Youtube daily report w Jan 17 2019

Salutations everybody! Welcome back to the vlog the vertical vlog this is the

vertical vlog!

and I have to tell you I am so excited to be home I am no longer in Houston

because while I'm home I'm I live in Austin not Houston got a little bit of a

cold you could hear the sniffles but a big reason why saying that I'm home

means so much to me is because I haven't had a home in a very long time let me explain

that was in the same place wasn't it. I don't know if you've noticed but for the

past three to four months I haven't been like shooting in my garage studio as you

as you can see...

*Coughing*

This is gonna be a hard one. I haven't been shooting in my garage to do as you

can see and I haven't been in there in a while because we sold that house and we

no longer lived there so now I am here in the brand-new home but before here I

lived with my father-in-law and my mother-in-law I didn't have anywhere to

shoot I had so many videos to make so yeah for the past three or four months

I've been living with my in-laws for the purpose of this house needless to say

I'm super excited that I now have my own space spaces by the way today you're my

new office which is really awesome we've got the desk in here so that's cool

obviously the computer is needing to be a computer because well I got a lot of

stuff to do but I'm super excited about the space because a lot of tutorials and

live streams are gonna happen right here figure up tutorials if you wondered how

I'm doing this right here and how I do my transitions and that way actually

just wrapped up this tutorial on how to do that for my patrons I have a patreon

they're gonna learn it it's awesome those are my bros I don't have any bro

ATS yet so if you're a girl who wants to support vert and me be the first bro

head anyway link is in the description and somewhere else check out the patreon

a lot of cool exclusive stuff there that'll be super awesome to have you as

a patron as a hashtag Bert grow and grow act moving on to the other space because

I'm really excited about this one because it's pretty much just for you

let's go check it out this is the studio

yes as you can see it's not much right now it's just full of my junk that we

just moved in diapers and my son's Mickey Mouse backpack it's fun cute

story that's actually his gear backpack but he wants to imitate what I'm doing

right there so he has his little guy where he puts like a bunch of like

little stuff cute okay so check it home slices you

can have to use your imagination just like I'm doing here because this is just

an empty room with a bunch of junk right now but let me show you what the plans

are we're outside the room now this wall right here is going to be the backdrop

I'm gonna paint it matte black I'm gonna put hashtag dirt logo right on there and

then this wall right here is going to be a projector I'm gonna strictly put

nothing but vert so I'm gonna take a projector screen and I'm gonna flip it

vertically so I can watch berkel stuff here your guys are content my content

and you know whoever else said I like vertically and flip it up you can see

it's already fitted to do so I don't know what I'm gonna call this thing we

get the vert studio like that doesn't sound like cool I don't know the

vertical like hmm I don't know I'll figure it out

you can help me if you have an idea comment below let's move on to today's

discussion okay I want to divulge exactly what the hashtag vert blog is

all about that's a little blown out right hey Siri turn off office lamp okay

it's just so cool okay let's talk about the reason why I'm making a vertical

vlog first off I feel like it's 2015 again and Casey Neistat is contemplating

whether or not he wants to start a proper daily vlog on his birthday on

YouTube so I've decided starting today my 34th birthday I'm going to make a

movie every day so you can see in Casey's first vlog that he is

contemplating whether or not he wants to start this thing he doesn't know how

he's gonna do it what he's gonna talk about yes I'm starting a proper and

daily vlog I'm psyched he found that invigorating and I'm

finding this invigorating too so that's why I started it because I mean yes

there are people doing vertical vlogs but as someone who is trying to bring

awareness to vertical video and build a community around people who just want to

make things outside of the box color outside of the lines stuff like that it

was only fitting that I started vertical vlog cuz I felt it was the best way to

practice what I preach and since you're watching this on both AG TV and YouTube

you can see that I am contemplating and trying to see what platform this works

best on obviously right now I do TV is kind of like the preferred vertical

platform but YouTube is so well formatted for this and I have a very

very big feeling that YouTube in 2019 is gonna be a lot more vertical friendly in

regards to the community of birth right now it really is it all I can tell you

it is really fun doing and that a theme of the day is what it's all about so I

encourage you to do what you love to do and have fun doing it whether it's vert

whether it's cooking whether it's showing your studio with a bunch of junk

and the spider-man toy stop it you're the boss of your own content and you're

the boss of your own creativity which is awesome I think one of the last reasons

why this is so awesome and why I started this is because it gives me a cooler

better fresher platform to do collaborations with you guys with

sponsors with brands but mainly with you guys what am I talking about you'll see

soon a good example is actually what you saw in the beginning of this video with

prestigious minds that apparel company I've partnered with them and have become

their first brand ambassador cool but more importantly prestigious minds

mission statement is well got to me look at the affluent people throughout

generations Albert Einstein Thomas Edison Benjamin Franklin not Benjamin

Brandon that's me Steve Jobs and figures today like Elon

Musk my point is you gotta think in a different perspective in a different way

for you to achieve all that they have done and it's crazy because that's

exactly what hashtag Burt is all about to opening up your mind in a 9 by 16

aspect ratio what am I doing with this fika I have no idea I really just don't

know what a pudding anyway my beautiful her friends I will

leave you at that but next week's vlogs are gonna be so cool because I will be

out of town yet again but in a really cool

it's that you'll just have to see when you come back to this flow the vertical

wall do me a favor though real quick before you leave smash that like button

if you're on YouTube if you're watching this on IG TV hit that little heart

which is I think it's right here follow me on Instagram for more ittv

vlogs just like this and please subscribe to me on youtube because that

will mean so much and i my beautiful fur friends we'll see you on the next

vertical vlog or if you're on youtube whatever else i feel like making

tutorials coming soon all here in this space and soon to be upstairs once i get

the studio ready I'm out I'll see you later

i shaved my head! - Duration: 7:32.

hi I'm Ashton. surprise, I shaved my head! some of you aren't gonna be surprised

because I posted this on Instagram when I did it but um I took a video of me

shaving my head so I'm gonna put that in here but I am also gonna talk a little

bit about why I did it because all the responses were either like you look

great or why so let's get into the why a little bit I guess so for a long time I

wanted to like grow my hair out from where it was because this is just a me

thing but I think guys with long hair are really fucking hot so I wanted to be

that so I started growing it out as you can probably see in the last couple of

videos on my channel and I got to like here and I still had this shaved side and

then the back was also like shorter because of the way that my haircut was

before it was just really difficult to grow out from that way, and I was also

getting misgendered more often and uh I love having longer hair like it's really

fun for me but it was giving me a lot of social dysphoria because I wasn't

passing and I don't know if I'll pass better now I think I probably will just

because this is like such a masculine aligned haircut so if you watched my new

year's goals video, one of my goals was to experiment more with my hair so this

is an experiment I like being an egg I am enjoying myself so far it's very soft

it's so much fun to stim with. and it's not something I've ever done before

and like I like doing things that I've never done before I like having that

adrenaline rush and boy did I get an adrenaline rush

so I decided last Friday to do it and then on Saturday I did it and it wasn't

too big of a deal my mother screamed which was intense

but it's because I didn't tell her and I should have looking back on it I know

know not all of you are gonna like it, it's the Internet

but you'll get used to it I've been getting a really positive response so

far from everyone in my life and I'm really having fun with it, I'm an egg I'm

a good egg and I love life. I'm gonna feel it out for a while see how it feels

maybe shave it shorter once it grows out a bit or maybe I'll just grow it out

straight from here I just feel like it would be easier to grow it out from this

length and it would with like half my head shaved and then like the back

shorter than the front and then like just growing out one of them and then

like awkwardly having the mullet phase, you know? I'm also hoping that this will

give me more of a chance to explore other ways of presenting my

self other ways of self-expression because I feel like with so many people

like seeing a shaved head as super masculine I might be seen as more of a

man now as shitty as that is I'm hoping that with the shaved head I will pass a

little bit better which will allow me to more comfortably explore other aspects

of my gender expression like in a couple recent videos so for an eyeliner which I

end up really enjoying like I like how I look with eyeliner on I haven't done it

with a shaved head yet but I feel like that would be a cool kind of combination

of expressions for me that I'll enjoy hopefully I want to be able to pass and

avoid social dysphoria while still being able to present myself as I want to and

I feel like this could help with that as much as I enjoyed having a side shave

and longer hair I've been through that before I'd had that haircut before and I

wanted to try something new so here we are so I mentioned that I've been

thinking about this in the video where I attempt to go full masc which a lot of

you seem to like so thanks for enjoying that I'm glad you did but I mentioned

shaving my head in that and a lot of comments were like do it shave your head

go for it. so I was like like you know what, this is the encouragement I need this is the

supportive audience that we all know and love so I did I went for it as you can

tell so when I told you guys on Instagram I made like one of those

little question boxes that was and I was like I did something drastic guess what

I did and like 90% of you guessed that I shaved my head so good job you all know

me really well um a lot of you a couple of you also guessed that I got a

piercing which I haven't yet but I turn 18 in less than a month

so a couple of people guessed that I moved in with Jack but no he goes to college

and I still go to high school so not yet but I think the comment that truly

convinced me was um Finn the Ace said that they're in support in the statement

every single goddamn person should experience shaving their own head at

least once in their life and now that I've experienced that I would say that's

absolutely true please do it it's so much fun I had such a good time and now

that I feel like I've talked about it for long enough I'm gonna show you the

process of me shaving my head so here we go here's me shaving my head have fun

watching that it begins

that's significantly shorter already geez

oh that's really soft I wish I

could like use my hair for something it's not long enough to donate but I

have donated my hair three times in my life before so this is like since this

is the longest I can go I am trying to get all the big chunks off so there's

not like a shit ton of hair this is terrifying oh my god there's so much

hair I kind of do like it short like this but we're going all the way I'm not

stopping here aaaaaaaAA that's my hair oh my god

I'm just sitting in the bath because I hate having like hair all over my body after I shave

my head well not shave my head because I haven't done that before, but after I get a

haircut um so I'm gonna shave my head then I'm gonna like immediately shower

and then I'll see you after that here we go I'm starting at a 5

ah there's still so much like this is this is so difficult

oh there's hair everywhere I didn't even realize I had this much fuckin hair

it's so thick but I'm thriving this is great

I said this year my name one of my new year's resolutions was to be more

experimental with my hair, so I guess this is that. this is genuinely one of the

most freeing things I have ever experienced

like I'm having a good time Oh oh my god I think that's it anyways that's the

video it's a quick one, but when I posted that I shaved my head on Instagram

everybody was like please tell me you filmed it so here it is you're welcome

now you get to see me having so much fun if you have any comments or questions

feel free to leave them in the comments below I'm not going to make like a Q&A

based on this but I'm gonna answer as many comments as I can so feel free to

do that if you would like to you I feel like I've been talking with my hands so

much in this video I wish that all of you could come and like rub my head

because it's so soft and I'm genuinely enjoying it so so much but that's not

realistic so anyways goodbye if you've never experienced shaving your head in

your life I would recommend it it was a good time I'm having a good time I'm

thriving and I'll talk to you later maybe

Stunt Bike Build Series | Episode 5 | Wheel Stickers - Duration: 5:57.

Hi guys! It's everything good with you?

Welcome to another video.

Here we have the painted wheels as you have seen in the last video.

by Brás&Filho

I've shown you before that I've received the wheel stickers

Let's now see what is the work for today

Here they are, they came from SZFAZCAR

These are from the same store of the cage.

I think I will use a sub cage from the same store. Stay tuned.

Let's see what we have here....

I painted the wheels in white and for that reason

I will put this stickers in blue and red

because I will think that will look great

It will become a tricolor wheel

My cat "PIPOCA" wants to appear in the video

now look to this detail

F4i

These ones are for the rear wheel

and these for the front wheel

To glue them you will need

alcohol

You need to clean the wheels

The wheels just arrived from paint so they are pretty clean, but I will use the alcohol to take any dust from them

But you will need to clean very well your wheels before applying the stickers

and use a soft cloth with alcohol

and let the alcohol evaporate

and then you can apply the stickers

Let's start with the front wheel

as you can see, it was very clean.

You will need a scissor to cut this stripes individually

because you need to have them separated so you can apply them

So, how do we apply this?

we have to turn it upside down

we need to let the sticker in the "TRANSFER" <- In the transparent part

you can place it gently above the wheel to check if its well aligned

and then if it's correctly placed you can swipe your finger on it before you remove the TRANSFER

I think that is well aligned

Let's just adjust this side

I will now press it slowly

The "Honda" it's already glued

Now to finish I will press here the stripes

you can use your finger or if you prefer you can use a soft cloth

just to check if it's glued well

Now we start removing carefully the TRANSFER

you can see how it looks

let's continue

I didn't told you before but I have to

before you glue all the stripes

it's better to align them all

so you can check the space between them

I just place there the red stripe

I will cut the other stripes

for me to see how much space I have to use between them

in this case, I have to have a space of around 2 cm

and they will be well aligned

Do you like?

That's all folks!

In the next video, you will see the look of the wheels with the tires

Please visit the SZFAZCAR website, the link is in the description

Like their facebook page, link is also in the description

Don't forget to follow me on instagram

I will share there all the new stuff that is arriving for the CBR

See you in the next video!

Almost forgot... Don't forget to activate the youtube notifications.

Just press that little bell near the subscribe button so you get notified when I upload a new video.

CHASE ADAMS and KICKSTRADOMIS take over Chicago! | GAME CITY EP.02 | Champs Sports x Mars Reel - Duration: 4:28.

(beep)

(dramatic music)

- [Chase] Basketball has just been a part

of my whole family.

My dad played.

My big brother played.

It was a no brainer that I was gonna play.

- [Kickstradomis] Playin in Chicago is the toughest city

to play in and I've played all over.

- [Voice Over] They really ball.

We gotta ball, all day, know what I'm sayin?

- [Chase] This is one of the only options.

So you gotta get out and get in and that's on that court.

As a basketball player, your shoe is a big part of,

you know, like, your identity.

In Chicago, the first thing you look at is, like,

the person's feet.

I'm Chase Adams from Chicago, Illinois

and I play basketball.

- [Kickstradomis] I'm Kickstradomis from

Los Angeles, California and I paint kicks for a living.

(♪I live alone so I treat like my children♪)

(♪Lay money told stack them Bens to the ceiling♪)

(♪I switch my swag up, can't you tell the difference♪)

- [Kickstradomis] I think it's a confidence thing.

You can step out in sweats and a Tee, but,

if you match it up right with the right shoes,

you still gonna have that confidence.

You don't need the top high end stuff, you know what I mean,

you just make it look good.

Sup bro?

- What's good?

- [Kickstradomis] Keep it nice and warm, huh?

- [Chase] Yeah, for sure.

- [Kickstradomis] I can feel the heat.

- [Chase] Turn that light on.

- [Kickstradomis] Oh yeah, what you got in here?

I see you got the Timbs right there.

Yeah, this is nuts.

You stop the show with these.

Bro, you rock these outside.

- Yeah, them is the prom joint.

- [Kickstradomis] I remember those.

LA version, the Chicago version.

- [Chase] Yeah, I think we got the hottest ones' though.

My best friend big brother that past, Saieed Ivey,

he was big on FINAO, like, failure's not an option.

Like, he came to my crib and I was just like,

you got it yo, FINAO all over the shoe.

That Saieed Ivey, baby.

- [Sondale] Me, him and my brother always went by FINAO,

since we was young.

- [Chase] He always used to talk about, how like,

how we gonna push through.

We gonna get past anything we going through and

we gonna make it and be successful.

Saieed was his big brother.

That always just stuck with us.

That's us making sure that he didn't die in vain.

- [Sondale] Nike making the shoe, you know,

it holds a lot of value.

You know what I'm sayin?

People cherish, it more like.

It can ease a lot of pain.

You can just actually look at a shoe and

it put a smile on your face because

it comes with so much meaning.

Here I got the little tattoo man.

- [Kickstradomis] Oh, there you go.

- [Sondale] FINAO tattoo.

- [Kickstradomis] There you go bro.

- [Sondale] Failure is not an option, man,

you know what I'm sayin?

FINAO.

(dramatic music)

- [Coach] I've had hundreds of ball players.

People look at me like a big brother, uncle,

father type figure.

Ball is really life in Chicago.

Like, man, if you ain't playin ball, you know,

in Chicago's eyes your really not important.

- You make it here with basketball in Chicago,

you can make it anywhere.

For real, for real.

- [Sondale] It's cliche, but it's for real.

(female vocalists)

- [Chase] You see, like, people in the NBA that

wear those exclusive kicks on the court in Chicago.

We try to emulate that, you know, throw on our heat.

(car driving)

- Yo.

- Coming inside, bro.

- [Chase] You've probably, like, fixed

some of the oldest J's.

- [Clerk] Yeah and sometimes dudes bring me

some of those shoes and their cramming them for, like,

25 years in their closet, type stuff.

There, like, man these are OG's.

Man, I wanna get these fixed.

And they're about to crumble.

- [Chase] We went to the Fix My Kicks Shop.

- [Clerk] You put the patch right there.

Then we're gonna put this patch right here.

- [Kickstradomis] We saw some iconic pairs from, like,

'85 and stuff.

These the old ones, the patent leather.

You're a lot lower on the dip right here.

Now there trying to get real high.

- [Clerk] You need this in your collection

if you a sneaker fan.

- [Chase] Especially, here in Chicago, right?

- Absolutely. - That's some crazy shit, huh?

- The best a letter, all time.

- [Chase] That just touches on Jordan's greatness.

Jordan's greatness is never gonna go down.

- [Coach] Jordans is beyond the shoe to have.

That's the way of life.

You gotta rock with it.

Now, I remember the posters used to come out

and got his wings.

He's doin his thing, know what I'm sayin.

- [Narrator] Some people think it's just like paint,

putting it on there, but it's not.

Details, you know, people love seeing it,

you actually putting it on.

Your passion into it.

Your heart into it.

Same thing with Chase, when he plays ball, his vision

of what he's gonna do and it's a vision that we have.

- [Kickstradomis] So I was givin these Air Force One

Low Tops to do a Chicago theme.

The first thing that came to mind was the light blue,

white and red from the flag.

- [Chase] The one's that show something different then

the rest of 'em is the one's that get the scholarships.

- [Kickstradomis] To get noticed, you gotta be different.

- [Chase] You gotta have your, you know, your flare.

Your own little touch.

Something that makes you stand out.

(low rumble)

First CAR-T patient at Penn State Cancer Institute - Duration: 5:28.

>> Let us pray.

Oh, God who caused the minds of the faithful to unite in a single purpose, grab your --

>> My name is Tim Card.

I've been married to my wife Tricia for almost 20 years.

We have seven kids.

The oldest is 18; the youngest is five.

We live here in Mount Joy.

We've lived here for 11 years now.

Come on.

Bring it in.

>> I'm not throwing it that far.

>> Throw it to me.

Throw it.

Yes.

Give me another.

Hit me again.

Yeah.

It kind of felt surreal like it felt like an out of body experience like this isn't

happening to me.

This can't be right.

I am 40 years old.

I'm in the best shape of my life, so there's no way I have cancer.

This is silly.

It's something else.

This is something else.

Every rung you go down the ladder, your chances of beating this get less and less.

We've done R-CHOP.

We've done two rounds of that salvage chemo.

I've done a round of radiation.

And it keeps coming back, and it keeps not responding to the treatment very well.

CAR-T came into play because the type I have is called diffuse large B cell non-Hodgkin's

lymphoma, and that's one of the specific types of cancer that CAR-T fights.

>> Forty percent of all non-Hodgkin's lymphoma are diffuse large B cell lymphoma.

And that is one of the most common type and the one that the -- the type that is very

aggressive and sometimes have difficulty treating.

>> The CAR-T is taking Tim's lymphocytes out of him and that's done through a process called

apheresis.

So he had to have a special catheter put into his chest to allow us to get adequate blood

flows for the machine to get the lymphocytes out of him.

Those cells are then shipped out to California to the Kite Pharmaceutical Company manufacturing

plant.

They are infected with the viruses that hold -- that have certain sequences that we're

trying to convert Tim's lymphocytes to and that they then have to be grown up to sufficient

quantity.

That process takes about 17 days.

>> All right.

Thank you.

I'll see you next week.

>> Yeah.

I think I'm going to be doing it on Monday.

>> Okay.

>> He then came in on a Sunday and on Monday at 1:00 we took those -- a little frozen bag

of cells, thawed those, and then infused that over about 30 minutes time.

>> Hand this to you, we're gonna check your band here

Is that a meal voucher?

>> This is Timothy Card.

Date of birth 4/19

>> This is definitely the hardest thing I've ever done.

Hands down.

Hands down the hardest thing I've ever done.

[ Music ]

I think a lot of it was just because it was condensed.

It was in such a short timeframe like 17 days from start to finish.

By the time I got in to the time I got out was 17 days.

But it was a really bad 17 days.

I felt like there was no rest from it.

There was no relief.

It was just [inaudible] coming for that whole time.

As I said, it was hard.

It was very physically/emotionally very demanding.

>> This is right where the problem was right there.

>> Okay.

>> And this -- I don't see -- you know, there may always be residual abnormality and that

technically is then [inaudible] remission.

>> Okay.

>> The spot that was there before that was bright is gone but to my eye, this looks all

very good.

>> I really had a hard time believing it.

We've been so primed for bad news for so long.

Good news is kind of unexpected.

We didn't really know what to do with it.

I believe it was November 16th.

It was the first day I got on my bike.

I said I'm going to get better now.

I'm not just going to recover.

I'm going to get better.

I'm going to start working back to where I was before I got sick.

That's really where I want to be.

I want to be close to where I was at before I got sick, and I had to start some place.

>> We are very proud.

And we are very happy that we are able to bring in this new treatment strategy to this

area.

And we are very happy that we are actually treating these patients.

They are getting better.

>> The nurses, the staff, everybody at Hershey Medical was phenomenal and I just -- from

the moment I walked through the door, you know from the greeters and the valet all the

way to the docs, like everybody was just incredible.

And I can't thank them enough for saving my life.

i shaved my head!

Michael Cohen Hired IT Firm To Rig Online Polls For Trump - Duration: 4:42.

So big news out today about Michael Cohen, Donald Trump's former lawyer slash fixer,

and that is the Cohen allegedly paid and it from a run by somebody from Liberty University,

the Falwell Organization, uh, to skew in rig, online polling, in order to favor Donald Trump.

Here's what happened.

According to the reports here and the documents, everything has been disclosed, including the

guy who worked at the it firm who came forward with all of this because he's mad he didn't

get paid the 50,000 he was owed in 2014.

Cohen reached out to him and said, hey, there's this CNBC online poll that is trying to get

people to tell the 100 best business leaders in the United States.

And I want Donald Trump to be on this list.

I want them to be number one.

Well, the guy at the it from writes this algorithm that is supposed to just repeatedly vote for

Donald Trump in this online poll to help rig it and put Donald Trump at the top.

Here's what's funny, is this guy who was supposed to get paid 50,000 for this and the other

pole a wasn't even able to get Donald Trump into the top 100.

He didn't even make it even after cheating.

Then later on February 2015, there was a drudge report online poll asking Republicans who

they want to see as they're a candidate slash nominee for the 2016 election.

Cohen did the same thing.

Hey, you did such a bang up job getting Trump and the top 100 for CNBC, which he didn't

actually do.

He failed to do a.

So how about you rigged this online poll?

So it shows that everybody wants Donald Trump to run for president.

Guy Does the same thing.

Uh, and Trump I think makes it to number five, couldn't even crack number one, still even

after cheating.

But the reason all of this is coming to light is because the it guy who did all this did

not get paid the full 50,000 that Cohen promised him instead.

And I have to read this Cohen reportedly handed him a blue Walmart bag containing between

12,000 and 13,000 in cash and randomly a boxing glove that Mr Cohen said had been warned by

a Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter.

So the dude gets a walmart bag filled with cash and a used boxing glove that may or may

not have been used by some MMA fighter in another country, possibly if Cohen is to be

believed, but that's not even the weirdest part of the story.

Here's the weirdest part, and that is the Michael Cohen paid this guy, in addition to

trying to rig the two online polls, which he failed to do, he paid them to set up a

twitter account.

Women for Cohen that was designed it's purpose was to just tout the sexual prowess of Michael

Cohen.

I wish I didn't have to say those words.

I wish this were parody, but it is not as part of the deal like you rigged this pole,

you rig this pole.

Could you also just create a twitter account that says I'm a stud in bed.

That would be bad ass, right?

That is what Michael Cohen did.

That is a thing that happened and it also raises some very serious legal questions because

as we know, Michael Cohen got reimbursed by the Trump organization to the tune of $50,000

for it work.

And this all comes full circle.

Yes, it is tied back to Donald Trump because they gave him the full $50,000.

He didn't pay out the full 50,000, which to be honest, the guy didn't deliver what he

was supposed to deliver.

You probably could have renegotiated at that point, but instead Cohen pockets the money,

Trump paid him the money that he pocketed.

He strips the other guy.

So in a lot of ways he's become like a little Donald Trump jr jr at this point.

But either way, this is bad for Trump.

This is bad for Michael Cohen.

Um, and it shows that there were no links that Michael Cohen was not willing to go to

in order to help Donald Trump win the presidency.

That's the key takeaway.

Michael Cohen was willing to do whatever it took, even if it was shady, possibly even

if it were illegal.

And that tells us a lot more about what Cohen may have known and may have told to the special

prosecutor's office.

Our Biggest Financial Learnings of 2018 - Duration: 22:05.

Twenty 18 has been a mammoth year for both of us.

Right.

We made it.

We made it through 2018.

I'm still alive.

We're still alive.

We're still kicking, you know, we're still doing our thing.

We learned a lot in 2018.

So many different things.

We learnt so much about finances, about business, about investing 2018.

It's been a beat.

Yeah.

And so today we wanted to share our biggest financial earnings of 2018.

I'm excited about this one man because it's been a really reflective year for me.

It's also been a year with so many projects and so much change.

So there's some cool stuff and I'm really glad you made me reflect.

I feel like it's really good time to reflect.

Obviously it's the end of the year.

I got some big changes happening in my life moving to Sydney, thinking about the future

and so I've been doing a lot of reflecting into now enforcing youtube as well.

Yeah, it's really good to reflect.

I'm shocking at it generally, but I think with reflection comes learnings and then pace

and also a better plan for the future.

Yeah.

And that's where we want to get you guys.

Do we hope that in sharing those learnings with you, you'll learn them also and you'll

be in a better position moving forward and be able to make better financial decisions

as well.

So why don't you start us off.

What's one thing you learn in 2018?

Yeah.

So the biggest thing I learned this year is that things change.

Um, you know, like, I don't know about you, but it feels like almost every person that

I've talked to, clients, you friends, my family have just had a huge year.

Like, I don't know if it was something out of about 28, eight something in the water,

in the water in Mudgee or something.

It's like impacted all of Australia, but it feels like 28 and was a big year with a lot

of change for a lot of people.

And so I've been uncomfortable with change in the past even though my life is constant

change.

But I think I've found my place in that a little bit this year.

And it's been really powerful to just acknowledge that things ebb and flow.

One thing that I've been working on this year is letting go of control a little bit and

also realizing that everything in life has seasons, sometimes your training heaps and

that would be the season of summer.

Sometimes you don't feel like doing anything and that's more the season of winter and that's

the case for relationships for business and when you start to think about things in that

way, it takes a lot of the pressure off stuff.

You know what I mean?

Yup.

And I think realizing that things change as well.

That kind of leads into my biggest learning for the year.

One of my biggest learnings is that passive income assets are so key because I have invested

in passive income assets and built them in terms of my online businesses and when things

got tough this year and when finances got rough, those passive income assets saved my

life.

Just having knowing that that consistent money is coming in that you can depend on, that

you can rely on in those hard times.

It was just so important versus other investments I made like I invest in cryptocurrency

and obviously lost some money in there which I made a whole other video about, but that

doesn't generate passive income and so when that goes down in value or even when that's

just sitting there, it's not generating any passive income and it's not helping my life.

Whereas investing in passive income really does and so what I love is about those assets

that pay for themselves and extra no matter what's changing in your life.

If you don't really well, you can buy more of them, but if things go badly, they're so.

They're paying for themselves so you don't have to sell them and then they pay for your

life as well.

Searching the, because I was reading some crisis yesterday, writing a some of their

clients, and I write a quote from Robert Kiyosaki am Warren Buffett and both of them basically

said that in.

It's not truly an asset unless it's providing you the passive income and I never thought

about that, but those guys have gone through so many cycles now.

Good and bad.

That the only thing that you can actually control these be man in passive income you

have coming through for life.

Yeah.

And so moving forward, I'll continue to focus on that.

I can, I focused on it in the past then kind of lost track of it, but now I'll be focusing

on moving forward.

So what's your next one?

Um, a family.

She, because it has been the most productive year of my life from an output in a results

perspective.

Like this year I've moved times.

I've renovated my home, I've done my first subdivision project, sold one the piece of

land build a house and a granny flat on another one.

So three or four properties this year as well.

So the business moved offices in the business three times.

Like it's been a fucking crazy chaotic year.

Like I live with my inlaws for four months while I renovated the house.

Just so much shit has gone down.

Um, you know, I've just realized that in one year you can do so much more than you think

you can.

And the thing that's funny about this is opened up my notes on my phone, which I haven't looked

at since February and every single one of the goals that I set at the front of the year,

like are you talking about intention setting in the video we just did.

I set the intention at the start of the unit.

All of those projects would happen like there's nothing that we did that I didn't have on

my goals this year and next year I'm just going to be a bit more aware of that and maybe

just a little bit less, but you can do so much more than you expect in one year and

over five years your entire life can transform.

And I never want to acknowledge the power of that.

Again.

Like so much can change in a short period of time for the better.

If you're focused and you work your plan and I think I'm going to bounce off that as well

with the idea that you don't need to be financially free to change your life.

And this idea that we came up with this year of buying foundational properties and those

properties will eventually go on to pay themselves off and make you financially free.

That's just like, whoa.

That blew my mind, man.

I wish you had thought of it 10 years ago.

The thing is, we talked about it years ago when I. I remember being on the phone to you

and you freaking it out however you want to your session.

One of our therapy sessions talking about investing and I'm like, okay, let's just stop.

If you look at your portfolio, is it going to do what it needs to do?

Like is it going to pay itself off?

You're like, yes.

Once it pays itself off where you have enough income to be financially free, like, yes,

do you need that money now?

You're like, no.

I'm like, okay, well you're going to get there.

It's gonna happen eventually.

Anyway, and that was the light bulb moment, but then it took us another six or 12 months

before we're able to communicate that to be acquiring the properties is the key step properties

that pay for themselves.

And that can pay themselves off and then those properties go on to create financial freedom

for you.

So it's not this 15 years long of trying to get to financial freedom.

It's a couple of years of working diligently, saving like a madman or mad woman and buying

those foundational properties and then they can pay themselves off and then you're afraid

to get on live your life.

It's a powerful man.

Like it is the most powerful concept that I've honestly ever heard of in the property

space.

Like you need to change the way that I think about everything and it takes so much pressure

off.

Like I've put a lot of pressure on myself in the past to get the financial freedom,

but I didn't have this strategy where I can go buy the houses and the granny flats and

just allow them to pay themselves off while I lived my life and enjoyed it.

Knowing that I will get to where I wanted to base.

I'm very empowered.

Many, you wouldn't have to work in a job you hate for 15 years or anything like that.

And so exciting.

Talking to Simon and hearing about clients have pumped on property that this is really

resonating with them.

They're buying their properties or they bought them and then they're gonna change their lives.

They're going to finish that job they hate or they're going to move to the sunshine coast

or the just exciting things that are going to be doing.

So yeah, another one for me was creating a plane and then working that plan and that's

been a huge and powerful lesson for me.

Like I'm really good at setting goals and then reviewing those goals and working towards

them.

And this year I really set some big goals at the start of the year.

Had absolutely no idea how I can achieve them or what I was gonna do, but I've, you know,

I've looking back now, I've worked pretty hard to achieve that and I'm proud of that

work.

I just, like I said, looking forward to next year, we'll probably take the foot off the

gas a little bit from that perspective.

My next learning is that I think business is the shortcut to wealth.

I think when you're investing in property, you're looking at a 10, 15 year plan in order

to achieve financial freedom business.

Although business can be risky, can be the ticket to faster financial freedom and faster

world.

So I achieve financial freedom through my businesses at $28 with not many assets in

my name and not in a hectic net worth position.

And now because some businesses have gone backwards as well as income's gone up, I'm

not financially free anymore, but through business, uh, I think I'll be able to achieve

financial freedom within the next year.

So like by the end of 2019, I think I'll be financially free again because of business,

which is crazy when you think about it.

Twelve months now.

Business isn't for anyone more everyone, everyone, um, it, it is way more stressful because you're

living and dying on your own sword every single day.

And without the right skillsets, like, it's crazy to think that you can do what you do.

You know, not many people have that online marketing skill set that you do, which is

the most powerful way to build a passive income.

So not many people have worked at it for 15 years to get out.

So the other thing put in the time, you know what I mean?

And, and that is, you know, it really is a, you know, that's just very fun recording,

like it's a five to 15 year journey towards that.

Your financial freedom.

Now that's true, but it's only been invested in property and no one's taken me 15 years

anyway.

It probably took me 10 years through business.

It's, it's so cool that you've got that goal and that ability and I think it's something

that you learned right, and someone else who got and learn as well, but I think business

as well, not only can it give you passive income through like I have online passive

income businesses or you can hire other people to work in your businesses so they can be

fairly passive.

But also business has the ability to create excessive wealth.

So you can earn more than $100,000 a year.

You can have the potential to earn 200, 300, $500,000,000 a year through a business.

And then I can see ways to grow my business, whereas when you enter job and obviously you

can move up the corporate hierarchy, but you kind of a cat or if you're in the same job,

you might get a three to five percent pay rise per year.

Whereas in a business because you do live or die off your own sword, you can grow that

business and you can get excessive amounts of money which you can then use to invest

in property and grow your wealth.

Again, I remember when I first started my business, I had this one month where I am,

you know what it would take me to earn effectively in my old job in which a year after I figured

it out and I was just like, Holy Shit.

Like this is.

They take it and you're completely right.

Like it can exponentially spread out where you're at.

Alternatively, if you're on the other side of it, you could potentially work a business

two days a week and more than you could in a year anyway from working at smart because

100 percent of the money is ending up in your pocket, not someone else's or even doing a

side business, so people who have jobs rather than trying to earn more money through their

job or maybe that's not possible.

You can start a side business and an extra $500 per month or a thousand dollars per month

if you work on that on the side and that can be your ticket out of the job that you hate

and then once you're working full time in that business, then you can focus on trying

to grow your problem property portfolio.

That's the path that I talk.

Worked full time business hustle on the side.

Once that hustle was earning some money, I moved across into a full time, was able to

make full time income out of A. I love that man, and this is a big lesson I've learned

is year, which is, you know, no matter how much you're earning in your life or your business,

you need to invest in assets that produce income outside of that.

And I've been made very, very aware that recently, um, obviously we're, you know, market conditions

changing as well.

It's had an impact on my business and from that perspective it's enabled me to just start

thinking about things like, one thing I'm so grateful for is that I've moved profit

out of my business since I started it into assets that produce income, same as you like

on property is one income source of yours, but you've got multiple other sources of income

that you've set up as well.

And it, it is still stressful when your core piece of income, regardless of how little

or how much you make is reduced.

But it's just amazing to have like these structures in the background that are supportive of that.

So more than ever before.

Now, same as Ryan, like I'm this very, very focused on producing the actual passive income

that I want for life.

That's not just going to look after my baseline living costs, which I've done, but you know,

provide myself in a position within a couple of years time where I literally never have

to work again.

If I don't want to, to the point where I can have the lifestyle that I want to leave at

the same time and I'm just like laser focused on that.

Now.

That's what I want to do and I think getting to that point where you not only have enough

income to cover your baseline financial freedom, but you have extra income, extra passive income.

Then your expenses are covered, but you've got extra income to invest and then it exponentially

grows whether you work or not because you're.

You're earning too much that you need to live off that you continually investing and that's

something that I want to do in 2019 that I didn't do in 2018.

I didn't invest in income producing assets.

And so in 2019 I'm going to go ahead and do that.

And whether you guys start big with that and do it with a property or you start small and

do it with shares or other smaller income producing assets.

You.

I think, yeah, getting that income producing assets.

Okay.

One hundred percent man.

Mine.

Next biggest financial learning was to just make budgeting automatic.

I struggled to budget for many years.

Main Kelly tried so many different types of ways of budgeting the envelope system, doing

everything in cash, having a daily budget of what I learned is making budgeting automatic,

which is the case or as success.

So what we did was basically wrote out our annual expenses are things like our bills,

insurance, rent, all of that sort of stuff.

And then basically each week when we would get paid automatically I had automatic transfers

set up in my bank account and so money would go where it needs to go.

So rent would get paid, money would be put aside for bills.

Money will be put aside to pay off.

Debt.

Money would be put aside for saving.

It would just all happen automatically.

And then we would have a weekly budget that we would live off, so rather than trying to

manage all the expenses in our

every expense other than our discretionary weekly money that we spent on groceries and

clothes and things like that, every other expense was completely automated.

And so although I think the only thing we had to focus on was we have this much money

to live off within each week and we have to live within our means that's so powerful and

it's something that I've made in religious habit of over the last seven years in my approach

to budgeting is just understanding where my fixed costs are, earning more income and then

paying myself first.

Then I just have a set figure each week that I pay for future investing and savings.

And I just think, you know, whether you do it Ryan's way or mine, it's the thing that

changes your life, right?

Like it's the thing that gives you that buffer if you need it to make decisions in a bad

time.

And it's that thing that enables you to invest the surplus into income producing assets.

Pay Yourself first is the one that I had next and that's part of the automation is that

you are paying yourself first so the money comes in and money that's going towards investing

or going towards paying off debt.

It just happens automatically and then it's done and so you're moving towards your financial

goals.

You're investing or you're paying down debt naturally, and then the human mind is just

so powerful.

So if you give it a focus to only live off within a certain means, but you're already

investing automatically that so much better than saying, okay, try and live less than

the money you have and invest what's leftover because there's never anything leftover.

Yeah, I mean humans have lived that.

Life will take me as much as we possibly can unless you're.

My last one is something that I've really picked up particularly in the last couple

of months is, you know, as someone like on the outside that probably to a lot of paper

would be like a, you know, businesses, families, property, stuff like that is aspirational

to a lot of people that are just getting started.

But the reality is is we all go through stuff and this year it's been a really challenging

year for my mental health.

I just, I've had to deal with some anxiety this year and that just being really open

with people like.

And it's something that I didn't even realize was a real thing.

Like I was at mental health, that slide, you know, that's other people, what do they delve

into that.

But this year it just caught me by surprise and I, you know, no matter how much stuff

I was achieving or how good my life looked like on the outside, to me it was just, you

know, probably years and years of overwork and just, you know, like overworking and just

the stuff that comes in life.

And it kind of caught me by surprise in what I've realized by like going through that journey

and getting myself in such a better physical space, mental space, like spiritual space

is I now have this underlying confidence that I had years ago when I was just getting started,

which is I trust and have faith that everything is going to be sweet.

And that is a huge, powerful thing that you can draw on.

That's true because so much of our relationship has been me saying that to you the last couple

of months has been using that to me because appreciated it so much.

To be like, dude, everything is going to be right.

We can do this.

It's going to be good.

I'm like, okay, okay.

Stress less.

There's so many years.

I probably had undiagnosed anxiety and like you said before, like Ryan was pretty much

my counselor.

I bring him up at least once a week talking about either business challenge or personal

challenge which were just in my head like they were stories that weren't even real and

sometimes they were, they become real like these.

She's been a challenging year from a couple of different aspects for both of us.

But I just, I had this faith that everything's going to work out and that is what I had when

I was younger.

I just knew that everything would be cool and I wish that I hadn't been able to acknowledge

that that was the missing thing.

And you've had that for so long and I feel like the last couple of weeks for you it started

to like cool, like if like, you know what I mean, like we're both on the outward journey

back in the groove again and it's just, you know, no one talks about this stuff, especially

when it's supposed to be nobody lessons, financial lessons, but you know, the reality is we all

go through stuff and I just, I know next year and the year after and the future is going

to be amazing because I fucking known now that no matter what hardship I go through,

I'm resilient and I can overcome it and I've got a much better set of tools in my belt

now to actually work through this stuff as it comes up to like I addressed it head on

as opposed to running away from it or burying it or pretending it's not a real thing.

And my last one, which is kind of boring on your inspirational one, was that idea of keeping

your expenses low.

So just hadn't really focused on budgeting and expenses until about halfway through this

year.

And even then I wasn't focused on, okay, what can I cut out of my life?

It was like live within your means, sure, but we could have been doing more and I could've

been doing more.

And now it's about keeping your expenses low because yes, I do have that faith that everything

will be okay, but then I also have control that I can make decisions today to spend less

so that I can invest more so that I have that buffer of passive income and have that buffer

of investments.

When things do go wrong in life, they'll support me.

So while things are going good, I'll spend less and invest and I'll prepare for when

things aren't going well.

So yeah, lowering my expenses and really focusing on that.

I love that.

Like living in the cloud and trusting that it's all going to be cool and setting good

intentions is one thing.

Doing the fucking work and budgeting is the other thing.

And we both, we both had practical, like more practical than aspirational, that's for sure.

Yeah.

You, you believe that everything's gonna work out, but then do the work.

Then you work your ass off to make sure that it does work.

Yeah, and if it doesn't then you'll find another way.

Yeah.

There's always another way.

Say you know, I'm stoked to be talking about this stuff man.

It's been a crazy calling either both of us in so many ways and

I can't wait for just the cool stuff we're going to put out there next year like it feels

like.

Yeah, I know.

Just back to doing really good quality stuff.

Twenty 19.

It's going to be a year to move forward both for us in our finances as well as in our happiness

in our life and the value that we bring to you guys and we hope that your 2019 will hold

a lot of the same things.

So hopefully you can take some of these learnings from 2018 things that we've learned like passive

income assets, a key focusing on that or like ben creating a plan, having those goals.

Take some of these ideas as your own and use them into 2019 moving forward so you can have

one of your best years ever, but get to the end of 2019 and be closer to your goal of

financial freedom.

That's.

Yeah, that's what I want for you guys.

I think ben does too.

Now.

I think everyone should be better next year.

You know what I mean?

Yeah.

So while you're here guys, go ahead and check out the video that we did on how to create

an investment strategy for 2019.

So if you don't have an investment strategy yet, if you don't have goals or plans between

19, that video is an awesome one to check out.

I'll also leave it in the links down below.

Thanks so much for tuning in today, everyone.

Until next time, stay positive.

This Is Why I Started A Vertical Vlog... - Duration: 7:47.

DOES GOD WANT YOU TO BE RICH? Money, wealth + what the Bible says - Duration: 14:23.

Hi I'm Tammy Sevcov and this is Worth Considering where we stretch our minds

and our hearts to look at the other side of the story and see how we as

Christians can better engage with the world around us

and today... we're talking about money

[SINGING] money, money, money, mo-ney, MO-NEY. Right? I mean, come on, it comes to mind.

Okay so for the next few episodes I'm gonna be talking about some different topics on money

I'm gonna be talking about capitalism and socialism and unjust wages and even

touch on a little thing I like to call Christian communism found right there in

the book of Acts. But before we get into all of that, I'd like to start with this

idea of the biblical perspective of money. Now, my own personal view of

money has radically changed over the last 20 years. What I grew up and (in

the church) and had thought I knew; a lot of it came from traditions or things

that I heard from people but it wasn't necessarily founded in really studying

Scripture. And I was pretty confident it was biblical or it was godly but I

really hadn't looked at it for myself. So, today what I'm hoping to do is propose

to you a question and challenge our thinking a little bit so my question

that I'm starting with today is: "Does God want you to be rich?"

I mean it's a good question, isn't it? So here's where I'm gonna start;

I've noticed a huge disparity in the Christian psyche when it comes to wealth. What I mean is when

we're at church were really good at saying we don't need anything. We don't

believe in wealth. We don't want wealth. We don't want money.

In fact I heard one guy talk about (I'm pretty sure it's the old King James Version),

"filthy lucre" and, man! That sounds terrible. I certainly don't want that.

But then I hear people at home talking completely differently,

talking about the the car they want, the home they want, the gaming system they want,

that there's this idea that I have these things that I really do want and and I

want money I want to find a good job; I want to earn the right kind of salary to

get the the job that I want to get the kind of wealth that I want. So while

we're in "God's house" we're really good at saying we don't want wealth and when

we're outside of "God's house" we're good at talking about all the wealth we're

hoping to accumulate. And I just call us out and say; you know what

guys? We're kind of being Pharisees about the whole thing. We need to know what we

believe and be straight up about it. If you believe we shouldn't

have money, then go clean out your checking account today, go give it all

away and ask God what to do next. If that's really what you believe. But I

think there's there's an importance of studying scripture to know what is it

that we ought to believe. One of the problems is that there's an ideal in the

church that poverty is automatically pious. Like to give up everything is

righteousness. Right? We look at someone who's awesome, who did great work like

Mother Teresa of Calcutta; who, her work with the orphans there in India was

absolutely beautiful. And she she took a vow of poverty; she owned nothing.

That's a beautiful thing, but is that what everybody is supposed to do?

You know, I honor her for the work that she did I don't know that I honor her specifically

more for being for taking a vow of poverty she just did what God called her

to do. But the problem is is that when we start to think that poverty itself, or

giving up everything, is automatically pious; we start to get toward the idea of

self-flagellation. Which was common in the church pre-reformation. Right? The

when the Catholic Church kind of ruled and things had gotten very corrupt.

Self-flagellation - I am, by the way, not talking about flatulence. That's a

completely different topic and we probably will not be talking about that

anytime soon - So, self-flagellation is when people would like beat themselves

to prove that they were sinners and how bad they felt about being sinners

and gave themselves, you know, this idea of like walking on the ground

crawling on their knees and gravel - to cause pain - to repent, right? But the

reality is when you understand grace that Jesus paid for our sin once and for

all we don't have to keep paying for it. This idea of self-flagellation should be

really just dealt with with the simple passage that says when when King Solomon

was told, hey listen; God desires obedience rather than sacrifice. He's not

looking for you to give up everything, but to obey Him, that's what he wants!

Would you listen to what he says? I personally had to struggle with this at

one point because I really had a desire and have a desire to be married but I

also felt like there was this question; like, well, I'm not married yet

so does that mean I'm supposed to give this up? Do I have a wrong desire in my

heart? And I remember bringing it to the Lord and saying; Lord I'll give this up

I'll choose to stay single I mean Paul talks about that it's better so if

that's what you're saying... And I really felt like the Lord challenged me and

said, Tammy I'm asking you to just obey me I have no problem with the desire in your heart

In a sense I felt like he was saying, I have no problem with the desire

in your heart, so long as it's not superseding what I'm asking you to do.

Now, just to clarify for those of you who are not used to hearing somebody say

they heard from God; I'm not talking about an audible voice, but just like a

sense on the inside, some scriptures that I read that I felt like were really

pointed and directed to me, and it just confirmed in my heart that this was this

is what he was saying and it's just completely backed up by what scripture

talks about. So the question is not, you know, beat yourself up and prove how

humble you are. But will you listen to me? Will you be led by me? In fact some

people like to talk about the rich young ruler, right? You remember the story?

He comes to Jesus, says to Jesus how can I, you know, inherit internal life? Jesus says,

obey the commandments. He's like yeah, I already did that. Like hello, I already

did that. Got the commandments down. Check. Next? Anyway so then Jesus says well one

thing you lack, give away everything you have or sell everything you have

give away to the poor and your treasure will be in heaven come and follow me.

People say, "see, there you go! Jesus said give away everything you have. That's

what Jesus wanted." Well, here's the here's the tension point for those who'd like

to use this as a ubiquitous command is that Jesus didn't say this to everybody.

He was talking to one person and saying YOU need something. You lack something,

right now. And it's obvious Jesus was right on the money because the guy went

away and was very sorrowful and couldn't do it he couldn't give up all that he

had because see the problem wasn't just that he had money, the problem was that

money had him. His heart was tied up. Look guys, you don't have to have money to

have the love of money scripture says the love of money is the root of all

kinds of evil. The love of money is often found in impoverished people; they're

sure that money will solve their problems; and in a very secular worldview

it does. I mean money helps with a lot of things. But the truth is if you think

money is the rescue then you're no longer looking to God to be the rescue.

If the only thing you ask God for is money then

you're not looking for his provision you're looking for money, right? The idea

is you know God may provide you a house by bringing money, by bringing a better

salary, by by bringing a better situation, by giving you a good deal. He might also

provide you a house by having some crazy uncle you didn't know that he set up

generations ago, die and put it in his will for you to be given a house. Right?

The idea is does the provision come from God or does the provision come from

money? That's the tension point and after the rich young ruler

walked away to remember Jesus said, he said "How hard is it for a rich man to

enter the kingdom of heaven" and the disciples were shocked because they're

like what do you mean? They had no notion there was no idea that wealth would be

bad, right? In our culture we we automatically seem to think that but in

their minds in their in their religious upbringing there was nothing that was

bad about money. But Jesus then clarifies; he like takes it down

a another notch, or takes it up another natch truly. And says "how hard is it for

those who TRUST in riches, to enter the kingdom." If your trust is in riches

you're not trusting in God. It's very clear he says, "you can't serve

God and Mammon (the god of wealth)." You can't serve both you have to pick one

One has to be your priority, not 'and' If you look through all of Scripture, I

mean, the history of scripture, you see that God never had a problem with people

having wealth. It was never a problem. You look at Abraham - the very first covenant

God gives - it's very clear. He says, "Abraham I'm gonna bless you, I'm

gonna make your name great. I mean, "make your name great", it's like "Abraham I'm

gonna make you famous." Right? We would be like, "are you kidding?! God doesn't want people

to be famous!" it no listen he doesn't have any problem with these things so we

who have the problem! Right? He wanted people to look at Abraham and be like

"look here's the guy I blessed who had a child that are ridiculously old age I

did the impossible through him! Notice him! Right? Even his children; Abraham

Isaac Jacob blessed. There's wealth. There's good things coming to

them. Then you look at King David: totally blessed financially. Solomon: ridiculous.

In fact in Solomon's day they actually started piling up silver outside of the

city because they couldn't count it all. It became like pennies in our world, they

only used gold as currency. That's how wealthy Solomon made,

not only himself, but the city and the people of Israel. This is what I'm

talking about. There's just no problem in God's mind for wealth, it's just not a

problem. It's we who get a little confused about it. That God is the

one who's saying no you shouldn't have things. No, God is the one saying your

heart shouldn't be tied to these things. Matthew 6:33 "seek first the kingdom of

God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you" Most of us

who would quote that through the 1st book of Traditions, would be something

like, you know, "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and you don't

need all that stuff!!" It's not what he said.

he's a good dad. You know, I don't see a discrepancy between Jesus challenging

the rich young ruler to give everything to the poor, and saying when Mary

(remember the the sister of Martha and Lazarus?) when she breaks that costly

alabaster flask over Jesus feet, and basically dumps a year's worth of salary

over Jesus's feet. And he says - and Judas pipes up - JUDAS pipes up and says you

know shouldn't that have been sold and money given to the poor?

and by the way if you read the passage you know that Judas's motives were not

pure. But Jesus says you know the poor you'll always have. She did something

special. He just dismissed the poor. And here's why I believe that is; because

with the rich young ruler and with Mary's costly spikenard, neither was

about the poor. It was each about the person's heart in

the moment, what was going on. What she was doing was a beautiful act of worship;

giving up something so precious to Jesus. What the rich young ruler was needing

was the ability to do that. To release what he had and not hold on to it.

Scripture is filled with passages that tell us that he'll provide all of our

needs according to his riches in glory. Notice it's not just according to your

need, it's according to his riches in glory. You say, "well, Tammy, "need" is

different than 'want' and desires and and fleshly things." And you're absolutely

right. But that's still subjective. I mean, honestly, "need"? What do you need?

A car? Well, yeah for my job. No you don't NEED a car. I know people who walk miles

and miles to get to their jobs. There's many countries where people

don't have cars at all, they manage. You don't need a car. Do you need a house?

Come on? You could live in an apartment. No, you could

live in a room in someone else's house. See we can get so so pedantic about what

does 'need' actually mean - and you actually need that? That we actually stop

remembering that God is our father and that he likes to take care of us

what dad do you know that that when you're their children is being obedient

they're like "you don't need that!" A good father says "oh my gosh, I would love to

bless you with that." Now, you also know to bless them according to what they can

handle. If you're a good father right you don't give them things they

can't handle yet. Just like we wouldn't give the keys to your Mercedes to a

two-year-old because they can't handle it. But at the same time, you might

give that two-year-old one of those little awesome little Jeep things they

can ride around. I mean, that would be fun. I would like that if I was a

two-year-old. Right? So there's this idea that, God is a good dad. He

wants to take care of us and it's and it's funny how we get so mad, you know,

what happened is we got these faith preachers and people who quote

some of these scriptures about wealth and things and we get mad about it - but

the truth is they're in the Bible! Don't get mad at the preachers. And yes there

have been some abuses and I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about

just coming back to the Word. What does it say?

Having money is not a sin. In fact, the way scripture talks to me, says that

if I'm a business owner, an employee, I should expect financial provision and

blessing. And I should expect to make sure that my hand is open enough that

God can put money in my hand and tell me to send it right back out. It's loving

money that's the sin. That if my heart is tied into it, that's when I'm gonna be in

trouble. And hey, I've got to challenge us; we've got to stop getting mad at pastors

when they bring up money. Because I believe this, I believe that money is one

of the most significant topics of stress in our lives and if we're not hearing

from people who give spiritual insight about these topics then we're the ones

probably with the problem. In fact I would challenge you on this. On one side

you should never feel guilted into an offering - ever ever ever ever ever

God says he loves a cheerful giver. The same time if you're feeling guilted, I

would I would at least ask you to question your heart; to figure out if

it's the preacher that's guilting you, or if it's something on the inside

you know is off. And it's just bothering you because you don't want to hear it.

Come on, we got to be straight up with ourselves.

We want to grow, so let me ask you this - Would you comment below; what is your

perspective on money in the Bible? Is there anything that I shared today that

honestly kind of rubs you wrong? It's not the way you believe? It's not the way you

thought? Maybe there's other scriptures that you'd like to point out to me or

point out to each other? This is a place we want to have great conversation. Do

you even think you might have biases on this topic? Love to hear your thoughts on that!

Hey listen, Worth Considering is all about good conversation and growing

together. So please go ahead and add your comments but listen we have a rule here

if you're gonna rage we're not gonna engage. So, I will love to respond to your

comments but if people are just gonna hate, I'm just not even going to pay

attention. I'd encourage the community to do the same thing we don't need to hear

people's get it angry because the internet is full of people getting angry

I want to have really good healthy conversation to grow together in this so

thank you for listening hey if you enjoyed this please give me a big thumbs

up subscribe make sure you stayed in touch and as always I want to challenge

you this week make sure you consider the other side of the story

Which NFL team tried to sign 43-year-old Matt Hasselbeck this season? - Duration: 4:19.

Matt Hasselbeck is 43 years old and last played in the NFL during the 2015 season, but that didn't stop one team from reaching out to see if he could help lead them to the playoffs

In an article by The Ringer's Kevin Clark exploring how age doesn't seem to be affecting quarterbacks, he revealed an interesting piece of information in his interview with the retired quarterback

Clark writes, "Hasselbeck got a call from a contending team this year asking whether he was in shape and available to sign

He is 43."  MOCK DRAFT: Kyler Murray goes early; Eagles, Colts find new playmakers  Clark doesn't identify the team, aside from calling them a "contending team," so we're left to guess which one it is

Some have taken "contending" to mean a playoff team, but none of those teams had a need for a quarterback

We're thinking this was more end-of-the-season contending.  So, let's try and find out which team it was with some guesses

Washington Redskins  This seems like the most obvious choice. After Alex Smith and Colt McCoy went down, Washington needed a quarterback as it was still in the race to win the NFC East

Washington still had a shot at the division title with just two games left on the schedule, so perhaps the team thought Hasselbeck could have helped more than Josh Johnson

The Redskins also seem like the type of franchise that would be bold enough to try a move like this

They're known for bad roster decisions, so trying to sign a QB who retired three years ago seems right up their alley

MORE: Foster mess restores Redskins as gold standard for unaccountability Tennessee Titans  Another possibility would be the Titans, a team Hasselbeck spent two years with during the 2011 and 2012 seasons

Tennessee was in the thick of the playoff race all the way until the end of the season in a win-and-you're-in matchup against the Colts

Tennessee had to rely on Blaine Gabbert in that game following an injury to Marcus Mariota

It might have been a better decision as Gabbert struggled in the game, throwing two interceptions and finishing with a poor 60

3 quarterback rating. Buffalo Bills  This team doesn't seem quite as a likely as the other two, but I could see Buffalo reaching out at some point in the middle of the season

The Bills already coaxed 35-year-old Derek Anderson out of retirement for two games before his injury

The team then turned to historically-bad Nathan Peterman and Matt Barkley before rookie Josh Allen returned from his injury

Buffalo had perhaps the worst quarterback struggles of any team this season, so it's possible it felt desperate enough to reach out to Hasselbeck

MORE: Ranking new NFL coaches based on Sean McVay connections Cincinnati Bengals  The Bengals were in the playoff hunt until Week 15 when they were eliminated

The team finished the season with Jeff Driskel playing the last six games. Driskel averaged just 153 passing yards per game in that stretch, eclipsing the 200-yard mark just once

In other words … he wasn't good.  The Bengals' offensive coordinator was Bill Lazor, who was Hasselbeck's QB coach for a season in Seattle

Perhaps some familiarity in the offense could have played a part in Lazor reaching out

Mourinho reveals what really happened with Mo Salah's Chelsea exit - Duration: 4:12.

Jose Mourinho insists he "fell in love" with Mohamed Salah before signing him for Chelsea

But the Portuguese insists that the man now thriving at Liverpool became a "lost kid in London" during his entirely forgettable short stint at Stamford Bridge

Salah joined the Blues from Swiss side Basel in January 2014, having impressed against Chelsea in both the 2012-13 Europa League and the 2013-14 Champions League

His displays in the latter prompted Mourinho to put forward a deal to sign the forward, but he failed to make the grade at Chelsea under Mourinho's watch

He made 19 appearances under Mourinho, before being sent on loan to Fiorentina in February 2015

Chelsea sold him permanently to Roma in August 2016, before he joined Liverpool the following year - going on to score 44 times for Liverpool last season

Now 26, he has followed that up with a further 17 goals this term and Salah's Chelsea exit has often been used as a stick to beat the former Manchester United manager with

But Mourinho insists that it was the hierarchy at Chelsea who elected to sell Salah, while reminding that it had been he who had initially given him a chance

"First of all let's start with Salah. Because lots of things have been told which are not true," Mourinho told beIN Sports

"For a start people try to identify me as the coach that sold Salah. I am the coach that bought Salah

It's completely the wrong idea.  "I played against Basel in the Champions League

Salah was a kid at Basel. When I play against a certain team I analyse a team and players for quite a long time

And I fell in love with that kid.  "I bought the kid. I pushed the club to buy him and at the time we already had fantastic attacking players - Hazard, Willian, we had top talent there

But I told them to buy that kid. He was more a winger coming inside than a striker

"  However, unable to displace one of Chelsea's attacking stars, Salah grew unhappy - leading to his switch to Florence

"He was just a lost kid in London," added Mourinho. "He was a lost kid in a new world

We wanted to work him, to become better and better and better. But he was more of the idea of wanting to play and not wait

"So we decided to put him on loan, in a culture I knew well. Italy. Tactical football

Physical football.  "A good place to play. Fiorentina are a good team to play for without the pressure of playing for the title

"And we decided that move there. When the club decided to sell him it was not me

"But I bought him, not sell him and my relationship with him was good.  "I think he doesn't regret that move because the progression went well, but he was just a kid who wanted to play every week and I couldn't give him that

"

Adapting Guitar Techniques 02 - Guitar-Nerdery #032 - Duration: 9:56.

Hello and welcome to my new Guitar-Nerdery video, adapting guitar techniques

part 2! Let's take the exercise of my former video and pushing it up to a new

level by incorporating string skipping

Just to recall. I took a cool alternate picking exercise of guitar player Vinnie Moore

and transformed it into a hybrid picking exercise. And one of the

strong points of hybrid picking is, you can easily skip strings and that's what

we're gonna do today. Let me first show you the three note per string pattern

I'm gonna use today

Now let's start with the exercise. Let's take two strings and incorporate a

string skipping

You see, this time I'm using my right hand's third finger for plucking the

string, just as an exercise. You can of course use your second finger like in

part one, but you're building up your possibilities if you are training also

your third finger. The following step would be, you choose different pairs like

A-string and G-string

or D- and B-string

Those last string combinations D-string, B-string or G-string and e-string are

extra hard to play for the left hand, because we have that horizontal offset

Now the next exercise. Let's play two string skippings up- and downwards

And of course you can play the same on the other three strings

And now finally let's take those last two exercises and make one of them

And instead of going backwards here... ...going to the last string

and then skip in return

And now the first string again

And now we're ready to repeat

These string skipping exercises are pretty difficult, but they will train

your right hand hybrid picking even more. I've played all exercises through one

three note per string pattern. If you know more, adapt these exercises to all

of the pattern you know. Of course you can adapt those exercises to all

three note per string pattern. It mustn't be diatonic pattern, could be something like that:

Arpeggios, an A minor 11 arpeggio

In addition the D minor 11

This way you also incorporate stretching of your left hand into the exercises

So far for today! Adapting guitar techniques will be continued. Thanks for

visiting my youtube channel and if you like what you have seen

please like and subscribe! You would support my channel and of course you will be up to date

This program is weekly updated! Have a nice week! Bye...

'Idiot', 27, is banned from ship after jumping from 11th floor balcony - Duration: 6:38.

A passenger who jumped from the 11th floor balcony of a ship ended up being kicked off the cruise and banned from Royal Caribbean liners for life

Nick Naydev, 27, from Vancouver, Washington, was travelling on the Symphony of the Seas with a group of friends when they filmed the 120ft jump while in the Bahamas

A short video shared on Instagram shows Nick preparing to leap off the balcony, smiling and looking down at one of his friends who is holding the camera

After a couple of seconds standing on the railings the daredevil jumps and falls towards the bright blue water as his friends nervously laugh

In another clip of their prank, Nick is seen swimming in the water as his friends exclaim 'oh my gosh,' clearly relieved and surprised that their pal actually jumped

Responding to the comments of his now viral video Nick said he was 'still drunk from the previous night' when he decided to jump

' In the comments he also said it cost him '$200 to fly back to Miami' after the stunt

Luckily for the group the police in Nassau 'thought the situation was amusing and did not file legal actions

'   In another video his friend Konstantin Kryachun showed the group of men being spoken too by officials and escorted from the cruise liner

He also revealed that they weren't thinking about the cruise company's response, but were focused on getting a good video

He said: 'He's jumped from those kind of heights before, and we didn't really care about the consequences with the cruise company

We just wanted to get a video of it and make it go viral.'However Nick said he was 'astonished' at how quickly the video has gone viral and added that he hopes he doesn't 'inspire anyone to try this

'He said: 'My idea was this would be a good laugh for my friends and I would just swim back to shore and continue my vacation

'On the same day he shared the jumping video, Nick posted a picture of him and Konstantin standing on the beach in Nassau, with a cruise liner in the distance

In the caption he wrote: 'What a start to 2019 (This is my cameraman)' and commented 'lol thats our ship leaving without' [us]

Nick's Facebook profile explains how he's Bulgarian but was born in Germany before moving to the U

S. when he was three years old. The cruise ship stunt is not the first time the daredevil has launched into the water or tried an extreme sport with him having previously shared several videos showing him on a jet ski, snowboarding and jumping from a height into the Columbia River

The video has now been viewed more than 85,000 times but many people think the men were 'idiots' to jump from such a height

One person wrote: 'What a stupid idiot! Now he's banned for life on the cruise line

' Another said: 'U could have died. Next time u do something this idiotic. Please think of your parents

'A Royal Caribbean spokesperson said: 'This was stupid and reckless behaviour and he and his companions have been banned from ever sailing with us again

We are exploring legal action.'
