CES 2019: Drones, E-Scooters, Cameras & Future Tech Trends + Sean Cannell Interview - Duration: 11:17.

welcome back guys to day two and day three of CES 2019 now I'm Ben from

authentech, and in this video I'll show you all the future trends in tech that I

saw with drones electric scooters cameras and more also I got talk with

Sean from think media so stay tuned for that interview huge things to send or

for sponsoring this video they've been creating power banks wall chargers

travel adapters and more since 2013 and at CES they announced six new products I

got to meet up with those guys and I learned a ton about PD or power delivery

and they're on the forefront of that technology first up is Enders

a HPD pro a mass of 26,000 eight hundred million powers power bank with up to 138

watts output four USB ports two of which are USB see it's durable and

surprisingly portable for its massive capacity Super Hub is an easy upgrade

for your computer featuring a 60 watt USB C power delivery HDMI output and

wireless charging which I personally love using on my phone

cinder is also releasing mix a mash up charger featuring five thousand milliamp

hours of portable battery capacity USB C delivery and an integrated AC plug for

quick recharging for more info and pricing check them out at a link below

so first up here are some of the drone trends that I saw at CES there were lots

and lots of the same old drones that we've seen for a little while

same companies same products and that's sort of the theme at sea as basically

there's so much noise going on that companies don't want to release a new

product and get it lost amongst the noise so before or after the show often

at their own private event he'll announce a new product and that's a

common trend that we're seeing another major trend that I noticed in the drone

space there's more and more getting into waterproofing technologies these will be

good for all weather scenarios opening up the door for many more industries

like fishing hunting search-and-rescue imagine lifeguards dropping life

preservers right above the water swell Pro is one of the key players and

they have couple suite models I'm hoping that test

one is sort of like an fpv racing drone it cruises fast nimble flying analog fpv

feed which is nice yet fully waterproof which is sweet they also have a phantom

like model with a modular camera system 4k cameras seen in the dark cameras lots

of cool stuff there speaking of underwater there is another

trend I'd noticed there's more brands stepping into these water remote control

submarine like devices these would be super fun to test in my Lake to go

fishing scuba diving remotely and explore there were a few beetles or

vertical takeoff and landing aircrafts these give you the benefit of no runway

needed yet more efficient and longer flight times of fixed winged aircraft

one drone gadget I saw was from shift it's a unique controller for flying

quads and I'd like to see companies experimenting in this space another

up-and-coming drone company is newbie drone they're producing these micro fpv

racers plus RTF kits with goggles and transmitter all included nesting

together at an affordable price point this could be a fun review so stay tuned

for that jumping over to electric vehicles it seemed everyone's trying to

get into that vehicle game there were sensors of all sizes and shapes placed

in all different positions on the vehicles all rushing to this driverless

age one big trend I noticed there were a lot less electric scooters and rideable

than two years ago my best guess of that one is twofold

thanks to lime and other scooter sharing services less people actually need to

buy the scooters and now they can just rent them the other side of that coin is

thanks to those companies more and more people are seeing the useful utility of

electric scooters for that last mile I'm hoping more and more people will adopt

and purchase a wheels for their personal transportation if it makes sense

Jetson had a few different scooters one of which was a big wheeled prototype it

looked fun there were some offroading futuristic wheelchairs which looked to

me Segway ninebot was there and there are some old stuff but they also had a

couple new scoots that caught my eye like this electric dirtbike that look

crazy fun and then this massive off-roading Segway I just got to get my

hands on one someday they also had their z10 electric unicycle which looks rad

but I hear it's sort of difficult to get it here in the States sorta in that

electric rideable space I saw a motorized smart suitcase that

could follow you in and through the airport that's fun to watch

jumping over two cameras there were some key players in the 360 space one being

my latest favorite insta 360 now nothing new was announced but I got a play

around at their booth and it was hopping busy more and more people are starting

to see the potential for these 360 cans and remember it's less about VR and more

about cheating everything around you and then later reframing up your shot

if you haven't seen my latest in surrey 16 video make sure you check it out it

was one of my favorites I've done in a while there's some healthy competition

like views with a VR 3d 360 camera sort of like a two-in-one on a quick side

note I feel like I saw quite a bit of 3d stuff at CES and I can't figure it up

didn't we try 3d movies and TVs a while ago and it didn't work out and remember

that old Amazon fire phone that basically fell short and then that new

red hydrogen one holographic phone that never really caught on most reviews said

it was pretty lame and gimmicky so why is 3d making a comeback linear thoughts

down in the comments maybe I'll do a deep dive in a future video

another fading trend in my opinion are Gimbels I feel like three axis motors

are sort of a band-aid to that stabilization problem and I think we'll

see some of these fade away as E is gets better and better you know don't get me

wrong I think we're far from that day and gimbals are still needed for certain

industries but as for phone gimbals and action cameras i think they're slowly

fading away there were lots of camera for tracking some hurt isn't it

in different professional industry usage and then others like this one proposing

to be your one-man camera crew auto following your moves and action

supposedly 4k and a hundred and twenty FPS is pretty impressive the thermal

cameras from FLIR are always sweet and check this out you could see the hot

spots on my phone from that camera module that was cool and then here's

just some of the fun and miscellaneous crazy stuff that I ran into you while I

was there it's almost like you're in a constant state of sensory overload the

bright lights loud sound

and then the irony of massage chair booths packed to the brim with people

trying to catch a break virtual reality again seems to be slowly

dying off it wasn't as prominent this year around and I think it's fading away

I've always thought that the future is more augmented reality over VR but then

again I want to hear from you guys do you actually enjoy VR or you think it's

sticking around long term there was this guy I found taking his Osmo pocket to a

whole other level there are a few new 49 inch insane ultra wide curved monitors

that could be a dreamed of video at it on maybe I'll get my hands on one of

those down the road speaking of pixels there were a lot of 8k TVs which are

always cool to see in person but honestly we're quite a ways from wide

adoption even 4k is slowly coming around I saw that rollable LG OLED TV which was

pretty impressive and I got a quick meet up with a big youtuber what's up guys

I'm with Sean from think media a huge thanks for me momentum is great because

I do Punk to be here have a couple questions for them first up we're at CES

2019 what's one of the coolest tech gadgets or products that you see yeah

there's a couple cool ones for me you know got some key lights are really

awesome lights that clip to the back of your desk if you livestream from

or if you even want to record YouTube videos sitting at a desk it's hard to

find lighting or soft boxes that can be in small spaces so they clip on the back

of the desk super thin very low a whole range of color temperature that you can

switch very bright and you can control them all in your computer so they have

Wi-Fi in them so you have to stand up and turn of Honor to lock they even work

with the elgato stream deck that's one that really stood out to me and those

are over at the sands we got to check this out what's one trend that you see

maybe in the next three to five years and maybe you spotted here so yes you're

like wow this is gonna be big in the next couple years yeah you know it's

probably not me then spotted this but I think here this camera I mean if the

mirror this revolution I remember the DSLR revolution

yeah that's 5d mark ii came out and then the 7d right and that was the first one

that I got DSLR and now though mirrorless is taken over and so I think

that as a trend it's gonna become the new established you know leader Sony's

leading I can it's got the HAR now and that's kind a little bit behind about

Panasonic's got their announcements happening but I was very impressed by

Nikon I haven't paid a lot of the option their cameras are serious yeah one last

question what is one trend that maybe you saw a

couple years ago that certainly died that you haven't seen as much here and

might just be gone and then like several years so I don't know if it'll die but I

think you know the last couple years people said like VR you know even 360

video or 180 video it's just going to take over it's gonna

everything it's gonna be everywhere and as YouTube creators that just hasn't

really been the case I think there's a lot of relevant use cases but it by far

is not I'm totally taking over I think workflows are kind of hard to adapt to

consuming the content and again sometimes the CS book will be like this

is the future you know what other mention is sharp announced an 8k camera

at a prosumer level this year that might be some five thousand maybe three

thousand dollars which is crazy because red is like fifty thousand yeah to get a

K but one of the guys I heard say he said this is the year of 8k and I was

like no it's not 4k it's just barely be coming up soon

so I think that sometimes we think these technologies will hit sooner than they

actually will but saying that I mean VR AR 360 of course it's going to take over

it just might take 10 to 20 years for it to be a little bit more mainstream John

thank you so much fun together so there you have some of the upcoming tech

trends that I noticed at CES 2019 let me know all your thoughts down in the

comments thank you for watching and if you're new around here consider

subscribing for more tech videos and reviews posted at least once or twice

every week until next time let's live

you

Surprising Facts About Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? - Duration: 8:28.

A striking red trench coat paired with an equally stylish hat all packed up into a bundle

of criminal mystery, Carmen Sandiego really did sneak her way into all of our childhoods.

From the insanely fun geography based computer games to the unforgettable trivia game show,

and even its very own animated series and movies; Carmen was everywhere.

Carmen was educational.

And most importantly, Carmen Sandiego was fun.

Is fun, I should say.

'Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?' is the example of one of the few games that

actually made learning exciting.

And it did take the American schools by storm upon its release at first.

And I'm sure the 80s and 90s kids can remember the animated series 'Where on Earth Is Carmen

Sandiego?' and the 1996 TV game show version 'Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?'.

The insane popularity the character garnered really did ensure the rebirth of Carmen Sandiego

across various platforms.

However, remaining true to the nature of its main character, there are still many things

that remain shrouded in mystery about the shows or some of the lesser known things about

our favorite thief in red.

Here are some of the things you don't know about Carmen Sandiego.

The origin

When the writers originally were coming up with the idea for this game, they developed

it as 'Six Crowns of Henry VIII.'

At this stage, the players had to chase a Tudor king around London.

But Gary and Doug Carlston, the co-founders of Brøderbund that brought the first video

games, wanted a more educational focus from the game.

So, Gary suggested a way to incorporate his love for traveling into the game.

And that's how they eventually decided on making the players utilize a World Almanac

to search for the answers to the mysteries in the game.

The name

The writers of Carmen Sandiego always came up with witty names, especially for their

villains.

Like Anita Bathe being a play on the word 'I need a bath' or Ken U. Sparadigm standing

for 'Can you spare a dime.'

Remember how fun it was figuring out these little things in middle school with your friends.

But out of all, the name, Carmen Sandiego stood out to me.

In fact, many started playing this game because they really liked how mysterious and catchy

the name was.

And turns out, that is exactly what the original video game writer, David Siefkin, intended

when he made the name.

In an article with Kotaku, Siefkin explains that he wanted an exotic name for the character,

so he came up with it based on one of his old roommates and the singer Carmen Miranda.

The title, Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

perfectly summed up the entire premise of the video game, giving it an intriguing tone

from the get-go.

The background

Although Carmen has danced her way over to many different platforms and has been revived

as a beloved character each time, not much is known about her personal history.

And this year, Netflix is reviving Carmen Sandiego once again, set to release on January

18, with the promise to find out not only where in the world, but also who in the world

is Carmen Sandiego.

Originally, Carmen was a part of an organization called V.I.L.E., where she fought against

their sworn arch-nemesis, the ACME agency.

But in later versions, she portrayed herself as a rogue ACME agent, an orphan, and even

as having familial ties with The Chief, the head of the ACME agency.

Different platforms made a different interpretation of what made Carmen Sandiego, and it left

her past all tangled up in confusion and even more mystery to add to her character.

Let's just hope that this new Netflix series answers some of the burning questions we have

about Carmen.

The awards

'Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?' is one of the longest-running game shows in

history.

And it has received much love from the general public in the form of nominations for 45 Daytime

Emmy awards as well as two Peabody awards.

And as if Carmen herself wasn't legendary enough, Rita Moreno who voiced Carmen in the

animated series as well as some of the movies 'Where in the Universe is Carmen Sandiego?'

and 'Where in the Universe is Carmen Sandiego?

II', is an insanely talented EGOT, which means she has won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar,

and a Tony award.

So, who knows?

If we're lucky enough, maybe we could even get an episode or a movie featuring some of

the musical talents that she keeps hidden underneath that red coat of hers.

The Hollywood connection

Before Carmen Sandiego was picked up by Netflix, Walden Media sought to bring it to screen

in 2011 with Jennifer Lopez as one of the producers.

But, there was no confirmed news if J. Lo herself would be playing the titular role,

and eventually, nothing became of it.

There was even some buzz about Sandra Bullock playing the character in the 1990s when Walt

Disney Pictures wanted to make a Carmen Sandiego movie.

But I guess the world wasn't ready for a future Miss Congeniality and a Carmen Sandiego

collaboration just then.

But we sure are, right?

Anyway, let's see how Gina Rodriguez, who is set to voice Carmen in the upcoming Netflix

series, is going to blend in her own personality into the main character.

The game show

Maybe network companies really do care about the general public's education a lot more

than they seem to let on.

Or else, how would you explain two PBS affiliates seeing a report on how little Americans knew

about geography and then deciding to introduce the Carmen Sandiego game in a trivia game

show format?

Yep, turns out a study indicated that one in four Americans couldn't point out where

the Pacific Ocean was in the map.

So, the executives decided that this would be a perfect opportunity to make a game show

where kids could participate as ACME gumshoes, the lowest agent ranks at the ACME agency

and play the game.

They also brought characters like The Chief to life, among others, to make it feel more

like the actual video game it was based on.

And it seems like the plan really did work, as this game show went on to win 6 Daytime

Emmy Awards as well as a Peabody Award while it was on-air.

The mystery

Carmen Sandiego is a woman of mystery, always has been.

In fact, her character is so mysterious that she has officially been portrayed in live-action

only once.

When the 1996 game show 'Where in time is Carmen Sandiego?' started, viewers were

finally able to get a glimpse of the elusive Carmen Sandiego in flesh, even if it was an

obstructed view.

The producers were so bent on keeping things mysterious that the actress who portrayed

Carmen went uncredited for the role.

Huffington Post writer Todd Van Luling, however, did not give up on the mystery.

And after a 20 year long search, he finally found the women Janine LaManna and Brenda

Burke, who played Carmen Sandiego in the first and second season of the game show respectively.

It really does seems like the mystery of Carmen Sandiego even spills over into real life,

and we can't help but love it.

What do you think about Gina Rodriguez as Carmen Sandiego?

Why You Should NOT Start a Handyman Business - Duration: 5:31.

Hey friends, Allen Lee here with honest Lee handyman services out of Sacramento, California

And in this video specifically I wanted to talk about why you should not start a handyman business

Probably one of the the biggest questions I get is. Hey Allen, This is my circumstances, Should I start a handyman business?

so there's a lot of a lot of videos out there a lot of

Information about what you need to start a handyman business and why you should start one now

I want to tell you guys why you should not start one now. That's a little contrary

So one thing is that if you think that starting a Henry in business is gonna be all you know

Fluffy bunnies and rainbows then you've probably got another thing coming to you

You're either gonna learn a really hard lesson or you're not gonna start it at all. So starting up a handyman business

Takes a lot a lot. So you got it really where it's got to start from is your mindset

Before anything else people ask me Halon. Should I you know set up an LLC first should I?

You know buy a truck. Should I buy a trailer? Should I buy all these tools?

What should I do first the first thing that I would recommend?

When you are thinking about starting a handyman business is making sure that you got it going on up here

And really what I'm talking about is there's got to be some switch and this isn't a switch that you can learn

This isn't a skill that you can learn. It's something that that has to go on deep inside of you

It's something that you have to realize that that you no longer want to be an employee

Of someone but you want to now be an employer you want to be a business owner now

It takes a different breed of person

I think that there are a lot a lot of entrepreneurs out there, but they are letting fear hold them back

I have a very good video about fear and how that plays a role in starting up the handyman business

I will link that up here so you can check it out

That is just kind of my story of how I overcame that fear and how I kind of made that mental transition

that's really what I'm talking about in this video is

you have to make that choice because if you don't make that choice that you no longer want to be an employee and you want

To go out and make this work no matter what

If you make that choice in your head

Then you are now gonna do whatever it takes. Even if it takes you working seven days a week, you know

14 hours a day, you're gonna make it work no matter what even if you're gonna have to go door to door, you know

When it's raining passing out flyers about your hanging business

you're gonna do it because you you have made that mental decision that you're gonna go for that no matter what so now

Becoming an entrepreneur and starting your own business

Isn't always what it's cracked up to be, you know

a lot of people think that when they start a Bahamian business or a business in general they are going to

Be netting you know, 100 grand 150 grand

You know right out of the gate their first year now that can happen with the proper training and things like that

But more than likely it does not happen because there's a lot of times there

There are big stepping stones that you got to you know, jump over and go over mistakes that go on in your business

These are all things that that everyone goes through and these are things that you got to go through to learn

So I wanted to make this video just describing kind of the the down side of it, you know

a lot of people have said that I would rather be an entrepreneur and

work seven days a week and make you know forty thousand dollars a year then work for someone and

work five days a week and make sixty thousand dollars a year just because

Really? I'm telling you if you have the guts to go out and start your own hand you're in business

it's gonna give you all kinds of freedom it may lack in certain areas, but it's going to

You've really got away

What you want the vision that you want for yourself and your family with your current position in where you're at

That's really what I did and that's how I kind of overcame

That is I saw this is where I want my family to be in five 10 20 years and in my current job

There's no way I could get to that

You know

One of the things that I really value is spending time with my family and at my other job

I would have to beg and plead to get any time off, you know other than you know my scheduled days off

But if I wanted to go on vacation or say if my if my wife was sick

Or if I want my wife that day

I had to Baker plead you get that day off and most of the time it would not happen now as a handyman

You there is no there's no sick leave. There's no vacation time

So if you are not working, you're not making money, but that is a choice that you get to make

So that is one thing that I really love is that freedom that the handyman business gives me is

That I get to make the choice and not have to worry about someone else making that choice

Whether or not I can go spend time with my family. That's the vision that I see

So if you guys want to start a Bahamian business, you got to get it right up here

You got to get that vision and where you're at in life in alignment and you got to make it happen

So if you if you're not prepared to you know

Do some rough and tumble in the mud for you know a year to you know

And really learn the lessons and you know do the hard stuff then this is probably not for you

But it is a great opportunity great thing to get in

So just want to make a quick little video describing that so thank you all so much for watching like this video

leave me a comment in the comment section below with

Whether or not you have a handyman business and where you're located, I would love to hear it

Thank y'all so much and have a fantastic day

How To Convince Your Parents About Esports - Duration: 4:33.

Can't you go a little easy on that keyboard? You'll break it if you type so fast.

Tell at athlete to slow down when he's running na Ma.

Runners go fast because they are trying to win the race.

You're not going anywhere sitting in front of that computer all day.

I'm trying to win as well!

Win what? A shooting video game?

Stop comparing video games to sports.

Mom. This is a sport.

How can you even compare that game to a sport.

Mom, this is a combination of chess and football. It's very similar to that.

Gadhedo.

Ok. Consider this.

The game has 2 teams. One team is the Terrorists the other team is the Counter-Terrorists.

The Terrorists have to plant the bomb and

the Counter-Terrorists have to stop the Terrorists from planting the bomb or they have to defuse it.

How is it that different from a goal keeper trying to stop a footballer from trying to score a goal

But I still don't see how it is a sport.

Just because there is an explosive football involved.

Real sports take skill, training and people actually make a career out of it.

Actually, mastering this game and aiming well takes a lot of skill.

Professional players dedicate thousands of hours of practice

just on developing their muscle memory and improving their reflexes.

Not only this, they put in just as much effort as about any other sport player.

Also, as far as a career is concerned, take a look at this.

Did you know that more people watch esports online than the watch the NBA on TV?

That's just one title. And not only this.

Some esports tournaments has more than 3 times the prize pool of the IPL.

That is India's bigest Cricket League.

But still, its just clicking rapidly and shooting people.

Football is real physical excercise which is good for your body.

Agreed. Esports may not involve as much physical activity as a conventional sport.

But it does involve tons of mind games and mental exercise.

Is moving your finger and sitting their all day good for your body?

Would you call that physical excercise?

So chess is not a sport?

There are lots of strategic decisions that gamers have to take in split seconds.

They need to do the math, calculate the risk and change their moves according to the game play of the opponent.

In Chess and Football, both players have their units on...on an open battle field.

You see the moves that your opponents makes and tailor your moves accordingly.

But in Counter-Strike, you cannot.

There are million different ways to set up ambushes

and a million different ways of breaking through them.

Positioning and flanking your enemy here is crucial.

You're right. Positioning is crucial.

Just like different units in chess,

every player on a team has a different role.

The game has an economy system that you need to keep in mind

while purchasing a weapon, while planning a strategy.

You mean to say this game is Chess, Football and a Video Game at the same time?

No.

This

is esports.

Lactate Threshold Training EXPLAINED + How to Improve - Duration: 10:18.

hi guys actually here from performance ground so two weeks ago Adam went over

the importance of your aerobic capacity and what vo2 max is we went over this

and we established that your aerobic capacity is the intensity that you can

workout aerobically you can sustain that intensity so today we're going to talk

about the lactate threshold and what this means how you can improve it so

although having a vo2 max a high br-2 max is really good you're able to absorb

a lot of oxygen a better predictor of performance is actually the lactate

threshold so this has been defined as the intensity that lactate production

exceeds lactate clearance so we know that lactate is a product of glycolysis

so when we create ATP to contract our muscles energy essentially a byproduct

of glycolysis is lactate and this is acidic so when you're doing something at

a high intensity this lactate build-up creates an acidic condition within the

muscle and that's when you feel this burning sensation and you want to stop

so in order to improve our lactate threshold we need to improve our aerobic

capacity just like Adam lived over a few weeks ago so we want to we need to

improve our clearance or our buffering of lactate and then also

increase the intensity that lactate threshold actually happens so if we look

here and see on one side of the graph we have lactate taking air millimoles this

is actual lactate within the blood and then see so this could be speed if

you're running it could be what if you are cycling or rowing or it could be a

percentage of your vo2 max so as intensity increases your lactate will

start to rise to a point and then here this point is your lactate threshold so

here we buildup of lactate increases faster than the clearance of lactate

anything underneath this point is classified as arrow

capacity so anything up to this intensity and then anything above your

lactate threshold is going to be being as anaerobic so you're unable to sustain

this pace so when we think about our Arabic capacity we need to be able to

sustain this intensity whether it's running speed what whilst you're cycling

or rowing anything that you're doing so to measure this without precise blood

lactate measurements and lots of expensive equipment we can do what's

called maximal error of a speed test so this is the highest speed that you can

sustain aerobically before going into an anaerobic threshold or going into the

red and the same with your FTP so this is a sustainable output you can with

withhold on a bike so to raise this lactate threshold we need to accumulate

a volume of training and submaximal intensity so we want to be working

around 82 90% of this Arabic speed or this FTP so

this is going to improve your capacity to absorb oxygen at this level which in

turn is going to increase this intensity where your lactate threshold happens so

as an amateur cyclists the better way I know how to illustrate this is to

perform maximal rapid test for you so this is an increase in intensity until I

can't do any more until I complete I

know my FTP so my functional training power we're about my lactate threshold

is it's about 300 Watts when I'm on a bike so I've started this max ground

test about 250 Watts it's quite high my flight start up and lower but every

it's gonna increase my watts I'm gonna have to work harder

see now I can kind of hold a conversation with a couple of minutes

time it's not going to be the case

currently at 270 watts about 300 that's when it's gonna stop

so now my targets 290 walks we're getting close to that's fair shouldering

you can hear my breath starting to have to breathe between my words as it

increases we're kind of reaching close to back

once a threshold estate

through this space I can probably sustain for about 40 minutes to an hour

any kind of mess that's when this lactates gonna build up its gonna really

burn I'm not going to be able to go much higher

so it's just gone upset over 300 watts now I'm at around about maybe you can

see my breathing start again

so I'm gonna hold this for a minute back up

so now the intensity is up to 330 watts which is about 110 percent of my FTP so

well over mine but to threshold see I'm ready up to greet our don't know how

much longer I pass now so my legs starting to get over here now

keep going

so now it's up to 350 this is getting Welliver pond I take threshold now my

legs a bit heavy

see I'm sweating or breathing hot

my heart rate is about seven Kirstin smart

roundabouts

maybe a fire today

so yeah

dangerous place

really something about now

70 watts man

right up to 194 you can see the sweat dripping off me

one second

laughs it I'm not going to be out of home another minute so you can see that

there was a zone where I was pretty comfortable I could sustain that level

oh I'll hit around 300 320 watts and then it started to feel the burn

we've got there up to 390 watts it's just well ago by a FTP and where my

lactate threshold will be so this is where we're getting into this anaerobic

zone and I could only actually hold that intensity for maybe 3 minutes so there's

an insight and a pretty good illustration of what might a threshold

is how much it hurts and how to improve it if you'd like that video or actually

just like to see me in pain hit like and don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube

Stronghold & Chill - Jack (Programming) - Duration: 12:52.

Hello everyone and welcome back to another Firefly Studios video,

Aaron here back with another episode of Stronghold & Chill.

To that end I bought in Jack Massey, one of our Junior Programmers here at the studio.

You guys know the format: One of the developers from upstairs, I bring them down here, put them in what I call the

hot seat, it does actually get hot, don't worry, so we can get to know some of the

developers a little better, some game dev related, some just you know general life

questions. Jack, are you ready to get started?

I hope so.

Yes, I hope so too, Jack. Otherwise it's going to be a shit video.

While I set up my resolute castle defenses and have everybody comment

saying how shit they are, could you take us through what exactly you do here Firefly

Studios and your average day within the studio and what you'll get done in

every day, that sort of thing. In regards to what I do, so I program on one of our

lesser-known project, so I've been working on that basically since

inception, it's what I was hired for and I've been doing that time immemorial

basically. My main day-to-day is I'm a programmer I work with the Unity game

engine. For those who don't know what the Unity game engine is that's just a

a game engine much like Unreal and Frostbite, if you've ever heard of

those in the games industry it's kind of a similar kind of fish, but I spend my

day coding fun into games, so if if I'm told "hey we need a feature or it needs

to be fixed" it's usually either my fault or my responsibility to work that out, so

that's kind of my day-to-day just making sure things get fixed, things get implemented,

people have a lot of fun. That's what I do. I think that's something we can all

get behind. So during these interviews I like to do one of ones, so one

game development question and then one general life to know you. Yes, try

and understand the face behind the brunt code so to speak. Oh, that's a very good

way to say, I'll write that into the script. Let's jump into our second question and this is I think the

audience doesn't know this, one game I like to know this about another gamer,

what's your favorite game of all time? Well that is a difficult question as a

game developer I think most people in our studio have a broad palette

in terms of games, many just to kind of keep up with the industry like

everyone's like playing the latest games and that just to make sure, but I think

my favorite game of all time is I'm probably gonna say it's Dwarf Fortress in

all honesty. Which is quite interesting given Firefly's history of strategy games,

Dwarf Fortress does have elements of strategy whilst it doesn't have the pretty

UI and graphics of Stronghold, it's certainly playing towards those

elements and it's quite useful in forming decisions that I have in the

studio. Okay, so wait, just let me deconstruct

this answer first. Dwarf Fortress to my mind is that weird,I don't even

know how to explain it, it's like, I'll put an image on screen right now but,

isn't it text based?

Yeah, Dwarf Fortress is rendered in what's known as ASCII

based graphics, so for those who don't know ASCII is like an American standard

for punctuation symbols and various other symbology in keyboards. However

obviously I'm not that masochistic, I use what's called a tile set, so it loads

in a bunch of graphics for me, I'm not unfortunately so hardcore that I play without

the graphics, so there are options to add graphics to the game, I'm not

looking at @-symbols and brake slashes and all that for my

information, I'm actually looking at graphics, but obviously those have to be

modded in, they're not in the base game. To bring it back to game development,

just generally did you always want to be sort of a game developer or did young

Jack pick up a N64 and was like "I want to do this"? So some people in the audience may be

able to sympathise to this, but my parents really hated video games when I was a kid.

When I wanted a SNES or an N64 they were like "No, games are gonna rot

your brain blah blah blah" all that sort of stuff, so when I was like four

five six when I think a lot of my peers had a game system in their house

at some point, I was banned from it. The only time I got to play games was

at my mates houses, but I think ironically that led me to want to

be involved with games more. Originally it wasn't games, it was more science and

tech, it was in the same ballpark but then I realized as I was doing my

A-levels I was like "How can I get this degree into video games?" I was like okay,

maybe I should consider that as a career option instead. A lot of

people persuaded me against it because like "Oh you're never going to get a job

in that industry it's so hard", a lot of people say the same about TV as well, but

as long as you're willing to persist and go to the correct events...

People say that all the time, but some people get jobs in...

Yeah, someone needs to do the job.

Now that you're in the games industry, you're working on MetaMorph,

hopefully working on Stronghold in the future and you said you've

only been here a couple of years, but I still want to know you Jack, what's your

happiest memory while you've been at the studio? Not just in general, I'm not your therapist.

Therapy & Chill. I think it'd be our first Christmas party back in 2016. We met a man called The Ram

as he self-described and he was just great to

talk to. It wasn't just that, it was the entire

night of meeting or meeting all the developers, meeting the people in QA,

meeting some of the people from America, it was kind of like really eye-opening

to see how many people and how much effort goes into these games. We may

be a small company, but we know how to focus our efforts and I think

we're a talented bunch to say least. To counteract that, to sour that,

what was your worst? Oh worst memory. I think it would have been, it was actually

in my first four or five weeks so I just joined and I would not call myself

or I wouldn't have called myself a hotshot programmer, wherever I am

now is up for debate, but back then I was very new to the industry and extremely

nervous, because obviously big opportunity getting your first permanent

job, it's kind of a huge thing to be involved in and so they sent me out to,

not many people may know this, but we actually have part of our company in

America, and I was sent out there for the week to familiarize

myself with some of the other MetaMorph programmers, mainly Tony.

And I was asked "Hey. why don't you make the health circles underneath enemies

kind of have an animation so when you attack it flashes up white with the

amount they've lost and then in spills back in so you get the

flash away and it shrinks back into the next amount" and I was struggling with

this really badly. I've done something, I've broken it and

we're going to continue meeting, I was "Oh no, I haven't done it yet, I'm

there I'm panicking and then I go home and about halfway through my bath I

stand up and I realized what I've got to do, so the following morning I go and

fix it, but I was it was just the sheer panic of my first few weeks.

It was beginner nerves in away,

I'd say that was my worst memory so to speak but it's

now resolved and we've improved from there. Yeah, I feel anyone can

sympathize with that, or any new company there'S

always those weird awkward first few weeks where you put way too much

pressure on yourself. Now that we've sort of raided your

memories of Firefly, if somebody came up to you and said "I want to get to

where you are right now, your exact position", in other words what would

you say to a younger you who's trying to get to where you are? So I think

specifically to a younger me, there are a couple of things I'd probably say.

First of all, whilst there is it an imperative reason to

get into the industry it's cool and all that, don't crush yourself with the

pressure of getting in. There are a lot of things you can do, like going

to game jams, going to various industry events, so [???] who are

two of bigger people in the industry to hold a lot of events where you can

meet devs, so even students get like a student membership

with a lot of university courses, yeah. So if you're starting in games and

you've got that membership, take advantage of it, meet these people,

they may be your future bosses, they may be your future colleagues, definitely

worth meeting up and helping them. If you're a programmer specifically like I was

aiming to be, program. That's about as much as I can say. There are going to

be times where you struggle, you don't

get something and people are like "Oh, I got this immediately," they probably didn't,

they're lying to you, they probably spent a lot of time sitting

down, figuring out, but it's just sitting down and pushing yourself to it that

does apply to other areas as well, but I'm not an artist, I'm colorblind,

don't let me do art, I don't do music - I'm not musician, I'm basically

tone-deaf, so again, programming was the only thing that was left for me, so that's what I

decided to pursue, but I appreciate it as much as I could, so put a lot of

effort into it ,but don't crush yourself or the pressure of doing it can be very

easy to stress yourself out and go "Oh no, I don't think I've done everything

correctly" just try as hard as you can. Again, to reel back from that serious game dev

talk, we'll get to know a little bit more about your music taste, so could

you tell everybody what your favorite musician of all time is?

I'd say I don't have a favorite musician of all time. I'm being pedantic, I know.

Some people are like "Oh, just answer the question," but I don't know a

favorite musician all the time. Currently my favorite musician is however Childish Gambino,

I've been listening to 'This is America', I've been very late to that train.

But I've been listening to it on rotation,

it's kind of amazing, really really well done, this video.

So again flipping back to

gamedev, we're back in the land of the professionals. I know

while you've been here you might have worked on a few projects,

mainly MetaMorph - Now on Steam, Early Access - but could you name us your

favorite Firefly title if you had one? So I actually, prior to my interview at

Firefly I bought a bunch of the games and started playing through them, I

think I do think Crusader HD is one of my more favorite games. I think

the thematicism of it, you're

talking about the Crusades and that is kind of quite a big portion of religious

history and it's quite interesting from that point of view, so that's kind of the

answer I'd go to. I mean really, this will shock a lot

of people, I'm an Age of Empires fan. We share the love. Every gamer

loves to know this about another gamer, what's your highest number of hours

played in any game ever? Can be with the Steam hours, pre-Steam, it can be an

estimate. This is I would like to say embarrassing, well I'm also proud of

it. Anyway, this actually came up as a conversation in the studio

a little while ago because we were talking about games and people talking

how much time they'd spend in Overwatch and so me and one of the team members

Andy started talking about MMO's. Now, I'm gonna reveal this, I played a lot of

Warcraft between the ages of 11 to 23, so a good 12-13 years, and I

recently went back for the recent expansion, so I had I actually had a good

chance to check recently. In the recent expansion I have put in, there are 24

hours a day, I put in 16 days. That's about 380 hours in the recent expansion,

give or take. Over the lifetime across all my characters I've put in, I want to

say close to 8500 hours, give or take,

into World of Warcraft. Which is both impressive and depressing at the same time,

considering some people use that time to get a PhD.

Losers. So we'll finish with this question: What are you doing at the end of this interview, Jack?

Oh, that's difficult. it is Friday night, I'm half tempted to go down to the pub,

but seeing as we'll still be at work I'll probably be working on what I'm

working on at the moment, with the intentions to possibly go to the pub

afterwards. So now that we've glimpsed into Jack's life, learned that he's an alcoholic...

I'm joking, I'm kidding. ... and the siege has failed, well my War Wolf is still going

strong, oh I'm just gonna march into his kingdom. Yeah, that's me done. We will

finish here. Firstly, Jack I want thank you so much for joining me today.

Thank you for having me, I really enjoyed talking about me. Yeah, I love talking

about myself. If you guys have any developers that you'd like to see in the

hot seat, although I've done most of them now, leave a comment below and let me

know and as always if you liked the video, make sure you leave a like and

So...

[INUDIBLE - MUSIC PLAYING]

BEHIND THE SCENES

When we finished filming for 'Rain and Tears', I turned to Jimmy and said:

JAMES DAWSON Director/Producer/Writer/D.P./Editor

'Do you have any other projects to develop in the following months ahead?'

He said: 'Well, actually, I do have one.' It's a music video called 'Roses and Thorns'.

When I first listened to the song, I was just astounded by its musicality.

We've just finished filming the music video 'Roses and Thorns'.

JIMMY Singer/Producer

The result will be extraordinary.

We actually stand here outside in the cold. My hands are freezing.

However, I hope it was worth it.

We're basically reconsidering the first music video we did.

The themes we're dealing with are more important than ever.

[INDISTINCT DIALOGUES]

I do remember Jimmy saying: 'This time, I'd like the audience to choose between two alternate endings'.

Basically, the video ends and the audience can choose which end could best fit the music.

I found it perfect. I recorded the conversation back then.

I came up with this extraordinary idea. We were coming back from our Radio Station...

- ...so we're going to make the return of 'Rain and Tears'. - Exactly.

- Let's see if we can do that. I do think so. - Today is October 31st. We'll see.

The fascinating aspect of this video is that Giacomo Celadin isn't the supporting singer anymore. He had a little cameo role.

Actress Irene Zanovello and Actor Riccardo Miatton are back again.

We filmed in the beautiful city of Este. Drones were used in Monselice for the singers sequence.

At one point, we'd been discussing about some lake areas for the video, but we didn't find them.

Then one day I received a photo of this gorgeous place.

Although almost all the scenes are filmed in a foggy environment...

...the use of the fog is simply something that helps to understand the purpose of the story.

(upbeat music)

- I think that one of the things

that makes Randolph-Macon so different than other colleges

in a positive way is the relationships

that you can build with your professors.

We're here to receive instruction and guidance

and expertise so that we can go on into the future

and become professionals.

The problem with that with so many colleges

is if you are in a classroom of 50 to 100 students

and you have a grad student teaching,

you really lose out on something special

which is the breadth of experience

that a faculty member might have.

Randolph-Macon is a closely knit community,

not only with faculty members, but with students.

And so I felt that Randolph-Macon was always an environment

where I could get out what I put in

and that the harder I work the more I would see

for my efforts.

Simplicity SRT vs Travato 59G | Affordable Assault Final | Best Affordable Class B Camper Van - Duration: 18:10.

It's the third and final match up and in this episode YOU will crown the winner of the Affordable

Assault.

4 great coaches have gone head to head in 2 semi final battles.

In our first match up two affordable Roadtrek models battled it out: The Zion SRT with its

sensible rear sofa/lounge layout and the Simplicity SRT with its permanent rear bed and its mantra

of "less is more".

The Simplicity SRT just barely eeked out a win over the Zion SRT to earn itself a place

in today's finals.

In our second match up one of North America's best selling class Bs, the Winnebago Travato

59G went head to head against one of the shortest camper vans here in North America the Axion

by Carado.

The Travato's laundry list of standard features and compelling price allowed it to triumph

over the very capable Axion.

Who will win today's Affordable Assault final?

We're going to find out as the battle between the Travato 59G and the Simplicity SRT starts

right now!

Hi everyone and thanks for joining me on Ultramobility Head2Head where RVs battle it out until there's

just one winner left standing.

I'm your host Neil Balthaser and today we're going to find out which coach earns its place

as the winner of the Affordable Assault: the Travato 59G by Winnebago or the Simplicity

SRT by Roadtrek.

Two great coaches by two great coach builders.

Across 3 rounds these two vans will battle it out with you the viewers deciding which

one earns the crown.

Since this isn't a review we won't be covering each and every feature only their differences.

So it's highly recommended that you watch the full review of each of these coaches before

watching this comparison series.

I'll put the links in the video description below.

Let's get round 1 started.

These coaches are going to go head to head comparing chassis specs, exterior detailing,

hookups, dimensions and capacities.

First off engine specs are evenly matched here because both coaches are built on the

Ram Promaster chassis.

All Promasters get the exact same engine: a 3.6L V6 gas engine with an automatic 6 speed

transmission that's capable of delivering up to 280HP and 260 lbs-ft of torque.

But, that SRT moniker in Simplicity SRT stands for short and that's because it is built on

the Promaster 2500 chassis which is the medium length Promaster chassis measuring 19' 6"

in length while the Travato is built on the longest Promaster 3500 chassis measuring 20'11"

in length.

That's a 1.5 foot difference in length which does make the Simplicity SRT slightly more

maneuverable and slightly easier to park.

How about exterior detailing and amenities?

Both are pretty clean looking with no swoopy graphics and subtle branding.

The Travato has a standard, stainless steel valance trim and an optional lighted running

board neither of which are available on the Simplicity SRT.

And the Travato has both its electrical and city water fill hookups located up high while

on the Simplicity SRT both are located down low on the back.

The Travato also has a standard electric awning as well as a standard exterior shower, exterior

service center lighting and exterior speakers.

On the Simplicity SRT the awning is manual, the exterior shower is optional and there

are no available exterior service center lights or speakers.

Moving on to occupant and cargo carrying capacity: The Simplicity SRT's rating is a healthy 1,595lbs

while the Travato's is 1,921lbs so about 300lbs more.

The Simplicity SRT's big strength this round is its shorter length but we're already seeing

that the Travato has more standard features - something that's likely to continue as we

advance to the second round.

In this round we're comparing layouts and checking off the features for the galleys,

lounges, bed rooms and bath rooms.

Will the Travato put its 1.5 feet of extra length to good use or will the Simplicity

SRT's "keepin' it simple" mantra win the day?

Let's find out!

Both the Travato and the Simplicity SRT come with two different floorplans.

The Travato 59G has a permanent lounge up front and a garage/bedroom in the back but

you can opt for the 59K's layout which has two twin beds and a large, rear permanent

bathroom.

On the Simplicity SRT there's a standard permanent rear bed and a front lounge or you can opt

for a rear sofa bed layout that gives you the flexibility of having both a lounge in

the front and the back.

Let's start off by comparing the bedrooms.

The 59G's bed measures 77"x46" so it's 5 inches longer but a whopping 14 inches less wide

than the Simplicity SRT's 72"x60" bed.

But that extra length on the Travato's bed is misleading because the end of the bed is

tapered and only the person sleeping on the driver's side benefits from the full length.

Both the beds on these coaches can be permanent meaning you don't have to set them up but

the Travato 59G's bed can be flipped up to give you pass-thru storage.

On the Simplicity SRT you have storage under the bed and that storage can be accessed from

both inside and outside the coach but there's no pass-thru storage since the bed is fixed.

The Travato's bed uses memory foam and is supported by the Froli sleep system - neither

of which are used on the Simplicity but honestly I didn't feel much difference between the

two beds.

One benefit the Simplicity has over the Travato is an optional 24" LCD TV in the bedroom.

The Travato's TV is located in the front lounge.

Speaking of which, the Travato has a second bed that can be setup in the front lounge.

That bed measures 72"x42" so nearly the same size as its rear bed - not quite wide enough

for 2 adults but large enough for one.

But surprise, the Simplicity SRT also has an optional front bed system that goes across

the front seats and measures 70"x33".

So fairly evenly matched it seems in the bedroom department with the Simplicity SRT having

the larger bed but no pass-thru storage like you have on the Travato.

Let's see how their lounges compare.

Both these lounges are located at the front of the van and both smartly utilize the swiveling

cab seats to transform the cab into a living area.

Both coaches feature a table for the lounge as well.

Setup is easy on the Simplicity SRT - just insert a pedestal table leg and pop the top

on.

BUT on the Travato there is no setup required since the table is permanent and the swivel

out extension is integrated.

Also the Travato 59G can seat 5 while the Simplicity SRT can only seat 2.

Keep in mind however that you can opt for the rear sofa/bed configuration on the Simplicity

SRT if having a larger lounge is important to you.

In that configuration the rear lounge can seat 4.

The TVs in both these coaches are placed in an unfortunate position.

In the Travato 59G it's mounted to the side and on the standard configuration of the Simplicity

SRT you have to swivel out the TV in the bedroom to watch it up front.

But the Travato's TV is a standard feature while it's optional on the Simplicity SRT.

As far as number of three-point seatbelts: Both the Travato 59G and the standard configuration

of the Simplicity SRT have only 2 3-pt seatbelts and those are for the cab seats.

But, if carrying 4 passengers in 3-pt seatbelts is important to you then you can opt for the

$1k rear sofa/bed configuration in the Simplicity SRT and gain two more 3-point seabelts - something

that's not possible in any Travato layout.

Okay time to move onto the galleys.

Even though the Simplicity SRT is 1.5 feet shorter than the Travato its galley is about

the same size.

It has a similar flip up counter extension, the same 2 burner propane stove and about

the same sized stainless sink.

The sink on the Travato however is a marine style sink which means that the faucet folds

down into it.

Sometimes marine style sinks have the problem that the faucet turns on when you close the

lid.

Something you won't have to worry about on the Simplicity SRT since it has a residential

style faucet.

The Travato however has a nice thick piece of Corian for the counter top while on the

Simplicity SRT the counter top is a laminate.

I like the window Winnebago put in their galley but the stainless steel backsplash on the

Simplicity SRT is both functional and looks great.

As far as storage, surprisingly the Simplicity keeps up with the Travato with just as much

under counter storage and while it doesn't have a cupboard above like the Travato it

does have a nice pull out pantry and a deep pots and pans drawer that the Travato doesn't

have.

The Travato does have a wardrobe closet next to the refrigerator but I wouldn't consider

that kitchen storage.

Both galleys feature a properly placed rooftop fan for ventilation and both coaches have

large compressor refrigerators that are placed at a sensible height but the Travato's refrigerator

is 1 cu. ft. larger at 6 cu. ft. and has a separate freezer AND its microwave is also

larger and doubles as a convection oven.

Finally the Travato features whole coach water filtration - standard - which the Simplicity

SRT doesn't offer.

Let's compare these coach's electrical systems.

They both have similar capacity AGM lead acid batteries but the Simplicity has a standard

inverter that's twice the Travato's size at 2000w.

BUT, the Travato comes standard with 200w of solar and a standard 2.8kw gas generator

as compared to the standard engine alternator that the Simplicity SRT uses.

And keep in mind that there is NO solar option on the Simplicity SRT.

Neither of these coaches feature multiplex wiring and while both can be upgraded to an

underhood generator only the Travato can be upgraded to the GL model that sports Winnebago's

Pure3 lithium system by Volta that gives you 8700wh or around 700ah of lithium, a beefy

underhood generator and a 3000w inverter.

That upgrade however will cost you somewhere in the neighborhood of $20k and that would

move the Travato out of the affordability zone BUT it's important to note that for folks

that absolutely want or need lithium, only the Travato offers a lithium upgrade path.

Its the standard AGM lead acid batteries or nothing on the Simplicity SRT.

Let's finish up this round by comparing bathrooms and tank sizes.

The Travato 59G has one of the largest bathrooms in the class b segment measuring 28"x51" It's

much larger and feels more open and spacious than the Simplicity SRT's.

Both these bathrooms are 3 piece wetbaths.

That means they both have sinks, toilets and showers and all three pieces share the same

area.

The Travato has a bit more storage with a medicine cabinet behind the toilet and a waterproof

bin under the sink.

The toilet paper holder on the Travato is also enclosed behind a waterproof door.

On the Simplicity SRT there are shelves in the wall with nice brushed metal stays to

keep items in place.

One thing missing on the Simplicity SRT is rooftop ventilation.

On the Travato there's a powered rooftop vent dedicated in the bathroom.

But the Travato also requires a pump to be turned on when using the sink or shower in

order to move the water from a temporary holding tank in the bathroom to the gray water tank.

That's an unnecessary nuisance not present on the Simplicity SRT.

As far as tank sizes: The Simplicity SRT just blows the Travato out of the water.

Its fresh water tank is 2/3 larger at 35 gallons to the Travato's 21.

Grey water capacity on the Simplicity SRT is twice the Travato's at nearly 23 gallons

compared to the 11g capacity on the Travato but the Travato has a meaningfully larger

black water capacity at 15g compared to the Simplicity SRT's 9.6g.

Both coaches have the same capacity of liquid propane at 5.9g.

The Simplicity SRT has a macerator pump system for emptying its tanks while the Travato relies

on the tried and true "gravity never fails" system.

The Travato has a standard black tank flush system which is missing on the Simplicity

SRT.

Okay that wraps up Round 2.

We're starting the third and final round and we're comparing options, build quality, price

and warranties.

Let's just get this out of the way up front: the Simplicity SRT has 6 times - 6 times!

the warranty length of the Travato at 6 years compared to the Travato's 1 year PLUS it offers

2 years of roadside assistance neither of which the Travato can match.

It cannot be understated how much of a huge win this superior warranty is for the Simplicity

SRT.

This warranty gap is surprising considering that a fully loaded Simplicity SRT that includes

Voltstart, Roadtrek's remote engine start system, an underhood generator, a 24 inch

LCD TV, exterior shower, side and rear screen doors and the rear electric sofa bed with

additional 3-pt seatbelts can be found online with dealer pricing around $75k while base

model Travato 59G's can be found for about $85k. that's a big $10k difference BUT keep

in mind that base model Travatos include a bunch of standard features that are not available

on the Simplicity SRT like: a larger refrigerator, a convection microwave, whole coach water

filtration, exterior speakers with service center lighting, a power awning, the excellent

Truma Combi heater and water heater system which provides ducted heating, a gas generator

and perhaps most significantly of all an interior fresh water tank with interior water lines

and available heating pads for the grey tank that make the Travato much more 4 season capable

than the Simplicity SRT. AND in additional to these standard features the Travato offers

a ton of optional features that are both affordable and not available on the Simplicity SRT like:

a bike rack for $1k, a ladder for $667, a roof rack for $1k, dual-pane acrylic windows

for $1,700 and a décor upgrade to high gloss cabinetry for $377.

Finally let's talk about fit and finish and build quality.

The Travato definitely has a higher fit and finish.

The cabinets feel more solid, the counter top in the galley is a thick piece of Corian

versus a laminate and in general the materials on the Travato look and feel nicer.

However, unlike the Travato the Simplicity SRT doesn't use stick framing and staples

behind the scenes to hold cabinets together.

And that wraps up our third and final round so now the time of judgment is upon us and

you get to vote and determine the winner of this final head to head Affordable Assault.

Is it Roadtrek's Simplicity SRT with its lower price, 6 year warranty and "simple-everything-you-need-and-nothing-you-don't"

philosophy.

Or is it Winnebago's Travato 59g?

A slightly higher priced coach that gives you a ton of standard features and options

not even available on the Simplicity SRT?

Vote now by heading on over to my Community Tab.

I'll put a link in the video description below or if you're on a computer just click the

little "i" icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen.

When the voting's complete and the poll is closed I'll let you know who I voted for!

And as always if you liked this head to head then you know what I'm asking you to do!

Give me a thumbs up, subscribe and hit that little bell to be notified when new head to

head comparisons come out.

And if you like honest comparisons like this - ones not sponsored by RV manufacturers then

a one time tip via PayPal or a regular pledge via Patron both help me out tremendously.

The links are in the video description below.

Okay that wraps up this Affordable Assault final.

Thanks so much for watching Ultramobility Head2Head where RVs battle it out until there's

just one winner left standing.

I'll see you next time everyone!

Take care!

Bye bye!

My aama aapa are rich so….

My aama tell me that .. Chhora you should

So you can settle abroad …

So many nepalese go, study and settle abroad …

In India…

But I was scared to come..

I told aama..

Aama I not go India..

Indian people are racist, they are judgemental

They will tell me I don't look Nepalese… I look Chinese …

When I come here I saw that…

Poona people are not that bad.. only

Khadki Dapodi people…little…

But other all poona … very nice

Yesterday my aama called me and

she asked me that Chhora how are you?

and how are the people..

I told my aama…

How judgemental everyone is.. They're still judging me…

But still they are nice people

Said, choose your comfortable language Sherpa

Yes mom..

Yes I'll pee before going to bed

And even though you might be find me handsome -

exotic stud types…

I too, am from here

We are 17 brothers and sisters… and…

No concept of parents.. Direct 17 siblings

17 siblings roaming all around the house

It feels like Marathi bigg boss is going on.

Because… Everyone is poor..

Everyone is unemployed

And no sex

And hence since my childhood ,

no one is helping me learn these things I'm interested in…

And how long will I keep learning from porn videos..

Such vast syllabus they've got

Every video contains whole new information.

And in 9th grade…

it's about time.. we learnt sex-ed.

Sir entered and started teaching us sex-ed.

I was happier than ever.

Sir exclaimed,

"Male part is androecium, female part is gymnasium." … that's it!

He didn't even specify it was flower reproduction.

Sir asked all the boys to head out towards the ground

Only girls will stay back in classroom.

"What the heck is this!"

I have also paid full fees.

I said to my sir, "Sir, I won't leave-

Even I have paid full tuition. I'll also sit and learn."

Then I asked sir, "Did you leave the classroom when your sex-ed happened ?"

Sir replied, "Yes . Now you too leave."

Then I said, "How will you teach then. You don't know what went down in the classroom then ."

On hearing this, sir gave me a rock solid beating.

I made it clear, "Sir , I'm a feminist-

If girls are in classroom , I'll also stay in classroom."

I'm a born feminist , It's not a new fad for me like you guys.

When sir heard about me being feminist ,

sir asked English teacher to join him and then..

Both of them hammered me to death.

Back to that day,

I headed home 'cuz my sex-ed was incomplete.

I decided to learn from my family.

So first of all I decided to approach my grandma

Because their every wrinkle has a story behind it.

There sat my grandma, reading a book of

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I explained her the scenario and that I needed some of her wisdom.

Grandma instantly agreed to share her knowledge.

I asked my grandma, "What does masterbhushan (masturbation) mean ?"

Granny straightaway answered,

"He was the brother of Raavan."

This meant that I was misled by my teacher in school.

Already he, along with English teacher gangb*ng me in front of whole class

and also misguided my knowledge !

Then I went to my father to complete my sex-ed journey.

There sat my dad in his room

doing nothing.

I asked my dad, "Daddy, what does condom mean?"

"It's a sacred thing. Join your hands first."

I joined my hands and said 'Now tell me. What is it ?'

Dad replied,

"Don't bother me , go ask your mom. I am busy.

I agreed .. although he wasn't doing anything except staring at a wall.

but… I wasn't ready for another beating again from my dad's belt .. so it's okay to leave him alone at this…

Then I went to my mom… Mom was busy in the kitchen.

She was frying something with a hot oily spatula in her hand.

I asked the same question to my mother, "Mommy, what does a condom mean ?"

Since my mother and father stay together,

she has cultivated the same habits as my father.

She too gives a same fixed answer for all things taboo .

"Condom causes death."

I got shit scared-

I've been doing it without condom since then.

NAVI x FC Shakhtar - Duration: 4:15.

So, shall we play?

Yeah, let's give it a try.

He's behind you.

On the right side, by the door!

132, how is that even possible?

He's got a rapid-fire gun, if you take a weapon yourself...

Press G. Yes, pick it up.

Now run away, you have to get out of here and hide inside a building.

He is somewhere near, he is waiting for you to come to this box.

But you shouldn't do it, you have to wait.

There he is!

Shakhtar team is at the NAVI office, and this collaboration achieved 1st place in just 5 games.

Now we're gonna have a short interview.

Hello, guys. Today our guest is Viktor Kovalenko, Shakhtar's player.

He's dropped by to play and get acquainted

because he's a Natus Vincere supporter, and we've prepared some interesting questions for him.

How did you come to know about NAVI? How long have you been supporting the team?

I've been following NAVI for about two years.

First I watched some videos and highlights on your YouTube channel.

Somehow I got in touch with Flamie, then Sanya s1mple and electronic;

also, I'm following Zeus and Edward on Instagram, but I don't know the two personally.

What other esports do you follow? Did you watch The International?

I'm not into Dota, really. I played it when I was a kid, but mostly I watch CS:GO and sometimes PUBG.

There's a lot of discussion going on about the recognition of esports as a sport. What's your take on that?

I'm absolutely on board with that, I think it's a real sport.

The FIFA video game and football go hand in hand, do you guys play it?

Sure! I once played against NAVI.Yozhyk, he simply destroyed me.

So yeah, we do play FIFA, we even arrange our own tournaments with the lads after dinner.

Do you have a prize to make things competitive or you just play for the fun of it?

Most of the times it's just for fun, but sometimes the person who places last pays for dinner.

Cool. Who's the best FIFA player in your team?

That would probably be Sergey Krivtsov.

But outside of our team, I think Oleksandr Zinchenko is the best at it.

You're facing the German team Eintracht in the round of 16 of the Europa League,

how do you assess your chances against them?

Well, every game starts off 0-0, so it's going to be a tough one because we know they're a very good team.

I think this will be an exciting match to watch.

I'm Alexey Kostylev, this is Viktor Kovalenko,

drop a like, hit the subscribe button and share this video.

If you are a CS:GO or a football fan, or just a passionate gamer, cheer for NAVI and Shakhtar.

- I wish you and your team good luck and more trophies to come. - Thanks.

I felt like, um, we needed to meet up 'cause I feel--

Si. Gracias.

So?

Okay like, um, I felt like we had to meet up

to talk about what happened.

Mm-hmm.

And I do wanna apologize.

But like, at the end of the day,

that wasn't my fault, though.

I feel like everyone was gaining up on me

like I'm the target.

You understand where our past comes from, right?

Yeah, of course.

You understand what our parents did, right?

All of this hostility is because no one believes you.

What was the badge about?

The badge is part of my mom's family.

My uncle. I'ma tell you the truth.

I don't know what you mean by "inside".

Meaning like they all was "affiliarted" with cops.

Like Stephanie, I know her dad got

like, short time in jail or something?

You know who Steph's dad is?

That's some (bleep) up (bleep).

You don't talk about somebody's time.

(Marie) I'm here to talk about how she almost

ruined Michael and I's Pure Blanco event.

But does this (bleep) think that I'm gonna sit here

and allow her to call my friend's father a snitch?

Because that's what she's implying.

You know that her dad got short time?

Mm-hmm.

How do you know that?

I just did my research, I don't know.

Wait, so you mean to tell me

that you took the time to go and do research

on-- on Stephanie's--

Yes, because just like she did research on me.

But you didn't bother doing research on yourself.

No, not really.

The fact that you don't even know your own story

but you know about Steph's dad doing short time,

that's some (bleep)-- first of all,

that's some (bleep) for you to be calling out her dad.

You don't even--

She's always calling me out.

You just proved to me everything.

And the fact that you took the time to do research

on her father, let me--

All right, let me tell you something.

Go do research on my dad. Go do research on my dad.

All right, let me ask--

Go do research on my dad.

All right, lower your--

(bleep) bitch!

Don't--

Don't scratch me!

Come here, bitch!

Let me (bleep)-- Rip your (bleep) head off.

That's some (bleep) up (bleep).

What the (bleep) is wrong with you?

Like, (bleep), bitch.

Oh, she got balls.

Can't hide, bitch. We'll find you, ho.

(Stephanie) Is that my stage?
