Youtube daily report w Mar 4 2018

There are some rare diseases that exist in the world that sound like something from a

horror movie.

Imagine you had a water allergy, which meant drinking water would cause severe pain, or

if water touched your skin it would cause you to develop a painful rash.

It exists, and it's called "aquagenic urticaria."

Or what about experiencing "Laughing Death," Also known as Kura disease?

That should be self-explanatory.

Then there's "Morgellons disease", a feeling that insects are chewing, nibbling

or crawling on your skin.

That would be enough to drive you crazy, and there are some experts out there that say

it's not actually a physical disease, rather it's a kind of delusional psychosis.

Today we are going to concentrate on one of the strangest diseases known to mankind, in

this episode of the Infographics Show, What Is Stone Man syndrome?

Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button so that you can be part of our

Notification Squad.

Stone man syndrome is kind of a crude term given to a disease known as fibrodysplasia

ossificans progressiva, also known as FOP.

It's thought that the disease affects only one in every 2 million people worldwide, according

to the U.S. National Institutes of Health… and you really don't want to be one of those

unfortunate people.

If you have it, despite what you might be thinking, you don't actually turn into stone

like something from a fantasy movie.

Let us explain.

All humans start developing bone when they are in the fetal stage of life, and they continue

to grow up until a certain point in their development, stopping growing when the child

becomes an adult.

Bones grow as cartilage and muscle in the body is ossified.

The process of ossification in the dictionary, is described as being the hardening of muscle

tissue until it becomes bone.

That's how your bones grow, and your body knows when this process should end.

Unlucky for some, that is not always the case.

Their bones do not stop growing, and over the skeleton another skeleton grows.

This is known as heterotopic ossification.

There is nothing doctors can do to stop this.

People can survive a good few years with this disease, and we will talk about some of them

later.

One terrible thing for these people is they must be very careful what they do in life,

as one small injury, even a kick in the leg, can cause more bone growth.

It's thought the reason why injuries can cause fast growth is because the immune system

goes to work as it should after an injury, only for these people they have an excess

of help.

When you have stone man syndrome, when the muscles, tendons, or ligaments get damaged,

bone growth can, or most likely will, occur.

These are known as flare-ups, although the disease causes extra bone growth without such

flare-ups.

The extreme bone growth happens first on the upper part of the body, spreading to other

parts of the body as the child grows into an adult.

This can have devastating consequences, not only affecting the mobility of the sufferer,

but sometimes making it hard to speak, eat, or worse, breathe.

That's due to the rib cage being extended by bone growth.

Even worse, when surgeons have removed the extra bone, it only grows back, and at a much

faster rate, too.

It seems the body just won't have it any other way.

As for the cause, that was only discovered in 2006 after a long-time of professionals

not knowing what was going on.

It's like this.

Something called the ACVR1 gene gives instructions for producing bone morphogenetic protein type

1 receptors.

This protein controls the development of bones.

In sufferers of stone man syndrome, a mutation occurs which basically causes more of this

protein to activate when it should not.

There is a much longer and more complex explanation of this, but it's too complicated to explain

here.

This strange gene mutation is not something parents can prevent, or doctors can detect

when the child is in the womb, although it's thought a few cases have been hereditary.

According to a rare disease website, "Most patients with FOP are bedridden by age 20

and have a life expectancy of 40 years."

Even those that seem to cope the best with the disease shouldn't ever play contact

sports as kids, and they should be careful all day every day not to bang into things.

The smallest injury can create more bone growth.

As FOP progresses, most patients will be bedbound and will need constant caring.

One better-known case was that of Harry Eastlack, in the early to mid-20th century.

In a way he did turn to stone, and at the end of his life could only move his lips.

A more recent case that captured the attention of the world was that of Seanie Nammock, from

England.

She was interviewed in 2014 when she was just 18.

She was busy studying her A-levels, although, as the media put it, she would eventually

be "turned into a statue."

Her neck and back at the time were already so affected by the extra bone growth that

she could not move her hands above her waist.

"It doesn't help that I'm accident-prone," the girl told The Mirror newspaper, "I'm

always falling up or downstairs because I can't hold the bannister.

My balance is also a problem because of the way my arms are locked.

I can't put them down to break my fall either – so it can be really scary."

That didn't stop her gaining 10 GCSEs, five of them with an A grade.

Also, in the UK, one year later, 23-year old Whitney Wheldon was interviewed about living

with the condition.

The girl's disease had progressed further than the previous girl's, and now she is

wheelchair bound and struggles to move her head.

She told the Express newspaper that she still goes out to the pub with friends, stating

that she had been very active as a child.

Now, she says, "I stay positive and don't think about my body turning to stone."

Is there any hope for these people?

The American media reported in 2015 that indeed there is.

It seems that researchers are closer now to developing an antibody that stops the ACVR1

gene from giving the instructions to form new bone.

Lab mice that were genetically engineered to have the disease were given this antibody

and the extra bone formation stopped.

Up until now FOP victims have only been able to take medicines that helped with pain, but

it seems we may be on the verge of finding a way to heal FOP.

The downside is that many studies that involve animals don't show the same results in humans,

and two years later we cannot find any updated news concerning the progress of this healing

antibody.

We will leave this show on a positive note, though, and one of the most recent cases of

FOP to hit the media.

That is the case of 11-year old Caleb Burgess from Castle Rock, Colorado.

The boy started suffering from neck pains when he was just seven years old, but at eleven

he was still active and enjoyed playing baseball – although understandingly playing it the

safest way possible.

His mother said he was a happy kid, but knowing what he has – especially with the stigma

of a name such as stone man syndrome – can get him down.

"We have FOP fact sheets that tell us the worse possible case.

Those he does not like.

Other than that, he is pretty positive and happy," his mother told Fox News in 2017.

So, what are your thoughts on this disease?

How would you deal with it, if need be?

And doesn't it sound a little like the Greyscale Infection in Game of Thrones?

Democrats Sponsor Legislation To Help Banks Hide Racial Discrimination - Duration: 3:38.

The greatest enemy to the United States' Democratic Party is the Democratic Party itself.

These people who are running the Democratic Party, who are representing the Democratic

Party in the House and the Senate just can't seem to help themselves from throwing what

should be a sure thing election.

Specifically in this case, the 2018 midterms.

According to a news story in Huffington Post, Senator Tim Kaine, who was also the vice presidential

candidate on Hillary Clinton's ticket, has sponsored a piece of legislation that's going

to prevent the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from being able to keep track of racial

discrimination within the banking industry and the housing industry.

Tim Kaine, along with a dozen democrats in the Senate, which means that this piece of

legislation, which is gonna be debated next week, will pass, doesn't think that the CFPB

should be keeping track of banks who charge black people more than they charge white people

for the same apartment.

They don't think that charging a higher interest rate to people of color is a bad thing, I

guess.

They don't want us to know about that.

They don't want us to know about these dirty deceitful practices that take place within

the banking industry.

Tim Kaine, the 2016 democratic vice presidential candidate, sponsored this piece of legislation.

And a total of 12, at least, democrats in the Senate have signed onto it, saying, "We

agree with this.

We support this.

We're okay with racial discrimination in the banking industry and we don't want the CFPB

to study it or to look at it or report it."

That's not how you win elections.

Right now, democrats have a double digit lead in generic ballots for the midterms across

the country.

And you want to piss it away because you want to protect the big banks that are funding

your campaigns?

This story, without a doubt, shows us what the democrats really care about.

You know, this party that might be a little too moderate on banking issues, but don't

worry, they're super great on social issues, right?

Well, no.

That talking point just got blown out of the water here, too, because they're perfectly

fine with racial discrimination as long as it's the banks doing it because the banks

fund their campaigns.

Everything has been a lie, everything.

Tim Kaine is a corporatist.

He is not a democrat.

These other democrats that have signed on, corporatists.

That's why you lost 2016.

That's why you're probably gonna lose 2018 now.

And yes, these stories do need to be talked about.

We can't just bury them and pretend they don't exist because we want democrats to win.

That's not how this works.

This is about accountability.

This is about telling the democratic party, "No.

You're going to stop.

You're going to change.

You're going to be better.

You're going to be what you used to be," because right now, with people like Tim Kaine in the

Senate, the Democratic Party is nothing more than republican lite.

Millennials Despise Trump, And They Are Excited About Voting Him & Republicans Out Of Office - Duration: 4:19.

If Democrats are looking for a way to save the country from conservatism, then they really

need to start paying attention to millennials.

According to the latest round of poling, 62% of registered voters in the millennial generation

are overly excited about this year's mid-term elections.

Furthermore, a vast majority of millennials cannot wait to get Donald Trump out of office,

because they despise him so much, and 59% of millennials identify themselves as Democrats.

That is how you win elections.

That is your base.

That is the electorate that you need to start, I guess the word would be, pandering to.

That is who you need to tailor your policies towards.

I'm not saying change everything and forget about the people on Social Security, and Medicaid,

and Medicare, absolutely not, but you also need to start talking about things like debt-free

college and universal health care, paid time off, employee benefits, higher pay for teachers,

gun control, things that this generation wants more than any other particular generation.

The Democrats have a major opportunity right here to swoop in and let these millennials

know that they are on their side, and this is the political party that they should be

with for the rest of their lives.

Unfortunately, instead of doing that we have Democrats out there trying to hide the fact

that banks are engaging in racial discrimination.

Thirteen, at this point, U.S. Senators have said that it's perfectly fine for banks to

change higher rates to African-Americans and Latinos than they do for whites.

That's not how you're going to win over the millennials.

You're obviously talking out your ass on social issues if you're cool with banks engaging

in discrimination.

You're bad on controlling the banking industry.

You're not doing anything about climate change.

Even when Obama was president very little happened, and at this point almost all of

it's been undone.

So what are you offering this generation?

These people are excited to vote.

They want to go out there and get rid of Donald Trump, get rid of the Republicans, and put

the country back on the right track, but they don't have a political party that's willing

to do that.

So, as much as the Democrats could come in and show these voters that they're the way

of the future, I think it's time for the third parties.

I think it's time for the other political parties in the United States to swoop in and

take these voters, so that maybe in a generation or two it's not a two-party stranglehold here

in the United States, we do have something that's more representative of the individual

beliefs of American citizens not falling into just column A or just column B.

There's more to us than that, and while I myself, personally, am still a Democrat, I

am very much open to any new party out there that comes up with better solutions and a

better way forward, and I am also part of that millennial generation, and that's what

we want.

We don't care about ideologies as much as we care about policies.

We want things to change for the better.

We want this country to start working for the people who need it, not for the people

who already have everything, and right now it looks like both of our major parties are

ruling for that particular class, and that's also one of the reasons why this millennial

group is so excited about going to the polls this November, because they're going to make

their voices heard, and it's not going to be something that the Powers that Be are going

to enjoy hearing.

Evil And Savage Patrick Star Meme - The origin of the Malicious Patrick memes - Duration: 4:20.

Hello Internet and welcome to behind the meme!

Today we have a look at the savage and evil patrick star meme!

Spongebob squarepants, you know that thing that was created solely to produce an endless

supply of memes?

Oh… uh Yea and it's also a tv show or something like that I guess.

I always forgot about that part of it.

I can you blame me?

It seems like a new spongebob oriented meme pops up every few months.

So naturally with a new year it was only a matter of time before we had another one to

add to the vast library of spongebob memes.

We've had plenty of memes based on spongebob himself.

A few on mr krabs and even some based around squidward.

Who by the way…has a nose that looks like….well, you know.

But one popular character who hasn't gotten enough attention is the lovable, goofy, and

sometimes just straight up dumb.

Patrick star.

So what kind of meme do we have this time?

I'm sure it's a silly picture of patrick being a goofball and cute like he always…

is…

Or…not…

Apparently it's a picture of patrick looking like a straight up evil villain mixed with

a dash of serial killer.

Who would have guessed?

The image comes from an episode of the show that aired all the way back in season one

titled "nature pants".

In that episode spongebob gets fed up with his job and decides to live amongst the jellyfish.

Patrick soon misses his buddy and decides to do what any logical person whos best friend

decides to live with jellyfish would do and tries to catch him with a net of course.

That's what anybody would do.

" i got you now spongebob!"

"Patrick!

No!"

A specific image of patrick from that episode has began to be used as a reaction image primarily

on twitter starting in the later part of February of 2018.

With many fingers pointing to the twitter user @bvercetti_ as being one of the first

examples to use the image.

When she tweeted it out along with the text of….

Oh…wow….uhhh….I don't know if I can share this one with you guys.

Lets just say the text describes a situation that isn't safe for your grandma or kid

brother to read.

Nasty!

And since then the image has been used to accompany text that expresses rather sinister

yet relatable situations that aren't as dirty.

Like when you accidentaly drop ice on the floor and decide to kick it under the fridge

while nobody is looking because you're too lazy to pick it up?

Yeah, we've all been there.

And I know what you're saying.

"No not me.

I would never do that!".

You are guilty as hell.

Your cat saw you do it!

Or like the times when you just don't feel like cleaning the dirty dishes right away.

Kinda like I did this whole past weekend.

YOLO

This meme applies to a vast amount of relatable situations we all feel or can relate to.

For those of you still in school.

There's a patrick meme for that.

For those of you who are working.

There's even one for you.

For those of you who are parents.

Have no fear, You are covered.

For those of you who are in relationships.

here is one for you.

You quickly begin to see just why the meme has become so popular lately.

It is relatable and easy to digest.

Kinda like pizza.

Which this dude pointed out that patrick looks just like when flipped upside down.

Just with the addition of eyes and a mustache.

There's nothing odd or strange to see here, that's just par for the course when it comes

to memes.

So there you have it!

What started off as a goofy and lovable character from most people's childhood, has somehow

turned into the perfect expression of our deepest darkest and most evil side we all

choose to hide.

But hey!

That's the internet for you and on the internet memes are king!

Thank you all so very much for watching!

Make sure to subscribe so you can catch my next video and stay up to date on all your

favorite memes and trends!

Much love and appreciation!

I'll catch you beautiful people next time!

Best Markets to Invest In: North Carolina - Duration: 7:51.

Shh, today is such a super secret for the best markets to invest in. I'm investing

in a place and in a zone that most people don't even really know is a great

market to invest in. I can't wait to share it with you.

Alright, back with the best markets to invest in and today I'm going to take you

to a little old place in North Carolina called Charlotte. Now Charlotte is a

really really great market to be investing in and buying real estate and for

some very specific reasons, let's start again at that macro level. If you've been

enjoying this series and learning about where I'm investing and why I'm investing

there and the returns that I'm getting, this market is different than those

other ones, there are some things that I like about it.

How many of you like the idea of making a lot of money on new construction that

is still being built at a price point that leaves you with equity and a

monster cash flow? That's what we're finding right now in Charlotte. So

I'm doing something a little different in this market, it is a niche market,

we're transacting a lot of real estate every single month there and

let's just talk a little bit about Charlotte. First of all, Charlotte direct

has an 842,000 person population so it is

right now the largest city in North Carolina but it is the third fastest

major city in all of the United States so Charlotte direct has 842,000

person population, that makes it the largest city in the

state but more importantly that, it is the third fastest growing population in

America. Now if you've been watching some of the other videos on the best markets

to invest in, you're going to realize that there's a pattern here. I like

being in markets where the cost of living is down,

I like being in markets where the population has a lot of upward growth

trend but I really like being in the markets where there's a lot of

population growth and one of the reasons why I love that population growth is

because more people equal more houses, more houses equal building them at the

cost of rebuild and the cost to rebuild is based on a

commodities market and so lumber is more expensive today than it was then because

commodities will always increase and be on the rise and so this is a pattern

that I like to find myself in but in addition to that, North Carolina is also

a special place because it's like the second largest business banking center

for the entire United States. You got headquarters for a Bank of

America there, headquarters for Wells Fargo there, that makes this a really

attractive place for us to be because we've got great population growth, it's a

fast growing area and what am I doing out here in North Carolina?

Well, in this specific market, I'm capitalizing on the rebuild market and

on brand new homes so we're specifically buying homes that we're buying below the

median there between $180,000 and $220,000 so right at and below

that median but because they're new build, we're able to get away with these

incredible growth markets. We're doing 15% to 20% on our growth on

brand new homes which by the way, on a new build making that kind of growth,

that's really exciting. Think for just a moment about what

happens when you drive a car off the car lot, the value goes down. Well very

similarly in the real estate market, when you buy a new home, the value doesn't go

down but I'll tell you that when you're buying it brand new, you're buying it out

of premium meaning, you're not getting at a discount because it costs something to

build. This market has something very special happening where we're actually

buying it in these phases with a good equity stance but we're also buying

these homes with an even greater cash flow. Why? Because it's a very very strong

powerhouse rental market. All these factors, they've come together and they

ultimately helped us determine what makes the most sense so once a while

I'll meet investors that will be like, "Oh, Kris, you know if I buy a home, you know,

how does age factor into a home?" And in this video, let me just talk about that

for just a moment because I'll tell you, I once bought a home that was built in

1907 and that house had repairs like you probably can't imagine, it was one of the

first homes that I bought, I got it at a ridiculous deal, I actually sold it and

made a tremendous profit years later on it but the upkeep on that home well I

owned it was not really fun, it was ten thousand here is two thousand here, I

mean, they had all old electrical, this isn't voltage that and

and the plumbing was old and it was shiplap versus drywall, this is an old

home so I think I probably made $60,000, $70,000 by the time I sold it several

years later but the maintenance on that home was horrific. If you were to ask me

today, "Kris, will you buy an old home like that again?" Yes but only at the

right price. You see, a property like that, I need to have a way better equity

position on it and I'm probably more interested in letting it go, flipping it

and selling it but I am doing any kind of long-term hold on it. Homes like that

if you have to put in $30,000 or $40,000 or

$50,000 on a remodel, that's not my jam, that's more than cosmetic, you

know, stopping on paint, getting new carpet is one thing, replacing everything

down to the stud is a different thing but on the other extreme, we've got new

homes and there are some people that are these I don't know,

I called them real estate investor romantics. I want a new home and I want

the granite countertop and I want it to be a home that, yeah, you would live in.

Guess what,it's an investment, it's not for you, it's for some other human being,

do not ever buy a home that you would live in or a home that you would want is

your dream home. It's like, "Oh my gosh, we could put in the solid surface but if I

put in granite, I know it's double the money but it looks so pretty." Pretty is

not going to get you more money out of that property, all it will do is increase the

perceived value which will mean that you can sell it faster but you're not going

to recuperate money out a lot of those things. If you got a toilet made out of

porcelain and a toilet made out of gold, gold does not increase the value of the

home. If you put copper, gutters up, it does not increase the value of the home

because the home needs to have a functional toilet and a toilet that cost

$50,000 because it's gold-plated or just porcelain that came

out of Home Depot for $79 will not impact the value of the home so don't

ever put a gold toilet in a property. So a new property, a lot of people get

excited about that, personally, if a home has been built you know, if you take a

look at 1970, 1980, when they started updating their electrical systems, their

plumbing systems, that's a big deal for me.

So once I start getting to a home that was built in the 90's and the 2000's, hey,

I'm not anticipating a lot of problems on that house because we worked

through a lot of our modern-day problems, about 40 to 50 years ago so anytime I'm

buying older than that, it does become a consideration. Am I going to ask for a

better deal? Yes, I am. Why? Because I'm going to have more costs, I'm going to have a

few more headaches on my property manager will and so, it all gets taken

into account. Kris, would you buy a home from the 1600's? I would for a buck,

wouldn't you? Plus it's probably historically, you'd probably make it a

museum, who knows, right? Alright, so what I'm really trying to tell you here

is that, I like North Carolina because there are new homes in there's new

construction and that just means again low maintenance but it's not that big of

a draw of difference than then a home from 1990 because they're both

maintenance wise going to perform really

well however, getting a new construction project that still has these high ROI

and these high cash flow because the equity play, the growth play and because

of the rental market, these are fantastic properties, this is my first time in my

life actually in the last 15 years of investing I've ever bought new homes and

have them perform like older homes so that makes really this market very

unique and very special, this is one of my personal hot markets that I like to

be in and thank you for joining me today. What a unique opportunity, right? Like

getting amazing deals on brand new homes. If you want to learn more about that,

Former Staffers Say InfoWars & Alex Jones Engage In Racial And Sexual Harassment - Duration: 3:23.

According to new complaints that have been filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity

Commission, Infowars, and its founder, Alex Jones, is nothing more than a hotbed of racial

and sexual harassment.

Specifically, two employees, one a Jewish man, the other a black woman, have filed complaints

against Infowars and Alex Jones for constant harassment during their time at Infowars.

The first woman, Ashley Beckford, African-American woman, she claims that Alex Jones once grabbed

her butt and said, "Who wouldn't want a black wife?"

Other people employed at Infowars at the time too also engaged in saying racial slurs to

this woman while she was there.

One of them allegedly received a pair of shoes with swastikas on it that he would proudly

flash in front of her, according to her complaint.

The other employee, Rob Jacobson, was a Jewish man.

He claims that Alex Jones would refer to him as the resident Jew, the Jewish individual,

and Yacobson, and he also had Photoshopped his face onto the picture of a Hasidic Jew

and sent it around the office so everybody could make fun of the Jewish guy there.

He also identified him as the Jewish employee when Alex Jones interviewed former KKK Grand

Wizard David Duke.

That is what these official complaints are saying has happened at Infowars, and to be

honest, there is not a single part of me that is surprised by any of this reporting.

To me, the bigger question is will anything happen to Alex Jones and Infowars as a result

of this?

The answer most likely is absolutely not.

Their audience is not going to believe this.

I guarantee you Jones, if he hasn't already, is going to go on air, say that this is just

a smear tactic, maybe those people never even worked for him, but all they're trying to

do is take down Infowars.

"That's what this is about, ladies and gentlemen.

You can't ..." whatever he says.

But the bottom line is that Alex Jones already has two strikes against him on YouTube.

One more is going to result in Alex Jones himself and Infowars being banned from that

channel.

I think this story?

I think that needs to be strike three.

I think we need to crack down on people like this.

The #MeToo movement has taken down a lot of people, and if what this young woman says

is true, that would be enough to get Alex Jones booted out of any other media outlet

in this country.

As far as the anti-Semitism, that also would do it on its own.

And when you put the two together, it paints a very clear picture of a disgusting individual

running a disgusting news site for a horribly disgusting audience that is willing to believe

anything that this serial harasser claims.
