This is the Q&A - 2! Watch Q&A - 1 first
This is a long and serious question
Okay...!
I'm ready..!
Why are you so adorable?
Tha.... Thank you...!
I would like to know if it's very difficult to see Brazilians in Korea
What I know is that Brazilians are not many in Korea compare to other countries
If you come to Korea more, Korea and Brazil will be closer hehe
Unni, makes a video trying to speak Portuguese
or does a showing kpop companies in Korea
I actually went to SM Coex center to show you
so I brought my camera and visited there
But I was banned to enter because I had a camera :(
I can't film inside
But if you are fine with a video like:
"This is a SM company building."
If you think it's still interesting, I can try
But entering inside is still impossible so....
Q&A: What do you do when you have some free time alone!?
like a solo activity (exemple: drawing, cooking, etc)
I sincerely love OVERWATCH!!!
I'm playing overwatch most of the time because I love playing games!
If I'm not playing games, I watch American dramas
Game of thrones is one of the most awesome American dramas I love
and Walking dead! I'm watching it from the beginning again
Cooking is not my thing, so I don't do it.
Instead, I love EATING.
EATING TA BOM!
Lara Unnie, I'm currently in my last year of high school (I live in the UK)
and will be soon going to college.
My biggest dream is to start learning Korean as soon as I finish high school,
I don't want to start now due to the exams that will be coming up
and I really want to only focus on them, but do you have any advice on how to get started?
I hope you enjoy your time in Japan, I love your videos ☺️❤️
Just like her question, there were 6 to 7 questions about how to learn Korean!
I'm going to answer for these questions
by telling you how I learned English and Japanese
First of all, English
Any Koreans would have to learn English at school
But English taught in school is mainly about Grammar!
It can never be helpful in the English conversation
As soon as I realized that, I started to learn English with YouTube
I watched so many English YouTubers' videos
and I listened
While I was listening, I tried to make an English script of the video
If I watched a same video for 20~30 times, I could make a script
So with that script that I made
I could do the English listening
When the youtuber said one sentence, I stopped and I repeated
So by watching YouTube videos, I could listen
Write, Speak and Read in English
I did the same in Japanese too
I practiced Japanese with animes
I watched animes with Korean subtitles
and if I keep watching episodes
I could remember basic expressions that were used frequently
For example: I love you
Hello and Hello
Bye Really?
Hello (to customers)
Basic expressions like these?
So I started to memorize all those things
After that I started to remember longer sentences
Where is this?
What do you like the most among these?
I'm going to be.... the pirate king!!!!
I learned Japanese from Anime only, and I went to Japan
There were no problems! (It worked perfectly)
If you want to study Korean like I did,
Firstly you need to learn Hangul, how to read and write Korean
It's basic!
Once you mastered Hangul
Start watching Korean Youtubers' videos
Try to make a script of my video one by one
If you made a script, listen to what I say
and repeat the words or sentences
If you do that, you can practice reading, speaking, listening and writing!
It's hard at first to learn Korean with YouTube
But when you are getting used to this way
You'll be able to learn natural Korean
So I was thinking that, Patreon??
I still don't know the pronunciation hahaha...
One of the Patreon ideas
I'm thinking to give my video script in Korean to those who support me
It'll be a lot easier, and it'll help you to learn Korean
WooLara, how come Koreans see fat people? (Korean or foreign)
I have heard that they suffer a lot because of the beauty standards
So hard... (Reading Portuguese)
First of all, the obesity rate in Korea is very low
It means that the society is teaching people getting fat is never good
And if you want to buy clothes, btw do you think I'm huge in size?
I can never wear 'small' size in Korea
I should wear medium or large size all the time
Sometimes I have to wear XL size!
There once a super famous idol
who said on the TV like this:
"Hmmm whenever I see fat women,
they seem like they are not trying
so I don't like fat women."
SHAME
I will not tell you who that idol was
Among many things, what else do you like in Korea?
What I like the most about Korea is the transportation system
There's a card called T-money (It's a transportation card)
With that T-Money card, you can take Bus, Taxi and subways
And you can even use that card in every cities in Korea
Even more, you can use T-Money card in the convenient stores to buy stuff
In fact Koreans do not even have to use T-money cards
I use my debit card or a credit card and tag it through the gate
Not only that, there's an unbelievably good thing
When you have to go somewhere by taking subway and bus in other countries,
Then you have to pay for the subway fee, and the bus fee respectively
But not in Korea
From the spot that you departed to the spot that you arrived
even if you had to take the subway and bus and then subway again,
You only have to pay the fee depends on how long you traveled
Also thanks for the transportation system
It's so convenient to do the online shopping
If you buy something today, It comes tomorrow (or 2 days later)
If it takes more than 2 days
They apologize for us for the delay
Lara unnie how Korean people react when you say that you date a Brazilian?
I wanna say i love you sooo much. With love, Barbara ^^*
If I tell someone that I'm seeing a foreigner,
They all go like, "Wow really? Where's he from?"
and if I answer that he's from Brazil
"What really? Brazil? Wow interesting!
How did you find someone from Brazil?"
They usually find it interesting
I think these reactions are the proves that Brazilians are not many in Korea
It's hard, as a foreigner, to find a job in Korea with a basic level of Korean?
Or what kind of tips would you tell to someone that is planning to find a job in Korea?
First of all, things are not good here in Korea
especially to find jobs. It's terrible
It's even hard for Koreans who graduated universities to get jobs
I'm so sorry to tell you this but
Situation in Korea isn't really good
But if you still want to get a job in Korea
then you need to be good at Korean
English is a must!
Then if you have a different mother tongue, it's good
If you can speak more than three languages,
Then it'll be possible to get a job in Korea in the oversea sales team
"If you do your best, you can do it ^^!"
I didn't wanna say something like this, because it's a lie
so I'm telling you this
It's not good now, sorry :(
I'll ask questions, I love you.
What's your height? Weight? birthday? How old are you, in Korea and in Brazil?
I hope you answer me kisses
Ah, first I'm 171cm tall
My birthday is June 2nd
And my Korean age is 26, my international age is 25!
All good? :D
Next question~
Hmm?
My weight? Oh my weight~
Hmm it's been so long since I did the Q&A before
so I tried to answer as many questions as I could
How was it?
I said I want to communicate with you more often
so I'll read many comments like I did now
It doesn't even have to be a question! If you write something fun, I'll read it :D
I really want to thank you for so many things
Big part of my life has changed
and it was because of you all!
So I'm keep thinking like I should do my best :D
See you next time friends! BYE BYE
