15 Amazing Facts about the Human Body - Duration: 5:58.Brainy Dose Presents:
15 Amazing Facts About the Human Body
Your body is the most complex biological mechanism on earth, and it consists of several incredible
processes, as well as some surprises that you may not know about!
Number One: Only 50% of Your Cells Are Human
It's been a common belief that about 1 in 10 of the cells in your body are actually
human.
The rest are made up of microbes that live on you, and inside of you!
They consist of bacteria and viruses, along with other micro-organisms.
However, recent studies suggest that the ratio is closer to 50/50!
Number Two: Mites Live In Your Eyelashes
These creepy, microscopic creatures live in the hair follicles and pores of your face,
and particularly love eyelashes, where they feed on oils and dead skin cells.
They like to come out at night to mate and reproduce.
However, if they multiply too much, they can cause skin and eye irritation.
Number Three: You Are Hairier Than a Gorilla
Most people have about 5 million hair follicles on their bodies.
That's about 3 times more than a gorilla!
The difference is that human body hair is a lot finer, therefore it is a lot less noticeable.
If you have excessive body hair, however, you'll be pleased to know that it has been
linked to a higher intellect.
Number Four: Earwax Means Good Ear Health
While many people find earwax to be disgusting, it's actually a very important part of your
ear's defense system.
It protects the delicate inner ear from bacteria, fungus, dirt and even insects.
It also cleans and lubricates the ear canal.
However, excessive earwax needs to be addressed.
Number Five: Your Middle Finger Nail Grows the Fastest
According to research, nail growth is related to the length of the finger - with the longest
fingers growing nails the fastest, and shortest the slowest.
In addition, the nail on the middle finger of your DOMINANT HAND grows the fastest of
all!
Number Six: The Brain Itself Cannot Feel Pain
While the brain might be the pain center when you hurt yourself, the brain itself does not
have pain receptors and cannot feel pain.
However, the brain is surrounded by lots of tissues, nerves and blood vessels that ARE
receptive to pain, and can give you a pounding headache nonetheless.
Number Seven: Some Tumors Can Grow Teeth
A certain type of tumor, called a teratoma, is made up of cysts that contain embryonic
cell layers.
Teratomas have been reported to contain hair, teeth, bone, and on rare occasions eyes, hands,
feet and other limbs.
Number Eight: You have a Unique Smell
Unless you are an identical twin, as part of that smell is determined by genetics, you
have a unique smell.
However, your individual smell is also largely due to dietary and environmental factors.
Personal hygiene products play a role in creating your unique scent as well.
Number Nine: You Shed 50 To 100 Hairs Every Day
Your pet isn't the only one in your house that sheds!
The average human scalp has 100,000 hairs, and the lifespan of a human hair is about
3 to 7 years.
Every day you lose about 50-100 strands of hair.
But don't worry, you need to lose over 50% of your scalp hairs before it becomes apparent
to others.
Number Ten: Your Feet Can Produce Over a Pint of Sweat a Day
Each of your feet has at least 250,000 sweat glands, and is capable of producing more than
a pint of sweat per day.
However, the sweat itself does not make your feet stink.
The bad odor is actually caused by bacteria on the skin that thrive in sweaty conditions.
Number Eleven: If Saliva Cannot Dissolve Something, You Cannot Taste it
In order for foods, or anything else, to have a taste, chemicals from the substance must
be dissolved by saliva.
Try it for yourself!
Dry off your tongue and then taste something.
Number Twelve: Your Body Fights off Cancer Cells Throughout Your Life
Your immune system kills off at least one "would-be cancerous cell" every day.
This gets compromised when the immune system becomes weak, ineffective or the cancer cells
are developing at such a high rate, that the body cannot kill the cells fast enough.
Number Thirteen: Your Nose and Ears Keep Growing
Bones stop growing shortly after puberty, and muscle and fat cell division decreases
as you age.
But cartilage in your ears and nose continues to grow until the day you die.
Not only does cartilage grow, the earlobes also elongate from gravity.
Number Fourteen: You Produce 1 to 3 Pints of Gas per Day
We produce far more gas than we realize!
That's because most of it actually doesn't smell.
The average person farts (or releases gas) about 14 times a day, and that can add up
to between 1 and 3 pints of gas per day.
Which means that you will release about half a million farts in your lifetime!
Number Fifteen: By the age of 60, You'll Lose About Half of Your Taste Buds
Older individuals tend to lose their ability to taste, and many find that they need much
more intense flavoring in order to be able to fully appreciate a dish.
Maybe you shouldn't trust grandma's cooking after all?!

Spotlight - 2016 Ford F-250, 4" BDS, 20x10's, 35's - Duration: 5:30.- Hey guys, Shawn again.
Custom Offsets, Custom Offsets TV, on YouTube.
Got another vehicle spotlight for ya.
So it's pretty much, a brand new 300-mile Ford F-250 2016.
Just did a 4-inch BDS and some 35's.
Let's go.
♫ Mean trucks, decked out
♫ Roll into the woods and they flexed out
♫ Rims so big and the windows black
♫ Got the light bar lit up
♫ Double chromed out stacks
♫ Yeah we love to get em dirty
♫ But still they so clean
♫ Custom Offsets, Team Stance is the team
♫ We on top of it now, we ain't never gonna fade
♫ So ya better get ready we're takin over the game!
(trap music)
Hey guys, like I said this is a 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty.
This one's a XLT with the FX4 off-road package.
And what he's got here, is he went with the 20 by 10 -24
and this is is a Moto Metal M0961.
So, you can see it's got, you know
the star pattern with the split-spoke, the red inserts.
And these are those inserts you can
take out and make any color you want.
He really liked em' because they match up
with the decal of the FX4 edition and just wanted to
kind of set it off that way.
So, a 10-wide -24, you're gonna' see it's gonna run a good
solid four-inch lip between the spokes.
And then out in front of that spoke is gonna be more like a
probably two and a half, three-inch lip.
So, about three here and then four-inch there.
So, for a 10-wide -24, you know that's
typically what you want to see
is a good four-inch lip on that.
And then he's got the spike lug nuts.
So, he did the chrome spike lug notes all the way around.
And then he's got those wrapped in a TOYO Open Country AT2,
which is their all terrain tire.
And this is the extreme, which I
believe they switched all the AT2s.
Or at least in this size I know they're all the extremes.
So, you're gonna' see this one he's
got completely wrapped in the TOYO Open Country AT2.
And this is gonna' be a 35 by 12 1/2.
So, this truck comes with a stock, uh,
it's like a 34.1 or something like that.
So, he went up a little bit because
he matched that up with the four-inch BDS.
So, as far as this lift kit goes
it's gonna' be with the complete coil replacement.
And then he did the FOX 2.0 shock upgrades.
And then it's gonna push that whole
entire straight axle down.
And then he's got his um,
drop brackets here pushing the entire
system down, the whole front axle.
And then back here, rather than use blocks,
what this kit does is it actually is
inclusive of the rear leaf pack.
So this one he's got the rear leaf pack in here,
So there's no blocks in here.
It's just the beefed up leaf pack
to raise the back end of the truck up.
And then you end up with a leveled truck.
And then again, he did the Fox 2.0 upgrade on the back too.
So, as far as the fitment up front,
you can see that
You're gonna have no rub, except for
this little bit of trimming of the liner
is the only place you have to make a little room.
Up front you're totally clear.
So, that's that four-inch.
If you get bigger than this,
a lot of guys will go 37s or go 12 wides.
Then you start to get into this bracket,
and a lot of times that's what
we end up removing or modifying,
in order to clear that.
And then same thing you have to start
getting into this stuff back here and making room.
But with the 35s and the four-inch
on 10 wides you're good to go.
You've got all the clearance.
Like I said, this things got 300 miles on it.
So, I'll just show you it's a--
It's a brand new truck.
You're not gonna' see much other custom work yet.
He just got his hands on it.
So, he's got the chrome grill, chrome bumpers,
chrome accents on the mirrors, the chrome step up bars.
That's why he wanted to go with a chrome wheel,
to keep that look going.
So he went with a cloth interior.
And then this is the extended cab.
It's got the smaller back seat.
You'll see he went with a truck box.
Getting the aluminum to get that same chrome look,
that one's by Better Built.
And that's pretty much it Mario.
The four-inch BDS, the Moto Metal 961s,
the TOYO Open Country AT2s, with some spiked lug nuts,
and he's ready to roll.
So that's another vehicle spotlight for you guys,
one we just rolled out of here.
We got quite a few of em still coming.
So we'll keep em coming as long as you guys keep watching,
keep letting us know what else you wanna see.
I know guys were saying they wanna see
more of the Super Duties.
And we're always looking for more Dodge Rams,
more Toyotas, the Tundras, and the Tacomas.
Cause I know you guys were saying you wanna see those, so.
Appreciate your subscribe.
Appreciate you guys following us.
Appreciate ya hanging in there
and letting us know what you like.
Peace.

John Boehner tried to keep Donald Trump from shutting down the government report - Duration: 2:12.John Boehner tried to keep Donald Trump from shutting down the government report
A new report indicates that the government came closer to shutting down than many realized
earlier this month.
President Donald Trump was apparently dissatisfied with the outcome of the spending bill negotiations
and was contemplating vetoing it, according to a report by Axios.
White House chief of staff Reince Priebus was concerned enough about the possibility
that Trump would follow through on this that he asked John Boehner, the former Speaker
of the House, to explain why it was so important for the president to sign the bill.
Trump to cut $800 billion in Medicaid cuts
Boehner apparently told Trump that, along with being pleased that he didnt have to
match military spending increases with domestic spending, the president should realize that
the last thing he needed was a government shutdown.
While it is unclear whether Boehners arguments were crucial to the presidents decision
to sign the bill, the report indicates that Priebus feeling the need to reach out to Boehner
at all suggests that Trump vetoing the bill was a real possibility.
This doesnt mean that Trumps spending-related woes have subsided.
Trump is expected to propose a budget on Tuesday that will include massive cuts to Medicaid
spending, while House Republicans continue to be divided over whether to cut $54 billion
in domestic spending as Trump has proposed.
This is a particularly critical issue for the party because, in order to pass tax reform
in the Senate without a Democratic filibuster, they need to successfully pass a budget resolution.
Yet just as many Republican moderates were reluctant to support the American Health Care
Act out of concern that it would hurt low-income Americans, so too are many hesitating to support
domestic spending cuts that would target the most vulnerable.

Could a turtle live outside its shell? - Duration: 5:17.[BEEPING]
Hi, it's Doug.
You can see here I have a turtle.
There are different kinds of turtles.
This kind is called a tortoise, and you
might have heard of them.
Tortoises are turtles that live on dry land.
They don't need to be in water.
In fact, they don't like to be in water.
Now, why do I have a turtle with me?
Well, this is actually my pet.
It's my pet tortoise.
And I thought it'd be fun to get it out,
because someone named Samaliya has a question for us about
turtles.
Let's give her a call now.
[BEEPING]
Hi Doug.
I have a question for you.
Hey Samaliya.
Could a turtle live outside its shell?
That's a great question, Samaliya.
Let me show you something.
You know how turtles have this shell that they can hide in.
They can pull their head in if they want
to, even their legs and tail.
But could a turtle come out of its shell
completely, like crawl out of it and leave its shell behind?
Like, you might wonder, maybe a turtle is like a hermit crab.
Hermit crabs are these creatures that live in shells,
but the shell isn't part of their body.
They can come out of their shells completely.
Could a turtle do that, too?
Well, let's look at a picture of a turtle up close.
Does this give us any ideas?
If you want to pause the video to take a longer look at it,
now would be a good time.
OK, you ready?
If you've ever touched a turtle shell,
then you know it's very hard.
It feels similar to how a fingernail feels.
It feels like a similar material.
And the top part here, what looks like a pattern or design,
I learned once is actually separate pieces, almost
like tiles.
Now, none of this really helps us figure out
if a turtle can come out of its shell, though.
But look at this photo again.
This here-- this is the turtle's skin,
and these parts on top and bottom are the shell.
Now right here, maybe you noticed
that there's no space between the turtle's
skin and its shell.
It's all connected.
A turtle's skin is connected to its shell.
So I have to say, it seems like a turtle's shell is probably
part of its body.
I'm thinking the answer to the question
is no, a turtle can't come out of its shell
the way a hermit crab can.
But it'd be great to be totally sure.
Now, how can we be totally sure?
Is there anything else we could look at?
Well, what we really need is to be
able to look inside the shell.
And for that, we need to see a turtle's bones.
That's what you see here.
This is a real picture of a turtle skeleton.
We can see turtles do have bones, just like we do.
You see here's the skull, here's the neck bones, leg bones.
But now, what about the shell?
Let's get a closer look at that.
Again, if you want to pause the video to look,
now would be a good time.
OK, you ready?
Now maybe you saw what I saw, that the shell itself,
on the inside, is white.
You see that there?
It looks like it's made of bone.
In fact, if we flip a turtle skeleton over
so that we can look at the turtle from below,
we can see its backbone here.
Now, look really closely.
It looks like the shell is just part of the backbone.
Can you see that?
Interesting.
Now, it turns out sometimes scientists
find fossils of turtle bones.
I'm talking about bones from turtles
that lived long, long ago.
This is a turtle fossil right here.
A really long time ago, it seems that turtles
didn't have the complete shells that they have today.
Instead, a long time ago, it was just really long backbones.
So maybe, over time, scientists think,
turtle backbones have gotten bigger and bigger, to the point
where the backbone now forms a complete shell on the turtle's
back.
So can a turtle live outside its shell?
Well, you've seen all the clues.
The answer is no, a turtle's shell is part of its body.
When we look on the inside at the turtle's skeleton,
we can see that the shell is part of the turtle's backbone.
And when we look at turtle fossils,
we can see that back in time, it definitely
was just the backbone.
So thanks, Samaliya, for asking that question.
Now, for next week, I reached into my question jar,
and I found three questions that were submitted that I'm
thinking about answering next.
When this video is done playing, you'll get to vote on one.
You can choose from--
why is the sky blue?
I found this rock with all these holes in it.
How did they get there?
Or, why can't everyone curl their tongues?
Submit your vote when the video's over.
I want to hear from all of you watching.
Remember, there are mysteries all around you.
Have fun and stay curious.

Bizarre budget afterthought Why is Team Trump unveiling his terrible budget while the president is o - Duration: 7:07.Bizarre budget afterthought Why is Team Trump unveiling his terrible budget while the president
is overseas
President Donald Trump is exhausted.
At least thats what an aide told the press as an explanation for why he used the word
Islamic rather than Islamist in his big speech in Saudi Arabia and ended up
offending his hosts.
After the speech, Trump canceled his appearance at the Tweeps Forum and had his daughter fill
in for him.
He did manage to handle a weird glowing orb and swayed along to a traditional all-male
sword dance along with Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson
and White House adviser Steve Bannon on the first night of his trip but none of that looked
very arduous.
And the team brought home a major arms deal, with the presidents son-in-law Jared Kushner
arranging a nice discount for the wealthy Saudi government, which will undoubtedly give
the war in Yemen a big boost.
But the administration didnt come away empty-handed by any means.
The Ivanka Foundation apparently scored a gift from gulf sources, which flies in the
face of what Donald Trump once had to say about the Clinton Foundation:
For Mondays stop in Israel, most Israeli government ministers were planning to boycott
the airport ceremony until Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a fit and demanded
that they attend.
(The ministers were a little miffed that Trump gave away one of their intelligence operatives
while swinging his yuge intel around for the Russians.)
The White House had previously requested that Israel shorten the welcoming ceremony officials
had planned at the airport because of the heat, which is lucky considering that Trump
was falling apart just three days into his trip.
It seems that our president is lacking in the strength and stamina required for the
job.
You might even call him low energy.
Trump's signing ceremony with King Salman Still, it probably beats being back in Washington
and dealing with the Russian investigation.
The last two weeks have been historically bad.
Even the best-run White House in the world would have had trouble carrying on with the
normal business of governing under these circumstances and I think everyone knows by now that
this is not the best-run White House in the world.
So it should not be surprising that for reasons that make no sense whatsoever, the Trump administration
chose this moment to drop its proposed budget.
And it is a bomb.
First of all, its bizarre to do this while the president is on his first big overseas
trip.
As Forbes Stan Collender observed, the production of the budget is normally a major
political endeavor, choreographed in every detail over the course of at least a week.
It usually begins with the State of the Union address, when the president would unveil his
major policy proposals to the nation.
Then administration officials would strategically leak specific details and issue trial balloons,
after which top members of the economic team would hit the airwaves to sell the plan to
the public.
Thats just the beginning.
Collender explained how things normally work:
The budget was then sent to Congress the next day.
The president typically held a press conference to take a political victory lap for what he
was proposing.
Federal departments and agencies would do a briefing that same day for reporters.
Cabinet members would appear the rest of the week at congressional hearings on their budgets.
In one final gasp, the new presidents budget would then be the prime topic of conversation
on that weekends talk shows.
None of this is happening.
It is also true that even if members of Team Trump tried to follow that script it would
be tough because of all the scandals and investigations.
But they arent even trying.
The president will be on the air all week, but he wont be talking about this.
As far as we know, the members of the economic team who arent traveling with the president
arent booked for any TV this week.
Even more problematic is the fact that they are dropping this budget during the same week
that the Congressional Budget Office report on the Trumpcare bill is scheduled to be released
which will create another round of devastating headlines in local papers all over the country.
And for obscure procedural reasons, the House may even have to go through the agony of voting
on that toxic waste of a bill all over again.
Needless to say, the leaks weve seen suggest this budget is a nightmare that could have
been written by the most conservative member of Congress advised by the Heritage Foundation.
It is a full-fledged assault on children those who are poor or have disabilities and elderly
people.
According to Jonathan Swan at Axios, these are the bullet points:
Balanced budget: I am told Trumps budget will balance over ten years.
To get there, it will propose tough cuts on both the mandatory and discretionary sides
e.g. to the EPA and State Department and will assume that the U.S. economy will grow
at 3 percent instead of the 1.6 percent rate it grew in 2016.
The 3 percent growth rate will be reached after a few years, not immediately.
Where the entitlement cuts are made: From programs including SNAP (food stamps), CHIP
(Childrens Health Insurance Program), and SSDI (Disability Insurance).
The budget proposal will also assume that Trump can sign into law the American Health
Care Act the Obamacare repeal and replace bill that passed the House and is now being
considered by the Senate.
That bill makes substantial cuts to Medicaid.
How the entitlement money will be saved: The source tells me therell be an emphasis
on work requirements for able-bodied people to save money on these social welfare programs.
The new GOP populism looks an awful lot like the old conservative GOPs politics after
all.
The only thing missing is the huge tax cuts we know are coming, but Trump will almost
certainly insist on a really big show for his reform plan.
Hell be happy to go out and tell people how much they are winning.
Hes obviously not so keen on owning up to all the losing.
The good news is that this budget is likely dead on arrival.
It will bring a few days of very bad press for Republicans and could shave another point
or two off the presidents already historically low poll numbers.
It suffers from the same dynamic that has made Trumpcare into a giant albatross choking
the life out of mainstream Republicans, but with one important difference.
Since this austerity budget isnt something theyve all been running for office on these
past few years (the way they did on repealing Obamacare), it may just die an early death.
Which is very much preferable to all the humans who would do so if the bill were passed.

Pastor Hannah Sings Is 6 - Duration: 6:19.
Come let us worship the Lord in the beauty of Holiness
Come let us worship the Lord in the beauty of Holiness
Give Him the honor give Him the praise
In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted
up, and his train filled the temple.
2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face,
and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole
earth is full of his glory.
4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled
with smoke.
5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I
dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the
LORD of hosts.
6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had
taken with the tongs from off the altar: 7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said,
Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?
Then said I, Here am I; send me.
9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye
indeed, but perceive not.
10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes;
lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart,
and convert, and be healed.
