3 MAGIC TRICKS WITH FIDGET SPINNER TUTORIAL - Duration: 10:10.

hi guys how are you? welcome in a new tutorial!

Since the fidget spinner is trending, we are gonna learn something new about it!

And we are gonna learn a magic trick with cards and the spinner!

So relax, grab your spinner and we learn!

The first thing that we are gonna create is very easy

is the spinner card

things we need: cards, more then one in case we don't do it properly the first time,

a spinner, i will use this one because is easier

a little knife and some double stick tape

let's start!

we take a card, an ace or a picture card is better so we can find easily the center

and we have to take the spinner's center, how?

you just push here and it comes out.

this is the spinning part, in this case is not that fast

but if you take it from a new spinner it's faster

i will use this one. take the double stick tape and cut a little piece

and we put it in the center position

we remove the part, and we attach this exactly in the center of the card

like so

now we have to cut all around the circular shape

don't worry if you are not precise

ok, push! and we remove the centre

in this case is not perfect but doesn't matter

if you wanna be precise you can grab some sandpaper and soft the hole.

i won't do it

we remove the double stick tape and we push this piece inside

we push and we stuck it in the centre

now we bend the card a little

and as you can see we've created the spinner card!

it's not easy ;)

with the virtuoso deck should be nice

cool!

next thing is a scientific thing

we take a spinner and we remove the 2 little things on top

so now we can see the center

perfect! we take a pen or pencil

and put the pen inside the hole, it has to get stucked, if it doesn't, just take some stick tape and put it all around the pencil

now we spin the spinner and look, the pen goes around and if i touch it and push it, it doesn't fall!

this is a cool thing you can do at school!

third easy magic trick with cards is this

we cut the cards, we choose one, in this case the 8 of clubs and we leave it in the middle of the deck

you can cut as many times you want

we leave the deck on the table and we take a spinner, we spin it

we take a random card

we leave it on the spinner

and look what just happened

the card cut the deck in this point!

what was the card? 8 of clubs!

8 of clubs!

how it's done? very easy, we just need a lot of douplicates cards

and we put 26 same cards before a random card. so we have 8 of clubs, random card, 8 of clubs ecc..

and we know where the 8 is. for example if i cut the cards, i see the bottom one and it's not an 8, now i know that's the first!

i say, cut the cards where you want, i look the bottom, i see it's not an 8 so i say take this one

if it cuts and there is an 8 on the bottom i turn face up and i say ok remember this one!

doing this move i show the 4 of clubs on the bottom so we are saying that we have normal cards in the deck, because we cannot spread it!

cut the cards how many times you want!

leave the deck on the table in this position

we take the spinner and we spin it on the table while snapping the fingers like this

we take a random card, and we put it on top the fidget

and when it touches the spinner it goes forward

so we spin it, and we leave the card here

in this point

so we put the card here and boom

and the card hits the deck and it goes inside the deck

we push it in

we cut all the cards on top

and we say it has stopped right here, 8 of clubs!

once again

we push it, we look the bottom card while cutting and if it's not an 8 that means that under the card there is an 8

if we cut and on the bottom there is an 8, we say that the card went here and we turn all the deck face up!

guys hope you liked the video!

leave a comment here and i will pick a random comment and i will send him a fidget spinner!

thanks for watching

see you in the next one!

Coletânea de práticas - Gincana familiar - Cuiabá - Duration: 4:24.

Physical education classes are magical,

socialization is greater,

contact with other children is greater,

so we create situations where everyone can participate.

So the project was born of from the anguish

of wanting to bring families back,

because families were always present,

but this year was difficult,

slower,

and we wanted to redeem it

again for our events.

So stretching was an activity

that we chose,

that we always do, right?

I always do stretching with music,

because many times they do not have contact

with different rhythms, with different languages,

so it's time for me to provide this,

for example, when the class is very agitated,

I look for a more classical song.

When the group is very apathetic,

we look for a little more agitated music for them to start…

The preparation of the tug of war was first,

the question of space, right?

We used that space

with all the kids together,

so we adjusted what we had,

it had to be diagonal for everyone to participate

and try to integrate in that part, the parents

that were present so they could be participating.

And as there were many recreational activities,

we did not have much concerns like

"oh this is right or that is wrong",

it was really meant for everyone to participate,

within their limits,

within what they could do at that moment

Passing the hula hoop

The activity of the hula hoop is a line,

one next to the other, holding hands,

the purpose is to move the hula hoop

from side to side,

from the first to the last, without letting go of the hands.

So the child needs to figure out how it will go,

so he'll try to figure out if he passes his head first, if he passes his leg first,

or if his partner will help by raising his hand.

And then you go in that process, until you get there.

And if you release your hand, the hula hoop will return to the beginning.

Another activity that we did was the orange dance,

or the lemon dance,

or the ball dance, whatever you have.

The goal is to put the orange or the ball

on the forehead in contact with another forehead,

and dance without holding hands,

without touching the ball, without touching each other,

and the goal is to dance, to move at least a little bit.

The adaptation we made was,

if they touched each other, we would still let them continue,

so they could experience the activity,

because they had a little difficulty in the beginning.

Usually at the beginning of the year we make a schedule

of everything that is going to happen in school during that year,

so the Open Doors project will already enter

this schedule at the beginning of the year.

On the first meeting we have with the parents of the students,

we are going to include the moments

for these talks.

The activities are very good,

it allows us to interact

not only with our daughter,

but with the other children

and with the teachers.

The activity includes everyone and this is very good for Alice,

because it gives her the chance to play

and get closer to the other kids.

Alice did not speak, you know?

Until she was two and a half, she did not speak,

it was here at school that she began to talk.

She did not know what the number one meant, today she counts up to 10

and she knows that she is Alice,

before she didn't realize that, and it was the school that taught her

because whenever she arrived the teacher would ask

"Where's Alice? Who's Alice?".

So today she knows that she is Alice, and it was the school who did that,

and this for me, as a mother, it's wonderful.

Series I Need to Continue/Finish - Duration: 5:09.

Hey everyone, my name is Kylie and this

is Miss Kyle Reads and today I wanted to

bring you a quick video. I don't know how

quick it's going to be but I wanted to

bring you a video about all of the

series that I own that I would like to

either continue on with or to finish.

Now this is not series or trilogies that

I own that I would like to start. These

are ones that I've either- either read

the first book or the first few or I

just have the last book to finish that I

actually own so I need to do it. So let's

just jump into them because there are

quite a few and the first one is kind of

cheating because I never actually,

technically finished the first book and

that is the Chronicles of Amber by Roger

Zelazny and this is the huge, Great Book

of Amber, the whole omnibus of ten novels

and I started the first one when I was

in a little bit of a reading slump and I

never finished it. But I would love to

read these because I've got the whole

thing so I would just love to read this.

Next are ones that I have read the first

book and I own more than the first book

so I need to finish these and the first

one of those is the omnibus of the Night

Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks. I read the

first one, I read it twice last year

which is crazy but I felt like I needed

to reread it and I've got the other two

in this bind up so I just need to finish

those. I just, I just need to do it. Brent

Weeks's first trilogy; I need to do it.

I'm not going to go into great depth

about any of these because you've

probably heard me talk about them before

or you've heard somebody talk about them

before. I'm just listing off for you what

I need to finish or continue on with. You

get me? So the first one I read quite

recently of this one and that is Lord of

Emperors, the second book in the Sarantine

Mosaic. This is a duology and I

read the first book, Sailing to Sarantium

in April so I would love to

continue on and read this one just

because it's a duology so I could finish

it. But anyways, I loved the first one a

lot.

Love his writing, love everything about it.

Loved the characters, everything. Kay?

Next one is Fool Moon by Jim Butcher. I

read Storm Front like in 2015 and I

haven't continued on and if I don't

continue on, then I won't get to the ones

that are-everybody says are so great.

So I need to continue on but Fool Moon

right here. Also one that drives me nuts

is With Blood Upon the Sand by

Bradley Beaulieu and I read Twelve Kings in

Sharakhai back in February, January? And I

would love to continue on and read this

one just because I had such high hopes

for it so I just need to do it.

Also, the Rose Society by Marie Lu, the

first one in this trilogy is the Young

Elites which I liked. I think I read it in

2015, 2014 maybe. But I liked where it was

going and I think this one could be

going in a good direction. So I've got

the second one so I just need to read it.

I mention this one all the time because I

need to continue on with the Wheel of

Time and read the Great Hunt by Robert

Jordan. I really enjoyed the Eye of the

World when I read it. I just haven't

continued on with it and I would love to

you know, get me some good old classic

90s fantasy. I have read the first book

in Brandon Sanderson's Reckoners trilogy

so I need to read Firefight and Calamity,

the second and third books in that trilogy.

because I love Brandon Sanderson so I

don't know why I haven't read these yet

know a few books that I have read the

first two books in these series and I

just need to continue and read the third

ones that I own and the first of those

is stable Haven grip of the shadow

plague which is the third book in the

fable Haven series and I read the second

one in April so I really need to read

this one because I love fable Haven it's

such a great middle grade series I love

Brandon moles writing I just thoroughly

enjoy it

next is the broken eye vibrant wakes

this is the third book in a light burner

series and I have no words because I

love the library series a lot the

enjoyment factor it's really high for me

for that series so I need to continue on

and I own it so I don't know why I

haven't continued on basically that's

the gist of this whole video so next

category is books that I have yet to

complete the last book in the trilogy

these are all trilogies and I have yet

to complete the last book in them and

the first of those is Assassin's Quest

or the Farseer trilogy by Robin hobb I

am listening to the audiobook of this

currently for this one I'm working on

aren't you proud of me I want to finish

this part of your trilogy so I can get

to the rest of Robin hobb books so I am

just making my way through slowly but

this one's getting accomplished and it

makes me feel really good next one is

continent of light by ve Schwab and I

know a lot of people don't like this

shades of magic trilogy but I really

enjoy it okay let's finish my batter is

going to die this has never happened to

me and the last book I have to talk to

you is one that I'm kind of debating

whether I'm going to finish or not and

that is library of souls I write what

I've said vibrant weeks by ransom Riggs

and I read miss Peregrine's and the

second book hollow city quite a while

ago quite a few years ago and I just

don't really have any interest in

finishing this trilogy anymore but I own

it so I might as well finish it hey

everyone thanks for joining me for this

quick video where I talk about the

series but I actually own that I read at

least the first book for or that I just

need to finish give this video a big

thumbs up if you enjoyed it and comment

down below with series that you guys own

that you just need to finish because you

own them I will text you guys next time

goodbye

Is Bitcoin a Good Investment? - Duration: 5:16.

Hey guys, Bridget for Money After

Graduation here to answer a question

I've been hearing so often now, and that is

is Bitcoin a good investment?

the reason I'm being asked this question

is because Bitcoin is trading at an

all-time high. At the time I'm recording

this one Bitcoin is worth about $1,750 US

dollars. Most people have witnessed the

gain in bitcoin's value over the past few

months in the past few years and they're

starting to look at it as something

serious that they maybe want to buy as

part of their overall investment

portfolio to grow their wealth. Now while

I think bitcoin is super cool and

probably has an interesting future ahead,

I wouldn't say that's a good investment

and I'm going to tell you why. If you're

not familiar with Bitcoin, bitcoin is a

digital currency that's not attached to

any particular bank, country, or

government.

This means it's totally unregulated and

this also means that it's uninsured.

Unlike currencies of the US and Canada

that are insured by the FDIC or the CDIC,

no one is protecting your bitcoins.

When you own bitcoins you either store

them in a digital wallet on your

computer or in the cloud.

Both of these are vulnerable to either

accidental deletion or hackers, and if

you were to accidentally lose your

bitcoins by either of these ways, there

would be nothing in place to replace

them. At their current price point you

can understand why that would hurt even

if you only owned, like, three. One of the

reasons people love Bitcoin and it has

been so popular is because it's not

attached to any name. It's a currency

that can be used anonymously. Some people

use it this way to purchase things that

they really shouldn't like, illegal or

illicit substances online, but other

people just enjoy it for its flexibility

and that it's not restricted to any

borders or market across the globe. As

time goes on, more and more businesses

are accepting Bitcoin as payment. I know

in my city there's actually a chain of

coffee shops that have a currency

exchange machine that will let you

exchange Canadian dollars for bitcoins

right in the coffee shop. Obviously the

more businesses that accept Bitcoin, the

more valuable it becomes and the more

useful it is for

everyone. Many people think this type of

digital cryptocurrency is the future and

will eventually replace traditional

money.

However, bitcoin is still in its own

league when compared to other currencies.

It's important to note that bitcoin

itself has no intrinsic value because

it's not tied to a currency or product

its price is determined totally by how

much people perceive that it's worth. Now

you might say that this is true of any

investment on the stock market, its value

is completely dependent on what people

perceive it to be worth, but bitcoin is

still an unusual one because there's

nothing behind it. Even with securities

on the stock market, they represent

companies that have services or products

that they're selling and that helps

determine the value of their stock. This

isn't true of Bitcoin, there's nothing

behind it, there's nothing it's based on, it

just exists completely on what people

are willing to pay for it in exchange

for the currency of their country.

Bitcoin isn't regulated by any specific

country or government so there's no

saying where the value will go -- no one

has any control over it. Some people

might like this but for others it might

make you a little nervous. In addition to

the lack of regulation, security, and

insurance for Bitcoin, it's also

extremely volatile and this is actually

what really makes me hesitate in

thinking about Bitcoin as an investment.

The price of Bitcoin can go up and down

by as much as 20% in a single day. Right

now it's been on a pretty strong up

trajectory but it's not uncommon to see

the price drop by $200

in a mere matter of minutes. Most

investors can't stomach that kind of

market swings and so if you own Bitcoin

it might make you really nervous to see

the value of your investment fluctuate

by huge amounts. For this reason Bitcoin

doesn't necessarily have a place in your

long term investment portfolio, but that

doesn't mean that it can't be fun or

interesting to own. My recommendation to

you would be to stay away from Bitcoin

as a serious investment or a hope of

getting rich quickly, but don't

necessarily shy away from it if you

think that it's really cool, really fun

if you have the money to spare to buy

some.

Another thing worth mentioning is that

when something becomes really popular

and trendy the way bitcoin is now, it

usually means it's near the top. If

you're just hearing about it and

considering entering it as an investment

right now, chances are you probably missed

many of the largest gains already. Now I

can't predict the future price of

Bitcoin any better than I can predict

the future price of other securities.

Actually, I'm probably better at guessing

the future price of other securities

because they're based on something. With

Bitcoin I have no idea where it's headed

next. Nevertheless, I find crypto

currencies super interesting and I think

bitcoin is the strongest player on the

market. If you guys are investing in

Bitcoin or considering it, I would love

to hear about it in the comments below.

Let me know what made you decide to buy

bitcoins and where you think that it's

going next. If you enjoyed this video

please give it a thumbs up and subscribe

to my channel and I will be back with

more financial wisdom for you next week.

5 Life Lessons We Can Learn From "Iron" Mike Tyson! - Duration: 13:30.

Here are lessons that we can all learn from Iron Mike Tyson!

5 - Stick up for yourself Believe it or not Mike Tyson actually wasn't

exactly born with the greatest genetics, as he was a little fat kid when he was very young.

He was tipping the scales at nearly 200 pounds as a 10 year old, and to make things even

worse, Tyson wore glasses. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, he also had a high pitched voice and

spoke with a lisp. Could things have been any worse? Tyson's family lived in Brooklyn,

in Brownsville, a section that was known as a high-crime neighborhood. I'm sure you

can imagine it wasn't exactly fun and games when Tyson was growing up, as he was picked

on and robbed all the time. However, one day things done changed, to quote

Biggie. Tyson's very first fight was with an older and bigger kid named Gary. Gary had

grabbed and held one of Tyson's pet pigeons hostage. Tyson told him to give him his pigeon

back, and Gary pulled the head off Tyson's pigeon and threw it at Tyson! That's….just

insane. And that's when the switch flipped in Tyson. Tyson said that he had always been

too scared to fight anyone before. He said, "F*ck it" and started swinging on Gary,

which completely shocked Tyson's friends, even though they themselves were urging Tyson

to fight. Tyson didn't know what he was doing, but according to him he threw some

wild punches, one connected, and dude went down.

Tyson said he started skipping because quote, "it just seemed like the fly thing to do".

He had practically the whole block watching his glory, and everybody started cheering

for Tyson. Tyson said that It was an incredible feeling even though his heart was beating

out of his chest. According to Tyson, he started getting a whole

new level of respect around his neighborhood. Tyson started fighting a lot. Guys would bet

money on Tyson, and Tyson bet on himself too, which earned Tyson quite a reputation around

Brooklyn. Tyson began having a reputation that he would fight anyone any time, even

grown men.

He decided to start getting revenge for the beatings he had taken from bullies. He'd

be walking with some friends, and he might see one of the guys who had beaten him up

and bullied him years earlier. He would drag go as far as dragging dudes out of a store

and start pummeling their a#s. Now I'm not telling you guys to go start

Fight Club around you. That's not what I'm saying at all. But what we CAN learn from

Iron Mike is that although you don't need to pick every fight, you also can't back

down from every fight either, whether it's literally or figuratively. You have to stick

up for yourself from time to time, or else you'll always be chosen as a weak target.

To finish this early story on Tyson, ever since he had a taste of power he started getting

into trouble for the wrong reasons. By the age of 13, he had been arrested 38 times.

He ended up at the Tryon School for Boys in Johnstown, New York. Tyson's boxing ability

was discovered there by Bobby Stewart, a juvenile detention center counselor and former boxer.

Stewart trained him for a few months before eventually introducing him to legendary trainer

Cus D'Amato.

4 - Don't buy into your own hype Buster Douglas was the number 7 ranked heavyweight

boxer by The Ring back in 1990. Certainly no slouch, but not exactly a boxer with a

feared reputation or impressive pedigree. Leading up to the title fight with Tyson back

in 1990, he had a string of 6 straight wins which earned him the shot against Tyson for

a few heavyweight title belts. To put things in perspective, Tyson at the

time was pretty much the baddest dude on the planet. He was considered the pound for pound

best boxer in the world, which is a rarity for a heavyweight. Iron Mike was undefeated

at the time, and he had never been taken beyond the 5th round in his 37 previous professional

fights. Douglas was basically never taken seriously, as he was just considered a tuneup

for Tyson before an eventual meeting with Evander Holyfield. No Vegas sportsbooks would

even take bets for the fight, except for the Mirage who put Douglas at a 42 to 1 underdog.

I'm sure you guys already know what happened next. In what's one of the most epic upsets

in sports history, Buster Douglas knocked out Tyson and shattered his mystique of being

the baddest dude on the planet. Buster Douglas was dealing with the recent

death of his mother, a kidney ailment to his baby mama, and just for good measure, he also

had the flu. Before the fight a reporter asked Tyson if there was any chance Douglas could

beat him. Tyson replied quite hilariously quote "Perhaps if I chopped off my arms."

However, Tyson had a few things that were going against him at the time. His relationship

with ex-wife Robin Givens was falling apart. He was having financial battles with his manager

Bill Cayton and his promoter Don King. He had also fired his longtime trainer Kevin

Rooney, who helped Tyson develop his signature peekaboo fighting style. Because of all that

was going on in his personal life, Tyson didn't take his opponent nor his training seriously.

He bought into his own hype and thought that his reputation, name, and talent could win

the fight. Instead Buster Douglas didn't buy into Tyson's hype, believed that he

himself could beat him, and put in the work to shock the world.

Years later, Tyson admitted his training regimen and mental preparation were simply lacking

in the weeks leading up to the fight. If Tyson had properly prepared for the fight and was

actually focused, the fight wouldn't have ended the way it did. But because nothing

in life is ever guaranteed until it's in the past, this is why fights are still fought

no matter what the odds. The ability to humbly confess to defeat without making ridiculous

excuses is rare, not only in the boxing world, but just in general. This is clearly an attitude

that illustrates Tyson's persona well, as he's the type to speak what he believes

to be the truth. 3 - Always Be self-aware

Speaking of persona, how many different personas have we seen of Mike Tyson? He's gone from

being the bullied, TO the bully, to a criminal, to a heavyweight champ, to a guy getting laughs

in movies and late-night TV. The bad press Tyson used to receive only painted

just one side of him. The sports media loved to put the mic in front of Tyson and watch

the chaos ensue. And in the same way, Tyson had trouble refusing any camera. He once admitted

that he comes across as crass, a Neanderthal, and a babbling idiot at times. But, Tyson

would later admit say that he likes to show that person to the public. He knows what his

persona is and how he comes across, and he's not ashamed to show that side of himself.

Tyson knows that he isn't without faults, and he'd rather give the world the truth

than tell cheesy lies. However, a lot of people aren't self aware and don't realize the

persona they give off. When they act a certain way to expect a certain reaction but instead

receive another, they wonder why there's a disconnect. Iron Mike on the other hand,

knows exactly how he wants to be perceived and is okay with his imperfections.

In his book, Undisputed Truth, Tyson said that a lot of people assumed that Ali was

his favorite boxer, but instead it's actually Roberto Duran. Tyson always looked at Ali

as being handsome and articulate, and Tyson saw himself as short and ugly with a speech

impediment. When he watched Duran fight, he realized he was just a street guy, just like

him. Duran would supposedly ridiculous things to his opponents such as, quote "Suck my

f*cking d*ck you motherf*cker. Next time you're going to the f*cking morgue." Tyson thought

Duran was exactly like him, and he wanted to do what he did. Duran wasn't ashamed

of being who he was and Tyson related to him as a human being.

As Tyson's boxing career went on, people started praising Tyson for being a savage,

and Tyson knew that being called an animal was the highest praise he could get from someone

because that's exactly what he wanted to be.

People go to NASCAR races to see a big crash, and people go to boxing matches to see two

guys beat the living h*ll out of each other. This isn't exactly news, but when Mike Tyson

enters the ring and gives the people what they want, that's how Tyson planned it out.

Tyson says that he knows his role and he's okay with the millions of people who see him

in the ring and hate his guts because of his crazy quotes.

2 - Keep what you earn This is a lesson a lot of athletes can teach

us. When anyone first makes any serious money of their own, they're gonna spend some money

because they're feeling rich. However, some people think that that cash flow is for forever,

and spend like it's gonna come in for forever. Unfortunately, Iron Mike was one of the many

athletes that had to learn the hard way about money. When the millions started rolling in,

it rolled out just as fast. Stories about his spending are just legendary. Tyson at

one time employed as many as 200 people, including bodyguards, chauffeurs, chefs, and gardeners!

Some of his less frugal moments include spending nearly $4.5 million on cars and motorcycles,

$3.4 million on clothes and jewelry, a d $7.8 million on "personal expenses". When Tyson

married his first wife Robin Givens, he decided to show his love in the form of a $2 million

bathtub he bought her for Christmas one year. According to documents from one of Tyson's

divorces, he used to have a $400,000 dollar a month lifestyle!! That's just the recurring

expenses, not counting the random stuff he bought.

The list is endless, but you get the picture. Tyson certainly wasn't cheap and he definitely

didn't want to have to think about money. But unfortunately even if you make hundreds

of millions of dollars, you can easily spend that amount if you put your mind to it. Tyson

made an insane amount of money; he made over 400 million dollars in his life, but he managed

to spend it all and then some. He ended up filing chapter 11 bankruptcy having a debt

of 23 million dollars back in 2003. While on the talk show The View in early May

2010, Tyson revealed that he was forced to live paycheck to paycheck. He went on to say

that he's totally broke, but that he still thinks that he has an awesome life, and an

awesome wife who cares about him, even if he was "totally broke". He admitted that

he had a lot of fun with his money and that going broke sort of just happened. That's

the thing; even though it just "happened" to Tyson, really, it didn't just happen.

Going broke is a direct result of reckless spending and no planning. No matter what kind

of cash flow you have, you're only able to keep what you earn when you have a lifestyle

to match accordingly. 1 - Have a mentor

No matter what it is, it always helps to find someone to bring the best out of you. Tyson

met legendary boxing trainer Cus D'amato back in March of 1980, and his life was forever

changed. Cus D'amato watched Tyson spar just a few rounds with former professional

boxer Bobby Stewart, as I had mentioned earlier. Cus saw the raw talent and potential in Tyson

and said to him quote, "If you listen to me, I can make you the youngest heavyweight

champion of all time."

Tyson realized years later how weak he was as a little kid, and quickly realized that

D'amato's strategy was psychology. Tyson said he realized how weak he was, and once

he was given a little strength, he was addicted.

Tyson started going out to Cus's house every weekend, but when he first started going,

he wasn't even allowed to box. The first thing Cus told Tyson about was fear and how

to overcome it. Cus described fear as the greatest obstacle to learning, but fear was

Tyson's best friend. Fear is like fire. If Tyson learned to control it, it'd work

for him. If Tyson didn't learn to control it, it'd destroy him and everything around

him

D'amato also described the difference between a hero and a coward to Tyson. He said there

wasn't difference in what each of them felt, but what they do is what what makes them different.

He told Tyson that he had to have the discipline to do what a hero does and to keep himself

from doing what the coward does.

Tyson was only 14, but Tyson took to Cus D'amato's mentorship and was a true believer in Cus's

philosophy. Tyson said he was always training and thinking like a Roman gladiator. He likened

it to being in a perpetual state of war in his mind, yet on the outside seeming calm

and relaxed.

At the time that Tyson met Cus D'amato, he was still an undisciplined kid who had

no clue the potential that he had. But all it took was the right person with the right

type of mentorship to cultivate Tyson's raw talent and become the best in

the world. Here's what's next!

Zero Waste, Minimalism & Privilege with Elizabeth from Plant Based Bride - Duration: 19:08.

Hey there modern vegans and vegan curious, it's Margaret,

and welcome back to ModVegan.

Today I'm here with Elizabeth from Plant Based Bride,

and she's visiting me here in Calgary

(well, she's actually here for a show in Calgary),

but she's also visiting me.

And Elizabeth, do you want to introduce yourself?

Elizabeth: Yeah, totally, I'm Elizabeth, I have a YouTube

channel, Plant Based Bride, go check it out if you're interested

and I talk about veganism, minimalism, zero waste

and all kinds of fun stuff that I care about.

It's an amazing channel, be sure and check it out,

and I will have links to Elizabeth's channel

in the description box below.

Today we're going to be talking about zero waste,

and privilege.

Because it's something that we're both

really interested in.

We both really like zero waste stuff, minimalism,

that's one thing I love about your channel, we both

have a lot of common interests - we're Canadian, so,

very cool.

But that's something that I've been asked about

a lot.

And I've only done a couple of - you have more videos

on minimalism than I do - but I've noticed...I've only made

two videos on minimalism, but one of the comments that

I've gotten a lot from people is that minimalism is for privileged people.

That minimalism is a lot about privilege, and it's a lot about

consumerism.

And I thought that was kind of ironic and strange the first

time that I heard that from someone.

But it is a comment that I've gotten fairly frequently,

that minimalism is just a new form of consumerism.

And I was wondering what you think about that.

Elizabeth: Yeah, I've definitely heard that as well.

I think, in some ways, it definitely can be, I think,

when we think of minimalism, if you think about

the perfect minimalist home, you think of a huge studio apartment,

that has really nice furniture, just not very much of it.

And you think about someone with a perfectly curated

wardrobe, that each piece was $200 hundred dollars.

You know, that's perfectly cut, and they look great.

So you don't need a lot of other stuff.

And I think that can definitely be part of minimalism,

that is a part of it, there are people that are very privileged

who see it as a way to, you know, almost - I've heard it said

that they see it as a way that they can "experience how

the other half lives" without actually having to be poor.

They get to choose what stuff they get rid of, they're not

getting rid of it because they have to sell it to pay their rent.

They're getting rid of it because they have enough money

to choose what they want around themselves.

And I definitely see that part of it.

But for me, minimalism

is not that at all.

Because I am not wealthy,

I do not have a lot of money, I don't make a lot of money,

but for me, minimalism is a way that I can still have things

I love around me, without spending a lot of money on stuff

that I don't need.

And I think for a lot of people,

that is kind of what minimalism is for them.

Margaret: Yeah, and there's certainly the aspect of it

that is about, you know, choosing the things that really

matter to you, that give value to your life.

And one other thing that I've appreciated lately - even though

I like Marie Kondo and some of the ideas about, you know,

having nothing in your home that you don't believe to be

useful or beautiful.

Elizabeth: Doesn't bring you joy

Margaret: Yeah, that doesn't bring you joy, exactly,

that's her thing that she says.

I think I like the Minimalists - you know Joshua Fields Millburn...

Elizabeth: The ones who did the documentary

Margaret: Yes, yeah, the ones that did the documentary,

The Minimalists, one thing I really like about their podcast,

and their blog - is that they focus more on what brings you value,

and I think that might be something that we can emphasize

more when it comes to minimalism.

About choosing the things in your life that bring you value.

Because part of minimalism is - and I think you get the sense

from them - part of it is kind of - it should be about turning

your back on consumer culture, somewhat, and about trying to

to challenge that way of thinking that is all about

having the latest and greatest and newest is going to bring you happiness.

Elizabeth: Yeah, and I do think some people do treat

minimalism as a way to say "this is my aesthetic" that minimaism...because it is.

It's an aesthetic, it's a look, it's a lifestyle.

And for some people, they'll constantly buy the new high quality

white t-shirt to use in their wardrobe, maybe.

You know,

once a month they buy a new updated t-shirt.

Whereas I think, minimalism as a lifestyle, and as sort of a way

of viewing your conspicuous consumption is more of the idea of

"I only need one white t-shirt, why would I need two?

And I'm going to wear it until it wears out, and then replace it,

because it brings me value, it's something I wear, it's

something I need, but I don't need to have five white t-shirts,

or I don't need the newest cool white t-shirt."

And sort of, that distinction between the "look" of a minimalist,

and actually viewing your consumption in a minimalist way.

Margaret: And I think one of the things too, is it's a

misconception that minimalists always buy really expensive things.

I think that the idea that you need to buy your black t-shirt or

whatever you happen to choose to buy, at a place that's very

expensive, I think that's a misconception as well.

One thing I've found - 'cause I've always been kind of cheap,

in addition to being...now I'm more of a minimalist,

but I've always been a little cheap, and for me, if I shop

at a place like Zara and H&M - not that I'm recommending those

places, because it's true that they do have a lot of

ethical concerns, definitely - but I'm also now thinking more

in terms of how much I consume.

And part of the zero waste

movement is about that, about how much you consume.

And I've always, if I buy something at Zara, I look

and make sure that it's good quality, because...

and I think that's something that most of us have kind of

learned over our lives, to be able to identify.

When you know something's good quality...I can buy

something at Zara that's going to last me just as long

as an expensive thing.

And I think that's a bit of a mistake, too,

when people think that it has to be expensive in order

to last a long time.

Because I've had plenty of cheap things from H&M last me

for 5 years, 10 years.

So as long as you're - I think it's -

at least in terms of clothing at least - looking for quality

is more important.

It doesn't mean you need a wardrobe

full of Chanel or something like that.

Elizabeth: Yeah, and you know, you can go to a thrift store

and buy a t-shirt that was from H&M or something...

Margaret: Yes, which is a much better way to do that!

Elizabeth: Yeah, and someone wore it for a couple of months

and got sick of it.

And if you take care of it,

even something that isn't amazing quality - you know,

if you really can't afford to get something that's really well

made, you can still make something last if you take care of it.

You know, you don't have to wash it constantly,

or on really harsh cycles, or use really harsh soaps and things like that.

You can really take care of your clothes and treat them well.

And that can help them last for longer, too.

Margaret: Yeah.

And I think one thing for me that's very

attractive about minimalism is that it allows you to spend

a lot less money.

And this is not just because I'm cheap,

but it's also because people spend so much of their

money on housing.

And we find this especially now, you know,

living in Canada.

You live in Toronto, which is one of the

most expensive places to live in the world now.

And Calgary's not that cheap, either.

It's expensive.

And so, when people are needing to buy 2,000 square foot

apartments, or rent 2,000 square foot apartments,

to hold all their stuff, that's a problem too.

And it really eats into your quality of life and what you can do

in this world.

And it's not even...yeah, it's not even just your

quality of life.

How much are you going to be able to make

this world a better place if you're constantly needing to

earn money in order to take care of all your things.

So it's worth thinking about - what value that stuff

actually brings to you.

Elizabeth: And if you think about, as well, just to sort of

expand on that, all the people who pay for storage units,

to store all their extra stuff that doesn't fit in their apartment.

And I know I worked on a cruise ship, I was away for six

months, I put all of my belongings in a storage unit,

and I had to get a bigger unit than I expected,

because I realized how much crap, honestly, I had

accumulated over the course of my five years or so,

or four years that I'd been living in my own apartment.

And when I came back, I came back and took everything out

of the storage unit.

And there were so many things I completely

forgot that I owned.

Just six months away from it,

and I got rid of about half of it right there, because I just thought,

I paid, you know, however many hundreds of dollars

over the course of the six months, to just keep this stuff in a box,

and it wasn't even stuff that I care about, that I need,

that is useful to me, that brings me value, that brings me joy.

Any of this stuff.

It's just stuff.

Margaret: Yeah, and I think it also depends on perspective,

a little bit, too.

Because I've also had friends who said

that you know, well, they tend to equate minimalism -

there's different schools of minimalism.

There's the people

who you know, want to own less things than will fit in a

backpack.

And then there's people who, you know,

just have an aesthetic minimalism that's only about the way

things look.

And they might live in a 20k square foot home.

It's you know, completely different.

So it's really hard to be able to pin it down.

And I think that's one of the challenges with - as even a

movement - it has so much to do with aesthetics and art

and with the philosophy - so it's a bit confusing.

And that's what I like about zero waste, because

zero waste is more about focusing on the amount of waste

that we produce.

And really focusing on

trying to reduce our impact on the environment and things like that.

So I kind of like it when you combine the two.

Because you might be able to find someone who is

a minimalist, who is, you know, a complete consumer,

who has a gorgeous home, but is really interested in

more just a certain look or a certain lifestyle.

But it's rare to find someone who is zero waste and

minimalist, who is like that.

I think that's a little less common.

Elizabeth: And I think zero waste kind of necessitates

minimalism in a way, because you're not going to be constantly

consuming things that you don't need, if you really care

about the waste you're producing.

If you're really aware that - if I buy this pair of shoes

that I don't need, at some point they are going to go

to a landfill, then you might not buy it.

And that sort of

almost forces minimalism on you, or sort of makes

you think in a minimalist way without it being about

the aesthetics and fitting in to the trend.

Margaret: It does, and especially if you're trying to avoid

plastic, you'll soon realize that almost everything is plastic.

You wouldn't be able to anything anyways.

You definitely end up being a minimalist if you're trying

to avoid plastic.

Elizabeth: So, an interesting idea that I came across recently

is that zero waste is for the privileged because it does take

that upfront cost to get started.

Right, you know,

you have to start by buying a reusable waterbottle,

or you have to start by buying a jar you can bring in

to get your bulk rice or your bulk beans.

And not everyone can afford to pay for that container up front.

Margaret: And I think that's part of the challenge with all of these things,

because as soon as you have something like veganism,

we talked in..previously, also, about the idea of veganism

being, you know, living on a beach in Hawaii and things like that.

You know, you have that with veganism.

You have minimalism that can end up just being

white walls and Apple products everywhere.

And then with zero waste, I have to admit,

even people that I really admire, if you look at their

- and I don't blame them, if you want to sell your videos

and have people watch them and stuff, I get it.

But everything is matching Le Parfait mason jars from France

and everything.

And that isn't even really zero waste,

because I think the idea behind zero waste

is trying to minimize your waste as much as possible.

And of course, if we were going to do that,

we probably wouldn't be going out and buying a whole bunch

of things to be zero waste.

I think we should be honest with ourselves when we do that.

That we're just - we like the water bottle, you know.

It's not that we just necessarily need that, because you

can be zero waste with a, like - I have to say, at our home,

we have those spaghetti jars that come in glass containers.

And instead of going out and buying glass containers

- because I honestly couldn't afford to go out and buy all

new glass containers, nor did I want to, because

it's just - it's beautiful, but I don't need to do that

in order to be zero waste.

So what I do,

is I just save those spaghetti jars whenever we buy

spaghetti sauce, or anything else, I try to buy it in glass.

And then I've got a bunch of mismatched, glass containers.

And same goes with bags.

Like, you know, I have some that

I've gotten that are actually plastic from ikea, which are amazing.

Those 1 dollar ones, have you seen those?

Elizabeth: Like, those big ones?

Margaret: No, they have really light weight ones that I love,

that you put in your purse, that are really -

you just fold them up and they're 99 cents instead of the Baggus, which are like $13

dollars.

It's definitely a really really good deal.

So, instead of doing that, you can use bags that you might have gotten from somewhere,

because reusable bags really are kind of everywhere now.

So I kind of don't buy that.

You could use a pillow case,

it doesn't really matter.

Elizabeth: And you can usually get them for free at random places.

Margaret: Yeah, and you can reuse the plastic bags that you've got in your home.

Like, there's no-one saying you can't do that, either.

Reuse those things.

It doesn't have to be the "look" of zero waste.

I think that's...

Elizabeth: Yeah, for sure.

There may still be some kind of

upfront cost, for example, for like a coffee cup.

You maybe

can't just go around with a mug, you need something with a lid.

But so many of those things you can just reuse packaging

from things you've bought before.

Like, I recently made a video about zero waste swaps and things you could do,

and one of the things I talked about was, we store our coffee

in an old coffee can that we bought the coffee beans in.

You know, we went to the store, we bought coffee beans

and it came in a little metal container with a lid,

and now we go to our local coffee shop and get it filled

up with coffee beans, and we keep reusing this metal container that we bought it in.

It doesn't look, you know, great - it's branded, whatever,

it's not a beautiful glass jar, it's not, you know, this fancy thing,

but it works totally fine.

Margaret: Yeah, I think it's about changing your mindset.

Like you say, changing your mindset,

Using things that you can use over and over again,

instead of just going for more disposable things.

Or even going for beautiful, zero waste things, like -

that it's just about changing your perspective and trying to

produce less waste.

That it's not - unlike veganism, it's

kind of, it's definitely not a "you are or you aren't" kind of thing, right?

Like it's more a continuum, and I think you just do the best that you can.

I think that's really the most effective way to do it,

and certainly the most effective way of bringing other people on board as well.

Did you read the Zero Waste book from Bea Johnson?

Elizabeth: I haven't, no.

Margaret: I'd recommend reading it.

It's really interesting.

I have to say that when I first read it, I was not a big fan.

But I - but over time, I realized she was just giving you all

the different ideas of things that you could do.

And I have to say I've incorporated a lot more of them into my life

than I did at the beginning.

Because at the beginning

I just - when she started talking about composting

her fingernail clippings, I was like, what?!

But now - it was overwhelming - but I realized there are

so many different things you can do.

And since then, I watched a great documentary here on

YouTube the other night - and I'm going to put a link to it here,

it's just a documentary about some people living

in a caravan, living in their - in RVs and things like that.

But not fancy RVs - these people are living in very very humble ways.

And I liked it because, these people are minimalists,

they're pretty much zero waste, and they're living this lifestyle

that is very light on the earth.

And it's interesting because

they're not young hipsters.

They're old people.

I thought that was - no offence -

but they're definitely senior citizens and retired people,

and I thought that was really cool, because you're seeing

people that are not typical, that are not your stereotypical

vegan zero waster kind of person.

And it was really nice to see - I think that's good for the public

to see.

That it's not just one type of person doing this.

Because whenever - it kind of damages the whole reputation

of the movement if people think that it's only one thing.

And I liked that.

Because they were saying,

that really, a lot of minimalism, and what you were referring

to earlier, with the privilege,

a lot of it has to do with the way you look at things.

A lot of these people are living on $500 a month.

So they are in poverty.

And some of them,

they don't really have a choice about it.

But they choose to treat it as a choice.

They're choosing to look at it in that way.

And it is very privileged for me to sit here and say that's

a great way to live.

But it's nice to hear people who actually

are in that position, who are making that choice,

saying it.

Speaking for themselves instead of us speaking for

people who are in struggling circumstances.

I thought that was

really neat.

Elizabeth: Yeah.

I liked what you said about you know,

zero waste isn't a "you are zero waste or you're not"

'cause you can't be 100% zero waste.

You can't

have no impact on the planet.

But that it really is about

incremental changes and doing what you can.

And anybody,

no matter what your circumstances, can do something.

It's a tiny thing.

And you know, you can be - you're the only person

who can determine how much you can't do.

And it's different

for everybody.

But no matter what your situation, you can do

something.

Margaret: Exactly.

Some people live in places where they don't

have access to bulk bins.

And bulk bins are not part of being

zero waste.

You can do way better, actually, by buying

a 50-pound bag of rice.

Or, just buying the larger container

of dried beans that you can afford.

If you buy a larger bag of dried beans instead of the tiny one.

Some of those things are ways to cut back on your waste,

without having to have a huge outlay of cash, or having

to have access to a bulk place that lets you reuse containers.

Because, you may not be able to shrink, I think it's - there is

some unrealistic-ness for some people - it's going to be really

hard to get your trash for the year in a mason jar.

Elizabeth: Yeah.

I can't imagine getting to that point.

I mean, I would be so proud of myself if I did, but I...

I mean for me, that seems completely unattainable.

So I understand other people thinking that seems extreme,

or impossible.

Margaret: Yeah.

Because there's some places where -

and one of the things that's very unrealistic about it is that

I've noticed most people who do that, live in places with

fairly good recycling programs.

And if you live in a city that

doesn't have those programs, you probably aren't going to be able

to recycle all the types of plastic that they're able to recycle.

So I would say, don't let that - if you're interested in producing

less waste, if you want to use less plastic and do better things

for the environment, don't let an image of someone online

tell you how you should be.

You know, don't let that be

- don't just give up because you can't live like so and so.

You have to do it for yourself, you decide how your journey

is going to go in that direction.

Thank you so much for being here, Elizabeth!

I am so glad that you were able to come to Calgary!

This

has been so much fun!

She is so cool!

Be sure and check her channel out, I will have the link right there.

And Elizabeth, it's just amazing to have you here.

Be sure and subscribe to her channel, 'cause she's amazing.

And thank you so much for joining us.

And I will see you in my next video.

Take care.

Elizabeth: Bye!

Mother's Day - Hold On - Duration: 1:20.

And if you try to hang on too long.

What happens is your kids are going to resent you.

Because they're going to feel like you're too controlling.

Don't poke your mom if you're next to her right now

But you will also feel anxious.

Because, can I tell you something?

You can't control your son or daughter.

You can encourage you can pray.

But you need to release

and say "God"

"Thank God that you watch them when I can't watch them"

"Thank God that you care for them more than I care for them"

"Thank God that I have put everything that i knew how to put into them"

and now Lord I have to release them.

To live their lives and to make their choices.

Some of which I may not agree with.

I know that's hard.

It's hard for me as a parent but we're releasing them to God and saying.

'Lord you are over seeing them"

amen

Homemade Essential Oil Roll On Headache Stick - Duration: 2:54.

- See this?

This little thing costs me $9.00.

It's an expensive, little migraine roll-on stick.

You put it on your temples when you have a headache,

and it really works.

The thing is I don't wanna pay $9.00

every time I get one of these.

Hi, everyone, I'm Wardee from Traditional Cooking School.

And this little thing only contains

essential oils and a carrier oil.

It is so easy that you can make it yourself,

save a ton of money.

Let's do it right now.

This is an empty 10-millileter roll-on bottle.

And I'm gonna take Peppermint Essential Oil

and put about 30 drops in here.

Now stick with me to the end

because I'm gonna show you how to get

this Peppermint Essential Oil for free.

Thirty drops.

And then you're gonna add

a liquid carrier oil of your choice.

This is Avocado Oil.

Kind of hold it up to the light

when you put your oil in so you don't overfill the bottle.

Add the roll-on cap.

Press it in a bit, and then you use a towel

to get it the rest of the way.

And it doesn't always go all the way,

so then you apply the cap and screw it down.

And that pops it on the rest of the way.

Now you're gonna shake gently.

And now you have your own roll-on migraine stick.

So you apply it to your temples

or other pressure points anytime

you have tension headaches, or aches and pains.

It really works and you'll save a bundle.

Wanna know how to get this 15-millileter

Peppermint Essential Oil plus a

15-mill Tea Tree Essential Oil for free?

These are two of my favorite essential oils.

They belong in any healthy household

because they're so useful and healthy

for all kinds of household purposes.

My friends at Aroma Foundry are giving you

these two free essential oils

when you purchase the Herbs & Essential Oils

Super Bundle that's on sale right now.

This super bundle is an amazing savings of its own.

This is a collection of herbs

and essential oils resources,

like 16 e-books and printables,

10 e-courses, all worth more than $750,

including $106 in bonuses.

And it's all put together for a limited time for 94% off.

And my own Herbs & Essential Oils e-book is included

and it's not available anywhere else.

When you purchase the Herbs & Essential Oils

Super Bundle through one of my links,

that's very important, then you'll be able to

claim the two extra essential oils,

Peppermint and Tea Tree, for free, just pay shipping.

It's a great deal and I hope you take advantage of it

by following the links with this video.

But do hurry because this offer lasts just a few days.

And be sure to share it with your friends and family, too.

Thanks for joining me.

God bless you.

Meet our students! - ANNE, don Quijote Schools - Duration: 2:29.

Hi, my name is Anna I'm from Holland

and I am 26 years old.

I chose Spain because

I wanted to go to Salamanca

because people told me

that the people there

speak the purest form of Spanish.

I really like the building

I think it's very old

but it's very pretty as well.

And I like that I can study with different people

from all over the world.

Well, I really like that it's in the city center

so it's very close to different stores, to different restaurants...

and there's also a big park very close

so after a class we can go to the park

and study a bit

but also enjoy the sun or relax a bit.

Well I started as an absolute beginner

with Spanish language

and first we learned how to introduce ourselves

and to count and stuff like that.

To ask our way. Stuff like that.

Well, the classes are very small, there are only seven other students in my class

so the teacher has a lot of time

for every student

and I like that there are students from all over the world

so it's not only Dutch people

well, people from other countries

but it's very diverse.

Well, Spanish is very different from Dutch,

so for me it's kind of difficult to learn the language

but the teachers are very patient with the students

and after class we can practice

with well the other students

and also the people I live with in my apartment

and also in a city center

I try to practice as much as I can.

Yes I would really like to visit Barcelona

because I've never been to Barcelona

and also next year I'm planning to go Mexico

I would also like to study Spanish

at the don Quijote school there as well.

I think there is a school in Playa del Carmen, but im not sure

so I would like to go there.

I think everyone will say this

but I think learning a new language

and also learning about a new culture

has been the best thing for me

I really like to meet other people

and live with people from all over the world

I think that's the best…the best part

Yeah sure, (speaks Spanish):

I am Anna and I am from Holland

I like Spain a lot!

Series I Need to Continue/Finish - Duration: 5:09.

Hey everyone, my name is Kylie and this

is Miss Kyle Reads and today I wanted to

bring you a quick video. I don't know how

quick it's going to be but I wanted to

bring you a video about all of the

series that I own that I would like to

either continue on with or to finish.

Now this is not series or trilogies that

I own that I would like to start. These

are ones that I've either- either read

the first book or the first few or I

just have the last book to finish that I

actually own so I need to do it. So let's

just jump into them because there are

quite a few and the first one is kind of

cheating because I never actually,

technically finished the first book and

that is the Chronicles of Amber by Roger

Zelazny and this is the huge, Great Book

of Amber, the whole omnibus of ten novels

and I started the first one when I was

in a little bit of a reading slump and I

never finished it. But I would love to

read these because I've got the whole

thing so I would just love to read this.

Next are ones that I have read the first

book and I own more than the first book

so I need to finish these and the first

one of those is the omnibus of the Night

Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks. I read the

first one, I read it twice last year

which is crazy but I felt like I needed

to reread it and I've got the other two

in this bind up so I just need to finish

those. I just, I just need to do it. Brent

Weeks's first trilogy; I need to do it.

I'm not going to go into great depth

about any of these because you've

probably heard me talk about them before

or you've heard somebody talk about them

before. I'm just listing off for you what

I need to finish or continue on with. You

get me? So the first one I read quite

recently of this one and that is Lord of

Emperors, the second book in the Sarantine

Mosaic. This is a duology and I

read the first book, Sailing to Sarantium

in April so I would love to

continue on and read this one just

because it's a duology so I could finish

it. But anyways, I loved the first one a

lot.

Love his writing, love everything about it.

Loved the characters, everything. Kay?

Next one is Fool Moon by Jim Butcher. I

read Storm Front like in 2015 and I

haven't continued on and if I don't

continue on, then I won't get to the ones

that are-everybody says are so great.

So I need to continue on but Fool Moon

right here. Also one that drives me nuts

is With Blood Upon the Sand by

Bradley Beaulieu and I read Twelve Kings in

Sharakhai back in February, January? And I

would love to continue on and read this

one just because I had such high hopes

for it so I just need to do it.

Also, the Rose Society by Marie Lu, the

first one in this trilogy is the Young

Elites which I liked. I think I read it in

2015, 2014 maybe. But I liked where it was

going and I think this one could be

going in a good direction. So I've got

the second one so I just need to read it.

I mention this one all the time because I

need to continue on with the Wheel of

Time and read the Great Hunt by Robert

Jordan. I really enjoyed the Eye of the

World when I read it. I just haven't

continued on with it and I would love to

you know, get me some good old classic

90s fantasy. I have read the first book

in Brandon Sanderson's Reckoners trilogy

so I need to read Firefight and Calamity,

the second and third books in that trilogy.

because I love Brandon Sanderson so I

don't know why I haven't read these yet

know a few books that I have read the

first two books in these series and I

just need to continue and read the third

ones that I own and the first of those

is stable Haven grip of the shadow

plague which is the third book in the

fable Haven series and I read the second

one in April so I really need to read

this one because I love fable Haven it's

such a great middle grade series I love

Brandon moles writing I just thoroughly

enjoy it

next is the broken eye vibrant wakes

this is the third book in a light burner

series and I have no words because I

love the library series a lot the

enjoyment factor it's really high for me

for that series so I need to continue on

and I own it so I don't know why I

haven't continued on basically that's

the gist of this whole video so next

category is books that I have yet to

complete the last book in the trilogy

these are all trilogies and I have yet

to complete the last book in them and

the first of those is Assassin's Quest

or the Farseer trilogy by Robin hobb I

am listening to the audiobook of this

currently for this one I'm working on

aren't you proud of me I want to finish

this part of your trilogy so I can get

to the rest of Robin hobb books so I am

just making my way through slowly but

this one's getting accomplished and it

makes me feel really good next one is

continent of light by ve Schwab and I

know a lot of people don't like this

shades of magic trilogy but I really

enjoy it okay let's finish my batter is

going to die this has never happened to

me and the last book I have to talk to

you is one that I'm kind of debating

whether I'm going to finish or not and

that is library of souls I write what

I've said vibrant weeks by ransom Riggs

and I read miss Peregrine's and the

second book hollow city quite a while

ago quite a few years ago and I just

don't really have any interest in

finishing this trilogy anymore but I own

it so I might as well finish it hey

everyone thanks for joining me for this

quick video where I talk about the

series but I actually own that I read at

least the first book for or that I just

need to finish give this video a big

thumbs up if you enjoyed it and comment

down below with series that you guys own

that you just need to finish because you

own them I will text you guys next time

goodbye

EASY OUTDOOR WORKOUT + Vegan Pre/Post Meals with calories & nutrition - Duration: 4:32.

hey guys today I'm showing you my pre

and post-workout meals, as well as my

workout which is slightly different to

last one. for breakfast I wasn't really

hungry because I had a lot of food the

dinner before, so I just had a bunch of

fruits and some oats as well as some

seeds and nuts. I just like this because

it is super fresh and it still has a lot

of nutrients. I also add almond

butter because, why not ! and I always

have some fresh, always, I usually have

some fresh almond milk in the fridge

which I also like with that breakfast !

and then, it was very sunny and warm

outside so I decided I didn't want to go

to the gym but rather go for a run so

that's what I did !

hey definetly didn't estimate the

pollution, at the end it was really

like, really tough to breathe. I was kind

of struggling, especially on a clear day

when it gets warmer the pollution tends

to, kind of, build up I'd say. and so you

didn't see the body weight exercises

that I did but I actually did some of

them. the reason I didn't film is because.

it's because as you saw I went to

very touristic places, maybe I shouldn't

have, but it was really hard to find a

bench that was, actually, two bench that

were empty so I could put my camera on

one and then have enough space in the

background for me to show you

what I did. because it was just full

of tourists and just people eating

out because it was around noon actually , so

yeah I'm going to put the stuff that I

did.

so that's it for the two meals, this is a

little breakdown of the nutrition, this

is only for two meals by the way. if you

want to see particular vitamins or

minerals, just pause this video and it

can tell you where I got these minerals

from! make sure you subscribe if you

enjoyed this video and to activate the

notification button and thank you for

watching and I will see you in my next

video! bye guys!

Art At The Isar - The Sun - Duration: 6:15.

This is now the second "Art At The Isar".

Because we have no own romms

and also the name "Gallery in Motion"

it says, it is a good idea

to make something at and in the river Isar.

I wanted to make a swimming carpet,

that was the start situation. It was also clear

a round disc, the sun, this poetry

of Morgenstern, that was cited

was the strating point.

It should become a swimming sun.

I made three models,

which I tested, how they swim

and that was a good move.

Classical sculptors use different material

yes, but I think it is exciting

and charming to work with all day materials

and building something.

I came over the tetra packs,

because I thought, what is swimming.

Almost 1.300 items. Yes I have counted them.

I made this effort.

A half year in circle of acquaintances and friends,

the last weeks I noticed,

that there are 500 items missing for the circle

to finish the segment and than I walked

every day to the old town to cafes

to collect more tetra packs.

They all helped.

Today evening I know, what I have done.

That he doesn't lean to much forward.

Yes, this would be really good, because

than I have the strong one and

there I have a bigger carabine,

it has over 200 kg (440 lbs).

I thank of course the

"Gallery in Motion", to make it possible

espacially to Herbert,

who supportd me completely and

was with me, to choose the place

for the model, he was there, very active.

If I let the boat drift backwards with the sun ...

So I prepared everything at home to a point,

where I have the feeling and calculated

that it is possible in one day,

with a team in the background,

Who support active.

There I was really queasy, because it was

the side, which should be the most out of the water,

and I already thought by myself,

if all bottles are destroyed now,

will it already work.

That was exciting up to the last moment,

if it will work, how I have imagined

and it will be so much out of the water

as I have calculated it.

They came during the first "Kunst an der Isar"

2012 to us, if we can support them,

because they knew, that in THW (Technical Aid Organization)

has boats and so it was in 2015

again a working together.

I have met with the organisator

Herbert Obermeier on two occassions

to discuss it and it has

worked better than at the first time.

5 Non Spiritual Activities That Promote Spiritual Growth - Duration: 6:03.

5 (Non-Spiritual) Activities That Promote Spiritual Growth

People often compare spirituality and religion as if they are the same thing, but this is

very misguided.

A person does not have to say their prayers, attend sacred services or devote any special

specific time or money to anyone in order to be spiritually connected or active.

Similarly, a person who regularly follows rigid religious practices isnt necessarily

particularly spiritually connected themselves.

Good spiritual health can manifest in a couple of different ways.

First, there is the collective or cultural spiritual health; This is something you see

in a society, for example, the way they treat the elderly or the attitude toward impoverished

members of said society.

The ability to accept those who are different from them is also a big indicator.

The second way this manifests is in an individual manner.

This is how well you truly know yourself or your own soul.

How connected you are to your own inner space, or your base instincts and inclinations is

a pretty clear indicator of spiritual health.

A healthy spiritual connection within yourself can be cultivated by raising your personal

consciousness and being as present in the moment as possible.

Many people achieve this through traditional practices like meditation or yoga, but it

can also be achieved by getting in touch with the things you have passion and love for.

Here are 5 non-traditional ways to promote your spiritual health and well being.

1.

Tactile arts and crafts

This includes anything from cross-stitching to oil painting to Origami.

Working with your own hands to make something original or beautiful is always a great way

to express yourself with authenticity.

We rely on very subtle inner cues to inspire us creatively, and this can be an incredibly

informative process to go through while also being downright fun.

2.

Taking part in music

Whether you are just listening and experiencing it or playing it yourself, music is a wonderful

tool for self expression and exploration.

Something about music can move us in psychological and emotional ways like nothing else can.

Clear vibratory tones have even been used as part of traditional medicinal practices

since ancient times.

Music truly connects the body and mind to the soul.

3.

Do some writing

Writing is a unique form of expression in the sense that you can use it as an outlet

for extremely intimate and private thoughts in the first person, or you can use it as

an extension of yourself, expressing things through metaphor or symbol in a different

narrative.

Either way, it is thoroughly cathartic and useful for documenting and being able to see

the progress youve made over time.

4.

Exercise and movement

All human beings need movement in order to thrive.

Even if you are injured or out of shape, some form of (appropriately safe) exercise is nearly

always recommended by medical and spiritual healers.

Movement and physical activity not only promote a healthy body and efficient function of joints

and muscles, but it also encourages your brain to release more of the chemicals that make

us alert and keep us content.

Getting out and exercising doesnt necessarily have to mean going to the gym or doing push

ups or running a mile, it can be low impact and soothing, swimming in a cool pool or hiking

a beautiful mountain trail.

This promotes a full activation and connection between mind, body, and spirit.

It also gives us time to reflect.

5.

Do nothing at all

In these modern times of technology and media, many of us are left with almost no time in

the day during which we have no external stimuli engaging our senses.

This might be fine for the most part, but truthfully one of the best things you can

do to enhance spiritual growth is to spend some time totally alone with just yourself

and your thoughts.

Simple introspection without any distractions will do wonders for a persons relationship

to their spirituality.

Some do this through a meditative practice, but it can also be done just by withdrawing

into a quiet place where youre comfortable and safe to question and work on yourself

without fear of judgment

or disturbance.

10 Best Places to Visit in Israel - Duration: 10:57.

10 Best Places to Visit in Israel.

For a country the size of New Jersey, Israel is startlingly diverse.

Almost anywhere you travel in this Middle Eastern country, you're sure to come across

historic religious sites mentioned in the Bible.

You'll also come across ancient Roman ruins as well as other archaeological ruins dating

back thousands of years.

If old things aren't your cup of tea, Israel has some great beaches, good outdoor opportunities,

and a sophisticated cultural scene.

An overview of the best places to visit in Israel.

10: Nazareth.

Nazareth, the largest city in Galilee, is known as the Arab capital of the country because

its residents are predominantly Arab citizens of Israel.

Nazareth is a pilgrimage destination for Christians because the Bible says it was the home of

Joseph and Mary and hence the childhood home of Jesus.

This ancient city is where the angel Gabriel appeared to tell Mary she would give birth

to Jesus.

Because of this, Nazareth is sometimes called the cradle of Christianity.

Its Old City boasts the Church of the Annunciation, the largest Catholic church in the Middle

East.

Take time, too, to walk the picturesque streets and visit the colorful local market.

9: Caesarea.

Caesarea is both ancient and new.

It was founded by Herod the Great in honor of Caesar Augustus, who gave him the city.

In 1952, it became the only city in Israel to be governed by a private corporation.

Antiquities park is where you'll find ruins from Herod's extensive building campaign.

You'll also find more ruins by walking through the old city or maybe you'll want to take

in a re-enactment of horse races in the hippodrome.

The new Caesarea is modern and upscale.

Maybe you'll want to sunbathe on the sandy beaches, play golf or take in the annual jazz

festival.

8: Ramon Crater.

Ramon Crater is the largest of three erosion craters found in the Negev Desert.

The geological landform is believed to have started forming millions of years ago when

the ocean began receding.

It was a few more million years before it became the crater it is today.

Ringed by mountains, the colorful crater is more than 450 meters (1,500 feet) deep and

nearly 40 km (25 miles) long.
