Episode 31 - The Coolest Tool - Duration: 5:11.

Hi, I'm Mike and this is Our Wyoming Life

I'm asked all the time about the tools that

I use while ranching, and there are a lot of them.

From tractors to balers and hammers and wrenches but last week I got a question in our mailbox

asking me what the coolest tool is that I get to use here on the ranch.

The answer to that question was simple to answer and I think it will really surprise

you.

In October of 2013 a freak blizzard hit Northeast Wyoming and South Dakota during the record

setting winter storm Atlas.

After days in the 70s and 80s the storm slammed in and caught a lot of ranchers, including

me unprepared.

The October 3rd storm brought 3 to 4 feet of snow following 2 inches of rain and cows

had yet to grow their winter coats that protect them from the wet snow that attacked their

bodies already chilled by freezing rain.

Cows went into survival mode, putting their head down and heading downwind, this caused

cows to walk over embankments or into creeks and ponds one after another, others were suffocated

by piling snow and some perished from hypothermia.

By the end of the storm the death toll topped 100,000 cows.

We lost a few also, our cows were still a few miles from home on their summer pasture

and rain softened the soil in some areas that the cows and calves couldn't get out of

it, many actually drowned as they were stuck in the mud and the snow buried them , crushing

them and pushing them into the wet soil underneath.

The cattle community came together and fundraisers were started, some ranchers lost their whole

herd with no way to get compensated or start over.

Luckily coming up on 4 years later, things have built back up and a lot of ranchers affected

by winter storm Atlas are still rebuilding, but just like us it seems like a never ending

project.

But, what does all this have to do with cool tools, well one tool in our tool box is there

to help us in a situation just like winter storm Atlas, and hopefully nothing like that

happens again soon, but we do get storms and snow and rain and that's where this comes

in.

It's a Flir thermal imager.

I had my first experience with thermal imaging in the military and after the storm of October

2013 I started thinking about how the technology could help ranchers, trust me, I didn't

have to think long.

It seemed like every time I turned around I found an application for thermal imaging.

Calving season is the big one.

With this I can pick out a calf laying in the grass from over a half of a mile away,

ascertain if the calves mom is around and see if the calf is moving or down.

I can scan our 400 acre calving pasture from multiple vantage points and reunite lost moms

with their calves.

Snow, Rain or shine, day or night and with an optical zoom I can get right up in a cows

business, literally.

So Travis from Yuma Arizona, you now have your answer, The coolest tool in my toolbox

is a Flir thermal imager.

I honestly don't know if they market these to ranchers, but they should because it gives

you the ability to see your herd like you never could before.

In order for ranching to continue to succeed it needs to embrace technology, my dad used

to keep track of herds of cattle with a notebook and a pencil, now we do it on computers with

cameras, but like with most family business sometimes technology takes a while to catch

on and that's ok.

I'll take my little wins but when flying cars come into production and are for sale

to the public, I will kick and scream like a 4 year old until I get one.

Be sure to subscribe if you like our channel and make sure your notifications are on so

that you don't miss and episode, while you are at it, feel free to comment, we always

answer them because if you take your time to join us and write us a little message we

can take our time for you also.

Have a great week, keep those questions coming and thanks for joining us in Our Wyoming Life.

15-Hour Filipino Food Tour in Pampanga & Manila, Philippines - HUGE LECHON with Makansutra! - Duration: 22:16.

- Good morning everyone, it's Mark Wiens.

I'm in Manila, Philippines and today I'm going a group

to go on an extreme food tour in Pampanga

which is a little north of Manila.

And Pampanga is known for it's food.

It is one the culinary, one of the food centers

of the Philippines.

And by the way, right now I'm in bathroom

because the baby is asleep in the room.

(playful music)

One of the main reasons that I came to the Philippines

this time was to join this event,

and this is put on by the World Street Food Congress

with KF Seetoh from Singapore and his team

which is called Makansutra.

It's preservation of local food in the country

and so it's gonna actually be a pretty big group

that's gonna be on this food tour.

So I'm gonna do my best to get as many video shots

as possible and I'll be filming myself

but it should be fun.

And I just saw on the release form

that it's a 15 hour food frenzy safari.

So we're gonna be eating a lot of local Filipino food today.

Ah!

Oh, that coffee is terrible.

This is from the hotel.

Oh wow, I don't even taste the coffee in there.

(playful music)

So actually our first stop is right in Manila.

We haven't driven yet to Pampanga.

And we're stopping at a place called

Bulaluhan sa Espana.

And we're here to eat a dish called bulalo.

Got the bulalo, there is some fried fish,

some other kind of deep fried thing

and then the other main dish is an eggplant

which has been flattened out into a complete flat

almost like pancake omelet looking.

- So where are you from?

- From Thailand.

- Thailand, oh we've been in Thailand last June.

- Good, good.

- And you are from?

- [Woman] From Thailand also.

- We're gonna have a lot of food today.

So I'm gonna just pace myself, I'm gonna have,

I'm starting off with just a little bit of rice.

I'm gonna start with this eggplant

and there's egg in here too right?

- [Woman] Yes.

- It's like a ...

Oh that's awesome.

Mm, it's like a crispy fried oily omelet.

But then the eggplant inside is really creamy

and really soft.

Oh that broth.

That is a really rich meaty meaty flavored broth

and it's quite salty as well.

Okay next I'm gonna try these little fish.

Oh yeah, those are just crispy all the way through.

They're salty, they are ...

Any kind of deep fried fish like that are fantastic.

- [Woman] Take all, take all.

- No, we gotta share it, we're gonna share it though right?

Who wants a healthy bone marrow?

Bulalo is known for it's bone marrow.

And so that's the main part of eating bulalo,

so I got the bone here, the bone marrow

and I'm just gonna pick this up.

Oh ho ho, look at that bone marrow.

Yeah, it's awesome.

It almost taste like, it almost has that texture

of scrambled eggs but more, more soft and like,

aw it just melts in your mouth.

Oh bone marrow is just one of the,

the ultimate meaty things to eat.

Oh and a hanging piece of beef as well.

That was absolutely delicious.

I actually really liked the eggplant, the eggplant omelet.

That was wonderful but in addition to that bone marrow,

what a wonderful gateway to start the day.

(upbeat music)

Just made it to Pampanga and we are stopping off.

This place is called Atching Lillian.

And this is a heritage, a legendary,

she's owns a private kitchen restaurant.

Really nice place, I think it's her house as well

and then she opens it as a restaurant.

I think you have to call ahead and reserve

kinda like private dining.

- These things have become iconic.

They are flavors that represent a country.

So this to me is heritage culinary culture.

- They have all the food setup open face style.

You go through the line and get all the food that you want.

I'm hanging out with Bowling.

- Hi. - She's also from Thailand.

- Yes. - And what's your Instagram?

- Eat and shout. - Eat and shout.

You gotta go check out her Instagram.

And she also loves to eat.

- Yeah, but Mark always hungry.

(laughing)

- And this is very traditional Pampangan cuisine.

I got one of everything, so there's different

types of cuisinos.

There's a blood dish.

This I what I'm looking forward to eating most,

which is a Pampangan tamale.

- Mm hmm, tamale.

- Do they call it tamales also?

- Just about. - Okay, and so I've eaten

Mexican tamales many many times.

But what's unique about this is that Mexican tamales

normally made with corn flour and then it's also

normally wrapped in a corn husk

before it is steamed and cooked.

But for the Filipino tamale it is made with rice flour

and it's wrapped in a banana leaf and then steamed.

So this is what I'm looking forward to eating most

off this whole plate.

You want to taste it too?

- Please go ahead.

- Alright, oh there's like a thick outer,

well there's like 10 layers of banana leaf.

That's a lot of banana leaf there.

It feels, oh there's egg in it too.

Aw check that out.

It feels kinda like jelly, it feels a little like jelly.

- Eat it.

- Yeah okay.

I think I just pick this up.

Mm, it has a very jelly texture.

It's kind of mild in flavor

but really really gelatinous and almost like

yeah, like jelly.

Compared to a corn tamale, this is very very

light and kinda like refreshing almost.

And another thing that I'm very interested to try

from this plate is a, is it a type of tocino?

- [Man] Yeah, I think it's carabao.

- Carabao. - Carabao meat.

- Okay, which is water buffalo, a water buffalo.

And looks kinda like skirt steak

kinda sticky in texture.

And very red in color.

Mm, oh it's really really rich.

It does have a sticky texture to it

but then at the same time you could taste like the meat is,

is pulled.

And it also has a nice sour taste to it.

That was really good.

And that's really some heritage traditional recipes

that she's cooking here and she's preserving the culture

and the food which is really awesome.

She's really nice.

Thank you very much, that was very nice.

I enjoyed it very much.

(playful music)

- Awesome man.

- Yup, you bet awesome.

If you don't have local friends you will

never never find this little gem of a spot.

- Definitely. - I have no idea where I am.

I just got out of a bus.

- (laughs) Awesome to be hanging out with Seetoh today.

- Yay.

- And we have made it to the next restaurant

which is called Taldawa.

- Taldawa.

- What are we eating here?

- Look at this, it's like a little,

I don't know, somebody's house.

- Oh this is very good. - Or somebody's courtyard.

Or somebody's village, check around.

They even have a basketball court here.

- [Mark] Love the atmosphere already.

- And it's a small little

charcoal kitchen down here.

You gotta take a look.

It's so authentic,

it's so charming. - They'd take your cooking?

- Yeah she's on there stewing this jet black pot of a,

she does a lot of stuff with goat and duck.

- I'm gonna see if I can take a look in the kitchen

real fast to see the cooking.

(chattering)

This is sinigang?

This entire area just smells like goat.

Oh it's a wonderful aroma.

I love it. - You know when you put goat

into a sinigang soup,

which is a national soup, it's a very sour soup.

Feel the beauty of how the gaminess of goat

is reduced with this charming sour soup,

it's so beautiful.

Have it over rice and you'll be crying in a while there.

- My mouth is watering thinking about it.

- Ah let's do this. - I can't wait to try it.

- [Woman] This one goat, yes.

- I'm gonna try take adobo first.

And this is adobo with duck.

Wow, oh that is so tender.

Aw, it's salty, it's a little bit sour,

and I think I could really taste the garlic in there.

(laughs)

Okay next up I'm gonna try the sinigang

which is goat, it's a goat sinigang.

Oh yeah.

I got a little bone shard in there, mm.

That's the type of dish that you know it's goat.

Yeah there's no denying the goatiness of that

and it is wonderful.

It has just a natural goat kinda taste to it.

The broth is a little bit sour

and you can also tell that it's just been boiled

for many many hours so that the meat is tender.

And then the flavor of the meat has just sort of

completely gone into that broth as well.

So it's really rich and a little bit oily

and delicious as well.

Then the final dish is the kaldereta.

Oh yeah, oh that goat is so tender.

It does tastes like a stew, like a tomatoey stew.

There' carrots in there, there's potatoes in there

but it's all about that goat that's just so tender

and so meatily flavorful.

Oh yeah, oh yeah the heart is awesome.

It's a little bit,

just has a slight rubbery texture to it.

You like the heart also?

- Yeah, this is the first thing I'd take.

- Oh yeah, there's a couple of hearts in there.

- Yeah right.

- The heart is one of the best single bites

of the entire bird.

What do you call it in tagalog?

- This? Balunbalunan.

- [Mark] Ba-lune-ba-lune.

- Balunbalunan.

- [Mark] Ba-lune-ba-luna.

- Nan.

- [Mark] Balunbalunan.

- Yes. - Okay.

(giggling) - Gizzard.

- Gizzard, mm, delicious.

- You know, you can find great restaurants

anywhere in the world but this, only here.

And her dish is distinctly Philippines.

So this is why I celebrate humble home cooks like this.

- This is the highlight of this food tour for me so far.

Really good food, love the atmosphere, this type of place.

Oh I better not get hit by a car.

But it's also one of those successful meals

where it feels like you're wearing lip gloss

because of that natural oiliness of that goat.

(playful music)

- Next restaurant we're going to is called 25 Seeds.

And this is a Filipino restaurant

but it's a modern Filipino restaurant.

The chef who owns this restaurant who is a really cool guy,

he's been with us on this food trip

and this is his restaurant that we're gonna try out next.

(native tribal music)

(cheering)

- Well this is organic corn.

And then we added some designated coconut.

And a little bit of salt.

That's it, so pure so you could taste the real corn flavor.

You're really focusing on the ingredients.

Yeah, and this is a dying recipe.

- Oh so this is a traditional--

- Very difficult to find this one.

- It's a traditional Filipino recipe.

- Yes, they want to bring them back.

- Cool alright.

Wow!

Okay next up, this is the Filipino soft tofu.

And it's so soft that you can drink it with a straw.

(live instrumental music)

Chef Sau is getting ready to prepare his paella sisig

which is a combination of paella and sisig

and the first time ever presented.

- We gotta review the caramelization, the sweet flavor of,

and then we use margarine.

- [Spectator] Woo!

- And then we put all the pork.

Some more pork.

- And then he tossed in the rice, coated it,

mixed it with all the rice.

Then he topped it with banana leaves

and it steamed and baked sort of at the same time.

The smells, the porky smells are just unbelievable.

Chef just dished me a portion.

I came outside here on the balcony

to get some better lighting.

Oh that's beautiful.

And I'm gonna just quickly to begin with

I will squeeze on that kalamansi.

(room chattering)

And I want to take a bite with everything in it.

Get some of those chillis in there.

Wow.

Oh what a dish.

The rice is gooey but then it's broken.

The texture is broken by the little bits of pig face

which are slightly cartilagey in texture.

And then you've got the chili in there,

the freshness of the kalamansi.

That is just like a casserole but a glorious casserole.

I had to get another scoop of the paella.

And then also got some of the chicken,

some of the other dishes, some shrimp.

And then they also have kare-kare,

a Filipino peanut curry with seafood.

And I will begin actually with this mussel,

I added some of the kare-kare sauce into the mussel.

So I will drink and slurp.

(live guitar music)

Mm, that's quite a sweet peanut sauce.

Hello, how are you man?

Nice to meet you.

That was an absolutely amazing dish.

And we are now walking through Pampanga

on our way to the next restaurant.

- We here for a 15 hour.

Hey why, join me, join me.

- Next up, we are at Susie's Cuisine

and this is another legendary restaurant in Pampanga.

We are eating mostly a selection of desserts.

They have most of their signature desserts

laid out on the table.

I'm not hugely into desserts but I will take a bite

of a couple of their signature desserts.

This is one of their signature desserts,

it's called tibok tibok.

And it's kinda like a pudding,

it think it's made from goat milk.

Oh yeah.

Oh wow and it tastes of coconut too.

And then it's like a really really thick sticky

pudding like consistency.

Next one I'm trying is call sapin-sapin.

Sticky consistency, it's pretty sweet.

A couple bites of sweet desserts for me

and I'm just about good.

That was a little too sweet for me

but you have to try some traditional desserts.

We're walking back to the bus now

and we are driving back to Manila

and gonna eat some more food.

(upbeat music)

Traffic was an absolutely nightmare coming into Manila.

Uh but we just came to this gigantic Mega Mall.

And we are next going to Makansutra

which is Seetoh's project and his hawker food court.

I'm hungry, it's been so long since we ate.

Look at all of this amazing food and a lot of it is

Singaporean Malaysian food.

There's some clay pot rice.

What's up, yeah.

There is some um--

- Hello!

(room chattering)

I'm gonna try this satay right here, right now.

Oh yeah.

Oh the cumin on there is wonderful.

Clay pot rice is one of the ultimate comfort foods.

Oh yeah, oh indeed.

That is ridiculously comforting.

All the smokiness, that's really really good.

And really hot and fresh.

(playful music)

We are walking now to the final destination

on this extreme Filipino food tour day

and saving the ultimate for the last.

- Whoa, oh look at that.

(pigskin crunching)

- The sound of love.

(crowd awing)

Everybody, one, two, three.

- [All] Whoa!

- Everywhere in the Philippines they have their

own version of lechon which is the roast pig.

And each region I think has their own recipe

and their own style of cooking a lechon.

But one of the most famous and the most beloved

in all of the Philippines is in Cebu.

And so this is one of the best places to eat lechon in Cebu

but they have just opened a branch in Manila.

- [Both] Cheers.

- Hmm mm. - Ho ho ho ho.

- Kra-maa! - Oh mah!

- Crunchy.

- Oh it's ridiculously crunchy.

- Mm mm.

- Oh, oh that's insane. - Unbelievable yeah?

- That's insane. - Mm.

- It's so crispy, it's actually like

one of the crispiest things you could possible eat

in the whole world.

It is just insane.

That's like a crispiness that you never want it to end.

(laughing)

- He's suppose to tilt his head.

Yeah, and then close his eyes.

Okay close eyes, that's how good it is.

Oh man.

(Mark laughs)

- Wow, wow.

(Seetoh groans)

(laughing)

- You gotta tilt, you gotta tilt. (laughs)

Let me taste the meat real fast.

How is the meat?

- [Seetoh] Oh it was also the meat.

- I haven't even made it to the meat yet.

(Mark giggling)

- [Woman] How?

- You could just taste all of those herbs.

You can taste the lemongrass just embedded into that meat.

This is one of those pieces of meat

that you just actually wanna, you barely even wanna chew.

You just want to leave it in your mouth and just suck on it.

(Woman laughing)

The contrast of the most crispy thing

you could possibly put in your mouth

with the most creamy tender thing

you could possibly put in your mouth

both together at once.

Yeah, it's insane.

It's juicing in my mouth right now.

- Thank you my friend.

You survived, you did it,

you did it. - Yeah.

The Commando Foodie.

Survived the food challenge.

- [Seetoh] No kidding huh, no kidding the real deal.

- 15 hour food frenzy.

(Seetoh laughing)

That was awesome. - Bravo.

- The baby is sleeping again so I'm in the bathroom again.

But I want to just say a big thank you to Seetoh,

to the whole Makansutra team

and the World Street Food Congress

and everyone who helped put that food tour together

and organized everything.

That was fantastic.

And it was a lot of fun to meet a lot of other food lovers

and to just hang out and eat.

Tony Robbins: The One Key To Success (Tony Robbins Unshakeable) - Duration: 7:26.

the philosophy called stretching that

you must decide to live buys you really

want ultimate success in your life

stretching says this one of my first

teachers taught me this if you can't

because I believe that ideas simple

little distinctions can change the

quality of our life in a heartbeat that

you know one day you get a new belief

and maybe that new belief is that the

past does not equal the future so that's

a pretty simple idea it is but for most

people they always don't try things they

don't go for it likely to go wrong never

succeed in the past I can't now if

anytime you say well I can't do this and

you don't follow through it's like

you're not living your real potential is

if you ever say I can't do this then you

absolutely must do it if you're

admitting the limitation you don't need

to have as it was I mean if I can jump

up equipment I must he said no be

intelligent he said but if you ever find

something that by doing it it could make

you more of a person more powerful more

benevolent more loving more strong more

resourceful you don't do it you're

cheating yourself in everybody around so

are we going to consider living in it

and I'm going to tell you if there's any

one philosophical philosophical shift

that changed my life it's in that one

because anybody who knows me will tell

you there's one thing that Tony does

good stretch that's what I do on a

regular basis and it's shaped my whole

life that's why I get to talk to you

right now because one of the times when

I feel like I just can't do it I can't

go into my step I can't push any more

energy on I can't do anything that my

brain goes in your class and I go for it

and as a result I discover who I really

am just as you do and know that with

each action you take through building to

a brand new future my definition of

success changed through the years to

doing what I want when I want where I

want with whomever I want as much as I

want in a way that hopefully also

benefit other people from obtaining so

that's to me is ultimate through the net

success that was my idea success I'd

have that in my life and I wanted it

again so I thought okay what I need to

learn is what it's for all these things

you can do this this is this and there's

all these different elements you can

study I want to know one thing what's

the one thing if you just work on that

everything else will fall into place

what is the number one key to all

success that's all I wanted to do so I

went around I started setting I started

picking up books and have you ever done

this have you ever asked yourself a

question picked up a book open to like

maybe the middle of a book and there's

the exact answer you were looking for

how many got experience like that so

here I am

and sure enough I'm reading through this

book and I opened up wham-o says the

number one key to all success is almost

the very way I'd languages my head so I

thought sure enough here it is golde say

I think that's true because even one

have a goal you have no reason to use

your skill or ability or that old phrase

that said what man without a goal is

like a ship without a rudder you both

end up on the rocks kind of corny the

truth about that is if the number one

key to success is goal-setting of course

I'm a good student to always read

another book the second book says forget

goal-setting both endings nice that that

is not in and say goal to your blue

- you're blue in the faith which you

gotta learn to do in your life as

manager time we can have great goals but

if you don't manage your time time is

the only resource you can control it is

your life I thought that's true the

number one key to all success time

management

let's go about a third book that forget

time management forget goals a whole key

to it all is disappoint you can play

with your time management all day long

with you can't get some in yourself

you've got nothing that's truly

difficult till I read a boards book

which says forget the fun forget time I

fit all except it's all bleep because if

your discipline but you don't believe

it's going to work get one or if you're

the guys won't be working now by the way

which one of these is true the number

one foundation for all

thank you all up in fact that list

doesn't end here does it so I can't me

press react like God how do you work on

all these things simultaneously I want

to know the one thing that you worked on

this alone everything else to fall into

place I searched and I searched my

interview people it's a one day I came

across the number one key to all success

in life if you're interested my one item

only if you're interested in the number

one key to all success in life if not no

bother jot it down the answer I came up

with the number one key to all success

is knowledge knowledge I said certainly

people who succeed they know things that

other people just don't know that's why

there's so much more successful but

knowledge is it and as soon as I wrote

down knowledge of my notes I cross it

out cuz that's definitely not it how

could you even write that down come on

you got to know better than that see if

it was knowledge and everybody who's

educated would be successful you know

that's not true

right how many of you in this room how

many of you people in this room right

now know somebody who should change

their life they know we should change

the light even know how they could

change their life but they still don't

do it how are you know something like

this maybe intimately that's right your

knowledge of ourselves not enough the

knowing is great but it's not enough

knowledge is not power knowledge is

information how or something else and

what I think is the really number one

key to all success is something I call

personal power this is really it jot it

down

personal power that to me is the single

number one foundational to all success

if you use it you can get everything

else that you want personal power means

the ability to take action to follow

through to take the steps that are

necessary to take an idea and translate

it into reality and it's the number one

tool that most people like never

exercise and forget that every one of us

has right now and in any one where life

even if you haven't used this gift for

20 years right now by one decision you

can start using your power you can start

following through you can take this idea

in your head and turn it into physical

reality whether that idea is how you

want to make your relationship or how

you

influencer children or the kind of money

you want to make or a business you want

to start it doesn't matter it is

available right now all you do is decide

and then follow through and go put Tony

what if I do all that stuff and it

doesn't work guess what you'll learn

something

The first recordings for our new album - Rapalje Show episode 9 - Duration: 5:21.

In this video we show you how to do the first recordings for our new album

What shall we drink for seven days? What shall we drink we are so thirsty!

There is enough for everyone so we can drink together

So broach the barrel We drink together, not alone

There is enough for everyone so we can drink together

So broach the barrel We drink together, not alone

Hello, I'm Maceál, welcome to The Rapalje Show

Last weekend, I got this T-shirt from The Cobblestones

These guys are from Berlin in Germany and they gave me this T-shirt

It was the only size they had left and thought that a size

Small would fit me

Well, it does fit me, but it's a bit tight

But now I know that if you want to send a band t-shirt

It doesn't matter if it's size small to large or extra-large

I will put it on anyway

And if you want to send a t-shirt or something for the cupboard behind me

The address is in the description below

The Cobblestones are a band that plays

Celtic music like we do

Scottish and Irish songs

And we know them from many festivals

in the last couple of years

Check them out in our description.

We have a playlist with this band as well

Last week, I told you how we find our music and how we arrange it

And now we will show you how we record it in our home studio.

If you want to follow the whole process

Of us doing the recordings of our new album.

You can subscribe to our channel now

and we keep you updated from week to week

How this process evolves

Right now We will start the recording

with the basic

Of a song

And it's depending on who is playing which instrument

and how this song is build up

For some songs somebody of us can play alone

The other ones are playing with two or maybe even three persons

And this first song we recorded is played by William and Dieb together

And they will play the basic tracks of this song

and later me and David will join this recording session

This is a different approach to what we did in

The recordings of our home videos which you get when you subscribe to our newsletter

in this videos we played all four together

with only one stereo microphone

The only difference is that we don't get as much control over our recordings

than if we record it all separately

We're separate tracks with more control over the sound of our new recordings

if you have any questions about the recordings

we're going to do the next couple of weeks

Then please ask me in the comment section below

and I will answer every question you will have and respond on your messages

Before Dieb and William can record this song

They first have to put on new strings on their instruments

We need new strings to be sure that the tuning stays steady

And also to get a more clear sound

It's easier to get clarity out of the recordings if we did want it

then add it to them

And to break in the strings

they first pull them and then they play it

very loud!

Shaolin Kung Fu Tutorial #4 - Learn basic punch techniques beginners - Part 2 - Duration: 2:17.

Another thing, that's important to recognize is if you make many punches

your arm should never be completely stretched out,

because you put very much force into your arm into the the acceleration movement and

if you then stop and

your arm is fully stretched out

all of the force created goes right into your joint, into your elbow

and if you make very many punches

this can actually

hurt you and ruin your your elbow. So a

simple thing to prevent this is to never stretch your arm is completely out

so

What does this do?

You stop nearly before arm is stretched out and

catch the whole Force with your muscles

The muscles can take it the joint can't . This is how you prevent

you from hurting yourself with the punch. Also make sure that

the force comes out of your body, if you go slightly into your knees and

turn your whole body especially your hips

it are hips that make the whole Movement and

make the whole force of the punch.

So go slightly into your knees, go into stance, you push your whole body with your hips and

then

transform the force into a force in your fist. With this your

punch becomes faster and more powerful like this

So now try it out several times and

see how it goes. Also in all techniques of wushu the force of the

first comes out of the body. So if we are in mabu stance and then go into gong bu stance

we also take the rotation of our body

to move the force into our fists like this

That was my tutorial for how to punch correctly. I hope you enjoyed it, and we'll see you next time

MY BROTHER DOES MY MAKEUP! | BarsaThapa - Duration: 15:10.

so what kind of makeup look are you going for today?

i don't really know about any looks but i'm going to trust my instinct

now what do i do, should i wipe your face?

so i applied the cream, is it the brush next

you really don't know anything?

you don't watch my videos?

no, i don't

wow..

so you're going to use the brush with no product?

didn't i just put a whole lot of cream on your face

oh okay

you put this on your eyes right

i'm pretty sure you use this

first of all, what kind of eye look is it?

what do you mean by smokey

a bit less product please

i think it looks fine now

i'm going to use darker colors on the lower part of your eyes

no i'm just saying

omg don't poke my eyes please

ohhh so this is like eyeliner?

i don't know

do nicely

our prides are in stake

i'm going with a lighter color on top and a darker on the bottom

omg you look so weird

first, tell them what you're doing

i'm just blending

it's turning out to be something better than what i expected

hmm

we will see

can i say one thing? you used another color for the other eye

seriously what

its fine, no problem

woahhh

wait

where do i look

you're bringing it straight to my eye

close your eyes

close my eyes?

i think the eye work is all done, or is there anything else?

okay..i guess its done

what is this then?

let's go to the lips now

are you about to get done?

what else is left then?

oh yeahhh contouring something

open it carefully, it will spill

okay so where do you put this?

is something happening?

yes i can see the..

what effects

okay so this is contouring?

so what is it?

this is called highlighter

where do you put this?

all over the face

do i use my hands to blend it

why are you sweating?

no

what do i use?

are you nervous

just say what do i use?

you've not watched even one bit of my videos?

no i haven't

i am so disappointed

no wonder i don't get any views

just say

this one?

sure

what sure?

your brushes will be spoiled

no, ill wash them

i think i'll use my hands to blend

omg you're doing it so harshly

is there any change?

ofcourse

do i look prettier

yeah

you can choose any lipstick color you want

before that you use something to draw on the outer part of your lips, what is that

which shade is it?

it's down here

is it going well?

where are you gonna apply it?

on the cheeks, where else

omg this brush of mine is probably like 100 years old

it didn't blend, am i supposed to use my fingers?

now what else is left

something that's really important in my makeup

how would i know your important thing

it's something i don't have at all, and i literally draw them

do it properly

what does it do

it's what it does

"roll over it"

no but how to use all of this makeup

what is it? show it to the camera

why use it

well do you have superglue?

um this is the eyelash glue

i'll help you to apply the glue

i'll show you which one is for the left eye and for the right

omg

do you wear it on your lower or upper lash line?

of course on the upper

you literally stuck it without giving any thoughts

without even telling

uh my eyes are getting stuck together

really

oh now they're open

shall i open my eyes now

yeah okay

i feel like you've placed it further up on my eyes

or something else

there's the mirror

i look like a clown

i thought you would apply the lipstick properly

you look good

do you wanna know what i'm disappointed with the most

i got like slight glimpse of me

no i really mean it

lets go show your mom

NORDIC WARE EGG BOILER MICROWAVE EGG COOKER | VIVIAN TRIES | TESTING EGG GADGETS - Duration: 7:20.

Wow how easy that is to crush that egg

they just but I love you guys and

welcome back to another Vivian Tries

today we are trying an egg gadget yes

you guys remember a couple of weeks back

we did is the dash rapid egg cooker which

worked like a dream I was so impressed

with the soft-boiled eggs it made, so

today I have two gone and something

similar to that that this one is that a

plugin it is actually one you put in the

microwave isn't that cool

same idea except it's placed in the

microwave I love it that's what I

thought the dash rapid egg cooker did I

actually thought it was a microwave

product but it wasn't you had to plug it

in for that one word but I'm really

excited about this one because you just

stick it in the microwave and you're

done now it still takes the same amount

of time which you would think since it's

in the microwave that it would should

almost dropped my eyes I have four eggs

right here you would think because it

was a microwave product it would cook faster

but how ocean how cute this egg look how

funny so this is like a little metal

thing can after that in the microwave

well I'm scared I thought you couldn't

put like aluminum or metal in the

microwave that's what I've been taught

like but it says right there look micro

ware is what it says right better not

explode you see that it's even metal

inside looks okay and then on the

outside it's just plastic it's kind of

cheap looking it wasn't very expensive I

don't remember how much I paid for this

okay so it holds four eggs and a cup and

half of water which that's the water one

or two on the box are read a cup and a

half of water four minutes

that's wrong it was a half a cup and a

half of water five to seven minutes for

soft-boiled eight to ten minutes for

hard-boiled yeah cooked in the microwave

easy-peasy

so we're going to do four eggs cut

behalf of water and we'll do it for six

minutes how about that so we'll get a

soft-boiled egg okay so I'm going to

zoom in so you guys can see me put it

all together

right here the three pieces that's the

bottom piece that you fill with water it

has the aluminum kind of covered thing

and then we have the little tray thing that

holds

the eggs I the eight eggs before a I

have four eggs here and I have my gloves

I have some water

we're going to fill it in it I have a

water level line the same but a lot of

water for for little eggs

remember the rapid dash one alright as I

did it more the rapid dash egg cooker

that one took like a couple of drops of

water to work this one has taken a cup

and a half that's a lot of water okay

then you put the little tray there you

know we're going to put our eggs and

this one didn't come with a little you

know how the other one we had if we

gotta put holes in these these pebbles

in my life away if I'm not going hold on

them when we check the box because

cooking times may vary it doesn't say

anything about poking a hole in these so

I'm not going to poke a hole in them so

they didn't say that okay when you close

it like that okay cool there it is

go put it in the microwave six minutes

okay the gloves on because it is ready

and I need to make sure that over on my

hands okay let me go get the giant egg

Adam on my boy let's go God like a it's

like a spaceship or something it's so

good okay that is really hot okay now

how am I going to take the okay the

interview difficult

how am i I can't do it off with my

gloves but it's hot so whoa that's

really hot thank you so much probably

supposed to whoa

okay well this one's a scary product

because there's still a lot of boiling

water in there are my gloves back on I

don't know why do the machina

I there's no way I'm going to be able to

pop off that lid with these giant gloves

okay wait I don't know this is safe

either but here let's do this

here we go okay pop top Oh hold on and

put it back down down okay

just for safety reasons I'm not sure I

like it there are my four little eggs

they did not explode okay really quick I

want to take him out of here put them

right there

on these gloves and not easy to work

with I want to see how much water is

left in here there's a lot of water left

in there what do you guys think oh yeah

look at all that water still tons of

water okay good luck I just wanted to

see that okay really crazy okay so now

let's move this guy right here let's

crack this guy right here on the counter

oh wait a second oh I don't think that's

cooked son of a always I just blew it is

guys it is cooked okay nice nice nice

did work again Wow look how easy that is

to crush that egg they just busted in my

hand okay so it was really soft cooked I

needed to cook that for way longer that

is practically raw I mean maybe that's

what you guys consider soft-boiled six

minutes in the microwave it's a little

too raw for me alright guys so was a

very impressive this thing at all

to be honest with you it's not worth the

money go ahead and spend a little bit

extra and purchase the - rapid egg

cooker that thing works like a charm I

asked

we love it it's totally worth it the

same not so much a little bit of a waste

of money but I guess if you want to try

it you can I wouldn't buy it again so

I'm going to give this guy to baby in

head I wasn't impressed with it maybe I

just had super high expectations because

the rapid egg Cooper works so

beautifully but this one was kind of a

fail

alright you guys that is it for another

Viviane tribe I hope that you have

Are All Introverts Loners? | The Myths of Introversion - Episode 4 | LegacyOfJames - Duration: 3:15.

it only took me until episode 4 to start

doing some actual myth-busting better

late than never

yes it is that time of the week once

again hello everybody and welcome to

episode 4 the myths of introversion this

week I will be looking at three common

myths going around about introverts and

will attempt to dispel them so myth

number one numero uno introverts are

arrogant are they it is true that

introverts can come across as a bit cold

in aloof at times but this is usually

down to the fact that introverts are

preoccupied with thinking and processing

information internally introverts tend

to keep to themselves around people that

they aren't close to and are very

cautious about the unknown this can make

them appear standoffish at times but

this should not be taken personally if

introverts don't interact with you it

doesn't mean that they don't like you or

they think that they're above you it

just means that they're still cautious

of you well that or they just want to

keep it themselves so are introverts

arrogant

no they're just socially cautious moving

on to myth number two introverts are

rude surly and ill-mannered you wot mate

well it is true that introverts can be

very blunt at times and can appear

slightly bored and impatient but this is

usually down to the fact that the small

talk that takes place during most social

interactions really disinterests them

introverts are also drained by being

around people too long this not only

makes them appear rude but also avoidant

especially when they turn down

invitations to social events so are

introverts rude and ill-mannered

to a certain extent yes but not

deliberately so it is an unfortunate

quirk of their natural temperaments very

rarely does an introvert deliberately

intend to be rude they are socially

selective shall we say so moving on to

the third and final myth that I'm going

to cover in this video

introverts are loners so are all

introverts loners no the majority of

introverts don't always like to be alone

most introverts will have one or two

friends that they really enjoy spending

time with but only at certain times and

only to certain levels

so although introverts thrive on alone

time they do value small doses of social

activity

so while introverts loners no they're

just easily drained by social activity

and that's it for this week's episode in

the next episode I will go over three

more common myths of introversion so I

hope you will join me to that thank you

so much for watching and I'll see you

next week
