A New Idea About Tabby's Star! - Duration: 6:01.

SciShow Space is supported by Brilliant.org.

It seems like something cool is always happening with Tabby's Star.

Back in May, we got all excited because it was dimming again — and even though we haven't

found anything out from that yet, the star is back in the news again!

According to a paper published last week in the Astrophysical Journal, astronomers might

have finally discovered part of why the star acts so strangely.

And I know what you're hoping, but it's still probably not an alien megastructure.

Those chances are dimming even more than the star is.

Tabby's Star — lesser known as KIC 8462852 — is about 1300 light-years away.

It's nicknamed after Tabetha Boyajian, who was the lead author on the first paper about it.

Since its discovery, it's been one big mystery.

We've not only seen it continually dim over long periods of time, but we also keep seeing

short, randomly-timed dips in brightness.

It's not like anything we've found in stars similar to what Tabby's supposed to be.

To explain the data, people have suggested everything from broken up comets to a massive

structure built by extraterrestrials.

Now, in this new paper, astronomers are shedding a little more light on the situation, and

they did it by collecting light.

Specifically, more types of light.

Using NASA's Spitzer and Swift telescopes and the AstroLAB IRIS public observatory in

Belgium, astronomers intermittently monitored three types of light coming from Tabby's

Star between September 2015 and December 2016.

Those are infrared, visible, and ultraviolet light.

They found that the infrared light dimmed less than both the visible and ultraviolet

light — or in other words, that the dimming depended on the wavelength!

And that gave them some clues about what could be happening.

They concluded that this difference could be from an unevenly distributed dust cloud

orbiting Tabby's Star about once every 700 days.

Each particle in the cloud wouldn't be more than a few micrometers across, because anything

larger, like a megastructure, would block all wavelengths equally.

This idea is actually similar to how sunsets get their red hues: Shorter wavelengths of

light, like blue and ultraviolet, collide with tiny particles in the atmosphere and

get scattered more than longer wavelengths, like red and infrared.

So at sunset, when the Sun is lower in the sky and sunlight has to travel through more

of the atmosphere, it's the redder light that makes it into your eyeballs.

On the other hand, when the particles in the atmosphere are too big, like with small raindrops

in clouds, all the wavelengths get blocked equally, and you get grey skies.

Now, this proposed dust cloud could explain the long-term dimming, but not everything.

Like, it doesn't address the short, extreme dips in brightness we've seen, which previous

studies have suggested might be caused by comets.

It also can't explain two brightening events — one in 2006 and one in 2014 — that another

team of astronomers may have found.

The paper hasn't been peer-reviewed yet, so we can't say anything for sure, but it

could throw a wrench into the works because astronomers have assumed Tabby's Star was only dimming.

So we might be getting close to an answer, but Tabby's Star remains a mystery for at

least a little while longer!

But speaking of astronomical mysteries, astronomers might have discovered what triggers a type Ia supernova.

According to research published last week in the journal Nature, they could be caused

by a helium nuclear explosion — which is as intense as it sounds.

Some supernovas happen when super-massive stars collapse, but a type Ia supernova happens

when a white dwarf, the remnant of an old star, gets too massive and explodes.

Usually, this happens because it's been siphoning off matter from a companion star

in a binary system.

Type Ia supernovas are a really important tool in astronomy.

No matter where in the universe they are, the light they emit evolves following the same pattern.

That means it's relatively easy to calculate how far away they and their galaxies are.

And studying them was actually how we found out the universe's expansion was accelerating!

But we did all that without actually knowing what causes white dwarfs to go boom.

Now, we might have solved that mystery.

Using the Subaru telescope in Hawai'i, an international team of astronomers scanned

a large piece of the sky, looking for baby supernovas only a few days old.

In each galaxy, type Ia supernovas only happen about once per century, so they used a wide-field

camera mounted on the telescope to try and capture as many as possible.

And they found a bunch of them!

One candidate about 1.5 billion light-years away, officially called SN 2016jhr, appeared

to be only about half a day old!

That's super young — younger than any previously studied supernovas like it.

It's so young that the light it emitted didn't even match what astronomers usually find.

After tracking this object's light curve for two months, the team used a supercomputer

to try to model their observations.

According to the simulations, the star collected enough mass from its companion star that a

thin shell of helium on its surface experienced extreme temperature and pressure.

It was enough to fuse the helium atoms and create an explosion!

The resulting shockwave then traveled down into the white dwarf, causing the carbon inside

the star to ignite.

And that created the energy needed to rip the star apart in an explosion 5 billion times

brighter than our Sun.

Understanding how these explosions are triggered and what they look like just hours after starting

will be important, because it will help astronomers improve those distance measurements and how

we understand our universe's history.

Speaking of stars, most of us know that our sun is kind of your average joe, unlike tiny

white dwarfs or huge, red giants.

Which is pretty common knowledge now, but what about way back in Greece around 200 BCE?

Our partner, Brilliant.org, has a cool lesson about how Greek astronomer Aristarchus tried

to estimate the size of the sun, and I'm going to look through it.

Brilliant's really cool because it gives you context.

Like, instead of just giving you this math problem it's putting you in the headspace

of an early astronomer.

Each little quiz is building on the previous one so you are applying what you learned in

the last section to this new section.

It's fun because it's kind of like a game and I want to win, but more than that I really

just want to know the answer and learn more about it.

So when you get a question wrong, you're still learning a cool thing.

Thank for pretending to be Aristarchus with me and checking out Brilliant.org . If you

5 Terrifying Jumpscares In Video Games - Horror Month 2017 - Day 13 - Duration: 3:17.

Geeky Gaming

Hey Geeks, it's Andrea.

We are on day 13 of Horror Month 2017 and it is Friday the 13th.

So it is a perfect day to talk about some jumpscares.

I really wanted to talk video games today, so we are going to take a look at some jumpscares

in video games.

Alright Geeks, let's go.

5.

Dino Crisis - T-Rex I was actually surprised that Dino Crisis

had any jumpscares.

I didn't grow up playing this game, but I've been watching a lot of clips lately

and I was surprised to that it had any jumpscares at all.

It really is a game that doesn't rely on jumpscares to spook you, so this one really

catches you off guard.

4.

Resident Evil 4 - burning man I've said it before and I will say it a

million times more, Resident Evil 4 is one of my favorite games of all time.

It is by far my favorite Resident Evil game.

There are a few pretty good jumpscares throughout the game.

This is one of my favorites simply because of how casual it feels.

You're just walking along, minding your own business and a flaming guy busts out at

you.

3.

Five Nights at Freddy's 5 Nights at Freddy's is a jumpscare game.

So really the entire game is basically just one big jumpscare simulator.

I am not a person who can actually play games like these, but I really do enjoy watching

them.

The best way to enjoy these is watching someone who hasn't experienced the game before.

I know a lot of videos are going to have people pretending to be scared and overacting, but

there is something enjoyable about watching someone play through these types of games

for the first time so they're scared when you're scared and it's all good.

That being said, I am scared of everything and even someone walking in the room when

I don't expect it legitimately makes me scream in real life…

I have a really bad reputation for that around the house.

People even say "I'm coming in the room, don't scream" and that startles me.

So maybe I'm not the best judge of jumpscares.

2.

PT - Lisa attack I'm actually really surprised we didn't

have this on last year's list of jumpscares.

PT was just so perfectly done.

You still have people playing this trailer today.

It's crazy good.

There are quite a few moments where Lisa scares the hell out of you, this is probably the

most scary though because you get a really good look at that face.

1.

Bioshock - dentist Bioshock is a great game, so you really should

check it out if you haven't.

The Dentist jumpscare is a such a great one because there is no real setup for it.

You just turn around and he is right in your freaking face.

No warning, no expectations.

Alright Geeks, that's going to do it for this video.

Thank you so much for hanging out with me today.

Check the description if you want to watch the full version of any of these jumpscares.

Don't forget, the limited time Horror Month T-Shirt is only available a couple more weeks,

so be sure to pick it up before it is gone forever.

You can also get the Horror Month Song on bandcamp.

Do me a favor and subscribe, like, and comment on your way out.

Alright Geeks, I will see you tomorrow.

Oral Pathology in Dallas TX: John | Park Cities Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates - Duration: 1:13.

About a month ago, I had a bone exposure on my gum.

I went to my dentist; met him at his office on Sunday afternoon.

He said he would refer me to an oral surgeon.

When I arrived at Dr. Ray's office, he went through the process of the healing of the

bone in my mouth, the tissue that covers the bone.

I didn't understand about bone breaking off when it's exposed to air.

He was very thorough in the discussion of that, and he said that that is a thing that

happens to several people, and it's nothing to be alarmed about, and that it should heal

itself in a period of time.

I've been in a lot of medical offices in my 84 years of life, and the staff here at Dr.

Ray's office is the best I've ever run into.

They have thoroughly respected my time, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for

an oral surgeon.

It's great.

Stunning Space, Endless Opportunity: The E. Craig Wall Jr. Academic Center - Duration: 4:01.

(music playing)

The new spaces, the teaching spaces, the research spaces, the lab spaces,

allow us to be way more creative, innovative, flexible.

Some things we've done for a long time but have been space restricted, we get to do now and it's

really, really exciting and fun to see that happen.

Something else that's fascinating and interesting about the Wall Center is the

amount of light. And you might think that wouldn't impact teaching and learning

but what it really impacts is how much we want to spend time in the building.

Us as well as the students. How easy it is to spend hours in lab and hours in the

classroom and it's a space that you want to be in and that automatically changes

the way things are working in a room with students because they just want to be there.

No one by him or herself can solve a particular problem.

We go through life as part of teams. So one of the first things we need to do with our

students is learn how to be part of a team. So one of the things that we do

here in the Wall Center is we bring people together. Whether if it's

purposefully in a particular class, or by happenstance when people are studying,

or working in groups. And they hear what other people are doing. The design of the

space allows us to interact more freely.

I love how transdisciplinary the space is.

I feel like that's the buzzword for liberal arts,

but Wall really encompasses what that means.

As an Environmental major, I love how connected to nature I feel whenever I'm in the building.

From all the windows, to the plant wall,

to my ability to be up stairs on a balcony and just sort of look over campus.

The space here is so exciting and inviting and open and colorful.

I'm in a program called the Collaboratory.

It's brand new this year. There's me and 14 other first years.

And we all share the same four professors.

Obviously we spend a lot of time together.

We have the same four classes together. About half of the time this is

where our classes meet. I absolutely love studying here partly because of the

comfort and how quiet it can be. And also partly because of just the aesthetic and

it feels modern. Actually our first meeting was right here in this space

which was really awesome it was a great way to sort of start the experience with

this beautiful space.

The first day I came to Davidson as a freshman, the biggest and nicest guy on

the hall was a guy from Conway, South Carolina named Craig Wall.

Who became my close friend over four years at Davidson.

We were involved in ROTC together. And one of the least favorite experiences of my life,

so a real growth experience, was going to Fort Bragg for six weeks in summer.

And among the people who were there I think there was nobody that was more miserable than

me and Craig Wall.

He was a leader there. He was a leader on this campus.

And of course it just translated into leadership in life.

My college friend who

I thought of is just kind of the epitome of everything that represented Davidson

as a college student, all of a sudden here was a person who did that for the

state of South Carolina and for the whole south and for the whole country. He was

the chair of the board for about a decade when I was President.

In my mind's eye there's no other person who does any better at personifying what Davidson is all about.

The term Scholar Athlete that we bandy about sometimes with good effect,

was really the epitome of who Craig was. He was a President of ODK. He was captain

football team and on and on and on like that. But he did with such modesty and

humility and grand sense of humor about everything. And here comes this

opportunity at Davidson to have a transformational facility and also the

privilege of having the Duke Endowment who cared so much about Craig through

his leadership there and the Wall family to to make this building reality.

So with the gifts of those two and many other folks who care about the place

here we are.

Halloween- Lift-the-flap Lawn Fawn Gift Card Holder with Tim Holtz Crazy Birds Stamp and Dies - Duration: 10:37.

hi everyone its Keren here with a new video tutorial as I created a lift the

flap gift card holder with a Halloween theme for a new YouTube hop enjoy!!!

Hop along through all the YouTube channels and see all the projects that everybody

created all the links to the videos are listed below in the description area in

case you get lost you can basically start anywhere and just hop along the

other videos a list of all the products I used today are listed below in the

description area and I'm also having a giveaway so stay tuned to the end of the

video so you can see what I'm giving away and how to enter it I might not be

the only one who's having a giveaway so make sure you hop along to see who does

I really wanted to focus today on the color philosophy inks from Prima

marketing I could have inked everything with the distress inks or the distress

oxides because they're Tim Holtz but I really wanted to focus on a different

type of inks, these are like distress inks in terms of the fact that they

react with water they're a little bit lighter and they come in different

colors that are not available with the other ones. I took two of the shades of

orange which is apricot and carrot and then I took the two shades of purple

which are amethyst and lilac because I wanted it to do purple and orange for

Halloween I took two of the crazy bird stamps from Tim Holtz so I could stamp

them in this background this is a really easy way to basically stamp and color

something without having to color in this images I just ink the whole

background and then it just colors in when I stamp so I took some archival ink

and I made sure that my stamp platform was on the right side so it can take the

rubber stamps and then I stamped the two birds onto my background. I had to do

this three times to make sure I get a really dark impression because I wanted

it to really stand out I heat set everything

and then I took the matching dyes and use my Sizzix machine to cut them out

I used microspore tape which is great to hold images together it doesn't damage

the background so it was perfect to do this so I could really get the images

around the birds. the next thing I did is I stamped some images from the crazy

things stamp set that basically matches the crazy birds because you can

basically dress them up with different things for different holidays and I

picked some of the Halloween themed ones and some dress-up hat and other elements

so I could dress up both Birds that I had stamped I did the same thing I

stamped it onto a background but this time I stamped it onto a plain white

background this is a Bristol smooth Strathmore paper and it's smooth enough

that it can take watercolor because I want to show you what else you could do

with a philosophy inks from Prima I took the matching die set for the crazy thing

stamps and basically cut up all the images I could have color them in first

and then cut them it doesn't really matter which order you do this but I

just ended up cutting them first and then coloring them in

once they were all out I started coloring them with the philosophy means

you can use these inks as watercolors and I'm using one of my Prima marketing

paintbrushes that already has water inside of it however you could

just use a regular paintbrush and just add a little bit of water to your mat or

have a jar beside you and you can shade with these that's why I have two

different color greens and I'm just shading the Hat in two different

colors. here I am shading the broom in brown and then I took other colors and

just colored in the other crazy things

to create a lift the flap gift card or as I want to call it for Halloween

peekaboo card I used lawn fawn dies

First I took some desert storm 100 pound cardstock and used one of the rectangular

stitch dies from lawn fawn and the gift card holder cutter to cut out the

elements for the back of the gift card where the actual card goes and you can

see this is one of them it creates two little slits where you can put your gift

card then I took another one and this time did the same thing with the same

frame with the stitched frame but I used the other gift card cutter so it will

create a diagonal line to put another two slits in the background and use it

for a different gift card that way you can see both types that this set comes

with the set is called gift card slots to create the lift the flap element for

the card or as we can call it today for Halloween peekaboo I use the lawn fawn

gift card holder and I cut two of them on the same same desert storm paper

those were going to be added on top of the other card and when you lift the

flap you have that peekaboo effect as you can see in here it has a nice scor

area where you can bend the flap and then you can glue it on top of the other

one so here I am gluing it and I realize after that I had to glue it standing up

in the vertical position and not horizontally because the little birds

didn't really fit properly on top so there it is the element of lifting up

and then I'm doing the same thing with the second one

I thought this was perfect for a Halloween trick-or-treat or just to give

it as a gift to somebody because it I could put a message

underneath the gift card as well which I'm going to do soon so first I'm going

to put the two birdies and I'm going to dress them up and as you can see I had

to put them sideways so they would fit properly on the front of the flap and

then I'm dressing up the other one and I glued everything to the background

the crazy birds and the crazy things come with some crazy words as well and

these are also from Tim Holtz and I took a couple of the Halloween sayings one of

them said trick-or-treat and the other one says happy Halloween and I just

stamped the trick-or-treat on one of the lifts of flap elements and then you can

see you can put a gift card in there this is a Starbucks one it's an old one

so it's not a real one but just to show you how it works and then I stamped a

happy Halloween on the other card so basically once they take out the gift

card from the lift a flap card they will see the acute message underneath

I hope you like these cards and you learn some techniques with the

philosophy inks I really love these cute crazy birds I never thought I liked them

before until I use them now and they're really cute and all the crazy things

that come with it and the word so that's really fun for Halloween thank you so

much for watching if you like my video please give it a thumbs up and share it

with your friends to enter my giveaway you have to be a subscriber on my

channel and then visit my website to enter you can win one set of the

philosophy inks I have two sets to give away so I will have two winners and the

giveaway is open internationally have a wonderful day bye

It's great.

into a relationship and I don't hear from him anymore

he vanished and I'm like yeah I I know what you mean they're like love addicts

it's like a drug for them Jesus I think that fly went right in I've always been

a believer that a relationship is supposed to enhance your life not

consume your life and if you have to ignore family and be a bad brother son

sibling friend in order to be a good boyfriend or husband well then you're

doing it wrong there's gotta be some kind of balance just because you found

another person doesn't mean you give up your individuality that's not love

that's an obsession and it's fucking weird when you find the one you love

you're supposed to just say fuck everybody else I don't think so you

still gotta have some time left over in the day for you you're gonna be able to

sustain that come on tell me what you guys think have you ever had somebody

there a family or friend that once they get into a relationship they just vanish

I'll talk to you guys later bye bye big promoter if you look up single you see

Sermon Clip: "You don't come into the question of hell as a blank slate of information." - Duration: 1:11.

We have to be self aware of our alternate beliefs.

What I mean by that is,

you don't just come into this question as a blank slate of information -

saying, "I don't like hell,"

"just because hell is not a good idea,"

"and I'm right about everything."

The reason why you don't like the idea of hell,

is because you've already been convinced of other ideas and values

from your - let's be self aware.

You live in Canada.

You belong to a democratic country.

You're probably educated.

You're a Westerner.

You've sat around the dinner table.

You've had education.

You've been watching CNN and Fox News and media.

You drive by billboards.

There's a worldview that's been constructed for you.

Every time you watch Grey's Anatomy,

every time you listen to Howard Stern,

there is a worldview being constructed for you

that has a whole bunch of assumptions about

the universe, God,

yourself, humankind, reality,

and all of them make you

either warm to the idea of hell,

or actually say,

"you know what? I don't like the idea of hell at all."

You gotta be self aware.

You at least have to be self aware to understand

what are your alternative beliefs that you bring to this question.

UNPRECEDENTED What This Dem Just Hit Trump With In Articles of Impeachment Will FIRE HIM UP - Duration: 19:12.

UNPRECEDENTED What This Dem Just Hit Trump With In Articles of Impeachment Will FIRE

HIM UP

Unprecedented…in its stupidity!

Al Green is at it again.

He's tried it before, it got nowhere.

So now he's trying it again.

On Wednesday, he introduced articles of impeachment against Trump.

Watch this (if you can stomach it):

(Courtesy of C-SPAN via Youtube.com)

Interestingly, the GOP presiding officer moved to begin the process to consider the resolution

less than an hour later.

But Green wasn't there!

He botched it, so his impeachment efforts against Trump won't get an imminent vote.

It's all a bunch of empty drama, ya'll.

In fact, his articles said this, that Trump "is fueling an alt-right hate machine"

that's "causing immediate injury to American society."

Ridiculous!

We all know it's the MEDIA that is twisting Trump's words to make it appear that Trump

is racist, etc.

When nothing could be farther from the facts and actual words he has spoken.

Green also said this in his articles: Trump has "undermined the integrity of his office"

and "brought disrepute on the presidency."

Not even his fellow Dems agree that there is anything to impeach Trump over.

For example, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) recently said "I don't want to vote on impeachment.

I think it's too early.

We don't have the evidence; we don't have the case."

If you are tired of this crap, please Share this, to show how ridiculous this all is.

Also, comment "cut the crap, Dems!"

She Helped Rig the Election for Hillary, Now Loretta Lynch Finally Gets DEVASTATING News

Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch met with former President Bill Clinton on a Phoenix

tarmac weeks before the presidential election last year.

You're well aware of the story by now.

More than likely what happened is Lynch agreed to not prosecute Hillary over her email server

mishandlings in exchange for staying on as AG through Clinton's first term.

Now, that story will more than likely never be proven, but who are we kidding?

Just a week after the Loretta/Bill meeting, Hillary was cleared of any wrongdoing.

So, there you go.

Now, Lynch is set to be grilled on Capitol Hill regarding her involvement in influencing

the 2016 race, per Washington Times:

The Senate Judiciary Committee has opened a probe into former Attorney General Loretta

E. Lynch's efforts to shape the FBI's investigation into 2016 Democratic presidential

nominee Hillary Clinton, the committee's chairman announced Friday.

In a letter to Ms. Lynch, the committee asks her to detail the depths of her involvement

in the FBI's investigation, including whether she ever assured Clinton confidantes that

the probe wouldn't "push too deeply into the matter."

Fired FBI Director James B. Comey has said publicly that Ms. Lynch tried to shape the

way he talked about the investigation into Mrs. Clinton's emails, and he also hinted

at other behavior "which I cannot talk about yet" that made him worried about Ms. Lynch's

ability to make impartial decisions.

What do you make of this?

Do you think we'll learn anything about Lynch's influence, or will she skate?

Make it Real: RED HOT REBAR CROSSBOW (HALF-LIFE) - Duration: 21:58.

Hey guys on this episode of Make It Real we're building the resistance crossbow

from half-life that's right it shoots red-hot rebar this video is sponsored by

next games which allowed us to build this awesome weapon for hunting the

undead now obviously we're gonna need quite a bit of steel for this project so

we're gonna go to the supermarket! "The supermarket?" Yeah, The metal supermarket.

Alright so how are we gonna build the half-life 2 resistance crossbow well as

you can see I've got some nice blueprints here a screenshot from the

video game so let's figure it out the beauty with this project is it's

literally made of scrap materials in the game which means we can actually make it

look just like this quite easily so first of all we're gonna need some box

tube we've got right here now the trickiest part about building a crossbow

is probably the release mechanism so we're gonna cheat elope so we just got a

cheap crossbow here how they can see it's actually a pretty slick little

crossbow we could actually modify this to become

the resistance crossbow but I'd rather make it look just like the one in the

game we could also make use of the existing limbs but I think it'd be

cooler to try and use this so this is actually a truck leaf spring and might

be a bit powerful yeah it bends a little bit I think we're probably gonna have to

remove a few of these extra pieces of steel oh yeah I think that'll do the

trick now because the weapon we're making is gonna be really accurate we're

gonna need a scope so I picked up this airsoft scope which is actually a 4x

scope complete with illuminated red and green crosshair like I'm kind of joking

like it's not gonna be accurate but we've got the scope because as you know

adding a scope adds 10 plus accuracy points alright so as you can see in the

design the limbs actually this is actually technically a compound crossbow

where is the cross but we have is just a regular one so we're actually use these

pulleys and add them to the ends of our crossbow limb next step will be to

actually cut a groove out of these two is in order to hit the pulleys inside

all right time to take apart a crossbow and see how we can make use of the

components we have all right so we're going to start by trimming off all the

unnecessary parts of the original crossbow so we're gonna cut off the tail

stock molten plastic grouse Dremel probably would have been a better idea

but too late okay you gotta remove the fun cool part yeah so we might have to

go a bit off the plan first of all the actual trigger mechanism is behind the

grip

and I wish these well a bit prettier

now I was thinking imagine this is a very expensive and time-consuming

project in fact we wouldn't even be able to do it if not for a sponsor so I'd

like to take a minute and tell you a bit about this game I've been playing it's

called The Walking Dead no man's land I've put a link in the description below

including a special offer that's only available right now

it's a turn-by-turn strategy game so if you're the kind of person who likes

playing chess or checkers you'll probably like it the best part is it's

an officially licensed walking dead game which means you get to play the

characters from the show in actual walking dead locations including

Alexandria during my trip down in Michigan for the artprize with Ian I

played this game for hours and made it pretty far it's kind of addictive during

your turn you move your characters around every time you move the zombies

move too which means you'll have to use a bit of strategy and problem-solving to

get out of tight places and beyond adventuring you also get to set up your

camp build up your fortress and defend it and if your fan of the TV show The

Walking Dead you're gonna recognize the in-game characters like Rick's and shown

Ezekiel Daryl and even negan who's a special character you can get for free

right now if you use my download link below when the newest updates the game

includes a new game mode called the distance which is a biweekly event or

you play a survival mode there's also a new crafting mode lets you collect

components and craft badges for your survivors to increase their attributes

the game is available on Android iOS and pretty much every other device so if you

like zombies saving humanity and being a certified apocalypse survivor download

the game for free today the offer is only available right now so

go ahead and click the first link in the description below alright let's finish

this crossbow I think Daryl will need it now honestly

it's not actually as heavy as I thought it would be I mean it's pretty heavy

it's gotta add some stuff to it but I can flex with my fingers I'm just scared

to pull it all the way oh my god

all right so we've been able to actually draw and fire the crossbow which is

pretty awesome so we had a bit of difficulty when we made it it was just

too damn powerful and what we did try and fix that was first we machined slots

into the limb of the crossbow so it'd be a bit easier to actually drop back that

still wasn't enough so we made the slots even bigger and we actually used our

mock CNC milling machine to do a nice little curve right here unfortunately it

was still actually really hard to draw back now we didn't want to weaken it

anymore so we decided to turn to a compound crossbow we actually went out

we bought better higher rage pulleys that are a bit smaller we're going to

replace them with so let's do that right now

which means we have to actually now add the most iconic part which is the actual

heating of the rebar part so we've got a few copper bus bars which were actually

a machine in our time our CNC machine had a slight groove for the piece of

rebar to sit in them males here what is it just you it's a are five hundred

proof steel yeah we're making the frying-pan from pub G we're seeing how

much current it takes to heat up one of these projectiles so we have two car

batteries in parallel now hypothetically we should be able to get about 2,000

amps out of these ready

well she getting red-hot how's her current there we go look at

that red-hot yeah okay yeah good job you have one directed by the Red Hot 900 the

dropping yeah for that ant hey 50 so as you can see there's also a

sweet spot before the red-hot metal it gets highly unstable just for shits and

giggles we're gonna see how much power will take to heat up actual rebar

there's some pretty good sparks so the other issue with actual rebar is because

it's all rusty and rough it is super hard to actually get a good contact so

honestly the other option is probably better if I would loo that I cut through

the arc yeah test two

today we can't fit two car batteries on the bottom of our cross now we're gonna

power this crossbow we thought we were gonna be able to use some of the normal

zippy lipo batteries that we had already but it turns out they're not powerful

enough and in the game they use a what looks like a six volt lantern battery

and that would just not heat up a piece of rebar so we're gonna have to use some

modern technology each of these can actually put out 250

amps which means all aid in them together what's that around two thousand

amps plus they have a peak discharge rate of double that so that means

hypothetically we can put out 4000 amps that's almost 30 kilowatts of energy are

you guys staring now we want to make this look as close to the crossbow in

the game as possible so we're gonna disguise these light bows as lantern

battery and to do that I got some yellow duct tape ha and there you have it one

lantern bed

so we still need to connect the power wires from the battery to the contactor

which connects to this copper bus bar here and in the battery to connect

directly to the bus bar in the front making it short on the rebar in between

them now before we did the X we're basically

now to take off take apart the entire gun just to fit the wire through the

inside of the gun we've got to add a stirrup so we can actually load this

thing okay you give that beep three it's like if that mechanism failed as I'm

pulling my fingers there hmm the safety didn't auto engage that time

please work trigger mechanism all right so just for a point of reference we're

gonna try shooting a regular crossbow to see how it compares to the one we built

that's so easy cross puzzle cool yeah once again this is how easy 135

pounds draw a cross bill it's below just like that cannot do that on mine

well sure what's more since a little you can't dry fire these things yeah we

shouldn't shoot this one I saw another one somewhere

I like crossbows hey back to our craft oh come on

three two one

all right first test of the crossbow we're not going to eat anything up just

yet but let's see if it can shoot a regular arrow oh you go at me okay ready

all right let's move on to some more serious firepower more serious

ammunition and bent it oh my god let's shoot it from the ground I have to hold

it holy shit yes that's my sparks here we

go why is it not turning red

there we go holy

and I'm gonna aim for this shoot holy Sh I hit the Apple zoom and zoom in get the

steam

I chased really good for us alright I missed it but half her skulls

gone

oh boy

yeah let's talk about what we're going to test the song we actually picked up

some Ivan heads from zombie go boom but unfortunately these things don't come

with brain matter on this episode of cooking with a hack Smith we're making

ZOMBIE BRAINS we don't have a lid do it it's in the messy you know we don't have

a lid have you guys ever seen chicken hearts before

what's the candy that's shaped like this no Swedish great alright play a gumdrop

but like I like that they're weird oh yeah throw any eggs in fridge

this was actually an CH he graciously donated to cooking with Zack Smith yeah

they think things are bad man that is nasty I guess I'll just I'll Jam a few

chicken hearts in

I'm a chicken

hammer and there you have it zombie brains made a lot of extra you

want some oh hello my name is Gordon Hackman and I'm a research associate at

the Black Mesa facility in the anomalous materials department at least I was

until everything kind of went sideways so I've had to create this weapon to

deal with the issues we've been having so let me show you how it works all

right now it's time to test our highly experimental weapon for killing head

crabs I mean zombies I guess we gotta draw

this first now for the purposes of this test we want to make sure we have a

exact baseline for the weapon so we're gonna be shooting it from this platform

as opposed to actually holding it all right so ready to test safety off

what really sliced the head open there

tick - I don't think I've ever seen this happen during I haven't had before so I

think we I I didn't actually holy crap I

didn't quite get to the red-hot part so that's why it's not a fire he's not

having a good day yeah yep what so in the game when these red-hot rebars stick

into a frigging concrete that's just that would never happen because once

it's red-hot its malleable it is soft as you can see here like it literally

became like I almost lay a little corkscrew and pretty much all of them

have bent so so one thing half life probably got a little bit wrong with the

the physics in that game among other things

yeah I'd say that's pretty effective all right so the resistance crossbow proves

pretty effective against zombie heads especially because it actually lights

some on fire so even if you don't get a critical hit you're lighting that

zombies head on fire and they're not gonna last very long after that but we

got finished this guy and I got a crowbar

oh Jesus Christ those things are hard yeah I'm a lot more impressed with the

bullet went through him now like seeing how hard this skull is

there we go

all right final test big bolt super red-hot we're gonna see what it looks

like in slow motion when it literally squiggles itself on this plywood skid

all right so we're likely pumping around 15 to 20 kilowatts of electricity into

this piece of steel and it is just glowing orange hot it is going to start

melting soon we need to shoot it ready I didn't go to squealy he's definitely

wood flying but better if we actually had some well I hope you guys enjoyed

Summoner Showcase Episode 128: Academy Ahri - Duration: 3:23.

What's up Summoners? I'm Lulu, AKA Riot Swimbananas

and welcome to another exciting episode

of the Summoner Showcase.

I realized I have a small lisp with my fangs in

so I'm gonna take those out for the rest of the show

You're all back to school so we're going back to school

with an all Academy epsiode of the Summoner Showcase.

First up, ZowieBlaze made this

amazing Teemo getting dunked

drawing for a friend.

Darius is hardcore bullying Teemo in this shot

which makes my heart sad cause I love Teemo

but I also understand the hate.

The angle is unique on this one,

showcasing a view of Teemo getting punished

we've never quite seen before.

I'm sure you guys are happy about that one.

I like Teemo :(

Wow, this picture is dense with cosplayers.

Submitted by Malice Cosplay, who's not even

in the photograph, here's Kadu=Out and friends

in their various Academy cosplays.

Kadu and the Gang took this shot at the

YouTube Space in New York with the goal of

getting as many of his friends

in the same shot from all over the world.

Every cosplayer came up with their own ideas

and created Academy champs.

With a little Photoshop magic, all the

shots were then compiled together by Kadu.

Getting cosplayer groups together is tough to do

physically, especially when there's this many people

A digital photograph solves that problem.

Ektrix submitted her Academy Ahri cosplay to the

Facebook page, and holy moly...

that's a good Ahri.

I got to see this cosplay in person at

Anime Expo and it looks just as awesome

in real life. She chose Academy Ahri since Ahri

was her first midlaner.

Her friend Chewie did the photo edit inspired

to show an exciting battle in the middle of a classroom.

Miseriae amet Dolor submits an

inside look at League teachers

between classes in this teacher's lounge illustration.

All of these are original concepts

and since Thresh is one of their favorite champions

he shows up in most, if not all, of their art.

Fun fact: their Summoner name is based off

a Mordekaiser quote. Nice.

Fluffy Mochi Crafts made an amigurumi Ahri

that has crocheted it's way into my heart.

She's made with acrylic yarn, stuffed with

polyester filling, and added detail plastic safety eyes

so you can give it to a baby or a Riven main

and they won't choke on it.

Each amigurumi takes about 12w hours to create

from scratch. She's been doing this with her first

one made back in season 2!

She's combining two of her favorite things:

League and Cute Things.

Well, that's it for today!

You should probably submit some of your stuff to the show.

By the way, which champion would you

like to see go back to school with

and Academy skin? Make sure to put it in the comments.

That's all for this week, I'm Riot Swimbananas

and no, Lulu is not six foot tall, I used my ult!

Ha ha!

Kellyanne Conway Says Trump "Empowers And Elevates" Women, Ignoring His Sexual Predator Behavior - Duration: 4:00.

Kellyanne Conway, a counselor to President Donald Trump, decided she was gonna get on

Twitter and praise the president for what she calls empowering and elevating women in

this country.

That was particularly a response to the fact that Donald Trump has nominated Kirstjen Nielsen

to be the head of the Department of Homeland Security.

Kellyanne Conway thought it was a good opportunity to go out there and show the country just

how great Donald Trump is when it comes to women's issues and promoting women to positions

of power here in the United States.

That went over on Twitter about as well as you would expect it to, because unlike Kellyanne

Conway, the rest of the country understands that Donald Trump has for decades been exhibiting

all of the signs and symptoms and behavior of a sexual predator.

45 women have come forward and accused Donald Trump of either some kind of sexual misconduct

or sexual harassment over the years.

Donald Trump claims that all of these allegations are false, yet has not necessarily filed a

libel or defamation suit against any of these women which he is prone to do in any case

where somebody actually happens to say something about him that isn't true.

For the record, I'm going to give these women the benefit of the doubt.

I'm not gonna take the Republican stance and assume that they are just glory hogs out there

trying to get famous.

I'm going to assume that Donald Trump did in fact do what these women are accusing him

of doing.

Why am I gonna assume that?

Because he's pretty much admitted it on tape.

That Access Hollywood tape from 2005, that was an admission of guilt.

That was an admission that he is a sexual predator from his own mouth.

Not to mention the fact that Miss Ohio was one of the people who responded to Kellyanne

Conway's idiotic tweet, asking her, "Can you ask the president why be bulged into our dressing

room at the pageant?

Because that's another thing Donald Trump was known to do when he owned the Miss America

or Miss Universe pageant, I forget which one it was.

He would bulge into the dressing rooms when knew that women were changing just so that

that creepy old man could get a peek of those gorgeous women changing their clothes.

Donald Trump has not empowered women, he's not elevating them to new positions as Kellyanne

Conway said.

There is only one position that Donald Trump wants any woman in, and that's because he

is a dirty, disgusting, hypocritical sexual predator.

His past history proves it.

His statements that he has personally made prove it.

For Kellyanne Conway to get out there and say anything to the contrary of that is an

absolute lie, and she has to know it.

I refuse to think for a minute that Kellyanne Conway is not fully aware of Donald Trump's

history here.

I refuse to believe that she's not aware of all the lawsuits that have been filed against

him for sexual harassment.

I refuse to believe that she hasn't personally heard that Access Hollywood tape.

Everyone understands what Donald Trump is about.

And it's not about empowering women, it's about showing that he has power over them

and his attempts to use that power to get them to do things that they clearly do not

want to do.

Donald Trump is no better than Harvey Weinstein at this point.

It's time for the Republicans to wake up and understand that fact.

She Had TWO Balls!?! - What Orianna Could Have Been - Duration: 8:39.

What's up guys it's me Jeremy!

Once again on What Could Have Been, we're going to be looking at a really old champion—Orianna.

Orianna on the other hand was what's called a bottom-up design; Riot started with the

mechanics and gameplay features that

they wanted to put into League of Legends, and then they figured out how to theme it.

We usually start out What Could Have Been by starting with characterization and concept

art, but since that's not really true to Orianna's development timeline, we're

going to go bottom-up too and start with her gameplay.

Riot Xypherous, Orianna's designer, commented that her entire kit had been designed before

any theme conceptualization had started.

To create Orianna's base kit, Xypherous took a relatively simple approach; he started

with Sivir's Boomerang Q, then broke it into three separate parts.

This gave him the core of Orianna's gameplay—she'd have a controllable weapon that she could

send out or return back to her.

Essentially, using QWE in a rotation with Orianna will act very similarly to throwing

out Sivir's Q, although of course with a few other benefits tied in.

Q will throw the orb out, dealing damage to enemies it passes through.

W emits an AoE slow and damages enemies around the orb, and E brings it back and adds a shield

and resistances for a little bonus utility.

In those three simple abilities, Xypherous had found a way to create a completely unique

approach to traditional mage gameplay.

Rather than slinging spells, she controls an orb that stays on the battlefield.

This is allowed Orianna players to leave their orb wherever they choose, as long as they

stayed close enough to it, giving way to the 'zone control' playstyle that allows you

to force enemy players away from specific locations on the map.

The difficult part was finding an Ultimate that fit in well with the rest of her gameplay.

Xypherous tried quite a few different things in a bid to create the perfect synergistic

Ultimate.

One of the early versions acted similarly to Orianna's E, but instead of targeting

an ally, you could attach the orb to an enemy in a similar way to Lulu's Help, Pix!

In fact, we're guessing that Xypherous liked the idea of this ability but didn't think

it was really contributing to Orianna's gameplay enough as an Ultimate, so he saved

it for a later champion as a basic ability.

He also tried one version where Orianna's orb would become a mini shock aura, although

he didn't specify whether it was an instant effect like a Blitzcrank Ultimate, or a damage-over-time

skill similar to Viktor's Ultimate.

Although it matches better with Orianna's kit than the enemy-attach Ultimate, it's

still not really impactful enough to do credit to her gameplay, and

Orianna still lacked enough crowd control to be a true zone control character.

Another attempted solution was pretty crazy—pressing R would simply give you another ball to control.

That's a pretty powerful effect, making it a strong candidate for her Ultimate, since

it would allow you to essentially double your damage output, crowd control and shielding

capabilities, giving you even more zoning capability.

Unfortunately, it was an absolute mess to control, and it would likely have given Orianna

a skill floor so high that only the very best mid laners would ever bother to use her.

The ideal solution to Orianna's Ultimate ended up being a lot more simple in it's

design—like her W, it's an AoE effect that occurs around the ball, rather than Orianna

(unless of course she chooses to attach the ball to herself).

Unlike W however, her Ultimate deals even more devastating damage, and also gives a

bad-ass black hole-like crowd control effect that sucks all enemies into the center in

a massive shockwave.

Command: Shockwave achieved a few key things: it synergized with the rest of her kit, it

gave Orianna some much needed hard CC, and it turned her into a massive threat that caused

enemy players to be extremely careful when it comes to play around her ball.

With the design of Shockwave, Orianna's gameplay was complete, and it was equally

satisfying to play as it was to play against, making her one of the most well designed champions

ever from a gameplay perspective.

With her kit complete, it was time to actually create a character that matched up with it.

The working concept up to this point was simply 'Ball Girl,' which goes to show just how

little focus had been put on characterization so far.

Riot knew they wanted the concept to be a girl, and they knew she'd be controlling

a ball.

Riot Xypherous made his own attempt at defining the Ball Girl as a fully fleshed out character,

having been inspired by Touhou Project's Hong Meiling.

Hong Meiling is a martial arts specialistic, typically wearing a dragon martial arts robe.

Xypherous used this design as a base, then added in a Chinese Dragon Orb as justification

for her ball-controlling prowess.

The theme was pretty simple, although hugely different from the Orianna we know today—as

a character, she'd essentially be a dragon reincarnated in human form, but she'd still

be the one possession of her dragon orb.

As a character concept that's pretty cool, but for unknown reasons the rest of the team

decided to move in a different direction; possibly because Riot had other ideas for

dragon champions or because they wanted to cover new ground rather than defaulting to

Eastern design influences.

The creative team and art team got together and came up with a new concept, one that would

eventually become Orianna.

The early concept art shows it pretty clearly—the new direction was Clockwork, with Orianna

being a clockwork girl controlling her clockwork ball.

In terms of bottom-up design, this provided Riot with the context for their new champion.

All that was left to do was refine her visual design, give her a name and build out her

character to create a backstory that would give player something to resonate with.

The Lady of Clockwork was finally complete, and she went on to become one of the most

successful champions in the history of League.

The Enchanted River of Mirkwood - Lord of the Rings Lore - Duration: 9:11.

While I was working on my last video, I skimmed through the book of the Hobbit once again,

and I came across the enchanted river that's mentioned in Mirkwood.

And I think it's something that's really overlooked, and it would be quite enjoyable

to speculate on.

So the following will be a brief history of this river and its geography, and then, together,

we will unravel its mysteries.

So the first time we hear about this river, is when Thorin and company are about to leave

Beorn's hut, to start their journey through the dark forest of Mirkwood.

Beorn tells them ""There is one stream there, I know, black and strong which crosses

the path.

That you should neither drink of, nor bathe in; for I have heard that it carries enchantment

and a dim great drowsiness and forgetfulness."

When they eventually come across this river, Bombur, the fattest dwarf, falls inside it,

and this causes him to fall asleep for 4 days, and it also gives him amnesia, as he forgets

everything that had happened to them ever since they left Bilbo's hobbit hole.

Now this is an extremely brief summary, and there are many other prominent parts and points

in this story concerning this river but these will play a role in solving its mystery, and

therefore I thought it's better to just mention them later, instead of repeating myself.

So the river's origin, seems to start at the Mountains of Mirkwood, and it then flowed

northward to meet the Forest river.

Here, it seems, its magic ended or was diluted, as the dwarves later use this river to escape

the elven realm without any harmful effects.

The river's width was said to be less than 12 yards, as Bilbo estimates it to be so.

Now, the magic and enchantment in it has several possible origins.

Sme say that it originated from the magic of the forest itself, some believe it was

the work of the Necromancer, in Dol Guldur while others think it was the magic of the

Mirkwood Elves, perhaps even that of Thranduil himself.

Now out of all these, I believe almost exclusively in the Mirkwood Elf theory, and now we'll

explore the reasons behind this.

So first let's once again look at its location.

So from this map we see that it closed off part of the South-Western borders, of the

Elven Halls in Mirkwood.

Considering this, it does offer protection to the Elves of Mirkwood, cause it makes it

less likely that enemies could enter their realm through this area, instead they'd

just have to worry about their northern and southern borders.

Now Dol Guldur, the Necromancer's realm, is located around the southernmost part of

Mirkwood, and so enchanting this lake would seem quite counterproductive as a strategy,

for what would it keep out?

If the Necromancer wanted to separate the Elves from him, it would have made much more

sense to enchant part of the Forest river instead, as this would create a barrier between

him and them, though again they were miles apart.

Now let's consider the effect the river has.

Forgetfulness and Sleepiness.

They don't seem to be very harmful effects, and it seems that slight contact with the

water would also be seemingly harmless.

We know this, because when the dwarves are trying to cross the river, they see a boat

located near the opposite shore, and they decide to throw a rope, to attempt to pull

it in.

Their first throw fails, and the rope falls in the water.

When then pull it back Bilbo tells them "I don't suppose the magic is strong enough

to hurt you, if you just touch a bit of wet rope".

And this strongly suggests that the river was for defensive purposes, it's intent

wasn't to injure others.

Why would Sauron, or as he was known before, the necromancer, put such an effect on the

river?

Why not make it poisonous or corrupting to the touch?

On the other hand, let's say some of the wood men that lived in Mirkwood or some travellers

or even orcs and goblins were about to trespass into the Elven realm by crossing this River,

wouldn't forgetfulness and sleepiness cause them to turn back, and forget where there

were going, or even why they were entering the Elven realm, and therefore it would ensure

that the Elves remain safe.

The exhaustion and sleepiness it caused, might even dissuade invaders from fully crossing

the River, instead again they would turn back and perhaps rest on the shore.

When Bombur falls into the River, he passes out for 4 days, and once he awakens, he says

that he had wonderful dreams where he walked in a forested elven realm, and there was a

great feast taking place, and a woodland king sat nearby.

Later when the dwarves enter the realm of the Elves of Mirkwood, Bombur exclaims that

it looks as if his dreams were coming true.

So firstly it would seem odd why any spell of the Necromancer would give positive wonderful

dreams, and secondly dwarves don't have the gift of foresight, so why would Bombur

dream of this elven realm, unless the river was linked to them in some way?

Now the river is described as being black, Beorn tells us as much and when Thorin and

company reach it, we're told "and it was black, or looked it in the gloom" Now making

the river black, might seem odd for an elven enchantment, as it might be associated with

corruption or altering nature, however we're also told, that it could perhaps have seemed

black due to the gloom.

And I think this is a lot more likely.

My main justification behind this, is that across the river there was a boat tied to

the shore, and the boat is said to be "a little black boat".

Now if we assume the boat was made of wood and that the elves had made it, we know that

in the surrounding area there were oak trees, and beech trees especially.

Now both these trees have a brown bark, and their wood is light in colour, so why would

the boat appear black?

I doubt it was dyed it for some reason, and so I think that the gloom that was present

there made it seem that the river and boat were black.

There are a few more points that I'd like to make.

So the boat we just mentioned suggests that the Elves used to cross this river at times

and that they were familiar with it.

However before it, there was a bridge connecting the two sides of the river.

When the Dwarves and Bilbo reach the river, we're told "There had been a bridge of

wood across, but it had rotted and fallen, leaving only the broken posts near the bank"

I don't think the bridge was made by orcs or evil hands, it seems quite fancy for them

to craft posts for it, and so I think it was either made by the Elves of Mirkwood or the

Men that lived in the woods.

This is again my own speculation, but I feel it reflects that perhaps, before, the Elven

realm might have been more open and welcoming to foreign lands, but with time they grew

distant and more secluded.

The fact that the bridge is almost completely rotted and falling apart indicates this might

have occurred even hundreds of years before, and I think if we believe that the magic of

the Elves was responsible for enchanting the river, it would be a bit pointless for them

to enchant it and then build a bridge crossing it, and so I think the enchantment was placed

after the bridge had started to fall apart.

After Thorin and Company cross the lake, we're told " they became aware of the dim blowing

of horns in the wood and the sound as of dogs baying far off.

Then they all fell silent; and as they sat it seemed they could hear the noise of a great

hunt going by to the north of the path, though they saw no sign of it" While reading this

I wondered if it was merely a coincidence, some random elven hunt, or if the elves were

somehow alerted to the disturbance in the river, and had thus sent out a hunting party

to find the intruders, but we can't really say for sure, though I thought I'd share

it with you.

This wraps up the video friends and I'd really like to hear what you think, do you

agree with my points, that the Elves were most likely to have enchanted it, or do you

believe in some other cause?

This video is more of a discussion I feel, cause there are a lot of lines and connections

being made, and so if you think I missed anything that could reveal more or contradict something,

drop a comment below.

If you can leave a like, cause it helps this channel immensely, and subscribe to join our

fellowship today.

I hope to see you all in my next video, where together we can once again explore the wonderful

world, and lore of middle-earth.

And I don't want to just like put out a video for whatever reason

But I wanted to actually be a good one that you guys would enjoy or generally good

So we went live by Wednesday night

And hopefully that went well

Leave in the comments below if you liked us going live if you would like us to do that more I know in the beginning

I said that we were gonna do that so let me know if that's something that you would like and my arm hurts

So I'm going to go to the sign up

So

While chip is in the store, and we're waiting for him to get back. I was on Twitter

and I

Want to say something that?

Hi, buddy

Um I want to say something and remind you guys of some things

Yes by by

Who you're seeing on Twitter is not necessarily who that person is or any social media?

Whether it be YouTube or Instagram

Who you're seeing is not who that person really is it's who they're portraying themselves to be

Now some people are equally as trash as they are on Twitter

Because that's just the way they care to portray themselves

but

Some of you get so caught up in your face, and you're like

I love this person to death anything that they say is gospel. I will ride or die for their opinion. I love them so much

But you don't know who that person is you don't know what they really think you

Don't know what they believe you don't know who they are you don't?

And something I do

Is I frequently go look at the things that the people?

I like the likes that they are liking because a lot of people forget that you can see what another person likes

and I think that tells way more than what they're posting or

If it's like a YouTube or like if you can and if they have it enabled go check out and see who they're subscribed to

because

That tells you a lot more than the posts that they're putting out or the videos that they're talking in

um yeah

And it just makes things

For you because there are a lot of people who I really thought I genuinely liked and then I see the things that they're

liking and

Honestly like it's kind of disgusting like they're

You know on their Twitter page talking about

I love equality and I you know love everyone equally and let's all just be friends

But then you see that they're like liking

super racist posts and like

Co-signing on ignorance, and it's just it's not something that

They would necessarily put out there

But it's something that they're willing to admit publicly that they like so yeah

That's just a reminder to like not necessarily put so much stock into these people that you don't know in real life

That you haven't gotten to build a relationship with and get to know on a personal level

Because you'll you'll get your feelings hurt that way and

honestly like

It's just the Internet

It is the Internet people and yes everybody is somebody like everyone on the internet is somebody

they are real living human being who is putting out thoughts and posts or whatever and

While we should all be kind and nice to each other you also don't have to care

Like you really don't like I don't put any stock into anything that people put on Twitter or social media

Because that's not who they are that's who they're portraying themselves to be and so I know for myself personally

I just try to portray myself in my best light so you guys aren't gonna

See me like at my worst like that's I don't think that would be fun to watch

I mean probably because I'm crazy, but like it wouldn't be encouraging and uplifting

And it wouldn't send the message that I'm trying to send to people and so in the same way

Like take some time get to know me get to know the people that you're you know following on Twitter and that you really like

And love and swear that you're gonna ride or die for as a fan

Before you start taking their word as gospel

So

We are home it is

10:10 and I just got off of live on

Instagram because apparently YouTube doesn't let you go alive unless you have a hundred subscribers

And we are ten away guys. Go ahead and share what your friends get us two hundred

I would love to do this giveaway with you

Please please do this

But yeah

it was a good life people ask a question shout-out to my friend in Asia for

Keeping the convo going and sorry to everyone else who had to sit there and watch me eat

but

We're just kind of winding down. I'm trying to be more disciplined, and I'll do another video about this

And we'll talk about it another time, but I'm trying to be in bed by 11:00 which right now it is

Sorry for this awkward. You know my baby

This is ten eleven, which it looks like eleven ten in your thing or 1101

But it's ten eleven so I need to shower and then I need to prepare myself for tomorrow

And then

Thing would have been and so I'm here with chip and

We're gonna close out this vlog so if you are new to our channel

Go ahead and hit the subscribe button, and if you are a part of the darling clan welcome back friends

Today was a good day, and we'll take it. We'll take as many good days as we can get

but other than that

You got any words for the people

#Gianluca Vialli admits he would still be a virgin if it wasn't for football - Duration: 2:57.

Gianluca Vialli admits he would still be a virgin if it wasn't for football

CHELSEA legend Gianluca Vialli has revealed how football changed his life in the most important way: He had sex!.

Vialli is convinced he would still be a virgin were it not for the beautiful game.

Gianluca Vialli reckons he would still be a virgin were it not for football.

Borrowing Peter Crouchs famous line, Vialli, who spent three years at Stamford Bridge as a player, told the Telegraph: Football has been everything to me.

I bought my first house, my first car, because of football.

More importantly, I had sex for the first time because of football - otherwise I would still be a virgin!.

Stoke striker Crouch - married to stunning Abbey Clancy - was voted the funniest man in British sport back in 2010 for his memorable one-liner.

It was Peter Crouch who originally delivered the line about football helping him lose his virginity.

The Stoke forward is married to model Abbey Clancy.

The 6ft 7ins striker was once asked what he would be if he wasnt a footballer.

And he replied: A virgin.

But the throwaway remark hides a more serious side to Viallis off-pitch interests these days.

He is a founder of Tifosy - a crowd-funding initiative aimed at fans that allows people to invest in sports clubs.

Vialli, who won the FA Cup as player and manager with the Blues after bagging the Champions League trophy with Juventus, said: There are so many ex-footballers in the football industry but I think its important to find something meaningful, innovative, that can make a difference.

I felt this was an opportunity to get involved in something that in ten years time will be the norm.

Gianluca Vialli became a legend at Chelsea through his stints as player and manager.

Its about helping football clubs to raise money in order to become a bit more sustainable and financially sound.

But, at the same time, to build better relationships between football clubs and fans.

Fool Stories - Duration: 10:40.

I've been told about this before,

but personally saw for myself this anecdote only a week ago.

Do you know that for the second year in a row

such an event is hold in our country?

The show- attention- a parade of utility services' equipment.

That is - tractors, graders, asphalt pavers.

And this parade is held in all cities of Russia, by the way.

At the event you can see the dancing dump trucks,

the races of bulldozers as well as real utility people.

"During the parade everyone can see those machines,

sit in the cabins, find out how they are arranged

and what they're needed for.

The start of the all-Russian action was given by

the Deputy Minister of Construction and Utility Services of Russia Andry Chibis

and the Minister of Housing and Utility Services of the Moscow Region Evgeny Khromushin.

-With the creation of a new Ministry of Construction and Utility Services in the Russian Federation,

politics has completely changed.

Today we feel it in every direction, and how we work with heating, water...

These decisions, adopted at the federal level,

we try to realize together with you as much as possible,

so that our cities become cleaner, more beautiful and more comfortable.

Exactly. And it was created by these guys

from the newly created Ministry of Construction and Utility Services.

Why not? All done, let's fool around.

No pits on our roads, no dirty streets,

no more unexpected snow..

Well, in the middle of last week it was some, this much:

the traffic jams miles long, not a single grader- I watched it.

But, I'm sure it's more like an exception.

The main thing is that we now have such a necessary parade.

And inexpensive, probably? We begin.

Meanwhile, all last week Russians were very worried

about Spain because of its possible divorce from Catalonia.

Remember this hot story?

The Catalans held a referendum on separation

from the Kingdom of Madrid. The noise rose to the sky.

"Police interlocks, fights... One of the polling stations

drove a tractor to block the police.

In the meantime the police closed

almost all polling stations for the referendum.

As the probability of secession drove Spain literally to hysterics-

from our special correspondent Stas Natanzon"

According to the Kremlin's press service,

Vladimir Putin said that the Russians were very worried

about the Spaniards because of what had happened.

I immediately imagined the average Russian-

my mother, or my wife, mother-in-law...

how I wake up in the middle of the night

and she does not sleep, walks from room to room,

unpleasant, puzzled and even confused.

And I ask: what happened? Are you ill?

In response: oh, Alex, it hurts... the heart is not in place...

How are the Spaniards now?..

And so that night across all Russia.

But seriously, I want to ask Mr.Peskov:

his PR people from Yellow Pages?

Oh, yes... there are relatives, friends of friends...

Okay, this is "Real Journalism," and today - about the amazing .. Let's roll!

We move to the capital, where a stupid crime drama

is heating up.. with chases, detention, legal actions.

But the story may seem stupid only to a normal person:

Moscow policemen are sure that they have caught a real bandit.

It all started in February, when our compatriot Vladimir Masyuk

was arguing with RPS (traffic police). But first things first.

In general, Vladimir is extremely passionate about history.

His main passion was participation in various kinds

of reconstructions of historical battles. Such kind of merry-makings.

So, on that day, February 21, the man once again

took part in such a game.

Returning home, the man was stopped

at the post of RPS. We don't know

what happened there. But,

during the vehicle inspection,

in the trunk of Vladimir's car guards found

a 17th century musket. Or rather, a copy of it.

A gun, with which he participates in these reconstructions.

You will never guess what happened next.

A criminal case was opened against a person

for illegal possession of firearms. Attention to the screen.

-In the trunk besides the mock gun,

yes, there were 3 or 4 mock swords, chain mail...

"A license is not needed for a replica

or a copy of the weapon. The examination,

carried out during the investigation,

established that the object was made by handicraft.

-No research part is present, there is a description,

like what we see and describe,

further we answer the question

that the presented object is not a copy.

Literature and references to 3 forums was used...

That's it- experts refer to some Internet forums.

Outstanding! Keep going...

"Here are results of an independent examination,

which, according to Vladimir, was refused

to attach to the case. The item

was recognized as a copy of an old musket

of the 17th century. Same opinion from other experts.

-Based on what I see in the photo,

based on what I see in the description,

this item is a replica, uh ... of antique weapons,

a replica of a musket of the 17th century.

"Most of the participants in the historical reconstruction

are armed with similar mock-ups, replicas

or copies of weapons. It turns out

that everyone needs to withdraw their requisites.

Vladimir says his fellow soldiers

are now afraid to take part in the reconstruction.

Many such shows at risk of cancellation now.

-If we will prove that this is a copy or replica,

then he should not face criminal responsibility,

since the federal law on weapons directly says,

Article 13, that the historical weapon is not a subject of registration.

But, as we know, Russian policemen have their own

interpretation of any law. Therefore,

the man is facing four years of prison.

Another curious moment- he made this musket.

In our glorious criminal code there is another article-

illegal manufacture of weapons. Listen,

I said many times: we live in a fantastic country.

And now I invite you to the Caucasus,

to the city of Stavropol, where people complain

that they run very expensive water from the tap.

"Vodokanal" <Hydro> staff explain -

it's all about the high cost of delivering this water

to the end user and blame the electricity cost.

The price of the issue - 50 million rubles a year < about $900,000 US >,

which simply flow through the fingers.

Stavropolians have to pay these extra 50 million.

Scholars of the region tried to solve the problem long ago,

where was such a leak. Finally,

it happened. It turned out to be the mollusks-

shells that live in Lake Sengeleevskoe,

drinking source for townspeople. So, these shells are the bad boys...

"The creatures are called "The two-folded mollusks of Drissena".

The name is not the simplest, but the specialists

of the "Vodokanal" of Stavropol know it by heart.

The unique conditions of the Sengileevsky reservoir

proved to be successful for such organisms:

here they grow in clusters. On one square meter

can fit up to 10 thousand individuals.

That's what happens when such a colony

admires hydro construction. Several adult men

clean the surface with great difficulty.

Water to go through such obstacles is extremely difficult.

-In a certain sense, the mollusks,

who were so disliked by the city water utility,

are even useful: they feed on algae

and microorganisms that live in the Sengileev reservoir

and, by and large, purify the water. But still,

the harm from them is much greater,

they impede the movement of water through pipes,

more electricity is required. So it turns out

that they eat not only microorganisms,

but tens of millions of rubles annually.

Frankly, I'm not a great expert on this issue,

not at all. But, something tells me that there are something-

fish, or some kind of underwater living creatures

that feed on these shells. And if the specialists

of the "Vodokanal" found out about this problem,

what do they expect? To breed this fish,

it would have cost cheaper. I repeat,

I'm not an expert. But when I saw this report,

I suddenly remembered a story from my life.

I then worked on TV Circus... oh, no.. on the TV Center...

and one insurance company cooperated with our editorial staff.

Somehow the boss summons me, and says -

go with them to Murmansk, they have some kind of anomaly.

Two insured fishing boats have disappeared somewhere,

no one can find. Insurers tired to pay.

Omitting details I'll just say this:

when they showed me opinion of the local experts in Murmansk,

I almost fell off the chair -

the fish dragged boats to the sea-bottom!

Why did I tell this story? Because in Russia -

anything can happen. Okay, I'll wrap myself up.

It was "Real Journalism", and today like that.

On my page in Youtube - a link is above me -

you will find even more. Come in, smile.

Do not forget to subscribe to the channel.

Find me in the social networks, it's also interesting there.

Append to my friends, suggest topics- we'll raise and discuss them.

I hasten to bow, all for now...

-Came to buy a fresh grayling, and here - fudge...

the grayling sleeps... ha-ha-ha

Democrats Aim To Strip Mentally Unstable Trump Of His Ability To Launch Nuclear Weapons - Duration: 4:16.

House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi, is actually out there talking about something that's really

important.

She's talking about the fact that we need to have some kind of legislation, bipartisan

legislation, that would prevent the president of the United States from being able to unilaterally

launch a nuclear missile strike.

As it stands right now in the United States, dating back to a law passed in 1946, the decision

to launch a nuclear weapon rests solely with the president of the United States.

He doesn't even have to have a reason.

He doesn't have to consult with anybody else.

He doesn't have to get approval.

He doesn't even have to tell anyone.

If he wants to launch a nuclear strike, he can do it.

Normally, in the past, it hasn't been too much of a threat.

I don't think anybody really thought George W. Bush was going to do that or Obama or Clinton

or Bush Senior.

But with Donald Trump, a man who has expressed interest in dropping nuclear weapons across

the planet, this has become a very dire issue.

Not to mention the fact that in recent weeks, report after report has come flooding out

of Washington, D.C., saying that Donald Trump's mental stability is deteriorating at a very

rapid rate.

And yet this man has the sole power to wipe out entire populations, millions of people

at a time, because he is the only one that has the authority to drop these nuclear weapons

and no one can stop him.

Well, Pelosi and the Democrats are trying to put an end to that.

They want to make it to where you have to at least consult with your cabinet members

or, more importantly, and this would be the better option, you have to get approval from

Congress.

Let's make it clear.

Pelosi has said this has to be a bipartisan effort because, yes, you have to get Republicans

on board if you want to be able to pass it.

But more importantly, we have to get Republicans on board because we need to draft a piece

of legislation that doesn't only apply to Donald Trump here.

It needs to apply to every future president of this country until the end of time.

No one person should have that kind of authority, should have that kind of power, to be able

to kill millions of people in a matter of seconds.

These weapons, first and foremost, should not exist.

We should destroy and get rid of every single one of them.

But if they're going to continue to exist, then we need a hell of a lot more checks and

balances in place than just allowing one man who may or may not be a sociopath have access

to the codes that would allow these weapons to be launched all over the planet.

Donald Trump is not mentally stable enough to be able to make those kinds of decisions.

Yet as it stands right now, he's the only one that can make those decisions.

Hopefully Pelosi and the Democrats aren't just blowing smoke here.

Hopefully, they're going to go forward, draft up this legislation, work with Republicans,

because we know they're just as scared as we are of Donald Trump launching a nuclear

attack.

Work together to put an end to this archaic system that creates a war machine in just

one human being.

This kind of power needs to be spread out among hundreds of different people.

It needs to get approval from Congress.

It needs to get approval from the Senate.

It needs to get approval from the cabinet, because at least at that point, we understand

that there could be some intelligent people in that conversation that would tell everyone,

"You know what?

Probably not a good idea to go over and destroy the lives of millions of people, destroy the

earth in that area for 20 or 30 years."

You have to think about the consequences of dropping a nuclear weapon and we know that

Donald Trump isn't the kind of guy who ever considers consequences when he thinks about

what he's going to do.
