Can Exercise Cure Depression | A Reddit Controversy - Duration: 9:53.

Hey guys it's Jesse from Solpri and I wanna talk about something that happened

yesterday there was on reddit a user who posted this particular photo in the get

motivated subreddit and all hell broke loose

with the redditors some cynical backlash about this particular photo now

on the surface I saw it and thought okay makes perfect sense like you know we use

food feel to good when we have anxiety and then exercise is known to improve our mood so it's an

antidepressant but most of the people in the thread actually were talking about

clinical depression and how you know using exercise simply wasn't going to

cut it so I thought you know maybe I'm wrong maybe this maybe is actually

speaking to something entirely different and it's not just talking about the

average person that maybe has some lethargy. So I wanted to know is there

any credence to can exercise cure depression. My plan originally was

actually show you the reddit thread but I think because of all the vitriol

in the comments that the mods might have actually deleted it that or I just

suck at finding things on Reddit so off to Google Scholar we go to look for

some research the most conclusive study I've found and was this one and I'll

have all these studies in the description in the description I'll put

the links there and you can pull up the studies yourself. This is the most

conclusive study I found it actually had to do with older patients so people over

the age of 50 both man and women they're split into three groups people doing

aerobic exercise which there are other studies that have shown that's useful

people taking an antidepressant and then a combination of both the medication and

exercise and they did this regimen that they set up for 16

weeks and the self-reported scores actually all changed statistically

significantly and none of the groups actually showed a difference between each

other meaning that exercise actually did prove to be just as effective as

medication over that sixteen week period or I guess at the end of the sixteen

week period. Interestingly though the group that was only taking medication

responded faster like they started to feel better faster than the people that

were doing exercise only or the people who were taking medication and

exercise so that might be something interesting to kind of like get somebody

to study in the future so we know that there's some positive results there but

you know what other studies could have find. So I found this one as well this

one actually pertained to undergraduates you'll find most research is done on

undergraduates because they're willing and able body of research

participants because research is often done on University campuses and there's

lots of students around and typically there's some kind of fee or money paid

or class credit or something involved in research so this group undergraduates

like we would expect broken into two different groups aerobic exercise and

they are swimming and non-aerobic exercise some weight training so go to

the gym and lifting and they found that there was no difference between the

groups in terms of effect and that there was a positive effect that the exercise

again showed an improvement in self-reported depression so it's kind of

important to remember that it is self-reported you know psychology as a

discipline is fairly young so it's a little hard for us to know how to

quantify absolutely everything and that means that a lot of things are going to

be self-reported which is a little bit more murky because we're you know we're

working inside your own mind to try to quantify these things on paper one thing

I did see I was curious about was you know it is

there anything that could show exercise and increase in depression or you know

any other kind of links so I found a different study. This one actually

pertained to a small group of what they refer to as compulsive exercisers 20

pros and 51 regular like regular Joes that they consider is compulsive I can

couldn't find here in their abstract what they're actually defining as

compulsive but we're going to assume they're working out a lot and they

actually found that among those compulsive exercises there's actually

very high ratings of anxiety and depression even more so for the

professionals. What I'd like to know with this particular study and and with

you know the people in particular is you know are they depressed because they're

working out to such excess or are they working out to such excess to try to

self-medicate because there is some kind of positive effect with you know

exercise like you've seen the other other couple studies I've shown you the

whole causation correlation problem here is that we don't know if the depression

is caused by something underlying that has nothing to do with exercise or if

the exercise is the actual cause itself but we do see that there's some kind of

correlation with these compulsive exercisers and depression now we've seen

these things okay yes we can say they have a positive effect but can we say

that it actually cures depression? I'm not quite ready to call that one I know

I guess coming back to this study with the over-exercisers I know I

personally experienced a lot of anxiety when I was bulking up my mileage in the

pool I wanted to be a professional triathlete

so that involves lots of time in the pool lots of lots of exercise 7 days a week

multiple times a day and I bulked up too fast so I got to the point when I

just I just got this feeling of dread every single time I went to the pool and

sit on the sidelines waiting to get in not wanting to get in just being anxious

and you know I tried to talk to you know previous coaches about it and I don't

think they quite had this scope of what was going on because they kind of

thought about I just you know afraid of it being cold or or you know trying to

write it off as something else that I don't think it was negligence on their

part I think it's really just a matter of ignorance that they wrote it off but

I will say I had to cut my mileage back from I was doing about 20,000 kilometres (should be "meters")

a week in the pool back to about 10 and that alleviate a lot of my personal

symptoms so for me it was a causation thing, but clearly just anecdotal I'm you

know case of one so not gonna be applicable to everybody you know the

ultimately I think what we can say is that there's some positive effect with

exercise and feeling better I think definitely with my original

thought with that with the image you know that somebody who just says average

lethargy like doesn't feel very good but is not clinically depressed

which is different than just you know feeling depressed or feeling down that

exercise definitely is gonna have a positive effect and you know change the way you

feel about yourself and then we probably are going to get some good effects for people

that have clinical depression but you know the mind is a fickle thing and we don't

have it all down to a perfect science yet so you know I personally think

there's zero shame in treating clinical depression with medication if that is

what's going to be effective for you so that you can live

you know happier healthier life absolutely

no reason not to explore that because you know you you know as kind of

Providence of being alive I feel like you should take advantage of the

opportunity you have of you know kind of being in the world and engaging the

world and contributing experiencing the best that life has to offer whether that

means that exercise helps you or medication helps you or a combination

thereof. So I say no we don't know yet that exercise can actually cure

depression but there are some positive there are some positive indications that

it should help. If there's other studies you've seen you'd like to share with me

leave them in the comments below I'd love to check them out if you like this

video don't forget to hit the subscribe button as I talk more about exercise

athletes and kind of mental mindset of being an athlete and getting the most

out of life I'll see you next time

Silicon, everyone is talking about it, but you do not know exactly what it is

nor what is it for?

This is magic, it's a a trace element essential to our body,

indispensable for the whole body at the level muscles, skin, bones, cartilage,

joints, tendons, vessels Blood ...

Silicon stimulates fiber formation collagen and maintains hydration

fabrics, which is particularly indicated to tone and firm the skin.

It also enters the structure of the keratin to densify the hair and make

the less brittle nails. Finally, he participates in the mineralization process

bones, since it helps to better fix calcium, ultimately bringing more mobility

and flexibility. Unfortunately the body We do not manufacture it, we can only absorb it,

then store it. Silicon, an anti-aging asset for your

skin and your joints Silicon is a trace element that stimulates

collagen production and remineralizes bones. Ideal for skin, joints

and the skeleton.

You will ask me or find him

Sachets of silica gel, or silica gel, can be found in shoe boxes,

electronic devices or clothing are not poisonous or lethal, d

after what we have always been told: present undeniable advantages for our health

and our daily life. Indeed, they can be reused in various situations.

But of course Silicon is mainly found in

drinking water

you suffer from osteo-articular problems, we can complete his diet.

But beware, dietary supplements are to take in cures of three weeks,

with a ten-day break, to put the kidneys at rest before initiating a new

: take a teaspoon every mornings of a powder that mixes plants

rich in silicon always cure. In your head you wonder if you have to

of Organic silicon or mineral silicon?

Know that organic or mineral, the effectiveness silicon is similar: once assimilated

in the intestine, silicon operates in its mineral form, rid of its

carbon. Today only three chemical forms

of silicon are accepted in cosmetics and in dietary supplements. he

it is liquid silica, solid silica) and silicic acid gel.

I put some products in descriptive

The silica gel sachets are filled transparent beads of silicon dioxide,

or silica gel, able to absorb moisture and protect new products in packages.

This substance can be put in contact with food without causing the slightest

risk. If it is recommended not to to eat is because the pellets represent

like any small object a risk choking for the children. Dioxide

Silicon can absorb some of the water contained in their stomachs, just drink

abundantly to not feel the effects. Many utilsations Gel sachets

silica can save time, energy and money. Their

absorbency allows to dry quickly any object, such as a smartphone

dropped in the toilet for example. the misting of a windshield or preserving

razor blades rust. They allow also to eradicate molds

in sports bags, I advise you to put as much as you can under the

bed ca avoids the development of batteries microbes and molds, and will limit

smells of sweat. In the shoes that smell, Protect your jewelry from moisture

room. Protect your condiments, sorrows, cookies, chips, croquettes, your

drugs, for short animals avoids them to soften, to take from. Humidity

If there's other studies you've seen you'd like to share with me

leave them in the comments below I'd love to check them out if you like this

video don't forget to hit the subscribe button as I talk more about exercise

athletes and kind of mental mindset of being an athlete and getting the most

out of life I'll see you next time

this video is gonna be longer than my usual video so I'm gonna try and split

it up we are gonna do heels we're gonna do sneakers slash trainers we're gonna

do boots we're gonna do flats everything will be time-stamped below

also if I can still find any of these if they're not too old then I will also

link those below too heels let's get it starting off with these glorious

Aquazzuras they are in a fabulous grey velvet I love these I love the embellishments

it's such a neutral color so it's so easy to pair with everything these are

very simple but very sexy looking Alaïa shoes actually my mum gave me these

because I think they were too big for her so it's a win of these awesome

Charlotte Olympia lilac pumps very like Katy Perry circa not that many years ago

you know the kind of vibe I'm talking about I actually wore these to my

graduation and as I was like getting my degree all I thought in my mind was

Cassie you cannot fall you cannot look this fabulous from the ankles down and

fall guess what it's never felt so the Prada flames

they are fire aren't they fire emojis all over the shop these I got for

Christmas not last year the year before and these just give me sort of like

Miami prostitute vibes but in very chic way I'm here for it I also

love the cobalt color just as a bit of a pop these are still my most comfortable

heels ever these are Miu Miu I got these actually for my like prom when I was 18

and I was feeling fire in them and I was killing it so these are some gold very

simple Sergio Rossi pumps in a patent leather and I just think that these are

very ladylike for me aren't they are you surprised I need to know down below

which which shoes you're most surprised by because let me tell you there will be

some shockers in here but yeah she's just very ladylike she's very elegant

very not me these Alexander Wang mock croc sandals

fun fact me and my mom have the same pair not ashamed these are not new on my

channel if you've been on my channel for long these are my trashy clubbing shoes

when I was clubbing when I was like 18 and 19 these Louboutins these are just

on the subject of Louboutins what annoyed me is that I wore these

clubbing when I was like 19 and some poured wine on my sudden toes so I had

to get these professionally cleaned and even then even then if you look closely

enough you can still see a little bit for stain and I am really still very

little about that these are questionable okay there's a Nicholas Kirkwood they're

very Marie Antoinette they're very let them eat cake I mean I really don't

really know what to say about this I really don't know why I bought these

they were on sale and maybe that's the issue just a classic just an absolute

classic these are Manolo Blahnik I mean look at how look at how delicately made

they are okay these are fabulous I love the lime green again pops of color here

and there let's get it Stuart Weitzman Nudist sandals I think every

girl should own a pair of these they are again such a classic shape these I have

in the like glittery silver gold moment such a great evening shoe on a similar

trip these are kind of the hooker versions of the one I just showed you

because they have a platform to be honest I really don't wear these as much

as those at all I don't know if the platform makes it look like less cute

these I call my Lara Croft shoes okay because these this is badass okay this

is a woman that is not to be messed with these are Versace and they are just they

are just powerful just powerful in a shoe Stuart Wiseman lace-up sandals are

just they are one of those versatile shoes that literally go with everything

and you get a little bit of the lace-up so you know she's a little bit she's a

little bit unexpected in a little bit you know a little bit cute and crazy

these I got for my 21st birthday from my parents shout out to the parents thank

you these are Guiseppe Zanottis with this metal snake at the front

these are cute the Casadei blade platform pump Wow I mean this is just a

tiny needle that you are balancing on and but do you know what she just looks

fabulous so she's probably like that black widow spider that you know like

seduces little male spiders in and then kills them this is this shoe these are

some of my designated summer shoes this is a cute summer wedge we have a little

bit of yellow-y python at the back there these are by Barbara Bui and

I don't know again we have a little colored color pop she looks great with denim by

oh geez I love these shoes and they go with so

much more than you would think is a such a statement shoe have you seen the

spikes at the front have you seen them do not play games with her probably my

most sensible pair of shoes are these Versace court shoes listen we have to

keep it a little bit you know some something with the Medusa on the back

here but these are probably you know my very work appropriate simple stylish

elegant grown-up adulting shoes you know trainers slash sneakers arguably my

favorite category my Alexander McQueen oversized sneaker whatever they're called

they have a really fun exciting name in the like the blush pink at the back they

are great and there's a reason why these are so popular my Gucci ace crystal

sneakers listen I talk about these all the time I'm obsessed with them so glad

I got these do not be put off by the crystals people they go with everything

the crystals just give a little bit of extra little bit of

extra sass okay so you probably have never seen these

because I never show them because I got these Tweed Chanel trainers which are

very not me yeah I bought them a half a size smaller than I am so I get a little

bit of toe cripple towards the end of the day but I really just mainly use

these for work okay just a classic and Gucci high-top in the black I love her

with leggings and an oversized sweater oh what casual chic yes

just an easy easy to style easy to wear super comfy she's famous we love her she

is everything my Chanel high tops basically glorious did a whole review on

her everything will be linked below she's a babe my newest addition I

haven't shown you these yeah Who am I my Louis Vuitton archlight arc light archlight

whatever I will be doing a full review on how to style of her and I am obsessed

I love the colorway I have not seen this on anyone and it's exactly what I wanted

to buy it okay so these are questionable these are dsquared I went for a whole

slip on sneaker phase which you'll see these are like they're a match they're

all like lace up you lace it up at the ankle she's cute and everything but she

hurts she hurts like hell Versace slip-on sneakers okay this is in

like a purple and yellow Python very chic and with the gold Medusa which I

love and actually I forgot about her so I think I need to bring her back out

because she is everything got some gold ones too and I wore these to death if

you see unlike the inside it's all scuffed from where it's hit the other

shoe these I just lived and died in and they were everything Louis Vuitton runaway

sneakers again such a comfy easy everyday sneaker love her love the gold

at the back they're all little little monogrammed detailing love it killing it

my Balenciaga speed trainers oho if you don't if you don't already know the

story Virgil Abloh who is now creative director of Louis Vuitton men's signed them

everything everything one of the best moments of my

life hands down boots these are tommy hilfiger like

trainer wedge kind of like boots and these look insane with a skater skirt

with like a cute little skirt my Prada ankle boots these are very badass I feel

like boots should be badass boots should be like I will walk all over your bare

back I don't know they should give that by Charlotte Olympia ankle boots in a

black suede fun fact my calves are so big that this zip does not do up when I

have them on so it's always like here if you do not know I am Jennifer Lee you

need to get on that train denim razors look at her okay

we have crystals we have spikes you know she is this is just fire also by her we

have these kind of so these are like a black crystal and pointed toe we have a

zip up at the back what a statement ah I love these are the only over the knee boot

to have I'm sorry these are called 2BD which stands for two bitches deep and

I think that that just says everything about this shoe of course a girl's shoe

collection is never complete without her Stuart Weitzman Highland boots what a

classic these are in the black suede Francesco Russo knitted booties okay

they're tight to the body they're tight to the ankle again it looks great with a

skirt just simple classic sexy again we have that autumn winter vibe flats the

Valentino Rockford sandal that broke on me

therefore it is trash Versace baroque like slip-on slippers and I love their

vibe it's giving me Hugh Hefner r.i.p along that same vibe with the Gucci

slip-on loafers yes we have a bloom moment oh oh we do again super cute

classic Chanel ballet shoes whatever what are these called

ballerinas and I have these in the Navy and I mean that fine they're not the

comfiest flaps for me I really don't I won't be getting any more than this

they're fine I mean each to their own bought these Miu Miu platform sandals for

my holiday I thought it was gonna look chic I thought I was gonna be killing it

and guess what I got eight blisters in total from both of these shoes so I'm

still gonna try and give her a go but she's on probation Chanel espadrilles

this isn't obviously a blue leather they're cute very very comfy however

they kind of lose their shape the more that you wear them so they kind of look

a little bit like slobby after a while which I'm really not here for my dad got

me these shoes when I was like 15 or 16 and he did really well I hadn't they're

really cute and everything I love these however they're like ridged on the

bottom which really hurts the feet so literally after like half an hour I want

to kill myself so thanks dad for the thought in

practice not the best but he has done great since then guys we did it we made

it through if you made it to this point thank you for sticking with me i more

than appreciate it honestly because i know that that was a lot I need to know

in the comments which of those you were like girl I am surprised by that choice

that is a terrible choice or oh yes I love it like this video if you liked it

subscribe if you haven't already become a member of our luxury addict family we

would love to have you and guys have an amazing morning afternoon or evening

wherever you are and I will see you in my next video bye guys

BG Vortrag, Springe 06.10.1958, CD 2, Teil 9 - Duration: 5:07.

Lecture Bruno Groening in Springe, Oct. 6, 1958, CD 2, Part 9

BG: "In an other case, I would have to ask, if such an older person would go to a younger one,

so he will not get any advice ?

So, a Mummy of 60, 70, 80 years wouldn't go to a child and ask such a child for advice, what's to do now?

Don't you believe in that?

Do you believe that?

yes or no, is that possible?

Would you go???

So, you at the age of 90, would you go to a child of 3-4-5 years?

Yes or no, speak openly, speak the truth!

Man: yes, if it's a good advice, yes I would...

BG: Stop, you wouldn't know this before!

Man: but when it's about a good advice...

Woman: Children speak the truth...

Do you trust

a small kid....

so much and do you believe that a child knows more than you?

Although you have been much longer on this earth ? Yes or no? (unintelligible) ..

Woman : Yes

other woman: yes

you don't know anything before ...

but...

...there is a feeling inside of man, even in the one who's already longer here as an earthly citizen,...

who already is living here in his body for 60, 70, 80 years ...

walks and talks suddenly to a child, who's only two, three four, five, six, seven, eight years old.

It must not have to be that old and doesn't even have to attend school.

And you may not say anything to the child, but the child says:

Mummy, you don't have to be that way, no, this must be so, that must be like this and that ...

in small things it happens to the family,

if only mummy listen to the little kid...

although it can hardly speak, but says:

Mummy, don't be sad, everything will be alright!

Come on...

....let's sing, come on, let's dance, come on, let's jump together.

The Mom says: Such a little stupid child, well, my dear kid, you have no idea what I'm worried about, what's depressing me.

How often it happened, friends...

that these mothers in fact were taught by their smallest child

and this they didn't forgot until today.

In the other case, I would have to ask: why have come the older people as well to the little Bruno, whom they used to call "Brunie"?

Some didn't even know his first name...

They've just said: Yes, what kind of a strange child is this?

It's weird, there happened this and that, it has not talked much...

but he must has done that...

he just said: "You are not sick, Mummy! Papa get up!!!

What are you lying there...?

and all believed that he would die...

Afterwards they found out

that it was not like that, how they thought....

There was still time to die...

no signs of sickness!

yes, what has the child within

where is that child, go, seek it for me...

yes, they are searching for it still today....

some are even travelling very far to look for this child

Question: Couldn't they be the same?

They are the same creation - they also come from there, where I have come from...

We all have only one creator, one father

HE has given it to all...

but people didn't know that anymore

They simply didn't believe - the parents have denied it....

with me it was the same, my parents tried it like all parents are doing

I don't want to blame my parents, my physical parents....

that's not the matter, friends, no....

they have been used to it....

"Children have to obey!"

? (unintelligible)

I said: What you want from me, dear Mummy,

this I won't do! THAT IS WRONG!

What Papa wants from me, that is wrong!

No, I don't do it!

Nooo, I never ever put this into action!

Of course they were angry and they said, "Let's beat him, this lout!!"

Slaps into my face did nothing wrong...

were not painful either....

but it did hurt, that the parents didn't understand....

that's the painful!! The others, in contrary, they did understand.

So that after all, the neighbors came and said: Look, that's your child!

So what do you think?

and they (parents) said: That's impossible...

and they couldn't believe - how many years did they need to convince themselves?

"It can not be, that I , that we have such a child!"

the parents said.

They did not know - they did not believe!

It's not a shame for them, but

I had to prevail, I had to tell them the truth!

Yes - and so dear friends, ...

this was about childhood, that means what you call childhood!

Liverpool handed huge BOOST as Man City January transfer plans revealed - Duration: 3:04.

Liverpool currently top the Premier League table and are six points ahead of second-placed Tottenham

Manchester City sit a point further adrift following consecutive defeats to Crystal Palace and Leicester

Pep Guardiola's City are still a lot of people's title favourites despite the points difference and they host Liverpool on January 3

The Times report though that Guardiola is satisfied with his current squad and will not be bringing anybody into the club next month

**PREDICT FIVE RESULTS AND WIN £25,000 - FREE TO PLAY HERE** That will be music to Jurgen Klopp's and Liverpool fans' ears with the Reds proving so far that their squad is stronger than that of City's this season

And Liverpool legend John Barnes believes his former side have shown they can cope with the challenges that being title challengers brings better than Man City this season too

"Liverpool have handled the pressure and Man City probably haven't," Barnes told talkSPORT

"Last season we remember how fantastic Man City were and I always thought, 'how would they cope when the pressure was on?' "The two times you can say a bit of pressure was on was against Manchester United at home to win the league, which they didn't win, and of course in the Champions League against Liverpool

"When everything is going well for Manchester City, when they're top of the league comfortably with no pressure, I think they're the best team in the world

"But from a character point of view they have struggled in their last two games. "I think the opposite of Liverpool

With Jurgen Klopp and the demands he puts on those players, regardless of it's a big game or a smaller game, they perform

"Over the last couple of years I never felt the games against Man City, Man United, Chelsea and Tottenham were important because we always did well against them, it was against the smaller teams where we fell down

"Whereas now, we don't lose those smaller games. "So I believe if we can do well in the big games against the likes of Man City and Tottenham, I think we will win the league

"Very much like Man City last year, I just can't see us going down against the smaller teams

Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider Talk About the Sketch Paul Rudd Couldn't Save - Duration: 4:11.

-So, your show is called "The Other Two."

From the clip, the premise is not clear,

but those are a brother and sister...

-Yeah.

-...who have a younger brother who is a sort of

overnight pop superstar.

-Yes. Named Chase Dreams. -Chase Dreams.

-Yes.

-So, they are -- The show is basically them

struggling very hard creatively and in their personal lives,

and their brother becomes famous without even trying.

And the whole show is about his fame

through their point of view.

-Yes.

-I was -- One of the things I was delighted by is that

I assume, by the premise, that he would be

a little [bleep] head.

-Yeah. -He's not.

He's a really sweet kid,

and they're sort of sweet older siblings,

despite the fact that life has dealt them

this very terrible hand, in terms of jealously.

-Yes. Yeah, we kind of thought --

And I hope that's what we did.

We thought it would be a little easier to

dismiss him and dismiss the whole, like,

YouTube culture if we were --

if he was a [bleep] head and they didn't like him.

So we thought it would be harder to dismiss him

and even more infuriating to them how successful he was

if he was, like, sweet and nice about it.

-Yeah. -Like, "Can I even hate you?"

-Yeah, they're not just jealous of him.

They're also, like, worried for him

and scared for him and protective of him.

So we tried to hopefully show all those things.

-Yeah.

-The brother, the older brother, is a struggling actor.

And, obviously, writing sketch comedy

is very different from writing episodic,

but I do feel like, in the very first episode,

there was something that reminded me

of a sketch you guys wrote.

-We wrote. -You were on it.

-You were on it.

-Yeah, when you're third on the sketch,

that means you had the least to do with it.

Do you want to explain the sketch that you wrote?

-So, it was about a sketch about an actor

who goes in for a commercial audition.

And in the commercial ---

-Who played it? Who was the host?

-Paul Rudd. -Okay.

-He goes in for a commercial audition,

and all he has to do for the audition is say,

"Ha-ha-ha, great party," and then smell a fart.

And that's the whole role.

And, so, in the sketch,

the casting directors are like, "That's fantastic.

Let's try it again, but I think the fart is fatter

and real close to your face."

And they keep giving the actor notes.

And we were very proud of it,

and it ate so much [bleep] at dress.

It did not work. It did not work.

-And then is there anything worse

than being under the bleachers with Lorne

as a fart sketch you've been working?

-Well, yes, it should have been.

However, this was one of those rare circumstances.

Usually, he can give you, like, a pretty withering glance,

and you will die, but this time, he kind of, like,

turned to us mid-sketch and was like, "They didn't go for it,

but it was good."

-And that was better. That was better than working.

But then we tried it again with Julia Louis-Dreyfus,

and it also didn't work then either.

So, then we said, "Lorne --" -"Let's open our show with it."

-It didn't work as sketches, so we're gonna write a TV show.

-I will say, you know it's not a good sketch

if neither Julia Louis-Dreyfus or Paul Rudd can make it work.

-I know.

-And we were like, "They're the problem,

so we need to take it to Comedy Central."

-You guys wrote, also, one of my favorite characters,

Kate's -- This is Olya Povlatsky,

who is a Russian woman.

And Olya called me Set Meyer. -Mm-hmm.

-And when I left the show, you guys gave me

the greatest gift that I keep on my desk, even today.

-Wow!

-And then you guys -- You came too my office once,

and it wasn't there and you were very upset.

-Yes.

But we understand why, because that's very confusing

to come into an office and see

as earnestly put forth as your name.

-I cannot tell you -- I'm in comedy --

the amount of people that are like,

"You know that's spelled wrong."

And I'm like, "Do you..."

It was so hurtful every time somebody said that,

'cause it's like, "Do you think I'm so [bleep] stupid

that I missed both -- both names are spelled wrong?"

-But we got you a gift, but, really, we got you a burden.

-You got me a burden.

But, anyways, I want you to know I still have it.

I love you guys.

-I can't wait to see it every show from now on.

-Yeah, we're going to keep it here.

This show is so great. I hope everybody watches it.

Give it up, everybody. Chris Kelly, Sarah Schneider.

Mum astonished as three babies born with teeth - and she breastfed them all - Duration: 6:53.

A mum has spoken of her astonishment after three of her four children were born with teeth - but it didn't stop her breastfeeding them all

Vicky Harrison, 40, revealed she was born with no teeth herself but was surprised to see her children had gnashers

She said midwives crowded round when she gave birth to her eldest Demi-Leigh, now 13, as the infant arrived into the world with two top teeth

Though her next child Violet, 11, was born toothless, her last two babies, Scarlett, eight, and Logan, one, amazingly both had two bottom gnashers

Vicky, of Newbridge, south Wales, has still managed to breastfeed all of her brood

An expert says the phenomenon, known as natal teeth, happens to just one in 2000 babies

The stay-at-home mum, who is married to 41-year-old manufacturing supervisor Leigh, said: "I was actually born with teeth myself, but I can't for the life of me work out why three of my four children had them too

"Violet will ask me, 'Mum, why didn't I have teeth?' but I honestly don't know. I don't remember saying or doing anything differently when I was pregnant with her

"When they were little, before the rest of their teeth came through, we'd get strangers stopping us to ask all the time

" When her eldest Demi-Leigh was first born back in August 2005, Vicky did not initially realise she had two teeth

She continued: "I cuddled her, and put her on me for a feed, then screamed out as I felt a pain

"I said to the midwife, 'I swear she's just bitten me.' "They told me that couldn't be right, but once they checked her over, it was – she had two teeth

" Keen to carry on breastfeeding, as she saw it as a way of bonding with her newborn, Vicky persevered as best she could

But after around three months, she felt too sore, and so had to stop. Then, two years later, in December 2007 little Violet was born, this time with no teeth

So when Vicky fell pregnant once again in 2010, she didn't expect to welcome another toothy tot

But when her third child Scarlett was born that May, it was a different story. "She had two teeth, just like Demi-Leigh, but this time, they were on the bottom," laughed Vicky

"This time, doctors said that they were a choking hazard and would need to be removed

"That was quite difficult to see, as she was only a few weeks old when it happened, and was crying away

Her mouth was bleeding for about an hour afterwards, too. "The dentist actually rang us again afterwards to make sure she was okay, as apparently she was the youngest baby he'd ever done a procedure on

" And, when Vicky gave birth to Logan in January 2018, it was an all-too-familiar scene, as midwives crowded round once he'd arrived to look at his mouth – specifically, the two prominent teeth in his bottom gum

This time, her newborn was allowed to keep his natal teeth as they did not pose a choking threat

As Vicky is not planning to have any more children, she vowed to breastfeed him for as long as possible, despite the pain it caused - and has only just stopped after a year

"I don't think I'll have any other kids, so I wanted to enjoy him and give him all that motherly goodness and bonding for as long as I could," she explained

"Breastfeeding a baby who has teeth is painful, especially when the teeth catch, but I have just learnt to push through and toughen up

"I use a lanolin cream to soothe my skin too." Adding that Logan's unusual grin has seen him attract a lot of attention when he is out and about, she continued: "People see him smiling and stop us to say, 'Does that baby have teeth?' "He thinks it's fun to bite down when he's playing, too

I'll see a little twinkle in his eye, then he'll chomp away. "He used to do it on my nipple when I was breastfeeding

" Vicky also has a theory that, as three of the children already had gnashers, they found the teething process easier than other babies

She said: "They didn't cry or fuss much at all. Violet did cry a little bit more, but she was still a calm baby

"We've been really lucky with them all." Reflecting on her remarkable brood, Vicky added: "I wonder if it is something in our genes

Leigh was really shocked, as nobody on his side had seen a baby with teeth before

"I take photos all the time of Logan, and when I post them to Facebook, people are amazed

"I never took any with the others, as it was the days before good camera phones, but now I wish I had

"I wonder if my grandchildren will carry on the tradition and have teeth too." Dr Guy Barwell, cofounder of The Implant Centre, said "It is very unusual for babies to be born with teeth, but it is a recognised form of tooth that is aptly named 'the natal tooth'

"They are usually poorly formed, tiny and often have roots that are very limited so are quite loose in the gum

"The main issue is obviously with breastfeeding, and how much this would be affected

"They don't replace the deciduous teeth that should still come through, but are an additional set

"The statistics suggest 1 in 2000 babies may be formed with natal teeth. "In this case, there is a very obvious genetic link if mum and all three children all had the same surprise

"

Tony Romo expected to get massive raise from CBS, report says - Duration: 2:13.

CBS will do what it can to make sure it keeps Tony Romo.  After the former Cowboys quarterback's performance as an analyst during the AFC Championship, CBS will be working out a contract extension to keep Romo with the network, the New York Post reported, citing unidentified sources

Romo's contract with CBS is up after next season, and if CBS doesn't lock him down with an extension Romo would be a free agent

CBS has the right to match any other network's offer should someone try to lure him away, according to the Post

At the moment, Romo makes $4 million annually, but that number could increase significantly, depending on the demand for his services

His payday also could depend on how he does working the Super Bowl on Feb. 3. Read This http://images

5 million with ESPN and John Madden reportedly made $8 million in his prime in the early 1990s

Madden's paycheck is considered a huge outlier, but if Romo gives another strong, high-profile performance at the Super Bowl, there is speculation that he could be offered a contract in that ballpark

At the moment, Fox has Troy Aikman is its lead analyst and NBC has Cris Collingsworth, while ESPN's "Monday Night Football" crew includes Jason Witten and Booger McFarland

With that in mind and CBS preparing to offer a pay increase, it would be surprising to see Romo move on to another network at this point

How To Make Easy Money On Social Media - Duration: 9:07.

Hey guys it's John Kevitz from Acquire Liberty thanks for spending your time

with me here today. Today I have a website for that actually is really

really cool okay I mean it's one of the neatest things I've actually seen online

where you can actually make money with that being said I want to give you a

disclaimer right up front you're not gonna get rich doing this but you can

make some serious good site income doing this from home but before we get into

that I want you to subscribe to my youtube channel click on that little

bell notifications every time I make it upload you'll get to see it first and

remember if you want to learn how to generate passive income from home if you

no longer want to trade time for money click that link below watch the free

video see how I got started and thousands of other people got started

and it gave them the ability to work from home full-time generating a full

time income alright guys so any further ado let me show you what I have for you

today it is m & f SP yeah that's a long one right it's MN f st.com and as usual

I will put all the links in the description below so you just click on

them and jump to where we are talking right now and what I want to show you is

this this is really really cool everyone is an influencer right if you have an

Instagram account a Facebook account a Twitter account right if you have people

who like your stuff people who view your things online you can make some money

and I think this is really an awesome thing check this out David

282 Instagram followers right David tells his friends about the MN FST app

with his profile and earns five dollars per post so if you put up your post like

David let's just say you take a selfie you put it up on Instagram right you

want to promote M and FST right so what they'll do is if you let them know this

and what you're doing they give you these little icons and these little

pictures down here to put on top of your picture you post that okay on your

Instagram account my basically what happens if you get interaction if you

get people who like that post or make comments on that post guess what you

just made five bucks because you're promoting them you're putting your

picture up you're causing interaction you're making

comments and you're getting paid and the same thing applies with Facebook and

Twitter as well look at this Megan she's got 5632 Instagram followers right Megan

promotes get with her manifest and earns $20 per post so she puts her picture up

she gets people to like it make comments on it she puts this little

icon on her picture because she's promoting get right and she gets paid

$20 per post now as the reason she gets paid 20 as

opposed to David where he only makes 5 is simply because of this 200 followers

5,000 followers that's gonna cause a lot more interaction for Megan she's gonna

get a lot more likes and a lot more comments right so that's why oh and here

we have Harry he has 32,000 367 Twitter followers now

he doesn't get paid anything because he does it for free because he's a

charitable guy he does things for charity so aspire manifest is a

charitable thing and he just does it for free interaction so it's an option you

have if you want but we're here to make money right so you're gonna want to

follow either David or Megan's example in this in this regards you know with

this being said with all these options they have there's a ton of brands events

and where while causes that you could actually post on your Instagram Facebook

and Twitter accounts so you could support what you love so if you love

pets great if you love sci-fi great if you love certain things if you love

certain services you could post that and make money now press a button black taxi

you earn up to five dollars and 23 cents daily so that's what she makes daily on

it one post right so this is actually really simple it's really easy and

that's how it works and you make money it's really easy receive daily payments

and US dollars which you can easily get drawl directly into your PayPal account

now I know there's another one here but let's just get PayPal it's just the

easiest one to deal with it's I got the best reputation as far as transactions

and how fast it works and I think it's really an awesome deal now what I want

to show you next is a review of this okay now I want to the BMF or Beer Money

forum calm I'll put the link in the description for you as well

this is really popular forums post for people who want to work from home I want

to find out the things illegitimate and they've reviewed them and pulled post up

here for you so we have someone here opt opt okay she put a post up here and she

wanted to show us how much money she made now she doesn't really do anything

i from what I understand her interactions and her view count is not

that high and she posted something up and she made a dollar and 11 cents US

dollars and 11 cents for putting one post up now is that a lot like I said in

the beginning of the video you're not gonna get rich doing this now you go

down here a little bit and she actually wrote something else yes link your

social media accounts and start posting so she feels pretty good about it she

knows what work she got paid so I think that's a good deal

you have to have $1 worth of transactions in your PayPal account to

to cash out now if you have 200 followers on Instagram and you just post

something up there you're gonna have your dollar transaction by the end of

the day pretty much guaranteed unless you actually have no interaction with

anybody and no likes you got to get paid to get paid you have to have likes and

comments on it but I mean I think this is actually a pretty good deal so it is

legit it does work let's click on this here okay somebody here dollar $90 $37

$37 $52 46 so it's not a ton of money but you have to keep in mind right how

many people that they have on their account and how many people are they

actually having interactions with right so you got to keep all that stuff in

mind now what I also want to do before I let

you go because this is an app for your phone here is the Google Play Store it

has a rating of 3.8 and I always prefer something 4 and higher 3.8 is not that

bad though and if you look at the ratings for 5 it's not bad so I would

say give this a shot guys I mean it sounds really really easy to do now

let's look at the App Store for the Apple phone what they got here 4.3 so

four point three versus three points so for the Apple store it's got about a lot

better rating and let me see here I wanted to see one

more thing I want to show you maybe it's on the Google Play Store

how many Oh over 10,000 plus installs that's good all right guys listen that's

all I have for today listen I hope this helps you out this is actually some

quick and easy money I was thinking about doing this actually for myself but

on my Instagram page I don't think that would really fit I do more business

stuff than I do actually selfies and that kind of stuff so but if I was just

doing on my personal page I actually might do it just for fun why not just

make a couple bucks every day because I got I got a pretty good following i'm on

instagram under acquire liberty but who knows i would say go for it i would

definitely try it all right guys listen that's all i have for today if you would

do me a favor subscribe to my youtube channel click on that little bell

notifications so every time I make an upload you'll get to see it first and

remember like the video because it helps the channel out and it helps the video

comment below let me know what you thought let everyone else know what you

thought if this actually is a legit app that worked for you hey it'd be great to

you know let people know that it's great to let me know that because then I know

what I'm doing future videos whether or not this is something I would I would

promote but right now I'm looking at it I actually think this looks pretty good

and the fact that you get paid every day is not a bad deal but if you know I'm

going to treat time for money if you all learn to make passive income click that

link below watch the free video see how I got started and thousands of other

people got started it gave me a bility work from home full time generate

passive income and not having a boss hanging over your shoulder all day long

driving you crazy telling you do this that and the other thing no no you have

to do that anymore now all you have to do is do it one you

want to do it I don't care if it's 3:00 in the afternoon 6:00 in the morning or

202 at night you can do it whenever you want however you want because it's you

it's up to you and the great thing about passive income is if you set some of

them once you just keep it coming over and over and over again and also listen

if you want to get some tips tricks and first notifications about when I put my

youtube videos up subscribe my my newsletter Monday through Friday I

Lonzo Ball injury update: Lakers guard out 4-6 weeks after MRI reveals Grade 3 ankle sprain - Duration: 2:45.

The main storyline from Saturday night's primetime matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets was yet another magnificent performance from James Harden

The Rockets guard went for 48 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four steals in the Rockets' 138-134 victory

In the process, he extended his 30-point streak to a historic 19 games; only Wilt Chamberlain has longer such streaks

But there was another key bit of news coming out of Houston on Saturday. Lakers guard Lonzo Ball suffered a nasty looking ankle injury after colliding with James Ennis

Ball immediately grabbed his ankle and remained on the ground for a few minutes until he was carried back off the court by multiple teammates

Unfortunately, he had to be transferred to a local hospital because the Rockets' in-arena X-Ray machine happened to be broken

Once he got there, he received a bit good news, as the X-Rays came back negative

However, after an MRI on Sunday, the Lakers announced that Ball will be out for four-to-six weeks with a Grade 3 ankle sprain

OFFICIAL: Lonzo Ball, who was injured in last night's game at Houston, underwent an MRI which revealed a Grade 3 left ankle sprain

Ball is expected to miss 4-6 weeks and updates will be provided as appropriate.https://t

co/fkAz9CXG5v— Los Angeles Lakers (@Lakers) January 20, 2019  It goes without saying that this is bad news for both Ball and the Lakers, who will be back in action on Monday night when they host the Warriors (10:30 p

m. ET -- Watch on FuboTV with NBA League Pass extension).  The team is already without LeBron James, and are just 5-8 since their leading man went down with a groin injury

Plus, Rajon Rondo is still out with a broken hand, which means they'll be especially thin in the backcourt until he gets back

In the crowded Western Conference, injuries can really disrupt a team's season, and the Lakers will have their work cut out for them as they try to tread water until they can get healthy

COUPLES Q&A| LDR INDONESIA/HOLLAND( BAHASA/ WITH ENG CC) - Duration: 9:11.

Gerhard already said

'' I miss you ''

No, you said it first

I was scared to do that

Didn't you know? I told you this just recently

There's chocolate milk

But we can't drink it immediately

I just drank it

I just drank it

I bet it's cold already

Yes, i think it's cold already

No, its lukewarm

The actual '' meeting '' or ' knowing eachother'' ?

How we knew eachother

Oh, how we knew eachother?

yes, how we knew eachother

Well that means

Whatever, it's the same

We met through a friend, but via whatsapp

Eventually we met

When Mella went to Jogja during her holiday

We really got to know eachother, i think

1 or 2 weeks before i went to Indonesia

And then...

When i landed in Indonesia

He asked me to be his girlfriend ( we officially started dating)

When i was on the way to Indonesia

I had a transit in Dubai

And then

Gerhard already said

'' I miss you ''

No, you said it first

I was scared to do that

First impression about eachother, when it was only via whatsapp

Even before we got immediate contact, when we only talked to eachother in the group chat

I thought you were an agressive girl

She messaged me first

She asked me, cause at that time i was stalking her Instagram

And then suddenly she messaged me saying: '' did you just stalk my instagram ''

I thought you were the type of girl who would hit up on alot of boys

From her appearance , she looked like an aunty

Just kidding, something like that

I thought of you,

I thought you were a popular guy with lots of friends

Because at that time, it was holiday for you aswell

You hung out with your friends everyday

There were just always friends around you

That's something uncommon for me

Because in Holland they dont really do that type of stuff amongst teenagers

They barely hang out with eachother continuosly ( everyday), not even in the Holidays

So that was something uncommon for me

So i just assumed you must've been a popular guy

But i also thought you must've had alot of girls

No, no , no

Apparently, she doesn't look like an aunty in fact she looked like a little girl

Her body looked so small

Wait what's a first impression

She was awkward

Who? me or you?

You ofcourse

Me? Awkward?

We were awkward because it was the first time of us meeting

I was awkward because my Indonesian wasn't as good as it is now

'' My indonesian isn't as good aswell ''

My first impression of you

I just thought, OMG he's so handsome ( lol)

I didn't know what to do, i didn't want it to be awkward.

I'm not just going to stand there

So i ran and hugged you

I was in shock

I was carrying a plastic bag with flowers

she just suddenly hugged me

Feels normal, just normal

Maybe those short distanced couples get to meet everyday and date on saturday nights

Those in an LDR only get to meet once every couple months

Relationship is still a relationship despite living far apart or close

People who are in an LDR, if they're in a serious comitted relationship

They're never going to be apart forever

If the relationship is serious

Because if the relationship is serious ( and commited)

You're going to have a goal of eventually being together, in a house (etc)

Eventually, you won't be apart anymore

What makes us struggle less in our LDR

Is i think the fact that we've always been living in a ( sort of ) LDR

Your parents, you and your dad are far apart

Me and my family and my grandma are far apart

Both of our parents have always somewhat been far apart

So its like

It's not a foreign thing, LDR

our recipe for a long lasting relationship

What we did so that we could always keep moving forward

Compromising, if anything happens just always compromising things with eachother

Trusting eachother

Compromising and trust are actually the 2 biggest things

If there's no such thing as being able to compromise, things won't be able to work out easily

If people think that we always had a smooth relationship

We didn't want to compromise

But compromising needs to be done in a fair way

For example:

The boy wants to have more girl-friends ( not girlfriends), then because he wants to get away with what he wants he tells his girlfriend that she could have as many guy friends as she wants ( just to make it look '' fair '', but only in his eyes )

Just because you want to do what you want, you allow your girl the same and its not even something that she wants/likes/agree's with

'' ( Forcing ) allowing things to your partner when he/she doesnt even agree/need/wants it just so that things look '' fair '' in your eyes to be able to get what you want to do . That's not compromising ''

If you don't understand its okay, its kind of hard to explain lol

And it's not something that's as easy as it looks

Even during the process when you're trying to compromise on things, it takes a lot of time

Then ofcourse trust.

When you succeed being able to compromise, dont try to break the trust by surpassing boundaries on what you've compromised on

It's bitter

I already know

Leveraging the full value delivery landscape with PMI | World Finance - Duration: 3:18.

Cindy W Anderson: An organisation really needs the capability to deliver value.

The capability to deliver projects and programmes that lead to value and competitive advantage.

At PMI we call that the value delivery landscape.

And we call it the value delivery landscape because we don't do projects because we want

to get a project done; we do projects because we know it's going to deliver value to our

customers or to our stakeholders.

Projects require all sorts of different methods and approaches.

And the value delivery landscape encompasses all of those practices from very traditional

to cutting edge and innovative approaches to project management – and including what

might be next, that we haven't even discovered yet.

Suneet Prakash: We started with the very basic, fundamental processes of project management.

And then we also have agile, we have predictive, we have iterative, we have waterfall.

We also use – depending upon the type of the project – sometimes it could be a hybrid.

That means in a phase of a project we would use the waterfall technique, in another phase

of the project we would use agile technique, or the fundamental technique.

So it depends really upon the project requirement.

Peter Moutsatsos: If we go back in the past and look at how, say, software development

projects were executed 20 years ago, waterfall was largely the only choice.

And project managers used waterfall methods to create all types of software projects.

If we now flash forward 20 years, there's still software projects, but we're seeing

different types of software projects.

We're seeing social media, we're seeing mobile apps.

Those things can be better served by agile methodology, or perhaps even a hybrid approach.

Because the stakeholder mix has changed, the complexity mix has changed, the business drivers

are different.

So adopting just the waterfall method may not get the best outcome.

Cindy W Anderson: When organisations have a lot of agility and flexibility in the way

that they go about executing their strategies, they're much more successful.

The business really needs to have a capability within its project management operating function

that allows it to be able to staff across this value delivery landscape.

One of the ways that organisations can be sure that their project managers have the

skills that they need not only for today but also in the future is making sure that they

have a continuous development cycle.

Our main certification is called the PMP – the Project Management Professional certification

– and it requires 60 hours of continuing education training every three years.

To make sure that project managers keep up with the emerging skillsets that they'll need

to help their organisations deliver value in the future.

Suneet Prakash: I got my PMP certification in the year 2007.

And I like this system of PMP renewal, because you are automatically forced to replenish

your project management knowledge if you really want to retain your credential.

So it's a very focused approach which helps you to learn new techniques and use them in

your projects.

And that's how you keep learning, and that's how you talk the same language.

Thanks for watching.
