Schalke has confirmed that their German midfielder Max Meyer has turned down a new offer to extend

his stay at the club.

According to recent reports, the 22-year-old midfielder has refused to pen a new deal with

the Bundesliga club with his current contract set to run out at the end of the season.

Max Meyer is set to make a summer switch away from Gelsenkirchen when he becomes a free

agent in June.

The German has mostly been deployed as a holding midfielder this season under Domenico Tedesco.

Some sources have recently claimed that Schalke has offered him a £5m-a-year contract to

make him the team's highest earner.

However, the club's sporting executive Christian Heidel has revealed that the offer has been

turned down.

Meyer has featured in 25 matches for Schalke this season and scored once while providing

one assist in all competitions.

The Reds are believed to have a long-term interest on the player, who can also operate

in the number 10 position, and the stage is now set for them to make a move for the German

enforcer next summer.

The addition of someone of the calibre of Max Meyer will undoubtedly bolster Klopp's

midfield and could help plug the hole left by the departure of Phillipe Coutinho in January.

Only time will tell whether Meyer can help Liverpool bridge the gap between themselves

and the Manchester clubs in the coming years.

It remains to be seen what lies ahead in the future of the German international and whether

he ends up making a move to Anfield in the near future.

Hey guys !

On the 21th of April 2014, the ''Would you react?'' project was born,

we didn't expect that 3 years later,

we'll be about 500 000 subscribers and more than 50 million view.

So doesn't matter what will happen in the future, the project will continue exiting and it will even evolve further !

For this project, I've never really asked for help, because I believe that if we want to improve things,

we should set the right example ourselves without big expectations

and by using all our energy !

Personally, e.g., currently the project is :

More than 1000 hours of work and more than 15000 euros of expenses

To cater everyone with food and beverages during the 50 shootings, 3000 euros ;

To print the books for the homeless people, 300 euros ;

All the fines, has cost more than 1000 euros ;

Actually, there are hundreds of expenses often unexpected

I will be very honest with you, it is sometimes hard for me to manage everything :

Project management, the 50 shootings, the 200 days of videos editing and the financial part.

So even though we are trying hard to uphold great values, there is nothing else to do,

money is still the sinews of war.

I am not used to ask help because I always like to manage my things by myself

and uses Blockchain technology.

Blockchain is a decentralized network.

In Bitcoin mining,

miners solves blocks and adds transactions on it.

It is a very simple definition.

Block reward is 12.5 BTC

These are the transactions that are added.

Miners are connected with each other.

A new block is mined every 10 minutes.

With time, new miners are involved in the system,

that makes harder to solve a block for the miner.

All of them depends on SHA-256 algorithm.

If you want to mine Bitcoins, your computer's CPU probably will not be enough.

You will need to buy an ASIC.

However, these are very expensive devices,

and it uses too much electricity.

Bitcoin is designed to have a maximum supply of 21 million

Almost 17 million of Bitcoin is on circulation.

Mining is very costly and difficult.

Honestly, I really admired his intelligence, his humility, and his compassion.

So I got in my car. I'm making my way to his house. I knock on the door and...the surprise begins.

GABRIEL!!

Hey guys, it's Gabriel. Welcome back to my channel.

So as you guys saw in the last episode, it was the night of Josephine and Wayne's wedding.

I was on my way to the final surprise of my visit in America.

It was for one of my best friends. His name is Anthony; who's also half Black half Korean, just like me.

I wanted it to go well because none of the surprises went as planned. Not a single one.

With Noah's surprise, I was expecting him to be excited

and run up to his room and find me in there and be like, "Wow".

But he was so incredibly shy. My sister DID warn me, she told me that that was going to happen

but I was like, "Kids love me, it's okay". Yeah, that didn't work. Alex's surprise was going to

be me knocking on her door. I was gonna have my phone

placed at the bottom of the door playing the Buffy theme. I was just gonna run away

and then just like secretly film her. The Buffy theme was supposed to help her realize, "Okay

there's no one that would do something like this except for Gabriel 'cause Gabriel loves Buffy that much" so

that was the plan for her, BUT when we arrived at her place, as you guys saw,

she was standing outside...so that ruined that.

With Brittni, we both love Will & Grace so I was going to do something really similar

and have the Will & Grace theme playing.

That didn't work out either because I didn't realize how quiet her place was.

And on top of that, the way the hallway was designed,

I wouldn't have been able to set things up the way that I would've wanted so...that was a bust.

And for Anthony's surprise, his was the only one that actually came the closest to.

So I was on my way to his house and

I remember getting kind of emotional. I wasn't full-on crying or anything,

but I was definitely welling up some tears.

And I think it was because of like the culmination of what these surprises have meant to me.

These are people that really matter a lot in my life and they're always there for me, no matter what.

I eventually get to the house. I'm SUPER excited. I'm 26 years old, but I'm definitely about to have a sleepover.

So I've got all of my pillows and all of my bags and stuff and I knocked on the door and...

GABRIEL!!

I just thought that was so cute and funny

'cause she was really trying to like give me my space to work my magic on this surprise.

I'm getting ready to surprise Anthony.

But everything is taking forever to work. Ugh!

I'm trying to work Netflix right now, but it's not working.

Something's wrong with their Wi-Fi I think.

So here's what I was trying to do.

There's a scene from The Vampire Diaries that stuck out to me a lot.

For those of you that don't watch, there's a character in the show. Her name was Bonny.

It's a supernatural show, so I'm about to sound really crazy talking about this, but

she and this vampire ended up in this other dimension that took place in the past.

They wound up in this random year...1994 I think.

Eventually, the vampire that she was with got sent back to the regular timeline.

She was in these episodes, but completely alone for a really really long time.

She used her magic and she figured out a way to come back.

When she did come back, it was like this big thing and she just kind of show up out of nowhere.

The vampire that was originally stuck with her walks into the kitchen and...

there she was, standing there shocked.

They were both equally shocked and surprised that she finally made it back.

And she's like basically crying and laughing at the same time because she's just so amazed that

this is real, this is really happening and they just embrace each other and hug.

And it's just like such a happy moment and the music was just so beautiful.

And so I remembered this scene. And during my first year in Korea,

I remember posting it to Instagram, and I was like,

"This is legit going to be me when come home and surprise my friends".

I honestly thought at the time, whenever I did go home, that would be when my journey in Korea would be over.

I never really saw myself coming home beforehand for a visit.

But knowing that I was going to sign for a third year and this would be my last contract,

I definitely needed to go home. So that clip just like kept playing over and over in my mind.

And so I thought that was the perfect way to surprise Anthony.

So I'm on Netflix, trying to load up this episode of The Vampire Diaries. It would just keep glitching

and I'd have to restart the app try to load it again, start all over and I was like, "Ugh!

He is going to get here and this video is not going to load".

At this point, I will let the surprise unfold and you guys can now see what actually happened.

I honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. I mean here I was, home for the first time in two years

this is what I wanted so desperately; to see my friends and my family again

and I got that. But my vacation is not over yet, so things will continue in the next episode.

Philip Payton Jr.: The Crusading Capitalist Who Outwitted New York's Racist Landlords - Duration: 5:20.

Philip Payton Jr. was a turn of the century real estate agent

famous for outwitting his adversaries,

and posting his red initials to every building under his control.

He enabled generations of black New Yorkers to inhabit prime areas of Manhattan,

with modern homes, nearby parks, and free from racial violence.

Payton was a crusading capitalist,

who believed that the free-market was the key to combating racial segregation.

His approach was "to make the color line costly."

In 1900, the year he entered the real estate business,

blacks were relegated to a handful of overcrowded neighborhoods,

with substandard housing, and plagued by racial violence.

"The fight that I am making has got to be made sooner or later," Payton wrote,

"and I see no better time than now."

One of his first opportunities came in 1905 on Manhattan's Upper West Side,

when according to one account two property owners got into a dispute on an all-white block.

One of them retaliated by inviting blacks to move in to her two buildings.

Whites fled, resulting in vacant apartments on the block.

Payton saw this as a business opportunity to buy buildings at a discount

and sway more property owners to accept blacks as tenants:

Why would landlords "keep their apartments empty thereby losing much money in rent,"

he later wrote, "when there is an applicant for it,

and no other objection can be raised to him

other than that he has a black face?"

So he and a team of investors

started leasing and buying up properties on West 99th street at a discount,

one after another.

Eventually, every building on the block was renting to blacks.

"The very prejudice which has heretofore worked against us

can be turned and used to our profit," Payton wrote.

Located in a prime area of Manhattan that bordered Central Park,

West 99th and 98th Streets became home to a black community that thrived until the mid-1950s,

when the government bulldozed these two blocks to make way for a slum clearance project.

A hundred and thirteen years after Payton first de-segregated West 99th Street,

the former residents of this community still hold annual reunions,

honoring the neighborhood where they were born and raised.

Payton's use of market forces to combat segregation

had an even bigger impact a couple miles uptown.

Known as the father of Harlem, more than any other figure, he was responsible for the formation

of what would become the cultural capital of Black America.

It all started on West 135th Street, when, according to one account,

another dispute between two building owners made it possible for blacks to start moving in.

But in this case, bigoted white real estate interests weren't going to give in without a fight.

Enter the Hudson Realty Company,

with a board of directors that at one time included

the co-founder of Bloomingdales department store,

a former U.S. Ambassador, and his older brother.

The company wanted to restore racial purity on the block,

and in 1904 it purchased four all-black buildings, ordering everyone living there to get out.

So Payton and his investors hit back.

They got title to two buildings a few doors down

and this time told the white people living there to move out.

Then they invited the dispossessed black tenants from up the block to take their place.

Hudson Realty offered to buy Payton out, but he refused,

so the company gave up and pulled out altogether.

Within a few years, black tenants inhabited almost every building on West 135th.

"Race prejudice is a luxury," Payton wrote,

"and like all luxuries can be made very expensive in New York City."

But as Harlem's black community grew,

white property owners tried to contain it by forming real estate associations

governed by racial covenants that restricted landlords from selling or renting to blacks.

Again Payton struck back,

this time by reminding landlords that participating in racial covenants

meant foregoing potential income,

because blacks typically paid more in rent.

As he wrote in a 1908 ad,

"If that Colored Tenement of yours is not paying you better than anything else you own,

SOMETHING IS WRONG."

With landlords choosing profit over prejudice, over time, the racial covenants unraveled.

In 1912, building owner Reginald Schenck told the New York Times

that he rented his brownstone on 130th Street to blacks

because "I can get more from negroes than from white tenants."

The same year, Anna Lieb sold her building on 136th

to a black family in violation of the racial covenant

on the grounds that she had "a right to sell to any person she saw fit."

In 1913, a widowed landlord on 137th was sued by her next door neighbor

for welcoming blacks to her building.

Before the judge could issue a injunction, the neighbor dropped the case and joined her.

A hundred years since Payton's death, there are no monuments honoring him,

or even a plaque on his former home.

Yet black Harlem might not exist if it weren't this visionary realtor

who saw that in a free market bigots can be forced to pay a price for their prejudice

by making the color line costly.

How many years of Bronzer Do I Own? | CORRIE SIDE - Duration: 4:09.

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! Today we are gonna be talking

"How many contours do I have in my collection?" Let's jump right in and start

with my first contour! The first product in my collection is from Fenty Beauty.

It is the Matte Skin Stix in Amber. It's an olivey gray pink and I

really love it! It blends out easily. I consider this my HG contour product in

my collection. This stick contains 0.25oz of product. The next product in my

collection is from MakeUp Forever. This is their eyeshadow single in M 548

pink gray. It has been discontinued but if you're looking for a dupe the m549

Dark Taupe in their new Artist Color Eyeshadow Or Tease from Urban Decay are

supposed to be really great dupes. You can see it is a little bit pinker and a little bit

lighter in tone than the Fenty Matchstix. This pan contains 0.08oz (not grams)

of product. I have this adorable Hoola by Benefit bronzer mini.

This contains 0.14oz (not grams) of product and this one's definitely the warmest color.

Definitely more of a bronzer than a contouring color on my skin, anyway. And

lastly I have the It cosmetics You! Sculpted Universal Contouring Palette

for face and body. It contains 1, 2, 3, 4 contour colors: soft, light,

medium, and deep. These four pans each contain a 0.09oz of product and the

other two shades in this palette are highlighter shades which I have added up

in my "How many highlighters do I own?" video which you can check out up here.

This is all the products in my bronzer collection now. I want you to pause the

video and guess how long will all of these products last me in years....

All right! Assuming I wear a contour 5 days a week and I

wear one product at a time, these contour colors will last me 3.63 years of

wear time! Which is pretty crazy considering it's a fairly modest

collection... but they Fenty Matchstix will last me approximately a year all by

itself! These have a ton of product inside of them. I'm really happy with all

of my contour products. I think it's one of the favorite aspects of my collection,

although the two that I wear daily would be my MakeUp Forever and the Fenty

Beauty and these are just ones that I keep around to be more experimental or

when I want to try something a little bit crazy. Anyway, of course I would like

to credit the people over at /r/MakeupRehab on Reddit. They are where I got the original

idea for this calculator. I'll link a spreadsheet down below so you can add up

your contour collection, but I would highly suggest you check out /r/makeupRehab

as well if you want to not just control your makeup spending habits but

Pocket Letters: Easy Stamped Pocket Letter Process Video Part 2 - Duration: 11:31.

Hello Hello! It's me, Janette! Creator and owner of pocket letters and author of

Janette Lane Blog! How are you? Hope you've been well! In today's video I

am showing you part two of my last video which I will have linked below but

basically what I did was just share a few ways that you can incorporate

stamping into your pocket mail layouts and so I am doing a mini pocket letter

which is just a three pocket layout instead of the traditional

original nine pockets and I apologize for the terrible lighting here I didn't

realize that it had got so bright so I apologize for that it's gonna get fixed

in just a second so anyway if you want to head back to the previous video and

you can check out how I did the backgrounds or just these particular

cards that designs for these cards with some stamps some simple stamping and

some watercolor watercolor brush and now I'm just gonna add some little finishing

touches to my layout and also I have a giveaway for my subscribers I'm so

excited about it so yeah let's jump into the video I like to add a little bit of

texture to my layouts and so as you can see earlier I tied a ribbon around one

of my cards just a little mini satin ribbon and it just added a nice little

feminine touch and for this one I wanted to use my sparkly tool which I am loving

this stuff but the thing about the sparkly tool it's cannot translucent

it's see-through so I could definitely have used it you know just like as an

overlay over the whole card but I wanted to kind of play up the little dress that

my little fashion model image has here and so what I'm gonna do is again you

can see here that I'm kind of toying with the idea of just putting it over

the whole card which would look really cool because it has you know the little

sparkle little sparkly sequins on the tool but what I'm gonna end up doing is

just bunching it together and I'm gonna staple it using my tiny attacher on top

of the dress and it's gonna look kind of like a give it give the dress some

dimension some depth some texture so that it looks like a just like a cool

little sparkly fashion i guess and i promise i pinkie promise

that the lighting is gonna get better soon I apologize for that I should

remind myself to check it like ever so often to look at the camera and make

sure that the Lighting's all right but I didn't do that I'm a bad youtuber sorry

so I have attached the tool to my dress that is stapled it and I just trimmed

the excess just around so it wouldn't it wouldn't block or be bunching inside of

the pockets cuz I'm gonna insert this all in a pocket I think I'm missing a

clip somewhere here because suddenly I have some gems on my card and there

really was no rhyme or reason behind it but what I wanted to do what I ended up

doing is I'm so sorry I'm like really a terrible youtuber right now now my

intention was to cover the tiny attacher staple with some gemstones and it ended

up not looking right and I'm going to end up covering it yeah the Lighting's

fixed sorry so I wanted to end up covering my staple with a little

sentiment so what I'm gonna do is grab this sentiment just as beautiful and I'm

going to stamp it on a piece of cardstock and then I'm going to cut that

out and put that on top right across the dress so that you can so I can cover up

the little tiny attacher staple in my last video some of you mentioned that

you loved the stamp set that I was using I'm so happy that you liked it so it's

from Debbie Moore and I have it linked below in the video I'll have it also in

this video but that's the stamp set that I'm going to be working with so the

beautiful sentiment is also from that Debbie Moore stamp set and as always I

try to link up every single product that I use or find something similar for you

guys cuz I know sometimes you see something you're like I need to have

that I want that and so just making it easier for you guys and plus I love it

be gluing down my gemstones with some glossy accents by Ranger and I love this

stuff oh my gosh my little bottle it's not a little about actually it's kind of

a big glossy accents modelled so I'm running out cuz I use it so much but

it's a great adhesive but it's also a great way to add some goulash enos some

glossy accents to your crafts and so what I'm doing is I'm putting squeezing

a little bit of this on top of every lip like every lip image stamped image and

it's gonna make it look like glossy lips when it's all dry and done and when

you're working with this stuff make sure to let it air dry it takes about 20-30

minutes to set properly and then when you're done it just leaves a nice glossy

finish it's a little bit dimensional so it's not completely smooth it doesn't

flatten out you know what I mean it has some dimension to it some body and I

really love it because just again it just adds a little glossiness some

glossy accents appropriate new appropriately-named

glossy accents to your all your paper craft stuff projects that you're working

on it's great for mixing yeah and I just love how for the lips it

just makes it look like that a little lip gloss a little little shine they're

such a great such a great medium I absolutely love this stuff and I am

gonna have to buy another bottle because I'm running out

so once the glossy accents dries it's gonna be like just like a hard kind of

shiny finish and you want to make sure to not touch it prematurely so make sure

at least 20 to 25 minutes have elapsed before you end up putting your finger in

it just to check the dryness of it and also do not heat set this because it

does bubble up if you use a heat tool or a heat gun so just let it air dry

just be patient get it that like put it somewhere safe where you're not gonna

accidentally smudge it or someone is you know not gonna walk by and stick their

fingers in it because that's happened to me and also I've done that to other

people my co-workers in the past I still feel so bad about that

yeah you just you'll ruin it if you stick your finger in it too soon so be

careful just let it air dry so I put my cards my three cards into my cut up

insert which is a nine pocket trading card insert but I cut it into thirds

because again this is just a three pocket layout and now I'm gonna be

gluing some no I'm not gluing yet just kidding it can be including a washi tape

sample in my letter and I'm gonna be using these plastic floss bobbins and

these are usually for embroidery thread so that you can have some your you know

embroidery floss on on these little bobbins but they're great for washi

samples instead I'm including some just wrapping a few inches of washi tape on

this and bobbin and then I'm putting it in the pocket and also including some

gonna be including some paper clips cute paper clips and I wanted to glue this

love sparkly love sentiment on the outside and also a bow and I found like

the best way to glue things on the outside of your plastic pocket pages is

to use a lot of people use like glue hot glue a lot of people use glue so

they use hot glue but I really like red liner tape it's just like it's super

strong adhesive and I totally recommend that every crafter have have some like

in different widths and so I'm using this really thin I don't know the exact

deb measurement on the width of this red liner tape but it's tiny and so it's

perfect to put just a few pieces of it behind my love sentiment and then i'm

just gonna stick that on the front of my pocket page and i'm also gonna be adding

a little bow on the front also using the red liner tape and you can add thread or

no sorry no not thread sorry ribbon like ribbon if you want to just a drape a

ribbon across your pocket then red liner tape is a great way to do that you can

also use a foam tape 3d foam tape for that but I really love I just love this

red liner tape stuff it's great here I wanted to add this pattern mini

clothespin and also a tassel and maybe some ribbon a little ribbon swatch sheer

ribbon swatch that I had and also I'm gonna be fiddling with the washi tape

sample and you know it's it's just funny as you see me you can kind of see my

thought process as I'm moving things around like doing like this no I don't

like this or maybe I should try this and it's just kind of I guess the crafting

of mindset right you try different things you move it around you you bring

it back you're like maybe if I do this does it look right I don't know it's all

just part of the fun of crafting and I love that like you know like you can

almost see people's thoughts as you're watching youtube videos and they're you

know moving things around it's just it's just funny you can see what they're

thinking so that's what I'm doing here just fiddling with things trying to get

everything right kind of the way did I like it so that's that's what I'm doing

Days before Allyson Eischens was set to marry the love of her life, there was a burning

question left unanswered — who would walk her down the aisle in lieu of her late father?

Little did she know, her fiancé, Garrett Eischens, already had the perfect man for

the role: Chris Roose, her father's best friend.

The footage shows Allyson waiting in a hotel room with her eyes closed, when a man's

voice is heard in the background: "Hey, I heard somebody needs to be given away!"

Allyson gasps when she recognizes that it's Roose, who embraces his best friend's daughter

before assuring her that he wouldn't miss the wedding for the world.

Roose and Allyson's father, Jerry Berdan, met in Greenfield, Minnesota, when Allyson

was a child.

"We moved in, and we became neighbors, and then we became more than neighbors," Roose

remembers.

"We watched each other's children as they were growing up.

He was just a great man, a great father."

Since Berdan's passing 12 years ago, Roose, Allyson, and her sisters have all remained

close.

Even so, this sweet surprise almost didn't happen.

Roose originally told Allyson that he wouldn't be able to make the wedding because his wife

was bedridden after she fractured an ankle.

He was also low on money and afraid of flying (a bad flight to Newfoundland had spoiled

that long ago), so making the trip to Minnesota from his home in Tampa, Florida, didn't

seem like the best plan for the 57-year-old.

But Garrett knew he had to try to convince Roose otherwise.

After sending a message to the family saying he couldn't come, Roose received a text

from Garrett that would change his mind.

It explained that the only person Allyson wanted to walk her down the aisle was him.

"That's when my wife looks at me and says, 'Dude, you're going,'" Roose tells

PEOPLE.

"It was something that I decided that I wanted to do as soon as their RSVP came in,"

Garrett tells PEOPLE.

"It was like, 'Nah, this isn't happening, she isn't walking down the aisle by herself.'"

Garrett bought the plane ticket and covered Roose's expenses.

The two planned Roose's arrival while undercover, only speaking over the phone while Garrett

was at work.

The secret was kept all the way until Roose's reveal in the hotel room.

But what about facing his fears on the flight?

Well, Roose believed he had someone special watching his back.

"I figured Jerry's my co-pilot," he says.

"So he was going to be there for me, too."

Schalke has confirmed that their German midfielder Max Meyer has turned down a new offer to extend

his stay at the club.

According to recent reports, the 22-year-old midfielder has refused to pen a new deal with

the Bundesliga club with his current contract set to run out at the end of the season.

Max Meyer is set to make a summer switch away from Gelsenkirchen when he becomes a free

agent in June.

The German has mostly been deployed as a holding midfielder this season under Domenico Tedesco.

Some sources have recently claimed that Schalke has offered him a £5m-a-year contract to

make him the team's highest earner.

However, the club's sporting executive Christian Heidel has revealed that the offer has been

turned down.

Meyer has featured in 25 matches for Schalke this season and scored once while providing

one assist in all competitions.

The Reds are believed to have a long-term interest on the player, who can also operate

in the number 10 position, and the stage is now set for them to make a move for the German

enforcer next summer.

The addition of someone of the calibre of Max Meyer will undoubtedly bolster Klopp's

midfield and could help plug the hole left by the departure of Phillipe Coutinho in January.

Only time will tell whether Meyer can help Liverpool bridge the gap between themselves

and the Manchester clubs in the coming years.

It remains to be seen what lies ahead in the future of the German international and whether

he ends up making a move to Anfield in the near future.

On the 21th of April 2014, the ''Would you react?'' project was born,

we didn't expect that 3 years later,

we'll be about 500 000 subscribers and more than 50 million view.

So doesn't matter what will happen in the future, the project will continue exiting and it will even evolve further !

For this project, I've never really asked for help, because I believe that if we want to improve things,

we should set the right example ourselves without big expectations

and by using all our energy !

Personally, e.g., currently the project is :

More than 1000 hours of work and more than 15000 euros of expenses

To cater everyone with food and beverages during the 50 shootings, 3000 euros ;

To print the books for the homeless people, 300 euros ;

All the fines, has cost more than 1000 euros ;

I will be very honest with you, it is sometimes hard for me to manage everything :

Project management, the 50 shootings, the 200 days of videos editing and the financial part.

So even though we are trying hard to uphold great values, there is nothing else to do,

money is still the sinews of war.

I am not used to ask help because I always like to manage my things by myself

but here, I am asking it to you guys because the project does really need to evolve.
