My dream, I believed that my biggest dream was to be a musician, to be successful,

to feed the ego, my ego to bring all the glory to me.

My name is Jaisson,

I'm 30 years old now, I was born in 1988.

My family has always been of the origin of the evangelical church.

So when I was a child, many verses were read to me.

When I was little and that was in my heart,

I always had a certain inclination toward God.

As a teenager, I leaned toward music.

I started playing the guitar.

And it was very easy to me to compose songs, to make my own songs.

And then, I was leaning to that part, we got an entrepreneur,

who in the case invested in the band.

We had a structure, had a full band,

a team that played in many places.

And I was always so grateful to God that He was giving me that opportunity

even without really knowing God.

And in the course of time,

the music was taking on a larger proportion.

I'm from the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, which is the extreme south of the country,

and we went with the band to live in São Paulo,

which is a great center of Brazilian music.

So we started to participate in some national television programs.

"I'm going to present a young crew now

that promises to shake your night in a way you will not believe.

And music started to grow, that was 2015.

Then in 2015 I met my wife, Sister Kelly.

I began to want to look for God

My wife and I decided, I need to look for God.

We need to have a more dignified life, anyway.

We really did not know much about the Gospel.

I just had that interest.

We started going to some religions in São Paulo.

Religions that I did not need to change much of what I was.

I wore earrings, piercing,

had many tattoos,

wore extravagant clothes.

And I was following a religion there,

which was in that style so,

for me it did not change anything, it was not adding.

I was a person easily fooled by a wrong religion

and my wife, she was more

'No, not like that, that's wrong'.

We had gone in other churches

that I noticed was not true.

There was always something wrong,

contrary to the Bible.

We went to a church in São Paulo and there they had an Encounter with God.

And then they invited us, "Let's go to the Encounter with God",

and I 'no, Encounter with God,

what is an Encounter with God?

Will I meet God there?'

There was a value, it was 600 reais per person.

There I saw that it was not right.

First it was Encounter with God and they charged a very high value per person?

So, for us not to go back to the bar,

my husband liked to drink and those things,

I decided to stay in the church.

But every time I went,

they talked about tithes for one hour.

They ministered, spoke a lot.

People threw themselves on the floor at the time of prayer.

They all were like... you know.

It looked like they were ...

My God.

So we saw a lot of things wrong,

but we shared it.

We were in this church for months, but I against my will.

We went there.

My husband passed all the money from our card,

because they said,

'You have to give more, you have to give more'.

He would give everything.

We're left with nothing, not a single real because he got very excited,

he thought that was true.

I just, I always said

'that's not right'.

I only went

because we had stopped drinking, going out.

So to keep from doing this,

I went to this church even though I knew it was not true.

There came a time, we lived in São Paulo for a year and she wanted to move out.

"Let's change state. Let's go somewhere else."

I remember very well that when we made that decision,

I decided to pray,

even though I did not know if God was listening

and I put it in God's hands:

"God, if it is Your will that we go there,

let things be easier for us to move there".

Because we did not have much condition to rent local, in fact,.

And it was all very easy.

My wife called here, got a house there

and we changed.

We decided to come to Santa Catarina, exactly to Florianópolis.

In the first month that we lived there,

my wife's cousins,

brother Alan and Sister Pamela,

they came to visit us, to spend holidays,

And from there they invited us,

"Let's go to a Bible Exhibition",

"We introduce to you all ..."

And then the Exposition began.

"... Brother Eli Soriano".

So the first question to Brother Eli was very exciting for me,

because the question was exactly

'How many religions are there?

Which ones are true?

How to look for it?'

"There are many churches in our time,

more than 2 thousand around the world,

Are all these from God?

No."

So that from the first moment when Brother Eli started reading in the Bible,

there's a screen there

and I read it together,

it attacked the wrong faith that I believed

and I stayed at that point like,

'Hmmm... It's not what I believe,

but it's in the Bible."

And at the first moment I already saw that everything that Brother Eli spoke was true,

as it was said in the Bible.

And that impressed me a lot,

"Micro-mini-shorts, right?

Which is up until here, right?

I remember the main point where I decided to become a member

of the Church of God

was Ephesians 4:4.

When Bro. Eli was explaining about the true church,

Ephesians 4:4 never left my mind.

There is one body, and one Spirit,

even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

One Lord, one faith, one baptism,"

He's reading the Bible.

it did not take more than that for me to realize

this is the true Church

because it is teaching that there is one body.

I did not nor will ever learn this in other place.

So that was very interesting to me

because I thought,

I've never seen anything like it before.

"The Bible calls these pastors as greedy dogs!"

Chapter 24, verse 24 of Matthew.

And the way that Brother Eli connected a verse

from Isaiah with Matthew,

it was a jigsaw puzzle being joined.

I was impressed.

And that increased my and my wife's desire to keep going.

"The question of prayer itself and my greatest qualification is ..."

"Three years, daughter or son, no."

"Time, God's word ...

does not happen in our time."

We continue to follow the Expositions,

whenever we had we went there every time

in Florianópolis.

"When the Roman Emperor ...

When truth in the Bible is against the belief of a religion,

it means this religion is not of God."

I came home very euphoric,

because I knew within me that there was a true church,

but since I did not study the Bible, I did not have that proof.

"Let's learn what's in the Bible.

What's in the Bible is Church of God."

And Brother Eli has proved this to us, that there is a true church,

which is the Church of God.

"Reading the Scripture, no man can deceive you.

Let us read!"

And that only increased the desire to seek

what brother Eli was reading,

what he was teaching

was much greater.

Since I was no longer working on music,

I worked from Uber,

driving.

And in the intervals I spent all the time,

I ended up with my 3G credits,

internet,

watching the YouTube videos of Brother Eli.

All the videos I had seen

in less than a month.

For me it's like reading

an investigative reading,

I was investigating.

And I thank God that I had this curiosity

to see that Brother Eli was reading the verses they had in the Bible and I was understanding.

And I continued,

until the time came that we started to go to the locale.

Until it came the desire of us to go to the locale in San Jose.

And then one of the topics that day was

'How important was the member to contribute',

and at the same time also

'To contribute, you have to be a member of the Church'.

And until then my wife and I were not.

And that day, we had the desire to want to contribute, to want to help,

because this is a church that never asks for anything from us.

On the contrary, it gives us, when we arrive.

And soon after we got baptized.

I am very happy that we have discovered this truth,

because today, thank God, my wife and I

try to help on Expositions

so that others have this understanding and desire

to seek the truth.

So, it is very gratifying for me.

No words can express;

so much joy to be seeking the truth,

to have known the Church of God.

And we are very happy to have found the truth,

where we had never found anywhere.

And it's the only church that's in the Bible.

So this is a fantastic thing.

We are with a blessed family, we have two daughters who were already born

in the Church of God.

And they will certainly continue

because we will do everything we can for them to know the truth.

I want to pass this on to my family members, to my next ones.

It is not an easy task, but we have to persevere

so that they will have this understanding that God has opened for us.

Because I was totally in the world,

I was totally...

I was a musician,

I was drinking,

I was totally in sin.

And it would be very difficult for me

to totally change my life dramatically.

Mainly my thought,

because of my dream, I believed that my biggest dream

was to be a musician, to be successful,

to feed the ego,

my ego to bring all glory to me,

for me to be important.

And today, thank God, I do not have that desire.

I'm even embarrassed to speak here in front of the camera,

which I did normally.

May we help as much as we can, and as much as we can't,

so that we can spread the truth more.

Because although these times are difficult,

many wrong faiths

and it is very difficult to convince people that are in the wrong faith,

let us not be discouraged

and let us move forward.

Because our preachers strive to the maximum

and beyond what they can, sometimes, spiritually and physically

to teach us.

And I see in them

and in all the workers and ministers

their effort

to make the Gospel be preached.

And we, too, should do our best, brothers.

So here is my invitation to all, for us to help more and more

like that first love,

that great enthusiasm that I hope to never lose in my heart.

Because it is not easy, sometimes we go through many things daily,

that the enemy attacks us, anyway.

But we know that hope is above anything material,

above any disease, any psychological problems.

It is above anything, it is the hope of the Gospel.

So that's what strengthens us

so that we keep walking and serving our God.

hey YouTube I'm Big Rivers around January 4th 2019 I hit 500 subscribers

and I figured this would be a good opportunity for me to introduce myself

so starting out as a little kid I grew up on a small ranch and there's a few

chicken barns full of junk and a couple of acres of cars and whatever else you

could think of and I spent a lot of time in my dad's shop just fabricating and

building whatever I could whatever I had available to me

moving on to high school I took took Four years of machine shop there and was

even the teacher's assistant for a few semesters after high school I would walk

to my gramps machine shop and when I didn't have another paying job and help

out in the shop there it's called rivers company and specialized in nuclear

hardware I couldn't think of a good channel name so that's what I stole for

for the YouTube channel my dad is a machinist as well works in a

laboratory not sure if it does too much machine in anymore but he used to tell

me it was a micro machinist and did all this work underneath the microscope

my great uncle Vic my gramps brother that I was named after he was a

machinist and I share all this information because not only do I think

it'll look it's a little bit in the blood but I spent a lot of time with

these guys growing up and picked up what I could from them when it came time for

me to decide on a career path my dad my grandpa both told me a better learn CNC

and that didn't sound too enticing to me so I decided to

be a wildland firefighter and run a fire dozer for the forest service

working in the garage and making YouTube videos is how I fulfill my desires of

machining I initially just wanted a couple machines to you know help assist

with my other hobbies in my side business and stuff like that but it's

kind of evolved a little bit more than more than just a few machines other than

machining content you might find some fabricating maybe a little bit of

woodworking some practical 3d printing and I even built a DIY CNC machine I'm a

bit of an introvert I don't really belong in front of the camera but my

Myers Briggs type score is intP and the NT P stands for new to for intuitive

thinking and perceiving and other intps you might know are Albert Einstein

Charles Darwin and Rick Moranis the guy that made the machine that shrunk his
