How I Pack My Carry-on & Checked Luggage | Pack Lighter & Smarter - Duration: 7:03.
Hi everybody, welcome back I'm Disha and today I'm going to share how I pack my check-in and carry-on bag. So let's start
So my first tip is very common and you all probably know about it
But still I'm going to share that if you are planning to go to some other country
then it is always a good idea to know about the climatic conditions of that country so that you can pack accordingly
Like I got to know that Singapore is hot and humid. So I packed my clothing accordingly and
It rains
Frequently there. So I packed umbrella as well. These are all my clothes
I'm packing for Singapore, which is very hot and humid country. So all my clothes are according to Singapore's weather
In my checked bag, I will be packing my and my son's clothes. He's just ten and I don't want to carry too much luggage
So that one is jumpsuit, two jeans, few shorts and some t-shirts
dresses,
few more tees and shorts,
sleepwear
Belts, and this is a travel kit, socks and those are packing cubes.
I love packing cubes because they are ultimate packing organizers and they allow me to maximize the space and
they are just great to organize and
Compartmentalize the stuff that is going inside your luggage if you haven't used them yet
Then I highly recommend to start using them because I know you will start loving them. I don't suggest
unnecessary things to buy but these packing cubes are worth buying Consider them as one-time
investment because after that you will start loving them and you will be able to organize your
luggage and you'll save a lot of space and it will save a lot of time also because when you are on a trip
you don't want to rummage through your luggage and just keep searching for the stuff.

This medium-sized one has all my inner wears. This one has all my makeup
so that way I'll
Compartmentalize all the stuff inside my luggage.
Now let's fold and keep all the stuff inside the luggage and you can do this in two ways.
Either you can roll your clothes or just fold them.
So I personally like folding them of course to minimize wrinkles while packing.
This is how I folded all my tops

This packing cube has accommodated ten tops and a dress. Can you believe that?
Now it is easy to compress all the cloths and I have more space to keep other stuff
Since this packing tube is transparent. I can easily see what I have kept where
Now I will fold the bottoms in a similar way
I'll keep these bottoms and sleepwear in the luggage the way I keep them in my wardrobe.
Here goes the packing cube, bottoms, sleepwear and inner wears
Now this side of the luggage is done. This side is for my son's clothes. Here go all the bottoms,
his tees,
This packing cube has his inner wears,
Some more tees, shirts and sleep wears.
Now I have some space here where I'll keep this travel kit
that has toiletries, some tissue papers and other stuff like q-tips and
Sunscreen, makeup remover and stuff like that. This pouch has my makeup.
I'm bringing gifts for kids. So here it goes and this is a small pouch in which I have kept my belts.
Now since I have some more space left here so I'd keep few of my shoes of course in a shoe-bag
and towels too

This checklist is truly ultimate and extremely helpful. It has all the essential items listed
So once you are done packing you can go through the checklist to make sure that you haven't forgotten any essential stuff.I

Ok, so now I'll pack my carry-on.
Here's the stuff that is going inside my carry-on.
All the documents, power bank, mobile and camera chargers.
I tie them and keep them in a pouch like this
You can use something like this, which is very functional. Link to buy this one is given in the description.
Next is my wallet, a pen, a book,
my glasses,
Shades and some liquids and gel that I'll need on-board. So as per TSA
I have kept them in a clear quart sized bag and each one of them is less than 100 ml
This bag has my contact lenses, its solution, hand wash,
sanitizer,
face wash and toothpaste. Now I'll keep all this inside my bag.
Things that I'll need to take out during security check are going in this pocket
So that it is easier to take them out and all the other things in bigger compartment.
I'll suggest you to keep extra clothing so that in case your checked luggage is lost at least you have something with you.
So that's it. I'm done
Okay so both
my bags are ready check-in and carry-on. the stuff that I didn't show like
my shoes, and other stuff, jacket and all. So all that stuff is going in my husband's bag
so

Traveling to Bled | My First Solo Hike in an Unknown Country | Two Hikes in a Day - Duration: 8:11.
I did it and I am so.. so happy!
Hey you all Welcome to Penning Silly Thoughts. So this is another travel
video about my trip to Bled. Now Bled is a part of Slovenia which is a small
underrated country in Central Europe but somehow Bled is full of tourists
because of the famous Lake Bled which has amazing stunning views. So a few tips
before you plan your trip to Bled. Find accommodation in Ljubljana it's a
bigger city and has more facilities as compared to Bled and there are daily
buses that commute between Ljubljana and Bled. Third is that a day or two are
sufficient for your stay in Bled if you only want to do the touristy
highlighted parts like walking around the lake, visit Triglav national park and
hiking to view points. Apart from that you can relax and sip coffee in cozy cafés
so that's about the tips for me I stayed in Bled and I stayed there for two
nights and I swear I had the best hostel experience in bled super awesome
slovenians they are so polite so kind so warm and the hostel was the coziest one
like it was clean and really cozy and the host makes sure that you're
comfortable and you're happy staying there so Back Hostel you did a really
really great job
so my first morning in Bled and it was raining. The weather in Bled is very
dicey you cannot rely on weather forecast
one minute it is sunny and the next minute it starts raining so I just hoped
that it won't rain, it'll be fine and I'll be able to go to the hikes that I
wanted to do. So I stayed in hostel for some time till it stopped till it
finally stopped raining around 10:00 a.m. and I set on my first hike -
Straza viewpoint
So this is a typical touristy area of Bled - shops, restaurants,
casinos and far on the top you can see the Straza viewpoint. So there are two
different trails to reach the Straza point - one is through the grasslands
and meadows which is quite simple and but the second one is through the forest
area. I decided to go up the point through the grasslands and come back
through the forested areas
heading down, camera inside the bag, rest inside the jacket and lets go!
hey so I'm going to take this jungle route and my friends know
I'm really afraid of jungles but then I thought chuck it off let's just do it and this is
what I'm going to take
since it started raining before I even reached the viewpoint I was drenched in
rain by the time I came down so I treated myself with some coffee and Bled cream
cake which is a must-try dessert
So after taking a small break in my hostel
I started off with my next hike to Ojstrica viewpoint
So I took the trail which was shown on the google maps and the funny
thing that there were three different trails that were shown and all of them
seemed to be a dead end. There was not a clear route so I went to
all three of them and came back and I was like what should I do now and then I
headed back to the meadows area where I met a woman and she guided me to the
right direction through a park and finally I was able to see the Ojstrica
starting point
I have to reach down by it gets dark before it gets dark and before it starts
raining because I'm not wearing the right footwear and I don't want to
slip and get lost but thankfully there are people here but I want to still
reach down before it gets dark and just sit by the lake for some time to relax my whole
body
Made it! I am down and you can see the beautiful lake behind me
You're going to be fine just don't act smart and try to take shorter
route. I tried to do and slipped. I'll show you my picture but take the right
route and walk slowly and confidently you'll be fine
Last day in Bled and just when I
thought that I have had the time of my life I saw my first double rainbow full
rainbow and a second rainbow it was one of the most surreal feelings ever
so you can see one rainbow near the pole which is not very clear and one on
the right side which is very clear
Raining that side while it's not raining at all on this side that's pretty cool
So guys that was it about my experience in Bled and I'm sure that you will have a great time
in Bled and even if people say that Lake Bled has the best views during a sunny
day I would like to disagree to that because
it had pretty dope views on a cloudy day as well. If you're interested in reading

There's no way to sugarcoat it when talking about the outlook and current situation for Carmelo Anthony.
Although he played just 10 games with the Houston Rockets this season, it's apparent his tenure didn't go the way the team hoped.
This comes one offseason removed from what was arguably the worst season on Anthony's career with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2017-18.
Between the 78 games in Oklahoma City and 10 in Houston, the veteran forward has shot no better than 40.5 percent from the field in either year.
He was logging the lowest number of minutes per game of his career, although that's not all that surprising considering he's played 1,064 total games over 16 years.
But from the sound of it, that mileage and even his potential conditioning may be playing a role in the interest level the Los Angeles Lakers have in adding him, as The Athletic's Sam Amick revealed.
"Not only is it unclear how they would clear the roster spot to add Anthony, or if there's a possible trade to be made there with the Rockets, but a source close to James said Anthony's conditioning and the overall state of his game are considered key factors here in terms of convincing the Lakers to add the player who had the worst season of his career with the Thunder and wasn't any better with the Rockets.
As Amick points out, there are questions even beyond just the conditioning aspect, as the Lakers do have a full roster.
Along with that, each piece is either capable of contributing now, is young with upside or is a potential trade asset for a bigger move.
Carmelo Anthony's Struggles of Late.
The fact that it took just 10 games for the Rockets to opt against keeping Anthony around the team, even with all the recent injuries, is a telling sign.
He had averaged 13.4 points on 40.5 percent shooting and pulling down the second-fewest rebounds per game of his career with 5.4.
Although it was a small sample size, the struggles went hand-in-hand with what fans saw from the 34-year-old the season prior.
While Anthony has an impressive resume, complete with 10 All-Star appearances, six All-NBA honors (two second-team, four third-team), he struggled to fit with the Thunder last season.
Prior to this year, the 16.2 points per game he averaged were over 4.5 minutes less than the lowest of his career, which in the 2004-05 season with the Denver Nuggets.
Lakers' Struggles to Find Roster Space.
As Amick and The Athletic cited in the above story, the belief was that 21-year-old center Ivica Zubac could be the player who lost his roster spot if Anthony were signed.
But considering how well he's played of late, that seems unlikely.
We're less than 24 hours removed from a game in which Zubac poured in 26 points with 12 rebounds during an overtime road win against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
With the Lakers hoping to make a push for New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis still, they need to hold all the young assets possible.
Unfortunately for Anthony, that may mean that his chances of landing in Los Angeles are somewhat slim, barring something big happening.
