Welcome back.

I've finally finished my new edge belt sander table.

Because of the way I work, this kind of edge belt sander is one of the tools I rely on

most, and I use it in almost all of my projects.

I designed it with portability in mind, and so I can mount it on almost any kind of workbench.

This is the one I've been using for a couple of years.

As you can see, it's simply a portable belt sander that's been rotated and attached to a table.

The problem is it lacks power.

The belt is short and the wheels, one of the parts I use most, are not easily accessible.

Placing and removing the sanding belt is quite easy.

You only have to loosen or tighten this tensioner.

I can calibrate the sanding belt by tightnening and loosening this screw.

In the end I decided to place this third wheel to calibrate the belt because I need the other

two to be firmly locked and in proper alignment to avoid imperfections when operating it.

I've also developed this dust collection system.

I can put it in line with the belt or rotate it to different positions.

I'm going to perform some tests to show you how the sander works.

First, at a 90 degree angle .

And here with pieces rotated to a 45 degree angle.

This way I can sand the longer pieces edgewise, and the dust collection systems works the same way.

I'll try the sanding wheels on this electric guitar body.

It's a great example because it has several kinds of curves.

The big wheel will be most useful when sanding wide curves such as this one.

The straight part of the sander is for this kind of curves,

and the small wheel is for tight, hard-to-access curves.

This is the 3D file you'll find in the plans.

These are the two pieces I'll make first: the sander's base and top.

I cut all the necessary pieces with the table saw.

I glue the printable template onto the plywood to mark the holes we need in the top.

I can use those to mark the same holes on the base and make sure the wheels are aligned with the base.

After screwing it together temporarily, I drill the holes with this plunge router rig with a drill.

With this straight bit, I mark the position of the bearings.

Having marked both pieces, I drill a hole for the bearings.

Now I can screw the base to these legs.

I cut the contour of the top and after sanding the edges, I make a rebate for the belt tensioner.

Now I'll make a hole for the motor with this plunge router.

This kind of motor is attached to the front, making it ideal for this purpose.

I finish the job with a jig saw.

I glue the printable template to cut the hole that will allow me to rotate the dust collection system,

and do the same with the gap where the belt tensioner will be.

Now I'll build the sander's bigger traction wheel.

I mark all the pieces and cut them with the jig saw.

The lathe's sanding disc will come in handy to make them all perfectly round.

I'll use the wheel's rod itself to function as axis like this.

I make this little groove in the rod with an angle grinder.

Now I mark the position of the pieces on the rod and glue them together.

When the glue is dry, I'll use this screw like this to lock the wheel to the rod.

I put in the bearings and and the sander's wheels in place.

These are the aluminum ones I made in my previous video.

I put in all the necessary washers and now I can attach the top.

I cut the straight part that's in contact with the belt and screw it in.

First the top and, after making sure it's properly aligned with the base, the bottom.

This is the belt tensioner.

After verifying it's the right size, I drill holes for the two screws that will serve as

rotation axis.

I used a bit 1mm less than the diameter of the screw.

I test the tensioner and check if the wheels are aligned with the base.

This is crucial for the proper operation of the sander.

I'll test everything with a drill anchored to the traction wheel.

This got me to think that this design could be adapted to be used with a drill,

whether on the top or on the bottom.

A designer's goal when trying to integrate technology into their products is to make a profit

to find an improvement for the market it is targeting

How can we domesticate

this technology that surrounds us so that it's present but we don't realize it

Obviously now it's industrial design together with the designer of the data model, the computer model

A part of our role as designers is to make sure that the data

reaches the user, but in such a way that the present data we are collecting today

becomes an anticipation of the future

now we can listen to the user

without delays

I'm not afraid of being monitored, my problem is that it's imposed on me

Not that monitoring is imposed on me per say, but the market results obtained from that monitoring

The life we lead has been enabled by technological advances

and the way in which we apply it to furniture will always be tied to a large dose of humanity

Well for me, honestly, all of this artificial technology stuff scares me a bit

because it seems as if we have to stop using our own

When we consider integrating this technology into a seat, there are a number of handicaps

or in other words, first we're talking about a lot of sensors, we're talking about electric wires, we're talking about batteries

we're talking about the fact that these chairs will definitely have to be recharged

What is interesting is that in the end, the ultimate goal is to achieve wellbeing and productivity in people

In any environment, wherever we are

Mercedes Rear Differential Oil Change - Duration: 7:06.

ladies and gentlemen This is Keith from I-repair auto today I'm gonna be showing you how

to do a rear differential oil change on your Mercedes it's the same as the front

differential plugs are the same and but I'm gonna be focusing on the rear

differential today if you want to see how to do the front just leave me a

comment down below let's get started okay but before we get started I know

you've been meaning to subscribe and by doing so and sharing and thumping up the

video you push it up in the search engines results for you to which makes

it easier to find for other Mercedes users and they can benefit from it to do

that no thanks so here we have the Mercedes oil and then actually Mercedes

Mercedes doesn't make oil but I got this on Mercedes SAE 75 weight - 85 this is

what you're gonna use you're gonna use 1.3 US courts but this is one point zero

five quarts so you're gonna need two of these you're gonna measure it measure it

out to 1.3 you're gonna use an 8 millimeter hex socket and you're gonna

get two new plugs don't reuse the old ones I got these on Mercedes I need two

of these links in the description down below for the plugs the oil and even the

eight millimeter fitting that we're gonna use alright so the location of

this drain plug and fill plug under rear differential is in the center of the

rear of the vehicle so this is the right wheel left wheels over there and then

right here is your differential this is your differential for the rear there's

one on the front today we're focusing on changing the oil out and this is your

drain plug right here and right above it is the fill plug both of those

fill plug drain plug we're going to loosen up the fill plug first to make

sure that we can fill it back up with new oil before we release the oil from

the drain plug you do it the other way around and drain it out and have

problems filling it then you're going to be in for a world of a hurt

and once the fill plug is loosened out then we know we can loosen up the drain

plug to drain out all that spent Giro oil together the drain plug because the

muffler is right here in between drain plug and muffler it's not feasible to

get the socket wrench in this I'm going to use this L 8 millimeter I'm gonna put

it in here just so I can remove this all right

so also we've broken that seal and I'm gonna just move that out of the way and

I'm gonna put a bucket on I need to get the spent oil let's loosen this up and

remove it

and we're gonna just let that drain until it's all done to fill it

differential I'm gonna use this trans fluid gear oil spout and we can get this

online and to do that effectively it has a nice little connection port anyway the

initial mercedes container doesn't fit this so I transferred the content to a

regular oil quart of oil container and I'm gonna connect that up to it this is

what it looks like once it's connected all right we're gonna take the one of

the new plugs has a little nice little washer on there little gasket and we're

gonna observe that they're still dripping so we're gonna wait until all

the dripping is done once all the oil is done drain it out put the new one in

give all the way and I like to work piece in my hand as far as possible

then only then until they got it in as far as possible by hand when I use a

tool

it's actually better to use it without the funnel holes so we're gonna just

push this in to the port and this has an on/off open closed position so it's

going to put it into that position with it closed and then open it and squeeze

all this oil in put that in and now we're going to fill it

by squeezing its oil into place and this is the first mrs. this is court one okay

remember ladies and gentlemen that you're only going to be using 1.3 quarts

of oil that's a little bit less than one and a half quarts so 1.3 quarts of oil

is all that you need

there's a fill plug hole here's the fill plug and then we're gonna put it back in

place of course you always do it by hand to get started I like to do it as

tightly as I can by hand before I put any tool on it taking my 8 millimeter

and that's it everything that's done take it for a test drive before you take

it for a test drive clean up any oil that's around here

clean it off wash it off get all the oil off the exhaust pipe if you don't it

will smoke a little not a big deal just be cognizant of that clean it off take

you for a test drive and when you come back check for any leaks as always

How To Treat An Asthma Attack | What To Do During An Asthma Attack | Inhaler Treatment At Home - Duration: 1:38.

Every ten seconds someone has a potentially life threatening asthma attack

so how to treat an asthma attack in both children and adults please like and share as you could save a life

asthma attacks can be frightening, one of my close friends used to get them quite often during the winter

so here's what to do with them

first sit down try and take slow steady breaths

and remain calm panicking will only make things worse

next take 1 puff of your reliever inhaler it's usually the blue salbutamol one

every 30 to 60 seconds for a maximum of 10 puffs try and use a spacer device if you have one

so here's a top pharmacist tip remember to shake the

inhaler before every puff so the medicine mixes with the propellant if you

don't you're gonna get more propellant coming out than medicine

so it wont work as well think of it like when using deodorant or spray paint similar concept

remember never be frightened to call for help in an emergency even if it's for advice

call 999 for an ambulance if you don't have an inhaler or

you feel worse or no better despite inhaling 10 puffs of your

reliever inhaler if the ambulance doesn't arrive in 15 minutes of making the call

repeat the inhaler process again so that's one puff of the blue salbutamol inhaler

every 30 to 60 seconds for a maximum of 10 puffs and don't forget to shake the

inhaler before every puff so one in six people treated in hospital for an asthma attack

need hospital care again within two weeks so it's super important to see your

GP or asthma nurse within 48 hours of discharge or within 24 hours because

your symptoms improved and you didn't need to go to hospital

Flexbox tutorial for beginners #7- Aligning Thumbnails in Proper Display - Duration: 5:15.

From your previous tutorial we can observe that there are some barely visible gaps,

those are produced and those shouldn't be in there and these are the gaps those are

to be filled up in this part and later on we

will be moving on the next part of this flexbox element, flexbox container, and it is about

the flex direction that we are intending to learn in our next tutorial.

But first we have to fill in the gaps those are produced

un-intentionally.

We can see that we have used a particular margin of a certain value

here and here's the solution how to fix up those things and how to if things equally

spaced in between and this is what this tutorial is about and let's proceed.

First of all we are going back to stylesheet .CSS

and here, inside this .pic-thumbnail we can see that we have placed this text align

center and we have placed a max-width of 1200 px.

No the first thing that we are going to do we are going to just comment it out.

Press control + s, get back to your project and reload and you can see that this is not

getting the whole width, the whole device-width, as we have seen previously that without

mentioning any kind of max-width, all of this entire device width, it will be taken up

by the flexbox container.

Now the next thing that we are going to do we are just moving

around all those things we are just deleting this..

Padding 10px alright, margin 10px auto, this is too ok, and on the other hand

this .pic-thumbnail img, where we have described all those image conditions, what

will be the alignment, attributes or properties of these images..

So we have set a border radius of 10px and a margin of 10px.

First of all we are commenting this thing off, we do not need

any margin of 10px there, there it goes, here it is, reload, and we can see all those margins

those are practically disappeared.

Now the next thing is we have to keep them, we

have to add some extra spaces over here, some equal spaces such that all those things those

are practically equally spaced in between.

We are getting back to this .pic-thumbnail and here we are placing justify content and

we are providing this space-between (property).

Pressing Control + s, get back to your project and reload and we can see that all

those images those are practically spaced equally in between and from both the ends.

You have added a padding of 10px here and that is what it is executing 10px flat padding

from all corners, from all ends on the top, right, bottom, and left.

Now if we just press Control + shift + m, this is the

display that it is practically displaying over here.

So that is why we need to just keep this thing in the central position while it

is being viewed in a mobile responsive condition, we need to space them in the middle

part.

So that is why we need to get back to our stylesheet.CSS and the very first thing

we need to provide is a 10px flat margin from the top.

So all we need to do we are first discarding off this comment and here

instead of this margin, we are using margin-top of 10px.

So we can see that 10px of margin from the top is being executed over

here.

And in this particular case all we can do now we can use this thing text-align center.

Let's see what it does.

And we can see get all those images doesn't know practically

aligned into the central position, what is the normal preview we can see that those images

are equally spaced and it is taking up the whole width of the container that has

been used over here.

On second thought if you want to keep the max width, I am just increasing

it to a 1300px and the rest of the things will remain unaltered and and we can

see that this whole container width, it is practically 1300px, and the contents that

means these images inside those are practically getting equally spaced and if we press Control

+ shift + m, and we may see that all those images those are practically text-aligned

center and on larger preview all of them are horizontally spaced equal.

So this is the thing that we need to fill up from our previous tutorial, of how to

create a thumbnail gallery and in the next tutorial we are going to observe how to use

flex direction into your purpose....

Homemade Edge Belt Sander - Duration: 8:46.

Welcome back.

I've finally finished my new edge belt sander table.

Because of the way I work, this kind of edge belt sander is one of the tools I rely on

most, and I use it in almost all of my projects.

I designed it with portability in mind, and so I can mount it on almost any kind of workbench.

This is the one I've been using for a couple of years.

As you can see, it's simply a portable belt sander that's been rotated and attached to a table.

The problem is it lacks power.

The belt is short and the wheels, one of the parts I use most, are not easily accessible.

Placing and removing the sanding belt is quite easy.

You only have to loosen or tighten this tensioner.

I can calibrate the sanding belt by tightnening and loosening this screw.

In the end I decided to place this third wheel to calibrate the belt because I need the other

two to be firmly locked and in proper alignment to avoid imperfections when operating it.

I've also developed this dust collection system.

I can put it in line with the belt or rotate it to different positions.

I'm going to perform some tests to show you how the sander works.

First, at a 90 degree angle .

And here with pieces rotated to a 45 degree angle.

This way I can sand the longer pieces edgewise, and the dust collection systems works the same way.

I'll try the sanding wheels on this electric guitar body.

It's a great example because it has several kinds of curves.

The big wheel will be most useful when sanding wide curves such as this one.

The straight part of the sander is for this kind of curves,

and the small wheel is for tight, hard-to-access curves.

This is the 3D file you'll find in the plans.

These are the two pieces I'll make first: the sander's base and top.

I cut all the necessary pieces with the table saw.

I glue the printable template onto the plywood to mark the holes we need in the top.

I can use those to mark the same holes on the base and make sure the wheels are aligned with the base.

After screwing it together temporarily, I drill the holes with this plunge router rig with a drill.

With this straight bit, I mark the position of the bearings.

Having marked both pieces, I drill a hole for the bearings.

Now I can screw the base to these legs.

I cut the contour of the top and after sanding the edges, I make a rebate for the belt tensioner.

Now I'll make a hole for the motor with this plunge router.

This kind of motor is attached to the front, making it ideal for this purpose.

I finish the job with a jig saw.

I glue the printable template to cut the hole that will allow me to rotate the dust collection system,

and do the same with the gap where the belt tensioner will be.

Now I'll build the sander's bigger traction wheel.

I mark all the pieces and cut them with the jig saw.

The lathe's sanding disc will come in handy to make them all perfectly round.

I'll use the wheel's rod itself to function as axis like this.

I make this little groove in the rod with an angle grinder.

Now I mark the position of the pieces on the rod and glue them together.

When the glue is dry, I'll use this screw like this to lock the wheel to the rod.

I put in the bearings and and the sander's wheels in place.

These are the aluminum ones I made in my previous video.

I put in all the necessary washers and now I can attach the top.

I cut the straight part that's in contact with the belt and screw it in.

First the top and, after making sure it's properly aligned with the base, the bottom.

This is the belt tensioner.

After verifying it's the right size, I drill holes for the two screws that will serve as

rotation axis.

I used a bit 1mm less than the diameter of the screw.

I test the tensioner and check if the wheels are aligned with the base.

This is crucial for the proper operation of the sander.

I'll test everything with a drill anchored to the traction wheel.

This got me to think that this design could be adapted to be used with a drill,

whether on the top or on the bottom.

#VlogNYCC: What I thought, and what I bought! HAUL - New York Comic Con - Duration: 7:50.

Hello everyone! In this video I'm going to give you more details about New York

Comic Con! I did a previous video with the images we shot during the convention.

if you didn't see it go to the link down below! This year was my second time at

New York Comic Con but the first time with a booth in the Artist Alley.

I prepared a bunch of things to take with me at the convention, as you may

have seen during my "preparation vlogs". I made art prints, original drawings,

business cards, a roll up and of course my updated portfolio! Comic Con is taking

place at the Javits Center, but this year due to construction work I think,

tha Artist Alley was in a different room.It was smaller but easier to find. Last year

to go to the Artist Alley, you had to walk through a long corridor which was always

overcrowded. My booth was next to Pierrick Colinet and Elsa Charretier, which is great

because we are friends and we are making a comic book project together.

And also, this year I did a variant cover for their creator-owned serie "The Infinite Loop vol.2" and

on the other side of my booth there was Danny Fingeroth

former editor and writer for Marvel Comics. It was very eclectic!

This year with the table and everything I didn't go to a panel unfortunately I

just had the chance to go to the Dirk Gently signature at the IDW booth, as you

may have seen in a previous video! It was cool, I said few words to each actors

but it was quick because we were 30 people I think and the time was really

short. On the occasion I bought the first TPB of Dirk Gently, because I

binge-watched last year the first season on Netflix, but I didn't have the chance

to read the comics. I didn't visit a lot the "shopping flour" or the main flour.

I just went to the publishers' booth, like IDW, Valiant Comics, Archie comics,

Dark Horse, etc So as a result didn't buy

anything "stupid" this year I just bought comics and art prints mostly! For my first

time as a professional in the Artist Alley, I'm pretty happy! I could see the

reaction of people discovering my work and it felt really good to witness

happy faces, compared to, you know just "like" on Facebook and Twitter!

I sold original art and commissions more than art prints, which is really good

for motivation and self-esteem! Speaking of art that I sale, I'll open

an online shop this week for all the people that couldn't go to New York Comic Con!

The good point and the more important for me in New York Comic Con, is that you

can meet publishers and artists you love! Of course you must have your portfolio

ready or a business card always in your pocket.You have to be prepared

for a "No. Sometimes there is no editor or sometimes they just can't or don't want

see any portfolio.This year I went to see all the artists I love to their

booth like for example the team on "The Wicked and the Divine": Matt Wilson, Kieron Gillen,

Jamie McKelvie, Erica Henderson who's working on "Squirrel Girl",

Olivier Coipel, etc and we bought some art prints and original drawings from several of them!

First this original drawing of "Swamp Thing" by Eryk Donovan, he is currently

doing the art on "Eugenic" at Boom!Studios, with James Tynion IV at

the writing. Of course I will put every links down below! Another original this

time made by Afua Richardson. And it's me!!She was next to us in the Artist

Alley and I really love work and herself! On the second day she went to

the Artist Alley dressed as Storm, from the X-men, so I thought she was so

beautiful so I drew her. And after that she gave me this drawing and she also

gave me this art print and also her little art book! So thank you again Afua, you are amazing!!

Dealing with art prints, this year I went

again to see Genevieve FT because she's my friend and I really love her work!

Last year I got a "curvy mermaid" and this year I choose this little art print

because the colors are really amazing and I love her pinup! If you are like me and

you like cute drawings and pinup follow Genevieve FT and Nic Ter Host because

they are the cutest girls I have ever met! At the convention Guillaume and I, we discovered the

work of Alison Sampson! So we bought this amazing limited art print

I think it's called silk print! It's about girl gang

the 90's. So it's perfect for me because I really love the 90's and the music from

the 90's you can see Garbage and L7 Alanis Morisette, or Hole.. Next we finally met

Amy Reeder! I really love her work since "Moon Girl"! We took the first trade

of "Rocket Girl" her comic at Image Comics, and also this amazing art print of Spider-Man!

We also took some prints to Elsa Charretier. The Wonder Woman and the one from

Harley Quinn, and also the first issue of "The Infinite Loop vol.2" with this amazing

limited cover by Tim Sale, in black and white. Also issues from "Star Wars

Adventures" in which Pierrick Colinet and Elsa Charretier did a short story!

Speaking of Tim Sale, he was at the convention and Guillaume couldn't resist

to buy the "Spider-Man Blue". It's a story Tim Sale did in the 2000's.

Speaking of Spider-Man and Guillaume, he also bought this crossover from

1995 called "Spider-Man and Batman"! That's it for short review of what I thought

How to Raise Kids Who Are Smart About Money - Duration: 4:45.

Everyone knows that the earlier you learn a language, the easier it is to master.

Learning a foreign language at four takes a lot less effort than learning one at forty.

The same holds true with managing your money.

I can tell you this from personal experience.

I grew up in a home where the value of money was a frequent topic of conversation.

Today, I teach people how to get out of debt, and build wealth with my dad,

Dave Ramsey.

Growing up in my parents home, I learned a few things about

kids and money.

Here are three:

One: Put your kids to work.

It's very important that your kids understand that money comes from work

– not from mom and dad's wallet.

As soon as your children can grasp the concept of cause-and-effect -- and that happens at

a very young age -- you can start teaching them about the work/money connection.

Have them clean the playroom, take out the trash, put away their laundry

– there are a million things they can do.

Just make sure it's age appropriate.

Don't have your five-year-old mow the lawn.

And pay them for some of the work they do.

Let your kids know that in the real world you get paid only when you work.

And it's with the money made from work that you can buy the things you want.

When children work for the things they want to buy, the purchase feels like an accomplishment,

not an entitlement.

You're sending the opposite message when you just hand your kids a $20 bill when they

ask for it, or give them an allowance for essentially breathing.

Of course, not everything your child decides to buy will be a smart purchase.

And that brings us to lesson number two:

Let your kids make mistakes with their money.

Many adults make expensive mistakes because as kids they were never allowed to make small,

inexpensive ones.

Tears now will save a lot of tears later.

When I was young, my parents took our family to Opryland Theme Park in Nashville.

Dad and Mom had one simple rule: If you want to play carnival games, you have to spend

your own money.

Of course, I ran to the first game near the entrance, slapped some cash on the table,

and took my turn. I lost.

So I put down more money.

And I lost again, and again.

Then came that terrible moment when I reached into my pocket and found nothing but lint.

We had a whole day at Opryland ahead of us and I had blown through my cash!

I ran back to Mom and Dad and begged them for more money and promised I'd pay them back.

What Dad said has stuck with me ever since.

"Rachel, when the money's gone, it's gone."

Your children are going to make some dumb choices.

They'll waste money on stuff that a week later they wish they had never bought.

And as their parent, there are times you need to let them make that mistake

and suffer the consequences.

That's how they learn.

Lesson Number Three:

Teach your kids to make saving a habit.

Saving money is a discipline.

How many adults do you know who save on a regular, consistent basis?

But here's a fundamental, financial truth: if you don't save money, you won't have money.

Teach your children that saving is one of the first things you do when you get paid

– not what you do with money you have left over.

Fast forward twenty years.

If they haven't learned to save, they're likely to go into

debt for the things they want or need.

Once they start down that road, it's very unlikely that they'll build wealth because

their paycheck will be going to debt payments instead of investing for the future.

I encourage parents to teach their children to save some of the money they earn.

The habit of saving money is what's important here, not the exact dollar amount.

The amount they save will depend on what they're saving to buy.

And better for them to learn how to save now – when Mom and Dad are supporting them.

Or Mom and Dad – that's you – will be supporting

them a lot longer than planned.

So start today: help your kids to become fluent in the language of money and how to handle it.

THE 3 BIGGEST FITNESS MISTAKES WOMEN MAKE | TRACY CAMPOLI | WORKOUT MISTAKES TO AVOID! - Duration: 6:58.

Hi it's Tracy and welcome back to my channel and today I want to help you to bust thru

the 3 biggest mistakes that women make when it comes to their fitness.

So if you're new to my channel, Hello I'm Tracy and I put out brand new fitness, wellness

That's gonna tell you every single time I have a brand new video go LIVE.

So, ready for the 3 biggest mistakes, and PLEASE don't make these mistakes, cause I

got your back girlfriend.

The FIRST mistake that women make is only doing steady state cardio.

So what do I mean by that?

I mean you know if let's say you love running, which is great, and you only go for long runs

and you do that 3 or 4 times a week and that's your workout, right?

Or you love the treadmill or you love the elliptical, something like that.

Where you are constantly doing that steady state cardio, now let me make it really clear,

steady state cardio is great, it's great for your endurance, it's great for you heart health,

all of that.....however studies have show that when you're doing more interval workouts

that are gonna challenge you, your intensity goes up and it goes down a little bit and

then up and down, that is actually the best formula for fat loss.

So, if you're working out and you want to see results, and you want to get tighter and

toned, you definitely want to make sure that you're doing these interval workouts.

So, HIIT workouts it's a great example.

They will challenge you, you'll get that sweat up and you don's have to do a super long workout

to really break out into a sweat.

Really important!

Now I have tons of HIIT workouts here on YouTube and also in Total Body Transformation and

the reason why I do that is let's face it, we're all busy, so I want to make sure that

you're constantly challenging yourself so that you don't plateau.

Don't make that BIG mistake of ONLY doing steady state cardio.

Like I said, if you like going for a run a few times a week, that's great, but make sure

that you're mixing it up buttercup.

Second big mistake that I see women do is Only doing cardio!

Please don't do this to yourself ok?

Here's why....we want to use weight and have resistance to help you get stronger, to help

you burn fat and to have more muscle mass.

Now if you know me, you know I'm all about creating that fit and feminine body.

What I mean by that is not the kind of body where it's like you see someone from across

the street and you're like "man, that girl really works out", the look that I help y

clients achieve is like "wow, is she just genetically blessed".

So, here's what I di, I often will use light weights, 1, 2 or 3 lb hand weights.

I know, that's really light, but guess what?

You've got an amazing weight at your disposal all the time, and that is "Your Body".

Body weight exercise.

Doing planks, doing push ups, doing dips, doing squats, you are actually lifting your

body weight, which is going to give you that strength that you need, ok?

So please do not skip the resistance training and I'm also happy to tell you, you don't

have to go to the gym and pump iron and lift heavy weights, if you like doing that, great,

that's your thing, but if you don't, you don't have to do that.

If you're really looking to get that more fit and feminine look, I say lighter weights

and body weight will help you to achieve that cause I see it all the time, ok?!

And then the third big mistake that I see women making with their fitness is thinking

more equals better.

NOT TRUE.

More does not equal better when it comes to your workouts.

So this is what I mean....you know "Oh I'm starting to work out and I'm gonna work out

for 2 hours every day, and that's gonna help me achieve the body that I want".

Well, studies show, actually that that can do harm on your hormones which then when your

hormones are out of balance can cause weight gain and specifically around your middle area,

so you know, I'll tell you the truth, when I was in my 20's I used to think if I couldn't

workout for 90 minutes every single day, then it wasn't a workout and that's just not the

truth.

I'm so happy that in my 40's now I do a fraction of what I used to do in my 20's and I teach

that to my clients and I see it all the time.

So, more does not equal better.

So, what's the right formula?

Well, every bidy is different, however what I have found thru my years of being a trainer

and my studies, is the sweet spot for women is somewhere between that 30-45 minute mark.

Now hang on, before you start throwing hate at me, "but I love this dance class that I

take, I love this yoga class and it's an hour and a half".

I'm not telling you to never do that, so like Namaste....you do your thing, but on a day

to day basis, mix it up.

So one thing that i'll tell my clients is every body is different.

So, you gotta play with it a little bit and see what the sweet spot is for you, so that

you're looking great, so that you're feeling great, so that you have great energy and most

importantly, so that you're seeing the results that you want.

Homemade Edge Belt Sander - Duration: 8:46.

Welcome back.

I've finally finished my new edge belt sander table.

Because of the way I work, this kind of edge belt sander is one of the tools I rely on

most, and I use it in almost all of my projects.

I designed it with portability in mind, and so I can mount it on almost any kind of workbench.

This is the one I've been using for a couple of years.

As you can see, it's simply a portable belt sander that's been rotated and attached to a table.

The problem is it lacks power.

The belt is short and the wheels, one of the parts I use most, are not easily accessible.

Placing and removing the sanding belt is quite easy.

You only have to loosen or tighten this tensioner.

I can calibrate the sanding belt by tightnening and loosening this screw.

In the end I decided to place this third wheel to calibrate the belt because I need the other

two to be firmly locked and in proper alignment to avoid imperfections when operating it.

I've also developed this dust collection system.

I can put it in line with the belt or rotate it to different positions.

I'm going to perform some tests to show you how the sander works.

First, at a 90 degree angle .

And here with pieces rotated to a 45 degree angle.

This way I can sand the longer pieces edgewise, and the dust collection systems works the same way.

I'll try the sanding wheels on this electric guitar body.

It's a great example because it has several kinds of curves.

The big wheel will be most useful when sanding wide curves such as this one.

The straight part of the sander is for this kind of curves,

and the small wheel is for tight, hard-to-access curves.

This is the 3D file you'll find in the plans.

These are the two pieces I'll make first: the sander's base and top.

I cut all the necessary pieces with the table saw.

I glue the printable template onto the plywood to mark the holes we need in the top.

I can use those to mark the same holes on the base and make sure the wheels are aligned with the base.

After screwing it together temporarily, I drill the holes with this plunge router rig with a drill.

With this straight bit, I mark the position of the bearings.

Having marked both pieces, I drill a hole for the bearings.

Now I can screw the base to these legs.

I cut the contour of the top and after sanding the edges, I make a rebate for the belt tensioner.

Now I'll make a hole for the motor with this plunge router.

This kind of motor is attached to the front, making it ideal for this purpose.

I finish the job with a jig saw.

I glue the printable template to cut the hole that will allow me to rotate the dust collection system,

and do the same with the gap where the belt tensioner will be.

Now I'll build the sander's bigger traction wheel.

I mark all the pieces and cut them with the jig saw.

The lathe's sanding disc will come in handy to make them all perfectly round.

I'll use the wheel's rod itself to function as axis like this.

I make this little groove in the rod with an angle grinder.

Now I mark the position of the pieces on the rod and glue them together.

When the glue is dry, I'll use this screw like this to lock the wheel to the rod.

I put in the bearings and and the sander's wheels in place.

These are the aluminum ones I made in my previous video.

I put in all the necessary washers and now I can attach the top.

I cut the straight part that's in contact with the belt and screw it in.

First the top and, after making sure it's properly aligned with the base, the bottom.

This is the belt tensioner.

After verifying it's the right size, I drill holes for the two screws that will serve as

rotation axis.

I used a bit 1mm less than the diameter of the screw.

I test the tensioner and check if the wheels are aligned with the base.

This is crucial for the proper operation of the sander.

I'll test everything with a drill anchored to the traction wheel.

This got me to think that this design could be adapted to be used with a drill,

whether on the top or on the bottom.
