Hi, this is Lesha again!

Not so long ago we made a review of Zoom U-series audio interfaces,

so we've searched in our warehouse and found another U-series card!

It's so small! I'm talking about...

the Zoom U-22. So, let's go.

First let's take a look at the package contents.

The package includes the interface itself, warranty card for it,

card... Zoom business card, I don't know, why do they put it here,

but anyway, user's manual, and USB cable for connecting with a computer.

Now let's briefly examine the controls and connectors of this device.

So, the top panel: input gain knob, output level knob,

power LED, and Phantom Power LED.

Front panel: combined input, you can plug both TRS and XLR jacks,

also it has a stereo line input for recording of different portable sources,

well, yes, this is a dual-channel interface,

and headphone out.

Side panel: Direct switch, which activates zero-latency monitoring,

48V phantom power, which allows to use any condenser microphone,

power source: USB or battery when using with a tablet.

The rear panel has some kind of an output section:

main out with RCA connectors, I hate them,

USB for connection with the computer, and power connector,

and micro-USB for powering while using with an iPad, but we'll talk about it later.

Oh, I forgot about the compartment for AA batteries.

Now let's talk about the most important thing,

this interface is possible and even necessary to be connected to iPad,

take this baby, get on the train, and go to record a golden album to Pskov-city, for example.

All that you'll need for connection is a special USB-Lightning adapter

and power. You have two options: use 2 AA batteries for five hours,

or buy a special adapter and plug it into an outlet up to infinity.

Now let's talk about the hardware of this device.

The converter gives complete range from 44 to 96 kHz of digital sound.

Preamps of the input channel are by Zoom, as usual, taken from Zoom H6.

And of course our favorite Hi-Z mode,

which is used by default on combo input, for instrumental connections, of course.

So, what about drivers here?

This device will work with iPad automatically,

you just have to run something like GarageBand and it will be recognized.

The same thing with the computer, the device is "plug and play",

just connect it via USB and it will be automatically detected in ASIO4ALL, for example.

Now let's do our favorite tests!

The elder models of U-series we checked with guitar and noise recordings,

Let's try to use the U-22 with vocals, listen how it will record the voice.

What does that mean?

Okay, so word mash-ups, word mash-ups, slang, teaching you slang.

Word mash-ups mean we take two words, mash them together, and make a whole new language

for you to learn.

And just when you thought you had mastered English vocabulary, we make more for you.

And by the end of this lesson, I think you can make your own word mash-ups.

That'll be fun.

So, let's get the potatoes cooking.

Let's mash up some words.

Maybe some of these words you have heard before and maybe you know them.

Very, very popular word is "brunch", but do you know what "brunch" means?

"Brunch" is a word mash-up.

It's old-school, which means it's old.

"Brunch" means "breakfast" and "lunch" at the same time.

So, brunch begins from whatever time you want and usually ends at about 3:00.

So if you want to eat from the time you wake up until afternoon, you're eating brunch.

It's breakfast and lunch together, so that means you get to eat all the breakfast foods

and all the delicious lunch foods at one time.

Glorious brunch.

Maybe you have heard this word, I personally think it's a little overused, the word is

called "chillax".

"Chill" and "relax".

If you have watched my lesson on "Chill, Chill Out", you're going to know that "chill" means

to be calm.

So, "chill" and "relax" means to be calm and relaxed.

Chillax, people, everything's going to be fine.

Bro, chillax, bro. Brah.

Have you heard people say this: "brah" or "bro"?

It is a slang way for usually men to greet each other.

We don't say: -"Good afternoon, Kevin.

How are you today?"

So we have what's called a "bromance".

What do you think "bromance" means?

It means "bro" and "romance", so this means that you are a man and you kind of like another guy,

Well, all of them you're going to hear in American TV, but this is I imagine in a TV

commercial: a "staycation".

It sounds like "vacation".

So, a "staycation" means a stay-at-home vacation.

This means you don't have to go to work-yes-but you're not travelling somewhere.

Usually on vacations we travel.

A staycation means you don't go to work and you stay at home in your pajamas,

Would you do that?

Yeah.

These ones, I think, are my favourite.

The first one, not very well-known, is: "vurp".

"Vurp" means "vomit" and "burp".

So, you have to burp.

But actually when you do that, some vomit comes up - not a good situation...

I didn't vurp, it's fine.

Not a good situation.

So, maybe you've eaten a lot at brunch, maybe you've overdone it, had a little bromance

at brunch and you're eating, and you burp, but a little bit of stomach vile comes up

- that's a vurp.

You don't actually vomit, but it's...

It's kind of close.

This one is actually quite fun and a great conversation starter.

This is "shart".

"Shart" is "shit" and "fart".

It's along the same meaning as vomit and burp, except it's the other end.

So, you think you're going to fart...

Fart means: "[makes fart noise]".

Okay?

But actually, uh-oh, a little bit of poo or shit comes out.

A little embarrassing.

We also have a word for this is Hershey squirts.

Kind of the same idea there or...

So, a shart is you think you're going to fart, you're like: "Oh, it's safe."

You can usually see it in the person's face.

There might be a smell connected to it, but a shart is pretty dangerous.

It would be actually time for you to go home if you sharted.

But as I said, a nice conversation starter, you can talk to your friends and go: "Hey, guys..."

Maybe you're at a party, you don't know people and you can say: "Have you ever sharted?"

What a great conversation starter.

I mean, you're going to make friends immediately.

That's how I do stuff at my parties.

Brilliant, brilliant idea.

Another one that is very popular is "ginormous".

I guess it's really big, because "ginormous" means "giant", which means big, and "enormous",

which means really big.

So "ginormous" means super, super, really, really, really, really big.

The next one we use for the internet and it's called "webtiquette".

So this is the "web", which you're on now, and "etiquette".

"Etiquette" means manners.

So, for example, if you are doing bad things on the internet...

It's not nice to do bad things on the internet.

For example, tell people that they're stupid or...

Or, I don't know, insult people, or put people down on the internet.

Please don't do that.

"Webtiquette" means you are respectful and not rude leaving comments, but it's a free

country, so do what you want.

Just don't be rude.

We also have "webcast".

"Webcast" means the internet and "broadcast".

So you've got broadcasting.

Usually we would broadcast on TV or the radio.

Now we have the wonderful internet, so it's a webcast.

Review - Lego Friends: Heartlake News Van (41056) - Duration: 9:18.

Hey everyone!

JAYSTEPHER with Heartlake News Van by Lego Friends.

Set number 41056.

Contains 278 pieces.

Recommended building ages are 6 through 12.

This looks like one awesome news van.

Emma and Andrew are included.

Nice colorful box art.

The news van looks like it has a lot of accessories.

Let's take a look at the bricks.

I obviously don't like the way this box was packed.

Really?

We have a wrinkled set of print work.

Chassis.

Two instruction manuals

that need to be flattened out.

Two bags of bricks that are numbered.

So this is possibly a modular build.

What are we waiting for?

Let's take a closer look at the Heartlake News Van.

The Hearlake News Van is a fun set to assemble.

Off to the left, we have two minifigures,

accessories,

and the news van.

Let's take a closer look at each.

First, let's take a look at Emma and Andrew.

Both their torsos are printed.

The graphics on Emma's shoes are printed as well.

Andrew does have a camera.

The 1 by 2 tile on the camera is suppose to have a sticker.

I choose not to put that on.

Looks like Andrew is wearing a snapback hat.

Both the figures do feature slots on top for accessories

such as Andrew is wearing headphones.

Next is the news desk.

On the far right, we have a floodlight.

Here we have a desk.

This required a lot of stickers.

One on the top and one on the front.

Those should have been printed.

Here we have a little seat.

On the back,

we have what appears to be a green screen.

There is suppose to be a sticker on that.

I choose not to put on.

Let's see if Emma can sit in the hair.

She does!

The desk does feature a plant

and a microphone.

Here's the back of the green screen.

There is suppose to be stickers

inside the wall element as well.

This little setup required a lot of stickers in my opinion.

Next is a large cake.

It looks very appetizing.

On the right, we have a blank sign.

It's suppose to have a sticker that says "1".

So maybe it is a first birthday or anniversary.

The cake looks more like a wedding cake.

Finally the news van.

It has an interesting color scheme of medium azure,

dark blue,

white,

grey,

and dark pink.

Honestly it looks more like an ice cream truck.

It does have a nice front bumper and grill.

Nice contour for the front.

The doors on the vehicle do not open up.

Here's the rear.

It can easily accept the green screen on the back.

So it does snap in nice.

On the top, we have a satellite dish.

to send the signals to the news station.

This vehicle does open up.

The top does lift up fairly easily,

and the dish does not bind on the side

which is nice.

This side does open up as well.

So inside we have a computer.

The screen required a sticker.

We have a hairbrush and some lipstick.

In the back, these two wall elements are suppose to have stickers as well.

There is plenty of room inside the news van.

It even has jumper plates on the bottom

for the figures to stand on.

Very roomy.

The top of the cab does remove.

It is a bit stiff!

You have to fight to get it off.

So we have a steering wheel

and two spots for minifigures.

So let's set our figures inside.

Let's place Andrew in the passenger's spot.

Plenty of room so far.

Now can this vehicle seat two minifigures side-by-side?

It indeed does!

Very nice.

Plenty of headroom.

Let's attach the green screen to the back.

This still does open up.

So even if the green screen is attached, you can still open up the vehicle.

It rolls smooth on a flat surface.

It is a nice news van.

It just required a lot of stickers.

Let's take a look at the stickers.

Looks like they have seen better days.

It is a nice set of print work.

In my opinion, the set required too many stickers.

On the right, we have various studs,

a few plates,

an extra microphone,

and other various bricks which may come in handy

to enhance the Heartlake News Van

or for other Lego creations.

This concludes the review for

Set number 41056.

It is not a bad set.

It required a lot of stickers.

Other than that, it will be a perfect addition for any Lego Friends theme,

Lego city,

or as a source for spare parts.

Motivation and tips for 2017

Hello and welcome in my new video !

This video is going to be about new year

But before I start with intro I would like to wish you a Happy New Year !

I wish you good health, happiness, to be successful, content and also full of positive energy

And mainly to be surrounded by people you care about and the people you love

New Year comes with expectations, dreams and plans we would like to turn into reality

And therefore I decided to create this video to show you some motivation tips and tricks that help me

This would be the end of my intro

And let's go to the video !

My first tips is definitely sorting out your closet

After last year we all have clothes we don't wear anymore or we don't want to wear or your size has changed

This is a good way of how to sort out what you want to wear and what you don't want to wear

And you can either give it to someone or sell it

You can also sort out your cosmetics bag or purse

What usually happens is that you may find yourself keeping all the bills in your purse

Even if you don't need them anymore

And after whole year you may often have things that are off in your cosmetics bag

or when you travel and carry them they get dirty

and this way you can clean them and sort them out

Organisation

Organisation is also very important

And what helps me is either diary or notebook I carry with me and when somethings comes to my mind

I write it down and try to make it happen

Talking about organisation I decided to show you how to set your goals so you can reach them

First things things, it is important to devide them into short term and long term goals

Short term goals can be accomplished in one week f.e. your homework or go for a run

And long term goals require more time - months or even a year

What happens is that people think they will be fit in one week or "over night"

And that will not happen ...

We need to be real, patient, work hard to reach our goals

We all struggle with how to organise time sometimes

If you want to organise it better you can create a plan

Then you write everything you have to do before leaving

such as time for make up or shower

and you will get required time for you to prepare

and that is a simple way of how to find out how much time you need to get ready

We all have plans we want to make happen

My tip is to take time to learn foreign languages

Because it will definitely pay off

Next very useful tip is to save money

Wheter you have pocket money or have a job

it is important to know on what you spend the most

And what I suggest is to take one week where you fully realize or write down where your money goes

And then you will see where you spend the most and in my case it is always coffee

And so I decided that this year I will try my best to make my own coffee at home and take it with me

Because at the end you actually save a lot and you can spend the money on something better or save them

Last plan is fitness plan

I made myself this inspirational folder

and I am going to fill it with recipes and motivation for workout

And it is also important to have fitness plan

My tip is if you are starting with working out

don't exercise everyday because your body is not used to it at the beggining

to get used to it properly start slowly with exercises each third or second day and you will get into it

find your favourite outfit for working out

because it can get you motivated as well

and go for it !

Welcome back, and before I get into it, I am doing this video for those looking to purchase

their first TV box, or you would like a box for another room in the house, or if you are

on a budget, and want to upgrade to Android 6.0 with more speed and memory without breaking

an-arm or a leg, and at the same time enjoy Kodi entertainment and games from the Google

play store with convertible storage.

Let's take a look at its hardware.

The Dolamee D6 runs on the Cortex A53 Amlogic S905X Quad Core CPU, the first CPU in 2016

to run Android 6.0 marshmallow, and it has a clock range speed of up to 2.0 GHz.

It's graphics and 4K display, is powered by the penta core Mali 450, running up to 750

Mhz.

This version of the Dolamee D6, comes with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM, and 8 GB of internal storage.

When it comes to connectivity, the Dolamee D6 comes with 802.11 2.4 GHz WiFi, and Bluetooth

Let's take a look at it software.

The D6 comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, with features like convertible

storage, custom permissions settings, Multiple languages, and personalized user interface.

It comes

with a wide variety of audio, photo, and video decoders for playback of 4K video and digital

audio.

Let's take a look at its ports.

To the back, the Dolamee D6, comes with 1 HDMI Port, 1 RJ45 Ethernet land port, 1 audio

To the side, you have 2 USB 2.0 ports, and an SD card slot.

The box comes in a black and grey color with a checkered box design, and it has a power

button, and a clock display at the front.

In the box, you get the Dolamee D6 TV box itself, one infrared remote, you get 1 HDMI

cable, a power adapter, and the user manual.

President Trump slammed with ethics complaint moments after inauguration - Duration: 2:58.

A government ethics watchdog welcomed Donald Trump to the White House by filing a formal complaint accusing the new commander-in-chief of violating the Constitution.

Noah Bookbinder, a director for the nonpartisan Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics, alleged in a complaint sent to the General Services Administration that President Trump violated his lease for the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. the second he was sworn in on Friday.

"The lease bans elected officials from benefitting to avoid conflicts of interest with their duties," Bookbinder said in a statement.

Both Democrats and Republicans on the House Oversight Committee raised concern over Trump's downtown hotel ahead of inauguration, noting that maintained ownership would pose an obvious conflict of interest.

The Trump International Hotel is located in the old post office building, which Trump leases from the government.

"We know Trump likes to renegotiate contracts for better deals," Bookbinder said. "If that happened here, it will be the President negotiating against the government he leads. His best interests are not the same as those of the American tax payer."

In addition to that alleged conflict, Bookbinder claimed Trump is violating the so-called emoluments clause of the Constitution, which prohibits sitting Presidents from accepting "any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatsoever, from any king, prince or foreign state."

"He just swore on the Bible to 'preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,' but by continuing to accept payments from foreign governments, he has already failed," Bookbinder said. "We do not yet know just to what extent this violation goes — because he is the first person elected to the presidency in decades to fail to clear the ethical bar of Richard Nixon and release his tax returns."

The General Services Administration did not immediately return a request for comment, but said earlier this month that it was looking into the situation in light of Trump's plans to not retire ownership of his sprawling business empire — a move that has also been blasted by government ethics experts.

The Trump team, however, has rejected the criticism.

"Paying for a hotel room is not a gift or a present and it has nothing to do with an office. It's not an emolument," Trump's conflict of interest lawyer Sheri Dillon said at a press conference last month.

Also on Friday, Bookbinder's ethics group filed a suit against the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration after it failed to turn over possible questionnaires from the Trump team seeking names of government staffers working on climate change.

"We know that NOAA received our request, but have not heard anything since. The law is simple, they have to respond," Bookbinder said, citing the Freedom of Information Act. "If they have information about the Trump team's search for climate scientists, Americans deserve to know; and if they don't a simple 'no' would suffice, but there's no reason to withhold that information."
