Straight Razor Edge Friday Special Part 3 we are going to be going through the

honing progression of this Finedge Ostiso let's get to it alright now

let's get that tape cleaned off to this side and kind of work up more of a

slurry as well with this diamond plate

there we go no now let's go ahead keep working on this

okay let's get that tape off starting to look good

that stone okay yeah she was it without the cake I need any more water

can't have that stone to dry

okay now let's see what we're looking like oh that's looking pretty good

yes it is nice okay we got a pretty decent looking belly let's see what that

does okay yeah that's nice digging in digging in we're gonna do a little more

though because the bevel is everything you have to set that bevel and get it

right for you you need it and want it

X-Stroke

there we go I think we're there let's find out

oh yeah nice nice that's good yeah we are there we've got a bevel and this

thing is ready to rock and roll through the rest of the progression so that's

nice next up where you say my Shapton 8k

and this is a ceramic whetstone and these don't, do not have to be soaking so

all you have to do just keep them wet and while you're honing and that's it so

no big deal all right so and now at this stage of the game this is little to no

pressure okay

okay now X-Strokes

okay that's looking pretty good pretty good

yes it is okay oh and we're gonna go ahead and do a little bit more he

that's starting to look good

oh yeah nice there we go next moving on to my Shapton 12k ceramic

stone and this is marvelous I really do enjoy this one and it puts a nice edge

on a blade we're just going to make sure to get that wet again this is

a ceramic stone so it doesn't need to be soaking alright next let's go ahead yes

again no pressure

all right in now this isn't rocket science just do it yeah you got a piece

of steel you got rock you just rub them together

and you sharp sharpen that razor

yeah there's 40

I'm 40 let's go ahead and get keep that stone wet

all right could feel pretty good nice nice polish on that blade looking good

How To Properly FINISH Your Straight Razor Blade, Straight Razor Edge Friday Special Part 4 - Duration: 19:03.

Straight Razor Edge Friday Special Part 4 we are going to be Finishing this

Finedge Ostiso on a Premium ILR Natural Stone let's do it next up this is my ILR

this is the Premium Stone and this is a 12-15k stone act's maybe more like a

20k stone according to Dr. Matt I'm just gonna put it there cuz I don't have

anything that that fits on it's a nice big stone which I enjoy and then get

that nice and wet yeah then try something different

we're going to go ahead and build a slurry on this stone as well and let's

see how that works

now this is a really hard stone so we're gonna go ahead and hit it up with the

diamond play and then it came with a slurry stone as well so we're going to

go ahead and knock down that diamond size slurry and work it in with this and

then we're going to try the razor

alright not sure yeah let's find out how it works now I'm going to go ahead and

just get that a little wetter though alright

and we're going to do extra oats and see how that works

all right right off the bat this is a smooth hard stone so not sure what that

slurry is going to do for it well we can find out normally I use the stone under

running water and that works really well

you can look back at my Honing Video Series for all kinds of razors actually

and see the ILR in action under running water but we'd

try something different this time and see how this works this seems to be a

good stone to finish with it really puts a nice edge on a blade so it is hard

though and you have to make sure and drop that edge down on this stone and

last you can't drop the edge on this stone before you go to town with it

because that will mess up that edge and you don't have to start over and we

don't want to do that so this is actually pretty smooth that's nice it

feels good

like I said I've never be too slurry with this but it seems to be

undercutting nicely and that's good although I'm not seeing that great I

cannot to fast though so this is maybe not the quickest way to cut with this

stone do this keep trying right always learning new things that's one of the

things this channel is all about we learn new things I learned all the time

from you so keep letting me know your secrets

your tips your tricks all of those kind of things

yeah we just will keep coming we'll keep trying new things all the time

yep and we can learn together which is so cool right now I'm gonna go ahead and

thin out that slurry

we're gonna leave just a little bit in there let's see what that does

yeah now I can feel more of the stone

yeah definitely can feel more of the stone then I could with the thicker

slurry on it so that's cool

that really is feeling quite nice it's feeling quite good now let's knock down

that slurry good just go straight water one of this and

see what that does

yeah I can feel even more of the stone and now that razor is starting to stick

yeah

and now again this is little to no pressure we don't want to grind down

into the stone too much all we're trying to do is polish at this point that's all

we're trying to do you just polish that stone touch that stuff polish that blade

with the stone yeah

and these X-Strokes I have not been counting them I just go until it

feels like it's nice and sticky now I'm gonna try something different again

well there's nice bottle glycerin we're going to try that I'm just going to put

a bit of that on there and let's see what that does

cuz that should loosen things up a bit I think yeah maybe we can take it to that

next level oh yeah well it's already starting to

stick really good yeah

interesting

very nice

okay now that's really starting to stick at this point

let's try a little more glycerin and see what that does see if that loosens it up

anymore yeah it did

interesting this isn't always good to learn really is

nice okay I don't like it feels good yep now let's see yeah more water and just

try straight water again yep nice and sticky really sticky that is amazing

how that works

okay alright let's drop it on the fabric side and then put it back on the stone

he instructs okay there we go yeah still nice and sticky

yeah I think we're there

that is nice and sticky

that's good okay we're gonna stop right there

next we're going to do 30 laps one to smooth leather so we'll get that warmed

up and get going

there's 30 next up the Hanging Hair Test (HHT)

yeah from the toe to the heel it is popping hairs that's nice

community. You just need to have the courage to be this authentic person.

Business normally has a cycle. So cycle is normally five to ten years. Cycle. So that

means your business always has to keep evolving. We've learned so much over

the last two days that implementing it is going to be a lot of fun for the both

of us. It's so nice that we came here as a team.

For me is the second time, for Melina it's the first time. The content is so

powerful. It is always pleasure to be here, to be

surrounded by like-minded people, and you can always find new content, learn new

things and get your career on a new level.

You have to carve an industry

within your business that does not exist. You need to get very very clear on your

ideal client profile and target audience for two reasons. One is that you let all

the toxic draining bad people go and you start attracting the right people and

seeing the right people. You earn more because you have better clients. You have

more free time. You're more happy with your time. And you can laser target them

on social media.

One thing that I would like to take home with me today is the

fact that I've got the opportunity to meet a lot of like-minded

people and passionate people.

you closer to your goals

Hello friends welcome to Nalini Ki Rasoi

Today I am going to make Sev Barfi

Let's get started and see the ingredients

250 grams of unsalted sev

1/2 litre whole cream milk

250 grams of khoa

200 grams of sugar

1 teaspoon of cardamom powder

1 tablespoon of clarified butter

1 teaspoon of rose essence

10 to 12 almonds cut in small pieces

18 to 25 pistachioes cut in small pieces

First will put milk in a pan and reduced to half

Once milk has reduced to half then add sugar

And will keep stirring it so that sugar dissolve

And does not stick to the pan

Next put khoa and keep mixing and stirring

To avoid sticking it at the bottom of the pan

The khoa nicely dissolved and thicken

Add cardamom powder and mix well

Next add 1 teaspoon of clarified butter and mix well

And keep it on low flame for 1 minutes

Turn off the gas and add sev and rose essence and mix well

Next keep the mixture in a pan for 5 minute

So that's sev absorbs the moisture from the mixture

Next grease the plate with clarified butter

And transfer the prepared mixture in it and spread well

And flatten with the help of spatula

Garnish in chopped almonds and pistachioes

And tap it so that they stick to the barfi well

Next cut it into the equal part

Yummy and delicious Sev Barfi is ready to serve

How to take care of your underarms | Glamrs Skin Care & Home Remedies - Duration: 4:21.

Winter's on its way out, and summer's just around the corner!

It's almost time to ditch the sweaters and scarves

and dive back into wearing shorts and tank tops.

Unfortunately, a lot of us are conscious about our underarms.

We don't like how they look,

they're too dark, patchy or pigmented

and we don't like how they feel!

But, there are a few really simple fixes for this.

Hi, I'm Saachi, and in this video I'll show you how,

with a little home care and the right products,

you can enjoy summer, any way you'd like to!

If you shave or wax your underarms regularly,

you may find that you're left with scars, bumps

or even discolouration in that area.

So if this is a problem for you,

try using a mild exfoliator a couple of times a week.

Add a spoonful of sugar,

hunt down some dried ground orange peels

and some coconut oil.

Mix well and apply this on your underarms.

This will remove dead skin cells and any other dirt

that's accumulated in that region.

It'll also help smoothen out the skin, and leave you feeling fresh.

Grooming body hair is a personal choice,

and you shouldn't feel pressured or forced into looking a certain way.

Having said that, there is an advantage to

trimming or removing hair from areas that sweat a lot.

The bacteria that builds up in damp areas are responsible for body odour.

So if this is something that bothers you

then it's worth considering removing the hair.

You can shave or wax your armpits,

but be careful as the skin is sensitive.

Once you're done,

use a roll-on with 0% alcohol instead of your regular deodorant,

as they don't sting or irritate the skin.

Apart from being super gentle on your skin,

roll-ons also help your skin smell good!

This is a pretty big part of feeling clean and comfortable.

A current favourite is Nivea's Pearl and Beauty Roll-On,

this has 0% alcohol content and pearl extracts

which make it super gentle on your skin.

It controls body odour all day

and the rolling ball covers the entire underarm easily.

The fragrance is subtle and not too heavy as well, which we like.

Taking care of the rest of your body is as important as

taking care of your face,

so it's time you stopped neglecting it!

Especially post a shave or wax,

they can be left slightly irritated

and the best way to help soothe and condition this sensitive skin

is by applying a moisturizing agent like aloe vera gel.

Aloe vera is a magic plant,

the gel can penetrate your skin and hydrate it from within,

leaving you fresh and smooth.

If you have dry or pigmented underarms

and would like to improve how they look and feel,

then this DIY mask will work wonders.

Take some gram flour,

a pinch of turmeric

and add some lemon juice to it.

Mix

and apply this to your underarms.

Kick back and let the mask work on your skin for about 15 minutes.

Do this daily for a week and you should see a big improvement.

In a tropical country like ours,

humidity is always high and wearing materials

such as rayon or polyester can suffocate the skin

leading to rashes and just an overall sense of irritated skin.

You can make this less of an issue by wearing outfits

made of breathable cotton or linen fabrics.

These fabrics wick away the moisture

and help keep your skin dry, in a good way.

And now that your underarm game is strong

you can go ahead and wear sleeveless clothes confidently.

So there you go,

follow these simple steps in order to stay sweat-free,

restore the bacterial balance of your underarms

and feel fresh and confident all day long!

Trump-Hating Author Michael Wolff Suffers Humiliating Breakdown After Shocking Admission

Author Michael Wolff, who trashed President Donald Trump in his tabloid-quality book "Fire

and Fury," recently suffered a humiliating breakdown on live television after making

a shocking admission.

You don't want to miss this as we say good riddance to bad rubbish.

Michael Wolff admitted to having made false claims in an interview a month ago about President

Donald Trump's non-existent affair with U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley.

"I will just clean this up," Wolff began.

"I do not know if the president is having an affair," he said, on Thursday, February

22, 2018, on the Dutch TV-show "College Tour," according to The Washington Post.

Wolff's admission really only comes as a shock to the liberal morons who took him seriously,

to begin with.

It seems his interview was much like his book, which is a collection of falsehoods that numerous

high-level officials in D.C. have come out against, including President Donald Trump

himself.

Ambassador Haley, who emphatically denied Wolff's assertion of an affair, called the

allegations "disgusting" and "offensive" — two words that sum up Michael Wolff as

a human being very accurately.

After making his admission, Wolff tried unsuccessfully to recover to no avail.

"Do I think he is?

I think it would be unlikely that he has suddenly become a faithful husband," he continued.

"In that event, I certainly don't know who he is having an affair with," he added.

"If I did, it would be in the book."

Since releasing his failed hit-piece, Wolff has been proven a liar on multiple claims,

including one that President Trump had no idea who former Speaker of the House John

Boehner was after he won the presidential election.

Unfortunately for Wolff, Trump had tweeted about Boehner several times since July 28,

2011, and has been known to golf with Boehner.

The bottom line here is that Wolff isn't even a smart liar.

Thursday's admission wasn't the icing on the cake for Trump supporters who loved

hearing that Wolff had to admit his dishonesty.

In the following interview on an Australian morning talk show "The Today Show," Wolff

was asked about his now-retracted claim that Trump has had an affair with Ambassador Haley.

It was during the interview on Sunday, February 25, 2018, that Wolff finally cracked.

The footage, seen in the tweet below, shows Wolff having what looks like a mental breakdown

as he frantically looks for a way to escape the interview.

Apparently, the best idea he could come up with was to pretend he can't hear the news

anchor on his earpiece and then nervously storm off the set.

That escalated quickly.

"That appears to be the audio coming through the earpiece on Mr. Wolff's end … which

would suggest that he could hear you loud and clear," said another "Today" anchor.

"So he could hear me!"

Fordham exclaimed when being told that Wolff likely heard his questions.

"He decided to tell a porky pie about not being able to hear me," added Fordham, using

Cockney slang for lying.

It's epic to watch the two savvy news anchors laugh hysterically at Wolff's expense.

Just watching Wolff lose his composure and pretend that he has an earpiece malfunction

is priceless.

After the brief interview, "The Today Show" host Ben Fordham posted evidence on Twitter

to prove that Wolff had lied about his earpiece to get out of the interview.

Notably, Michael Wolff's escape came directly after Ben Fordham asked him if he owed President

Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump an apology.

Wolff's so-called 15 minutes of infamy was pretty brief.

His book was published on January 5, 2018, and in less than 8 weeks, it all came crashing

down for the lowlife Trump-hater.

Seriously, this guy should be shunned by his family and friends for his behavior.

It's sickening that he was allowed to interview anyone at the White House, to begin with,

but that just goes to show how accessible and transparent President Donald Trump has

made his administration to the media, even though they constantly attack him.

Thank God for Trump, and good riddance to weasels

like Wolff.

Barack Obama is in hot water after being caught sneaking away.

Barack's trip was so secret, there was no advance notice, and those who he met with

were required to be searched for any devices that could record their meeting.

After the press got wind of this "forbidden" trip, there was no way every media outlet

would stay silent.

This caused Michelle to react with a major media announcement about her future.

Barack and Michelle Obama's marriage is on the rocks and has been for some time.

Most insiders have agreed they would probably stay married for political and economic reasons,

just like Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Lately, it's looking more and more like Michelle may want out as certain issues around

Barack's presidency, like spying on President Donald Trump, are coming out, and it's heating

up to the point where heads are going to roll beginning in March.

Then, Michelle heard Barack was in Boston.

There was a strange under-reported news blip from a local Boston outlet titled, "Former

President Barack Obama gave a secret speech at the 2018 Sloan Sports Analytics Conference

in Boston."

Why would Obama's speech have to be "secret"?

And, when we say secret, they weren't fooling around.

As the Boston Herald reports, "[O]rganizers threatened to eject and ban credentialed journalists

for simply doing their jobs — prohibiting them from tweeting or reporting on the event,

both during and after."

"Everyone involved in this blanket coverage ban should be embarrassed," Ken Paulson,

the president of the First Amendment Center at the Newseum in Washington, D.C., said,

according to the Boston Herald.

"I'm sure President Obama has his pick of lucrative speaking gigs.

Why pick one that's the antithesis of transparency?"

The Boston Herald adds, "Reporters were granted media credentials weeks ago, only

to be slapped with the journalistic equivalent of a gag order just 24 hours before the conference."

"During President Obama's panel the following will not be permitted, without exception:

photography, video recording, streaming, and social media posting — including the use

of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and other platforms," read a warning from

MIT conference organizers, according to the Herald.

"Following the panel, the sharing or reporting of its contents on public platforms, including

news outlets and social media, will not be permitted.

This policy applies to all attendees, credentialed media included."

Former President Obama is scheduled to speak this afternoon to an MIT Sloan Sports Analytics

conference.

Now, can you imagine President Donald Trump demanding a press blackout while giving what

is described as a "secret speech"?

The mainstream media would be going nuts.

CNN and MSNBC would be leading their broadcasts with Trump's super secret trip and speech.

So, what did Obama say and why was everyone in attendance issued a gag order?

Well, we have no idea what he said, but we have an idea as to why Obama has been in hiding

lately with this being his only appearance in months.

Then, we have Michelle's reaction.

The heat is on Barack big time when it comes to what Rep. Devin Nunes has uncovered along

with the Inspector General's report that will be coming out in March.

"In late October 2017 former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper admitted

the Clinton-Steele dossier was part of the Joint Analysis Report.

Eventually, our research indicated the dossier and the intelligence report were likely the

underlying evidence behind the FISA Title-1 application for surveillance on Carter Page

and by extension the Trump campaign," reported The Conservative Treehouse.

The report goes on to prove all of that information, the illegal spying operation, was reported

to then-President Barack Obama.

Susan Rice left a paper trail when she emailed herself on the last day the Obama administration

was in the White House.

Rice did it, according to investigative journalist Sara Cater, to "CYA," otherwise known

as "cover your ass."

There is no doubt Obama was forbidden to give speeches by his attorneys, and he was told

to lay low.

Instead, he couldn't help himself and snuck away to Boston.

So, what does Michelle do?

Well, funny thing, she just announced that her memoir will be out mid-November.

Why is this such a big deal?

Well, you may recall the Obamas signed a joint deal to do their memoirs.

Newsweek reported in March 2017, "Former U.S. President Barack Obama and First Lady

Michelle Obama have signed a joint book deal to release both their memoirs via Penguin

Random House.

The package deal had been subject to a bidding war between various top publishing houses

in recent weeks.

The Financial Times reports that Penguin Random House paid an excess of $65 million for memoirs

by both Obamas."

Reuters reports, "Michelle Obama's forthcoming memoir, 'Becoming,' is set for worldwide

release on Nov. 13, at which time the former first lady will embark on a global tour to

promote the book, publisher Penguin Random House said on Sunday."

So, if you read between the lines, it's easy to see that Michelle is fed-up.

Instead of waiting for Barack to fulfill his part of the memoir deal, she is so disgusted

by the former president, with his legacy which is going down the drain and the legal hot

water he is now in, that she decided enough is enough.

She's going solo from here on out, announcing her memoir will be out with no mention of

Barack's book.

Hell, Barack may be headed to prison for all she knows, and she is not going to be "standing

by her man."

Now, if we could only find out what Barack's super secret speech was all about — maybe

he is waiting to do a prison memoir?

That would be a huge best-seller, and might even sell more than Michelle's book.

because German is important and useful in today's world.

Today I will expand this conversation in order to give you a lot of information.

With that you can convince your friends to learn German.

B1/B2 Video of the Week #40: Why you should learn German!

It is self-explanatory that you should learn German if you travel to Germany or study in Germany.

If you are studying in Germany as a foreigner, you usually don't have to pay very much.

In Baden-Württemberg it costs €1500 per semester,

but in other federal states it doesn't cost so much.

There are also a lot of opportunities to get money from organizations in Germany and in your home country.

I, for example, received a scholarship in 2009 from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Thanks to this scholarship, I studied for a month in the summer at Humboldt University in Berlin.

There are, of course, requirements that you have to meet in order to study in Germany.

If you just want to study in Germany for a short while,

you may not have to be able to speak so much German,

but normally you have to reach at least the B1 level.

There are a few exams that the German universities accept.

If you master the B1 level, you are allowed to study at a German university.

If you haven't mastered this level, you can still study at some universities.

There are links in the description, where you can find more information about that.

If you want to prepare yourself for these exams, you should try Lingoda.

Every lesson is taught by a German native speaker.

You can take group or private classes.

These lessons are especially made for people, who have to or want to prepare for these exams.

You can get a certificate for every level from Lingoda.

These certificates are accepted at many institutions including universities.

As I said in the other video, Germany is the most densely populated country in Europe

and has the fourth largest GDP (gross domestic product) in the world.

There are a lot of people on the earth, who speak German

and these people buy products that are produced in your country.

You also often buy German products, although you may not notice it.

For example: There are almost 2000 Aldi branches in 35 states in the USA.

Aldi employs almost 100,000 people worldwide.

Adidas employs over 60,000 people in more than 160 countries.

Many of the people that work for these companies don't need any German,

but if you want, German can be very helpful in order to do business with these companies.

Germans spend more money while on vacation than almost all other people in the world.

I even found an article from 1995 in which an interesting trend is seen.

Back then the Germans spend 3.6% of their income on travel,

but the average expenditure for Europeans was only 2.9%.

In 2009 the Germans spend $90 billion on travel.

In 2014 Germany was number 3 on the list, but they still spent $92 billion on travel.

If so many Germans are traveling, some people have to speak German with them.

In 2013 Germany produced 93,600 new books.

That is 5th place on the list of the most printed books,

but it is noteworthy that the top 3 (China, the USA, and the United Kingdom) include not only new books,

but also reissues of old books.

In short: If you want to learn German, there is a lot to read.

It doesn't matter why you are learning German, there are a ton of opportunities to learn German online and offline.

YouTubers like Dominik from Get Germanized or Katja from Deutsch für Euch can teach you a lot of German.

How do we mark up, multiple cables, onsite? - Duration: 8:37.

Hey guys, Ben here.

So, for those of you that follow me a fair bit

that have watched my videos in the past a fair few times you would have seen

me talk about the Australian Standards for underground locating.

A depiction of the underground services.

So, AS5488-2013 is the Australian Standards that we work to.

Whenever we're doing any locating out on site whenever we're drawing up any plans

anything like that in terms of the underground service locating

we do it to the Australian Standard.

This way everyone works to the same standard there's a consistent line.

Well, your benchmark line.

You try always try to achieve, try to get better than that.

So that when someone else looks at the site someone else comes and looks at the plan

they can all understand it, get a better idea of it.

Anyway, the reason why I'm doing this video today is colours.

There's been a lot of debate and a lot of discussion about colours.

I'm not here to talk about colours that, what you should use

what you shouldn't use.

I don't want to open that can of worms.

There are, sorry, in the Australian Standards there are set colours that you should be using.

It's not law.

It's not mandatory.

You don't have to use those colours.

But there are set standards, there are set colours that they want you to

use for locating underground cables and putting on plans.

But, one of the questions that's come up a fair few times

more from locators more from guys that are out there doing locating.

The question is

when you've got a Optus cable and a Telstra cable coming down the same street

how do you mark and you've got to mark them both white.

So communication, you've got to mark them white.

How do you distinguish the two.

If one comes over and they cross over or something like that

how do you distinguish how do you put your marks down.

And this is not in the standards.

This is just comes up to the locator on how the locator decided to do it.

You could just put your dots down you could put your lines down

you could join the dots you could do a range of different things.

I was on a job site, was actually a night shift job last year

and we, I took a video of everything I located.

So, took footage of it, everything I located because it was a big

normally take photos but this one was a bit complicated

so I took a video of it just so I've got evidence of what we've done

in case anything happens anything gets hit

we can show what we've done.

And also so in case a client wants a copy of it

in case the ground gets washed away or something and the paint goes.

So we always take photos of every job we do.

Anyway, what I thought I'd do I'd show you what I do.

So if we get out to a job so this one here was fairly complicated.

There was a fair few services out there.

A lot of communication.

A lot of different types of communication.

So what we did.

What I did is I marked them differently.

So what I want to do I'll play you the video,

now I'll play you the video but the video quality

is very, very poor.

So you have to excuse me about that.

I used my mobile phone to do the recording.

And it was night time so the quality of it was pretty bad.

It is a Google Pixel XL so it is meant to be pretty good.

But still there's only so much my mobile phone can do.

Even I used this camera

it still would have been pretty bad.

So, jump over to this screen.

we'll play the video and I'll talk over it and I'll tell you what I've done and how it is.

I mean, I'm sure those of you with experience will understand as soon as you start to see

the video you'll get the picture.

Okay, so that there is a vocus pit.

So, we've got let me just pause it for a sec.

So the white dots are the cable.

So, all the white dots that we've got on the that you see everywhere

that is the cable that I've located.

So it's all communication and what you'll see is I've put a different

colour in the centre of it so that we can distinguish it.

We carry, you can't see the paint cans but we carry 10 different colours of paint with us.

Generally 10 different colours is enough.

Some of these jobs you've got to use multiple colours on dots and do it different ways.

So, anyway.

Alright, so right there you'll see we're following the purple dots right now.

So keep following the purple dots.

So it's a white dot with purple inside of it.

So when I say purple dot, let's just pause again.

Sorry, guys.

When I say purple dots, when I say red dots, when I say green dots

I'm talking about the dot inside of the white.

So you've got a white mark and then inside, in the centre of it is what

it's coloured.

So that goes to the manhole.

That goes to that manhole.

So from this manhole here we've got two different types of conduits.

One of them is with a red dot.

The other one there is with an orange dot and it's with three dots.

So you see how I mean when you're on site

it does make a bit more sense all you literally do is follow the dots.

it's the what colour's that one.

Think that's pink.

Follow the pink dots.

See over here now, actually that's red.

The other one's orange.

See over here it gets confusing.

So that's why you go over it like that.

So it keeps following the dots.

Follow the red dots as you go through and it's actually pretty shallow there as

you see it goes up the road.

From that way there.

Come around again and we'll follow a different one now.

That's from that manhole again.

So, going from that manhole there's one that goes around the side

and then this one here it goes straight to that pit.

So you'll see it going to that pit.

And you'll see that other one over there going around

past the gas valve keeps going

It's not rocket science.

I'm sure, oh it's going to start again.

But it's just to show you a different way of doing it.

So, again there's no set standard on I mean some people

some guys put three dots they'll put three and then next to it

I've done it before as well.

So, you put three dots and then you put two dots.

So everywhere there's three dots that's one cable.

Everywhere there's two dots that's another cable.

And everywhere there's one dot that's another cable.

Over here because they were crossing each other

it was too hard to put in three dots and then two dots

because again, before I started locating I didn't

know where any of that was going.

So you go to hook onto one and go find it, mark it all.

And then you go hook on another one mark it and then find it's crossing over the

other one.

So all of a sudden it gets all confusing.

By the end of the night you're like oh my god all those marks.

And you've got to try work out what is what.

So that's why I've used the colour dot situation.

You could put crosses down instead of dots.

So follow the crosses then follow the dots.

Follow the lines.

Follow the circles.

Put circles with a line in between.

A range of different ways of doing it.

The idea is just to distinguish the difference between

one conduit and the other conduit.

Just so you, just so as a locator you know that you have

located it so you can tick it off that you have located it

And so you can show the client.

So you can explain where they all are.

That's it guys.

In situations like this where it gets really complicated

where there's a lot of services out there that are all the same type of utility

when you can only, when you should only be using one colour.

Now, I have used other colours before.

So let's say for example

We're on this job and there was no other services.

All we're doing is just communication.

All those communications are all we're doing then I might have used yellow

or I might have used blue or I might have used some other ones.

Actually no I probably wouldn't have done that.

But anyway, you could do it if you wanted.

I didn't on this one because I located everything on that site so there was other colours

all over the place so that's why I didn't do it.

And generally I wouldn't.

Probably to use this system.

But anyway, yeah, those of you that are locators leave a comment below.

honing progression of this Finedge Ostiso let's get to it alright now

let's get that tape cleaned off to this side and kind of work up more of a

slurry as well with this diamond plate

there we go no now let's go ahead keep working on this

okay let's get that tape off starting to look good

that stone okay yeah she was it without the cake I need any more water

can't have that stone to dry

okay now let's see what we're looking like oh that's looking pretty good

yes it is nice okay we got a pretty decent looking belly let's see what that

does okay yeah that's nice digging in digging in we're gonna do a little more

though because the bevel is everything you have to set that bevel and get it

right for you you need it and want it

there we go I think we're there let's find out

oh yeah nice nice that's good yeah we are there we've got a bevel and this

thing is ready to rock and roll through the rest of the progression so that's

nice next up where you say my Shapton 8k

and this is a ceramic whetstone and these don't, do not have to be soaking so

all you have to do just keep them wet and while you're honing and that's it so

no big deal all right so and now at this stage of the game this is little to no

pressure okay

okay now X-Strokes

okay that's looking pretty good pretty good

yes it is okay oh and we're gonna go ahead and do a little bit more he

that's starting to look good

oh yeah nice there we go next moving on to my Shapton 12k ceramic

stone and this is marvelous I really do enjoy this one and it puts a nice edge

on a blade we're just going to make sure to get that wet again this is

a ceramic stone so it doesn't need to be soaking alright next let's go ahead yes

again no pressure

all right in now this isn't rocket science just do it yeah you got a piece

of steel you got rock you just rub them together

and you sharp sharpen that razor

yeah there's 40

I'm 40 let's go ahead and get keep that stone wet

all right could feel pretty good nice nice polish on that blade looking good

Straight Razor Edge Friday Special Part 4 we are going to be Finishing this

Finedge Ostiso on a Premium ILR Natural Stone let's do it next up this is my ILR

this is the Premium Stone and this is a 12-15k stone act's maybe more like a

20k stone according to Dr. Matt I'm just gonna put it there cuz I don't have

anything that that fits on it's a nice big stone which I enjoy and then get

that nice and wet yeah then try something different

we're going to go ahead and build a slurry on this stone as well and let's

see how that works

now this is a really hard stone so we're gonna go ahead and hit it up with the

diamond play and then it came with a slurry stone as well so we're going to

go ahead and knock down that diamond size slurry and work it in with this and

then we're going to try the razor

alright not sure yeah let's find out how it works now I'm going to go ahead and

just get that a little wetter though alright

and we're going to do extra oats and see how that works

all right right off the bat this is a smooth hard stone so not sure what that

slurry is going to do for it well we can find out normally I use the stone under

running water and that works really well

you can look back at my Honing Video Series for all kinds of razors actually

and see the ILR in action under running water but we'd

try something different this time and see how this works this seems to be a

good stone to finish with it really puts a nice edge on a blade so it is hard

though and you have to make sure and drop that edge down on this stone and

last you can't drop the edge on this stone before you go to town with it

because that will mess up that edge and you don't have to start over and we

don't want to do that so this is actually pretty smooth that's nice it

feels good

like I said I've never be too slurry with this but it seems to be

undercutting nicely and that's good although I'm not seeing that great I

cannot to fast though so this is maybe not the quickest way to cut with this

stone do this keep trying right always learning new things that's one of the

things this channel is all about we learn new things I learned all the time

from you so keep letting me know your secrets

your tips your tricks all of those kind of things

yeah we just will keep coming we'll keep trying new things all the time

yep and we can learn together which is so cool right now I'm gonna go ahead and

thin out that slurry

we're gonna leave just a little bit in there let's see what that does

yeah now I can feel more of the stone

yeah definitely can feel more of the stone then I could with the thicker

slurry on it so that's cool

that really is feeling quite nice it's feeling quite good now let's knock down

that slurry good just go straight water one of this and

see what that does

yeah I can feel even more of the stone and now that razor is starting to stick

yeah

and now again this is little to no pressure we don't want to grind down

into the stone too much all we're trying to do is polish at this point that's all

we're trying to do you just polish that stone touch that stuff polish that blade

with the stone yeah

and these X-Strokes I have not been counting them I just go until it

feels like it's nice and sticky now I'm gonna try something different again

well there's nice bottle glycerin we're going to try that I'm just going to put

a bit of that on there and let's see what that does

cuz that should loosen things up a bit I think yeah maybe we can take it to that

next level oh yeah well it's already starting to

stick really good yeah

interesting

very nice

okay now that's really starting to stick at this point

let's try a little more glycerin and see what that does see if that loosens it up

anymore yeah it did

interesting this isn't always good to learn really is

nice okay I don't like it feels good yep now let's see yeah more water and just

try straight water again yep nice and sticky really sticky that is amazing

how that works

okay alright let's drop it on the fabric side and then put it back on the stone

he instructs okay there we go yeah still nice and sticky

yeah I think we're there

that is nice and sticky

that's good okay we're gonna stop right there

next we're going to do 30 laps one to smooth leather so we'll get that warmed

up and get going

there's 30 next up the Hanging Hair Test (HHT)

yeah from the toe to the heel it is popping hairs that's nice

I'll go ahead and give you a picture though thank you so much for sticking

Dancing on Ice finals to be rocked by shock format change - Duration: 4:02.

Dancing on Ice finals to be rocked by shock format change

And the series, fronted by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, is set to have a last minute format change which could throw the semi-finalists into chaos.

The move has even been dubbed risky by one of the shows professional skaters.

For the first time this weekend, semi-finalists Jake Quickenden, Max Evans, Kem Cetinay and Brooke Vincent will take to the ice solo to show off their technical skills on their lonesome.

The skaters will also take to the ice twice in the deep-freeze dance show to fight for the place in the final.

DoI favourite, Dan Whiston, revealed the news to OK! magazine earlier this week.

The professional was eliminated from the competition after he was partnered with Cheryl Baker earlier in the series.

He explained: Im going to let you all into a little secret – this week, theres solo skating.

Theres an opportunity for each celebrity in one of their routines, because theyre gonna do more than one, to perform 30 seconds worth of solo skating – which is a huge ask.

Theyre not allowed near their partner, out on the ice for 30 seconds..

"Im going to let you all into a little secret – this week, theres solo skating." Dan Whiston Dan added: Its gonna separate the frontrunners to those who are struggling.

I think this is one of the riskiest technical aspects weve had on the show.

Theyre stripping it back.

You cant hide anymore. Currently, X Factor alumnus star Jake is the favourite to win the show, having been the frontrunner for the entire series.

Bookers Coral are offering overwhelming off of 1-4 to win the programme after his nimble moved on the ice have propelled him right to the top of the leaderboard.

Spokesperson for Coral Harry Aitkenhead explained: There will be a few excited punters waiting on Jake getting the job done but it now looks like it is his to lose after a string of irresistible displays on the ice.

It is very rare to see somebody odds on with three contestants still to beat and that just goes to show how dominant he has been. And fans on Twitter are already convinced the competition is Jakes to lose.

Said it from day one, Jake Quickenden to win Dancing On Ice, smashed it, wrote one.

A second predicted: You will be in the final Jake 1000%! You will also WIN. Dancing on Ice continues Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
