2019 기아 K3 GT 5-door 준중형 세단은 통상 사회 초년생이나 적당한 크기에 그리 비싸지 않은 차를 찾는 이들이 선호한다.
운전의 재미나 멋있는 스타일을 추구하는 차는 아니다.
적당한 실내공간과 트렁크,
보기 싫지 않은 디자인에 평범함이 미덕인 세그먼트라고 할 수 있다.
현대차가 아반떼 AD를 출시 할 때 '슈퍼 노말'이라는 광고 카피 문구를 사용한 이유도 여기에 있다.
지난해 초 출시한 K3는 1.
6L MPI 가솔린 엔진과 무단변속기를 조합했다.
운전의 재미보단 효율에 초점을 맞춘 구성이다.
그러나 평범하다는 것이 때로는 지루하게 느껴질 수 있다.
기아차는 특별한 준중형 세단을 찾는 이들을 위해 한 단계 고급 버전의 'GT'라는 이름을 붙인 K3를 출시했다.
GT는 '그랜드 투어링'의 약자로 장거리 여행을 할 수 있는 충분한 출력과 넉넉한 적재공간을 마련한 차량이다.
2019 기아 K3 GT 5-door 외관 K3는 흠잡을 곳이 별로 없는 외모였지만 GT 옷을 입은 K3는 더 화려하게 태어났다.
K3 GT는 4도어 세단과 5도어 버전으로 판매된다.
시승 차량은 5도어 모델이다.
외관은 기본적으로 왜건형이지만 세련미를 더해 해치백과 패스트백을 넘나든다.
완만하게 누운 C필러 덕분에 유럽에서는 슈팅브레이크라고 불릴 수 있을 정도의 디자인을 갖추고 있다.
세단형에 비해 더 디자인이 좋다는 평가를 하는 경우도 있을 정도다.
전용 알루미늄 휠과 바디킷을 입은 외관은 더욱 화려해졌다 세단과 패스트백으로 이원화 해 차별성을 부각시켰다 기본형 K3가 이미 다이내믹한 외모를 갖춘 탓인지 GT라는 이름을 붙이고도 변화는 크지 않다.
K3 GT엔 다크크롬에 빨간색 포인트가 들어간 라디에이터 그릴이 자리를 잡는다.
측면엔 검정색 사이드미러 커버와 사이드실 몰딩 그리고 레드 휠캡이 돋보이는 18인치 휠 등 소소한 변화로 차별화를 했다.
듀얼 머플러도 K3 GT만의 특징이다.
GT 버전에만 존재하는 5도어 모델은 특별한 디자인으로 다가온다.
실제로 K3 GT를 선택하는 대부분 소비자들은 개성파로 볼 수 있다.
유별난 개성을 내세운 5도어 모델을 구매하는 것이다.
2019 기아 K3 GT 5-door 실내 실내에는 고성능을 지향하는 만큼 D컷 스티어링휠을 적용했다.
또한 붉은색 스티치를 시트,
변속기,
스티어링휠 등에 사용해 K3 GT가 '특별한 차'임을 암시한다.
도어에는 독특한 문양의 무드램프도 마련됐다.
조수석 앞 대시보드에 쓰여진 GT라는 글씨에도 불이 들어온다.
빛이 약해 잘 보이진 않지만 귀여운 요소다.
레그룸은 충분,
낮은 루프라인 덕에 헤드룸은 좁은 편이다 K3 GT에는 세미 버킷 타입 시트가 적용됐다.
본격적인 레이싱을 위해선 부족하지만 착좌감은 '굿'이다.
다만 시트 높이가 높은 게 조금 불편할 수 있겠다.
패스트백 스타일의 차량은 으레 2열 헤드룸이 좁기 마련이다.
2열공간은 만족스럽다.
K3 GT는 뒷좌석에 꽤나 여유로운 공간을 마련했다.
여기에 2열 송풍구,
2단 열선 시트,
중간에 쓸만한 암레스트를 마련해 편의성도 높였다.
5도어 모델(428L)은 4도어 모델(502L)보다 트렁크 용량이 적다.
대신 5도어 모델은 트렁크를 열면 뒷유리가 같이 열리는 방식이라 짐을 넣고 빼기 한결 수월하다.
아울러 60대40으로 폴딩되는 뒷좌석을 접으면 공간은 더 늘어나 세단에 비해 더 큰 짐을 실을 수 있다.
왜건형의 장점이다.
현대기아차가 두루 사용하는 1.
6L 터보 직분사 가솔린 엔진 K3 GT의 가장 큰 특징은 파워트레인 변화다.

6L T-GDI 엔진과 7단 DCT의 조합이다.
기본형보다 무려 81마력 높은 204마력의 최고출력을 발휘한다.
시동을 걸면 터보 엔진음이 실내로 유입된다.
우렁차다고 하기에는 어패가 있을 수 있는 소리다.
물론 골프GTI 같은 고성능 모델의 배기음을 생각하면 실망 할 수 있다.
2000만원대 중반 가격에서 나름 중후한 배기음에 고성능을 살짝 체험할 수 있는 몇 안 되는 차다.
GT라는 엠블럼이 무색할 정도로 실내는 고요하다.
정숙성은 수준급이다.
가속페달에 힘을 주면 엔진은 이내 중저음의 큰 소리로 기지개를 켠다.
변속기 위치를 스포츠에 두면 사운드 제너레이터가 배기음에 힘을 보탠다.
인위적인 느낌은 지울 수 없지만 꽤나 재밌는 요소다.
실용구간은 물론 고속에서도 재가속이 훌륭하다.
약간의 터보랙은 있지만 최고출력 204마력을 내는 엔진은 부족함이 없다.
스티어링 휠 뒤에 마련된 패들시프트를 사용해 기어 단수를 올리고 내릴 수 있다.
즉각적이진 않지만 꽤나 재밌다.
앞 맥퍼슨,
뒤 멀티링크 방식의 서스펜션은 정제되지 않은 노면 진동을 운전자에게 전달해 도로와 호흡을 같이 하게 만든다.
편안한 주행을 하고 싶을 때도 차체는 계속 통통튄다.
스포츠 주행 모드에 넣고 고속으로 주행할 때는 단단한 서스펜션이 한결 든든하게 다가온다.
전용 알루미늄 휠과 바디킷을 더해 더욱 화려해졌다 급한 코너에서도 롤이 많이 억제돼 코너링의 한계치가 높아진다.
실주행에서 11km/L 내외를 발휘하는 연비도 준수하다.
다만 브레이크는 2% 아쉽다.
시승차 앞바퀴에는 윈터 타이어,
뒷바퀴에는 미쉐린 PS4 썸머 타이어가 순정 그대로 장착돼서일까.
그래서인지 고속에서 브레이킹을 하면 불안한 느낌을 지울 수 없다.
K3 GT에 적용된 주행보조 시스템도 쓸만하다.
전동 파킹브레이크 대신 사이드 브레이크가 달려 있어 완전정지까지는 지원하지 않는다.
차로 중앙을 정확하게 유지하는 것은 물론 앞 차와의 간격 유지도 가능하다.
이 외에 안전구간 자동감속 기능,
후측방 경고,
후방 교차 충돌 경고,
차로 이탈 경고,
운전자 주의 경고 등의 기능도 장착돼 안전운전을 돕는다.
다재다능한 매력을 갖춘 리틀 스팅어 K3 GT K3 GT는 매력적인 디자인과 탄탄한 주행성을 갖췄다.
공간,
연비,
스타일,
성능 등 모든 부분에서 평범함을 벗었다.
극적인 변화는 아니지만 평범한 일상을 다이나믹하게 변화시킬 수 있는 차다.
개성파라면 장바구니에 담아 놓고 고민해 볼만한 물건이다.
한 줄 평 장점 : 고성능 기본을 갖춘 가성비 좋은 차.
D컷 스티어링 등 매력적 실내 단점 : 인위적인 배기음,

Parents retrace late daughter's round-the-world trip to meet Tongan baby girl she delivered 21 year - Duration: 4:46.
Parents who have travelled the world in memory of their late daughter have retraced her steps to Tonga to find the first baby she ever delivered
Roger and Lynette Clark, who are in their 70s, followed entries in the travel journal kept by their daughter Lisa, who died aged 40 of ovarian cancer in October 2012
In 2016, they travelled 8,000 miles to photograph the same breed of penguin that featured an old postcard from Lisa from her holiday in Australia, then made the trip a second time after realising they had captured the wrong bird
They have now completed a mission to meet the baby girl Lisa, a doctor, delivered 21 years ago during her medical training in Tonga
Armed with just a name and a picture of the mother and baby after the birth, Mr Clark spent a month trying to trace the girl before embarking on the month-long trip
He contacted genealogy experts, the hospital where the baby was delivered, the Ministry of Tourism in Tonga and the Tonga Registry Office, even posting on Facebook, before finally getting the name of the girl's village, Ta'anea, from the Tonga High Commission in London
Dr Clark, who worked as an A&E consultant, was 26 when she was sent to train in Tonga by her London medical school in 1997, and wrote letters to her parents recommending places for them to stay
She told her father on her deathbed: "Dad, I don't want to be forgotten." The trip, from December 15, 2018 to January 17, 2019, saw Mr and Mrs Clark travel from Chandler's Ford, Hants, to Macquarie Island near New Zealand to photograph rare Royal penguins, the New Zealand Northlands, and the Tongan Island of Vava'u, where the baby was delivered
Writing about the delivery in her journal, Lisa said: "I went to the hospital and after a lot of waiting around I delivered my first baby and it weighed 9lb 12oz
"It was all a bit nerve wracking but I loved it. It was the mother's eighth baby - she was 40 - and it was a little girl this time
"The lady was very proud though and even named her after me." After a visit Ta'anea hospital where the child was born on January 28, 1997, a village resident recognised the mother from the Clark's photograph and directed them to the family's house
Mr Clark said that, after a halting introduction, they had managed to communicate with the Tongan family via one member who spoke English, eventually being introduced to the 21-year-old girl, who is now called Meleane
"I really felt very humbled to meet the family," said Mr Clark. "I knew, for me, it was a really important moment and I wanted to make this girl feel special, but I thought about it from her angle - we were just some tourists with some loose connection to her
"We had to prove to them we were friendly and honest, and we ended up having a wonderful connection with Meleane and the family
" After dinner with Meleane, the couple made their final stop at Paradise Hotel in Ta'anea, which Dr Clark had stayed at during her trip
"As I slowly shut the door to room 115 [where she had stayed], I felt a strong sense of personal closure," Mr Clark said
"We had followed Lisa's footsteps though her diaries, we had seen what she wanted us to see, we had touched on her foreign experiences

Parents retrace late daughter's round-the-world trip to meet Tongan baby girl she delivered 21 year - Duration: 4:46.Parents who have travelled the world in memory of their late daughter have retraced her steps to Tonga to find the first baby she ever delivered
Roger and Lynette Clark, who are in their 70s, followed entries in the travel journal kept by their daughter Lisa, who died aged 40 of ovarian cancer in October 2012
In 2016, they travelled 8,000 miles to photograph the same breed of penguin that featured an old postcard from Lisa from her holiday in Australia, then made the trip a second time after realising they had captured the wrong bird
They have now completed a mission to meet the baby girl Lisa, a doctor, delivered 21 years ago during her medical training in Tonga
Armed with just a name and a picture of the mother and baby after the birth, Mr Clark spent a month trying to trace the girl before embarking on the month-long trip
He contacted genealogy experts, the hospital where the baby was delivered, the Ministry of Tourism in Tonga and the Tonga Registry Office, even posting on Facebook, before finally getting the name of the girl's village, Ta'anea, from the Tonga High Commission in London
Dr Clark, who worked as an A&E consultant, was 26 when she was sent to train in Tonga by her London medical school in 1997, and wrote letters to her parents recommending places for them to stay
She told her father on her deathbed: "Dad, I don't want to be forgotten." The trip, from December 15, 2018 to January 17, 2019, saw Mr and Mrs Clark travel from Chandler's Ford, Hants, to Macquarie Island near New Zealand to photograph rare Royal penguins, the New Zealand Northlands, and the Tongan Island of Vava'u, where the baby was delivered
Writing about the delivery in her journal, Lisa said: "I went to the hospital and after a lot of waiting around I delivered my first baby and it weighed 9lb 12oz
"It was all a bit nerve wracking but I loved it. It was the mother's eighth baby - she was 40 - and it was a little girl this time
"The lady was very proud though and even named her after me." After a visit Ta'anea hospital where the child was born on January 28, 1997, a village resident recognised the mother from the Clark's photograph and directed them to the family's house
Mr Clark said that, after a halting introduction, they had managed to communicate with the Tongan family via one member who spoke English, eventually being introduced to the 21-year-old girl, who is now called Meleane
"I really felt very humbled to meet the family," said Mr Clark. "I knew, for me, it was a really important moment and I wanted to make this girl feel special, but I thought about it from her angle - we were just some tourists with some loose connection to her
"We had to prove to them we were friendly and honest, and we ended up having a wonderful connection with Meleane and the family
" After dinner with Meleane, the couple made their final stop at Paradise Hotel in Ta'anea, which Dr Clark had stayed at during her trip
"As I slowly shut the door to room 115 [where she had stayed], I felt a strong sense of personal closure," Mr Clark said
"We had followed Lisa's footsteps though her diaries, we had seen what she wanted us to see, we had touched on her foreign experiences

Today we will be playing all 3 battle songs you'd hear in Guitar Hero III.

Clone Hero is a game that lets you download any setlist from any Guitar Hero or Rock Band game.

As you saw, there was some lag in the middle of that song.
Yeah, my screen recorder isn't the best...
But there are some instances when the lag doesn't come from my screen recorder, but rather it's Clone Hero's fault.
So if there are some pauses, speedups, and clusters of mistakes, blame Clone Hero, not me.
