less clothes and I don't just throw everything that's
on my floor into the laundry because it simply on the floor and I don't
want to sort through it so hopefully this helps me out I'm basing the
organization of my clothes off a video that I just watched from one second
let me check it, I believe it was Emily Markio I think that's how you say her name
I know she was inspired by somebody else but I don't know who I'm sure you watch
her video I'll link it below she says it but basically what you do is take all of
your clothes out of your closet literally everything and put it on in a
pile and then sort that pile out by like categories like outerwear shirts
pants dresses skirts stuff like that and basically go through those one by one so
that's what I'm going to be doing so wish me luck this sorting process will
be a time-lapse so enjoy that and then I'll get back to you once I'm ready to
sort through shit here we go brothers
okay so this is my pile of clothes for the most part im pretty sure this is all
of my clothes I don't know where else my clothes would be other than in this pile but
who knows, some stragglers might have gotten loose they heard that the purge
was coming they wanted to run they packed up their things grabbed their
family members you know the whole deal but it's a huge pile I was expecting a
little bit bigger honestly but when I was going through it definitely saw some
stuff that I forgot that I had and some stuff that I was like why do I have that
a lot of stuff that I bought when I was younger and that don't fit my style
anymore but I get kept on to because they're still cute but they just don't
fit what I wear anymore so we are giving those away but first I have to sort
these into categories so I'll see you when that happens
okie dokie here is my empty closet besides all of my pajamas which I'm
going to go through after all of this mess because I know that this is gonna
be a whole other ordeal I swear have more pajamas than I do
actual clothes so down here we have my dresses I'm also gonna go through my
shoes but that's also another moment right now I have all my dresses over
here lots of white I don't know why I have my shirts over here I have my pants
some of my shoes , ope, there's a pair of shorts that missed the pile I have so many
jackets I never knew I had so many jackets and cardigans and stuff like
that kind of blows my mind explains a lot for why my closet is always so
packed for no fucking reason cuz I don't have a ton of clothes but I also don't
have a small amount of clothes I guess I don't know over here I have my shorts I
have my skirts very small pile and I have my pajamas oh and over here I have
some sweaters so yeah we're gonna start going through these here we go
okie dokie welcome to the shirts pile this is probably my biggest besides the
sweater pile which I'm sure is just because they're bulky oh yeah i have jackets hanging over here i'm going to add them real fast
I was saying the shirt's pile is probably my biggest pile of just
articles of clothing just because those are the only clothing that I really
switch out a lot like the pants I'll wear like one pair of pants for like a
year and just switch out the top so I have a lot of tops a lot of
them I never fucking wear and I don't know how they got in my closet so we're gonna
go through this journey together ok so first thing first the first thing I see is this jean jacket
cover thing this like a year ago year and a half, actually like
in the summer and before that I wore this thing every day like every single
fucking day it's so soft it's like a like real Jean but like thin and like
flexible and stuff like that and breathable which I really loved
and I still love so I'm gonna keep this because it goes well with everything
especially was like a black pant and just like a casual top underneath
definitely keeping this some I love it and if I don't keep it then I'd always
pass it down to my brother because they also love this next is this halter top I
bought this a long time ago not my style anymore so it's going in the throwaway
pile which I don't have much room to make one but I'll try to do I have a lot
of basics a lot of them are hamdi downs like this used to be my mom's and I
honestly really like this tank top it's really thin especially for like Texas
summers it's a good one especially because I can just put like a bando or
bralette underneath it and it's really nice a lot of stuff that I see with like
youtubers decluttering in the closet it's very like I'm only keeping
statement pieces and new pieces that are like really good I never seen like
anybody keeping their basics and like everyday wear apparel like we're not all
going in trying to look beautiful or live in LA everyday like sometimes I
slip in smaller areas I can't go out looking oh my I mean I guess we can but
some of us just aren't there yet okay and not everyday so I'm definitely going
to be keeping quite a few of my basics but there's a lot of basics I'm
definitely throwing out I just don't know why I have them anymore this one
I'm just like keeping just because it's really comfortable it's lightweight and
it's good for the Texas summers so that's going in and keep this one
I was looking at this when I took it out of the closet and I have I don't know I
have a special relationship with this one
it's one of the only pieces I still have left for my great-grandma before when
she passed away I got most of her clothing and I was a stupid 14 year old
I gave away a lot of it like I sold it on deep pop and like I don't know where
it all went like I don't remember giving it away but I know that I did and it
honestly her breaks my heart and this is one of the only pieces that I still have
left of hers and I really like it especially with some like pants just in
pants and like just wearing this it's very big and very baggy but it's like in
a cute way so but I don't wear it a lot but hopefully me keeping it will make me
wear it I know that's not a good way to go about this but this one look the only
people this is a special piece that I'm going to and it's very vintage and yeah
so I'm keeping this one this shirt I had two of these I don't know why
fucking hate them so I'm giving that one away I just don't want it I don't want
it out of my sight okay so here comes a big part of the reason I was weary about
doing all of this I have last year my aunt passed away and I got a lot of her
clothing and I I don't know we have different styles but I took a lot of her
clothing just because I wanted to have some her still and I don't wear a lot of
it and I don't know it's calling out my
closet and I don't know I don't know why I have it just because it's sentimental
but at the same time like it's just an item so I stopped it still have some
stuff in hers that I'm definitely going to keep but I don't need all of it so
it's one of them and I'm probably gonna give it away by this one I bought from
Bromley I it's horrible quality I thought it was
gonna be like actual handkerchief quality but I shouldn't know it's
wrongly so I fucking hate it it's disgusting it feels disgusting it
fits weird so I'm just going to give this away goodbye
one is a Voltron church and I when I ordered it did not fit right it did not
fit on my body it looked fucking disgusting so I try to crop it and then
I tried to very badly so it like hem it in cut it and so it does not look good I
don't I ruined it so it's goodbye but here's
another Multan shirt that I am keeping because I didn't ruin it and I actually
really like it still so I think I'm going to speed up the rest of this I
have anything else to add in I will pop in and say so
peace I just got this shirt in Chicago and I just wanted to show it off I love
it so much it's like one of those quirky little shirts don't make any fucking
sense really but I love it I got it with my friend Abbi and it says I love my
heart in San Francisco and it's two cats playing the piano
just very cute I got some Buffalo Exchange so yeah also something I forgot
to add sorry I'm probably a copyrighted from the music in the background but a
lot of the reason that I didn't want to do this was because I had a job as a
teacher surprise I know and I had a lot of stuff that I had to keep because I
needed to dress not like a hoe so like I had a lot of like t-shirts that I could
tuck into jeans and stuff like that and a lot of jeans that didn't have rips in
it that I hated but I had to because I have work so now I can finally get
fucking rid of those thank god they're make me so unhappy so that's cool all
right pick up I love this vest I don't wear
enough but it's so cute has like the velvet touches on the collar and on the
pockets and on the bottom it's just so cute and I need to wear it more and more
at once and I don't know why I haven't worn it more so the joys of going to
your closet you find stuff they totally forgot about this is from a Halloween
costume in 2015 or 16 I don't know why I still have it or why I thought that I
even know did to save it I think I thought it was cute but it has literally
like fake flowers super glued to it like I don't know why I thought that I would
wear this again and does not look good so goodbye okay this is the pile of
clothes or the shirts that I am getting rid of and this is the pile that I am
keeping so I think that I like pretty much tapped the pile which is good this
is half of the clothes that was clogging up my shirt section which was right here
like that's a lot of closet space that's like more than half of my closet that I
can use for something else yes boys next time you're going to pants which I don't
have a ton of just because I don't go pants shopping a lot
I just don't like pants pants or me I'm an enemy Mme and then see an enemy but
seriously pants and my absolute enemy I fucking hate shopping for pants it's the
worst but that's being said I have a lot of pants from like years like I saved
them because I feel like I need to because I went through all the trouble
back --lens to search for them and scout one scout scrounged whatever um and like
look of em and like finally find a pair that I liked at the time but they're
fucking disgusting now and I hate them and now there's like sitting in my
closet versus some reason so I need to get rid of them so yeah welcome to the
journey first things first we're starting with my statement pant I'm
gonna keep these they're cute and I don't have a lot of statement pieces but
this is one of them I also wore two soft by Southwest with koba classy with
Karlie Kloss and stuff like that we had a photo shoot and everything very cute
going to keep these hopefully I can find a place and time to wear them again I've
been trying to get a little bit more adventurous with my clothing options
that's part of the reason why I'm doing this I'm watching a lot of internet girl
she styled me in LA at the D pop location and ever since I've been
watching summer great YouTube videos I'm like I need to be more confident and
wear shit that I actually want to wear and this is one of them so I'm gonna try
to wear these in a more casual setting other than just going to events and
wearing them so yeah keeping these this is an example of the work stuff that I
had to keep these room right basically my work pants these were used
to be like Mike one of my favorite pants just because I liked the fit of them
they weren't super skinny and they were cut off like this and I used to wear
them all the time but then they became my worst pants because they were still
kind of cute in high-rise and it didn't have any
ropes in them so basically they became my work pants and now they're disgusting
they have all sorts of children experiment goo oh that sounds weird but
like when we do it like experiments because of the stem teachers so we would
it mix up a whole bunch of gross gravity things and they would just like rub it
on my pants and stuff and so would I so these like they smell gross even though
I've washed them numerous times and they just look gross now so I'm gonna say
goodbye to these because they hold a lot of bad memories too so goodbye oh here's
Herman here my baby jeans I wear these every fucking today I
seriously do I wear these like a ridiculous amount if you go on my
Instagram this is the whole thing it's just like basically a fan account for
these jeans they're cotton on and I don't know what it is the fit about them
they just get me right they just get me their perfect amount of high rise they
are baggy at the ankle but like not crazy baggy and they're tight at the
thigh but not too tight oh my gosh and it's just it works it's
beautiful a work of art I'm definitely saving up money to get another pair of
these jeans I would be a fool I would I got you ever trying to give these away
at least right now I've gone insane somebody please help me if that happens
but these I'm keeping me right now I don't know what the fuck these are umm I
don't know how they got my closet they're definitely not mine but I'm
throwing them away or whoever this is whoever bought these no you're welcome I
don't know who owns this is mine giveaway pile and that's my keep pile so
currently a giveaway pile is bigger that sounds good
good what's happening to my thumb good this skirt pile is going to be very
brief because I own I think four skirts basically I have this one that's like
long and halfway see through with a slit on the side very edgy and cool and one
of the only skirts that I still wear sometimes so I'm keeping this one this
one I bought recently just because I saw some girl wearing it and it's like a
body tight skirt wearing this like with hot thigh highs and like a cute card
again it was very cozy and cute but it doesn't looks fucking disgusting on me
so no I've owned this skirt for years and it did me good for a while but not
anymore plus it doesn't fit me so goodbye
this skirt also did me good for a very long time it's still cute but I don't
wear it ever so goodbye in this skirt it's not even mine it's my mom's so
sorry mom here you go and you're gonna have this
back okay max pile is going to be short and overalls so let's get into this I
really like shorts a lot especially because Texas I could wear shorts right
now it's fucking dead in the winter I could probably just wear them and be
fine so I wear shorts a lot first things
first these green overalls I'm missing a pair of overalls that look out my
favorite but I don't know where they are so that's alarming but the user might be
one of my favorite overalls they're very cute they remind me of like cargo pants
but if they were overalls so I'm gonna keep this
please I fuckin love these I love how they look they like give me train
conductor vibes I just have not worn these in a very long time but I really
want to especially I was opposed to say especially with a game warmer but like
it's January but I'm going to keep these because I'm really gonna try to wear
them more because I really love these but it doesn't happen I'll have to kiss
them goodbye these shorts I love them so much I got them at Buffalo Exchange and
they are just so pretty from UNIF and they are a red velvet and I just love
these very much and I don't wear them a ton not as much as I want to so I'm
going to try to wear them a lot more they're so cute
these bad boys see these look like the American Apparel high waisted sunflower
jeans that were like super and popular in my channel and 13 - the glow but
they're actually vintage ones that I got from a local vintage store called blue
velvet in Austin and they are so cute and they're so soft and
there by a brand called nada stuff not enough huh cool and they're made in the
USA so bulk yeah America going through my sweater pile right now like knit
sweaters and like some loser hoodies but I don't think I'm gonna be keeping a lot
of these a lot of these I bought when I was really insecure and when I hide my
body and in like a chunky sweater I've ever heard of a lot of them but for some
reason I kept a few just because I could like but that was like years ago and I'm
tired of it this so we get rid of this bullshit okay we hide in our bodies
anymore come on it still as a 19 so yeah here we go
I used to love this sweater this was like one of my OD like hide your body
sweaters it's just so big and recently I've been trying to wear it a little bit
more because it's like a cute color especially for fall but it's just very
hard to style with my style now it doesn't work so I think I'm gonna get
rid of it you see me through a lot but it's time for us to part ways
same thing with this one oh my god it's one I've had for so long and I
never wear it anymore just because it doesn't look good on my body anymore sis
gotta get rid of this shit but I also next is the big bad boy pile it's the
last pile besides pajamas and underwear and shoes
which I will be doing off-camera this is the big bad boy pile that has been
taking up most of my closet apparently even though I didn't know it was a
silent killer honestly overwhelmed just looking and
light on this but let's get into it I guess this used to be like my go-to
jacket like back when I wanted to be a hippie so bad it's just like patchwork
it was super soft it still is super soft but it doesn't go with anything better
where anymore and I don't remember the last time I wore it so I think we have
to kiss goodbye oh this bad boy I bought this on sale and it was right before I
went on vacation to Michigan but now I got like a new jacket that I wear like
24/7 and I don't even take this anywhere I think I took it one winter and I
haven't taken it yet and there's an old tissue probably years old and in that's
fucking disgusting and also wants to go put a whole bunch of more dirt stains on
it so I'm gonna get rid of it I don't need it
this jacket I always forget I have this jacket I really like it it's a space
jacket it's a weird cut but I honestly kind of
like it like that I love the pattern on it it's like a different usually it's
like galaxy themed uh my god I fucking hate those but I really like this
pattern a lot so I remember that I had this oh this is my favorite cardigan
ever I could die with this cardigan be happy it's just so cute I started this
it's like the best or fine ever it has like a bunch of stars all over it it's
just so cute so cute this is one of my mom's jackets or like Cardian things I
remember wearing this when I was a kid I've never worn in my life but I'm going
to get this back to her graciously as a present because I'm just that great of a
dollar I'm gonna give it back to her with her skirt and this one is another
one of my great grandma's pieces I like a fucking idiot I love this age to wear
it all the time but I like a fucking idiot left in the back Oh back seat of
my old car with a bottle of oil and it got all over it so as oil stains on it
it's not super noticeable so I probably can still go off in this but
you guys tell me things noticeable enough it's like down here my neighbors
are waking up it's time for them to go to school I don't know what time is it
god I'm keeping this though and this baby this is my one true
when you're rich think you heard
but this is my one true love jacket I wear this and wear this in the heat of
the summer I get heatstroke with this jacket okay
hi where are my closet now I'm so sorry for
the terrible lighting we're in here because I forgot a pile it was a pile of
dresses and also because it makes it harder for my neighbor to hear this is
my pile of dresses I can't remember the last time I wore a dress so we know
what's gonna happen with this pile goodbye the only reason that I kept this
one is because it used to be it was the dress that I wore in my mom's wedding as
a bridesmaid let's just say that wedding was useless the marriage went down the
shithole so buy this dress god I used to wear this dress so much it's like really
cute if I could wear it still I would but it's insanely short I don't know
what I was thinking I was on my bullshit back when so I'm probably trying to sell
this on deep hump you want to cop it check that it'll be in the description
it's very cute has little flowers on it baby doll dress yeah
and these are special to me because it's my great grandma's wedding dress so I
don't know why I'm ever gonna wear this but it's like adorable and honestly like
doing something so maybe at one point I'll find time and place to wear this
and have the confidence to do so and I'm probably gonna keep it for the rest of
my life because it's my great grandma's wedding dress
come on this one I did something bad with this one this one is a dress that
my mom has had since high school and used to be really long and super cute
and like very hippie and I say that I don't look good in long dresses
fuck that bitch and I cut it not the best decision that I ever made in my
life I instantly regarded it and now I'm left with the consequences because I've
never worn it but losing it the other day and I was
like hmm I could really do something with this it's a weird color combo that
I don't wear a lot so I don't know a lot of things I would match with it thank
you
but yeah I'm going to keep this wait so I'm
finally done sort of I have to do my pyjamas and stuff like that in underwear
and shoes and stuff but I'm going to be doing that off-camera and not in this
video so basically this is where I'm signing off but this is my giving away
and donating pile this is my keeping pile which is kind of significantly
smaller I don't know if it's just because it's up against the suitcase or
not but I'm feeling good about it like good stuff that's happening here
I think that I am going to make a part to this video trying on the stuff that I
kept and show you guys how I'm going to style some of them especially the stuff
that I forgot about and how I am going to wear them
