Aprender faz parte da nossa vida, então não importa se você tem 28, 58 ou 108 anos. Você é sempre capaz de aprender algo novo.

Então, aí está o ponto – para mim, claro.

E se há alguma diferença entre o inglês que aprendemos no Brasil e o inglês aprendido na Irlanda, ou outras partes do mundo.

e fiz um estágio (intercâmbio) em Nova Iorque, por 4 meses. E eu penso que é completamente diferente aprender inglês no Brasil e

e em qualquer outro país do exterior. Porque quando você estuda no exterior, você está mais em contato com a língua...

E você deve concordar comigo nisso... porque aqui você está sempre em contato com a língua; as escolas são diferentes.

Sabe, é diferente: quando você aprende em uma escola no Brasil – e aqui também – você sempre aprende passo a passo.

Isso é realmente importante. Mas na vida real você não aprende assim. Você apenas fica repetindo, e o sotaque aqui na Irlanda

é realmente difícil. Então eu vim com um inglês melhor e sofri muito porque não entendi nada do que eles estavam falando.

Então, eu acho que é diferente. – Sim. – E você?

– O "sotaquê" aqui... – O sotaque. – "Sotaquê"? – Sotaque.

– O sotaque aqui é totalmente diferente de outros lugares por exemplo. – Sim!

Eu podia me comunicar e entender algumas pessoas – porque aqui, como eu disse, o sotaque é muito pesado.

Mas eu não vim com um inglês fluente. E eu ainda não tenho um inglês fluente. Eu consigo me comunicar mas ainda cometo erros.

Enfim, o que eu acho é que há muitas oportunidades de trabalho aqui na Irlanda – mesmo se você não tiver o inglês.

Mas o que eu penso e o que eu sugiro a você. Se você puder estudar inglês antes de vir, para se dar melhor...

– Um pouco. – Só um pouco.

Só para se dar melhor em uma entrevista, e ser capaz de responder as perguntas do empregador. Sabe, coisas básicas.

– Só para você entender...

– Sim. Um pouco. – Um pouquinho mesmo.

Então é melhor vir com pelo menos um pouquinho de inglês. É claro, se você vier zerado, e você for... não sei (learn on the go)

– É bem melhor. Aqui está uma prova. Ele veio sem inglês algum. – Nenhum inglês. Nenhuma palavra em inglês.

Tipo até mesmo "olá, como vai?", "meu nome é"... era realmente o início do início do início. E agora estamos gravando em inglês.

– Então, vocês podem perceber. – Agora eu consigo entender, falar. É ok!

E quais são os melhores meses para se viajar a turismo na Irlanda?

Ai meu Deus, ok. Teve uma vez que meu gerente me perguntou: "Netto, nós temos chá no depósito?"

"Sim, eu tenho... nós temos". Eu vou lá, e pego um café. Quando eu chego... "Ok, aqui está", "Não, eu preciso de chá – não café".

"Ah meu Deus... ok..." Porque eu nunca entenderia... quando eu comecei a trabalhar. Até entenderia, mas era difícil para mim.

– Sim, claro. – E no "iniciante"?

– No início. – No início... começando a trabalhar. Mas agora entendo tudo!

E até hoje em dia, alguns "bloopers" ainda acontecem comigo. Semana passada, estou trabalhando em um Bar Café agora, e o

cara me pediu um Club Orange (Drink de Laranja). Mas ele estava falando todo "mmuh mmuh" e eu entendi "um aperitivo".

Então eu cheguei com um chocolate e ele olhou para mim do tipo "Idiota... eu não pedi um chocolate, eu pedi um Club Orange"

Daí eu: "Oh, desculpaaaa". Mas "bloopers" sempre acontecem. – Comigo, o tempo todo. Sério toda semana, todos os dias!

– É normal. – É normal, exatamente.

E o melhor mês para viagem de turismo na Irlanda, para mim é o verão. Durante junho, julho e agosto é muito legal.

– Porque tem sol. – Sim.

Stefferson quer saber como foi para você desistir de sua carreira como ator para poder se mudar para a Irlanda.

Eu não tive uma "carreira" no Brasil como ator. Eu consegui alguns trabalhos na área mas nunca uma carreira, "carreira", no Brasil.

Então foi ok. Aqui nós temos oportunidade também de recomeçar a atuar mas nós nunca "pursued" disso. Então, tá tudo bem.

Suamita Campos quer saber, ela sabe que nosso inglês era básico, qual foi o seu maior medo e como você o superou no trabalho?

Ok. O maior medo para mim sempre foi entender e falar em inglês, porque eu não falava inglês algum antes. Nada, nada.

– Então o seu maior medo era falar e entender... – Sim, falar e entender...

– Viver! – Viver!

E como você fez para superar "overcome" (não sei em inglês), "overcome" seus medos?

No dia a dia. Porque quando você está aqui é mais fácil. Você entende, você fala. A cada dia que passa você aprende palavras.

Você precisa ser forte – este é o segredo. Precisa pensar: ok, isto é um processo, dentro de alguns dias, meses ou ano, melhorarei.

– Então, para mim, este é o segredo. Se há algum segredo. – E as pessoas sabem que você não fala inglês.

Sim, as pessoas sabem que você é um estrangeiro. Então elas não esperam que você fale um inglês muito bom.

– E a última pergunta, da Bruna Romero, Netto... Luz Própria... – Bruna!

Você é de uma cidade extremamente pequena, diferente da que você vive hoje, qual foi sua maior dificuldade de adaptação?

Ah meu Deus, 100% o clima. Porque minha antiga cidade é muito quente e aqui é frio demais. Completamente diferente, ok.

Na minha cidade antiga eu nunca peguei um ônibus. Porque é uma cidade pequena e eu tinha um carro. Aqui eu pego, é normal aqui.

– Sim, é isso. Sim. – Esta foi sua principal dificuldade.

É claro que o inglês também, mas nós falamos sobre isso antes.

E esta é a nossa maneira de lhes inspirar a esquecer a timidez ao falar inglês. Pois é parte do processo de aprender inglês bem.

Quando você está aprendendo inglês, você precisa falar. Eu sei que às vezes você se sente tímido "as pessoas estão me julgando,

pois falam melhor do que eu", mas isto é ridículo. É um processo e você precisa ser "confident" para dizer "ok, não me importo".

"Meu inglês é assim mas eu preciso tentar". – Sim! – Você precsa tentar, então...

When Brittany is not planning surprise parties, she stays busy with the couple's four children: Rylen, Bowen, Baylen and Callen.

Brittany spoke about the importance of their entire family giving back to the community given how much Drew means to New Orleans.

"I think at one point Baylen came home and said someone was asking him at school, and then he was the first one where someone asked for his autograph because of the Super Bowl," Brittany said per The Advocate.

"It actually upset me because the thing is they're not famous…That's really where you set the standard.

You have this platform and you have this amazing ability to make this world a better place, and that's what you're called to do.".

Brittany Threw a Suprise 40th Birthday Party After a 2019 Saints Playoff Victory.

Brittany was able to pull off a surprise party in honor of Drew's 40th birthday just hours after the Saints defeated the Eagles in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

The party featured cocktails with childhood pictures of Drew, hats with the number 40 on it and a star-studded guest list.

Drew spoke about his surprise in an Instagram post thanking Brittany.

"So my beautiful wife pulls off the best surprise birthday party ever last night after the game…so many special people there to celebrate.

Appreciate you all!" Drew posted on Instagram.

The party included a number of celebrities including Saints coach Sean Payton and musician Trombone Shorty.

Drew shares a birthday with his son Baylen who apparently celebrated as well based on a later Instagram post.

Drew and Brittany are no strangers to community service, and are very involved in giving back to New Orleans.

Their latest project looks out for children who may not be able to access some of the other playgrounds in the area.

WGNO ABC-New Orleans describes the Audubon Park playground the Brees funded.

The unique design offers a welcoming environment for children with mobility challenges, including playground equipment accessible for people who use wheelchairs.

In addition, the design presents a variety of features that provide sensory engagement and promote the development of motor skills.

  The playground also creates opportunities for children who don't face these kinds of challenges to connect with peers of different backgrounds and abilities—an experience that experts say can foster empathy along with social and emotional skills that can last a lifetime.

There are benefits for adults, too.

For parents and grandparents who face mobility challenges, the new playground is built to encourage cross-generational play, a key to building strong family ties.

Drew spoke to Saints.

com about the idea behind the playground.

"My wife and I funded it personally, and it was significant," Drew explained to Saints.com.

"But we wanted to do it right and we wanted to really give something to New Orleans that we felt like it didn't have already.

That was a fully inclusive playground.

Again, I think that's the most important element to this that this is a playground for children of all abilities.

We built it very specifically with wheelchair ramps, and certain things in mind to make sure that no child is excluded here.

That there's something here for every child.".

Hurricane Katrina Played a Role in Drew Signing With the Saints in 2006.

It is natural now to think of Drew as one of the best quarterbacks in the league, but it was not always that way.

The Chargers released the quarterback in 2006, and the Saints gave Drew an offer.

It was just six months after Hurricane Katrina had devastated New Orleans, but the couple believed they could play a role in helping rebuild the city.

"We chose New Orleans because we felt like we could do something special down here," Drew explained to CNN.

"We leaned on each other in so many cases.

As people are trying to rebuild their homes, rebuild their lives, they're still coming to games to cheer on the Saints because it just gives them so much energy and enthusiasm … just this feeling that we're all in this together.".

The family got to work right away as their foundation partnered with Operation Kids to help rebuild youth facilities in the area including academic centers, parks, playgrounds and after-school programs.

While Drew gave both his time and money to help New Orleans, he admitted to ABC's Robin Roberts (via The Times-Picayune) that it was the city that saved him.

There were so many emotional moments along the way, just because we knew this was about an overall recovery; an overall resurrection of this city, of this community, of a spirit.

I needed somebody to believe in me just as much as New Orleans needed someone to believe in them.

In so many ways, New Orleans not only saved my football career, but for me as a person.

Drew Met Brittany When They Were Attending Purdue, But the QB Needed a Little Liquid Courage to Approach Her.

Things did not go so smoothly when Drew first met Brittany at a college party.

Drew was a sophomore at Purdue, and detailed their first exchange to ESPN the Magazine.

"I made a real fool of myself when I first met her," Brees told ESPN the Magazine.

"It was when I was a sophomore.

It was my 20th birthday and I'd had about 17 shots and put my foot in my mouth.

It was a typical football player cheesy line — we'll leave it at that.

It took me six months to get the courage to talk to her again.

I finagled my way to get invited to a party that I knew she'd be at.".

Months later the couple finally went on their first date, but they were also joined by some of Drew's Purdue teammates.

Brittany recounted their first date to ESPN the Magazine.

"So he asked me out, and all my girlfriends wanted to come with," Brittany told ESPN the Magazine.

"You know, because he was That Guy Who Had Made Such a Fool of Himself.

So he brought some of his football friends and we went to the movies.

And his friends started throwing Gummy Bears at the screen!".

The Couple Has 4 Children & Their Youngest Child Was Born in 2014.

"Trump is discussing withdrawal from NATO," says the frightening American headline in The New York Times.

No, so far it didn't say "from Putin's orders", but Russia, of course, is mentioned.

It seems that the Democrats have invented a new horror story for the American electorate.

This is exactly how it can be interpreted through a serious publication on the topic of how

the US President is discussing the country's withdrawal from the NATO bloc the US itself created.

In the first sentence... not even the full sentence, but in the first ten words,

if we count the beginning text of the publication, they mention...

Putin.

I think you understand in which tone.

There are few things that President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia desires more than the weakening of NATO,

the military alliance among the United States, Europe and Canada that has deterred Soviet and Russian aggression for 70 years.

Last year, President Trump suggested a move tantamount to destroying NATO: the withdrawal of the United States."

In this "insider", the newspaper refers to unnamed "high-ranking officials of the administration",

who reported on several statements about the withdrawal from NATO made by Trump in private conversations in 2018.

After numerous references to the actions of the head of the United States, aimed at knocking out defense expenditures from European vassals,

The New York Times bluntly writes:

"The president's repeatedly stated desire to leave NATO is raising new worries among national security officials

amid growing concern about Mr. Trump's efforts to keep his meetings with Mr. Putin secret even from his own aides,

and an FBI investigation into the administration's Russia ties."

Bingo, basically. Trump's communication with the Kremlin can be considered proven.

In fact, of course, the actions of the head of the White House are fully explained by domestic political and psychological motives.

My friend and colleague Ivan Danilov remarked on this issue that Trump behaves exactly the same as he did when concluding his business deals.

"The negotiating position of the American leader boils down to the following principle, which he honed since his work in the field of New York real estate:

Trump has to receive all (that's all) possible benefits, otherwise the transaction will not take place,

despite all the likely losses for Trump himself.

Such a cowboy approach can sometimes work in business, when you can again and again move away from deals,

hoping to eventually find a weak partner, investor or client who can be bent to the fullest.

In geopolitics, such an approach does not work - the planet is too small, and weak-minded fools among planetary and even regional politicians is very small.

There exists a serious likelihood that such an uncompromising and, if you call things by their real name,

this goon approach will ultimately lead to NATO's actual collapse,

from one side, Germany and France are working hard to create a "European army",

but the President of the United States may in actuality decide that the best way to solve a problem is to loudly slam the door."

Yes, Trump's psychology can't be discounted.

But the matter, I believe, is not only in it.

It's important to not forget what kind of power group represents the head of the USA.

These are isolationists from among the tycoons attached to real production.

They do not need all these American bases scattered around the planet.

Because these bases are devouring resources and giving support to the opponents of isolationists - the globalists.

The best way to undermine the position of globalists is to deprive them of the opportunity to interfere in the affairs of other states.

No, the isolationists themselves don't mind robbing someone, but now they see that the USA has been weakened, and the robbery has ceased to succeed.

And that means - they need to abandon it, at least for a while.

Refuse it in order to save money and regain strength. That is, globalists want to play the old way, raising interest rates on borrowed money from the Federal Reserve System.

The isolationists however understand that there is no place to inflate the stakes further - you can even lose everything.

This is where Trump's tough position on the EU arises: either give billions to defense -

that is, pay for the maintenance of NATO's military machine in Europe, or walk into the forest.

The European Union clearly demonstrates that it is not planning to pay. And that is why the US withdrawal from NATO is a very real perspective.

No, this is not "orders from Putin."

Yes, it is beneficial to Russia. But it is also beneficial to the USA themselves.

But not for the fattened from two world wars, global America which as a result rattled the Middle East and overstrained itself.

But the one inhabited by the notorious rednecks, residents of the American heartland.

They don't need these wars, because from there they send home coffins wrapped with stars and striped flags,

as well as disabled people placed on painkillers.

Basically, ready drug addicts.

And they need them to work again in the factories of General Motors and Ford,

so that American companies do not destroy jobs in the interests of global business and stuff like that.

That is, the interests of the isolationist Trump and his "support group" in this completely coincide with the interests of ordinary Republican voters.

I suspect that they are not against putting up the "iron curtain" and building walls - and not only with Mexico, but also with Canada as well.

Do they need this NATO hanging weight on their leg?

They don't. But the blame on why America has screwed up in its aggressive foreign policy,

is of course, as you know, because of Putin.

For infantile people, there is always someone else who is guilty, but only not themselves.

Look After Yourself (Ep 1) - Work Boots - Duration: 5:41.

All about you

Episode 1- Boots.

I talk a lot

about marketing and sales and systems

and hiring and firing

but you run your business

and you're responsible for growing it and growing it profitably

and no one's going to do that for you, are they?

So let's talk specifically

about looking after you, that's coming by it's all about you.

I'll talk about managing you and managing your time and your priorities and yourself and your

diary in other videos. I want to talk for the next few

about looking after yourself. You're important, you're important to your business

and all these videos talk about that and looking after yourself so you make more money and so you make

better decisions is important and all those things are true.

But you're also important because you're important to you

and you're important to your mom and you're important to your family

as well as to the business and to kind of work responsibilities.

Looking after you is important for its own sake as well. You don't want to feel sh*t you don't want to be

unhealthy, all that kind of stuff.

There's more to life than work and being successful so we need to look after ourselves.

Let's start. Let's start from the bottom with our boots.

How long do yours last?

When I was young about 25,

in my first job, I wasn't wearing boots, I was wearing shoes because it was a suit. I was working in sales in

the IT industry and someone told me something about shoes and this guy said,

"You know the reason shoes wear out quickly, the reason mostly that they die on you,

is because they stay damp, your feet sweating all day and then you put them on again the next day

and there's still a bit damp and of course in a damp environment bacteria and bugs live

so they're never dried out properly so these bacteria and bugs live in your boots in the leather

or the other stuff, in cotton linings and stuff and they eat it

so your boots get basically rot from the inside. The linings and the leather

start to get eaten away and they lose their shape and they lose their stiffness

and eventually you're throwing them away

and know that they stink.

The answer to this was I was told,

buy two pairs, wear them on alternate days (this gives in time to dry out)

which means the bugs don't live

which means then they don't get to breed and grow

and all that, they die every night so your boots will last considerably in longer days,

more than twice as long because you have two pairs.

It was a good tip. Another time. I remember thinking when I was told this

who knew? I didn't know .

Now I do and here we go I'm telling you, your welcome,

buy two pairs wear them every other day, they'll last you much longer.

So there's a business lesson coming. I remember

being told this and realising that I didn't know

and the world (I'm sure your world is full of stuff you don't know).

You don't know what you don't know either (there's no cliche there).

You don't know what you don't know until someone comes along and tells you

here's the thing you didn't know

and you've lent it and then you do know. And that's okay. I don't think we should be feeling bad here

for what we don't know.

I don't want you to feel bad for what you don't know but what I do want to say to you is

your role in your business has changed somewhere and most of my business coaching clients

are well educated in the technical side of your business in your trade.

They have the technical skills. You keep yourselves up-to-date on the regulations on new tools or new

technologies or new ways of doing things.

But now your role is changing and you're moving more into

being a business owner than a trade person, you need to remember

to keep yourself up to date on the business stuff as well. Don't be surprised

(I'm talking about business because I'm a business coach). It would be a shock if I didn't win it.

So it's important for you to keep yourself

to learn these new things for about marketing and about digital marketing and social media marketing

and specifically how to market your business,

about sales and how to do that properly,

about how to have systems, about how to use technologies in the office as well as on site,

about how to manage people and lead people properly and set a culture and hire and fire well,

all that stuff. This stuff you need to do and learn.

And guess what, that's what I teach. That's what I help with in my programs.

Those shocks (no sh*t Jon).

But that's good. I've put these stuff together. I've made that my job to put this together

in a way that you can use it quickly

and easily and put it into practice in your business.

A business coaching program like mine isn't the only place you can learn stuff, of course

it's not, I went and learned it somewhere. I didn't just make it all up.

I've learnt in books, and on courses, and online, and all sorts of other places. You can do that

but you can come to my place, and my course and my program.

Learn more quickly and more importantly

put it into practice in your business which is the point. The point of learning this stuff

is to put it into practice and implement it in your business and make your business better

and make your performance in your business better.
