A recently published study may make you rethink this habit.
After analyzing the utensils and appliances found in the kitchens of many offices,
the researchers came to startling conclusions.
One of these refers to tea bags, which can carry up to 17x more bacteria
than a toilet seat.
Disgusting, is not it?
In the readings made, more were found of 3,500 bacteria in the apparently harmless
tea bags, compared to a Toilet seat that holds about 200.
Other equipment found in the kitchen also reached worrying figures, with
bacterial readings of an average of 2,400 kettle and 1,500 handles on the handle of the refrigerator.
The reason for all these bacteria is simple: in a survey carried out with
office, about 80% of them said they did not think about washing your hands before making a
drink for your colleagues.
If we stop to imagine the number of hands - potentially dirty - that can touch these
kitchen utensils, including the pot full of tea bags, we have the perfect scenery
for cross-contamination.
To avoid problems and maintain your environment healthier work, it is recommended that
use anti-bacterial wipes to clean the utensils and the surface of the workbench

objects.
