Kimmel Was Warned About Bashing Trump But Didn't Listen – Now Look What Just Happened!

Another celebrity ego-stroking awards show took place Sunday night and like all other

celebrity gatherings to honor each other, they centered the show around bashing President

Donald Trump.

This is expected in liberal Hollywood since stage presence always seems to present the

opportunity to cause political chaos in front of the entire country.

However, the hateful host of the evening, Jimmy Kimmel was warned about trashing Trump

but he couldn't resist, considering all his material is aimed at making fun of the

president.

That proved to be a really bad move.

For as much as these celebrities hate the president, they sure do like using his name

to get attention on themselves and increase their popularity.

Late night show host Jimmy Kimmel has made his own show all about his nemesis and his

stage time at the Oscars was no different.

He should be thanking Trump for giving him someone or something to talk about since it's

hard to know what Kimmel's nightly act would consist of otherwise.

The supposed funnyman isn't laughing now after he couldn't get creative with a new

script and refused to be respectful on stage at the Academy Awards about our president.

The latest trend among celebrities isn't one that's good for them.

No matter how many times proof that trashing President Trump doesn't end well, they just

can't seem to help themselves and suffer the consequences each time.

Kimmel is the latest to be bitten by the "Trump curse" and it couldn't have happened to

a more deserving person, especially after his huge admission he made on stage that many

people missed.

Breitbart reports:

The ratings for Sunday night's telecast of the 90th annual Academy Awards collapsed

by a whopping 16 percent, which would mean an all-time low, according to early estimates.

Variety reports that the "8 p.m.-11 p.m. portion of ABC's telecast averaged an 18.9

household rating and 32 share in Nielsen's metered market overnight ratings … That's

down about 16% from the 22.5/37 rating generated by the 2017 Oscars."

According to Deadline, the "18.9 appears to be an all-time low for the Oscars, below

the previous low ratings point for the Oscars, logged with the 2008 telecast (21.9)."

The ratings will be updated once all the numbers are in, But if past is prologue, those numbers

will not change much either way.

The writing was on the wall for this ratings catastrophe all year.

Almost every other award show suffered massive audience erosion and there was no movie nominated

for Best Picture for anyone to root for.

Seven of the nine nominees averaged just $47 million at the box office, which means only

about 5 million people saw them.

Bringing Jimmy Kimmel back for another round as host was also a big mistake.

Kimmel is one of the most divisive and polarizing figures in the country, a Trump-hating Democrat

who regularly lectures the rest of us about embracing socialized medicine and giving up

our guns.

With Kimmel as host, the Academy basically told 50 percent of the country to go watch

something else.

The entire season of the NFL was at record low ratings, the SuperBowl, as well as the

winter Olympics viewership this year all of which caused by stars abusing their public

platforms to bash Trump and deepen the divide in our country.

It's a consistent consequence handed down to these elitists by fed-up Americans who

aren't putting up with it anymore.

Celebrities get paid to act, play, sing, or entertain in some way, not push an agenda

for one side and discredit our president.

They shouldn't benefit from it when they do.

Not only did Kimmel kill his act with all the anti-Trump talk, he also slipped and made

an admission that could very well destroy what's left of his career, without realizing

what he was really saying.

His act was bland and boring which many expected, but what made it worse was a joke he made

about Vice President Mike Pence.

Ben Shapiro for the Daily Wire reports:

Noting that many of the nominated films were seen by virtually no one, Kimmel stated, "That's

not the point.

We don't make films like Call Me By Your Name for money.

We make them to upset Mike Pence."

Call Me By Your Name is a gay seduction story between a 24-year-old and a 17-year-old.

Your TV back in 2011, I interviewed dozens of Hollywood insiders — show creators, writers,

producers, and executives.

Many of them admitted outright that they purposefully stacked their shows with leftist messages;

a few even said that they openly discriminated against conservatives in their business.

But nearly all of them excused such discrimination by claiming that they were responding to the

market — they explained that their leftist content is what Americans wanted to watch,

and that their ratings were evidence that they weren't just propagandists.

Obviously, their excuse is not true since real ratings prove just the opposite.

It's not likely that with the facts and the figures that they will change course from

their message.

We've already seen that they won't and simply don't care if people stop watching,

they think it's fun to laugh among themselves that they "pissed off Mike Pence" with

their movie or comments.

The purpose of what they're saying and what they're trying to do with their divisive

message is clearly more important to them than anything.

How To Influence Someone Without Them Knowing - Duration: 6:08.

We grew up being told that being liked or getting a date, getting a promotion or a sale

is based on who is the most qualified but that's not always the case;

being nice is not always rewarded in social situations and the hardest worker

does not often get the promotion or the sale

So today, I want to give you three ways that you can influence

how people feel about you that is nothing to do with your qualifications

or your words and is 100% in your control.

So the first thing is how to game something called the Stereotype Content Model.

And it sounds fancy but it's very easy they did a study about warmth —

the idea of someone being warm that we normally think

is generated by the person being friendly or smiling or making us laugh.

But one very clever social psychologist had the idea —

what if that warmth is actually used because it's similar to physical warmth?

So he did a study that went like this — you come up as the participant

and you see me holding a clipboard a pen and a cup of coffee

and I asked you to hold that coffee while I asked a couple questions;

we're riding an escalator towards where you think the study starts

and I said, "What's your name? What's your date of birth..." all sorts of information like that and I'm filling out a sheet.

Meanwhile, half of the participants are holding iced coffee

and half of the participants are holding hot coffee

and then they all go and they read a description of various people

and they rate them in terms of who they think is friendly or warm or cold or distant

and who they would like and who they would dislike and it turns out

that the people holding the coffee that is hot are more likely

to think that the people they're reading about are friendly and warm

and someone they'd like to know even though everyone involved is reading the same descriptions.

So what does that mean for you? It means if you can create physical warmth in people

especially when you're just meeting them that they will like you more

which is crazy because there's a ton of ways to do this —

you can give someone a coffee, you can control the temperature in your office...

If you're going on a date and your date is cold, you may want to give them your jacket

not just in the name of chivalry but in the name of making sure that they don't then dislike you because they're physically cold.

If you are having a big business meeting, make sure that the temperature is comfortable

or even a little warm because that sales prospect is suddenly going to like you more.

Now the second thing that you can do to influence how somebody feels about you

has to do with manipulating what they think about right before they think about you or your ask.

And this comes from Robert Cialdini's book Pre-suasion and i think it's fascinating

because it applies to dating, friendship, business... there's so many ways this can benefit you.

The study they did was they had an attractive guy go up to women in front of a florist,

a flower shop, a bakery, and a shoe store and had him used the exact same words to ask for a girl's phone number.

Super simple — he just said his name, that they were attractive, that he had to go but, "Could I get your phone number?"

And when he was standing in front of a flower shop,

he was twice as likely to get the phone number.

Think about what that could mean for you in terms of sales or dates or friendship; it's crazy.

Why did this happen? It's because flowers primed the women

to think about romance in a way that shoe stores and bakeries don't.

So obviously, if you're gonna ask someone out and there happens to be a flower shop

nearby that's great for you but how else can this apply? Go to a restaurant with flowers?

Wear flowers? Flowers everywhere? I'm being facetious but you have to think about

what your environment is priming for this other person that might influence how they feel about you.

And I see this especially in business when people have meetings in coffee shops; they go to Starbucks.

But Starbucks doesn't code for success so if someone's pitching you something

and you're in a Starbucks, they're not doing themselves any favors.

If they go to a nice steak house or a Country Club, all of a sudden, you're thinking about

money and success and you're seeing all this stuff and you're much more likely to say yes to whatever their proposal is.

Now the third way that you can manipulate somebody into liking you more

or thinking something about you is by thinking about the image you project.

And there's an incredible study that was done in France that highlights this amazingly.

They had a guy walk up and again, ask women out

because it's just an easy binary way to see how someone feels about you.

Half the time, he had a gym bag and half the time, he had a guitar case and

he was three times more likely to get the phone number when he had the guitar case.

That's crazy. Three hundred percent increase in getting dates or business is wild

and it's just by what you project — specifically what you're wearing and what's in your hands.

So how does this impact your life? Again, I guess you could just walk around with

a guitar case but I wouldn't recommend it unless you play guitar.

But let's say that you're going into a business meeting; it could be for a pitch or

it could just be in your office but you want your bosses to respect you and listen to you.

Don't go in with a binder that looks like a sixth-grader's English binder.

Get a nice black pen, get a nice leather binder, and make yourself put together;

suddenly, you look like somebody whose ideas should be taken seriously.

I saw this myself at a conference with my buddy who did this brilliantly.

Everybody was wearing jeans and t-shirts or sweatpants because it's just a conference

where you're allegedly there to learn from speakers but he was there to hire

and he rocked up in a beautiful tailored suit and it doesn't matter if this was a

name-brand suit or a cheap suit — I have no idea — but he stood out in the crowd.

And immediately, if he's talking to you about working for his business,

you assume his business is successful because of how good he looks.

So that's three ways that you can manipulate how people feel about you that

has nothing to do with your qualifications your resume or even the words that you say.

Mueller Subpoenas Documents On Trump & Friends, And Trump Is Freaking Out - Duration: 5:12.

This past weekend the news site Axios obtained a subpoena from Robert Mueller the special

prosecutors grand jury, that explains to the witness who was being subpoenaed the kind

of documents that they want information on, the documents that they want turned over.

And, like so many other things that have happened with this investigation, this is really, really

bad news for Donald Trump.

According to the subpoena, Robert Mueller is specifically looking for documents relating

to the Donald Trump campaign, and Donald Trump himself, as well as a handful of former and

current advisors to both the campaign, and the Donald Trump administration.

Now, before we go through the list of names, here is what that means.

Not only are they looking at what the campaign did, as we originally had assumed, or as they

had originally been chosen to do, they're also looking at what has happened with the

president and his advisors, and his confidants, since he became president of the United States.

So this investigation is going a lot deeper than anybody ever thought it would, and it

also shows that we really don't know the full extent of how deep this investigation is going

to go.

Here's the list of names that this subpoena list, that Robert Mueller wants documents

on.

Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, Michael Cohen, who's Donald Trump's personal lawyer, you

know, the one who paid off Stormy Daniels I believe.

Rick Gates, Hope Hicks, Corey Lewandowski, Paul Manafort, Carter Page, Keith Schiller,

and Roger Stone.

Now, after telling you those names, here's what's interesting about that, is people like

Papadopoulos, you know, the guy who already pleaded guilty, Gates.

These guys have all had contact with all of these people that are listed in this new subpoena,

and Gates is one of them listed in this new one, as somebody they want documents on, perhaps

to corroborate his stories.

But it gives us a very clear indication that these people are working with the special

prosecutor's office, that they have named names.

That they have said who was where, and when, and why.

And that is why they're seeking this additional information, because if they can corroborate

what people like Gates, and Manafort, or Papadopoulos have told them, then that proves they can

be trustworthy, and they can also take the rest of their testimonies, or whatever information

they've handed over to Mueller, and use that to go even deeper in this investigation.

Now, it all seems a little complicated to follow, but it really isn't.

The bottom line is this, this investigation is getting closer and closer to Donald Trump.

Well hell, we can't even say closer and closer at this point, this investigation is directly

circling Donald Trump, and he is 100% a target of Robert Mueller.

Hope Hicks, same thing, woman who just resigned after testifying, and now suddenly she's gone,

and she allegedly kept a diary of everything that happened, as did Sean Spicer.

I think that Robert Mueller probably wants to get his hands on that diary, and I think

Hope Hicks, depending on her feelings towards the Trump administration, after he allegedly

berated her for her testimony, she might be willing to hand it over, to save her own butt

really, or to maybe just get back at some people who were a little bit rude to her on

her way out, like Donald Trump himself.

Trump can't hide any more, and this is part of the reason why he's lashing out so harshly,

and hysterically, on Twitter.

On Monday morning, the guy gets on Twitter, and talks about the fact that Obama did nothing,

he wanted the Russians to interfere, and he wanted collusion to help Hillary Clinton win

the election.

And that's why he didn't do anything about Russian election meddling.

And yet at the same time, Donald Trump, who we now have 100% evidence that yeah, they

did, Donald Trump has chosen to do nothing about it.

But this is a guy who's immune to irony.

He also says that we should investigate Barack Obama and Crooked Hillary, as he calls her.

But none of that's going to happen, we know what happened during those times, Obama dropped

the ball on it when he should've done something, should've come public with it, but Mitch McConnell

wouldn't do it, so Obama being the nice guy that he is didn't want to make waves.

That was a failure of Obama.

But as far as criminal activity, pretty much sure that that's just limited to the Trump

campaign, and the Trump administration.

But regardless, all of that is going to come out when this investigation finishes, and

it is incredibly doubtful that Donald Trump is going to come out of this without at least

one indictment against him.

doing a vlog about the O house dining hall

Ian: O house dining hall is literally like

10 feet from the O House residence hall which is where I live and it's really

convenient because every morning you can just go out and eat breakfast and every

night when you come back in you got dinner right there

Sam: There are so many

options at O house that we're just gonna get right to it and get some grub so let's go!

Ian: All right so we got our food!

Allie: Yaaah! Now we can eat! I'm so excited! From the lovely hibachi station I

got some fried rice always nutritious I don't get vegetables because I'm not

that healthy and I got some chicken and garlic. It's beautiful, wonderful, amazing and it tastes awesome.

Sam: Oooooh! Okay, my turn I got... I got some quinoa with like beans and corn it's like a taco

quinoa thing ooh and then broccoli you know gotta stay healthy you know while in

college you gotta you make sure you're healthy and all that stuff

stuff on a plate on my plate is vegan so all of you guys that have dietary

know 24/7 or until it closes obviously but always serving different things by the way so

breakfast, lunch, and dinner to always switch out food so you're always getting

a diverse menu at O house.

Allie: Chicken nuggets. They got fries. They got pasta. Everything you could ever want from a dining hall.

Ian: I dont know if you remember from the Bolton review but I said I eat an omelet every morning I do

it because they have an egg bar here made to order and at noon that thing turns

to do a pasta bar. Allie, what's your favorite thing about O house my favorite

Allie: My favorite thing about O house is probably the convenient locations so if you ever need

to get a snack or a meal in between class it's perfect because it's close to

everything and it's just a really easy dining hall.

What is your favorite thing?

Ian: Um, I really like the atmosphere it gets busy from time to time but that's

okay and it's like when you're in here and no one's here they have a great

playlist playing over the radio and its really great. They have it like themes everyday

like classic rock or like indie hits it's really good.

Sam: My favorite thing about O house is how

many food options they have. Every day if I'm feeling one thing

O house got it every day there's so many things and they're switching it out

every single day so every day I'm getting something new for breakfast

lunch, dinner, and dessert, and every single other meal in between it's

amazing so that's what I love about O house.

We went to so many blocos

I went to Banda de Ipanema,

It was the same thing as always

No one of our group was assaulted.

But we saw a lot of, people talking about it all the time.

Zona Sul was the focus of the violence

specially in Ipanema

People tagged Ipanema and did a mess. There was "arrastão" in Ipanema.

Arrastão in the middle of the night. People were caught by surprise,

by fifteen thiefs.

I always use a canopy at carnival or any other big party!

Never use bags or something similar.

What you put in your pocket, you'll lose it!

People were using so many canopies and money belt!

People was very attentive!

So many beautiful canopy with glitter, I think it's from Melissa.

Melissa, we want canopies!! Send it to us the colorful and bombastic ones!!!!

You're packing up your things in your canopy at the street,

We were at the street for a long time,

We needed to wake up at 7 A.M to go!

Who goes to bloco at 8 A.M?

We prepare ourselves all entire year, choosing our fitness clothes,

to have a moment at the bloco, and it didn't happened this time!!

U failed.

Not even Gerson, who goes to bloco at 8 A.M, did it!

I've been crazy now, I thought the screen of my phone was broken,

but it was a yarn of a wig!

We went to all these blocos,

we dressed costumes all these days!!!

So, let's explain what's our group?

We love so much carnival,

Having fun or working at carnival, for us it's something serious!

We wait all the entire year for the carnival,

we program our lives to live carnival at the most perfect way!

Carnival is like people being us all entire year!!

Because they inside out everything at this party!

All that we do all entire year!

So, we went unnoticed

Carnival is very scandalous!

But we shock people too. I shock a lot!!

And we're together and with no limits!

All of our costumes are not traditional!

We don't dress as

bunny,

doctor or nurse,

Do they buy their costumes in sex shops?

Sometimes I think that's sex shop costumes!

I learned with Gerson too!

It was amazing!

I was the only one who dressed that way while all the group was ashamed for me!

I was crazy, with the most horrible costumes of the universe,

I always was the shame of the moment!

Then, little by little,

Gerson was my reference about no shame at all!

Tottally How Not Go to Carnival! And now we're the same! Or worse!

Gerson lived so many carnival years without use a tulle skirt!

It was what I most saw at this carnival!

It's true! I've use it once!

This year I was with the flow,

I became blond,

Everybody became blond!!

It was horrible find you at the bloco!!

I looked for a blond one, but everybody was blond!! A blond sea!!

Or beard, mustache,

It's not ugly for me, ok?

The blocos we went, there was a lot of very nice costumes!

But those we didn't went and we saw that costumes,

It's much nicer put glitter in your face and use a tactel bermuda

than put anything in the tactel and a sailor man hat!

So, you who use it, ur not with costumes,

I used a garden in my hair!

I got the flower arrangement from my mother's table and went to bloco!

I was dressed as Vai Malandra and used a swimsuit, not a short.

It was the glitter mask, I mixed so many different

It seems obvious that hot liquid, placed in an open container, will cool.

That a gas, under pressure, tends to escape.

Or even that time is a straight line towards the future.

All of these spontaneous phenomena

reveal an increase in disorder through time,

which, in physics, is called increase in entropy.

However, an experiment conducted by researchers at the Federal University of ABC

seems to have found an exception to this rule without violating the laws of physics.

REVERSING THE ARROW OF TIME

When you open a bottle of perfume, the perfume spreads throughout the room.

When a vase falls on the floor and shatters, it remains shattered.

And we don't see them moving spontaneously back.

So, we use the idea of what happens spontaneously to determine the direction of time.

But, in the smallest systems, in the quantum regime,

there are no laws that stipulate that these phenomena can't be reversed.

Several theoretical proposals were put forth

on how to reverse what we call the thermodynamic arrow of time

using quantum effects —the typical effects of quantum mechanics.

Quantum mechanics is a branch of physics that studies the behaviour of microscopic systems,

in which strange and different things happen.

For example, an electron can be in two different places at the same time,

in a state of superposition.

In addition, quantum systems may show correlations:

when two quantum particles are entangled,

you cannot define the state of one particle without accessing the other.

We intended, then, to test the limits of thermodynamics

in these small quantum systems.

To test these limits,

the researchers proposed an experiment involving the exchange of heat between

atoms of carbon and hydrogen, in a molecule of chloroform.

By manipulating the elemental particles' magnetic properties,

called spin,

it is possible to establish a quantum correlation between the atoms,

resulting in a curious exchange of energy.

The chloroform molecules

are diluted in the solvent and placed inside this extremely thin test tube.

The test tube is then introduced into the spectrometer behind me.

In this spectrometer

we have a vacuum section,

a section containing liquid nitrogen,

another vacuum section, and a fourth section containing liquid helium,

in which the superconducting magnet is immersed, generating a strong magnetic field,

which is used to orient our samples' spin.

When we initiate the experiment with the hydrogen and carbon atoms, in a decorrelated state,

the flow of heat occurs in the traditional manner:

from the hot atom to the cold one,

respecting all known laws of thermodynamics.

When we initiate the experiment with hydrogen and carbon atoms, in a special correlated state,

we observe the opposite:

heat flows from the cold atom to the hot atom,

consuming the initial correlation.

What happens, in this case, is the transformation of information into energy.

So, we can say that when heat flows from the cold atom to the hot atom,

the thermodynamic arrow of time is reversed.

Development in this area, which has been called Quantum Thermodynamics,

is expanding the validity of the laws of thermodynamics into the domains of microscopic systems,

in which energy fluctuations are important and play a relevant role.

We are creating a new theory of thermodynamics,

one which may be applied to microscopic quantum systems.

In addition to expanding the domains of classic thermodynamics,

we expect the results to contribute to the development of a new technological revolution:

quantum computing,

based on computer processors which utilize these strange properties

to overcome the limits of classic computational power.

Understanding the relativity of the arrow of time

and the manipulation of particle spins

help our comprehension of miniaturization and thermal control of these technologies,

which may contribute directly to other areas such as weather forecast,

experimental modelling and artificial intelligence.
