Antikythera Fragment #8 - Layout Line Visibility - Duration: 20:09.

g'day chris here and welcome back to clickspring

in episode 4 of the main build series I raised the issue of how the ancients may

have increased the visibility of layout lines whilst making components for the

mechanism and you recall that I tried out candle sort as one possible idea now

there were many excellent ideas suggested in the comments of that video

so in this video I'm going to test out a few of those ideas to see what else

might have plausibly been used the mechanism was constructed almost

entirely from a lote in bronze so I've chosen a similar alloy for these test

pieces and a lot of the ideas could be broadly categorized as being oxide based

making use of the natural tendency for bronze to form a dark patina over time

in fact it could be argued that no enhancement of the surface would have

been required at all the metal would likely have had an oxide coating from

the formation process and it does provide a reasonable contrast but I've

discovered through the construction process that abrasives almost certainly

played a large role in the fabrication of the machine particularly in achieving

the very tight clearances so that would almost certainly have been situations

when layout lines were placed on to freshly abraded metal surfaces and so

would have benefited from some sort of contrast enhancement so with that being

the case there are a lot of excellent ideas that essentially involved forcing

the rapid formation of oxide onto a fresh surface the first of which is

simple heating

and it certainly works well I used a butane torch for convenience and almost

any heat source from the period would have done the job it's a tough oxide and

the contrast is good so a heat generated oxide is a definite possibility but

there are also many ways to chemically generate an oxide using readily

available chemicals from the period ammonia and vinegar are two strong

candidates and I found the best results by simply exposing the test pieces to

the vapor of each chemical

the result with vinegar was certainly clear but the ammonia was by far the

most effective of the two generating a deep green patina within a few hours of

exposure it's also possible that the apps more complex chemicals were created

from the more common ingredients this ammonium sulfate solution was easy

enough to make and generated a very clean oxide layer in a matter of minutes

and while it's not entirely clear that liver of sulfur was now and during the

period it does seem to be a reasonable proxy for the various sulfur based

compounds that likely would have been available and again it generates a clear

useful result

so with several plausible methods chemical oxidation of the metal surface

would have been a relatively convenient way to improve the law in contrast

although it's worth pointing out that some might have been more practical than

others ammonia for example produces a very tough green oxide but it does

appear to come at the cost of a small amount of the surface metal a similar

issue applies to vinegar it's a decent oxide but it rubs off relatively easily

and the reaction has lightly pitted the surface the ammonium sulfate oxide is

excellent very tough and uniform at the cost of essentially no metal and the

same applies to liver of sulfur it's a very tough oxide and with an excellent

contrast now I guess that each of these methods present a small liability in the

shop with regard to the smell of the chemicals and the risk of spillage but

they're certainly workable particularly the last two it would have been fairly

straightforward to remove the oxide with an abrasive such as powdered pumice and

it's easy to imagine this last step that he worked into the general build process

of setting clearances as a given part approach completion now another

suggestion for chemically altering the surface of the metal revolves around

using blue stone solution otherwise known as copper sulfate in addition to

being well suited to growing large crystals copper sulfate solution reacts

easily with the surface of ferrous metals depositing a thin layer of

metallic copper onto the metal surface

it's a very convenient and effective method for improving line contrast and

can be easily removed with a light abrasive but the problem is that copper

sulfate doesn't react with copper based alloys such as bronze so although it was

an to some extent still is used as a marking fluid for ferrous metals it

wouldn't have been applicable to the construction of the bronze components of

this particular mechanism now before I move on to some of the other ideas I'd

like to quickly revisit the idea of suit and lampblack simple candle sort proved

to be a little too fragile to a large extent that fragility comes down to the

fuel that was burned some fuels generate an oilier soot that more readily sticks

to the surface and it's clear that paraffin also known as kerosene is one

of those fuels and for that reason it's still in use today

it deposits a velvet black coating onto the surface of the metal that while it

can still be easily rubbed off is durable enough for a modest amount of

marking and handling however it's not clear that paraffin was necessarily

available in the region during the period of the mechanisms construction so

to keep the technique in play we need a fuel from the period that

provides a similar result s Fulton is known to have been widely used in

antiquity for various sealing tasks and so is worth considering and while it

certainly burns well it generates a suit that's reminiscent of candle wax coming

off with very little handling so on its own burning asphaltum is not that

effective at a lower based soot also fits well within the period in terms of

availability of materials and is easily formed into a candle for convenient

application

but again it's very fragile and probably the least persistent of the suits that I

tested coming away from the surface of the metal with the slightest touch

fortunately though there is one candidate that stands out and that's

olive oil it was of course widely available in the region and as it

happens generates a very oily suit that's almost indistinguishable from

that made by paraffin so for an ancient candidate for simply smoking the part I

think it's hard to go past olive oil now asphalt amor pitch can be used directly

on the metal but one very interesting suggestion involves combining asphaltum

with some other ancient ingredients to form a hard specialized wax

once cool the wax is Finley smeared onto the pre-warmed part and initially

doesn't look to be at all promising but the application of suit completely

transforms it into something that's quite impressive

to show you what a difference the wax makes I've suited the other side of the

test piece without it and of course the straight tallow suit comes off as easily

as before but the side with the wax has formed a very robust coating that has a

relatively hard plastic feel it takes a scriber mark easily and importantly

aside from providing excellent contrast it also has the other main property of

equality marking material and that's the ability to take a mark without

necessarily requiring that the underlying metal be scored now this

isn't something that all marking methods can provide so it really sets this one

apart is very suitable for complex marking tasks that require a lot of

surface construction lines that you'd rather not have to remove later with

abrasives add the fact that it can be removed with hot water and I think this

one really stands out as a solid candidate okay so the next collection of

suggestions can be broadly described as an easily applied binding material

combined with some sort of pigment in solution and a good example of this of

course is the modern layer fluid a reasonable approximation of which can be

made by combining gentian violet with denatured alcohol and shellac resin

now gentian violet is a distinctly modern compound so clearly this specific

combination is not consistent with the period with the obvious performance of

the modern fluid naturally leads to the question was there an ancient equivalent

that preceded it shellac and other resins like for example colophony was

certainly widely known and used during the period and if applied in a thin coat

with a suitable pigment would likely be a reasonable candidate but there's a bit

of a problem whilst these resins do dissolve readily in pure alcohol they're

largely insoluble in other common liquids of the period like for example

water wine or vinegar and alcohol distillation is presently understood to

come much later in the historical record

now other solvents are certainly possible so I wouldn't necessarily write

the idea of entirely and the resins can be applied reasonably thinly with

nothing more than heat but the solvent issue does complicate things a little in

any event there are a great many other pigment based IDs that can't easily fit

the bill without much issue about a suitable solvent and we should probably

cover the most popular one first good Eve now I have to admit I wasn't overly

keen on being the donor for this particular test but there's never a

volunteer around when you need one so here it is some of my own limited supply

aside from supply issues though there are some other drawbacks to consider it

does take a reasonable time to dry and it severely affects ferrous materials

although we can ignore that for our purpose given that we're only concerned

with the effect on bronze which appears to be relatively modest on the plus side

it takes a line excellently and again has that property of enabling marking of

the coating rather than the metal underneath it's very robust to handling

and of course water soluble so supply issues aside blood definitely checks out

another very popular idea was squid ink and I'd have to say that overall it's a

good candidate it seems likely that it would have been readily available in the

period and it provides a decent contrast with the underlying metal although it

did prove to be a little uneven during application and the longer drawing time

would certainly have been a drawback but one surprise was that it generated a

particularly tough coating yet being water-soluble was also very easy to

remove both attributes that strongly recommended a clay slurry would

certainly have been cheap to source and easy to apply so on first inspection

would also seem to be a reasonable candidate with an acceptable drying time

it initially appears to hold a line well but the coating is quite soft and not

well bonded to the underlying surface so it quickly becomes apparent that it

can't tolerate much in the way of handling a water-based paint like for

example Chinese white is certainly a possibility it's quick to dry very

tolerant to handling and holds a line well and no doubt these are the

attributes that keep it in use today by some hand engravers

but it must be said that it doesn't provide a great contrast with the

underlying metal and that does raise the question is there perhaps something

similar from the period that would have provided a better contrast the elite

purple dye of the period is even today I watering lis expensive so I think we can

rule that one out but there were many other affordable

dyes available like for example Road an excellent source of natural indigo dye

it's a plant-based diet and is easily mixed into a thin suspension and then

applied to the work

drying time is acceptable and it does take a line quite well although it's not

quite as robust to handling as for example China white or blood

now not the possibility to consider is a pigment added to some sort of tempera

paint base again I used wowed as the indigo sauce with egg yolk for the base

I wouldn't say that it was the best material to apply and I'm not sure how

long it could be stored also the drying time was a little impractical but other

than that the results were very impressive the markings were clear and

it proved to be one of the materials most tolerant to handling

there were many suggestions based around other plant-based coloring materials

like for example wine berry extracts and juices I tried out both wine and

beetroot juice and discovered that there was an issue common to both each looked

quite promising going onto the surface but they simply never drive instead

forming a sticky residue on the surface now it's possible that this could be

improved with various additives so I wouldn't necessarily rule this one out

but it does complicate it as an option

one of my favorites of the whole testing process was India ink this stuff really

is fascinating to make and use and much like the mechanism itself has its

origins thousands of years in the past

it's also an excellent example of what's known as a colloidal suspension where an

otherwise insoluble material in this case lampblack remain suspended in

another substance

now it's probably a little impractical due to the drying time but even so it's

a worthy candidate for the job it's easy to apply and takes the mark well and was

probably the most durable of all tested materials to handling it again came off

very easily with only water the lampblack component of India ink can

also be combined with some sort of non water-based binding agent like for

example beeswax

combined over a medium heat the lampblack easily goes into suspension in

the wax and can then be applied to a pre warmed part

it does take the line well but it has to be said that's a little soft and so

easily smudged which brings us to the final and perhaps simplest idea of all

and that is to score the metal directly and then rubbing some sort of wax or

coating so that only the lines themselves show up a technique that's

generally referred to as smudge marking now this might not always be an

acceptable approach it's never fun to have to remove deep construction lines

on the surface of the work at the end of a project but for some situations it

would have been hard to go past such an effective idea so there you have it a

bunch of possible solutions that could have been used independently or maybe

even together depending on the job at hand this test piece for the engraving

of the rear dial is a good example when it comes to the actual work piece of

probably used smudge marking for keeping track of the arcs and engraving the

radial lines but I can easily imagine that the maker would have preferred to

see the general layout of the text before pulling out the hammer and chisel

and getting stuck in say something that works a little more like a modern

marking fluid would probably have been desirable a material that could take the

marking while also permitting some small Corrections and that would also hold up

to a lot of hand contact from the engraving process

for this test I tried out the asfalt and gum mastic and beeswax mix and I have to

say it's suited the job well the text was still readable throughout the job

despite a lot of hand contact and pressure and the coating came off easily

with hot water it even helped with the overall visibility of the engraving by

lightly colouring the inside of the cuts and making them stand out a little more

clearly against the surrounding metal now that's not to say that one of the

other options might not work even better so I'll continue to test out various

ideas over the coming videos and be sure to let me know which methods you think

are going to be released this year.

So sit back and kick your feet up because here are the top 10 Netflix shows you need

to watch in 2019.

Let's get this list started in at number 10 with Stranger Things Season 3.

Guys, I'm so hyped for season three I literally can't wait.

Netflix released a teaser, so instead of talking about it, let's watch.

okay so when is this going to be released and how many episodes are we going to need

to binge?

Well, Netflix hasn't released an official date yet, but based on the trailer we can

expect season three to be released by the end of summer and there will be about 8 episodes.

The third season is set in the mid-1980s and it should have a back to the future kind of

vibe.

Who else wants to bet that this new mall is built on top of an old lab?

My childhood is making a comeback in at number 9 with Carmen Sandiego.

Does anyone else remember watching this show or playing this game on the PC?

It is such a classic and Netflix has signed on to give this 80's show a reboot.

The animated show will be premiered on January 18th and Gina Rodriguez from Jane The Virgin

will be doing the voice of Carmen.

So even though this show is geared towards kids, I'll probably go on a few adventures

with Carmen Sandiego or I'll break out my old game and play a couple rounds on the PC.

Next up in at number 8 we are talking about The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance.

Do you guys remember watching The Dark Crystal?

It was a movie that came out in 1982 and its about another planet whose crystal broke so

in order to restore order to this world, they must go on a quest to find the missing shard

of the crystal.

I know it sounds confusing but it was actually pretty awesome.

So this show will be a prequel to this film so if you haven't seen it yet, I would highly

recommend it.

This series will be ten episodes and I love that they will be using puppets instead of

CGI so it will give you the same feeling as the original movie.

October Faction brings us to number 7.

This year, Netflix will be bringing some of our favourite comic books to life.

October Faction will be a ten-episode series that follows the lives of two monster hunters

Fred and Deloris Allen.

We follow them back to their hometown where they must hide their identities as members

of a secret organization but they quickly discover that their home town wasn't as

safe as it used to be.

So basically, if you enjoy monster killing and secret societies, then this is the tv

series for you.

The Central Park Five breaks onto this list in at number 6.

You guys know how much I love true crime documentaries so I am super excited for this release.

The Central Park Five is based on the true story about five teenagers of colour who were

convicted of a rape they did not commit.

I'm not going to give away too many spoilers so we will all just have to wait till this

four episode series comes out later on this year.

But in the meantime, if you are dying to watch a really good true crime documentary, you

should check out of true crime documentary list.

I'll put the link to that video in the description box.

And now, in at number 5 we have Orange is the new black

season 7.

Netflix has confirmed that this will be the last and final season of their hit show.

So it will all be coming to an end this year.

I've read that most of the original cast will appear in Season 7 regardless of what

happened in the finale of season 6.

Don't worry, I wont spoil anything for those of you who have to catch up.

Just know that Orange Is the Net Black is set to be released sometime in July of this

year and hopefully it won't be delayed like season 6 because I need to find out how they

end this show.

Russian Doll climbs onto this list in at number 4.

This television series is set to premier on Netflix on February 1, 2019 and its about

a young woman named Nadia who can't seem to escape a party one night in New York City.

It's kind of giving me Groundhog day or Happy Death Day

vibes but let's watch a little teaser.

Natasha Lyonne who played Nicky on Orange is the new black will be starring in this

new series and it was written by her, Amy Poehler and Leslye Headland so I bet it's

going to be pretty funny.

Umbrella Academy brings us to number 3.

This series is about forty seven children who were spontaneously born by women who showed

no signs of pregnancy.

A millionaire adopted seven of those children and he said he adopted them in order to save

the world.

This series is an adaptation of the comic book series and it is scheduled to premier

on February 15, 2019.

13 reasons why season 3 fights its way onto this list in at number 2.

This series took the internet by storm when it was first released in 2017.

Well get ready because season three doesn't have an official release date yet but we can

expect to see it as early as May.

And as we all know, season 2 ended with a huge cliff hanger with Clay holding a gun

as the police sirens are quickly approaching.

So we will finally see what happens with that.

Now in at number 1, we have Our Planet.

I'm super excited for this one.

Our Planet will be an eight part documentary narrated by none other than David Attenborough.

It was filmed over four years and in 50 different countries, so you know this is going to be

epic.

So mark this on your calendar because it is set to be released on Friday April 5, 2019.

that person's career where they were in life or anything like that. It was all

about the things that they posted. They were negative things about this group of

people or that group of people. Either way that person was dehumanizing large

groups of people. Now, I have friends who are conservative and liberal, I have

friends all over the world. And one thing that we've learned is that while we

agree on a lot of things, we still, of course, disagree on many other things. But

it's those disagreements that have cemented our friendships, helped us to

understand each other better, helped us to grow as people, and helped us to think

about our goals and even the world in different ways. So as we build businesses

build our careers, go for goals, it's important to surround ourselves with

positive people who are going to support us in those endeavors. My challenge to

you actually is take a look at who you're surrounding yourself with and

associating with. Are those the kind of people that you would like to be, and

don't feel bad if you need to disconnect from somebody. Anyway I hope you have a

Why Do Women's Hips Sway When They Walk? - Duration: 2:41.

Regardless of culture, the sway of the hips is associated with beauty and femininity.

If you look closely at the woman in the yellow dress, you'll see that the when her right

foot leads forward her right hip appears to rise and swing outward.

As her right foot moves behind her, her right hip moves down and swings in slightly.

So why do women walk this way?

It boils down to some key differences between male and female anatomy.

A key difference between the skeleton of men and women is the pelvic bone.

The female pelvis tends to be wider and shorter than the male pelvis.

It needs to be this way because women's hips need accommodate something totally crazy:

pregnancy.

The female pelvis needs to accommodate a baby that weighs 3.5 kilograms on average and be

able to push the baby out during childbirth.

In spite of being a doctor, I still can't get over the fact that women literally have

a human growing inside them for 9 months.

It's totally nuts.

Anyway, getting back to the point - because of the extra width of the pelvic bone, the

hip joint is different in women as compared to men.

The hip joint has two parts: the ball of the femur, which rotates within a socket in the

pelvic bone, called the acetabulum.

If you look at the hip joint from above, you can see that the acetabulum in men is aligned

straight across the ball of the femur, while the acetabulum in women tends to angle forward.

This is called the acetabular anteversion angle, and women tend to have higher anteversion

than men.

This means that in women, the pelvic bone needs to move along with the femur as women

walk, as compared to men where the pelvic bone stays roughly in the same position while

men walk.

Now looking from the front again, you will notice something different when it comes to

the angle of the femur.

In men the femur has a small angle moving in towards the centre of the body, but in

women, the angle of the femur is much larger.

This angle is called the Q-angle and on average, the Q angle is 4.6 degrees greater in women

than in men.

This doesn't seem like a lot but it makes a big difference in how women walk.

In women, a combined result of a wider pelvis, greater anteversion of the acetabulum and

higher Q-angle, means that the pelvis has to rotate in order to allow a woman to walk.

Combine this rotation in real time, and you get the classic hip sway of the female walk.

Auto-Generate Youtube Subtitles In 191 Languages - Duration: 8:54.

Hey everyone and welcome back to another Tuesday tip where in this video I'm going to be showing you how to automatically generate

subtitles for your YouTube videos for up to

191

different languages and to all of my BMX core audience out there I apologize that this isn't

BMX related but I do this with all of my tip Tuesday and news videos that I can and I've had several

Different people ask me how to do this when. I've talked about it so I figured rather than typing out this extremely long

explanation of how to do it I would just make a quick video so I hope that you guys aren't too mad at me for

not making a BMX related tip Tuesday video so I hope that you guys can either skip this one or find something useful to learn

out of it for maybe your own YouTube videos here on YouTube so

like I said we're going to be automatically generating subtitles for our YouTube videos there are several

Conditions for this so you might not be able to do it with every single video before we get too far ahead of ourselves

let's jump into YouTube which I already have up on my screen here

You're going to want to select a video that you want to automatically generate?

subtitles for and you're going to want to be in the old

creator studio because I don't believe there's a way to do this in the new studio beta as

of right now in recording this video so once you're into the creator studio and the video that you want to auto

Subtitle you go into the edit settings and all of the different things that you can do here we've got info and settings enhancements audio

and screen cards

subtitles

CC so I know that the Creator Academy or creator

insiders whatever YouTube channel just recently uploaded a video talking about

Subtitles but they didn't tell us how to make them so what you're going to do is select the subtitle

CC tab within the old creator studio

it's going to bring up this screen right here and what you're going to have to look for to make sure that you can do

this is the published and in

Automatic to be in this list if there is nothing here you're not going to be able to

automatically generate and translate subtitles

within this video so once you've found a video that you want to generate

subtitles for and it has English

Automatic under this published list you're going to want to go up to this blue button up here and click add new subtitles or

CC

automatically English pops up here you're going to click on

English and then the next screen is going to show up and you're gonna have three options upload a file

Transcribe and auto-sync or create new subtitles or cc what you're going to do here is click create new subtitles or

CC and

when the screen pops up you'll see then because we've already got automatic subtitles

generated that it puts them into the video for you whereas normally in this screen you'd be typing out the

subtitles and pushing enter for it to automatically populate these boxes in the areas that it's

Generated for you within the video we don't have to worry about any of that here or we're going to do is find you the

actions drop-down we're going to click Auto generate just to be redundant it says Auto generation

completed and then we're going to click published or publish and I don't normally read through these because they're usually

pretty close but you can go through and make sure everything is correct and that it translated everything properly for you

into subtitles I usually don't worry about it and just move ahead with the process

So now that we have that part done the rest of it is extremely easy

All we have to do is click add new subtitles or cc again

We're going to search for the language that we want and I will start with the language that I always start with and do?

China or Chinese and

We're going to click on the first one here this is the same for any language that you want to choose in this list you're

going to click create new subtitles or cc again the screen is going to pop up and it's going to have our English

subtitles here we're just going to click Auto translate you'll see that it'll automatically populate and

translate the subtitles that we have in English

to Chinese

for us and I can't tell you how much time this saves because honestly

I've never taken the time to

translate by hand I can only imagine that it would take days to do this if we did it manually

So now that we've got all of this done and

we're ready to publish our new Chinese subtitles we just click publish and

basically we just repeat the process for any

subtitle language that you want to add into your video and this is a perfect opportunity to use

analytics and subtitles together to reach entirely new audiences or reach audiences that you're already reaching

but on a whole new level because rather than having to

understand what you're saying in English or whatever language you're speaking

they will have subtitles that they can read that makes it that much easier for them to understand and enjoy your content

so with that being said go into your analytics go into your

demographics and find out which countries are watching your videos the most and then figure out what

language those countries speak then add

subtitles for every single one of these countries in their languages into your videos

So that that many more people can enjoy them and another tip for using analytics and subtitles together that will literally

boost your view counts over

night as they did for me is to go into your real-time video views and look at your top performing videos

over the 48 hour period and

make sure that you put subtitles on all of those videos for all of the languages and countries that you found in the

demographic settings this way all of your videos that YouTube is

already serving to people will get served to that many more people because now they're in different languages and

more people can enjoy them and understand them as I said this literally

boosted my view counts over night when I did it with all of my top performing videos and

it's something that anyone can do on any video that YouTube

automatically provides subtitles for and like I said if you don't have this English automatic

Here, you're not going to be able to auto translate an auto subtitle your videos you'll have to do it manually but typically

YouTube does a pretty good job of doing this for you especially if you have

video language set to your language of origin

Which is very easy to do and if you don't have it set all you have to do is select it the same way you

do to add subtitles and then click this box for default for new

uploads and this is something that you're not gonna have to worry about going away because the Creator studio

classic is not going to be going anywhere even when the studio beta becomes the studio norm

So with that being said

ran four weeks of traffic four weeks of traffic so I went over to a weber and

Put all put this is around the last time that I haven't gone over my traffic so around December 14th

So I'm basically just put everything all the people that subscribe to my to my list after that. So we got 355 subscribers

now I

Have a few a few of these. Where were global profit system traffic

From free traffic strategies guys, so not everything is paid some are free traffic strategies for people who you know

who reach out to me through Facebook through email, you know, and they ask questions but um

basically

3:55 so I'm just gonna go ahead and just take off a few. I'm just gonna go ahead and do 350 -

The last few weeks at least so let's just go ahead and go with 350

So these past four weeks

One week I did 200. So let's go ahead and get at that 200 plus another week

I did 200 plus another week. I did 200 and then the latest week I did 300

So and this is my latest of my latest week over here 300 clicks and I got like what is that?

I think it's a like a 15% over delivery

340 clicks so

Yeah, so low the last week I did 300 clicks because the went over delivery is basically just to help out the opt-in percentage for

People who sell you solo ads solo ad vendor. That's that's what I use for a traffic solo

I don't use Facebook ads or Instagram or anything like that just purely solo ads

so yeah guys 900 and

I have

352 we're doing right I think so 352

Divided by 900 is

A 39% opt-in rate. Wow, that's really really good. That's pretty much a

40

Almost 40 percent opt-in rate guys, which is really really awesome. I'm always aiming for at least a 30% conversion

So that's really really good guys

let me just do the numbers again 352

Divided by just to make sure you're 900 clicks that I bought overall. Yeah guys

That's 39% So I'm really really happy overall. I got a 39% off

opt-in rate to

My list guys. So from all the traffic that I bought over 39 percent people of people opt-in guys, so that's really really good

That's a lot of people when you're accounting when it's nine hundred clicks in total. Of course that's over three hundred people. So

That's really really good guys. That's really the name of the game getting traffic to it

The marking system does everything for you it does all the selling and selling for you?

Most people that join don't even reach out to me

Honestly, the people that reach out to me and ask me questions and questions and questions

Usually don't join. They just kind of waste my time, but you know, that's fine

I'm happy to answer questions because you know, they might be in a tough situation at the moment

Maybe they're gonna join later on

I've had people who take the free trial with GDI and then then they don't become active then like two weeks

Later, sometimes even a month later. They just see that they randomly just became active

So sometimes people are you know gathering their stuff saving some money maybe possibly, you know, so just give them time and be patient

Found that you have to be very patient when you're doing business online guys. So yeah

It's just it's not it's not complicated at all guys

You just show people the system you get eyes in front of your offer and your offer if you have an offer that converts

hopefully you do that offer will just convert and this system just takes some step-by-step does all the selling and selling for you and

People just become active because they just see the value in it

They're like that so that also does happen guys. You really have to be, you know

Shooting through all cylinders, you have to be doing as much as you can guys

So but it's really not that complicated guys and the system shows you how to do everything

Shows you how to set up a list how to create a list, you know how to connect everything

So the first it's you know, it's it's a little it's a little more

It's not complicated at all. I just mean it takes a little bit of time to set it up. Not much time

But it takes a little bit of time to set it up and then after that you don't have to keep setting it up

And you do whatever type of marketing you you can do you feel comfortable with I like doing YouTube video

I I built this list from the ground up, you know with zero subscribers. I've been building it up

So I want to show you guys my results with this brand new list how many people I have on my team

Well, I'll just tell you I have I have over 20 people in my team right now

I got people taking trials, so I became a

Platinum director actually and within the company, so I'm really excited about that. I ranked up a pretty fast

So I'm no huge market guys. I'm some gigantic marketer with a list of hundreds of thousands of people

You know, I'm just somebody, you know coming up. I still work a 9 to 5 job

And I thought I want to leave behind that

I want to quit and I want to build residual income for myself so I can be able to quit my job guys

So that's what I'm working towards. It's things are looking great every month

My residual income is increasing, you know, so that's what we're looking for

You know, I don't wanna I'm not gonna tell you that I'm making

You know tens of thousands of dollars in my first month because that's you know

A lot of people like I do that kind of marketing like oh look, I've made $10,000 my first month

That's not really realistic for some money. If you're just getting started that's not realistic for you guys. It's not realistic for me either. So

that's not what my expects my expectations aren't like that my expectations are it's just lowly girl this over time with these

Legitimate companies that have been around for a long time that will be around for a long time to build some

So that's really that's really the best thing you can do guys to build some residual income that you can

Rely on every month guys. So and you just have to keep working the system and you will get there guys

You will get there because I've seen many people do it

I've seen other people that are doing it right now and I've seen people that are just starting to do it guys and it's really

Exciting and it's really really great guys. So I just, you know, I completely

Really and I'm enjoying my experience with the global profit system. It's converting really well for me

I promoted other things with pay traffic that didn't convert as well

That you know, not any bad companies out. There just didn't convert as well. So

So yeah guys, that's pretty much it global profit system review

Then I made two sales and three sales then and the thing is these cells are recurring

So everyone, you know you're making them. So yeah guys, that's how I've been doing

I got to one sale than five sales in 10,000 59:20 sales

And that's just how I've been doing you guys and it's been working out for me great

So that's why I'm making these videos sharing my results with you guys global profit system review

So you can kind of get an idea of what your possible results could be

I can't guarantee any results. But this is what my personal experience has been with the global profit system with solo eyes

4 Ways to Earn Money from Home (2019) | Easy Ways to Make Money

Hey everyone welcome back my name is Nate Valline with natevalline.com and in

this video i'm gonna show you four ways you can earn money from home in 2019 so

there's quite a bit of information i won't go over so i'm just gonna jump

right into it so the first method that i want to go over is something that you've

probably seen zipping around town and that's these lime electric scooters

pretty simple process that you can do with lime when you go to their website

you just go up to join us and then you can go to charge scooters and so what

you're doing you're not actually riding the skeeters but what you're doing is

charging the scooters so when you download the app

everything's GPS base and i'll tell you that the battery power on a scooter and

so when you see one that need is in need of being charged you go you pick it up

and take it home charge it up once it's fully charged you put it back out on the

street that simple so when you're sitting at home you might as well get

Dean might as well be paid for charging these scooters right so that simple get

paid right away and all you have to do to get started is fill out this quick

form and get going so the other one is also bird scooters it's very similar

concept you know it's Lyme's competitor but you can also go to charge with bird

and same thing you just do a quick signup you you get the Chargers and you

can charge scooters while you're sitting at home pretty nice so that's a very

easy way to make a couple extra bucks for not much work now the next method I

want to go over is a company called Tex broker and so what Tex broker does is it

brokers out writing jobs for you that you could sign up to do and make some

money writing content this could be copy research it could be whatever a post you

know definitely ranges in the variety of what you're writing now there is a hack

to this that I'll explain here in a little bit but just to kind of go over

it more you know it does pay pretty well for what you're doing doesn't take a lot

of time or effort and what happens is when you sign up you have to submit a

sample writing a piece of sample writing and it's either like one or two

paragraphs and you're graded on that sample and depending on that grade

you're you're given a quality rating and so at the lowest rating you would earn

0.7 cents per word at the highest rating you would earn five cents a word so at a

thousand if you were to write something a thousand word piece let's just do the

math times 0.05 you're gonna make 50 bucks so depending on how good of a

writer are you are you could knock out a thousand word piece of writing in no

time and make 50 bucks as long as you're at the highest quality rating but now

say what if you're not so now let me talk to you about this hack what if

you're not a strong writer or you you have a little bit of doubt of the

quality of your writing well something you can go to is a

company called fiber you may have heard about it but

what it is is it's a website that offers a lot of cheap inexpensive artistic

creative services and so you could come up to like writing

let's see let's go with some technical writing here as an example so scrolling

down here these are each different people that will do technical writing

for you so it starts as low as $5 and goes up from there depending on what you

need and who you're working with so one of the things you can do is come to

fiber hire someone to write your sample particle sample writing submit that make

sure you get a high rating out of the gate so that you're earning as much as

five cents per word and then that way you're starting on the top making the

most money at the start and so that way you know you're taking advantage of

everything that you can the most best best use of your time now from that

point on you know if you are someone that enjoys writing you could then take

over the writing after that and earn the money directly or again you could use

Fiverr and just hire them to create your articles but if you're to do that you

definitely need to crunch the numbers make sure that you're actually making

money you know if you're buying having hiring someone on Fiverr for five ten

bucks to write a piece of writing for you you'd want to make sure that you're

gonna earn at least double that I would imagine ten to twenty dollars to make it

worth it right so that that is another way now to be totally transparent these

first two methods I have not done so and I'll tell you why the line scooters and

bird scooters they're not in my where my house is I live in a small town they are

not here I have used the line scooters around Salt Lake City they're a lot of

fun to zip around the apps easy to use so I can only imagine that being a

tester and you are a charger using the app that way just as great

text broker the reason I haven't done it is I just honestly haven't had time to

invest myself into that and writing just has not been my thing but I have done a

little research on text broker I've looked in the Better Business Bureau

hard to say and as well as several reviews everything like that and it does

sound like it is a legit company people are having good experiences with it and

I am confident that what they say they will do they will do now with that you

know I recommend these as something to try out but again I haven't tried it

myself personally so hopefully you know have a terrible experience based on my

recommendation I don't think you will but just wanted to throw that out there

because I don't want to mislead you in any way

now this next method the third method that won't go over is something that I

am doing and that is user testing so what user testing is is there several

companies out there try MIUI is one and user testing calm is another but what

you do is you get signed up it's free to sign up as a tester and then you are

offered the ability to sample and provide your feedback on website tests

so new website new websites might or these tests might include your

impression as to how the website looks and feels and works they might be

testing out a certain aspect of their sales process or their membership site

different ways like that and try my UI and user testing there there might talk

to favorite that I'm you I have signed up for some others I've

been using user lytx calm I've also been doing user feel calm as well as what

users do calm so so far all five of them have been a great experience all very

similar and what they will do is if you go to get paid the test is typically

they will pay you about ten dollars for approximately 20 minutes of work so if

you were to do three of these in an hour that you're making $30 an hour so that's

not too bad as you know we're just putting aside an hour or so to do these

tests to give your feedback and narrate your experience with these they're they

pay you promptly after that typically through PayPal but again a great

experience a great way to make a little extra money without putting putting

forth a lot of time or effort and so that's exactly what these three first

three methods are it's just a way to make a couple extra bucks a couple

hundred bucks for a month without putting out a lot of time and effort

now this next way this next method the fourth method I'm going to go over is

gonna step it up quite a bit this is where you would really be able to make a

full time income online and from home and that's with affiliate marketing and

that's where my main focus is myself right now

and so with affiliate marketing what you're doing is you are selling other

people's products and services for Commission so as you you know introduce

prospects to them if they buy you get paid either a set dollar amount or

percentage of that of that price that they're buying

purchasing it at and so by doing this it's you can create a lot larger sum of

income as well something that's going to last long term and so when it comes to

affiliate marketing the quickest way you could get started

into it is through a website called Clickbank you may have heard of this you

can get signed up for free and when you once you create your free account you

get logged in this is a dashboard you go to the marketplace and here is where

they list out all the categories so different niches that you can search

proper products on and services and so depending on what neat Miche you are

working in you can find a product in there promote it directly you can take

the link right from here and start promoting it immediately either on like

your social media your website your YouTube channel or your email list

whatever at work whatever however you want to do it now if you really want to

be serious about it there is a proper way to structure your affiliate

marketing business and I've done a video on that and I'll link to that video if

you want to check that out but again the best way if you're wanting

to do a make a full time income online doing affiliate marketing really what

you want to do is create or find a affiliate marketing system and what does

that mean by a system well that means that you're promoting a primary product

that you can get plugged into and when as you're putting out effort promoting

that one product you then are also having the ability to earn multiple

streams of income on like-minded products to that primary product to earn

you additional sources of income and so that way for each visitor put in they're

getting shown three four five different product offers which then

ups your chance to convert to a sale and earn a commission and also gives you

that chance to really grow and create a full time income so what I'll do is I'll

earning full-time income and excuse me earning full-time income with affiliate

Harry Potter Dolls Ron & Ginny Weasley by Mattel - Duration: 6:40.

hello my WI friends! remember how we were so excited when Mattel came out with a

line of Harry Potter dolls, and in our previous videos we unboxed Harry Potter

for you? we reviewed Minerva McGonagal,l and we

even showed you how to make your own DIY quick broom for the dolls. Well, today we

are going to add Ron Weasley and Ginny Weasley. and they even happen to be on

sale in the clearance section of our local Walmart. well of course we couldn't

pass them up. so let's get them out for a closer look. and and here they are!

I think Mattel did such a wonderful job with their likenesses. take Ron for

instance. look how they captured that good-natured sparkle and smile on his

face. they really did a nice job. and then look at Ginny...

the only real difference is is that they parted her hair down the middle versus

the side. but I think they really captured her facial features really

quite well. now the back of the box for Ron Weasley explains him like this...

fellow Gryffindor Ron Weasley quickly becomes Harry's first friend at Hogwarts.

with the shock of ginger hair and good natured humor it is Ron's loyalty that

makes him an instrumental ally in the quest to defeat Lord Voldemort. so here

is Ron. they've captured his red hair, his smirky kind of grin, he's got his wand

he's got his traditional sweater and slacks, and then the tie shoes. for Ginny

the back of the box says Ginny Weasley is Ron Weasley's younger sister and a

fellow Gryffindor. during her first year she falls victim to Tom Riddle's diary

and falls under the control of the Dark Lord. so here are Ginny's shoes. as you

can see right here they have even the detail of the soles on them. very nice!

she's got the tall knee-high socks, the pleated skirt, the sweater

and the tie, and then, of course, like we discussed before her hair is parted down

the middle versus on the side. which kind of gives our a little bit more of her

older look as during as the movies go on, versus the side part of her younger

years. now if you'll notice look at their wands. they went so far as to give each

of them their unique wand that is a really nice attention to detail. now as

you can see for packaging, they go ahead and they they elastic the wands under

their hands. but they do have a thumb hold for them so you can, you know, put

them on the thumb and then remove them so when they're not carrying their wands.

and look at the detail they put into their hands. their hands are even

different. with Ginny they have like her fingers are in motion and Ron's are a

bigger hand of a more of a boy like look. and they are articulated in

the head which moves. and it does give kind of a nice range of motion so you

can give them a different look and a different pose. they're jointed in the

the shoulder and in the elbow and then at the wrist which is really really nice

and then they also have joints at the knees and at the hip.

I love the added articulation that they give this line of dolls. now if you'll

notice their size difference even. they even made Ron a little bit taller

than Ginny. Ginny is going to be the actually the shortest in the line. and

you can tell that even as far as their robes... they have their robes and their

robes are actually... see the difference in size?

Ginny's is actually shorter than Ron's. so if we go ahead and we bring in Harry

Potter, he's actually just a little bit smaller than Ron but still taller than

Ginny. and then if we bring in Professor McGonagall you can see she's even taller

than the rest. she's more of an actual Mattel Barbie height. I liked how they

kept her into more of the adult size. and then these three.. more into the students

size. they truly put a lot of thought and detail into representing each

personality. very well so here are the characters that they have made so far...

they've done Harry Potter, Hermione Granger,

Ron Weasley, Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall, and of course, it shows here

on Ron's box, Ginny, as well. so the ones we don't have yet are Hermione Granger

and Albus Dumbledore. hmm we may have to see what we can do about that. we're very

glad that you have finally arrived. you may want to get on your robes psst! Ginny!

what on earth! is that the mu....? yes! Monica! remember I'm Monica? uh-huh oh yes

I do remember. what is it exactly that you are doing here again Monica? ww...well

Stephen had to make a sudden appearance again. and and then I saw

Ginny here. yes yes professor, I met Monica in town with Stephen. Oh

truly I think she's harmless. well miss Monica, what is it that you need? well I

was kind of hoping since you know I had a pretty good experience with the broom

the last time, I was hoping that maybe I could have a try at the wand. Oh gracious

no! oh professor you are so funny. there's nothing to be worried about . oh

dear! where Monica's concerned there might be

just a little bit to worry about. but we are super happy to add in Ginny and Ron
