We start our adventure in this enchanting city,
heading to the modern Osaka's Castle,
which is dated on 1531, by orders of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
Used as a military building during the wars in Japan,
It was not until 1931 that the present ferro-concrete reconstruction of the castle tower was built.
The castle tower is now entirely modern museum on the inside,
which features the history of this castle, Osaka, and Japan.
Something impressive were the 3D dioramas that allow you to have an easy and friendly understanding.
The castle has 8 floors (6th is not open to visitors) so consider that it is going to take you a while this place.
Indeed one of the best things about this place is the panoramic view of it's observation deck,
where you'll be invited to talk to yourself and maybe you're going to stay in that moment more than just a couple of minutes.
Honestly speaking, this castle other than others has a very interesting exposition inside
It's a museum!
You will learn a lot of Osaka's history, how the castle was rebuilt,
as well as the "Shogun" that lived here. (Hideyoshi).
An well this castle will ask you for more hours than you expect, compared to Himeji's
A unique, interesting and cultural experience.
Japan,
Indeed during my time here you have leave me breathless
Osaka is one of the most beautiful cities I ever visited
and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
Not only because it has the largest aquarium of the world.
that yes, if you around here, is a must
it features a lot of animals and species,
if you ask me, penguins being my favorite,
it is the first time I see them though.
If you visit Osaka, the last months of the year
you'll be welcomed by thousands and thousands of christmas lights.
It's just that this city has everything,
all the stores and brands you can think of,
you'll find them here at Dotombori.
Hey travelers today I want to present to you one of the most popular Osaka's celebrities.
Is so famous that if you ever ask somebody here, do you know him? They all say "Hai" "Hai" (yes, yes)
Ladies and Gentleman, this is Glico Man.
This popular neon sign was first feature in 1935,
by the candy Glico Co.
Supossly for "marketing sales"
due to raise their sales and presence within Japan.
Each candy had 15-16 calories, and in order to burn those calories, a normal person
would have to run around 300 meters during 2 minutes.
When talking about local food,
you must try "Takoyaki" (ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based filled with octopus.
"Gyozas" dumplings of ground meat and vegetable filled and wrapped into a thinly rolled piece.
"Melon Soda" (yes melon soda),
and finally, "Udon Soup".
Indeed the best of this city is that
is that is going to surprise you wherever you'll go.
Personally speaking I been always surprised, so now
it is time to stop the music and share with you this.
Coming to Japan, is surely a trip that might change your life.
