Youtube daily report Mar 8 2018

Our solar system has no shortage of liquid water.

In addition to it hallmarking earth, it's also thought to potentially exist in multiple

other bodies in the solar system locked under ice shells.

The most famous examples of this are Europa and Enceladus.

Both have periodically been in the news lately because unlike some places, such as proxima

B, the chances for life potentially being present in the oceans of these moons are solidly

on the rise.

In general, we hear most about Europa.

At first sight, it seems to edge out Enceladus as a possible abode of life.

The main reason for this is that It appears to be significantly older than Enceladus,

as old as the solar system itself, whereas Enceladus could be a relatively recently formed

body, as little as a hundred million years ago, though this is not yet settled.

If young, however, is that enough time for life to have arisen?

The first step in answering this question was to determine if Enceladus' waters are

habitable at all.

Recent studies of plumes of water spraying into space from cracks in Enceladus' ice,

see my video on that topic in the end screen of this video, suggest that it is, with evidence

of active geology in the form of volcanic ocean vents, possibly very much like those

of earth, which are hotbeds for life on this world.

That evidence came in the form of silicates present in the plumes.

Also present were organics, and lots and lots of water.

But intriguingly, there were two other chemicals.

Molecular hydrogen, which hydrothermal vent action is a solid candidate for the source

of, and methane.

Methane also can be produced by hydrothermal vents, but it's also noteworthy for being

one of the chemical signatures of life.

But could microbes live under the conditions present in Enceladus oceans?

As it turns out, at least one earth microbe could.

In a paper by Ruth-Sophie Taubner and colleagues, link in the description below, they detail

that earth microbes known as methanogenic archaea might be suited for an Enceladus hydrothermal

vent environment.

This group of microbes play a prominent role here on earth and they could be among the

oldest classes of lifeform.

They typically do not deal well with oxygen, so instead of O2, they use molecular hydrogen,

H2, and carbon dioxide to produce methane.

The researchers determined that the actual geologic process that creates the H2 on enceladus,

serpentization of olivine, could produce enough hydrogen for this kind of life.

They continue on to say that they identified a specific methanogen, Methanothermococcus

okinawensis, that could live on Enceladus, as we understand the conditions of its ocean.

More, if a similar, but alien, microbe is living on Enceladus, it could hypothetically

be producing some of the methane observed in the plumes.

But, of course, since methane can be produced geologically, this is not definitive.

Sample return mission needed.

But ultimately it still goes back to the question of whether life has had enough time at Enceladus

to arise at all.

No one knows, for two reasons.

First the actual age of Enceladus hasn't yet been well constrained.

If it is indeed a young body, life would have had to arise very rapidly, as soon as the

conditions were right.

Reason number two is that we don't yet have a complete picture of just what the genesis

of life looks like or what those exact conditions might be for it to occur.

But we do know that organic chemical reactions can happen very rapidly.

Perhaps so much so that as soon as the conditions are right, microbial life arises anywhere

it can as fast as it can and the universe could be teeming with simple life.

How that life develops from simple to complex, or even intelligent, is a matter of circumstance,

but from our own planet we know that great things can happen under the right conditions.

Thanks for listening!

I am futurist and science fiction author John Michael Godier currently eyeing a tomato suspiciously

and coining the term retribution salad.

It was all fun and games for the anaerobes until the plants showed up and oxygenated

everything.

And if that wasn't bad enough, then they went on to enslave higher organisms that evolved

through oxygen dependency.

For the love of corn, look at the herbivores!

How sad is that?

Concert Photography / Molotov & Los Tigres del Norte - Duration: 8:59.

This is going to be a great video, Ill be showing you how to take pictures in a concert.

Ill be giving some tips to shoot

Today, Molotov and Los Tigres del Norte will be playing!

Hey! whats going on?My name is Neto Velasco, im a photographer and graphic designer

I am from Mexico but living now in Los Angeles

concert photography is one of the most dificult type of photography but one of the most interesting

I Love concert photography because you never know

whats going to happen

when you attend a concert you realize how the lights

changes from one second to the other

they throw green lights, and blue lights and sometimes fire explosions

as a photographer

you do not know whats going to happen next

you do not know when the lights going to change

its very difficult

to change the setting in your camera that fast

settings as your speed and F stop

but that makes it very interesting

because it is there that you realize

how well you know your camera

I am very excited

to have the opportunity to shoot both bands

Ido not know if I will be able to shoot los tigres del norte

because you never know what can happen, ok, let me give you some tips

before we start saying anything else

when you go shoot a concert you need to be

very nice to everyone, humble and always saying thank you

to every person in the venue and that you interact with

with security, with the people that hand you the press pass

why?because we need to be nice people and you never know

if you will need their help that same day, all venues

are different, some have a special section for photographers

or smaller venues you will not find a special section for photographers

if there is no space for photographers it will be a little bit more complicated

because you will need to get to the front of the venue

in order to snap some pictures of the band

when you shoot bigger venues

theres a special section between the stage and the public where you can stay

all concerts Ive shot in the past, they allow us to shoot for only 3 songs

I have to be in the venue one hour earlier before the show starts,

and for this type of events you don't want to

be late because you have no idea where to pick up your press pass

or if there is going to be an issue

normally they have your name in their list and everything goes smooth

but anyways, you never want to be late

now im going to pick up the shoes ill be wearing tonight

every morning the most difficult part for me is

to choose my shoes for the day

today is no exception, you want comfortable shoes

because you will be standing up and moving a lot in the concert

so let's choose what shoes to wear for tonight!

I chose this ones

bought them about a week ago, they are one of my favorites

so let's wear these

I don't really like that my shoes look

very white, normally I wear

black clothes

so I think these are not black enough

so I found this paint in my art supply and

let's see what I can do about the color of my shoes

I think they look better no?

with no more distractions, I am going to start

packing my bag

everything fits in this bag, I do not like

bigger bags

this bag will be perfect, it is an incase bag specifically for photographers

and you have three compartments

perfect for your camera and lenses

something very important Im going to take is:

this fanny pack

when you are shooting concerts

you need to change lenses very fast, so

I do not care if I look like a nerd with this

but it works perfect to put the lenses here

its a product Ihighly recommend to have in every shoot

a fanny pack can save your life

arriving to the concert, I headed to will call, because normally that is where

they will have the press pass for you

thinking they already had my name in their system

and they did, but only gave me one general ticket with NO press pass!

I called Molotov's manager and he assured me it was a mistake

but he couldn't go outside to give me

the press pass tickets

because Molotov was going to play in five minutes

so with the ticket they left me I went inside

went all the way downstairs

called the manager and he said: perfect! ill bring you the passes

he gave me the passes, I went back to get my gear

because they did not let me get it inside the venue with no press pass

So I only had one song to shoot from the 3 they normally let the press shoot

because I wasted that time with the press pass situation but other than that everything went perfect

with only one song to shoot I took a bunch of pictures and

had a lot of material

as you can see the fanny pack is saving my life

right now im just waiting for the main band "Tigres del norte"

they will be playing in this stage behind me

and let's see how it goes!

so the main question here is:

how can you get press passes and work in a concert

to be able to shoot in a concert

you need a good portfolio

in music photography and in order to have a good portfolio

you need to be taking pictures

I recommend shooting smaller bands in smaller venues

in your city and local venues

ask for permission to the venue

and tell them you can trade them good high quality pictures

if you allow me to get my pro camera inside the concert and shoot the bands, that way

you can get practice and a good portfolio

you can go to bigger venues

one thing I always do is search what bands are coming to my city and

I get in touch with the band manager

it is very difficult to find the managers email but

you can find anything online

the show is over, had the opportunity to shoot all three songs of Tigres del Norte

and one song for Molotov

now I have to go home and edit the pictures

thank you for watching this video

#104 - How to Create a Money Abundance Mindset with Kerry Dutton - Duration: 16:30.

- [Kerry] It's no good having an empty wallet.

Always carry money.

- [Nicole] Go see Kerry, she'll fill your wallet.

- There's nothing nicer than opening your wallet

and you're like, "Ah! AHH!"

- Money!

- Surprise!

- So even if you use your credit card to pay for things

- Definitely

- Just make sure, every time you open up your wallet

- Have that

- Woo! Money!

- Have that, "Ohh!" Hello, money.

- Wasn't it Tony Robins that did something like that?

- Mmm

- He didn't have any money and was really struggling,

was finished, like really really in a bad space.

And I think he had one note in his wallet,

I can't remember what it was.

- Yeah.

- It might have been a hundred bucks or something.

- Yes.

- And it was just to shift that mindset around.

I need to see money, money is all around me.

- Yep.

- Money is here, I have money.

- Yep.

I like to sometimes put it under my pillow.

- Hmm.

- Hmm.

It's a good way of you like, setting yourself up,

for like, "I'm gonna just think abundantly and

sleep on my money."

- Ooh I like that.

- Welcome to the "Hot and Healthy Show," conversations

that change the way women work and live.

I'm your host Nicole van Hattem, holistic health coach,

TEDx speaker, and best selling author.

And it is my pleasure to introduce you to Kerry Dutton,

chartered accountant, Money Mindshift Mentor,

and international award-winning entrepreneur.

Our topic today is how to create a money abundance mindset.

Welcome to the show, Kerry.

- Thanks Nicole!

Very excited.

- Me too.

Cuz money just gets me hot under the collar,

it doesn't get me hot and healthy.

- Look, money, really for me inspires

a lot of action and passion, so I'm so excited

to be here today to really share

some of that with you and your guests.

- So you were, well you were,

you still are a chartered accountant.

How did you get into money mindshift mentoring,

and what is that?

- Well look, I've been a chartered accountant

for over 15 years, and I realized when I hit a certain point

that I actually had my ladder up against the wrong building.

- Mmmm

- And I decided that I am such a futuristic person,

I'm very innovative, creative, and I have a passion

to help women break through that glass ceiling.

So I started my mentor business to help women like you,

like everyone around to really get clear about money

and get confidence about their value.

- Yeah, I like that, confident about their value.

Do you find that women in business

tend to undervalue their value?

- Absolutely, like money mindset is one of the

cool issues I've found in just about

everyone I've worked with, it doesn't matter what stage

of business you're in, there's always something

potentially holding you back, and I've found that

a lot of it has to do with how

you step into your femininity as a woman.

- Hmm, I like that.

How could not being in our feminine energy impact

our ability to have money abundance?

- Well I see, especially coming from corporate,

in corporate, you operate a lot in your masculine.

And what you do, in doing that as a woman,

you actually give up, you might be very successful,

but you risk being unsuccessful in your personal life.

And as women, we tend to operate

quite a few different roles.

So, it's really beneficial for us to step into

femininity and embrace our gifts and our talents,

and really embrace who we are as a woman.

And understand the value we do have.

- So, in addition to, let's talk about beliefs or

patterns and mindsets that women may have in business

or in their private lives that might be

getting in the way of having money abundance.

What have you noticed with your clients?

- For one, I've noticed a lot of women

associate money with greed.

So, it's probably likely due to early childhood,

where you know, where money mindset wasn't really practiced

in the home, and so the greed component is really

important for us to understand that money is actually

a reflection of the value you contribute to someone else.

So when you can reframe it that way,

it's not a negative viewpoint of treating money.

It's actually you, as a woman, giving value to someone else;

in return, for a reward.

- So it's a form of exchange.

- Yes.

- So, rather than getting hooked on maybe some of

the negative associations with money, the paper stuff,

money the coin, money the amount or the figure

in your bank account, it's reframing it and seeing,

having a different relationship with it.

Okay, so what are some of the ways that we talk to ourselves

in unsupportive ways when it comes to money?

So you mentioned one, which is money associated with greed.

- Greed, yes.

Also, another key mindset block,

is money makes people feel uncomfortable.

- Having it or not having it?

- So having it or not having it.

So having lots of money, if you haven't grown

your money mindset, you will quickly spend it.

To get back to your comfort zone.

If you have no money, you tend to fall into the spiral

of negative self talk as well.

So it's really important for us to develop confidence

around money and our ability to feel comfortable with money.

And a lot of that comes down to

understanding how money works and how you can plan,

and how money can help you grow a business.

So, treating it with respect and treating it

with enough focus and planning will help you step

through and become more comfortable

with money, and how to treat it.

- So our childhood gives us certain beliefs around,

or gives us the mindset associated with money.

So the belief that it's hard to get, or it makes

you greedy, or it's dirty to want it, or that it

comes with pain or sacrifice; have you met clients

who have a really positive association with money?

So they have a really healthy mindset around money.

- I have seen some clients who

have really good sort of traits around money,

they will put 10% aside in their bank account

as a just a standard how they operate.

I have spoken to others who actually leave money

lying around their house; so money is around,

money is abundant.

Having cash in your wallet is a good thing.

So, these days, when we operate with a cashless society,

it's actually a negative thing for our mind.

So, I encourage you to go and get cash out of the bank,

have the physical money in your hand, and get really

clear about, I actually have a lot of coins around me,

and I teach my child, at the moment, to associate

working for things with reward.

So, I think that starts at an early age.

And my son is five years old and he has a wallet

with coins that he is saving for buying toys

or buying new things.

- Have you noticed even with him at five, that he has

some associations with money, some mindset,

which might be limiting, even at that age?

- I work quite hard with him around abundance of money,

that if you don't have enough you just need

to do more tasks, and the harder work you do,

the more reward you get.

So, so understanding that as well.

For entrepreneurs, the message is, focusing

less on the results and more on your actions

will help you break through that sort of limiting belief,

because you're not looking at the money in the bank,

you're actually looking at your daily actions

and what you're achieving; the action and the momentum.

And that's what will let the money flow.

So, that is quite a powerful change in mindset

that can help any entrepreneur today,

to focus on their daily actions.

- Nice.

So, actions equals momentum, rather

than focusing on the result.

- On the result, yes.

- Okay, so couple of good tips there.

One is leave money lying around the house,

then invite me over; just kidding.

Make sure you've got cash, physical cash in your wallet

not just the cards.

- Yes.

- Don't keep checking your bank balance.

- Mhmm.

- Focus on actions versus

- Reward.

- Results.

- Or results, yes.

- Change the association in your mind that

money does not equal greed or anything negative;

just check in with those conversations you have

with yourself and change the conversation.

- Yep.

- What else can we do?

- I like to think of planning being

a very important component.

Some people operate on, just like myself,

I am quite a competitive person

and I operate and I focus on the end result.

So, a lot of entrepreneurs, if they can work out

what is their ideal life, and how much money

would that need to bring into their lives monthly,

and then work backwards to what actions they need

to do to create the result.

That's a great empowering way of view

to work backward from a planning, from your big goals,

from your vision board, from that big vision,

right back to your daily actions.

And that's how I operate.

I actually create my result by working backwards

and creating the actions that need to happen.

- Right, so you mentioned something key there,

which is having a vision, having a vision board.

- Big vision

- So what is it that I want, where am I going,

then deciding what are the actions that are required

to be done on a consistent basis for you to take

the steps in the direction of your vision board.

- Exactly; and that all comes down to

big visions in the beginning.

I mentor my clients to set a vision, and then to double it.

Because we all have that limiting belief, again,

that comes into play when we set our first vision.

So whatever vision you set, whether it's a money vision,

a holiday vision, think about how you can double that vision

to make it extremely exciting.

Because only with a very exciting vision will you

get past procrastination and past those blocks

to really step into your zone.

That's when you will cut out the administration,

all the other actions that are just keeping you busy,

and you focus on the really important passion.

And for me, that's the biggest thing.

Step one is to double your goal.

And step two is actually work backwards to correct the plan.

- Okay great, double my goal.

- Double your goal.

- I'll show you my goal, you can tell me if I can double it.

- I do, I have made you double your goal.

- She's amazing.

I did some work with Kerry, just as an aside.

Well not as an aside,

it's a really important part of this.

I had an association that success, and particularly

financial success and financial abundance equal death.

And I'll explain that.

So in my past life as a corporate executive,

I was very successful and I was earning a lot of money.

But I also had

I was fat, and my body hurt, and my mind was overwhelmed

with stress and my relationships were really struggling.

So I had lots of money, "abundance,"

but I didn't have life abundance.

So when Kerry and I sat down,

one of the first things we had to do was

"What's your goal? Okay, let's double it."

That's an easy one.

But the more difficult one was,

what are the mental associations that I had around money.

And it took a little bit of time, but the realization

that money abundance meant that I was working really hard

and I would lose the things that

were really important to me, needed to be shifted

before I could attract more of what I truly desired.

Which was an abundance of money so that I could influence

and serve and take care and nourish all the things

that were really important to me.

I will challenge you; can I do that?

- Absolutely!

- One of the things you said was that,

the harder you work the more money you make.

- No, I said, I was just about to say that I actually

help women to step into their genius

and create a business from a niche.

So what that means is you actually look at yourself

and you pull out those core values of

how I love to unpack and create.

So if I can work in my business and be in my

genius zone, and help create a business for others

and inspire others, that's where I contribute more value.

So then I step into a niche business.

So I've niched with woman.

And when you niche yourself in a business like that,

you can charge a higher value because you're giving

greater results, which means you work less

and you love everything about the work you do.

- Absolutely.

So getting into your genius zone.

What if somebody says, "I've got really big goals,

I'm really good at taking action, I've got great plans,

I think I've got the right mindset;

how do I find my genius zone?"

- The first point I would sort of look at

is what are you giving away for free?

So what're people coming to you,

asking you for a bit of help with

that you're quite happy to give away for free,

because you enjoy doing it anyway?

And I realized quite early on, that was me

unpacking a cash flow, doing a business 12 month

cash flow projection, I can knock that up quite easily.

And I realized that I was actually giving away my gift

for free; and that was so valuable, and it gave others

really good direction in their business.

And now I've realized that that's part

of what value I can provide.

- And so do you work with female entrepreneurs

to help them unpack their genius,

and turn it into a business?

- Yes, yes.

So I work with women to unpack their signature program,

and work with them to really work out what their gifts are,

what their experience is, and what they love to do

and we create a business around that.

- Fantastic, so if you want to know more about that,

where can they get ahold of you?

- Well, I have a Facebook page called

"Kerry Dutton, The Money Strategist" and I also

have a website, so you can reach me on there

or you can email me on info@think180degrees.com.au

- And I'll put some links here with the video.

I have a couple of surprise questions for you.

- Fantastic, love it!

- What keeps you awake at night?

- I have really big visions, and one of my big visions

is, I actually love wine, so I run another wine group,

a social group, and my big vision is to be

on a huge property with a winery with my family riding

horses, and running retreats from that property,

and going global with an academy.

So that big vision, which I've doubled and tripled

is something that excites me, and something that allows

me to contribute, because I love to educate, and I love

to see people succeed and do things with a new perspective.

- And you're very very good at that, from my own

personal experience and the people I know

that have worked with you as well.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

- Coffee.

(both laugh)

No, I love working with my clients.

I've got clients all around Australia,

I love to fly to them, I love them to fly to me.

I get up in the morning because I have

the flexibility in my life in

creating my lifestyle the way I want.

So I have time with my family, when and whichever I like.

I can take holidays and I can work from anywhere.

So that's what gets me up in the morning, knowing where

I came from corporate and how structured it was,

and how now I've been able to create my lifestyle

and have an amazing, successful business.

- Fantastic.

So if you're interested in overcoming any limiting

money mindset beliefs that you have get in touch with Kerry.

I'll put some links in the website, nicolevanhattem.com

so you can access what she has to offer.

And I'm so grateful you came on the show.

- Thank you, it's been a pleasure.

About Improvisation - Duration: 10:33.

ever wondered why some people seem to have a gift for music have you ever

wished that you could play by ear sing in tune improvise and jam you're in the

right place time to turn those wishes into reality

welcome to the Musicality Podcast with your host Christopher Sutton hello and

welcome to the first in a series of episodes on the topic of improvisation

we are celebrating improvisation month here at Musical U with the release of

new training modules and a full roadmap to help our members learn to improvise

and here on the podcast we have some terrific interviews lined up with

artists and educators who can be sharing deep insights on the topic of

improvisation I've been looking forward to this for a while and the team has

been hard at work pulling it all together for a fantastic improv focused

month we've actually been helping members learn to improvise in various

ways since the start of musical you and that's because whether or not you intend

to improvise in the traditional sense learning improvisation skills is central

to all your musicality so don't tune out if you're thinking that improvising is

just for jazz musicians or that you never intend to play a solo onstage

improvising is fundamentally just about having creative freedom in music being

able to come up with a musical idea in your head and bring it out into the

world and what musician doesn't want to have the freedom and confidence to do

that today I wanted to kick off our improv themed podcast episode by talking

about how to think about improvisation because there are various schools of

thought and approaches you'll find out there and if you follow the wrong

approach then learning to improvise can be pretty frustrating and it can

reinforce a lot of those wrong assumptions about what improvising means

pulling you away from that true essence that improvising is about bringing your

own musical ideas out into the world simple as that so I'd like to share with

you the way we explain improvisation in our approaching improvisation module

inside musical you first though let's talk briefly about the three most common

approaches to improvising and why they typically don't work well the first way

is what I'd call learning vocabulary this is particularly

popular in the jazz world and the idea is that you learn to improvise by

mimicking the licks riffs and runs of famous jazz musicians you learn their

phrases and you build up your stock of improv vocabulary you have a set of

licks you know work over a dominant chord ones which follow a two five one

progression ones that work in a bebop style and so on and when the time comes

to improvise you pick a phrase or two from your

learned vocabulary and that's your solo well from the way I've described it and

the way I talked about the essence of improvising a minute ago you can

probably see the downside here you're not really coming up with your own

musical ideas it's a bit like just memorizing a phrase book when you go to

visit a foreign country versus actually learning to speak the language now don't

get me wrong there is absolutely value in studying the grades and we've talked

previously on this podcast about the benefits of transcribing solos by ear

but if this is the only way you approach improvising you will ultimately feel

very limited and not really experience any of the true creative freedom which

improv should be about okay so the second common method then is a notch

better this one is particularly popular with blues rock and jazz guitarists

because of the easy connection to fretboard scale patterns and the method

is to learn some rules about what notes work when and then essentially choose

your notes at random with the right scale to match the chord progression and

a bit of expressive playing like string bends and good use of dynamics this can

actually sound pretty good and if you learn to connect with the underlying

chords something we'll be talking about later in improv month it can sound quite

musical the drawback of this method is that it's improvisation by numbers you

are kind of at an improvisation robot pairing a set of rules with a random

number generator and hoping that the result sounds good this is the way I

improvised back when I was playing guitar and it was exciting because I was

creating something myself but I always felt a bit fraudulent with it because I

never knew how it would sound until I played it so I didn't really feel like

it was truly my creation so this method works and you can go quite far with it

but again it kind of cheats you out of the true essence of improvising where

you imagine what you want to create and then bring it out into the world for

others to hear the final method worth mentioning is the brute force do it and

do it until it works approach jazz musicians would call this shedding where

you go into the woodshed and you just play and play and play until gradually

your brain mysteriously learns a deep connection with your instrument and then

you can improvise on instinct this is the romantic story of how great jazz

musicians learned to improvise and it does sound a lot cooler than saying that

they studied the theory memorized phrases and made careful use of scales

and patterns but clearly there are two big problems here the first is that it

is a recipe for boredom and frustration with no structured path to follow

you have no idea if you're making progress or if you're learning as

effectively as you could be and once you do gain some ability to improvise on

instinct it's an incredibly risky endeavor if you

don't understand how you do what you do it's always going to be quite

nerve-wracking to improvise because you're trusting an instinctive ability

that could fail at any moment so those are the three most common methods for

learning to improvise to memorize vocabulary to follow strict rules and

patterns or to just play and play and play and hope that you mysteriously gain

the instinct for improv each of these gets you some way towards true

improvisation and each can be useful as part of learning to improvise but

hopefully you'll agree that none of them sound exactly in line with what

improvisation is truly about so how do you learn to improvise freely at musical

you we teach that true improvisation is essentially playing by ear what you

imagine in your mind the idea being that you can at any time imagine something

you'd like to create in music and then you have the play by ear skills to take

that sound you imagine in your mind and play it on your instrument for others to

hear and the process of learning to improvise is

at its core very similar to the process of learning to play by ear that's why

we've already been able to help our members with improvising even though

it's only this month we're launching a full improv roadmap because we've had a

set of solid and extensive play by ear training since day one that said there

are definitely some things which make improvising different to playing by ear

hence the need for some new training modules on a road map and I'd like to

share a few of them with you now so you have a sense of how this approach to

learning to improvise can work the first cool concept is the one I just mentioned

improvisation is about connecting three things or d--ation meaning you imagine

music in your head listening and playing is the combination of those three that

create a free improviser and although in time you won't need to consciously think

through what you want to play before you play it while you're learning it's

really helpful to be mindful of these three separate components and work on

each of them the second big concept is to use constraints and dimensions to

create musical playgrounds for practicing improvisation a constraint

might be something like the scale you're going to use or a particular rhythmic

pattern the dimensions are then everything else that you're free to vary

and experiment with and the combination of constraints and dimensions creates a

little playground where you can freely try things out in the safe knowledge

that whatever you play will still sound pretty good we found that this provides

a really great way for beginners to start improvising in a truly free and

ear guided way without it sounding like a random mess of notes or being so

tightly rule-based that there's no real creativity the third big concept is our

framework of play listen and listen play this is a great way to start building up

those brain ear instrument connections in a creative way it's too much to

really go into now but maybe we'll invite Andrew from the team on to a

future episode to share a bit more about how this works or of course you can

check out the approaching improvisation module inside musical you for full

details on everything I've been talking about so that's how we

and thinking about improvisation it's not about memorizing other people's

phrases it's not about strictly and carefully

following music theory rules and it's not about blindly playing at random and

hoping that years later something will click and you'll have a magical instinct

for improv improvisation is about developing your musical ear to the point

where you can take anything you imagine or want to create from your mind's ear

out into the world it's the heart of creative freedom in music and whether

you use it for traditional on-the-spot improvisation like a rock guitar or

which has saxophone solo will you use it as the basis to start writing songs or

composing will you become a fully fledged improvisational artist like

Steve Larson our resident provo bass whose entire career is based on improv

however you want to make use of improvisation it is an ability that

every musician deserves to enjoy as part of their musical life I hope this

episode has given you some fresh ideas for what learning improv could look like

for you stay tuned for our next episodes coming up in improv month for plenty

more inspiration and guidance for your improvisational journey thank you for

Arie Luyendyk Jr.: I Filmed My Bachelor Breakup So Becca Kufrin Could Be The Bachelorette

The Bachelors Arie Luyendyk Jr. did himself no favors by having his breakup with Becca Kufrin filmed for TV, but he thinks he did his ex-fiance one.

I really wanted everyone to know that this was on me, Arie told Michael Strahan on Good Morning America.

This was my fault, and I felt like filming that would let people know that, that if there were any questions on the breakup, those would be squashed if they saw the breakup.

And I wanted her that opportunity, honestly, I wanted her that opportunity to be the potential Bachelorette. It worked?

Becca is the next star of The Bachelorette, she met five of her suitors during the second part of The Bachelor finale after she came face-to-face with Arie for the first time since their on-screen breakup.

Arie said he hoped their encounter game her closure.. Im very happy for her. Im happy that shes going to be able to find her true love through the show, he said.

Arie got engaged to runner-up Lauren Burnham following his breakup with Becca. He and Lauren have been together since January and he said its going well for the two of them.

This ending obviously wasnt perfect and I know it was difficult for a lot of people to swallow, but Im happy, he said.

WHY AM I HERE? | Hassanain Rajabali | English Subtitles | - Duration: 2:42.

But the first level is to ask who am I?

Why am I here? What's my goal in life? You know how many people don't bother to discuss that?

You see them doing the dumbest things, using the foulest languages.

You find them running for the most mundane

material things in life. You're looking at them like are you serious you really...

"Yeah my dream is to have that

and I'll kill to have it!" I said that's it thats your dream - that's what you've concluded

your purpose in this

short world that you're living in - this short life. You know how short this life is?

If you're 90 years of age - which is a long period,

90, 90 years - this old person - 30 years of the 90 years the person was sleeping.

You're left with sixty. Thirty of those sixty

you're busy working. You're left with thirty years.

If you and I live to be ninety! Most people don't live to be ninety.

The average lifespan is seventy. So bring it down to twenty years.

You mean I pursued all these dreams for twenty years?

And if I ask you for those twenty years - give me a video tape of what is your most

profound moments in life,

maybe 100 hours? 200 hours? You mean this world was only worth 200 hours for me?

Allah (SWT) says yeah, [Holy Quran Quote]

You love this world the hereafter is what's forever!

You're fooling yourselves into thinking something's important here. But when a person needs

to sit down and say yes.

What's? Why am I here? You know I speak in universities

I get non-Muslim audiences, after my lecture you see youth come to me

say "Wow never thought this way!"

You're right. I say look,

I'm not here to proselytize - I'm not here to make you Muslim. I'm here to wake you up.

You choose your own way. You're smart enough.

You are sharp enough. You know! You have been planted with some of the greatest gifts you can ever imagine,

and I'm here to strike them, and you strike me too.

Let's wake each other up. There is a purpose in this life.

The guy says to me: "you're right". I say take account.

"Yatlu aleyhim ayaati" - look in the skies - what's all this for? Why is all this happening?

What is all this signs? Why do people behave the way they do?

Observation, basic observation will lead us to so much understanding

That's why the prophet says {Quotation}

"The one who knows himself will know his Lord."

Indeed - that's first.

After Chelsea Clinton Bashes Trump & His Family, She Wakes To A Surprise - Duration: 37:56.

After Chelsea Clinton Bashes Trump & His Family, She Wakes To A Surprise

Chelsea Clinton recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to bash President

Donald Trump and his family.

Now, she's getting a brutal surprise that she didn't expect.

President Donald Trump (left), Chelsea Clinton (right) (Photo Credits: YouTube/The Tonight

Show/The Late Show) According to Daily Caller, Chelsea Clinton

appeared as a guest on CBS' The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday, March 5, 2018,

where Colbert practically lobbed up verbal softballs for her to swing at.

Chelsea's performance was unimpressive and lacked any genuine conviction as she nodded

through most of her insults.

In an attempt to be witty, Colbert started out by saying that he thinks Chelsea's family

has a "particularly unique relationship emotionally to the fact that Donald Trump

is President of the United States."

I wonder how long Colbert worked on that humorless dig.

Following his loaded comment, Colbert gave Chelsea the floor to mumble about her parents,

her hatred for President Trump, and her lost friendship with Ivanka Trump.

Chelsea Clinton bashed our President when she answered Colbert's question about how

her family talks about Trump.

"Well, goodness, um," she stumbled before adding, "We just talk about what should

we be doing today, which organizations and candidates should we be supporting."

She continued, "How do we both stand in opposition to the degradations of norms and

institutions as well as the retrograde policies around voting rights, around women's rights,

around transgendered rights, and what do we do to keep pushing forward for the world that

both my parents have been working on since before I was born and that I'm really eager

to help build for my children, for your children, for future generations."

Chelsea then took aim directly at Trump, saying, "Because, as you noted, the President, I

think, thrives on anxiety and insults, there's just always so much to talk about.

Because, I think, unfortunately, this administration is the collision of cruelty and incompetence,

there's so much to just talk about, what's happening even beyond the President and Washington

on any given day."

Chelsea Clinton reminds me of the kid who people feel sorry for at a birthday party

when she can't hit the pinata so they take off her blindfold and hold the target still

in order for her to get a few whacks in on it.

Watching her interview with Colbert is cringeworthy and even a little irritating at the same time.

How on earth can Chelsea Clinton sit there and accuse President Trump of being driven

by "anxiety and insults" when her own mother is looked upon by many in both political

parties as the queen of the damned?

Amongst other things that Chelsea said about Trump and his family, she said that Ivanka

Trump was "fair game" when it comes to criticism from the public.

I think Chelsea needs a brutal reality check, and thankfully, several Twitter users agreed.

The Twitter user "DeplorableMaurice" tweeted, "Help me understand something: why does

anyone care about anything that Chelsea Clinton says?

What has she ever done that should make us care what she thinks?

I am not aware of anything."

I am not aware of anything.

— DeplorableMaurice (@Maurice4642522) March 6, 2018

Maurice feels the same way a lot of us do.

Chelsea hasn't accomplished anything significant in her life and shouldn't be interviewed

for her opinion.

It's sad that she gets attention because of her corrupt parents.

Another Twitter user named Debbie Giammarrusco Snyder said, "She is a product of the crooked

Clintons!

I wouldn't trust her as far as I could spit.

What kind of a comment is that to make?

She is exactly like her wicked mother!"

— ❤Debbie Giammarrusco Snyder ❤ (@debsbkram1) March 6, 2018

I could not agree more.

Chelsea is cut from the same self-entitled cloth as Hillary Clinton, and it hangs in

the air when she talks.

She clearly thinks she's better than others.

Chelsea Clinton should stay in the shadows because when her corrupt parents are finally

brought to justice, she's going to be prosecuted for her own part in their foundation's criminal

acts.

for having me and everybody else. And my story with Laminine started back in November

2011 when my dear friend Brian called me and he told me about Laminine. And because

he had very

amazing results with liver cancer and Laminine I

was excited to see the company to check the company and when I heard about Laminine and what it can do for our body:

Laminine brings body to balance, I told myself:

I have to share it with my Russian

People with my Russian community because I came from Russia to United States

And I started to sharing it and now I have over

40,000 people all over the world. Happy people with great results of their health and

financial success and

looking back

What would I do without joining this company?

I have no idea. How I would look? Actually I'm gonna be 60 years old in a few days

And I feel great because of Laminine . And when I compare my pictures how I used to look five years ago and today...

this difference and I

Younger not older and because of Laminine. Another happiness: my father...

You probably know, our doctor Andujar has done an amazing

studies and diabetes and Laminine and those studies in PDR and now I'm using the studies because I try to tell

tell people how important is to take Laminine and especially for people with diabetes.

studies

for me it's even not important because

The main studies has happened with my father.

When I gave my father Laminine back in November of 2011, at that time my father couldn't walk. He had

Neuropathy because his sugar was uncontrollable . The numbers were running from

280 up to 500 and

Doctor said he needs to take four shots of insulin and my father said I better die, but I don't want to poke myself

So many times and then I staredt to give him Laminine. And guess what ? Today his numbers run run from 90 to

126

He walks, his blood sugar under control and my father

Enjoying life, and the quality of his life is different now

Happy quality of life and because of that I cannot stop talking about Laminine . And I cannot stop talking about

opportunities because when I call many of my friends back in

2011 some of them were broke. No money. The bank wants to take their apartment away

people were in very bad situation

Now for example my platinum director Nina Apresova... she moved to California

five minutes away from Life Pharm Global because she created a residual income and

Residual income comes when you share information about Laminine and that's so simple: you just talk about

Laminine, people join a company. They

Reordering the product. Our body cannot exist without Laminine and without amino acids and that what makes us happy

and

We feel our life fulfilled because we're not helping only our health

Families and friends we're helping the world

and I'm so happy be here and see all your happy faces and all your

excitement because tomorrow I will fly home

And I will tell my European team about you what I saw here, and maybe one day

We'll join together the cruises who wants to go on a cruise next year

Ok who wants to create residual income with a new product

Yes, who wants to look younger in five years?

Who wants to look and?

feel happier in five years?

Okay, that's our business, and I'm so happy to be part of this incredible business. Thank you so much

we kiss Yantra for

Creating this beautiful problem. Thank you. Thank you guys

I don't tell you what to do you decide what you want to do on your own anything?

I say in this video is just my opinion and for educational purposes only put that out of the way

Let me tell you about pixie or chain one of the best I cos

I've looked at and I'm telling you right now

If you look at the white paper, and you read every single thing in it you will be very very impressed

This is a phenomenal opportunity, and I am so proud to bring it to you so the first thing

What is pixie your chain do so pixie your chain is a secure block chain based exchange for keyword?

Personal data, how important is your personal data? How important is your private information?

And when you call somebody and you give them your information over the phone. How do you feel?

Do you feel like you could be taken advantage of?

You become vulnerable for identity theft you become vulnerable to be taken advantage of somebody that can impersonate you take your information

Act on your behalf without your knowledge let's not forget about Equifax. Which is perfect this example

Why that is so important and when they got hacked they didn't tell anybody and everybody's identity got stolen

It was a disaster so that is very important to us with that being said with big CEO chain

businesses as well as yourself are going to be able to share your data use your data and

Get paid for sharing your data

With whoever you want to you can share that data and that company that's going to receive that data is gonna know that it's 100%

Authenticated because it's secured and that's where fix your chain comes to protect your identity through the blockchain

To provide businesses with data. That is 100%

Authenticated and to monetize it as well so both bodies could receive monetary compensation for sharing data

Or receding down and this is in a nutshell

What fix your chain is but why do I like it first of all they're partners with neo

PwC

Capgemini and earnest and young I mean if you don't know who these are then you need to look them up

You need to pause this video and look them up especially me

They're hard capped at 30 million

But the total supply is 83 million which is very very low their ICO is open the price is one meal gives you

150

Pkcs total tokens for sale during the IC o---- they're gonna sell 36 million pkcs which is 43.4%

And right now. They are currently open. This is how the distribution is going to happen strategic supporters are gonna get 5%

presale in tokens sale 33% neo allocation

5.4. Percent

Be to see growth pool 15.8% bound is 0.1

Percent so obviously not a lot of referrals b2b business to business premium

inventories

25 percent the team gets 8 percent and the advisers get

7.7. Percent now they do have their social media and the communication

Avenues right here you can actually check them out, but let's dig deeper a little bit about the project

I want to share it with you some key points

Pixy your chains it says enables the collection

Certification and exchange of personal data now this of course happens between a business and another and that's how businesses exchange your data

Like I told you guys everything is

Authenticated through the blockchain it protects the individuals data while making that acquisition and management easy for businesses

So protects them

and you can only share your data with whoever you want to and you can share half the data the whole data or

Parts of the data with any business that you choose to pick CEO chain is proving the world's first monetized

Personal data marketplace, this is revolutionary guys

This is new nothing like it the first of its kind in development for three years

So they have been in business for three years guys, and they do have a parent company match up box and they want

prestigious awards already strategic partnership with me yo earnest and young Capgemini and

PricewaterhouseCoopers these are billions of dollars companies guys, and they're very very successful

Usually if you don't know what you're doing you follow the winners right and the people that are making money if you hang out around

Them you follow their footsteps you end up getting a piece of what they're trying to do they do have a video right here I?

Want to share it with you it's one minute long

But it's worth it data drives 21st century business and personal data is the most sought-after and valuable information of all

Increasing kyc and AML requirements are driving up the cost of compliance and draining businesses of resources add to this the coming

implementation of the e use general data protection regulations, and it's clear that organizations need a new

Cost-effective model for the verification and exchange of data a new approach is needed and in

Decentralized blockchain networks, we found the answer

We've harnessed this power to create the CEO chain which lets

organizations create new revenue streams through the exchange of personal data with each other and their clients using pkc the token that

Monetizes the network for the first time businesses will be able to turn the KYC into a profit center

and individuals will be able to see a return of the use of their valuable personal information pick CEO chain is a

GDP are ready plug-and-play solution that operates across all data formats

Enabling the automatic verification of an exchange of data making it ideal for use in the financial services sector

Big CEO chain can be used by any business no matter what data formats or platforms are in use

Our customers use pic co to access and exchange this data

Knowing that they're doing so in accordance with owners permissions, which are automatically enforced by smart contracts

Secure verify exchange and monetize so you get the gist of it is a unique

Idea of one of its kind and it offers a lot of solutions, this is the first of its kind

And I think this alone should get you to get excited

da Hong Fei is the CEO Neil and he put in three million dollars of his own money and

He's the owner of the leading Chinese blockchain platform

If you don't know what neo is it used to be an chair at one time and they rebranded into neo

But they have been successful it went up from $2 all the way to I think right now. It's 130 dollars

We talked about the strategic business partners and the key partnerships as well

They do also have clients already since they have been in business for three years

They have won a lot of awards and these are huge companies some of them are medical

So telemedicine so you can use pixie your chain with the medical field as well because you know people get to know

through your data

What kinda allergies you have what kind of medical problems?

You also have if you scroll down you look at the awards right here FinTech challenge

They won in 2016 left French tech, and they all wanna in 2015. I mean they're stars. This is a superstar

I see oh I don't need to

Really tell you about it all I need to tell you is just go and take a look at it and read a little bit

You will be impressed so medical services pick C your chain can supply both certified

identification records and medical data in the space of seconds providing comfort for the individual and the opportunity for

the institution to deliver the highest standards of care financial services the constant growth in

Regulatory requirements we all know how the KIC works we all know what payment

But all these regulations are bringing and the financial services sector is seen as a burden. It is a burden to me

It is and I'm sure to you it is as well by both the client and the company's big CEO chain

Directly addresses this issue creating a smooth and streamline for all parties involved

Amazing token sales and listen to this is very interesting as well today's token sale processes anything by user friendly

We all know many people have difficulties

Participating into icos and I TOS and all the stuff because their

Knowledge is limited right and you really require some kind of tech savviness in order for you to participate in IC o----

Pixi your change intends to make token sales much more user friendly

by creating a token sale wallet that makes the discovery and participation in token sale as

Z as buying a product online

So think about it when they offer the solution if you want to participate in ICO

All you have to do is just click one button so yeah, it has a lot of use cases

And it delivers a good promise

This is the team I want to talk about the team a little bit the team is an all-star team honestly

They have ran companies they ran big data algorithms and big data companies

They know the name of the game. They're just branching into a blockchain to make it a lot more smoother

This is the CEO and most graduate and philosophy and masters in mathematics. I mean it's an all-star

This is the co-founder right here

He's worked for the French Department of Defense as a team manager in charge of the network

Security so as far as security goes

They know how to protect the data and all that stuff through the blockchain another doctor right here

This is a developer and we look at the advisers

We scroll down look at the advisors the advisors also are an all-star team

They all own companies. They're very popular

I suggest you take a moment and go and read about these people they're pioneers in the blockchain

Technology and certainly with businesses that they have ran now you scroll down right here, and you look at the roadmap now

They have documented their journey from 2014

2017 and then of course

2018 and what the future plans are I want to show you their white paper real quick we're gonna dig deep into it now some

People so I want to share with you about this I see all right here

It says some key benefits for fixing your chain fraud proof that has only been

exchanged with the permission of the data owner that a theft

pixee your users stored their data only on their own devices

So nobody has it no company has it's not laying out there somewhere in a drawer

Where somebody can just reach out and just pull up the file and read everything about you your banking information

Your Social Security all that stuff right speed of transaction by using a third-generation

Blockchain platform, it's instant

I also want to bring you this to your attention storing the data on users devices while the hashes are stored on a permission

blockchain makes pixie or chain fully Gd pyaare and similar compliant if you don't know what gdp are

It's general data protection regulation

So it's widely used in Europe pic Co is currently a platform aiming to transform into a protocol within the next two years

So it's a good long term old guys by offering a library of modular smart contracts

We will enable clients to build their own custom marketplace on top of the big shield chain protocol

Fantastic, I mean there are so many cases that you can use pixie or chain especially in the medical services

I think this will hit it right there on a nail and make it very successful because look it says here the positive

identification of

Individuals, and the timely arrival of medical records can mean the difference between positive and negative health outcomes that is 100%

True because time is everything when somebody's having a heart attack so knowing what kind of allergies

They have what kind of health problems they have is very important and imagine if you just have it with a click of a button

Because you don't have to verify it's already been verified now

There are some products that they already have picture you me for the individual users

and it's a mobile app they also have pixie or Pro for the business pixie or lab for the

developers and pixie or tokens sale wallet for cryptocurrency

enthusiasts like you and I and they have in details what it looks like what it does and what it's going to do in the

Future this is a comparison between them and other

projects that offer similar

messages however if you look at the

Differences right here this just nails every single one of them and the market cap is lower than

The big ones like civic civic for example is a big competitor, but look at the market cap comparison with a civic

I think we will crush it so guys. This is what PCO chain has to offer I'm gonna put the link for the website

down below if you want to go check it out this year taking consideration only stars invest and stars

And I always follow their footsteps because I know they know something maybe I don't all right so guys

I'm gonna leave the what address in the description below if you want to go check it out and do your own diligence

I'm also gonna need my telegram crew laying down there for you to join and see what kind of polls do we have on

pixie or chain and other as well with that being said I appreciate you guys always listening to me hit that subscribe button if you're

Feb '18 School Shooting Prevention | Jane E Fendelman MC - Duration: 17:11.

hi this is Jane Fendelman we're shooting this video in mid-February 2018 I want

to talk about the school shootings that just happened recently people are

feeling bigger about the most recent school shootings because it keeps

happening and the biggest conversation that happens when one of the school

shootings occurs is the gun control conversation and that is the wrong

conversation the debate starts up between the political parties and the

president and should we have more stringent gun control

should we not should we arm the teachers should we train the teachers to fight do

combat fighting what do we do it's the wrong question we're looking in the

wrong direction we're trying to close the barn door after the horses have

already run away the problem isn't guns and gun control the problem is a

dysfunctional school system a sick culture sick in a very particular way

there's a disease a disease in our culture and the result of that disease

is children feel disconnected lonely disenfranchised from humanity depth of

connection emotional well-being the first order of

business in any school from kindergarten or nursery school all the way up through

college graduation should be emotional well-being the only way for a child to

learn is to be well and relaxed and open to learning do children have that no not

even a little bit I have grammar school-age children

coming to me with ulcers anxiety disorders oppositional defiant disorder

ADD ADHD ED emotional disorders what's the problem what's the big complaint my

kid won't get their homework done they won't get good grades in school why

should a kid care about that when their parents are going through a divorce or

dad is cussing at the car next to him in traffic or they see their parents

looking at someone walking down the street and judging them look at that fat

pig she shouldn't be wearing that clothing look at that disgusting man

he's a Muslim look at that couple necking on the bench that's disgusting

judging other people training the children to think I better

be just so or I'll be judged or I better do the opposite and be wild and crazy

because I'm gonna be judged anyway so what brings these children to a point

where they can feel so disconnected alone and angry that they can go and get

a gun and go to the school and shoot every everyone up sometimes it's

bullying sometimes sometimes it's just being ostracized with the bullying

sometimes the bullying is occurring at school from other children they can

sense when this or that child has low self-esteem and it's like a dog pack

they can smell it and the weakest dog gets picked on

sometimes the bullying is occurring at home and parents are punishing and

controlling to try to get what they want from their children instead of inspiring

and rewarding that's damaging to the self-esteem and a person with damaged

self-esteem can much more easily feel disconnected go get a gun and shoot up

their school then a child who feels good about him or his or herself and

connected with other children and good about their relationship with their

parents but let's go back to the school system for a moment there are tiny young

grammar school-aged children with ulcers and panic attacks because they can't get

their homework done now before I was ever a counselor 25 years ago I was a

teacher and I'll tell you I didn't last very long as a teacher because it was as

painful to my heart to be in the school system as an adult as a teacher as it

was for me as a child feeling like I didn't fit in feeling

like I wasn't smart enough just the very nature of school grading children

judging and comparing them to other children just that alone is damaging

I don't think children should be graded I think children should grade the

teachers I don't think teachers should grade the children and to have homework

for grammar school age children is ridiculous to take a tiny child and ask

them to sit at a desk for six hours in the day and then come home and sit for

another hour or two is ridiculous it's sick and to teach them to don't look or

talk to your partner whoever sitting near you don't look at them don't talk

to them keep your eyes on your desk keep your eyes forward pay attention listen

talking at children to teach them is the wrong way children are kinetic learners

that means they learn best by moving they're also tactile learners they learn

best by touching things touching things and moving is a good and natural thing

for a child to do it doesn't mean they're a ADD or ADHD if you want to know

more about this specific topic I want you to look up my video called

dysfunctional school system the dysfunctional public school system

something like that talk all about it so what else causes this disconnect for

children to be able to go and get a gun and shoot up a school well some of them

aren't even listening to and talking with a teacher

some of them come into class sit down in front of a computer teacher says pull up

this assignment and their whole day is spent with their face in a computer

screen children are lonely and disconnected why do you think we have a

68 percent divorce rate children are trained to do work that they don't love

and then they grow up into adults who choose a job that they don't love the

statistic that I heard is that 85% adults work at a job that they either

don't love or hate why-why-why I get a job that you don't like or hate why why

because you were trained in school to work at work that you don't like or hate

and then because you're great in art but you suck at math we're gonna tell you

there's something wrong with you I literally had a 15 year old girl and her

mother come in for counseling one time because they wanted me to give her an ADD

diagnosis because she had bad grades in math she was fine in all her

other classes when I spoke to the girl privately one-on-one she admitted she

wanted the ADD drugs to help keep her weight down she felt like she was

growing getting big getting fat she wasn't she wasn't even a little bit

overweight but she wanted the drugs so that she could keep her weight down

children need not just need have to have and not just children human beings they

have to have presence connection empathy and joy they have to

if presence fullness of presence I'm here I'm focused on you I hear you I see

you presence connection empathy and joy if

your child's every class doesn't have these four components presence

connection empathy and joy then that class that doesn't have those four

components will be damaging to your child presence is that connection

empathy is being able to put themselves in someone else's shoes and feeling like

others can put their themselves in my shoes feeling like my parents can put

themselves in my shoes and parents stop yelling at your kids do your homework do

your homework get your grades up put yourself in their shoes they're in

school all day a job they didn't pick that they don't get paid for that

they're bound to do obligated to do for 12 years if we did that to an adult we

would call it slavery presents connection empathy and joy joy fun

happy about life happy to be alive happy that I'm going to school today

check your life do you have presence are you present with the people that you

love or are you on your phone at the grocery store do you stop and see a

person there when you look at the cashier presents empathy how's your day

going actually I'm kind of famous among my

friends when I text them I don't ever say how are you I say hi how's your

heart how's your soul presence connection empathy and joy do you have

that in your life in your job in your relationships if you don't you are

modeling sick a sick lifestyle for your children and by the way you're gonna

take it out on them you have to have presence connection empathy and joy and

if you don't have that in your life what the fuck are you doing with your life

cuz this is not a dress rehearsal so get on it because what you're modeling for

your kids is bad shit and your kid's gonna feel disconnected and depressed

and sad and mad and they might get a gun and go to school and shoot everyone so

it starts here it starts here in the heart with your connection with your

child and your schools connection with your child a heart - connection it isn't

about guns no guns we've got changing gun law it's gonna be Trump is it Obama is

it the right wing the left wing the Liberals the NRA it's not that so stop

talking about that because it's not what it is it's about a deep profound human

connection how could someone go shoot other people

because there's no human connection so that's what we're lacking in the schools

it's a sick system and I treat kids every single day for 25 years that have

to deal with it and what do we do we drug children to make them be able to

deal with it we drug them in so that they're little zombies and they just go

to school there's not the way the way is a heart and soul connection the way is

from kindergarten and every year every day there's classes that are just about

joy and connection healthy connection between human beings non-judgement

unconditional love happiness empathy presence there's no goal what we're

doing to our children is making them into little human doings instead of

human beings children grammar school age children junior high high schoolers

college students with ulcers and panic attacks anxiety attacks because of

homework and school that is unacceptable

no more no more of that we change the entire system now and it's not about

guns it's about a six school system I hope this video is the beginning of a

deeper conversation between you and your child's school

I've been inviting parents for years to contact me to start a revolution

number one no more homework after school I prefer the Waldorf or the Montessori

method much healthier for children number two no more faces in the

computers all day real human teachers real human

interaction teachers that know how to connect heart and soul with the child

number three parents who our heart and soul connected with

their children and living a happy life modeling a life of joy connection

empathy mental emotional intimacy love so get off their backs if you want a

real easy way to get started immediately get my book Raising Humane Beings it's

in my website store and if you really really want them to do homework read

chapter 10 first it's the yes after you the solution to all your problems please

don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like to start a revolution at your

school be happy to help I'm on your side I love you I'm always here for you thank

Unofficial Animal Artists Collective: Oceans & Coasts - Duration: 11:36.

This months theme was Oceans & Coasts

The animal that I chose to paint

was an octopus.

While octopus/octopi

are not endangered

they're still at risk from all the plastic

that us humans dump in the ocean, along with

loads of other wildlife.

This plastic can get caught

around parts of the octopus.

And can cause

brain damage

and deformations as well.

The plastic can also get into their diet

their prey can eat small particles of degrading plastic

and this can get to the octopus through the food chain.

This is damaging and dangerous to their health

Many of marine life are poisoned

from eating their prey that have ingested

this plastic.

Another reason why I chose an octopus

as the subject of this painting

is that the octopus

is often seen in a negative light

I often find them quite intriguing as

they're very intelligent animals

when our researchers go down to the ocean

to study them, it's not just the octopus

that gets studied.

The octopus will often interact with humans

and also be quite inquisitive about us.

This can be seen in many documentaries

the most recent I have seen is Blue Planet ii

They are incredibly intelligent and can escape

shark attacks and camouflage themselves really well.

Many see them as mythical creatures

as they are

very interesting and

there's a lot of mystery about them, particularly

the largest of the species, Krakens.

Also called Giant Squid.

If you are currently enjoying this video

please give it a thumbs up and leave a comment down below

I thoroughly enjoyed working on this piece

it was quite relaxing to paint as there wasn't anything

too detailed or too heavy.

I really love the blue in this picture.

It's made up of cobalt blue, pthalo blue

and a bit of indigo.

Now I'm going to do something I don't normally do.

I'm going to sell the original of this piece

on my etsy store and the proceeds of that

painting

will be going to the RSPCA

here in the UK.

For those who don't know who the RSPCA are

they're an animal charity based here in the UK

who help animals a lot closer to home.

I will leave a link to the RSPCA website

down in the description box as well as a link

to the Animal Artists Collective

official members and official site.

If you don't want to purchase this painting to support them

you can also give one off donations on their website

of both The Animal Artists Collective

and RSPCA

I think it's amazing what these women are doing.

And I personally felt inspire to have a go myself.

I am a big animal lover.

Trust me you have no idea how much it hurts

that I can't have a cat in my apartment.

The materials that I am using in this piece

are watercolour paints and

Bockingford Hot Pressed watercolour paper

size A4

I'm also using some new Escoda Brushes

that I got thanks to you guys for using

my affiliate links so I'd like to say thank you for that as well.

If you'd like to see more from me make sure

you check me out on instagram, twitter

and now Vero.

You'll find links down in the description bar below

my handle is @penholderartuk

I will also leave links to my etsy store and

anything else I find useful.

I finished off this piece with a few faber castell

polychromos colour pencils just to give it

some pop and texture in places.
