The Falling Stars internet challenge is the latest viral internet craze, and it aims to

make light of accidental death.

I feel like this challenge is going to get out of hand really really fast.

Welcome back to IO, where we tell you about everything that's trending on the internet.

I'm charlotte dobre.

Before I get into this video, tell me in the comments below, what was the best prank you

Before I tell you about this new challenge, I just wanna remind you to check out the creative

Whenever I do a video like this, I always wonder why there are never challenges like,

the pass college challenge, or the show up to work challenge, or the be a decent human

being challenge.

No, screw that guys, lets start a challenge where we pretend we died.

That's a way better contribution to society.

I'm gonna tell you about the falling stars challenge, where people are staging scenes

where they have fallen to their deaths.

It seems to have really become popular among rich people, who are able to stage themselves

with yachts or expensive cars.

The more extravagant the scene, the more likes people get.

Hense the name of the challenge, falling stars.

Here's one with a guy falling down an escalator having just shopped at hugo boss.

And here's one with a guy falling to his death with a gigantic box of macarons.

That box of macarons probably cost like 200 dollars.

People post their submissions using the hashtag falling stars or fallingstars 2018, and then

they also tag friends and family members that they want to participate in the challenge

next.

Here's one of a guy and his.

The challenge first became poular in Russia and seems to have really taken off in eastern

Europe.

They should rename this challenge the crazy rich Russians challenge.

I feel like this challenge might get really dangerous really quickly.

Some of the submissions feature people falling down escalators, or jumping off boats.

I definitely don't feel like I'm rich enough to do this challenge, but then again,

maybe it will morph into a version of the bow wow challenge, where people post photos

of themselves pretending to be rich.

LEGO Overwatch 2019 minifigures teaser analysis! - Duration: 1:08.

With the start of Gamescom 2018 today, LEGO and Blizzard released a teaser of some of

the Overwatch minifigures for 2019!

Now, these will be part of sets releasing in January from my understanding.

They just showed holograms of the characters, but from left to right, there's Widowmaker,

Reinhardt, Genji, Soldier 76, Mercy, and McCree.

For these minifigures, I love all the new pieces I can see... especially the hair for

Solider, Widowmaker, and Mercy.

It's strange they don't tease Tracer and D'Va here, since I think they're the most popular

characters along with Widowmaker and Mercy.

I'm still 100 percent sure they'll be in the first wave, however.

Also, where's my girls Mei and Sombra at?

I have a feeling they won't be in the first wave.

:(

Oh, and the video teases three maps - Watchpoint Gibraltar, Hanamura, and Dorado.

Perhaps we'll get sets based around each?

Either way, I have a feeling we'll be seeing a set or two revealed this week, either at

Gamescom, or as the Brick Fan reported a couple days back, the Overwatch Fan Festival in South

Korea showed LEGO is on the schedule, so it could be there as well.

Even though I haven't played too much Overwatch, I love the character designs, thus I really

want these sets.

Ok.. on to ghosting and fading

Ghosting is the process of ending a romantic (or platonic) relationship by cutting off,

blocking, or ignoring your former partner's attempts to contact you.

Basically, when you're ghosting someone, you're ending a relationship without acknowledging,

explaining, or informing your partner of your intentions.

And Being ghosted is not fun!

It leaves you confused, frustrated, and disrespected as you search for clues to explain the disappearance.

if you've ever been ghosted you know how unsettling it can be.

So, why do people do?

Ghosting happens when someone is afraid of the confrontation of breaking up with you.

they would rather fade out or disappear without communication than to end it properly.

So, If a person you're dating is not initiating communication, responding very slowly in a

non engaged way… or making excuses not to see you, then he's using fading as a break-up

method.

He's hoping that you'll eventually get fed up of being ignored and end the relationship

yourself.

Or you'll just stop trying and the relationship will fizzle out without any kind of confrontation.

Or, they just go radio silent.. no communication or responses.. and may even block communication

when they are ghosting.

Regardless of their tactics…

People who ghost are primarily focused on avoiding their own emotional discomfort and

they aren't thinking about how it makes the other person feel.

And if you don't have friends in common or run in the same social circle, they are

banking on the possibility that they never have to deal with it.

Ghosting is possible today because there are less social consequences to dropping out of

someone's life.

And The more it happens, either to themselves or their friends, the more people become desensitized

to it and the more likely they are to do it to someone else.

So, if and when it happens to you, here are 5 steps to help you get over your unfriendly

ghost

1.

Recognize You've Been Ghosted One of the worst aspects of ghosting is the

fact that it might take some time before you realize that you've been faded

out.

While you're waiting for a response, you'll question whether the other person got your

texts or saw your missed calls.

Communication failures happen all the time, so it's possible your partner thought they

responded, but you never received the message.

Make a friendly phone call or send a brief message checking on them and remind them you

had tried to make contact.

If you still don't hear from them within a few days, it's time to accept the fact

you're being ghosted.

2.

Acceptance Coping with the end of a romantic relationship

is never an easy process.

But when you're ghosted, it's more difficult because you may hang on to false hope.

And without accepting that it's over, you might engage in behaviors focused on getting

your ex back and prolong your suffering.

The process of recovering begins with accepting that it has happened.

Acceptance allows the healing to begin and facilitates a quicker recovery from the disappointment.

The first two steps help you to recognize that you've been ghosted.. but keep watching

because these step will help you feel better about it.

Seek Understanding, If Possible If you're single and dating, chances are

you've been ghosted.

And when it happens to you, you are left wondering what happened.

It's important to remember that people ghost because they want to avoid confrontation or

conflict.

The lazy ghost hopes the problem will just go away if they avoid the other person forever.

Of course, your partner's avoidance leaves you wondering what provoked their change of

heart in the first place.

Let's face it, sometimes the reason for the relationship's end is clear.

Perhaps there was a disagreement or dispute leading to your partner's decision to bail

out.

If so, ask yourself the tough questions and have the courage to answer them honestly.

Perhaps you did something or said something that alienated your partner and contributed

to the breakup.

Assess these behaviors and why they occurred.

Were they situational behaviors, habitual behaviors, or personality characteristics?

An understanding of the behaviors and personality characteristics that led to conflict allows

you to learn from the experience.

Perhaps you recognize how you could have behaved differently.

Or was the conflict a result of your partner's objection to a belief of yours.

In that case, you'll realize that you would do the exact same thing again and conclude

that your personalities are incompatible.

It's Not About You At All Sometimes the decision to end a relationship

is not about you at all.

Technology makes meeting people easier than ever.

Mobile and online dating, provides an endless catalog of available singles.

And when you have too many options, it becomes more difficult to choose and be happy about

it.

Knowing that these choices exist might make it more difficult for people to commit and

stay committed to their partner.

Ghosting is also common when an 'on-again, off-again ex' shows up asking for another

chance.

In fact, that's happened to me once….

I Went on a few dates with a woman whose relationship had ended 6 weeks prior.

I thought things were going great.. but then, suddenly she disappeared.. no response.

No communication.. nothing.

Apparently one evening he just showed up at her door.. and she then deleted all of our

communications.. guess how I found out?

Well, she started texting me again when they broke up again.. and guess what I did…

I ghosted her back.. no… lol..

I found out what happened and then told her I was not interested in dating her.. her explanation

doesn't justify her ghosting me, but it at least I knew for certain that it wasn't

something I did.

So… if you've been ghosted and there wasn't an obvious disagreement or falling-out that

you regret, go easy on yourself, because it's not about you!

Focus On You And Don't Lose Hope

The important thing to remember is that when someone ghosts you, it says nothing about

you or your worthiness for love and everything about the person who doesn't have the courage

to have an uncomfortable conversation… even by text.

. It shows he/she doesn't have the courage to deal with the discomfort of their emotions

or yours, and they either don't understand the impact of their behavior or worse don't

care.

In any case.. the message they are sending…

I'm not mature enough, nor do I have the courage to tell you the truth..

Instead, I'll hide hear and pray that I never have to see you in public anywhere.

So if you're ghosted, don't bombard them with over texting or calling… don't bombard

them with insults…

Be the better person, retain your dignity, and move on.

And please, Don't allow someone else's bad behavior to rob you of a better future

by losing your vulnerability and shutting yourself off from another relationship.

Keep moving forward and know most people are inherently good and will treat you with the

respect and integrity that you deserve.

no I don't I don't want to do that anymore

um the thing that bothers me the most about my channel direction is that kinds

of videos I post is related to the kinds of videos that I despise and now I don't

despise storytime animation per se I quite like some channels I think that

they put a lot of effort in and their art styles are adorable and I think that

actually most if you can take the time to like animate an entire script okay

you've got all my props I don't care what your art style looks like I don't

care how much effort, like animation is hard

so it's good um the thing that bothers me is the community that surrounds that

topic because it tends to be a bunch of people that create storytime animations

and a bunch of people that react to said storytime animations and nobody seems to

be able to be nice to each other and that's not something I want to

participate in and it's not oh like way I want to paint myself and I don't want

to be associated with those channels ever use I don't want to be involved in

that kind of community it just is not who I am it's not the kind of people I

want to be friends with and I would much rather make videos that make me happy

not videos that get me views so even if nobody watches them right here videos I

want to be more aesthetic um that's a really big thing I am tired of my videos

being bland and it's just one image one image one image I want videos but I want

them to have like care and passion and stuff put into it and I want pretty

music and I want to be just overall more careful in what I produce and what I put

online because I think that it's important to be careful about what you

produce and put online and I think it's important to represent yourself properly

you know if you want to create a persona that's fine but I want to be me and I

want to be able to present myself in a way that earns respect really I don't

want to I don't want to act like I'm 13 forever and I'm far I'm far from

thirteen now so I definitely want to want to change my concept content up I

just don't really enjoy getting linked in like in my recommendations because I

release something I released a video that took that

simply put my opinion out about that community and like I put a couple more

videos out and that smile and I keep getting recommended these videos and I

watch them and I hate them every single time and I really need to start

diverting my content and my clicks and my watches to things that I actually

want to be and things that I want to grow into and things that I want out of

myself and expect of myself I can do better than the videos I have been

producing believe it or not I can so I want to be able to share this work with

people because I'm embarrassed by my current youtube channel I can't share it

with my family or friends I don't think that it's worth it it doesn't represent

me it doesn't like my family will look at it and say that's not that's weird

why are you acting so weird or so I want to make something that isn't isn't going

to make me feel ashamed I think that's everything I wanted to say I'm not this

Listen to Looch: new Lynyrd Skynyrd documentary is an eye-opener - Duration: 3:47.

Hey guys, it's Looch.

As I live and breathe, I never thought that I would be sitting here urging you to watch

a 90-minute documentary about Lynyrd Skynyrd.

But a brand-new documentary just aired on Showtime, and it's called "If I Leave Here

Tomorrow."

It is the most enlightening — I learned so much!

For a band that I had maybe just put on a shelf and thought, "Southern, boogie-rock,

confederate flag, whiskey, whatever" — it's so much more than that.

And I have a great appreciation for this band.

First of all, they were incredible musicians, every single one of them.

And they had a work ethic — I guess they would get together in some, like, shack in

the woods and start rehearsing at eight in the morning.

And Ronnie Van Zant, who was the lead singer of Lynyrd Skynyrd, was almost savant-like

in that he could write a song in his head, write the lyrics — he'd go fishing, and

he could hear the band rehearsing down the river, and he'd start writing lyrics to what

he was hearing.

And they toiled around and played dumps and school dances and then Al Kooper, who was

in Blood, Sweat & Tears and also played the infamous organ riff on Dylan's "Like a Rolling

Stone," signed them to his own label.

And then they got their big break: opening for The Who.

And they literally went from playing these dumps to 50 people to 18,000 people.

But then, when that tour was over, they went back to the dump and played, and then they

got a chance to open for the Rolling Stones, and they kind of screwed with them because

Mick's a control freak and they were just out of control.

Yes, they imbibed on the drink and the drugs, but they were anti-gun, anti-racism, and they

now admit — the surviving members — that having the confederate flag, of course, they

were naive and thinking that it just represented where they're from, and they realized how

hurtful a symbol it is.

And I also think, as far as documentaries go, when is the last time you've heard, in

detail, the story of plane crash as told by the survivors?

It's incredible, the way they describe going down in this plane in this field in Mississippi

— they describe it as it sounded like somebody was beating on the plane with 800 baseball

bats.

And some members survived; Ronnie Van Zant did not.

Six people died, the pilots died.

I almost don't want to tell you this, but there's a guy whose sort of job is now preserving

the legacy of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and more specifically, of the plane crash.

He goes out into the field where the crash took place, you know, 35 years ago, and digs

up a piece of the fuselage.

He starts going, "You can find parts of the plane."

They also describe that when the wings ripped off of the plane, obviously, I'm sure, all

their luggage, everything, and it was like clothes and socks hanging in trees.

It's a really incredible documentary that any music lover should really check out.

And I'm going to tell you right now, too, that the next drunken loudmouth who screams

"Freebird" at a show, I will never be able to think if it in the same way, because the

song "Freebird" is used at the very end to sort of encapsulate the whole idea of "If

I Leave Here Tomorrow, will you still remember me?"

What Is A Entrepreneur? (Why they Don't Think Outside The Box ) - Duration: 5:13.

And I'd say we're all entrepreneurs.

We're all out-of-the-box thinkers, right?

'Cause if you weren't you'd be at your job right now.

So, this box, right.

So there's two things I used to talk about:

entrepreneurship and out of the box.

Now those are two terms I see used a lot.

I think they're misunderstood a little bit.

I see a lot of memes for entrepreneur

and it's oh, I'm watching earnings,

you do this or you do that, right.

And I have my own view of both these things, right.

And they might not be the same as other things you've heard.

Again, they're just my view.

And so I'm gonna talk about them a lil' bit in depth.

The first thing I'm gonna talk about

is I'm gonna talk about the box.

This box is a dream killer.

This box is a entrepreneur crusher, right.

Well, where'd this box come from?

And how did we get in it?

So I have something that I came up with and again,

this is not scientific data.

This is something that I thought of.

So the box is, here's what it is,

is what happens as soon as you can walk, talk,

eat, and go to the bathroom by yourself.

What happens to you?

Right!

They send you to school!

Right, domesticate you, exactly.

So, what happens when you go to school, right?

What happens the first day you go to school,

what do they do?

Now I'm gonna tell you what they do.

The first thing they do, they pull this box out, right.

And they say, "Get in the box."

So you're in school. (laughing)

Alright, they tell you,

they tell you to get in this box, right?

So they say, okay, listen, if you get in this box

and you can follow all the directions,

or if you can memorize real good,

right, if you can follow exactly what we say,

and do it just the way we say it,

boy, you're gonna be a success right.

Is that true?

Like in school, and again, I know a lot of people

have kids and this is the way I see it and my viewpoint.

But a lot of times the kids who do really good

in school are real good at memorizing.

You know, they're real good at certain photographic things.

So we go through school then what happens

is we go to college.

We're still in the box, right.

We're still on that box and then what happens after college?

Well we get a job.

Right, we get a job.

And what happens?

Well, the job it's almost like school, right.

We get up at early, and we get to work

at eight, nine o'clock.

We got a break at 10:15, then we got a lunch break, right.

Then we go home at six o'clock.

There's our life, right, still in the box,

still following tasks, still doing what we're told,

so we can get a paycheck.

Now what we doing this for?

Well it's not all bad, right?

'Cause if you got a good job, you get two weeks off a year!

Whoa, so for those two weeks, you get to fulfill

all your hopes, dreams, goals,

everything that you were gonna do, in those two weeks.

You know, sounds like a good deal to me.

So then what happens?

In our job, what are we wanting to do, right?

Bikers Learn Marine's Remains Being Shipped FedEx, Ride 2,000 Miles To Keep That From Happening - Duration: 2:52.

The men and women who protect our freedom deserve the utmost honor and respect, even

more so when they make the ultimate sacrifice and give their own lives in the line of duty.

Staff Sgt.

Jonathan Turner is one such hero.

After seven tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, he died in California from combat-related

injuries one year after he retired.

U.S. Marines Staff Sgt.

Jonathan Turner served seven tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He recently died in California from combat-related issues.

When the Patriot Guard Riders heard Turner's ashes were going to be mailed home to Georgia,

they got busy making other plans.

Patriot Guard members, including those from Oklahoma, are stepping in to help provide

the brave Marine with a dignified final trip across the country ... back to his mother's

arms again.

The 41-year-old veteran's family lives in Georgia and was not able to attend his funeral

in California.

The military planned to send Turner's remains to them once the ceremony was over, but that's

when the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) stepped in.

PGR is an organization of bikers who attend the funerals of military members, firefighters,

and police officers and protect those funerals from protestors and harassment.

They also fill out the attendance at funerals for indigent and homeless veterans, perform

volunteer work for veteran's organizations, and host homecoming celebrations for troops

coming home from overseas.

When PGR found out Turner's remains were going to be shipped home in a FedEx box, they

knew they could not let that happen.

"The California Patriot Guard Riders contacted all of the state captains from California

to Georiga and explained the situation, that it was not proper to ship this war hero home

via FedEx," explained Jeff Goodiel of the Georgia Patriot Guard Riders.

"Within days, a convoy was assembled with each state's Patriot Guard Riders driving

Turner's cremated remains across their state and then passing those remains off to the

next group of riders."

Event organizers say this was the longest trip of its kind, with hundreds of volunteers

transporting the remains more than 2,000 miles across the country.

To Turner's family, the respect and honor that PGR showed him meant the world.

"It's heartwarming, to see all these people here," said Turner's mother, Annie Glanton.

"I know that he was loved by a lot of people."

The riders say honoring Turner in this way was well worth the effort.

"Turner was a great leader who inspired his fellow Marines, both in the Corps and

in daily life," their website reads.

"You were his friend if you knew him for five minutes or five years.

He would give you the shirt off his back."

Joachim Brudziński (50 l. ) zamieścił na swoim Twitterze zdjęcie ze wspólnego urlopu z Jarosławem Kaczyńskim (69 l.).

Problem polega na tym, że prezes PiS wygląda na nich, jakby został doklejony. O co w tym chodzi?.

Nie jest tajemnicą, że w ostatnich miesiącach Jarosław Kaczyńskizmagał się z problemami zdrowotnymi.

Prezes przeszedł poważną operację, a po wyjściu ze szpitala przebywa głównie w swoim domu na Żoliborzu.

Spekulacji na temat tego, jak poważny jest stan zdrowia prezesa w mediach pojawiła się masa.

Zadać im kłam postanowił Szef MSWiA Joachim Brudziński.

Na swoim Twitterze zamieścił zdjęcia z urlopu w Beskidzie Sądeckim.

"Prezes Jarosław Kaczyński w #BeskidSądecki zatroskany stanem opozycji w Polsce" - zażartował Brudziński.

Czujnym internautom coś jednak zaczęło nie podobać się w samych zdjęciach.

Pojawiły się głosy, że postać Kaczyńskiego została doklejona do tych górskich krajobrazów.

"Zajmuję się grafiką i od razu idzie zauważyć, że to montaż.

 Wzdłuż lewego ramienia idzie cienka jasna kreska, ślad po wycinaniu z innej grafiki albo z całkiem obojętnego tła.

 A podświetlenie tyłu prawego ramienia to odbite światło z jasnego tła.

Poza tym rozbarwienie nie takie" - pisał jeden z internautów.

Tego typu wpisów było znacznie więcej:

"Hej, panie Brudziński, zmień pan eksperta od Photoshopa, ktoś fajnie bawił się tym zdjęciem i wyszło to co wyszło",

 "Fotomontaż w oczy razi!" - mogliśmy wyczytać w komentarzach.

Głos w sprawie zabrał sam Brudziński, który wyśmiał wątpiących w prawdziwość tych zdjęć.

Przy okazji dodał dwa kolejne, ale te też wyglądały dość podejrzanie.

Do dyskusji włączył się poseł Szczerba, który zauważył, że prezes w takim samym stroju był dwa lata temu.

Wtedy nie było jednak ponad 30-stopniowych upałów.
