Nightcrawlers, Strange Creatures Captured on Video in California - Duration: 2:27.

Welcome to the Mundo Misterioso channel, I'm Tom and today you'll learn about two

recorded video sightings of the creatures known as

nightcrawlers, watch now, in Casos Misteriosos.

The first recorded sighting of these strange bipedal creatures happened in the American

state of California, in the city of Fresno, in the year 2007, when a man named Jose

awoke around two o'clock in the morning because of the barking of dogs, he had problems

with robbers in his house recently and so he had installed security cameras

Welcome to another video of fantasy lab

Today I will review this book

Life and Death by Stephenie Meyer

Disclamer: This book was given to me by the greek publisher

But my opinions are solely mine

Firstly, let me tell you some things about this book

It is the known book Twilight of Shephenie Meyer

But with a little twist on the gender of the characters

Both on main and on other characters

I had many problems with book,

The first was that the writer had made a prologue

saying that she made this book to thanks the fans

okay, I understand that

But also because they had mentioned to her in a lot of interviews

that Bella was helpless as a character

and she always needed the help of Edward ans the rest o f the vampires

But she believed that it would be the same if Bella was a boy

and Personally I didn't like that

Because it was like she was trying to prove

That either way it didn't matter

The story was about the same

there is a twist in the story that I liked

Because I had thought of that when I read it

My biggest problem was with Bo

He was so awkard as a character

and I couldn't read about him

Bella was awkard too but Bo was worse

On the contrary, I prefered Idith as a vampire

She seemed to me to be more passionate as a character

She was more tempting and for some reason more dangerous

I also expected to see Bo having some difficulty accepting that Idith was the"protector"

and then during the book he could overcome his complexes

in that way I could see his character development

that he is more grown

But instead Bo ignored such matters

But in my opinion for a seventeen year old boy his way of thiking should be different

If I was a boy and

and the girl told me to ride her back

it would be strange to me, I would say no

I would be like....why?

But Bo, he thought it liitle and then he rided her back

and you know the rest from the movie

It seemed to me in this moment that the writer

wanted to leave the matter as it was and continue with the story

Even though I expected the story to be the same

I wanted some parts to be a bit more different

like adding a few more scences

or something like that

Twilight is the first young adult book

that now is develepoed

This book introduces the first love triangle

and then there was a milenia of them

to that degree that now is overrated

and most of the books don't include them

I would recommend this book to hard core funs of twilight

or someone who feels nolstagic about this series

I would ignore the prologue of the writer

I would read it and think about the olt times

ahhh...twilight

How old was I then?

I don't remember

I was younger

And I would recommend it to younger people that me

like teenagers I believe they will like it

For me, it's a part of my life that has ended

I read more adult books for young adults readers

Hey, guys.

I'm making a trip home to America.

That was faster than I thought.

Since I'm home now,

it seems like a good time to continue exploring the topic "Normal in Vietnam, weird elsewhere."

That is, I'm going to talk once again about things like showing off your belly,

drinking beer with ice,

and going to extra classes,

which the entire Vietnamese community have accepted as completely normal,

but which an American like me can't help finding a bit odd.

The point of this video isn't to criticize the Vietnamese way of life,

nor is it to praise the American way of life,

but rather just to explore the differences between the two places.

And our exploration is going to begin at the cinema.

"high-class cinema-going"

If you were to ask me where to find the best-dressed people in any given town in America,

I . . .

wouldn't know,

because Americans typically make the effort to dress up about once or twice a year.

However, if you were to ask me the same question about a town in Vietnam,

I would know the answer instantly:

the movie theater!

I mean, really, just look at how fabulous these people look.

And they don't just dress up. They also get their cameras out and pose for a bunch of pictures,

like they're at some big, memorable event.

A movie theater here in American doesn't look quite the same.

To give you an idea of just how different things are here,

my cousin and his family have a tradition of going out to the movies on Christmas day.

And what do they wear?

Their pajamas.

So this is what their pictures look like.

"fast choice" restaurants

I've mentioned in some previous videos, I love the food in Vietnam.

But sometimes Westerners like me feel a little uncomfortable eating at restaurants there,

because the servers always bring the menus over,

and then just stand there waiting for you to choose.

Here's how it goes in America:

The server brings the menu over, says:

"I'll give you a few minutes to decide."

and then walks away while you choose.

It seems like a pretty reasonable system,

and I can't really figure out what's going on in Vietnam.

Like, is it that Vietnamese people have some preternatural ability

to instantly choose that they want out of a menu?

Or is it just that they don't mind being stared at by a stranger for a few minutes while they decide?

Whatever the reason,

if you happen to work in a restaurant and you ever get Western customers,

try doing what I just mentioned:

Say,

"I'll give you a few minutes to decide,"

and then walk away.

They'll think you're the coolest server in all of Vietnam.

"misplaced street lights"

When I first started riding a motorbike around Hanoi, it was fun but also stressful, for a number of reasons:

other motorbikes carrying big loads of steel,

idiots texting while riding,

and also, stopping at intersections and looking around like:

"Wait, where's the light? How do I know when to go?"

I'm not sure, this might be something you only find in Hanoi, and not other Vietnamese cities,

but there are a surprising number of intersections there

where the stop light is installed on the near side of the cross street,

so if you're stopped right on the stop line in the middle of the street,

you can't see the light at all.

Now, most of those intersections do have that little red cross thing on the far side,

so you can see that,

but that just makes the whole thing even stranger to me,

because someone obviously realized that there needs to be something on the far side for people to see,

so why not just install both stop lights on that side to begin with?

There must be some reason for it that I just don't know about, like . . .

feng shui?

"cannabis clothes"

Probably the funniest thing about living in Asia

is seeing people wearing clothes printed with ridiculous English that they don't understand,

like the time my wife's sister was wearing a shirt that said "FAT DOG."

But something that's stranger to me are all the clothes and hats you see in Vietnam that are printed with pot leaves.

And you typically see, like, high school students and really innocent-looking girls wearing them.

For a long time, I just assumed that they didn't know what that leaf was,

but then one time I asked my wife's other sister:

"Do you know what leaf that is on your bag there?"

And she said:

"Yeah, it's marijuana."

The thing is, if you wear clothes with pot leaves on them in America,

people will assume not only that you smoke pot,

but also that you really, really like it

and identify with the culture of smoking pot,

like this guy.

So if you're planning on traveling to America at some point,

and you don't want people to think you're a pot smoker,

you might want to leave your favorite pot leaf hat at home.

"ultra-specific universities"

Over the past four years in Hanoi, I've had a lot of English students—

more than I can remember—

but while my students are in my class, I try to learn some things about them,

like where they're from and what they do.

But when it comes to university students and the schools they go to,

it's really hard to keep track.

I study at the University of Industry and Commerce.

I study at the University of Technology, Industry, and Economics.

I study at the University of Economics and Commerce.

Okay, I kind of made those ones up,

but, seriously, Hanoi has so many universities,

and they're so specific.

I mean, just look at these.

The University of Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention.

The University of Social Sciences and the Humanities.

The University of Transport Technology.

Jesus!

Is is really necessary to have separate universities for each of those things?

I mean, if you look at a large city in the US, like New York,

there are a lot of universities and colleges,

but they tend to have pretty general names:

And they tend to be pretty general in nature.

Like, at Gonzaga University behind me,

you can study accounting, education, nursing, or theater arts.

But, hey, if the super specific universities in Vietnam are working for you guys,

I guess there's no need to change anything.

I have been thinking, when I get back to Hanoi, I might open . . .

Anyone want to apply?

"pizza with tomato sauce to the second power"

Okay, I just got this pizza delivered to my front door here in Hanoi,

and even though I haven't opened the box yet,

I can still tell you something that's going to be inside, other than just pizza.

Ketchup, oooooooh.

Now let's go look at a pizza in America.

Okay, I just got my pizza from Bennedito's, a local Spokane favorite,

aaaand . . .

no ketchup to be found.

Now, I've been told that there are some other places where people often put ketchup on pizza.

but I had never seen it until I came to Vietnam.

And the reason it seems particularly weird to me—

despite the fact that I just don't like ketchup very much—

is that pizza already has tomato sauce on it,

so putting another tomato sauce on top just seems redundant,

like dipping apples in honey

or wearing a raincoat while also using an umbrella,

or watching a movie on your laptop and your TV at the same time.

This is awesome!

"beautiful numbers"

I still remember, there was a really exciting time in my journey of learning Vietnamese

when I could start to understand signs out on the street,

like, "Oh, 'eyeglasses,'"

or, "Oh, 'low prices,'"

or, "Oh, 'pissing prohibited.'"

But there was one thing that I kept on seeing and kind of understood, but didn't really.

"Beautiful numbers."

"Beautiful numbers."

"Beautiful numbers."

"Beautiful numbers?" What?

I had to ask my Vietnamese teacher what it was all about,

and when she explained it, I only found it stranger,

because, first of all, where I'm from, you never choose a phone number.

You buy a phone, you get a number, and that's it.

And the idea that someone would pay extra for one of these "beautiful numbers?"

That's even stranger.

And compounded upon that is I often find these beautiful numbers really hard to read.

When I see a number like this, for example, I have to look really closely, and be like:

"Wait, how many 8s is that?"

So, personally, I find that your "số đẹp" are in fact

"số xấu" ("ugly numbers").

"drinking warm water"

Water, of course, is the source of life,

but you might find that different countries enjoy it in different ways.

For example, most Westerners in Vietnam have probably had the unpleasant experience

of asking for a glass of water in someone's home

and getting something about as warm as bath water.

Most of us have grown up drinking water that's always cold, or at least cool.

But the thing that's even stranger to me than the warm water itself is the supposed reason for it:

Oh, if you drink cold water you'll get a sore throat, Dan.

What?

Okay, probably every culture in the world has some superstitions and misconceptions about illness—

like some Americans still believe that a cold is actually caused by cold weather itself, rather than by viruses—

so please don't think that I'm judging Vietnamese people when I say this,

but I just want to tell you guys, in case you don't already know,

sore throats are not caused by drinking cold water.

"Most sore throats are caused by viruses, and the remainder are caused by bacterial infections

or exposure to chemicals."

I'll make you this deal to prove it:

I'll drink this entire cup of really cold water,

and if tomorrow I have a sore throat, I'll send each of you five dollars.

"But you're a Westerner, Dan. You're used to it."

No. As far as I know, there's nothing in the world that works that way.

you're not going to get immune to it.

You're going to get a sore throat every time.

remain completely detached or whatever

that negative tirade starts just smile

and don't say anything we may completely

detached from it and don't get involved

leave the room some negative people are

simply seeking to get a reaction from

you that's why they feed on that don't

let them catch you in their web of

negativity because soon as they do

that's when I start draining your energy

alright number three interrupt their

negative pattern here's the deal we all

have a braw program let's face the truth

we all have a negative program however

there are people who unfortunately run

this program way too much when they

approach you with their negativity

interrupt them ask them a question share

how you enjoyed your weekend or some

other life event that you had this may

appear to be rude but it's not you're

helping this person break their negative

program number four don't take it

personally but know that sometimes it

personal conventional wisdom suggests

that you should never take things

personally when you deal with a negative

person I think it's a little more

complicated than that

you can't write off everything someone

says just because the person is

insensitive or they're tactless even

abrasive person may have a valid point

so try to weigh the comments with a

willingness to learn accept that you

don't deserve that excessive emotion in

someone's tone but weigh their ideas and

their and your willingness to learn from

that ok so some of the most important

lessons I've learned have come from

things or people and I wish weren't

right but there were alright number 5

manage your own emotional state if

you're not in your best emotional state

you need to change it otherwise if a

negative person comes near you by you

you might find yourself getting negative

enjoying forces with the negative now

who's a negative person don't wait for

this to happen

manage your emotional state prevent any

intrusion excellent so if you liked my

Satellites Help Predict North Korean Nuclear Tests (HBO) - Duration: 4:37.

North Korea launched another ballistic missile this weekend.

And today, Pyongyang claimed it's a new kind of missile that can carry,

quote, "a heavy nuclear warhead."

This was North Korea's tenth missile test so far in 2017,

and experts have warned that a nuclear weapons test,

which hasn't happened since last September, could be imminent.

It's hard to know which of Kim Jong-un's boasts are true,

but thanks to new satellite technology,

analysts can now draw their own conclusions—

by studying the country's weapons of mass destruction program from afar.

Ravi Somaiya has more.

— This is a cluster of shoebox-sized satellites being launched into space earlier this year.

They're the creation of Planet Labs, a startup in San Francisco.

The satellites photograph the Earth's surface in its entirety once every 24 hours.

Even North Korea, one the most secretive nations on Earth, cannot hide.

— What are the challenges of miniaturizing a satellite to this point?

— One of the key things we had to work on is the radio flap.

So, this radio now, even though it's one of the smallest in space,

actually can beam down information faster than your home internet connection.

— The satellites collect terabytes of images everyday.

— So this is a live view into Planet's mission control system.

Overlaid onto the Earth is the live position of our many satellites we have in space right now.

— Tell me about the coverage of North Korea.

Which of these satellites is going over and how often?

— So, actually, all of them pass over North Korea every 24 hours,

and all of them take a small part of the land area of North Korea.

And then we take that and stitch it together to create full coverage.

— Is it fair to say that, if you're Kim Jong-un,

now there's nowhere to hide your missiles?

— You could put them inside.

— North Korea knows it's being watched.

The Center for Nonproliferation Studies uses Planet's imagery to track the country's nuclear weapons.

It's a game of cat and mouse, conducted nearly entirely remotely.

— We started taking pictures of Kim Jong-un, and identifying where he was.

The North Koreans got really annoyed by that.

We can tell that because they started putting up barriers behind him,

so we couldn't see where he was.

But you learn these really fascinating little things—

like, we watched Kim Jong-un watch a missile test from a mountain.

We were trying to figure out what mountain it was,

and it turns out it was the Masik Pass Ski Resort in the summer.

That is part of a pattern we've noticed,

which is Kim Jong-un likes to watch missile tests from really posh places.

— To build a 3D model of North Korea's testing site,

the center combined satellite imagery with seismic data.

They found that this facility fits perfectly

with publicly available nuclear testing data released by the United States.

It seems Pyongyang has used these declassified papers to replicate the American program.

— If you look in the goggles,

what you're going to see is a three-dimensional map of North Korea's nuclear test site.

— Am I looking at a tunnel?

— Yes.

So there are a variety of tunnels that are going into the mountain.

Using commercial satellite images, we can see the North Koreans digging them up.

One thing a model like this allows you to do

is see what the biggest possible explosion they can conduct is.

And we think that's about 350 kilotons,

which is 10, 20 times larger than the bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima.

We can see, based on the tunnels that they're building in the tunnels that they've used,

that they've planned to conduct a lot of nuclear tests.

— And so, it's just kind-of this weird, disconnected chunk of a distant nation.

You kind-of get a sense of what it would be like to fly over it with a plane?

Jeffrey, I'm guessing you can't do that.

— Not unless you only get shot down.

— We can see more of North Korea than ever before, including its nuclear program.

But more information is not more knowledge.

— A lot of the rhetoric in recent weeks around these nuclear tests

has sort-of approached a feeling of certainty.

Do you think that level of certainty is fair or accurate?

— No.

There's an enormous enthusiasm when you get all of this data.

You feel like, "Oh, I have all of this data, there all these things I know."

But you don't, right?

This data is all indirect, and what you have is a series of clues.

And, you know, it would be great if life was like a Sherlock Holmes story

and you always got the answer, but often you don't.

My guess is North Korea will probably conduct

one or two nuclear tests there every year for the foreseeable future.

That tells you the site's active,

it doesn't tell you that a test is going to happen tomorrow.

these balls are on fire but I have to

think of something for an intro but why

my goodness gracious this we're off to a

great start we have giant yellow ball

chasing me and I appreciate this lot

this is this is fun actually this is

quite a fun game so I have once again

gotten a request to play this game

through my Fiverr page and this game is

called Orn dot io oh this is very very

similar to Agar.io

if any of you remember that that

is exactly what this game is like it's

exactly like Agar.io but it's 3d

you have you have these spheres you're

supposed to eat other people's balls and

this is quite a lot of fun I actually

really enjoy this one I don't really

play a whole lot of these dot IO games

but this one is really fun I do have to

say there's no music so hence why we are

listening to some random music that I

decided to put in here

I'll buy Nathan O. Wills if you would

like to know and it is totally free to

listen to so yes I got paid $5.00 to

play this game

on my YouTube channel through my Fiverr

page just so you guys know and we're

just going to go fool around here and

see what we can accomplish we're going

to obviously have a goal of getting to

the highest level or rank or whatever

that we can offer for obvious reasons

here and we're just swallowing this Doge

guy over here because he's not being too

smart with trying to get away from me so

he's just helped me to get a really

really big so thank you mr. Doge person

there oh look I'm number 5 on the on the

leaderboard there and there's it looks

like a jacksepticeye septic eye Sam right

over there to the left I'm probably

going too fast for you to really see it

because I'm just going down the W button

so I don't know what to really talk

about for this all I know is this is a

kind of kind of interesting now there

isn't really a whole heck of a lot for

me to commentate on except for things

that randomly happen you do start to

lose mass randomly per second it seems

as you go along playing this game so

that is to keep people from getting to

time

and this is the problem because we you

can actually split those bikes

you can split yourself up but then

there's also these spikes here that will

pop you just like in agario it's exactly

like that only 3d but it is a lot of fun

and then to you just wait a little tiny

bit and your balls will just randomly

come back together there we go we have

conjoined all that the one once again

except I have lost some of my total mass

since this mr. red person up here

decided to eat some of me it although it

was kind of my stupidity to try and go

after him and we have no name here who

is at 19,000 710 points so good for him

he's doing great

my goal is obviously to get this high as

we possibly can we got a bunch of orange

over here orange must have split at

lunch I wonder I wonder I wonder if I

can eat some of orange can I eat some of

orange ah I cannot eat some of orange

well shoot because that would have been

nice could you imagine if I could have

eaten some of orange I could have just

swallowed him whole and gotten much

bigger than no-name over there probably

feedback here that I would give is just

that when you split you go just slightly

slightly farther because you kind of

just go like that that that's hardly

anything you have to get extremely close

to anyone to be able to do that but when

you're bigger it doesn't work because

everyone else is faster than you then

again I don't know maybe that will

unbalance the game and will make it too

easy for big people to split and eat

others so maybe that is totally fine and

it is perfect the way it is I don't

really know I just feel like it should

be a bit bigger but other than that yeah

deodorizer gels, without the risk of side effects.

What You Need

1 oz. unsweetened, unflavored gelatin 2 cups cold water

1 tbsp salt 20 to 30 drops essential oils

Small saucepan Whisk

Decorative heat-proof jars Chopsticks or skewers

Optional additives Food coloring to match your décor

A splash of vodka to prevent mold

Preparation Instructions Pour 1 cup of water into saucepan

Bring to a boil Next, sprinkle in the gelatin

Whisk until it's dissolved Add salt, and the 2nd cup of water

Whisk Add your preferred oils, and food coloring,

to a heat-proof jar While the mixture is still hot, carefully

pour into a jar If you added food coloring, stir until its

well-blended Add a splash of vodka, if desired

Allow jar to cool uncovered

Placing various gels throughout your home will eliminate unpleasant odors.

Here's a few more combinations you may wish to try:

Sweet Basil and Lemon 20 drops Sweet Basil essential oil

8 drops Lemon essential oil

Rosemary Orange 25 drops Sweet Orange essential oil

5 drops Rosemary essential oil (scent is strong so don't over-do it)

Fresh Pine Scent 25 drops Fir Pine essential oil

3 drops Lemon essential oil 2 drops Sweet Orange essential oil

1 drop Bergamot essential oil

Pure Lavender 30 drops of Lavender essential oil

Essence of Provence 20 drops Lavender essential oil

5 drops Thyme essential oil 2 drops Lemon essential oil

In 2000 I decided to move to the US.

I had no idea about America but I would

always feel that I need to experiment
