MacBook Air 2018 release - Everything Apple needs to upgrade to please laptop fans ● Tech News #TECH - Duration: 2:23.
The MacBook Air was unveiled over a decade ago and in that period it has become extremely
popular with those looking for an affordable laptop with dependable power and all the benefits
of Apple's software.
The MacBook Air needs its internals replaced with up-to-date chipsets capable of giving
users a ton more power.
Intel is expected to release its newest processors, named Whiskey Lake, in a few months time.
Implementing the latest and greatest from the manufacturer would make the MacBook Air
incredibly capable and users purchasing the computer would have more confidence knowing
the computer is going to have enough power to cope with the growing demands put upon
it.
A recent report from the Economic Daily News iterated an upgrade for the MacBook Air was
in the pipeline.
However, the publication declared Apple is opting for Intel's current generation chips,
Kaby Lake, for the refresh.
Kaby Lake chipsets are available in i5 and i7 models.
They can reach speeds from 1.6GHz to 1.9GHz with Turbo Boost speeds rising to between
3.4GHz and 4.2GHz.
If Apple is deciding to forgo the next generation chips for Kaby Lake, it could suggest a MacBook
Air refresh is coming sooner rather than later.
The MacBook Air currently sports a 13.3-inch LED screen with a resolution of 1440x900.
While the display is functional for consuming content and browsing the web, it is in desperate
need of an update.
The super thin MacBook and top-end MacBook Pro have had what Apple dubs a "Retina" display
since 2012.
The Retina screen boasts a resolution of 2560x1600 that makes all content look incredibly crisp.
Such a feature also allows functions such as video and photo editing to be performed
to a greater level of detail.
Apple has also recently added True Tone technology to latest laptops which changes to the colour
of the display to match the lighting around you.
This makes using the machine for long periods much easier on the eyes.
The MacBook Air would greatly benefit from a brand new screen, especially when Apple's
other thin computer, the MacBook, features Retina technology.

PIZZA CHALLENGE: Best LA PIZZA Tour! 🍕 - Duration: 17:19.
Right this it's frozen pizza, it's the sort of stuff
We would have grown up with, but today I'm exploring the world of
Italian American style pizza across the east side of LA and I'm pretty sure we can do better than this!
My mission on this LA pizza crawl is to showcase
Just how much great pizza is on offer within this city! LA is where it's at
There is three really great places, which I think showcase LA's best pizza
And the first of which is called Cosa Buona in Echo Park around 15 minutes from where I live! Andiamo! (Let's go!)
First place- Cosa Buona! That doesn't say it at all but it says it right here
This is an American Italian style place
what I imagine American Italian stuff to be! Like smoky mozzarella sticks, eggplant parmesan and
controversially an
Hawaiian pizza - and I feel in the interest of trying and making sure that we get a full experience here
I should get the Hawaiian even though I'm a dead set against pineapple on pizza
But that I know will set it aside because this one actually looks quite good- it's got the pineapple, Canadian bacon, onion, chiles and smoked mozzarella
So you can't go too far wrong!
Okay, so we're going PIZZA! I want to say the pepperoni let's go pepperoni- it's a classic!
It used to be an old school pizza restaurant and a new chef has come in here and completely
Injected new life into this little corner of Echo Park! When it opens in the evening, there's a queue out the door!
Let's try some pizza!
What I'm most excited about this pizza is that crust!
Look how beautiful and doughy that looks!
I'm not seeing like scary chunks of pineapple like the sort of pineapple pizza
I would have grown up with would have been sort of chunks that came out of a can. I'm not seeing any major chunks
So I'm happy about that, I'm going to stop talking now and get into some eating
Ah man- that is so so
Good, it is all about that crust
I mean I've been here I've tried this crust and that's why I've come back! The marinara sauce is really good
it's subtle enough, but it tastes the
Tomatoes without overpowering with anything else. I haven't added any chili oil or any chilies here and you actually don't need them
It's full of flavor and there's good bit of spice from those pepperoni as well. It's pillowy
it's doughy- it's got that lovely chew
It's like the perfect kind of end and it's like the perfect kind of
Palate cleanser after all the other flavor from the pepperoni and the marinara sauce and that smoked mozzarella as well
This is an awesome slice of pizza!
This is the one I'm slightly nervous about and this is the Hawaiian pizza
I am NOT a Hawaiian pizza fan, but I feel like if you're going to put it on your menu
It's got to be good in a place like this. So I'm gonna grab off the piece that actually has a visible piece for pineapple
It's definitely like a heavier slice of pizza, but there's bacon is really nice and crispy
you got the red onion in there, and I'm not seeing like too much marinara sauce on this but
It's pretty good
What works here is that the pineapple is kind of gone a little bit caramelized but it's the
combination of that little bit of spice in there that hit of spice in
Contrast with the sweetness of the pineapple and then you've got the saltiness of the bacon and then that hit of red onion
It's really really good
This is a really great example of what a modern American Italian pizza is it's all about the dough. It's all about the ingredients
It's all about that combination of flavors and they have nailed it here
Nice to meet you! I'm Donal- do you mind like giving us just a quick line about it? First thing what sir Damon where'd you come from?
This restaurant came
From Zach Pollack who has another restaurant, Alimento- the idea was to do
Neapolitan pizza dough- he studied just traditional but with these throw back
American toppings! And that crust is what it's all about. Like yeah feels like somewhere between like the base feels somewhere between like
a classic Italian pizza
and this kind of crazy crust
It's tasty - I mean we make the ham here- we pickle the jalapenos
So we have this great balance of smoky sweet spicy
that's exactly what I was saying! Where are you going? We're going to triple beam and we're gonna go Casa Bianca!
Oh great
So you get a lot of different styles today the guys from triple beam are buddies three different styles and three that are all important
To this neighborhood. That's great - you're speaking my language. This is great. Okay. I'm off to eat more pizza. Nobody's gonna beat you. Thank you. So
Good. We got the inside track on what the pizza is all about!
And this is exactly why I wanted to hit up these exact three pizza places
They showcase what LA's pizza scene is all of it
Bye!
Next up is triple bean pizza. The guys are big fans. It's only recently opened
It literally opened about four months or five months ago. They serve pizza by the slice
So you go in and it's kind of like counter service and you choose what you want
They slice it up and you end up with a tray of beautiful pizza. We are here
This is what I'm talking about
This place is super popular right now and in the window right outside
So I'm hoping we can actually get in and get to see some pizza being made
So Triple Beam Pizza is like the raddest pizza- I was not a fan of pizza
Sorry! Until I started working here and now I'm obsessed with it! Super thin, super delicious
It's like a great cracker and then they just put all this awesome stuff
This is what's cool about this
It is places that like you can basically choose how much of a slice of pizza you want and they've whole host of different
toppings heirloom tomato summer squash
Roasted eggplant mushroom, which is sold out! Margarita, sausage pepperoni. Thank You
PIZZA! Thank you very much. We're going to eat
I
Don't think this happens in LA very often you don't see this pizza by the slice thing going on
This is kind of like Roman style pizza. There's a whole host of different
Ingredients on top we've got heirloom tomato. You've got beautiful zuchinni or courgette on top here
I
Love the fact that you can come in here and you can have a little bit of everything and that's what I've done every time
I've come to triple-team. It's literally I order every bit of pizza. There is on offer that thin crust. You've got the thick crust
It's a really great place to wear to try your favorite pizzas topping
Okay, I'm gonna stop talking and I'm gonna dive in here a good place to start is since it's seasonal and is some heirloom tomato
That is
Pizza like no other I mean it's a such a different style to what we've tried in Cacak wayna. It's crispy on the outside
There's a bit of chew in the in the center
But it's all about that kind of crackle and crunch as you bite into it
but as soon as you kind of delve in a bit deeper there is this like nice bit of chew in there you can see
That like there's beautiful olive oil going on in here. It's just really kind of moist we've got like a salami one
We've got eggplant or aubergine. We've got a pepperoni pizza and the one that I'm pretty excited about
Is this sausage meat one now?
You think of Italian
Pizza and it's that kind of like soft
Thin crust it's like kind of dripping under the weight in that like Naples style of the of the toppings. This is different
It's crunchy on the outside. Its got that chew of the dough and it's all about those flavors
It's it's basically the dough is the perfect vehicle for all these different things going on here
But to have it in LA to have it on my doorstep. That's what I get really excited about now
I do have to finish this off
But they did tell me that I'm gonna get an opportunity to go in and see how they make these big slices of pizza
So I've got some eating to do and then let's go in
So do you take you you cook them off first and then you add the topping I'd like three that's right
So that's what we do and then we send them to the topper and then they do all the okay
So they they do that all over and then I put it back again
Okay, so basically over here you've got the dough station they roll out the dough and
Market, it goes into the open. It bakes off and it gets all bubbly and golden gorgeous
And then these ones are basically ready to be topped and there's a whole like topping station over here
So you've got like the mozzarella, you've got a whole host of different ingredients ready to be tough
There's the fennel and a little bit of red onion for the sauce. Which one you got marinara?
This is this is really awesome. Okay, guys, this is Eli. He is the manager of triple teaming
You're gonna tell me a little bit about eggs with a bouquet of a race. Yeah, Matt Melina. I'm Nancy Silverton
They just always have this dream of opening up a Roman style
You know
This stuff is so cool it is this really cool. We need to talk about it. This is Cesare
And so he worked at roseola which was the place in Italy in
The whole time yeah
Please don't take a picture of me
But I was like for posterity we need it some people ask
Whether use like the founders who died like it's almost like a memorial like I have some little candles. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah
Those are the folks who got it started and gave us the spirit. Well, it's so cool seeing
More success to you right so much right. Thanks for coming in. Yeah, come check us out. Yeah, go check the babe
Okay, we've done cosa Buena beautiful doughy pizza
we've done triple bean pizza that crispy crunchy chewy thing going on and the next stop is
old-style
American Italian pizza at its core what you'd expect from one of those old mum and pop star restaurants
I'm already feeling a little bit full but let's go
This is Casa Bianca, and this is one of my favorite neighborhood Italian restaurants
When we first moved to Los Angeles, this was one of the first places we came to it was so cute. And so cool
there's like neon signs outside and it's got this whole like
1950s diner still thing going on. It's really cool and the menu like spans. It's not just pizza
it spans across all those American Italian classics like breaded mushrooms and mozzarella sticks and zucchini sticks and
garlic bread and all the things you kind of like
Most Italians may cringe over but they do it and they do it with passion and they don't care about what the Italian you think
Because they are Italian and this is Italian food to them only
Five o'clock in the evening right now and the place is already jam-packed
it's probably more people in this restaurant than any of the other pizza restaurants we've been in and there is like
Compassionate neighbourhood following here. So it's gotta be good
Good. How are you? Let's do a small of the effect on a small of the sausage pizza
Okay, we have got
the sausage pizza on this side
The eggplant aubergine pizza over here and I like the fact that they come in their own little pizza trays
You got your nice little slice coming in. You can serve it up. I'm gonna start off with the sausage pizza now
look
I'm gonna fess up
I have had this pizza a lot of time so I can I could not probably already beige for the fact that this is good
But I want to talk you through why this is good
It's like heavy on the cheese, it's full of that beautiful tomato sauce, but this one in particular has this sausage meat
Which is spiked with fennel and it is so flavorful. It's sweet
But it also has this kind of aniseed being running through this is olive a thin crispy crust
And there's not much kind of aeration going on here
But what is interesting is the bite of the slice because you have the crunch any of the crispness
We also have like like semolina or polenta on the base of it
So you get it all over your fingers and when you bite into it you get these from a little little pops of crunch
Here is such a
Good feature. Okay. I've tried the one I know but this is the one it has not a lot of write-ups
They've interestingly, you know
Like put the pattern and they've laid the egg plant or the aubergine slices
on top and then they've eat it with loads and loads of cheese, so
The beautiful thing about this is that we get a yeah, a rather fantastic cheese pull just like that
Take up one of these slices
Second bike I'm sorry
That's just a really fantastic piece
So you got that tomorrow so that you've got to choose you got the egg funders has got a really soft
What I love about the pizza here is that they use like dried oregano. Just
Sprinkle over the top. So you get this kind of like weird like dried herb taste going on here
So I get aromatics that aren't like fresh, but they're that kind of like musky sort of dried flavor
Really really fantastic Peter. My vote is probably the sausage pizza, but this is a close second
It's a fantastic demonstration of you know
How you can play with pizza and how you can treat take it from like classic Italian stuff to doing something a little bit different
Come together behind you come to Europe. This is where it's at. And this is ultimate comfort food
Just to give you a background net is mr. Pizza in Eagle Rock
My sister you and your sister we run it tell me a little bit about Casa Bianca because it is like it is a neighbourhood
classic my parents started in 1955 and
They passed on but we're maintaining the tradition
we're keeping all the recipes they came up with over the years and and
given to my parents by
His mother Frank was a food with the fantastic cook. And is it true?
I've heard rumor that President Obama used to eat here as a college student. That's what they say, right?
Eat over ever. Oh, this is 1980. He was a kid Nick, right? It's a good I would roll with it
It's fantastic and then tell me cuz obviously when you walk in here you were you've got so many celebrities off from the walls
Teri hatcher and who's the most famous person you've had in the in the restaurant Claire nice was filmed a movie here
No, I got to meet him Wow a legend
We moved here two or three years ago
And we we live in the neighborhood and it was the first place we came to eat
So it was a great start in tell a so it's a pleasure to sit down and meet you in person
Thank you so much for talking to us and that we've eaten all the pizza. So I'm a happy man. This is great
I got the real I got the Godfather pizzas
So I've just had a quick chat with Ned and we're kind of in the back
Alley over of what Casa Bianca is all about. And so we're in the key. You can see there. They're busy making a
busy busy kitchen, but it's
Basically, one of the most popular restaurants in Eagle Rock, so we're thrilled to get a bit of a Barney the scenes look. Thanks that
I'm a pizza to go. Thank you. Okay. See you guys. Thank you very much
Okay, it is safe to say
Our Pizza mission is complete three, very different American Italian pizza joints and three that I think kind of represents
What American Italian pizza is it's not just one thing
It's like it's people's
perceptions on how they've experienced pizza growing off and how they've translated that into something new and something fresh the things I've tried I feel
Showcase that it is worthwhile trying go seek out the best American Italian pizza in your neighborhood, and I'm sure you will not be disappointed
Job done mission complete what's next?

From Ranch to Market - Our Farmers Market Process - Duration: 11:28.
Hi I'm Mike, Every Saturday during the summer and into October, Erin and I both work hard
to get ourselves to farmers market.
Okay, she works a bit harder at it than I do, but I still help.
Today we head from the ranch to farmers market, on our Wyoming life.
Diversification is key to the ranch, without it we wouldn't be able to raise cattle and
without farmers market there would never be a YouTube channel called Our Wyoming Life.
You see, back at the very beginning.
The whole reason for us putting our very first video on YouTube was to serve one simple purpose.
I made one simple 4 and half minute video, to make Erin happy.
Back then, we knew that farmers market was key to the success of the ranch.
Cows are expensive, the profit margin can be very thin, and we originally hoped that
by putting a few videos on YouTube we could help improve farmers market sales by showing
our customers what goes into getting products to them.
From the gardens we could show how Erin chooses crops, grows and harvests them, and from the
ranch I could detail the extra work that we put in to bring locally raised beef and pork
to our community.
The first video we posted was all about feeding the cows and we were extremely lucky to find
that it wasn't just our local customers who wanted to know more about where their
food came from but people all across the world.
Of course, that didn't mean that our message changed, yea we modified it a bit.
But we still do exactly what we were doing when we started.
Going to farmers market.
Thanks for coming along today.
I'm just getting done in the field, quitting a little early for the day.
Farmers market is tomorrow and yes, even though farmers market is 90% Erins baby, we work
together every week to pull the whole thing together.
Along with the veggies Erin picks and washes from the gardens for farmers market every
week she also works in the kitchen all day Friday to bring a variety of baked goods as
well.
Even at market, we diversify, obviously not all vegetables are in season at the same time
and baked goods round out the most visible part of our farmers market booth along with
beef and pork.
Erin and I have been doing this long enough that we both have jobs that we take on.
Shes the brains in the operation, and sometimes I am more along the line of manual labor but
we all have our strengths and for me it's a fun change of pace.
There are also a few perks, like taste testing new products and well, that's the big one,
I'm sure there are more but that one sticks in my mind
So as baked goods cool, I get to one of my jobs and that is wrapping and packaging.
From Zucchini and Banana bread.
To coffee cake, to cinnamon rolls.
Everything gets packaged and labeled.
A new addition here recently, one that I personally approve of has been carrot cake.
So popular that each week this year Erin has been upping the amount she takes and its still
not enough, that we bring home any leftovers.
The curse of market, all the really good stuff sells and unless I fork over my 3 bucks early,
more fork isn't going anywhere near it now days.
All of our baked goods are packaged into totes for easy transport.
Then its out to Erins Farmers market truck, a 1998 GMC Panel truck that has been repurposed
after a few hundred miles and fitted with freezers to hold all of our cuts of meat that
we take to market.
This week, Erin made ice cream, so we load that up tonight also.
We are no where near ready to go to market, there is still lots to load, but getting started
Friday night gives us a little leg up and tomorrow morning we will hit it again early,
because not only is Saturday farmers market, it's a very special farmers market.
This week is national farmers market week and the market that Erin helps manage along
with Megan and Hannah was honored as being included as one of National Farmers Market
Coalitions 10 featured markets in the united states.
That's a big deal, at least it sounds like it and its cool to be a part of it.
Even if my part included packing around hundreds of pounds of vegetables.
First though, our baked goods go in the truck.
Then we head into the shop, where the peacock is waiting for us as he does every single
morning.
From there, its into the kitchen where the market fridge awaits.
Along with Kale, rainbow chard, kohlrabi, beets, potatoes, dill and who knows what else
and so much summer squash and zuchinni that I cant help but weigh it.
123 lbs worth.
Once the truck is loaded down with everything, including a generator to run the Ice cream
freezer we can close it up, raise the lift gate and hit the road.
Market starts at 8, so we leave the ranch about 6:30 to make sure we have plenty of
time to set up and a few minutes later we arrive at the Gillette Technical College parking
lot, where market takes place.
Market is really a team effort, I can see why Erin likes it so much.
Working on the ranch, you get used to being by yourself and getting things done but here
the definite message is that we help each other out.
As tents and tables start emerging from the truck, hands appear from everywhere to help
out and soon things are taking shape.
Here we divide and conquer as Erin starts setting up veggies and I take care of baked
goods.
Price tags are put out and soon the crowd is growing, waiting for market to beginning.
Vendors cant sell until 8am to make it fair and make sure everyone is set up but right
at 8am, the bell rings and its time to go to work.
Again.
After working all week on the ranch, with only cows and myself to talk to.
Its nice to get out and hang out with people out in the real world.
Each and every week we have our regular customers, but we also have new comers, travelers and
many other folks move through our booth.
Between you and me, I think Erin loves it when someone comes in and says that her carrot
cake is the best they have ever had or that her veggies are to die for, and good for her.
When it all comes down to it, she does a lot, to make sure that not only us, but tons of
other vendors have a place to sell their products, to advertise their business and diversify
their own business, and that's pretty special.
And when someone says they love the zucchini bread, or the rolls, or grandma betty's
cookies, I can say that I helped package them.
Time flies when you are busy and its not long until things begin to run out, beets go first,
then turnips then chard.
Broccoli is whittled down; most baked goods also fly out of the tent and when the market
ends at 12:30 the place is looking pretty bare.
Another great thing that Erin and her cohorts have set up at market is a share the harvest
program, where unsold produce can be sold to farmers market itself, and then farmers
market donates it to food programs.
Today Erin donates 5 lbs of potatoes, 23 lbs of squash and 3 lbs of kale.
All that is left.
Left over baked good head home with us and then its time to break things down and load
it all up.
Again, the help comes out in droves as vendors help each other take down tables, tents and
load everything back up to be used next week.
And just like that another week at market is over, the culmination of a weeks' worth
of work for Erin and a few hours of work for me but I can honestly say that weeks that
I do miss farmers market for one reason or another, I do really miss it.
Thanks for coming along with us today, the truck is home, its plugged back in and now
its back to work for me.
Those hay bales aren't going to make themselves.
I do really like farmers market, and getting a chance to talk to customers directly is
really amazing.
I also think that giving consumers of our products a chance to talk directly to the
person that grew that vegetable or raised that beef or pork is very important.
Erin can tell you every step of that zucchinis life, what she did and when she did it.
I can tell spout off facts about every piece of beef and pork we have in this truck, maybe
its not for everyone but personally I like knowing how, when and where my food was raised
or grown.
If I see an ingredient I cant pronounce, I get a little worried and I would love to know
why strawberry flavor just cant be made from strawberries and not a mess of chemicals.
Again, thanks for coming out with us today, please subscribe you would like to continue
on with us as we explore the ranch life and escape the ordinary, 3 times per week right
here on YouTube.
Check out our podcast available everywhere you find your favorite podcasts search for
beyond the ranch.
We will be back on Tuesday, as we take another shot at the project list and until then have
a great week and thanks for joining us in our Wyoming life.

Most MYSTERIOUS Abandoned Sea Vessels! - Duration: 11:15.
From "ghost ships" to a real yellow submarine, here are 8 of the most mysterious, abandoned
sea vessels.
8.
Carroll A. Deering Have you ever read the books "A Series Of
Unfortunate Events"?
If you have, you might see some similarities here...The Carroll A. Deering had a very odd
set of events happen to it before it was found abandoned on the shores of North Carolina
without a clue as to where the crew went.
The Deering was a commercial schooner.
It was known to transport coal, among other things, and had just dropped off a load of
coal in Rio De Janeiro.
On its way back though, things got weird.
First, during a routine stop in Barbados, something went wrong with the First Mate of
the ship.
He was arrested on the charge of making threats to the Captain.
It all got settled and the ship continued its course.
As it got close to North Carolina, someone on the ship contacted the Cape Lookout Lightship
with a warning that they had lost their anchors, which meant that if they made port, they'd
have no way to keep the ship from drifting.
But they continued their journey anyway.
Fast forward to when the ship was last seen, and it ran aground at Cape Hatteras.
But when people went to check on things, the crew and everything they owned was gone.
No trace of them on the ship.
Where did they all go?
Many have wondered, but there has never been a clear answer.
Some think it was pirates, or some other kinds of thieves, but those theories have left more
questions than answers.
A few people feel the Bermuda Triangle is to blame, since they were in Barbados which
is near it.
But, the Triangle ends near Florida, and North Carolina is much farther north than that.
Only the ocean knows what happened to this abandoned vessel.
7.
The Suicide Club Yeah, if this is your nickname, you know you're
screwed.
The time was World War I, and the British Navy was dealing with a small crisis in regards
to their submarines.
Submarines are important scouts and are a great element of surprise during wartime.
To give them a greater advantage, they needed to be faster so they could scout ahead of
a fleet, submerge and attack the enemy.
Enter the K-class submarine.
In order to make it faster, a naval architect decided to use steam to power the subs.
Steam engines in submarines are a terrible idea.
They were humongous and were fast, but they took forever to actually submerge and were
easily attacked by enemy ships.
They dove too fast and there were too many holes so there were gas leaks, explosions,
fires, etc. etc.
They even crashed into each other during battle!
The military refused to disclose what happened until certain crew members had died and couldn't
try and sue.
The kind of good news is that only 18 were ever made, 6 of which were sunk due to collision
accident.
K was for "Kalamity" and it was so bad that whoever was put on these submarines were
dubbed the "Suicide Club", because you most likely weren't coming back from the adventure.
It is interesting to note now though, that every nuclear powered submarine at sea today,
it a steamship.
Submarine technology has come a long way! 6.
High Aim 6 Here's a strange one for you.
The High Aim 6 was a Taiwanese ship that was found completely abandoned.
In 2003, the Australian Navy found the 80-foot vessel that was going full throttle.
The ship had plenty of fuel and supplies to keep the crew going.
There was also a hold full of valuable tuna that they had most likely gone out to fish
to bring back.
The clothes and documents were all in their place but where was the crew??
A massive rescue mission was launched to try and find the crew, but nothing came of it.
Everyone started calling it the Ghost Ship.
People who had been working with boats all their life said they had never seen anything
like it.
There were reports that the ship's engineer had made phone calls from his cellphone while
the crew were all in Bali but nothing came of it.
They left Indonesia and went fishing.
When the owner didn't hear from the captain again, he reported it to the coast guard.
What was going on?
Was there a mutiny?
If so, why were there valuables left on board?
There is a theory that the boat belonged to people smugglers or that they had been attacked
by pirates.
The radio was missing, but pirates would have taken the boat and the expensive tuna.
If they were murdered, where is the evidence?
Where are they?
Nobody will say and the mystery remains.
5.
The "Unsinkable" Joyita Many ships that have been built to be "unsinkable"
have proven to be just the opposite.
And I'm not talking about the Titanic, but the MV Joyita.
A ship with a much more mysterious history.
The MV Joyita disappeared from view in 1955.
The small ship had cargo and 25 people onboard.
It was sailing in the South Pacific when it simply vanished and everyone assumed it was
just lost at sea.
When it didn't arrive for its scheduled port date, people started to look for it.
Five weeks later, it was found just drifting.
It was clear that this wasn't a normal accident.
The crew and passengers were gone, but they weren't the only things missing.
Four tons of cargo on the ship were unaccounted for.
Furthermore, the radio on the ship was tuned to the emergency distress channel.
All lifeboats were all gone, and some windows were smashed.
Pirates?
A raid that ended in bloodshed?
Some said they had come upon some Japanese fishermen doing something they shouldn't
have been and so they attacked them.
What do you think happened?
Let us know in the comments below!!
4.
St. Patrick The Bering Sea is known as one of the most
treacherous waters in the world.
It's the setting of the show Deadliest Catch, where brave crab fisherman fight the fierce
winds, waves, and freezing oceans to get rich hunting for King Crab.
However, there are many tales of ships that have sunk in these waters, and one of the
most haunting tales was of the scallop vessel the St. Patrick.
The St. Patrick was on its way to its fishing grounds when a massive storm hit the ship.
While it started off as normal, the ship soon took a wave that crippled the vessel, taking
out the engine and its electrical systems.
Fearing the worst, the 12-man crew fled the vessel.
Unfortunately, the crew wasn't fully able to prepare for this, and only 9 of the 12
were able to get on their survival suits.
Even with the survival suits, not all of them made it.
After 24 hours of drifting in the water only two members of the crew were rescued by the
coast guard.
Why is this so haunting?
Well, when the two were rescued, they learned the hard truth...the St. Patrick was still
afloat.
Despite a massive storm with winds and waves that would've sunk most ships...this one stayed
upright.
Meaning, if they had just stayed on board, they would've had a terrifying experience...but
all the crew would most likely still be alive.
The story was so powerful that it was not only told on Deadliest Catch, but it was made
into a movie called Deadliest Sea.
3.
The Yellow Submarine I appreciate all the Beatles fans who get
that reference!
And there was in fact a real yellow submarine.
If you go to Coney Island, and take a look at its creek, you'll notice that there's a
lone submarine sticking out of the water.
The whole creek is a ship graveyard full of burned and rotting ribs of old ships.
But the yellow submarine is the only sub there.
People have long wondered what it's doing there, and why it's in the creek.
Well, it's a tale of intrigue, lost treasure, and a man who went a little too cheap in an
attempt to get rich.
In 1956 there was a ship called the Andrea Doria, which was a well-known cruise liner.
A lot of rich people were happy to take the ship on various journeys or to just get away.
Sadly though, the ship sank one day, taking the lives of nearly 50 people.
But, what also went down with the ship were a lot of "artifacts" that could make you rich!!
The only catch was...you had to go get it yourself.
If you get it, you keep it.
Enter Jerry Bianco, a shipyard worker who wanted to go after the Andrea Doria.
It took him four years of work, but he eventually built his own submarine out of scrap metal.
And yes, it was yellow...but not because of the Beatles song, but because the paint was
cheap.
He called it the Quester I.
Speaking of cheap, to get a good deal on getting the sub into the water, Bianco made sure that
every piece of non-vital weight was stripped from the ship.
Which meant it had to go a certain way into the water, but it tipped sideways and got
stuck in the muck.
He was unable to raise enough money to recover it and Mr. Bianco had to give up his dream
of looking for treasure.
His buried submarine a sad reminder of what could have been.
2.
The "Pearl" Of Submarines When you think of submarines, you often think
of them as a military instrument, especially in WWII and the Cold War, but it might surprise
you to learn that submarines were actually used long before that for non-military expeditions.
And one was lost to history for nearly for 150 years.
In Panama, there were stories about a beached submarine that appear during low tide.
An archaeologist named Jim Delgado was in the area and knew the story, and decided to
look into it.
When he found it, he noticed the sub was American.
So how did it get to Panama?
Researching the answer took years, but eventually, he found it in the New York Times!
From 1886!
This submarine was made in the 19th century, and it was actually one of the first successful
submarines to be able to fully go underwater.
A process that took quite a long time to perfect.
The craft was made by Julius Kroehl, a German-American who made the ship to do one thing...mine for
pearls.
Didn't see that one coming, did you?
The ironic thing was that it was quite successful at its job, to the extent that it once harvested
ten TONS worth of pearls in one trip, bringing in over $2,000.
Which back then was a fortune.
Because this was one of the earliest submarines, some of the side effects of going so deep
underwater weren't known, and many of the crew who went on these expeditions got decompression
sickness, include Kroehl himself.
Many of them died.
Deeming it too dangerous to use, Panama decommissioned the craft and left it in the water.
1.
Mary Celeste The Mary Celeste was a ship from 1872 that
was abandoned in the Atlantic Ocean.
The ship was actually a merchant ship of all things, so it being abandoned is a bit odd.
But when you dive deeper, it gets even weirder.
The ship was on its way to the Azores along with 7 crewmembers, the Captain, and his family.
A British ship called Dei Gratia found the Mary Celeste floating in the choppy seas and
went to investigate.
The ship was completely abandoned, but why?
There was nothing wrong with it, and no evidence of foul play.
Everyone's belongings were still intact, and the cargo of 1701 barrels of industrial
alcohol was all there.
What's more, there was apparently six months worth of provisions on board, so there's no
way that it was starvation or lack of supplies that caused everyone to flee...So...why did
they?
The crew of Dei Gratia was also investigated in case they had something to do with it but
there was no evidence.
In 1884 Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote a short story claiming that an ex-slave was seeking
vengeance and had murdered everyone.
Everyone was wondering what happened to the ghost ship and the family onboard.
The documentary "The True Story of the Mary Celeste" was also unable to offer a definite
conclusion.
The ship went on to have several different owners.
The last captain ran it aground in Haiti to try to claim insurance on it.
He was accused of fraud.

Goku's Mistake Awakens The Saiyans Forbidden Source of Power?! New dragon ball super Broly Movie - Duration: 11:12.
Those white eyes.
There was no reason for him to tell Goku what it was,
because when Broly let go, there was no need for words.
All he had to do was show it.
Goku is a person who doesn't get shocked easily.
In their first clash, when Goku started out so confident, he never thought he'd later
be caught like this.
It was clear, Goku had just uncovered Broly's ancient
source of power.
Goku!
There shouldn't be a problem…
You've fought against this same power before!
Don't be scared of it now!
When you first saw it, you were so focused on who was supposed to be the strongest fighter.
And then you let Kale come at you with a force you couldn't handle!
You never think these fighting situations through!
Open your eyes to the difference in your own ability!
You're knowledge of battle and the amount of power you're able to use aren't what
they used to be!
Everything improved during the Tournament of Power!
You don't have to rely on Ultra Instinct!
This girl was unleashing that destructive power all over again!
With one scream, the table's were turning on Goku!
Now, he was gonna have to hold off two rapidly learning Saiyans!
They couldn't believe it!
They were up against just one severely weakened fighter!
Now they were the ones about to meet their eliminations and the ultimate loss of erasure!
You're strength had already grown.
Goku!
Don't you see it?
You're improvement is right there!
You hadn't made it back to Super Saiyan Blue again!
Yet, weren't you fighting double the power this time?
You were increasing in your own forms!
But now...
What was Goku backing away from?
Didn't he recognize the resemblance between this form and Kale's?
Or the berserker power wasn't all Broly was hiding in his version of the legendary
form.
Seems Whis was right.
As if he was talking about anything other than Ultra Instinct.
But there is an absent message.
In the end, there are various traits that give a being this divine power, aren't there?
Goku was overwhelmed.
The technique Whis had quietly led him to…
He now questioned if there was more to learn behind those lessons…
What you're finding, Goku,
As much as you've experienced of divine power,
You can't deny there wasn't more to master.
You reached their power so quickly, but weren't the gods only amazed because you were a mortal?
That's why you'll have to uncover Broly's power through the unknown trainings that truly
brought you to Ultra Instinct.
Goku really thought he had it…
That he wouldn't need them anymore...
Those teachings Whis had described.
You can do it, Goku!
Don't hide from the disaster that's heading for you.
You have the skills to prevent Hit's job!
He'd left Beerus' planet, but Goku took Whis' lesson with him.
Training his base form wasn't over just yet!
He was a fighter determined to secretly save his own life.
Goku would find his potential eliminator before there was ever a chance to be defeated.
But he failed in such a miserable way.
How could he win against Hit with this distraction putting a stop to his crucial training?
What did Goku think he was doing?
Who did he think he was dodging from Bulma's fist like that?
But it did sound like he was telling the truth.
He didn't mean to!
It's not like he had ever been able to dodge without doing it on purpose.
But...yes he had.
Thinking about it, he had never let Bulma's swing miss before...so why do it now?
It felt a little too similar.
The way his body just moved on it's own like that.
Goku wondered if this was the same as his other past mistake…
Was it related to the power Broly had him struggling against now?
It was the only thing he could do to survive the unknown attack.
Even Beerus was impressed by Goku's early instinct!
He hadn't told himself to move out of the way, had he?
Did he even know he was in grave danger?
Goku was finally understanding the true meaning in those words Whis had for the Oracle Fish!
Unlike his first battle with Beerus, he no longer needed a Super Saiyan form for his
mind to take the control.
He was unlocking a hint of the power Broly would soon have waiting for him.
Would Goku be ready to match it?
Broly!
He's too much to handle…
This legendary form can't be the same power they've faced before.
Goku, pull it together!
You're so fixated on Broly's overwhelming challenge that you can't think straight.
That's an easy way to give him a quick win!
All you have to do is remember!
His base form is way stronger than the highest form Kale used against you.
The answer to defeating Broly won't be the same as it was with her.
You'll have to find the key buried in the link between their powers and your own.
This was the worst possible scenario they could've hoped for.
In a matter of only minutes, their strongest warrior had been nothing short of evaporated!
Goku had left his team in what was now a concrete loss, waiting around to be erased.
This was beyond unbelievable!
This couldn't be the same Goku!
All of a sudden, he was keeping up and even landing hits on the fighter heard of in the
rumors!
That look on your face…
Whis…
What are you thinking?
You're confusion makes no sense!
Haven't you seen Ultra Instinct before?
Even you're father, the Grand Priest, doesn't seem to recognize Goku's new power!
What are they puzzled by?
The angels should know better than anyone what this technique looks like.
Was it wrong to think that was the only divine power out there?
It's not like Ultra Instinct is a required skill in order to become a God of Destruction.
But that way of thinking is never considered.
So, it must mean, Broly's isn't showing traits of just some normal Super Saiyan form,
is he?
But Goku's still unsure…
The signs of divine power coming from Broly…
He's starting to learn what Whis had really meant in that curious conversation…
You see, Goku?
The more you observe your own divine experiences, the more you can find the key to defeating
Broly's strange form.
Those white eyes…
There wasn't really a buried power for Goku to find,
Because, in the end, he had already seen this before.
He just had to realize it.
Divine power is something that can come in all shapes...and forms.
True, Goku had experienced a level of it himself, yet clearly, so had Kale.
But the berserker power and the godly technique were not one in the same.
The link connecting these 3 fighters is found in the next video, #ANIFAM.

How to install presets to Lightroom Mobile (IPHONE) - Duration: 2:50.
Sometimes it's hard to find the time to edit your photos on your desktop computer, especially
while traveling.
Or maybe, you don't even have a desktop computer.
Using Lightroom Mobile presets is the perfect solution to edit professional looking photos,
while on the go, straight from your phone.
What's up YouTube?
I'm Oliver Sjöström, and today I'm going to show you how to install presets to Lightroom
Mobile, if you are using an Iphone.
I've also made a video for Android users, that you can check out here, or in the description
of this video.
I also suggest that you watch until the end of this video, where I'll be giving you guys
a free preset, that you can download and use, to edit your photos.
All right.
So, start off by grabbing your phone, and going to the description of this video.
There you will find the link to a free preset, that I have created for demonstration purposes,
of this video.
Here you can see a couple of photos that I have used to edit with this preset, and it's
definitely one of my favorite presets, from my Greece preset pack.
Just scroll all the way down, where you will find the free download link.
Press that, and you will be taken to the checkout page.
There, just fill in your email address and skip the credit card part, as this preset
is completely free, then put in some additional information about your name and where you're
from, and press continue, and then, purchase.
From there you will be taken to the order summary, where you will have the preset available
for download, but before you click download, you need to install and app, which will allow
you to open up the file as this comes in a zip format.
An Iphone does not support this file type, so let's go to the app store and get the app.
And this app is also free to download, just type in Izip, and it will be the second option.
Let it install, and then go back to your web browser.
We are now ready to download the preset.
Once it is downloaded, click "open in", and choose the Izip app.
There, just let the program do its work, and you will have the preset folder unzipped.
Once that is done, click the folder, and go to the .dng file, which is the mobile preset,
and choose "open in" Lightroom Mobile.
Once we are I Lightroom Mobile, the next step is to click the three dots in the top right
hand corner, and then choose "create preset", in the bottom left.
Then click "user presets", and create a new preset group.
Give the preset group a name, and then also name the preset.
Once that is done, click "save", and your preset has been installed.
Let's apply the preset by choosing an image, and going to the far right hand corner of
your editing tools, and choosing the preset module.
Choose your preset group, and there you will find your newly installed preset, that you
can apply to your images.
And, boom!
There you have a professional looking photo, edited straight from Lightroom Mobile.
That's it for this video.
I hope that you found it helpful.
If you did, make sure to give it a like, subscribe for more content related to photography and
filmmaking.
Also, you'll get your free preset, link in description, and remember, go follow me on
Instagram, where I give away free presets packs, every week.
That's it guys.
I'll see you in the next one.
Peace!

MECHA KNIGHT: INVINCIBLE? - Duration: 4:29.
Hey guys and welcome to another Fraga spotlight!
Today, we are going to take a look at...
Mecha Knight! It's another huge favourite of mine,
I really like to play this character in all my teams.
It's a really solid pick because he's a really solid guy.
You're not going to get rid of him that easily.
Despite that, I don't see a lot of other players using him.
What's up with that? Why don't you guys pick this awesome character?
He has a shield, he has a lot of damage, he has a SHIELD.
You guys should really play him, and I'm going to show you exactly why today.
Mecha Knight is a robotic sentry built to protect celebrities, built by MedievalTech.
Thanks to its very advanced photon shield and powerful AI,
he makes an ideal competitor in the FRAG championship.
Looking at his stats, you can see that he has a lot of HP and rather good damage.
But his weakness comes in the form of his slow movement speed.
Mecha Knight's main weapon is a very powerful railgun
that can be used to pick enemies from afar thanks to its great range.
This means that you will always be able to engage the enemy before they can get to you
which is very useful in defense and offense alike.
You also do a lot of damage to enemy characters if you can aim well,
but you will do even more damage on headshots.
You should be able to kill enemy characters in two or three hits
before they can even see you doing so!
Very important on any character.
This being said, this weapon also has a couple of weaknesses:
the slow fire rate is one of them.
The huge recoil and reload animation is another.
Always make your shots count!
You don't want to be in a situation where you can't kill an enemy...
... because you're out of ammo.
Mecha Knight's unique ability is his powerful photon shield,
which you can deploy in front of you to protect yourself from damage.
It also protects your teammates, which means it can be used in many useful ways:
to protect yourself in order to win a duel,
or to protect your teammates to make sure they don't get shot!
The possibilities are endless.
You can even drop it behind you in order to attack enemy targets
before the enemy even realizes you're there!
However, this shield has a limited amount of life
so always pay attention to make sure your shield doesn't get destroyed
while you are doing something else.
In a fight, you will want to control battles from as far as possible,
using your range to destroy enemies before they can get to you.
But that doesn't mean you're helpless in close combat either,
make sure to aim for the head, and you will get rid of anyone foolish enough to fight you.
Keep in mind that your shield is your best friend,
and that you will need it to win most fights against close range characters.
Last but not least, you need to remember:
you are a tank, you need to be a defensive wall for your team.
Try to stick around your teammates.
Order them to attack with you for instance,
and use your shield to protect them while you dish out damage.
Focus on enemy characters moreso than anything,
since you will not be able to destroy targets as quickly as other characters.
But if you rack up kills, thanks to your gigantic and powerful weapon,
you will win the game before other characters get the chance to do anything to you.
Well guys, I hope you could all see why Mecha Knight is such an awesome character
and I hope you all understood all the strategies you can do with him,
especially considering his awesome shield.
I'll see you guys next time with another Fragger spotlight.
In the meantime, make sure to like and subscribe if you have not already,

A Boa Filha - Karin Slaughter #8 - Duration: 4:54.
Hello, my name is Lynn Manique and this is Lynnteratura.
Today we are going to talk about The Good Daughter, by Karin Slaughter.
For those who follow lots of channels on booktube, Brazilians or internationals
must have heard about this book
or this author. For those who don't know,
there's a book subscription box called Tag,
where you pay monthly to receive a surprise book at home.
The first book from their new box, called Tag Inéditos,
which brings books that have not being published in Brazil yet,
was this Karin Slaughter's book. But it'll be also published by HarperCollins
with this cover,
by the end of this month. I'll leave the link down below for those
who want to by it on pre sale. And it also helps the channel.
This is a mystery book, a thriller,
which it's going to keep you hooked.
It's a page turner book, you cannot stop reading
without knowing what's next. If you've seen some reviews from this book,
you probably heard everyone commenting on the first chapter.
The first chapter is so engaging,
it's the type of chapter in which you remember where you were
while reading it. I decided to listen to the audiobook
during the evening, while raining and in the dark!
And I was so tense. I woke up with a sore neck and all that.
It is a chapter that hooks you and
you immediately relate to these characters,
you connect with them. So it's about two sisters,
and during their teenage years, they were
attacked at their own home. With their mother. Because of their father.
The father is a lawyer from a small town,
and he's known to be the criminals' attorney.
He defends the rapists, the thieves,
and most of the time they walk free.
Even though they committed crimes and terrible acts.
Because this lawyer is very good.
Lots of the town's people see him as a bad person.
They threat him, they even
do bad things to him.
In the beginning of the book, they are living in a temporary home,
because their house was set on fire.
So these people are even worse than him. The two daughters and the mother
are at home, the father is at his office,
and two men arrive with ski masks on, asking for their father.
The situation gets out of hand,
it gets pretty messy.
The mother ends up being murdered.
And one of the daughters is shot in the head, it's believed she's dead but she's not.
After some years, they are grown ups,
both of them laywers. One of the daughters, the one
who could escape the attack, works with her father at his office.
Not exactly with the same kind of clients, even though everybody thinks the opposite.
And the other daughter, the one who's shot, moves to NYC,
and becomes this bad ass lawyer.
It's almost a partner at the law firm she's working for, very rich and so on.
They lost touch over the years.
And the daughter who still lives in the city,
ends up one day at her former high school.
I'm not gonna say why she's there. And ends up being in
the middle of a school shooting. A teenage girl
takes a gun to school
and kill the school's headmaster and a 8 y.o. girl.
This daughter sees everything,
the police violence towards the situation.
And decides to defend the shooter. She thinks there's something wrong with it all.
She's going to defend the girl with her father's help. Some circumstances
lead to her calling her older sister from NYC.
This book talks about both the shooting plot
and the past attack's repercussions.
How the city folks treat them, what happened to the attackers,
and so on. It's a book that has a bunch of plot twists.
Only by the end you'll find out what really
happened at the school shooting, and what really happened
at the attack. And it's pretty graphic. Pretty violent.
So if you don't have the stomach for it, maybe this book will bother you.
But keep in mind that everything that happens in the story
it's not gratuitous. The author wants you to fill
the characters' shoes for the purpose of you
living that situation and care for them. Not to please whoever likes violent content.
So, Karin Slaughter has this duality in her work, some people don't
like her because they think it's very violent, some people like her work
because they see her goal. I heard that other books by her have
graphic scenes with no purpose
so maybe we should read more things from her to judge.
But I strongly recommend this book, for those who want a book that you
cannot stop reading. A book whose reading is gonna fly by.
It is around 400 pages long.
And it is intriguing from beginning
to end. So enjoy the fact that it will be released soon.
Not only for the TAG subscribers.
And buy it soon, because it's pretty good.
If you like that kind of plot, you're gonna love it.
If you've read it, leave a comment down below telling us about it. Like our video!
