The United States Constitution is a document that we're probably all familiar with.

It's the one that recognizes that no country or human institution gives rights; God gives

them, and it's up to the government to accept them.

When they said that we are "…endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights…"

they just acknowledged that this government would be one that yields to God-given rights.

They wanted to work with God, not against him.

A lot has changed since 1776, and not many of our politicians still have those beliefs.

Our elected officials almost exclusively lean on their understanding and listen to whatever

the majority wants.

That failing on the part of our government remember their mission, to keep the people

safe, is what lead to the one thing that has killed more Americans than anything else;

abortion.

Since the 1970's, Americans have been systematically killing off the next generation, all for the

sake of convenience.

Government rationalized it, claiming that the unborn aren't alive at all.

The battle for the lives of the unborn has been raging for decades, but the state of

Iowa has just taken an enormous leap to saving lives.

In honor of Women's Day, we tell you about all the women who won't be slaughtered on

the altar of convenience.

We can tell you that the Iowa Senate has decided that once a heartbeat can be detected, the

baby can no longer be killed.

The American Conservative Herald reports that this comes after a long hard debate about

the interpretation of life, and how we define it:

"Quite simply, the debate over constitutional and God-given rights is never going to end.

The most vocal folks on both sides of the argument have their feet completely dug into

the ground, and that's not a recipe for a meaningful debate over the facts.

However, there remains plenty of room for debate when it comes to what's legal and

what's not.

For conservatives, we firmly believe that the words stated in both our Declaration of

Independence and U.S. Constitution mean exactly what they mean and that their words stand

the test of time.

If a new proposed law defies either one of these documents, then it's time to throw

it out.

And then you have Liberals, who believe that these two precious documents are always open

to new interpretation.

So in their minds, anything goes and any bill that would naturally destroy either the Declaration

or Constitution is no big deal.

To them, changing laws to go with the current times is necessary.

Thankfully, one Midwest state was able to put a kibosh on Democrats who were trying

to deny our most basic right by a vote of 30-20.

Conservative Tribune has the details.

The Iowa Senate voted Wednesday to pass a bill banning abortions if an unborn child's

heartbeat is detected upon ultrasound, moving Iowa one step closer to becoming the first

state to ban abortions.

Iowa lawmakers voted 30 to 20 Wednesday for Senate Bill 3143, which outlaws abortion upon

the presence of a fetal heartbeat.

A heartbeat typically becomes detectable between six and nine weeks gestation.

The pending legislation entails any doctor being charged with a Class D felony — subject

to five years in prison and a $750-to-$7,500 fine — if they perform or attempt an abortion

on a woman after an unborn child's heartbeat is detected.

Needless to say, critics have blasted the bill and will do whatever they can to continue

to fight their heinous fight.

There were Senate members who voted against the bill, of course.

'This bill is dangerous.

This bill is unconstitutional.

This bill devalues Iowa women,' Democratic Senate Minority Leader Janet Petersen said,

according to The Courier.

The bill is 'unpopular, unconstitutional, and unconscionable,' Parenthood of the Heartland

public affairs Director Erin Davison-Rippey said.

'Seven in 10 Americans agree that abortion should remain safe and legal,' Davison-Rippey

added.

However, public sentiment indicates that changes are needed, and the bill amounts to a huge

step in the right direction.

Seventy-six percent of Americans, however, want significant abortion restrictions, including

making abortion illegal after three months into pregnancy.

Ninety-two percent of Republicans, 61 percent of Democrats and 78 percent of Independents

want significant abortion restrictions."

The career politicians in Washington like to pretend that they have a whole lot of jobs,

but American was founded on the principle that the people needed to be free, and the

government needed to be small.

The truth of the matter is that they've only got a few things on their to-do list,

and protecting the innocent is right there at the top.

Whether they want to believe it or not, Iowa's policy change is a win for all.

Taking away the option of murder is something that saves both the murderer and the would-be

victim.

One last thought on abortion from one of the greatest Presidents in American history, the

late great Ronald Reagan: "I've noticed that everyone who is for

abortion has already been born."

channel from a long long time ago like years and years ago I where I did an

incense haul and I talked about like incense what the smell means and why I

light it and I'm gonna do like an updated version of that today I'm gonna

share with you guys my entire collection and what each scent kind of symbolizes

and means and why it's good to burn if you guys are interested then keep on

watching I have a lot so stay tuned okay so starting off with why do I light

incense I light it because it's very calming and therapeutic for me the aroma

and scent of different incense invokes a different mood and emotion from me it's

uplifting it's calming relaxing its soothing it's cheerful it reduces the

tension and anxiety and stress and it makes the air in the room that I burn it

in just smell a lot better and it makes me feel like the air is purified it gets

filled with the energy of whatever scent I burn and it's just overall very

magical to me it's very therapeutic to watch the smoke sometimes it helps me to

focus I have this big giant bag here filled with all my incense and as you

can see I have a lot this is how much I love burning it I burn it every day

multiple times a day it just really makes me feel good and helped calm me

relax me helps me focus and concentrate I'm just gonna go ahead and just grab

any random incense from in here and then talk to you guys about it so the first

one I grabbed out of here is the Rosemont so of course the rose incense

smells like roses it has a very very strong rose smell burning rose incense

is known to increase love it instills a feeling of peace and it reduces tension

this incense has a very sensual smell and it promotes peace and love in the

home it's also one of the ones I love to burn that instantly just

cheers you up just like up lifts you instantly by the way I love to get my

incense from my local Indian stores or even Walmart and recently I went to the

99-cent store and I found these for a dollar so you get 56 incense sticks and

you get four different flavors you get jasmine rose sandalwood and lavender so

I stocked up and I'm gonna go back and get more because these are lovely these

are amazing and you get so much for a dollar if usually one like one pack of

sixteen sticks cost like a dollar ninety-nine at the Indian stores so a

really really good deal next incense is dragon's blood I got these from Walmart

these were a dollar and you get 40 sticks that's a really good deal -

Dragon's Blood incense is really good to burn to drive away evil and negativity

it's also not to enhance productivity and cleanses the area that you burn it

in so anytime that I feel like I'm in a funk or not in the best mood or whatever

this is what I like to go to the smell of Dragons wood is very like it reminds

me of cologne and perfume it's a masculine scent and I really love it I

highly recommend if you guys go to Walmart pick it up it's a dollar and it

just uplift your mood instantly as well like all these incense do that for me

the next one I have is by the brand moods and this is one that I picked up

at my local Indian store this was like 2 bucks I'm not sure how many sticks are

in here I think it's like 16 in here but this one is in the ascent of romantic

moments this smells like roses and musk and like Jasmine and patchouli all mixed

together it's a very musky and floral scent mixed together

I love to burn this at nighttime and it just makes my room smell really pretty

next is rosemary I have never come across a rosemary incense I found this

at my local Indian store - this is from the brand AGM hem which is a very famous

incense brand there's 20 sticks in here this has a very fresh rosemary scent I

really like it it's not like overbearing rosemary Irby scent it's like a more of

a fresh floral rosemary burning rosemary purifies the air it prevents nightmares

so this is a really good incense to burn at night right before you head to bed if

good dreams and a good night's sleep so this is one that I would love to burn at

nighttime and rosemary is also known to enhance creativity so if you're like an

artist or you're doing something that involves being creative this is a really

good one to burn just to get your mind in that mindset next we have Jasmine and

this is from the brand Li a which is Leah I think and you get about sixteen

sticks in here I love burning jasmine incense it's very like it's a very

luxurious scent definitely smells really strongly of jasmine this line that

smells really good the one that I got from the 99-cent store it smells very

very similar to this one and so I feel like all jasmine incense are kind of the

same it's a very rich strong Jasmine scent burning jasmine is known to

increase inner beauty it's very uplifting and it's burned to inspire

self-confidence lots of people use it to induce prophetic dreams so it's a really

good one to burn before you go to sleep this is another one that's also used to

purify the room if you're familiar with the goddess Kali

she loves jasmine and so on the days that I just want to like remember her I

think of her I like to light this for her

next I have a dragon's eye incense packet and this is in the scent

tranquility this one smells really good calming and soothing it smells like it

when you walk into an incense shop that's what it smells like it's very

calming and smoothing and warming and inviting dragons I actually went to a

store in Sutter Creek in California and they had the dragon's eye incense over

there and so I grabbed tranquility and I grabbed another one which I'll share

with you guys but I went to checked out their website and they have a lot of

these packets of incense for like $2.99 I think so it's not a bad deal they

smell really really good and the scent lingers in the room for hours so I

really like that nice is one of my favorites is a lavender this is also

from the brand hem and you get like 16 sticks I think and the smells like

lavender it smells like lavender flowers like if you go to Home Depot or Lowe's

or like at nursery and you smell you stick your face in a lavender plant this

is what it smells like lavender incense is known to promote and bring in

calmness it's very relaxing it induces a restful sleep it invokes peacefulness

happiness and tranquility so it's a very calming scent it's very soothing scent

anytime you're feeling anxious or stressed out I think this is a really

good one to burn next I have sandalwood this is another one of my favorites of

course it smells like sandalwood has a very rich like woodsy scent this is from

ganache sticks you can get this at Walmart for like two bucks and you get

26 in here or I've also seen these at Spencer's you can also get them online

sand Allah incense is known for its high vibration this also promotes a restful

sleep it calms down aggression or irritability sandalwood is

associated with promoting healing for the mind body and soul it's a really

good incense to light when you're stressed out it just calls you it

grounds you next I have Egyptian Musk and this is one that smells musky but

not like a heavy musk it's not like a very masculine Musk

it also has a little bit of kind of floral e undertones Egyptian musk is

burnt to increase your own personal willpower it brings wisdom and insights

and it promotes self confidence so this one to me it has a very like magical

scent like it just makes me feel every time I light it I just feel it just

feels magical here's another one that I have from

Dragons I and this is the prosperity one so I'm sure that this one has like bay

leaves yeah this one is very herbal tea this one is another really good one I

love it it's burnt for Prosperity so this next one is bayberry and this is

from serenity Emporium but I got this one for 249 you get like 10 sticks in

here and I got this from my local like incense shop it's like a natural food

shop and they had these incense over there baby it's actually a really good

incense to burn to attract money and blessings it's also burned for

protection it's great to burn to bring in prosperity and luck so this is a

really good one to burn if you have your own

business or in your office next one I have is amber and this is from the brand

flute and I think you get like 20 sticks in here to whatever is another one of my

favorite scents but it's very like it's not floral it is more of like a

masculine scent amber is burned to protect you from bad

energy it promotes happiness and it eliminates negativity from the mind this

is an incense that you can burn for protection and dispelling evil and

negativity bad thoughts of just bad energy but I also feel like this is

another instance when I light when I smell it it's very magical okay so the

last one I have is Shiva and this is from puppy incense you get sixteen

sticks in here I love burning this once in a while

Shiva is a god of destruction he's always in such a tranquil state and it

just teaches me that an uncontrolled mind can lead to a chaotic life so

anytime that I feel like my mind I'm losing control of my mind or my thoughts

are spiraling into negative state or I just even think of Shiva I will light

this for him so I always like to keep these on hand and these smell really

really good they have a musky scent they do smell like the Egyptian must a little

bit of sandalwood mixed in there and a little bit of amber too but this is a

really great one so that is all of my incense that I have I have a lot and I'm

not gonna lie like it's addicting to buy incense all the different flavors the

energies that it gives and the way it purifies the air the way it makes me

feel and I light it I really enjoy them and I love them they've changed my life

in such a positive way and I just wanted to share it with you guys um thank you

Life Update March 2018 ♡ My Fiance Left Me & I Failed School ♡ Hollyann Rose - Duration: 6:56.

yo! what's up? it's time for me to do a life update! a lot has happened within

the last month, and I would love to share it all with you. before I do, I must say,

started the amazing journey of working full-time. I personally have never really

worked 40 hours a week. I've always either been a student and

working part-time, or just straight up working part-time, or just straight up

not working. I'm actually just working two part-time jobs. one of them is

alright. I really like it a lot. I sell supplements. love supplement life. the

other one is okay.... I don't really see myself working there forever, because

it's not really satisfying to my soul or towards the career I would like to

obtain. I found out I didn't graduate from IIN, because one of my stinking

health histories didn't go through. the reason why I didn't really notice before

was because I was always so stressed all the drama with my ex. drama with

constantly having to move every five minutes, when I lived in California. I

never really had time to sit down, and focus on any of my schooling. my fiance

also left me. at first, all this was the end of the world. I couldn't do the

career I wanted to do. the person that I love left me. yeah, I can always go out

and easily get a new guy. but this guy just isn't a guy you can replace. for me,

at least to just sum it up, I always viewed loved as not really being real. it just

seemed to be transferring emotions from one person to the other. something that was

always replaceable. he was the one person that was truly my best friend, and loves

me no matter how weird or gross I looked or acted. This all did put me in a

state of confusion. why would he just leave? Why is my path to doing what I

wanted to career-wise, suddenly blocked off from me? I didn't know what else do,

so I just shut off everything, and I meditated for an alarming amount of

hours straight. during this time, I came to a lot of realizations what my true

intentions were, where I really see myself going, what led me to the downfall

not only with my schooling... what brought the downfall of my current relationship.

as much as I would love my fiancee back, I'm not gonna go spend all my time

begging for him back. he knows I want him back!!! if he truly loves me, he'll

eventually come back, disease-free, without doing anything that would have

upset me. I know why he left. I'm going to use this time to work my bum off, so I

can achieve my career dreams, and do what I wanted to in life. I want to offer the

universe the best version of me possible. I can't do that

moping around going, "why did all this bad stuff happen to me?!" no man, I gotta just

punch myself in the face, and be like, "yo suh dude, get to work. it'll all be okay

soon!" if my fiancee comes back during this time, I would freaking love that! I

would love to have my best friend by my side, during my full metamorphosis. so we

can grow and be stronger together, like a little butterflies!! hoo hoo hoo!! but if he

never wants me back, that just makes me feel like he never loved me. to be honest,

I never really want anything to do with him again. I'm not gonna push him to be

with me right now. I want to focus on myself, for now. true love, soul mates,

however you want to term it.. they always find their way back to each other. so I'm

not worried that he's gonna do something to upset me. if he does, again, that just

means he didn't love me. oh well!! I opened the door up to somebody that actually

does. I'm not gonna go out desperately seeking it right now. I'm not one of

those people that are like, "oh my god! my bed is empty!" um honey! my bed is a

twin size bed!! I want it to be empty, because there's barely enough room for

me!! I'm choosing to look at the bright side of this situation this whole

situation, of everything going wrong. This gives me a chance to really buckle down,

so I can improve myself, completely. I'm not

building a wall around myself. I'm not gonna let pain build a wall around my

heart, cuz you know what? it's going to block the way for my fiance to make his

way back into my heart. don't let others try to tell you you need to build a wall

around yourself. nah man, the right people will not use you. but if you build a wall

around yourself, you will not be able to let the right people in. I started

improving my life in other ways too!!! I started minimizing everything that

didn't benefit me in any way! I unfollowed people that spread nothing

but negativity! by the way, there's a difference between a friend going through a hard

time, and somebody that just plain spreads negativity. I'm sick of my life

feeling weighed down. it reflects on my personal self. it reflects on my work. it

reflects on to the people that I love. even though I'm not anywhere close near

my final destination in life, I'm still quite content with my life.

I feel confident that I am on the path to success! I have zero doubt in myself.

I'm going to make a career out of spreading self-love and healing yourself

and eating good vegan food! I want to show people that no matter the hardships

you go through, you can still come out being a wonderful caring and loving

person. even if you did let the hard times get to you, like I have in the past.

there's still a possibility of changing and learning to love yourself. it took me

almost 24 years of my life to realize all this! so honey, I know it doesn't

happen overnight!!! As for now, yeah, just gonna focus on

schooling, YouTube, working, hanging with friends, blah blah blah. I plan on going

back to California. this is just a universal lesson on teaching me patience,

because I've always been the kind of person that is like, "I want to get

everything done now!" nah man, I do need some patience. all right, I hope that all

made sense for my life update. haha My life is falling apart, and I'm still being optimistic!

Hello and welcome back to the Most Amazing Channel on the internet.

I am your Most Amazing Host Rebecca Felgate and I noticed that you guys loved our video

about the top 10 things that would happen when the Queen of England dies, which of course

is something nobody wants to happen soon, but of course she is getting older and it

is interesting to know what plans are in place.

As a result of the success of that video, we thought we would bring you a Top 10 on

what would happen if and when Donald Trump dies.

Of course the chain of reaction would vary depending on whether or not he was in office

when this happens, as has been the case for 8 other presidents in the past.

First off, let's talk about a few things unrelated to this powerful man's presidency…

10 - The Trump Organization Will be Passed to a New Owner

Donald Trump ran The Trump Organization from 1971 to 2017.

Prior to his presidency, he was first and foremost known for his business holdings.

When he became president, he delegated power to his two oldest sons, Donald Trump Jnr and

Eric Trump, as well as long time CFO Allen Weisselberg.

If Donald Trump died during his presidency, the company is currently set up to run without

him, however he is still the business owner.

If Trump died some time after his presidency finished, then there may need to be some restructuring.

Whatever happens, the company is likely to be kept in the family and taken over by his

sons, and their children thereafter.

9 – Organize the Will Alongside the Trump Organization, which includes

hotels, skate rinks, golf courses and a winery, Donald Trump is the owner of many sailable

assets.

His Net Worth is an estimated 3.1 billion dollars as of February 2018, which makes him

one of the richest businessmen alive.

As and when Donald Trump dies, those named in his will, so presumably his children and

his wife, are set to inherit a fortune.

So, next we are going to talk about a few things that would happen if he died in office,

which hopefully wont happen as it would be very disruptive for the United States, coming

in to number 8, we have a theoretical post assassination scenario…

If the President was assassinated, after officially being declared dead, his body would be flown

in Air Force One to Washingon for an official autopsy.

This caused chaos during president Kennedy's death at the time as Texas state laws demanded

the autopsy be performed in the state of death.

Meanwhile, if the perpetrator wasn't killed, there would be a nationwide manhunt until

they were brought to justice.

As a result of an assassination, Trump would become the 5th sitting president to be murdered

while in office….

Not a title anyone wants.

Regardless of whether or not he was assassinated, if Trump died whilst in office, number 6 would

need to happen immediately – and that is, a new President would be sworn in.

Mike Pence would be immediately called upon to take up the Presidency, as is customary

when Presidents in office die.

When JFK was assassinated, Lyndon B Johnson was sworn in just 2 hours and 8 minutes after

the death of the 35th President.

Again, regardless of whether or not President Trump was assassinated, if he died in office,

number 5 would happen - The United States Would Observe National Mourning

Flags would be flown at half mast around the country, and beyond that, United States flags

would be flown at half mast wherever they were in the world.

In the 1800s, the White House was draped in black fabric to mark the death of President

Garfield, and while this has not happened in a long time, it would not be beyond the

realm of possibility.

The scale of our next point would totally depend on the circumstances surrounding the

death of Donald Trump and whether or not he was in office, or indeed how soon after his

presidency ended that he died….

But at number 4 we have – the news would make international headlines.

If the President was assassinated in the modern day, it would cause an absolute internet melt

down, with all news outlets and social media users rushing to share the news.

An American Presidential death is among one of the most dramatic and politically impactive

events that can happen, so all news sources would cover the event for days.

If Trump died outside of office, it would still make headlines, but the story may not

be as, for want of a better journalistic term, juicy.

Trump is already in his 70s, so his death is statistically likely to come within the

next one or two decades, which is recent enough to make his presidency memorable in peoples

minds when he passes on.

It will be interesting to see how different outlets report on his death.

Next up, regardless of how or when Trump dies, it is likely that he will be buried

3 State Funeral All former presidents, the current president

and the president elect are entitled to a state funeral if they so wish, but it is up

to the discretion of the family of the deceased.

Knowing that President Trump enjoys a bit of fanfare, I can only assume that he would

decide in advance that he would like the full state funeral.

In which case, he may lay in state at the Capitol Rotunda.

His funeral day would likely involve a procession down Pennsylvania Avenue, with the funeral

car travelling at no more than 20 miles per hour.

The event would likely be televised and heads of state from countries across the world would

attend.

2 Burial Following Donald Trump's funeral, there

is the question as to where he would be buried.

Two presidents are buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia and a further two at

the Hollywood Cemetery in Virginia!

In fact, the majority of former presidents are buried in the state of Virgina, however

it seems that Trump has set his sights on a burial plot near one of his Golf courses

in New Jersey.

Finally, at number one of the Top 10 things that will happen when Donald Trump dies, he

will become a chapter in a history book.

For better or for worse, Donald Trump has played a vital role in history – his significance

will only truly be known in hindsight.

Trump's death date will be an important date for the history books that American students

learn for decades or more to come.

So there we have it, there are the Top 10 things that will happen when Donald Trump

dies….

Obviously it is a lot less clear cut that when the Queen dies as she is always in office,

until her dying day.

Increasingly, it's becoming very difficult for me to commit to anything, for that matter.

And I can understand that it is very difficult for people with a schedule to accept it.

It's not going to work for most people.

That's to be very honest with you.

York fairly frequently.

And now, very rarely I go and I have canceled many times.

But now for this event, I have made some sort of a commitment to the people that I would

come.

I wanted to make sure that that it is worth my travel, you know, taking my personal time

out to come and see you.

And that's the most important thing.

I do believe that the live event is certainly far better than a Zoom event or any other

event.

And that that's the literal truth.

So, for now I have committed.

And it is a great time to be there in New York when the Sun has moving into Aries.

And that is really the beginning of the New Year.

The Sun entering into Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac.

And whether those of you who were fortunate to be with me in India for the birthday trip

knew already that I have dropped many of my old teachings.

And I have gotten into new teachings. And that I want to share with you in that live

event where you can get to know where I am and what teachings I am doing.

And I must confess that the teachings that I now know are by by far the most powerful

ones, the most fulfilling ones, as far as I am concerned.

So that I want to share with you -- how you can get into a higher state of Consciousness.

One thing that comes to my mind as I am making this video.

whoa hey guys doing thanks for joining me today

so it's been a crazy busy past few weeks I don't know about for you

guys but it's been just hectic I don't know something about the time of year I

guess. I started this new project which I cannot wait to share with you guys so

far I've got like a hundred and thirty six clips 136 different steps 136

different camera angles and I'm still not even close to being done with the

project yet

oh man I'm super excited about sharing this new project with you guys - by the

way cuz it's one of those kind of projects that I feel like you know you

probably have never seen anything like it before

in fact I've searched all around trying to find something similar to it but you

know I haven't been able to find anything like it and I'm certainly

hoping that it's gonna be an awesome video of course all the videos we hope

we're gonna be awesome huh I've been super busy okay super busy

here look at this mess check out this mess up and make in there so I got to

take this little road trip this past week on Monday did you know that there

was a maker meetup going on I didn't know it either until after I watched

Jimmy the rest of this vlog video where he said he was gonna be in Cleveland

Ohio and Lincoln Electric was hosting a maker meetup event as soon as I heard

that there was something going on man I was scouring the internet trying to find

any information that I could find so I ended up sending the tweet out to Jimmy

to find out what was going on with this event to see how long he was gonna be in

Cleveland Ohio and thanks to Brian Prusa who provided me with the information

about the event I found out that not only was Jimmy Diresta gonna be there

but Izzy swan was gonna be there Laura Kampf is gonna be there April

Wilkerson and many others so I couldn't pass up an opportunity like this to hang

out with such great people especially since it was so close to home

so yesterday I said

well if you couldn't tell the lighting in there was pretty horrible as far as I

was concerned it was way too loud so that was all the video and managed to

capture for the evening which in a way is actually a good thing because if

you're too busy trying to document the experience then the odds are yes you're

probably not really experiencing the experience and to me it's far more

important to create good memories than it is to create good videos overall I

have to say it was a really awesome experience and great to meet so many

fellow makers well that's gonna be it for this one thanks everybody for

It can get kind of complicated but that's exactly what Aaron asked me when he said "The

I used to like her friend so does that change how I approach her?".

It can get kind of tricky like I said but there is a way to navigate these type of situations

and I'll share how to do it right after this.

For those of you that are new here, my name is Josh and every single Monday through Friday

I make videos sharing tips, ideas and stories teaching you how to be your best self.

And when it comes to approaching your ex-crush's friend, you're in for a lot.

Part of the problem here is that you're double dipping into one friend group.

If you used to like one person in the group and now you like the other friend, that can

create a bit of tension between the two of them.

Now if your ex-crush is someone you liked and pursued but it just didn't work out for

you, it only make sense that you're ready to move on from them but by going so close

that you're going to their friend, it can make them feel like "wow this person is just

going from person to person".

And if they start to feel that way, it'll definitely have an impact on how you pursue

your new crush because obviously, friends talk so you old crush is going to tell your

new crush "Hey, this guy used to like me and now he's moved on to you".

And just like that this new crush decides "Man, this guy is a player and I don't want

to get with him" and your chances are ruined so how do you prevent all of that from happening

exactly?

Well, I think before you openly pursue your new crush, you want to try to befriend your

old crush.

Have them see you as a friend and start interacting with them and treating them like one too.

When you talk to your old crush, really establish the fact that you see them as a friend.

Even drop some things in there like "I really value your friendship", "I think you're a

really cool friend and I'm really happy to know you".

By saying and doing things like that, they'll start to see that yea, maybe at one point

you did like them but it evolved into a friendship and a friendship that they really respect.

So they're not going to do anything to sabotage or hurt your chances with someone else.

Hopefully, they'll see that you're not a player moving from girl to girl here and that you're

just someone who's genuinely trying to find someone that you really like.

Ok?

Cool.

Old crush disarmed for the moment, now you have to worry about your new crush thinking

that man, you used to like my friend and now you like me?

Why would I want to get with you?

That's a tough one to work with because even with your old crush on your side as your friend

now your new crush might feel like wow, you didn't choose me first, you didn't like me

first, I'm kinda just the second choice here.

So how do you get them out of that mindset?

Honestly, I would say the best way to do it is to show a genuine interest in them as a

person.

Let them know that you want to know what their hobbies are, what they do for fun, what they

like, what they dislike and what they do after school so maybe potentially one day you can

hang out with them.

Maybe, in the beginning, those thoughts and feelings of you jumping from crush to crush

will be there for them but as time goes on they'll start to see that you genuinely like

them and want to get to know them, and that's all that matters.

Just try to be as honest as you can be, if your new crush asks you if you used to have

feelings for your old crush, say "Yea, I thought I did but we're better off as friends.

I realized over time that I actually like you and I want to get to know you better."

If you say that you're kind of clearing the slate and letting it be known that hey, you

are all about them now.

To locate these citations at Odum Library, it can be helpful to know if it's a journal,

book, or other format.

Citation style guides will treat each format differently.

Can you spot the differences?

In CSE, books will have publisher names and publisher location.

Journal article citations will include information like volume and issue of the journal that

the article is in.

In CSE, depending on the length of the journal title, it can be abbreviated.

Compare Lancet and Endocrine Pathology.

If you are unsure what the abbreviation is,

ask a librarian or, if you're in a rush, you can try Googling.

Book chapters may resemble an article because there are two titles listed - the chapter title

as well as the book title.

However, the presence of a publisher and editor suggest it's a chapter in a book.
