Guys, I'm gonna be reviewing some sauces today. I got a package in the mail that I
haven't even opened yet, and I'm gonna...It's got sauces.. there are sauces in the mail.
I got sauces in the mail! I'm gonna check them out right after
this. Hey guys! Welcome to A.D. Keto. My name is Aaron. This is the channel where
I talk about the ketogenic diet. I do some keto food vlogs, I do some keto
product reviews, like I'm doing today, and I do some keto recipes. If this is
your first time here, please consider subscribing, and if you do, be sure to

content. So guys, I'm very excited, because I'm gonna try out some sauces that I got
in the mail, from a company called AlternaSweets. I got a message on
Instagram from them, and they said, "Hey, we have some stuff that we'd like you to
check out. We also have a product that's not out yet, that we'd like you to check
out. Can we send it to you?" And I said, "Pshh! Yes?!" So I'm gonna review that stuff, and I'm
actually gonna open up this package right now. It actually came with a nice
note, that says, "Aaron, we really appreciate you trying our sauces. We're
very excited to hear the feedback. Enjoy! -Jared and Misti from AlternaSweets".
Thanks, guys! So -- well packaged. Nothing broke! Ooh. Some spicy tomato ketchup.
I believe this is the product that they said is not out yet. Wow. I like the looks
of that! Low-carb, no artificial sweeteners, paleo, vegan, no preservatives,
low-carb, gluten free, low calorie. "Our AlternaSweets family is committed
to providing you with great-tasting quality food products, made with the
botanical sweetener stevia." That's good. "We believe you deserve a thick, rich,
superior taste, without the calories that corn syrup contributes, or the aftertaste
of artificial sweeteners. With AlternaSweets, you don't have to sacrifice the
tastes you love to meet your healthy lifestyle choices." But man, they're saying
the right things, at least. I like what I'm hearing. So that's the ketchup,
and i think we got... what is this? This is original barbecue sauce. Same thing -- sweetened with
stevia. Very nice. And then there's one more in here. They said there were two things, but there are THREE!
What is this? Classic tomato ketchup. So, we got the classic tomato ketchup,
we got the spicy tomato ketchup, which is new, and we got the original barbecue
sauce. So I'm gonna just take a look at the nutrition information on each of
these, starting with the... let's start with the barbecue sauce. Sweet and smoky
barbecue sauce. Nutrition facts: serving size: two tablespoons, which is thirty
four grams. There are about 13 to 14 servings in this container. 25 calories,
total fat: one gram, total carbohydrates: seven grams, but one gram of dietary
fiber, two grams of sugar alcohol. So that's four grams of net carbs. One gram
of protein. Ingredients: water, tomato paste, blackstrap molasses, white
distilled vinegar, erythritol, butter cream... oh.
Butter, cream, milk, salt. I don't know if you can see the way they wrote that. It's very
interesting. Natural liquid smoke, spices, citric acid, natural flavors, onions,
paprika, garlic, stevia extract, red chili peppers. Contains: milk. Refrigerate after
opening. Okay, that's the original barbecue sauce. Let's take a look at the
original...the classic tomato ketchup. This is... serving size: one tablespoon. So
24 servings in here. Calories: five. Zero fat, two carbs, one sugar alcohol. So one
gram of net carbs. Ingredients: tomato paste, water, white distilled vinegar,
non-GMO erythritol, sea salt, onions, spices, paprika, stevia extract, garlic.
Awesome! Awesome ingredients there. Okay. And then lastly is the spicy tomato
ketchup. This is the not-yet-released item, although it may be, because they got in
touch with me a few weeks ago, I've kind of been sitting on that package, because I had
a lot of stuff going on. So by the time you see this, this may be out. Serving
size: one tablespoon, so 24 servings per container. Five calories, no fat, two carbs,
one sugar alcohol, zero protein. Ingredients: tomato paste, water, white
distilled vinegar, non-GMO erythritol, jalapeño peppers, sea salt, spices, onions,
paprika, stevia extract, garlic. Awesome. Well, I like what I'm hearing. All three
of these sound really good. So here's the plan: I was planning on making myself two
burgers upstairs. I was going to have a burger patty per bottle, but I think I'll
still make myself two burgers. I'll just slice them in half, and then I'll bring them
back down here and try each of these with them,
and see if I can make a huge mess of things. So I will be right back!
All right, guys, so I'm back. And I have two pretty much perfectly done burgers, there.
Ooh, so juicy. I saw on the package that it said "cook to 160". I put in my
thermometer that my buddy Steve gave me. I was planning on reverse searing them
(you can see an awesome reverse searing tutorial with my buddy Steve right up
here), but then I looked up... I thought for a moment, "160 seems a lot." So I did a
quick look up on Google, like "ideal temperature, internal temperature for
hamburger patties." And they had a list of, you know, rare to well-done. And well-
done was 160. So I panicked, and I took out these burgers right at
about 140. So these should be medium? I could have taken them out a little bit
earlier. I do like mine kinda medium-rare...ish. But they still are looking
pretty good. But the burgers are not the star of the show. The burgers are a
vessel for...we're gonna start with... I guess we're gonna start with the
original... you know what? We're gonna start with the original, classic
tomato ketchup, as a baseline. There it is. I'm just gonna put a little... I'll put a
little bit on the side of the plate, here. If it wants to come out / It is very thick!
And I will get out with my fork. I'm sorry that you can't see this, but I'm getting out
approximately a tablespoon. That's the serving size. That may be a touch more than a
tablespoon, but there you go. That's about a tablespoon. Okay. So I'm gonna dig into my
burger, here. Yeah. That burger. You know, I would want a little bit more pink than
that, usually. Still, these are thick burgers, so it will still be fine. All
right, ketchup. Let's see what you got. Mmm. I can't say anything yet. That is so
good. It's um... from what I remember of... say a Heinz ketchup,
this is Heinz, dialed down in like, potency, flavor-wise. But not too far. It's
still it's got a really nice tomatoe-y flavor to it. Really good. So I like the
taste of the classic tomato ketchup. Winner. Good baseline. So I figure after
the standard classic tomato ketchup, let's do spicy. I'll open this guy up... whoa!
Okay, that came out a little more quickly than I thought it would. I thought it was the
same consistency has to ketchup. What a dummy I am. That's a little bit more than
a tablespoon, so... but you know what? it's Friday night, I've been fasting
for the last 24 hours. I don't really care. It's late, I'm gonna have some spicy ketchup,
darn it. Okay, here we go. Let's dip that in, see how it compares.
That first bite... I don't know if I got enough on there . The second bite -- the jalapenos
really came through, really nicely. Not super... Not super... you know, spicy, but
it's got a little bit of a kick. Oh, yeah. Man!
Similar to the standard, but with with a little bit of that kick that I so like.
Paprika, too. I think is I what... is what I'm tasting as well. No, there's paprika in
the other one, too. Boy, that's really nice. You get a nice sort of mix of the spicy
jalapeño, and I like that it's sweetened with stevia. It's very cool. it's gonna
have a very minimal impact on my blood sugar. Another winner! Spicy tomato
ketchup is another winner. I am on board. Okay, lastly. Sweet and smoky
original barbecue sauce. Let's give this a day in court, shall we? And you'll have
to excuse me. I'm just going to eat this entire second burger. It's probably about
a almost a pound and a half of burger here, but like I said, I'm pretty hungry.
Okay, I'm going to carefully inspect the consistency, here, so I don't have a...so I
don't have a torrent of barbecue sauce raining down on my plate. I'll take it
very slow, because the serving size, I think on this, is two tablespoons. Yes, two
tablespoons. So there's about... that's about two tablespoons.
Just eyeballing it. Oh, I can already smell the smokiness. I like... like what I'm
smelling. Digging into the barbecue sauce. Again, burger a little bit more well-done
than really it should be.
Whoa, baby. That's really good. Oh yeah, the smokiness took a second, but man, it had a
nice little...little punch of smoke after the initial sweetness.
Oh, that's very good. I'll tell you what. I'm a fan of all
three of these flavors.
Holy cow, you guys.
Condiments are something that I kind of
gave up, particularly ketchup and barbecue sauce. Like, my kids have nuggets
and tots all the time, and they have a standard ketchup and barbecue sauce, but
I don't do barbecue sauce or ketchup on anything, anymore. This is gonna be really
nice to have around. And please pardon my gargantuan bites. I'm starving, you guys.
This is so good.
The only thing could make this better is if I hadn't messed up the burgers.
Well, they're not super-messed up, but it's a little too well done for me. But man, the
barbecue sauce is saving the day.
I'm gonna put a little bit more, a touch more down. Yeah, this kind of turned into
a mukbang.
Mmmm. Oh yeah.
Oh, I am SO down with all three of those flavors. Jared, Misti -- amazing stuff. All
three of these flavors. What I just ate, the original barbecue sauce, the classic
tomato ketchup, and the spicy tomato ketchup. All three. I loved it. I loved all
three of those flavors. If I had to rank them, I would probably say the spicy
ketchup was my favorite, followed by the barbecue sauce, followed by the original
ketchup. But you really can't go wrong. All three of those are great. I'm gonna
put links down below to where you can find this stuff. Again,
it is from AlternaSweets. Really keto-friendly ketchups and barbecue
sauce. So that's gonna wrap it up for this video, guys! I hope you enjoyed it. I
hope you enjoyed watching me stuff my face. If you like this video, give it a
thumbs up. Consider subscribing if you haven't
already. I hope you have a fantastic day, and I'll see you next time.
I got some sausages...Sausages?! Sauces.
