Al Green is at it again.

He's tried it before, it got nowhere.

So now he's trying it again.

On Wednesday, he introduced articles of impeachment against Trump.

Interestingly, the GOP presiding officer moved to begin the process to consider the resolution

less than an hour later.

But Green wasn't there!

He botched it, so his impeachment efforts against Trump won't get an imminent vote.

It's all a bunch of empty drama, ya'll.

In fact, his articles said this, that Trump "is fueling an alt-right hate machine"

that's "causing immediate injury to American society."

Ridiculous!

We all know it's the MEDIA that is twisting Trump's words to make it appear that Trump

is racist, etc.

When nothing could be farther from the facts and actual words he has spoken.

Green also said this in his articles: Trump has "undermined the integrity of his office"

and "brought disrepute on the presidency."

Not even his fellow Dems agree that there is anything to impeach Trump over.

For example, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) recently said "I don't want to vote on impeachment.

I think it's too early.

We don't have the evidence; we don't have the case."

The Enchanted River of Mirkwood - Lord of the Rings Lore - Duration: 9:11.

While I was working on my last video, I skimmed through the book of the Hobbit once again,

and I came across the enchanted river that's mentioned in Mirkwood.

And I think it's something that's really overlooked, and it would be quite enjoyable

to speculate on.

So the following will be a brief history of this river and its geography, and then, together,

we will unravel its mysteries.

So the first time we hear about this river, is when Thorin and company are about to leave

Beorn's hut, to start their journey through the dark forest of Mirkwood.

Beorn tells them ""There is one stream there, I know, black and strong which crosses

the path.

That you should neither drink of, nor bathe in; for I have heard that it carries enchantment

and a dim great drowsiness and forgetfulness."

When they eventually come across this river, Bombur, the fattest dwarf, falls inside it,

and this causes him to fall asleep for 4 days, and it also gives him amnesia, as he forgets

everything that had happened to them ever since they left Bilbo's hobbit hole.

Now this is an extremely brief summary, and there are many other prominent parts and points

in this story concerning this river but these will play a role in solving its mystery, and

therefore I thought it's better to just mention them later, instead of repeating myself.

So the river's origin, seems to start at the Mountains of Mirkwood, and it then flowed

northward to meet the Forest river.

Here, it seems, its magic ended or was diluted, as the dwarves later use this river to escape

the elven realm without any harmful effects.

The river's width was said to be less than 12 yards, as Bilbo estimates it to be so.

Now, the magic and enchantment in it has several possible origins.

Sme say that it originated from the magic of the forest itself, some believe it was

the work of the Necromancer, in Dol Guldur while others think it was the magic of the

Mirkwood Elves, perhaps even that of Thranduil himself.

Now out of all these, I believe almost exclusively in the Mirkwood Elf theory, and now we'll

explore the reasons behind this.

So first let's once again look at its location.

So from this map we see that it closed off part of the South-Western borders, of the

Elven Halls in Mirkwood.

Considering this, it does offer protection to the Elves of Mirkwood, cause it makes it

less likely that enemies could enter their realm through this area, instead they'd

just have to worry about their northern and southern borders.

Now Dol Guldur, the Necromancer's realm, is located around the southernmost part of

Mirkwood, and so enchanting this lake would seem quite counterproductive as a strategy,

for what would it keep out?

If the Necromancer wanted to separate the Elves from him, it would have made much more

sense to enchant part of the Forest river instead, as this would create a barrier between

him and them, though again they were miles apart.

Now let's consider the effect the river has.

Forgetfulness and Sleepiness.

They don't seem to be very harmful effects, and it seems that slight contact with the

water would also be seemingly harmless.

We know this, because when the dwarves are trying to cross the river, they see a boat

located near the opposite shore, and they decide to throw a rope, to attempt to pull

it in.

Their first throw fails, and the rope falls in the water.

When then pull it back Bilbo tells them "I don't suppose the magic is strong enough

to hurt you, if you just touch a bit of wet rope".

And this strongly suggests that the river was for defensive purposes, it's intent

wasn't to injure others.

Why would Sauron, or as he was known before, the necromancer, put such an effect on the

river?

Why not make it poisonous or corrupting to the touch?

On the other hand, let's say some of the wood men that lived in Mirkwood or some travellers

or even orcs and goblins were about to trespass into the Elven realm by crossing this River,

wouldn't forgetfulness and sleepiness cause them to turn back, and forget where there

were going, or even why they were entering the Elven realm, and therefore it would ensure

that the Elves remain safe.

The exhaustion and sleepiness it caused, might even dissuade invaders from fully crossing

the River, instead again they would turn back and perhaps rest on the shore.

When Bombur falls into the River, he passes out for 4 days, and once he awakens, he says

that he had wonderful dreams where he walked in a forested elven realm, and there was a

great feast taking place, and a woodland king sat nearby.

Later when the dwarves enter the realm of the Elves of Mirkwood, Bombur exclaims that

it looks as if his dreams were coming true.

So firstly it would seem odd why any spell of the Necromancer would give positive wonderful

dreams, and secondly dwarves don't have the gift of foresight, so why would Bombur

dream of this elven realm, unless the river was linked to them in some way?

Now the river is described as being black, Beorn tells us as much and when Thorin and

company reach it, we're told "and it was black, or looked it in the gloom" Now making

the river black, might seem odd for an elven enchantment, as it might be associated with

corruption or altering nature, however we're also told, that it could perhaps have seemed

black due to the gloom.

And I think this is a lot more likely.

My main justification behind this, is that across the river there was a boat tied to

the shore, and the boat is said to be "a little black boat".

Now if we assume the boat was made of wood and that the elves had made it, we know that

in the surrounding area there were oak trees, and beech trees especially.

Now both these trees have a brown bark, and their wood is light in colour, so why would

the boat appear black?

I doubt it was dyed it for some reason, and so I think that the gloom that was present

there made it seem that the river and boat were black.

There are a few more points that I'd like to make.

So the boat we just mentioned suggests that the Elves used to cross this river at times

and that they were familiar with it.

However before it, there was a bridge connecting the two sides of the river.

When the Dwarves and Bilbo reach the river, we're told "There had been a bridge of

wood across, but it had rotted and fallen, leaving only the broken posts near the bank"

I don't think the bridge was made by orcs or evil hands, it seems quite fancy for them

to craft posts for it, and so I think it was either made by the Elves of Mirkwood or the

Men that lived in the woods.

This is again my own speculation, but I feel it reflects that perhaps, before, the Elven

realm might have been more open and welcoming to foreign lands, but with time they grew

distant and more secluded.

The fact that the bridge is almost completely rotted and falling apart indicates this might

have occurred even hundreds of years before, and I think if we believe that the magic of

the Elves was responsible for enchanting the river, it would be a bit pointless for them

to enchant it and then build a bridge crossing it, and so I think the enchantment was placed

after the bridge had started to fall apart.

After Thorin and Company cross the lake, we're told " they became aware of the dim blowing

of horns in the wood and the sound as of dogs baying far off.

Then they all fell silent; and as they sat it seemed they could hear the noise of a great

hunt going by to the north of the path, though they saw no sign of it" While reading this

I wondered if it was merely a coincidence, some random elven hunt, or if the elves were

somehow alerted to the disturbance in the river, and had thus sent out a hunting party

to find the intruders, but we can't really say for sure, though I thought I'd share

it with you.

This wraps up the video friends and I'd really like to hear what you think, do you

agree with my points, that the Elves were most likely to have enchanted it, or do you

believe in some other cause?

Hi everyone, I'm Garrett Verbakel with Century 21 Heritage House.

I'm so excited for today's episode, it's been a long time coming.

I wanted to discuss the topic of staging with you and why it's important to the sale of

your home.

But, instead of hearing me explain it I've invited a local professional to explain what

it is.

So, over to Patricia.

Hi, everyone, my name is Patricia Stockie-Abdallah.

I'm the owner, founder, and lead designer of Simplicity Home Staging and Design.

Garrett has kindly invited me to help educate you on what home staging is.

So without further ado, we're going to jump right in.

Home staging is the art of preparing a home for sale.

We help homeowners get their houses ready for sale by using a variety of techniques.

A couple of these I'm actually going to discuss with you today.

So first we're going to touch on decluttering and organizing.

This does not mean that we're going to come into a home and ask a homeowner to remove

all of their items so that we can bring all of our items in.

Essentially, what this means is that we're going to come into your home and educate you

on which items should be placed in storage, which items should be moved or removed from

the home, as well as which items should stay out and where the proper placement of those

items are.

So everyone does have clutter, its normal to have clutter in a home.

So, we really want to accentuate all the positives of your home and help buyers come in and envision

their things in your space.

Unfortunately, clutter does not allow a buyer to come in and view their things in this space.

So this is why we suggest things that we do.

The second thing I want to address is flow and function of the house.

So we ensure that each room is set up properly, and functioning as it should.

So that a bedroom is set up as a bedroom, a dining room is a dining room, a living room

is a living room.

In addition to this, we want to make sure the flow of the house is easy for homebuyers

to walk through and feel like they can move from room to room without having to worry

about walking into furniture.

So, we help with this by advising proper furniture placement, proper placement of accessories,

proper placement of artwork, and this really helps the homeowner move through the home

effortlessly, and helps to get the house sold.

So those are the couple items I have for you today.

so basically on my channel today we are doing like our own little spin on the

best friends by each other outfits Tech situation and actually we're doing

youtubers are buying my outfit so that to you were sent into forever 21 and

they basically had to come up with outfits that they thought I would like 3

out of a 100 bucks that's tough forever 21 it is more affordable 497 we came in

under my dream it was really difficult I know I think the prices have gone up

since I was a kid but their quality I feel like it's gone up I younger

not giving them more money

and better I think then when you like to see it laying out and so some people

could think oh it's just like a basic t-shirt but it's not a basic t-shirt it

smells it it has this I really actually like these jeans they're very

comfortable stretchy yeah they're high-waisted which I love I

probably would have never picked out this shirt and I honestly like it better

on but I wouldn't have fix it I don't think I like that but I

do like this outfit I will overall rate it 8 out oh shoot she had to do that

because I think she already knows who picks me up no well I thought it was you

I wake up first reactions I freaking love this dress

you guys obviously know that I love t-shirt dresses in every way shape and

form I've tended to shy away from the tighter stuff recently because I feel

like that was more in before but recently I'm starting to like it again

if I feel if I'm still in it I also love chokers like everyone probably knows

that about me and these are pink and I really liked him the one thing I was

like was this hat situation let me just tell you I don't wear hats I never can

wear hat my head is way too big to fit into hats and I looked so crazy because

my head is like so big however yeah when I went to put this on I was like wait it

fits my head what like I was so surprised granted I still don't feel

like I look radiant oh my god you look so cute though so because of that I will

give it a 9 out of 10 the one point is because I don't wear hats so it is not

my style but maybe I'll make it with you're

getting out of your conten this video honestly we actually thought about that

while we were shopping so good job you know yes

I'm very like pleasantly surprised with this outfit it's not like I didn't think

I would like it I just couldn't fully tell its potential and so I love love

love love the like shoulder cutout situation I think that I love it my only

critique with the sweater is that it is so hot in California that like I hardly

ever buy sweaters right and I guess like I shy away from buying warmer stuff

because I live in California but that's not really relevant Kurt I absolutely

love I've been looking for more skirts like this I actually bought one at

forever 21 that looks exactly like this but it was too big and I couldn't return

it but it looks very similar slightly different color I really like the way

this goes like up right here yeah and I like how much like tighten up tight like

it looks yeah claps you light on the booty yeah I really like this outfit but

I like the dress outfit more so I think I will also get this happen

eight out of ten but honestly all three outfit got really good scores like my

god 80 out of a hundred on a test in high school I was like great hey I'm

gonna have to say that the shirt and pants combo was you yes reason why is

because I really truly like saw you I knew I really bought the lottery I knew

I would like I could see Nikki wearing this exactly I was like this is cool the

remaining two I think this could so go either way Kylie Jenner outfit which is

what I'm gonna call it simple pieces but put together a really like 'whoa outfit

you know yeah but then this outfit is like taking

some risks with the colors this is like totally trendy and I know you like

totally have a bunch of stuff like this oh my gosh I don't know it's gonna guess

that this outfit was Kendall you didn't mix yeah the mix got the highest niki

picked out the grace dress and was like oh this is so soft yeah man I hope the

accessories with it and then a good same dress but they didn't actually really

knows us pretty well yeah we're that close all right so thank you guys so

WPlus 9 Little Dreamers Hello Baby - Scrapbook Boutique! - Duration: 6:01.

hi it's Therese from Lostinpaper and I'm here with scrapbook boutique and today I have

a very clean and simple baby boy card to make using some fun products I'm going

to start by die-cutting the word hello out of my it's out of my front panel

it's some blue cardstock and I'm just using my grid lines here to Center it on

my mat now this is an MFT die called happy greetings and I want to be

using the negative space today how cute is this set of stamps from wplus9 it's

called little dreamers and I just had to have it I just love the little images

and the way that you can hang them off things like some of them are there's a

really cute moon and some teddy bears and really sweet little images so I'm

gonna be doing some Copic coloring and I've just stamped out the bear that's

sort of hanging upside down like on an upside-down cloud and stamped it out

in some tuxedo black as well as a couple of little filler clouds because this is

a really simple card today I have got two colors of the Toner greys there the

T greys and I actually only use the 0 the T zero and that was dark enough and

I did come back in later and actually lighten that up with my colorless

blender which is one of the great things about Copics is you can actually remove

color with a lighter color that you use over top or you can remove it with the

colorless blender so this is just some really really simple coloring today I've

got the B quadruple zero and the B triple zero I did come in with a bit

later just to add some a little bit of shading if you call it that I didn't

want this to be too complex I want it to be a really simple card so I kept my

coloring very simple and you get to see most of it today and it's in real time

too

so I have left a little bit of white highlights there and that just

helps with like this light coming off the image rather than color absolutely

everything in and soak it within sometimes less is best and this is the B

triple zero which is actually a really light color still but I'm using this as

my shading color who would you think I know it's really really pale there today

and the cloud I've left mostly white and this is where I came in and just

lightened up those gray areas and like I said that's the T zero and it looks

quite dark there so now what I want to do is actually I should have done this

before so I didn't have to sit and wait for it to dry I just I don't think I had

this planned out who oh and I was making the card but what I've got here is a

piece of fun foam and I was just working out where on my card panel the word how

I was lined it up lined the die up again in the fun foam and taped it in place

and then I'm just cutting down the piece of fun foam so it's it's kind of behind

the panel quite neatly and that's going to help support the panel I'm gonna pop

it off so I did remove my die cut letters before I adhered it all down I

don't think it would make much difference whether you did or didn't

because normally I would leave them in place but that's what I'm trying to use

those letters and stop him from squishing here it didn't matter so much

so I've got my ATG and I did add some matte medium just behind the actual

die-cut letters and not too much just so that they all looked nice and neat and

flush and now I'm gonna set that aside to dry

I should have been doing my color I'm ready to go and I'm having to wait not a

very organised crafter here so this is my top fold card front and I'm getting

way too carried away with my ATG gun yet again and I actually went over where

the panels going to be but don't fret this glue it's really strong glue

but I just moved it out of the road with my finger and it didn't tear the paper

or anything it's great it's a great glue but you could do that with most tape

runners I wouldn't try it with scor tape though and then I just lined up the

panel on the front and then I'm gonna pop up my little element so I did decide

to keep my little clouds upside down as well and I've used some tape runner

behind the one that's behind the bear popped up the bear and then popped up

that's what this looks like sure is coming right now what do you think this

we have I think over 200 pounds oh this is so much that big one alone is 50

pounds it's so heavy and they have all these other ones and I even cooked all

bit and I got the green one let's load these things up this is so crazy we yeah

this one is called a knucklehead pumpkin and this is actually not a pumpkin is

called a gourd but it looks like a green watermelon pumpkin and then these are

just too like pretty big ones we have two more pretty big ones and then we

have this giant enormous one this one is so big

I'm not sure I'm a bit I'll lift it here yeah that was a pumpkin oh oh it's so

big teeny tiny ones these ones are so cute we got the pumpkins let's get home

because we're about to do something crazy whoo we made it

come let's get the truck open team yes all the pumpkins survived we have so

many pumpkins let's get right to it I'm gonna run in I'm gonna grab the giant

nerf gun and we're gonna see if we can explode one of these I don't know if

it's gonna work but it did work when we shot it against the water Moby we're

able to explode that hmm this water moans so good but this is a

pumpkin they might be stronger so I don't know if it's gonna work gotta

climb back through all this stuff here there it is

oh there's a nerf rocket launcher and this is the giant nerf cannon this red

one right here this is what we're gonna use today oh

okay I got the cannon we've seen the cap oh I

put the cap somewhere last time sharers I put the oh there it is that's here

that's it got the cap we just need hairspray and got the hairspray and

don't get the giant nerfed art oh yeah oh we'll see these little repair yeah Oh

like falling apart Oh yikes this could be a problem no problem we got some duct

tape let's tape it back up let's start with some blue duct tape let's put a

piece back here and patch it up and another let's do some orange now and

stick a piece on the front and patch this up we'll put it on here just like

that now we're gonna wrap this thing up and

make it look brand-new again whoa ah looks brand-new

oh yeah let's give it a test fire let's make sure this nerf cannon still works

let's make sure the Nerf dart is ready to go yeah if you haven't seen us shoot

this thing just watch out it's gonna be awesome this thing is so cool yeah

shares when you fire this thing you better have your running shoes on

because that Nerf dart is gonna go flying car you ready to load this thing

up yeah to do that you just put the Nerf dart in here like that you push it in

How To Check What Keywords You Are Indexing (Ranking) For On Amazon FBA! - Duration: 10:35.

what is going on guys welcome back to another video on this channel today I

want to show you guys how you can check if your indexing for keywords now

indexing means if you are showing up in the search results for certain keywords

and this is really hard to do other than manually typing them into Amazon this

can be very difficult but this tool I found it's completely 100% free

coincidentally it's one of the same tools that it is the same tools that I

made I made a video about in one of my previous videos showing about showing

keyword research and how you guys can find keywords but today's videos gonna

be about index checking which is another free option that they have if you guys

haven't checked the keyword research video by the way go check that out but

okay back to the video we have today I already opened up the angle Iser and

I've already taken the ace in for it right here we're gonna be using this one

as an example so if I go to ASA and I type in I'm gonna give him the ASA right

and now you're gonna go into typing keywords now you would have a list of

your keywords right your search terms in your product listing you can just copy

those and paste them here one by one right or just copy them and then click

enter just you go do one per line basically and maximum 80 characters so

you guys should have like 250 to 300 so you just do this a few times but I'm

gonna show you guys a little bit of what it would look like so I already know

some of the keywords for this product since we've done it so much so let's do

angle Iser template tool angle angle Iser

square general because for general tools

multi-angle okay so these should all be ones that we're gonna rank for we show

they should be ranking for now I'm gonna go into putting a few extra to show you

guys what it would look like if you don't rank for it so if I use the word

picture there's no reason for them to be ranking for picture right

what about potato there's no reason for them to be ranking for potatoes so it

really should not be much of it shouldn't be ranking for it if it tells

us that they are then either the products doing something wrong but since

they're a big brand I'm assuming that this tool would be incorrect but you

guys will see when I click check let's let it run its thing a little bit us I

believe just means of the United States right but oh no it doesn't rank for

potato it doesn't rank for picture and it

doesn't even rank for multi-angle I thought it would rank for multi-angle

but maybe not maybe it's the - just throwing them off maybe if I take off

the - let's take a look if they rank for this just take a look take a look

nope they don't even mean just multi sorry head we're just testing stuff out

you can see it just builds on to it right it just keeps adding their most

recent ones over here nope doesn't even rank for multi so they obviously don't

have that in their back-end for their keywords so no big deal I would probably

put it as a multi angle template tool as well would be one of the keywords that I

know a lot of people are doing but these guys are doing it no problem what we see

though is that they are indexing for analyzer they are indexing for template

they are indexing for tool angle angle - eyes are square general they're indexing

for all of these things and now how can we prove this right if we go here and we

type in templates tool about a big bada boom here they are they're indexing for

now indexing doesn't mean number one on the page four it just means that you're

showing up on your your listing is showing up when it's searched for you

don't mean so you can be on page seven at the bottom of page seven but if

someone types in angle Iser template tool and they click search and you're on

page seven you're still indexing for that keyword right you're just not

ranking well for it but you're indexing for it so those are two very different

things this way this way is super easy you don't have to scroll through

everything that's going on you don't have to like scroll through pages every

time you type in a keyword to see if your products showing off

you can simply just run this and this will tell you if it is or if it isn't

right so this is something this is a very cool and a very powerful tool that

I think a lot of you guys can get a lot of use out of it

obviously if you're just starting out Amazon or if you're looking for a

product this isn't quite where you are yet well for those of you guys will have

products up and you guys want to check it out feel free go ahead use this and

you'll see if you're indexing why is indexing important to know because the

reason I made the one of the previous videos on my channel is the most viewed

video on my channel talking about Amazon's keyword update where they're

only indexing you for like 250 to 300 characters what that means is that if

you have 1,000 characters or you fill up the whole search term thing if you were

to put that whole thing into your progress and you're not gonna be

indexing for all of those works because after 250 to 300 they're gonna cut you

off in those 707 50 you're not going to be indexing for you're gonna get a red X

you know that might be exactly what happened in this case I didn't think

about it until just now but this might actually have been what happened to

these guys is that maybe multi-angle was were character number 800 they're not

gonna be indexing for because because of Amazon's update they're no longer

indexing words past 250 to 300 characters so that's a little something

to keep in mind I'm gonna try and remember to link the other video about

the 250 to 300 keyword character limit at the end of this video so you guys can

make sure and go check that out there's a ton of valuable information about a

ton of good feedback form that video so that's something I highly recommend

checking out when I'm actually going to be doing right now also is I'm gonna be

showing you guys another example of this and how it would work so let's take this

guy I'm just clicking random right now it doesn't really matter if I were to

put in this guy and see how he's ranking for these keywords let's take a look

good good good umm the keyword was found in the back end keyword The Listening

buzz not index I am okay so X okay guy so I've got some mixed up scene I can

make this stakes as well I'm learning stuff as we

go together when I'm making these videos but what I found out is the X just means

that you're not indexed the exclamation mark means that it is in the backend

keywords but it's not indexed by Amazon so this refers back to what I was just

explaining to you guys where if you have over a certain amount of characters

Amazon's no longer gonna index you and this is probably where this came up I

don't even know why he has the word picture in his back-end that's beside

the point Amazon's not indexing him because he

isn't fully optimizing his back end keywords which only allowed 250 to 300

characters I can't emphasize that enough guys the number one mistake that all

Amazon salesmen all but the ones that aren't making a lot of money are the

ones that aren't successful is that they haven't optimized their listing and

their keywords and they aren't staying up to date so what probably happened was

that this person who is om a merchandise they probably they probably created

their listing a while ago and just left it because and they just reorder

whatever they need to and that's all they're doing they're not actually

focused on fully optimizing their listing all the time in pictures title

description bullet points and then in the backend the search term and all

those different things are all super important because when people land on

your listing they have to want to buy from your listing it has to look good

that's the front end right the title the picture has to look attractive so people

will buy it if you get it on traffic there and it's a terrible listing no

one's gonna buy but on the on the back end if you don't do your keyword

research correctly you put in the wrong keywords right or you put too many

keywords and you're not indexing for all of them or you put the bad ones in front

and you're not indexing for those because they're bad keywords right your

those are the bad keywords and the good keywords are in the back and you have

too many and they're not being indexed it's just a cycle for disaster guys

because you guys are gonna be making less sales so this is something super

important to keep in mind I love this it's called the websites owner tool com

I absolutely love this platform I use it for a product rough or keyword

research which I showed you guys in previous video and the index checker

just to make sure that I'm always indexing for my keywords right I wish I

could show you guys what mine looks like I ran the test on mine and I'm indexing

for all of my keywords which I'm super happy for because that means that my

listing is optimized and I try and change up my listing or not change I try

and optimize my listing like every two weeks I'll hop on I'll maybe edit the

title maybe edit pictures try and make small tweaks that I think would benefit

it obviously I wouldn't mess with it if there's no need but just tweets here and

then I think might benefit and the keyword was something that especially

the beginning I would be messing with a lot because I knew I wasn't perfect at

it I knew I wasn't good at it and so I was doing my best to make sure I keep

optimizing the right ones putting the right ones in front and blah blah

putting the right amount and all that and right now I've gotten a lot better

at this so really it does come from Jeff practice anyways guys hopefully you guys

Interestingly, the GOP presiding officer moved to begin the process to consider the resolution

less than an hour later.

But Green wasn't there!

He botched it, so his impeachment efforts against Trump won't get an imminent vote.

It's all a bunch of empty drama, ya'll.

In fact, his articles said this, that Trump "is fueling an alt-right hate machine"

that's "causing immediate injury to American society."

Ridiculous!

We all know it's the MEDIA that is twisting Trump's words to make it appear that Trump

is racist, etc.

When nothing could be farther from the facts and actual words he has spoken.

Green also said this in his articles: Trump has "undermined the integrity of his office"

and "brought disrepute on the presidency."

Not even his fellow Dems agree that there is anything to impeach Trump over.

For example, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) recently said "I don't want to vote on impeachment.

I think it's too early.

We don't have the evidence; we don't have the case."

Democrats Aim To Strip Mentally Unstable Trump Of His Ability To Launch Nuclear Weapons - Duration: 4:16.

House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi, is actually out there talking about something that's really

important.

She's talking about the fact that we need to have some kind of legislation, bipartisan

legislation, that would prevent the president of the United States from being able to unilaterally

launch a nuclear missile strike.

As it stands right now in the United States, dating back to a law passed in 1946, the decision

to launch a nuclear weapon rests solely with the president of the United States.

He doesn't even have to have a reason.

He doesn't have to consult with anybody else.

He doesn't have to get approval.

He doesn't even have to tell anyone.

If he wants to launch a nuclear strike, he can do it.

Normally, in the past, it hasn't been too much of a threat.

I don't think anybody really thought George W. Bush was going to do that or Obama or Clinton

or Bush Senior.

But with Donald Trump, a man who has expressed interest in dropping nuclear weapons across

the planet, this has become a very dire issue.

Not to mention the fact that in recent weeks, report after report has come flooding out

of Washington, D.C., saying that Donald Trump's mental stability is deteriorating at a very

rapid rate.

And yet this man has the sole power to wipe out entire populations, millions of people

at a time, because he is the only one that has the authority to drop these nuclear weapons

and no one can stop him.

Well, Pelosi and the Democrats are trying to put an end to that.

They want to make it to where you have to at least consult with your cabinet members

or, more importantly, and this would be the better option, you have to get approval from

Congress.

Let's make it clear.

Pelosi has said this has to be a bipartisan effort because, yes, you have to get Republicans

on board if you want to be able to pass it.

But more importantly, we have to get Republicans on board because we need to draft a piece

of legislation that doesn't only apply to Donald Trump here.

It needs to apply to every future president of this country until the end of time.

No one person should have that kind of authority, should have that kind of power, to be able

to kill millions of people in a matter of seconds.

These weapons, first and foremost, should not exist.

We should destroy and get rid of every single one of them.

But if they're going to continue to exist, then we need a hell of a lot more checks and

balances in place than just allowing one man who may or may not be a sociopath have access

to the codes that would allow these weapons to be launched all over the planet.

Donald Trump is not mentally stable enough to be able to make those kinds of decisions.

Yet as it stands right now, he's the only one that can make those decisions.

Hopefully Pelosi and the Democrats aren't just blowing smoke here.

Hopefully, they're going to go forward, draft up this legislation, work with Republicans,

because we know they're just as scared as we are of Donald Trump launching a nuclear

attack.

Work together to put an end to this archaic system that creates a war machine in just

one human being.

This kind of power needs to be spread out among hundreds of different people.

It needs to get approval from Congress.

It needs to get approval from the Senate.

It needs to get approval from the cabinet, because at least at that point, we understand

that there could be some intelligent people in that conversation that would tell everyone,

"You know what?

Probably not a good idea to go over and destroy the lives of millions of people, destroy the

earth in that area for 20 or 30 years."

You have to think about the consequences of dropping a nuclear weapon and we know that

Donald Trump isn't the kind of guy who ever considers consequences when he thinks about

what he's going to do.

Road to Republic: The French Revolution EXPLAINED - Duration: 8:15.

The French Revolution was a wild ride of rolling heads, tax reform, and did I mention like…

so many rolling heads.

So, hello, welcome to nerdyandquirky!

Here's some Cool History!

Just a warning, the French Revolution was this really massive web of events so I'm

going to split this exploration into 2 videos.

This video is part 1: the road to republic.

Our story opens in France in the 1700s.

This was back when the king ruled by divine right, which means they got to make all the

rules because Jesus said so!

Jesus also said turn the other cheek, but the French weren't about that.

They had invested deeply in the Seven Years War and the American Revolution, which meant

that France was broke.

And this was not the first time, despite France being a great power, they had really terrible

banking.

And I know.

You're watching a video about the French Revolution because you want public executions

not… financial institutions.

But it's really important to know that France was broke, corrupt, and taxed all the poor

people and none of the nobles.

So in 1738, this dude Charles De Calonne was made the controller of General French Finances.

He went up to European banks and was like, "Can France borrow some money?"

But because France was so sketchy with their finances, everyone said no.

Then in 1787, the Assembly of Notables began.

Calonne and King Louis the 16th partnered up to convince the nobles to pay taxes, and

in a surprising turn of events… it didn't work.

So, Calonne published this information… and got fired.

But it was now the late 1780s, enlightenment and secularism were on the rise, meaning more

people focused on science and wanted religion out of their state.

And with Calonne's reveal, the people had someone to blame for their suffering.

You could say they were… les miserables.

Does it count as a pun if that's literally where the title comes from?

Anyway, in 1789, the 3 estates of France got together to settle this.

The 3 estates being the clergy, the nobility, and everyone else.

Each estate got one vote which sucked if you remember that the clergy and nobility were

super tight.

So needless to say, the third estate never got what they wanted.

And an interesting thing about the third estate was that it wasn't just peasants or the

lower class.

There was this huge range of members from the poorest poor to the actual literal bad

and boujee, Bourgeoisie - educated Frenchmen rich with new money.

Nonetheless, the third estate decided to work together and on June 17th, 1789, they formed

the National Assembly.

Now I think it's important to note that they still weren't looking for a revolution.

They just wanted some semblance of equality.

But the clergy and nobility were so far up their own butts!

Then 3 days later, the Assembly members took the Tennis Court Oath, in an actual tennis

court, where they pledged to create a new constitution.

Louis XVI tried to intimidate them to stop, but it was already too late.

The movement had begun.

It inspired Parisians to riot against taxes and on July 14th, they stormed the Bastille

prison and confiscated weapons.

This showed that the revolutionaries meant business.

The national assembly took control of the capital, and Louis XVI was pressed to voice

support for the revolution.

Briefly, it looked like changes could come to pass with minimal bloodshed…

But would it?

Well, we'll find out but FIRST!

Okay back to the video!

So it looked like the revolution was going to end fast and peacefully…

But then the Great Fear broke out, and just by the name, you can probably guess that it

wasn't too great.

It was this panic in rural communities that aristocrats were trying to starve out the

population to quell the rebellion.

So peasant farmers started burning country manors and estates in protest.

It was the purge.

That's what this was.

This whole thing is basically just the purge.

To make matters worse, France was going through a food crisis.

Grain crops had failed 2 years in a row meaning bread, the main part of the average Frenchman's

diet, took up 88% of their wages.

IMAGINE SPENDING ALL OF YOUR MONEY ON BREAD!!!

People marched on Versailles.

And it's at this point when people say that Louis XVI's wife, Marie Antoinette was like,

"Let them eat cake!" but in French.

Except she didn't.

Nobody at the time even thought she did.

It's just that the phrase kind of became a metaphor for the nobility's mentality

leading up to the revolution.

Speaking of which, Louis the 16th didn't actually know how to deal with the revolution.

He was the king but he still sanctioned a few declarations and decrees from the national

assembly.

Overall, he kind of just decided to go with the flow for a bit.

This led to him being "imprisoned" in the Tuileries Palace on October 6th.

But like… imprisoned is a bit harsh.

He was house arrest… but like palace arrest.

Either way, his plan was working.

The people hated the nobility but the didn't mind the king so much, the Assembly actually

wanted a Constitutional Monarchy.

But that didn't last long because on June 20th 1791, after 2 years under house arrest,

Louis the 16th and his family fled Paris in an event known as the Flight to Varennes.

They tried to escape to the Austrian border and begin a counter-revolution, but were caught

in Varennes, a small town in France.

This totally killed the king's good will with the French people.

No longer was he the king for the people, he was just another noble douche.

The Assembly didn't even want a constitutional monarchy anymore.

They wanted 'MURCIA levels of freedom.

And the other European nations, specifically Austria and Prussia were like: "Too far.

Restore the monarchy and release the king or we'll have to fight you" in the Declaration

of Pillnitz.

So, Louis kept his life and his title, but his power was sapped.

By September 14th, 1791, he was forced to approve the National Assembly's new constitution

which limited the monarch's power.

It even went on to change his title from "King of France" to "King of the French".

He was subject to his subjects.

But this constitution was not great or egalitarian.

It struck out the nobility for obvious reasons but also the entire serving class.

So basically, only the middle class ran the country.

And by now it should be obvious that the revolution was getting bigger than itself.

There were too many different people with too many different goals.

Remember, the third estate was made of peasant farmers and boujee elites.

Plus, it had a fair few religious members but extremely secular goals.

So it wasn't just the people versus the nobility anymore.

And to represent these different views, a few new political faces arrived at the party:

the Jacobins - a hyper-liberal group pushing to turn France into a republic,

the Brissotins, later to be known as the Girondins - a conservative group pushing for a constitutional

monarchy, and the sans-culottes - a militant group composed

of the lower classes, and when I say militant, I mean MILITANT.

Now do you remember the Declaration of Pillnitz in which Austria and Prussia passive aggressively

told France to chill out.

Well Jacque Pierre Brissot, the leader of the legislative assembly, did not want to

chill out.

He pushed France to declare war on Austria… and they lost like SO FAST.

Louis removed Brissot from command which upset so many people, especially the Brissotins.

But Louis didn't care.

Then on August 10th, 1792, the Jacobins and the Sans-Culottes stormed Louis' palace,

deposing and arresting him for treason.

And that's when things REALLY went downhill!

In about a month, the monarchy was abolished and France was declared a republic.

And, as you can guess, being a king in a revolutionary republic kind of only has one ending.

Louis was put on trial and found guilty of treason.

He was executed on January 21st, 1793, and within the year, his wife Marie Antoinette

was executed as well.

But that wasn't the end of the revolution.

Far from it.

But with the monarchy gone, the fight was no longer about liberty, so… why keep fighting?

Andrew Garfield discusses the challenge of playing a real person in Breathe

Andrew Garfield is already earning praise for his performance in Breathe, but the Oscar-nominated actor says that playing a real person came with some unique challenges.

In the Andy Serkis-directed film, Garfield plays Robin Cavendish, the disability rights advocate who was paralyzed due to polio at the age of 28 and spent the rest of his life working to transform the lives of others like him.

Claire Foy plays his wife and advocacy partner, Diana Blacker, who is still alive and has actually seen the film.

"When you're panicked your breath changes — your breath is shallower and shorter," Garfield explained to EW.

"But Robin didn't have that ability; he was being breathed by some external machine.

So I couldn't have that natural impulse of that panic breath, and of course, I couldn't shout for help.".

Garfield also said that a "different kind of responsibility [and] pressure" came with shooting Breathe while people like producer Jonathan Cavendish, Robin and Diana's son, were involved and watched the making of the movie.

But the actor then added that he found a kind of comfort in their presence as well: "Whenever I was tired, whenever I felt a little pathetic or kind of resentful of being at work, all I had to do was touch Jonathan and just look at him and go like 'This is for you.

This is your family, this is your heart.' There's something kind of powerful about that.".
