Call Me Maybe Carly Rae Jepsen

I threw a wish in the well Don't ask me I'll never tell

I looked at you as it fell And now you're in my way

I'd trade my soul for a wish Pennies and dimes for a kiss

I wasn't looking for this But now you're in my way

Your stare was holding Ripped jeans, skin was showin'

Hot night, wind was blowin' Where you think you're going baby?

Hey, I just met you and this is crazy But here's my number, so call me maybe

It's hard to look right at you baby But here's my number, so call me maybe

Hey I just met you and this is crazy But here's my number, so call me maybe

And all the other boys try to chase me But here's my number, so call me maybe

You took your time with the call I took no time with the fall

You gave me nothing at all But still you're in my way

I beg and borrow and steal At first sight and it's real

I didn't know I would feel it But it's in my way

Your stare was holding Ripped jeans, skin was showin'

Hot night, wind was blowin' Where you think you're going baby?

Hey, I just met you and this is crazy But here's my number, so call me maybe

It's hard to look right at you baby But here's my number, so call me maybe

Hey I just met you and this is crazy But here's my number, so call me maybe

And all the other boys try to chase me But here's my number, so call me maybe

Before you came into my life I missed you so bad

I missed you so bad I missed you so so bad

Before you came into my life I missed you so bad

And you should know that I missed you so so bad

【DRAWING】How To Draw "3 Heads" Chibi Lesson ♥! (ENG/ESP) - Duration: 19:29.

Hi! I'm Cori from Koori Style, and today I've for you the second chibi drawing lesson.

Previously I made a tutorial for drawing 2 heads chibis,

like these; let me explain: imagine that we have one circle for the head

and a second circle for the body; that's why it's called a 2 head chibi.

I also made one chibi video for each BTS member.

If you'd like to see those videos, I'll leave the playlist in the description ↓

I also made a separate tutorial in which I showed a more detailed

lesson about how to draw a simple 2 head chibi base with no movement.

And~ today I'll show you how to draw a simple

3 head chibi base with no movement, ok ^^

In the future, by practicing and learning more techniques, you'll be able to

draw your own chibis with more details on them.

Please have in mind I'm not a professional, I'm just sharing with you a simple way

to draw a basic chibi shape; later you'll be able to improve

and learn more about chibi drawing with practice :)

I will add a poll on this side of the window... on the "i" icon.

On the poll you'll be able to tell me which topic you'd like to see on the next chibi lesson.

I promised I was gonna make a chibi movement video, but

I thought it was better to show how to make a 3 head chibi first and then the movement lesson.

Or maybe you prefer a hair tutorial, or a eyes/mouth (expression) lesson.

Any lesson you'd like to see please select it on the "i" icon :)

Ok~ I'll start using a normal white paper sheet, folded in half.

You can draw yours on a notebook or anywhere you want.

I recommend you to use pencil and eraser; because for this tutorial I'll use

a pen and some markers (this way the camera will record better the drawing,

because if I use pencil it will be difficult for you to see the strokes).

Let's start with the 3 head chibi lesson (with no movement).

If you haven't seen the 2 head chibi tutorial,

I really recommend you to watch it since I explain more

the "head height" and I detail a little bit more the steps on that video.

On this video I'll be more quick since I'll imagine

you already saw the 2 head chibi lesson. So please, watch that video

and come back to see this one :) If you already saw it then... let's continue with "3 heads" XD

First let's draw 3 circles,

one on top of the other; you can use any circle you have at hand to draw it,

for example; I'll use this washi tape or you can use a normal tape.

Or you can find this ruler with circles at architecture stores.

I'll use this ruler because I need bigger circles for you to see better the tutorial :)

After drawing the 3 circles, we'll draw a vertical line, dividing them in the middle.

Remember you're using a pencil, so don't worry

if the line is a little bit crooked, it's only a sketch, it doesn't need to be perfect,

since we'll outline it later. Now that we have the middle line

We'll add an horizontal line between circle #2 and #3

This is the circle 1, 2, 3... the top circle is the head,

this is the body and this is for the legs; and please excuse

my small and ugly letter ^.^; So~ between the body and legs

we are going to draw a line that's going to be the same length

as the circle's width, the line doesn't need to be perfect,

it's just an approximate. Now we'll start repeating some steps of the 2 head chibi tutorial.

We'll also divide the first circle with another horizontal line, forming a "+"

which marks the center of the circle, now we'll draw a line

from the center to each one of the ends of this line.

Ok, from the center~ to the end of the line~

and again, it doesn't need to be perfect, mine is a little bit crooked actually ^^;

Now, from this point downwards we'll draw the legs.

It's going to be the same as the 2 heads chibi tutorial, you can make them inwards

or you can make them as rectangles, anyway you like.

I'll draw them on a very simple way using 2 lines; once you practice more

you can add more 'shape' to the legs, adding the knee and such.

I'll make mine a little bit tilted... something like this...

Two lines a little bit tilted to the center.

Now let's mark a small line in the middle of the legs,

from each side of the line (this is a small division between the 2 legs),

from here, downwards, we'll draw a straight line for each leg

and, with a small curved line,

we'll close the feet area. Now we have the head, legs and body.

We'll add the arms now. To draw the arms, we'll start from this point

that connects this body line with the circle of the head.

From this point we'll draw a tilted line going down, something like this:

And repeat, mine ended up crooked (again XD) but it's ok.

Now we just need to close the hands using a curved line.

so these are the arms... legs, body and head.

This is a super simple base to draw chibis.

Now let's continue with the head section :) (I zoomed in a little bit).

I'm drawing with a pen so I have a mess of lines,

but if you are drawing with pencil you can erase all these lines to leave the head area clean.

First let's imagine this circle in thirds. (I'll draw it on the side avoiding making extra lines)

Let's divide it in 3 sections.

1, 2, 3... but I'll draw it on this side, like this.

Now we have 1.. 2.. 3 sections.

On this bottom section; around here~ from this line downwards

I recommend you to draw the face, because if we draw it

too high, the 'chibi' look will disappear.

A characteristic of the chibis (Super Deformed) is that they have

child-like features, so if you draw the face above the line it'll look more adult.

So I really recommend you to draw it this way. You'll draw a good chibi with this tip.

Once we placed the "third" line, I also recommend you to draw a line on both edges

like this; it's just an approximate, I'll explain in a second this.

link each one of these lines to the base of the head, this way the chibi

will have a cheek shape, avoiding it to look too rounded;

I do it this way because I like this style,

you can adjust your chibi to your own liking ^^ if you don't want to add this step it's ok,

you can even make it more square-looking.

Let's continue and please remember this is a "body" tutorial.

I won't explain in detail how to make eyes, mouth or hair.

If you want a full tutorial on those topics please vote on the poll at the "i" icon :)

That way I'll be able to make a detailed lesson about them.

Now~ on the 1/3 face line we drew, below it, on each one of the halves we are going to draw each one of the eyes.

As I said in the previous video, you can make the eyes drawing "C" letters,

because if we rotate the chibi, like this, we can just draw the two letters "C".

If you can see these two "C" letters are a little bit 'crushed', at the end

At the end of the eyes you can add a small line (hook),

attempting to detail the eye just a little bit

For the eye you just need to draw a circle,

I also draw them using two letters "C", one going the normal way and the other inverted.. normal way.. inverted...

to finish it I just close the bottom gap on the eye. Now~ some tips:

Add a small shine using a line, like this~ and like this~

Now let's draw 2 small circles here to add more shine in the eye,

In the center I recommend you to draw a filled oval shape, hehe mine's a little bit ugly ^^;

And now just draw a shadow using another line here and here.

Done! A super simple eye~ remember this is not an eye tutorial, is a chibi tutorial :)

It's time to draw the brows, I always end up messing them up but let's try ;P

You can use the tip of rotating the chibi and draw another crushed "C" above each eye.

I always mess up this brow but it's ok~ hehe

The brows are done and now it's the mouth turn,

There are many mouth styles, you can just draw a simple one, like these:

A "V" shaped mouth, an "A" shaped mouth, using an upside-down triangle, or

you can draw the mouth that looks like a "W" (mine is all messy xD).

To finish the face you can also add some blush

using 2 ovals or these lines, this will make the chibi look very cute.

And we're missing something; over here, below the line we drew,

at the end point draw 2 more "C" letters, like this:

this is a normal "C" and this one is inverted; These are the ears~

Let's add the hair now, even though this is not a hair tutorial I'll show you some tips :)

As I showed you in the "2 heads" lesson.

To make the hair we can use the letters: L, V and C.

With these letters we can start drawing 'sections' of the hair.

I really recommend you to watch the previous lesson because I explain better the "L, V, C" technique ♥.

Now, let's use some "L" lines to make a fringe in our chibi's hair.

For example, let's draw a big "L" in the middle, like this:

and now we'll keep drawing more L's.

and at the end make a line that goes upwards.

*drawing lots of regular and inverted L's* You can also add some sections of hair here:

At the top of the drawing (I didn't left much space) using the middle line as a guide,

go a little bit over it and draw a small "V", one side can be longer than the other;

it'll look like a small check "✓".

Please notice I'm living a small gap between them, don't draw it very close or it'll look like a helmet.

Now we can just connect it or draw it behind the ear using a curved line,

like this~ and we'll do the same on the other side.

To finish the hair just imagine the line continues behind the ear,

and I'll finish my hair on peak(?), I'll do the same on the other side;

you can keep adding peaks/lines to add more hair at the bottom, mine is very simple

because we'll make a full hair tutorial later; now that you finished the chibi base,

using the pencil I recommend you to draw all the details.

For example~ we can add a ribbon on the head (since my chibi is a girl :P).

You can also start drawing the clothes,

remember I'll just show you a super simple way to draw it, later

you can improve yours :) I normally just add a "V" to make the neckline,

starting the V from the lines of the arm/neck downwards, using a curved "V".

This line that we used for the body, redraw it but a little bit longer,

the same on this side.

Make the line longer and close the gap with a curved line;

with this we'll create a simple dress :)

Now if you'd like you can add the sleeves~ on the dress~

And for the shoes I just draw them with a curved line above the feet line.

You can add another curved line above the shoe, to make knee-socks.

On the dress you can draw a cute pattern too,

I can't think of anything so I'll just draw a flower...and dots xD

Done! Once you finished drawing your chibi with pencil (you can erase mistakes or extra lines).

Now I'd recommend you to use a marker or a liner, like these:

to re-draw the outline of your chibi, then you can just erase the pencil lines

(I can't delete mine because I used a pen XD)

And once you have done that you can also add color ♥.

Now I'll fast-forward the video while I re-draw the outline (to eliminate the extra lines).

I'll be right back with you ;)

And~ I'm back with the finished chibi, I out-lined it with a marker,

and then I used colored markers and highlighters *these and these~*

I added a little bit of color so you can see better the hair, the accessories...

the clothes, knee-socks, and the shoes~

And the face too :)

So~ here's a 3 head chibi and a 2 head chibi;

The difference is that the 3 heads chibi has more "body space",

if you want to add more details to your chibi, that's going to be easier on a 3 heads than on a 2 heads;

because on the 2 heads chibi on a single "head" we have both, the body and legs.

And on this one we have a full "head" for the body an a full "head" for the legs.

So it's a little bit more difficult to add small accessories on a 2 heads chibi because there's less space.

And~ on this one you have way more space to draw accessories and such.

Before we finish, some last minute tips: As you can see I leave the hands like this,

but, as I said in the previous lesson, you can make them detailed like this (they'll look prettier :P).

You can also draw the feet something like this, so it'll be more "3D" ( let's imagine it's a sneaker ^.^; ).

The legs I draw are also very simple, using just lines;

but you can also draw them more detailed to make a better body for the chibi.

Let's say this is the inner line of the right leg, for the outer line you can draw some curved lines to have a 'knee' and 'calf'.

I hope my explanation made sense ^^; this is a small example for the right leg.

Remember this is only a simple and easy chibi, if you'd like to see a lesson of 2-3 heads chibi with

more details (a better body) so they don't look so stiff like mine ^.^;

Please let me know in the comments and~ don't forget to vote on the poll on the "i" icon.

That way I'll know the topic for the next chibi lesson ♥ (you have a full month to vote).

Once I start recording the next lesson I'll check which option has more votes on the poll (and the comments) ^.^/♥!

Thank yo uso much for watching ♥! I hope you enjoyed this video.

Please have in mind I'm not a professional, I'm just sharing with you the few techniques I know about chibis.

If you enjoyed this video please don't forget to click the like button.

And subscribe to Koori Style for more drawing, Kpop, tutorials and planning videos.

Thank you so much for watching! I'll see you soon with a new video. Bye bye~ ♥!

Milena Majerčáková - Wybrani twórcy Jarmarku Jagiellońskiego 2017 - Duration: 2:56.

My name is Milena Majerčáková.

I come from Slovakia, from a little town called Handlová located near Prievidza or the Bojnice Castle.

I've been etching pysanky for 25 years.

It's not a very common technique in Trenčín area but I've learned it.

I've been doing this for many years, also for ULUV [The Centre for Folk Art Production] in Bratislava.

This technique isn't difficult, you can easily learn it and make pysanky anywhere.

First, the egg needs to be carefully washed, then dyed – this is what the semi-finished product looks like –

then we use a sharp object to etch patterns on the shell – everyone can make anything they want.

I usually make floral patterns, as you can see here, they all have flowers.

When pysanky are ready, they look like this.

A small brush is then used to add finishing touches to the colourful eggs.

very simple, natural flowers are etched this way…

There are more demanding patterns, geometrical ones, I come up with them myself, they are not traditional.

Traditional patterns which have been used for a long time look like this…

These are traditional motifs which have been made for many, many years.

A certain lady from Prievidza taught me this technique. Unfortunately, that lady is no longer alive.

She was very kind and helpful. I recall her fondly.

In the past, I used a different technique – wax. But ULUV suggested that I learn etching,

they put me in touch with her and I remain grateful to ULUV and everyone who's helped me.

This is not a family tradition, my mother did not know it, I learned this from a stranger.

Is Liverpool FC's Emre Can about to make the biggest mistake of his career ● News Now ● #LFC - Duration: 2:09.

Is Emre Can on the verge of making a big mistake?

Liverpool have shown in the Champions League particularly this season why they are among

the most exciting teams in Europe.

Next season they are going to get even better when Naby Keita joins up, but their squad

could be weakened if Emre Can leaves.

Can showed in the win against Manchester City why he is a big asset, although inconsistency

has meant this has not been a weekly level of performance.

He is a free agent at the end of the season and has been strongly linked with signing

for Juventus.

SkySports reported earlier this year that an agreement in principle has been reached

for him to move, but Can has since insisted that no deal has been struck.

Likewise he has not committed his future to Liverpool, and his lack of clear intent is

a dangerous game.

According to the Mail, Liverpool are already eyeing a replacement in Napoli midfielder

Jorginho.

Can is a key player for Liverpool but he is replaceable.

At Juventus there is just as as much competition for places, with Blaise Matuidi leaving PSG

for Turin last summer.

It is hard to say joining the Italians would be a bad move in itself, it is just that this

Liverpool side have so much to offer.

Liverpool are moving forward in such an exciting direction that Can could be leaving at exactly

the wrong time.

He has already shown he is unafraid to make big decisions, leaving Bayern Munich for Bayer

Leverkusen earlier in his career.

This time he is already a regular at Liverpool and despite Keita being incoming, Can should

try and stay and be a part of Jurgen Klopp's vision for the future.

You know him from his book "Free Roll,"

please give it up for Brant Tobler.

[cheers and applause]

So this is a story about how I tried to kill my dad.

Trust me, it's hilarious. Trust me.

So you guys have heard the term "Blood is thicker than water,"

right?

I hate it. My dad must have said it to me

a thousand times growing up.

"Blood is thicker than water, son."

"Blood is thicker than water, son."

And I just started to hate it because I think it's what

family members say to you when they do something shitty,

and then instead of apologizing,

they're just like, "Hey, we have the same blood type,

so you have to put up with this shit."

So I would hear it all the time.

My dad would miss, like, basketball games and graduation

and he'd always say, "Blood is thicker than water, son."

And he ended up missing most of my childhood,

'cause when I was 5 years old, he went away to college.

Well, that's what my mom called it.

You guys could of course call it maximum security prison.

And every couple years on spring break,

he would get out and he would come visit my little brother

and I, and luckily my mom remarried and we had a great

stepdad who taught us how to ride a bike and build a fire,

stuff that you're supposed to learn from your dad,

because when my dad would come to town,

he would teach me the stuff he knew about.

So for instance, my dad taught me three things in life

I'll never forget.

Number one, you never snitch, no matter what.

Number two, if you have extra food at lunchtime,

you only give it to white people.

Weird to tell a fourth grader. I agree.

And the craziest one of all, my dad got out on spring break

one year and he came back home to visit us,

and he took me and my little brother swimming.

We had a great day at the pool, jumping off the diving board,

playing Marco Polo,

and I got out of the pool, I'm in the locker room,

and I'm taking a shower, and my father comes in

and he sees me showering.

He's like, "Hold on, son. Get out of the shower for a sec."

I was like, "Why? What's up, Dad?

He goes, "Son, every time you take a shower from now on,

before you get in the shower,

put the water on as cold as it can go

and then get in that cold water and shadowbox

until you count to 15."

I was like, "Dad, why would I do that?"

And he's like, "Son, the way your body reacts

when that cold water hits it

is the same way you'll react if you ever get stabbed,

so if you ever get stabbed,

you'll be able to fight for 15 seconds."

That's what my dad--that's what my dad

tells a fucking 12 year old.

And like an idiot, I do that shit till I'm, like, 19,

and I get a girlfriend and she's like,

"Why are we fake fighting in this cold shower?"

Like, you better be ready, bitch.

You could go down at any time.

The shit is real.

So that's my dad.

So my dad only did one good thing for me life,

of course I had wonderful stepdad,

and before I was about to start junior high,

he sent me and my little brother down and he said

he wanted to adopt us

and have us take his last name like we were his sons.

And of course my macho dad threw a fit

and he started calling the house collect every day,

threatening to kill my stepfather,

which I think is hilarious that my poor stepfather

had to pay for his own death threats.

But he would call and he would remind us

"Blood is thicker than water; you're my son."

And he eventually sent some goons over to the house

to, like, scare my stepdad, and my mom made a decision,

like, "Forget it, let's just keep your last name."

Which is the only good thing that my father ever did for me,

because if my stepdad would've adopted me,

I would've started junior high school

as Brandt Hufendick,

which I think has got to be the shittiest last name

in the world.

My poor little sister's named Hayley Hufendick.

I don't know why she didn't get married at midnight

on her 18th birthday, but she didn't do it.

So that was my dad.

And then after that he disappeared for, like, 8 years

and I never heard from him.

And I went to real college in Phoenix.

And then-- well, junior college,

so kind of real, but I went.

But then one day I got a letter out of nowhere,

and it was from my dad, and he just said,

"I'll be at the Phoenix airport in three days,

and I'd love to see you,

and there's no time to write back.

Just--I'll be looking for you."

I didn't know what to do, 'cause I was doing so good

in life and I hadn't seen him in almost a decade.

But then part of me is like, I got to go see my dad.

So I went to the airport,

which was one of the weirdest moments in my life,

because this is before 9/11, so you could go from gate to gate.

And when I got to the airport, I realized

I didn't even know what my own dad looked like.

So I'm in looking at the bars and bookstores.

I'm like, "Is that my dad? Is that my dad?"

And then of course I saw a guy with a ponytail,

wife beater, brown khaki pants.

I'm like, there's my dad.

So I run over, I give him a hug,

and we both fight back tears.

And he tells me how much he missed me

and how blood is thicker than water.

And he's determined to be part of my life again,

and he said, "I'm moving to Vegas.

I had this incredible cocktail waitress girlfriend,

and you're allowed--you know you can come see us

whenever you want."

And I was like, "Okay, Dad, thanks.

I gotta go back to college."

And I drove back to my dorm, and when I got to my dorm,

I called my two best friends back in Wyoming

who also had shitty dads growing up,

and I told him this story and they're like,

"We should go see your dad on our spring break."

And I was like, "All right, cool."

So they drove down from Wyoming.

They pick me up in Phoenix, and we went to Vegas

on our spring break and spent five days with my dad,

which was incredible, 'cause we were just dumb kids

from Wyoming.

He taught us about, like, hookers and craps,

seafood buffets.

We're like, holy shit, this is incredible.

So at the end of five days, he's like,

"You guys are welcome to come back whenever you want.

You can live with me and my girlfriend in this trailer."

And then we were like, "Sorry, dad, we gotta go back

to college."

And they started driving me towards Phoenix,

and every mile we got away from Vegas,

we were just itching to get back.

And by the time we got to Phoenix,

the three of us idiots made the decision

that we were going to drop out of college

and move back to Vegas to get our dream jobs

as pirates at the Treasure Island.

We thought, what would be better than wearing an eyepatch

and jumping off a big ship every hour

while drunk tourist chicks scream at us?

We're like, "That's it. That's the dream job."

So we dropped out of college.

Our families were furious with us,

and we moved to Vegas,

and of course we don't get pirate jobs.

I don't--we didn't know anything about casting

or any of that shit.

So my friends sober up and they go back home to Wyoming

and reenroll in college, but I was enjoying

hanging out with my dad, and I didn't want to leave,

so I decided to stay.

And then one day I actually got the dream job.

I would go play basketball every afternoon

with a bunch of professional gamblers,

and one of 'em hired me to be a runner.

So my job was just to carry hundreds of thousands

of dollars' worth of cash up and down the Strip

and bet on sports.

So it was great. I was making a ton of money.

Everything was good, so I told my dad we're moving out

of this trailer and I rented this beautiful house

on a golf course.

And I started calling my little brother who lived in Portland

at the time, just a little stoner dude that ran a Subway.

And I told him you got to come to Vegas.

It's me, you and dad; we can finally be a perfect

little family again, and he's like, "All right."

And he moved to Vegas, and we had a great time

the first six months.

We'd sit on the back porch every night,

just get drunk, tell stories.

He'd tell us about prison riots and shit

and we'd tell him about scoring 8 points

in a JV basketball game,

or whatever shitty stories we had.

He obviously had much better stories.

But he was always just waiting to get off parole.

He's like, "I can't wait to get off parole.

I can be my own man again."

And he'd talk about it every day,

and we counted down the days

till he finally got off parole.

And I remember I threw a big party at the house,

invited all our family and friends over,

and we just got wasted.

And I remember about 4:00 in the morning,

it's just me and my dad and brother in the kitchen,

and we're just telling him how proud we are

and we're just drunk and it's this incredible moment,

and then--but that is the last good moment

I'll ever have with my dad,

because the next morning he woke up, got back on drugs,

started bringing around, like, little 20-year-old meth heads

to my house, even though they're younger than me.

My dad's, like, 48 at the time.

And he starts just acting like a drug addict,

you know, stealing my friends' wallets,

forgetting my birthday, just being a shitty dad,

and I knew it was going bad,

but I didn't know how to get out of it.

And you know, it's hard to yell at your own dad,

and I knew it was going to happen.

And then on a Saturday during football season

I'd have to bet college football all day,

so I'd get to the Strip at 8:00 in the morning.

I'd run up and down and bet till, like, 9:00 at night.

Then I'd go home, go to bed,

and then do the same thing for NFL on Sundays.

So on the Saturday I worked my ass off,

I come home, I'm exhausted.

When I get home, my dad's there all cracked out,

and I tell him, "Hey Dad, I'm going to bed.

You can come down tomorrow and get everything comped

if you want to watch football."

He's like, "Okay, son."

And I went to sleep about 10:00.

Around midnight, my little brother busts in

and he's like, "Hey, Brandt, Brandt,

someone stole my money."

My little brother had saved up $350 to fly to Portland

to watch his girlfriend graduate college.

So I jump out of bed, like the big brother,

and I run downstairs to try to find my dad

and tell--to find whatever little shitty kid

took my brother's money.

So when I get downstairs, I don't see him,

I'm telling for him, and I go look in the garage,

'cause my white trash dad has this stupid convertible

Camaro that he thought was, like, the dopest car

in the world, and it always had to be parked in the garage.

So when I got in the garage and I looked

and his Camaro was gone, it hit me:

Oh, shit, I got all my money upstairs.

And I ran upstairs and my dad had stole

$80,000 cash from me.

And now, I worked for guys that you don't want to be

$80,000 short for, not that there's any job

you could $80,000 short for.

But I'll never forget that, and I see my little brother crying,

and I'm like, you stole 80,000;

why would you go steal your own son's $350, you know?

And it just drove me crazy, and to watch my little brother cry,

you know, I brought him from Portland, he was doing good,

and I brought him into this shit.

So in that moment, I made the decision, I'm like,

that's it; I'm gonna fucking kill my dad.

I'm gonna fucking kill my dad.

So the next morning I wake up and I call my cousin Kato

who lives in Phoenix, and he's like...

[laughter] He's like a real gangster

and the most loyal dude in my life, and I tell him

what happens.

He says, "I'll be there in five hours."

And he drives straight from Phoenix to Vegas,

and when he gets there, doorbell rings,

I open the door, and there he is.

He's like, "Where's he at? Where's he at?"

I was like, "Hold on. I got a plan."

Now, in my defense, I was 23 years old.

I'd never killed anybody before.

This is before "Dexter," "Breaking Bad."

This is obviously a fucking stupid plan,

but this was my plan.

My mom had told me a story that when I was young,

my dad had cheated on my mom and got chlamydia

and he had to go to the doctor,

and the doctor prescribed him penicillin,

not knowing that he was deathly allergic to penicillin.

So he took that penicillin and he almost died.

So in my head, I was like, "That's it."

You know, almost every morning

my dad would go to the Jamba Juice,

like, three blocks from my house, get a Jamba Juice.

I mean, that was, like, his favorite thing,

so I figured, fuck it, if I just get some penicillin,

put it in a Jamba Juice,

give it to my dad, he'll drink it,

he'll be dead, perfect. Airtight plan.

So I tell my cousin, he's like, "All right,

I mean, I can get penicillin."

So I was like...

He's like, he can get anything, trust me.

So he's like, all right.

I go, one more part of this plan, everyone will think,

like, I'm the number one suspect,

so I'm gonna go to Colorado

and you guys just take care of this shit.

They're like, all right, you're kind of a pussy,

but we'll do it.

And I was like, all right, good.

I don't want to go to college like my dad.

So...

I fly to Colorado, you know.

Me and girlfriend go to Estes Park.

We go to a hotel, and I call my cousin Kato.

I'm like, "Yo, are you ready?"

He's like, "We're ready.

Extra-large mango in the fridge

just waiting for your dad to come home."

I was like, all right, cool, call me when he's dead.

He's like, all right.

So I wait about a hour, two hours, no phone call.

I call him back, I'm like, "Yo, what happened?"

They're like, "Well, your dad came home,

but he wouldn't take it."

I was like, "What do you mean he wouldn't take it?"

Like, we gave him the Jamba Juice,

but he just put it back on the kitchen counter.

I was like--and looking back, I get it.

You know, my dad was in Leavenworth and real prison,

so he knows you don't take, like, a gift

from your enemy, you know?

I don't think he thought we were trying to kill him,

but he probably thought we pissed in it

or something stupid, right?

So I said, you know what, forget it.

This plan's stupid. Just go with the original plan.

Pack up my brother's stuff, go to Phoenix,

I'll fly home, we'll just never talk to my dad again.

My cousin's like "No, fuck that.

We do it my way now."

I'm like, "What's your way?" He's like, "We do it my way.

We'll call you in an hour," and he hung up the phone.

And I just sat there in the hotel like,

what are they gonna do?

And this is the plan they came up with.

So they knew my dad loved that stupid Camaro

and it always had to be parked in the garage.

So what they did was, they opened the garage door

and then they went out and they cut the phone lines

and the power lines and the just waited

for my dad to come home

in this dark corner in the garage.

Sure enough, my dad came home just like they thought,

parked in the garage, hit the button to get the garage

to shut, it wouldn't shut.

They said he was so frustrated, he didn't know what was

going on and he got out of the car, went over,

got the garage door, manually shut it, and locked it.

And as soon as he locked it

and started to walk back through the garage

into the house, my brother and cousin

jumped out with golf clubs

and tried to kill him in the garage with golf clubs.

But they were fucking idiots, because there was no light.

So they're swinging their hearts out,

almost killing each other.

It's like we needed a better murder caddy.

They fucked it all up.

But there was--the only light coming into the garage

was there was a side door that led to the backyard,

and at the bottom of that side door

there was a little doggy door,

and there was a little light coming through,

and my dad saw that light and he just put his shoulder down

and ran and busts through that door

and fell into the backyard, jumped over the back wall

onto the golf course and ran away.

And that was, like, 17 years ago

and I never saw him or spoke to him since that day.

So my brother and cousin go to Phoenix.

Three days later, I fly back from Colorado,

and I'll never forget I was standing in the garage

with this garden hose

trying to clean up the mess they made,

and that's when it hit me.

I was like, my dad was right this whole time.

His blood is way thicker than water.

Missouri Meerschaum with Dan Nemets Part I - Duration: 9:00.

Shane: Hey everybody I'm Shane Ireland.

Dan: And I'm Dan Nemets.

Shane: Welcome to another episode of All Pipes Considered. We have a special guest today,

Dan from Missouri Meershaum. Dan real quick, for those who don't know, why don't you give

us a quick rundown of what your duties are and what your role is at the company.

Dan: Sure. Like if you had to put a title on it, I would be Assistant General Manager.

But that's not ... The role is so dynamic. I'm in the office, I'm answering phone calls

and emails, do housekeeping when I need to do housekeeping 'cause everybody is super, super

busy making cobs. I operate the museum and I curate the museum. It's everything. The

beauty about this job is it's not like your typical nine to five manufacturing job, which

is my background. You don't go in and do a thing and then leave, it's like, you get in,

have yourself a cup of coffee, and then anything could happen.

It's really fun to work there.

Shane: So they keep you on your toes?

Dan: Yes.

Shane: So for those who don't know, give us just a quick overview of sort of the process

and I know a lot of stuff that you guys do is proprietary and that you have control over

the whole thing from planting and harvesting all the way through production. So just give

us a quick overview of how that works.

Dan: Oh sure. We'll plant the corn in springtime and then we have to wait for the moisture

content of the corn to get down, so it's usually sometime in October that we harvest. From

that point we'll bring it over to our corn processing facility, we call it our shelling

operation where we just de-shell the corn there. Then we bring it over by truck, use

an elevator to shoot it through a third story window, and it'll sit there for about two years

until it's ready to be worked.

Shane: So it's curing at that point?

Dan: Yes. Even though the moisture content is correct to harvest it from the fields,

it doesn't mean it's necessarily ready to become a pipe. This is something that, because

we've run our stock down over the years, we'll pull one of the cobs from this year's production

down, just to see if it's ready and it'll take plaster of paris just fine, and then

a week or two later the cob will reject it. It's kinda like a bad kidney transplant. Really

from that point we put it through a saw, it's sorted automatically by size.

Shane: That's so funny. I never really ... It never really occurred to me that they need

to cure, but of course they do. Let me ask one more question. At one point are the kernels

removed? Is that before curing, after curing? That's before curing, right?

Dan: That's before curing.

Shane: So when you guys are curing stuff, it's literally in this form here?

Dan: Yes.

Shane: Okay.

Dan: It's exactly what you think it is. It's just mountains of corn. Resting on the floor.

The coolest thing about it is like, Missouri summers are pretty hot, so if it's 95 degrees

outside, it's like 125 on our third floor.

Shane: On the third floor. Yeah, like being in an attic in the south here.

Dan: We operate out of this super huge brick building and it's really, really old. It keeps

heat really well and it loses heat really well. When it's hot, it's hot. Then when it

cools down it gets relatively cool. But it's nice for the nice for the corn to be able

to flex and change with the seasons like that. We've found that's the best approach.

Shane: Absolutely. What about ... I have a couple more questions before we get into the

specifics of some of these shapes.

Dan: Sure.

Shane: There's two different colors here, right? We have this sort of more natural cob,

which actually seems more dense and a bit heavier. Then we have this one here that has

this sort of red tinge to it. Are these two different varieties?

Dan: Yes. Two different ... Imagine two cousins. And you hit the nail on the head because the

white or yellow cob, that will grow bigger, denser so that lends itself well to some shapes.

Shane: So that's what you'd be using for the generals or ...

Dan: Yes, or MacArthurs, that kind of thing.

Shane: Gotcha.

Dan: Then the red cob, it's not as dense or as heavy, but it's just as sturdy. It lends

itself really well to a lot of our filtered pipes, like the Legend, like Pony, Mizzou, Eatons,

Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, that kind of thing.

Shane: Let's drill down to just the yellow cobs. Do you find that season to season there's

much difference in terms of smoking characteristics, or are they pretty consistent?

Dan: They're pretty consistent. It just depends on what the weather's gonna do in terms of

size that's coming out. We were really, really lucky this past year to have weather that

was very cooperative. Not just in terms of our yield, but this year we've been pulling

some monsters out of the field.

Shane: That's great.

Dan: The cobs that we have this year, this is just the beginning of what they've started

to bring over. It just gets bigger from here.

Shane: Really?

Dan: Yep.

Shane: Oh wow. That's awesome.

Dan: When the kernels are still on the cob, you can imagine that it's gonna double in

size. I try to explain this to my family back home 'cause they don't get it.

Shane: Sure, sure.

Dan: I'm like this is honestly the size of my forearm when we bring it in from the fields.

And they're like, is it edible? I'm like, I wish.

Shane: It's the size of your forearm when you bring it in from the fields, but once

it's de-kerneled and once it's dried, you lose a tiny bit of size.

Dan: Yes.

Shane: Okay, that makes perfect sense. Now that we have a little bit of an overview

about what it's like to take this stuff from the field and harvest it, and cure it, and get

it into production. The production line. Is this kind of specialized? I know you guys

have quite a few employees. Is there one guy that makes a certain shape, are you doing shapes

in a big batch? Do have to reset a lot of the machinery to accommodate a MacArthur versus

like a Legend or something? How does that work?

Dan: It's kind of yes and no on everything there. We do things by a batch. Imagine a

laundry hamper, but made out of wood and then with casters on the bottom. That's what we

use to bring all the cobs to different parts of the facility.

Shane: Somebody must be sorting them for what shape they're gonna be used for.

Dan: Yep, exactly. There are size sorts and quality sorts throughout those first five or six steps

of the process and then it really gets dialed in where you know, like, yes, this is gonna

be a Country Gentleman. Then from there it's just Country Gentleman the whole way.

Shane: Gotcha.

Dan: Typically, we do have people who are kinda specialized doing one or two, maybe

three different things. When it comes to applying the plaster of paris, we have to also take

it back off so that we can fill it a second time. And when you take it off, we have a

few guys, all day, they just take the excess plaster of paris off and they're really, really

good at that.

Shane: Absolutely.

Dan: They don't want to work anywhere else, so it's like, "Well, I guess that works for

everybody."

Shane: It's muscle memory at that point. I mean that's one of the benefits of manufacturing

on that scale is that ... I remember that one of the folks that actually ... Louisa

who's the head of the factory at Savinelli mentioned that one of the benefits of manufacturing

in that way is that you have a group of people that are good at one particular process. Instead

of being slightly good at every step, you have people who are extremely specialized

and that makes a lot of sense.

Dan: There are some people who are able to handle several different parts of our process,

but really it's kind of this is the guy who does X Y, this is the guy that does X Y Z.

It's pretty cool like that. You were talking about the machinery. Since I've been there

I've been able to find some of the original patents that we use for our automatic shaping

machines. They're incredibly detailed and the same ones that we've been using since they were

patented.

Shane: What year would that have been? Or just approximately.

Dan: 40s or 50s.

Shane: Okay, okay.

Dan: The cool thing it's like ... Missouri Meershaum is a super old business in Washington.

The only older business that I know of, is a tool repair shop called Blackman's. They've

been working on all of our bespoke machinery since day one.

Shane: That's so great. Have you ever had a chance to yourself to get down and try your

hand at turning one of these bowls or anything?

Dan: Yes. I kinda self imposed myself the first two weeks that I started there. I wanted

to learn things from the ground up so I was on the third floor getting the cobs, putting

them in the shoot that would transport them to the first floor. I operated our saw. I

operated our boring machine. I was filling with plaster of paris, taking it off.

Shane: What about sorting and stuff too?

Dan: Sorting, I didn't do much in the way of sorting because I ended up spending a lot

of time on the lathe. Approximately half of the pipes that we make are still shaped by hand

on a lathe. I don't know if the employees have that sick sense of humor where like,

they saved some of the ones I really truly badly messed up. Because it's incredibly difficult

because cobs are kind of squirrelly. It's not like working with briar or any kind of,

treated wood, because as you're trying to shape it, you may hit a dense spot that you

needed to lean into and then it goes away to a soft spot. And now you've just ruined

a cob. I spent a good day and a half, two days on

the lathe just trying to figure that out.

Shane: Maybe one of these days for your anniversary or something put one of those on a plaque

and put it in your office for ...

Dan: Remember your shame.

Shane: Yeah, exactly.

Dan: Well, Dan, I think this is a good place for us to take a brief break. Everybody, thanks

for watching. Please tune in for part two.

Be Your Own Muse - The Frida Khalo Story | Barbie Vlog | Episode 54 - Duration: 3:27.

Hey! So check out my new room

from the remodel.

I promise I will do a full

room and house tour...

But today is my birthday

and my birthday present to you

is to share the story

of Frida Kahlo.

Her work and her story

inspires me everyday.

If I could describe

her influence on me

in one sentence,

it would be...

Be my own muse.

We all have the vision to

inspire ourselves and,

the strength to overcome

anything, right?

and that doesn't mean

you're never going to be afraid,

or that bad things won't happen.

it means, we can overcome.

And now Im going to show

you the story of Frida Kahlo

Magdalena Carmen Frida

Kahlo y Calderon

was born in Coyoacan,

Mexico City in 1907.

She was curious and strong

and interested in her culture,

nature, literature,

and the world around her.

She got polio when she was 6

but she refused

to feel different.

Frida wanted to be a doctor

when she grew up.

at that time there weren't

a lot of women doctors,

but Frida had a dream.

She worked hard

and was one of the first

women admitted to

to the prestigious Escuela

Nacional Preparatoria.

But when she was 18

everything turned upside down.

Frida was in a

terrible accident,

which broke many bones

in her body,

including her back,

and she was bed-ridden

for months in great pain.

She had to give up

her dream of being a doctor.

During her recovery she

was alone for most of the day.

So Frida decided to paint.

she didn't let the

circumstances get in her way.

Her Mother made made an easel

for her to use lying down,

and she used some paint

that her Father had.

She had them put a

mirror on the ceiling so she

could paint herself

as a subject.

She was her own muse.

Of her 143 paintings,

55 are self portraits.

One of the things I love

in her self portraits

are the animals.

Frida loved animals.

She had monkeys, dogs,

birds as pets living with her.

One of her favorites

was her hairless dog.

She later said that the accident

and isolating recovery

gave her the desire

to begin again.

She never let the

disability define her.

She had to wear medical corsets

throughout her life

after the accident.

But rather than seeing

these as symbols of weakness,

Frida embraced them

and painted them.

Decorated them, and made them

works of art and

symbols of strength.

She didn't stay in bed.

She continued to paint,

and went on to become

one of Mexico's most famous

and loved artist

living a vibrant life.

Her work and point of view

inspired the world over.

She was the first

20th century Mexican artist

to have a painting bought by

the Louvre in Paris.

Frida embraced her reality

with passion and love.

She believed she was

capable of anything,

and that gave her the power

to overcome the obstacles

in her way.

I see this in her work.

Be your own muse.

You are, who you are

and that is beautiful

and powerful.

Define the life

you want to lead.

Paint the world as you see it.

I love Frida Kahlo

Who inspires you?

Ammi (mother) taught me,

if you take something,

it's your responsibility to give something back

I was very young,

whatever I learnt,

I learnt at home,

I learnt from my Ammi

But there is only so much you can learn at home

Dreams withered

but the Will only grew stronger

I had to do something

I had to learn something

Then call it coincidence or call it fate,

one day camps were set up in the village

They were teaching so much,

for so little money!

That's where I learnt tailoring from

After marriage, I joined a new family

Left my home, left my village behind, even

But my learnings and I were stitched together

That's why, today, I own 3 sewing machines.

I even taught my sister-in-law

keeps me busy and even brings home some money.

Now if I have everything at home

then what am I doing here?

Walking 6 kilometres,

in this cruel heat,

just to travel to another village, why?

Now that I have learnt,

I am giving back

There are so many people like me

so many dreams

I am keeping them from withering

Ammi had taught me no?

If you take something

it's your responsibility to give something back.

That's just what I am doing.

February Wrap Up! - Duration: 10:52.

Hello everyone!

I am Ashleigh, and today I'm going to be doing my February Wrap Up.

I only ended up reading three books in February, and pretty much all of them were at the very

beginning of February because I fell into a reading slump halfway through.

It has literally taken me a good two or three weeks to read a hundred pages.

So..reading at the moment is a bit slow paced.

But let's just talk about the books I read in the beginning of February.

So the first book that I read was Force of Nature by Jane Harper.

This is the second book in a series, but both of the books that are released so far can

be read as standalones.

The first book is called The Dry.

And I was sent this by the publisher because I was taking part in a blog tour, so there

is a full review of this on my blog if you want to check that out, I will leave it below.

But this follows five women who are forced to go on a corporate retreat as a form of

team building exercise, which is everyone's worst nightmare.

No one should be forced to do group work as an adult.

Please stop.

But while five women go on this retreat, only four return, and you need to find out what

happened to Alice - the woman that went missing.

I don't normally read mystery novels, but I wanted something quick and, as you might

expect when you want to solve a mystery, you tend to read things quite quickly, so that's

why i accepted this one to review.

And I'm really glad I did, because I ended up really enjoying it.

Now the main thing that I liked about this was how flashbacks seem to run alongside.

The chapters tend to switch between the investigation and the events of what actually happened.

So you have this sort of narrative that switches between trying to figure out what happened

and the events playing out, so you can kind of see how close the investigation is to the

actual events.

I feel like I'm just repeating myself.

Basically you get to see more than the investigators do, so you can kind of see whether they're

on the right track or not.

And as well in this, it's not easy at all to figure out what happened, because all of

the character have something shady about them.

None of them are clean cut, they all have something in their background that could be

suspicious regarding this case.

And it's kind of just a test to see which order you rank them in, to which one could

have broken first and caused such an event to happen.

And you never know whether it was all just an accident all along, or whether it was something

much more sinister.

I think as well in this, the setting and the weather really sets the tone, because it's

a team building exercise where they basically have to go hiking in the wilderness somewhere,

so the second that anyone gets lost it's just a massive disarray and it's quite urgent,

because there's a lot of danger around in the wilderness.

And with the weather being really stormy, the urgency only rises as the days pass, and

you can really feel the tension rising with every page turn.

There were a couple of things that I didn't like, such as the "romance", if you can call

it that.

I wouldn't call it that, but I don't know what else to call it.

It just wasn't necessary at all.

And I think a lot of books just randomly throw in some romance element because they can,

and it's just not needed at all to make a good story.

So I wish they didn't do that.

And as well, there was one scene in particular which touched upon the sexualising of teenagers,

but it did it through the perspective of a middle aged man.

I think he was middle aged - either way, he was older than a teen.

So it was just a bit uncomfortable to read, because I don't think that was the right perspective

to be talking about things like that through.

So I didn't like those, but it did really work as a mystery novel.

I didn't guess what had happened.

And yeah, I really enjoyed it, so I rated it 4 out of 5 stars.

The next book I read is one for university, and that is Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.

This one follows Okonkwo, who is a great warrior in his clan, and it basically just follows

his life, in which you get to see his clan being threatened by European outsiders.

This one was so fascinating to read on a cultural level, because it's set in West Africa, and

it's not really a culture that I've read much about so far.

And so gettin to see the different aspects of culture, like the songs they sing, the

sayings, the way that they use drums to communicate, the traditions, the religions, everything

like that was just so insightful.

And it's one of those things where fiction doesn't have to teach you anything, but if

it does, I see it as a massive bonus.

And this - I felt like this did to me, in a way that wasn't tedious at all, or not even

intentional.

Although it probably was, because it's Chinua Achebe.

I don't know.

Just seeing this other aspect of life that's completely different to my own world view

and the way that I live - I loved it.

All the way through, I wasn't necessarily adoring the book.

I did enjoy it, but I didn't love it...until I got to the end, and then that changed everything.

Because the end is so harsh and purposefully jarring, that it just completely changed how

I looked at this book.

It completely dissociates itself with Okonkwo's story, which you've been following all along,

and it does so in a way that really highlights the severity between the culture clash around

the time of imperialism and the dangers that it could cause.

And that dissociation right at the end was just the right twist to really highlight the

danger, the severity, the different ways that one scenario can be completely different regarding

someone's culture, and background, and where they come from, their privilege, different

things like that.

It just completely changed the way that I looked at this book within three pages or

so.

So yeah, I ended up rating this one 4 out of 5 stars as well.

And the final book that I read in its entirety in February was The City of Brass by S.A.

Chakraborty.

This is an ARC that was sent to me by the publisher, and oh my god guys, this book.

It's been so long since a book has left me itching to read.

Like, I've enjoyed all the books that I've been reading lately, but not enough for me

to physically want to pick it up at every single moment.

It's been more of a case of "I want to read" rather than "I want to read that book in particular".

However, this book came along and it changed that entirely.

I was, oh - from the the very first page I was itching to keep reading, and I just sped

through this book even though it's a lot longer than the books that I've been reading lately.

This is set in Cairo, and follows a woman called Nahri who is a conwoman.

And she doesn't believe in magic, until she accidentally summons up a djinn warrior, which

then takes her off into this fantasy world.

And despite it being a new fantasy world, it still does interweave the culture that

was originally there in Cairo.

You get to see all the different aspects of culture in all the smaller details as well,

like the traditions, the clothes they wear, the sayings, the songs, the rituals, and especially

in the languages as well.

So many different languages are mentioned, and accents, and things like that.

And even though they're the sort of details that I would be completely new to, it was

just so rich in detail that it didn't cause a problem in trying to understand.

I felt like I did understand everything, and even though I will never be able to understand

it on the same level as someone who came from this sort of background, I've heard a lot

of bloggers and readers who are from the same background/religion/countries/different things

like that - I've heard a lot of them saying that this is an accurate representation, and

I'm going to try and find some of their reviews as well and link them down in the description

box, because they will be able to provide a better insight than I will ever be able

to.

We have Nahri, who is without a doubt on of my new favourite characters, because she's

strong, she's sarcastic, and yet in a way she's not always brave.

You do get to see her being really scared of the situation she's in, as you would expect.

You get to see her vulnerabilities.

You get to see her accepting help when she needs it rather than trying to do everything

on her own, which is something that I really look up to, in a way, because it is hard to

do that.

She was such a realistic character, and I just want to be like her so much.

It is a dual perspective book, so you do follow Ali as well, which I'm still not sure about.

I do like Ali, but I liked Nahri a bit too much for me to enjoy his perspective as much.

If that makes sense.

So I did slow down a bit in that respect, because whenever I got to one of his chapters,

I just want to get back to Nahri's instead.

However I did like the dual perspective in the way that you could see the same sort of

scenarios through different people's perspectives, and you get to see what they think of each

other rather than trying to assess the situation from just this one person's mind.

You get to see political feuds, family feuds, magical feuds, all different aspects of a

world that is just so well built, I honestly can't fault it.

In case you couldn't guess, I absolutely loved this book, and I rated it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

I think by the time this video goes up, I might have a full review of this, so if I

do then it will be down in the description box.

If not, it will be coming soon, s keep an eye out on my twitter for an update of when

that's up.

And I thought I'd quickly mention the book that I'm currently reading because I have

been reading it for about two weeks now, even though it's really short.

But that is The Passion by Jeanette Winterson.

This, again, is one that I have to read for university, and I'm not going to say much

about it because I honestly don't know what to think of it yet.

I absolutely adore Jeanette Winterson's writing style.

In fact, I've marked off a page where I want to read out this one sentence because it's

just - how she words things seems a little bit like magic.

Now the scenario that the quote is taken from isn't one that I can relate to at all, because

it's about training to become a priest.

However, just the way she words this one sentence for some reason really stands out to me and

I love it.

So this is what it says - "...although my heart is as loud as hers, I can pretend no

answering riot."

I don't know why I love that so much, I just do.

But, yeah.

The way she words things blows my mind sometimes.

But the story itself I'm not sure about yet.

It's one of those books where I really want to research into the background and just Jeanette

Winterson herself before saying more about it, so that's what I'm going to do.

But yes, those are the books that I read in February!

Let me know if you've read any of them, I'd love to know your thoughts on them.

And also let me know how many books you managed to read in February with it being a shorter

month.

Those two or three days count a lot more than people realise.I'd love to know what your

favourite book of February was, because then I can just add more to my TBR, as always. As

I mentioned before, the full review for Force of Nature will be down in the description

box, along with the full review of The City of Brass if that's up already.

So go and check those out if you want to.

I hope you're having a lovely day, and I shall see you next time with a new video.

Bye!

VP Live. First free day in Bucharest - Duration: 7:27.

Hello everyone, friends! I'm back with some great news:

I'm in Bucharest, our guys are already in play-offs, and I'm finally able to make some so much requested vlogs!

Let's get started already!

The most important thing in any trip with Virtus.pro...

The Internet!

Our mission is to find Solo in the hotel.

The intelligence says he didn't leave to practice yet, so I have to find him.

Happy to see you! I arrived home at 7 AM.

So far the guys have told me that in Bucharest, the cuisine is great... and relatively cheap.

But what's the deal with service? Please tell us how long we've been waiting already.

I guess that's because we tipped really little, so...

That's why Solo withdrew his cash before coming here.

They're plastic.

Those are lei.

And they're plastic.

We tipped an older waiter a couple of times - he was so glad!

So Solo said: "let's make the old man happy."

It's the second tournament together with VP for you, isn't it?

Yep.

So how's it going?

How do you like the atmosphere inside the team?

Well, we aren't playing any Dota, naturally.

You aren't playing any Dota, for real? - Just kidding.

Finally, our beautiful order.

With macaroni? - No, with mashed potatoes!

The Virtus.pro team is very original in their choices. We work as a team.

As a team!

Salmon, salmon... Yummy.

The captain said salmon, so we're eating salmon.

We're practicing new heroes, - Yeah, - Preparing for OpTic Gaming,

Yeah, we have started a day ago, because they're strong opponents - our new kryptonite.

If we win this tournament, RodjER will burst into lezghinka, while I'll take the knee and start...

Not this tournament! We were talking about The International!

Ah, The International.

I'll start singing in Armenian, then. - Really? - Yes.

Right now the language barrier, a conflict of communications, is unfolding.

We have to head forward without our coffee.

I think we're getting a hang of it.

Actually, we had to take some syrup, but since we're on a diet - no syrup for us!

I felt alive today, because...

You were like robots before?

Yeah, like robots - we arrived to practice, played some, went back to sleep, woke up, practice again...

The boys started feeding me a little bit.

So what do you say?

Not bad.

Ramzes is in awe from the congratulations that our guys recorded for their girlfriends.

The very best Armenian - our support Nikogosyan!

Our candidate!

What do you think about the mandatory slippers here? Please tell your take on it to the unknowing people.

Well, it's for the home-like atmosphere. All 16 teams are like a big family here.

Obviously, that's not the case. We're all forced to wear slippers and it's...

I'm in overshoes, by the way.

At least your feet don't get all sweaty.

What was the most interesting thing the guys asked you in the last couple of days?

Maybe someone suddenly wanted some, I don't know...

Adventures?

No, maybe some unusual national cuisine, or something.

Well, for the latest national cuisine - I brought some shawerma recently.

How's shawerma in Bucharest?

Instead, I ordered some sort of a kebab - a Turkish made, natural barbecue coated in a soft bread loaf - without sauce, rather in a pot pie.

Nobody liked it except Pasha.

Can you tell us - the guys have been flying between tournaments non-stop lately - are they not tired of each other? What's the atmosphere inside the team?

The atmosphere is simply great - after all, we're a unique super-team - we rest together, work together, and discuss all things together - the relationships inside the team are very open and honest.

We're like family - we're all friends, and it's crucial.

There's a wonderful app for iPhone - it detects your activity during the day.

Allegedly, the daily activity norm is about 11 000 steps - in order to stay healthy and fit.

I just checked Ramzes' today statistics - behold!

He didn't even walk 1km today, walked up on a single floor and made 782 steps.

I guess that's the way from his hotel room to here, and maybe to grab something to eat, and that's it.

9pasha, like Ramzes' true teammate, didn't come far from him - to be precise, 100 steps farther, at most.

And also failed to walk one km.

As you can see, Pasha is living up to the all pro-player stereotypes, and follows his own norm.

Well, that's what I call a result: 9 floors, 20 000 steps - the double of the average daily norm!

and 16,4 km - the result of Dmitry's vigorous walking.

Well, now it's clear who plays Dota, and who arrived in Bucharest just to jog around.

Well, what about me - modestly walked six kilometers, eight and a half thousand steps and two floors.

With suitcases as well!

That's the statistics. Just a fan fact, food for thought.

[Five hours later...]

After spending an entire day with the guys, I can safely say only one thing - if you observe Virtus.pro long enough, you can see how they play Dota.

This training day will seemingly never end - the guys are still sitting in a practice room while it's already dark outside...

And our day is coming to an end - because I need to go edit the video for our vlog!

Like, comment, subscribe, give your opinions and stay tuned for the upcoming episode!

Spintires MudRunner - Seashore Ship Easter Egg and Challenge Xbox One - Duration: 12:07.

Hello folks, how are you all? Mineirann here, once again.

Welcome to one more video at this channel.

With a Spintires MudRunner video.

If you don't know what this game is about.

At the end you will have a link, as well as at the description.

Of another 2 videos that I made for this channel.

Talking about this game, as well as, a funny coop gameplay.

Today's video will show an Easter Egg, that I found out.

I made a search at youtube and another places.

I could find anyone who had reach this Easter Egg

I found out this Easter Egg while I was doing a "mission" at this map Seashore

I went through a point that I thought interesting

And as soon as I finished I came back to explore it.

When I was exploring I realized that it is an Easter Egg

He is located and show at the map as an Island

But, there isn't an Island there. Actually there is a Ship there.

So I will show how to reach this ship.

Where he is located

And I will try to put the Jeep there as a Challenge as well. =)

Ok? So let's go...

As you all Can see there Ship is already there.

I brought the K-700 already as well as the gasoline truck.

Now I will open the map

I explored almost the entire map

I just let this watch point because he is no important.

But I reached the others for you guys have an idea.

Where this Easter Egg is located. He is on the side of our primary garage.

So theses 2 land pieces are actually 2 ships. There is no Island there.

And we can drive there, because I already reach these ships.

I took a print screen and I shared at MudRunner Xbox Club

From US, and some people become interested with more than 80 views.

Only one had figured out this ship, his location and the map.

So It is revealed and now I will try to put a Jeep on this ship.

So let's go back.

I will switch for K-700

And let's try.

Let's fire up.

We are back, lets grab the jeep.

Sorry about the connection problem.

I want to get it right

Because his weight will make some influence

Ok. So let's bring

This jeep to the ship.

On of important thing here is

Use the rear gear.

Watch out for do not droop

I'm being careful, because I know there is a shallow place here.

This place.

We are good here and let's turn off.

Because I will need to fill up and I let the 375 here for this.

Ok. So let's go finish this Challenge.

Switch to K-700 again.

And let's reach our Easter Egg

It is important to do this during the daylight

Because until you get there we have some shallow spots

And you can have an idea where you can go through

Less deep.

Let me have a look on the map.

Let's go.

I Hope it work. =)

Will become deeper

And that is why I use the K-700

Ops Let's get back.

It will be tough.

Is soo deep here.

Maybe with another machine.

But let's try again

Let's go to the right.

I failed. it is way deep.

Anyway...

There is the tip.

For who wanna try to get here.

Ops. Am I able to turn on?

No I can't. haha

But there is is.

A cool Easter Egg

We almost put the Jeep there

But is way deep here at this Stranded Ship

So this was the today's video. I hope you all liked.

What is in my Opinion it is a Easter Egg.

Since as you can see here at the map.

The game show as 2 islands

But actually are 2 Ships

2 Huge Stranded Ships

And I make this Challenge

If you can put or load the jeep here.

I think it is possible.

Maybe with another truck or machine from some DLC

I still have some to unlock.

As soon as I accomplished I will share the video with you all.

Is soo deep this part

So I lost my excavator.

But anyway. One more curiosity at this channel.

If you enjoyed, leave a Like.

Subscribe and share with your friends.

Andy doubt, suggestions or critics

Write down at comment at section.

I will try to answer every one is possible. ok?

To US players, a especial hug because I know they are a major players of this game.

Leave your comments in English

If you guys reached or not this Easter Egg

And accomplished the challenge to put the jeep on this ship.

All right?

Thanks for watch this video until now.

And see you at next one. Cheers.

Ok, from the center~ to the end of the line~

and again, it doesn't need to be perfect, mine is a little bit crooked actually ^^;

Once we placed the "third" line, I also recommend you to draw a line on both edges

like this; it's just an approximate, I'll explain in a second this.

link each one of these lines to the base of the head, this way the chibi

will have a cheek shape, avoiding it to look too rounded;

In the center I recommend you to draw a filled oval shape, hehe mine's a little bit ugly ^^;

At the top of the drawing (I didn't left much space) using the middle line as a guide,

go a little bit over it and draw a small "V", one side can be longer than the other;

it'll look like a small check "✓".

Please notice I'm living a small gap between them, don't draw it very close or it'll look like a helmet.

Now we can just connect it or draw it behind the ear using a curved line,

like this~ and we'll do the same on the other side.

To finish the hair just imagine the line continues behind the ear,

and I'll finish my hair on peak(?), I'll do the same on the other side;

you can keep adding peaks/lines to add more hair at the bottom, mine is very simple

because we'll make a full hair tutorial later; now that you finished the chibi base,

using the pencil I recommend you to draw all the details.

Make the line longer and close the gap with a curved line;

with this we'll create a simple dress :)

So~ here's a 3 head chibi and a 2 head chibi;

The difference is that the 3 heads chibi has more "body space",

if you want to add more details to your chibi, that's going to be easier on a 3 heads than on a 2 heads;

because on the 2 heads chibi on a single "head" we have both, the body and legs.

The legs I draw are also very simple, using just lines;

but you can also draw them more detailed to make a better body for the chibi.

Let's say this is the inner line of the right leg, for the outer line you can draw some curved lines to have a 'knee' and 'calf'.

I hope my explanation made sense ^^; this is a small example for the right leg.

Remember this is only a simple and easy chibi, if you'd like to see a lesson of 2-3 heads chibi with

more details (a better body) so they don't look so stiff like mine ^.^;

Bye bye~ ♥!
