Youtube daily report w Oct 21 2017

This episode was brought to you by Brilliant.org.

As far as I know there hasn't been a study to confirm this,

but I'm pretty sure water damage is the leading cause of panic

among smartphone users worldwide.

One minute, you're having a great day, and the next, your phone is

sitting at the bottom of the toilet and your world comes crashing down.

All those photos of your cute baby...

So what do you do when you accidentally spill your grande latte

all over your screen?

Is there any way to rescue a drowned phone?

Sometimes.

Maybe.

If you act quickly.

The biggest problem is that most water contains ions that make it conductive,

which means it can mess up where power is being routed in your phone

and short-circuit essential components.

In a short circuit, there's a connection being made

that allows a quicker, easier path for current to flow.

That can fry some parts, since they aren't designed to handle that kind of jolt.

And it can quickly drain your battery

in a way that can cause long-term damage.

So if your phone is wet and it's still on, the first thing you should do is turn it off.

That way, at least you're not actively sending a current through all that circuitry.

And if the screen went black,

resist the urge to turn it on to see if it's still working.

Once your phone is off,

you'll want to use a cloth to dry as much of the water as you can.

Letting the water dry naturally isn't a good plan,

because it can react with parts of the phone and cause corrosion,

which wears away the components

and can cause permanent short circuits and irreversible damage.

Plus, the longer the phone is wet, the more time the water has

to seep into it and get to the most sensitive electronics.

If your phone was truly soaked through,

odds are you've already got water in places you can't reach.

You'll need to make sure all of that water has dried, too,

before you turn it back on.

That's why you might have heard people suggest

putting your wet phone in a container of uncooked rice for a day or so.

The idea is that dry rice grains are a desiccant

they attract and absorb water.

Leave a container of rice open in a humid environment for a while

and you'll see what I mean.

Just maybe don't eat it afterward.

When you put your phone in a tightly sealed container with rice,

you're hoping that the rice will pull the moisture from the trapped air,

allowing the water in your phone to evaporate more quickly

and leaving you with a nice, dry phone.

Some people swear by this, and rice-drying is definitely better than

blow-drying your phone.

The hot air might get rid of the water,

but heat generally isn't very good for electronics.

Rice isn't the best desiccant around, though.

It's just convenient because most people already have some in their house.

There are lots of other substances that are much better at wicking moisture,

like the little silica packets that say "Do Not Eat" on them, or even cat litter.

So if your phone tends to get a lot of unscheduled baths,

you might want to hoard all those little silica packets

and put them in an airtight container for a rainy day.

But even with the best desiccant, there's no guarantee

you'll be able to rescue your phone if the water has done its worst.

So if this does happen to you a lot,

you might just want to invest in a waterproof phone or case.

GAGÁ - Duration: 3:08.

Next topic is the war in Syria.

-What? -The war.

-What? -The war in Syria.

-What is he talking about? -The war in Syria.

-In Syria. -With Cynthia?

She's helpless. She can't help but be feisty.

No, God. The war in Syria!

Syria!

-Oh, Syria! -Exactly. You know it, right?

It's worth a visit. Aleppo is so cute!

Aleppo is not even a city anymore.

It's devastated because of the war.

Who used to love it there was John the Evangelist.

-Nice. -He went nuts there!

He loved to eat Brazilian grapetree.

He would climb the trees and eat it straight from it.

-Nice... -There's a lot of these trees there.

-Not really. -And also Brazilian cherry.

-They don't have it there. -Blackberry!

They had blackberries! I'm positive!

He'd climb the trees to watch the sunset.

Your uncle Harold and I invented it.

Right, God.

Harold wanted it to be a grayish orange.

I said, "Harold, are you insane?

It's either orange or gray."

Can we go back to the discussion? So...

We have to come up with a solution.

I just want to add something...

-Ok, spill it. -Regarding...

-Syria. -Exactly. Syria.

I believe that...

I think...

-Saint Peter, he fell asleep. -Fuck!

God!

Poke him, will you?

-Did I die? -No, you're immortal.

So, continuing...

We need to come up with a solution for Syria.

-There's only one option. -It's wet here.

What?

-A pipe burst. -What burst?

-It's all wet. -Sait Peter, he wet his pants.

Can you change him, Michael? No, you do it.

Shit! Where is he?

Michael, he wasn't supposed to leave!

He's old. He'll fall.

He'll get hurt! He's too old to walk by himself!

Saint Peter, I told you.

Since the Black Death, he's not the same.

He doesn't know better. He can't be in charge.

Let's find him first. Then, we'll figure it out.

Everyone, let's pray.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven,

-hallowed be Thy name. -Bless you!

Hold him! Don't you leave! Hold him!

-You're hurting me! -Calm down.

-He's stealing money from me. -Oh, no!

I'm not changing him.

Done. I figured your Syria problem.

I sent it over there.

God?

-I'm here! -Holy shit!

Fuck!

God, come back here, man!

-Okay? -Look at me!

Come back here! Holy fucking Christ!

I give up!

I give up! I'm going home.

I'm not gonna look for kids anymore.

-It's time for me to go home... -Check this out!

Come back here, you son of a bitch!

Damn it!

Selfie-interview - Claudio Galvão - Duration: 4:06.

Hi

My name is Claudio

I'm 20 years old

I'm study at PUC-Campinas

I'm in 4º period

And the prevision of conclusion of my course

is December of 2019

And currently i'm live in Campinas

Well, I already had an experience at Unicamp

internship over there, acting in suport area

I attended the employees of the units

that was the DGRH, the DEdIC,

and does computers formatting,

I looked what was happening in the theirs machine,

if was some problem of hardware ...

Basicatly was it

The experiences that contribuition for

who I'm today, was first

the period of my high school,

that in the morning I studied

in the afternoon I already worked 4 hour per day

and in the night I does tecnical course

So I had that administer well my time,

give an account of everything

and I do...

Already create sense of responsibility...

It was a period that made me grow a lot

Now it's being the period of my college,

that us have dealt very with projects,

us need that dealt with deadline,

and these discipline of project,

us need absorve well the content of discipline,

to apply, team work...

I have also participated in PUC projects,

that's the PUC-Empreende,

that open very the mind for the entrepreneurship,

for you have a market overview and everything else

Well, some of my values are

the respect, that i believe that the respect is

fundmental for you have the possibility to understand

the mind of the next, the culture someone else,

the form of someone else think

I have very look is happen,

this is my value being apply in the displines

of project, that us have that in team work,

understand the mentality of someone and

respect, consider...

That is very important

After, the intuition

because in my high school period,

when I decided start the tecnical course,

I followed the influence of my parents,

doing something I did not want,

the tecnical course in buildings

and I already had it on my mind that I wanted make

Computer Technician, but I had my 13, 14 years old,

I doesn't had very nocion

they said that I would pass hungry

and that I would not do well in that area

I followed their influence and

I took building technician,

but after I concluse and I said:

"No. I want do Information System!"

so I learned that is very import

follow your intuition and

defend that you believe.

And determination

that I see, per exemple,

being apply in the period of my preparatory course

that I do after concluid which I did soon after

I finished high school,

I did 1 year

and I was determined to pass the entrance exam,

enter university

and soon after that,

I still see being applied

in the very faculty because us, in the first period,

in the first year,

that I had my first contact

with this area I had my difficulties,

everyone who starts in this area

have your difficulties when starting

to learn how to program you need to have

a lot of determination

practice for you learning and doing well.

And also in the projects,

that...

you...

for example...

in this first period that us

faced a project that the deadline was

very short and had many things to apply

of things that we did not even have so much as yet

and we run behind monitors, of teacher,

we search the internet and with determination

we managed to reach our final result

This is me

Thank you

Bye

UBER COLLECTIVE - Duration: 2:54.

Hi, bro. Sorry, I got stuck.

-I'm sorry, man. -Relax. I called an Uber.

Is Camilinha coming?

I'm gonna be real with you. Camilinha doesn't like clubs.

-Real honest. -I'm fucked!

-It's here. -Didn't you call an Uber?

That's our Uber!

This is a bus, man.

Are you crazy? This is an Uber, man!

-I requested on their app. -Right! On the bus app.

John, this is a fucking Uber collective!

-Uber collective? -Exactly!

It's a combination between pool and black.

Hence, Uber collective.

-I don't get it. -Of course! You're young!

You must learn with me about life.

-Have you used pool? -Nope.

See? He's never used Uber pool.

With Uber pool, three people can share a ride.

So, what is Uber collective?

They take up to 60 people sitting and 40 standing.

Isn't Uber about exclusivity?

This option is supposed to be cheap and fun.

-I see... -And you don't use credit card.

-You don't? -You don't.

When your statement comes, you won't be surprised.

Like, "how many times I ubered on a date?"

That's all gone.

You pay $3,80 to Uber exchanger when you embark.

-You pay it to her, and that's it. -Uber exchange is the ticket taker?

No. It's that sweaty lady on the blue shirt with the money.

She manages the app and is in charge here.

On a hot Sunday, where do people go?

To the beach, you stupid! You're incorrigible!

People want to go to the beach, dude!

Then, she launches promos. Half the price.

You jump the turnstile and hand her half the money.

Gum, gum. Who wants gum?

No, I'm good, bro. Thanks!

You can get candy and water. Some people here sell pens.

I've seen people sharing sad stories for money.

-I've seen it. -It sounds like a regular bus.

Fucking bus? I told you this is an Uber collective.

-They are licensed. -What do you mean?

It means they can change lanes without using their blinkers.

No limitations for honking. They go hard on it!

-It's awesome, dude! -I get it.

Besides, they never go the wrong way.

No more drivers missing exits.

It's the same route every day.

-So, no more Waze? -Wake's filling for bankruptcy.

People get out in pre-determined stops.

The car stops and people disembark.

-Sounds really nice. -That sign is the best thing.

-Read it! -"Don't speak to the driver."

Right? John, trust me. I'm telling you.

Chill out! We're almost there.

Are you from Uber?

What do you mean? I drive the 478 bus, man.

Are you the driver? And people sell stuff in your bus?

-They're working. -And your water there?

It's fucking hot and I'm thirsty!

-The water is for me! -Everyone, out!

-Calm down! -What is going on here?

Why did you paint this part black?

-It's standard. -I'll break your car!

Trump Tells Hilarious Joke, Gets Whole World Laughing At Hillary Again - Duration: 24:14.

Trump Tells Hilarious Joke, Gets Whole World Laughing At Hillary Again

Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election so badly that it's still hilarious.

Speaking to the press today, President Trump decided to make a joke about it, as Conservative

Fighters reports.

The joke came up because reporters asked POTUS what he thought of Clinton's comments that

the NFL anthem protesters "are not against our anthem or our flag."

Trump was direct and to the point to start with:

"I think she's wrong.

Look, when they take a knee, there's plenty of time to do knees and plenty of time to

do lots of other things.

but when you take a knee, that's why she lost the election.

Honestly.

it's that thinking, that's the reason she lost the election," Trump said.

"When you go down and take a knee or any other way, you're sitting, essentially,

for our great national anthem," he added.

Trump wasn't done yet, either.

"You are disrespecting our flag and you are disrespecting our country, and the NFL

should have suspended some of these players for one game.

Not fire them.

Suspended them for one game.

Then if they did it again, it could have been two games and three games and then for the

season.

You wouldn't have people disrespecting our country right now," he explained.

"And if Hillary Clinton actually made the statement that in a form sitting down during

the playing of our great national anthem is not disrespectful, then I fully understand

why she didn't win."

Then he commented about whether she might ever run again, making the whole country laugh.

"Is she going to run?

Oh, I hope.

Hillary, please run again.

Go ahead."

Boom.

Then the President put the whole matter to rest with even more emphasis.

"I mean, look, there are a lot of reasons she didn't win including the fact she was

not good at what she did.

but I will tell you, that is something that I had just heard about," he said.

"I think that her statement in itself is very disrespectful to our country."

That just about

says it all.

Isn't his

joke hilarious?

Men's Mental Health: Mana and Mateship - Duration: 28:39.

(MYSTERIOUS MUSIC)

Copyright Able 2017

Men don't like talking about their feelings or admitting that they're weak or that they need help,

but mental illness doesn't discriminate.

And all three of us have suffered in our own ways.

(SOLEMN MUSIC)

We think we're staunch, and we think we can fix everything and handle anything, but we can't.

At some point, no matter how tough you are, how strong you think you are,

it's gonna get you.

We don't know how to have a conversation. That's what I see as half the problem.

If everyone's able to be honest, you know, say when they're a bit vulnerable,

say when they're hurting,

say when they're sad,

yeah, the face of Aotearoa will be totally different to what it is.

(PERCUSSIVE MUSIC)

(BOTH LAUGH)

Oh, kia ora. Ko Matetu Mihinui tenei.

Um, known him since we were at kohanga and through to primary school,

high school, and then kept in touch, you know — stayed close throughout all the years.

Uh, that's, uh,...

Donald Trump. Nah, it's Wharekahika Clarke. Um...

Slash — Hulk. Slash — The Hulk.

Known him all my life. We've done everything together.

Just the mental health stuff, I was the first one that got a bit wayo'd there.

And I thought that'd be it,

and then when this fulla started having his troubles, um,

I suppose that's when it, sort of, I felt a bit of, yeah, a responsibility to...

help and awhi and that sort of thing.

For a lot of men, a lot of Maori, it's the hardest thing to do,

is to ask for help when you're, you know,

in a dark place or depressed and wondering when you're trying to make sense of things.

And just having that person that's in that field of expertise, I guess,

you know, I— I could trust him.

(REFLECTIVE ACOUSTIC MUSIC)

I'm a father of six — most of the time — wonderful children.

I'm married to my wife, Courtney Mihinui.

I'm from Rotorua. This wharenui is Wahiao,

my tipuna whare. My iwi's Tuhourangi-Ngati Wahiao.

And I was born and bred here in Whakarewarewa Village.

I suppose I was a cheeky little fulla.

Inquisitive. Always asked, 'How come?' and 'why?'

Being in a small community, everyone, sort of, looks after everyone.

My aunties and uncles and that are just like parents at home.

You know, if I look back at it, I'm probably a little bit unparented, I suppose.

I never knew my father. I remember asking my mum one time when I was young.

She said something, and, um,...

yeah, it was like Donald Duck or something like that, you know?

Telling a little kid. And I wasn't stupid.

And when she lied to me, that's when I outlashed. It wasn't always the best thing.

I just had that inquisitive mind, left to run rampant.

Yeah, I started doing things and trying things.

(CURIOUS MUSIC)

People would say I was mischief, no ears, but I don't remember that.

I remember being Superman, Batman, all in one. (CHUCKLES)

My culture's really important to me. My whanau, even more important.

And I was brought up with my nan, and she would talk to me. She would teach me.

My nan was really into her culture and her reo.

My parents are separated. There's still a close relationship.

My whole family, we're really close.

In all honesty, I've only opened up to maybe one or two people.

My mum's one, and Mata's the other.

Having a relationship after 10 years and when kids are involved come to an abrupt end...

and with no understanding or no reasoning

and you've given so much commitment to trying to better a stable future for your kids,

you know, to come to such an abrupt end, it hurt.

It was— That's enough in itself to make someone lose their mind.

I felt like experimenting.

I started to use cannabis like that. It was a daily thing.

Drinking till, you know, the sun comes up the next day.

Yeah, quite often during the week too, not just on the weekends and that.

Oh, eventually I became spiritually bankrupt.

I had nothing left.

I started to think what the world would be like without me, and that was 15.

It sort of started from there.

By the time I turned 17, I was paranoid about things,

and I ended up in Middlemore Hospital. Uh...

when I came to, I think it was about a Tuesday or Wednesday,

and talking to the doctor, he asked where I was, and I didn't know where I was.

The room was a bit different. I thought I might have been in a psychiatric ward by this time.

Stayed clean for about a week or two and started using again. Um, I was unwell. I was sick at the time,

and my mind was getting worse,

but I couldn't sleep, and I ended up staying awake for five days.

On the fifth day, I was probably the sickest I've ever been. Um...

Absolutely paranoid.

And then I started thinking of ways I might, uh, kill myself.

Where I fell over and might have stuffed things right up was when I

would've come across as a threat to my ex-partner and she felt threatened,

that she had to get the police involved.

I needed to be heard.

I had some police officers go to her job, make sure she's safe, take her away.

because they were scared that I might have done—

well, they thought I was capable of maybe physically harming her, which I wasn't.

I'd never do anything to hurt anyone.

Then I was hit with, um, a protection order against her.

Then I was hit with a parenting order, which meant that I couldn't see my kids.

That's when everything changed for me, where as soon as the kids got involved...

I haven't really talked about it, eh, to anyone else,...

(SOBS) not being able to see my kids,

which was, um, the case,

then all the orders served against me.

And that's when I lost it.

That's when, um— That's when I went all suicidal, and I attempted more than once.

I ended up ringing my ex and saying goodbye.

And she found me, rung an ambulance, and... (INHALES)

I remember ringing Mats just to say, 'Get to the hospital.' And then I woke up three days later.

I was angry. It wasn't gonna work.

Yeah, my auntie, uh,... yeah, she— she...

she called me, and she went and told my uncle and... (INHALES)

he came in, uh, a bit freaked out, I think, too. And he asked me what I was doing,

and I just dropped on my knees and sort of gave up.

And he came and, sort of, picked me up and that and gave me a hug and said,

'Oh, I think we might have to go and see someone, eh, boy.'

Uh, yeah, well, ended up in the psychiatric ward that day.

While I was in there, a doctor told me, uh, to look out of my room into the open lounge area. Uh...

and he said, 'Do you wanna end up like the rest of these fullas out there?'

So a moment of clarity, and, uh, 'Yeah, I don't wanna end up like this.

'This is not how it's supposed to be.' And I just, sort of, really dug in deep

to, uh, do what was necessary to get better.

You're scared of what people will think. You're scared of everyone.

You don't wanna go into public.

And then it was too much. I had another fight with my ex.

And then I...

I was prepared to do it again, but I didn't.

On my way to doing what I had planned, I just heard a voice, you know?

(AMBIENT MUSIC)

I went and sat at the urupa with one of my ex students, which is my principal's daughter,

and out of all the people that were ringing me, family,

I only replied to them, because I knew they'd understand.

They text to say everyone's worried. They were worried.

They had rung the police because they didn't know what to do.

At that point, I must have rung him 20 times,

and my wife, Jenny, she would've rung him probably as many times.

I went, sort of, looking for him, looking for his car,

seeing if I could find him in some places that I thought he might be.

Um, Jenny was doing the same.

And then eventually — and I don't know why — he answered her call.

Um, and he said that he was sitting at the cemetery with my daughter.

So the name of this urupa's kowai, we're sitting next to one of my, um...

one of my ex students who passed away, lost a battle to cancer.

During the time I was a little bit lost in the separation with my ex

and I felt I had no one to talk to, um...

I felt, um...

a kind of, like, you know, soon I'd end up in a place like this.

It was the changing point.

It was when I decided that, um, I'd never let anyone hurt me again.

You know, it was when I let it all go, screamed at the top of my lungs,

decided that this was it, that I had to make it on my own,

and that I couldn't look back; I could only go forward.

This is where I accepted a lot of things...

and just let everything out — all the emotion, all the hurt.

(SOLEMN MUSIC)

People are often surprised when I say that the day Tara died was not the worst day of my life.

Um, the day that I found out her prognosis and the kind of tumour she had,

that was the worst day of my life.

(SOLEMN ACOUSTIC MUSIC)

And that would be closely followed by the first day that we saw the tumour on the computer screen

and realised that that was a really, really bad place to have a tumour, right in the middle of her brain.

Do you wanna come and play? Come and play with us.

There was a bunch of hard days when she was sick and suffering.

They were the hardest times. And seeing the kids really upset, they were the hardest times.

Are you ready?

I suffered from anxiety for quite a long time after she passed.

Didn't wanna answer the telephone at work,

just in case there was a problem that I wasn't ready to cope with, kind of thing.

Is it a packet of chips?

(LAUGHTER)

I'm sorry. I'm not very smart. What are you drawing?

That's pretty well passed now.

I had a, you know, really good conversation with my oldest daughter, Hannah,

about why we were filming this, and she wasn't really aware that I had suffered from depression.

I mean, she was probably aware of my mood or how flat I was at the time,

but she wouldn't have known what sort of label to put on that.

In the kids' category? Yeah. (LAUGHTER)

Now a few years on, three years on,

um, I know that I'm not all healed, and I never will be.

Um, but I don't suffer from depression now.

Shall we sing that song that Matua Whare taught us that we're gonna sing at your auntie's wedding?

Yeah. OK.

I don't have really low moods. I don't have uncontrollable emotion swings for no reason

that I was having throughout her illness and the months afterwards.

# Ka waiata

# ki a Maria,

# hine i whakaae.

# Ko te whaea,

# Ko te whaea

# o te ao, # o te ao. #

Yayyy!

So beautiful.

(REFLECTIVE ACOUSTIC MUSIC)

My connection with Whare and Mats has been a real positive in each of our, kind of, stories.

They've got a much closer kind of brotherly relationship, the two of them,

which they've shared since they were kids.

That real close relationship is really important to them.

I know that.

(UPLIFTING ACOUSTIC MUSIC)

When I went to drug and alcohol rehab,

that's where I started to learn the things that were gonna get me better.

I started to learn and understand what was wrong.

Oh, this will be lunch.

Follows morning tea. (CHUCKLES)

And then I came back after that year, got home and actually felt strong enough to live here.

MasterChef.

Within a month, my hapu and not need to drink and do drugs,

I was a little bit stronger to be able to do that...

and, um, got into the mix of things.

I started to learn that I wasn't that bad person that I'd come to believe.

And I could change that with the help of other people.

Far.

Padlock, bro. Padlock.

(LAUGHTER) (CLICKS)

Any greens? We don't need greens, ow.

Ah, yes. You look at it on your plate.

(GIGGLES) Spinach. What's the other—? Silverseed. Silverbeet.

Silverseed. You don't even know the same, ow.

Over there.

(EXHALES) Bread.

There were a lot of people that were there for me, but I didn't realise how much I meant to others.

(EXHALES) Hurry up.

There was a lot of people that, yeah, turned up, but you don't, sort of, think about all that.

I needed to be a better person cos of the field that I work in.

Ow, did we put some potatoes in? Down the bottom.

You know, you can't be the sort of person that works with children.

So I had to, one, change my ahua and how I was thinking, not just for myself but for my own two children

and then for what I do in work.

Mean workout at the gym. Think it might be a bit rubbery, eh.

This is where I would come, quality time with my grandmother and my koro.

Yeah, so I've always kept being in touch with this whenua.

So, yeah, this is Ohorongo — Ohorongo Bay, Tarawera.

This is our little hidden-away paradise. (CHUCKLES)

I like to think of myself as a positive role model for these kids, humorous.

I like to make them think that they can come out of their shells and be themselves

and aim for the skies and reach for the stars and be anything they wanna be.

Ewwwww!

And that's my job to try and make them succeed and feel that they're capable of doing that.

(LAUGHS)

So, this is my boy, Whetu, and my daughter, Tanika.

Whetu's 8, and Tanika's 12.

Um, yeah, these are my two little kids, my munchkins. I love them.

Love them to death. (SINGS, STRUMS ACOUSTIC GUITAR)

# Te aroha. #

I love singing. I love kapa haka. I play the guitar with these kids.

The kids are building their confidence, and they're achieving, you know?

I— I do everything I can for them.

(VOCALISES)

(FINISHES SONG)

(WHARE PLAYS ACOUSTIC WAIATA)

50. 100.

So, I've been involved with the school for approximately six, seven years.

I've got, uh, 22 of my class, they're the senior school of Horohoro.

They range from 10 to 12 years old, year six to year 12. They're a great bunch of kids.

So, the first thing we're gonna do this morning is we're gonna do a bit of writing, OK?

Yeah! Yah!

I feel that they've now got someone that cares for them and is in front of them every day,

wanting to do the best and doing a lot for them.

Whaia e koe te iti kahurangi ki te tuohu koe me he maunga teitei.

Hmm.

What I went through, knowing what I know now, you don't want anyone to, sort of, go through that

and being able to feel comfortable enough to talk to someone is really important.

I really emphasise to my children, you know, that if they need to talk to me,

if it concerns anything, it doesn't matter what it is — even if it's a little niggle —

that they're welcome to come and talk to me about it.

We've got a really close-bond relationship.

One, two, three. (ALL CHEER)

OK. Run, run, run. Run, run, run, run! Hey, hey, hey!

(REFLECTIVE MUSIC)

I work for the Bay Of Plenty District Health Board.

Part of the mental health and addictions team and regional Maori health.

Yeah, nah, I'm situated in a court house, and I do drug and alcohol assessments for the court.

Started out as a pilot, then, uh,...

yeah, they made it full-time.

Hardest part of my job is sitting there, day in, day out, listening to our people getting locked up,

um, our people going away.

Families getting torn apart. I know that, you know, it's part of the job.

People do naughty things sometimes, and they go to jail.

But it's not easy to sit there— sit there, day in, day out, and watch that with your own eyes.

My MO in life, really, being on the kaupapa,

is, um, trying to help other people if, uh...

if I can.

Um, get lots of call-outs, lots of off-the-book stuff,

uh, to help my whanau members. If I can help them out, then I will.

Something I'm getting used to, learning how to do things a bit more balanced.

Oh, we're late!

I told you to wait!

Oh, this fulla rung up and he said, 'Oh, I've entered us into this competition.

'It's an eight-week challenge at the gym. You're on the team.'

And I didn't really have much of a choice.

1001! 1002! 1003!

And I think it was actually a good thing for me, cos usually if I think about losing weight or anything,

I wait for the motivation and start trying to get excited and get into it,

and it lasts about three days, and then...

you'll start watching TV.

Go three. (GRUNTS)

Well, I'm still there. I haven't missed a session yet.

One. (EXHALES SHARPLY)

One. (EXHALES SHARPLY)

One, two. (EXHALES SHARPLY)

We're the muscliest there anyway. But, um...

I must be the heaviest in our class, though, eh, ow?

Cos those other fellas are skinny. Yeah.

I'm tired. You're tired? Yeah.

Like, straight up, for years, me and this fulla been talking about,

'Oh yeah, that's us. Get abs.'

If we had've started when we first were talking about it, like, 20 years ago,

we would be abbed up. (BOTH LAUGH)

Ripped up.

All it's ever been is a conversation, so we needed someone to actually do it, put it on paper,

get us there.... (WHISTLE BLOWS)

...and do it.

CRACKS UP: Hopefully it gets easier.

Probably be easy by the time we finish.

(BOTH GIGGLE) Stop! Yeah! Disqualified.

So, how much do you weigh, then?

I'm not sayin' that on TV. (LAUGHTER)

Because it's been a little while since I've had my experiences, uh, I've learnt from that.

I've learnt the, um...

Yeah, I've got a lot of learning out of it.

And learning how to do things differently. Just trying to do things on a daily, sort of—

on a daily basis to make sure you don't end up in a situation like that.

And I suppose it's the same for you fullas too.

At the end of the day, we're still blokes and we still give each other heaps

and hassle each other at the gym or in general or real life and at school and whatever else,

but it's just about knowing, actually, that Whare knows that if he was really struggling

that he can trust me.

He's always willing to, 'OK, what do we need to do? How can I help?' You know?

These two guys, you know, are probably the only ones I'll open up to,

because they've— in the past, they've moved mountains to put me where I am today.

Well, anyway, for me, I get to deepen my respect for these fullas.

I'm learning to appreciate them in other ways and what they do

and what they do for their families and all that.

To show some strong Maori men doing that and talking about that,

it's good as a— you know, a middle-class white professional to do the same thing.

But, you know, sitting alongside you guys and say, you know, we've all come from different places

but we've been through similar things and we've done similar things to, kind of, work through it.

(VIBRATO GUITAR NOTES)

I think if I can help in any way I can, I try to.

I feel it's my responsibility to, having had the experiences I've had

and being able to come out on the other side.

I don't know. If I can give hope to someone that they can get well,

I'd live a pretty cool life, I think.

When people do ask you for help, you have to take them seriously.

Just say, 'Oh yeah. OK, bro. Oh, what shall I do?'

You have to take it seriously, because you only get one chance.

And if that chance is lost, you're gonna wish like hell that you had've listened.

If ever I need any advice or guidance, you know,

he's probably one of the closest people I can go to.

I've just got a big heart, caring for— yeah, caring for each other.

He's always there. Always got my back. I'd like to say that I have his back.

But I know whenever he needs anything or if he asks, I'm always there.

Oh, uh, I'm speechless, cuz.

(BOTH LAUGH)

Just, uh... (INHALES)

you're one of a kind. PLAYFULLY: Brothers.

(CRACKS UP) One of a kind.

Deep State Desperately Tries To Suppress Missing Documents About Secret Clinton Lynch Tarmac Meeting - Duration: 24:14.

Deep State Desperately Tries To Suppress Missing Documents About Secret Clinton-Lynch Tarmac

Meeting

When former President Bill Clinton and former Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch met on

the tarmac in Arizona during the 2016 election it was a very shady occurrence.

What did they talk about?

Why was Clinton let off the hook for illegal email use shortly after?

As soon as the meeting was revealed everyone realized there was something fishy about it.

Now Fox News Insider has a story about missing documents from the meeting that Judicial Watch

is working hard to uncover.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said he is skeptical the FBI has a good explanation

for not previously releasing documents on the controversial tarmac meeting between Bill

Clinton and former attorney general Loretta Lynch.

"There may be an innocent explanation as to why these records were missing, but I find

that to be a highly unlikely possibility," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton on

Outnumbered.

Judicial Watch sued the Justice Department earlier this year to recover the records but

was told none existed.

This week the FBI claimed it had found a missing 30 pages of records on the meeting and will

release them in November.

"We're not asking for state secrets.

We want to know what the government was up to on this corruption issue," Fitton explained,

adding "it's my view that the deep state doesn't want to release these records."

Fitton also explained that it's obvious there's a Deep State covering for the left-wing

establishment.

"You see it with the Clinton issues, you see it with the Obama issues, and you frankly

see it with the Trump-Russia issues because I think they know releasing the records would

hurt people they like, like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama," he said.

Boom.

Loretta Lynch is testifying in front of Congress this week.

Maybe she'll finally get publicly humiliated like the should be for her duplicity and lies.

Will Vladimir Putin reveal aliens are here? The 'real reason' why Donald Trump won't do it - Duration: 7:32.

Will Vladimir Putin reveal aliens are here? The 'real reason' why Donald Trump won't do it

Aliens have been working alongside the US and other world governments since at least 1947, when the infamous Roswell UFO crash happened in New Mexico, according to conspiracy theorists.

Steve Bassett, chief executive of the Paradigm Research Group (PRG), is the only registered lobbyist in the US on the issue of and disclosure.

He and many others are convinced the US government has been secretly working with alien visitors since 1947 on developing new technologies, but it has been kept hidden under a worldwide truth embargo.

He believes this is because of fears on the impact on religion, the rule of law, and the fossil fuel economy.

Mr Bassett believes no US officials will ever admit the truth embargo is in place because it will expose a constitutional breach that has been going on for years.

He has taken his mission to Russia in the hope that Vladimir Putin will break the embargo and finally admit that aliens are here.

Mr Bassett was given major air time on Ren TV, one of the most watched networks in Russia with a viewer base of 120 million, after being extensively interviewed in Moscow in May.

The interview, which has just been screened by Ren TV, was conducted by journalist Natalia Pryguina.

Excerpts from the interview, dubbed in Russian, have now been aired on the program Most Shocking Hypotheses (самые шокирующие), a paranormal and alternative documentary series hosted by Russian celebrity Igor Prokopenko.  A PRG spokesman said the group was hopeful the interview and further work Mr Bassett is carrying out with Russian activists might prompt President Putin to make world news by announcing the truth about aliens.

The spokesman said: Bassett covered a broad range of topics including various considerations that might prompt Russian President Vladimir Putin to make the first formal acknowledgment by a head of state regarding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.  PRG believes this to be the first time anyone has made this argument on Russian media inside or outside Russia.  .

While in Moscow Mr Bassett took meetings with a number of groups addressing the extraterrestrial phenomena issues in Russia.  The spokesman added: These groups included a number of former Soviet and Russian military and agency officials.  There has always been a considerable, open engagement of extraterrestrial-related phenomena within Russia and the Soviet Union by the public and the government. In an  with Express.co.uk earlier this year, Mr Bassett said he and many others believe aliens have shared UFO anti-gravity flight technology with the US Government, and, if it became public, it would mean the end of the fossil fuel economy.

In the US, the most secretive operations are called Unacknowledged Special Access Projects (USAP), and he said the alien collaborations were carried out as these.

He said: They do not even acknowledge the existence of these projects, even the president, White House, and Congress, may not know they are going ahead, but this is a major constitutional breach, and so to admit to it now, would expose years of this breach. Mr Bassett believes this is why it is so difficult to get a US alien announcement, and he has turned to Mr Putin.

In the Russian documentary Mr Prokopenko says: Researchers assert that they know the reasons why the US authorities conceal information about UFOs. If evidence about UFOs is disclosed, the entire world economy will crash.

Bassett shared the results of his investigation with us in the exclusive interview.  His main point: America already possesses ET technologies.  The technologies are concealed.

They are not accessible to masses and human civilisation because they fall under the truth embargo.  Mr Bassett said on camera: These craft that appeared en mass in 1947, which are usually talked about as saucers, they do not use oil, gasoline, or gas, or coal.  They have another system of energy.

Without a doubt, much more complicated and deeper system, anti-gravitational.  Some programs were removed from the jurisdiction of the White House and Congress, and are being worked on somewhere, very, very deep, in a black manner.   .

Only the people engaged in it know about this. This is a direct violation of the Constitution.

I can assure you that when a head of state will finally admit this fact formally, and will present the evidence, people will be worried, they will want to learn more.

But at the same time, religion will continue its existence. And the economy, even if it stops its development, it will have new opportunities opened up.

Everything will be OK with it. People and countries will exist. There is, as yet, no confirmed evidence that intelligent aliens exist and are on Earth, or that UFOs are alien craft.

However, Mr Bassett and many others say the evidence is absolutely overwhelming and are convinced it has been happening for years.  According to PRG more than 50 percent of people in the US also believe this to be the case.

Bernie Destroys Ted Cruz In Tax Debate - Duration: 4:59.

BERNIE SANDERS AND TED CRUZ HAD AN INTERESTING

DEBATE THE OTHER NIGHT ABOUT TAXES.

REPUBLICANS ARE PLANNING TO CUT TAXES TO THE BONE OF RICH FOLKS

AND MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS.

80% OF THE TAX CUTS THEY PROPOSE ARE GOING TO GO

TO THE TOP 1%.

PREPARE TO BE STUNNED ABOUT HOW BERNIE WAS FLAT-FOOTED.

SEN.

SANDERS, THROUGH MY LIFETIME ALL WE HAVE SEEN IS

MORE GOVERNMENT AND MORE EXPENSES, CUTTING TAXES FROM TOP

TO BOTTOM OR BOTTOM TO TOP, THEN WE WILL GIVE SOME RELIEF TO

THE BURDENS AND EXPENSES ALL AMERICANS FACE.

WHY WOULD YOU NOT WANT THE TAX CUTS ALL ACROSS THE BOARD

FOR ALL AMERICANS?

I DO FOR THE MIDDLE CLASS AND WORKING FAMILIES, BUT WHEN THE

TOP 1/10 OF 1% NOW OWNS AS MUCH WEALTH AS THE BOTTOM 90%, WHEN

YOU HAVE A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE WITH INCREDIBLE WEALTH AND

POWER, I AM AFRAID THAT I WILL NOT SUPPORT TAX RATES FOR

BILLIONAIRES.

I DON'T KNOW IF YOU WERE THERE WHEN PRES.

TRUMP CAME TO

PENNSYLVANIA?

I WAS.

TRUMP WAS TOUTING THE REPEAL OF THE ESTATE TAX, SOMETHING

THAT SEN.

CRUZ RANTED ABOUT.

LET'S TALK ABOUT THE REPEAL OF THE ESTATE TAX.

THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT BENEFIT ARE THE TOP 2/10 OF 1%,

99.8% OF THE PEOPLE DO NOT PAY A NICKEL IN ESTATE TAXES.

SEN.

CRUISE WILL TELL YOU ABOUT ALL THE FARMERS AND THE RANCHERS.

TED, THERE ARE 80 OF THEM IN THE UNITED STATES.

THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF BENEFICIARIES OF THIS ESTATE TAX

THAT TRUMP WAS SUPPORTING HER PEOPLE LIKE THE WALTON FAMILY.

DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THE WEALTHIEST FAMILY IN AMERICA

SHOULD GET A TAX BREAK OF UP TO $50 BILLION?

DO YOU THINK THAT MAKES SENSE?

I DID SAY ALL AMERICANS.

WHAT DO YOU THINK THE WEALTHY SHOULD KNOCK IT TAX BREAKS.

I DID SAY ALL AMERICANS.

WELL, I HAPPEN NOT TO BELIEVE THAT THE COCH BROTHERS DO NOT

NEED

A TAX BREAK.

OKAY THE GUY DISAGREES.

HE THINKS THEY SHOULD RECEIVE ANOTHER $50

BILLION IN TAX BREAKS.

THEY INHERITED THE MONEY AND THOSE SIX WALTONS HAVE MORE

MONEY THAN THE BOTTOM 50% OF THE COUNTRY.

THAT IS OVER HUNDRED 50 MILLION PEOPLE.

BUT THEY APPARENTLY NEED ANOTHER $50 BILLION IN TAXES.

I DON'T THINK A LOT OF AMERICANS AGREE.

WHAT?

THE COHN BROTHERS

ARE GOING TO BUY ANOTHER YACHT OR

JET TO HELP THE ECONOMY?

DOLLARS THAT GO TO THE RICHEST PEOPLE IN THE COUNTRY ALMOST ALL

THEY GET SAVED WHICH MEANS IT DOES NOT RECIRCULATE IN THE

ECONOMY AND DOES NOT CREATE GROWTH OR JOBS.

I HAVE BEEN LYING TO YOU THIS WHOLE JOB WITH THIS

TRICKLE-DOWN ECONOMIC NONSENSE.

AND NO BERNIE WAS NOT CAUGHT FLAT-FOOTED OR OFF GUARD,

HE HAD A GREAT ANSWER AS USUAL.

IT IS AMAZING HOW THEY TWIST THINGS.

60Amp Racerstar Waterproof Brushless ESC Review and Test Run With 3650 Rc Motor - Duration: 6:05.

this is the racerstar 3650 brushless motor with a 60amp waterproof ESC

and the programming card review hello everybody and thank you for watching to

a new episode of how to DIY Rc it's a rainy day to day outside so it's

a perfect day to start and continue the build of the feiyue FY03 eagle 3 and this is the

motor and brushless esc that we are trying to use this is a racerstar 4 poles motor

3100 kV and I'm done with trying it out first on a 3-cell 60Amp true water

proofed esc this ESC is build inside this case to be waterproofed and they have used

shows up they have used some epoxy and in front of the wires to waterproof it but

that's only 90% you also have to put epoxy behind the wires and that's what they

forgot they just did a quick job and just putting something in front with

nothing in between but for the rest the ESC is really nice cased in and comes with the case in

cooling fan this runs on five volts and it cools

pretty good on an off switch and Dean connector

we're gonna change to a xt60 connector and of course normale servo wires and silicon wires and are

pretty good and they are 14 AWG so that should be good and they come with of

course connectors already soldered in and heatshrink it up... you're gonna

have to some more epoxy on this connector to the fan and behind the wires to make it

100% waterproof making my job a lot a lot easier to make it fully waterproof then

that the ESC delivery with the motor combo pack but a 4s 80Amp ESC is coming up but

because this one is only 2 to 3 cell and the bec is 5.8 volts 3 amps so that's

nice I can make the servo work really hard that's

good thing now going over the weight of the motor this is 182 grams and the ESC

is 83 grams and together a set up of 265 grams but to make that esc

program you need a programming card because there's no programming button on the ESC

with the programming button you gotta a low voltage cut off that is a bit on

the low side 2.7 to 3.1 and I prefer 3.5v actually but 3.3 as a

minimum would be a lot better then of course here you got stop modes medium

soft and strong that is for acceleration and maximum braking yeah this of course

breaking of the motor so this is good for jumpers they would like to control

but stock is set at 50% but I will put it setting back at 25% and then go

from there and if I don't like it then bump up the rates and it's the same with

maximum force so the higher you set it the faster we'll go into reverse and

then the neutral range and this for the how smooth work together with your remote

control so it's your transmitter but this really nice setup good tool for crawlers

and drifters they like their own kind of setup that's for another

video because this is gonna be taking way too long

let's get it on and listen make it run I'm running the motor and see how smooth

it is

hopefully later on put some extra heat shrink over them to make it really

really water tight and we are going to hook up a Dean connector

you cac feel the fan run really fast and feeling really cold that's nice

getting plenty of air let's test the brushless motor

they almost feel no vibration it runs super smooth good throttle control let's try reverse

that is only at 25% set at stock but you can change that out with the programming card

I hope you liked this review after all the only downside are the wires of the

motor the ESC is pretty good except for the extra a little bit of epoxy that we

need well overall is worth the money I'm gonna be trying that it out on the Feiyue FY03 eagle 3

desert truck I'm gonna test run in the next video and the way how to

install it in a twelve scale truck and these are meant for a 10 scale rc car and a little bit too strong so this

motor is a little bit oversized for my little truck we are going to try anyways it's

still built from a high quality low vibrations I'm really liking it you will

be finding all the details down below in the description this is a nother episode

of how to diy RC I hope you give this video a lot of likes and if you didn't

give it a thumbs Down subscribe for the test drive videos that will be coming up

very soon and there we going more into depth into the programming card

and how to set it up for crawlers drifters and off-road and I want to say

go outside have some fun and good bye until next time
