Youtube daily report w Jan 20 2017

As always, the cowardly villain awaits within his lair.

But no steel walls can protect him from The Sil-

Quiet.

Aha!

We'll take the fiend by surprise, with a swift, stealthy strike from the shadows!

Not if you keep screaming.

Do you understand what's happening here Old chum?

I am confused, Shroud.

How did we come to be so far from the streets of Boston, where we are needed most?

Because, I always meant to bring Shaun here.

Someday.

When he's older.

And this place isn't suitable for children, yet.

We fight to make a better world for others to inherit.

Heroism must be its own reward, friend.

Yeah, "Mommy's a hero" Let's go kill one last bad guy, then go home.

*alarming beep*

Multiple enemies ahead.

He's got the cloning machine up and running.

They smell strange.

Not regular people smells.

Hey Vault Girl, sounds like he's got a bunch of defective clones in there with him.

I know.

I haven't seen this many naked weirdos in one room since my bachelorette party.

I don't see your cyborg guy anywhere.

Primary target isn't in sight.

And we don't even know what kind of ordnance he's packing.

A minigun...

Chambered in forty four magnum.

Daisy's old body?

When I first arrived in Nuka World, the Cyborg ambushed us.

He was disguised as a Hubologist, but I recognized his face... and the gun he used.

I only got away because he drew the attention of a bigger fish.

That was after I took Daisy's brain out of the gun.

Apparently guns don't need brains to work.

I am still a bad dog?

No. It's not your fault, sweetie.

Right?

ED-NA?

*responding beep*

I wanted to see how the...

D-O-G.. behaved in her new body before I told you all this.

We can trust her.

Your turn.

What happened in the Glowing Sea?

Now is not the time for more stories.

We need to revise our tactics.

Intel.

How you escaped is important.

How'd you trick him?

I didn't do anything.

When we went into the Glowing Sea, he didn't even bother with a radiation suit.

He thought his cybernetics would protect his organic brain from the radiation.

His clones got sick, then he started acting confused.

He didn't know I had my Ranger armor rad shielded, so I- I pretended I was just as sick as they

were.

When the clone guarding me stumbled-

I tried to grab Daisy, but her brain jar broke off from the rest of the gun.

I held on tight, and just ran into the dust, and kept running.

You saved me from the bad man.

I only got away because I was stronger than I looked.

Rangers are supposed to strike fear in the hearts of our enemies, not lull them into

a sense of false security.

Do you know the first thing I ever heard you say?

I dunno, probably "Shut up".

You're exactly as dangerous as I look.

But our cyborg is arrogant.

Can't see other people's strengths, or his own flaws.

We might be able to bait him...

Hey Vault Girl, you any good at getting under people's skin?

Blehhh...

Another dud.

What's wrong with this machine?

*smash*

"Garbage in. Garbage out" As they say, villain!

Boys, show me you're good for something!

You are all in violation of Nuka World hygiene regulations!

No shirt!

No shoes!

No MERCY!

Death has come for you all!

And I am its-

ERG!

Egad!

What will become of our... stalwart herrro?

Oh, a screaming robot with a machine gun.

That's a clever... distraction.

Oh, the little Overboss who got the doors open for me.

I was expecting that Ranger and her boyfriend.

Shouldn't you be out there running your raider gangs?

Decided to kill them all instead.

Turns out, I don't like raiders and slavers, and megalomaniacs who build armies of horribly

deformed monsters.

Bleargh?

Deformed except for you, honey.

Despite their flaws, my clones have you outnumbered a hundred to one.

And all you have is a freeze ray and a dog.

Put down your gun and I'll ask them to kill you quickly.

Hmm... Seems like your cloning machine isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Unless, it isn't a problem with the machine.

Could it be a problem with the DNA?

I'm perfect.

My DNA is pure strain human from the vault.

Been exposed to any radiation lately?

I-

Clones, synths, cyborgs.

When will you people learn that the only way to make life is the old fashioned way.

All of them...

failures!

Freaks!

None of you are worthy of me!

Wait for it...

Now.

A nice effort, Ranger but your plan had one fatal slip.

These old Sentrybots always overheat in combat.

Yup.

Leaves the fusion cores exposed.

Looks like you could still recover the brain, if the NCR wants to try again.

Oh he mighta gone on living-

Next time I take a vacation, I'm going somewhere exciting.

Does Las Vegas still exist?

Ladies and gentlemen, that is a wrap on Season 4 of the Fallout Storyteller.

We hope you've enjoyed your stay with us in this nerdy corner of the internet.

Special thanks to Courtenay Taylor and Wes Johnson for lending their voices for this

charity episode.

Anytime we get to collaborate with these folks it's an absolute honor.

Make sure to show them some love on twitter if you haven't already.

So… now...to answer the big question.

What's next?

That season finale had a little "finality" to it didn't it?

For those of you who have been with us for a while now, you know that we like to break

up seasons of the Storyteller with a hiatus where we outline and begin writing the next

season.

We're not doing that this time.

Nope.

We're going to go bigger.

For a while now we've been bouncing around the idea of making our very own machinima-style

Fallout movie.

What if we crafted our own lore and left it somewhere in the wasteland for our Storyteller

to uncover?

What if we allowed our elite team of level 80 Fallout nerds to build their own story.

That's the spirit of the RPG after all?

Crafting your own stories.

For those of you who have never seen the awesomeness that is Nuka Break, the art of fan fiction

has come a long way in the Fallout community.

We've dabbled here and there in the past.

For our next project, we want to dive all in and we would like to contribute our own spin to it.

As a matter of fact, we've already been working on this project.

For 2 months now.

Surprise.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you to

The Nuka Break of the Shoddycast, but you know, with machinima instead of live action

because that's what we do best.

And it's cheaper.

Much cheaper.

What we're going to do is take all the things we learned from making the Storyteller the

past 3 years and pump all those experience points into the most ambitious project our

team has ever undertaken.

Unlike regular seasons of the Storyteller though we're going to be filming it as a

movie that will be released first to Patreon donors, then broken up into parts and released

on YouTube for everyone to enjoy.

Working on this project is 2 writers, a film artist, a lore consultant, graphic artist,

a director, and a whole slew of voice actors.

What we'd like to add to that lineup is a set designer, animator, and original music

composer to mix some Fallout-inspired tracks for us.

Now I'm realist, so I know we can't really afford everyone I would hope to get on this

project.

But that's where you come in… if you want.

Today, if you visit Patreon, we added a ton of new rewards- and the best part is, they

are all linked directly to our new Fallout UNITY project.

Donate as little as $1/month and you'll not only help us make the best Fallout fan

film we can, but you'll get access to a ton of exclusive rewards that we put a lot

of thought into, such as bonus commentary, behind-the-scenes looks, and some Storyteller

audio logs to tide you over while you wait.

You guys have heaped a tremendous amount of support on us, and I hope you think we've

honored that with some pretty good content over the years.

If you want to donate some caps to our latest project I would be truly honored and humbled

by that, but as always, don't feel you need to.

The main content itself will always be free.

That is YouTube.

Merely clicking on our latest videos and rewatching old episodes helps our continued survival

as creators.

This will be the most ambitious projects the guys and I have undertaken yet, so we'll

announce a release date the moment we have a trailer to post on the Shoddycast.

In the meantime, do yourself the favor of subscribing if you haven't already and follow

us on Facebook and Twitter.

It helps keep you in the loop on our latest videos and upcoming projects.

Our Storyteller fans make this channel what it is, and for that we are truly and unabashedly

grateful.

Stay hungry.

Stay tuned.

And we'll see you for our next story to tell.

Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) – Arrivals, Ground Transport and Subway train to the City - Duration: 6:03.

Hipfig Travel Channel offers travel video

guides for more than 20 cities in Asia, US

and Canada. If you like our travel videos

subscribe to this channel to see more!

Welcome everyone to hipfig video guide

series on Boston. In this video we'll be

discussing the most convenient and

economical way to get from (Boston's)

Logan International Airport to your hotel

using buses and subway or T as it is

known here in Boston. Keep watching for tips

to make your trip to Boston easier

Boston Logan International airport is

about 15 minutes by subway or T from

downtown Boston. Logan airport has 4

passenger terminals A,B,C, and E. Each

with its own ticketing, baggage claim, and

ground transportation facilities. Once

you disembark the plane at Logan Airport

domestic passengers and passengers from

Canada who have gone through US

Immigration and Customs in Canada

through Preclearance can go directly to

baggage claim. Other international

passengers should follow the signs to

passport control and immigration

Once you're clear immigration all

international passengers need to pick up

their bags and clear customs. If Boston

is not your final destination, after

clearing customs you'll have to drop

your bags at the transfer belt for your

next flight. If Boston is your final

destination follow the signs to ground

transportation

There are many choices for

transportation into downtown Boston by

rent-a-car, private shuttles, T( subway) taxi,

or bus. The Massachusetts Bay

Transportation Authority, MBTA, offers the

Free Silver Line Bus Rapid Transit

service from the airport to downtown

Boston. The Silver Line bus, route SL1,

is the most convenient option and

your best connection to and from the

airport with pick up directly in front

of each of Logan's terminals. There are no

shuttle transfers and room to store your

luggage (on the buses). At the arrival level follow the

Bus signs. Look for the MBTA Silver

Line bus stop sign just right outside

the terminal. Take the Silver Line bus

SL1 to South Station in Boston. Take the

MBTA Silver Line bus SL1 route to

South Station in Boston. If South Station

is not near your hotel make sure to take

the free transfer to the subway often

called the T for the red line from your bus

driver before you exit (bus)

You can get on the Red T lineI for free

with the transfer but if you have to

transfer to another line you will have

to buy a T ticket. Exit at your hotel

stop or you can also take a cab from

South Station

Another option is the free Massport

shuttle to Airport Subway Station. From

Airport Station, you can catch the Blue Line (T)

inbound to downtown Boston. You

can take the free Massport shuttle

outside each terminal and look for the

airport shuttle signs. Look for the Blue

Bus

Look for the signs that say "Blue Line T"

and numbers "22, 33, or 55"

The Massport shuttle will drop you off in

front of the Blue Line T Airport Station

Once in Airport Station

purchase your tickets at the vending

ticketing machine on the side of the

entrance hall. Ticketing machines accept

cash, credit cards, or both. Purchase a

Charliecard and load an amount onto it

the Charliecard works for all forms of

MBTA public transportation in Boston

Once you purchase your ticket, tap your card

Trump uncertainties on economic front with Allen Sinai - Duration: 4:25.

The Donald Trump administration is one of the most unpredictable factors facing the

global economy.

So to get a look ahead with an in-depth analysis,.... our Shin Se-min turned to a prominent American

economist.

Here's her one on one with Allen Sinai..

1.

"We're still in the early stage of a new year,… but already there are a number of major uncertainties

lying ahead.

For one, Donald Trump is a day away from his inauguration,… and with it comes his trade

protectionism worries.

How likely do you think it is we'd see protectionist measures from Washington?"

"I think it's likely that we'll see some protectionism measures out of the new administration, more

likely to be centered around countries like China, Mexico, than country like South Korea.

This is not going to be an administration that is free trader with everybody."

2.

"And China plays a major factor in this.

Do you think trump will label China as a currency manipulator and what's the danger of a potential

trade war erupting?"

"I think the odds are pretty good.

The U.S. will label China as a currency manipulator and that will invite some retaliatory measures

by China.

It doesn't really make sense to have a broad-based protectionist measures on all countries that

export to the U.S.

However the incoming administration is unpredictable.

I think we'll know the answer to that question when we see what happens with the border tax

proposal, which is a 35% tax on all items imported by the US from all countries.

It doesn't make economic sense."

3.

"In terms of fiscal spending in the U.S., there are questions about Trump's infrastructure

projects.

If implemented, would that bring about the desired effects, say on trade front?"

"The infrastructure spending, which is we estimate might end up 50 billion dollars a

year, sizable,… is backed in the U.S. both by the Republicans and the Democrats.

The impact on the world economy of 50 billion dollars a year in spending in the U.S. is

very small.

I don't think other countries should look to that source of stimulus in the U.S. as

helpful to their economies."

4."In terms of monetary policies,... many expect the Fed to carry faster-than-expected

rate hike scenario, but how would that challenge other central banks around the world,...

including countries like Korea that want to continue accommodative policies?"

"S.Korea's monetary policy will have to do what it has to do on its objectives, and inflation

is very low in S.Korea, so the accommodative monetary policy is called for.

And economic growth has been on the weak side.

No matter what we do in the U.S., S.Korean monetary policy, in my opinion, should be

focused on S.Korea.

I don't see a reason why S.Korea should raise interest rates just because the U.S. does."

5.

"Because, those were some of the trends we've seen not just in Korea but in other central

banks around the world.

Do you see other economies following suit?"

"No, not this year.

Outside of the U.S., major countries of the world are long way from raising their interest

rates,… that's Japan, ECB, Eurozone, United Kingdom, S. Korea.

It wouldn't' be 2017,… it would maybe be next year."

5 mil. Somalians in need of food aid - Duration: 1:55.

This week, at the United Nations, humanitarian officers turned their attention to the ongoing

food shortage in Somalia.

About 40 percent of the country's population are affected by that dire situation.

Oh Soo-young zooms in on the issue.

The United Nations says five million people in Somalia- that's forty percent of the population-

don't have enough to eat.

The prolonged drought across the country has worsened the already-precarious food supply,

according to a report released by the UN Office for Humanitarian Affairs.

Among the millions requiring food aid, some 820-thousand are in dire need of humanitarian

support.

"We don't have food, water, nor clothes.

Our farms are barren, our livestock are dead, and our men cannot find any work to do.

I lost my son because I couldn't find any food or water to give him, now another one

is also in hospital.

I also lost 12 members of my family.

We are in so much despair; this morning, we did not cook anything because I have nothing

to feed my children.

They are here crying.

We urgently need food, water and medicine."

The UN office has launched a response plan worth more than 860 million U.S. dollars to

target at least an estimated 3.9 million in need of emergency food assistance.

The plan aims to provide live-saving support to vulnerable groups, reduce malnutrition

and help protect displaced persons as well as restore livelihoods.

"Hopefully also it going to be assistance for them to restart their lives and that is

going to be much more difficult; this is just humanitarian aid, it is short term aid - but

in the long term these people need to get their livelihood again."

With the dry spell expected to linger for another four months, the official expressed

concern that even more Somalians will be cut off from food supplies.

Oh Soo-young, Arirang News.

Fishing Small Swimbaits | Bass Fishing - Duration: 10:10.

Man: Largemouth, big, big largemouth, Jason.

Man: Hell yeah!

Whoa.

Nick: Hey, what's up, guys?

Nick, the Informative Fisherman here on behalf of Lucky Tackle Box.

And today, we're gonna be breaking down the SpoolTek 4-Inch Fatty Pro Series.

Let's get it started.

Now, a lot of people ask, you know, "When do you fish a little swim bait like this?"

And the beauty of little, soft swim baits is you could fish 'em, year round.

Spring through winter, back in the spring again.

Sunny, clear, murky, overcast, windy, you can catch fish at all times with this.

But I would say that probably the least productive time would be in dirty water with a swim bait

because it doesn't really make any noise.

There's no rattles there.

But aside from that, these baits are very, very effective.

Now, what happened is, early on, you know, in the bass-fishing world when swim baits

started to kind of take over spinnerbaits and you would see the popularity of spinnerbaits

slightly fading away, well, what happened is early in the morning, you know, it'll be

overcast and the darker and we would throw spinnerbaits.

But what would happen is the wind would lay down, the sun would come out.

It'll be a little higher pressure in slick calm, and that's where the swim bait came

into play.

So it used to be synonymous.

The guys would throw the spinnerbait when it got real windy and then they would switch

to swim bait like these.

But now, I mean the popularity of swim baits like these are huge.

Now, one of the really cool things SpoolTek did here, is you can clearly look at the package

and see they included an extra tail.

But what this is designed to do, this is a hard plastic right here, and the cool part

is, there is a stainless-steel cable in here which is wound up.

Now, I'm gonna tell you something in regards to bass fishing.

When a bass gets something in its mouth, and there's some weight there...

This lure is half an ounce.

If he comes up and shakes when they hit the surface, and I'm sure you've had it happen,

they come up, oh, whipping their head back and forth.

They leverage the hook.

They use the weight and they're shaking the bait which, therefore, creates a larger hole

with that hook point, which creates leverage, and they throw that bait out.

Now, SpoolTek's addressed that.

Watch this.

Bomp, well, check that out, that stainless-steel cable slides out under just the right amount

of pressure to keep that fish pegged.

Now, the benefit here is, now he loses all the leverage of that weight in his mouth.

So a very, very cool feature and a very nicely-designed bait.

It's got a real big, fat head and the benefit of a fatter head like that is it can deflect

off bottom structure and cover quite well.

And it can also be dredged.

And dredged just means casting it out, letting it fall to the bottom, and bringing it right

back across the bottom, and bouncing along just like you're dredging something.

So let's talk a little bit about retrieval.

I've looked at this bait and I've dropped it the water and it looks like it drops about

three feet per second.

Now, why is that beneficial for a swim bait like that?

It's hugely beneficial because depending on time of day, depending on time of year, the

fish are gonna fluctuate.

Let's say its summertime, the fish are gonna move down deeper or into heavier cover.

I'm throwing an exposed hook here, so I clearly don't wanna throw this into heavier cover.

So if I was fishing this in the summer time, I will be looking down deeper along ledges,

or big boulders, looking for the shade of the sun and fish in the opposite side.

So in theory, you do this.

If you think there's a boulder right here and the sun's up over here, you wanna be casting

to this side of the boulder because that's where the shade line is gonna be.

And the cool part is, with a swim bait like this falling at three feet per second...

Let's say it's 10 feet, so I know if I count 4, all right, I know if there's boulders out

here.

And I count 1 1000, 1 1000, 3 1000, 4 1000.

Now, I'm more than likely gonna be on the bottom, and I could slow roll that right along

the bottom, get it in there behind those boulders, and catch 'em.

Now, if you're in the spring, those fish can be off in the prespawn up shallow along the

banks.

And you can basically just cast out and reel right away, right across the surface and you're

gonna still have that bait up in super shallow water.

So a swim bait like this can be extremely versatile.

Spring, fall, those fish are gonna be shallow.

Chasing what looks to be like a shad right here.

This thing looks identical to a shad, a 4-inch shad.

It's probably the most common bait fish across the whole entire country, to be perfectly

honest with you.

So a bait, just like this here, is gonna just match that hatch flawlessly.

And I'm looking at this hook right here.

It look like a 6/0 hook right here.

That's a black nickel.

This is a very heavy, heavy-duty hook, and it's a thicker diameter hook so.

When it comes to the gear, I'm gonna throw this on.

I'm gonna throw it on a medium-heavy, bait-casting rod.

Now, with a swim bait, you're casting it out there.

You're making far casting.

You're wanting to cover water, so a longer rod is gonna be critical.

You know if you're adamant about fishing a 6/6 go ahead.

But I prefer 7, 7/6, 7/11 as long as I can get it, is really what I want.

And I don't like really a moderate fast, I like more of fast.

That means just bending up more to the tip.

And the reason why it's got a lot of back bone right here, which is gonna allow you

to drive a heavier hook set on that fish.

That being said, I wanna fish it on fluorocarbon line.

I'm making a far cast.

You don't have to fish it on fluorocarbon.

This is merely my suggestion.

fluorocarbon is very low stretched and you're gonna feel the rocks on the bottom.

You're gonna feel when a fish hits it or swims up behind it.

You're gonna be like, "Well, what happened there?"

And all of a sudden, he's gonna grab it at long range.

Low stretch is gonna allow you to set that hook from long range.

Now real speed, does that really matter?

Oh, not so much.

You can fish it on pretty much any speed reel you want.

But if you're like me and you're out there in the fall, and you see bait moving around,

sometimes I like to get it in fast.

So I like to fish it on a seven speed, not that critical.

You can probably fish this bait down to 12-pound test, and I would say up 20-pound test.

So that's your variation for there.

So keep all that in mind.

What I do like is I like a spool that can hold a lot of yardage.

And the reason for that is I've said this in other videos, and this is something you

don't have to do.

This is merely a suggestion.

I spool up a quarter of the way full on my spool with braided line.

The reason for that is fluorocarbon is heavy, and I use it.

You need a Uni Knot and I connect that fluorocarbon line on top.

That means the weight is near the outside of my spool.

So the centrifugal force is much faster.

So I'm getting a higher revolution speed of that line coming off my spool.

It's a bigger loop so I'm getting much more yardage on my cast.

So I'm making far cast with that.

Do you need to do that to fish this?

Absolutely not, but I like that long rod.

I like a longer handle on my rod too.

The reason for this, it's a big-style hook, I'm looking for a big, big bass which gets

it.

Oh, I like to leverage a hook set right in there behind my arm.

So I like a longer handle, a medium-heavy rod, usually in a fast action.

You can get away with an extra fast, you can get away with a moderate fast.

That's just the way the rod bends.

That's the taper.

And that's pretty much your setup for you.

But you need to be throwing that bad boy on, so let's get it in the water.

Now, when it comes to casting targets with a swim bait like this, I like steep bluff

walls, I like grass line.

And you wanna parallel stuff with a bait like this.

Now what I mean by parallel, let's take a look at this wall right here, nice steep rock

wall.

Now, it also depends on time of the year, when those fish are gonna be up shallow.

In the fall, basically 68 degrees to 58 degrees, you're gonna have fish that are shallow.

Sometimes, in the summertime, you will have those that are deep.

But if their shade line is up here, you will have those fish moving shallow.

Now that being said, with your cast, I like to parallel that.

Now, I like to start off my cast and fish it relatively shallow.

I wanna fish near the surface if I'm going to repeat cast.

So let's say I have this bait, hypothetically, a foot under the surface right now.

I cast it out there, I bring it in, I don't get bit.

Now I'm gonna cast it out and you can see with the steeper bluff wall, I'm gonna count

to three or four.

And I'm fishing different parts of the water column, I fish in the top, the middle, and

I may try to tractor it and bump it along the bottom of my third cast.

If I need to repeat cast, or if I was fishing from the bank, that's what I would do every

single time.

Another really awesome target, which I like in the pre-spawn, the post-spawn in the fall

is standing timber.

You look at this tree right here, this isn't standing timber, this is fallen timber.

But you can still see that tree is just sticking out relatively over 10 or 12 feet of water.

Now, in the spring, what I like to do, I like to cast and I like to bring it right over

the top, near standing timber, right through the branches through the uprights.

A lot of the time, those bass are gonna sit in there, and when it comes through those

uprights, it's a perfect time to ambush.

The reason for it is bass love vertical structure, and vertical cover.

You can get a tree out in the middle of a creek channel and they can drop straight up

and down into 50 foot of water, and be back within a couple feet of water instantaneous.

So bringing a swim bait through the top of that standing timber can be phenomenal.

So another perfect example since the SpoolTek swim bait looks like a shad, this is a school

of bait right here, and this is a hard bottom.

There's actually a couple of fish right in the middle of the rocks along the hard bottom.

And there's a fish that's actually right against the bottom right there and he's following

that shad.

And if you look it's in between 10 and 15 feet.

So I could cast out that SpoolTek swim bait, let that thing fall and count it down to right

into that depth zone, and bring it right through that shad.

And then soon as I see it trail out, these bass that are following, like here's another

one following some bait along the bottom right here, will come up and capitalize on that

one wounded shad.

So don't think you always have to cast to a target.

You see random bait on you graph, cast out, count it down, and take an opportunity of

catching those unpressured fish.

Oh, come on, come on, come on.

Oh, there we go, there we go.

And that's it for the SpoolTek Fatty, guys.

A nice, little chunky one to end the evening.

I appreciate you guys watching.
