That's why I'm proud to say you're mine

When you make a mistake or two

I still will be so proud of you

You are too sweet and far too kind

You never truly left my mind

I love everything that you do

Just know this song was meant for you

DIZ PRA ELA - Duration: 4:08.

"THE LAST WISH"

It's an easy mixture, you know? It comes...

-Shut up, wait! -I'm keeping it down, damn it.

It's a mixture. I don't know if I tell about it now,

or if you're gonna be able not to tell everybody.

Listen to me, damn it. I'm talking about the crepe.

There's a moment where, for example...

Damn it!

Fuck!

Oh my God!

CHAPTER 2 "SAY IT TO HER"

Adilson!

Adilson!

Adilson!

Armando!

-Where are you? -Armando, here!

-Fucking shit... -Up here.

-Fucking shit. -Can you see me?

Adilson, I can see you. I'm gonna get you out of there.

Armando, I'm gonna die.

-Something's going through me... -You're not!

Calm down, I'm gonna get you out of there.

Armando...

Say to my wife that I love her.

Okay, I'll say that, Adilson, but we're gonna leave here.

Say that it doesn't matter what life does to us...

...love will always triumph against the obscure adversities

from God to Earth

that submerge from high above...

-where the sap of life... -Adilson...

...comes from the skies to protect us.

Armando, say that to her.

So, you lost me at the love part...

That's English, right, Adilson?

Adilson, I'm not gonna lie,

I don't understand English, I'm sorry.

Armando, say that to her, please.

I can't, I'm sorry. I'm not gonna lie.

-Bring this, look. -I don't speak... What?

-Bring this to her. -All right.

I can bring stuff.

No, wait!

Fucking shit, you just opened your hand!

-What the fuck, Adilson? -It's the soil where we first met.

Fuck, but you just opened your hand!

-Damn, Adilson! -Armando.

-Armando, get my bag. -I'm picking the sand here.

Quick, in the small pocket on the front...

Which one?

Not that, the other one. Don't touch that.

Yeah, that one.

Fuck! There's a chick in there!

Give this little chick to her.

For her to raise it at the farm we never had.

-To raise it at the farm? -With the children we'll never have.

All right, I'll bring it to her.

-Armando. -Yeah.

Drop the chick, Armando.

In the other pocket, the longer one.

-This one? -That one!

Here. It's a flute, right?

-Bring that flute to her, Armando. -I can bring this.

Trust me, I can bring this.

Would you play "Brasileirinho" to her, Armando?

Fuck...

His family is going to eat for free at Tapicrepe.

That's the least I can do, right?

So, I had an idea.

For Adilson, I'll make a chicken crepe.

What?

Okay.

I'm going after Corporal Rogério. You go that way,

-and I go this way. -Okay, fine.

And the chicken crepe will have real catupiry,

not cream cheese.

We'll talk later then.

Wow, cool! There's a lake here...

There's a little lake here, he didn't see that.

Armando!

TO BE CONTINUED...

Allegri Praises His Team's Attitude Against Chievo | Post-Match | Serie A - Duration: 3:32.

We received a fantastic welcome here in Verona.

Today was a wonderful day of sport.

Despite the tragedy which struck the nation during the week.

Due to that it was a strange day.

However, we had to go out and play.

The lads played really well against a well organized, defensive Chievo.

Chievo made the most of the chances they had; they scored with their first chance and then converted the penalty.

However, my lads reacted very well.

A hard-fought win like this one on the opening day will do us a lot of good.

We started the game well.

We could have scored a second goal.

We had a number of chances to score.

But we were not incisive enough and then we dropped our guard.

We allowed Giaccherini too much time on the ball and then he picked out Stepinski.

Every game is a different challenge.

We showed that when we can open our opponents up we can be very dangerous.

We have the potential to be lethal.

Games develop differently depending on whom we face, and the flow of the match can change.

Winning the title this season is going to be very tough

just as it was in the previous seasons

the challenge this year will be more mental

we need to avoid lowering our attention like we did in the first half.

And that is why we conceded.

I was happy with the number of chances we created in the first half.

However, with Dybala and Ronaldo playing together we need other players to fill the gaps they leave open.

we need our wide players to cut inside and midfielders to step up

that will improve over time as the team gels.

Playing with a true centre forward Ronaldo was able to move freely

that allowed us to attack on the flanks more

Alex Sandro had more room to cut inside

However, over the course of the season and even over the course of individual matches.

Our substitutions will be very important; as I have always said.

When players come on and perform like Bernardeschi, Mandzukic and Emre Can, they can be decisive.

Emre Can made a great run through, which unfortunately Sorrentino saved.

Sorretino made a lot of saves today.

We had 26 shots today, 10 of them on target.

We have a lot of games to play and the formation will depend on a number of factors.

Bernardeschi did very well during our pre-season playing as a striker.

We have plenty of options available to us,

the most important thing is the team's attitude.

The players who started the pre-season with us are in good shape, the others need time to catch up.

That is why Douglas Costa and Cuadrado came off,

Dybala was able to stay on for the full 90 minutes because his role requires less running.

How To Socialize My Dog - New and fresh ideas - Duration: 6:32.

in this video I'm going to talk about socialization and how you can improve

your dog socialization skills all that I'm more including Elliott coming up

hello my name is Sarah I'm a dog trainer also coach dog owners if this is your

first time welcome when it comes to socializing your dog one of the first

things that you want to focus on is to start socializing your dog as early as

possible as early as two months old even earlier you can start socializing your

dog but in a form that is controlled and then as soon as they about three or four

months of age you can actually begin the socialization training and focus on

helping your dogs to be more social so one of the first tools that you're going

to need to start helping your dog to socialize is training the basic

obedience to your dog will help you to build communication skills so you can

talk to your dog you can teach your dog and you can also control your dog that

is very important if you have good control over your dog you're going to be

more able to communicate and teach your dog how to deal with situations and how

to solve problems also training the basics basically will help your dog to

gain confidence when they gain confidence they're more relaxed and

they're more focused as well when they are focused they are able to learn from

you and pay attention to you so that's the goal you want them to pay attention

to you rather than what it may or may not be causing stress or anxiety into

your dog so for instance in this case Elliot is learning to socialize with

this environment in this situation and whatever is happening around here so in

this case I've asked here to sit and stay so because he's done some training

before and he's able to focus and relax and focus on this situation so

there's cameras going on there's lights going on there are all kinds of stuff

happening I'm standing here and I've asked him to sit and stay and he's doing

what he knows which is sit and stay so this is helping him to relax and be more

confident and be able to solve this problem and be more social so he is

learning how to socialize with this environment in this situation so if I

repeat this many times the next time maybe the tenth time he'll be even more

relaxed than this this is the first time that he's dealing with this situation

and he's doing great actually so use training and teach your dog to

learn and focus on you so the other thing that you want to do is teach your

dog for example the sit and stay command which if you want to learn I'm gonna

link those videos right here that you can go ahead and watch those and learn

them and practice them with your dog and then when you get to a situation that

your dog is reacting or he'd get stressed you can ask your dog to sit and

stay but keep a distance between you and the dog that is causing your dog to get

stressed so let's say you're gonna keep a distance of 40 feet you're gonna ask

your dog to sit and stay if you see that your dog is responsive and is sitting

and staying and is relaxed that's a good sign then next time you're gonna

approach that dog within 30 feet and then you're gonna ask your dog to sit

and stay if your dog sits and stays calmly and focuses on you great you move

forward and if you see that your dog is not able to relax and it's more anxious

then go back to 40 feet again take the time to go back and forth until your dog

is more relaxed and focused on you so what that means is if you're asking your

dog to sit and stay on 40 feet and is relaxed and is focused on you and asking

your dog to do the same thing on 30 feet and your dog is not able to focus on you

that means you haven't practiced enough of sit and stays there for your dog is

not able to focus on you three need to practice more sit and stay until you get

that 100% reliable reaction from your dog so your dog can sit and stay and

focus on you remember the goal of asking your dog to sit and stay is not just to

sit and stay it's to help your dog to relax so your dog can focus on you and

focus on the situation much calmer so repeat that as often as needed and as

long as you need it it may go for months or it may go for only days but take the

time to train and teach your dog to calm down so socialization takes time and

dogs need you to teach them that so take the time to teach your dog how to

socialize how to solve problems and how to socialize in a human society if you

have any questions leave those questions in the comments area and remember if you

What These Video Game Characters Look Like In Real Life - Duration: 6:55.

Gaming has its fair share of iconic faces - but the truth is: the real guys and gals

who lend their voices and likenesses to your favorite game characters aren't as well known

as their virtual counterparts.

For every Tom Hanks or Meryl Streep in Hollywood, there's a Nolan North or Ashly Burch in video

games working tirelessly to tell incredible stories.

And it's high time you meet the talented people behind your favorite pixelated heroes.

These are some of gaming's most well-known characters - and what the people who play

them look like.

Senua from Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

Melina Juergens turned the gaming world on its ear with her stunning performance in Hellblade:

Senua's Sacrifice.

She even ended up taking home an award for her performance at the 2017 Game Awards.

But even more surprising than her powerful portrayal of the game's titular heroine was

the fact that Melina hadn't had any acting experience prior to playing the part.

In fact, she didn't even audition for it.

She worked with the Hellblade team at Ninja Theory as its video editor, and she only donned

a motion capture helmet to help the studio test out some tech.

As soon as the team saw her in action, they knew they had the right woman for the role

- even if she wasn't so sure.

"Because the scenes were quite dramatic, involving crying and screaming, and I was having to

perform in front of my work colleagues, I felt very embarrassed."

Juergens still works at Ninja Theory, though she says she's now more comfortable with the

idea of taking other acting jobs.

And she'd love to follow up her performance as Senua if the opportunity presents itself.

Quiet from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Before she was Quiet, the badass sniper with a soft spot for Snake, Stefanie Joosten was

a Dutch girl who found herself fascinated with Japanese culture and gaming.

So much so, in fact, that she studied Japanese at the University of Leiden and received her

master's degree in Tokyo.

It was there that she hooked up with a modeling agency that specialized in signing Western

models, and it led to her becoming one of the most recognizable characters in Metal

Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain - if, one of the, well… quietest.

[Humming quietly]

According to Joosten, she received a call one day about a video game audition.

The name of the game was a secret, but once she arrived to try out and saw Hideo Kojima,

she knew something was up.

She talked about the audition with Dutch newspaper Het Parool:

"There was a crate with gun replicas.

'Take one, and pretend like you're infiltrating an army base,' they said.

Kind of awkward, because I had no idea how to hold this thing.

Fortunately, I could draw inspiration from the games I play, the other girls didn't have

a clue at all."

"And there's nothing around you - you have to imagine everything.

And, well, that's the hard part I guess: You have to have an imagination."

Since her appearance in The Phantom Pain, Joosten has worked on several films and television

shows, as well as another game called ICEY.

Aloy from Horizon: Zero Dawn

Prior to becoming Aloy in Horizon: Zero Dawn, Ashley Burch had already made her mark in

video games by playing Tiny Tina in Borderlands 2, as well as Chloe in Life is Strange.

But what made her turn as Aloy so different was the massive scale of the role, and the

game itself: it's a 30-plus hour jaunt, and Burch was there to record every single line,

every step of the way.

"I felt like I really understood Aloy and where she was coming from, and I could conceive

of her having any of those reactions."

She took particular pride in making Aloy, whose likeness was based on Dutch actress

Hannah Hoekstra, feel like a fully realized character, flaws, weaknesses and all.

Burch told Engadget in an interview:

"You've heard people talk about the 'capital-S Strong Female Character' who's sort of humorless

and doesn't really have a spark and is sort of flawless in their execution.

They just don't feel like fully fleshed out, real characters.

And I really didn't want Aloy to feel that way."

Burch's work in Horizon helped cement what would become an all-around great video game

experience.

And Burch hasn't let up since then, either, helping write an Emmy-winning episode of the

cartoon Adventure Time, and continuing to voice characters in games like Fortnite and

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.

And based on the reception Horizon received, there's a good chance we'll see her as Aloy

again in the future.

Yay!

Kratos from God of War

When he was cast to portray Kratos in the God of War reboot, actor Christopher Judge

was able to lean on his past work in some big-name projects like The Dark Knight Rises,

Stargate SG-1, and The Mentalist.

While he'd done video game voice acting work in the past, Judge stepped away from the industry

after voicing Jericho in 2008's Turok reboot.

But one day, he showed up for an audition and read a script he couldn't put down.

"It's not a game script.

It's a script.

It's a fleshed-out story with fleshed-out characters."

It doesn't look like Judge has worked on anything since appearing in God of War, but it seems

his feelings on doing video game work have changed.

It's a safe bet he'll voice another video game character someday - and he might even

step back into the boots of everybody's favorite Spartan.

In an interview with the BBC, he said:

"Games are not just about the gameplay anymore, but about the stories.

There are wonderful tales to be told in this medium, and it truly is just another form

to exercise your craft."

Joel from The Last of Us

There may be no busier man in video game acting than Troy Baker.

Baker has voiced countless characters in games and has provided motion capture work on several,

as well.

He was the voice of Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite.

He was Sam in the Uncharted games.

And he's done voice work in franchises like Mass Effect and Metal Gear Solid.

But one of his biggest roles came in 2013's The Last of Us.

And in that title, he not only provided the voice for Joel - one of the two main characters

- he also did motion capture for it.

Baker, alongside actress Ashley Johnson - who played Ellie - made the post-apocalyptic,

zombie-infested world of The Last of Us feel real.

And the two had quite the bond, thanks, in part, to Baker's understanding of his character.

"I just think that I knew something and I understood something about the character in

relationship to Ellie.

I understood the partnership that the two of those characters needed to have."

Here's to many more years filled with many more roles for the man of a thousand digital

faces!

Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series

Over twenty years ago, Nolan North started his run on the late-'90s/early-2000s soap

opera Port Charles.

It was right around that time he started to dabble in video game work, providing voices

in Interstate '82 and EverQuest II.

His repertoire quickly grew to include bigger projects like Call of Duty 2 and Final Fantasy

XII.

But his biggest voice acting role by far was that of Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series.

In Uncharted, which has spanned four games over the course of nine years, North provided

both the voice acting and the motion capture work for series protagonist Nathan Drake.

In an interview with Tech Radar, North spoke about how similar acting in Uncharted was

to his past work: "For a lot of games, you're in a booth.

You're alone," he said.

"Uncharted is more like doing live action than it is doing any of the other games."

And North, somehow, someway, has found more time to do it all.

In June 2017, he wrapped up seven seasons of the TV series Pretty Little Liars.

And he was cast in the part of Edward Richtofen in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Now that's what we call multi-tasking!

Do Tariffs Help or Hurt You? | WheelHouse - Duration: 7:17.

- They say nothing is certain but death and taxes.

But what about tariffs?

We know they affect trade, and we know trade affects cars.

A tariff is a tax imposed by one country

on goods from another.

And the debate about tariffs is older than America itself.

Do they help, do they hurt?

Let's find out.

No one likes paying taxes.

I think the Beatles put it best in their seminal hit,

Tax Man, when they sang,

"Fornicate in my fortress, 40k still my mortgage,

"24k my toilet, all my taxes reported."

That was either the Beatles or Rick Ross,

I always get them mixed up.

But taxes are in the headlines again,

as new tariffs were just announced.

So, do tariffs work?

(classical music)

The U.S. has had a storied past of tariffs.

In fact, if it wasn't for tariffs,

we might not be a country at all.

The year is 1765.

The American colonies still answer to their daddy,

Great Britain.

Colonists are pretty chill about it,

but resentment is growing.

Over the next decade, Britain continued to impose

more and more taxes on the colonies,

which were met with more and more resistance.

Most notably, the Boston Tea Party, which was

in retaliation of the Townshend Act.

It was this act that placed an indirect tax

on products such as glass, paint, paper, and tea,

and that includes Ice T.

In 1773, Boston colonists dumped 92,000 pounds of tea

into the Boston Harbor.

That basically kicked off the Revolutionary War,

and led to the birth of the U.S. of freakin' A.

(swing music)

Let's kick it up to 1.21 gigawatts and zap to 1930.

Pretty much the whole world is affected

by the Great Depression, one way or another.

While other countries got a prescription for Lexapro,

the United States turned to tariffs to try

to dig themselves out of the red.

In the early months of the Act, it was a success.

Construction contracts and industrial production

all increased dramatically.

However, because of weak-ass banks,

the success was short-lived.

The resulting trade war did nothing

but hurt the U.S. economy.

Isolationism and protectionism backfired louder than a 2JZ.

(car backfiring)

FDR vowed to make it right, and after winning the election,

passed the Reciprocal Trade Agreements Act,

relaxing tariffs of foreign imports.

(jazz music)

Cut to 1961, post World War II America is doing

great economically.

Almost every industry is growing,

especially chicken farming.

The U.S. starts exporting vast amounts of juicy chicken

to Europe on the cheap cheap.

The influx of affordable poultry from the States

meant that Europeans could afford to eat more chicken.

And eat they did, and the U.S made up nearly half

of the European imported chicken market.

Many countries saw this as a slap in the face.

Germans accused the U.S. of artificially

plumping the chicken titties with arsenic,

and the French just outright banned chicken

exported from the U.S.

The hysteria was referred to as the chicken tax,

and the tariffs rose higher

than a dirt child in the rafters.

(screeching)

They attempted to diplomatically make things

right with Europe.

Diplomacy ultimately failed, and the U.S. made their move.

President Lyndon B. Johnson imposed a 25% tariff

on brandy, dextrin, potato starch, and light trucks.

Oddly specific, until you realize that those are exports of,

you guessed it, Europe.

The light truck stipulation was a huge middle finger

to Volkswagen, whose van sales had been doing vun-de-bar

in the U.S.

After the tariff was put in place, Volkswagen's sales

of the bus dropped by 1/3.

In subsequent years, sales of Volkswagen vans and trucks

were nearly non-existent.

That's why you don't see VW trucks

on American roads anymore.

The tariffs were sending a clear message.

Mess with our chickens and hitches, get stitches.

'Cause trucks have hitches.

(rock music)

European car manufacturers weren't the only ones

affected by the taxes.

Japanese manufacturers, Toyota, Mazda, Datsun, and Isuzu,

were met with resistance when they tried to import

their trucks and utes to the U.S.

My mentor, Dr. Ian Malcolm, one said.

- Life finds a way.

- And indeed, car manufacturers found a way

to import their cars into the U.S.,

using some pretty creative methods.

Japanese manufacturers found they could ship

chassis cab configurations.

The chassis skeleton was shipped and taxed

only 4% upon arrival, and then was assembled

with a light truck body in the U.S.

The government caught on, and the loophole

was closed in 1980.

Even Ford got in on the action by importing

their transit light trucks in from Turkey,

with passenger seats installed in the back.

Once they reached the Baltimore port, though,

the seats were taken out and shredded,

and the truck transformed back into a light cargo truck.

The process cost Ford hundreds of dollars

in shredded upholstery, but saved them

thousands of dollars in tariffs.

In 1980, U.S. President Ronald Reagan put into law

a limit for Japanese vehicle sales.

Japanese car companies had somehow convinced

American consumers that cars can be affordable,

safe, and reliable, and had in turn started selling cars

hand over fist.

The protectionist president was having none of that.

The number of vehicles Japan was allowed to sell

within the U.S. dropped nearly 10%

within just the first year of restrictions.

Reagan did this to give American car companies

a better shot at dominating the domestic market.

So did the big three hunker down

and take Captain Miller's advice?

No, the companies acted like entitled rich kids

with carte blanche.

Do you know who my dad is?

Come at me, bro.

Without the fear of better cars encroaching

on their territory, American car companies

artificially raised prices by reducing the amount

of cars coming off the assembly line.

Decreasing supply increases value, that's microeconomics.

Or is that macroeconomics?

Supply and demand, my dudes.

And they laid off 60,000 workers.

And the quality of the cars went down

while car buyers were hit with an average

of $1,000 hike on car prices.

You know what they say.

Give a mouse a cookie and that mouse will eventually

destroy the middle class.

(drum solo)

In fact, this false sense of security set the tone

for the U.S. auto industry for the next two decades,

and ultimately can be linked to its near collapse

before the bailout of 2009.

But the Reagan-era tariffs did something else.

In order to retain a share of the American auto market,

foreign car companies set up American factories

to build their products.

Regardless of your stance on what it means to buy American,

there's thousands of American auto workers

in Ohio, Kentucky, and all over the United States

who are employed because of foreign-owned auto companies

building their cars in this country.

(gentle music)

So now we're hearing a lot about new tariffs,

and the debate is raging again.

And the biggest drawback to the tariffs, as I see it,

doesn't have to do with numbers.

It has to do with people.

If you haven't noticed, I love cars.

But not just American cars, cars from anywhere are cool.

And people everywhere can agree on that.

NEXGADGET 8 in 1 Aluminum Charging Stand Review [For iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods, and Apple Pencil] - Duration: 4:57.

Hey guys it's Greg with Apple Explained, and today we're going to take a closer look

at the NEXGADGET charging stand.

Now this product addresses a problem I think most Apple fans are having today, and that

is power management.

Because every new device that Apple releases adds one more charging cable to our desk or

nightstand, and I don't know about you, but my desk was becoming a power cable jungle

by the time I got my Apple Watch.

So I started looking into solutions to this problem and discovered a whole category of

all-in-one charging stands that simplify power management and makes your desk look a whole

lot cleaner.

Now out of all the charging stands I found while looking through Amazon, this model from

NEXGADGET looked the most promising.

If you want to check it out for yourself, there's a link in the description.

It had great reviews and offered wireless charging, which many other stands didn't

have.

So I reached out to NEXGADGET and they were kind enough to sponsor this video so I could

review their product in-depth for all of you guys.

And they actually took things even further by offering a free charging stand to the first

twenty people who contact them.

So if you happen to catch this video early, their email address is in the description.

So when you buy one of these things it shows up in a cardboard package and some assembly

is required.

Luckily they provide everything you need to put it together including a screw driver,

which is something I really appreciated.

In fact, the only thing you need to supply to make this charging stand fully functional

is an Apple Watch power cable.

NEXGADGET provides the lightning cable needed to power your AirPods, in addition to a microUSB

cable that powers the QI wireless charging pad.

There's also a power cable for the charging stand itself, and a switch to turn it on,

at which point it'll start delivering power to all connected devices.

Now once this thing is assembled, you'll notice that it's surprisingly solid.

And that's because the charging pad and AirPod dock are both metal, while the base

is made from a soft-touch plastic.

Something else I really appreciated about this stand was its reflective chamfered edges,

its a small design touch but makes the product feel much more premium.

Now let's explore just how functional this thing is.

First, is the AirPod dock.

Because of its solid metal build you can connect and disconnect the AirPod case from the lightning

cable with as much force as needed, and you wont get any movement from the dock or cable.

This was actually pretty impressive since I fed the cable through the dock myself while

assembling and it only took two small screws to get this thing secured in place.

Now something I've found myself doing is opening the case while its docked and grabbing

my AirPods, then leaving the case open until I put the AirPods back inside.

Which is actually really convenient since the dock is much more accessible in this upright

position compared to laying flat on my desk.

And we can find the second feature of this charging stand integrated into the AirPod

dock itself, and that's the magnetic Apple Watch connector.

Now this is my Apple Watch power cable that I fed through the charging stand while assembling,

and I love charging my Apple Watch this way.

It eliminates the annoying problem I have in the dark when I can't tell which side

of the charging cable is the magnetic side and I have to fumble with it before actually

connecting my watch.

It also activates nightstand mode on the Apple Watch which I use as a digital clock before

going to bed.

Now I want to point out that many of the charging stands I found didn't integrate the Apple

Watch connector with the AirPod dock, and it's something I really enjoy about this

model since it gives the whole thing a much more clean, seamless look.

Now the third feature is probably one of the coolest, and that's the QI wireless charging

pad.

I tested this out with an iPhone X, and it worked without a case and with a case, so

this is definitely the most convenient way to charge any device that has wireless charging

capabilities.

But there's an extra feature here that really takes this to the next level.

You can actually adjust the height of the charging pad to allow your device to charge

in portrait or landscape.

And this is a big deal for people who like watching videos on their smartphone, because

this means you now have a stand to prop up your device while watch videos but also charge

it at the same time.

And that's one of my favorite features of this thing.

So the fourth feature may seem minor but it is a clever addition, and that's a place

to store your Apple Pencil.

Now I don't actually own an Apple Pencil so I keep a ballpoint pen there instead, but

that just proves how flexible this charging stand is depending on your needs.

Now the fifth and sixth features of this model are on the back.

And those are two USB ports for connecting additional devices to charge as needed.

And I highly recommend you guys check this thing out, there's a link to it in the description.

It's not only made my desk setup much cleaner, but it's made charging all my devices more

convenient and it's opened up a couple USB ports on my computer that were previously

used by power cables, so that's also something I appreciate.

Now I hope you guys enjoyed this close look at NEXGADGETS wireless charging stand, don't

forget to subscribe if you'd like to see more product reviews, thanks for watching

and I'll see you next time.

2018 BMW M4 Vs. 2018 Ford Mustang GT PP2 — Cars.com - Duration: 11:27.

track-day there isn't a car enthusiast on the planet that either hasn't been to

one or who doesn't want to go to one and for good reason it's a heck of a lot of

fun and one of the best cars to take to a track day might just be this one this

is the 2018 BMW m4 this one even has the competition package it has everything

you could possibly need to go fast on the track and have a really good time

doing so it's got a 444 horsepower twin turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine

you've got 19-inch michelin super sport tires you've got a 7-speed dual-clutch

automatic transmission rear-wheel drive adjustable everything the thing goes

zero to 60 in $87,000 and you thought to ourselves can you have as much fun in a

track day for a little bit less money well Ford answered our question they

think that's this this is the 2018 Mustang GT with the Performance Pack -

it has a lot of the same numbers as the BMW except for one it only costs 46,000

dollars now we've decided to have our own track day here at Gingerman Raceway

in Western Michigan to see how the two of these compare out there now despite

the price difference these two really aren't as different as you might think

they both weigh about the same they both have a super powerful engine in the case

of the Mustang it's a 460 horsepower naturally aspirated 5 liter v8 you've

got a six-speed manual transmission and the tires on this thing are michelin

sport cup 2 tires these are basically racing tires with a minimal groove you

don't really want to drive them in the wet but here at the dry track it should

be a lot of fun

the performance pack 2 really does change how the Mustang feels performance

pack 1 is still decent I mean you've got the thicker rear stabilizer bars you got

a different shock to you got a different tune to the mat your ID as well but the

performance pack to all of that gets amped up even more and it totally

transforms how the Mustang GT it is so much lighter than the last one

not in terms of an actual pounds but how the front end responds when you turn

into a corner it is so much more direct it is so much more linear there's a lot

of feedback as well it's progressive it's really quite good it reminds me a

lot of the Camaro SS one le package which honestly the performance back to

was designed to fight the grip from these tires is really quite fantastic

you're rolling on Michelin Pilot Sport cup 2 cup tubes are basically racing

tires they have a little bit of a groove to them but really accomplished so

there's slicks and when you get them hot the width of these things really helps

this Mustang stick to whatever track you've taken it on

and listen to this noise

that is pure American glory friends it doesn't sound any better than that want

to hear it again I want to hear it again

absolutely so plus this and the m4 have an electronic suspension the Mustang has

the Magna ride dampers as a cult and it's always adjusting things it's

reading the pavement it's reading your inputs it's reading where the wheels are

and it's always making changes so that it can optimize what the car is doing

out on the street it really provides an excellent balance in terms of handling

and ride quality and here on the track you put the thing in track mode it firms

it up nicely but it's never punishing even in the firmest mode it's really not

a penalty box at all it's still very supple it's still really well damped you

don't have to basically go to the bathroom every time you get out of the

thing because it's punched your kidneys for the last 10 miles it really is tuned

but eautifully one of the m4s biggest differences from

the Mustang is the amount of adjustability and customization you have

with all of the settings in here steering feel transmission shift points

suspension firmness all of it is variable in a number of different ways

there is no sport mode in the m4 you've got a bunch of different variables you

could program into your own custom sport mode there are a couple of buttons on

the steering wheel here m1 and m2 and you can set all of these things in

whatever combination you want and just turn them on with a push of a button

that's kind of neat if you're driving it to the track and you want it to be

comfortable and once you get to the track pop one button turns it from a

street cruiser in to attract you the problem I have with the m4 is that

there's I think too much electronic wizardry happening between you and the

machine itself it's certainly fast

spiritual connection that you get with the Mustang the kind of bond between

person and regime that I think is important when you're doing a kind of

track day event when you're out driving for fun is that a driver for

transportation yes it definitely goes fast but it goes

fast in a more clinical kind of way it's a very different approach to speed than

we see with the American Mustang this is really all about technical precision

less about the feel of it I think one of the strengths of the m4

definitely these brakes these are carbon ceramic brakes they're not cheap and

normally carbon ceramics aren't one you really want to drive on the street they

make a lot of noise when they're cold they don't stop really well when they're

cold I don't notice any of those issues with these I mean the other over $8,000

for the optional brakes but out here on the track around and around again and

again you stop on these finishes you get some heat on them they do not fade they

do not shutter the rotors are rock solid there's no warping feel at all it is

just going fast stopping hard again and again and again

we enlisted the help of pro driver Holly Heiser from CGI motorsports Gingerman

raceway is her home track she knows it maybe better than anybody

else on the planet here's what she thought about these cars for myself I

prefer the m4 over the yeah pp2 if the BMW to me like I really like that I love

the noise that it makes I felt like the turn ins were a little bit crisper on

the BMW for me the way I was steering in and the way that it was responding I

felt really really confident in that car seating position was good seats were

good seats were good in this one too I really liked the seats here but I think

I could get up a little bit better and just where I was I felt more confident

yeah the suspension I thought was great it felt super planted everywhere I told

it to go it went so I really liked that car a lot how much do you think the

difference in the width of these tires makes because the BMWs er they're wide

but the Mustang is crazy well yeah crazy wide and I mean just looking at the

tires themselves you know like we've got a huge difference what we were dealing

with here so you know that's another thing that probably gave me more

confidence going in because I didn't have as much slide in the BMW as I did

so I know tires are gonna give you a lot more grip but they've got to have the

grip on them to give us yeah so I mean it was a big difference between that

this with fresh tires on it would have made a big difference I think but yeah I

just I felt more comfortable in the BMW and I really thought that the

transmission was shifting and responding the acceleration was a lot like a lot

more it really was pulling out of those corners quick so so I mean that's the

question for you then is this $40,000 more fun than that is from the laps that

I took no no no a $40,000 more that's a big guy yeah that's a huge can I mean

I've got $40,000 I'd rather you know buy the Mustang and

put a little bit of money into it to even make it you know better for my

driving style so this comes into 46 grand yeah it is I think frankly I'm

screaming this thing it's a definite bargain neither one of these is like in

the power I mean you've got you got a 460 horsepower v8 versus the 444

horsepower straight-6 so coming out of corners I put your foot down if you're

in the right here there's there's no problem at all yeah it goes it

definitely goes and in the BMW - and you really get out it knows what gear to be

in and it goes really really well so I liked it both I prefer the exhaust note

on the m4 because I really like the way that it growls always I'm likened it to

a tiger cub instead of an actual tiger yeah so it's got a little bit more of a

tiger cub roar than an actual tiger but I like that it sounds fast and it is it

pulls out but you can't top the roar just bellows off the hills wouldn't

attract more there's so much noise coming out of this but it's kind of

appropriate for it I mean yeah it's early doesn't sound horrible

yeah what I think is a little bit higher pitch that's really that I object most

you about the m4 it's fast it's fun to drive but there's no there's no spirit

doing you know it's a it's a go faster machine it's a machine designed by the

Germans to actually do one thing that is go faster you can go very fast in it but

to me this goes fast and it has a lot of soul to it a lot of character to it as

well and the fact that you could buy almost two of them for the price of the

m4 this is I would I would give the nod to the Mustang in a sense yeah I think I

would too just based on price alone actually because it's still a great car

but that price difference is too big the Mustang was a full two seconds faster

than the m4 around Jin German raceway thanks to its tires aerodynamics and

retuned suspension but we wanted to see what its raw acceleration numbers were

at Great Lakes dragged away we got our answer discovering the 50 MW

transmission give it a slight advantage in the streamline streaking from Jewish

female prowl in just four point one five seconds versus five point three

we totaled up all our scores we consulted our hired pro driver and at

the end of the day we discovered that the Mustang actually came out on top in

this challenge which just kind of goes to show us that you really don't have to

spend a huge amount of money to get a super capable brand-new track car

although honestly it does help to spend a big amount of money if you'd like to

see how the two of these stacked up and more head-to-head challenges go visit us

Your Private Messages Might Travel Under This Beach - Duration: 3:57.

This remote beach in the far south-west of England

was a major target during the Second World War.

It was so tactically important

that the government's Petroleum Warfare Department

installed flame throwers all the way across it

to try and repel anyone who might try

to come ashore and sabotage what's underneath.

Welcome to Porthcurno in Cornwall.

Under here was how Britain talked to the world,

and to a lesser extent, how it still does.

- Under the Porthcurno Beach ran the original telegraph cables

linking Britain with her Empire.

What you're looking at is the cable hut

which was the original landing point for the cables

which ran from Porthcurno all around the world.

There were 14 cables. The length of the cables amassed about 186,000 miles.

The cables were dragged up the beach,

terminated into old valve terminations in the cable hut

and then the message was relayed underground

up to the cable station, which is the building that now houses the museum.

These cables were fearsomely expensive to make and to lay

and the last thing you needed is some idiot dropping an anchor on them

or snagging them in their nets.

The beach has got very deep sand and it shifts all the time,

so it's never been used for fishing,

so you don't have boats landing here regularly,

or you didn't in 1870, so it was a perfect place.

We also have World War II tunnels.

Back in 1939, when war was declared,

we had Britain's premier communications hub

in a very prominent white building,

standing out on top of a cliff in a sparsely populated area,

which wasn't the smartest idea.

So, 15,000 tonnes of granite was blasted out from the cliff

and the whole thing was moved underground.

- A lot of folks think that when they're sending

a message to someone in another country,

it's getting bounced up to a satellite and back down.

But, unless you're in a really rural area,

that is not the case.

Most comm satellites in geostationary orbit,

which means that they are falling around the earth

at the exact same rate that the earth is spinning below them.

But to make that orbit work,

they have to be so far away that it takes half a second

for a signal to get beamed up to them and back down.

The route around the surface of the earth is much shorter and much faster

and it doesn't involve blasting something into orbit.

Undersea cables do have their own troubles, though.

- November 2016, Jersey pretty much lost all its internet communication

because a boat dragged its anchor across the seabed,

took out three high capacity cables, leaving just one,

and Jersey was... not cut off,

but hugely reduced communications whilst they set about repairing them.

When they laid the first cable out to the Isles of Scilly from Porthcurno,

it was all well reported in the media

about how they were going to get connectivity.

What wasn't reported was that they'd actually made the cable too short.

So what they did was they got an end of cable,

connected this dead end-of-cable up to the landing station

and went, "Hoorah, it works!"

when it wasn't working at all

and then the media took all the photos, they went away,

and then they put the problem right.

So, don't always believe what you see on film.

Or YouTube!

- There are still active telecom cables under Porthcurno beach,

although they're fibre-optic these days, and they don't surface

at the Telegraph Museum's old cable hut here.

They surface at industrial-looking buildings somewhere further ashore.

One of those cables, called FLAG, goes all the way

from under this beach here to Japan,

15,000 miles of cable stopping at a dozen other countries along the way

and it can carry up to 100 gigabytes of data every second.

And it's just one of many that land somewhere in this part of Britain.

The fact that there's also several buildings owned

by the British Intelligence Services around here is not a coincidence.

So the next time you're in a group chat with people all over the world

or video calling someone on another continent,

just take a moment and remember that

somewhere near you there is a beach

with your conversation literally flashing underneath it.

Insect Bites and Stings | Insect Bites Treatment | How to Treat Insect Bites and Stings | 2018 - Duration: 4:25.

Abraham the pharmacist is coming to you from London today

okay so check this out and I thought to myself actually

I've seen so many patients with insect bites and stings this summer so let's do a video on it

generally speaking insect bites or stings often cause a small red lump on

the skin which can be painful and itchy the good news is that many clear up

within a few hours or a few days and it can be safely treated at home

I do have a bit of a sore throat

now if you didn't see it happen which most people don't it can

be quite difficult to identify whether you've got bit or stung but not to

worry because the treatments are all very similar and we're gonna get to that

a bit later on in the video let's first start with wasps, hornets and bee stings

they cause a sharp pain at first a swollen mark may then form on your skin

which can cover a larger area depending on how much you react but it's not

usually anything you need to worry about a few people however can experience a

very serious allergic reaction called anaphylaxis which causes breathing

difficulties, dizziness, swelling of the face or mouth and if this happens you

need to call 999 immediately for an ambulance now I've left more information in

the description below about anaphylaxis which I'd highly recommend everyone to

read and learn more about, now unlike wasps and hornets, bees tend to leave

their sting in the wound which is it very nice of them but you've got to remove it

and here's how you do it simply brush or scrape the sting outwards using

something with a hard edge like a bank card or a fingernail avoid tweezers as

they can spread the venom now we will get back to cleaning the wound shortly

but next up is a tick bite now they're not very painful so you might not

realise straight away you've been bit but let's say you have realised straight

away that you been bit and it's stuck on your skin well then you need to

remove it and you need to remove it properly so I've left more information

in the description below on how to do this now the symptoms include a small

red lump, swelling, itching and blistering but the picture I've used is one that you

really need to remember if you look at it closely it looks like the bullseye on

a dartboard a bite from a tick can make you quite sick did you see what I did there

[Laughter] I can't do it, it's too bad that joke is terrible, ticks can carry a potentially serious

infection which we call Lyme disease so if you do get the bullseye that we

looked at earlier or a fever then see your GP straight away more information in the

description below about this and lastly we've got the horsefly bites which can

be very painful and it can make your skin red, raised, itchy and leave you

feeling dizzy, weak and wheezy these bites can take a while to heal and can

become infected now with all insect bites or stings

there's always a chance of developing a skin infection so if you start getting

puss from the area or increased pain or the area becomes hot and tender to

touch then speak to your healthcare professional as soon as you can to

reduce the chance of an infection wash the site with soap and water after

getting bit or stung by an insect treatments when it comes to treatments I

think the three parts so to begin with lets start with itching don't itch I

know it's easier said than done but if you itch it's gonna react more and also

you're at a higher risk of it getting infected so speak to your pharmacist

about getting an antihistamine tablet and a steroid cream for quick and easy

relief there is also an antihistamine cream but I prefer antihistamine tablets

for swelling apply a cold compress and an ice pack and

raise the area the antihistamine tablet that we spoke about earlier will also help for

this and if you're in pain or discomfort then speak to your pharmacist about

using paracetamol or ibuprofen with all medication always speak to your

pharmacist and read the information leaflet that comes with it before you take

it and if you're still unsure about an insect bite or a sting or you want a

bit of extra information then speak to your amazing pharmacist and that's it

you're now an insect bite and sting pro and if you have any of your own tips

then leave a comment below because I'd love to read it too hey guys thanks for

watching this week's video make sure to click that like follow or subscribe

button now to stay up to date with new weekly videos it is really bad ok listen

to this a bite from a [Laughter]

got good back definition, "pull ups" pull ups

you might not be able to tell, that I'm not feeling well, but I'm feeling really unwell

[Laughter] I can't, I can't do this seriously it's such a bad joke

I'm definitely improving keeping hydrated but my ears are completely blocked right now I can't hear anything

Poker skills: Playing against the odds is a rational way to win | Maria Konnikova - Duration: 3:55.

Audience Question: You had a very interesting point that a successful strategy is not really about

optimization, but it's about computation and deviating from optimization.

And to me as a chess player the reason I've always liked chess is precisely because there

are no elements of chance.

You on the other hand are always in some ways a potential victim out of chance ,so how do

you kind of weld those two things together, how do you deal with the vagaries of chance

to make sure that you can always manipulate it favorably?

Maria Konnikova: Well, you can't ALWAYS manipulate chance favorably, that's I think

the bottom line.

But what you can do is actually try to just maximize what you can control.

So what I always do, what Erik has always taught me to do, is make sure you're making

the right decisions for the right reasons.

And so I might play a hand in a very strange way because I am exploiting someone who I

think is being— because I'm female one of the things that often happens is people

become much more aggressive against me, because they think they can get me to fold a lot of

hands and so they'll 3-bet me, which means raising my opens much more often with a lot

of weaker hands, or when I'm in one of the blinds so I have to be in the hand they'll

raise me much more widely, so they'll do things like that.

And then sometimes I'll have a horrible hand and one that I would never in a million

years 4-bet, but I'm going to 4-bet, I'm going to actually re-raise them with garbage

because I know what's going on, and sometimes I'll run into a really strong hand, but

more often than not I won't.

So that's what I meant by exploitation, I'm still not going to be able to get away

from the chance elements that happen in any hand, so what Erik is always very careful

to tell me is never—he doesn't care actually what happens at the end of the hand, he doesn't

want to know if I won or lost.

Like once the decision is done, it doesn't matter, and so the outcome—you have to divorce

yourself from the outcome.

You have to say, "Am I making the right decision?

Am I thinking about it the right way at every single step of the hand?

Can I defend why I'm doing something, even if I'm doing something really weird that

I wouldn't normally do in a spot like this?

Do I have a reason for it?"

And if the answer is yes, and if the reason is a good one, then I play the hand to the

best of my abilities.

And it actually sometimes helps when I'm in a tough spot to know that I'm going to

be explaining this to someone, that I'll be explaining it to Erik or that I'll be

explaining it to Phil or to someone, then I know that I actually have to think through

my reasons rather than just act reflexively, which can be very easy to do.

Sometimes you're like, "Oh I always do this here, I'm just going to do it quickly."

But to actually stop and question it and then happen what may—It can still be really tough

when you make the "right" decision and then you end up losing; it's not pleasant,

but you have to try not to think about that and to remember that you just made the best

choice you possibly could given the information that you had available.

And it's easy to criticize other players when you see them do something really weird,

you're like "How could you have done that there?!"

But you have to remember that you see all of the information, you know what hands other

people have because you're watching this on TV.

They don't see any of that and they're actually just acting based on the information

that they do have.

But all of that said, it still really sucks to lose.

TOP 10 UNTOLD TRUTHS OF DUNKIN' DONUTS!!! - Duration: 12:20.

The first Dunkin' Donuts opened its doors in Quincy, Massachusetts in 1950. Today the

chain boasts more than 10,000 stores in the United States and has become an iconic brand.

Dunkin' Donuts sells more than 4.5 million cups of coffee every day. As the name suggests

doughnuts have been the delicious compliment to their famous coffee. They offer a doughnut

for everyone including mini doughnut holes called Munchkins. Unfortunately, the doughnut

with the handle made for easy dunking was discontinued. Even if you don't run on Dunkin'

let's look at Top the top10 Untold Truths Of Dunkin Donuts.

Dunkin' Donuts vs Mister Donut

Mister Donut is a restaurant franchise that started in the United States in 1956. Although

its headquarters are located in Japan, it had a well-publicized rivalry with Dunkin'

Donuts. This was a family squabble that started when the brother-in-law of the founder of

Dunkin' Donuts decided to go his own way and become a competitor. The result was a chain

of stores called Mister Donut that began to sell a selection of coffee and doughnuts in

direct competition with Dunkin'. The chain did well in America but became a true sensation

in Japan where it is the top donut chain. The rights to all Mister Donut stores in Asia

were bought by a Japanese company in 1983. Mister Donut has been a big success in Japan

ever since, where they sell products similar to Dunkin's such as their own take on doughnut

holes. Critics could argue that Mister Donut has simply copied what Dunkin' already did,

but this hasn't stopped it from being a success. In 1990 the former parent company of Dunkin'

Donuts bought both chains and since then Mister Donuts have all but disappeared in the U.S.

Alone Mister Donut store still operates in Illinois, but the longstanding doughnut rivalry

is long gone. Peoples' love of the tasty pastries means that both chains should enjoy bright

futures.

The Best Sellers at Dunkin' Donuts

A segment of Dunkin' Donut customers have complained for years that the quality of the

chain's doughnuts has dropped since they expanded the menu with items like sandwiches and smoothies.

But there are plenty of donut lovers who still crave a warm donut from Dunkin'. The chain

offers a decent variety of flavors and a number of seasonal choices that usually sell well,

but generally, customers are loyal to their particular favorites. These popular go-to

flavors include Boston cream, powdered sugar, classic yeast glazed and sour cream. Some

of the crullers are also popular including the French Cruller. All of these flavors are

good choices and most doughnut lovers would happily munch on any one of them or most likely

all of them. But there can only be one top doughnut and not surprisingly it is the classic

chocolate glazed doughnut we all know and love. What's not to like? Even though it seems

to be a little smaller than it used to be and it isn't slathered with as much sugary

glaze it is still delicious and it still deserves to be Dunkin' Donut's best selling doughnut.

If you haven't had one of Dunkin's chocolate glazed doughnuts you've been missing out on

a truly tasty treat.

Building On A Name

William Rosenberg was running a successful restaurant called Open Kettle, but he decided

it needed a name change so he could make the most of the establishment's popular doughnuts

and coffee. Rosenberg presented this challenge to his executives. Rosenberg explained that

he needed them to come up with something memorable that would draw more attention to his popular

pastries. This was not an easy assignment, but the story goes they brainstormed ideas

around a conference table until Rosenberg's architect eventually came up with an idea.

The architect's idea was the now internationally recognized Dunkin' Donuts name that is so

familiar today. The name change was made in 1950 and the company now considers this to

be the official beginning of the franchise even though Rosenberg's restaurant had been

operating since 1948. Dunkin' Donuts has built a brand synonymous with fresh coffee and delicious

doughnuts. The company has expanded its menu considerably and gone through many other changes

over more than half a century of doing business, but it all started with a name change.

Dunkin' Donuts Tiny Treats

When they hear the word Munchkin, big fans of Hollywood's classic movie The Wizard of

Oz might think of the charming little characters who helped Dorothy on her way down the yellow

brick road. But big fans of doughnuts think of something else. The standard size doughnuts

loom large at Dunkin' and always will, but the tiny balls of deliciousness known as Munchkins

hold a special place with Dunkin customers. Since the doughnut chain started selling the

tiny treats in 1972 they have been a big hit with adults and especially children. When

doughnuts were still made by hand the middles were cut out and put aside and this extra

dough was used to make the doughnut holes. Today, modern machinery forms doughnuts with

holes from the start so the Munchkins must be formed from separate dough. The tiny treats

come in a variety of flavors including chocolate glazed, jelly filled, glazed and blueberry.

Some customers want to buy an entire order of a single flavor - often chocolate glazed,

but Dunkin' prefers to sell a mix of flavors to each customer. The chain also gave up on

the practice of selling customers just a single Munchkin. Let's face it: who can eat just

one little doughnut hole anyway?

Ready For This Jelly?

Are Dunkin' Donut's jelly doughnuts a favorite or a flop? This is a question that needs to

be asked. Some people must be buying them because Dunkin' continues to make them, but

this fruit-filled variety seems to get a bad rap. A fresh jelly doughnut is warm and gooey

just like all the other flavors. However, it seems like they're often the last ones

left in the box in the break room. The problem is there are so many other good choices to

reach for before reaching for a jelly doughnut. This list includes several glazed and cream-filled

varieties that continue to be customer favorites. Then there is the issue of the sugary sweet

jelly filling itself. Is it strawberry or raspberry? Let's not even get started on apple

and blueberry filled doughnuts. Is the jelly going to be distributed evenly throughout

the pastry or is just oozing out the side? Is the doughnut covered with glaze or powdered

sugar? There's always a chance that you'll be unlucky enough to get a jelly doughnut

without any jelly in it at all! Jelly doughnuts have been around a long time and, love them

or hate them, they're likely going to continue to be included in a box of Dunkin' Donuts.

Here Comes Dunkin' Donuts

If you're lucky enough to have spouse-to-be who shares your passion for Dunkin' Donuts

you might as well make the most of it. Perhaps a Dunkin' themed wedding might be the right

choice for you. A doughnut-themed wedding celebration would be one thing, but at least

one couple decided to take it to the next level and actually tie the knot at their favorite

Dunkin' Donuts location. Dunkin' offered the newlyweds gifts such as coffee mugs and of

course they left the ceremony with a generous supply of their favorite tasty treats. Dunkin'

marked Prince Harry's and Meghan's recent royal wedding in the United Kingdom with the

unveiling of the limited edition "Royal Love"Doughnut. The heart shaped treat celebrated the young

couple's enduring love and was a big seller while it lasted. Even Martha Stewart's wedding

page has gotten into the act. It offers 23 elegant ways to serve doughnuts to guests

on your special day. The ideas include having them as part of the coffee service, a doughnut

tower and doughnut hole displays that can replace the traditional wedding cake. If cupcakes

are good for a wedding then putting on a wedding that runs on Dunkin' has to be even better.

A French Twist

If you were looking for a tasty twist on doughnuts you might have found it with the cronut. A

French pastry chef named Dominique Ansel created this new treat based on a pair of classic

treats in 2013 and it became an instant sensation. Dunkin' Donuts introduced its own version

of the croissant-doughnut hybrid shortly after Ansel's became a hit and it has been a popular

choice with Dunkin' customers ever since. The treat was supposed to be a limited time

offer, but because of its success, it was made part of the permanent menu in 2015. Dunkin'

Donut's basic version of the cronut is called a croissant-donut and is topped with the chain's

familiar sugary glaze. Some customers have complained that Dunkin's take on the hybrid

pastry tastes too much like Dunkin's traditional glazed doughnut, but others have commented

that it has a unique texture and that makes it a winner. Dunkin' has released a couple

of special croissant-donut flavors such as the chocolate covered strawberry filled variety,

but the glazed option remains the only permanent part of the menu. In case you're interested,

Dunkin' Donuts also sells traditional croissants.

Planet Dunkin'

Dunkin' Donuts is popular around the world and the doughnut chain now has thousands of

stores in more than 30 countries and counting. Dunkin' likes to tailor some of its Doughnuts

to local tastes so if you are traveling abroad you'll have the opportunity to sample some

exotic Dunkin' flavors. For example, Its sweet treats are particularly well-received in South

Korea which boasts 900 locations. These locations in South Korea offer a spicy doughnut made

with Jalapeño sausage that sounds more like a lunch than a breakfast treat. Locations

in The United Arab Emirates offer a frosted yeast doughnut called a date doughnut that

features a date in the middle and a bit of date syrup drizzled on top of the frosting.

If you think a heartier doughnut option might be your thing then you might want to try the

Pork Floss doughnut offered in China. This treat is topped with generous helpings of

dried pork and flakes of dried seaweed. Dunkin' Donut locations in Thailand offer a colorful

creation called an Emerald Custard doughnut. This one starts off as a basic yeast doughnut

but is filled with a green custard made from the popular Thai herb called Pandan. This

sweet tasting herb is used widely in South-East Asian cooking. So if you're getting tired

of the usual varieties you find in the United States maybe you should give some of the international

flavors a try.

Running On Dunkin'

Weymouth, Massachusetts is the second oldest town established by the colonists in the commonwealth.

The town of Weymouth is a quiet shore community with a population of 55,463, but it has a

delicious claim to fame. Although Dunkin' Donuts maintains that it doesn't offer public

records about store rankings, the word is out that the store located at 755 Main Street

in South Weymouth is a special place. The scenic New England town is believed to be

the busiest Dunkin' Donuts location in the United States and possibly the world. This

particular store has been known to sell more than 3000 cups of coffee in a single day and

a lot of fresh doughnuts to go along with it. Neither Dunkin' nor its customers have

been able to come up with the reason why this particular location is so popular. The store

has generated a considerable amount of buzz on social media and the chatter describes

the Weymouth store as a little crazy, but can usually be counted on for fast, friendly

service. Customers report that this location makes its doughnuts fresh daily instead of

having them trucked in and warmed up in the oven. So if you're ever in the area swing

by the Dunkin' Donuts at 755 Main Street in Weymouth, MA.

Dunkin' Black

The Dunkin' Donuts black card is not part of a top secret government program, but it

is an interesting piece of marketing. There has been some confusion about the card and

this probably stemmed from the fact that the special card is not part of a formal program.

Dunkin' offers the cards to celebrities and some regular people who are members of the

loyalty program or are simply great customers who frequent the chain. There are no official

rules for entry into the black card club, but many people have tried to let Dunkin'

know they would really like to be made a member. To keep the program exclusive most customers

cannot be part of the black card club and are left wondering if they will be able to

earn it someday. For most people, it probably comes down to how much money you're willing

to spend at Dunkin'. For those fortunate enough to be among the chosen few to be offered

a black card there is a small catch. The untold truth about the black card is that this coveted

piece of plastic is really just a rechargeable gift card. Like any normal gift card, you

can use for your next purchase at Dunkin' Donuts. There's no special access to secret

doughnut flavors or anything like that, but for many people, the bragging rights can be

pretty sweet.

That might be lie that you'd like to make your friends believe.

With the online social media that doesn't really match up with your offline reality.

Because it is so sad to see that your perfect life is nothing but a daily dream

Because in today's culture you are told what you are.

It's either too skinny or too fat too happy or to sad. Too black or too white.

Too stupid or too nice too much or too little. But you are never enough

Because basically you are worthless. I'm sorry to offend but this is what culture says

To them we are incapable collections of cells,

not worth more than the dust on our bookshelf

And if that is true..

there is no morality either because neither good nor bad can be determined

by anything else that our ever-changing feelings so why would I base my worth

upon what the other person thinks no I'd rather base it upon the truth that the

Word of God brings. I believe that the pain that you have known is beyond

comparison to the glory and the joy that will be shown. I believe that the hurt

you are going through is there to strengthen form and make the real you

I believe that when we surrender to God death is no more and I believe that

after Jesus died he rose so Jesus Christ is Lord.

Who you are is defined by who you are made to be and let me tell you that

You are made to be a citizen of heaven, crafted by the creator of the heavens

He knit you together in your mother's womb. He knew you even before you were conceived

and it grieves Him that you won't believe because

He thinks that you are amazing, His masterpiece His creation.

The only one worth saving. And He did.

He made a way for you to look in the mirror every day and see a person that is saved by grace

To see his face and know you're saved, to take your place and run that race

You can know that you are loved by a God whose ways are far above yours

And even though you are imperfect, He is still madly in love with you.

Though, He tells you that you are not made to be a part of a world that finds itself wandering in the dark

because He and only He can tell you who you are really meant to be

For you are meant to be His

And of that I am convinced.

The Cardboard Kid - 048a: Kitchen Rush - Duration: 6:56.

In Kitchen Rush, you'll be taking, making and serving orders,

keeping your pantries stocked,

and making sure the workers can be paid.

Can you run a successful restaurant?

Let me show you how it all works.

There's a lot to set up.

The main parts will be to separate the ingredients,

prepare the spice bag,

ready the cards,

hand out player mats and hour glasses,

and place the plates, ingredients, and orders on their spaces on the board.

Make sure you lock areas depending on player count.

There are four rounds, each lasting four minutes.

You'll need to use a phone or another timer for this one; the game doesn't include one.

Before each round, you'll make your plans.

Between rounds, you'll also move the round-tracker marker, apply events if needed, and other tidying up.

To play, place your hourglass workers on action spaces to do that action.

You can only use your coloured workers, but everyone can share the helper.

Once you place a worker, you can do the action, but you cannot move it until the sand runs out.

If the round timer buzzes, you can finish what you were doing, such as cleaning dishes.

The action spots are maitre d', which brings in or discards orders, and can earn you coins.

The waiter takes orders and brings them to the kitchen, and also can bring out meals quickly to earn tips.

Shopping allows you to replenish your food and spice supplies.

Storage is where you store your ingredients.

Ovens are where you cook meals.

Most orders will need more than one oven action to finish it.

Spices work like the ingredients, but you need to reach into a bag to pull them out.

The office is where you hire workers, upgrade your kitchen, and repair broken equipment.

The sink is where you clean dirty dishes.

At the end of the round, check all the plates.

If you made your meal properly, collect the money and prestige,

discard the order card,

return the ingredients to the supply areas -- not the storage spot on the board --

and put the dirty plates in the sink.

If your meal wasn't finished, keep everything, but you lose a prestige.

If a mistake was made, dump everything but the card, and lose a prestige.

You'll have to try again next round.

Then you pay three coins per worker, and return (the timers) to the players.

If a worker cannot be paid, it is lost until you can hire them back.

You also lose a prestige for each unpaid worker.

At the end of the four rounds, check the served orders, money, prestige, and objectives.

To win, you must have met the objective and have no unpaid workers,

have at least one coin, and have at least one prestige.

If you did all this, you win!

The game is about 60 to 80 minutes, including set-up and take-down.

This is one of our longest games to set up.

If you start early enough, you might be able to squeeze this in on weeknights,

especially once you know all of the rules.

The player and game boards aren't bad, but the cards, tokens, and other bits make this a table hog.

You'll need a dining room table.

There's a little in-game reading and some basic math.

The tricky parts will be the speed and in-game planning.

Clumsy hands will also have a lot of problems playing.

I'd say the youngest players should be experienced eight-year-olds; older is better.

It was our third time playing, and we added the fish mini-expansion.

Lucky for us, those orders didn't even come out until the third round anyway,

so we kept ignoring them, and focused on the main ingredients.

We felt like we'd be close to the objective -- 21 gold -- but didn't know if we'd make it.

We ended up with 23!

It was our first win, and we all slapped high fives to celebrate.

This is a brain-burner, and I love that.

How do we get what we need while balancing the money and the workers?

Are we doing enough to win?

I really like puzzles, and this is one non-stop puzzle set to a timer.

With that said, this game can seem impossible depending on the players, the objectives,

and how the cards come out.

I'd actually like to see a video of the makers beating this game on the harder objectives, because honestly?

I don't even see how it can be done.

The art is nice, and the tokens -- especially the food -- are super cute.

The coins are low quality, the timers are terrible, and even though there are tonnes of cards, they're really ugly.

Most of the game's look, aside from the art, feels really sloppy.

Fields of Green, also by Artipia, is one of the best-looking games we've seen.

Actually, most of the company's games are nice to look at.

I don't know what went wrong here.

I've obviously never worked in a kitchen, but the theme and mechanisms make a lot of sense.

You have so much going on, and people are running all over the place,

and you never seem to have enough time, space, money, or ingredients.

It's bonkers, but in an exciting way.

Some people will be overwhelmed because of the real-time and need to be quick.

If you panic and freeze, you won't win.

If you keep knocking things over, you won't win.

If you aren't perfect, you won't win.

This game won't be fun for a lot of people.

There are a bunch of problems with this game:

it takes too long to set up and take down,

it's almost unfair in how difficult it is,

and the components can be fiddly.

But you know what?

The first time I played, I begged my mom and dad to play again.

I loved it, and I still do.

In a little over three years, I've played about a hundred games, and have over 400 logged plays.

This is one of the few that I could play over and over.

If you're like me, and want a completely bonkers way to spend a little over an hour,

yelling and laughing and making a big mess of things while trying to do the impossible,

get this game right away.

Body painter and topless model with clothes painted on reveal 'creepy' messages - Duration: 4:03.

</form> A professional body-painter and her model have revealed some of the 'creepy' and 'disturbing' unsolicited messages they receive on social media

American Jen the Body Painter, aka Jen Seidel, has made a name for herself on YouTube and Instagram with her incredibly lifelike outfits made entirely from paint

It's hard to believe that the painted models are actually naked and the only 'real' cover they are wearing is a thong and nipple pasties

Jen has been posting videos of a variety of stunts where 'painted people' have tricked strangers into thinking they are actually fully clothed

But now, she and model Marissa have taken to YouTube to talk about some of the 'creepy', 'cringey' and 'weird' responses their work provokes from fans

In the video, Marissa dons her own painted top.  Jen, who has over 52,000 subscribers said: "I get a lot of messages but I don't pay attention to them, especially the ones that don't make sense

"I guess they just think that eventually they will get lucky and I will say hi back

"  But her lack of response hasn't stopped some determined people from badgering her with odd requests and uncomfortable comments

In one message a man asked: "How much would it be to get my d*** painted like a rocket?"  Responding to the comment a disgusted Jen said "Ew, like a million dollars, two million even

"  Another message from an unnamed man to Jen called her his "favourite J*W" - a comment Jen said made her feel "attacked just from reading it"

Model Marissa, who shares her work with Jen on her Instagram, shared more DMs, including one from a "Damsel in distress' artist

It read: "Hello I would love to do some damsel in distress bondage art of you" alongside creepy drawings of girls tied up by the artist

"I'm sure there's a drawing of me floating out there" a concerned Marissa said.  "What does he do with the drawings?" she asked

Read More Top Stories from Mirror Online  She also recalled another disturbing experience when going to buy beer at a nearby shop

Afterwards, she apparently got a direct message on social media that said: "Hi, my boss is making me do this

I helped you out in the store today.  "Have to say you're the most beautiful girl I have ever seen

"  Marissa said: "He must have memorised my licence and found me."  According to Jen, she receives multiple long and rambling messages every day

One that was seven pages long read: "I carried you with me in my dreams even closer than normal last night and now I'm pointing my happiness to you

"You look healthier in each new photo.  "I wake at this moment thick and breathing deep

Jen said: "This message is making me really uncomfortable and I'm starting to get a stomach ache

"Does he really think I'm going to respond? I really feel like he needs a therapist

"  Since the video 'Reacting to cringy DMs' has got over 3,000 views since it was posted on Saturday

डर के पार है जीत का मैदान! 💪| Overcome Fear | Rinku Sawhney | Josh Talks Hindi | Subscriber Week - Duration: 19:39.

Hum darte hai failures se Hum darte hai rejection se

Hum darte hai disappointment se

Maine manch ki ore kadam badhaye

Mera dil dhadak raha tha

Itni tezi se dhadak rha tha

Ki mai uski awaaz sun paa rahi thi

Ki jab hum apne fears se guzar jaate hai, nikal jaate hai

To dusri ore humaare saare sapne

Baahein faila kar humara intezaar kar rahe hote hai

Ek 7 saal ki ladki thi

Jo 2nd standard mein padhti thi

Aaj uska English recitation ka test hai school mein

English, ek aisi bhasha

Jo uske parivar mei koi bhi nahi bolta

Na uske mummy-papa, Na uske bhai-behen

Maa-Papa aapas mein Punjabi mei baat karte hai aur bachho se Hindi mei baat karte hai

Lekin kyunki vo ek English medium school mei thi

Aur vo bhi ek top school us sheher ka

Islie sab expect karte the

ki vo bahut farratedar angrezi bolegi

In sabhi expectations ki wajah se

Vo ladki bahut darti thi

Usko lagta tha ki English bolna

Uske lie namumkin hai, mushkil hai

Usko sach mei English bolna, likhna mushkil lagta tha

English was like an alien language for her

Recitation test shuru ho chuka tha

Uska dil tezi se dhadak raha tha

Vo bahut nervous thi bahut tension mein thi

Apni taraf se usne apni poem bahut achhe se yaad kari thi

Lekin kyunki English tha

Islie use bahut darr lag rha tha, bahut zyada nervous thi vo

Finally, uska number aa gaya, uski baari aai

Usne dheere dheere munch ki ore jo Class teacher ke bagal mein tha

Uski ore kadam bhadana shuru kie

Uska dil ab itni zor se dhadakne laga tha ki

Use lag raha tha ki bahar aa jaega, Aawaz sun paa rahi thi apne dil ki

Uske maathe se, Uske haatho se Paseene chuth rahe the darr ke karan

Finally, uska number aa gaya

Aur usne manch ki ore apne kadam badaye

Manch, jo Class Teacher ke bagal mein tha

Usne apni poem recite karni shuru ki

Lekin ye kya, vo baar baar blank ho rahi thi

Vo shabd bhul rahi thi, Vo hakla rahi thi

Kuch samay tak to Class Teacher ne bardaasht kia

Lekin uske baad, unhe gussa aane laga

Aur Class teacher ne sabke saamne usko daatna shuru kar dia

Kaisa dimaag hai tumhara itni choti si poem bhi yaad nhi kar sakti tum

Aur English ka word to tumne ek bhi abhi tak theek se nahi bola

You know what?

Tum kabhi bhi achhi English Na bol sakti ho, Na likh sakti ho

Aur haan, Public speaking karne ki koshish bhi mat karna

TUMSE NAHI HOGA.

Us chhoti si ladki ki aankhon mei aansu aa gaye

Aur vo ek haare hue failure ki tarah mehsoos karne lagi

Jaise itna kaafi nahi tha

Class Teacher ne apni ek favorite student ko munch ke pass bulaya

aur usko is ladki ko zor se chaata lagaane ke lie kaha

Aisi insult ke baad

Sochiye uske self confidence

Aatmvishwas ka kya haal hua hoga

Uski self respect uska confidence sab chaknachur ho gaya

Usko vishwas ho gaya ki

vo kabhi bhi achhi English bol nahi payegi

Likh nahi payegi

Aur Public speaking jaise ki uski teacher ne kaha-

'kabhi nahi kar payegi!'

Use lga ki vo ek loser hai usse vishwas ho gya

ki she is good for nothing

Is ghatna ka uski jeevan par bahot hi gehra asar pada

Usse aisa lagta tha ki agar vo kuch bhi bolegi

To log usse reject kar denge uska mazak udayenge

She...She will fail if she speaks aisa belief uske mann mein beth gya tha

isiliye usne bolna hi chor diya. Woh ek bahot hi silent, shy, sehmi hui

introvert si ladki ban gayi, aesi ladki

jo apne apko boht hi chota mehsoos karti thi

boht inferior mehsoos karti thi. Jis ladki ki main kahani

apko bta rahi hu or koi nahi main hu

Yeh meri kahani hain mere sath aisa hua tha

or is ghatna ka, is ek ghatna ka mere jeevan

par aisa asar hua ki failure ka har

ka dar, log kya kahenge is ka dar

uphas ka dar, rejection ka dar mere andar

jadon tak baith gya tha or in fears ki

wajah se maine humesha zindagi mein

safe...safe jeena sahi samjha

risk leti nahi thi koi zindagi mein aas-pass log bolte the risk mat lo

haan mujhe lagta tha risk nahi lena chahiye Risk liya to fir fail ho jaungi

or failure se bahot darr lagta tha

darr se darr ke jeene ki aadat pad gayi thi ye jo fears hain na

ye kahi bahar se nahi aye

ye jo darr hain ye humare

aas -pass ke environment se hi aye hain

aas-pass ki jo bahri duniya hain waha se hi

ye fears humare andar aye hain kitni bar humne aisa suna hoga

ki you know ye tere bas ka nahi hain, tu or actor bhool ja

apne aap ko kya Bill Gates samajhte ho tum

tere se nahi hoga, kabhi millionare nahi ban sakte. tujhme to hain hi nahi

aise kitne vichar hum apne aas-pass se

sunte hain apne bare mein, duniya ke bare mein

or kab ye sari batein

humari sachai ban jati hain duniya ki sachai

humare liye ban jati hain hume iska pta bhi nahi chalta

or hume pta bhi nahi chalta, ki hum ye bhasha kab bolne lag jate hain ki this is not my cup of tea

mere bas ka nahi hain main kabhi public speaking nahi kar sakti

main apni baat kar rahi hu main kabhi achi English nahi bol sakti

na likh sakti hu is tarah ke ye jo vichar hain

ye humari identity ka, humari vajood ka hissa ban jate hain

ye sare fears humare in negative beliefs se aye

ek cheez jo main yaha mention karna chahungi vo ye

ki studies ne ye bhi reveal kiya hain ki ye jo bahari beliefs or perceptions

hume milte hain vo

90% of the times they are negative in nature

vo self-damaging hote hain nature mein

this is very unfortunate

or isi wajah se humare fears paida hote hain

in beliefs se humare fears paida hote hain

agar ye limiting negative beliefs nahi hote

to koi fears nahi hote, trust me koi fears nahi hote

Sochiye apki zindagi mein esa kitni

bar hua hain ki apko koi bahot achi opportunity

mili hain or aap us opportunity ko

miss kar jate hain kyunki apke andar koi fear tha

sochiye is bare mein or

likhiye agar kuch dimag mein araha hain

kab apne achi opportunity ko miss kiya because of a fear

konse aise dar hain apke andar jo apko rokte hain vo karne se jo aap sachme dil se karna chahte hain

Kitni baar aisa apki zindagi mei hota hai ki

aap joh important decisions hain apki life ke

joh important faisley hain apki life ke

Woh apne darr ke level ke hisaab se lete hain

Yeh joh sabse bada chor humarey andar baitha hai naa

Joh humarey sapnon ko chura raha hai

Woh hain humarey anginat darr

These innumerable fears, they are stealing all our dreams

Ab yeh joh humarey andar darr hain

Yeh humein teen tarah se prabhavit krte hain, affect krte hain humein teen tarah se

Sabse pehle jaise maine apse kaha

Yeh apko define krne lagtey hain, apko paribhashit krne lagte hain

Apki identity ka, wajood ka hissa ban gaye

Jaise mere wajood ka hissa ban gaya tha

She is very silent, she is very introvert

You know, she doesn't speak much

Yeh saari cheezein meri identity ka hissa ban gayi thi

Mere belief system mei yeh

koot-koot kar bhar gayi thi. Meri definition ban gayi thi

I cannot speak in public, I can never speak in English

Yeh saari cheezein mere andar mere ko define krne lagi thi

Lekin agar yeh sab kuch sach hota

Ek minute ke liye agar hum sochein, agar yeh sach mei sach hota

Toh mai aaj yahan nhi khadi hoti

Aur woh nhi kar rahi hoti, joh mai aaj kar rhi hun

Dusra,

Humarey andar jab darr hotey hain

Toh yeh humein bahot gandi aadat daal dete hain

Aadat, comparison krne ki

Jisko mai comarison trap kehti hun, you know

Woh mujhse zyada successful kaise hai?

Uske paas mujhse bada ghar kaise hai?

Woh mujhse zyada sundar kaise hai, smart kaise hai?

Uske paas do gaadiyan mere paas ek bhi gaadi nhi, aisa kyu?

Iss tarah ka comparison hum karna shuru kar dete hai, auro se...

Ab aap sochiye ki aap auro se khud ko kab compare krenge?

Jab aap khud ko kam man ne lagenge

When you think you are lesser, when you think you are inferior

That is when you start comparing yourself to others, right?

Toh comparison trap mei hum ghus jaatey hain, lekin iss comaprison ka jadd kahan hai?

Fears mei...

Fears ki wajah se hi toh hum inferior feel krte hain

Mai apna ek example isliye apke sath share kar rhi hun

ki darr ki wajah se hi mere andar inferiority complex bharr gaya tha

Yeh ho gaya dusra.

Teesra, humarey yeh joh fears hain yeh humein actions lene se roktey hain

Agar kisi field mei, kisi kaam mei humne ek failure ko face kar liya ya humne haar ka samna kiya

Ya humein koi negative experience ho gaya

Toh hum fir se uss direction mei action lene se darne lagte hain and action lena chod dete hain

Kitni baar aisa hota hai ki job se resign krte hain

ek acha business shuru krte hain, business mei apne invest kiya

business badey jor se start kiya lekin ek saal ke baad

apko laga ki mere ko woh sab nhi mila joh mai soch raha tha ya soch rhi thi

Apne bhot se challenges, failures ko

ka saamna kiya aur apko aisa lagne laga ki maybe I am, business is not for me

And you decide, I should go back to my job aur aap job mei wapas chaley gaye

Apke andar ek belief ban gaya ki business is not for me

Aur aaj mai agar apse kahu ki

Chalo yarr mere paas ek bahot acha ek business idea hai, chalo business krte hain..

Toh aap kya kahenge?

"Business is not for me!"

So, it stops you from taking action

issi tarah ke fears bhi meri

zindagi me bhi bhare pade the aur jiski wajah se maine apne zindagi ke

bahut saare important saal gava diye

maine bhi apne aas- paas ke environment se yahi seekha - 'Play safe!'

wahi karo jo saari duniya kar rahi hai. Ussi raaste pe chalo

jispe sab chal rahe hai, kabhi koi risk mat lena. Risk loge

toh haar ka samna karna pad sakta hai, darr haar ka.

lekin By god's grace, main padhai me acchi thi isliye maine

engineering ek acchi university se ki aur mujhe ek acche top

MNC mei, Bangalore mei

naukri bhi mil gayi. Uss samay ke hisaab se this

was a big accomplishment, this was success

saath saath hi meri shadi ho gayi, we shifted our base to Bangalore.

Toh duniya ke hisaab se meri life sorted thi, main successful thi

lekin mere andar ek ajeeb sa khalipan tha

jo mai kaam kar rahi thi, jis profession mei mai thi

main usse enjoy nahi kar rahi thi mujhe hamesha aisa lagta tha

ki kuch aur hai jo mujhe karna hai. Lekin woh aur kya hai?

uska jawaab uss samay mere paas nahi tha

aur mere ko yeh frustration kisi se share

karne me bhi darr lagta tha ki agar maine share kiya

toh sab kya bolege mere baare me - she is so ungrateful.

aisi naukri kisi ko milti hai? itni achhi engineering kari tab

engineering bahut badi deal hoti thi.

Toh mujhe darr lagta tha yeh share karne se toh main jaise - taise main

bina mann ke roz office ja rahi thi, day in

and day out woh kaam kar rahi thi jo mujhe karna accha nahi lagta tha

main khush nahi thi

kuchh saal toh maine yeh job jaise taise kar liya lekin

ek samay ke baad jo mere andar ki jo meri ghutan thi woh itni bad gayi thi

ki main usse seh nahi pa rahi thi. Tab maine decide kiya

ki main apne husband se, who also happens to be my

best friend, unse toh ye zaroor share karugi.

unse maine ye baat share kari, unhone kaha - you know what itne

saal maine darr ki wajah se yeh kaam kiya hai

Fear of losing my financial independence

fear of being called a failure, log

mujhe failure kahege. Log mujhe reject kar denge.

You know yeh saare darr the jiski wajah se ye main karti rahi

lekin ab mujhse ho nahi raha hai mujhe ye nahi karna.

Mere andar joh ghutan thi, joh dard tha

iss khali pan ki wajah se tha woh itna zyada badh gaya tha ki

fears ka joh darr hota hai na, darr se jo darr lagta hai na

uska jo dard tha , jo pain tha

woh bahut chhota lagne laga tha mujhe

aur achanak mere andar ek courage paida hui

apne saare fears ka samna karne ke. Main janna chahati thi

ki akhir hoga kya, main dekhna chahti thi

fear ki dusri aur hai kya isliye maine decide kiya

ki main resign karugi

maine resign kiya aur asaan nahi tha, trust me it was not easy.

Bahut kuchh sunne ko mila duniya se

bahut taane sunne, loge ne mujhe pagal bola, insane bola

thankless, ungrateful bola lekin maine

decide kar liya tha

mere andar kuchh toh badal gaya tha, mujhe nahi pata kya badala tha

but achanak ek sahas ek courage paida ho gaya tha

har ek darr ka samna karne ke liye

tab maine decide kiya ki ab main ek full- time homemaker

aur ek maa ka role nibhane wali hun. Main wohi karna chahti hun

aur maine yeh dono role bakhubi nibhaye bhi but

maine apne fears se guzarne ka nischay kar liya tha

aur kehte hai na ki jab aap ek baar aap decide karlete

hai, haan main apne darr ka samna karugi aur darr ko

face karte hai, dar se darna chod dete hain

toh ishwar bhi, aapke liye naye naye raaste nikaalte chale jaate hain

Mere sath bhi aisa hi kuch hua

Mujhe ek NGO ke saath as a volunteer

part time kaam karne ka avsar mila

Iss kaam mein mereko do realisations hui

Sabse pehle maine ye realize kiya ki duniya mein kitne log aise hain

jinko genuinely aapki zaroorat hai

Aur doosri meri realisation ye thi

ki jab aap auron ke liye kuch karte hain

jab aap auron ke chehre pe ek muskaan laate hain, ek hope dete hain

toh aapko ek alag hi khushi ka ehsaas hota hai

and that is exactly jo maine bhi feel karna shuru kiya

aur mujhe ehsaas hone laga ki

this was the missing piece in my life

Iski vajah se khaalipan tha

aur vo khaalipan mera bharna shuru ho gaya

yahaan pe maine realize kiya ki logon ke saath baat karna

unko sunna, unhe council karna

mera PASSION hai

mera background nahi tha isme, mera IT background tha

koi professional iske baare mein jaankari nahi thi mujhe

but ye mujhe samajh mein aaya ki main iss kaam mein naturally achi thi

Log mere session ko enjoy karte the, unka wait karte the

they used to ask for more of my sessions

Tab mujhe pata chala ki this is my passion

aur ye karne se hi mere andar ka khaalipan bharega

Tab maine decide kiya ki ab main iss field ko professionally pursue karungi

Lekin

abhi ek bohot bada challenge baaki tha meri zindagi ka

Motivation ke field mein public speaking is like a pre-requisite

aur ye meri zindagi ka sabse bada darr tha

starting from my second standard

Mujhe vishwaas tha mai public speaking nahin kar sakti

aur apne aap ko main anginat baar main bol chuki thi

ki public speaking iss janam mein toh nahi boss

maybe in some other life, but not in this life.

Tab maine apne aap se ek prashna kiya

maine apne aap se pucha, 'Rinku kya ye darr sach mein itna bada hai?'

ye itna bada darr hai ki itne saalon ke baad tujhe clarity mili hai

ki tujhe apni zindagi ke saath kya karna hai

tu iss darr se darkar, tu iss mauke ko gawa degi kya?

Toh andar se mere jawaab aaya, nahin

darr toh hai mere andar

lekin main ab rukungi nahi,

guzrungi iss darr se aur dekhungi ki haan dusri ore kya hai

main us darr se guzarna chahti thi

logon ki zindagi mein difference create karne ka mera jo passion tha

ye itna zyaada balwaan tha, itna bada tha

ki baaki saare darr chote, insignificant lagne lage the mujhe

Tab maine

250 logon se bhare hue ek auditorium mein, 10 minute bolne ka mujhe mauka mila tha

Aur maine iss mauke ko

jaane nahin diya, maine manch ki aur kadam badhaaye

mera dil dhadak raha tha

itni tezi se dhadak raha tha ki main uski awaaz sunn paa rahi thi

jo hi maine manch ke upar kadam rakhe

mujhe aisa laga jaise samay tham gaya ho

mujhe aisa laga jaise sab shaant ho gaya ho

haan maathe se pasine aa rahe the, haathon se pasine choot rahe the, bohot darr lag raha tha

aur maine bolna shuru kiya

maine kuch prepare nahi kiya tha aur kuch bolna shuru kiya

jitna bol, jo bhi bola maine dil se bola

aur jyun hi main bolna shuru kiya

mereko ek apne andar ajeeb si strength, ek ajeeb si power mehsoos hui

jo mujhe kabhi bhi usse pehle mehsoos nahi hui thi

never ever in my life had I ever felt something like that

It was very different

Aur mujhe aisa nahin laga ki main kuch naya kar rahi hun

It was like, I came back home

Mujhe aisa laga ki vo manch, vo stage, mujhse baat kar raha hai aur mujhe bol raha hai

Welcome home Rinku!

This is where you belong, this is who you are.

Mere dil ki awaaz, choti si awaaz jo mere andar baithi thi

vo mujhe keh rahi thi, Rinku, this is who you are

This is what you're meant to do, this is what you're meant to be

Jab main manch se utarkar vaapis jaane lagi

Toh garajdaar applause aur taaliyon ke beech se guzarte hue

jab maine apni mentor ki taraf dekha

toh unki aankhon mein apne liye ek garv paaya

Aur mujhe samajh mei aa gaya

ki maine apni woh power, woh strength

woh shakti ko wapas paa liya hai. Woh shakti aisi shakti

joh humesha se mere andar hi thi

Woh shakti mere andar thi lekin maine usko

apne fears ke taley ke andar band kar ke rakha tha

Kitne salon tak ussey band kar ke rakha tha

Woh din hai aur aaj ka din hai

Maine kabhi pichey mud ke nahi dekha

Aisa nhi hai zindagi mei failures nhi aye, challenges nhi aye uske baad

Darr nhi aya, aisa nhi hai kabhi darr nhi laga. Abhi bhi darr lag raha hai. Darr toh lagega!

Lekin maine decide kr liya tha ki

Mai har darr se ab guzarti chali jaungi

kyonki mujhe samajh aa gaya darr ke uss ore kya hai?

Aaj mai ek successful entrepreneur hun

Ek successful motivational speaker hun

Ek personal excellence coach hun

Aur sabse important ek English book ki author hun!

Thank you!

Kya mai yeh sab kuch haasil kar pati agar mai

apne darr ke agey ghutne tek deti?

Kabhi nhi...

Ek cheez joh mujhe samajh mei ayi woh yeh

ki jab hum apne fears se guzar jatey hain, nikal jatey hain

Toh dusri ore humarey sarey sapne

baahein falake humara intezaar kar rahe hotey hain

Darr ki jab aap aakhon mei aakhein daal ke dekhenge

aur usse guzarenge toh dusri ore aap apne hurr us

sapne ko sach hota huye payenge

joh aaj jiska sach hona namumkin lagta hai

Trust me! yahi hai darr ki dusri ore

Toh bas humein itna hi krna hai, humein joh darr se joh humara fear se relation haina

usko badalna hai

Joh haar hai, humari zindagi mei failures atey hain, mistakes karte hain

kitne challenges atey hai zindagi mei, negative experiences hotey hai life mei

But iska matlab yeh nhi hai ki yeh sarey experiences humein todne ke liye aye hain

ya humein harane ke liye aye hain

humein girane ke liye aye hain, 'Nahi!'

Woh humein kuch bananey ke liye atey hain, bahot kuch sikhane ke liye atey hain

Maine failure se bahot kuch sikha hai, zyada sikha hai

Toh failure joh hota hai naa, koi bhi failure final nhi hota

Failure ek opportunity hai

Ek avsar hai humarey liye

khud ko aur nikharne ke liye, grow krne ke liye, evolve krne ke liye

"Failure is here to make us better version of oursleves."

Yeh hota hai failure

Maine failure ke sath aisa relation bana liya hai

Humein bhi aise dharna aise beliefs

apne failures ke barey mei, apni galtiyon ke barey mei

apne setbacks, apne challenges ke barey mei banane hongey

Tab koi bhi darr apko na dara payega, na kabhi gira payega...

Toh bas yahi relation joh apka darr ke sath hai, isko badalna hai

Ant mei bas mai apse itna hi kehna chahungi

ki aap apne andar ek aisa vishwas jaga lijiye, aisa belief

jaga lijiye ki mai chahe kitni bhi baar

mai fail kyon na ho jaun? Kitni bhi baar mai mistakes,

kitni bhi galtiyan kyon naa kar lun. Zindagi mei kitne bhi

failures kyon naa aa jayein, disappointments

kyon naa aa jayein, challenges kyon naa aa jayein

Lekin, I'll be OK.

Trust me, you'll be OK.

In sab cheezon se guzar ke jab aap bahar ayenge naa

Toh aap apne sapnon ko,

apne swagat ke liye taiyaar payenge!

Thank you!

Mütter Minute: Studying Anatomy - Duration: 1:25.

Before the digital age, medical students learned about anatomy through using illustrated texts

like the one here.

If they were lucky, they also dissected cadavers

but cadavers were hard to come by.

The author of this book, Andreas Vesalius

often collaborated with local judges in Italy

to have executions scheduled around his dissection needs.

Vesalius' 1543 book, On the Fabric of the Human Body

revolutionized how anatomy was taught to medical students.

It's assumed that an artist named Jan van Calcar

was responsible for most of the glorious pictures that are in this book.

We have a more recent example of a collaboration between an artist and an anatomist

in this 1908 picture of Erwin Faber.

Here, he's working with Dr. John Heisler

a professor of anatomy at the University of Pennsylvania

on the creation of his book, Practical Anatomy

which was published in 1912.

Erwin Faber was the son of famed medical illustrator Hermann Faber

whose reputation during the Civil War was such that he was the only artist

permitted at the bedside of Abraham Lincoln

after he was shot and killed by John Wilkes Booth.
