Hey, it's Rockuû
This is already the third video of my winter trip in Tokyo
This is a loooot...
If you missed something, click somewhere...!
Everywhere maybe ?
Today, we are going to Akihabara
To meet my boyfriend's favorite animal
This is a suprise
We are going to a Rabbit café !
You may know that it's a very famous concept in Japan
Of course everyone like this...
here you can spend time with animals
Most of the time, drinking tea of coffee
that is the point of a 'cafe'
it's included in the price
Agree or disagree with the concept...
I can assure you that all the cafe
I did, every single animal was in good health
No stress
No frustration
They were free
feed and hugged as will
No mistreatement as far as I can see
to be honest
I'd never touched a rabbit before
And I really wanted to go to this one
Here, precisly, at Mimi
which means ears in Japanese
rabbits were said to be more dynamic
I think it's the one to go !
*Is my sleeve good ?*
*omg x') *
* what are you doin' ?*
Futhermore, this is all made for non-japananese
Most of the explanations were in English
and of course, as in every animal cafe
rules are really strict
What is really nice too,
is to see all these rabbits, with their different names
a different personality
an identity
a bit like when you named your pokemon
For example, this big fluffy bunny
is named after a Japanese brush
You'll be given plasticised apron
to avoind any small 'accident'
And they will provide you a small bowl
with biscuit on it
to lure the animals, but also to play with them
of course to feed them !
800 yen for 30 minutes
this is the minimum time you can spend with them
(about 6.90$ or 5.60£)
spend this to hug this little fur-balls
it worth the price to me !
It will allow you to spend time also with Japanese people
Alcohol is not everything in life !...
Rabbits help too !
Rabbits gather people
*veryone laughs*
*You know that they don't give a sh*t about being petted ?*
*Let me eat !*
*C'monn leave me alone, I just want to eat !*
*look at its eyes CNMHERGRIRV*
*This is madness !!*
*dead body.*
*I died of a stroke.*
I know that this concept could seems a bit weird
Because in France, we have like 3 cats by family...
as many as we wish
but think about the fact, Tokyo is so small
and overcrowded
people are like...Piled on top of each other !
People are not used to seeing animals !
That's why t's a very important thing for them
Because this is so rare
touching them
petting them
just spending time with them
just think how important it is for them
because for us it's banal
It's not because we have such a way of life
than for Japanes it's the same
even for Japanese people, you know,
some people have never touched a bunny before !
being here is a unique occasion !
This is magic !
(we have so many cats in France, we don't even know what to do wih them...)
poor animals !
whereas in Japan, cats are expensive...really expensive
At the end, this was funny
my neighbour spilled he's biscuits over
some of them fall into my shoes
Bunnies are not stupid...
they ate in my shoes...
conclusion ?
that tickles !!
Be careful ! half an hour, it's very fast !
We did not have time to give all the biscuits
so we had to give everything in one time
Bunnies were so craszy,
we could have been eaten alive !
Strange...they eat all day...
I do not talk about it but in Japan
you can also eat meat
In this chain
meat is served in plates that cooked the meat as you wish, in front of you
It's a "do it yourself" this is very fun
this is an interresting thing !
Two main style, hamburger style
as I took, reconstitute meat
or, 'real' meat style
real steak,
the more time you spend to chew it, the better it taste
Usually Japanese people eat it more raw than we do
We are the 31rst of December...and suddenly
obviously, everything is closed
It's only 8 p.m.
usually its open a little longer...?!
But justly we are the 31rst !!...
The last day of December, for Japanese people, is a very important day
It's sacred
The day we want to gather in family
to eat the New Year's Eve meal
...watching stupid TV shows !
So this is the day finally people can have a bit of rest !
For us, no rest
We decided to do an 'occidental new year'
Shibuya countdown, will you like it ?
(In fact you have no choice.)
Shibuya + 31rst of Decembre = The place to be !
You have to go there if you want to see the countdown !
As you can see, the organization one more time is really amazing
It's only 10 p.m.
Security is everywhere
to handle this huge amount of people !
We will stary here a bit, near Hachiko
Dressed for the occasion
Waiting here is safer...according to the number of people here
For several years now, around midnight this entire zone has been pietonnised
It's too complicated to deal with cars and people
They also strengthen security, because of terrorism
Another thing that I liked,
these messages on big screens
Such as :
'Throw your garbage in the designated places'
'Here are the toilets'
'Be careful of people surrounding you'
And of course, these people, picking garbages just on your feet
There were a huge number of video cameras
they were broadcasting the event on the internet
Later we saw some broadcasted images of the Japanese TV
With very Japanese jokes...
There also were people's interview
Expressing their wishes for the new year
With the traditionnal
'I want peace on Earth'
But I also remember a girl
with pink hair, she said that she want people to dye their hair pink
I can say I fulfiled your dream :p
Yep...this a chicken, going out of a giant egg
in Tokyo's sky
Because it's the year of Chiken
Even if Japanese people use the same calender than me
They enjoy using the Chinese calendar
They can use the different animal in their daily lives
Because it's funny...
And one can sell product with these animal on it
Which makes money
And Japanese people like money.
This is the most important moment !
The moment the year will change
For japanese people it's the end of a cycle
and the beginning of an other
Very important in Shintoism and Buddhism
Let's enjoy together the countdown !
*Are you ready ?*
This was a great exeriment
being here
with 67 000 person !
comming from everywhere in the world !
Of course we met some French people
Randomly ?...But it was the occasion to hug someone I don't know
People we don't even look in our country
become brothers on the other side of the world
just for a night...
If you see a pink dot on videos, it's me ! :D
Even going home early...too early
have you seen how many people they are here, in the station ?
Even if the station has been correct to deal with the amount of people
Otherwise I think there would be dead people every time there is an event in Tokyo...
Really foresighted Japanese...
I think I will let you here,
I'm way to stuck on the window to talk to you know !!
BYE !
This is all for this day !
Very first video of 2017 for me !
Of course you will see it later...!
I hope you'll like it !
i hope you felt the athmosphere !
Do you know what we are supposed to do the very first day of the new year in Japan ?
You'll see it in my next video !
I tried to do something more traditionnal !
BYE !
How did you imagine yourself in the future in 2014 ?
...Really ? At home
With my parents, for new year...
Being depressed
'Cause my life is shit
And I stopped studiying...
And I'm so dumb, that I want to kill myself...
That's not true, look where you are now !
No need to wait for ten years to realized how life change fast...
