I think the best thing is when you start noticing that
this "kid in front of you" already got a personality, their own little things...
As these first start to show,
that's when you realize they are indeed another person,
running around the house...
you are tired, on a bad mood…
It's amazing how her joy can turn you over.
Just one smile can make you feel better.
A lot of the references I had,
were not things I wanted for her
I started researching and finally discovered we could adapt things to our style.
Then I learned about things like Attachment Parenting or Montessori.
Now, after two years we can start seeing how positive these were to her development.
We decided to take the TV out of our place,
so we actually have more time with her, devoted to her.
When we get home, our time's almost exclusively to her.
We come up with ways to play, use our creativity…
And really improvise. Get home, fix some dinner, and spend time with her.
It's nice to help each other and split the chores and the time with her…
And you're dealing with your own routine, get back from work
Clean the house,
or even understand that the house won't be SO organized,
If that's what it takes to go out and enjoy some a little bit outside
Play with her.
Priorities change.
Many times you have to give up what YOU want because of her.
That was something it took me a while to understand,
I was always into going out to do my own stuff…
That was a transition period.
Now I have much more pleasure in taking her to a playground,
cause I see how much it makes her develop.
And I know the time to enjoy my own stuff will come back later.
Who told me that was a friend who became a Dad before me,
and it was good to hear it from him.
I am way more comfortable in putting the quality time with Liz and Constance first.

And it is not all perfect.
We had some tough things regarding work, Caique was traveling a lot,
So we had to make some hard professional decisions
To value our family…
But it's not about having challenges or not.
It's about how you face the issues: positive or negatively.
That's something I learned with Caique.
That's when you understand the value of being together,
You start to notice the differences between us, how we were raised, personality-wise,
and how you combine all of that into something positive for this human being with us.
And we will constantly have to adjust it, as she goes into new stages.
We talk a lot to make decisions,
not about being "Right"or "Wrong", but to help open our minds.

Moms have a very organic bond with their kids, because of the pregnancy, breastfeeding…
It was awesome to see, with time, that I was also making a connection.
In my case, Music had a huge role.
I always sang for her, over and over.
Now, at age two, she is singing along.
So it really helped to develop her language skills, vocabulary, comprehension.
And it feels SO good… brings peace to both of us.
I have told Caique many times before:
"I don't think I will have patience to sit down and read books for her"
And that's one of the things now I do the most.
I wasn't fond of reading,
but since the pregnancy, I developed my interest for reading.
It is very important in terms of spending time with her,
she comes and sit on my lap, we stay close…

It's funny how we can recognize her laughter
now, at age two, and back when she was a newborn.
Hearing the same laugh it's great,

Regardless of anything, we want her to be happy.
Someone who will bring joy to other people.
We are so thankful.
It's a blessing, more than luck.

There's nothing that Michelle Obama was more proud of from her time as First Lady
than her infamous school lunch plan.
Michelle stubbornly saw the plan as her biggest success despite the fact that it was widely
panned by children and their parents alike plus schools reported higher food costs and
food waste.
That's why Michelle had a major meltdown Donald Trump announced plans to destroy the
school lunch plan last month.
The Washington Examiner reported that Michelle was asked today about critics who complain
that kids don't like the healthier food served under the school meal changes implemented
during her time as First Lady.
"How about we not let kids completely guide everything?" she said defensively while
speaking at the annual summit on childhood obesity for the Partnership for a Healthier
America.
"How about we stop asking kids how they feel about their food?
Kids, my kids included, if they could eat pizza and french fries every day with ice
cream on top and a soda, they would think they were happy, until they got sick."
"That to me is one of the most ridiculous things we talk about in this movement, that
the kids aren't happy," she added.
"Well, you know what?
Kids don't like math, either.
So what are we going to do, stop teaching math?
We gonna cut history out because there are kids who are bored with history?
We are the adults in the room, you know?
They look to us.
So let's just stop with that.

Michelle also attacked Trump directly without saying his name, saying parents should stop
and "think about why someone is OK with your kids eating crap."
"If somebody is doing that, they don't care about your kid," she added.

What is wrong with you and why is that a partisan issue?'"
Clearly, Michelle isn't handling being out of power very well!

NBC Makes MAJOR Announcement About Megyn Kelly
Back in January, Megyn Kelly shocked her fans when she abruptly left Fox News to sign a
contract with NBC News.
Afterwards, Kelly spent months on the sidelines as she waited for her contract with Fox News
to expire.
Now that it finally has, it appears that NBC is ready for Kelly to start being a face of
their network as soon as possible.
Variety reported that two sources confirmed that Kelly will make an appearance during
NBCUniversal's "upfront" presentation on Monday morning along with other NBC News
staffers whose identities could not be immediately learned.
During the annual upfront presentation, various TV networks vie for billions of dollars in
advertising cash, and each one showcases their top personalities to secure as much money
as they can.
Kelly's appearance at the showcase, which is scheduled to take place at New York's
Radio City Music Hall, would mark one of her first broad public appearances on behalf of
the Comcast-owned entertainment conglomerate.
NBCUniversal is clearly hoping that Kelly will be able to win over advertisers like
Apple and Zyrtec.
This comes after it was revealed that Kelly's weekly Sunday night special will premiere
in June.
Starting in September, Kelly will also have her own 9am talk show, which will have her
competing with ABC hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest.
It remains to be seen how Kelly will fare at her new home, as many of her conservative
fans have abandoned her due to the way she left Fox.
Liberals have always disliked Kelly because of her conservative views, so it's questionable
that she will be able to find enough fans to make her show successful.

And somehow the Circle gives her a sense of autonomy
and control and also kind of like hope
for her future.
So it's a very powerful promise
that the Circle gives her.
So three wise men
are the triumvirate at the head of the Circle.
So there's Ty Lafitte
who is the creator.
So he invented what has become the Circle.
And then there's Tom Stenton

So I think it's incredibly topical
And speaks to this moment now.
As someone has has been in the public eye quite a bit
And obviously since I was very young
I did always feel that the boundaries between the personal and private were
I always felt that they were important
but I think even more so playing this world
and exploring this role
I think it made me think about it even more than
that I was before.
I thin that's what's so interesting about out film
is that it's not there to preach or
it doesn't give a particular perspective on it
but it just forces the audience to ask question
and to ask themselves questions.
I think that's the key really.
I think what's difficult about the situation that we're in now is
that we give our information away so freely
without much though anymore.
And I think people will think, we'll think about these questions more having seen it.

Transformers The Last Knight Premier Edition Grimlock - Duration: 16:02.

Hello boys and girls, young and old. Welcome to yet another action figure video review.
Today we'll take a look at the new toyline of Hasbro from the new upcoming movie Transformers The Last Knight!
And the first figure that we'll have a look is Premier Edition Grimlock.
And as you can see, Grimlock comes with a medium box. You see him here in his robot mode.
This figure is for ages 8+ .
A very nice artwork of Grimlock over here, it continues until the side of the box.
On the other side of the box you see a nice image of Grimlock from the movie.
Nothing special on the top and bottom side of the box.
And on the back side of the box, you see Grimlock in both of his modes.
Also you see here that the voyager class Optimus Prime is available from this wave.
Enough with the box, let's see the accessories of the figure!
Grimlock comes with the instructions, here they are. You see his transformation here.
The instructions say that it's 18 steps.
So let's see the figure from close now.
And here we have, ladies and gentlemen, Grimlock in his dino mode.
This Grimlock is a repaint of the Age Of Extinction version. This version has better paint apps.
I really like this metallic colour that they gave him.
And this combination of colours is much better than the Age Of Extinction version.
I like that they gave him red eyes because Grimlock had red eyes in the movie.
I wish they had painted his upper teeth silver.
As you can see his bottom teeth are silver while his upper teeth is plain grey.
His proportions in this area are not correct and it seems a little bit ugly.
I mean, his head is nice, his legs are fine, his tail is ok but this area here seems ugly, the proportions are not correct.
I wish his arms were higher and more inwards.
Grimlock comes with this weapon. This piece can be disconnected.
You can also connect the weapon with his tail.
And now Grimlock has a bigger tail.
But ok, this looks silly, I don't think anyone would put the weapon to his tail.
Also, Grimlock has one feature.
By pushing this button here, his mouth can open-close. Nice feature.
As for his articulation...his upper part of his mouth can open like this but it will look a little bit weird if you do it.
His horns can move up and down. His arms are on ball-joints so you have a nice range of motion.
But if you're messing up with his arms, this panel will disconnect easily.
His legs can rotate 360 degrees, they move up and down, they rotate at the upper part of the leg,
they bend at the knee and his heel can move up and down. Nothing at the tail. So let's see a size comparison now.
Here he is next to a deluxe class figure, movie Sideways and next to a voyager class figure, Human Alliance Barricade.
Here they are from a different angle as well.
So let's transform Grimlock into his robot mode. His transformation is very easy I would say.
First, bring the legs up so they won't bother us. Disconnect these panels from here.
Disconnect his legs from here and bring them down.
Disconnect the legs from here and bring the feet up.
Bring these panels to the front and this peg here will tab into this hole here.
Bring the chest down. And this slot here will tab with this peg here.
Disconnect this bit from here. Disconnect the upper part of Grimlock's mouth.
Split it in half, like this. Bring it down and bring the horns up, like this.
And we will try to get this piece through Grimlock's head, like this.
This piece here will connect to the shoulder. Fold this piece like this.
Rotate the arms to the correct position. Disconnect the leg from here.
Rotate it like this. Close the heel backwards. And this peg here will tab into this hole here.
One arm is ready. Do the same thing to the other side as well.
And Grimlock is ready in his robot mode.
I must admit that I prefer his robot mode than his dino mode. His robot mode has nice proportions.
So I believe that the dino mode is the "weak" one from those two modes.
I like his robot mode, it's very nice.
I wish this piece could fold somehow upwards so it won't be visible from the front side but ok, I ask too much. :P
Also, I would prefer Grimlock's eyes were red, because in the movie he had red eyes.
But in general, he looks nice. I also like his colours.
As for his articulation, his head can turn left and right, it can look down as well. It cannot look up though.
His arms can rotate 360 degrees, they move up and down.
They can rotate at this point here, they bend at the elbow, nothing at the wrist, nothing at the waist as well.
This piece can come up until here. The legs can move back and forth.
Up until here. They rotate at the thighs, they bend at the knee and the foot can move up and down because of the transformation.
Well, ok, normal articulation. Not the best articulation, just normal.
One complain that I have in his robot mode is that if you want to use the elbow joint from here
the wrist won't have the proper position. There is a solution about this.
You can disconnect this panel from here and then rotate the fist to the correct position.
But now you won't be able to connect this panel anywhere, it will rest on the arm, like this.
I believe it looks better now. I prefer it this way although this panel here won't tab anywhere.
And of course he can hold his weapon.
He looks very nice now with his weapon.
There is also weapon storage in his back.
There is a hole here, this peg will connect in here.
And it will look like this.
Okaayy...yea, why not. So let's see a size comparison now.
Here he is next to Human Alliance Bumblebee. As you understand Grimlock is a voyager class figure.
Here he is next to Wei Jiang Hound and next to Dark Of The Moon Shockwave.
And finally, here he is next to movie advanced Optimus Prime from Takara Tomy. He is a leader class figure.
So let's transform Grimlock back into his dino mode. First, bring his feet down.
Disconnect this panel. Rotate it and connect this peg into this slot here. And bring the heel backwards.
Do the same thing to the other side as well.
Disconnect this piece from the shoulders. We will try to bring this piece backwards.
Connect the upper head of Grimlock.
There is a peg here, it will connect to this hole here.
Bring Grimlock's head down and bring his horns down as well.
Disconnect these panels from here. Disconnect the chest from here and bring it up, like this.
This piece will tab in here.
Bring the legs up. There is a peg here, it will tab in this slot here.
This is the most difficult part of the transformation.
And once you've done this, connect the legs. Bring these panels down, they will tab in these slots here.
Rotate the legs to the correct side.
And Grimlock is back into his dino mode!
Final thoughts... surely, it wouldn't be the first choice of a collector but I believe the kids will love this figure.
After all this is the target group of these figures.
The transformation is not difficult and the paint apps are superior of the Age Of Extinction version.
I believe it will be a good gift for your children.

DIY Basic Boutonniere | Super Simple! - Duration: 3:00.
Hi everyone, it's Christine here and today I want to show you how to make a basic blush
colored boutonniere with a single flower as the focal point.
The wedding and prom seasons are in full bloom and I am so excited!
I have tutorials for rustic boutonnieres and feather boutonnieres so I think I covered
all the bases but I am thinking of doing a paper flower boutonniere too!
Let me know if you have any other ideas or requests down below!
For supplies I just want to point out that you will need a main blush flower of your choice,
white little flowers, dried white baby's breath, and some green leaves.
You can find the full list of supplies down below, so be sure to check that out for all the details!
Let's start by arranging the flowers the way you want your design to look.
Take the main flower and begin to build around it.
This is the part where you figure out what works best.
Then start to trim the florals down to workable sizes and clean up some of stems or flowers you don't want.
Use hot glue to secure the stems together and then let that dry.
Once everything looks good, wrap floral tape around the stem covering the glue area.
Cut the stems down to about 1.25 inch from the main flower.
Just make sure to give yourself enough room for the safety pin.
Now wrap twine around the same area leaving the bottom of the stems exposed and secure
using hot glue.
You can also wrap the entire stem in floral tape and twine if you want!
Make it your own and be creative.
Add a little label to each boutonniere for the sake of presentation and you're done!
This is the perfect boutonniere for any wedding, prom, or formal event, inside or outside.
Switch up the colors to match your occasion and you're good to go!

As these first start to show,

I started researching and finally discovered we could adapt things to our style.

When we get home, our time's almost exclusively to her.
We come up with ways to play, use our creativity…
And really improvise. Get home, fix some dinner, and spend time with her.
It's nice to help each other and split the chores and the time with her…
And you're dealing with your own routine, get back from work
Clean the house,
or even understand that the house won't be SO organized,
If that's what it takes to go out and enjoy some a little bit outside
Play with her.
Priorities change.
Many times you have to give up what YOU want because of her.
That was something it took me a while to understand,
I was always into going out to do my own stuff…
That was a transition period.
Now I have much more pleasure in taking her to a playground,
cause I see how much it makes her develop.
And I know the time to enjoy my own stuff will come back later.
Who told me that was a friend who became a Dad before me,
and it was good to hear it from him.
I am way more comfortable in putting the quality time with Liz and Constance first.

And it is not all perfect.
We had some tough things regarding work, Caique was traveling a lot,
So we had to make some hard professional decisions
To value our family…
But it's not about having challenges or not.
It's about how you face the issues: positive or negatively.
That's something I learned with Caique.
That's when you understand the value of being together,
You start to notice the differences between us, how we were raised, personality-wise,
and how you combine all of that into something positive for this human being with us.
And we will constantly have to adjust it, as she goes into new stages.
We talk a lot to make decisions,
not about being "Right"or "Wrong", but to help open our minds.

Moms have a very organic bond with their kids, because of the pregnancy, breastfeeding…
It was awesome to see, with time, that I was also making a connection.
In my case, Music had a huge role.
I always sang for her, over and over.
Now, at age two, she is singing along.
So it really helped to develop her language skills, vocabulary, comprehension.
And it feels SO good… brings peace to both of us.
I have told Caique many times before:
"I don't think I will have patience to sit down and read books for her"
And that's one of the things now I do the most.
I wasn't fond of reading,
but since the pregnancy, I developed my interest for reading.
It is very important in terms of spending time with her,
she comes and sit on my lap, we stay close…

Beautiful, lying in bed,
with wrinkles from sleep,
struggling to get out of bed.
It's funny how we can recognize her laughter
now, at age two, and back when she was a newborn.
Hearing the same laugh it's great,
Cause she changed so much,
But it's like her essence is still the same.
Regardless of anything, we want her to be happy.
Someone who will bring joy to other people.
We are so thankful.
It's a blessing, more than luck.
It's a blessing...

today we're visiting gyeongbokgung palace
still in Seoul
You guys should know that
the place was built
around years 1300 - 1400
and it was the very beginning
of the power enthronement here in Seoul
King Taejo
has built this place to live here
Will see around a bit what's going on
We can see something typical
on the architectural aspect
and also about colors
The place is very colorful
You cannot see, but
there is purple, green and red walls
Something hit me,
compared to the forbidden city
when I was in China
It's super quiet !
it's currently around 5pm
and it's almost empty

TOP 10 VIETNAMESE DESSERTS - SWEET HANOI - Duration: 12:21.
Now Michèle and I have been in Hanoi
for over a week and we've had fantastic
savory dishes particularly the Pho Ga, I
love the Pho's as we call them
but the Phở which has chicken and beef
in it, it's a noodle soup delicious but
don't forget Vietnam is not just about
savory dishes there is wonderful sweet
dishes here too. So I'm going to take you
out on the streets of Hanoi today and
we're going to taste some of the best
sweet dishes in Hanoi come on what are
you waiting for.
So in these little cafes, these
little back cafes where you're going to
find all these lovely sweet desserts. So
this is the mixed fruit che. This is
Hoa Quả Dầm so this is
Hoa Quả Dầm, this is like a Quả Dầm this is
a mixed fruit with... there's like a sweet
milk on this. So we've got jackfruit,
we've got watermelon. Very refreshing.
Break it up.... okay so I put the ice in to it to
chill down the fruit I mean take a
bit of ice let the fruit chill down, mix
it through there. Let's get a
mouthful of this, I've got some jackfruit
and I think coconut milk
I'm not sure how to pronounce this street so
this street is one of the streets on the
other end of town which is also got some great sweet delights. Now you've got to
remember in these places, there is very little
English spoken so you're going to have
to learn a little bit how to communicate
and gesticulate with your hands. So this is
Caramen Nếp Cẩm. So you've got this
beautiful caramel , a creme caramel,
inside you've got that black sticky rice
I love this and then they've got this
condensed milk. I don't know if it's
sweet condensed milk. You take your ice
just drop some ice in there, a little bit
like this, just mix it up. The ice is
there just to cool the dessert down.
Before I break it all up just have a
look at this beautiful caramel here, it's
like a creme caramel, sweet and sticky
and delicious
I love the creme caramel here they're so
good. Little more ice. come down here a
little more ice in we go, we've got our
black sticky rice here, give this a mix through
look at the color of that rice you
can see down on this side it's almost
sort of purpley red Caramen Nếp Cẩm
she says I've said it all right
Here we go.
You've got to be here, this one Michèle
loves this is a coconut thats been hollowed
out and inside you've got, come and have a
look, so that's the coconut jelly you've
got the young coconut flesh inside which
in itself is just delicious. Now I love this
Michèle loves the jelly, I like the jelly it's
not my favorite. Oh lovely and chilled too. So
on top you've got coconut cream and I'll
just show you as you cut through there the
coconut cream is set in a gelatine. This
is lovely and cold and chilled and
delicious. Here goes
that is sweet and rich and coconutty
Now if you love the coconut cream thats the
bit you'll go for
Michèle likes the coconut water which is underneath
come back down here. Still set in
gelatine under there is this beautiful
see that there, that's the coconut water also
set in a gelatine. Now I'm going to eat
a little bit of this then Michèle is going to finish it off
Here Goes.
This is a huge dessert the previous
dessert the one with the sticky rice that was
20,000 Dong this one 35,000 Dong about $2
for this whole desert down here. Look at
that, how gorgeous is that, to get this
beautiful young coconut flesh off as
well and you can take that, mix it
up with the actual coconut itself. It's a
beautiful refreshing dessert. Okay I've
got to admit I've got a sweet tooth and
I'm not leaving here before I try the
third of my favorite from this one shop,
so this is a great place to come. I'm
going to have, let me have a little look on
here. Now I've just ordered it but I've
probably got the name wrong Chè Xoài
so I've got myself a Chè Xoài here it
comes, the lady's bringing it over thank you
cảm ơn. Now this one I stumble across it, it
wasn't obvious when I came in the shop
but look at this, underneath this cream
here, I don't know if you can see, we've got this
beautiful mango jelly and you just break
into the jelly you take that sweet milk
off of there, and then
beautiful Chè Xoài, you've got all this
lovely diced up sweet mango in here it's
so,so good
Who am I kidding just one last thing
before we leave I'm going to end this
little visit to this shop with a final
caramel. Okay finishing on the caramel, I
love these nothing with it, this sauce at
the bottom is yummy like burnt sugar.
Absolutely gorgeous, one for the road.
This is the guy Michèle's filming, this is the guy that
helped us, served us last time with the
Chè. So first of all he's going to take
a fresh coconut and he's just taken the
top off, now for some reason this time
he's given me the coconut water, he
didn't do that last time but maybe it's
because I'm a regular now. Now firstly
he's filling the inside of the coconut with
ice cream putting a little bit of
shredded coconut in the center and then
he puts just beautiful swirl of ice
cream on top, in goes some pieces of
jackfruit a little more shredded coconut
and then some pieces of this beautiful
toasted coconut. Thank you

what Rice Flake is but it's delicious
okay it's unfair of me not to describe it
and say it tastes great it's sort of
vanilla a little bit towards rice maybe
with sweet so sugary, overall its delicious.
So it's air conditioned it's got this lovely sort of
old-school charm of an ice cream parlour
Now I got to report in also the cones are
really good they're sort of caramelized
flavor which I love
well worth the 12,000 Dong you
pay for this, which in Australian dollars
is around about 70 or 80 cents US I
think its closer to 50. In case you're thinking
did I come back from other try no this
is the same visit, of course. Strawberry is really good.
Now what's the chances, right next
door to our favorite egg coffee shop in
Hanoi, there's this fantastic bubble
waffle shop, the lady there was super
sweet, she decided to let me make my own
waffle, though it seemed I wasn't putting
enough batter in at first...not enough
so I've got myself a new job now in
Hanoi working on the what would you call these
like a waffle. Round waffles
these are vanilla..... Vanille

So when you've enjoyed yourself the best egg
coffee in Hanoi pop outside and have
yourself a bubble waffle
So we've got all the bees over
there but I've got myself a beautiful
sugar cane drink here
lovely refreshing, If you haven't had this before how can I explain it
it's like slighty sweet water with a
slight sort of honey, you can see why the bees love it. This is delicious
So let's be honest with this cane water or
cane sugar drink, Michèle and I have
been sharing this and it's still too
sweet for us, so it's great it's
refreshing and if you like sweet food
you'll be fine but if you're not a great
sugar addict like we're not, then it's
beautiful, it's delicious, slightly grassy but just
a little bit too sweet.
Now these doughnuts are fresh off the street
the lady here is cooking them up they're
absolutely gorgeous
Now unlike the ones that are being
handed out around the old town which
have been on those baskets all day these
are lovely and fresh.

delicious the oil is slightly savory not
super-sweet we've got the sesame on
there, you've got the beautiful little
donuts now also inside the donut there's like
a white bean paste, it's slightly
sweetened almost vanilla flavor.
Another great advantage of these little
donuts as they are gluten free as well
and this being a cooking channel more
than the Travel Channel we will be
covering these donuts as a recipe on
Steve's Kitchen at a later date. It's
amazing there's a constant flow of
people coming up to the store picking up
Donuts on the back of their scooters and
off they go and a few seconds later
another one appears.
