Youtube daily report w Feb 3 2019

Today I give you access to this course online, or I give you lots of stuff and

tips for learning how to paint fur with a tiger as subject.

The following version is a speed version painting of the course.

If you are a VIP member of L'ARTmoire, you have automatically access to the long version

the completion of the final stage, either the last layer more detailed.

A version in which you have access to even more information.

VIP or not, you can get the full course via the online store of L'ARTmoire.

I put you the link in the description under the video.

The complete course includes: a video of over two hours in which

we see together: The realization of the base of the canvas,

preparing the paint palette where do you see how I do each of the mixes

of color, The realization of the first layer less

Detailed And the realization of the final layer, which

she has all the details.

Which is really great with this model online courses is what you can do

pause, step back and listen to the part of your choice as many times as you want.

So you do it at your own pace

No pressure

As for almost all my creations, I painted my background in acrylic,

of a color that joins the one of my subject.

For sketch lines, your reference lines that will help you keep the right proportions,

you can work in many ways.

You can use a layer, use the method the grid, a projector or trace to

hand up.

I made a capsule that explains to you each of these methods.

Just click on the link appears on the screen, or on the one I

you put in the description.

The reference lines will help you to have, as is the case here, the eye to the good

location, of the right proportion, but also to divide your color areas

or shadows and light.

For the first layer of detail that is in oil, I do not go so

too precise.

I put my colors as best as I can, I already give some aspect of fur,

but without going to trace each little hair.

I use a brush "mop" to go to remove the paint gradients

and refine the features.

In today's class we proceed in two layers, which is a method among

so many others.

Since there is no good how to paint, it's up to you to test

and see which one suits you best.

You can even modify it and adapt it to your needs by creating your own method

Creation.

To proceed in the way that I show you today it can be especially practical

with colors like orange and then that they are pigments that make the painting

quite translucent, making it almost impossible the realization of the subject in a single layer,

unless you operate in thick layers.

For the second layer, which is the layer final, there we go much more in detail,

we come to give the thickness to the fur, realism to the animal.

We must observe our reference photo, see all the little color variations.

I see a lot of artists who paint orange tigers and orange-yellow lions.

Be careful, it can give a look more drawing if you want.

If you look at the pictures of tigers for example you will see that the coat can

vary from orange to yellow, or with a little more brown and for the lions a lot

are of a hue similar to straw with many gray areas.

Give the true colors about you will help you achieve a better level

of realism.

This course is not a course of hyper realism.

Yes we try to give a real appearance to the animal rather than an appearance of

drawing, but we do not try to go too much in detail to make our painting

like a photo.

We do a good mix of detail.

So that's it for the video today, I hope you enjoyed,

and as I told you if you want to get the complete course I put you in the description.

The course is in oil.

But if you want, you can do it in acrylic.

I am often asked the question.

In this case, I suggest you work in smaller section than what I do

and you can also use a self-timer drying for acrylic painting that

you will mix with your colors respecting the right proportions that are recommended

on the product.

It'll help you practice if you prefer acrylic and it will give you time to adjust.

If you liked this capsule, you can click on the little thumbs up, and do not forget

not subscribe to the YouTube channel if it's not already done to not miss anything

next capsules.

Thank you for your listening, see you next time!

5 videos of mental control or telekinesis unexplained - Duration: 5:49.

Mental control.

Or Psychokinesis or telekinesis.

a study beyond psychology.

It is the ability to influence the physical world.

And move objects remotely.

Or using the power of reason.

Without being between the person.

and this thing any physical contact.

And unlike other phenomena.

This phenomenon is characterized by.

the ability to see its results.

Directly and with the eye.

we have.

5 videos of mental control.

or telekinesis unexplained.

And how scientists tried to explain it.

The word Mental control was first used.

In 1890.

By the Russian researcher.

Alexander Eklipse.

Which indicated that the ability.

to move physical objects.

it is a paranormal phenomenon.

Most people do not believe this can happen.

The US government has studied the phenomenon.

And several other phenomena such as visual evacuation.

Or remote vision and other phenomena.

Many scientists claim.

Especially physicists. this phenomenon is theoretically possible.

There are many people who profess to have this ability.

and There are some ways to develop this capability.

According to the opinion of specialists.

There are many obstacles.

to acceptance of mental stimulation.

Harder than accepting telepathy.

We have no particular theory.

To explain the movement of objects.

Which are not magnetic at all.

So how it can move remotely. at the turn of the twenty-first century.

Mental mobility became the subject of a scientific study.

Especially since the second half of the twentieth century.

Where the world was full.

The manifestations of supernatural abilities.

Which take the attention of scientists and specialists.

To study these supernatural phenomena. and uncover their causes.

The world known as Holt has used this term.

To indicate the ability to communicate. with spirits By a broker.

While Joseph Ryan used the term.

To indicate the phenomenon of effect on the body.

On a distance without the use of physical means.

Such as muscle strain.

Or any activity of the kinetic energy in the body.

This was confirmed by Ryan in 1943.

That is, the term "stirring".

It is called a moving object.

Without touching it directly by hand.

Or other parts of the body.

Do not use any known medium.

to convey the effect.

To the body.

Such as using the air through blowing.

Or any other known means.

many researchers point out.

To the phenomenon of stirring supernatural.

Was behind the proposal.

of what is known as the famous term.

Mind over matter.

It is clear that the effect of the mind.

on the material is possible.

Without physical interference. to any other part of the body.

Another team of researchers points out.

That the great stirring existed.

since the age of the Pharaohs.

And that the heavy stone of pyramids. were Put some above by Mental control.

But there is no evidence to substantiate this claim.

And actually the exciting thing.

in the phenomena of Mental control.

Is the power of observation.

As if not affected by the distance between.

the impact and the body.

Which has the effect.

Nor any barriers between them.

There are phenomena about people.

who have the abilities of.

supernatural Mental control.

They affected on far objects.

Or isolated from them.

and tey can Repeat this several times.

This phenomenon is of particular importance.

For some traditional sciences.

They seem, for example.

As if they violated basic laws of physics.

One of the rules.

It is known as the reverse squared law.

with the square of distance between.

the interacting objects.

That the supernatural Mental control.

is not the only supernatural phenomenon.

Which appear to be.

not subject to reverse quadratic law.

All supernatural phenomena.

are without exception.

Not subject to various natural laws.

And a group of scientists interested in.

this supernatural phenomenon.

and They conducted a series of tests.

to verify their authenticity.

Archives of scientists and scientific records.

It has a large number of cases.

For the supernatural phenomena. of moving things from a distance.

Without external influences.

By some owners of supernatural abilities.

Who can control their capabilities.

And thus review them whenever they wish.

The person who has the ability to Mental control.

he can often move objects remotely.

By doing a kind of mental focus.

the day with their children and it is also appreciated as some parents also spend the day

with your children, it could be that finally We'll see Who is Metal Lee's mom?

🏢ПОЛЁТ НАД ВОЛГОЙ в НИЖНЕМ НОВГОРОДЕ. Страшно Весёлая Кабина над Волгой - Duration: 13:29.

Hello, friends

How do we make the flight across the Volga River with

cable car.

Nizhny cable car Novgorod connects two

the banks of the Volga River.

You need to go to her stop "Sennaya Square".

On the other side of the station cable car is located in the city

Boron.

At the time of the USSR Bor city famous for its glass

production. 90 percent of the glass at that

time set in cars, trains and other

transport, were made in the city of Bor.

I must say that it is on this funicular road

Olyushka and I went to the first time.

And so, Olyushka bought tickets and we set off for landing.

In the morning on a weekday to the side Bora was not a people at all,

since the working day was already in full swing and all workers

from Bor already worked with might and main in Nizhny Novgorod, therefore

back home they will go by the evening.

When the door stall automatically shut she slowly

crawling to the edge of the station and the stream abruptly breaks down

and speeding fast starts its movement

across the river.

The attraction is pretty fun especially if you go to the first

time.

Olyushka even several times tried to lie on the floor when

the booth rocked like a pendulum Yes, and I felt cold in my soul.

But man gets used to everything and if you drive every day,

then fear is dulled.

Looking ahead to say that way back from Bor to

Nizhny Novgorod is no longer caused such strong emotions

as the beginning of our trip.

Nizhny Novgorod cable road - cableway

across the Volga between the Lower Novgorod and Bor.

The main purpose is to provide alternative type of passenger

shipments in addition to river taxi, electric trains

and buses.

In practice, the cable car also began to represent

tourist interest for city guests, thanks

opening in time travel panoramic views.

Building and assembly work began on January 20

2010

Run the road in working The mode took place on February 9

2012.

Operation mode: Monday Thursday:

6:45 - 21:00

Friday, Saturday: 6:45 - 22:00.

Sunday and holidays Days: 9:00 - 22:00

Bandwidth - about 500 passengers per

hour.

The length of the road is 3661 meters with a height difference

62 meters, the number of supports - 10.

Under the train stations and supports allocated 31.8 hectares in Nizhny Novgorod

area and 29.6 hectares on Bor.

Used 28 eight-seater cabins.

The project provides increase in the number of cabins

up to 56 with increasing throughput capacity up to 1000 passengers

at one o'clock.

Estimated Travel Time - 12.5 minutes, which corresponds to

average speed 14-22 km / h

Nizhny Novgorod cable the road has the largest

unsupported span in Europe above water surface

- 861 meters.

Opening of the cable car planned for September

2010 however in may 2010 years under construction

project documentation was sent for revision,

after which it took again passing state

expertise.

According to the director of the OJSC "Nizhny Novgorod cable

roads "Pavel Fomichev, by December 2010 all work

on the installation of supports were fulfilled.

Opening dates were shifted for the second quarter of 2011.

However, in February 2011 more installation work was in progress

T7 supports, located on the island.

In September 2011 began technological installation work

rope using Ka-32T helicopter.

Work was carried out with overlappings parts of the Volga

(between the relevant supports) for three hours

a few days.

Total for the delivery of steel structures for supports it took

78 road trains for delivery equipment - 47 trucks

cars.

For the delivery of the rope used also sea and rail ferry

transport.

The first passengers in the test the trip became 16 officials

led by the governor Valery Shantsev.

Originally planned test using

sandbags however They did not have time to spend.

Therefore, it was decided to replace sandbags by living officials.

Although here they were used to destination.

February 9, 2012 passenger cable car between cities

Nizhny Novgorod - Bor has begun for the carriage of passengers.

One week after launch, February 15, 2012

because of the strong wind happened automatic actuation

and the cable car was stopped.

To ensure transportation all passengers by company

"Logoprom - Borsk Transportation" in addition to two ships

on the airbag Khivus-10 on the line were taken out

48 seater vessels Khivus-48. February 25, the situation repeated:

automatics due to gusts the wind stopped the cable car

road 9 times, after which shipments have been suspended

for a few hours.

By the way, how is the trip because of the wind going on

we tested with Olyushka to myself.

I will tell about it a bit later.

March 22, 2012 over rowing channel a few hundred

meters from the cable car helicopter crash occurred

Bell 407 stranded wire Power lines.

Cable car equipment the road was not affected.

People at the time went rumor that the helicopter intentionally

sent to the cable car and he was shot down by a special complex,

interfering with aircraft means.

True or not, to anyone not known, but helicopter

collapsed, not reaching several meters to the cable car.

Meanwhile for the first year of operation number of transported

passengers accounted for almost 2 million people.

On the morning of July 31, 2014 at cable car happened

State of emergency.

In support near the booth, in which there were people

struck by lightning.

At this time in Nizhny Novgorod there was a strong thunderstorm and work

the cable car was decided suspend.

However, on the road in the booths were already

people.

According to an eyewitness the blow was of such strength that

people even sat down.

At the station, the passengers went out on shaky legs.

By October 2015 transported 6 million people by August

2016 - 8 million people and by April 2018 - 10 million

person.

Here is such in Nizhny Novgorod cable car

She has already become a tourist landmark

Nizhny Novgorod and many guests ride on it to

see the beauty of Mother Volga.

Will be in Nizhny Novgorod - be sure to ride

on this cable car.

Admire the views and get a bit of adrenaline.

Back trip with Olyushka held in the company of female students

who drive every day in Nizhny Novgorod.

Suddenly on the way back a strong wind started and

in motion the cabin has become swing hard.

On the rope worked emergency automation and the whole line

stopped to cabin did not swing even more.

According to traveling with us girls this often happens

during a strong wind.

Well, nothing to do, hang so hang) Let's wait.

After a 15-minute hover over the Volga, the cable car came to life

and our booth started moving again in the direction of Nizhny Novgorod.

That's how you get off easy frightened we got mass

impressions and a lot of good moods.

Millennials & Gen Z Voters Hold All The Power In 2020 Election - Duration: 4:56.

You know, I have said this a lot, pretty much since the 2016 election, I said a lot in the

run up to the 2018 midterms and I'm probably going to say it a lot in the run up to the

2020 presidential election, and that is this millennials and the generation behind them

now that is coming of voting age Generation Z, they hold so much power in our electoral

process and I don't think they understand just how much power they have according to

the latest, uh, numbers here in 20, 20, those two generations, the two youngest millennials

and Gen Z, they will make up 37 percent of the voting population here in the United States.

Thirty seven percent.

That percentage is enough to swing an election in any way.

Those young Americans choose to take it.

And here's the best part.

These generations are more diverse than their predecessors.

There are more open-minded.

They're more likely to believe that the government should be doing more to help American citizens.

And they don't mind if we tax the wealthy to pay for things that we desperately need

here in the United States.

They understand that the job market actually does suck.

Yeah, we might be adding 200,000 jobs a month, but those aren't jobs that are going to pay

a living wage.

Those aren't jobs that are going to turn into careers.

Those aren't jobs that provide the opportunity for advancement there.

Jobs that get you by for the time being, but they're not sustainable in this generation,

understands that.

They understand that in a way that the previous generations didn't even have to understand

it.

They're angry, they've been screwed over there.

The ones who will deal with climate change for their entire existence, the effects of

it, that is from the day they were born.

We were feeling the effects here in the United States and all over the globe, and that is

a very real problem that they take seriously.

Even those in those generations who lean to the right, they understand we have to do something

about it.

They don't deny the science.

They understand it.

So as a whole, these generations are far more liberal.

Even when they identify as conservatives.

Now, it's important to point out that these two generations will not make up the largest

voting block that actually will be the baby boomers.

However, the silent generation, which is the oldest generation alive today, their numbers

have dwindled to the point where a Gen Z, the youngest actually will outnumber them,

and that's how it's going to go for quite a while.

Now.

The silent generation will continue to shrink.

Generation Z will continue to grow and as they their power is going to increase.

These are kids who lived in fear, whatever they went to school because these are kids

who some of them had to watch their classmates get shot and then they watched politicians

do nothing about it except obviously send their thoughts and prayers.

These are kids who have experienced hell just living here in the United States, and I know

baby moon were boomers, silent generation.

They fought the great wars, right?

They got to leave our country to go do that and see those atrocities.

These kid's fricken saw it in high school, classmates getting shot down like it was an

active war zone.

Those images aren't going to go away and neither of the images of the politicians saying there's

nothing we can do about it, and they're going to carry that with them and the political

lessons they've learned from it for the rest of their lives.

So here is what we have to do.

We have to keep them active.

We have to keep them energized and we have to engage with them.

If any of these Democrats who have announced that they want to run for president or that

they are running for president, if they want a shot at winning the White House, that 37

percent millennial Gen Z group, those are the ones they have got to appeal to and what

they have to do is offer them a better future because God knows the previous generations

have almost completely screwed them out of the possibility of having even a decent future.

Gun & Badge | shama - Duration: 3:04.

- Yes, sir.

I understand, sir.

I will.

Jeff and Jamarcus!

(dramatic music)

Oh, no, no, no, no

Stand up

I figured you got so much God-forsaken energy

terrorizing this town,

you guys can stand up for a little bit.

Now, the question isn't what did you do,

the question is,

what didn't you do?

(melancholy music)

I'm gonna need your gun and badge

on my desk now, both of ya.

(dramatic music)

- So, what does this mean?

- What does this mean?

It means you're suspended!

No pay!

(dramatic music intensifies)

- Okay.

- Word.

Dude, I am really lookin' forward

to catching up on some Fixer-Upper, man.

- Yeah, dude.

My wife has been begging me to remodel the kitchen.

- How's she doin', by the way?

- Gentlemen, I don't wanna see you

on the premises or anywhere near this case.

- Yeah, like I was sayin' man, you know,

she just got over a flu, but she's good.

- 70 hour weeks are killer, aren't they?

- I know, we work 12-hour night shifts.

By the time I get home, my wife's goin' to work.

- Now, don't you go solvin' this case behind my back.

- Why would we do that?

You just took us off the case.

- Yeah, I know, and I don't want you anywhere near it.

- Why would we work on our time off?

- All right, pick up your gun and badge.

You're not suspended.

- So, we're not suspended?

No.

- But we were?

- You know what?

You're suspended again.

Gimme your badge and gun.

- Oh, okay.

- You know what?

I'm puttin' ya back on the case.

- I don't get it.

Are we on the case or off the case?

You're gonna need to start being a little less vague.

- Yeah I'm, I'm really lost.

- I really need the time off.

- Yeah, me too.

- Pick up your gun and badges.

What are you doing?

Wha?

No, yes.

Please.

Stop it.

Whoa.

Uh.

Get out of my office!

(melancholy jazzy music intensifies)

I don't know what I'm doing.

- I don't what we're doin', man.

(siren blipping)

- Are we on the clock right now, Jeff?

How Fun is the Gina K Wreath Builder Template! - Duration: 10:25.

hi it's Therese from Lostinpaper and today I'm going to be using the Gina K

wreath builder template.

So today I've got the Gina K original Wreath builder template and this is for

the 3 and 3/4 or the 4 inch sized card stock and you do need to use the Misti

tool or something similar, a stamp positioning tool, to be able to use these

templates I've cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock to the 3 and 3/4 inch

square and I've put my template in place and placed my cardstock within that

The floral images that I'm using today come from reverse confetti and it's from a

set called build a bunch and I've just positioned it on my cardstock where I

think I might want it and picked it up with the lid of my Misti to create a

circle of an image and you can use any any image that you have or they want all

you need to do is stamp the image rotate the cardstock on every turn and this is

going to repeatedly stamp the same image in that perfect circle and because it's

in the Misti if it doesn't stamp perfectly you can always restamp it

it's a brilliant tool and a brilliant template I really like the concept of

this it's it doesn't just limit you to wreaths and that's what I was kind of

learning as I was playing with it with this template because I'm thinking I

actually don't create a lot of wreath cards but I do like to have a focal

point and by being able to stamp all around the edges of a piece of cardstock

like this that gives me a Center where I can

actually stamp a sentiment or put an image or do whatever I want. so this

is where I wanted to come in with some critters and I didn't want the critter

to be at every flower so they're from a set called like the Love Bug set from

flora & fauna and I only wanted to stamp at four times so what I'm doing

instead of actually rotating the piece of cardstock every

corner I'm rotating it twice I'm missing a corner if it makes sense I found the

easiest way for me to remember it, was to keep the cardstock facing the same way.

So that meant if the cardstock here was facing like a diamond I knew I was in

the right place. now this is going to affect any stamping that I do

right around the edges now because half the edge is done in one thing and

half is done in another I did come in and stamp a full circle of leaves that

was easy enough because that was in the center but these other images that I'm

now out adding I can only do them on every second turn so this time I'm

keeping my cardstock facing like a square and that way I know I'm not going

to stamp over any of the other images that I've already stamped this was

really easy to do and so instead of actually building a wreath what I'm

doing is building a focal point in the center of a card panel it was really

easy and fun and the template itself it's like a stencil kind of material so

it just wiped clean so I did do my stamping with the onyx black ink today

because I wanted to do some water coloring and I thought it's about time I

got my Zigs out it's been an age because uh I've been using the altenew water

brush markers and I'm loving them I love the vividness of the color and they are

actually really easy to use I think they're probably a little bit easier to

use than the Zigs, but I'm out to lunch on that one, I do like the colors

of the Zig's I think I'm sitting here impatiently waiting for some new

colors from Altenew may be I need to give him a nudge... so these colors will be

listed at my blog I'm doing just some really

simple water coloring here laying down my colors then adding water to blend the

one thing I do like about water brush markers is they dry so quickly it makes

it easy it's not like when you're doing a proper watercolor and you've got to

wait for things to really really dry this I find I use less water with them

and it works well for my own patience you might notice that I tend to actually

add my colors so I'll have the lighter color and then come in with a little bit

of a darker color before I blend them and I definitely work in really small

areas I don't let my I don't like I can't do a large area with any of the

water brush markers at a time I find that they just dry too quickly and

they're too hard to move and one other big tip is if you're not having any luck

with water brush markers change your card stock try something else because

some card stocks especially like watercolor card stock the color doesn't

move at all it's it's just hard work and coloring is not meant to be hard work

it's meant to be fun and someone needs to tell me is this the squirrel? a possum?

could be a possum because I was thinking maybe it's a fox no I'm thinking it's

a possum someone smarter than me will know! so like I said this is no longer

a wreath the images aren't all coordinating perfectly around the edges

well they are coordinating, there is a pattern but you don't sort of look at it

and see exactly the same pattern and I think that by adding the wash of color

in the background that kind of gets rid of some of that wreathiness, wreathy look

as well it makes it really focus on that focal point I'm using some peacock

feathers it's a distress ink and I find that any of these distress inks are a

really easy way to add quick wash for a background-color and

they dry fairly quickly although I did actually use quite a bit more water on

this portion of the watercolour I wasn't sure what color to do those flowers

until the end that's why I left them I couldn't make up my mind do you ever do

that? alright so for my sentiment I'm using my Misti tool again because after all

this work I don't want to muck it up and I'm glad I did so I'd pre-stamped my

sentiment it's a couple of sets from altenew one was the inked rose and one

was the flower vine and i cut them out of a piece of scrap paper and then set

them in the center, that way I knew exactly where I wanted them to sit on my

panel and then I just lined up my stamp and then picked it up how easy was that

and I'm glad I use my misti as I did need to stamp it twice the second

portion of the sentiment is too long what's that mean? yes I want to

selectively stamp it so I used my acetate to protect my card panel picked

it up with the lid and then I'm going to mask off the piece that I don't want to

stamp out which actually says hugs I don't want to say sending you hugs hugs

I just want to say sending you hugs. so after I've added ink I did remove my post-it note

mask and then I can just stamp it out now I did want to add another filler

flower from the stamp sets and the reason I didn't add this before is it

because I wanted to stamp it with the skylight ink from Catherine Pooler and

it's a water-based ink and that would have interfered with my water coloring

now my panel didn't warp very much but I did find I had this palpitations if I

didn't use my magnet to hold it in place

while I stamped and then I added a piece of fun foam to the back of the panel and

popped it up on the front of a top fold card no! on a side fold card so this

was a top fold card that I cut down so this will actually still fit in a

regular envelope or I could actually use a square envelope if I prefer and I

haven't used twine in a little while and I like a bit of a twine bow and this is

a really nice fine one and I haven't linked this twine to anywhere so if

anyone can find it and let me know that would be great

I haven't been able to locate it but some Darice natural twine it's very

pretty so if you liked this video please like it and if you haven't already I

would love it if you would subscribe to my channel and be back again real soon

for my next video till then happy papercrafting bye

'Solskjaer to be handed the Man Utd job permanently' - Sutton reveals major update - Duration: 3:13.

The Norwegian chief has been a revelation at Old Trafford. He recorded United's ninth win in 10 after the Red Devils edged past Leicester 1-0 this afternoon

Sutton reckons Solskjaer staying at the Theatre of Dreams might be a done deal. He wrote on Twitter: "BBC606 Sources suggesting Solskjaer to be handed the Man Utd job permanently…" Solskjaer isn't only manager in the frame for the top job

Express Sport understands United bigwigs remain keen on Mauricio Pochettino and Zinedine Zidane

Speaking after United's win over the Foxes today, Solskjaer said his team can reach another level

"We know we can play better, but you can't play fantasy football all the time," he said

"We fought for our mates next to us, we put our heads on the line, we put our bodies on the line

"It was a great defensive performance from within the box." The Foxes were unlucky not to steal a draw after some impressive passages of play

Solskjaer was quick to praise goalkeeper David de Gea after another eye-catching performance from the Spain international

"Leicester got in a few dangerous positions, David de Gea made a few great saves and blocks," he added

"We could have done better higher up the pitch in terms of defending but we deserved the three points I thought

"David [de Gea] is very patient in his positioning and reads the game very well - he doesn't gamble

"That pass by Paul Pogba is great and the control by Marcus better. "Football is a game of mistakes

Our lads, when we make mistakes, they were fighting for the ball and giving their all

" United forward Rashford insists he is still looking to improve after finding a new lease of life under Solskjaer

"We keep trying to improve," Rashford explained. "The last result [2-2 draw against Burnley] wasn't what we wanted and we need to improve

"It was a different game with difficult challenges so to get the win was very good

"Time and time again Paul Pogba provides opportunities for the team. If we can get him free he'll find you

"I don't think anyone grows up wanting to be just a striker nowadays. "The game's changed and you want to be able to play everywhere - left, right, number 10

My career so far has helped me in that."

10 Weirdest Street Foods In The World - Duration: 4:20.

10 Weirdest Street Foods In The World.

Number 10.

Prepared from the Greenland shark, hakarl is a popular street food in Iceland, and is

extremely poisonous when eaten raw.

To prepare it, the shark is placed in a grave and is covered with stones for 3-4 months.

Then the shark is cut into strips and allowed it to remain dry for months before serving

on the plate.

Number 9.

Andouillette is probably the stinkiest dish you will ever taste it in your life.

Prepared from pig intestines, onions, wines and different seasonings the dish is famous

in the French markets.

The pig intestines are crammed into a sausage, fried up and covered in mustard sauce.

So, are you in the mood for tasting this stinky dish??

Number 8.

Winkles are a stylish dish and very popular in the streets of England.

Collect these winkles from the beach and use in the meal you will prepare for the evening.

Dip the winkles into mustard, mayonnaise or hot butter to make it taste better.

You will mainly find the winkles on the coast of England.

Number 7.

Meat is the favorite dish of the Philippines, almost every part of it is used in dishes

in one way or another.

Isaw is the pork intestine, but before you make a weird face, let us tell you that meat

is cleaned inside out a number of times and then prepared with the sauces.

So, give it a try to this not so tempting dish on the streets of Philippines whenever

you go.

Number 6.

Tuna eyeball.

Even though the name sounds very creepy, the dish is quite tasty and resembles an octopus.

The dish is prepared in no time.

Simply boil and season it with soya sauce, garlic and other seasonings which you like.

While walking on the streets in Japan you can't avoid tasting it.

Number 5.

Another weird street food on the list is the juicy worms that are said to be full of meat.

The Mopane Worm is the favorite snack of the Zimbabwe locals.

The worms are collected from trees and then they are fried.

The Mopane worms are first rehydrated and then served with chili sauce.

Travelers say that it is worth tasting!

Number 4.

Balut looks like a normal hard-boiled egg, so is there anything weird about it?

Yes, the developing duck embryo is boiled alive in its shell.

It looks really weird and savage but is a popular street food in the Philippines.

The dish is served with beers.

If you plan a trip to the Philippines, are you ready for this scrumptious dish?

Number 3.

In Italy, Casu Marzu is a rare cheese dish that is prepared using the larvae of flies.

This traditional Sardinian dish is actually sheep's milk cheese famous for live insect

larvae.

While there are some who kills the insect and keep in the refrigerator before consuming,

there are some who loves eating the living larvae.

Number 2.

While wandering the streets in Thailand, you can serve yourself with the good source of

protein, but the most popular street snack among people

here is the fried giant water beetle.

Also known as maeng da, these water beetles are nearly 3-4 inches long and are fried in

oil with chili peppers and then eaten like potato chips.

Number 1.

You may find oysters strange, but these rocky mountain oysters are unique as they are not

at all oysters.

Instead, they are sheep, or pig testicles coated in flour and then deep fried to enhance

the taste.

But you will find it great as a part of an animal is used in a tasty way, otherwise it

would have been wasted.

✅ Hair Update | Stage 18 | I'm Cutting it Off in March - Duration: 8:57.

- Hey guys, and welcome back to my channel.

My name's Thomas, if yo are brand new here,

and I make style and hair related videos

every single week here on YouTube.

So if that's your kinda thing,

make sure you hit the subscribe button,

and come back and visit me every week.

Today is check-in number 18,

and not only am I checking in after a small break,

you're probably wondering what the hell

is with the title of this video

about me possibly cutting all my hair off in March.

And this might actually be happening,

and the one thing that depends on

whether I go through with it or not,

is actually you guys, okay.

So I now that sounds weird,

but I'll explain a little bit more of it in a minute

and how you guys are in control of that, ah.

(dog barking)

Cleo's just barking her tits off.

Yep, that's right.

I'll explain a little bit about it

a little bit later to you guys,

how you're in control of that

and ultimately how it's gonna be your decision.

But yeah, stay tuned,

and we'll get through it.

So back to the check-in.

I missed January's check-in,

simply because New Year's time is just so busy.

I think everyone can relate to that.

Don't even get me started.

And I filmed a batch of videos at different times with Kim

because he was going to get married,

and I mean, I couldn't not upload,

if you know what I mean.

I like to have everything going.

So if any of you've been wondering

why my facial hair is constantly changing,

that's exactly why.

Anyway, picking up from where we left off.

In my last check-in, I'd been to the hairdresser

to have a whopping 1.5 inches taken off the end of my hair.

The ends were getting so frazzly,

and I was really whingeing about it a lot.

So it had to stop.

And yeah, I just went and got a trim,

which left me with a length on the bottom here

of about 13.5 inches,

and now we're in February

and it's sitting about 15.5.

So that's roughly two inches of growth

over the months that I kinda skipped out.

Like January and all of December.

I did a check-in at the beginning of December,

and yeah, I missed January.

So now we're checking in with February,

and I've had two inches of growth,

which to me, that sounds about right.

And I'm not complaining about that, but yeah.

It's just weird, 'cause now that I've actually reached

the part that I wanted to get to,

like when I was growing my hair out

this was kind of my goal in the beginning.

So now when I think of it,

I'm like, I'm not really too concerned

about too much more length on it

because yeah, it's long, and I don't know.

But I still understand the importance

of doing these check-ins and stuff,

because especially for you guys that are still

on this long winding road of growing your hair out.

I want you guys to be able to stay strong

and commit to your goal, like I did.

So you can live the dream of having long hair.

And that is why I keep doing these check-ins.

Anyway, so moving forward,

cutting all of my hair off.

I know, it's a scary thought right?

But there is a really good reason,

and I presume most of you know already

who The Long Hairs are, right?

So The Long Hairs, they make these really cool

men's hair ties, really really good guys,

and I've been chatting to El Rubio for a while now

about the Great Cut,

and after looking into what it's all about,

it kinda made me feel like

it would actually be worth cutting my hair off.

So if you haven't yet heard of the Great Cut,

here is why I'm considering chopping all my hair off.

Number one, all the hair at this event

that gets donated, including mine,

if I actually get it cut,

will be made into a human hair wig

for kids who struggle with alopecia, cancer,

and all of these other medical conditions

that cause hair loss.

And then number two, The Long Hairs,

they wanna break a world record

for the most amount of hair ever donated,

and I think they need about 200 pounds to do that.

200 pounds of hair, it's crazy.

And I think they're looking at getting

two thousand donors or something like that,

because if you think of 200 pounds of hair,

I think that's a thousand, that's a tonne,

like that's literally a tonne of hair.

Can you imagine how much that is?

I don't even think my hair weighs that much.

Anyhoo, so when I read about the challenge,

I kind of cringed at first

because I am so obsessed with my hair

and it's almost borderline ridiculous,

and second to that,

it's like the one asset that I feel like I have

that allows me to say who I am

without actually needing to say it.

But then on second thought,

I kinda thought about all the kids

that actually don't even have the luxury

of being able to grow their hair long,

and even grow it at all,

and some of them get brutally bullied and alienated

in the school playground

for a condition that they can't even control,

and that really doesn't sit right with me.

I despise the idea

that that shit even happens.

That kids are getting bullied for things like this.

I'm not sure how many of you are aware of this

but when we're young, like three to seven,

this is really important to me as well,

we're super impressionable as children,

so the world around us helps shape who we are

and our confidence as an adult.

And I think that's why it is rally important,

'cause I like everybody to feel confident in themselves,

and these young kids are not only

dealing with extreme health conditions,

but the impact that it'll more than likely have on them

when they're adults,

could be catastrophic for them.

You know what I mean?

Like in future,

and they're just young innocent kids

in a playground right now.

And we're talking like suicide, mental health,

all the things that nobody

really wants to think or talk about,

and that thought actually made me really angry

and sort of drove this behaviour for me

to want to go and do this thing.

So yeah, after deeper thinking

I though fuck it.

If I could cut all of my hair off,

thankfully which grows back,

to help make at least one kid's life in the playground

a little bit more enjoyable,

and have a better impact on them as an adult,

then why the fuck not?

You know, like why the fuck not?

Anyway, I'm all for it,

and this is where you guys come in.

So obviously I'm not a loaded bazillionaire,

and I do need a way to get

my Australian arse over to San Diego

to attend the great Cut.

And I have set up a Go Fund Me page,

which you can find in the description box below.

Now if I can't raise enough money to go to the Great Cut,

it's simple, I just can't go,

because I literally out of my own pocket can't afford it.

So it kind of leaves my fate in your guys' hands,

and it really depends on whether you guys

wanna see me participate in an amazing event like this.

Now I only have a month to do this,

so I need to raise enough money in a month's time,

and here's the upside to if I go to the Great Cut.

One, I get to meet a shit tonne of you who are also attending,

and we can talk some major hair.

B, my hair will be donated into a wig

for a young child that they can wear in the playground,

and we can also do this check-in process all over again,

which I'm kind of excited about,

because I've gotta cut a decent amount off.

C, I'll also be documenting the entire experience,

and doing a live stream of when I actually get my hair cut.

So it's pretty exciting but scary to think about

at the same time.

Now moving on to that,

if I'm gonna get donations,

you're probably also wondering how much do I have to raise.

And essentially the total amount that I really need

is 2500 Australian dollars.

So I think that converts to about 2000 USD.

And what I've done is

I've calculated the budget

so I can just travel on the skintiest amount of money

to just get me by.

Literally just to cover the costs

of accommodation, flights, and food

so I can survive, you know what I mean?

There's not gonna be no luxury on this holiday.

If you even would call it a holiday.

If you're curious to see the outline as well,

obviously I have to do that in a Go Fund Me page,

but yeah, I've outlined all the money

and how it's gonna be spent,

and created a complete breakdown

of all the expenses and where I plan to spend the money

while I'm there, so you can see it.

It's all open and it's up to you.

The link's in the description box, alright.

And if you do donate money,

and I don't end up making the full budget

to get over to San Diego,

the money I do get given

will just be going straight to the charity

that creates the wigs anyways.

But I'd much prefer to actually

get my arse over there and participate,

rather than watch from the sidelines

and be a boring Betty.

(laughs)

I did also think about it as well,

the amount of you that watch these videos,

if only 2500 of you donated a dollar each,

it would actually get me there and be enough.

So how crazy's that?

So the choice is in your hands.

Will I cut my hair?

Or will I not cut my hair.

It's a pretty scary thought,

and yeah, if you wanna get behind me and support this,

the link will be in the description box for you,

and yeah, you can get all the details there.

But I'd really like to meet a lot of you guys as well,

and participate not only in this Great Cut thing,

but be able to meet you,

and also be able to collaborate with The Long Hairs,

because they're also another really big personality

in this long hair space,

and it would be really cool

to be able to make content like that.

So if you wanna see it, get behind me,

and yeah, do the thing.

And other than that,

I don't really have much more to share with you

on the hair growth front.

That's pretty much it.

It's like, I'm gonna cut it off maybe.

(laughs)

I'm still super happy with how it's looking though.

By the way actually, do you like my curls today?

I've been seeing so many comments from you guys as well

asking why I haven't been rocking my curls lately.

And the reason is just 'cause,

because I don't know.

Sometimes I like having straight hair.

But I thought I'd get them out today

and you know, do a little something something with them.

Let me know what you think about them

in the comment section below,

and thanks so much for coming back and watching.

Like always, let me know how you're going

with your growing out process

in the comment section below,

and where you're at with the journey.

Did you cave?

Or are you still strong?

You tell me.

And I guess I'll see you in the next video, okay.

Have a good day, I'll catch you later, bye.

Fans noticed Jamie Vardy's reaction when he saw Claude Puel talking to Pogba at FT - Duration: 2:26.

Leicester City may have taken a point from Liverpool on Wednesday but they were beaten by Manchester United at the King Power Stadium on Sunday

Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game in the eighth-minute as Claude Puel's side once again went behind earlier

But, unlike at Anfield, the Foxes just couldn't respond.  Leicester pushed for an equaliser but just couldn't find a way past David de Gea in the United goal

At the end of the day, Leicester have now picked up just one point in their previous four league matches

And when you remember that they crashed out of the FA Cup last month at the hands of Newport County, frustrations are running high at the moment

And striker Jamie Vardy appeared to let those frustrations get the better of him at full-time it seems

At the final whistle, Leicester boss Puel was seen deep in conversation with compatriot Paul Pogba

And fans spotted Vardy's reaction.  Many Twitter users think Vardy saw Puel talking to Pogba and muttered to his teammates "why's he talking to them, k***head

" "WHY'S HE TALKING TO THEM?."  Take a look:  Never change, Vardy.  Leicester have now dropped down to 11th in the Premier League and Puel was ruing his side's missed chances against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side at full-time

"The first feeling at the end was a question: "How can we lose this game?" It is a big shame and big disappointment after this game," he said

"We have had a lot of chances without finding the good clinical edge.  "I think we made a bad start again

Perhaps this time we expected too much from this team, I don't know."We had the first good ball to make a good counter attack but often we played too laterally or behind and it was a shame because we often we made the difference in good situations to shoot or cross, and we didn't take our responsibility

Royal bombshell: Why Prince Charles once asked 'Shall I go gay?' - Duration: 2:00.

Presenter Jeremy Paxman lifted the lid on the turbulent love lives of the Queen's four children, Charles, Anne, Andrew and Edward, in the Channel 5 show

Paxman On The Queen's Children airs on Tuesday and sees the University Challenge host interviewing royal friends and insiders

The former Newsnight presenter talks to Broderick Munro-Wilson, a friend of Charles who claims that neither Anne nor the heir to the throne were "shrinking violets"

The two discuss a newspaper story of the time about "potential brides" in Europe for Charles, all of whom the heir reportedly showed little interest in

Mr Munro-Wilson said: "I thought the only possibility was Caroline of Monaco." He also revealed that Prince Charles joked: "Shall I go gay?" He added: "We all roared with laughter and moved on

" He later says: "They [Anne and Charles] had a jolly good time. They had a lot of fun

" Paxman probes: "Anne too?" Mr Munro-Wilson replies: "She wasn't a stuffy old thing

"I wouldn't want anyone to think they were shrinking violets. Either of them." Prince Andrew doesn't escape attention either

Paxman reveals a little known recording by a 14-year-old Coleen Nolan, of girl pop group The Nolans, in which she declares her love for Andrew

She serenades the Prince with the words: "Andy, I love you." Prince Edward may also cringe at the sight of another re-run of his much-maligned It's A Royal Knockout TV show

The one-off charity extravaganza saw members of the Royal Family compete alongside celebrities from the worlds of sport, music and TV in a series of wacky challenges and events

Toyah Willcox, who took part, reveals that the press took against the show because Edward forced them to stay inside a tent to report on the antics outside

Paxman On The Queen's Children, Channel 5, Tuesday, 9pm

Royal Wedding 2019: Is THIS why Lady Gabriella Windsor is COPYING Meghan's wedding - Duration: 2:26.

Royal wedding 2019 will see the Royal Family gain a new member - Thomas Kingston

The financier will be marrying Lady Gabriella Windsor, the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent

Despite being 51 people away from the throne, her wedding will be held in the same place as Meghan and Harry's much-anticipated affair in May last year

This won't be the only similarity to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex however, as they will also have their reception at Frogmore House in Windsor

Royal Weddings naturally take place at some of the most spectacular locations in the country

Most royals will either hold their ceremonies at Windsor Castle or Westminster Cathedral

So Lady Gabriella was almost guaranteed to have a wedding with striking similarities to previous occasions

Unlike Meghan and Harry's wedding, Lady Gabriella and Thomas Kingston are having a strictly family affair, with no members of the public invited

One aspect of her wedding is deliberately similar to both Harry and Eugenie's though; the reception at Frogmore House

A spokesman from Buckingham Palace said Frogmore House held a "personal resonance" with Lady Gabriella

The Duke and Duchess of Kent - Lady Gabriella's grandparents - are both buried at the house

She is also said to regularly Christmas at the location.  Who is Lady Gabriella? As 51st in line to the throne, Lady Gabriella is a minor royal and naturally spends a lot less time in the spotlight

But she is still very much a traditional royal and was born at St Mary's Hospital, the same place where Prince Harry, William and Prince William's children have all been born

Her father is Prince Michael of Kent, who is a first cousin of Queen Elizabeth.  Lady Gabriella is not a working royal, having chosen instead to work for brand platform Branding Latin America where she is the Senior Director

She has participated in official royal duties too though, according to TIME Magazine journalist and former boyfriend Aatish Taseer

Lady Gabriella also spends her time as a Board Director for the Playing For Change Foundation, and Toucan Ventures - which offers support for creative entrepreneurs

She was engaged to Thomas Kingston last year in August, who was once known as the most eligible bachelor in London

【ENG Sub】UNIQLO Tryon Haul|超大型优衣库试穿|What I ordered from UNIQLO - Duration: 14:09.

Hello, this is Helen Aby

And welcome to my channel. For those who are new, just let you know

that I am doing unboxing videos on some fashion brands

so please subscribe me if you like

so today I am going to show you guys what I bought from UNIQLO

which is a very popular Japanese fashion clothing brand

I used to relate the UNIQLO clothing with business casual

most of their items are good for office ladies or men

because the styles are kind of classic ones

because the styles are kind of classic ones

and those styles are very appropriate for business occasions

sometimes

they will do some collaboration with some manga or games companies

but those carton-co-op's quality and fabrics are more "stiff" than what are expected to be

but those carton-co-op's quality and fabrics are more "stiff" than what are expected to be

husband: it pronounces "u-ni-ku-lo"

Me: it should be "you-yi-ku" (Chinese pinyin)

husband: please speak English

Me: come on, u-ni-ku-lo is actual Japanese pronouciation

Me: and it pronounces u-ni-klo in English...I guess

the first piece is a classic water-proof jacket

kind of khaki fabric

but it is not that thick

it feels like a blouse

I think that one is, like, a must-have for central-heater or AC

I think that one is, like, a must-have for central-heater or AC

you can wear it, indoor or outdoor, either in early spring or summer

you can wear it, indoor or outdoor, either in early spring or summer

the length of that is so proper

that it covers my wide upper butt

that it covers my wide upper butt

and there is strap in the waist line

but I probably would not tie it

as usual, in my opinion

I have some prejudice on that "old-school" look...shame on me

Me: got it? Husband: old school in a good way? Me:...

I like the hood. you know, I was living in Shanghai and it is raining all the time

I appreciate that design

talking about the size I am wearing

in most cases, I will choose extra small for UNIQLO clothing

in most cases, I will choose extra small for UNIQLO clothing

in most cases, I will choose extra small for UNIQLO clothing

for some over size looks, I would choose small

let's see how it looks on me

wow the fabric is...cool

yes it feels cool

very comfortable

let me zip it up

Me: looks good?

the second one is a jean jacket ( oh it is for men)

sometimes

we think it is improper to wear denim at work

yes, it depends on the style

I mean, even the fabric is regarded as " casual"

but the cutting is very structural ...or let's say classic

and I chose a darker color

ohhh

it is so soft

why?

so soft and light

I like it

see the details

I have to say I appreciate that most Japanese clothing are very subtle

and most are affordable

and most are affordable

besides outwear, I have some tees to show

a Disney co-op

there was Marvel ones before

but I failed to get those in my size

I liked that one at first sight

see the pen

it is a completed pen!

it is a completed pen!

it is a completed pen!

not just the upper part of a pen

not that childish one

and the fabric is good

I think that round necks make face skinny

for me as round face shape

Husband: your face shape is like a Chinese burrito

Husband: your face shape is like a Chinese burrito

Husband: your face shape is like a Chinese burrito

actually, the v-neck can't do a good job on contouring my face shape

actually, the v-neck can't do a good job on contouring my face shape

actually, the v-neck can't do a good job on contouring my face shape

and eventually I figured out round neck is the very one for me

and eventually I figured out round neck is the very one for me

I was worrying about the graphic tees might be too childish for me

I was worrying about the graphic tees might be too childish for me

I was worrying about the graphic tees might be too childish for me

I was worrying about the graphic tees might be too childish for me

but I would like to give a try on this classic Micky tee

the graphic is not that large

and this one is for men

because I didn't find that in the women area

and I confirmed with a sales working at the UNIQLO

that men size is one size up more than women

that men size is one size up more than women

I mean, like me wearing size of extra small, when choosing a men cloth there,

I should size up to small

so I was recommended a xxs for that one

it can go with that denim jacket

it can go with that denim jacket

I would like wear khaki pants at the bottom

( I actually was wearing a mini skirt)

kind of graphic designer look

kind of graphic designer look

kind of graphic designer look

kind of graphic designer look

one co-op with snoopy

the peanut

look at that snoopy is playing skateboard

I would like to wear mini skirt with it ( I actually was wearing jeans)

I would like to wear mini skirt with it ( I actually was wearing jeans)

I think that one is good for team building

or BBQ party with co-workers

another similar style tee

such pink and blue are the colors of spring

such pink and blue are the colors of spring

such pink and blue are the colors of spring

and here is the last tee

the fabric is more like sleepwear

I am not sure if it looks shapeless on me

or I can just wear it as a sleepwear

looks cozy

those pair of pants caught my eyes

the cutting is good

I do have a lot fat at the butt part

and sometimes a wide pants doesn't work for me

and just makes it worse

such structural cutting pants

can solve my problem

the back waist band is elastic

and my legs are bloated easily

especially at afternoon, it feels like I need a larger size of pants

comparing with the ones I was wearing in the morning

elastic band is a good choice

and the front part is inelastic

so that the pants look kind of professional style

so that the pants look kind of professional style

so that the pants look kind of professional style

the inseam is wide enough

that makes me comfortable when moving

it is actual a legging pants

because it is with no zip

I was worrying about the lady part would shown in such style pants

I was worrying about the lady part would shown in such style pants

Me: how about men's thinking?

Me: how about men's thinking?

the model was tucking the top in it

it doesn't show the lady area

so

I think it works for me as well

the size was extra small

I am usually wearing jeans at size 24-25

I am usually wearing jeans at size 24-25

let me see if the size is correct for me

let me see if the size is correct for me

as it is stretchy , I just don't want it turn out be larger after wearing several times

I rarely wear midi skirt

I rarely wear midi skirt

the buttons at the middle area

can visually make up my outstanding stomach

can visually make up my outstanding stomach

can visually make up my outstanding stomach

can visually make up my outstanding stomach

can visually make up my outstanding stomach

can visually make up my outstanding stomach

the skirt is lined

with the same color

I will appreciate those skirts with

I will appreciate those skirts with

one: lined

two: pockets

and I got another color of this

polka dot pattern

polka dot pattern

Me: got it?

either can go with the tees I showed you just now

and also can go with this shirt

I usually will not buy shirts or blouses at UNIQLO

when I was just graduated from university

in china

there was brand called "G2000"

kind of iconic clothing for office lady

they are just

way too business

and for this shirt

it is 3/4 sleeves

you know, you can get sleeves stained easily at office

3/4 sleeves can solve the problem

especially for women don't wear sleeve buttons as men do

there is a button deco at the front

very tiny one

and see the back of its collar

I like that draped design

that can show the neck when making a bun or pig tail

that can show the collar when making a bun or pig tail

that can show the neck when making a bun or pig tail

you definitely can be the back-image-killer

with that collar

that is the only dress I bought this time

a polka dot

a pinky beige

it can go with all the jackets

it can go with all the jackets

the denim one

I will wear this one as a trench itself

it is good for late spring

or early summer

so stylish

and a strap in the waistline

an active bra

as I am doing some workout to lose weight

and I hadn't purchased active wear from them

there are some tiny breathing holes

there are some tiny breathing holes

Me: do men have such sweating cleavage problem?

Husband: Men do not wear bra

I may not try on this in this video (it runs small actually)

welcome back

I did try a lot items today

actually

I did not expect such high quality with that low prices

I am so impressed surprisedly

and again, please subscribe me

if you like watching my Tyron haul videos

so see you next time

High Blood Pressure Control Food (What Foods Reduce Blood Pressure Naturally) - Duration: 13:42.

Hello, if you've got stubborn high blood pressure

despite the fact that you are taking medication

and you are still having difficulty controlling your blood pressure

Well, I've got a nice suggestion for you

There's a specific group of foods you should be eating

These foods are not unfamiliar to you

I should say

However, even though you are eating them, you might be making 3 essential mistakes

And I'm going to tell you about these foods

the 3 mistakes you're making

and how to fix them, more importantly

That's what's coming up next. Stay tuned and I''ll see you after the Channel Intro...

Hello, Welcome back. I'm Dr Joe of TheDrJoe.com

So, if you're having difficulty controlling your blood pressure despite the fact that you're taking medications

I've got one strategy for you today that you can employ

that will help you to lower your blood pressure

What's this strategy? The strategy is that you may need to tweak your diet just a little bit

And what's this tweak?

The tweak is that you need to include foods that are high in Nitrates

Yes, foods that are high in Nitrates

So, we are going to be talking about Nitrate-rich foods for high blood pressure

You can get a good amount of nitrates from

Animal-based products as well as Plant-based products

Before you rush off to your nearest supermarket

and buy up all of these foods

and start guzzling them up

There's one distinction that you need to be aware of

And this distinction is very very important

So, let's talk about this distinction first

Before we move on to the rest of the presentation, shall we?

Yes, there's a distinction between the Nitrates in animal foods and the Nitrates in plant foods

If you are going to be eating foods that are high in Nitrates...

then it makes sense for you to be aware of this distinction

because you want to be sure you are not doing any harm to your health

by eating foods that are high in Nitrates

You want to be sure you are getting benefits rather than any harm

So, this distinction is important

What is this distinction between nitrates in animal foods and nitrates in plant foods?

What I am about to say as far as this distinction is concerned

has nothing to do with bashing meat eater

I just want to say this upfront because

listening to this, you might think I'm bashing meat eaters

I eat meat, myself

so, I am not in any way, shape or form promoting Vegan agenda here

This is just talking about the research as far as Nitrate conversion is concerned

I just want to make that clear

Now when the nitrate in the food

mixes withe saliva in the mouth

and it hits the stomach

It gets converted to Nitrites

There are 2 potential pathways for the Nitrites

One is that, it is thought that the

Nitrite from animal sources

potentially gets converted to Nitrosamines

And that's because of the presence of heme and other proteins in the animal product

and that is a problem

On the other hand

The Nitrates in plants

because of the presence of antioxidants like Vitamin C and Polyphenols

gets converted to Nitric Oxide

Okay, so 2 potential pathways

One gets converted to Nitrosamines

and that happens with nitrates from animal products

in particular, processed meat

and that is potentially carcinogenic

whereas Plant nitrates get converted to Nitric Oxide

because of the presence of antioxidants

It then begs the question...

Which of these Nitrates should you be eating?

Which of these foods should you be eating?

Well, it sort of makes sense...

that you should be eating Plant-derived Nitrates

because it gets converted to Nitric Oxide

We need Nitric oxide for a variety of reasons

Why is this Nitric oxide important?

Nitric oxide actually relaxes the blood vessel walls

That means it reduces stiffness of the arteries

which means the blood will flow through unimpeded

Notric oxide is also known to inhibit platelet aggregation

What does this mean?

It means it reduces the stickiness of your blood

So the blood is thinner

Nitric oxide also preserves the function of the lining of the blood vessel wall

what we call, the endothelium

When this happens, by so doing

It prevents furring of the blood vessels

Nitric oxide also enhances exercise performance

which translates from the things I talked about earlier on

Ultimately what we want

from the Nitric oxide

is that it should reduce our High Blood Pressure

and this is what it does it actually relaxes the blood vessel wall

reducing the stiffness of the blood vessel

That's what we want because this talk is about blood pressure reduction

So, what foods are high in Nitrates?

that we should be eating. That's a very good question

because we've talked about avoiding the Nitrate-rich animal products

So we should be concentrating on Nitrate-rich Plant foods

And here are the foods that are high

in Nitrates that we shhould be concentrating on

Arugula is one of them

What we call Wild Rocket in the UK

Spinach. It's a beautiful one. I love it

Lettuce

Radish

Beetroot

Lovely beetroot

Chinese cabbage

Rhubarb

Cilantro

Swiss Chard

Basil

These are some of the foods that are high in Nitrates

Plant foods that are high in nitrates

We don't want to be talking about processed meat and all that

because as I discussed earlier

potentially, they are carcinogenic

we want to be concentrating on plant-based foods that are high in nitrates

Yes, something that I need to point out is

that I am actually a patient as well as a doctor

in the sense that I actually do suffer from high blood pressure

but I try to control my blood pressure

with all of these strategies that I talk about in my channel

Talking about those foods

Well, I've got them in the house

here's one. That's Rocket

Arugula

Spinach here

These are the foods that I eat

Got radish

We've got Lettuce here

Last but not the least, I've got beetroot here

So, the idea behind this is that;

I actually practice what I preach

I'm not just telling to eat those foods when I don't eat them myself

I actually do eat these foods myself

Then you might be asking the question:

I actually eat these foods and my blood pressure is still high, it's not controlled. Why are you telling me this?

Here's the thing: You're probably

making 3 essential mistakes

What are these essential mistakes?

One of them is that...

You are not eating these foods regularly and consistently

You have to eat these foods consistently

everyday

You should see them like your blood pressure medication, if you like

Just like you take your blood pressure medication everyday

You should eat these foods everyday

That's mistake No 1

Mistake No 2 is that...

You are probably not eating enough of them

You're not eating enough of these foods

Then you might be asking: how much of it eat should I eat?

Let me tell how much...next

Dr Joe, you said I should be eating plant foods that are high in nitrates...

So, how much dietary nitrates do I actually need to reduce my high blood pressure

This has been studied

on beetroot

Research has shwon (and this was a very serious research)

that you need 8 Units of beet juice

I'm not referring to the processed shop-bought beetroot juice

8 units was needed to reduce blood pressure satisfactorily

The next is: what is a unit of dietary nitrate?

1 unit is actually 62 mg

What is 62 mg as far as food is concerned

I'll translate that for you here

In terms of food, 1 serving of Nitrate-rich food

(from that list that I talked about earlier on)

1 serving will give you 2 units

If you remember, we talked about 8 units. that is the sweetspot that we need to reduce our blood pressure satisfactorily

So we need 8 units

1 serving is 2 units. It means we need 4 servings of those foods per day

for us to actually reduce our blood pressure

And that is based on research as well

To make things even simpler

this research here has given us a table

If you follow the table, it helps a lot. It simplifies everything

and I'll hand-over to dr Greger

He's explained it a little bit further here

Well, I hope what Dr Greger and I have said

has actually clarified the situation for you

The essential Take-Home message is...

you should be aiming to eat 8 units of these Nitrate-rich foods per day

That's all you need. Just 8 units

so, that mistake No 2 fixed

Now let's talk about mistake No 3

Mistake No 3 is you're probably not chewing the foods long enough

and that's costing you the end product because

at the end of the day, the end product we want is Nitric oxide

So the longer the food spends in your mouth

you chewing it, the saliva mixing up with the food

the more of these Nitric oxide we're going to get

as an end product from the nitrate-rich foods

So chew these foods properly

and by the time the food gets to the stomach

it should be in the Nitrite form

That way once it gets into the stomach

the acid in the stomach will help with the conversion of the Nitrite to Nitric Oxide

because that's what you're aiming for. You want

the nitric oxide to actually help you lower your blood pressure

So, you need to chew the food properly

Chew it for longer

I know we are in a hurry these days

but it helps to actually chew your food properly

That's mistake No 3 fixed.

For you and I, yeah

For you and I (For you and I)

For you and I (For you)

For you and I (For you)

For you and I

What a lie, what a lie

For you and I

What a lie, what a lie, what a lie

You clinged to my body like you wanted it forever

What a lie, what a lie, what a lie

And we stayed up for hours

I think of that night in the park, it was getting dark

What a time, what a time for you and I

What a time for you and I, yeah

What a time, what a time for you and I

For you and I

For you and I

For you and I

For you and I

What a time, what a time

For you and I

What a time, what a time, what a time

You clinged to my body like you wanted it forever

What a time, what a time, what a time

And we stayed up for hours

I think of that night in the park, it was getting dark

Oh, no, I still wanna reminisce it

Even though I know it's not so distant

I admit it that I think about it sometimes

I know we didn't make sense

I wonder if my mind just leaves out all the bad parts

And now we get a bit tense

I know we didn't end it like we're supposed to

For you and I

What a time, what a time

For you and I

What a time, what a time, what a time

You clinged to my body like you wanted it forever

What a time, what a time, what a time

And we stayed up for hours

I think of that night in the park, it was getting dark

Oh, no, I still wanna reminisce it

Even though I know it's not so distant

In a minute, but I think about it sometimes

I haven't been by your side

My throat is getting dry and my heart is racing

I guess that means you're close by

I feel a little nauseous and my hands are shaking
