rebels and the Empire you can play

either or and then cars that go along

with him it lets you build a deck that

you use to battle against opponents now

i have been playing a lot on another

account this is the accountant i'm gonna

be using for the videos and we're going

to be building this up i got a new new

guy

killed other players so I have been

getting on average probably find a

seven-player kills every single match

the level 7 on that account

we're doing really well so if you got to

beaches are so easy ridiculously easy in

my opinion but we're going to yeah

as the the Empire's while just to kind

you can send the 80s you down one lane

of them don't even realize it's there

it's pretty devastating but so this is

taking a little bit longer than expected

once once we have to match over them

alright so he could not get it to be to

work so i'm hopping into one you want

to get on this plane and we're going to

as a Grenadier to attack that and then

these guys are gonna get bombed by yep

goodbye and then he's just going to get

jacked up and think and take him out and

attack that turret and he's not even

know what's going on

he's not even going over this look at

them they're taking a little bit of

damage on that church

yeah not too not too smart on his part

but we'll keep going let's give them

some support

we're going to take this turret and that

other church can snipe that that's why

it's going down and you still haven't

guys now the cool thing with layers that

you can do that where you can pawn in a

bunch of troops this kind of another

race its kind of your secondary ability

you responded honor guards

so that's like kind of free unit like

he's dead again that other turns down to

you think so alive we're going to get

another grenadier up in here and we're

doing pretty well now the cool thing

with voting Brooke is that he can spawn

in like cause I don't like a drop pod

it's a free health thing or energy

either healthier energy and it's

extremely helpful in battle and I very

rarely died when using and now we're

doing pretty good

we should have this pretty easily

where is the 02 / when he does his

special killed me when he does

especially like that not not too good

but look at my turrets barely touched

the middle one is almost completely

destroyed

go ahead and do that in a tank in there

and then we're going to call in an air

strike as well the other the other side

is being attacked but i can go over here

and defend that whenever you get on

whenever you get on the Empire side the

guy to essentially have the ability to

shoot rockets from a long ways away

which is the which is the base unit they

essentially hit your turret without even

enough to where i think i'm going to be

able to do good at all at the level that

up first and then we'll go that way

fifty percent of attack power as normal

damage enemies in front of them that's

quite a bit maybe we can do that

Leia is really good though I really like

lab but I don't want to always just

showcase this same thing over and over

again so we'll swap out we'll use Luke

in this battle and we'll go that route

and will happen 2 1 v1 and see what

looks all the books I haven't really use

Luke might take me awhile to get into

battle

sense and i do not have a tank up so

hopefully that tank will do damage on

the other side and we can move up with

the melee units to he's not he's he

responded ok I'm just going to do some

yup he did two hundred fifty percent

damaging things while you guys do a lot

of damage really quickly

that's crazy okay we're gonna wait for

the tank and blow on helped blow

freaking Wilkie takes like no damage

though I can actually probably just sit

back and let the unit's build-up they

don't want to get in there with the

turret to them pretty low health that

think it's going to be able to deal with

nice damage

gotcha every time you die it adds on

length of time before you leave on and

so we can do a lot of damage to that

correct be done we can do a lot of

damage to return it before you get back

up if he keeps dying like that who he

just one shot at all that stuff

doesn't it's just insane

don't you feel special damage when they

ground with his bow rifle and those

areas like damage to the enemy strength

the ground which is both of them

holy smokes stonham always do a

10-percent additional damage from

attacking enemy units well he's pretty

good i have to give him a try next time

she like there's something unique

individual units you know and i think i

will use that's pretty cool

DIY School Supplies - 5 Starbucks DIYs (Liquid Phone Case, Mini Notebook, Slime Pen & Keychain..) - Duration: 12:59.

hello and welcome back to my channel

today I'm going to show you how to make

DIY miniature school supplies inspires by

starbucks if you're new to the channel

and you'd like to see future DIY videos

so to get started with the key chain you will need a clear plastic

portion cup and also some acrylic paint

i'm going to use this classic caramel

color i added some of the paint to the

cup and I swirled it around until it was fully coated

once my cup with fully

coated I just let that dry for about 24 hours i'm going to use the

one-and-a-half inch Styrofoam ball from

this pack. Once the the cup had dried I placed the

Styrofoam ball in it. i'm going to use

some white puffy paint and create the whipped

cream effects you want to go around the

outside of the styrofoam ball

this will hold the ball in place and

make it not fall out of the cup just

continue to swirl it around and until you have a whip cream effect.

i let my puffy paint

dry for about 24 hours and here it is after is was dry

as you can see the puffy paint holds the ball inside the

cup and create the chocolate drizzle on

top i'm just going to use some of this

shiny hot chocolate puffy paint

to make the hook for the keychain i'm going to use a paper clip

i just opened it up keeping the

little round part on the top

to make the paperclip look more like a straw in the cup

i'm going to use some of this

acrylic green paint and just paint the

top of the paper clip

I trimmed down the paperclip so it would

fit in the cup

I then pushed the paperclip into the

Styrofoam ball so the two parts of

the paper clip were into the ball

the next thing I did was I added a jump ring and

keychain chain and then I printed out a

starbucks logo on to some sticker

paper. You can just use regular plain

paper and some glue and I stuck that on

the front of the cup and that is how you

make this DIY mini starbucks keychain the

next project will be DIY mini notebooks

for this one you will need one of these

mini red cups I cut one side of the cup

and then the other leaving me with two halves

on a piece of cardstock i traced around

one of the halves of the cup and then

I cut it out i did that twice so i had

two pieces of the cardstock cut out

this step is optional but I chose to paint my cup

with some white acrylic paint

I printed out this printable i will

leave a link down below and then I just cut the printable out

once my cup was dry I just secured the printable to the cup

with some glue

to make the notepad i'm going to use one of the

cardstock pieces that i cut out i'm

going to trace that onto some paper and

then cut out all my sheets for the notebook

now that I have all my paper for my notebook i clipped those together

with some Elmers glue i painted along

the side of the notepad to bind it together

when the glue dries then your

notebook will be bound together

I took one of the two pieces of cardstock and I

glue that to the back of the notebook

with the other piece of cardstock I used hot

glue to secure it to the back of the cup

I cut out half moon shape leaving a

little flap I folded it so it would fit

inside the cap and then I checked to

make sure that it would fit inside

before I glue it in place

I'm going to paint it so it looks like

coffee i'm going to use this classic

caramel color so mine is going to look more

like coffee and cream once it was dry I

secured the flap to the cardstock and

then I glued along the rim of the cup to

secure it

I glued the top sheet of the notebook to

the cardstock on the cup

and that is how you make a starbucks

DIY mini notebook

the next Starbucks idea will be a DIY mini slime pen

for this one I'm going to use a clear sheet

protector. This DIY will be similar to the

mccafe slime phone case i will leave a

link down below to that video i traced

around the cup print out onto the sheet

protector using the sealed side of the

sheet protector as the bottom of the cup

the next thing i did was i cut the cup

out and then I did that a second time so

i would have 2

I placed the side of the cup in a piece of parchment paper and

using a metal ruler as a guide I used an

iron to go along the side

here is the first side after it was sealed I repeated

the same process on the other side

I also sealed the other cup using the same process

to make the slime i'm going to

start by adding some clear Elmer's glue to a bowl

to color I'm going to use some

classic caramel acrylic paint and i'm

just going to add that to the glue and

mix it together next I'm going to use

some tide laundry detergent i just added

that to the paint and glue mixture

slowly and until it formed slime

here is my slime

I'm going to take a little piece of this

slime and add that to the cup and i'm

also going to do it for the other one

to seal the top i'm just going to stick

that in the parchment paper using my

ruler as a guide and then and iron to seal

it together

repeat the same process for the other

one so that you have 2

next I'm going to use a plastic bag and

some white puffy paint I placed one

of the cups on the bag and with the

puffy paint i created a whipped-cream

I then set aside and let it dry

here is mine once the puffy paint was

dry to create the same whipped cream

effect on the other cup i placed the one

that was dry face down and then I placed

the bag on the top of it and i use the

puffy paint to create the same whipped

cream effects here is the second one

after it dried i'm going to use one of

these mini pens if you don't have one

of these you can use the ink from a

regular pen and cut it down to size

I'm going to paint the top of the pen

with some of those green acrylic paint to make it look like it's straw

when the paint on the pen dried i used hot

glue to secure it to the back side of one of the cups

with hot glue i went

along the side of one of the cups and I

glued the two together

I went online and printed out the starbucks logo onto

piece a sticker paper and cut it out if

you don't have your paper you can just

print it out on regular paper and glue

it down and that is how you make this

DIY mini pen.

the next DIY will be these super easy starbucks bookmarks just head on down to

the link below and print this out once

you have it printed out the just cut it

out i also printed out 2 starbucks

logos and cut those out i used a piece

of clear packaging tape to go over the

top of all the images and trimmed off the

excess tape

here are mine after they all had tape on them

i'm going to use a piece of green string you can also use green

ribbon

apply glue to one of the cups place the

string in the middle and glue the other

cup to the top trim the string

apply glue to one of the starbucks logos

place the end of the string in the

middle and then glue the other logo on top

and that is how you make these easy

starbucks cup bookmark the final

project will be a DIY liquid phone case

I'm going to use one of these clear

portion cups

cut the cup and half just like in the

mini notebook DIY next thing i did was i

just cut out a strip from a sheet

protector. hot glue along the sides and the

bottom of the cup and glue that to the

sheet protector

using a toothpick wipe away any excess

glue before it dries.

add some water make sure there are no leaks

to make the liquid i'm going to use some soap and

i just added those two together and mixed

cup hot glue around the top of the cup

then fold the heat protector over tightly

and then with your finger smooth it out

to make sure that it seals you don't want any leaks

trim off the excess sheet protector

to make the whipped cream i'm

going to use some white model magic clay

I just rolled that out into a snake

shape i'm going to use a clear phone

case and what i did was i just applied

hot glue to the back of the cup and glued

that to the phone case start wrapping

the clay around the cup to look like

whipped cream after i had mine wrapped

around I took it off and shape it a bit

more i set it aside and let it dry

when the whipped cream piece dries hot

glue that to the cup

I printed out a starbucks logo cut it

out and placed it on the cups and that is

how you make this liquid starbucks DIY

Watercolour Illustration - The City Never Sleeps - Duration: 12:01.

Hey everyone!

I am back with a new video and this is going to be a speed paint of a new artwork that

I just did titled The City Never Sleeps.

And just before I get started, the materials I used for this artwork are listed in the

description box so feel free to check that out.

And yeah!

Now without further ado, I will be talking about the artwork and my process.

So let's get started!

Getting started with my colouring process, I first laid down a layer of water on to the

paper to allow me to use a wet on wet technique with watercolours.

Because I wanted a night sky or a galaxy background, I knew that several colours had to blend nicely

together and this technique works really well for that.

So I just mix colours such as violet, blue, magenta and a little bit of yellow towards

the end to mimic the colours that we normally see in images of the galaxy.

And I find that when you want to paint over a fairly large area, using larger brushes

help with that, so in this case I am using a bamboo brush, which is a size 4.

Oh and one tip that I found really helpful when using watercolours is to use two different

jars of water.

One for clean water that should remain clean and one for dirty water, although this is

actually clean water, but it's the water you use to clean your brushes, therefore over

time it becomes dirty.

I actually learnt this from some videos that I watched on how to use watercolours and their

tips and tricks.

I'll actually link down below the videos I found helpful for watercolours, so definitely

check those out.

And now I am adding some darker colours to the layer of paint, but this is still the

first layer of watercolours, it looks a little bit sloppy, but I personally don't mind

that because I will be adding layers throughout the process, so it'll look different in

the end.

For now, though I let the layer dry and work on other parts of the drawing.

So now I am working on the bottom half of the artwork, which is going to remain purely

black and white.

I don't intend on colouring the girl or the buildings around her so as to keep the

colour palette rather limited and simple.

To draw the details, I am using a Reno Art round brush in the size 5/0 so it's a really

small brush, which is great for lineart and fine details.

And along with this brush I am using the Daler Rowney Calli ink which if you've been watching

my recent videos, you've heard me mention so many times.

It's honestly become such a staple in my artwork.

The only advice I would give with this or when using ink and brush for line work, or

actually when doing lineart with any material is to start from left to right if you are

right handed.

I personally have such a hard time following that advice, which is evident in this video.

I actually had to stop every so often when inking because the ink had to dry and if I

were to ink the other parts of the page, my hand would smudge the ink.

This is something I always seem to forget until I am already in the middle of the inking

process.

So if you find yourself smudging the ink or the pencil or anything on your drawing, perhaps

working from left to right and top to bottom will help if you're right handed, and I

think it'll be vice versa if you're left handed, though I'm not so sure.

Anyway, after finishing all the outlines of the buildings and the girl, I take out my

Sakura Micron fineliner in 0.005 and my ruler, and I add lines over the outline of the buildings.

It's not really necessary but I like the look of it.

It actually resembles technical drawings present in product design and architecture hand drawings.

I really like it, and because the buildings are geometric shapes, I feel like adding the

lines kind of enhances the shapes and creates a cool effect.

So after that, I add a new layer of water and ink to the sky to make it darker and really

turn it into a night sky.

Because it's a night sky, originally it was going to be completely black, like the

one in my original drawing which I did back in 2015, but that looked a little too flat,

so having bright colours that show through this translucent layer of ink adds depth to

the sky, and it adds interest to the overall drawing.

So that's why I didn't want this layer to be opaque since I wanted the colours to

show through.

And as I let that dry, I work on the details of the hair and the buildings.

Now for the concept of the artwork, it is – as you saw before – from an ink drawing

I did in my sketchbook way back in 2015.

So I really liked that original drawing and I knew back then that one day I will make

it into a finished artwork, and finally here it is.

So I actually did start from scratch.

Like I didn't just photocopy the original drawing and enlarge it, then transfer it onto

the watercolour paper.

I had to change the composition, and I redrew the pose in hopes that I can draw it better,

which created what you see now and I am really happy with the changes and how the artwork

eventually turned out.

So this artwork as the title says "The City Never Sleeps" has a fairly simple concept

that is derived from the whole idea of staring at the ceiling at night and having your thoughts

keep you awake even when everyone is supposedly sleeping.

And that obviously was connected to the way cities come alive at night.

And how they have a different life at night compared to the life it has during daytime.

I don't know if that makes sense, hopefully it does.

But yeah!

It reminded me of the song by Ed Sheeran titled The City, particularly that line "if the

city never sleeps then that makes two".

So I feel like that line is the lyrical representation of this artwork.

And yeah!

Like I said, it's a fairly simple and straightforward concept, and I am really happy with how the

artwork turned out.

MARKETING AND PROMOTION - Terrible Writing Advice - Duration: 4:51.

Have you created a book, video game, movie, or youtube channel? Have you spend hours meticulously

creating an exciting story in hopes to sell it others? Did you believe that the hard part

was over and that your story would be so good that it would sell itself? Well you are completely

right! Now naturally most markets are flooded with a massive glut of content. Which only

means that your stuff will stand out even more! But, one does have the option, and let

me stress that this next part is completely optional, to market your creation. Don't worry.

Marketing requires no effort whatsoever and is totally not akin to beating your head against

a brick wall. Not. At. All.

Now the first step is really simple. An author has to let as many people as possible know

they have a book for sell. This is done by constantly spamming out posts at every opportunity

and in as many places as possible while being loud and obnoxious. By the way, just thought

I would mention that I wrote a book. I just thought I would bring that up for no reason

whatsoever. Now what was I saying? Oh yes. Just keep reminding people that you have a

story to sell over and over again, just like that book I wrote. I am sure these constant

and ceaseless reminders won't get on people's nerves at all, just like my awesome book!

This is especially effective in person. Constantly steer the conversation to be about one's work

no matter how awkward or vaguely related it is. Continue talking about the book even after

the potential customer's eyes have glazed over and they start looking for a quick exit

from the conversation. No need for a quick well thought out sales pitch that will allow

the customer to quickly gauge if the book is a good match for their specific tastes.

Need more places to promote? Just barge into random internet forums only vaguely related

to your subject matter. Don't bother to read any of the forum rules. Just spam out links

to your work and then complain after getting unfairly banned! Be sure to start posting

on Reddit as well. I hear they love people there who self promote without following the

rules. And don't worry about bothering to spell check one's posts or using proper English.

I see no reason why anyone would hesitate to buy a book from someone who can barely

spell.

Another good tip is to constantly boast about all of ones remarkable credentials and achievements.

All an author has to do is keep talking about how awesome they are while neglecting to mention

anything about their work. I am sure that ceaseless bragging will engage a potential

audience rather than drive them away at the sight of a bloated ego. Don't forget to brag

about being a New York Times Best selling author. It's not like that is slapped on the

cover of books so often that it has become a meaningless designation. Don't have any

credentials? That's fine. Just make them up! No one will question a book that has won a

Nobel Hugo Newberry Medal of Honor.

Still not selling any books? Don't worry. We just need a social media presence! Social

media is a great way to market and certainly not a massive time sink. Authors should always

share their controversial political views on their marketing social media profiles as

well as become embroiled in constant arguments over trivial personal affairs. That won't

alienate large potential audiences. After all, important opinions on things unrelated

to the author's artistic work and out of their field of expertise MUST BE HEARD!

Another essential marketing tool for any author is reviews! Now it is commonly assumed that

reviews are something that customers give a book after reading in order to inform others

about the quality of the work. This is a common misconception! Book reviews are something

you pay for. I am sure an amazon page full of similarity worded 5 star reviews won't

seem suspicious at all! The only other option is to pathetically beg for reviews. Oh and

don't forget to respond to negative reviews. People who clearly don't understand the author's

genius must be set straight. If an author is not allowed to directly respond to a negative

review then be sure to make a bogus account to act as a sock puppet on their behalf! No

one will instantly see that and I'm sure this behavior won't come across as unprofessional.

Need an even greater online reach? Make a youtube channel! That's like super easy!

YouTube is a great creator friendly platform that always respects fair use and is known

for its easy to understand algorithm and lack of a competitive environment. Even better,

YouTube channels grow themselves without any promotion, just like books! Imagine how absurd

it would be to market your marketing?

Tired of annoying... I mean marketing to people on the internet? Buy a table at a convention.

This is an excellent place to alienate... um I mean meet people and sell your work.

Just show up with zero planning and preparation. It will all work out. And the best part about

conventions is that one can physically block the escape of any potential customer. What

an excellent opportunity to force a sales pitch down their throat.

Getting desperate? Perfect! Nothing sells quite like desperation and it won't appear

unprofessional at all! If all else fails, then abduct your potential customer's families

and hold them for ransom. And if you want to see them again you will buy my book!

DIY School Supplies - 5 Starbucks DIYs (Liquid Phone Case, Mini Notebook, Slime Pen & Keychain..) - Duration: 12:59.

hello and welcome back to my channel

today I'm going to show you how to make

DIY miniature school supplies inspires by

starbucks if you're new to the channel

and you'd like to see future DIY videos

so to get started with the key chain you will need a clear plastic

portion cup and also some acrylic paint

i'm going to use this classic caramel

color i added some of the paint to the

cup and I swirled it around until it was fully coated

once my cup with fully

coated I just let that dry for about 24 hours i'm going to use the

one-and-a-half inch Styrofoam ball from

this pack. Once the the cup had dried I placed the

Styrofoam ball in it. i'm going to use

some white puffy paint and create the whipped

cream effects you want to go around the

outside of the styrofoam ball

this will hold the ball in place and

make it not fall out of the cup just

continue to swirl it around and until you have a whip cream effect.

i let my puffy paint

dry for about 24 hours and here it is after is was dry

as you can see the puffy paint holds the ball inside the

cup and create the chocolate drizzle on

top i'm just going to use some of this

shiny hot chocolate puffy paint

to make the hook for the keychain i'm going to use a paper clip

i just opened it up keeping the

little round part on the top

to make the paperclip look more like a straw in the cup

i'm going to use some of this

acrylic green paint and just paint the

top of the paper clip

I trimmed down the paperclip so it would

fit in the cup

I then pushed the paperclip into the

Styrofoam ball so the two parts of

the paper clip were into the ball

the next thing I did was I added a jump ring and

keychain chain and then I printed out a

starbucks logo on to some sticker

paper. You can just use regular plain

paper and some glue and I stuck that on

the front of the cup and that is how you

make this DIY mini starbucks keychain the

next project will be DIY mini notebooks

for this one you will need one of these

mini red cups I cut one side of the cup

and then the other leaving me with two halves

on a piece of cardstock i traced around

one of the halves of the cup and then

I cut it out i did that twice so i had

two pieces of the cardstock cut out

this step is optional but I chose to paint my cup

with some white acrylic paint

I printed out this printable i will

leave a link down below and then I just cut the printable out

once my cup was dry I just secured the printable to the cup

with some glue

to make the notepad i'm going to use one of the

cardstock pieces that i cut out i'm

going to trace that onto some paper and

then cut out all my sheets for the notebook

now that I have all my paper for my notebook i clipped those together

with some Elmers glue i painted along

the side of the notepad to bind it together

when the glue dries then your

notebook will be bound together

I took one of the two pieces of cardstock and I

glue that to the back of the notebook

with the other piece of cardstock I used hot

glue to secure it to the back of the cup

I cut out half moon shape leaving a

little flap I folded it so it would fit

inside the cap and then I checked to

make sure that it would fit inside

before I glue it in place

I'm going to paint it so it looks like

coffee i'm going to use this classic

caramel color so mine is going to look more

like coffee and cream once it was dry I

secured the flap to the cardstock and

then I glued along the rim of the cup to

secure it

I glued the top sheet of the notebook to

the cardstock on the cup

and that is how you make a starbucks

DIY mini notebook

the next Starbucks idea will be a DIY mini slime pen

for this one I'm going to use a clear sheet

protector. This DIY will be similar to the

mccafe slime phone case i will leave a

link down below to that video i traced

around the cup print out onto the sheet

protector using the sealed side of the

sheet protector as the bottom of the cup

the next thing i did was i cut the cup

out and then I did that a second time so

i would have 2

I placed the side of the cup in a piece of parchment paper and

using a metal ruler as a guide I used an

iron to go along the side

here is the first side after it was sealed I repeated

the same process on the other side

I also sealed the other cup using the same process

to make the slime i'm going to

start by adding some clear Elmer's glue to a bowl

to color I'm going to use some

classic caramel acrylic paint and i'm

just going to add that to the glue and

mix it together next I'm going to use

some tide laundry detergent i just added

that to the paint and glue mixture

slowly and until it formed slime

here is my slime

I'm going to take a little piece of this

slime and add that to the cup and i'm

also going to do it for the other one

to seal the top i'm just going to stick

that in the parchment paper using my

ruler as a guide and then and iron to seal

it together

repeat the same process for the other

one so that you have 2

next I'm going to use a plastic bag and

some white puffy paint I placed one

of the cups on the bag and with the

puffy paint i created a whipped-cream

I then set aside and let it dry

here is mine once the puffy paint was

dry to create the same whipped cream

effect on the other cup i placed the one

that was dry face down and then I placed

the bag on the top of it and i use the

puffy paint to create the same whipped

cream effects here is the second one

after it dried i'm going to use one of

these mini pens if you don't have one

of these you can use the ink from a

regular pen and cut it down to size

I'm going to paint the top of the pen

with some of those green acrylic paint to make it look like it's straw

when the paint on the pen dried i used hot

glue to secure it to the back side of one of the cups

with hot glue i went

along the side of one of the cups and I

glued the two together

I went online and printed out the starbucks logo onto

piece a sticker paper and cut it out if

you don't have your paper you can just

print it out on regular paper and glue

it down and that is how you make this

DIY mini pen.

the next DIY will be these super easy starbucks bookmarks just head on down to

the link below and print this out once

you have it printed out the just cut it

out i also printed out 2 starbucks

logos and cut those out i used a piece

of clear packaging tape to go over the

top of all the images and trimmed off the

excess tape

here are mine after they all had tape on them

i'm going to use a piece of green string you can also use green

ribbon

apply glue to one of the cups place the

string in the middle and glue the other

cup to the top trim the string

apply glue to one of the starbucks logos

place the end of the string in the

middle and then glue the other logo on top

and that is how you make these easy

starbucks cup bookmark the final

project will be a DIY liquid phone case

I'm going to use one of these clear

portion cups

cut the cup and half just like in the

mini notebook DIY next thing i did was i

just cut out a strip from a sheet

protector. hot glue along the sides and the

bottom of the cup and glue that to the

sheet protector

using a toothpick wipe away any excess

glue before it dries.

add some water make sure there are no leaks

to make the liquid i'm going to use some soap and

some pink acrylic ink and yes i know

that the cotton candy frap is no longer

pink but I wanted this one to be pink so

i just added those two together and mixed

them up. Pour the liquid mixture into the

cup hot glue around the top of the cup

then fold the heat protector over tightly

and then with your finger smooth it out

to make sure that it seals you don't want any leaks

trim off the excess sheet protector

to make the whipped cream i'm

going to use some white model magic clay

I just rolled that out into a snake

shape i'm going to use a clear phone

case and what i did was i just applied

hot glue to the back of the cup and glued

that to the phone case start wrapping

the clay around the cup to look like

whipped cream after i had mine wrapped

around I took it off and shape it a bit

more i set it aside and let it dry

when the whipped cream piece dries hot

glue that to the cup

I printed out a starbucks logo cut it

out and placed it on the cups and that is

how you make this liquid starbucks DIY

phone case i hope you guys enjoyed on

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, welcome

back to the second episode of Buzz with

Albaz. So we turn off my TV, we started

using our time more wisely

why aren't we seeing results? Stay tuned!

We're very instant society. We have

instant coffee, instant banking, fast food..

we want everything very quickly; you know,

this idea of instant gratification.

So as a result, we want our success very

quickly. But that's not always the case.

Success needs loads of time and that's

okay.

Legend has it there was a world-renowned

artist in the supermarket. A lady bumped

into him and she was all like, "Hey! Can

you draw a sketch of me?" And he said, "Sure!"

and then he brilliantly did so in just

30 seconds. He handed over her sketch and

he said, "That'll be $300,000."

"$300,000?"she said, "but it only took

you 30 seconds to do it."

"Yeah," he said, "but it took me 30 years to

be able to do that in 30 seconds."

We never see the behind the scenes of

other people's success stories; we only

see the final production. And so when it

comes to our life and our successes, we

only want the final production; we don't

want to do any of the grunt work. But as

people say, you can't take the elevator

to success; you have to take the stairs.

I know it's the workout, but it'll work

out. Get it? :) So we have to realize that

success doesn't happen overnight, and it

shouldn't because it requires a lot of

hard work and effort and that's what

makes success so great. Imagine women

didn't have to get pregnant. Imagine we

could just be in the comfort of our home,

we go online on this catalog; our baby

comes to us. If we want twins,

sure! Quadruplets? Sure! It's that easy.

Do you think we'd love our children the same way we do

now?

Yeah there's still a part of us, but a

part of why we love them so much

is because they require so much work and

so much effort. Of course there's the

beginning, the nine beautiful months -well,

sometimes very dreadful months- of

actually carrying the baby and then the

most important part: pushing that baby

out!

It's called labor for a reason. It's hard

work; its effort; it's exhausting. But it's

so amazing because when you're in the

moment, you feel like you can't actually do

it. How on earth am I going to push this

baby out of me? But somehow you're able

to do it and that's what makes it so

amazing...because you had this doubt in

yourself that you totally surpassed. And

then it doesn't even end there. When the

baby comes, there are sleepless nights

and burps and situps and tantrums and

actually raising them and the whole

financial aspect of it...

the list is never ending as you all

probably know. But if we didn't do

all this, our love to them wouldn't be

what it is and it's amazing because this is

what makes us hold on to them so dearly

and not donate them and give them away

when they're driving us crazy, which

let's be honest happens quite a lot. But

that's why, right? It's because we

work so hard for them and that's the

same thing with your goals. if your

success just came to you just like that

on a golden plate, presented to you, you

wouldn't to feel it. You wouldn't appreciate

it and those people around you wouldn't

appreciate it either because you didn't

really do anything. But I know, sometimes

we're too afraid of the actual experience

and the labor of our work, so we end up

forgetting that failure is actually the

first step towards success. But we know

all that. And i'm sure a lot of you know

that a lot of the people in our time

today that we consider "successful" faced a

lot of turbulence and didn't have it all

sunshine from the get-go.

If you look at JK Rowling, while she was

actually writing her first book, she was

on public assistance and waitressing. And

her book was actually rejected by dozens

of publishers before one publisher decided

to actually go forth with it.

Michael Jordan: basketball legend. He

didn't even make his own high school team.

Thomas Edison, genius of course, that we

all know brought us electricity. You

probably wouldn't be watching me on the

screen right now if it weren't for him,

although I'm sure someone probably would

have discovered electricity by now, but

anyway, he was actually told that he was

"too stupid to learn anything" in

school because he had a hearing

impairment, so his mother ended up

homeschooling three months later.

And of course when we come to look at our

role model the Prophet PBUH;

when Islam began, it began in Mecca,

right? And so for anyone looking from the

outside, it didn't seem like Islam was

getting anywhere. It was still kind of

hush-hush, on the low, but in retrospect

and in hindsight, we find out that that's

when the prophet PBUH was building the

foundation for Islam that we saw flourish so beautifully

13 years later in Madinah after their hijrah.

So almost a decade and a half later

we saw the success flourish even though

it looked like nothing was going on.

So just because you're not everything you

wanted to be the moment you graduate,

doesn't mean you won't get there. As

long as you're working towards your goal,

that's all that matters. And remember, a

strong tree doesn't just grow in a day.

It builds its strong roots first and then

it works its way up, because all great

things take time.

Your time will come, there's no doubt

about it.

As long as you have patience and

persistence, because these two things

together, they are the true key to success.

and then all the sudden you could see

them change their body language their

it's really important not to hesitate

when you tell them to go and grab the

driver's license or ID you do not want

to ask them can you go get your ID for

me

mm-hmm don't do that once I've got the

idea i'm writing on the application i

asked him now what state were you born

in

they tell me and then I say and what

your social just like that and what's

your social i don't say what your social

Watercolour Flower Studies · 30 Ways to Fill a Sketchbook - Duration: 3:25.

Hey you lot, welcome back.

So following on from yesterday's page, I was inspired today to do more flower drawings,

this time in more of that traditional, almost scientific style that you see in botanical

illustrations in books and on posters and things.

Almost like encyclopaedia style.

I had my watercolour pencils out at the beginning but I didn't use them in the end, I went

in with my regular mechanical pencil instead to map out the basic shape.

And then with this first one I did the inking first to see how that would go with my micron

pen.

These pens don't run when they're wet so I thought that would be a good way to get

my linework down and then fill it in with paint after.

I wanted to go for a really simplistic, minimal look with the lines and the colours, so not

a lot of detail which is sometimes hard for me to get the balance right with.

But yeah I actually wasn't too keen on the look of filling it in with watercolour after,

just because I had a hard time staying in the lines and that made it look a bit messy.

But I thought I'd give that approach another go with the next one, maybe be a bit more

careful.

With this one I went straight in with the pen rather than mapping it out with pencil

first.

This next one is probably my favourite of the bunch.

I love the colours of this one.

Also I think the issue I was having with watercolours yesterday was that I was working with tube

paints, today I used dry pans and that was so much easier.

So yeah if you happen to be struggling with watercolours try switching from tubes to pans

or vice-versa, it might make a difference for you as well.

Um you might notice throughout the video I kind of jump from one thing to another and

back, just to let the paint dry before I start adding the details in ink.

I definitely preferred this approach of painting first and inking after, it worked out a lot

better for me.

Ohh the waterlily was another favourite actually, again for the colours.

I swear nature is just the best source of inspiration for anything.

Natural shapes and colour combinations, there's just so much harmony in how things come together,

nature is just like the ultimate reference.

For anything.

So yeah just finishing up with the inking here, this was quite a quick little sketchbook

session, I was surprised, it only took maybe an hour to do all of these.

So I just added a title and a border to the page to finish off that botanical poster look

and that's it.

If not for Tom Brady, Bill Belichick would not be in same conversation as Vince Lombardi - Duration: 9:36.

FOXBOROUGH — So, is it Tom Brady or Bill Belichick?

The Patriots play the Steelers on Sunday night in the 11th AFC Championship Game — and record sixth straight — of the Brady-Belichick era, which started when Mo Lewis literally almost killed Drew Bledsoe late in the second game of the 2001 season.

They've been to six Super Bowls together and won four and Brady is one victory from passing Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana for the most by a quarterback and Belichick is one away from passing Chuck Noll for most by a coach.

Who deserves more of the credit? The once-in-a-generation coach or once-in-a-generation QB?

My vote goes to Brady. He wins the popular vote 1-0 and the Electoral College 1-0.

See, the system does work every now and then.

Brady is the greatest quarterback in NFL history and there are enough people who believe Belichick may have surpassed Vince Lombardi as the greatest coach. But if I had to choose with the expectation of being able to achieve the same success they've had over the last 16 seasons, give me Brady and send the sourpuss personality-deprived hoodie back to Cleveland and see what he can do with Josh McCown.

"I actually used to think it was Brady. I really thought it was Brady," said Curtis Martin, who played one year when Belichick was on the staff in New England and three years when he was on the staff with the Jets, but never played with Brady. "What I've come to believe is that it's Brady who wins championships.

Belichick is so good I think he can make the playoffs even without Brady, but I don't think he would win the Super Bowl without Brady.

It sounds like a politically correct answer to say both, but they can have success without each other.

Belichick was 37-45 from 1991-95 in Cleveland — including 1-1 in the playoffs — starting primarily Bernie Kosar and Vinny Testaverde. Then Belichick was 5-13 two games into his second year in New England with Bledsoe and there was fear inside the building that Robert Kraft would fire him at the end of the season, even though he had given up a first-round pick to get him.

Brady saved Belichick's job by winning 11 of the last 14 regular season games followed by his first Super Bowl title.

To recap: Belichick was 42-58 in his first 100 games as an NFL head coach before Brady took control in New England.

Brady has never played for any coach in the NFL other than Belichick. The only relevant stat of Brady without Belichick: He was 20-5 when he finally became the starter for Michigan in his final two years in Ann Arbor. In the last game of his college career, he threw for four touchdowns and 369 yards in a 35-34 Orange Bowl victory over Alabama.

He lasted until the sixth round in 2000, the 199th overall pick, in the biggest mistake in the history of the NFL draft. Belichick gets credit for listening to QB coach Dick Rehbein and drafting Brady. According to a source in the Jets draft room, scout Jesse Kaye pleaded with Bill Parcells to take Brady even though Parcells had drafted Chad Pennington in the first round.

Parcells wasn't buying in.

Brady was the seventh quarterback taken and the seventh player picked by Belichick.

He wasn't even the first player Belichick picked in the sixth round.

Belichick then did a great job developing him.

The Patriots opened the 2016 season winning three of the four games when Brady was serving his ludicrous Deflategate suspension. It was eight years after Belichick was 11-5 with Matt Cassel subbing for Brady, who suffered a torn ACL in the first quarter of the first game.

The pro-Belichick faction shouted, "See, he can win without Brady. Hail to the Hoodie."

Tom Brady is 23-9 in the postseason with Bill Belichick, including teaming up for 6 Super Bowl appearances.

Well, in 2007, the Patriots were the first team to finish 16-0 and if not for David Tyree's Helmet Catch, they would have been 19-0 and won Super Bowl XLII. Belichick did an excellent job winning 11 games with Cassel, but the reality is Brady was the only important missing piece from the 2007 team and Belichick won five fewer games without him and missed the playoffs.

This season, the Patriots beat the Cardinals with Jimmy Garoppolo on the road to open the season, which was a quality victory with Arizona expected to contend for the Super Bowl. As it turned out, the Cardinals had a miserable season and finished 7-8-1.

Garoppolo started the second game against Miami, but injured his shoulder and was replaced by rookie third-round pick Jacoby Brissett. New England won that game, then with Brissett starting, beat Houston and were shut out by Buffalo. Miami and Houston each made the playoffs.

To recap: Belichick is 19-19 in New England in games not started by Brady, but 14-6 in the last 20. He is 202-60 with Brady.

Brady returned in the fifth game of the season in Cleveland and threw for 406 yards and three TDs. He was 11-1 on his Deflategate Revenue tour with 28 TDs and just two INTs. He is 39 years old but getting younger each week.

He has never played better.

His devotion to physical fitness and nutrition — avocado ice cream, yum — and the constant chip he carries around from being overlooked at Michigan for three years and then in the draft, has kept him obsessed with winning.

Belichick has proven that as long as he has Brady, he can win with interchangeable parts at just about every other position. He is very adaptable. He has changed the offense 3-5 times in 16 years and gone from a big, physical defense, to blitzing all the time to zones and a mix of big guys and little guys.

He can turn over the personnel, change systems and get away with not paying big money to free agents because he has the security of knowing Brady will help make it all work. Other than the short time Brady had Randy Moss and the times when Rob Gronkowski is not injured, Belichick has not given him elite skill players.

"He is so clutch," Martin said. "He's like the Michael Jordan of quarterbacks as far as that killer instinct."

Lawrence Taylor played for Belichick in his formative years as an assistant coach with the Giants.

"Even with all the accolades and achievements that Bill Belichick has had or will have, I will never have a better coach than Bill Parcells," Taylor told the Daily News. "Call it bias, call it whatever you want."

But he doesn't consider that a slight to Belichick, who was LT's position coach or defensive coordinator with the Giants from 1983-90.

"He is a great coach, one of the greatest in history," Taylor said. "I'm not surprised at his success. I'm more surprised he has kept it going year after year.

When it comes to defense, the man is a genius.

Putting together a defense, putting together a game plan, putting together a strategy, he could do it all.

It's like a storybook thing.

If you go to sleep at night and dream about being a football coach, Bill Belichick might be the guy you dream about.

He's got a system and can plug anybody into it.

He can get a man off the street and survive."

Nobody hangs around Belichick ever thinking they will be entertained.

"Bill has been the same way every year he's been coaching," LT said. "He's dry. His jokes you don't laugh at.

But at the end of the day, you know what he's there for. To coach the team.

God damn it, he can do that."

After last season, Belichick traded Chandler Jones, his best pass rusher. At the trading deadline this season, he dealt linebacker Jamie Collins, perhaps his best defensive player but too much of a freelancer. Even so, the Patriots gave up just 250 points, the fewest in the league.

Belichick has put together a sustainable philosophy of team building, but he is susceptible to game management meltdowns: Not calling timeout in the final minute of the Super Bowl two years ago against Seattle — he was bailed out by Pete Carroll's awful decision to not give Marshawn Lynch the ball — and kicking off to start overtime against the Jets in the 15th game of the 2015 season, thus keeping the ball out of Brady's hands.

The Jets immediately drove for the winning TD and the loss prevented the Patriots from securing the No. 1 seed. They were forced to then play the AFC Championship Game in Denver and lost.

There was little chance Peyton Manning would have defeated Brady in Foxborough.

Belichick likely cost the Patriots a chance to go back to the Super Bowl.

As a result, they are one behind Lombardi and Bart Starr, who won a record five NFL titles together, which includes the first two Super Bowls.

Brady has the 183 regular season wins, three behind record holders Brett Favre and Manning. His 23 playoff victories are the most — seven more than Montana. He has won his four Super Bowls by just 13 points and lost his two to the Giants by just seven points, each time when the Patriots' defense gave up the game-winning touchdown in the final minute.

The most alarming Brady stat in the playoffs: He has 30 INTs in 32 games with 22 of those in the last 27 games. He has thrown two interceptions in three of his last four playoff games, including two last week against the Texans after throwing just two in the regular season.

Could Brady or Belichick have won as many as two Super Bowls without the other?

Take Tom Brady out of the equation and Bill Belichick has a losing record as an NFL coach.

Consider KC's Andy Reid and quarterback Alex Smith: Pretty good in the regular season, but will never win a Super Bowl. Brady could have overcome Reid's shortcoming as one of the worst playoff coaches and won championships but Belichick could not win a title with Smith.

Brady and Belichick are not particularly close — they have never had a beer and pizza together at a Route 1 joint in Foxborough — but they are perfect for each other because they are perfectionists. They each even have their own cheating scandal: Spygate and Deflategate. Outside of Patriot Nation, fans have found them easy to hate.

"Tom Brady has continued to be a great player, but the constant change in philosophy, managing the team and manipulating players, is what's amazing about Bill," said former Giants QB Phil Simms, now CBS's No. 1 analyst. "It used to be, 'Who wants to go play in New England?

' Now players are lined up and will take pay cuts."

Players want to play for Belichick and play with Brady.

"You can't separate them," Simms said. "Why has it worked? One is the coach, the other one is the player. End of story. It's like with Parcells. The line was never blurred."

But if you had to break them up and pick just one, I'll take the quarterback.

She's a nasty woman.

Actress and activist Ashley Judd delivered an impassioned spoken word poem about Donald Trump's misogyny to the crowd during the Women's March on Washington on Saturday.

It started off with her saying, "I'm a nasty woman" — and quickly turned to unfavorable comparisons to Trump.

"Not as nasty as a man who looks like he bathes in Cheeto dust, a man whose words are a dis to America, Electoral College-sanctioned hate speech," Judd shouted.

"I am not as nasty as racism, fraud, conflict of interest, homophobia, sexual assault, transphobia, white supremacy, misogyny, ignorance, white privilege," she continued, ferociously.

The poem — which she interrupted Michael Moore to deliver - was penned by a 19-year-old poet Nina Donovan from Tennessee.

Judd — the daughter of singer Naomi Judd and sister of Wynonna Judd — also compared Trump to Adolf Hitler (well, Donovan's poem made the comparison).

The end of the poem hinted at both Trump's creepy comments towards his daughter, Ivanka, as well as his sexist commentary about grabbing women "by the p---y."

Louisiana man suspected of killing pregnant wife and police officer dead from self-inflicted guns... - Duration: 1:53.

The suspect accused of fatally shooting a pregnant woman and a Louisiana police officer was pronounced dead at University Medical Center late Friday night, police said.

Sylvester Holt was in critical condition after he shot himself in the chest during a seven-hour standoff with police, Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand told The Times-Picayune.

"Hours were spent trying to get him to surrender," State Trooper Melissa Matey told the newspaper. "All of those attempts failed."

The 32-year-old murder suspect perched himself on the outside of a bridge crossing the Mississippi River and threatened to jump off during the lengthy standoff with police. Holt shot himself around 6 p.m. after he confessed to shooting both his estranged pregnant wife Simone Veal, 32, and Officer Michael Louviere, also 32.

"He indicated he had a pretty good idea they were dead," Normand said during a press conference Friday night.

Jefferson Parish police said Holt shot at Veal before chasing her down in his car and then shot both her and Louviere after she crashed into a truck.

The Westwego cop was on his way home from a shift when he attempted to help Veal escape the gunman. He was still wearing his uniform when he died.

Officers believe the fatal incident was a result of Holt's jealousy over his estranged wife's preganany with another man, according to the Times-Picayune.

Holt was released from jail earlier this month after Jefferson Parish District Attorney opted against pursuing rape charges against him.

Holt in September was arrested for picking up a woman in a New Orleans bar and raping her at gunpoint, police said. Charge were dropped because the woman in the case was uncooperative, District Attorney Paul Connick said in a statement obtained by WWLTV.

Authorities had planned to charge Holt with the murders of Louviere, Veal and her unborn child in addition to lesser charges like criminal damage to property.
