Youtube daily report w Oct 20 2017

You may have heard the urban legend that tells us a spider took advantage of an open wound

on a human and laid its eggs there.

Sometime later, this person became an incubator for scores of little 8-legged orphans.

We say orphans, because how on Earth could mother have kept tabs on her little ones.

This is in fact a myth, as spiders just can't lay eggs in human skin.

Your body is a breeding ground, though, make no mistake about that.

Mites live on our skin, bed down in our eyelashes, while microscopic bacteria make a home in

our intestines.

In fact, trillions of microbes live in and on us.

What's more unappealing is when the living things become the enemy, sometimes frighteningly

so, and that's what we'll talk about today, in this episode of the Infographics Show,

Horrifying things that can be living inside us.

Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button so that you can be part of our

Notification Squad.

Perhaps one of the most commonly seen invasions of horrible living things in the human body

is the tapeworm.

Recent reports explain how a man in India had a 6.6 foot (2 meters) long tapeworm make

the man's gut its living quarters.

The worm was removed via the man's mouth in quite distressing fashion.

These things can grow up to 11.5 feet ( 3.5 meters) and can go unnoticed as they don't

always cause pain.

A report in 2012 showed Indian doctors removing one from a man's eye.

The larvae from the worms can get into undercooked meat and fish and this is how they get into

humans.

They could also live in human feces and then get onto the hands of humans if we don't

wash them properly after going to the toilet.

It's unusual they make it to a person's eyes, but if they get past there and reach

the brain then trouble will follow.

Tape worms aren't so bad if you've seen rather paunchy bot flies being removed from

a human body.

There's only one type that often chooses humans to lay its eggs and that is a kind

of tick named, Dermatobia hominis.

This parasite burrows into the skin and when removed looks like a maggot, only that maggot

can be as long as one inch (2.5 cm).

When they grow, you'll know about it as it gets uncomfortable.

As Wired magazine points out, they "rotate in their little burrows in your skin, and

this creates this sort of intense shooting periodic pain."

It's impressive how it happens.

The botfly grabs a flying mosquito in mid-flight and sticks its eggs to the underside of it.

When the mozzie finds you the larvae feel the warmth of your body and decide to make

a home there.

Watching what an infestation of these things looks like may put you off your bowl of rice.

It's fairly common, too, so you can watch the removal videos until your heart's content.

What about the tiny fish that tunnels into your penis when you take a leak in the river.

Well, this tale of Amazonian horror is more fact than fiction, even though European scientists

of yore published papers on this mysterious fish, called the candiru.

The story goes, it burrows into the urethra and then begins a campaign of causing you

absolute misery.

The problem is, even though tales abound in the Amazon about this fish, enough to exhort

local fisherman to tie up their baloney, an investigation by the BBC found only one case

had ever been officially reported.

According to the BBC, "After hours of surgery, urologist Dr Anoar Samad managed to extract

the fish, dragging its carcass back out through the unfortunate patient's penis."

Often regarded as one of the worst things that can happen to you is an invasion of what's

known as Screwworms.

The Screwworm fly looks for a place to lay its eggs and unfortunately a human being is

regarded as a workable host.

The problem is, the maggots have teeth and they burrow farther into you, sometimes right

into the nerve tissue.

If you annoy them, they keep on burrowing.

This can lead to intense pain or even death.

A British tourist came quite close after a trip to Peru.

When she arrived back to the UK, she heard scratching sounds in her head and started

getting shooting pains down her face.

After numerous trips to the doctor, it was found her ear was filled with these flesh-eating

bugs.

She had to have emergency surgery to remove what the surgeons called a "writhing mass

of maggots" that had begun chewing their way through her ear canal.

Had they been left alone, things would have gotten much worse.

Some journals explain the agony as being eaten alive from the inside as these horror-bugs

screw farther into you.

A disease you've probably all heard about is elephantiasis, wherein parts of the body

are grossly swollen.

You may not have known that the major cause of this is because of a parasite carried by

a mosquito that then enters a human.

These are called filarial worms, and they block the lymphatic vessels and cause a build-up

of fluid, which often affects the limbs and genital regions.

It's thought about 39 million people are affected globally by lymphatic filariasis,

which may or may not develop into people having oversized parts of the body.

There is no cure because the worms reproduce inside of you, although surgery can be successful.

Infections are most common in Africa, Central and South America, South Asia, and the Pacific

Islands.

The main thing is try not to get bitten, and if you do always make sure to clean your wounds.

A much more common infestation is that of scabies.

Just recently it was reported that everyone at a private jail in Nashville, Tennessee,

had to be treated for scabies.

That also included the staff.

Scabies is the result of scores of parasitic ticks burrowing into human skin.

They can be spread by people or by touching surfaces where they are waiting.

They'll make you itch like crazy, but the more you itch the worse it gets.

Anyone can be infected and it exists just about everywhere.

It may just end up looking like a graze on the skin, but the worse-case scenario would

be to develop what's known as Norwegian scabies.

Also known as crusted scabies, it is the result of a compromised immune system not attacking

the mites and hundreds of thousands of them living on you.

The result can be skin that turns into hard scales, making part of you look like a stone

man from Game of Thrones.

The next one may not be the most gross of infestations, but it's certainly one that

has driven people to utter despair.

These are called bird mites, critters that don't seem to be fully understood and provoke

a wide degree of speculation.

The bird mites usually live on birds, but occasionally make humans their host.

Cases have arisen when the mite's bird host has passed away and the tiny, not quite microscopic

mites, attempt to find a new place to live.

People sometimes refer to them as ticklers, as unlike some mites, they are big enough

to cause a tickling sensation when they run over your face or body.

Even when people have washed and bleached everything, fogged their houses, sometimes

even moved house, changed cars, bought all new clothes and bed sheets, they're still

there.

Forums reveal how people have breakdowns attempting to get rid of these things.

"I don't know how I can 'win' this war if I keep the mites to a minimum at home

but they are all over the work site area," said one person.

"There are days when it is all I can do not to break down and cry at work."

People have also talked about committing suicide on web forums because of these mites.

One of the worst things is that because people feel them running around on their body, but

they are incredibly difficult to see, they sometimes feel they have lost their minds.

At the same time other people tell them they must be suffering from a kind of bird mite

psychosis.

The feeling of insects crawling on the skin is also a well-known, sometimes LSD-induced,

tactile hallucination called delusional parasitosis.

There seems to be a lack of scientific evidence supporting prolonged infestations, which doesn't

help the case of sufferers' mental health.

In response to one bird bite host on a forum, a person replied, "You should talk to your

doctor about possible causes for your perceptions of biting sensations other than mites or insects."

So, which of these horrifying things is the most horrifying to you?

Tell us why in the comments!

O que é Islã? - 5.3: Predestinação e Pilares do Islã (LEGENDADO) - Duration: 9:04.

The Challenge of Islam

What is Islam? With Sam Shamoun

Lesson 5, Part 3: Predestination and the Pillars of Islam

The final article of faith that I would like to discuss,

the final thing that Muslims are required to believe is in " Qadar

The Arabic term "Qadar",

"Q-A-D-A-R"

also called "TAQDIR",

"T-A-Q-D-I-R".

Now, what is Qadar?

What is Taqdir?

Basically, a roughly translation of these terms in English would be "Predestination".

"Divine preordainment".

According to the Qur'an and the Islamic tradition,

Allah has preordained, predetermined everything that will occur,

and he has even preordained, predetermined, who will go to heaven and who will go to hell.

In fact, even salvation,

even salvation is dependent on the~ preordained, fore-ordained will of Allah.

Even though we have just looked at some passages which clearly said

that a Muslim is saved by faith and works,

when you read those statements in light of what the Qur'an teaches as a whole,

clearly, those who do believe and do good works to merit eternal life

are those who are preordained, fore-ordained by Allah to be saved.

In other words, the only way I can believe and do good works which will merit eternal life

is if Allah has chosen me beforehand for salvation. And if he has,

then he will give me the ability to believe and do the good works meriting eternal life.

In fact, let's look at a statement from the Qur'an which reiterates this point that I'm making.

Chapter 24 verse 21 of the Qur'an.

"O believers, follow not the steps of Satan;

for whosoever follows the steps of Satan,

assuredly he bids to indecency and dishonor.

But for God's bounty to you and His mercy

Not one of you would have been pure ever;

(Unless what again, brother?)

(Repeat that part again, very important. Unless…)

But for God's bounty to you and His mercy

not one of you would have been pure ever;

but God purifies whom He will; and God is all-hearing, All-knowing. (Qur'an 24:21)

Note what it says:

Had it not been for the mercy and grace of Allah,

no person could be purified.

So note, if you read the Qur'an in context,

salvation ultimately rests on the will of Allah to purify you.

This is why the passage goes on to say

'Allah purifies whom he wills'.

He is free to purify some, and not others.

So, ultimately, salvation, in the Islamic context

means Allah has decided out of his own free will,

out of his own kindness,

out of his own mercy to choose you to believe and do good works

in order to merit eternal life.

Jus to give a little history, when Muhammad died, his best friend and companion,

Abu Bakr became the first caliph, the leader of the Muslim community.

When Abu Bakr died, Umar, who was also one of Muhammad's best friends,

Umar ibn al-Khattab took over as the second caliph.

This is Umar's son,

and here, Umar's son says

"In response to those who deny predestination,

tell them I have nothing to do with them".

In other words, you cannot be a true Muslim and deny this concept of fore-ordainment,

you must affirm it, otherwise you are not a Muslim. Continue:

"And verily they are in no way responsible for my (belief).

Abdullah ibn Umar swore by Him (the Lord) (and said):

If any one of them (who does not believe in the Divine Decree)

Had with him gold equal to the bulk of (the mountain) Uhud and then,

It (in the way of Allah),

Allah would not accept it unless he affirmed his faith in Divine Decree. (Sahih Muslim Vol 1 Hadeeth 1)

(Sahih Muslim Vol 1 Hadeeth 1)

So, no matter how much good works you do,

If you deny this concept, Allah will reject you, and you will go to hell.

This is how important this concept is.

And there is a lot more left to the narration, which is important to read:

"He further said: My father, Umar ibn al-Khattab, told me:

One day we were sitting in the company of Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him)

when there appeared before us a man dressed in pure white clothes,

his hair extraordinary black. There were no signs of travel on him.

None amongst us recognized him.

At last he sat with the Apostle (peace be upon him)

He knelt before him placed his palms on his thighs and said:

Muhammad, inform me about al-Islam." (Sahih Muslim Vol 1 Hadeeth 1)

What is the religion of Islam?

Now here is a definition and the summary of what we have discussed in the session.

What I have discussed will be reiterated by this man to Muhammad and Muhammad to this man.

And, according to the tradition, the man who is speaking to Muhammad is angel Gabriel.

So, the articles of faith that I enumerated here will be reiterated in this narration.

What is Islam?

What is the religion of Islam?

"The Messenger of Allah said: Al-Islam implies that you testify

that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah,

(So you must say "there is no god but Allah,

and Muhammad is his messenger to be a Muslim, that is 1)

and you establish prayer,

(you must pray, these are the pillars of Islam,

to be a true Muslim, you must believe certain things and perform certain things.

The first is 'There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is this messenger.

The second thing you must do is pray 5 times a day, Salat. Continue…)

pay Zakat,

(you pay charity, alms giving, and, according to Islam,

you are required to be a Muslim to give 2.5% of any income leftover

after you have paid of your bills.

So you must give 2.5%, and this is an obligation.

So, if you are a true Muslim, you believe and testify "there is no god but Allah,

Muhammad is his messenger, you are to pray 5 times a day,

and give charity, alms giving. Continue...)

observe the fast of Ramadan,

(So, you must fast during the month of Ramadan, once a year.

you must do this if you are a true Muslim. And…).

and perform pilgrimage to the (House).

So, you must travel to Mecca, and circumambulate the holy house

that Muslims believe was first built by Abraham and Ishmael.

According to Islamic tradition, Ishmael settled the Mecca,

and Abraham went to visit him,

and together they built the first house of worship, which is called "the Kaaba".

This "black cube" structure which they believe to be the first house built for worship of God.

If you are a true Muslim, you must travel there once in your life,

if you can afford it,

and perform the rites associated with the pilgrimage. So, you must do this, Hajj,

known as Hajj Go ahead….

"if you are solvent enough (to bear the expense of) the journey.

He (the inquirer) said: You have told the truth. He (Umar ibn al-Khattab) said:

It amazed us that he would put the question

and then he would himself verify the truth. He (the inquirer) said:

Inform me about Iman.

(Iman means faith.

Now, he told them what is Islam, what is it you do,

and he told him what a Muslim must do.

Now, what must a Muslim believe?

He is going to reiterate what I have been discussing in this session. Continue…)

He (the Holy prophet) replied: That you affirm your faith in Allah,

In His angels,

(In his angels. You must believe Allah, his angels…)

in His books, (His books…)

in His Apostles, (yep)

In the Day of Judgment,

and you affirm your faith in the Divine Decree about good and evil.

(Note that is what I have been discussing,

Here, in this one narration,

Muhammad reiterates the very points that I have been discussing.

To be a true Muslim you must believe that there is only one god,

you must believe in angels and jinn,

you must believe in books that Allah has sent down,

you must believe in prophets and messengers,

you must believe in the last day,

and you must believe in divine predestination.

Muhammad also said that you must perform certain things,

such as saying "there is no god but Allah, Muhammad is his messenger,

praying 5 times a day, giving alms, giving to charity,

performing a pilgrimage to Mecca, what is known as the Hajj,

and the rites associated with this pilgrimage,

fasting once a year in the month of Ramadan,

and also, which is not mentioned here, performing Jihad,

which I will be discussing in the second session.

So, this is Islam in a nutshell.

This is what a Muslim must believe and what a Muslim must do

If he is a true Muslim, according to what the Qur'an says

and the so-called authentic narrations of attributed to Muhammad.

This is Islam 1 on 1.

The fear of "Good Negro Government" 🤦🏿 [Book Review] - Duration: 4:38.

Hey, so I read We Were Eight Years in Power by Ta-Nehisi Coates

And this book ties up so many loose ends in the American narrative

And it's probably the most comprehensive explanation for why we can't have nice things

This is the collection of essays that chronicles three distinct eight-year periods, the eight years of Obama's presidency,

The simultaneous eight years that Coates transitioned from unemployment to becoming one of America's leading public

intellectuals and the lingering effects of the eight years of

reconstruction in which black people's achievements in "Good Negro Government" was curtailed by an uprising of white supremacy

Coates accompanies each essay with commentary on the context and the intention behind what he was writing and whether he found himself to be

successful or not. Essays like American girl in which he pens a profile of First Lady Michelle Obama, to The Case for Reparations

which sent shockwaves through our national discourse and

Undoubtedly thrusted Coates into the realm of celebrity whether he was ready or wanting for it

There's a great deal to appreciate about this book firstly

I learned that if I read certain passages in the voice of rappers

I retain the information better. "Having preserved the Union and saved white workers from competing with slave labor the North could

magnanimously acquiesce to such Confederate meretriciousness and the concomitant

irrelevance of the country's blacks

Word. Word.

Secondly, I

appreciated the glimpse into how his career has been encouraged and sustained by so many people from his father to his editor his wife the

Atlantic and if I dare say so the legion of readers like myself

Who have come to regard his voice with a certain familiarity and trust. Then there was the unusual tense and somewhat hilarious

Rapport that he developed with President Obama

But perhaps the most visceral

Experience from me in this book was the presence of Shirley Sherrod. In the summer of 2010 the conservative website

Breitbart posted an edited video of Sherrod then a public official of the Department of Agriculture

Which appeared to show Sherrod telling an audience at an NAACP

meeting that she had racially discriminated against a white farmer in the state of Georgia

Not only was the clip taken out of context

But the irony is that the intention of her entire speech was to share her story of how she learned that

Work as a civil servant had to be approached from the advocacy of those in poverty and not necessarily along the lines of race

as the administration would have it Sherrod was immediately called to turn in a letter of resignation via her blackberry and

When the truth surfaced, even though she was offered a position back in the department, the damage had already been done

It's amazing that an administration so tepid on yet singularly defined by race

Would sacrifice a public servant who had spent her career?

fighting for civil rights whose father and cousin were

murdered in acts of racial violence

And who at the end of the day didn't want to do anything that would hurt the president

And I guess it resonated so deeply for me because it feels eerily

Foreshadowing or reflective of our current reality and in a lot of ways Sherrod was the first public career

Casualty of our present hell of fake news Breitbart and America's inability to listen to black women

This is without a doubt the most important book

I've read this year it encouraged me to be more introspective

With my own blind spots on how we discuss and understand race in America and it empowered me to look for

Opportunities where I could go from just saying what I stand for and actually standing for it and most importantly it shifted my focus

from feeling boxed in or marginalized to

Seeing that even from the box that I've tried to deny or defy

I have a vantage point that hasn't been readily scoped out by the powers or the privileged that be if you haven't read this yet

definitely visit your library or your local bookstore and pick it up before the end of the year the

Perspective the honesty and the intimacy offered on these pages may not be intended as hopeful

but my goodness

May it make us better and more engaged

citizens for the coming storms of tomorrow in which we fight and choose wisely for a more perfect union

One in which we will sense of black women the first time. And if you've already read it drop a line in the comments below

With your thoughts on the collection, your favorite pieces, and any important takeaways as always

Thank you so much for watching. And until next time remember to read or be read. I'll talk to you soon. Bye

If you put love into each day,

each day is different.

What's more important:

manual or intellectual work?

Whichever is done with more love of God.

Yours should be a job well-done.

Nothing shoddy - I don't know if you use the word "shoddy" here.

When you really love a woman,

you don't give her as a gift something cheap.

You give her something that requires a sacrifice.

Well, with God Our Lord, if we want to offer our work to Him,

it needs to be well-done,

with passion,

relishing our work,

and in this way, you also earn a living

and improve your family's situation.

But above all, to please God.

Because work is prayer also,

and work dignifies a person.

Your work is prayer.

Your work done with enthusiasm and for love,

- as well as for the joy of earning money, why not? -

is also penance.

Isn't it penitential for you some days?

For me it is...

Talk to Him! Talk to Our Lord,

say "I'm tired! I can't take this anymore!"

"Lord, this isn't coming out right. How would you do it?"

I am a chauffeur for a company

Make sure to do it well, conscientiously,

In such a way that Our Lord is happy with you.

And you will take a step forward on your path to heaven.

And one day you'll get there,

you'll drive your car right up to paradise.

We should be upright,

strong, serving Our Lord in the middle of the street,

In the middle of our work,

being a good friend to your friends,

as well as an example for your colleagues

Love for the truth embues the life and work of the scientist.

It allows him to hold his head high

before the uncomfortable situations that can arise

because having a commitment to honesty

is not always favorable with the public opinion.

Father, I study journalism.

I have a lot of affection for journalists.

I have recommended that they speak the truth.

And this is very difficult

because for a thousand circumstances,

many times one can only say it half-way

so as not to bother this person or that other one...

But you, make sure to never lie

and never defend an unjust cause.

Why is it a serious obligation to study and work?

My son, do you want us to be lazy?

We have to live on this earth

and each one supports himself with his own efforts.

So students and young people need to study, ok?

What can I do so that my study brings me closer to Our Lord?

Offer your work, your study

and the day you don't feel like it, with more enthusiasm.

And don't be ashamed to take out your little crucifix

to place on top of your desk.

I am a mother of a family, a housewife,

and I work in public relations.

How does one achieve a balance

and maintain a supernatural spirit

in the midst of all this?

Well you can have public and private relations

with God Our Lord.

Look for Him in your heart.

Draw near to our Heavenly Father.

Tell Him that you love Him.

Tell Him many times during the day.

While you are doing public relations on earth,

you're doing public relations for Heaven.

Go everywhere.

In all places where

an upright person can live,

there we find air to breath.

There we should be with our joy

with our interior peace,

hoping to bring many souls to Christ.

Father,

we have heard your teachings many times

respecting the value of our profesional work.

I have children.

I see them very little during the week.

What do you recommend I do to attend to them better?

My son, I would advise you

to consider being with your children

as your number one job.

To offer to God during the day your professional work

in such a way that it pleases Him,

each day you will do it better.

With more rectitude, with more effort

with more feeling

thinking not only in yourself and your family,

but in the whole society, in the others.

Sometimes, one finds oneself, let's say,

with many tasks accumulated during the day

such that some jobs trample over other ones.

It will happen to you, son of my soul,

the same thing that happens to everyone that works

that each day you will need 24 hours extra

such that you will always finish the day with many things left undone.

Don't worry, keep calm.

And after finishing one thing, start another one,

with peace, as if you only had that one thing to do.

Don't think about the rest, finish well what you are currently doing.

I work for the security of a big shopping center.

How can I have patience with the people,

attending to everyone with Christian charity?

You are a great Christian if you smile always.

God bless you.

But don't smile just to make yourself more amiable,

nor in order to sell more things,

but rather, out of love for Jesus Christ

because you know that you have the duty to contribute

to happiness of everyone else.

It's only just that the person who works

earns money.

And it is only just that you use this money well,

first of all, for your family, for your home, etc.

But Our Lord wants you to be generous.

Our Lord does not want you to be greedy.

So you need to make a little effort.

You need to think of God,

and for God, everyone else.

In a laboratory,

in the operating room of a hospital,

in the barracks,

in the university department,

in the factory,

in the workshop,

in the fields,

in the family home,

and in all the immense panorama of work,

God... awaits us each day.

On the horizon,

children,

heaven and earth seem to merge,

but no.

Where they really meet

is in your hearts

when you sanctify

your everyday lives.

Get Ready With Me (GRWM)| Motherhood Tag - Duration: 12:22.

Hi guys welcome back to our channel if you are new to our channel

We are the Moody's and we post videos on Monday Wednesday and Friday

And if you are in the darling clan then welcome back

This is going to be a get ready with me video slash

Motherhood tag um I saw a nother

Youtuber she's a mommy. She's super awesome. She is really about kind of giving back to

The environment and the people around her her name or her YouTube handle is Rebecca rah

Rebecca's raw the logs

I'll go ahead and leave her information in the description box below

I love watching her videos, and she's a great person to watch if you want to watch YouTube

But you don't have a lot of time because she keeps her videos very concise and very kind of to the point

But she's also really real and rants didn't mean to go ahead and give you guys her whole life

But go ahead and go sorry. There's a bug in here

Go ahead and go check out her channel um and let's get into this get ready with me

Now I don't know what this camera does, but it's somehow smooths over my skin

So you can't see it as well, but you might be able to see it up close

my skin is

Trash right now. It's so bad. I

Haven't been

Taking care of myself the way

I should be I'm just priming right now with the elf as soon as I find that there. We go the elf primer

But I haven't been taking care of myself the way, I should be and you have just been

allowing myself to like

eat whatever I feel like eating within reason like I still eat generally plant-based, but

You know I'm eating Oreos and

Cereal and other stuff that I don't necessarily need to be putting into my body on top of the fact that I drink

So much coffee so much coffee and

Not a lot of water

so

I'm going to fix that I promise but in the meantime

We're gonna beat this face because I am going to be filming another video

After this for you all for Monday. I don't know when you'll see this one, but this one will come out

Monday

this might come out Monday as well, but we'll see um I

Don't know why my foundations always look super yellow like in

this camera like they always look crazy, yellow, and I feel like I'm just not gonna use that I'm gonna use this um I

Feel like I should get into the tag. Yeah, let's get into the tech first question on the tag is what surprised you about

motherhood flea like it's

surprising

Seeing your children like do things that you do so the first time I saw Natalia do some thing

that was

similar to things that I do I kinda like freaked out because

Yeah, like you just don't expect

Them to do things that you do especially because my kids kind of look more like shit

or I think they look more like chick than they look like me go ahead and leave in the comments below like

Who you think looks more like who um?

But

Yeah um

It's surprising because they look they don't look a lot like me I think but when they act like me

It's like oh, that's like my kid

That's for sure my baby. So that was surprising

The

Second question is what do you love most about being a mom and?

I feel like you can't really ask a mom that question like

What?

Do I love most about being a mom I could probably tell you what I liked least about being a mom

but what I loved most I mean, I just I love my kids most um I

Love who they are I love who they're becoming as people. It's um

Yeah, it's it's cool seeing them kind of grow as

human beings and turn into like who they're gonna be and

Seeing their personality traits and even being able to look back now knowing who they are

and think back to

when they were infants and how they even kind of showed their personalities at that time so Natalia when she was

maybe

around four months she kind of started doing things to get you to laugh and to get you to react and

She really enjoyed

Enjoying things about people like she was always very

emotionally aware

um

Even now she's still really emotionally aware, and she's very she's an FF and

Even as an infant she was like that and it's cool seeing how she's still that in john-mark

He was very

Like he's just very himself. He's super independent. He doesn't like help at all so even as an infant

He was like trying to hold the bottle and like his body couldn't do it because it wasn't ready

But he really wanted to be able to hold the bottle so I think it's cook

That's probably the thing I love most is seeing like

Who they are?

The foundation, I'm using is fit to me

This guy and it is

3:30 toffee if you can see that I look

no nothin 3:30 topping question 3

What if anything would you change?

I

Think that

The thing that I would change most not isn't really about like parent parenting

But I would probably change the fact that I didn't start my youtube channel before

Um in a very real way. I always feel really

not sad, but like I

Regret that I didn't have a channel and that I didn't have the courage to start a channel because when I look back at people's

videos of like them in birth and they're documenting their pregnancy

and I

Want that and I'm not gonna have another kid to get that so I just kind of have to like live with the fact that

You know I I didn't do that

question for

How are you different from your own mother I

Think

That in

a

Very funny way, I'm becoming more like my mom than I was before

So it's it's odd. I don't know how I'm different or how our parenting styles are different

Yeah, I mean, I think the only thing that generally makes it different as I'm home with my kids all the time um

Whereas my mom did work outside of the home?

Sometimes like her job was very flexible so she was there a lot

and if we needed her she would stay home things like that but

as far as like

Being home home like often um I'm you know

home more often than she is

Because that's just what we value also. I'm planning on homeschooling um or I am homeschooling and

You know we all went to public school, so

Yeah, I guess those are ways that were different, but not that much

Question what am I on five five?

What had been the most difficult part about being a mother I

Think the most difficult part is

not like

Beating myself up a lot of the times because I'm a stay-at-home mom I can feel

like

Like I don't contribute to the family and that you know can make me feel sad I mean

Granted, I just got like a little super little part-time job, and um you know I'm doing that

But I just I don't know it's different because yeah like you see moms who are like

Working outside the home, and they're literally like supermom like

Like they're going to work they're coming home then they're working with her kids, and it's it's a lot and um

you know

They're wow that's let's defuse that okay?

um

Yeah, so I guess I?

would you know like the most difficult part is like myself and getting out of my head and

Feeling like you know I'm not good enough or comparing myself to other moms

question

6 and the last question

What words of wisdom do you have for other moms I?

think that the

Or words of wisdom the first thing that I would say first is

Find a really good support system because motherhood is hard whether that be support through your spiritual life

Whether that be support through your family and friends, or you know going to support groups

Motherhood is hard, and I think you need that

Support to help you get through it and without it it can be

Really hard to kind of overcome the challenges and difficulties of motherhood

And then my second bit of advice is

to trust your instincts

I'm a huge

advocate for

Mommies trusting their instincts and not the instincts of another mom what works for you will not work for another mother

per se and vice versa what works for another mom might not work for you and your family or even your beliefs in your

conscience so

You know there are topics around that are very

sensitive to other mothers and

That's okay

but you

need to be

Confident in what you believe and what you want to do in the vision that you have for your kids and their future

Obviously you know eat the fish spit out the bones

Because there might be something that someone says and you may have never thought of it before

but

In

Knowing that you can think about like okay?

How does this apply and then?

Anything that doesn't apply to that just chuck it. You don't have to feel like you have to listen to

every single thing every single mom says you're gonna be confused and hurt and

tired from trying to please everybody so

That's my words of wisdom and this is time at the end of this tag so go ahead and the video here with

Just my face done. I'm probably just gonna add a little mascara and some sort of lip situation

but if you like this video go ahead and hit the subscribe button so that you miss any other videos from us and

I guess we'll see you in the next one

How to Paint Mandalas with Acrylics # 10 - Turkish Eye - Duration: 4:46.

Hello, welcome to my channel

today we are going to make a mandala

inspired by the Turkish eye

Materials: acrylic paints colors, black, calypso blue, nautical blue and white. Tools to make the points. White pencil. Canvas 15x15 centimeters painted blue.

we start by dividing our canvas

in 8 parts

the colors we are going to use are

White

blue calypso

blue nautical with a droplet of black to darken it

and black

we start with a large dark blue dot in the center

now we will make a light blue dot

on each of the guide lines

and now a dot between the other dots

now slightly larger white dots between light blue dots

and larger dark blue dots between white dots

now very small dots between the dots we have made

now a large dark blue dot above each of the guide lines

and now small dots around light blue

and the same as we have done previously

but now with the white color and then with the dark blue

now we make big dots

and now dots around

first with the light blue color

then with the white color

and finally with the dark blue color

now we will make 4 big dots dark blue

one on each corner above the guide lines

we continue to make dots around

first with the light blue color

then with the white color

and finally with the dark blue color

now V-shaped dots

using the same order of colors that we have used throughout the process

light blue, white and dark blue

now 2 dots light blue

and a small dark blue dot between them

and now a white dot below

Now 3 small dark blue dots below

and 4 more forming a line

and here a little dark blue dot under the white

once the paint is dry

we make a white dot above the center dot

of a smaller size

we will continue to make white dots

above the big dots

dark blue

and when the white paint is dry

a light blue dot above all the white dots we've done previously

and now that the light blue paint is dry

we make a black dot on top of all the light blue dots we've done previously

I hope you liked the video a lot

and see you next time

see you soon

bye

Thanks for watching my videos.

Horrifying Things That Can Be Living Inside Us - Duration: 6:56.

Also, be sure to check out our other video called Illegal Things that You Do Every Day!

good vegetable for you and zu starts with the letter Z Z oh oh that's how you

spell zu hey there's an animal that starts with the letter Z and you can

find him at the zoo let's see if we can figure out which animal starts with the

letter Z gorillas

🐛 Jade Pettyjohn, Ricardo Hurtado & More Try 'Haunted Halloween Taste Test' 🎃 | Nick - Duration: 3:15.

-Eww! -Eww!

What's up, guys? I'm Ricardo and this is the Haunted Halloween Taste Test!

- I'm so nervous! - I don't trust any of you guys!

[maniacal laughing]

A c... Cockroaches, are you serious?

- A stuffed cockroach. - Yeah.

Fun fact about me, my biggest fear is cockroaches.

- Do I have to eat it? - Yeah.

Oh, no you didn't!

Eugh!

Oh, this looks like a bug.

Is that like chicken leg? Are these like tiny chicken legs?

Eww, ooh.

This isn't a cockroach.

Wait a second, I don't know actually.

Eww.

I don't wanna eat it.

- Oh, that's nasty. - I'm just gonna...

- Oh, that's really gross. - Eww!

Ah!

Whatever, you just gotta do it sometimes.

[crunching]

Oh.

Not that bad!

OK, so that's actually pretty good.

It's kinda gross, there's something inside of it.

I actually love stuffed cockroaches, what the heck?

Is this actually a cockroach?

'Cause it's not that bad if it is.

I was terrified of that one, but this turned out to be fantastic.

Swell.

[music playing]

Eugh!

Oh man, these are real maggots?

Those aren't real!

Yeah, the bottom part's definitely cupcake.

I don't wanna eat this.

Let's do a little sniffing.

Here, watch this.

It's like ripping off a band aid!

OK.

Eww, that's weird.

It smelled bad but it tastes good.

Doesn't taste like maggots, that's good.

A worm cupcake, delicious.

I'm just gonna eat a maggot, why not?

[laughing]

Not bad.

[music playing]

I am so down to do a zombie taco.

I'm excited about this one.

I am a fan of tacos.

Eugh!

Something weird on the inside!

Well, here goes nothing.

Watch, this will actually be like dog food or something.

Oh, no I don't like that.

I did not like the zombie meat taco.

It just tastes weird.

Yeah, that's good, I give that a 10 out of 10.

Take that back, it's a 9 out of 10.

[music playing]

A rat tail?

Rat tails?

I might as well, I mean I already ate a cockroach, so...

Let's see how I feel about rat tails.

Bring it in, bring it in, boys!

[gasping]

Oh fun!

Alright.

Oh, that smells bad.

Love me some rat tails.

- Eww. - Ahh.

Gotta dip it in the juice.

Well, here we go.

[crunching]

Eww!

I don't love that.

Oh, it's not that bad.

[rat squealing]

[laughing]

And that was the Haunted Halloween Taste Test!

Who knew cockroaches were pretty good?

Mmm, that was the stuff!

I was kinda like nervous for some of them but it actually wasn't that bad.

Thanks for watching.

Nexum Linka: Airplay in the car - Duration: 7:18.

I usually don't do car stereo but in my quest to get reasonable sound quality in my

car, I found a solution you - as music lover - might also like as an alternative for Bluetooth:

Airplay uncompressed.

This was the problem I had: with my new car, would I go for A2DP Bluetooth or just plug

the headphone output of my iPhone 6 into the audio input of my car stereo.

A2DP Bluetooth was the third option but on my car the upgrade was relatively expensive

while the SBC codec of the A2DP Bluetooth protocol - the one used for stereo audio - didn't

appeal to me.

Not that it would be a bad codec, to judge that I would have had to evaluate it thoroughly.

But the idea that the AAC coded music on my iPhone was decoded to be coded again in SBC

wasn't a nice one.

Two different codecs, both having their own rules for throwing away information, might

lead to a very unpleasant sound, as research had shown already years ago.

So I chose the option to use cables - for a short while.

Not the most attractive option either since I had to run wires from the glove box to the

iPhone. Then I thought I might be able to program a Raspberry Pi as a Wifi access point and

install Shairpoint, a program to let the Raspberry Pi function as an Airplay station.

Googling for a ready to use image that did just that, I came across the Nexus Linka.

The Linka measures about 85 x 50 x 15 millimetre and weighs about nothing, slightly over 50

grams.

On one end two cables come out, one ending in a USB connector for powering and one in

a 3.5 millimetre jack that does the audio output.

There are no controls apart from a reset button hidden behind a very tiny hole.

The second hole holds the blue status led of which the manual only says that it will

blink when functioning.

Just stick the USB plug into a USB power socket in the car and the audio jack into the Aux

input of your car stereo.

In my case the aux in is in the glove box, together with a 12 volt cigaret lighter socket.

So I had to use an adapter to the 5 volts USB socket.

Since the power socket in the glove box is switched on and off by the ignition key, the

Linka is automatically switched on and off too.

When switched on it takes about 7 seconds to boot after which a Wifi access point becomes

available.

You simply log your smartphone on to it and - in the music player program you use - select

it as Airplay station.

Since Airplay uses lossless compression, no quality is lost by another codec.

According to the manufacturers information it is also possible to connect with an Android

phone and use DLNA for playback.

There are also programs that enable airplay on Android devices.

Convenience wise the Linka isn't as comfortable as Bluetooth A2DP.

Where Bluetooth automatically connects and even starts playback, with the Linka you do

need to start the player and select the Linka as Airplay output.

But since it boots within seven seconds, it's probably ready before you have buckled up.

On the other hand, only the music playing is heard over the car speakers and not the

bleeps and other sounds a smartphone might make.

For phone calls you can still use the car's bluetooth and the Navigon software I use also

uses Bluetooth for driving instructions.

Since I only wants to use it in the car, I didn't try it on one of the stereo setups

I normally use.

Although you could link the Linka to your home wifi network, it is intended to be used

as access point.

In the car the unit surprised my since it sounded more open and better in control than

the iPhone's headphone output connected over a cable to the same aux in.

That might sound strange but a headphone output is not necessarily the best to drive a line

input as where the Wolfson WM8988 DAC chip used offers proper line outputs.

Some say that the DAT causes the better sound.

Of course if the DAC isn't good, the sound would be bad.

But the difference between the DAC in the iPhone and the Linka can't cause such a

difference.

There are no hick-ups or other nasties, it works stable and sounds great.

Is this a true review??

No.

I just came across a good solution for in my car and thought it would be nice to share

since I like it.

It was the only device I could find, but there might be others around and they might even

be better and for less money.

But at just under 90 euros I find it a very fine solutions.

There are people that don't like the fact the Wifi access is not password protected.

Others might not like the fact that you have to switch over the iPhone to the Linka.

But who will break into the Linka, what damage can be done and how much trouble is it to

tap the Airplay icon and select the Linka?

It does improve the sound in the car compared to using the headphone output.

🔥 SIZZLING HOT! Seared Conscience | Biblical Metaphors | 1 Timothy 4:2 - Duration: 6:43.

"Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the

faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons speaking lies in

hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to

marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God has created to be

received with Thanksgiving by those who believe and know the Truth. For every

creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with

Thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the Word of God and prayer. 1 Timothy 4:1-5

Hey it's Rachel! Today on Crack Your Bible, I wanted to

talk to you about a Bible metaphor and today I wanted to talk about a seared

conscience, because I was inspired by a question that I saw online - not written

to me - but they said "I feel like I've committed to apostasy and I'm afraid

that I have a seared conscience. What do I do?" Now let me just show you what a

"seared conscience" would look like because I feel like a lot of Christians

may worry about this. And if you're worried about having a seared conscience,

you don't have a seared conscience. So let's just take a sausage for example.

Now one... well actually, ignore this gross knife because I don't use this butter

for anything else; don't worry about it. But we're going to have two pieces of

sausage; one we are going to sear or burn with a hot iron, and the other one we are

going to leave left untouched. Now when somebody has a seared conscience, what

that means is their conscience, their mind, has completely hardened. When you

sear something, you are cooking the proteins so they tighten up. The protein

bundles will tighten up and it forms a tough exterior, so as it hardens

over time, it will just become tougher, and tougher, and tougher. I'm sure all of

you have had a piece of steak or a piece of meat, and if it's overcooked, there's not

a sauce that you can put on it - it is going to be dry, and gross, and hard. and

there's nothing that you can do to fix this piece of meat. So that is what a

seared conscience is like - it's completely burnt.

It has nothing... nothing can fix it. It has decided "nope! I am rejecting God. I

don't care if God in the flesh comes down, I am NOT going to believe it1

I refuse!" That's like the Pharisees - they saw Jesus doing miracles and what did

they say? "Oh this man is full of demons" instead of

recognizing who Jesus was or that the Holy Spirit was working through Him.

So they've hardened their own hearts, their conscience is seared, it is

completely not open to the things of God. They will make up their own rules

because they are listening to demons. They have completely seared off their

conscience and you can see side-by-side a seared piece of meat and a non-seared

piece of meat. Which one will absorb the Word of God? For example, if you were

going to marinate a piece of meat, which one is going to absorb the marinade? Is

it going to be the one that's uncooked, or is it going to be the piece of meat

that is seared? Obviously it's going to be the uncooked piece of meat, and that

is representative of somebody who is open to the Word of God, somebody who is

ruminating or meditating on the Word of God. A seared conscience is one where

somebody says, "nope! I don't care. No matter what, I'm not going to follow

Jesus. I'm completely opposed to God and it doesn't

matter what you show me, I don't believe it!" I'm sure you guys all know people out

there like that. But not only that, if you are worried about having a seared

conscience, you don't have a seared conscience. Because everybody sins, that's

just part of living in a fallen world and being a human. But if you are open to

the things of God, if you're opening yourself up to the Holy Spirit - even if

you're not necessarily a believer, you will feel remorseful because

inherently you know what you're doing is wrong. If you're a Christian, the Holy

Spirit will convict you of your sin and you will feel bad about it.

A person with the seared conscience - they don't care. They don't listen to the Holy

Spirit. They're not open to the Holy Spirit and they will habitually sin and

it will not bother them at all. They're not sitting around worried about "do I

have a seared conscience" because they have a seared conscience. If you worry

about having a seared conscience, you don't! You clearly feel convicted of sin

that you can repent of; you're open to the things of God. I would encourage you

to listen to those feelings - if you feel bad about something, repent of it!

It's okay, but if you have a seared conscience, there's nothing that will

change your mind. There are people - it does not matter if God comes to them in

the flesh - they will reject God and that's what a seared conscience is. I

hope that explains it for you. I hope you will like, subscribe & share, and I will

talk to you later. Bye!

Downsizing Shoes & Jackets - DECLUTTER with Me I Small Entrance Space - Duration: 15:54.

Hey guys and welcome to my hallway! As you can see it's a big mess, it's not a

very big space and it's about time that we do something about it, so my plan for

today is I want to go through all our jackets, all of our shoes and I want to

try and figure out - I bought these shoe boxes over here that I can use to store

shoes and probably some of Max's stuff as well so I want to try and see how

much we can fit in there without it being cramped and then possibly hang a few

more hangers in here or really just really go through our jackets and find

out what we actually need. Because this mess right here is stressing me out

What I want to do is go through everything and then create this beautiful entrance

space and I actually want to redo it I want to put some wallpaper up and paint

some things and just like make it this really nice welcoming space so today I'm

gonna organize everything and then in the next video I want to do a complete

remodel of this little space here, so let's get started!

Over here we have a whole bunch of jackets some of them are seasonal things and they're probably

just gonna have to be put in storage behind our bed that's what I usually do

this year for some reason I just never put the winter jackets away which means

that they've been out here for the whole entire summer! It has been kind of a bad

summer weather wise but still not a good excuse so..

This one is my new rain jacket

and I'm gonna keep that and that replaced this jacket

This one's my old jacket and I've wanted to find a replacement for that for ages

and I finally did I recently bought this one as a kind of like spring and fall

jacket so that's definitely staying. This is my practical mom jacket.

And over here, this is my winter jacket and since winter is coming up I can't really get rid of that now

So that's staying as well.

These poofy winter jackets for cold climate are really tricky because they take up so much space!

This is Morten's.

This is my leather jacket it's a spring jacket a summer jacket but

I'm not really feeling it I don't know why so I might just store it till this

summer and see if I want to wear it and if not then probably sell it

This is Morten's winter jacket and I know he's definitely keeping that

My fall vest that I just bought when we were in Florida and I loved it but I was almost

30 pounds heavier back then and it does not fit anymore it's like a big tent so

that's gonna have to go to the thrift store I definitely need my raincoat and

rain pants because it rains a lot in Denmark but I don't need it out all the

time so this is one of those items that I really want to find space for over in the storage bins

Morten's jacket that's his summer jacket so he

probably doesn't need that right now I'll put that in storage. His leather jacket!

These ones he usually use in the summer

just for variety and he actually also have this one so they're all kind of for

the same purpose so I'll probably just lay these out for him and let him choose

and then hopefully we can get rid of one of them. Here's my rain jacket

Saving that one. And then we have Max's items so we have this little ski suit

for winter, thermal pants.

For when we go play outside. He's at a friend's house right

now so his jacket and his rain pants are actually there so that means two more

items for him and these are some of the items that I really want to fit in the

shoe bins as well so that's what I'm hoping for

okay let's tackle some of all that other junk that's in here that does not belong

in the hallway okay so all this and there's a whole other box over there is just

stuff that needs to go mainly into my workshop one closet I made a separate

video on that one closet at one point so I'll link that up here so you can see

where I store all my tools and paints but basically most of this stuff is just

gonna have to fit in there as well so I think it's safe to say that I can just

take this whole thing and pop it in there and then I'll just have to fit

that in there just... yeah just paints and tools basically maybe I'll be able to

use some of this paint for this room actually that would be great!

One pair of shoes

We have a bike helmet that has to fit in here, this is a stove for the camper

so we need to move that out there this is a rain cover for the baby carriage we

might sell that thing, because Max doesn't really like to sleep in it

But that goes in there

Huh! I thought we got rid of this thing which is really proof

that I need to fix this area because I hate those areas to just become kind of

catch it all and they become so overwhelming that they just kind of

swallow everything up and you don't know what's in there anymore this one is for

the car a mosquito net for the stroller definitely holding on to that a random

hanger this whole box is actually things that either belong in the car or just

have to do with the car and I might have Morten to sort through this and maybe we

can dedicate one area in the shoe department area for all these things

because obviously we need them somewhere and we need them close by the car at

least and so that might be a good option but I have to ask him about that and

then I'll let you know what we come up with

An old bag.. Morten might not agree with this, but we have so many bags and I think I'm just

gonna go ahead and get rid of this one because it's always just lying around

and that just the shape of it it doesn't fit anywhere it's either too high too

wide it just doesn't work, so.. Sorry Morten!

And a random extension cord

Okay let me put some of that stuff away real fast and then we can keep moving now you

may not think that this amount of shoe seems like a lot and it isn't a lot if

that were our only shoes I would be really happy but it's not

we have shoes stored other places as well so let's bring out all of the shoes

This is the door to our apartment and behind that door we already have one of

these shoe box elements that's why we just purchased a few more of those so

they would all go together, but we actually have some shoes in here as well, mainly my

shoes down here... My heels

And this one is all Max's items we didn't really know

where to put them and they're all so small so we just needed them out of the

way and they just fit in here!

And then over here we have hats and scarves and the

same up in the top one but I'm not gonna be going through that right now because

I already did that a while back and I'll link that video up in the cards as well

Above the door we are more storage

I think that's about it except for this one pair of stinky shoes. Now this is a way more

realistic and painful picture of how chaotic this entranceway has actually

been I can't believe we have this many shoes and we are already trying

consciously to limit our items so I can't even conceive of how many shoes

people who are not conscious about it must have because this is insane

Let's get started! These are Morten's winter boots and I

know he'll be keeping those and he might use them soon I really want to get rid

of that over the door storage I just I don't like walking under something that

kind of feels like it's pushing me down so if I can come get rid of these

completely I'll be happy! These are his nice work shoes

My old winter boots and it's time to get a new pair these have done a good job but..

It's time to go! These shoes if you watch my travel vlogs you can see that I've worn

these hundreds of times on all of our travels but they actually have holes in

them and the water is coming in so I think it might be time to find a new

pair high-heeled pair of shoes you just just don't really like anymore I haven't

used them in two years I don't think these ones I actually really like and

but the heel is completely torn up and broken I might look into if it's worth

it to just have these fixed if they can't be fixed for a reasonable amount

of money then I'll probably keep these because I like them they're just classic

black stiletto so keeping those these ones on the other hand are not staying

there actually travel souvenirs I bought them in Monaco when we had to go into

the Montecarlo to play in the casino and you had to wear high heels so I bought

these and I have used them but I just don't like them anymore

So... bye! I don't really know what to do about these ones I don't remember if

they fit let's check it

They do fit so we might keep them so I can use them or Morten can use them or

guests can use them in the winter when it gets kind of cold these are my fall

and spring boots and they need to be cleaned out and stuff but because I've

used them a lot I use them during winter as well as like nice winter boots so

what I need to replace are the practical winter boots for snow and that kind of

stuff, these ones I'm definitely keeping I love

them I have my boots they might only last one more year but I really like the

way they feel inside so I'm sticking with them and then replacing them my

sandals this actually hurts a little bit I have so many memories with traveling

and wearing these sandals and I love them but they're just completely broken

I don't think I can fix these and it might be time to go sandal shopping this

summer but I'm really dreading that I don't like it I have big feet for a

woman and it's just difficult to find something that fits and looks good and

that's comfortable so I might hang on to these in case we go somewhere warm

during the winter and then find sandals because if I go to Southern Europe or

Asia or anywhere I will not be able to find sandals my size I pretty much have

to stay in Scandinavia to get shoes that fit so that's why it difficult for me to

get rid of them I'll keep them for now and then I'll be on the lookout for new

sandals I bought these ones but they're actually really horrible to wear I don't

know why I bought them they're probably just a little bit too small it's kind of

sad but bye! Okay and then for Max's items we have winter boots for him and

we have two pairs these ones and these ones this one is for the beginning of

winter and the other ones are a little bit bigger so that might be for the end of winter

Winter here stretches till at least March so we'll be needing these

for quite a few months and his little feet they grow fast

I experienced that the other day when I tried to fit his feet into these ones.

They're size 19 I don't know what that is in American size I tried to squish his

little foot in there and it just did not want to go in so it's time for these to

move on so sad for his first real kind of shoes that he wore that he could walk in.

I bought this pair of boots but they're way too big so I'm gonna have to find a

smaller pair and then save these for summer so these are gonna be put in his

room in his drawer because there's space in there for the next kind of sizes so

these go in there. His little sandals and he wore in Barcelona they're so cute

I don't know if he'll be able to use them again but they are a few sizes up

so we might be able to use them longer these are my kind of everyday

nice shoes that I wear pretty much all the time so I'm definitely keeping those

okay so this is my stuff I have these one pair of workout shoes and I don't

really know what to do with them I have had a few times where it's actually been

handy to have them but they're not super good, Morten might use them I don't know

I'll have to ask him I just found out that I actually still have this pair of

shoes and they replaced this pair of shoes so I completely forgot about these

but these are newer and they give better support so if Morten doesn't want these

then they're definitely going I can't believe I completely forgot that I have

these that's how much I workout guys! Morten's shoes are difficult I'm not gonna

be hard on his shoes because I know that he uses these, he uses these.. These are

falling apart so I don't know what's up with that but they might have some kind

of value to him anyway so I'm just gonna put them in here then you have slippers

and we can only find one of them max where's the other one he has its workout

shoes for outside and running so he probably doesn't need two pair of shoes either

But I don't want to get rid of his shoes, and he has these as well and his boots

I think that's pretty much it, these are roller skates that we might keep. This is kind of

Morten's department as well so I'm just gonna stick them to one side and ask him

when he gets back and then probably find somewhere else to

store them because they don't really fit in these containers so I think we did

pretty good and we just need to find space for bike helmets raincoats the

hats and scarves and that's about it but it's still pretty chaotic out here so

I'm gonna try and just go through everything and see if it fits in these ones

So I got rid of two whole boxes of the shoes and jackets that I don't use and I

don't need or needs to be replaced in some way or other I think that's pretty

good this is only my stuff and one pair of Max's boots and then I haven't

touched Morten's stuff yet so I'm hoping that he'll get rid of at least one pair

maybe two that would be really nice because then we can actually manage it

out here I think this amount will be doable and then we'll kind of take it

from there but I think this is pretty good I can't

believe how much stuff I had out here and shoes are just kind of some of those

items that pile up it's just like one pair of the time they sneak in

everywhere so I'm really curious to know how do you handle your shoes like how

often do you go through them are you really good at just getting them out of

your hallway out of your life when they don't fit or you don't use them anymore

because I feel like a lot of times they just kind of get shoved to the back so

it's something you really have to make an effort to remember to do because I

just keep forgetting and I just pass it I would go into the apartment and then I

don't see the shoes so you might be better at this than me but let me know

down in the comments how do you handle shoes that don't belong in your house

anymore that's it for this week's video guys I

love downsizing with you guys and I cannot wait to show you what this entire

The Untold Truth Of David S. Pumpkins - Duration: 5:53.

If you're one of the millions of people who've fallen under the spell of Halloween's goofiest

new mascot, David S. Pumpkins, you've come to the right place.

"I'm David Pumpkins, and I'm gonna scare the hell out of you."

The Tom Hanks persona first made his debut on Saturday Night Live in 2016, but immediately

generated online insanity.

Now he's well on his way to becoming an annual staple of the spooky season.

So now's a great time to take a look at what you might not know about David S. Pumpkins.

"Any questions?!"

Viral inspiration

Have you ever seen the viral video known as "Little Superstar"?

Well, former SNL writer and performer Bobby Moynihan has.

He and his writing partners Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell were fans of the clip, which

has racked up over 18 million views since it first hit YouTube in 2006.

"Little Superstar" had previously been incorporated into SNL in 2007 when Bill Hader and Fred

Armisen performed a brief parody of the video at the end of an episode, but that was nothing

compared to the bad breakdancing madness to come.

Ten years later, the video inspired the three SNL writers to let their imaginations run

wild.

"We were watching that video—there's a video of an Indian guy dancing around, and every

once in awhile, he stops and the music stops.

And we thought that was really fun, and we were like, 'Let's write something where we're

dancing.'"

Moynihan revealed that the show's airdate being so close to Halloween was the next piece

of the writing puzzle.

"We said there's no Santa Claus for Halloween."

"Mikey was like how about David Pumpkins?

I was like how about David S. Pumpkins?"

"The rest was history."

The S, he'd later reveal, stands for "Simon [...] For no reason whatsoever."

Sounds about right.

Silence is golden

Part of what makes David S. Pumpkins work is the fact that he doesn't really say much

about who he is, or why he exists.

He's just kind of… there, a grinning weirdo who assumes you'll learn everything you need

to know about him just by watching him breakdance with his skeleton pals.

But the original version of the sketch had Pumpkins providing a lot more details about

his wacky existence as a festive Halloween mutant.

Mikey Day told Uproxx, "Originally, there was a lot more dialogue.

And originally it was set to like a beat, so it kind of had rhythm.

And we were like, 'Do you haunt?'

And he's like, 'Maybe.'

And then there was, 'If you wake up in the morning and there's a pumpkin in your hall

closet, that means I hate you.'"

Thankfully the mysteriously stupid David S. Pumpkins we know and love is the one who eventually

made it to air — and into our hearts.

Low brow

Tom Hanks has been known as an Oscar-winning dramatic actor for several decades now, making

it easy to forget that he got his showbiz start in comedy.

From Bosom Buddies and Bachelor Party to Big and Joe vs. the Volcano, Hanks' ability to

be funny in just about any role is something we only get to see these days when he shows

up on SNL.

Even still, Hanks wasn't entirely convinced that he wanted to take on David S. Pumpkins.

"Tom Hanks, in between dress and air — not a fan of the sketch.

He thought it was very bizarre."

In fact, Hanks even suggested that they save the character for the host of the following

week's episode.

However, he went for it — and it became an instant sensation … even if he still

doesn't quite get the appeal.

"I don't exactly understand it."

"And I'll be David S. Pumpkins for the rest of my life.

Here lies David S. Pumpkins."

Indeed, it didn't take long for Tom Hanks to reprise his role on the show — well,

sort of.

In May, Hanks came back to close out SNL's 42nd season in his infamous pumpkin suit,

but his name became "David S. Pimpkins", which is something of an upgrade … or a downgrade,

depending on how you look at it.

"Any questions?"

Oh, just a few.

Costume craze

SNL's behind-the-scenes team might have considerable experience making custom costumes.

But for David S. Pumpkins, they went the easy route.

"We purposely went and and were like… just a $12.99 suit."

And it's a good thing they did, because fans of David S. Pumpkins went all out trying to

snag a copy of the costume for themselves.

Just days after the sketch aired, outlets across the web reported that the suit sold

out right away, even though the price tag was a little bit higher than Moynihan remembered.

Imitation is flattery

Tom Hanks wasn't alone in being confused by the chaos of David S. Pumpkins.

His son Colin Hanks also had trouble wrapping his head around the bit.

"And then I saw that and I said oh gee, wow, okay."

But one celeb who really got into it was Microsoft founder Bill Gates, who went on to impersonate

David S. Pumpkins to promote his own Reddit AMA...with an inexplicable Christmas spin.

"Okay, yeah, yeah, and Christmas Pumpkins is?"

"His own thannnnng."

Between that and the memes of Pumpkins popping up in famous horror movie scenes, it's pretty

clear the character has done his job of becoming a holiday mainstay — which means …

Pumpkins returns

In September 2017, nearly a year after he first played the role, Tom Hanks tweeted a

teaser image of some script pages that pointed to a Pumpkins part two sketch on SNL … but

NBC had even bigger plans in mind.

The network announced that Hanks would be reteaming with the writing troupe that started

it all for a 30-minute animated David S. Pumpkins Halloween Special, featuring Game of Thrones

star Peter Dinklage.

Judging by Hanks' sneak peek of the script, he'll actually have something to say about

himself this time around.

And the press release for the special tells us it'll be "set in a small suburban town

on All Hallows' Eve," and focuses "on David Pumpkins and his skeleton sidekicks who show

a young boy and his sister the true meaning of Halloween, answering none of their questions

along the way."

Will the show manage to recapture the fun, nonsensical spirit of the sketch?

We'll know for sure on October 28.

Until then, better practice your dance moves.

"Happy Halloween!"

Brucetube episode 7 inflating on take off - Duration: 3:03.

Ok, today I wanted to talk about ground handling and inflation

and specially inflation on take off.

One of the beauty of paragliding is that you can actually fly the wing before you take off,

because hangliders can't do that, airplanes can't do that, but with the paragliding you can fly the wing before you take off and this is a great safety feature.

When you inflate something on take off there is 2 important things that you can feel

first of all the glider and secondly the air

This become like a tool for you to feel what is going and to feel that your glider fly safely.

Well there is lot of different things that can happen when you're inflating a glider,

best thing to do is just to look at the video. 10 00:00:47,000 --> 00:00:54,000 When I inflate a glider on the ground, I would say that I can tell 90% how the glider would feel when I'm in the air. 11 00:00:57,030 --> 00:01:00,010 Sometimes everything is very simple,

the glider comes up smoothly, stays above your head nicely

with no tendency to overshoot

Then you don't need to worry at all and you can just take off smoothly

directly into the nice smooth air

Sometimes conditions don't go as smoothly,

sometimes the glider can hang back, it might overshoot you

also when the glider is above your head

it might be yawning from side to side

it might even get some tip collapses

and then you can feel that the air is turbulent. 22 00:01:30,220 --> 00:01:33,170 It's very interesting to see how the 2 gliders move

in a very similar way to each other

and that the turbulence is actually causing the same reactions on both gliders.

If you don't want to be flying in turbulent conditions then don't take off,

it depends on the level of the pilot.

On the last shot here we see a glider taking off from Gourdon

he's already feeling on the ground exactly what's gonna happen when he gets in the air

So the air is a little turbulent, a little bit thermic

and when he's off the ground he enters immediately into a thermal

and again you can just see that what he's feeling on the ground

he also feels directly when he takes to the air.

So we've seen a lot of different take off and inflations

and the thing we can really learn is that inflation is not just for taking off

this is just an extremely important information for every pilot

So hopefully it will make you a better pilot next time.

Nice to speak to you, and speak to you again tomorrow

Mr. Husky Misses Pulling His Sled In Winter | Cartoon For Kids - Duration: 4:54.

Mr. Monkey, Monkey Mechanic was oiling the wheels on his skateboard

when all of a sudden,

the garage bell rang

That means a visitor has arrived, but who could it be?

It's Mr. Husky

Hello, Mr. Husky

Yo, Mr. Monkey

I was just getting a little exercise

Mr. Monkey sees that Mr. Husky has brought his sled

What seems to be the trouble?

There's nothing I love more in the winter than pulling my friends on my sled

That sounds like a lot of fun, says Mr. Monkey

So, what's the problem?

Well, I'm not sure if you've noticed or not, Mr. Monkey,

but it's summertime so there's no snow

I can't pull my sled without snow

I see, says Mr. Monkey

I really miss pulling my sled

It's great exercise and my friends love it, too

Can you help me?

Unfortunately, Mr. Monkey can't change the weather,

but there might be something else he can do to help

Awesome

While you're doing that I'll be outside, doing my exercises

Mr. Monkey knows that sleds slide on the snow,

but snow only falls in the winter

so he'll have to find another way to help the sled move

Now, what types of vehicles work well when there isn't any snow?

Cars work well in every season,

and you can ride bicycles in the spring summer and fall

Oh, and skateboards, too

What do all those vehicles have in common?

That's it! They all have wheels

That gives Mr. Monkey an idea

He'll need four wheels

Mr. Monkey better check his inventory

Oh no, he's all out of wheels

He used the last four wheels on his skateboard

Now he can't help Mr. Husky

Wait, that's it!

He can take the wheels off his skateboard and attach them to Mr. Husky's sled

Mr. Monkey loves his skateboard, but he loves helping his friends even more

One...two...three...four

There, four wheels

And Mr. Monkey will need one more thing,

his trusty monkey wrench

One wheel, two wheels

three wheels, four wheels

Mr. Monkey, my sled is sliding

But there isn't any snow

How did you do i?

My mind is literally blown

Simple, Mr. Husky, I just added some wheels to the bottom

Now you can pull your sled all year round, anytime you'd like

This is amazing, Mr. Monkey

Now hop on and let's go for a ride

Hold on tight, Mr. Monkey

English Ninjas - Past Perfect Tense - Duration: 2:34.

Hello from English Ninjas. Today we're going to talk about the past perfect tense.

So, the past perfect tense is used to describe things that happened in the past.

They started in the past and they also finished in the past.

This is not an action that is still happening at this moment.

It also indicates that you had a beginning and an end, but that something else happened after as well.

So, let's start with the structure: you have your subject

(I, you, he/she/it, we, you, they). Next...

You always add "had" the past tense of the verb "to have" so:

I had, you had, he/she/it had, we had, you had, they had... Always the same!

The one thing that does change them is the verb.

The verb you are going to use the past participle. Always!

So, you can say "I had eaten dinner by the time my friend came."

I had finished my homework by bedtime. I had gone to the movies when the mail arrived.

This can be a little confusing but if you remember that the first part of the structure is always the same.

You just have to remember "had" you can add the next verb as being the past participle.

The past participle does change depending on if the verb is regular or irregular.

However, if the verb is regular it is always going to be the same as the past tense with the -ed.

However, if the verb is irregular you're usually going to be adding an -ne at the end.

For instance, I had done the dishes when my mom got home.

or... I had given my mom a necklace for Christmas, so I didn't give her another necklace for her birthday.

Like that... Now...

If you have any questions I know it's a little bit more difficult than some of the other tenses...

Feel free to stop by and ask us questions. We're always happy to help.

Have a great day :)

Softly, softly,

Let's tell each other our secrets.

I'll be sure to treasure

All of these memories.

Life must be

A sad, yet beautiful thing.

The sea breeze runs through your hair, dyed the colour of tears.

Millions of stars falling from the sky were reflected in the ocean.

I wanted to show its blueness to you, so I took a short detour.

I blamed it on the night.

"Even when we feel

That a great distance separates us,

The moon and the sea are still wherever we are, so…"

After saying that, the light of the fireflies illuminated your skin.

Millions of stars falling from the sky were reflected in the ocean.

I didn't want to forget its blueness, so I tried shutting my eyes for a bit.

I blamed it on the wind.

Though we know that this is goodbye

You're smiling, so I can't cry

Millions of stars falling from the sky were reflected in the ocean.

I felt that only its blueness would tie us together, so I took a short detour.

I blamed it on the night.
