Street Safe Ep. 07 - Cab Drivers and U - Duration: 2:04.

Welcome back, welcome back!

Here's the situation:

A cyclist (me) is cruising down the road in a bike lane when… here comes the cab.

A taxi driver u-turns to pick up a fare.

This U-turn was legal.

The driver waited for the traffic on their side of the road to stop and I had enough

space to safely come to a stop as well.

That doesn't change the fact that everyone here knows what the driver did was wrong.

I'll turn up the audio a bit.

While I appreciate the apology, this pedestrian should have known a cab driver traveling the

opposite direction would U-turn.

But maybe this person had higher expectations.

Maybe they thought the driver would follow what the the MTO Driver's Handbook says

"To make a U-turn, signal for a right turn, check your mirror and over your shoulder and

pull over to the right side of the road.

Stop.

Signal a left turn and when traffic is clear in both directions, move forward and turn

quickly and sharply into the opposite lane.

Check for traffic as you turn."

The cab driver did very little of this but there was no collision so there were no clear

violations of the Highway Traffic Act.

However, what should have happened here is that the pedestrian should have waited to

hail a cab traveling on their side of the road.

If you hail a cab five lanes over and traveling the opposite direction in heavy traffic they'll

still come to you.

You can expect them to do that.

Remember to like, subscribe and share with that friend that doesn't understand the

consequences of their actions.

And if you've got something you'd like me to cover or just to point out why I'm

wrong.

Get at me.

One Dev Question with Aaron Gustafson - Do I need to build a single page app before I build a PWA? - Duration: 1:43.

Do I need to build a single-page app before I can build a PWA?

No.

Seriously, though,

a PWA can be whatever it is that you want to make it.

So the first PWA that I built

was actually the HTML version

of the book that I wrote back in 2011 long before PWAs existed.

And it's static HTML

that I generated from the ePub version of that,

put it on the web, added a service worker,

added a web app manifest

and I had a PWA that was installable.

So, the reality is that you don't need to

invest in building a single-page app

and in fact, there may be certain instances

where you don't want to build a single-page app

and turn it into a PWA, because...

..things like URLs are very helpful for users

to be able to access certain bits of content,

certain bits of functionality and such.

So the URL scheme is something

that we really want to ensure that people can take advantage of

when they're using a website,

web app, whatever you want to call it.

Web product might be a bit more general term for it.

But you don't need to have a single-page app,

but if you do have a single-page app, I highly recommend

making sure that you are using a URL structure

that you are responding to URL requests

and not always redirecting somebody to the home page

when a URL that you recognize

or you should recognize comes in.

As long as you do that, you'll be building a great web experience

regardless of whether people have it as an installed PWA

or viewing in their browser or even are on an older browser

that doesn't support service workers and other things like that.

Kellyanne Conway Pretends She's "Anonymous Source" While Bashing Her Husband To Reporter - Duration: 4:35.

There is a great new kind of exploratory piece, I should call it, in the Washington Post that

really takes a good look at the marriage between Kellyanne Conway and her husband, George.

For those of you who haven't been paying attention along at home, George Conway is a huge Donald

Trump critic.

He is now, he used to love Donald Trump.

He wept on election night, and he freely admits that because he was so happy that Trump won.

Well, now he hates Trump, and he tweets about it constantly.

He attacks him on Twitter.

He fact checks him.

He refutes his more dubious legal claims on Twitter, it's quite fun to watch actually

if you have a little bit of time.

So obviously, Kellyanne Conway, being Donald Trump's biggest lying supporter, married to

a guy who spends his days trolling Donald Trump on Twitter, surely there's going to

be some friction in that relationship and according to this new Washington Post piece

there absolutely is.

Reporter Ben Terrace actually spent time with the Conway's in their home, went hiking with

them to kind of really get the story, get to know these people and try to present them

as, "Hey, they're just like every couple out there that argues about things, and they laugh

about things, and aren't they just decent people overall?"

For the most part the entire article is not worth your time whatsoever so don't bother

reading it.

We all knew they were going to have some issues and butt heads quite a bit because he hates

Trump, and she loves Trump but there is something buried in that article that is probably one

of the most important things that we have learned about this Administration in months,

and I'm going to read it to you.

The reporter says, "You told me you found George's tweets disrespectful."

Kellyanne responds, "It is disrespectful.

It's a violation of basic decency, certainly, if not marital vows ... as a person familiar

with the relationship."

No, we're on the record here.

You can't say after the fact, "as someone familiar".

Kellyanne then says, "I told you everything about his tweets is off the record."

Reporter says, "No, that's not true.

That never happened."

Kellyanne: "Well people do see it this way.

People do see it that way.

I don't say I do, but people see it that way."

In the middle of an interview, now this actually took place a few days after Terrace had met

with them and was already working on the piece Kellyanne ... they had a phone conversation

to follow-up here or maybe it was in person, I don't know, but they had this conversation.

She's trashing her husband for his tweets and tries to tell the reporter at that point

to list it as somebody else saying that.

As "someone familiar with their relationship" told me, rather than "As Kellyanne Conway

said."

I dare say that this entire article buried the lead because that was it.

Kellyanne Conway is sitting there talking to the reporter but because she doesn't want

her own husband to know that she's trashing him in the Washington Post, she wanted the

reporter to just list her instead as "someone familiar with their relationship".

How many times have we read articles that we see Donald Trump get pissed about, we see

his supporters comment on our videos when we talk about him, that lists the source as

"someone close to Trump, someone familiar with the Administration, as a senior anonymous

staffer"?

Those little phrases pop up in stories every single day.

So I ask you this, how likely is it that some of those are Kellyanne Conway?

After all, we have proof right here that she attempted to be listed as an anonymous source

in this article about her and her husband.

So if she is willing to trash her husband or lay out all the dirt about him and her

marriage but wants to be listed as an anonymous source, don't you think it's a little likely

that she would do the same thing to her boss that she allegedly loves just like she allegedly

loves her husband because I sure as hell do.

And from this point forward I'm going to look at any article that lists an anonymous Trump

staffer or someone close to Trump ... I'm going to look at it as if it is coming from

Kellyanne Conway because what she did in this interview here is not something that she just

thought of at the spur of the moment.

She knows what she's doing and this sounds like the actions of a woman who had done this

plenty of times in the past.

Xochimilco - Fiesta on the Canals of Mexico City! - Duration: 4:30.

taking a bicycle taxi

Can he avoid the potholes?

He has no brakes on this thing, so yeah, it's like a death cab.

Why is the ceiling so low

Hey everybody and welcome to Xochimilco. It's in the southeast portion of Mexico City. It's right on the outskirts

I'm here for a truly Mexico City experience. Xochimilco has been around since the Aztec times

It used to be part of a giant lake

It's part of a whole canal system that uses a system of boats to navigate it. Now, this system predates the hispanic rule

It's still around and now it's a world heritage site that Mexicans and foreigners alike can enjoy and relax

This is truly a one-of-a-kind thing to do here in Mexico City. I'm really excited about it. Let's do the thing

As you can see the boats are very colorful. that's how they like to do things around here

Lots of color and lots of flowers too.

So I'm in a group of 12 people. I only know one and

She's the only other one that can speak English. So yeah, truly local experience right here

They came prepared

*Mariachi music playing*

Hey guys, this is my friend, Miriam. She invited me out today

She's also my bodyguard here in Mexico City, but she's not very good at that job.

We're being tailgated

It's kind of a madhouse here on the weekend.

So many people. a lot of boats. It's really really crowded and not as relaxing as I thought it'd be

Just loud

Kind of like a Fiesta on the river

You know, this one's gonna sink because it says Rose and Jack.

that one is doomed

Got some corn. This stuff is delicious

I have to try some street food while I'm here. the stuff looks really delicious

That is a big quesadilla

That's the biggest quesadilla I've ever seen

oh boy

gonna steal my food?

Yes, look at all that quesadilla goodness

The salsas are the secret

Really this experience is only

going up and down the canals and

Hanging out with your friends

It's kind of a must do if you're in a group here in Mexico City

I keep ideals when destiny calls

P-P-PLUS ULTRA!

I can no longer open these wings

Flowers of regret bloom everywhere

One by one each seed I've sown within myself

Bears a fruit of screams of pain

Within these unfixiable day-to-day events

Now the crucible of possibilities opens, oh

Dreaming, going against my intentions

The square sky's unable to fill the gaps in my heart

A rampage of emotions arrive

I no longer wanna run away, break apart the days of lies

I keep my ideals with each and every life

Every regret, each time I sowed a seed

It becomes an invincible shield

Last few days were very

very intense.

Long journey, two South Americas capitals

a bit of tourism:

some churces, few museums,

montains, equator, volcanos.

And we all enjoy it

while that's why we are here.

But when travelling with kids

you need to remember to

give them some time

so they can use it for their own

and enjoy it in a kids way.

And nothing gives more pleasure

than a local playground.

And that's how a local playground looks like

in Quito - capital of Ecuador.

So remember, that when travelling with kids

give them time to swing,

slide ora play in mud.

Give them thier own time,

so that they're happy

because that's what family travelling 24 00:00:48,069 --> 00:00:49,344 is all about:

that both parents and kids 26 00:00:52,274 --> 00:00:55,295 share great memories.

To Love-Ru Darkness True Princess (PS Vita) - Walking Home Together (English Subtitled) - Duration: 7:49.

...Huh?

Kotegawa?

What are you doing here?

...

Sh-She's looking scary.

Did I do something to make her mad again...?

W-What do I do...?

What should I say...?

Top: Are you waiting for someone? Bottom: Wanna go home together?

W-Wanna go home together?

Wait, what am I saying!?

What am I going to do if she's waiting for someone?

S-Sure...

Fine by me...

Let's go home together...

...

Hm?

Is something the matter?

I-I didn't expect you to offer, that's all...

R-Really...?

For some reason I'm getting kind of excited...

I wonder why...

Going home with you like this is starting to become the usual thing, Kotegawa.

Eh!?

Ah, umm...

I-I guess you're right.

I mean, I did promise to do this until your memory came back...

Ah...

I-It's not like I'm forcing myself to do this, okay!?

In fact, if anything...

Yeah, you're always helping me out.

Thanks, Kotegawa.

Uh...

Y-You're welcome...

That's right.

She's only here to help me get my memory back...

Huh?

Am I...feeling down?

What kind of feeling is this...?

It feels like it's raining...

...!

Wait, it actually is raining!

Jeez!

Rain from out of nowhere again!?

This is really some rain...!

Kotegawa!

This way!

Eh...?

Y-Yeah!

Alright, looks like we can cover ourselves from the rain here.

It's an evening shower, so I think it'll stop soon but...

Y-Yeah maybe...

...We held hands.

It's not like this is the first time...

But my heart's beating really fast...

Ah, right.

Kotgeawa, take my handkerchief for now...

...!

H-Her uniform's wet...

...?

What?

N-Nothing!

For now use my handkerchief!

It'd be bad news if you caught a cold!

A-And give my eyes a break...!

...Ah.

...?

What's wrong?

...I was thinking of how this takes me back.

You might not remember, but we took shelter from the rain here before.

And you gave me a handkerchief then too...

It made me pretty happy.

Ahaha...

I guess even with amnesia I haven't changed.

...You're right about that.

That shameless part of you hasn't changed at all.

Uh...

I'm telling you, I'm not doing it on purpose...

But...

The parts of you that are serious, honest, and nice haven't changed either.

You rescued a cat from a tree...

You looked for Run-san's pet, and you let me stay at your place when it rained...

Ordinarily you aren't reliable, but when you're needed the most you always help out.

That's the kind of person you are...

...Kotegawa.

She's been watching me all this time, hasn't she...?

I've been nothing but trouble for her, but she's helped me in trying to get my memory back more times than I can count.

Now that I think about it...

I feel like I'm getting to see a lot of what she's like too.

The cold look she gives when she's doing her job as a public morals committee member...

And the expression she makes when she plays with cats...

Hey...

Yuuki-kun.

...Eh!?

W-What is it!?

Thanks for lending me the handkerchief.

I'll make sure to wash it and give it back tomorrow...

Y-You don't have to go that far!

It's not like it'll bother me...

...Yuuki-kun.

Um...

You know, I...

Heh...?

...I-I...

I think that I might...

I think that I might be in...

K-Kotegawa...?

...Ah.

...Ah.

The rain stopped.

...Yeah.

...H-Hey, listen!

Kotegawa...

Let's head home.

Eh...?

We can't let ourselves get sick...

So let's hurry up and go home.

Y-Yeah...

You're right.

...Well then...

I'll see you tomorrow, okay...?

Yeah.

See you tomorrow.

...What was she trying to telling me at the end?

Tutorial: Using masks (Photoshop, Illustrator i Indesign) - Duration: 16:53.

Quality of this tutorial will be high... [HIGH QUALITY]

I think this is pretty easy. [EASY, EASY, EASY]

Simply, drag and drop new object, and voila!

Kochopuszek making tutorials

Hi!

It's Kochopuszek here.

I come back to you with new idea.

I want, beside talk with my speedpaintings,

to do series of short tutorials,

which are going to be focusing on specific thing in adobe software.

In todays tutorial, I want to talk about masks. [MASKS]

It's a feature which you can find in Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign.

We can also find it in software for animation and film editing.

But today, let's focus only on software for 2D graphic.

So, what can we do with this mask in Photoshop?

Let's say we draw [DRAW, DRAW]

a girl [DRAW, DRAW]

and we have her beautiful hair

We drawn her beautiful shape of her hair.

Quality of this tutorial will be high...

And we want

to color her hair, what can we do?

We make a new layer

click right mouse button

and click make clipping mask

As you can see

is small arrow directed toward layer below.

We can do it also by clicking ALT button [ALT]

yes

OK

We will choose defferent color to see what's going on.

and we are coloring

When we want to go beyond this line

we can't see it

What gonna happen if we relise this mask?

right mouse button, and click

We can see that we went beyond the lines.

So clipping mask doesn't restrains us

to go outside the lines.

I don't draw only in specific area

but it's seen only in this area (of clipping mask)

How can we do

a mask which doesn't allow us to draw outside the specific area?

We can use

one of the blocking options, the one with squares on it.

As active we can see that on this layer is a lock,

which blocks the layer.

We can draw in different color like this

like this...

some other color

it doesn't really metter

Now we can check

when we unlock it, what will happen

We drawn only on the area, which we had drawn before and locked.

I showed you already two masks options

which are: clipping mask

clipping mask

it helps with a lot of things

for example in drawing

It helps with drawing, not only hair, but skin, eyes, etc.

second one: with the square icon here

thanks to that we can draw

on specific area only

We decided that we want to do nice font [this joke doesn't work in english]

we write something

make it bigger...

I want it to be

maybe bold font...

We want to put picture on that text.

We can do it by clipping mask.

We click make clipping mask

that way we can do floral Kochopuszek

We have some flowers and we want to remove the background.

we use

this mask, which can be found here, in layer window at the bottom.

When we click, new layer apear next to out layer with flowers.

It's layer's mask

And then we can

using black color

cut out these flowers

[DRAW, DRAW]

If we make a mistake, and remove too much

and we can't undo it

we can use both eraser

and white color

This kind of layer works binary. So if we draw black - we erase the picture.

If we draw white

we erase the mask, so we reveal the picture.

And it's cool thing during the erasing the background

and with other things

Beside erasing the background

We can apply effects which works on masks.

it means

Here we can apply...

new layer effect Hue/Saturation

we can change here something

let's make the flowers purple

As you can see, this layer olso have mask.

And we can draw on it.

We can apply this kinda effect only...

on specific flower

or all

beside one

You can't even imagine, how much posibilities masks give!

Or you can for example

color only fragments of flowers

And here if we change anything

it change everything beside

the fragments which were erased on mask.

We can also use clipping mask on this mask!

We can replace this "Kochopuszek"

up

we have this effect on all of the layers

but we can

use mask on it.

How it all looks in real life?

It's mine Kochopuszek

illustration of Kochopuszek

If we want to change color of the linear

lineart is on this layer

lineart color is on this one

so we can change it however we want

we can do it (color of the linear) the same as hair color.

we can also

hair color

hair has color of dark brown to light brown gradient.

We can apply othe gradient, for example

green

and red

I don't like this very much

but it works!

It's crazy Kochopuszek! [CRAZYKOCHOPUSZEK]

with crazy hair

You see, it's super easy!

So how masks looks like in Illustrator, 'coz they looks differently.

We can do the same exercise with text.

can we do it that way?

make clipping mask

The thing we want cut to is up,

not on the layer below.

We select both things.

click right mouse botton, and make clipping mask.

[CUTTING TO THE THE OBJECT]

make clipping mask...

How can we edit this mask?

Here, at the top

You can see these icons

We can click on them

we can then edit the object inside the mask.

Here we can edit object which cut

In InDesign, masks looks different

I can show you this in the following example.

So we have some flowers here.

Mask is already applied to this object.

Using selecting tool

We can resize mask.

We can also use pen

to change shape of this mask.

It's really usefull

when we have some layout and we need to replace this picture.

We can do it really fast.

Just drag and drop new picture - done!

This work similar to Illustrator and pen in Photoshop.

It's useful when we need to put text next to the picture.

Although we can select feature to wrap the text,

it doesn't work perfectly.

So we can do it manualy.

Here you go.

I hope you liked this tutorial,

you learned something.

Let's do the summary then.

In Photoshop you can apply 3 types of masks [SUMMARY]

It's clipping mask

You can apply it or release it by clicking the right mouse button, and choose right option.

it's mask's effect.

which we can apply and edit using

for example brush.

The same way, we can edit layer masks, using black and white color.

We can apply mask on text.

We can also apply mask to text in Illustrator.

Text needs to be on top.

and picture we want to be masked, needs to be under the text.

The same we can do with objects we want to cut to.

We can also edit this mask using pen.

We can edit mask which is below.

We can do it using these two icons.

We can replace it.

Resize it.

etc.

Here we can transform

object which cut layer below.

In InDesign mask is apply automaticly. [INDESIGN]

When we click in the bottom, we can replace the masked picture

When it's selected by blue rectangle, it means that it moves as whole object.

We can also use pen

to edit mask.

Access to this option is a bit easier then in Illustrator.

We can link (replaced) other files very easly.

I hope you like it. [THANK YOU]

If this tutorial was helpfull - give thumbs up!

I hope that we will meet in new tutorial soon.

See you!

Spicer Capital Channel Update: 🖐️ 5 Ways to Get More Content! - Duration: 7:58.

I want to share with you 5 new ways you can gain value from this community.

But first, I want to be clear: this is a video for true fans of this channel - for those

of you who have told me that you can't get enough of my videos here on YouTube, who sincerely

want to know what else I'm working on and how else you might be able to receive value

from the content I'm putting out there.

If that's not you, that's okay - that's not a problem, but this video isn't for

you.

You can click away right now, no hard feelings, you don't even have to leave me a thumbs

down because I'm giving you this out right here, right now!

And you can come back for September's 5 dividend stocks to watch video that should

be out within the next day or two.

Well okay, looks like it's just you and me now…

How's that for viewer retention.

And I honestly don't really care (for this video).

Before I started my channel, I always thought it was weird when creators would make "channel

update" videos.

I always thought, "ooo, most people aren't going to like that; that one's not going

to do well for them…"

But now, being where I am today, where I actually feel a connection with you.

I just appreciate you and value our relationship so much (especially since you're still here),

that I want to pass on as much value - create as many resources - as I possibly can to help.

So here I am creating this Update video that won't rank well and likely won't do much

of anything to boost my subscribership (it may even turn a few people off).

But it's totally worth it… for you!

So if you enjoy this content here, I want to bring your attention to 5 resources that

might provide you with additional value and strengthen our little community here even

further!

Just explore the ones that make the most sense for you, based on how you learn and your unique

interests.

#1.

I've finally embraced the Instagram bandwagon.

The stories, at least - I'm still figuring out the other stuff...

But not because everyone told me I should, rather because I'm excited for the public

accountability.

Let me explain what I'm doing.

You see, I have... a few things going on.

And I need as much time as I can get to ensure I get everything done.

For that to happen, I have to get up early.

So I'll be posting a timestamped picture of me, at my workstation, at or before 4:30

am central standard time.

Now, get this, if I miss a day, the first person to send me a direct message on Instagram

timestamped no earlier than 4:31 am central time, I'll send that person $100.

Hopefully, I never have to and that just means my research will be that much better for it!

But I hope you'll be there, help me stay accountable and at the same time, get a behind-the-scenes

look at my business and a little glimpse of my personal life…

#2.

During that research time, in the morning, I'll be scheduling ...tweets - am I old

if I hate saying "tweets..." - to provide you with relevant articles, updates, and personal

commentary on the stocks I've covered on this channel thus far.

So, if you're interested in those brief ongoing company updates, you might want to

follow Spicer Capital over on Twitter.

#3.

I've set up a Facebook Group as a better place for us to have more of a community feel.

The link is in the description.

Although YouTube seems to be working in this direction, they aren't there yet - not even

close.

There are times where I'd like to give you quick announcements - like these - and I can't

do that very easily through YouTube.

So, I'll do it over there.

That's also where, when I start doing my 90-sec Analyses again, I'll take requests

and find out which companies more people would like to see.

It got way too hard to keep track of it all in the YouTube comments' section.

AND, one more thing about this group, in a month or two, I plan to start doing a Q&A

Facebook Live every week.

I'll collect questions throughout the week that would be better answered in that format

rather than typed out in a comment reply, like I've been doing.

Again, I'll start those weekly lives in a month or two, I'll let the group there

hopefully build up a bit first.

But if you're interested in any of that - that added community learning aspect - then

click on the link in the description and go join our private group.

#4.

I've really ramped up the content I'm putting out inside our small group of Insiders.

I'm doing a weekly live there with my top idea for the week (including an early live

preview of the month's top stock pick).

And I'm posting (pretty much) daily dives into at least one of the stocks that is in

our charitable portfolio or on our watchlist, as well as updating you any time I make any

changes to our portfolio (in, out, increase, decrease, you'll know about it and why!).

So, if you've ever thought about joining and you legitimately think what I just described

would be helpful for you - go check it out.

And if you're still on the fence, you can also just follow the group, for free.

I'll on occasion post things that are available to EVERYONE - even those who aren't paying

for anything - or sometimes I'll make posts available to everyone (the "public") after

a certain period of time.

So, you can still get value out of it, even if you don't have the funds or don't care

to pay.

It's not a problem - I just hope you can find something there that can help!

And finally #5.

The big project I'm working on amidst all of this, is my course.

The goal of which is to help you Invest Smarter.

To help you know what to look for to do that confidently on your own.

To take you from absolutely no idea to fully-developed and confidently-actionable investment thesis.

I've only mentioned this publicly once and I already have 15 students willing to pay

to be part of the beta group.

I'm looking for 5 more.

Those spots will probably be filled by the time you're watching this, but feel free

to reach out to me if you're interested or just go to InvestLikeSpicer.com and I'll

make sure you're updated about the next opportunity to get involved.

That's it.

Beyond YouTube, that's the main suite of resources I'll be working on between now

and the end of the year.

I don't expect they'll all make sense for everyone, but I sincerely hope you can

find something that makes sense for you, for your learning style, for your personality,

and for your budget.

And maybe that's just YouTube, and that's okay - although if that's the case, I hope

you don't feel like I just wasted your time…

Whatever you do, just know that I appreciate you!

I look forward to hearing your thoughts in the comments and hope to see you on Instagram,

Twitter, in our brand new Facebook Group, as a new Insider, and maybe even as a student

learning from the course we're creating!

And I'll see you in the next video too.

I wish you all the best.

Take care!

Here's What I Think of About Buying a Ford Raptor Truck and More - Duration: 3:38.

Rev up your engines, Johnny Boy asks, what do you think of the

Ford Raptor as a truck, ok I've driven them, I've even driven brand new ones that were

demos to check them out for Ford, now if you want to spend that kind of money,

on a pick up truck that has on road and off road capability,

hey it's a decent truck to pick, now realize that of course it's a gas hog

I think they're rated like 15 mpg in the city and 18 mpg overall,

but then again, it's a rather large truck that goes 0-60 in about 5 seconds and has

450 horsepower at least the new ones do, they've got that V6 twin turbo GDI set up,

and it's pretty fast for a pick up truck, now realize as I've said before, I'm not a

fan of lifted trucks but this truck is lifted by professional engineers at Ford,

they spend a lot of time on it, it's not like some kid in his backyard deciding,

oh I'll get a F-150 truck and I'll lift it up 12 inches and put bigger wheels, this was

all done by engineers so there's a little bit more than backyard mechanics behind the

design of this thing, and if you want a flashy fast pick up truck,

all my customers that bought them, they were pretty much happy with them,

Honda power says, hey Scotty no 2007 Honda Accord has a overheating problem, do you think

it's the thermostat, well pray it's the thermostat, that's the cheapest thing in the car,

you go to autozone and get a thermostat for like 10 bucks for that thing, and it has two

bolts holding it on, take it off, put it back in with a new gasket,

simple to do, now if it isn't that, there's a whole bunch

of things that it can be, I have the perfect video for that, it's called

how to fix an overheating car engine, watch that video, and it shows you every possibility

and you can test them all one at a time, but pray it's just your thermostat,

it's the cheapest thing to do, also change the radiator cap, they cost like $10-12 bucks

and that just comes on and off when the engine is cool just put a new radiator cap on, that's

a really cheap thing, and over time like anything else they wear out,

William says, hey Scotty why are headlights so expensive, a pair of new ones costs of

$1,500, well you're talking about buying a whole headlight assembly, and that's because

their all fancy computerized with all the other parts in them,

and it's ridiculous that a pair costs $1,500 because their made out of plastic,

and plastic is cheap, so if you're going to do that, look for aftermarket,

perfect example, my wife's Lexus I wanted some fancier new ones, and they were over

$1,500 a pair but I went online and I bought them for $135 a piece aftermarket,

and yes I bought them from the wrong Chinese company and I will never but them from that

one again because the idiots had clear coated them, always ask when your buying them, have

they been clear coated, and if they says yes, don't buy them,

because the real ones aren't clear coated, they're good plastic and you just polish them

and there are very good cleaners and preservatives that you can put on them, buy the silicone

based ones, so that the plastic doesn't crack and fade over time, if you do that,

do not clear coat them because it's paint and paint will crack,

that's just what happens on plastic, you know it's the dumbest thing on earth, I've seen

idiots say, oh clear coat them, clean them and clear coat them, you know then the clear

coat cracks in a year or two and then they look even worse, so if you never want to miss

another one of my new car repair videos, remember to ring that bell!

fabio rocha - Conversando sobre a fé com o meu filho Nicholas - Duration: 4:55.

Hello brothers and sisters in Christ.

Today I'm going to do like a video-interview with my son, this was requested to me from his will.

He said he wanted to be part of my youtube channel and blog. I'm going to ask him questions about our faith, his school and other things.

I'm going to speak with him in english because he's more comfortable with that language rather than portuguese. He understands a bit of portuguese, he refuses to talk though... right? [Nicholas: mm hmm).

For those who doesn't understand english, click on the squared icon located on the bottom right corner of the window so that the subtitles will show up.

I myself will create the subtitles for you to understand fully.

Estavas nervoso?

- Nao.

PCR Capture for Google Chrome - Duration: 5:00.

PCR Capture is a free extension for Google Chrome that saves time and reduces errors

and duplications while sourcing, updating, and interacting with contacts in your PCRecruiter

database.

To install it, just search for PCR Capture in the Chrome Web Store and click 'Add to

Chrome'.

The plugin is self-updating, so you'll always have the latest release.

Once we've added the extension, the PCR logo appears in the Chrome toolbar.

When we first open the plugin, we need to enter a PCR login URL, username, and password.

Then we can select a database.

Once that's done, we'll see an options panel, as well as an option to switch databases

within the account.

We also have a toggle to enable or disable PCR Match, a feature which identifies the

names of your current PCRecruiter contacts on websites as you browse and adds interactive

links to them.

More on that in a moment.

First, let's check out the Options panel.

Capture has a Basic mode and an Advanced mode.

In Basic mode, any contact record we capture is processed automatically with no added user

interaction.

We've got the option to create all contacts under the database's Default Company, the

company name detected in the contact's data, or a specific company record we define here.

We can also select a Rollup list to add all of the captured names to.

In Advanced mode, we can view, confirm, manipulate, and augment the contact data before saving

it.

We also get manual control over duplicate merging.

This last option lets us disable the confirmation popups after each capture or set them to automatically

close after a moment.

Let's enable Advanced mode for this demonstration and walk through a sample Capture.

We've browsed to a web page that PCR Capture recognizes, and so a popup appears here on

the side.

If the contact wasn't in the system, we'd be prompted to add the new record.

However, this number indicates that there are already some records in our PCR database

that appear to be a match for this one, based on social network URL, name, email, and location.

Clicking on the popup takes us into the Select Record panel.

Here we'll see a list of the records that seem to be a match, with the most likely matches

appearing first.

We can review the suggested records and select the one we intend to update.

On the next screen, we're given the option to keep the record with its current company

association in the database, or we can create a new company based on the data collected

from the page.

We also may be given the option to move the contact into an existing company that appears

to be a match, or search for any other company in the database by name.

We'll keep this record with the current company and choose 'Next' again.

On the 'Review Data' panel, we can view and augment the information we're about

to save into the database.

At the bottom, we have the option to associate the captured record with a Rollup List, which

can be very helpful when you're sourcing a lot of contacts for the same type of role

and want to group them together in the system.

Once a Rollup list has been selected here, Capture will remember it until you select

another.

You can also link the captured record to a pipeline for a job – just search the position

by job title or ID.

Now let's look at the PCR Match feature, which lets you interact with people already

in your database as you find them on the web.

PCR Match is just one more convenient shortcut between your private recruitment database

and the public websites that you frequent.

We'll click on the Capture extension icon and turn on PCR Match.

When active, this feature skims the current page for any hyperlinks that appear to contain

a first and last name.

It then checks for matching names that exist in your PCRecruiter database.

If one or more names match, you'll see the PCR icon.

Two of these records appear to be a match.

Clicking on the icon for James in Santa Fe, we'll see that there are three records in

the database that match this first and last name combination.

Paging through, it looks like the third one is the one we want.

We can click on the name to jump to the record or use the icons below to send James an email,

use an integrated phone or SMS system to call or text him, add his name to a Rollup list,

or see his position Pipeline records.

The PCR Match feature stays active in the current browser window as long as it remains

open, and it will work on any web page where first and last name combos are used as links,

including popular social networks and search engines.

If you want to exclude a site from PCR Match scans, click the PCR Capture icon and use

the 'Exclude Current Site' toggle.

You can also control which sites PCR Match scans by going the Options panel and using

the PCR Match tab to add or remove sites from the whitelist.

For more information on PCR Capture and the many other ways that PCRecruiter can enhance

your workflow, contact a Main Sequence representative.

Crochet Butterfly Tutorial - Duration: 1:26:30.

Hello everyone, thank you for joining me, I'm Kerri. Today I'll be showing you how

to crochet this butterfly.

I'll be using 4-ply crochet cotton and I've got seven colors. I've got black for

the body and red, yellow, orange, aqua, green and blue for the wings. I've got a

1.25 millimeter crochet hook. My scissors, black sewing thread and

sewing needle to stitch on the upper body and I've got a darning needle to

weave in my ends. Now underneath my upper body I've got a small section of black

that I crochet the wings onto. So I'll start with the body part and I start

with fifteen chain.

I miss the first chain and I work one single crochet into each stitch to the

end. So I'll work that and I'll meet you at the end of the row. Once I get to the

end of the row I work one chain and then I work one single crochet into the back

of each chain. So just into that back loop in there.

So I'll finish this row and

I'll be back. Now I've finished the row so I fasten off

and that's just the small body part done. Now I'm going to start on this section

of the wing here.

So I join my cotton to the very end stitch and work twenty-five chain.

I work one treble in the fifth chain from the hook and then work two double

treble into each of the next two stitches.

Then work a joined treble over the following two stitches.

One treble into each of the next three stitches.

A joined treble over the following two stitches.

One double crochet into each of the next three stitches.

One half double crochet into each of the following five stitches

and one single crochet into each stitch to the end.

And join with a slip stitch into the next stitch on the body and fasten off.

Now I'll just weave in my ends because I find it easier. They'll just get in the

way if I don't fasten them off. For the next segment I join my cotton five

stitches down from the end, in this stitch here and I start with four chain

and work three treble into the same stitch as the chain.

Now I work one treble into each of the next four stitches.

A joined treble over the following two stitches.

One double crochet into each of the following three stitches.

One half double crochet into each of the next three stitches

and one single crochet into each of the last four stitches

and then slip stitch into the next stitch on the body and fasten off. So

I'll weave in that end and I'll be back and we'll do the next section. For our

third segment we join our cotton five stitches from the end of the second

segment. So in here and we start with four chain and work three treble into the

same place as the chain

and we work a single crochet in the third chain from the hook and then work

a slip stitch into each of our chain down to the head.

Then we slip stitch into the head and fasten off.

And there's our body done. I'll just weave in the ends and I'll give the wings a

press and I'll be back and we'll put it together. Now there's the two pieces

finished off and ironed. For this one there's not much making up. I just have

to do attach the upper body across the top of the body like that. So I'll do

that and I'll be back and show you the finished butterfly. And there's the

finished butterfly along with some in different colors. If you like my video
