Youtube daily report w Aug 21 2018

Oh those sexy tech companies.

They're in the financial news and they're on our phones.

The fact that they're on our phones might be the most important thing about them.

In a year where the prices of stocks in most sectors have gone down, the tech stocks have

kept going up up up.

The "Hey I use that everyday!" factor has kept the dumb money flowing towards these

companies, even though most people now think a price correction is inevitable.

It's not that they are bad companies, it's just that they are super over-valued according

to all traditional measures…

But the dumb money keeps flowing so the party continues, and the dumbest money of all is

coming from Saudi Arabia, and its crown prince Muhammad Bin Salman, popularly known as MBS…

As I've emphasized before Saudi Arabia is in pretty dire straits.

It's not an immediate crisis, but the long term fall in oil prices since 2014 has made

its model unsustainable.

I'm pretty sure that we're now in Saudi Arabia's last ten years under the current

regime.

To their credit, the Saudis realize this and they've been making some drastic changes

to try to deal with it, under the title of Vision 2030.

They're trying to diversify their economy away from oil.

There are new taxes, new cities, new entertainment destinations, and a not entirely fake shift

away from religious fanaticism.

It's not enough.

I've dealt with the problems of Vision 2030 in detail before on this channel.

I've talked about the fantasy of the Aramco IPO.

I've talked in great detail about Saudi Arabia's horrifying and ruinously expensive

foreign policy.

Much of the rest of the world has been catching up on these topics.

The chorus against the Saudi war on Yemen is getting stronger, and everybody is finally

beginning to concede that the Aramco IPO is never happening.

But one aspect nobody is focusing on is just how dumb Saudi Arabia's signature investments

are…

This simple fact is being obscured by two of the world's most effective bullshit factories,

working hard to fool all of us, and even to fool each other.

On one side you've got the tens of millions of dollars that the Saudi government pours

into public relations.

On the other you've got the hype machine of the maturing tech investment bubble.

What's fascinating is the way that these two hype machines fool each other.

Tesla's Elon Musk seems to think that Saudi Arabia is going to fund a 72 billion dollar

move to take Tesla private.

This is money Saudi Arabia doesn't have.

72 Billion dollars would be almost all the money from that Saudi Aramco IPO that isn't

actually happening.

Saudi Arabia is also being fooled.

It keeps buying into the tech industry just as it is peaking, helping to inflate what

is already a super-massive bubble.

Saudi Arabia did buy 5% of Tesla earlier this year.

Thats an investment that lost 15% of its value just last week.

You can see why Elon got confused.

Every month brings a new headline talking about incredible sums.

A 500 billion city!

80 Billion dollars of Nuclear plants!

200 Billion dollars of Solar power!

There is very little real money committed here.

It's all just fairy tales and unicorn farts, and very likely to remain that way.

All these plans are reliant on massive outside investments that probably aren't coming.

Saudi Arabia does have vast sums of money, the problem is that it's all already over

committed.

The Saudi government expects to spend 260-billion dollars or so in 2018, but expects to take

in 52 billion dollars less than that.

So they are now taking on large amounts of debt.

They've got a sizeable cushion, including foreign reserves of 506 billion and a less

liquid Public Investment Fund worth maybe 230 billion dollars.

But Saudi Aramco, the State oil company, is a golden goose they are in the process of

killing.

All of Aramco's profits are already committed to keeping the country funded.

Instead of the IPO, which would have actually drawn in outside money, it's looking likely

that the Saudi government will force Aramco to buy assets from the Public Investment Fund

to generate cash.

This is the very definition of robbing peter to pay paul.

Or would that be robbing Omar to pay Abu-Bakr?

The Saudi government and Aramco are now taking on massive amounts of debt to pay for these

outside investments.

And most of the investments that are actually happening are in tech companies that any sane

analyst can see are over-valued.

Through Softbank's 100 billion dollar vision fund, run by a Japanese tech mogul, Saudi

Arabia and the UAE, among other investors, are actively inflating the tech bubble.

They are keeping the party going, but it's very likely that Saudi Arabia will lose money

on most of this stuff.

Take Uber for example.

Back in 2016 Saudi Arabia paid 3.5 Billion dollars for a stake that valued the company

at 65 billion dollars.

Valuation of tech companies before IPOs is largely voodoo, but in 2018, with mounting

legal problems, and after the firing of their founder, Uber is now only reckoned to be worth

around 48 Billion.

There's a chance that Saudi Arabia will make its money back in an IPO, but there's

also a very good chance that Uber will end up as the Myspace of ride-sharing and be worth

nothing.

This is not what Saudi Arabia should be doing with the few spare billions it has left...

The SoftBank Vision Fund is built around an assumption.

One or two of its investments will do amazingly well, and the rest will probably be worthless.

It's a sound investment strategy, but it's one that can take decades to reach fruition.

Saudi Arabia doesn't have decades.

These tech investments are very unlikely to help Saudi Arabia's economy in the slightest.

Saudi Arabia's all-powerful Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman seems to be doing this

because it looks cool.

MBS is a very dumb investor.

And Saudi Arabia is going to suffer for it.

Why it is so difficult for us to speak English? - Duration: 4:51.

Hi everybody, Cédric here!

Today I want to talk about a frustration that

I think many of you have experienced.

I sure have! Why is speaking English so difficult?!

Have you already subscribed to our channel?

If not, take a second to click the red subscribe button now!

Be sure to turn on your notifications

so that you'll be the first to know about any new videos we publish.

I know what you're thinking:

you're speaking perfect English right now!

Well, that doesn't mean that I've never been challenged or felt like giving up.

There are a few factors working against us non-native English speakers,

but don't let that discourage you.

I'm here to reveal some of the biggest reasons why people struggle to speak English

and give you some tips on how to overcome them.

First up, one external factor:

your school system.

The way the education system is set up in most countries

isn't very conducive to language learning in general.

Large class sizes, education requirements, standardized tests, and limited class time

make it difficult for teachers to focus on speaking with their students.

Which means that even if you studied English in school,

you probably had little practice speaking the language.

There isn't much you can do about your background in English now,

but you can take control of your future!

Next, speaking usually requires us to combine multiple skills.

What I mean by this

is generally we don't just speak to ourselves

(although this can be a great way to practice!).

We speak with another person,

so in order to speak, we need to be able to listen to

and understand what the other person is saying,

Then, we need to have the vocabulary to come up with an appropriate response.

You also need to have

the correct pronunciation to be understood.

It can be really helpful to practice with a native English-speaking conversation partner

who is roughly at the same level in your native language.

Since they will understand your struggles,

they will likely be more patient with you.

It also helps to prepare as much as possible before a conversation.

If you know the topic,

you can work on identifying and using subject-specific vocabulary.

If you don't know the topic ahead of time,

at least practice a few "emergency phrases"

to use if you don't understand or need the speaker to slow down.

Another reason why a lot of people find English speaking to be difficult

is because of the pronunciation aspect.

Depending on your native language,

you might not have ever produced some of the sounds

that exist in English.

And even worse,

you might not even know your pronunciation is wrong

because your ear isn't trained to hear the subtle difference

between your pronunciation and the correct one.

To overcome this challenge,

I suggest focusing on a few of the most commonly mispronounced sounds of English

like the "th" sounds.

Getting really good at these tricky sounds

will not only boost your confidence

but will also help you sound more "fluent" than you actually are.

And finally, speaking English is hard because

you tell yourself it is.

So much of speaking a foreign language is in your head.

If you have a negative attitude about it,

you won't get very far.

Envision a version of yourself that speaks fluent English.

Imagine how confident you are,

and how many exciting opportunities

you have available to you because of your skills.

Now, get to work to make that vision a reality!

Now that you know some of the reasons behind why

English can be difficult for people who are trying to learn the language,

you'll be much better prepared to kick those obstacles in the butt!

And if you want to focus on improving every aspect of your spoken English

including your confidence

in a way that is both

structured and flexible, fun and productive,

our Masterclass "Speak English with Confidence" is a great option

(check the link below for more details)

with English that you are! See you next time!

SANTA MONICA, CA - JUNE 16: Host Tiffany Haddish attends the 2018 MTV Movie And TV Awards at Barker Hangar on June 16, 2018 in Santa Monica, California.

Rodriguez/Getty Images for MTV).

Tiffany Haddish kicked off the 2018 VMAs with an unexpected diss.

While her and Kevin Hart were presenting the award for Best Hip Hop, the Girls Trip comedian commended Camilla Cabello for being nominated in five different categories.

She then turned to the camera and said: "So for those of you watching at home….HAAY FIFTH HARMONY!".

Cabello was formerly a member of Fifth Harmony before she opted to become a solo artist last year.

While her former group mates Lauren Juregi and Normani Kordei have also released solo material, Cabello has seen the most commercial success.

After Haddish and Hart presented the award to Nicki Minaj, the rapper clapped back at Haddish's comment by saying: "Tiff, don't be coming for Fifth Harmony because Normani is that b*tch.".

Haddish's comments caught fire on Twitter, where several users were shocked by the casual shade.

"Damn.

I feel bad for what's about to happen to @TiffanyHaddish's socials after that @FifthHarmony diss," wrote one user.

"Didn't have to go there to put @Camila_Cabello over." Another user tweeted: "Tiffany Haddish ain't cute for that Fifth Harmony joke.

Normani is gonna crack top 10 next week.

If you gonna make a joke at least know what you're talking about.".

Other users took the diss less seriously, and were merely amused by Haddish's remarks.

E! News adds that Haddish did manage to poke fun at Cabello as well, as she was unable to pronounce her name. "Camila Cabellelo… Cabello… Camille Cabello," she said.

"You know I can't read that good.

I only speak English, and that's mostly in Ebonics.

She's nominated for five VMAs tonight.

I'm super proud of her!".

After the surprising dig at Fifth Harmony, the camera cut to Cabello, who just shook her head and smiled.

Hart, who co-stars alongside Haddish in the upcoming comedy Night Class, tried to soften the exchange, saying: "Tiffany went there.

See, you never know what's gonna happen at the VMAs.

Beefs pop off, bad language, people run to the bathroom and send outcrazy tweets.

It's basically like any day in the White House.".

In the group's defense, Fifth Harmony has taken home three VMAs over the years for Best New Artist, Best Pop Music Video and Best Collaboration.

Check out some additional VMA news below involving rapper Logic and singer/songwriter Ryan Tedder.

Day 37: Programming The Subconscious Mind! - Duration: 10:22.

Hi Trish leadyourlifestyle.com a life of freedom and choice. I haven't checked in here for a while

I'm checking in here from Cleveland, Ohio

this is where I do my primary business which is real estate real estate investing and

I also have my other business which is well, actually, I have two online businesses, which I operate as well and

the

Advantage of having those online businesses is that I can talk from anywhere

I can do it from anywhere in the world, which is amazing

so it really suits my lifestyle the ability to be able to come here and

To run my business as well today. I wanted to talk to you about

Self-sabotage or giving in to those weaknesses or giving in to those temptations?

When you are wanting to or

Really working towards certain goals and achievements. I

was just listening to a video that was dedicated to me which was quite an honor and it was

Daren Carrington and

He he posted a video in the 90 day video

journals posting it from the Sahara Desert and

What he does do he's incredibly fit he is an incredible athlete and he does ultra marathons in the Sahara Desert

Absolutely amazing and

the reason he posted that video and took that video from there was all to do with mindset because

the day before I posted a

Weigh-in of my results with respect to my 90-day health and well-being journey

Which I have goals certain goals to achieve certain weight loss

by the end of that 90 days and it was interesting my dad arrived here in America to visit for three to four weeks and

During that time he has been here I felt myself sort of wavering a little bit with respect to

Going and tempting to going in sort of giving in to these temptations with respect to food and going eating elsewhere Aaron

so for the last

35 days. I've really had a pretty good routine when it comes to

eating and diet and it's so I found it relatively easy I go to the gym every day and

The weight loss has been happening

However, I am wavering and even though the results were incredible on the scales on Sunday

So there was some significant weight loss. I

still felt like I was

sort of twin Currie tinkering on sort of giving in to certain

Temptations and just certain things. That would actually take me back off track again, and I'm not just talking once or twice I'm talking about

me rationalizing or my little voice in my head rationalizing me and

The reasons why that I want to sort of, you know

Fall off the bandwagon or to not continue with that journey. So I

Posted that and I posted my insecurities around that and daeron

incredibly said this response from the middle of the Sahara Desert and

he

Talked to me about how the body is responding to the subconscious. The subconscious mind is starting to

and that's that little voice inside of our heads that little voice that sort of

rationalizes sort of the bad behavior or

rationalizes the going of course or trying to get you back into your comfort zone and I've always said the

Subconscious the body is you know in a sense looking now for that way back. It's hi Jane. How you going?

Great to see you here. Hi, Jalan. Oh great to see that you joined

so so I think what's happening is the subconscious now the body is

looking now for that weight and for me to actually gain back that weight and

It was it just sort of correlates with the message that Darren shared this morning and

He talks about

mastering your awareness and mastering that level of awareness when it comes to

knowing what those triggers are in your body and

The body is trying to respond to what the subconscious now is delivering to

And I think there's a bit of a struggle going on. There's this bit of a

Struggle with the subconscious and my goals and my focus and my determination

And my commitment to follow through so I think that's all happening

But what he did say is that when you feel like the pace is slowing down when you feel like there's some

Contradiction or when you feel like there's a struggle going on

He said you've got to ask yourself the question question

Do you want to stop or do you have to stop?

Do you

you know and especially with him when his body's slowing down because

All the time. He said it's you know, he answers the question. Well, do you want to stop generally? It's do you want to stop?

He you know

it's never do you have to stop so I think you just have to ask that question of yourself and I

think most of the time it's all about

Moving through that and moving past that and answering that question, you know, do you want to stop or do you have to stop?

asking yourself those questions, so

anyway, that's

that's my share about recognising those triggers and knowing how powerful that subconscious mind is and

Really asking your questions out loud. You know, how how how badly do you want this and you have to know?

have that awareness that level of awareness knowing that those body triggers are there and that it's going to

Take try and take you off course

It's gonna try and sort of bring you back to

The comfort zone to the place that it knows and I think my body is doing that right now

And so I have to be very mindful of that

so that's my share today and great to be back in here into my Facebook group and

Jelena well that makes so much sense when you think about how people yoyo up and down with their weight all the time

It's so powerful when you understand where it's coming from. Yeah, I

it's very powerful Jelena and it's really coming from the subconscious right now, and I'm feeling that struggle go and

I have deviated to

certain temptations and

I could see how that could progress really really quickly really really fast. So

It's about taking control of it again this week. I'm struggling with that, but I'm

taking back control and

Just having that level of awareness like Daron talked about is really important

and so

Yeah, that's that's really what it's all about. And I think that that's refers to our business as well

The subconscious is trying to make us safe

It's trying to bring us back to the norm what it considers or what we consider the norm

It's trying to protect you and it's trying to keep you safe

and it's trying to bring you back to what you know that familiarity and

As we know on this journey of building our businesses. We're growing all the time

we're stepping out of our comfort zones all the time and by doing that the subconscious gets a little fearful and

Subconscious thing us. We get a little fearful

And so that's what creates this struggle going on food is also super social. That's right. It is super social and

That's the struggle and that's right and that's one of the being the biggest struggles

In this 90-day health and well-being as well. Is that social situation where people love their food and people

sort of

They want to offer to you their love and their kindness and their nurturing through their food and I'm experiencing that as well. So

Yeah, Jane taking back control

it's something that I

really do need to dig my heels in and

Really seriously, too. And you know, what's interesting too as well. I want to share is that Darren?

Created that video and my dad came over because I create a green juice every single morning

He's now part of that and he's now drinking that green juice

he

Told me when he arrived that you that I shouldn't be taking it. So seriously, you shouldn't be so extreme about

This journey this health and well-being journey. And so I think that that's what's caused a little bit of weakening in myself

so what I did do this morning is I actually showed him Darrin's video this morning and

He I think he realized how

powerful and how strong and how focused I am with respect to this challenge now and

he went to the property managers office because they asked if he wanted to come up and just come up for coffee and donuts and

I wasn't gonna stop him doing that and so I dropped him off and then I came back and

They gave him some donuts to bring home

so he he has a house here as well and

He put the donuts on the side

In a bag and then he came back

He realized that he'd left them. He came back and he picked up those bag of donuts and took them away

So I think that video has had quite a powerful awareness impact on him as well. So

That's my share and I'm gonna share this in the 90 day video

90 day health and well-being challenge as well because I do have to make up some videos

I think there's two or three that. I do have to make up. So that's gonna be part of the journey as well Jane

jelena, thanks for being online with me and

That's me Trish leadyourlifestyle.com. And if you find this on a youtube channel, press that subscribe button, and I'll

Talk to you very very soon. Bye everyone

Eventuali tempeste dei mercati non possono minacciare una democrazia sana. Saudi Arabia is Awful At Investing | Markets Are Dumb 4 - Duration: 7:39.

Harry and Will's big mistake - Duration: 5:57.

After all, when you believe a group of people took your mother — aged just 36 years old — away from you, why would you let their cameras capture anything of importance? Why would you reward their intrusion with co-operation, and ultimately expose yourself to their unforgiving flashes? And so, Prince William and Prince Harry don't

They don't pander to the British tabloids that pore over every minute detail of their lives as royals

While others in the Palace have coexisted with the local press for decades — the Queen, for instance, is renowned for keeping things cordial — the sons of Diana resolutely do not

According to royal expert Marlene Koenig, it's their greatest mistake in the public eye

"William and Harry have distanced themselves from the media, and made things much more difficult for everyone around them," Koenig, who has written two historical books on the British royal family, told news

com.au. "What they fail to realise is that the tabloid press, with little to go on, will feast on whatever they have and try to turn it into something awful

The British tabloids just go for the jugular. They don't care about facts." While Koenig concedes the paparazzi made the boys' mother's life difficult, she believes their animosity is slightly misguided

"For them, this all goes back to Diana and their belief that the press killed her

But the truth is she was killed by a drunk driver and didn't have her seatbelt on," Koenig said

As tensions between the Duchess of Sussex and her estranged family intensify — her father and half-sister don't seem to be quietening down any time soon — Koenig has observed the brothers "building walls around themselves"

Since issuing an official statement in regards to the "wave of abuse and harassment" targeting his then-girlfriend in November 2016, Prince Harry has held such contempt for the press, he avoids them unless absolutely necessary

At his wedding in May, just one reporter and two photographers were welcomed through the gates, compared with the 28 reporters and 17 photographers the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had at their 2011 wedding

Prince William is also said to be increasingly cagey. In May, ex-paparazzo Max Cisotti told CBC: "Nowadays, it's not uncommon to receive a letter from solicitors when you photograph the young members of the royals in a public place

" In Koenig's eyes, this strategy is foolish and emotional, as it effectively means William and Harry relinquish all control of the narrative being pushed

"They should be more offering to the public, to the media, and issue more things particularly when it comes to how [Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis] are growing up, and how Meghan is getting on," Koenig said

"They certainly need to find a better balance than they have now, because the more you give, the less temptation there is to create stories

" The author of Queen Victoria's Descendants suggests the princes should grit their teeth and look abroad to how other families handle the insatiable public interest that comes with being a royal

"If you compare them to the Swedish royal family, it's a completely different attitude," Koenig said

"They are always releasing photos of the kids and letting the public in." Koenig attended Crown Princess Victoria's 40th birthday celebrations in July last year and said it was an entirely different atmosphere to what she experienced at the royal wedding between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in May

The festivities at Solliden Palace, in Borgholm, should provide a good example for the British royal family, Koenig said

"Victoria, Daniel, and the two kids were marvellous. Victoria works the crowd — she stops and talks to everybody, she poses for selfies, she talks to the press at length

They're so giving," Koenig said. "They'll release birthday photos, new photos of Estelle and Oscar several times a year … whereas the British royal family doesn't do that anywhere near as much

" The Dutch royal family is equally impressive in their handling of the media, Koenig said, praising King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima for holding official photo calls several times a year

In many ways, Koenig said, the steady stream of palace-approved photographs is an unspoken compromise with the paparazzi

"The King and the Queen and their three daughters release a series of photos every few months in exchange for being left alone

It makes much more sense," Koenig said. "These families show there needs to be a far better agreement and a far better attitude between the media and Kensington Palace … but I fear it's only going to get much worse

"

Man Utd legend Paul Scholes SLAMMED as agent Mino Raiola threatens Paul Pogba transfer - Duration: 3:15.

The former midfielder has been extremely critical of the Frenchman this year, most recently lambasting Pogba's performance at Brighton on Sunday

Speaking on Optus Sport, Scholes said: "There's a lack of leaders in the team. We thought Paul Pogba might be the ideal candidate to be that leader but he wasn't there today

"He had another really poor game. He's so inconsistent." But now Pogba's super-agent Raiola has hit back at the Manchester United hero on social media, directing two separate tweets at Scholes on Tuesday morning

"Some people need to talk for fear of being forgotten," he tweeted. "Paul Scholes wouldn't recognise a leader if he was in front of Sir Winston Churchill

@paulpogba. "Paul Scholes should become sports director and advise Woodward to sell Pogba

"Would be sleepless nights to find Pogba a new club @paulpogba." Gary Neville also took to Twitter this morning, making his feelings very clear about Raiola's comments

"Let's hope @paulpogba leads his agent and shuts him up!" he tweeted. Much has been made of Pogba's reported falling out with United boss Jose Mourinho recently

The World Cup winner failed to see eye-to-eye with the Portuguese coach at times last season after repeatedly being dropped for important clashes

The Pogba/Mourinho row appears to have rolled over into this season as well. After the opening game of the campaign, United's all-time most expensive player dropped hints that all was still not well between the duo, insisting he would 'be fined' if he revealed the truth about his situation

Pogba was more to the point after Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Brighton. He said: "My attitude was not right

It has to be a big lesson for us. "They had more hunger than us. I put myself first, that my attitude wasn't right enough

"We made mistakes we shouldn't make. "We tried to push and push, we kept trying, but it was a bit too late

"We were playing at home last week and that's different. "Different teams, different tactics

I know you cannot always play very very good. "The attitude always has to be very good and we missed that

Output Platen Covers - HP Latex 330, 360, and 370 Printers - Duration: 6:17.

What I'm holding in my hand is the original output platen cover for the Latex 360 and 370.

Now these shipped with the 360 and 370.

So if you have a 360 or 370, you probably have a set of these.

I want to explain what they were for.

I want to explain what they were not for.

And then I want to introduce a new product that is available for you, which may solve

some issues that you're encountering.

Now if you have a 330 or a 310, I'm sorry, you probably do not have these, but if you

have a 330, you can always order a set.

So, get with your reseller and ask for the banner platen output covers.

Now this is the old version.

What this was for is you have all the felt on one side here.

And then you have these little plastic tabs, and there are two of these.

These are designed to slide into a little rail right at the very edge of the platen,

and then they cover the aluminum output platen.

They do this primarily for fabric applications.

That's what they were designed to do.

When you run, say, a roll of, oh, I don't know, Fisher Tri Poplin.

Fisher Tri Poplin is a certified media,

but it's going to use about two hundred to two-hundred-and-thirty percent ink density.

So, you're going to be using a lot of ink.

And if you run a whole roll or even a half-a-roll of that stuff, you're going to run so much ink,

and it's going to create condensation.

You know, these are water-based printers where you're not printing a hundred percent anymore.

You're printing two-hundred percent.

So that's a lot of ink, and it has to evaporate all of that water.

Well, with you running a lot of fabric,

very heavy coverage, you're going to create some degree of condensation.

These felt covers were designed to load onto the platen cover.

Now you have to use... you have to use the take-up-reel when you're running fabric across this.

And then it would capture that condensation, so it couldn't get onto the platen and then

possibly slide on the platen and drip on the fabric.

That's what these condensation covers were for.

They were not designed to run, say, double-sided banner.

So if you are using these with the plastic tabs to print double-sided banner, stop doing that.

What's going to happen is it's going to finish side A,

and you're going to load it onto side B, and it's going to print the job and then try to roll backwards,

and it's going to drag this thing right back into the print path,

and then the printhead is going to run into this.

That is not good.

These were not designed for that.

But we have a rescue.

We have a solution now and a very elegant solution.

So this that I just showed you, that is technically obsolete, ok.

This is new.

This replaces that.

Now if you're not having any issues and you're not running double-sided banner, those are fine.

They work great for fabric.

That's what they were designed for.

But if you're running some double-sided banner, and then after you've printed side

A, you load the banner into the machine, and the side A,

which has the ink side, it's already been printed,

is now going across the aluminum output platen.

And it sticks a little bit.

The printer is still feeding the banner.

The banner is sticking a little bit on that platen.

And when that happens, it folds a little bit in the print path, and it can cause a head strike.

So, what we designed is a new banner platen output cover.

This is specifically designed for banner, but as you can see with this felt there,

it also works for the fabric.

So, it's sort of an all-in-one cover now.

This has the metal rail.

It's a metal L bar.

This slides into that slot instead of the plastic tabs.

It's much stronger, and it holds into that slot a lot better.

It also comes with Velcro, ok.

One piece of the Velcro goes underneath the banner platen cover or the output platen.

And then the other part attaches down across the platen and it kind of stretches down and

then secures against the other Velcro, which is stuck to the underside.

That allows it to be nice and tight right across there.

It can't get out of that channel.

It can't be pulled backward or forward.

This works beautifully for double-sided banner.

It also works for the condensation on heavy fabric coverage.

And you can use it on some banners that even single-sided,

when they go through the print path, they try to stick a little bit.

Some real soft banners can do that.

So if you're having trouble where the banner seems to be resisting or touching that aluminum output platen cover,

call HP support and ask for the banner platen output covers.

They're new.

They will send you a set.

If you have a recent 360 or 370, these will come with the printer.

And then you'll say, "What are these strange things?" There's an instruction sheet that comes with it.

It's very clear how to put them in.

And then here I'm going to show you the way that I like to insert them.

It's very simple.

And I use them for a few other things too.

Occasionally, some magnetics.

Any material that I think is going to try to stick on that platen, I'll put these on.

And that's still a fairly small, very small group of materials.

But if I do think it's going to stick a little on that warm aluminum platen, I'll use these.

And they're very handy, and they're easy to put on.

The Velcro that you stick on the underside stays there permanently.

And there are two of them.

Again, just call 1-800 HP Support and ask for your set if you feel you need them.

If you don't run a lot of double-sided, don't worry about it.

Capcom has unleashed RE2 Remake Claire Redfield finally, and the Birkin monster and we are

flipping out right now.

Not only did they confirm that there is a playable Claire Demo at Gamescom (media only

sadly) but they also unveiled a variety of screenshots that we will look at right now

and they are totally awesome.

In the official press release capcom state how Claire will meet up with Sherry in the

basement of the RPD and the monster Birkin is chasing her.

While Birkin looks to be doing damage with the pipe and even grabbing Claire by the face,

she seems to get some payback with her grenade launcher.

Later, Claire and Sherry make it to the parking garage which kind of reminds me of Resident

Evil 1.5, where they run into Chief Irons who takes them hostage.

These screenshots are a really cool look and there's even a new art screen.

It is a little weird that they didn't make a gameplay trailer based on the demo, but

we might be seeing that later in the week or at least some footage of the demo.

WATCH: Logic & Ryan Tedder Perform 'One Day' At the VMAs | Heavy.com

Logic performed his newest single, "One Day," at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards, making a powerful pro-immigration message in the process.

The track features vocals from OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder.

"One Day" was nominated for best collaboration and best video with a message, and the live performance below sees Logic and Tedder take to the stage with dozens of Hispanic parents and their children.

Logic can be seen wearing a black t-shirt that reads: "F*ck the wall," which is in protest of the Trump administration's separation and detention policy.

Watch below.

The families behind Logic and Tedder can be seen wearing shirts that read "We are all human beings" across the chest.

Each of the people brought onstage have been impacted by immigration issues, according to the Hollywood Reporter, and many of them are immigrant leaders from the National Domestic Workers Alliance, United We Dream, and the Make the Road New York organization.

The poignant message of Logic's performance echoes the one he gave at the 2017 VMAs.

It was then that he performed "1-800-273-8255" alongside singers Alessia Cara and Khalid while suicide survivors stood in the background with shirts that read "1-800-273-8255" on the front and "You Are Not Alone" on the back.

After the performance was over, Logic asked the crowd to stand on their feet to applaud those who have to deal with the disease.

"One Day" is not the first time that Logic has criticized Donald Trump's presidency.

After his performance at the 2018 Grammy Awards, the rapper addressed the audience.

"To all the beautiful countries filled with culture, diversity and thousands of years of history, you are not a sh*thole," he said.

"You are beautiful.".

Logic has also called out Trump and fellow rapper/Trump supporter Kanye West on the track "America.

" On the cut from his Everybody album, he raps: "George Bush doesn't care about black people / 2017 and Donald Trump is the sequel so / Sh*t, I'll say what Kanye won't / Wake the f**k up and give the people what they want.

"Man it's all love but the youth is confused," he continues.

"Initial D".

Hmph.

You were lucky just now.

However...

How long will your luck last?

Don't get the wrong idea...

This is just a greeting.

The next time will be your doom.

Don't forget about me.

The Grim Reaper's GT-R....

I will never forgive those who break the rules of Touge battles.

His negative emotions will not be able to lead him towards the right path.

What does being a racer mean to you?

Nah...

I will find the answer by racing you!

That is good enough.

Nothingness is the truly fastest racing style.

I'll put my faith in it.

How much are you able to put Zero Theory into actual practice?

This is the best chance to test it.

Listen up...

If you felt fear, you should let go of the gas and calm down.

Your true opponent isn't the other racers.

It is your own weak heart that you must defeat.

Let me ready up.

Good luck have fun!

Yeah yea... Nice to meet you!

Good luck have fun!

Don't be scared!

Good luck have fun!

That incredible mental toughness even under the greatest stress!

That is the ideal Zero's heart I had been aiming to achieve!

[D.O.D] R.G.P Hits Lotte World, Pt. 1!!! - Duration: 10:30.

Currently, Jiseul,

Yukika unnie, and Yeeun got here early and waiting for me sooo...

(Today, I decided to hang out with R.G.P members at Lotte World > _<)

Now, where would they be?

Can you be in front of the camera? (An R.G.P reunion is on the way)

(Heading in after receiving the ticket~)

As we entered, we are on a line to get ourselves some hotdogs.

- Yeeun is gonna get some Churros, Kika will get a hotdog, - Churros~

- I'm gonna get a weiner or a stick and what are you getting, Jiseul? - a Hotdog.

- What kind of hotdog? - the one with cheese in it.

Jiseul is gonna get a cheese hotdog.

(Reporter Jeewon)

It's actually called a corndog? what's the difference?

hotdog has a sausage wrapped in a bun with all the fixins,

- corndog has a stick.

Jiseul and Kika started taking selfies all the sudden.

I'm trying to get a pretty shot, but...

- Are we getting headbands? - Let's get'em after we eat.

(A must-buy item at theme parks, headbands.)

Haseo unnie's supposed to be here too,

and she said she'll be running a little late.

Woah, I didn't know they come out like this, cut in half...

Delish!

I don't think I'd be able to eat this while holding a camera.

- Do you want me to hold it for a while? -Thank you, unnie!

Kikacam!

Would you like to try a bite, unnie?

We are now here to pick out our headbands.

What do you think of this one, Kika unnie?

- Alpaca! - The alpaca one!

That one looks good on you.

Should I get this, or the one with a monkey?

- Where's the monkey one. - Over there, with bananas.

- Honestly, the monkey one fits you perfectly. - Really, should I get that one then?

- It's not because I look like a monkey though? - D-definitely not!

(Busted) (Not making eye contact)

Oh, unnie this one's so cute! (Attempting redirection)

Let's get this for Haseo so she can wear this once she's here. (Found a headband for haseo.)

This camera's gonna briefly focus on Yeeun.

(Spin that pinwheel, girl!)

The pinwheel is spinning!

I'm not so sure this camera would be able to capture it.

(That's enought, Yeeun) - Were you able to capture it? - I'm not sure...

Spicy chicken sauce!

Thank you so much!

(Mukbang continues since entering the theme park)

Are you aiming to take like 1,000 selfies today?

- Let's wait for Haseo unnie somewhere. - Haseo unnie got here?

- Yeah she just arrived. - We'll be waiting for her then.

Haseo unnie is here!

Ta-da! I'm here guys!

- Where did you come from? - I'm late... sorry

- Where were you coming from though? - I-I just left home late...

Oh, you were not coming from somewhere else then?

I was taking care of my puppies...

- What your dog's name? - Leo.

- I have a puppy and I was dropping it off somewhere, so I arrived late.

That's okay, let's get going then! Go go! (Time to enjoy some rides!)

Unnie...

Even though these videos are being posted on R.G.P channel, are you subscribed?

Of course! Didn't you go to Jeju earlier? (Of course she did.)

It seemed like you panicked just a little there.

I visited Jeju with Jeewon last year, so I thought she was gonna go to the same spots this time around too, but she didn't

So, for the first ride of the day, we're gonna be on a flume ride.

- Sorry, can you give us a sec? - What's up?

It's been almost an hour since we've all arrived here,

and we haven't got on a single ride! (they've been snacking for an hour.)

I have a feeling that they'd like to have separate meal later after all this snacking.

Yeah probably, but if you come to a place like this, you end up walking around everywhere, consuming more energy.

- Right! - and getting on scary rides is good for weight loss.

- Can you ride those? - I love'em.

- they're good for weight loss? - I even let my hands go!

I'm not even gonna put seatbelts on!

- I'm gonna ride standing up! - no seatbelts for me! (G-girls?)

- Seriously I ride them standing up! - T-that's impressive.

In that case, I'll... ride'em doing handstand!

- That's... impossible. - Impossible!

I was rhetorically saying that to demonstrate I don't have any fear.

- What about Haunted House ride, can you do that one too? - I think those are two different forms of fear...

Those two are completely separate, in my opinion (Is Jiseul a scaredy cat? VOTE NOW!)

I suggested going to haunted house with these guys, and Jiseul and Haseo got scared, all whiny.

That's exaggerated!

- Liar! - Even on group chat you were like, wah wah

"That's too scary, I can't do it!" Didn't you?

- Liar! - That was a really good impression, unnie!

Where are these unnies? Check it out, the line says, "no joining the line later."

(Kika and Haseo were eating kebabs~) ?

- Maybe we have to wait for them out here! - What about we don't wait for them at all?

- Why? - What about we get on rides separately? (The end of the fragile alliance?)

- What about just 3 of us get on the ride, and those two get the ride of their own? - That seems to be the only way...

- Life is sometimes like that. - It is their fault that they chose kebabs over us.

- Is it just 3 of you then? No more companies? - That's right...

- You may enter then, - But if there's more coming then we'd have to wait here, right?

- Are their more people on your group? - There's 2 more...

- The entire group has to be gathered before entering. - Let's just go.

If other party members will join later, then the entire group has to go to the end of the line. Is that okay?

- We're ditching them! - Alright then, this way...

(Now they know the sweet taste of betrayal) Sorry, unnies...

- "We're ditching them!" - We've crossed the Rubicon now...

- I wonder what they'd say later... - This is so funny.

You were like, without a brief pause, "We're just gonna ditch them."

"We're going our separate ways!" "We're on our way!"

That's the rules of the game~

I hope those kebabs are delicious, unnies!

- This is considered voyeurism, you know? - Can you show me the pics you've taken?

- You look pretty! - I'm having a selfie festival right here.

(Jiseul's goal of the day: Taking 1,000 selfies)

- Which one's your favorite out of these? - I think the leopard print suits you.

I like the leopard print myself.

- Oh that's a picture of me. - What do you think?

I think that's a good picture of me.

Oh, that's a good one too!

So here are some tips on how to spend while waiting on line...

Yeeun apparently reads web comics, so that the waiting time isn't so boring.

I don't have any particular web comics that I read...

- What should I do then? - I don't have any particular ones that I'm following, what should I do?

You should choose one then, starting from the very first issue.

- Web comics, you mean? - Yeah, I want you to try it out.

- What if I don't wanna read them? - Me too! - Then don't!

Ah, I see!

In which case, you can just SUBSCRIBE!

Oh, right on! You can just subscribe to Jeewon's YouTube.

Such a clever girl you are!

Diary of Dionysus! D.O.D!!!

D.O.D, D.O.D!!!

So, our turn is coming up soon. I decided to sit on the very front row.

So, I'm projected to get splashed on the most...

I decided to sit on the way back, since I'M NO COWARD.

I'm scared already!

I'm actually a coward!

(Thank you...)

(You seem to be okay..?)

That was scary.

It wasn't that bad.

It's been a while since I experienced such a fall, so my heart kinda hurts.

I was screaming so loud, and now my throat hurts...

Flume Ride was tougher than I expected...

I was worried since I sat on the front row, but I didn't get splashed much.

We're now gonna go check out the shot from the drop.

- Our pictures are out? - My face is covered by someone else

Unfortunately taking photos of this is not allowed. T_T

Haseo unnie couldn't get on the ride.

We're now going outside~ (We're heading outside to check out the rides there.)

Meet The Managers #16 | Noel from Australia | Top Eleven - Duration: 3:18.

Hi, I'm Noel Carroll from Australia, and this is my Top Eleven story.

As an occupation I do work in the sales industry for solar panels and solar batteries.

In my downtime I'm studying to be a pilot currently,

and I've got quite a few flight hours up from there.

From that as well - Top Eleven.

Usually I just wake up and I'm playing Top Eleven, on the way to work I'm playing Top Eleven.

I'm organizing tournaments for everyone on the Facebook groups.

I run Top Eleven United.

At the moment it's there doing actual Association tournaments.

From there, It's a really good thing to be on, because it helps so many people get their game better,

and also there's a lot more chances to win things as well.

I've been playing Top Eleven now for over five years.

I liked FIFA on the basis of it, but it just didn't

have any strategic or tactical things that you could really do.

This way here, you know that you're playing against someone live on the other side of the world

and they're trying to outthink you at the same time, and it's brilliant.

I manage Taser F.C. I'm mainly more defensive-based.

I have a 5-1-1-2-1 system. By reading just the game animations, I'm able to detect whether

you're using short passing, whether you're passing down the flanks,

whether you're pressing high, or pressing low. And then I can counteract that with

with whatever I like to do, whether I actually want to play more defensive

and see if I can lure you into losing the ball, or whether I want to really high

press and just see if there's an opportunity for me to counter you in your own half.

When I'm actually training players, I want the whole team well-developed.

If I have a loss, I don't get upset at the game. Barcelona can

lose to Celtic, so everything can happen. Top Eleven is just like that.

So you've got to go back, work out your mistakes, cause then I can actually

figure out what I'm going to be doing to make myself better for the next time around.

The most unusual place I've played TE was at - I actually had a chance at the treble,

and there was an afterwork party in a big limousine - huge, stretch limousine.

So while everyone was getting photos, you could see me in the corner, on my screen...loved it!

Domestic league is called the A-League. It's a very good league comprised

of local talent and also signing a few marquee players.

You may've seen Alessandro del Piero, Harry Kewell come through.

So there is a few big ones that are there, and really it is growing.

We'd love to make it one of the more premier sports in Australia.

I'd love Top Eleven to be bigger in Australia.

It just brings so many people together, and really gets people talking.

I think everyone's calling for maybe just a little bit more 3D, or even replays.

Just in between a goal, getting an instant replay of that goal. I think

every Manager out there would say the same thing: "Yes, please".

Club Shop is awesome. Now I've got some quality things there, the authorized shirts.

And just by looking at a shirt you can come up and say: "What level? What are you up to?"

That's what it means, it gives you that extra little bit of real-life touch.

There's a load of other games that don't have that.

Can you say that about FIFA?

No!

Pink Hijab - 15 Years old's spoken word - Animated - Subtitled - Duration: 6:10.

PINK HIJAB BY: Naeema F. Adani (15 years young) ----------------------------------------------------------------

I remember my first hijab. That is my scarf

It was pink.

Simple, I know but to 7 year old me, it was everything; a symbol of my maturity- that

I was finally old enough to cover my hair like my other sisters did.

I wore it day in, day out without fail-even if it didn't match my outfit.

I remember bragging about it and rubbing it in the faces of all my cousins that I was

a 'big girl' now and that they were all 'still children'.

I remember waiting around the washing machine and hanging it and until this day, I still

have it with me, somewhere under the pile of other hijabs that I've bought over the

years.

If 7 year old me had ever met the Naeema of today, she would be horrified.

Not because of the absurd amount of pimples on my forehead, (though, I'm sure that too

would play a role) but because of something else.

It is unfortunate, and I'm ashamed to say it but do not wear my hijab.

My hijab wears me.

When I walk into a shop and a person looks over in my direction I want to disappear.

When a person speaks differently to me, thinking that I do not speak English properly I silently

beg the ground to swallow me whole.

I hate it and for a while, I hated my hijab for it too.

Though it was subconscious, over a long period of time, I begun to change aspects of myself

to compensate for the 'problems' that my hijab caused me.

Whenever I caught the eye of a stranger on me I smiled to show how normal I was.

If I ever spoke to a stranger I would purposely change the way I spoke to sound cheerier and

happy.

If I was ever offered food I wasn't sure of, I would fake a stomach illness or claim

i had already eaten because I cringed at the thought of having to explain my religious

restrictions.

I did all these things and more yet it never occurred to me why.

Who was I trying to impress?

To explain myself to?

The public?

I hadn't realised it but I had separated myself and other Muslims from the general

public.

I could be myself around my family and friends but the public were something to fear, to

shy away from.

I could laugh loudly and wear my hijab normally but I should keep my head down and my mouth

shut around other people?

When had I developed such a mentality?

You see, 7 year old me, though naïve and somewhat oblivious, took so much pride in

wearing a hijab yet 15 year old me would burn in shame at the thought of going out in one.

What had changed in the 8 years between those times?

When had the ability to choose what I wear become prison instead of a liberty?

I remember when I was 9 I took a walk with my mum and we got shouted at by a group of

people in a car.

Things like 'go back to where you came from.' and 'bloody Muslims!'

It was a moment I would never forget.

My mother, a strong willed, sassy, women had become a passive little mouse.

She looked down, face expressionless and walked away.

In my entire life, I had never hated a piece of material so much then I had in that moment.

I had never wanted to rip my hijab off until then.

It hadn't even occurred to me that it was a bad thing.

Since then there have been a lot more incidents all more mortifying than the other.

Something that I use to take great pride in wearing had turned into something I reluctantly

shoved on every day.

Hijab is something I wish people would understand and see though the dark image that has been

stamped upon it.

If I could change anything, anything at all, it would be the bad reputation that hijab

has in society, for my sake and for all the other young women that are harassed and put

down for their decision to wear one.

In a recent study, it was found that out of the Muslims who wear a hijab, 79.6% have been

the target of verbal threats and physical harassment.

1/3 victims had their children present at the time.

Most occurred in public spaces such as shopping centres and train stations.

Furthermore, there was no intervention in a shocking three quarters of cases and only

25% of witness who came forward when there was, were individuals who identified to be

followers of other religions.

This study was taken In Australia in 2017.

That was last year.

For a country who prides its self on its forward thinking we sure know how to take several

steps back.

The literal meaning of hijab in Arabic is 'veil', or 'barrier', something that

shields you.

Hijab is not just the material around my head, it is the dress that I wear it is everything

that I have on that puts a barrier between my body and your eyes.

It is meant to conceal, not reveal and in a day and age like this where a young woman

gets sexually harassed in the world every 20 seconds, is it a crime that I'd feel

safer dressed modestly?

If I choose to wear a hijab, If I want to keep my body to myself and not leave it lingering

in the minds of others that I walk past, isn't it my decision and my decision alone?

I was with my little cousin the other day and you know what she told me?

She said "Naeema we're so unlucky."

I was confused so I asked her why and she said, "You and I, we have the worst combination.

We're women, black and were Muslim.

We might as well sign a death warrant because we'll never be equal."

It made me sick.

A 10 year old girl like her shouldn't even have those kind of thoughts.

To think that she probably turns away from all these amazing opportunities because she

believes something like the religion she practices, has made her incapable of taking part in them.

What kind of world are we living in?

When did it ever become okay to make a young girl feel disadvantaged because she wore a

headscarf in public?

When a person says that a hijab is oppressive they are taking away a women's right to

speak for herself.

How would they know a hijab is oppressive if they've never worn one in their lives?

How can they make these accusations without putting themselves in her shoes without taking

into a count that this was her choice without understanding that they are making fun of

a person's decision to live their life a certain way?

How can they go to sleep at night knowing that she now feels ashamed of herself that

she now feels oppressed because they thought they could play lawyer for a client, who never

hired them in the first place.

I wish people would see that the intention behind hijab is so pure and beautiful.

I cannot be oppressed by an act I choose to practice so stop telling me otherwise.

Stop trying to protect me from an act that you yourself are committing against me.

Don't tell me how hijab makes me feel because that is something I should be telling you.

I might be young and I might not have half the experience that some people have in this

room, but I've lived long enough on this earth to know that a hijab is not a symbol

of oppression, but evidence of the decision a woman chose to make.

I can only wish that one day, the world will come to understand that too.

Myth busting with Darcy Ungaro. Episode 4 - I'll build wealth once I'm debt free - Really?! - Duration: 3:10.

Are you ready for a bit of myth-busting I am - absolutely, that's why I'm here. So,

myth-busting, I'll start to grow wealth once I'm debt-free. Really, do people really say this?! Doing things

sequentially is a recipe for a disaster! Here's the truth - you're NEVER

gonna get around to it anyway - you know if you're waiting for

conditions to be just right you're never going to get anything done! Here's the

observation that I've gained from working with clients like this over 15

years. People who start acquiring assets as fast as they can, DO WELL FASTER! If

your focus is on eliminating debt, you're taking away the very tool that will

build wealth. So why is it then that there are these programs out there where

you can pay up to $5k and get someone else looking at you to keep

you accountable, so that you can actually get rid of debt faster. We don't believe

that's where the focus should be at all - they've got it all wrong!

And where they've got it all wrong is for two reasons:

The focus is on the wrong thing - it shouldn't be about getting rid of debt,

it should be about holding assets. Secondly, it assumes that you're the same

as everybody - else a cookie cutter program applied to you will never work!

The reason why is because you're special - your mom was right! You really

are special! So why would you put on someone else's thing and expect it to

work well for you? Well in reality it doesn't work! We meet people all the time

that have come through these programs and they're looking for something that

will actually work. Things that work will be involving things that actually add to

your life, not take away. Where do your existing motivations lie and how can we

work with those motivations to rewire or remap some of the beliefs you have about

spending to get them in line with where you need them to be. Self discipline is

NOT the cure for your appetite! If it was we'd all become priests right? But it

doesn't work. 'Now Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man, that he didn't, didn't already have' - the

band America said that in 1974 and they nailed it. It's so true - you already have

what you need to be successful in this life but sometimes we just need to hear

an external voice directing us and guiding us to what that thing really is.

So in summary, you know this myth is totally busted

it's not about eliminating debt first before you get onto building wealth. If

you do it in that way you're never gonna build wealth. SIMULTANEOUS, that's the way!

SEQUENTIAL na - throw it away, doesn't work. Do everything right now all at the

same time even if it means your mortgage stays at that level for much longer.

Now we're not talking about borrowing to buy that next BMW - we're talking about

leverage to get into assets that will put money in your back pocket in the

long term. Interested in knowing more?Give us a call, but there you go myth

busting done! Don't forget to subscribe by clicking on logo now
