Youtube daily report w Mar 4 2018

Hi, I'm Mike.

Everyone is asleep, its 5:45am and today I get to take you with me for a day in the life

of Our Wyoming Life.

Good morning and welcome to our Wyoming life, here we are in the shop and today I get to

drag you with me for an entire day of ranching in Wyoming.

Of course, ranching isn't all I do every day around here.

I have a family that needs taken care of and of course since starting this YouTube thing,

well that's changed things a lot also and you are going to be there for all of it today.

If this is your first time here, please subscribe and join us on a journey that we only started

a few years ago.

Come explore the ranch life with us and escape the ordinary.

Today we have a busy day, its Thursday.

That means tonight we have a live stream on youtube where we get a chance to sit down

and hang out with you, answer questions and keep you up to date on whats going on out

here.

They are always a lot of fun, and if you have never had a chance to visit one live, we invite

you to do so.

We do them every other week on Thursdays at 7pm mountain time.

So today we have to be done by lets say around 6, and back in the house to set up for the

livestream.

We have a super full day ahead of us and like most days around here it starts with feeding

the cows.

Sunrise is officially at 6:30 this morning but first light is right around 6 oclock and

this morning the cows look hungry, they are waiting for us at the gate and as soon as

net wrap is cut and pulled off we can get to laying out the food.

This is one of my favorite parts of the day, especially when the weather is nice.

We are expecting temps up into the low 40's little wind, sunshine on and off, but for

March in Wyoming, I'll it for sure.

With theses cows fed we can now head back to the shop and grab out last sack of food

for the steers.

This adds something to our list for the day, we are going to have to replenish our supply

so that means later we have a trip to town to get some more for them but for now we head

out through the barn, and feed these guys their corn oats and barley for the day.

After getting the steers their breakfast, it's a quick walk over to the chicken house,

where the chickens and geese come out to greet

the day.

The heifers currently live right next to the chicken house so they are our next stop.

These group of girls are due any day now.

They have been pregnant for the last 9 months and this is their first time.

We keep them very close to the barn mostly for the ease of checking them, but also if

one has any problem with calving then we can bring them in to the barn pretty quickly where

we have the tools at hand to help them out.

While we are here we are going to fill up their water and while that's filling we

are going to run over to the house and get the gator, which I left out last night and

is thoroughly frosted up.

I quickly scrape the windshield with a credit card, and we can head over to check waters

across the road, the calves water gets turned on and we stop and check the bull water, which

is good and doesn't need filling today.

Back in the shop we get a breather while we wait for waters to fill, Erin has a meeting

this morning and has to leave the house about 8.

She's meeting with the state assistant director of sensible nutrition, where they are going

to talk about farmers markets role in feeding the less fortunate.

With the clock ticking on that, its back out to turn off waters.

First back over to the calf water, turning that off then I catch a glimpse of Mackenzies

bus coming over the hill.

I haven't seen the kids yet today and this is my last chance to see Mackenzie until tonight

so I usually try to make it to walk her out of the house and onto the bus, to see her

off for her day.

With Erin getting ready to leave soon, I am going to get to hang out with Grace and Lincoln

until its time for Grace to go to school, we are going to take her to school, which

means we need Erins car because her car has the kids car seats in it and my truck does

not.

So Erin will take my truck to her meeting.

Shes probably not going to want to take a stock trailer too.

So lets get that disconnected for her.

So far so good, our day is coming together nicely.

And now we can take the truck back to the house, grab the gator once again and go and

shut off heifer water.

Then its back into the house, where Lexi our dog meets me and we are just in time to catch

Erin heading out the door.

She will be back this afternoon and until then its time to get some kid time and get

some work done in the house.

The kids want to color so we get to printing out some coloring pages for them and with

Graces help, we pick out a few.

And the kids settle in to their coloring project.

And I settle into some youtube.

We get around 50 new comments per day on YouTube and around 10 emails, also 20 or so comments

and inboxes on Facebook.

So first I get to answering those.

Sometimes the going is slow.

But it doesn't bother me, we will get done when we get done and I know that everyone

understands that and most are very patient about replies.

Soon I am all caught up, for now and I can get into working on our new channel trailer

which will be debuting in a few weeks, the phone calls start to roll in and before we

know it time to load up kids and take Grace to school.

After dropping off Grace, Lincoln heads up to spend some time with Grandma and we are

back to work.

Erin's new high tunnel is supposed to arrive today at 3pm, of course its early.

So we head out to get it unloaded out of the back of the transport truck.

It comes in 3 rather large boxes.

2 of which have been somewhat destroyed in transit, which we find out as soon as we try

to take the first one off the truck.

The second pallet is just as damaged and of course falls apart just like the first.

The third box however is intact and comes right off the truck.

But we do have a mess to clean up.

All of these parts need to be inventoried to make sure we have everything, but for now

we are going to take the intact box, which holds the cover for the high tunnel into the

shop.

The rest we are going to load up and store in the sales barn for now, until we can get

the inventory taken care of.

Loading it piece by piece and hauling it over to the sales barn, dropping it off, then headed

back for more.

Three trips should do, and it may not look pretty but its here.

That will make Erin happy.

Now that Erin is back and the pickup is back we can head into town to get the food for

the steers that we ran out of earlier.

A quick trip to town takes us to our local feed and ranch supply store where we can get

a ton of corn oats and barley, or COB for them which will last them a few weeks.

The pallet is loaded onto the truck, using a forklift and we are out, and back home.

Where we can unload it, but first we need to cake the cows.

We have to move the cake trailer anyway to bring in the new pallet of food, so we might

as well cake them while we are at it.

Loading 300 pounds of supplemental food for the cows, full of vitamins and protein they

need to keep themselves and their calves healthy.

Once our cake has been delivered we can drop off the trailer.

Warmer temps today have starting the snow melting, and it's a bit messy out in the

field, so we try to lay down the cake in the driest parts of the field.

Caking for me usually means the beginning of what I like to call my rounds on the ranch.

Everyday, I like to put eyes on each and every animal we have around here.

Caking the cows gets them all lined up for me to check out and we can take a quick trip

around looking for anything that might catch our eye.

Then its back over to the heifers, checking on them once again, I'm very sure they get

tired of me poking my nose in their business constantly, but the minute I decide not to

check on them, that's when they will need me.

That's how it usually works so they will learn to put up with me over the next month

or so as will the cows, when they start calving as well.

After the heifers, then we can check on our steer and heifer calves, that we kept back

year.

Theses heifers wont be ready to breed until summer and the steers will raised and finished

for next years beef production.

Then comes another of my best parts of the day.

Everyday I spend a few minutes with the horses.

They don't get worked a lot during the winter months, and we keep them purely for recreational

riding but with the amount of snow and ice we have on the ground we choose to not risk

injury to them and let them live out the winter in their corrals and pasture.

Each day I bring them over a few treats, I get to hang out with them and they get some

attention that they need.

Brea is our quarter horse and Heiro is a paint-draft mix.

They are both extremely friendly and we all look forward to our daily visits.

The clock is ticking as our livestream is coming up quick and we still need to get the

pallet of food off of the pickup, first moving the pallet of cake out of the way, then heading

out.

This ton of food is very close to the tipping weight of the bobcat and we have to be careful

getting it off the pickup and into the shop.

That done we can fire up the incinerator to burn some used net wrap before heading back

into the house, catching the kids having dinner and Erin making ours.

Looks like French Dip.

Dinner is served as Erin and I get a chance to catch up on our day.

I get to tell her how her brand new high tunnel is laying in a pile in the sales barn and

she tells me all about her morning meetings.

Before we know it, its time to send the kids up to grandmas house, along with the dog,

a short walk across the yard and into grandmas garage.

The computer is quickly set up along with the camera, wires are run and software is

fired up.

Erin gathers up the cats, who will plan to jump on us at some point in the livestream

and the clock keeps ticking.

And before you know it, its time to go.

With the livestream complete, Erin is heading up to the grandmas to get the kids and I am

headed back out to finish up a couple more chores for the night.

We need to close up the chicken house and check those heifers again.

Each and every day on the ranch is totally different, and most days you never know what

to expect.

When it comes to living the life you love it all comes down to the little things.

Being able to stop by the house and hang out with kids for a few minutes, or visiting the

horses, or even driving across a field.

I never would have expected this life to grow on me the way it has over the years since

Erin and I came here.

We were blank slates, thrown into a life we knew nothing about and I really believe that

we were able to take this life, and make it into not only something we can live with but

something we love.

So take the little things in your life, no matter what they may be, a sunrise, a phone

call with a friend, maybe just some peace and quiet.

Cause when it all comes down to it, every day is just a series of little things and

the little things make big things happen.

I never in a million years would have guessed that life for me would have become a juggling

act of ranching, kids, family, and YouTube, but now that it is.

I wouldn't have it any other way, if even one of those things were missing there would

be a huge hole in my life.

We are very lucky to have what we do, and we are lucky to have you along for the ride.

Thanks for taking your time to follow me for the day, I am wiped out and done but I hope

that you have the energy left to like this video, find us on Facebook and continue with

us as we explore the ranch life and escape the ordinary.

Until next time, have a great week and thanks for joining us in our Wyoming life.

EGYPT 2018: POISONED WATER IN ALEXANDRIA (English subtitles) - Duration: 10:39.

I do not know whether it is visible or not, but the precipitate, not even a precipitate, but the color of the water is yellow.

As always and usually it happens in Egypt, the Egyptian government, the country's leadership, the city's leadership does not warn about anything.

They say that everything is normal, rejects everything.

I've just bought it, too. I have two 1.5 liter bottles of water. If necessary I will buy more.

The question is of course rhetorical, how to stay alive in Egypt?

Yesterday my husband came in the evening from work and as if jokingly tells me,

I did not call you today not to upset you. My mom called me today and said that there was poisoned water in Alexandria.

Well, I called my friend, who works for the company, which is engaged in water purification and maintenance of safety.

This friend said that this is all nonsense and that all this scandal is connected with companies that sell mineral and distilled water.

Allegedly this is their joke, which they dissolved. I took this into consideration. And today on Friday, when he left I boiled water and looked.

In fact, the water is yellow. Yellow water flows from the tap.

I do not know whether it is visible or not, but the precipitate, not even a precipitate, but the color of the water is yellow. At the bottom it is especially very visible.

This water I have since yesterday. The water is yellow.

And I called my mother and said that the water was strange. Now I went to the store and thought I'd ask in the store.

And just when I went to the store, I discovered that everywhere in the stores there was a transfer of water.

I do not know whether the campaign is somehow or not, i.e. duck it or not. But the water is really suspicious.

Now I'll show you the shops in which sell the water. People are all worried.

Look at the video, someone from the Egyptians took the river Nile. And what happens.

What a mess in the river. In addition to the fact that there is some strange foam in the water, this woman who shot the video, she asks the fishermen in the river.

She asked them what was wrong with the fish. They said that the fish was completely dead. Already a few days ago.

Then you can see that there are bags. Sacks filled with dead fish from the Nile River.

So it's a personal matter for everyone to believe or not. But I bought water for Nestlé.

And I use only purchased water for cooking and drinking.

That's how in all stores there are boxes of water. Now we'll go to another store.

In all the shops are full of water (boxes). Stand from bottom to top. And all products of the company Nestle.

Here again everything is filled with Nestlé water boxes.

And here are empty halons from the water.

In principle, what else can you expect? Garbage is not removed. Here I go here a lot of garbage.

Just horror. Everything is scattered.

By the way the Egyptian water is here. This is Egyptian water.

Well, I'll try to reach my neighbors. And I know what the situation is.

Well, all the neighbors said that drinking water is not good. From the government as usual no statements. They say that the water is normal.

Also the neighbor said, two days better not to drink water from the crane. Buy in the store or use a filter.

And even with a filter, you cannot drink water, but only cook on it.

The neighbor I just met, said that in fact there was an accident.

The Nile River is all dirty. WATER YELLOW. The water is actually yellow. I'll show you now.

I even have boiled water since yesterday in a glass. I do not know whether it will be visible on the light.

I do not know whether it is visible or not, but the precipitate, not even a precipitate, but the color of the water is yellow. At the bottom it is especially very visible.

This water I have since yesterday. The water is yellow.

This is the situation.

As always and usually it happens in Egypt, the Egyptian government, the country's leadership, the city's leadership does not warn about anything.

They say that everything is normal, rejects everything.

And the rescue of drowning people, the work of the drowning themselves. And so in all areas absolutely in Egypt

Therefore, the Egyptians do not trust their leadership. And they are trying to somehow resolve the situation before the situation stabilizes.

I also bought two bottles of water.

I think that the situation in Egypt is overpopulated, especially in cities. So I think that management thinks, one million more, one less is not important.

Therefore, our neighbor in the house, too, recommended a couple of days to refrain from drinking water. Which is what we will do.

I also wanted to say that it reminded me very much of the situation when our government of the Russian Federation banned air communication with Egypt.

The Egyptians all asked, they asked that Russia open the direction of Egypt for tourists from Russia.

Our government said, well we will open the direction. But the main thing is the admission of security experts from the Russian Federation to check Egyptian airports.

To which I understand the government was refused. And so the air service of the RF-Egypt is not yet established.

The Egyptians want to do everything in their own way, hide, have their secrets, while having tourism.

And like in the country so all is well.

The Tragic Story Of Sons Of Guns - Duration: 6:32.

Discovery Channel's hit show Sons of Guns ran from 2011 to 2014, and centered on a gun

store in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and its family staff.

But the success of the series masked disturbing truths behind the scenes, and it all came

crashing down in 2014.

How did this show rise so quickly and fall so far, and what are the cast members doing

now?

Here's the tragic story behind Sons of Guns.

Tough beginnings

In 1999, William Hayden was renting a warehouse that had a lot of surplus space when he got

the idea to turn the extra room into a storefront for selling guns.

Hayden put all of his savings into starting the business, an investment of about $40,000

which was supplemented with purchases on credit, bank loans, and personal loans from friends.

Everything was going swimmingly—until the business was robbed.

Without any insurance, Hayden had a building with no stock, and no money to buy more.

Worse, police discovered that the robbery had been an inside job.

Exactly who did it is something Hayden has declined to share—but the close-to-home

betrayal started a chain of events that led to the bitter end of his first marriage, according

to Hayden's book Sons of Guns: Straight Shootin' Stories from the Star of the Hit Discovery

Series.

Hayden was soon broke and homeless, living in the back of his empty store.

Finding success

By 2003, there were still years to go before Hayden would be out from under his creditors,

but things were finally starting to look up.

When his daughter Stephanie turned 18, he brought her into the business—initially,

against her will, since she was already working a number of different jobs.

But Hayden got his way, and Stephanie joined the business on a full-time basis.

Eventually, Hayden rented a new property in Baton Rouge which became the storefront for

his own shop: Red Jacket Firearms.

The new store was the final evolution of what Hayden had set out to do from the beginning,

putting an emphasis on manufacturing exotic weapons rather than simply trading in them.

Enter Discovery

In 2009, Hayden uploaded a YouTube video of himself shooting one of his favorite guns.

The video caught the attention of the Discovery Channel, and within months, Sons of Guns was

a go.

Practically overnight, Red Jacket Firearms became one of the most famous firearms shops

in the world.

Legal trouble

Sons of Guns wasn't on the air for long before it stirred up trouble in the news.

The production set off a minor incident at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport when a member

of the crew left a rental truck loaded with firearms and explosives unattended outside.

Federal officials shut down roads leading to the terminal for two hours as canine and

bomb squad units staged a response area nearby.

The gun shop also ran into trouble when the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms discovered

that 10 guns registered to Red Jacket Firearms were missing and unaccounted for—major violations

for a gun business.

This time, there was no robbery to blame for the missing weaponry, so the agency came down

hard on the company, revoking their licenses.

But that was just the start of Hayden's legal battles.

Shocking crimes

On August 11, 2014, Will Hayden was arrested on charges of abuse.

Within weeks, an additional charge was added.

By August 27, Will Hayden had been legally separated from control of Red Jacket, and

Discovery announced that the show had been canceled.

After initially defending Hayden, Stephanie revealed that her father had done the same

thing to her as well, and Hayden's young daughter was removed from his custody for good.

Stephanie appeared on Dr. Phil and addressed her father's true nature as a predator, saying:

"I'm very afraid of him.

I think that he has spent his life manipulating people and hurting people…

He controlled my entire world."

Bad business

Five months after his arrest, more criminal acts from Hayden's past came to light.

Hayden had entered into secret licensing agreements to trade on Red Jacket's name and covertly

earn money for himself.

He was also misappropriating tens of thousands of dollars' worth of funds from the business

charge account to buy inventory for a side business.

All the violations compelled Red Jacket COO Joe Meaux and his remaining business partners

to file a breach of contract lawsuit against the company's founder.

Meaux later said:

"I can't think why he thought he would get away with all this, unless he's a psychopathic

megalomaniac."

Hayden was ordered by a state judge to reimburse his former business partners for more than

$130,000.

Life sentence

On April 7th, 2017, Hayden was unanimously found guilty of all charges and sentenced

to two life sentences plus 40 years.

On July 12th, he was sentenced to life again, plus 10 years, for a similar charge.

Hayden pled not guilty to all charges in his first trial in January 2015, but the trial

took years to resolve.

By the time of his sentencing, his first accuser was 15 years old.

Facing Hayden in court, she reportedly became ill multiple times during her devastating

testimony, saying:

"He ruined my life.

I'm never going to be the same, but I'm a survivor, not a victim."

More arrests

In a tragic twist, Stephanie and her husband Kris, who was also a cast member, were also

both arrested in 2014.

Both of their charges stemmed from one incident, when the father of one of Stephanie's children

noticed that his nine-year-old son had a large bruise along his side.

Allegedly, the wound was a result of being struck with a belt by his stepfather, Kris.

Kris was charged with cruelty to juveniles, and Stephanie was charged with being a principal

to cruelty to juveniles—felony offenses, if the charges had stuck.

This particular episode in a long string of disasters didn't last very long, and the charges

were dropped within weeks.

After Red Jacket

With Hayden out of the way, the sons of guns have moved forward with their lives—and

their businesses.

Meaux changed Red Jacket's name to Meaux Guns & Ammo, also opening up another custom arms

company called Aklys Defense.

Kris and Stephanie turned their attentions to another gun store, Ford's Firearms, operated

by Kris' father Gary.

Glenn Fleming, meanwhile, spent years producing his own content on YouTube with a channel

called The Gunners Vault.

Learning to SURF in IRELAND | #RoleDeHoje | Jhonatan Lopes - Duration: 7:21.

I came here to Bundoran, west coast of Ireland, one of the best places in

Europe to surf, to learn how to to surf.

This is the Role de Hoje.

I arrived at the hostel, but, however, there is no one.

I can not checkin, find my room, bathroom, there is no one.

Fear!

We started this trip well, huh. I'm going to bed in the living room.

It has a dark room and a large sofa. Tomorrow the staff will wake up and understand nothing.

That's it. See you tomorrow.

I could not stand it and came to look for the rooms. This one was open. So, what can we do?

We have room!

I'm just imagining the shit tomorrow.

See you tomorrow!

So cancel the whole story. The owner appeared drunk here asking what I was doing in the room.

Then I explained the whole situation to him. I showed identity, we talked.

But I have no key.

The chair is being my key.

It is. I am still alive.

Let's go to sleep. Now I hope I can sleep.

Come on. See you tomorrow!

Although it makes no sense, someone created in Rio de Janeiro.

a teenage dream that was surfed in the cold west coast of Ireland.

At 8 in the morning I was awake I borrowed longboard and I went to Bundoran Surf Hostel

I was afraid to get into the water, but the temperature was very nice

in fact it was much cooler outside and RJ waters are very cold

So for me to exceed 12 degrees was very quiet

from there we went to warm up and have the first class right there in the sand.

The instructors were humorous and made jokes with our names all the time.

I ended up turning John Travolta.

And the jokes that we understood, because the Irish accent is very complicated to understand

Cómo aprender inglés cuando no tienes tiempo 🙄 - Duration: 10:32.

Hey, how's it going?

I'm sure that if you're watching this video

that you're one of our super motivated English students, right?

And you started the year like this:

I'm sorry about that.

Well, very good!

You have the goal of improving your English this year.

And you have a lot of motivation.

Eventually my local cafe...

But as time passes, it seems that it gets harder and harder for us to find the time,

continue with the same motivation.

Here's a tea for you there.

Okay, thank you.

Sorry, sorry.

It's the same story every year.

That's why in this video we've collaborated with lingoda

to help you to integrate

English into your everyday life.

If you don't know lingoda

it's an online language academy

accessible from anywhere in the world

with native and qualified professors

of French, English, German and Spanish.

I've been taking some Spanish classes.

Isabel has been taking some English classes.

We've tried it for you guys

and the truth is we love this platform.

When you sign up for lingoda

every month you receive a packet of private classes

and in groups.

And you can choose the days and times that are best for you.

It's open 24/7 as we say in English.

The group classes have a very reduced number of student

therefore you're going to be able to participate more

than in some traditional academies.

If you want to try lingoda

with the code AMIGOS

they're going to give you a €50 discount.

You're welcome.

Okay, so let's get started with today's video.

So, your alarm goes off at let's say 7 o'clock in the morning and

what's the first thing you do when your alarm goes off?

Well you snooze for at least 10 minutes, don't you?

Well, yeah, 10 minutes is fine,

but don't snooze for any longer.

If you're a super motivated student

and you want to take advantage of your morning to the maximum,

what can you do Isabel?

Well, you can wake up to a happy song in English.

That's a great idea.

But don't just listen you need to

sing as well, right?

Sing along.

Yes.

And this will also help you to get up in a really good mood.

You should sing an upbeat song,

and you should dance as well,

and that way you can wake up.

Okay, so after you've sung your song

what do you do Isabel?

Well usually you have a shower

and maybe you have to iron a shirt for work,

you need to get dressed

do your hair,

maybe put some makeup on.

So, while you're getting ready in the morning

don't just get ready in silence.

This is time you could be spending listening to the radio in English or

podcasts in English.

There are thousands of podcasts about any topic you can imagine.

Welcome everyone to the School of Greatness podcast.

Now you're ready to leave the house.

And so-- Well, I'm not ready to leave the house

without a coffee and some breakfast.

Oh, yeah.

So, while you're waiting for your toast

don't just stand there.

What could you do?

Have a look at the BBC news app

and check the news

while you're, yeah, waiting for the toast

or maybe while you're waiting for the kettle to boil.

It's something that you can integrate into your routine really easily

because most people read the news in the morning

in Spanish.

So just change it to English

and there you go, super easy.

Or if you don't have time or you are a really quick eater

then have a look at some quotes, maybe,

some inspirational quotes in English.

I quite like reading the Oscar Wilde ones in the morning

because they make me laugh.

Some cause happiness wherever they go;

others whenever they go.

So, now you finally made it out of your house.

And maybe you miss the train

you have to wait for ten minutes

or maybe you're driving and you're stuck in traffic.

If you're commuting on the train

that's the perfect opportunity to do some reading in English.

If you're driving or cycling don't read a book, that could be dangerous.

But you could listen to an audio book in English.

So, when you get off the train

or you're there looking for your ticket,

you know you you don't waste a minute.

Okay, so it's nine o'clock and you've arrived at work.

Can you do anything while you're at university or at work?

Well, there's not much you can do at work or at uni

but maybe you have some colleagues who are not Spanish speakers

so you can practice with them.

Oh good morning Isabel.

How are you?

Good morning!

How are you Jonathon?

Fine. How was the weekend.

Great, yeah. Did you get my email?

We're gonna need to send another invoice to the company

because they didn't get it.

I'm sure I sent it yesterday.

But, yeah, no problem.

I'll send it again.

You could carry on reading your book in English

if your boss isn't around.

Instead of working?

Isabel?

Okay, so then it's lunchtime,

and if you're lucky your company gives you free English classes.

But if your boss is quite tight-fisted

then maybe you don't get any English classes.

So why not have a class on lingoda?

So this is the perfect time when you are still fresh

during the day

to practice your speaking skills.

My name's Hunter, nice to meet you.

Originally I'm from Southern California.

I love travelling, yes, yes.

And obviously you don't need to do this every day

if you just do this a couple of times a week

this is going to mean an incredible boost

for your English fluency by the end of the year.a

Are you coming for lunch?

Uh....

No, not today.

I've got my class in ten minutes.

I'm just gonna grab a sandwich.

Maybe tomorrow.

So now, you might have to work for a few more hours,

and then you finish work.

Yes! It's time to go home!

It's time to get out the office.

Imagine you've finished work, and you have a doctor's appointment and

you have to wait in a waiting room.

What could you do Isabel?

This is pretty boring,

but don't worry because it's a great opportunity to keep learning English.

For example, you can use an app to memorize phrasal verbs.

Hi, Vanessa. Yeah, you can send her in.

Isabel Carrasco?

Yes, it's me!

Okay, let's imagine another day

you decide to go to the gym after work.

What could you do at the gym Isabel?

Well at the gym,

if you go on the static bicycle, for example,

you can play some short films on your phone.

I don't recommend it if you're running,

if you are on the, how do you call it?

On the treadmill.

The treadmill.

Every time I hear a new word,

every time I come across a new word,

I always add it to an app.

So, I have the new word with the translation or maybe with a phrase.

You can also have a notebook with you during the day,

so you write down the word.

And then at night while I'm cooking dinner

I go through a test.

So, I test myself on those words

to see if I remember all of them.

So I do this every day and it only takes 10 minutes

And it's an amazing way to increase your vocabulary.

And it's also quite fun because it's a challenge.

So, I take it quite seriously.

Well, that's all for today,

we hope you've enjoyed this video

and that you're turning it over in your head

thinking how you're going to integrate English in your life starting from tomorrow.

And that you stop seeing English as something boring,

like something that can become a nightmare

and that you start to enjoy it and make it part of your routine.

And if you have any advice of your own,

please let us know in the comments

and that way everyone can benefit.

Of course!

And if you're interested in trying lingoda

and start classes this week

remember with the code AMIGOS you'll have a €50 discount.

Okay, we'll put the link below in our description.

So tomorrow's an exciting day isn't it?

Yes, tomorrow morning you're gonna wake up

and you're going to have a whole new routine.

Yes, try not to do everything on the first day

because you might go a little bit crazy.

But little by little.

Yeah, by the end of the year you're gonna master your English.

Hope it's given you some ideas and we'll see you soon.

Bye! See you! Chao!

Isabel where are you?

We're waiting at your house (?)

Are you coming

Come!

Where are you?

Why don't you answer?

A Day in the Life - Wyoming Rancher & Youtuber - Duration: 15:52.

We don't need God or religion to know right from wrong | Michael Shermer - Duration: 5:13.

Science and good and evil, good and bad, right and wrong, murder, all these things... human

moral values.

Well, I wrote a book about this, The Moral Arc.

I am what's called a moral realist: I think there are real moral values out there to be

discovered.

Now, not "out there" in the cosmos for astronomers to discover, I'm talking about

in human nature, in human social nature.

And I'll just give you a super simple example that I can't believe anybody would disagree

with, uh, this.

And it begins with Abraham Lincoln's defense of why slavery is wrong.

And he said simply, "If slavery is not wrong, nothing is wrong."

And I would agree and go further with a more recent example, if the Holocaust is not wrong,

nothing is wrong.

Now, moral relativists or moral philosophers who are not moral realists, they don't want

to be called relativists—there's other positions, but let's just leave it at there's

other positions then moral realism.

Are you seriously going to argue that there's some condition in which the Holocaust was

okay, that it was acceptable?

Now, now, mind you I'm talking about all of us in this category here talking about

this are not thinking that God is the answer, that there's some outside deity telling

us what's right and wrong, most of us that are in science or philosophy already reject

that—going all the way back to Plato who debunked that idea in the first place—which

is to say that if murder is really wrong or the Holocaust is really wrong or slavery is

really wrong, why do we need God to tell us that?

I mean if those moral principles are out there and God is just telling us what it is, then

why do we need the middleman?

Just tell us the reasons why it's wrong and okay.

And if it's just because God said it what if he didn't say murder was wrong, would

that make it right?

No, it would still be wrong.

So either way, you don't need God, so here we are in our bubble of just us trying to

figure out what's right and wrong.

I argue in The Moral Arc that in fact we are already understanding what is right and wrong

through the study of human nature and human culture and human history by saying there

are certain things that are really better than other things, in the same way, that Kepler

discovered planetary orbits are elliptical and not circular—given that he was doing

his calculations correctly and given that planetary orbits really are elliptical and

not circular he could hardly have discovered anything else.

We would eventually discover that democracies are better than theocracies or dictatorships

just in terms of what the people want based on their survival and flourishing as sentient

beings.

And that's my moral foundation: survival and flourishing of sentient beings.

We all want to survive and flourish.

It's in our nature.

It's what evolution designed us to desire.

That is our moral foundation, our nature, that is who we are and what we want.

Okay, building from there: ok, so certain economic systems are really better toward

of that than others, you will discover that if you are a rational being trying to figure

out what's the best way to structure things.

Now it's true that we can't solve every moral issue by just running an experiment,

but if you think about it every nation with a different constitution is an experiment.

Every state in the United States, 50 different states have 50 different constitutions.

They have 50 different laws about gun control or abortion—well not quite that but they

have different variations on how it's allowed.

But just take anything.

So these are 50 different experiments.

Every Supreme Court Justice decision is an experiment.

Let's see what happens now that they've decided this let's measure the consequences

of this.

The 19th Amendment of abolishing alcohol, this was an experiment, a failed experiment.

If your goal is to reduce the amount of drinking, that didn't work, so the 21st Amendment

abolished the 19th Amendment—those are all experiments.

So this is what I'm talking about: That is this idea that David Hume put forth that

"you can't derive an ought from an is," this is a red herring.

This is a misdirection.

To that I say, Mr. Hume, tear down this wall.

Of course, we can breach that wall.

Of course, we can discover certain things about what we ought to do based on the nature

of reality.

Now here I'm not talking about "because ants have slavery or chimpanzees have war

that we should have slavery and war," no.

I mean: what is the real nature of war, and how should we reduce it?

Understanding it through the scientific study of war is a way to get to attenuating it.

That's all I mean.

And the reason we want to attenuate it is because it's bad for sentient beings, it

reduces the amount of survival and flourishing.

So that's my argument for moral realism.

't Convent - Abandoned restaurant with helipad - Duration: 15:57.

This building has been a top restaurant since 1979.

Dining for the high class with even the possibility to arrive by helicopter in the garden.

But in 2014 the business went bankrupt, the owners disappeared without a trace

and this beautiful location has been falling prey to vandals for 3 years.

Too bad, because with a little imagination you feel like you're back

in that glory time between the rich people.

We arrived here at '' t Convent '

But it is already very vandalized here!

There is the swimming pool.

So badly vandalized here.

Here is the pool.

I thought there was glass in it.

But apparently it is not necessary.

we are already directly at the pool.

Who has his swimming shorts?

because those men from 'Urbex Explore' also jumped somewhere in the water.

That is even frozen,

you can see it from the reflection.

no, not frozen!

You see that there is ice on it.

It is not frozen, but there is ice on it.

Everything broken broken!

jacuzzi!

Beautiful fireplace by the pool.

That must be nice.

Cellar

Sorry for the wind

All destroyed

Would there have been anything else?

Parking or something, or something to set up a party tent.

There is such an arch.

To turn the bath on,

But the bath is no longer connected.

Even the protective film is still there.

Everything nicely sealed with wood and then they just have everything...

... scrapped!

The sauna and the steam bath.

Walk-in shower

And that was probably a bath with ice-cold water,

to get right after the sauna...

... refreshing the body, not true sweetheart?

What is it doing there?

do a pee!

just pee!

ah, do pee.

Toilets!

Filthy toilets!

Sorry, little sick!

What is that all here?

Beware of that pit, I had not seen him.

Almost my foot broken.

These have been the rooms then?

So hard vandalized.

Mold!

Nice finishes.

so beautiful that it was here

This was a nice room.

Everywhere mirrors

Really beautiful

Completely broken and full of junk.

Why, yes?

That mirror, that's nice

This is really from someone who has a bit too much aggression.

Why are you doing all this broken?

I'm not going to talk about that again in our movie.

It is the same story at every location.

Those leaves that have been painted here.

What a beautiful staircase!

All those churches

the church of 'Lo'

'Leisele'

'Vinkem'

Westvleteren '

'Izenberge'

That will probably also be well-known people from that time.

That is beautiful here.

Even the church of 'Beveren',

but that will not be the 'Beveren' from the waasland.

Mr. the owl!

A very nice stove was found.

Also the beams of the ceiling,

everything fits perfectly in the picture.

This is really... Chic

Kitchen stove!

I do not even want to know what they have written here on the walls.

With what lies on this.

Do you hope that?

I do not think that's a poop.

It certainly looks like poop!

That's the same as this here.

It is a beautiful day in a beautiful environment.

You have to imagine that all this...

was in use.

very unfortunate that this is so much disastrous here.

Really yes!

Is Kurt there too?

The elevator!

That will only come here!

What a nice kick!

Wait!

Where are you?

Just upstairs!

Always up!

We have no light!

Is that that tower here?

Who's coming along?

I am completely going up!

If this goes wrong?

I will film you.

I will film you.

I do not know if this is really safe

No, that is not so safe!

that is all fun, but there is a lot of wind here,

and if you go wrong then you are downstairs

Then we end up somewhere.

I am also high here,

I can not just let go.

RIDICULOUS Laws YOU Broke Without Knowing! - Duration: 9:21.

From hanging up your laundry, to online crimes- these are the laws you didn't realize you

break every day….

10.

Talking in the Elevator (In New York)

It is always awkward when you're in confined spaces and some random person starts trying

to talk to you.

There are plenty of social devices to try and escape these situations, like staring

intently at your smartphone and trying to get a new high score, or pulling a face to

try and scare them away.

New Yorkers, though, have gone a step further, and introduced a law to ban conversations

being struck up in elevators.

In fact, the law states that you must "talk to no one, and fold hands while looking toward

the door".

This is a great idea, and prevents those unwanted advances when trapped in a small box.

But it also seems like a shame if you like making friendly conversation on an elevator,

or like meeting new people in your building!

It's a missed opportunity!

Most likely, though, it was introduced by lawmakers who just wanted the opportunity

to listen to the catchy muzak that you always get in a high quality elevator.

(tsk tsk- You know what I mean!)

9.

Connecting to a Public Wifi Network

So much of life these days is based around the internet.

Without it, how would you be watching my awesome videos right now?

Or check facebook?

Or google your questions?

While our smart devices usually have their own connection, who wants to use their data

limit up when there's wifi options available?

Whether you're at a coffee shop, a restaurant, or a workplace- it's perfectly fine to connect

to the provided wifi that businesses offer, but it's most definitely illegal to connect

to anyone else's network- even if they've neglected to password protect it.

It's data theft, and in some jurisdictions it could land you with up to 2 years in jail-

although, in practise, no one seems to have actually been prosecuted for this.

Despite the legal issues, you should also think twice about doing this because of security

concerns too- all confidential data that passes through the network could be accessed by unscrupulous

people.

And there have been instances where people have been caught providing open networks in

the hope that people would connect so they can steal their information.

And now for number 8 but first be sure you are subscribed before you leave!!

8.

Being Drunk in a Bar (in Alaska)

There are quite a few laws regarding alcohol that people unknowingly break on many occasions,

but one of the most ridiculous of all comes from Alaska- where it's actually illegal

to be intoxicated when you're in a bar.

And you aren't allowed to be served while being under the influence.

This seems like an overreach because, after all, isn't that the point of going to a

bar in the first place?

They're where adults go to let off some steam and enjoy themselves, and by drinking

a few drinks you're bound to feel the effects.

This isn't one of those laws that aren't enforced, either.

Alaskan police began going to bars undercover to catch lawbreakers- both patrons and proprietors,

with the intent that people would only have one or two drinks when they went out, so they

would be in full control of their senses when they made their way home.

7.

Using a VPN service

You don't need me to tell you the internet is full of information and crucial to people's

lives now.

Sometimes, though, you may not want the sites that you visit to know who, or where, you

are, and so you turn to a VPN service.

These can provide a greater sense of anonymity, and even allow you to access content that

is geo-blocked from your location.

For example poker sites or downloading pirated content.

Virtual Private Networks essentially make it look like you are somewhere else in the

world, and this can lead to you breaking the terms of service for content providers.

If, for example, you live in Europe and want to watch the latest tv shows in America, then

this is the way to do it- but because those providers only have a license to broadcast

to the US, it's treated by the law as no different to piracy.

With the prevalence of VPN services, this is another law that's tough to enforce,

but if you do get caught, there could be severe consequences.

6.

Owning More Than One Sex Toy (In Arizona)

As sexual attitudes develop, singles and couples are turning to other ways to spice up their

bedroom activities.

In Arizona, though, lawmakers have taken steps to ensure things don't get out of hand.

Even in your bedroom.

Yes, they've actually made it illegal to own more than one sex toy at a time.

It's surprising, because the adult toy and product industry is one of the fastest expanding

markets.

A report from 2012 found that Americans spent 15 billion dollars that year on toys- a number

that is much higher now.

The survey also found that 44 per cent of women between 18 and 60 had used one, and

of those- 78 per cent were in a relationship when they had done.

Again, it's a law that's not thought to have been used to prosecute anyone, but if

you live in Arizona you might need to think about just how many toys you want to have

in your nightstand.

5.

Using a Fake Name Online

The web is full of illegal activity- whether it be drug sales, abuse, bullying, financial

scams, and many, many, more- just use your imagination.

Nigerian Prince anyone??

Any experience with trolls??

Authorities have struggled to keep up with it.

One of the reasons why it works so well for criminals is that it's so easy to keep your

identity hidden when signing up with sites, so laws have been passed that makes it illegal

to use a fake name.

People often do this when registering with message boards and social media sites, and

it's part of what makes people feel confident about writing horrific things to each other.

Most people, of course, do this for a sense of privacy- concerned about the personal details

that could become public, but this isn't a valid reason.

According to US law that relates to fraud and the use of computers, creating an alias

or using a fake name for anything constitutes as fraud, and could land you in trouble.

This is the same whether you are using twitter, youtube, a shopping website, or even your

own personal website.

4.

Hanging your Underwear up to Dry (In California)

Public decency laws are important to ensure minors aren't exposed to anything untoward,

and so people can be in public places without being witness to something that might offend

their beliefs.

Some laws may have taken this idea way too far though, such is the case in California.

In Los Angeles, it's actually illegal for a woman to hang her underwear up on a clothesline

to dry if they are in public view.

This isn't just in view of a public road, either.

The law classifies your neighbours property as public in this regard, so unless you own

a large piece of land, you're likely unintentionally breaking the law.

It seems, instead, the lawmakers expect women to be using driers for their unmentionables.

What if you don't have one?

Or don't want to waste energy?

Possibly the worst thing about this law is that it only applies to women's clothes.

Men can hang up their underwear without fear of trouble, which just seems ridiculous.

3.

Sharing Passwords for Streaming Services

Our habit for consuming content are rapidly changing, and no longer do people rely on

broadcast tv to get their fix of the latest shows and movies.

Online streaming services like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon have exploded in popularity in

the past few years, and it seems like everyone has access to them.

This isn't because they are paying for the service, though.

There are a lot of people who have been given a password by a friend and use their access

instead.

This is an act that is most definitely illegal.

A ruling by the US ninth circuit Court of Appeals declared that sharing your Netflix,

or any other service's, password is a crime that is prosecutable under the Computer Fraud

and Abuse Act.

In the ruling, the judge warned that it could turn thousands of people into unwitting federal

criminals.

The intent of the law, of course, was to prevent other misuses of services and access to big

data, but this unintended consequence has opened all sorts of people to prosecution.

2.

Buying Drinks for more than Three People

Next time you're out for a night in Nevada, you may want to remember this law- particularly

if you're a generous person who likes to make sure your friends always have a drink

in their hand.

It's actually illegal to buy drinks for more than three people at any one time.

Of course this law only affects one town in the state, Nyala, and won't impact your

ability to buy rounds for anyone you want in Las Vegas so nobody panic!

The law in Nyala, though, is linked to a bar's responsibility for the welfare of its customers,

and the fact that if you're unable to order a drink yourself, it probably means that you've

already drunk far too much.

Still, this doesn't mean that all of the bar owners stick to the rules, and it's

unlikely you'll ever get in trouble for it.

More important, from the eye of the law, is that people aren't getting uncontrollably

intoxicated on the premises, and as long as your group is just having a fun time, you'll

be fine.

1.

Farting in Public (In Florida)

Yeah this is something that no one can really control.

Luckily it's only illegal in certain places, one of which is Florida- where it's illegal

to fart in a public place after 6pm on a Thursday.

Um ok.

Very specific!

No one is quite sure where this strange rule has come from, or how officers are supposed

to enforce it- and perhaps more worrying, it's not even the weirdest law that there

is!

It does seem that Florida has a particular issue with farts, though.

In 2009, a 12 schoolboy from Florida was arrested by police for farting in the classroom.

He apparently shut off the class computers and purposefully farted in front of everyone,

which led to officers being called and he was taken away for disrupting school activities.

The boy holds the honour as being the only person in recent times to have been arrested

for releasing gas in public but, just to be safe, if you're watching this in Florida

and it's a Thursday evening- you'd probably be best holding it in until tomorrow.

Sorry I ran out of time to talk about illegal sex positions but I don't think youtube

would appreciate it anyway!

Be sure to subscribe and see you next time!

TOP 15 WORST CELEBRITY CHEF RESTAURANTS! - Duration: 13:32.

Going to restaurants and deciding what to order can be an overwhelming task on its own.

Deciding which restaurant has the tastier dishes, the more sophisticated ambiance, and

how to rate the restaurant is a more tedious but rewarding task. Fancy places are often

synonymous with celebrity chef-ownership. And while we've come to expect a degree

of quality and accountability from the chefs we watch on television, sometimes the reality

just doesn't measure up. So with that in mind, let us look at some of the worst celebrity

chef-owned restaurants.

Fat Cow by Gordon Ramsay

We all know it's true that Gordon Ramsay may just be the most popular celebrity chef

out there, with the most popular food and cooking videos. Remember his awe-inducing

lobster shelling trick? Or his life-changing scrambled eggs? Well, apparently there are

some things you just can't teach with consistency. The food at this particular restaurant is

described as "disappointing" as well as overpriced. LA Weekly reviewer Besha Rodell claimed the

food didn't exude the skill Ramsay has. An article in The Telegraph by Keith Perry and

Dan Hyde claim Ramsay's restaurant has overpriced food. Meanwhile, an article in The Guardian

shared the same sentiments, though this time for his other restaurants like Maze in Mayfair

and Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's.

Guy's American Kitchen and Bar by Guy Fieri

It seems that a lot of people - critics, reviewers, and regular customers alike - are up in arms

about Guy Fieri all the time. Most of them have very not nice things to say about both

the man and his cooking. First, a very scathing review by Pete Wells for The New York Times

of Guy's Times Square restaurant "pulled no punches" and asked a lot of rhetorical and

biting questions. Let us just say that the critic's experience was the worst. He explained

that the food has no identity and even less quality. But it's not just the hoi poloi

that thinks this. Customers in online forums also described this restaurant as horrible.

"Guy Fieri's restaurant needs to burn to the ground," a Sacramento customer by the name

of Melanie wrote. While users Ruthie and Michelle agree, writing "Yuck" and "annoying," One

thing's for sure: as diners, we're being driven right out by this dive.

Dinner by Heston Blumenthal

Heston Blumenthal is a celebrated British celebrity chef, known for owning the restaurant

The Fat Duck. The Fat Duck is incredibly prestigious, with three Michelin stars and a reputation

as number one on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list in 2005. But time makes fools of us all,

because apparently, his 2-Michelin starred restaurant Dinner has a reputation as second

worst. Which kinda makes us wonder how exactly these stars are distributed? The hotel dining

room was ranked second worst restaurant in a 2014 Telegraph article sourced from Harden's

2015 London Restaurants list. The article highlights how the Hardens list claims that

Blumenthal's Dinner restaurant, is second on a list of "Most Disappointing Cooking."

The list is echoed by an ITV article as well. How disappointing!

Gato by Bobby Flay

Bobby Flay may be one of the most popular celebrity chefs out there. He has been on

numerous television shows including Iron Chef America, Beat Bobby Flay, Throwdown! With

Bobby Flay, and many many more. And only very recently, he has been seen in the company

of celebrities, such as Scarlett Johansson. A chef like Flay, who has such a huge following,

is sure to garner a lot of attention to any restaurants he is associated with. Except,

his restaurant Gato has been panned by food critics, a fact that slightly contradicts

how amazing he seems to be on his food shows. According to Ryan Sutton, it's not that it's

so much terrible as it is boring. He uses words like "ho-hum" and "ghastly" to really

illustrate his disdain for the Mediterranean restaurant. So remember: while Bobby might

win during a lot of Throwdown! With Bobby Flay episodes, he loses some as well in the

real world.

Del Posto by Mario Batali

Mario Batali may have been born in Seattle, but Italy runs through his blood. He is a

very established chef, restaurateur, writer, and television personality. His achievements

and the number of restaurants he's handling seem to speak to his talent and culinary prowess.

He co-owns restaurants in New York, Las Vegas, and Boston, just to mention a few.

But it seems like Batali has met his match with critics like Ryan Sutton, Robin Raisfeld,

and Rob Patronite. In a Cheat Sheet article, it's revealed that the Del Posto restaurant

is "overpriced and underwhelming." The two Rob's are mightily confused about the restaurant's

"hundred layer lasagna" which is cut tableside. Besides the apparently strange cutting ritual,

they also failed to discern any kind of real identity for the restaurant.

Imperial No. Nine by Sam Talbot

Sam Talbot is not only known as the sizzling Sicilian American Chef who made it to the

semifinals of Top Chef. He also appeared on the show three times over the next few seasons,

including during an all-star season. He's also known to have worked at restaurants like

Dean and Deluca, as well as appearing on reality television show - The Real Housewives of New

York City. But not unlike his run on the Top Chef show, Sam just couldn't quite make it

to the very top. His restaurant, Imperial No. Nine made headlines for entirely the wrong

reason - a scathing review. Food critic Sam Sifton described the tuna as "inedible" and

having a "spongy funk." The atmosphere of the place was also slammed. Perhaps the criticism

does have a solid basis, as the restaurant has since closed its doors.

Cut by Wolfgang Puck

Anyone who has ever casually flipped passed the Food Network will have seen the face of

Wolfgang Puck, with his optimistic eyes and splendid cooking. The Austrian-born American

chef and restaurateur has a lot of credentials up his sleeve. He has been involved with numerous

cookbooks, restaurants and show appearances (he has even been on CSI!). Wolfgang Puck

has also received several accolades, like a Daytime Emmy Award and a star on the Hollywood

Walk of Fame. He is definitely one of the biggest TV chefs ever. But according to one

critic, Wolfgang's restaurant Cut doesn't quite make the cut. Ryan Sutton (who actually

seems to be slaying a lot of celebrity chefs this video) describes the steaks at the restaurant

as quite bland and lacking in flavor. The drinks are described as either "saccharine"

or "forgettable." All in all, his restaurant experience at Cut left him feeling that it

is "not a good restaurant."

Aqimero by Richard Sandoval

Just like Sam Talbot, Richard Sandoval is a Top Chef star. And just like Mario Batali,

this celebrity chef owns a lot of restaurants - in fact, he owns more than thirty at our

count! This shows that he really is passionate about food. He's more popular than your average

chef but, perhaps not so surprisingly, one of those restaurants does not quite live up

to the others. And according to food critic Craig LaBan, this is exactly the sort of situation

that Aqimero found itself in. The critic from the Philadelphia Inquirer

described how Aqimero is an "out-of-touch and bungled attempt to create a destination

restaurant that matters to anyone." Harsh words that suggest that this restaurant struggles

to connect with its customers. While not too expensive, the food was apparently not very

flavorful either. It's no wonder that it lacked any sort of identity.

Grahamwich by Graham Elliot

We probably know Graham Elliot best from the MasterChef series, as one of the show's

formidable judges and hosts. But before he went on to be on MasterChef, he also competed

on other television cooking shows himself, including Iron Chef and Top Chef Masters.

So it is safe to say, he really made a big time, moving on from contestant to judge in

just a couple of years. He's also been named one of the Best New Chefs in Food & Wine in

2004. But can the same be said for his restaurant? Julia Kramer from Time Out Chicago doesn't

think so. She explained that Grahamwich's selection of international sandwiches suffered

from both "repeated failures of execution" and "lack of care in their conception." The

restaurant eventually closed, "unmourned by all," according to The Chicago Reader.

Per Se by Thomas Keller

Thomas Keller is a Michelin star chef. So, it should be unsurprising that he has also

won numerous other awards like the Best California Chef in 1996 and the Best Chef in America

in 1997. Impressively he has seven Michelin stars in total between his three restaurants:

The French Laundry, Bouchon, and Per Se. It seems like Thomas Keller has been blazing

a trail for the last twenty years. But is Per Se past its prime? Many critics seem to

think so. In particular, New York Times critic Pete Wells gave the restaurant two less stars

than his previous four-star review. The dishes are described as "random and purposeless,"

while the yam dumplings were described as "limp and dispiriting." In fact, it just seems

that Wells had nothing good to say about the Per Se experience.

Vandal by Chris Santos

Many food trends have come our way over the years. Some of them have been a blessing,

some frankly, have been completely annoying. There was the deconstructed food trend - from

burgers to coffee. There was the crazy milkshake trend, and the rainbow colored everything

trend too. Lately it's all avocado toast and organic drinks. It seems that Chris Santos'

restaurant Vandal isn't one to fall behind the trends, focusing primarily on mini foods.

Eater's Ryan Sutton described delicacies like mini ramen, mini burgers, and mini knishes.

Though, clearly, Sutton did not see this restaurant in a very positive light, as he follows it

with "you could fit the entirety of Semilla into the men's room at Vandal and still have

space left over." In conclusion, the restaurant was described to be just "a machine to make

money." It seems Vandal was nothing but a gimmick.

Jamie's Italian by Jamie Oliver

Another one of the more popular chefs to have graced our TV screens, joining the ranks of

Ina Garten, Mario Batali, or Bobby Flay, is Jamie Oliver. The celebrity chef has continuously

advocated for delicious but definitely nutritious food. Besides his cookbooks and television

shows, he is notable for his advocacy of fresh and organic food. Remember that campaign that

he launched against chicken nuggets? Does the food at his restaurant live up to expectations?

It seem not. The restaurant has been getting mixed reviews for a long time. It has been

famous more for its blunders than its successes, including the time they served a customer

with celiac disease some wheat pasta. Reportedly, Oliver himself doesn't even run this restaurant

and the food has the unfortunate combination of being both overpriced as well as underwhelming!

Joanne by Art Smith

Celebrity chef Art Smith has really lived up to his name. His talents have been highlighted

on shows like Top Chef Duels and Iron Chef America. And he has been described as "a genuinely

major talent" by Steve Cuozzo of the New York Post. But Cuozzo, while praising the chef,

has also said quite the opposite about his restaurant Joanne. And unlike the Lady Gaga

album of the same name, which has only received praise, this restaurant didn't quite garner

a similar response. And yes, Art did collaborate with Gaga's parents for the restaurant. Yet,

Cuozzo described the calamari as being like leather and the veal as "unspeakably fatty."

All in all, the restaurant is not a place that food critic Cuozzo would recommend. Maybe

fans of the singer should stick to listening to the album instead.

Firenze Osteria by Fabio Viviani

We know that many Italians really have a passion for their food. The same can definitely be

said for Fabio Viviani, whose passion for food stems from his childhood. From growing

up as a baker boy to becoming a sous chef during his teenage years, Viviani is now a

popular celebrity chef, restaurateur, and wine seller. You could say, he's been cooking

his whole life! But while his appearances on Top Chef may only elicit positive reactions,

the same can't quite be said for his restaurant Firenze Osteria. It came under heavy fire

from critic S. Irene Virbila, who described the restaurant as a tourist trap, the menu

as having no identity and being essentially "Italian food for dummies." The food was described

as "greasy" and "unattractive," while the wine was called "banal and lazy." Firenze

Osteria definitely sounds like a place to skip.

Otium by Timothy Hollingsworth

A lot of Top Chef contestants and favorites have

really blazed a trail on television. By showing their fearless skills and their passion for

food in the heated and pressure-filled kitchens. One of these is Timothy Hollingsworth, a Top

Chef alum who also appeared on the Food Network show Guilty Pleasures. But does his restaurant

Otium live up to his reputation? Critic Rodell from LA Weekly seems to think not, saying

the restaurant seems like a "souped-up version of every trendy restaurant in town." But while

the food isn't entirely disastrous, the service is described as "uncaring." Rodell goes even

further suggesting that the restaurant employs a sort of "caste system" in which one's social

status or looks can garner them more dutiful attention from the staff. Unbelievable!

Things That Happen To You When You Go Vegan For A Month - Duration: 3:24.

Things That Happen To You When You Go Vegan For A Month

Getting up to cheese in the breakfast to dining with beef steaks might cause you a problem

with "go vegan for a month".

You'll pass by a stall, a table in the restaurant or a co-worker having the cheeseburger in

lunch and you'll crave it like hell.

You don't have any guarantee that you'll stay put to your vegan diet for as long as

a hell MONTH.

But with that struggle, trust me you're not alone.

There are many people out there who try to stay there for 30 days that change their health

scale for rest of their lives.

But the terms must be considered properly.

No cheese, no chicks!

Fruits and veggies only that can be really difficult if you've been living on animal

stuff lately.

But here comes the question, does it worth it?

There are certain reasons that might back up the idea of "go vegan for a month".

Let's have a look.

Changes in Weight Weight loss isn't always the case when you've

been living on heavy vegetable burgers and stuff.

But it can be otherwise.

A couple of people who tried the vegan diet for a month report that it was so efficient

and easy to lose weight once they completely transferred to veggies.

Researchers report the proteins in the vegetable carry fewer calories than meat and that might

cause significant weight loss if the vegan diet is dealt fairly.

But if you overeat and overdone your vegan diet, you might end up going high on carbs

and body weight too.

It's evident that you'll find it rough and tough to avoid your special junk food.

As Virginia Messina MPH, RD, says she always feels jealous when watching people eating

cheese, steaks and stuff even after she's been on the vegan diet for more than 25 years.

(Notes apart, I salute her dedication to her health).

Vegan Diet Plays with Taste Buds

Research evidence that if you go even a week without animal products in oil, salt, sugar

or fat and without junk food, your taste starts to change.

As vegan reports that his whole sense of taste has been changed even heightened and he is

seeking so much pleasure out of his routine diet.

He always found it hard to suppress his desire for sweet but with veggies in his diet, he

hardly notices the desires of his sweet tooth.

The sensitivity of taste buds changes and you really start getting more pleasure out

of your food.

High dopamine with just eating food?

WOAH!

You Become a Great Cook With vegetables on the counter, you have plenty

of options for your dinner.

You might stress out for few days as a beginner, but as you'll start finding new ingredients

and new power-matches, it would be so fun.

For beginners, it might go like "what the hell I'm going to eat today" but when

you'll look for some favourite vegetables, search for some recipes and will try to do

it in your own way, you'll love it.

Trust me.

You might find some 5-6 options for your dinner that you actually love.

And here you become really a revolutionized cook.

So if you do vegan for a month, it doesn't only change your taste, help you lose weight,

bring a good cook out of you but also helps you change with your family in a completely

different perspective while cooking your meals for them.

Try it and I hope they like it!

Game Story Time #04 – Sound Effects Nerd - Duration: 5:10.

Hello there guys and girls,

welcome to another episode of "Game Story Time".

Thanks to everyone who commented on the last video for your lovely feedback.

For those who don't know: In this series we will talk about our greatest memories connected

to video games and anything gaming related.

I would like to remind you to share your stories in the comment section and maybe I will comment

on your story in the following episode.

It doesn't need to be retro at all.

Just tell me what gaming related moment touched you or you remember very vividly.

That's one way I want you to get to know me a little better.

And of course I wanna get to know you!

This time The Nerfed Gamer sent in a short story which I'm gonna read out:

This was all around 1995.

I bought Transport Tycoon Deluxe, installed and played it.

My first PC had an Intel 486 SX 25 (25 Mhz) processor and 4Mb ram with DOS 6.22 and Windows

3.1.

No internet access.

Things got so heavy, the game was actually slowing down the more I threw into it.

Minimum recommended processor speed was 33Mhz.

When I looked up at the clock, I had played the game for 12 hours straight.

No breaks of any kind.

Talk about addictive.

Love that game style even today.

Especially the part where you described how the game would slow down the more objects

you put into your map clicked with me.

While I didn't have my own PC as a kid I had friends who did and we played similar

games, especially Sim City.

We had the same effect and at some point just had to start building a new city because the

frames would drop lower than your twerking mom.

However I don't really play these types of games nowadays.

Also, I gotta admit that I've never managed to find enough time to do a 12 hour gaming

session ever in my life.

But during my BF4 times 6 to 8 hours a night were pretty common for me.

Let's move on.

My fourth story is about how much of a sound effects nerd I am.

Now you might ask yourself how that relates to video games.

Well, for one I like to produce machinima from GTA V in which I oftentimes use hundreds

of different sound effects each.

Some of them I even record myself to make them suit the scene perfectly.

Over time I developed a real affinity for sound design and sound effects.

And here's the deal: There are some sound effects floating around that I've known

since the 90s from different video games and to this day I hear them in contemporary movies

or series.

Here are a few examples.

The first couple of samples are from Turok 2 which I played on my Nintendo 64.

Yeah, I grew up with this console and if you've watched this series from the start you know

I love my N64.

In Turok 2 there were these tiny pesky dinosaurs that kinda resemble the ones from Jurassic

Park 2.

Let's have a listen to the sounds they make...some

of these samples show up typically in science fiction productions from time to time.

Maybe you have noticed these samples as well.

Another game on Nintendo 64 which in my opinion is totally underrated is called Jet Force

Gemini.

This was another sci-fi kind of game which I loved to play, and maybe even back then

my fetish for sound effects started.

Let me show you a few samples from the game that you might have heard elsewhere, too...aaah,

great.

Now what's the point of this nerdy crap, you might as yourselves.

Well, anytime I hear one of those samples in a movie I just get the nostalgic urge to

play the game it is from again.

Also, most of the time I'm just bursting out telling everyone in the room where this

sample is from and people look at me like "WTF dude who cares" or something.

But if you think about it, the mainstream version of the sound effect easter egg hunt

is the Wilhelm scream.

Nowadays this sample is used in almost every movie because it's become some sort of a

tradition.

That very scream was part of a commercial sound library.

The first time I had the realization that certain samples are used on multiple media

like music, movies and games was when I listened to Slayer's song "Deviance" from the

record "God Hates Us All".

I must have been around 13 at the time.

And there is this sample of a screaming woman right at the start.

This one gave me absolute nightmares, because that song is just so heavy.

Years later I started hearing the same sample in some series and films and had this instant

shiver running down my back again.

And that's exactly why I love sound design: It's a hugely important part of any good

game, movie or series.

So yeah, that was another Game Story.

Let me know what you think of this series and don't forget to share your own priceless

experiences with gaming.

Thank you for watching, whanowa over!

GRWM | Natural Glow Skin Makeup - Duration: 7:14.

Hey guys! It's me.

I'm going to do a natural glowing look today

because I just got these bad boys in the mail.

Uh, this is Beauteque's mask subscription and a K-beauty subscription.

So... this especially is going to be useful for today

because the first step to any glowing look is hydrated skin.

So... I'll be using one of these.

Oh! And this is my not so new plant.

Uh... it looks like it's about to die but it still wants to live.

Me. (laughs)

Okay, so I've washed my face

and I'm going with the Frienvita Gold Glow Mask

because this one has 24 carat gold for glossy, glowing skin.

Which is what we want today.

Oh?

It's black.

So I'm just going to leave this on for ten minutes

and we will explore the other box.

This is an octopus cleansing brush.

So cute.

(To plant) You have a friend now.

There's also a nose peel off pack.

A hand mask.

Powder cleanser.

A hair glaze. I think it's a hair treatment thing.

And a gel eyeliner.

I'm going to use this later.

Okay, now that everything is soaked in

I'm going to start by using the Becca Backlight Priming Filter.

Uh, I dropped this so it broke at the neck. (laughs) Please ignore that.

And I'm only going to apply this on key areas of my face.

The cheekbones...

Nose of the bridge???

Temples...

Chin...

Cupid's bow...

Where the light hits.

The reason why I'm not putting this all over my face

is because I don't want it to look too oily.

Since my foundation is already going to be dewy.

And you can see how that already has a glow.

For the foundation I'm mixing a face oil from Fresh

and Giorgio Armani's Lasting Silk UV Foundation.

Two drops of the oil

together with one pump of the foundation.

And I just mix it by hand.

Then using Zoeva's 102 brush, I'm going to blend everything out.

I'm using Becca's Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer.

Just going to put it under my eyes...

Bridge of my nose...

Around my nose because there's a lot of redness here.

Then I'm just going to use my finger to blend everything out.

Then taking a fluffy brush.

This is the Zoeva's 228.

I'm going to use the Meteorites powder to set the concealer.

I'm doing this so that the concealer won't crease.

I'm not touching the other areas because I still want the shine there.

I'm going to quickly do my brows now with the Shu Uemura Brow Palette.

Uh... and an angled brush.

And I'm just drawing a natural arch.

Are they even?

Now I'm going to contour the sides of my nose

with the brow powder.

And i like to bring it up to my brow bone.

For the eyes, I'm going to use 3CE's triple shadow in Dainty Tasty.

And with a crease brush... this is the Zoeva 224.

I'm going to take the netural brown shade

and contour my eyes.

So just where the eye socket is.

And just by pinching the same brush, I'm going to put some under my eyelid as well.

I like to put it kinda... under my eyebag.

Now I'm going to bring some light into my eyes with the Laura Mercier's baked highlighter.

And with a finger,

just going to dab it onto my eyelid.

Just at the center here.

And this was from the box. This is Yadah's gel liner in romantic brown.

And I'm going to extend my line out.

I'm going to draw on my waterline as well.

Then I'm going to curl my lashes and apply mascara.

This is the Heroine Make Volume and Curl Mascara.

I'm going to use a liquid blush because I don't want to mattify the area with a powdered one.

This is Skinfood's Fresh Fruit Juice Extraction in number three.

And I'm going to put it on the apples of my cheeks.

This is one of the best liquid blushes I've ever used.

And the color is so beautiful.

For the lips, I'm using Aprilskin's water tint in Papaya Rose.

I highly recommend this because it's so hydrating. It's very comfortable to wear.

And it's a pretty color as well.

And this is the completed look.

Can you guys see the glow?

Hmm?

So thanks for watching! Skincare routine is coming up next so keep a lookout for that.

And uh yeah! I will see you next time.

Bye!
