Hi I'm Mike and today on the project list, calving has started on the ranch, and we need

to make sure that cows can get to the barn when we need to help, also we will be building

a brand-new tool Erin will be using in the garden and we will check on our brand-new

baby calf.

It's all coming up today on the project list on our Wyoming life.

This week, we started calving around here and as all big projects start, with one little

step.

We now have one very cute little calf out with the heifers.

We've been keeping a close eye on her as well as the other cows that are getting close

and we will be going out to check on them in just a bit.

Every Tuesday we get a chance to tackle this list behind me.

We call it the project list, on it are all the little and big things that need done around

here.

Weather is a factor on what and how we do things and we are looking at a bit of a warming

trend coming.

Temps up into the 50 for the next 10 days, that means a bunch of snow is going to melt

and hopefully some ice as well and give us a chance to really get into the list.

As the weather picks up, so does Erin's eagerness to get into the gardens and get

going on her next winter planting project.

In the basement of our house are hundreds of plants that are ready to get into the ground

and do their thing.

Before we can get them there though, we need to do some work in the high tunnel, which

Erin will be getting to this week.

One project she's going to need to do is turning over the soil.

Now she doesn't want to till it quite yet but she needs to just loosen the soil to facilitate

new planting.

We've got a bit of a surprise for here for her today, it's a new Hoss wheel hoe.

She's never used one before, but I have caught her drooling over them in the catalog

and online.

So, we got one it to give to her and hopefully make her life a bit easier when it comes to

hoeing and getting rid of those pesky weeds.

This hoe is manufactured by Hoss tools, it will run about 180$, but if you have ever

had to hoe almost a quarter of an acre by hand, you know that a standard hoe will wear

you out pretty quick and hopefully, having the wheel on here will make it a lot easier

for her.

The reviews for it are really good as well and as we get to taking it out of its box

it looks pretty simple to assemble.

Included with our kit are 3 attachments for the tool.

A plow attachment for making hills and raised beds, 3 cultivator teeth for tilling up the

ground and an oscillating hoe for weeding.

Today we are going to put on the oscillating hoe to start, although I'm sure Erin will

want to try out all the attachments eventually.

The instructions that come with this thing are amazing, it really impresses me when companies

take the time to make good instructions.

With pictures as well as instructions on how to use the thing.

After gathering our tools we are going to need it's a matter of attaching the wheel,

with a single bolt and nylon nut.

Putting on the oscillating hoe and attaching that.

Quick side note, I like how the attachments all have the nuts on the top side, it will

make it a lot easier to switch them out when we have to.

Then it's just a matter of attaching the handles and the cross-support bar.

Once its off the table, you can see how it works.

But pushing it through the soil, the blade of the stirrup how will slice through the

top inch or so of the soil, cutting the roots and pulling the plants out of the ground,

as well as loosening a bit of the soil.

As with most things around here, you can't get away without making a quick modification

of your own and I can't say I'm a huge fan of how the hoe doesn't stay up on its

own.

But I think by adding a kickstand of sorts we can keep the handles out of the dirt and

keep Erin from having to bend over every time she has to pick it up.

After a quick measurement, we can cut a piece of wood to fit and see how it would work.

Then after a couple of quick holes with the drill, a quarter inch bolt, a couple of washers

and a nut.

We now have a kickstand.

And Erin has a wheel hoe.

Our next project for the day involves the cows, specifically the heifers in the corrals.

They have now begun calving and soon we will have quite a few calves out here with them.

Heifers are all first-time moms and they are notorious for needing help in the calving

process.

Because they are smaller framed, calves can get stuck in the birthing canal, they can

start labor then stall out, or they can even have their calves with no problem but then

not know what to do with them afterwards.

In order to help them sometimes we have to be able to take them into the barn, and right

now that task would be a little difficult.

Thanks to 60 mile an hour winds along with some thawing and freezing, the path we would

take the heifers on into the barn is blocked by a 4-foot snow drift which we need to get

rid of.

For this job we are going to use our skid steer, a bobcat S630.

We have had it for a number of years and its pretty handy for moving snow, cleaning corrals

and other jobs that require a smaller tractor go get into tight spaces.

Right now, it has the forks on it, but a one trick pony is no good and only for fun for

a while.

Luckily, we have a number of attachments we can use on the bobcat and today we are going

to drop off the forks and hook up to the bucket to move this snow.

After opening gates and letting ourselves into the alley system of the corrals, we can

start shoveling it out.

These are pretty tight quarters even for this machine and one wrong move and we would go

right through these fences, snapping them like toothpicks.

Underneath all this snow is a thick layer of ice, which makes things rather interesting

as the tires don't really have much to grip onto, sliding into the fence is a real possibility

so we are going to just work up the middle of the alley.

Moving snow up and out of the way, until we can take the corner into the corrals.

Once there then we can clean out a bunch more snow, leaving the ice which is now now under

the warm sun where hopefully it will melt over the next couple of days.

It's not pretty, but it's a lot better than it was and soon we have a direct path

from the corrals, down and around, and through the alley, into the barn where we are ready

to assist any cow with any problem they may have.

Getting a little job like this done and out of the way now, will make life so much easier

in the future.

Even when we get more snow, it won't be building on top of the old stuff and when

it comes to getting a cow in labor into the barn, minutes can mean the difference between

life and death for that little calf, whose only goal is to be born healthy and happy.

Speaking of, let's go take a look at our newest little girl.

She was born Sunday morning and so far, seems to be enjoying life, aside from the fact that

she doesn't have anyone to play with, yet.

Soon enough though she will, but for now she gets to hang out in the heifer corral with

her mom, who loves to keep an eye on everything we do with her calf.

Heifers tend to either be intensely protective of their calves, or extremely lackadaisical.

She is somewhere in between, always watching but still not sure what that thing is that

came out of her.

Grace has already named her Cookie Milk and if you follow us on Facebook you already had

a chance to meet here within hours of her birth.

Soon she was christened with ear tag number 1.

Making her the first half of 2018.

Now starts the real fun, about 160 some odd calves left to show their faces around here,

that will keep us really busy over the next few months.

But it doesn't stop all the other stuff that needs done and now is when our juggling

skills really come into play.

Managing the ranch, family and everyday life, all at the same time, oh yea and cut out a

bunch of sleep.

Because starting now we get to checking the cows not only first thing the morning and

last thing at night, but soon and especially if the weather gets bad again, which I'm

sure it will, we will begin night checks.

Heading out every 4 hours or so and making sure that each and every cow is ok.

Checking the calves that are already on the ground and the moms that have yet to have

theirs.

It's an exciting time around here but also one of the most stressful times and every

year is different.

Berry Cereal TFA / TPA – Review & Recipe [Crunchy Berry Cereal Review for Diy Eliquids] - Duration: 5:31.

Hello and welcome, I'm john from diy eliquid recipes and for today's video we are back

with another cereal flavor review.

So this is berry cereal from the flavor apprentice.

I have still a few cereal concentrates to go through and review for you, but more I

use them the closer I come to the same conclusion.

Cereal flavors are weird!

Other than a couple good and clean tasting flavors, most of them will either have too

much of acetyl Pyrazine, or include a too strong of a side accent.

Especially lemon seems to be very popular with cereals to be used on the side.

So this common problem, leaves us with only a few clean tasting flavors to use.

For today's review I picked berry cereal because is one of the better TFA cereals available.

Surprisingly tfa has a lot of cereal flavors and even a category just for them.

So from all their cereal related flavors I picked 3 that I will review for this series.

2 of the reviews will be the best 2 tfa cereals and the last one will be a least favorite

one.

And starting today with berry cereal.

This flavor tastes a lot like captain crunch.

It has a good amount of grain without overdoing it and it will work as a bakery base or as

a crunchy accent very well.

The berry part comes out very weak in flavor but you can still taste it.

There is a slight citrus or lemon taste too but since this is a berry flavor it is excused

and expected.

All together it's a good slightly fruity cereal vape.

If you are looking for something that will have more crunch than a flake type of cereal

then the berry cereal would be the one to recommend.

If you would like to have none of the berry flavor included here then, you could try the

crunchy cereal flavor from tfa again but it's not exactly just the berry cereal without

the berry, it feels like its missing something but still a nice flavor.

So as it comes about regular cereals I believe berry cereal is one of the best flavors tfa

has to offer.

Now I will quickly show you the recommended ratios to use this concentrate and move on

to a recipe that I prepared for you with this flavor.

This is a nice concentrate to vape solo, it won't be the best one ever but you could

still mix up something decent just with this flavor alone.

For a mild cereal vape or with something with medium flavor use it from 6 up to 9%.

If you would like an extra bold and crunchy vape you could try it at 12 % and I wouldn't

recommend going higher than 15%.

Usually you should only use it in ratios this high if you are using a mouth to lung device

only.

As a base for other bakery and cereal eliquids it works very well from around 5 to 10% with

5 % being a good starting ratio for new recipes.

And last you can add it for some extra crunch or side booster very low at 1% and going up

to 3%.

Even though at 3%, it is a little high and it should be consider a side flavor.

In any case as you can see this flavor has a wide usage and it could be very useful when

creating new recipes.

Now last, I have prepared a quick recipe to show with this flavor so you can have something

to start with if you just bought berry cereal for the first time.

This is a creamy and crunchy eliquid called light berry cream.

As you can see it has the berry cereal and Bavarian cream as a base, these are 2 very

nice TFA flavors that work excellent with each other.

And finishing with a little bit of flavourarts marshmallow to add some extra body and mouthfeel

to the mix.

The marshmallow is sweet enough but I find that half a percent of sweetener will bring

the flavor a lot more forward.

It's a nice and simple recipe, and at this point it has become my main cereal recipe

to go to if I'm feeling like vaping something crunchy.

Of course you could add on top of it more creams or fruits and get a whole new eliquid.

Ok so as summary, you can see berry cereal is a very useful and flavorful concentrate.

It has a good realistic flavor and it will add a nice crunch to other mild flavors.

You can vape it solo or in a recipe and it still will bring something good to the table.

It's a nice all around cereal flavor.

This video came out a little longer than the usual flavor reviews but hopefully it was

helpful and with some new insight.

Because starting now we get to checking the cows not only first thing the morning and

last thing at night, but soon and especially if the weather gets bad again, which I'm

sure it will, we will begin night checks.

Heading out every 4 hours or so and making sure that each and every cow is ok.

Checking the calves that are already on the ground and the moms that have yet to have

theirs.

It's an exciting time around here but also one of the most stressful times and every

year is different.

Berry Cereal TFA / TPA – Review & Recipe [Crunchy Berry Cereal Review for Diy Eliquids] - Duration: 5:31.

Hello and welcome, I'm john from diy eliquid recipes and for today's video we are back

with another cereal flavor review.

So this is berry cereal from the flavor apprentice.

I have still a few cereal concentrates to go through and review for you, but more I

use them the closer I come to the same conclusion.

Cereal flavors are weird!

Other than a couple good and clean tasting flavors, most of them will either have too

much of acetyl Pyrazine, or include a too strong of a side accent.

Especially lemon seems to be very popular with cereals to be used on the side.

So this common problem, leaves us with only a few clean tasting flavors to use.

For today's review I picked berry cereal because is one of the better TFA cereals available.

Surprisingly tfa has a lot of cereal flavors and even a category just for them.

So from all their cereal related flavors I picked 3 that I will review for this series.

2 of the reviews will be the best 2 tfa cereals and the last one will be a least favorite

one.

And starting today with berry cereal.

This flavor tastes a lot like captain crunch.

It has a good amount of grain without overdoing it and it will work as a bakery base or as

a crunchy accent very well.

The berry part comes out very weak in flavor but you can still taste it.

There is a slight citrus or lemon taste too but since this is a berry flavor it is excused

and expected.

All together it's a good slightly fruity cereal vape.

If you are looking for something that will have more crunch than a flake type of cereal

then the berry cereal would be the one to recommend.

If you would like to have none of the berry flavor included here then, you could try the

crunchy cereal flavor from tfa again but it's not exactly just the berry cereal without

the berry, it feels like its missing something but still a nice flavor.

So as it comes about regular cereals I believe berry cereal is one of the best flavors tfa

has to offer.

Now I will quickly show you the recommended ratios to use this concentrate and move on

to a recipe that I prepared for you with this flavor.

This is a nice concentrate to vape solo, it won't be the best one ever but you could

still mix up something decent just with this flavor alone.

For a mild cereal vape or with something with medium flavor use it from 6 up to 9%.

If you would like an extra bold and crunchy vape you could try it at 12 % and I wouldn't

recommend going higher than 15%.

Usually you should only use it in ratios this high if you are using a mouth to lung device

only.

As a base for other bakery and cereal eliquids it works very well from around 5 to 10% with

5 % being a good starting ratio for new recipes.

And last you can add it for some extra crunch or side booster very low at 1% and going up

to 3%.

Even though at 3%, it is a little high and it should be consider a side flavor.

In any case as you can see this flavor has a wide usage and it could be very useful when

creating new recipes.

Now last, I have prepared a quick recipe to show with this flavor so you can have something

to start with if you just bought berry cereal for the first time.

This is a creamy and crunchy eliquid called light berry cream.

As you can see it has the berry cereal and Bavarian cream as a base, these are 2 very

nice TFA flavors that work excellent with each other.

And finishing with a little bit of flavourarts marshmallow to add some extra body and mouthfeel

to the mix.

The marshmallow is sweet enough but I find that half a percent of sweetener will bring

the flavor a lot more forward.

It's a nice and simple recipe, and at this point it has become my main cereal recipe

to go to if I'm feeling like vaping something crunchy.

Of course you could add on top of it more creams or fruits and get a whole new eliquid.

Ok so as summary, you can see berry cereal is a very useful and flavorful concentrate.

It has a good realistic flavor and it will add a nice crunch to other mild flavors.

You can vape it solo or in a recipe and it still will bring something good to the table.

It's a nice all around cereal flavor.

This video came out a little longer than the usual flavor reviews but hopefully it was

helpful and with some new insight.

Calving Begins, Projects Don't Stop - The Project List - Duration: 10:30.

Hi I'm Mike and today on the project list, calving has started on the ranch, and we need

to make sure that cows can get to the barn when we need to help, also we will be building

a brand-new tool Erin will be using in the garden and we will check on our brand-new

baby calf.

It's all coming up today on the project list on our Wyoming life.

This week, we started calving around here and as all big projects start, with one little

step.

We now have one very cute little calf out with the heifers.

We've been keeping a close eye on her as well as the other cows that are getting close

and we will be going out to check on them in just a bit.

If this is your first time here, thanks for joining us as we explore the ranch life and

escape the ordinary.

Every Tuesday we get a chance to tackle this list behind me.

We call it the project list, on it are all the little and big things that need done around

here.

Weather is a factor on what and how we do things and we are looking at a bit of a warming

trend coming.

Temps up into the 50 for the next 10 days, that means a bunch of snow is going to melt

and hopefully some ice as well and give us a chance to really get into the list.

As the weather picks up, so does Erin's eagerness to get into the gardens and get

going on her next winter planting project.

In the basement of our house are hundreds of plants that are ready to get into the ground

and do their thing.

Before we can get them there though, we need to do some work in the high tunnel, which

Erin will be getting to this week.

One project she's going to need to do is turning over the soil.

Now she doesn't want to till it quite yet but she needs to just loosen the soil to facilitate

new planting.

We've got a bit of a surprise for here for her today, it's a new Hoss wheel hoe.

She's never used one before, but I have caught her drooling over them in the catalog

and online.

So, we got one it to give to her and hopefully make her life a bit easier when it comes to

hoeing and getting rid of those pesky weeds.

This hoe is manufactured by Hoss tools, it will run about 180$, but if you have ever

had to hoe almost a quarter of an acre by hand, you know that a standard hoe will wear

you out pretty quick and hopefully, having the wheel on here will make it a lot easier

for her.

The reviews for it are really good as well and as we get to taking it out of its box

it looks pretty simple to assemble.

Included with our kit are 3 attachments for the tool.

A plow attachment for making hills and raised beds, 3 cultivator teeth for tilling up the

ground and an oscillating hoe for weeding.

Today we are going to put on the oscillating hoe to start, although I'm sure Erin will

want to try out all the attachments eventually.

The instructions that come with this thing are amazing, it really impresses me when companies

take the time to make good instructions.

With pictures as well as instructions on how to use the thing.

After gathering our tools we are going to need it's a matter of attaching the wheel,

with a single bolt and nylon nut.

Putting on the oscillating hoe and attaching that.

Quick side note, I like how the attachments all have the nuts on the top side, it will

make it a lot easier to switch them out when we have to.

Then it's just a matter of attaching the handles and the cross-support bar.

Once its off the table, you can see how it works.

But pushing it through the soil, the blade of the stirrup how will slice through the

top inch or so of the soil, cutting the roots and pulling the plants out of the ground,

as well as loosening a bit of the soil.

As with most things around here, you can't get away without making a quick modification

of your own and I can't say I'm a huge fan of how the hoe doesn't stay up on its

own.

But I think by adding a kickstand of sorts we can keep the handles out of the dirt and

keep Erin from having to bend over every time she has to pick it up.

After a quick measurement, we can cut a piece of wood to fit and see how it would work.

Then after a couple of quick holes with the drill, a quarter inch bolt, a couple of washers

and a nut.

We now have a kickstand.

And Erin has a wheel hoe.

Our next project for the day involves the cows, specifically the heifers in the corrals.

They have now begun calving and soon we will have quite a few calves out here with them.

Heifers are all first-time moms and they are notorious for needing help in the calving

process.

Because they are smaller framed, calves can get stuck in the birthing canal, they can

start labor then stall out, or they can even have their calves with no problem but then

not know what to do with them afterwards.

In order to help them sometimes we have to be able to take them into the barn, and right

now that task would be a little difficult.

Thanks to 60 mile an hour winds along with some thawing and freezing, the path we would

take the heifers on into the barn is blocked by a 4-foot snow drift which we need to get

rid of.

For this job we are going to use our skid steer, a bobcat S630.

We have had it for a number of years and its pretty handy for moving snow, cleaning corrals

and other jobs that require a smaller tractor go get into tight spaces.

Right now, it has the forks on it, but a one trick pony is no good and only for fun for

a while.

Luckily, we have a number of attachments we can use on the bobcat and today we are going

to drop off the forks and hook up to the bucket to move this snow.

After opening gates and letting ourselves into the alley system of the corrals, we can

start shoveling it out.

These are pretty tight quarters even for this machine and one wrong move and we would go

right through these fences, snapping them like toothpicks.

Underneath all this snow is a thick layer of ice, which makes things rather interesting

as the tires don't really have much to grip onto, sliding into the fence is a real possibility

so we are going to just work up the middle of the alley.

Moving snow up and out of the way, until we can take the corner into the corrals.

Once there then we can clean out a bunch more snow, leaving the ice which is now now under

the warm sun where hopefully it will melt over the next couple of days.

It's not pretty, but it's a lot better than it was and soon we have a direct path

from the corrals, down and around, and through the alley, into the barn where we are ready

to assist any cow with any problem they may have.

Getting a little job like this done and out of the way now, will make life so much easier

in the future.

Even when we get more snow, it won't be building on top of the old stuff and when

it comes to getting a cow in labor into the barn, minutes can mean the difference between

life and death for that little calf, whose only goal is to be born healthy and happy.

Speaking of, let's go take a look at our newest little girl.

She was born Sunday morning and so far, seems to be enjoying life, aside from the fact that

she doesn't have anyone to play with, yet.

Soon enough though she will, but for now she gets to hang out in the heifer corral with

her mom, who loves to keep an eye on everything we do with her calf.

Heifers tend to either be intensely protective of their calves, or extremely lackadaisical.

She is somewhere in between, always watching but still not sure what that thing is that

came out of her.

Grace has already named her Cookie Milk and if you follow us on Facebook you already had

a chance to meet here within hours of her birth.

Soon she was christened with ear tag number 1.

Making her the first half of 2018.

Now starts the real fun, about 160 some odd calves left to show their faces around here,

that will keep us really busy over the next few months.

But it doesn't stop all the other stuff that needs done and now is when our juggling

skills really come into play.

Managing the ranch, family and everyday life, all at the same time, oh yea and cut out a

bunch of sleep.

Cardi B Isn't Waiting on Nicki To Drop Her Album First - Duration: 2:13.

What up guys, Frazier here for Complex News.

Objectively speaking, two of the most anticipated albums of 2018 are Nicki Minaj's fourth

and Cardi B's debut.

Both are watershed moments for different reasons.

A debut album is obviously a huge deal inherently, and Cardi's rise was so meteoric that people

are curious to see what she does with the moment ahead of her musically.

It'll shape opinion on whether she's an artist who's here to stay and impact culture

for years to come, or if 2017 was a grand opening and closing.

The pressure is so high she's got upperclassmen like J. Cole giving her advice while possibly

scoring legends like Beyonce for the final tracklisting.

Meanwhile Nicki came into '17 off a bit of a hiatus and a major rap beef.

Now, everyone's eager to see how she re-asserts herself into the pop and rap landscape, and

what path she's going to take sonically.

It seems like many are expecting her fourth to also be her best album yet.

And she's feeding the frenzy too in various interviews.

She talked about wanting to evoke the feel of her early mixtapes and described it as

"channeling old Nicki with a new twist."

She even went as far as to say "This is definitely the most inspired and free and

excited I've been since I started releasing albums through a label."

Neither have dates, but regardless of your feelings towards both women, their albums

will be in heavy conversation and under heavier dissection when they drop.

It's a lot of pressure for both, so the last thing they need is unnecessary conflict

while they work to wrap their projects up.

But that's what's happening now, since people can't seem to stop themselves from

pitting the two against each other.

PopCrave's IG account posted a comment Cardi made about her album.

"I don't understand why people who don't like me keep telling me to drop my album.

You don't like me so why are you thirsty for my album?

To talk shit, to suck d*ck?"

Bardi keeping it as real as ever.

But then one person in popcrave's comments said, "She's waiting for Nicki to drop"

and others chimed in agreeing.

But of course, real ones know Cardi makes time for the fuckshit.

She saw the comment and responded.

"Waiting for what?

What is that going to do for me, and imma release my sh*t very very soon."

Personally, I don't know why Cardi always responds.

No good ever really comes from responding to trolls and haters in the comments.

But good on her for asserting herself.

Hopefully when her album does finally drop, it'll do the silencing for her.

There was a time when every game you wanted to play was held within the confines of a

cartridge or disc, and you could fight dragons without having to download additional content.

Things have changed, and the modern age of gaming has given us some games live entirely

online.

Though that's made getting games into the hands of players easier, it also means that

when those servers go offline, so does all your progress.

Such was the case for these games, which will probably never be played again.

The Matrix Online

Following the release of Matrix Revolutions, Sony and Monolith Productions teamed up for

The Matrix Online, a canonical continuation of The Matrix story set in an MMORPG.

Though it only lasted four years, from 2005 to 2009, The Matrix Online allowed subscribers

to live out their Neo fantasies as red-pillers awoken from the Matrix's control.

Once "freed," players could explore Mega City to find like-minded revolutionaries to take

on the computer system holding humanity in check.

After the servers were closed in 2009 due to drastically low subscriber numbers, Sony

crafted a memory book fans could visit to reflect on their time in the Matrix.

That, too, has since been pulled down.

That's a pretty big bummer, but: "Remember.

All I'm offering is the truth, nothing more."

Plants vs. Zombies Adventures Released exclusively on Facebook in May 2013,

Plants vs. Zombies Adventures was technically the first sequel to the classic tower-defense

game from PopCap and EA, preceding Plants vs. Zombies 2.

So, for a few months, Plants vs. Zombies Adventures was the best way to enjoy fending off zombie

hordes for franchise fans on Facebook.

Adventures followed the original game's concept, but instead of defending a single homestead,

Adventures' maps were much more elaborate, and took place all over the town where players

lived.

Plants vs. Zombies Adventures lasted a little over a year, however, with EA shuttering the

service in October 2014.

At least when the game was on its way out, PopCap gave each player 100,000 gems, the

premium currency, so they could go wild in the game's waning moments.

City of Heroes In 2004, City of Heroes gave many wannabe

superheroes a chance to don tights and capes to fend off evil in the fictional Paragon

City.

In addition to creating and customizing a hero of their own, players could join up with

other players to create the own unique supergroups.

After releasing a sequel in 2005 dubbed City of Villains, which let players live out their

supervillain fantasies, the two games were merged in 2008, allowing players to wage a

massive battle for Paragon's destiny.

Updates were added regularly, and introduced new elements like mystical characters, mission

creation tools, and time manipulation.

City of Heroes was so successful in the 2000s, it even spawned a comic series, and a collectible

card game.

Sadly, that popularity wouldn't last into the next decade.

A free-to-play model was added in the summer of 2011, but even that couldn't help City

of Heroes live for longer than one more year.

Despite an outpouring of support and protests from existing players, City of Heroes' adventure

ended in 2012.

Marvel Heroes

What if we told you one of the creators of

Diablo was tapped to develop an online action role-playing game set in the Marvel Universe?

Welcome to 2013's Marvel Heroes, an isometric action RPG in the vein of Blizzard's iconic

fantasy game Diablo, which allowed players to go on adventures as more than 60 different

legendary Marvel characters.

Despite finally getting a console port in the summer of 2017, Marvel Heroes' time on

the virtual plane was short.

Not long after launching on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Disney and Marvel announced

Marvel Heroes would be closing forever, giving players only a brief glimpse into saving the

world as their favorite super-people.

"Nothing lasts forever."

Infinite Crisis In 2014, Warner Bros. tried to get in on the

multiplayer online battle arena craze with Infinite Crisis.

Rather than having players create super-characters of their own like in DC Comics' DCU Online,

Infinite Crisis cobbled its roster together from the infinite Earths of the DC Multiverse.

That meant you could play as, say, Pirate Batman, or Mecha Wonder Woman, with each version

serving a different role within the game.

Free-to-play, Infinite Crisis launched in early 2015, but wasn't able to keep players

interested.

It was forced to shut down just a few months after exiting beta.

Star Wars Galaxies Perhaps no game has more of a controversial

relationship with its fanbase than Star Wars Galaxies, which included the awesome ability

to play as nearly a dozen different species across a dozen different planets.

Launched in 2003 to fairly positive reviews, it only took two years for Sony Online and

Lucasfilm to completely revamp the way Galaxies worked, spurning most of the remaining devoted

fans in the process.

a home to numerous hopeful Jedi until it closed in 2011.

The closing of Star Wars Galaxies was well-covered in the gaming press, with Giant Bomb hosting

a lengthy livestream of the game's closing hours.

Players gathered around for celebration, goodbyes, and one final battle between the Rebellion

and the Empire as the lights went out.

Firefall Red5's Firefall was inescapable at gaming

conventions in the years leading up to its beta in 2012.

The MMO-shooter hybrid was big on promotion, but when it launched in full in 2014, it didn't

quite meet the player demand the development team anticipated.

The years following Firefall's beta and retail release were rife with trouble for the developer,

with its CEO being ousted, and payroll not being distributed to employees.

In 2016, Red5 let go of all remaining employees, though Firefall's servers stayed online for

another year.

Firefall may not have had a great run as a game, but it did deliver some of the best

cosplay as part of the promotion for the MMO.

At least we'll always have that.

It looks like the Arizona Senator has gotten used to the attention he has been getting

lately, both from the mainstream media, and from his precious liberals.

As it appears he is quite content with giving interviews, and discussing the "happy place"

he's in, right now.

Recently, he used his publicity to issue a threat to President Donald Trump, when he

said that, if Trump does not move forward with his agenda, he will have to "take matters

into his own hands".

In his statement McCain wrote : "More than six months after President Trump's inauguration,

there still is no strategy for success in Afghanistan.

Eight years of a 'don't lose strategy has cost us lives and treasure in Afghanistan.

Our troops deserve better."

As all indicators show, McCain has no intention to stop acting like a shameless traitor to

his people.

However now, he has stepped on the President's nerve.

According to a report from World Politics, President Trump has had enough of his threats

to "take matters into his own hands."

A lot of people believed that after he was diagnosed with a severe and aggressive disease

such as brain cancer, McCain would finally leave the political scene.

However, they were wrong, and McCain seems more determined than ever to spread his hateful

attacks on President Trump and give Americans a hard time.

What I Buy From Costco - Costco Haul - Duration: 3:28.

hey guys it's Hashtag Zoe, welcome back to my channel. so for today's video I have a

Costco haul for those of you who don't know what Costco is it's basically a

wholesale grocery store and buy wholesale I mean that they sell things

in bulk or in bigger sizes so I'm just gonna show you the things that my family

buys from Costco if you're curious and if you're not curious then um just keep

on watching one day I was like wow I'm really in the

mood for tortilla soup and then I saw this at Costco and I got it and I tried

it and it's so good if you like chicken tortilla soup this is it gonna be your

faith thing ever it's so good you literally just like heat it up

you're like warm it up and it's so good highly recommend and the way I like to

eat it is with avocado and like cheese inside it's really good so get the soup

going with the trend of tortillas um I caught some corn tortillas and my some I

mean a lot so this is just uh some corn tortillas next thing I got is this huge

bag of boom chicka pop and literally Alicia Marie who? this stuff is amazing

really good probably not good for you but the next thing that I got is some

bananas

for like a dollar ninety-nine which that's great thanks Costco the next

thing I got was this huge thing of crystals if you know me you know I like

croissant so I'm very excited these are butter croissant these are

huge this one croissants probably besides my face I'm not even gonna lie

so got crisps on the next thing that I got was sourdough bread um I love Brent

I love bread and this is a brand Boudine. I think it's how you say it this is like

the og sourdough bread they make this in San Francisco and I go to San Francisco

all the time and they've had the factory they're like I just said and I was

really excited when I found out that they sell this at Costco because I love

bread next thing that I got was some Parmesan cheese this is some crap so

looks really nice and that's all I have to say it's just cheese this is a new

item that I got I usually don't purchase this but I decided to try it out these

are simply clusters fruit seeds and nut butters and they look healthy and I hope

they're good I'll keep you guys updated and honestly if they're not good it kind

of looks like bird foods so I could just put it outside and hope some birds

enjoy melons

I also got some cantaloupe and the last thing that I got because I was so cheesy

in his favor has been one of the most covered topics by ABC and other mainstream cable networks

since campaign season, despite no smoking gun for the allegations so far.

"ABC News was the only channel I watched as a child growing up in Texas but I think

they have lost touch with America and forgotten the working man," Courtney said.

of touch with most people's concerns, compared to only 30 percent of the GOP who see Trump

or the GOP as out of touch.

So me and a couple of my new friends from the hostel

just drove an hour and a half to Kuta Lombok

and now we're at Tanjung Aan beach

It's inside a bay and it is beautiful

So one this tiny peninsula we have a 360 degree view

Now we're going to Bukit Merese (or Merese Hills)

It's right next to Tanjung Aan and I've heard great things about this place

reason I want to create nor link was primarily as an offset to the

existential risk associated with artificial intelligence I think we will

hear intelligence will be not I mean will not be able to beat AI so then if

you know the saying goes we can't beat em join em kind of thing so they having

the point of neural link now along the way I think they'll be a lot of good

becomes a sort of you know brain AI some buyout situation so if we play it you'll

see it coming okay everyone or what happened all of a

sudden Betty I do you think it increases the long-term relevance of human

exploration and yeah and yeah I think I think it's for me it increased my

motivation long-term that that it doesn't just need to be done by robots

working on AI and making sure it's great future that's that's the most important

thing I think right now the most pressing item so then obviously I think

Institute with genetics if you can actually solve genetic diseases if you

can prevent dementia or Alzheimer's or something like that that was genetic

reprogramming that would be wonderful so I think this

genetics it might be a sort of second most important item I think having a

computers phones applications we're effectively superhuman but we're

extremely bandwidth constrained in that interface between the cortex and you're

sort of that the tertiary digital form of yourself and having solve that

bandwidth constraint would would be I think very important for the future as

well what is the world that would we would like to be in where there is this

digital super intelligence I think the and another point that I think is really

important to appreciate is that we are all of us already our sidewalks so you

have a machine extension of yourself in the form of your your phone and your

computer and all your applications you are already superhuman but by far you

have a more powerful capability then press the United States had you know 30

years ago if you have an internet link you have an article of wisdom you can

communicate to millions of people you communicate to the rest of earth

instantly I mean these are magical powers

that didn't exist not that long ago so everyone is already superhuman and a

sidewalk the limitation is one of bandwidth so we're bandwidth constrained

particularly on output so our input is much better but our output is extremely

slow and if you want to be generous you could say maybe it's a few hundred bits

per second or a kilobyte or something like that output a bit you know the way

we output is like about little meat sticks that we move spray slowly and and

push buttons or tap tap a little screen and that's just extremely slow and

you know compare that to a computer which can communicate at the terabit

level it's a very big orders 92 differences that our input is much

better because of vision but even that could be enhanced significantly I think

I think the the two things that are needed for look for a good future that

we would look at and concluded is good most likely is we we have to solve that

bandwidth constraint with it with a direct neural interface I think a high

bandwidth interface to the cortex so that we can have a digital tertiary

layer that's more full of more fully symbiotic with with the rest of us like

we've got we got the cortex and the limbic system which seem to work

together pretty well they've got good bandwidth whereas the bandwidth to a

digital toshi layer is is weak so I think it's extremely important that it

be widespread and that we solve the bandwidth issue and if we do those

things then then it will be tied to our consciousness tied to our will tied to

the sum of individual human will and and everyone would have it so it would be

sort of still a relatively even playing field in fact it would be probably more

egalitarian than today one of the solutions is to have an AI layer if you

think of like you've got your limbic system your cortex and then digital

layer a sort of third layer above the cortex that could work well and

symbiotically with with you of course turning humans into cyborgs may sound

like the stuff of science fiction but then again that is Elon Musk's forte so

would he develop this kind of technology himself somebody's got to do it I'm not

saying that I will but I'm somebody's gonna do it I mean III mean I somebody

should do it and I mean if somebody doesn't do it then I then I think I

should probably do it we do know that it's called neural link and for more we

are joined by science journalist and futurist George divorce key who has been

covering this for Gizmodo George divorce key is in Oakville Ontario hello hello

thanks for having me this morning so what are you expecting Elon Musk to

announce later this week well I certainly expect some more details right

now the so called neural link is quite vague in terms of what this is what this

is supposed to look like what it's even supposed to do the site of course from

some of the comments that musk has made in recent months specifically though

what I am expecting to hear though will be I guess the initial approach towards

achieving this you know this these you know chips that will be implanted in our

brain and what we hope to accomplish with them initially it's it's quite

conceivable that nearly who will be working not to enhance or to even you

know add AI to our brains initially but you actually become therapeutic these

these same technologies can be used to treat say Alzheimer's or Parkinson's or

even seizures for example and I think that's a good pathway into this

particular area but knowing musk of course and knowing them the kinds of

visions that he has he's not going to be content to stop there and with the same

sorts of technologies you can now start to perhaps modify other aspects of

cognition things like memory and intelligence even for example

transmitting thoughts to and from a computer just with you know with your

with just thinking about it you could transmit your you know your memories and

your thoughts to a computer it's difficult to say if musk will get to

that level of specificity in his comments later this week but that's

certainly what I would probably looking out for this week well George that he

has ventures to develop something called neuro lace can you help us picture what

that is because he used the word lace there I'm imagining that it is going to

be a kind of mesh that will be overlaid over certain parts of the brain as we

know the brain isn't just this big piece of much that that does everything and

anything everywhere we our brains are broken down into different modules so

for example if you put this mesh array area around the motor cortex the area

that controls movement then this lace would pick up those signals when we say

for example I want to move my finger or I'd like to move my leg the lace will

pick up those signals and it will then transmit those signals I would hope

wirelessly because no one wants to have wires sticking out of their heads and we

already do have chips and animal models for

well that can transmit a wireless signals to a receiving device namely a

computer hence the list which is why we're using the word into interface here

so basically it would look like that kind of a mesh if not a mesh or the lace

could also conceivably be a literal chip a literal brain chip that's set again

rests at a specific area of the brain what we're talking about something

surgically implanted though eventually absolutely in order to get the kind of

fidelity the kind of you know this is the power of this of the signals to you

know move let's say an artificial arm or to even transmit our thoughts we're

gonna have to get right there into the brain I mean we do have what are called

EEG technologies today which is like a cap you can wear on your head but the

amount of information that can be extracted just through your electrical

signals externally is extremely minimal very I mean you might be able to make a

gesture like you're thinking of moving to the left or thinking of moving to the

right but no no if you if you want to get down to the to the levels that musk

is talking about we've got to get right into the brain itself well you know

we've got somebody waiting in the wings who's already using technology where the

brain can control a limb through you or the brain can control movement of a

machine so what would be different with this technology what would he really

want to use it for well I mean he wants to save the world apparently and I mean

right now he as I mentioned earlier there's going to be a therapeutic aspect

to it that's gonna be wonderful and he has listed this company as a it is

listed as a medical firm so they are going to be producing medical devices at

first and of course there this is a multi-million dollar industry so he

knows what he's doing by you know becoming one of the first to market here

but s musk has said you know artificial intelligence is progressing rapidly and

we're getting to the day maybe 20 years from now maybe 50 years from now but we

will get there eventually when artificial intelligence exceeds human

capacities in virtually every way and musk solution is an interesting one he's

not the first to suggest this other futurist have also suggested this is

that the best way for us to for us to be able to control and contain our

artificial intelligence is that if you can't beat them join them mentality and

we will merge with our machines so the idea here

that he literally believes that we can kind of save ourselves from perhaps

subjugation or some kind of an artificial intelligence disaster by

augmenting ourselves along with our artificial intelligence and that way we

kind of keep up with them should anything go askew in the future

do you see any resistance to this as most forward I most certainly I mean as

I'm sure that your listeners are aware that this issue is fraught with ethical

difficulties everything from how do you find test subjects who are willing to

have chips implanted into their brain or these meshes implanted into their brain

what kind of levels of consent can you get I mean at this point are humans

being treated as a means to an end in order to let's say stave off that the

threats posed by artificial intelligence what kind of animal motley at testing

would be required you know through these kinds of experiments and of course

there's the broader more philosophical question as to what this means to our

humanity what does it means to us as as humans you know for example this these

sorts of technologies don't just stand to improve our intelligence to let's say

Einsteinian levels where we are these mathematical logical geniuses these

technologies they they have the potential to utterly transform what we

are as humans in enter into the realm of the so-called posthuman in other words

this kind of entity that exists after humans and at this point we're talking

thousands if not even millions of times you know greater levels of capacity than

current humans so we have to ask ourselves right now how will these

technologies alter who we are as humans in what ways could that be a benefit in

what ways could that be detrimental so it opens up a whole you know whole area

of discussion
