Diferenças entre britânicos e brasileiros...vídeo em inglês! - Duration: 9:03.

Hello everyone welcome back to my channel, today's video is a little bit

different. We're not going to be doing an English lesson today, but I'm going to be

doing the video 100% in English. I thought would be a good

opportunity for you guys to practice your listening, and also for me to share

a bit about the British culture and talk about some things I find very different

to Brazilian culture. So I just want to put a disclaimer here, I'm not trying to

generalize or try to say that all British people are one way, or Brazilian

people are one way. I understand that everyone is unique and is their own

individual person. So that's what we're going to talk about today. Differences

that I've noticed, and that I find interesting between the British culture

and I guess the way British people act, and Brazilian culture and how Brazilian

people act. So I hope you find this type of video interesting, maybe a bit funny,

but also that you get the opportunity to hear me speaking more in English. So turn

on the subtitles if need , comment below if you like this kind of video and you

want to see more of them on my channel, subscribe, comment, like, everything. So

let's get started with the video! Okay so the first thing that I've noticed that

is different between British culture and Brazilian culture, is like British people

tend to be more reserved whereas Brazilian people are more open

and more affectionate. So for example I remember last year when I was in Brazil,

when I was in Rio. There were times when I'd meet someone for the first time

and they would hug me give me two kisses on the cheek. And that sort of thing just

does not happen in the UK. It's very very rare that you would meet someone for the

first time and they would hug you and give you kisses. And yeah that just does

not happen. Wetend to be a lot more reserved if

we meet someone it's just a handshake or just a 'hello how do you do?'

But yeah, people think that British people are unfriendly or stuck-up and

you know they don't like to talk to people. Yeah of course there are British people

like that, but it's just a difference in culture. And we do get affectionate and

are open and friendly, but we tend to do that around people who are close to us.

Family and friends, not just work colleagues, or strangers, or the person at the

shop. We tend to sort of keep that affection and emotion between our close

family and friends. And also just to add on to that couples in Brazil tend to be

a lot more affectionate as well, and tend to share their affection and

kiss and touch a lot more than in the UK. Whereas, yes couples do that but it's quite

rare to sort of see couples like just kissing intensely like every where. Whereas

in Brazil it was very common to see you know couples touching kissing and just

being open and free and affectionate very publicly. Okay and the second thing that

is different between British people and Brazilian people is that Brazilian

people tend to be a lot cleaner than British people, or at least it appears

that Brazilian people are and are cleaner than British people. So I was

quite surprised when I kind of heard that many Brazilians take up to 4 to 5

showers a day. Now I understand you have a warmer

climate than we do here in the UK, but for me personally no offence four showers

a day it just seems a bit crazy...very very crazy. First of all where do you

even get the time?, where do you even have the time to take four showers a day?

That's my first question. And second question is like isn't that gonna

dry out your skin, like just constantly showering. I don't know if you're always

using soap, I don't know but for me it just seems a bit excessive.

But I understand you live in a warmer climate so you need to take more showers.

As opposed to in the UK where it's a lot colder, we don't sweat as much. But yeah I

know that's a big generalization that Brazilians are clean because they shower

a lot, because I was in Rio and I saw the condition of some of the public toilets

and yeah not so clean. I mean it was an experience. So I would say Brazilians are

very clean and when it comes to showering. Brushing your teeth also

especially brushing your teeth like in public places, that's not.... you would

very rarely see that in the UK, someone like taking a toothbrush with them to

work or places like that. We just brush our teeth in the morning and in the evening.

On the surface I guess it appears Brazilians are very hygienic and

obsessed with being clean, whereas British people...we're not dirty, but I guess we just

don't have that level of cleanliness that many Brazilians have. Just to

clarify I take two showers a day, maybe sometimes one if I stay at home all day

or it's like in the winter. But I'm clean, so don't! The last thing that I notice is

that Brazilian people are very family-oriented, and that's a really good

thing. I'm not trying to say that's a bad thing, but just in terms of how

it's different to like British culture. British people love their families.

Don't get me wrong, but we tend to sort of build our lives less so around

our family life if that makes sense. So for example I know in Brazil it's very

common for people to stay close to their families, live with their parents for a

long time probably up until they're married or up until they're a fully

fledged sort of adult. Whereas in the UK it is very common for people to leave home

early in sort of their late teens to early 20s. People are already thinking that 'I

need to go, let's go, I need to get out!' (that's me right now!) But yeah, to move on to leave my

family behind, my parents behind and kind of go on and live my own life.

When I was in Brazil I noticed that people tend to sort of...even if they were

to move out, they would sort of move out in a way that they were still close to

their family, and they live close to their family. Which I think both things

have their advantages and disadvantages. I don't really see ... I think everyone

just do what works for them. But yeah I just noticed that that is different. That

people in Brazil tend to sort of be more close with their families

whereas British people yeah we're close to our families, but we also

kind of value our independence and wanna kind of separate from my families as well.

Okay those were just three quick things I've noticed that are different

between British culture and the Brazilian culture. And as I said at the

beginning of the video this is in no way meant to generalize a group of like

millions of people into one category. Of course there are many Brazilian people

who are reserved and don't touch people. And there are also many British people

who are outgoing and loud and super friendly. And there are of course many

British people who are super clean, and many Brazilian people who are dirty as

heck! So I'm really not trying to generalize, but that's what I've noticed

anyway and I thought it would be interesting to share with you and also

hear your thoughts. What are some things that you notice about British culture if

you're aware of British culture I don't know? Or American culture or Spanish

culture? And is that different to your culture, Brazilian culture? And I feel

like I'm saying 'culture' a lot so yeah. Also let me know if you like this

kind of video, just me speaking in English about random topics hopefully

helping you train your English and get some new vocabulary and hear a bit about

life in the UK. Let me know. If you enjoyed this video please give it a like.

Comment below, tell me about your culture...that will be the last time I say

"culture" I swear. Share this video, and also subscribe I will be posting new

videos every single week. Thank you so much for watching my video and I'll see

you in the next one, bye!

After Eight Whole Years Of Trying, This Ex-NBA Star Has Reached His Biggest Milestone To Date - Duration: 8:26.

Former basketball star Chris Webber was once named Rookie of the Year and is widely regarded as one of the Sacramento Kings best ever centers

Such was his prowess with the ball that he was named an NBA all-star around five occasions and made the all-nba

team a similar number of times

However, Webber's proudest achievement is a long way away from the basketball court

Here's a look at the milestone with a sporting hero once thought he'd never achieved

Born in Detroit, Michigan in

1973 Chris Webber started his path to basketball stardom at high school

He won a hat trick of MHSA a state championships with Detroit Country Day School and was once crowned Michigan's mr. Basketball

Whoever went on to study at the University of Michigan where he became an integral member of the freshman group known as the Fab five

Credited with injecting a hip-hop vibe into the sport the Fab five guided the Michigan Wolverines to two NCAA finals

Four of its members eventually made it into the NBA with Ray Jackson the unfortunate player to miss out

However Webber and his team made skills on the court were overshadowed by a furor that engulfed the game

Indeed Webber was later stripped of his various awards due to his involvement in the University of Michigan basketball scandal of the mid-90s

the center was later convicted of perjury after it was discovered that a local booster had handed him more than 200 thousand dollars and

This wasn't the only time that Webre got himself into hot water in

1998 the star was charged with various offenses

Including marijuana possession second-degree assault and a DUI after police pulled him over for speeding

He was later acquitted of all the serious charges but was forced to pay five hundred sixty dollars for the more minor offenses

Later the same year Weber also found himself in trouble when US customs discovered a quantity of marijuana in his baggage during a

stopover at an airport in Puerto Rico

The star was enroute to Barbados from the Dominican Republic to promote a new brand of sneakers for phylla

After being dropped by the sportswear company for the misdemeanor Weber received a 2.6

$1,000,000 payout for breach of contract and

Then there was the infamous timeout call during the 1993 NCAA Men's Division one basketball

championship with just over ten seconds left on the clock Webb was shouted for a timeout which his Michigan team then

73-70 one down didn't have the upshot of this was a technical foul that pretty much handed the game to North Carolina on a plate

Webber was drafted by the Orlando Magic as an overall number one pick in

1993 the first sophomore to achieve such a feat since Magic Johnson the franchise then immediately

Exchanged him for the Golden State Warriors Penny Hardaway and three other players

Who ever enjoyed an incredible first season guiding the Warriors to the playoffs in earning the title NBA Rookie of the Year?

Whoever then joined his old Fab Five team. We drew on Howard at the Washington Bullets

During his three-year stint in DC

He earned his first selection to the all-star team and guided the franchise to their first playoffs in nearly a decade in

1998 Webber joined the Sacramento Kings with Otis Thorpe and Mitch Richmond going the other way

Webber was initially reluctant to sign with the Kings but ironically ended up playing the best basketball of his career there

Indeed. He soon established himself as one of the NBA's finest power forwards achieving further all-star team selections and a

career best of

27.1 points in the 2000 to 2001 season

Shortly after the latter Webber received a seven-year contract worth in astonishing

127 million dollars

Whoever immediately proved he was worth the money by guiding the Kings to a record-breaking

61 - 21 season and Pacific Division title

He also narrowly missed out on winning his first ever championship when the Los Angeles Lakers

controversially beat the Kings in the 2002 Western Conference Finals

But injury disrupted his later years with the franchise and in 2005. He joined the Philadelphia 76ers

Webber struggled to repeat his form in the 76ers and after two years signed to his hometown team the Detroit Pistons in

2008 he returned to the Golden State Warriors

But after just nine games with a franchise had to call time on his career due to a nagging the injury

He finished his NBA career with an average of 4.2 assists

9.8 rebounds and 20 point 7 points

Following his retirement whoever guested as an analyst for NBA on their gametime Live series

He also opened a restaurant and figured founded an investment company and portrayed an aging creature in the comedy

Uncle Drew who ever had previously showed his talents extended beyond the court by producing tracks for legendary rapper Nas

Webre has also pursued various philanthropic causes in

1993 he founded Youth Project the timeout foundation and six years later formed an initiative which has since distributed free basketball tickets to more than

3,000 youngsters

He's also been given several community accolades for his services including the very first Sacramento Kings Oscar Robertson

triple-double award

in

2009 Webber walked down the aisle with Erica dates his long-term girlfriend at his Atlanta home in front of 200 guests

The couple intended to start a family straightaway

But sadly due to fertility issues doctors warned them that they might never be able to conceive a child

Happily however, it never came to pass

the couple made a surprise announcement on Instagram in 2017

They were now proud parents and not just to one child either

Erika had given birth to twins a girl and a boy a

photo posted on a social media site showed Webre cradling a baby in each hand

After many years of trying and more than a few heartbreaks we were blessed with these little ones the caption read

Whoever also used the hashtags pound God's grace and pound worth weight before thanking his wife

Unsurprisingly Erika couldn't contain her excitement either and wasted no time in posting a picture of the twins and their father on social media

Erika captioned the photo

Grateful seven years waiting for our family to grow and we were double blessed

Never underestimate the power of prayer even when they tell you. It's impossible

All in his time

Thank you to all of our family and friends and even strangers who shared our journey and kept us encouraged

Later that same month. Whoever opened up to Esquire about being a new father

It's taken the edge off

He said it's just something my wife and I have been praying for and working toward for years

To have it happen as just I don't know what to say. It's the best feeling in the world

He added. I don't get any sleep, but I'm the oldest of five and I used to do a lot of babysitting growing up

I have a big family. So we're used to that

But it's amazing. Just seeing something. That's your own grow and develop. I'm just in awe

Most days is laughing and crying at the fact that something like this happened

video I feel so comfortable with you guys this is actually the most

comfortable I've ever felt so without further ado let's dive right into

today's video because I'm dying to pamper myself I've got all of my

favorite skincare products around me and this old face is ready for a tune-up

it's ready for a little refinement and refreshment for the rest of the week

let's dive right into today's video okay guys I just love this style of sit down

video and talking with you guys I love the idea of like face masks and chat or

luxuriate and chat pamper ation and chat I just love to pamper myself and I love

it even more to do it with you guys pampering yourself is like so Universal

and who doesn't love to pamper themselves I'm gonna be starting this

pamper ation process off by cleaning and exfoliating my skin I'm gonna be using

the micro magic spa powered microdermabrasion treatment by bliss now

you guys know I generally don't like to use physical exfoliators because they're

a little bit harsh on the skin and they can actually irritate the skin or break

you out but to be honest I just have so many skincare products under my sink you

guys if you could see it down there I feel like it's like Indiana Jones like

there's gonna be a trap when I go to look for a moisturizer or a face mask I

don't know a big spear could come shooting out of under my bathroom sink

or like one of those a big ball could come rolling down do you guys just have

like a crazy bathroom cabinet or bathroom sink under the cupboard I've

actually thought about filming a tour of under my bathroom sink but honestly it's

just so crazy I don't think I'm ready to share with you guys yet because I feel

like it would be more of an episode of Hoarders like or my strange addiction

like addicted to skincare I'm just not ready to share with you

yeah anyway I said all of that just to tell you guys that's why I'm using this

physical exfoliator by Bliss something that I don't use that often this

exfoliator contains pumice stone not any of those like harsh exfoliating beads

that get washed down the drain left in the environment forever so because it's

pumice stone I do feel a little bit better about using it but it's

definitely not something I'd use all the time because you guys know I love my

chemical exfoliator I need to pick up a new one from bozhe

that just reminded me I'm just gonna give my face a quick rinse I'll meet you

guys right back here whoo my skin feels so clean and so ready to accept all of

the beautiful pamper ation I'm about to bestow upon it I've all my serums creams

lotions and potions to apply I'm gonna start this process off by using a serum

that I actually just got this is the Claire's rich moist soothing serum I

wanted just a really basic simple hydrating soothing serum to use in my

skincare routine I've been using it for about two weeks now and I really like it

it just slides right over the skin so beautifully it's really hydrating and

soothing I'm gonna use a second pump and bring it all the way down my neck you

guys I don't know about you but I was at the gym this morning and if any of you

guys go to the gym let me know if this happens to you there's a guy that goes

to my gym and has gone to my gym I've been going to the same gym for a couple

of years now and there's this one guy who grunts all the time I workout in the

morning and he's there almost every single time that I'm there

were obviously both on the same routine but this guy you guys

grunts non-stop he raps out loud to his music like it looks like he's gone a

little bit I mean honestly I don't care if you're a grunter if you want to rap

out loud if you want to knit your mother a sweater while you're also working out

like I don't care do you do whatever you want I don't care but like when you

start grunting so loud and like rapping out loud I think you're crazy so I'm

looking over my shoulder because I don't want to get attacked and be you're just

annoying me you're annoying me so much so I can hear you over my headphones let

me know in the comments down below you guys have any grunters at your gym and

how do you deal with a gym grunter because it's just gonna start driving me

crazy to the point where like maybe I'll start grunting so loud maybe I'll just

turn Rowling's like ah as you guys can see this serum went on the skin really

smoothly and it's definitely leaving my skin really smooth hydrated snatched I

mean look at this you guys this is like some good hydrated skin I hope you guys

are following along with your favorite face masks or your like painting your

fingernails or you're just taking a moment for you to beautify because this

is like our moment up next I'm going to use

these really cute calming cheek patches and then my friend Mariah showed a girl

if you're watching this actually brought me back these calming cheek patch masks

from South Korea this is straight from South Korea how cool is that you guys

these are little jelly masks that go on your cheeks ah I'm deceased look it's

this little character on the front here how do we open these up you guys this is

so exciting oh you guys these are wait this is so confusing where is you guys

where's the mask hold on wait there's only ah the other one fell out you guys

there's only one in this package the other one is still inside here oh my

gosh I almost threw this out good thing I checked inside the package all right

so let's peel these off and get these on my cheeks and I need to tell you guys

these are the cutest texture they're like little jelly patches let's go ahead

and put these on the cheeks because we can always use some extra hydration on

my cheeks ooh these are so cute you guys look at that alright guys so I don't

know about you but I discovered x-files for the first time on Netflix I grew up

in x-files was always on the TV but I've never watched it for some reason I just

clicked on x-files and literally six episodes later of season 1 I'm still

these are so adorable way so I start watching x-files

I'm literally six episodes in for my whole life I've never been into ghosts

aliens in fact aliens scare the living out of me so I don't even like to think

about aliens so I don't know why I decided to watch the x-files I'm

obsessed you guys I'm obsessed with Mulder and Scully

and like all the adventures that they're going on and I don't usually like to

watch TV shows but let me tell you the x-files I'm all about it I think I'm

watching too much x-files I mean all of these crazy theories are running from my

brain that brings me to something completely different you guys just

anyone out there watch Kendal raise conspiracy videos on YouTube

shout out to Kendall Rae I mean I don't think she would ever watch this but I'm

also addicted to Kendall Ray's conspiracies you guys I feel like I'm

gone down the black hole of conspiracies someone call shane dawson like i need

help

if that's a little better I think that the cheek masks were sliding down as I

talked to you guys speaking of South Korea and these masks

coming literally from South Korea how cool would it be you guys if one day I

could take my channel to South Korea to try some really cool skincare products

would that be like the coolest channel ever that's definitely my goal that's

definitely my dream that I could travel around the world rather than sitting

here and trying all the different products from all over the world I would

love to travel that way I could vlog and going to the destination to try all of

these crazy skincare products and different skincare procedures I mean

imagine if I want to like somewhere cool like Brazil to try some type of really

unique facial treatment la or Hollywood and try some like really cool facial or

some like really neat sculpting tool I mean the possibilities are basically

endless that's just like my dream come true what do you guys think about that

would that be so cool you guys I could not decide which cologne of working to

put on today so I just got my whole little I have this watermelon pouch full

of cologne and perfume samples as you guys have seen I've done an entire

cologne and perfume video before and I actually have 10 staple colognes and

perfumes that I buy in the big bottle and I rotate through those fragrances

quite consistently and I buy them over and over but I love to collect this

little pouch full of all kinds of samples this is what they love to take

when I travel that way I get to have all these different scents these unique and

exotic scents whenever I travel and whenever I'm feeling like something new

you guys know sometimes you just want to feel like new and fresh something that

makes you feel like a little bit different than normal and kind of out

there and unique I don't know you guys what should we try let's just take a

little handful and go through now this one is the Hermes F MS Paris I actually

don't like this fragrance I find it really quite woody

and really almost like fire kind of like smoke or fire so I know I'm gonna skip

that one that one is just not for me today I already have this code black so

I'm gonna put this back in here which one is this Elizabeth and James under

Vaughn out white hmm I don't know if I'm in the mood for that one that one smells

a little bit powdery which one is this let nuit de ohm by YSL this actually

smells a little bit similar to the Elizabeth and James I always just do

this randomly I take a handful and then I pick one of the scents in there this

one is the Azzaro wanted oh definitely not that one so guys I think we're gonna

go for the we dome by YSL ah the fragrance can just

change everything about the day oh yeah this oh oh whoo this is really unique

scent this is really overpowering oh my goodness this spells expense oh it

definitely smells expensive but on the top note I definitely get a scent of

alcohol sometimes I find that happens in little samples compared to the big

bottles oh good fragrance can just put you in a totally different mood I feel

like a new person already like every time I wear a new fragrance it just

transforms you like do you guys have any favorite fragrances that you've worn on

trips or any ones that you associate with really strong memories I'm always

so curious to hear about people's memories and fragrances because I've so

many stories attached to fragrances you guys know I absolutely love fragrance so

if you guys have any stories about your favorite fragrance or once you've worn

on vacation or ones you have really strong memories to let me know in the

comments down below I'd love to hear that kind of stuff alright guys so we're

gonna seal all this skincare goodness in with the dear Claire's freshly juiced

vitamin e mask now again shout out to dear Claire's they did send me this face

mask as well this is a vitamin C and nice I might mask you guys know

absolutely love those two ingredients I've used this face mask a couple of

times and it is so amazing you guys not only does it smell amazing the package

is super cool and reflective it's actually a jelly and almost like a

little bit of a light putty it will slip right out of here if I keep it upside

down too long the texture is just like silly putty it's definitely not a

regular cream I am obsessed with this brightening mask oh my gosh you guys

this is so cool this face mask is actually from Gangnam Gangnam style

anyone uh-huh let's take a little bit of this face mask as you guys can see it

really is just like silly putty it's not a traditional cream I'm just gonna go

ahead and mix it up right between my hands and kind of melt it down if you've

ever used an overnight mask this is a really similar texture to kind of the

Atlanta overnight mask I'm gonna apply this all over this skin woohoo I can

feel the brightening happening already oh my gosh guys do you want to hear

something I've actually never talked about here on my channel would you

believe that back in junior high I starred in a musical dunk tanana I was

actually in Guys and Dolls I played Nathan Detroit hello I was a

main lead character can you guys believe that I was rolling dice I was playing

craps I was betting on horses I was Nathan

I was in love with a belayed and you guys the girl that played Adelaide in

the musical actually follows me here on YouTube I see you girl if you're

watching this shout out special to you honestly junior high was the good old

days I love to junior high you guys I was involved in so many different clubs

I was involved in so many different like theater club music club everything was

always so artistic I think that's why I love YouTube so much I'm definitely an

artistic person and I love to express myself to art that's why I love creating

these videos and doing all these setups and all this elaborate lighting and

editing it just fulfills my artistic side and I love it anyway back to the

musical that was actually the only acting that I've ever done but I

remember it took so much work in time to be in that musical it took like a whole

years worth of preparation for the final performance at the end of the year but

it's so amazing when you're in a play and you finally make it to show date

like shut up to all the performers out there whether you're a dancer a singer

and actor like doing creative things is so important in this world so if you're

an artistic person out there go with it try something new paint a painting start

a YouTube channel I mean you can do all kinds of stuff and that guys is a wrap

on another face mask in chat video I hope you guys enjoyed coming over and

hanging out with me I hope you did a little pamper a shin session if you're

looking a little more snatched and relaxed than you were when you started

this video if you want to hang out with me even more between now and next video

hello everybody, this video is to show the effectiveness

of the natural bait vs lures

on my right side you will see a fisherman fishing mackerel with float

and they lose 500 to 0

in this case it was from fish 1 to 8

that it was as far as the battery lasted, she should go halfway

so is over

does not mean that they did not take fish, they took fish

the goal was to reach the 10 and stayed in the 8 but they recovered

when I got to 10 already each of them had taken 2, that is 10-2-2-0

they were recovering because the shoal was approaching

my great advantage

is that I look for the fish wherever I want

thing they can not, they can not cast 20 meters

I can cast 20 meters without any problem

I was fishing with line 0.10 and terminal 0.20 you don´t need more than that

very important, if you have other fishermennear you close the drag

because the mackerels when they run, run to the sides and if you have not closed the drag the lines mix

and no one will be happy, I am fishing light but the fish has no chance

Celebrity Chefs Everyone Hates Working With - Duration: 4:04.

Celebrity chefs can be particularly difficult to work with.

Some are impossible on the sets of their shows, and others treat their employees poorly to

say the least.

Whether it's the pressure of working in such a fast-paced industry, or they've just let

their fame get to their heads, a lot of famous chefs have been complete nightmares in the

workplace.

Here are some of the most notoriously difficult celeb chefs on the cooking scene.

Guy Fieri

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host Guy Fieri might be one of the most notoriously impossible

people to work with in any industry, let alone the cooking business.

David Page, the creator of the show, told City Pages that Fieri is prone to making tasteless

jokes, he goes on vulgar rants, and he's apparently unable to look women in the eyes.

Page explained,

"When cutting the show, you had to tell the editors to watch Guy's eye line, because it's

always on breasts."

Fieri also allegedly didn't like working with LGBTQ people.

According to Page, Fieri told him,

"You can't send me to talk to gay people without warning!

Those people weird me out!'"

Yikes.

Gordon Ramsay

Is Gordon Ramsay really the jerk he seems to be on Kitchen Nightmares, or is all the

shouting just for show?

According to the many allegations brought against him by former employees, Ramsay isn't

the easiest person to get along with.

"You work like a pig.

You French Pig!"

A former assistant manager who worked for Ramsay told Insider that Ramsay was, unsurprisingly,

prone to profanity-laced rants.

Additionally, Ramsay's former right-hand-man, James Atherton, told the Daily Mail,

"People think prison's tough, but compared to working for Gordon it'd be a breeze."

According to HuffPost, Ramsay has also been sued by former employees for not paying them

enough for overtime hours.

The celeb chef's lack of respect for his co-workers isn't something he even tries to hide.

When asked on Twitter what the hardest part of cooking is, Ramsay responded, "The idiots

I have to work with!"

Marco Pierre White

Anyone who is mean enough to make the notoriously hot-tempered Gordon Ramsay burst into tears

is probably a person that no one ever wants to work with.

"I didn't make Gordon Ramsay cry.

He made himself cry.

That was his choice to cry."

White might even be the reason that Ramsay is apparently such a nightmare.

When asked about the crying incident by The Washington Post in 2009, White was suspiciously

tight-lipped.

In 2014, employees at White's Pear Tree Inn had enough of his behavior and staged a walkout.

According to the Daily Mail, locals were also unhappy with White's takeover of the long-standing

gastro-pub, as he raised the prices of drinks after taking over the place.

White ended up selling the business shortly after the walkout.

Paula Deen

Aside from the infamous use of a racial slur that cost Paula Deen her reputation, the chef

also has a history of treating her employees unfairly reportedly not paying some of them

except with beer.

A former cook who worked at Deen's restaurant, Bubba's Oyster House, told Radar Online that

he and his coworkers were treated poorly and unfairly compensated.

Deen also allegedly took advantage of Dora Charles, a cook who worked with Deen at the

start of her career and created many of the recipes used in Deen's restaurants.

According to the New York Times, Deen claimed that Charles was her friend, and promised

to bring her along with her when she made it big.

However, Deen continued to pay her loyal employee just $10 an hour, even after she became a

Food Network star.

"I told her at times I didn't have enough money to buy my own medication."

Batali, Besh, and Isabella

Unfortunately, there seems to be a link between celeb chefs and harassment.

Multiple chefs have had lawsuits filed against them, so it goes without saying that these

guys don't work well with others.

In 2017, Mario Batali was asked to step down from his co-hosting gig on The Chew after

sexual harassment allegations surfaced.

According to NBC News, women who had worked with Batali claimed that he would make sexually

suggestive comments and would even touch them inappropriately.

In March 2018, a former manager at one of Isabella's restaurants sued Top Chef star

Mike Isabella for harassment, and accused Isabella of creating a hostile environment

for women.

She told the The Washington Post that an intoxicated Isabella made lewd comments to her in late

2017.

John Besh is yet another cooking pro who was sued for sexual harassment.

According to New Orleans Business News, 25 women who had worked at his restaurants claimed

that women in Besh's restaurants were subjected to daily harassment and verbal abuse, and

accused Besh of discriminating against them based on their gender.

Sports Stars We've Already Lost In 2018 - Duration: 10:38.

Boys and girls across America grow up idolizing their sports heroes.

Sadly, though, no matter how high they fly or how fast they run, even the greatest athletes

are still human.

Though their memory may live on forever in the hearts of their fans, the time inevitably

comes when we have to say goodbye.

Here's a look at some of the sports stars we've sadly lost in 2018.

Dan Gurney

There are three major types of auto racing, each involving their own special rules and

equipment: NASCAR, IndyCar, and Formula One.

Most drivers focus on just one of these disciplines.

But Dan Gurney wasn't most drivers.

Not only did he compete at the highest level in all three, he was the first person to actually

win a race in all three.

To top it off, in 1967 he teamed with A.J.

Foyt to win the insane 24 Hours of Le Mans, where he invented the iconic champagne spray

celebration common throughout motorsports.

Gurney passed away due complications from pneumonia in January 2018.

He was 86.

Oscar Gamble

Anyone who ever collected baseball cards knows of the legend of Oscar Gamble.

In a career that stretched from 1969 to 1985, Gamble amassed 200 homers and 666 RBIs, with

a career .265 batting average.

But he's perhaps best known by fans for his epic and iconic afro, which dazzled baseball

fans throughout the 1970's.

Sadly, Gamble succumbed to complications from cancer in January 2018 at the age of 68.

Chameka Scott

A native of the Houston area, Chameka Scott helped lead the Baylor University Bears to

a women's basketball national championship in 2005.

She parlayed that success into a pro career, both in the WNBA and internationally.

Unfortunately, after being diagnosed with Crohn's disease, Scott was forced to retire,

and in 2015, doctors discovered a cancerous blockage in her colon.

Everything malignant was removed, but the cancer came back.

The disease sadly took Scott's life in January 2018.

Jo Jo White

Legendary Boston Celtics star Jo Jo White accomplished just about everything a player

can accomplish.

A two time All-American for college powerhouse Kansas, White won an Olympic gold medal in

1968.

Drafted by the Celtics in 1969, White went on to win NBA titles in 1974 and 1976.

After averaging 17.2 points, 4.9 assists, and 4 rebounds per game over the course of

his career, White retired in 1982, had his number retired by the Celtics, and was elected

to the Basketball Hall of Fame.

White passed away from pneumonia in January 2018 at the age of 71.

Rasual Butler

Basketball star Rasual Butler was a journeyman player in the NBA, posting a lengthy 13-season

career that included stops with the Miami Heat, New Orleans Hornets, Chicago Bulls,

and San Antonio Spurs.

Butler retired at the conclusion of the 2015-16 season and resided in Los Angeles with his

wife, R&B singer Leah LaBelle, best known as a finalist during American Idol's third

season back in 2004.

On January 31st, 2018, Butler reportedly lost control of the car he was driving and hit

a wall.

Both Butler and LaBelle lost their lives in the tragic accident.

He was 38.

She was just 31.

"He was consummate pro, and everybody he was around loved him."

Edwin Jackson

An undrafted free agent linebacker from Georgia Southern University, Edwin Jackson was signed

by the Indianapolis Colts, and in 2016 started in eight games, recording 66 combined tackles.

After missing the 2017 season due to injury, Jackson was set to return to the field in

2018.

Unfortunately, though, he never had the chance.

On February 4th, 2018, Jackson was riding in an Uber on Interstate 70 in Indianapolis

when he felt ill.

His driver pulled over and the two men exited the vehicle, when they were both struck and

killed by a drunk driver who veered into the breakdown lane.

Edwin Jackson was just 26.

Zeke Upshaw

Basketball player Zeke Upshaw played college ball at Illinois State and Hofstra before

turning pro for leagues in Slovenia and Luxembourg.

In 2016, he got very close to the NBA, signing with the Grand Rapids Drive of the NBA Development

League.

Tragically, during the team's final game of the regular season, against the Long Island

Nets in March 2018, Upshaw collapsed on the court.

The 26-year-old was hospitalized and passed away two days later.

Rusty Staub

Known as "Rusty" for his bright red hair, Daniel Staub spent 23 seasons in Major League

Baseball, amassing 2716 hits, 292 home runs, and 1,466 RBIs to go along with a career .279

batting average.

A star for five different teams, Staub was beloved by fans of the New York Mets and especially

the Montreal Expos, who nicknamed him "La Grande Orange" and retired his number even

though he only played there for three seasons.

Following his retirement, Staub became known for his charity work, establishing the NY

Police and Fire Widows' & Children's Benefit Fund, and providing over 9 million meals for

needy families through the Rusty Staub Foundation.

Staub passed away from a heart attack on March 29th, 2018, at the age of 73.

Hal Greer

The Philadelphia 76ers have had some great players over the years, including Julius Erving,

Charles Barkley, and Allen Iverson.

But it's Hal Greer that holds the team records for points scored and games played.

Over the course of a 15-year career, spent entirely with the Sixers, Greer was a 10-time

All-Star, and in 1996 was named to the NBA's list of the 50 greatest players of all time.

The first Sixer to have his number retired, he led the team to the 1967 NBA championship

and was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1982.

Greer passed away in April 2018 at the age of 81.

Bruno Sammartino

You have to be pretty good at whatever it is you do if your nickname is the "Living

Legend" - and westling icon Bruno Sammartino was just that good.

A slightly-built Italian who knew very little English when he immigrated to the U.S. as

a child, Sammartino responded to bullying from his Pittsburgh classmates by becoming

a weightlifter, and in 1959, he set a world record by bench-pressing 565 pounds.

A year later he began his professional wrestling career, and in 1963, he won the World Wide

Wrestling Federation heavyweight title, which he held until 1971.

He regained the title in 1973 and held it until 1977, dominating an entire generation

of wrestlers.

Sammartino retired in 1981, returning in 1984 as a WWF color commentator.

He passed away in April 2018 at the age of 82.

James Hylton

Beginning in 1964, NASCAR driver James Hylton was the definition of a working professional.

Over the course of his long career, Hylton drove in an incredible 602 races, finishing

in the top ten 301 times, and coming in second in the points standings three times.

And he never stopped racing: he finished 18th in his final race in 2013, at the age of 79.

Sadly, it wasn't as a driver but as a passenger that he lost his life in a car accident in

April, 2018.

Hylton was 83 years old.

Dwight Clark

A 10th-round draft pick out of Clemson University in 1979, Dwight Clark was a 6'4" receiver

who played for the San Francisco 49ers for the entirety of his nine-season NFL career,

and he ranks near the top of all-time franchise lists for catches, yards, and touchdown receptions.

But Clark will always be remembered by Bay Area sports fans for the play known in NFL

lore simply as "The Catch," the last-minute touchdown reception that won the 1982 NFC

Championship Game and sent the Niners on the way to the first of their five Super Bowl

victories.

Clark passed away from ALS in June, 2018.

He was 61.

Red Schoendienst

There might not have been a guy who ever loved baseball as much as Albert "Red" Schoendienst.

He spent an astounding 76 years in Professional Baseball, beginning in 1945, when he replaced

the St. Louis Cardinals' Stan Musial, who was busy serving overseas in World War

II.

Schoendienst continued playing until 1963, making 10-all star teams, and winning two

World Series.

After his playing days were over, though, Schoendienst didn't hang up his uniform, winning

three more World Series titles as a coach and manager.

In 1989, he was enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame, and in 1990, he transitioned

to the role of team special assistant, which he held right up until his passing on June

6th, 2018, at the age of 95.

Anne Donovan

One of the most accomplished American basketball players of her generation, Anne Donovan was

an ambassador for the women's game.

Standing an imposing 6' 8", Donovan won two New Jersey state championships in high school

before leading Old Dominion to a 37-1 record and national college championship in 1980.

Due to the American boycott, she missed the 1980 Olympics, but led the United States to

gold medal wins in 1984 and 1988.

After playing professionally in Japan and Italy, Donovan was elected to the basketball

Hall of Fame in 1995 and became a coach, winning the 2004 WNBA championship with the Seattle

Storm, and coaching the 2008 U.S. women's Olympic team to a Gold Medal.

Donovan passed away at her home in North Carolina on June 13, 2018, due to complications from

a heart ailment.

She was 56.

Are You BAD At Smash? | Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - Duration: 0:49.

Over my time on the internet, I've seen a lot of discouraged comments from people

saying that they're bad at Smash (along with many other subjects), and there's something

I want to clear up.

Yes, you ARE bad at Smash.

BUT, you're also GOOD at Smash.

Let me tell you a story:

There was this one time I was in a tournament, and my opponent was this guy who I've never met.

Before the match started, he turned to me and asked: "Are you good at this game?"

If you think about it, there really is no way to answer this.

The problem with simplifying skill level into "good" or "bad" is the fact that it's

totally relative.

It's not like there's a line that separates good and bad players -- skill level is a spectrum,

with players so close in skill that the labels "good" and "bad" are meaningless.

Instead of telling yourself you're a bad player, which isn't helpful to anyone, you

should be asking yourself, "how do I become a better player?" and "am I making the

effort to become better?"

Because the goal isn't to become "good," the goal is to become "better."

Hey what's going on ★★★?

Such a nice day out. I just had to get outside enjoy (before you destroy it)

It's funny

When I was a kid I

Used to lucid dream a lot all the time. I'd just

Sit and watch the leaves on the tree

flicker

In the sunlight and

My eyesight it's not so good anymore. I need glasses. So I

Could see better in my childhood dreams than I can in real life that funny I

Wanted to talk a little bit about

★★★ Love! ★★★

That's the start of it all isn't

Yeah, I know everybody says

Love is true, and it doesn't really make sense to most of us

Like we can say like oh, yeah, you know

But to connect it all

Can be really hard

and even even if we can and sometimes

Other times we might not be able to it's easy to get lost in the illusion

I know I do

Got a very very very vast imagination

But I think a good way to put it is

Love being the start start of it all

Because love is the most ultimate simplicity

Yet we can't reach it right that true. Love that unconditional love

it's so hard right and

Yet we love

when we love

We know it's the truth and we can't deny it to ourselves. We try as we might

Do it try really hard until we trick ourselves and tell our minds that we don't know

But if you think of it

The only thing the way is the data

It's the mind

And the assumptions the memories

meanings that we apply

Love is simple

It's just true

But the more data you put into the equation the

More complicated it gets

Now I don't know I'm not religious and now

I've read the Bible in many different forms. I know that there's so many I know that

But I mean, I like to look at it just like, you know have a sense of humor with it

First thing we'll start labeling shit like a mothafucker. That's what he did and

To say that anything was inherently bad

But you know, logically you're gonna start labeling stuff

inevitably

you're gonna come to a split a

duality

idea

and I

Have a hard time letting go of that

I don't know about for you, but for me, I've noticed that every time I have a

Suffering

It's always due to a meaning

That I've applied and you are the one who applies it. We should not say

Society builders. We are your victims of our world

Because that's the giving up of free will that is to say that you are a slave and you have no choice

Which is an excuse

You cannot egotistically claim anything and get mad or upset at anything

If you're to also say that you have no self and that you are not a being you're just a machine

So there's the free well involved. That's very important. Very important. How can you have a sense of humor?

without it

How can you have the freedom

It's the hardest thing

But it's so simple to

You know, I mean all these rules we have I really wish I was fucking just naked out here in the Sun right now

I would love that. I would walk my ass around here naked. I've said that for years - I posted that shit one day

I swear to God I will and I will probably get my crazy ass arrested for it, but

You know

It'll feel good ★★★

10 Scary Found Footage That Should Never Have Been Shared - Duration: 12:13.

Hello Internet - and welcome back to the scariest channel on YouTube.

If you don't know the drill by now - then you're about to become duly informed, because

here - we harness the most horrific, haunting content from all across the internet - and

present it to you in one horrifying package.

Welcome to Top 5 Scary Videos - as always, I'll be your host Jack Finch - as today,

we take a look at 10 Scary Found Footage, that Should Never Have Been Shared.

Hit it up.

Before we begin - if you could be so kind as to hit that subscribe button, as well as

giving a big thumbs up if you enjoy this video.

Without further delay, let's get started shall we?

Jumping in at Number 10 - we have The Croatian Tape.

Found in Croatia on the 4th of October 2005, the contents of this footage is pretty disturbing.

The video details two Croatian teenagers, who - after buying a new camera - take to

their local area to test it out and film a few random things.

As the video plays out - things start to get a little bit creepy, and as the teenagers

are travelling down a road - they spy the shadowy figure of a man.

The man - is wearing a dark hood or bag over his head.

So far so weird - but then things get much worse,

Well - check it out for yourself.

Eventually - the footage concludes with the mysterious man violently attacking the pair

of teenagers, and the video claims that Croatian police originally released the footage in

an attempt to look for leads.

Real or not - the Croatian Tape is pretty messed up.

Next up at Number 9 - we have Broomhall Farm.

Otherwise known as No Through Road, this piece of footage supposedly relates to a group of

boys that went went missing in England - in the December of 2008.

As the report goes, the boys, from Stevenage in Hertfordshire, were eventually found dead

in their car, which had been parked nearby an abandoned rural area called Broomhall Farm.

When police found the bodies, they also found a camera in the car - which, as it turned

out, had some pretty bizarre footage on.

The 9 minute video details the boys as they joyride around some English country lanes

late at night - which is harmless enough - until they get to a dark tunnel, which is clearly

marked as having no through road.

They then become hopelessly lost, and seem to drive around for hours - lost in the eerie

darkness of the English countryside.

Eventually - they return back to that very same entrance.

And - well, why don't you watch the video yourself and find out?

And coming up at Number 8 - the Paris Catacombs.

One incredibly strange video began making the rounds as early as the 1990s - which claimed

that a camcorder was found in the deep darkness of the Paris Catacombs by an intrepid explorer.

If you didn't know - the Parisian Catacombs are a creepy, underground mausoleum that spans

some 200 subterranean miles of strange burial rooms and dimly lit tunnels, that snakes its

way underneath the busy streets of Paris, France.

The whole network contains a mind-boggling 6 million corpses, give or take, which was

built as the result of overcrowded cemeteries in the 18th century.

Most of the catacombs are closed off to the public - but it has become a magnet for daring

urban explorers.

No one seems to know exactly what happened to the person who took this footage, and it

is unclear just exactly what caused them to drop the camera - turn tail, and run.

The camera continues filming until the battery goes dead - and the explorer was never found

- despite rescue attempts.

And next up at Number 7 - we have Pennhurst Asylum.

Another found footage that alludes to the paranormal - Pennhurst Asylum, in Pennsylvania,

was opened in 1908 as a place to lock up people who were deemed unfit to function in society.

Since then, the site has become a hotspot for paranormal and occult activity, and has

a violent history harboured deep beneath its walls.

After its closure in 1987, Pennhurst Asylum became synonymous with ghost hunters and paranormal

investigations - and in 2008, two college students took up the very same mantle.

However, they got a little bit more than they bargained for.

The beginning of the video seems to be harmless enough - detailing the two students wandering

around the rooms of the asylum and goofing around.

Things start to get weird though, after the pair make their way up a strange staircase

- and then cut to an eerily angled shot outside of the asylum before going permanently going

dark.

Allegedly, the camera was found inside the abandoned asylum - and the pair of students

were never seen again.

Coming in at Number 6 - we have the Highway of Tears.

In British Columbia, Canada, there is a 450 mile stretch of highway where 40 or more women

have gone missing over the span of 50 years.

Most of these women were of the First Nations, and were likely hitchhiking their way across

the country.

The police suspect that this is the work of one - or a group - or serial killers, who

operate along this highway because of how vast and unoccupied it is.

Well, one of the missing women - Amber Tuccaro, was actually on the phone with her brother

when she was picked up by the last man to see her alive.

Police used this footage in the vain hope that someone would recognise the man's voice,

but sadly - no further evidence has been found.

It's incredibly sad to hear such distressing footage, and I sincerely hope that the Highway

of Tears mystery is solved.

Next up at Number 5 - Murder at Sea.

Now - this video is the definition of horrific.

This video is incredibly difficult to find, and is so unsettling to watch, that we're

going to leave its footage out.

Somewhere in the Indian Ocean, roughly around 2012, video footage emerged of four men frantically

trying to stay afloat on a piece of wreckage - raising their hands in the air in defeat.

Next - the crackling of gunfire, and the men are mercilessly mowed down, as a pool of red

spreads throughout the surrounding water.

Crew members of the offending vessel can be heard cheering, even taking selfies in the

10 minute long clip.

Tragically, no one knows who the dead men were - and their bodies have never been recovered.

It was stranger still, then, when the cell phone footage only came to light after being

found by a student, left abandoned in a taxi cab in Fiji.

The crime has never been acknowledged by the authorities - and remains unsolved to this

day.

Swinging in at Number 4 - the Jonestown Massacre Tapes

On November 18th, 1978 - nearly one thousand people of the religious cult known as the

People's Temple, most of whom were American, died in a twisted and bizarre ritual that

took place in the remote jungle compound of Jonestown.

914 people died - most of them by cyanide poisoning, although some were shot - either

by themselves of others.

Jim Jones - the leader of the cult, shot himself.

What remained, was the infamous Jonestown Death Tape - a historical document like no

other.

During its 44 minutes and 30 seconds of pure horror - the slow massacre of 914 people is

documented.

It is known as the largest single-day loss of American life between World War 2 and the

9/11 Attacks.

It's out there on the internet - but, if I was you - I'd leave it well alone.

Next at Number 3 - Grave Robbing for Morons.

Now - this is one of the most popular internet mysteries that has remained unsolved.

And it's remained unsolved for pretty much two decades.

Filmed in the 1990s - the video began circulating the halcyon internet after it's weird subject

matter creeped out its viewers.

The 26 minute long video, has a young narrator detailing how to rob graves without getting

caught - what bones are most valuable - and other grave robbing 'tips' - whatever

they may be.

Chillingly - he appears to hold an actual human skull that he's stolen - with many

viewers stating that it's just too legit to be a fake.

Whatever the answer, no one seems to know - because that's the only glimpse we've

ever had into the grave robbers strange, twisted mind.

Now at Number 2 - The Video Diaries of Ricardo Lopez.

In the mid to late 90s, Ricardo Lopez - a would-be murderer from Uruguay, who later

lived in Florida - developed a deranged obsession with the popular Icelandic musician - Bjork.

As he became more and more obsessed with the singer, Ricardo descended into a twisted spiral

of madness - and would feverishly send fan letters and research every single detail of

her life.

Over the course of his obsession, Ricardo Lopez would document his descent into madness

over a compilation of video tapes.

Eventually - he would plan to kill the singer by sending a letter bomb, documented in his

video diary titled "Last Day" - where he goes on to shave his head, smother his

body with greasepaint - and then eventually take his own life with a .38 caliber pistol.

All of it was caught on camera - and the whole thing is a terrifying insight into the torture

that takes place in a severe case of mental illness.

And finally at Number 1 - the Elisa Lam Tape.

Now - I'm not going to lie guys, the main reason this tape is at our number one spot

is because - well, it even creeps me out.

Usually, I'm pretty steadfast in my resolve of the strange, the paranormal and the unexplained

- but the case of Elisa Lam just unsettles me in a way that most other things don't.

On February 19, 2013 - maintenance workers at a Los Angeles hotel discovered the body

of Elisa Lam in a water tower atop the building.

She'd been missing for over a month - and her autopsy revealed no evidence of physical

trauma, and her manner of death was ruled as accidental.

But - contrary to that, as the footage shows - Elisa is in dire distress, and is appearing

continuously hiding in the hotel's elevator - as well as shouting at someone - or something,

further down the hall.

I don't know guys - you check it out, and let me know what you think in the comment

box down below.

Unfortunately, that's all we've got time for today.

If you've been truly terrified by this video, make sure to share it with your nearest and

dearest - and give it a great big thumbs up.

As always, I've been your host Jack Finch - you've been watching Top 5 Scary Videos,

and until next time, you take it easy.

LISTEN: Donald Trump Tells Omarosa 'I Didn't Know' About Firing | Heavy.com - Duration: 8:46.

LISTEN: Donald Trump Tells Omarosa 'I Didn't Know' About Firing | Heavy.com

Omarosa Manigault released a portion of a phone call with Pres.

Donald Trump she said she received the day after she was booted.

In the audio, Trump claims he did not know about her firing.

Trump says: "Omarosa, I just saw on the news you're thinking about leaving? What happened?".

"Gen.

Kelly came to me and said you guys wanted me to leave," she says.

Trump says: "No.

Nobody even told me about it.".

Manigault, who has been under fire for her tell-all "Unhinged; An Insider's Account of the Trump White House" has been described as being "riddled with lies" The memoir is about her tenure in President Donald Trump's administration.

In the audio of the call she said she received the day after her firing in December of 2017, Trump claims that he wasn't aware of her being fired because his staff run a "big operation.

"They run a big operation.

But I didn't know that. I didn't know.

Goddamnit I don't love you leaving at all.".

On Saturday, Maggie Haberman of The New York Times said Trump called Manigault a "lowlife.

Then on Sunday, on NBC's 'Meet the Press,' Manigault revealed a recording of Chief of Staff John Kelly firing her.

"We're gonna talk to you about leaving the White House.

It's come to my attention over the last few months there's been some serious integrity issues.".

Manigualt was Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison for the Trump administration.

When fired it was reported it was for her it was reported, taking advantage of perks like the White House car service.

Sunday White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, "The very idea a staff member would sneak a recording device into the White House Situation Room, shows a blatant disregard for our national security –- and then to brag about it on national television further proves the lack of character and integrity of this disgruntled former White House employee.

It's reported the Administration might take legal action against Manigault.

She said she was offered her a $15,000-a-month contract from Donald J Trump for President Inc.

, to keep her mouth shut about the Administration's goings on.

A copy of her non-disclosure agreement can be read here.

Other White House staff said they have signed NDAs.

But Manigault's also includes a "consulting agreement" that says she will be paid $15,00 a month.

It required her to not "demean or disparage" Trump and his family, and Vice President Mike Pence and his family, in any way and by any means.

She didn't sign.

A Republican GOP pollster said her claim that he heard "Trump use the N-word" was "not only is this flat-out false (I've never heard such a thing), but Omarosa didn't even make an effort to call or email me to verify.

Very shoddy work.".

Simon & Schuster published by the former "Apprentice" star and a longtime Trump confidante.

Last week Sanders said "Unhinged" is "riddled with lies.

"Instead of telling the truth about all the good President Trump and his administration are doing to make America safe and prosperous, this book is riddled with lies and false accusations.

It's sad that a disgruntled former White House employee is trying to profit off these false attacks, and even worse that the media would now give her a platform, after not taking her seriously when she had only positive things to say about the president during her time in the administration.".

George Conway, husband of Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway said that despite a claim in the book that Trump used a slur to refer to Conway's Filipino heritage, the lawyer who has not shied away from crticising Trump policies on Twitter said not only was it not true, it was "ridiculous, particularly in light of the timing of her departure from the White House—December 12, 2017.

It's absurd all around.".

And former Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele cautioned pundits and journalists from putting too much stock in a book he called "un-credible.

So ⁦@OMAROSA⁩ when you said: "Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump" does that now include you? Oh, and I guess ⁦@POTUS⁩ being a racist wasn't enough to stop you from working for him⁩.

#notcredible https://t.co/Bjaf83rDiq — Michael Steele (@MichaelSteele) August 10, 2018  .

Manigault fired back with a threat to release a conversation she and Steele had about Trump and former White House Chief of Staff for Reince Priebus.

@MichaelSteele should I share what you SAID about @Reince and #45 during our call?#GetSome https://t.

7 Causes Of Night Sweats That Shouldn't Be Ignored - Duration: 4:52.

7 Causes Of Night Sweats That Shouldn't Be Ignored

For most of us, nighttime is for relaxing and getting a well-earned break from our busy

lives.

But if you're waking up constantly because of overheating and night sweats, you could

be losing out on a good night's sleep and hurting your health.

If you feel like you're always hot at night, it's likely disrupting your sleep, especially

if you're sweating a lot.

Anyone with a serious case of night sweats understands how unpleasant it is to wake up

to drenched bedding and pajamas.

If you're wondering why you get so sweaty when you sleep, it's something worth exploring

further.

While usually non-life-threatening, excessive sweating at night could be indicative of something

more serious, like an underlying medical condition or a side effect of medication.

So what does it mean when you're always sweating at night?

Read on to find out more about the causes of night sweats and how you can get some much-needed

relief.

So what are night sweats, and what causes them to occur?

For many people, the reason they're suffering isn't related to their sleeping environment

at all.

Sweating at night is usually only one of the side effects you experience with an underlying

medical condition, so it's important to take note of other symptoms before jumping

to conclusions.

If you're wondering if your night sweats might be part of a bigger problem, read on

to learn about some of the health conditions that cause excessive sweating during the night.

Cause 1: Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis is a condition defined by abnormal excessive sweating, and the Dermatologic Clinics

journal reports that 2.8% of the population suffers from the condition.

Triggers for excessive sweating often mirror those of night sweats.

If you have hyperhidrosis, you might also find yourself suffering from fungal infections,

skin conditions (like warts and boils), and excessive body odor.

Cause 2: Infection

According to the UK's NHS, certain infections could be the reason why some people are always

sweaty at night.

It's often experienced in relation to HIV, osteomyelitis (bone infection), abscesses,

and endocarditis (inflamed heart valves).

However, night sweats are classically associated with tuberculosis (TB).

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says some of the other signs and symptoms

of TB include weight loss, fatigue, appetite loss, joint pain, fever, chills, sore throat,

persistent cough, and body rash.

Cause 3: Hormone Imbalance

Night sweats in women are often connected to their age.

According to Medical News Today, hormone imbalances, like those that occur during menopause, pregnancy,

and puberty, could be the cause of your discomfort.

Other symptoms of hormone imbalance include period changes, acne on the jawline, hair

loss, cramping, sudden weight gain, vaginal dryness, urinary problems, disturbed sleep,

and mood changes.

Cause 4: Anxiety

It's not always physical issues that cause night sweats.

A study published in the Annals of Family Medicine found that night sweats could also

be associated with anxiety.

This can cause a vicious cycle — worrying about being sweaty at night could actually

be making your night sweats worse!

Cause 5: Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea presents as shallow breathing or pauses in your breathing during sleep.

A study published in BMJ found that nocturnal sweating was three times higher in those suffering

from untreated sleep apnea when compared with the general population.

Cause 6: Certain Cancers

The American Cancer Society explains that night sweats can be early signs of certain

cancers — namely lymphoma and leukemia.

However, there will usually be other symptoms present, too, like fever, fatigue, appetite

loss, and unexplained weight loss.

Cause 7: Side Effects of Medication

Annoyingly, night sweats can be a side effect of many medications.

The Mayo Clinic explains that antidepressants, hormone-therapy drugs, and treatments for

diabetes can cause nighttime sweating.

If you're already taking medication, check the information provided with your prescription,

because it should state whether night sweats are a known side effect.
