Golden Cog Awards - 2017 - Duration: 4:30.
Hello and welcome to the debut of the Golden Cog Awards,
a fun roller coaster based community poll
with the aim of accurately representing the people's opinions.
To start with off, we have decided to specifically find the UK's best thrill coaster,
as of 2017.
To do this, we enlisted your help.
If you are active over on my social media channels, you would have seen this poll.
Over 100 people were asked if they had ridden any two of the 23 UK roller coasters
currently shown on screen.
If so, they were then told to list the coasters they had ridden,
from the selection,
in order of best to worse.
Here comes the interesting part.
Instead of using a point based system to score and rank the coasters,
we followed a similar approach to the highly regarded polls run by Mitch Hawker.
In this system,
each roller coaster is evaluated against all of the other roller coasters within the poll.
The placement of the two attractions in the lists submitted by the community
determine the winner.
For example, if The Smiler scored higher than Galactica in someone's list,
we'd tally one point to The Smiler.
This is then done for all of the submitted lists, resulting in either the Smiler or Galactica
winning the head to head.
Once this has been done for all of the attractions,
we use the percentage of battles won to determine the ranking of the coasters.
If one roller coaster has 1 win and 3 losses, it would score 25%.
That being clarified, let's move onto the results.
Before taking a look at the full ranking featuring all 23 roller coasters,
we'll briefly discuss the UK's top 10 thrill coasters as decided by you guys.
10. The Big One
Arguably one of the UK's most iconic roller coasters,
it can be found at the perimeter of Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
9. Nemesis Inferno
Thorpe Park's own take on the classic B&M inverted coaster.
8. Speed: No Limits
Located at Oakwood Theme Park, the ride was the UK's first Gerstlauer eurofighter.
7. Saw: The Ride
The world's first horror film themed roller coaster, also located at Thorpe Park.
6. Oblivion
Found within the X Sector at Alton Towers, the ride is the world's first B&M dive coaster.
5. Megafobia
As of 2017, Oakwood's only wooden coaster is the newest of its kind in the UK.
4. Stealth
The tallest roller coaster at Thorpe Park, and the fastest in the United Kingdom.
3. The Smiler
The world's first 14 inversion roller coaster and Alton Towers current flagship attraction.
2. The Swarm
Thorpe Park's, and the UK's, first and only wing coaster.
And finally, crowned the UK's best thrill coaster by the Coaster Bot community
is Nemesis.
Nemesis, is loved by enthusiasts for it's forceful layout,
interesting terrain and smooth ride experience.
The attraction is highly regarded worldwide as one of the best B&M inverted roller coasters to date.
It may not be the tallest ride, but it packs more than just a punch.
The full ranking, from 1 to 23,
as well as the percentage win scores can be seen onscreen now.
Notable rankings include Colossus, at 23, with a score of less than 3%;
Kumali beating Odyssey by a single place in the battle of the SLCs;
as well as 13, a roller coaster that blurs the line between thrill and family, out placing Rita.
The full list can also be found in the description of this video.
Well, that's been it from the first ever Golden Cog Awards.
Let me know your thoughts of the results,
as well as if you think we should do more polls in the future, in the comments below.
Also, be sure to share the list graphic, again in the description,
with your friends and other enthusiasts.
Thank you watching, and I'll see you all next time.

This Little Calf Goes to Market - Duration: 16:07.
Hi I'm Mike, all year long on the ranch works toward this one day, today.
When calves get brought in, sorted from their moms, loaded on trailers and sold at auction.
It's the ranches one pay day of the year, today on our Wyoming life.
Its early, I'm waiting for the sun to rise a bit so I can see anything out there.
I'm also waiting for help to arrive.
Ive got a few neighbors coming in this morning to help sort calves, Erin will also be out
to help after her mom gets here to hang out with kids.
But its ok that we have a few minutes cause it gives me a chance to hang out with you.
Today is going to be a busy day, well its been a busy week, getting ready to ship calves
off to auction.
Fixing fence, mending corrals and moving cows.
We had an unexpected visitor this week when when blake from the youtube channel guy in
Wy.
Popped into the ranch.
We had talked in the past about doing something together but he was in town and gave me a
call.
We got to hang out for a bit, get to know each other and he even took a look at a leaking
fuel line on a tractor of ours.
If you haven't had a chance to check him out yet please do so, hes right here in Wyoming
also, in fact hes the only other Wyoming youtuber I have met.
He ranches down by Cheyenne and is definitely worth checking out.
I'll add a link to his channel in the description.
After our visit from Blake it was right back to work though as I had to get all the calves
moved up from about 5 miles back on the ranch were they have been spending their summer
with their moms.
Before we even got to the project at hand today, the sorting of calves and loading in
the trucks for auction we have to get the cows and their calves home to the corrals
and loading chutes.
This process starts a few days before sale day.
The cows and calves currently live on a huge expanse of land, roughly 2 miles wide and
2 miles deep.
The goal here is to gather up all the cows and the calves, and start them moving toward
home.
The problem is that they are widely spread out.
The solution to the problem consists of finding the cows and their calves that are farthest
from home and start there, with only a few cows and start them moving toward the gates,
which are miles away.
Its up and down hills, looking in valleys and ravines, searching for any hidden animals.
If a calf gets left behind it will not only be missing when its time to load trucks and
trailers which could and would cost the ranch revenue but a lone calf left down here could
possibly become a target for coyotes and even if we did go back and find it, moving a single
calf is a huge pain as they don't have the herd mentality of the cows.
So in the end its better to take the extra time and make sure they are all together,
where the calves will follow the cows and the cows kinda know where they are going.
It's a long process gathering all the hidden cows and calves but once they are all located
and moving toward one specific gate things get a bit easier.
Most of the cows have been through this many times and know where they are going and in
order to help them along we will use a tractor and a bale of hay to entice them to move where
we want them to go.
Food, as it is for me, is a huge motivator for cows and after a few hours of gathering,
grouping and moving the herd we eventually end up back at what we call our home pasture.
About 400 acres that leads directly into the lot, a 3 acre area that will keep the cows
and calves together until we get to sorting them off.
Getting them into the lot, is a bit more of a trick and one that I cant quite do myself.
Even with food put down to lure them into the area, they don't want to go through
the gate.
Most are happy to just hang out and eat grass, and the calves who haven't been moved too
much just don't understand where we want them to go or what we want them to do.
Luckily Erin sees my plight from the house and hops on a four wheeler to come out and
give me a hand, and within a few minutes we have most of the cows and calves pushed through
the gate, into the new pasture we want them to hang out in overnight.
Tomorrow is the big day and we feed them and make sure they are calmed down before we get
to work.
As the sun begins to rise on sale day, our help arrives and our first job is to sort
the bottle calves.
Sunshine is the only bottle calf that will be staying on the ranch, the rest, yes including
Gunther, will be sold at auction.
This is goodbye to Gunther but it's the way things go around here.
Next year there will be another Gunther and we will go through the whole process again.
It can be sad, selling calves is very bittersweet for me.
I put a lot of work into making sure these calves are healthy and well.
Many of these calves I held in my arms after they were born, bringing them into the shop
or barn for medical attention.
The kids name quite a few and even they have to learn that every calf that is born here
on the ranch means the money to pay a power bill, buy fuel, or fix a tractor.
It's a business and as much as I would love to keep every calf that I grow close to, its
not a realistic idea.
Each calf that we do keep, costs us money and every one has to be worth it.
After the bottle calves are sorted off and loaded in the corral, ready to get on the
truck its time to bring in the rest of the cows and the calves.
Moving them into progressively pastures, into holding corrals where they will be sorted.
Coordination between everyone helping is key here, we are keeping back about 13 calves,
some to complete the kids herds, each of our kids, Mackenzie, Grace and Lincoln have a
herd of 5 cows, whos calves are sold in their names and the money put toward their college
education, other calves are kept to finish and butcher for farmers market sales of beef
next year.
Every one helping needs to know which calves we are going to keep and a list is spread
around so everyone can keep an eye out for those calves and we can sort them into a separate
corral and make sure they don't get on the truck.
The rest of the calves are marked to go to auction and are sorted off of their moms in
the alleys.
Narrow but long strips of corrals, that enable us to push the calves back and hold them while
their moms move past us and to the other end.
Allowing us to then move the calves into a separate corral before moving their moms back
out the other end and back into a holding corral.
Our help working on the back end of the herd in the larger corrals keeps the cows and calves
moving up toward the sorting corrals and the process repeats itself over and over with
loads of 10 to 20 animals until they are all sorted off and the corrals are full of calves.
Just in time as a the trucks arrive and back up to the loading chutes.
We have two semi trucks to load today, each can hold up to about 100 calves.
The trailers themselves are a labyrinth of compartments and a maze of gates, ramps and
holding areas.
Katchina and Shawn are hauling calves for us today.
I'm Katchina, I drive for Fowler Trucking
Based on weight and number it depends. we load from front to back
we load Down first,
then we pull this,
then I'll open this here and we can load the nose deck
we can load about 106 calves
this is the doghouse
for the extra, you can fit 5 or 6 calves up here
We're standing on what they call the top deck
ERIN: And this is the belly?
This is the big long belly
ERIN: How many calves go down in the belly?
32 and 32 are top and bottom deck
in the nose deck will hold 10
12 and 10 in the nose
and then 15 to 17 on the back depending on the size
When Katchina is ready, we had a little conference about the number of calves that we are going
to load in each compartment then we start loading calves, and I try to remember each
group she needs, was it 25 then 25 then 32, then 5?
Well she will yell at me if I'm wrong.
Luckily loading the calves goes smoother than my memory and with the help of our crew, who
has all done this before all the calves are loaded on the two separate trucks and they
head down the road toward South Dakota to our closest sales barn and auction house about
2 hours away.
While the trucks are enroute, we take some time to push the cows out of the corrals and
back out onto to pasture, where they will bawl for their calves until their milk dries
up and they settle down.
We also move our calves we are keeping on the ranch, the steers and the heifers to another
corral where they have food and water.
For the first time in years, Erin and I head over to the auction with, kids in tow, mostly
to take you along with us.
Our auctions are also done on the internet, so we usually stay at home to watch from there.
Another reason we stay home is because the moms who have just lost their calves are going
to be looking for them for the next few days and its better to stay close in case they
take out a fence or something trying to find their babies.
But down the road we go, and into south Dakota and arrive at the sales barn and auction.
Where 9000 calves will be sold today and trucks are everywhere, unloading calves from 3 different
states where they have been raised for this very day.
The sales barn and area its spans over many acres, with hundreds of pens to keep calves
separated by seller on one side of the barn to buyers on the other.
Even as more and more trucks arrive outside, the auction is going on inside and calves
are brought in one side and sold to buyers from all over the area.
It all happens very quickly and after a sale is made, they are moved out the other side
of the barn and into waiting pens where the buyers will pick them up over the next few
days and take them to feedlots where they will be fattened over the next year and eventually
end up in your supermarket.
This whole day brings another season to an end on the ranch, the calves are gone but
the ranch still exists and goes on, which I learned when my phone rang in the middle
of the sale and I found out from one of our hunters that is on the ranch now that a bunch
of cows have broken down fence and gotten into the yard, right up to the shop, our house
and Erins gardens.
Not a good thing and actually could be very bad as cows could do a lot of damage if they
wanted to.
Luckily for us, I was able to call my neighbor Gary to come and help move the cows out of
where they were and back out into the pasture where they were supposed to be.
We decided to leave the auction early and get back to survey the damage where the cows
had broken about 20 feet of fence and needed to be pushed back out and fence needed fixed
to keep them as far as possible from our house, where we are expected to sleep tonight, with
the sound of 160 bellowing moms in the background, needless to say, we will be sleeping with
the tv on tonight, probably pretty loud.
I've heard a lot of ranchers say that today is the day they work all year for, the one
paycheck for the ranch and I can understand that, but I also like to think that today
is the day that allows the ranch to work for all the other incredible experiences that
we get to be a part of.
Feeding cows all winter long, calving in the spring, and cutting hay in the summer.
Living life out here in the rolling hills and tall wheat grass, meeting people and making
friends, just like you.
It's a cycle and the cycle continues, coming up on our Wyoming life we will be getting
ready for winter, finishing steers, working with our remaining calves, fixing water lines,
and apparently mending more fence as well.
Erin has some really cool stuff coming up as we get ready to build a new high tunnel,
she takes a stab at winter growing and a whole lot more.
We've had a few people ask us about getting their very own Our Wyoming Life t-shirt and
I'm proud to announce that just this week we have partnered with amazon to offer Our
Wyoming life t-shirts for sale right on amazon.com.
Head to amazon and search our Wyoming life and you will find them, there.
We are also allowed to submit some of our own designs, so if you have an idea for an
our Wyoming life t-shirt, tell us about it in the comments and we can see if we can make
it happen.
Subscribe and check us out of facebook.
Also make sure you go check out Guy in WY, hes got some really stuff going on as well.
Thanks for being here and thanks for joining us in Our Wyoming Life.

Gambiarra Flakes (WIP) - Duration: 5:02.
This machine gun is a starting weapon. It has good fire rate, but it's only effective in short distance.
The rifle mixes graphics from the alphas and can drop from the Zombieman. It an annoying recoil,
but it's better than the machine gun at greater distances. Maybe I'll lower it's fire rate.
The Wolfenstein SS can drop the MP40 and got the sprites he was missing.
The jukebox was based on the one TerminusEst13 did for his DemonSteele.
The jukebox plays SNES Doom BGM randomly. You can configure keys to skip the current
music or turn it off. There will be settings to enable or disable it by default, on the menu.
The Pistol is a starting weapon as well. I did not take out, nor intend to, anything from Flakes' arsenal.
The MP40 is not exactly from any Doom, but I wanted to put it to make it more complete.
This map is Chex Quest E1M1 kinda converted to be played with The Ultimate Doom.
It has nothing to do with this WAD, but I'm thinking of releasing it to the public as well as the Jukebox.
For now, I'm thinking on adding the Beta's Plasma Rifle and I'm not going to modify the monsters
of the game any further. This way I intend to keep the original Flakes Doom's purpose, which is
provide an arsenal created with elements of various Doom versions, with enhancements and high
compatibility. But I might change my mind about it. It took me a lot of work, but I had fun
bulding this add-on. I also learned a bit of DECORATE and ACS. The credits of the used
used resources are in the description. Special thanks to RiboZurai and GAA1992!

ZAQ - Caste Room - Duration: 4:22.
Twinkling, a butterfly takes to the air
A dust cloud dances across the Earth
Though the sky may be far away, it still longed to reach it
Glaring at the stars won't make them fall
So, how shall we catch them
From down here?
The ultramarine above grows distant
as equality sets a trap beneath
Needles fall all around our room
Shade and sunlight blend
as entropy comes to fruition
Almost as if asking you
how you'll choose to live
With limited freedom
Step by step
bit by bit Take hold of the light!
Change isn't scary,
so complete your evolution!
We'll crawl back up
as many times as it takes
The sky will always be waiting
We're travelers walking across this room called "Earth"
A false sound assails us:
an unstable deception
But we don't think to escape
Accumulating memories here,
the room temperature becomes more pronounced
I'll reach out my hand,
so take hold! You're not alone in this world
I'll fight by your side!
Day by day
we found Something certain,
in a place we felt comfortable
It's because we have bonds
that tie us closer together
Pretense begins to fall away
And our true power is revealed
We're growing closer
to a sky where we belong
Gently, the butterfly asks a flower,
"Are you happy where you are now?"
Turning its back to the sky,
the flower sneered beautifully
But we kick the ground,
following the butterfly's lead,
And take to the sky!
Step by step
bit by bit Take hold of the light!
Change isn't scary,
so complete your evolution!
We'll crawl back up
as many times as it takes
The sky will always be waiting
Standing alone
before a door we can't open ,
As long as I'm with you,
I can attain freedom!

10 DICAS PARA SE LIVRAR DA DEPRESSÃO - Duration: 13:21.
Haaai! Hey, guys. How are you? Welcome to this video!
As already stated in the title, I'm gonna tell you 10 tips to help you get rid of depression,
because, well, we know it's not easy.
Guys, I truly hope you aren't able to listen to this noise in the neighborhood.
The second I turned the camera on, they put "Troinha" to play.
I don't think it'd be nice to be here talking about a serious subject
and Troinha playing in the background.
Just stopped! Sorry.
I lost the control.
I overreacted.
I always overreact... I can't.
I'm depressed since a long time ago. I can't remember not being depressed, actually.
This is since I was a kid.
Although I've been dealing with this since a long time,
even because I'm 19 now,
this year, 2017, so many things happened that made it lots worse.
And that was when I really decided to look for help.
And I've found out some things that would help me a lot
and I decided to bring it here, to try to help you guys too.
I hope you guys get better.
A professional must be watching and thinking:
"Girl, you're talking a lot of bullshit"
So, I'm sorry, I'm not a professional,
I'm just trying to help you guys with tips that work out for me.
Before I start it, I think it's important to establish this fact here:
depression is a disease. It's not "laziness" or the "lack of Jesus".
If you believe one of these things, please, leave. This video isn't for you.
This video is for people who are depressed and are willing to get better.
Like this video now, please, if you don't enjoy it, you can unlike it later, but do it now, please!
And subscribe!
Enough! Let's go to the tips.
The first tip: it's for when you're VERY depressed,
that you really can't find any energy in your body to do anything in your day.
Something that, personally, helps me is stand-up comedy.
I love it, so whenever I'm feeling blue, I look for stand-up comedy videos.
So it'd, at least, bring me some mood. Maybe some laugh.
Of course it's not magic: I'm gonna watch it, feel good
and I'm going out to do stuff and figure my life out.
Nope, it's not like that.
But...
Let's imagine that I'm at the bottom of the well.
I...
find a rope, when I start watching stand-up.
So, at last, I can hold this rope. Then I'll have to make an effort to climb it.
I think you guys got what I meant.
I don't mean you're gonna watch stand-up comedy,
but you can look for something that makes you feel good
and bring you at least a little bit of energy, so you can do something,
so you can be able to hold this rope and have a little bit of strenght
to climb it on your own.
Tip number 2: focus on the present.
When we're depressed, it's very easy for us to remember things
that already happened and put the blame on our own shoulders
or feel sad because of them.
Or get *worried misspelled*
Or getting worried about things we aren't even sure if they're gonna happen.
We're already imagining the worse happening and we're suffering for that.
Also, something that upsets us a lot is the creation of expectations on things
and it doesn't happen the way we were expecting it to happen.
So, if you live in the present, you won't be able to create expectations
on what's happening in the present because it's already happening, got it?
Per example:
Right now I'm recording this video,
my focus is on recording this video. I'm staring at the camera and recording this for you.
So I'm not supposed to think about things that made me upset last week
or even 10 minutes before I start recording this, you know?
Focus on the present.
When something bad happens, it's okay to get upset in the moment
but, guys, move on!
Focus on what's happening in the moment
because it's where happiness can be found.
In the present!
You're not gonna find it in the future, on the expectations you create,
it's not in other people.
It's in the present, it's in what we're living right now.
Focus on the present!
I'm recording this now but I'm not getting worried about the possibilities of bad consequences
from it in the future. If there's any, I'll deal with it, but when it happens.
But enough of getting worried about things that already happened
or about things that may or may not happen.
We don't even know if it's gonna happen and we're already torturing ourselves.
So, let's stop it! Let's enjoy the moments about getting too worried.
But obviously, don't get arrested, for God's sake!
Then you're gonna tell me: "Rebeca, It's your fault"
No, that's not what I'm saying!
But let's live our life better, enjoying the present.
The third tip: say "bye, bye" to toxic people.
If you're in a relationship and this person isn't good for you anymore
or a friendship that isn't as good as it used to be and it's starting to be hurtful,
get away from these people!
Clean your life from bad people and try to meet new people!
Be around people who are good to you.
I know we get attached to people and we believe we can't be without that person anymore.
To be honest, I don't really know. I've never been in a relationship,
but about friendships...
Life punched me in the face a lot. And it hits hard, isn't it?
I know how it feels to get attached to people and realizing that
that person isn't that good for us anymore.
And we know we should get away from them,
but, at the same time, we don't want to.
But we have to! For our own sake! For our own happiness!
We have to look after our happiness. It's our life.
We'll meet new people and they'll be good for us.
Maybe after a while they'll become toxic people as well, it happens, that's life!
But maybe not, okay?
So we have to do this cleaning of toxic people in our life often
because we have to be around good people always.
Also, we have to learn to give these people the value they deserve.
Our parents, per example. They're always with us, most part of times.
Tip 4: Now you said goodbye to toxic people,
change the places you go to.
If you used to go to... I don't know... A night club,
go to a Forró (brazilian genre) concert.
It's just an example, you don't have to like forró.
Just an example of changing the places you go.
Then you will meet new people and expand your universe.
Because I believe everyone owns an particular universe inside
and it's about culture. The more culture we have, bigger this universe is.
And I find it very important for us to meet new people, places and customs.
It's good for the soul.
Tip 5: Exercise!
Exercising is something good for your body and also your brain.
So it'll be good for your self-esteem, you'll feel better about your body
and it's something that will be awesome for your mind!
Also, when you're exercising for your mood and mind,
you have a different energy to do it.
If you're not into gym's, you could run;
if you're not into running, you could dance;
if you're not into dancing, you could go to fight clubs...
The important thing is to sweat.
It'll be very good for us.
Tip 6: Question your thoughts.
"Rebeca, what do you mean 'questioning my thoughts'?"
When we're depressed, some thoughts come out of nowhere
blaming on us, telling us we're a little piece of sh*t.
But you have to learn to question yourself.
"From where did this thought come from? Why did it even come?"
Per example: let's imagine you were arguing with a friend...
Then when this fight is over, you're like:
"My Gosh! What the f*ck have I done? All I do is sh*t in this life and etc"
Wait, my voice was gone.
It's because I'm nervous.
But then you have to question yourself whenever a thought like that come up.
"Oh, I messed everything up!"
Ask yourself: "Why did I mess everything up?"
"Ah, because I said something I wasn't supposed to"
"But is this messing everything up? Was I really wrong for saying that?"
Question your thoughts, because depression likes to create this paranoia in our heads...
that we're doing everything wrong, that we're not worth anything.
So we have to question and fight against these thoughts
even because, in the most part of times, things weren't really that bad, like "Gosh!!"
Guys, we're just human beings. Human beings mess things up all the time
and it doesn't mean we don't deserve to be happy
or don't deserve someone's friendship...
If this person wants to get away from you, it's its problem.
This person is who's missing all you have to offer from you.
Because you know you have a true friendship, or lots of love to offer...
If this person doesn't want it from you, it's not your problem.
Let it go!
This person isn't meant to be in your life.
You deserve someone who - not only wants everything you've got to offer,
but also wants to give it back to you.
Tip 7 is...
I forgot.
Tip 7: Be focused on something.
I know it must be hard to think about something to focus, or the future,
when we're depressed...
But we have to look for something to focus on
because whenever things go wrong, we'll have something keeping us going,
pushing us, not allowing us to fall.
Sometimes things happen and we feel like there's no floor,
like if we were falling and there was no one there, there was no floor to stop us from falling.
So it's very important to focus on something, because we'll have something there to stop us.
Focus on studying or on your child... Something like that, to keep you going.
Look for something to focus on in your life.
Tip 8: don't pressure yourself too hard.
As I just said, it's important for us to focus on something
but it's also important to don't pressure yourself too hard, you know?
It's okay. If things go wrong, it's okay. If you messed things up, it's okay.
We are just human beings. And it will be okay.
Take your time. Step by step.
If someone's pressuring you, talk to this person, like:
"Dude, I'm not fine. Please, stop pressuring me or I'll get worse. I need a break."
If this person doesn't listen to you, tell it to f*ck off, for God's sake.
Just kidding, don't do it.
Or maybe do it.
But depending on who it is, don't do it.
Just avoid it. Learn to ignore it.
Tip 9 is...
I forgot it again! Oh, Rebeca! Oh, poor creature!
Tip 9: Be around nature and animals.
It's a personal tip, actually. I feel good around nature and animals,
and it includes insects, like little ants... Cockroaches I'm still afraid of them
but I'm trying to get over it by thinking "it's just a creature God made"
It doesn't look like it was made by God, though. But I'm trying.
But I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels good around the nature and animals.
Look for outdoor places, where you could go in an afternoon, maybe.
A park, maybe.
Having a pet at home helps too.
In case you can't have a pet because your parents won't allow it,
you guys could visit a place where there'd be animals there.
Per example: close to where I live now, there's this park that I love to go to,
it's called Jaqueira Park.
And in the front of this park, there is the ParCão. It's a park for dogs, only.
I can't have a dog in this house, my dog is at my parent's.
There's a kitten, though. And he likes me a lot, thank God.
We get along very well!
But, still, I'm a dog person.
So, I'm always so happy to be around this ParCão, you know?
I see so many puppies, so many doggos!
Then I get very...
Doggos!!
Guys, it makes me so happy!
Anyway, I hope it helps you too.
Tenth and last tip: it's for you to sleep better.
It's very normal that someone who's depressed sleeps more or less than it is supposed to.
So this tip is for you to sleep better! It works with me, at least.
Not always, though. It's not *everyday misspelled*
It doesn't work with me everyday, but it has been working lately and it's already...
It is listening to mantras to sleep. I'll let the link of one of them in the description.
It's the one I like the most, the little sounds...
But if you search on YouTube "antidepressant mantras" or "mantras to sleep",
you can listen to it and I find it very helpful.
So, that's it, guys!
I hope you enjoyed this video and I hope this video helps you!
Comment if you enjoyed my tips, and if you're already doing some of them,
let me know if it's making any difference for you.
I'll be very glad to know I've helped someone.
If you enjoyed this video and want more, please, don't forget to like it
because I need to know if you enjoyed it so I can record more videos like this.
I have too many tips to get rid of depression. And, anxiety!
I could record a video with tips to get rid of anxiety, too.
It's something I also deal with.
For God's sake, subscribe!! Bring this lady some joy!!
If you wanna follow me on Instagram, it's beckymorais.
My CuriousCat in case you wanna send questions anonymously or not, it's also beckymorais.
Just one more little thing: my instagram is private now,
because recently I've created a new account and I made it private
exactly because I'm getting away from toxic people
and there are some people I want to leave them out of it
so, for now, it's private. But for you guys, no problem at all.
Everyone here can follow me, it's not a problem.
I just want some people far away and eople who are close to these people as well.
Take this tip!
So, that's it! See you in my next video! Xoxo.

Notable rankings include Colossus, at 23, with a score of less than 3%;
Kumali beating Odyssey by a single place in the battle of the SLCs;
as well as 13, a roller coaster that blurs the line between thrill and family, out placing Rita.

Catherine Palin Brinkworth - Trouble Staying Committed Don't Forget Your Passion - Passion Sundays - Duration: 4:22.
hello everyone and welcome back to passion Sunday's the best way to end the
week start another our guest today is a special leadership mentor who
specializes in growth Catherine thank you very much for being with us today my
great pleasure mr. leadership and growth two powerful things for people and for
organizations absolutely it's critical I can tell you that from my 40 odd years
of commercial experience but 28 focusing in this particular area that every
single organizational failure is a leadership failure and what I love to
help people do is to grow their businesses grow their organizations grow
their performance through understanding really principles around evolution in a
way that not to happen Eden cliche don't people don't write off because they've
heard them all before nice and again leadership is is a fairly cliched topic
and everybody says every next person is a leadership coach it comes a the
easiest thing because it's sellable every organization wants somebody to
talk about leadership but how many people can walk the talk no that's right
so I guess for me it started off with political leadership when I was very
young I very boldly and bravely took leadership of a political organization
and learned a lot that led to commercial leadership in management and then senior
management in national management ranks throughout Australia and started my own
business and very quickly before I even knew it was working with
leaders i've been national president of our own particular organization and
international president of the global speakers federation and have led another
organization worldwide as well so i'm used to leading volunteers as well as
enrolled commercial team members and i've learned so much that i love to pass
on my great passion is in the study of quantum physics i hold a master's degree
of applied science and applying the principles of creation to actual
business strategy is huge fun I love it this is I love it too yeah so
what in your opinion what differentiates a passionate leader from just a leader
because in my books they're two totally different things absolutely so my
initials Mustafa are CPB and that stands for clarity passion and belief and it
starts with the clarity knowing what it is that matters to you and then making
sure it matters so much that you will make yourself uncomfortable for it I get
concerned that people will sign up for things as long as they're comfortable
and when it stops being comfortable when the Hollywood happy ending disappears
then people give up and walk away whether it's relationships or businesses
or team commitment and when the passion is so deeply embedded and continually
revived that it isn't forgotten or ever left behind then the continual evolution
just takes you to another level I love it so stay with your passion until the
continual evolution gets you to where you become a leader yes and when the
passion starts to wane and we know when it does go back and remind yourself what
it was that drove you in the first place or what would happen if you didn't do
this work or what in the world would suffer because you weren't any longer
passionately committed and continually revived that passion until you find the
joy again which continues to rekindle the passion I love it thank you very
much this has been a phenomenal interview thank you my pleasure
thank you passion what do you think I hope you found this useful on pursuing
leadership and passionate leadership if so write your comments on the blog below
and do share it with your friends and if you'd like more tools tips techniques
and exclusive interviews that I only put on my website go to Mustafa comm and
until next episode live passionately you

Videos You Hate - Chansplaining - Duration: 7:50.
- Hey welcome back to Chansplaining.
It's me Christian,
your visual anthropologist here at Cut.com.
And I'm here to chansplain some shit to you.
(bright music)
(bell dings)
(bell dings)
(bell dings)
(Bells dinging)
It is totally okay if you hate our videos.
No one is pointing a gun to your head
and telling you to enjoy them.
No one is even telling you to watch them.
Except the name of our channel is WatchCut.
Well without further ado, here are some of the videos
that you complained about the most.
One.
Black parents explain how to deal
with the police to their kids.
- For some reason, people of color
have always been a target by the police.
- Before they became a policeman,
they were a person.
And that person took all their ideas
and all their thoughts,
and all their prejudice into their job.
- The disconcerting thing about some
of these comments was a suggestion
that we had staged this
and that these parents were traumatizing their children
and scaring them unnecessarily.
To that I say, "What do you think
"looked scarier, these parents sitting down
"in a safe environment with their children
"having an open conversation
"about their fears and anxieties
"or the world in which we live in,
"in which black people are murdered all the time
"by the police state on tv."
- I got tased that time,
because they said I wasn't complying.
(girl cries) What's wrong baby?
- I stand by this video, I love this video.
I'm really grateful to the families
that came in and shared this intimate moment with us.
They didn't have to do that.
And they did.
Okay, another series that I know a lot of you hated.
(bright music)
Psychics Read the News.
- What we're called on to do right now
is to listen with integrity.
- The real commentary in Psychics Read the News.
We actually as a society all tune in to CNN or to Fox News
or to Breitbart or whatever and we too watch people
who are somehow endowed with magical ability
to predict and forecast the future of politics.
I can get that it's not for everybody.
We're just saying that we have this channel
in which what we literally do is celebrate the complexity
and diversity of human experiences.
And you should know that if you come to our channel
you're going to see all kinds
of people doing all kinds of things.
- [Interviewer] Christopher Columbus.
- Ugh.
- Two years ago we released a video series called One Word
in which we invited Native Americans to come
and response to historically charged,
politically charged words.
And the one that by far had the most viral impact
was these folks' responses to the name Christopher Columbus.
- It always was weird to me
to have that day off in celebration of somebody like
we don't have a day for Hitler but
you know it's the same thing.
- We got so much feedback.
So many people had so many things to say
when they shared this video on Facebook.
What really disturbed me was to see
that so many people were immediately defensive.
Just at the mere fact that they had to sit
and bear witness to what these people actually felt.
If you watch this video
and you felt personally attacked
as a person that's not Native American,
then I would just ask you to consider
why these people feel the pain
of hearing this person's name
and hearing it be celebrated.
All we're asking you to do is just to listen
and to bear witness to what these people have to say.
You don't even have to agree.
You just have to hear it.
Okay, there's one video that you all hated.
Spoiler Alert!
- Santa Claus is not real.
- I completely understand why this might have been troubling
or challenging video for some people.
I'm not sure why people are so upset though.
What the video shows us is
that the kids actually have their own agency.
(boy buzzes)
- Wrong Santa Claus is real.
- Santa Claus is not real.
- You're not telling the truth.
Santa's real.
- Maddox to the very end still believes in Santa.
And believes that his parents
are the ones pulling the conspiracy
on him to defraud Santa.
I get why you're upset about that stuff.
But I never believed in Santa.
I'm just saying.
By far the most disliked video of all time.
- We are gonna be talking about masturbation.
- Parents explain masturbation.
We actually do need to have really frank conversations
about sex and sexually with children.
Even if we think they're maybe not ready
to handle the full truth
because we need to give them language
and vocabulary to talk about their bodies and about sex.
- Mom?
Do you
mastur-- (woman laughs)
- A lot of people commented that these children
were being sexually exploited by us
and by their parents and that this was victimizing them.
I see it a different way.
Right.
These parents were sitting down
with their children having a conversation
that was awkward as hell.
- And he'll take his penis and like hold it in his hand.
- But in the process gave these kids language
and vocabulary to talk about their own bodies.
They need to have that language
so they can feel comfortable talking
to their parents when something does go wrong.
- If you're in the mood and no one's around.
- Do it. - You can masturbate
right?
- Yeah.
- Right? - Yeah.
- Yeah. - Yeah.
- Yeah. - Yeah.
- So I think it's really important.
Well I think it's that time again
at the end of every episode
I should read some comments from the peanut gallery.
(bright music)
"This country is way too sensitive now.
"Everyone has to find something to bitch and debate about."
I'm confused by this comment
because it suggests we didn't have anything
to bitch or complain about before this present moment
or that actually the composition of civil society
wasn't already debate and conflict, which it is.
I think those of us that are maybe more hardened by it
are more likely to engage with it.
But it's really those of you who have no skin in the game
that are probably more likely to complain
about all of the complaining.
So what else?
Okay, so we made that 100 people video
where we asked like further worst things
that people have done.
"What if WatchCut is just a group of cops
"and they ask these questions
"and arrest people with illegal answers?"
We're not cops.
We're not narcs.
And they weren't under oath
and none of this is admissible
because there's no resemblance to reality.
Okay, here's a good comment.
From Jon Stouffer, nice German name you've got there.
"JewTube at its finest involving preteen kids
"and sexual content not one but two times.
"These kids are barely ten.
"Extra ghoulish.
"The clear-cut creepy attitude
"of the parents is sickening.
"This channel is sickening.
"Jews are sickening.
"Fuck JewTube."
Alright, what do you think is a more likely scenario?
That there are people making content
in the world that you don't agree with.
With their own complex motivations
and different interests
or that there is a huge Jewish conspiracy
to subvert all of the norms of society
and we're doing it by making YouTube channels
in which we promote our horrible Jewish ideology.
Don't know what to say about that.
My phone died, so I can't read anymore comments.
That's enough right?
Thanks so much for watching Chansplaining.
I promise you that we'll make more videos
that you'll hate
and some that you'll like.
See you in hell.
I'll see you in hell.
I'll see you in hell.
I'll see you in hell.
I'm sorry.

MAX (Ciroc Remix) Lyrics
[Verse 1] I've had it, that feeling
Like I can't go on Like I can't keep breathing
But I keep climbing Don't look back now
Make my mark and I won't back down
[Pre-Chorus] Yeah, I've heard their doubts
Think I won't amount, to anything But I prove 'em wrong, yeah
Let 'em hear my thunder roar This what they've been waiting for
[Chorus] So stop, drop
They never gonna take me They never gonna break me, no
Swinging 'till I hit the floor Stop, they never gonna hurt me
Get stronger when they burn me, oh And I am indestructible
[Verse 2] I've felt it, depleting
Like I can't keep pushing Got nothing left to believe in
But then I find it I'm ready to attack now
Make my mark and I ain't never gonna back down
[Pre-Chorus] Yeah, I've heard their doubts
Think I won't amount, to anything But I prove 'em wrong, yeah
Let 'em hear my thunder roar This what they've been waiting for
[Chorus] So stop, drop
They never gonna take me They never gonna break me, no
Swinging it till I hit the floor Stop, they never gonna hurt me
Get stronger when they burn me, oh And I am indestructible
[Post-Chorus] No, no, no
You know I am indestructible They never gonna tame me now

7 Reasons We NEVER Hear About Miley Cyrus' Little Sister! - Duration: 5:25.
7 Reasons We Never Hear About Miley Cyrus' Little Sister
7.
She's Run Into Some Legal Troubles- Back in the summer of 2016, Noah and her mom found
themselves in hot water after the mother and daughter duo were being sued over an alleged
car crash that was caused by Noah.
EJ Hawkins, a victim of the accident stated Noah was driving a jeep with her mother sitting
on the passenger's side when he was suddenly hit while traveling in his car on the 101
freeway in L.A. He attributed the crash to Noah texting and stated that he had to be
examined in the hospital where he suffered physical pain, loss of affection and loss
of love as a result.
The incident happened a month later after Noah was spotted with her older sister Miley
driving around town, which violated the terms of a driver's permit.
She was fifteen at the time and was not allowed behind the wheel until she was sixteen and
had an adult driver twenty-five or over to supervise.
6.
She's Preoccupied Recording New Songs- Noah released her new single called "Make me
(Cry) featuring UK singer Labrinth back in 2016.
The song is the first one from her studio album NC-17, and it reached number forty-six
on the peak chart positions.
The song also has more than forty million views on Youtube since it was posted in late
November of that year and we can see where Noah gets her musical skills from.
The song is about being in a complicated relationship, and many fans were also surprised when she
delivered an emotional acoustic performance on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show.
Many people likened her voice to her big sister Miley, and the audience gave her favorable
comments about her vocals.
5.
She's Still Trying to Make A Name For Herself- The youngest Cyrus member has yet to establish
an extensive career.
She first started acting in the Canadian series Doc, making guest appearances alongside her
father, Billy Ray.
She also made appearances in Hannah Montana before landing the main voice role in the
2008 Japanese animated movie Ponyo.
Other minor television roles Noah also starred in was The Joey & Elise Show, The Hugo & Rita
Show and Take 2.
Despite having an early start in the world of acting, Noah is still in the works of establishing
her career in film and tv, but coming from a family who's been in show business I'm
sure she won't have any trouble catching more roles.
4.
She's Occupied With Her Horses- In the summer of 2016, Noah hit a rough patch in life when
she was forced to say goodbye to her animal companion, Constantine.
Her horse had developed a tumor, and she wanted to spare him the pain and suffering, so she
made the difficult choice to put him down.
Noah took to Instagram to express her heartbreak and thank her horse for all the fun times
they shared during her childhood.
The starlet told Horse Nation magazine back in 2013 that she was the happiest when she
was spending time with her horses and even thought about going to the Olympics for riding
and becoming a trainer.
Noah is an avid equestrian and competed at a horse show back in 2012 with her horse Comet.
Horses have always been an important part of her and her family's life, especially
since they had grown up with animals when they lived on a 500-acre farm near Nashville,
Tennessee.
3.
She's Busy Campaigning for PETA- Back in 2015, Noah partnered up with PETA to pose
in a controversial advertisement for the campaign that features her as a departed corpse being
dissected in a classroom laboratory.
In the spread, she is seen with her chest exposed and the skin peeled back exposing
her body organ.
Her skin is pale, and she is surrounded by surgical tools and animal dissection books.
The ad states, " I am not a classroom experiment, and neither are cats, frogs, rats, pigs, etc.
Please choose not to dissect."
Cyrus went on to say that if you feel weird about dissecting something, say no.
She hopes her stance encourages students to refuse to examine animals if they are against
it.
A few years ago, Cyrus also starred in a PETA Kids video against circus animal cruelty,
citing that the circus takes away an animal's habitat and home and that they deserved to
be free.
2.
She's Being Compared to Miley- For those of you who have older siblings, you know the
pain of always being compared to them and their achievements.
Well the same goes for celebrity siblings but with Miley and Noah, there's no sibling
rivalry here.
In fact, Noah goes on to say that her older sister is supportive of her and even advised
her to refrain from googling yourself since there are many internet trolls and haters.
Noah says she has her big sister to thank for the guidance and tips but states she is
also aware of the sister comparisons.
She said she acknowledges that people will assume that they sound alike and that it doesn't
bother her or surprise her.
Because she hails from a prosperous family of musicians, sometimes being compared to
your family isn't always a bad thing.
1.
She's Still Trying to Grow Up- Born in 2000, the starlet is one year shy of her eighteenth
birthday and still has a lot of growing up to do.
At only 17 years old, her music career is off to a great start, but she is also still
a teen who is enjoying the world around her.
Growing up in the public eye isn't always easy, and the constantly being watched by
the media and the paparazzi can be draining and annoying.
The pressures of Hollywood can break anyone down, so many people claim that Noah starting
her career in her late teens was a smart move; unlike her older sister Miley who has been
under the spotlight she was preteen and has been the subject of gossip and media frenzy.
At least at eighteen, Noah will be a blossoming adult with a fresh start ahead of her.
I'm sure we can expect great things from her.

How I Make My Protective Loc Twists Last up to 2 Months * Loc Maintenance Tip | LaNomRah - Duration: 11:57.
Hey guys welcome back to my channel today, I am going to be showing you how I put my locs
Into these protective twists. Now as you can see
They're just basically
Like you know rope twists or whatever, and there's nothing really extra special about it
I was having this convo with my mom while I was doing her hair
and she was telling me that she went to a stylist that had done twists on her hair the twist didn't last as long as
mine do when they twist a twist her hair basically the same method that I use for mine and the way that I twist
Allows these to last in my hair for
Up to two months at a time
now if you are moderately active or not really active at all these will last you up to two months if
You engage in a lot of physical activity?
Whether that is your work-out
Or you have a very active
lifestyle or job these may last you up to a month especially if you include some of the
Methods that I've shared here on the channel
to help keep your scalp clean if you want to see those methods check them all after this video the link will be in the
description bar below
Now this may seem like totally
run-of-the-mill
Everyday kind of like what's so special about these twists that I have. Of course you'll get your fuzziness
But having your locs in these twists will also allow you to
Wash your hair, clean in between, and stuff like that with these twists. As I would have told you in the past
I do not wash my hair that often and
that isn't something that I recommend for everyone because
You know me not washing my hair very often, that is due to me not having a very active lifestyle at this point in time
When I get back into working out in the gym that
schedule for me washing my hair will basically change. If you would like to find out how I
Put my locs into these twists and get them to stayfor an extended period of time without much worry
Stay tuned and check
Out this video and while you're here
Don't forget to go ahead and subscribe and click that notification bell so that when I upload you will have that
Notification pop right up and let you know something new is happening on this channel. Okay, so without further ado
Thanks for watching. Don't forget to subscribe hit that thumbs up button as well
It really helps the channel and I hope to see you in the next one
Hey guys
So typically this is how I wear my hair when I have these twists in I just put them up into a ponytail and fluff
Them as I want to just to get the look that I'm going for so here
I took a twist down to show you guys closely what I'll be doing. Typically this will be happening right after I retwist and
Ideally a retwist would be happening as soon as I get out of the shower so my hair would still be damp
So just remember that you don't want to work with dry hair
So even if it is that you've already retwisted just make sure to dampen your hair a bit and that will really actually help
Your twists, once you do a twist out, to be really defined. So what I like to use is a mixture of deep
conditioner and water or a hydrating mist from Naturalicious
if you have and one that you like feel free to use that. I also like to use my homemade mixture of oil to
Get my scalp together
Get the ends
Moisten up the ends and just make sure that the hair is hydrated this also helps it to
You know come out curly when I'm ready to take these down in a few weeks, so
If you look closely you will see that all my locs are retwisted or relocked in
One direction and that would be to your left or to my right
They're all going in the same direction and this is important for the actual rope twist or senegalese twist that we're about to do
So I'm showing you how I retwist them, and they're all going in that one direction
So another thing that you want to make sure of is that your locs each individual loc is
Kind of freshly twisted in terms of like not having them too loose so that they come undone
These in this part are so small I'll be using six locs for this twist and
Some of these up here have four in the twist, and you know it's totally up to you how many
you want to put in each twist
they're so small over here that I'll be using three and
Three. So I try to make them about as even as possible in terms of size
So I just make sure that all of them are done
Snugly in the direction that I want them to go
Like I said try to make them as even as possible
Some of you may have you know like the thinner locks on the side like I do
So once you have made sure that all of them are
Twisted as snugly as they can be without
Being too tight you're just gonna finger roll gently in the same direction as what you retwisted the locs
Just like that so I'll be retwist
I'll just be finger rolling or finger twirling to my right. See so everything is going to the right here from how I
retwisted. Now to make my senegalese or rope twist or whatever you want to call it two strands
I actually take the twist in the opposite direction
From what
They were twisted in so
basically, I am now twisting it and
While I am twisting in the
opposite direction
I
am also
twisting the hair itself and
The reason why I like to twist in the opposite direction is that
When you twist your hair springs back to loosen up
And when it does that to spring back, you know to loosen up the actual twist that you made when it's
unfurling the rope twists
It's actually tightening your loc so your loc stays
Looking neat and fresh for longer. If you are twisting
Right so everything is going to the right. I twist to the right and then I continue and twist to the right like that
Right?
Now when you let the the loc sit, the rope twist sit
and it does that thing where it you know it just springs back a little bit and just
Untwists just a little bit, so it comes to its resting place
you're actually untwisting your loc. And it'll be harder to tell because I
Just took down a loc
That was already dry
But when your hair is wet and your gel or whatever you're using
On your locs hasn't set you will be able to tell that this has become loose and it will be more
pronounced. Like I said, I just
Gently finger twirl everything in the direction that it has been twisted already
And then then when I go to do the two strand twist. I am taking it in the opposite direction
Hopefully this is making sense. So as I am also twisting these I am also
Twisting the strands that I have - the locs in between my hands so as I'm coming this way I am
twisting like that well and
Twisting like that and I'm not pulling too tightly on my roots or anything like that
You always want to give your hair enough space
To breathe and do what it's going to do, but as I am doing that as you can see?
both
sections I am twisting
at the same time
At first it may take a little bit of time to get the hang of these twists
because it may be that you end up going in the opposite direction from what you're used to but once you figure it out and
You get the hang of it you should be a-okay
And you should be able to breeze through these twists with no issue
I know there are some people who will be skeptical about keeping twists in your hair for two months at a time
That is your right to be skeptical
But just bear in mind not to be too judgmental because this is something that could be helpful for someone with chronic illness
Medical issues or a disability and you know if they have locs and still want to maintain their hair
This could be something that could be helpful, so please reserve your judgment for some other forum
Use a rubber band to secure it wrap that a few times and that's it as you can see from the twisting
It will be kind of tight here from going in the opposite direction
And it's almost like you're undoing the twist that you made for each loc the retwist, but then when you let your hair go
You see how it springs in that direction
which
Would be undoing the rope twist right loosening up the rope twist at the root
But tightening your individual loc. It doesn't seem like anything major
Or any rocket science or anything, but I found out doing my locs like this, and I've been doing this for ages
My twist lasts for months I can go back in and do my little scalp cleanse I've shown you here on the channel before
you
know any kind of cleansing for the scalp dry cleansing
Any of those things that don't require washing... OR *even* washing [as well].
But I found that
This way helps to keep the twist in tact and they're not
undoing and getting extra fuzzy extra fast, if that makes sense. So
That's about it quick easy and simple once you get a hang of it
I assure you that you will be right on the money it may take a little time
Personally for me what feels weird is when I am doing someone else's hair, and then I have to go in and twist
With this same method it feels weird to me because it always ends up feeling like the opposite direction from what I usually twist
So in some regard if you're doing this on someone else or on your hair either way
One of them is going to feel weird at some point in time
But aside from that like I said
my hair stays
This is
Two days old now on this retwist that I have here
um
smells great and
It's still intact and you know barely any fuzzies
And I have a lot of just free flying new growth right now. Guys
I hope this video was helpful if you do decide to try this out and let me know how it works for you
Comment below and let me know if you have any other special tips for you know getting your protective styles to stay
Longer let me know what you think about this video
Don't forget to go ahead and subscribe give this video a thumbs up and check out my other videos up here on the channel

Yeah, let's hope that was the right corner that I was pointing to. Anyway guys. Thanks for watching, and I will see you

I said it was nothing, and shut my mouth.
The truth is I kind of want to stop my legs.
Even then, since you go
straight ahead of me at a quick pace,
I'm staring at that.
You get on the last flight,
you're leaving me,
and I start to run,
the ground is slowly going out of place.
I shouldn't cry.
But the truth is I wanna say it.
Don't go.
You're vanishing toward the distance.
You're leaving me,
and I can't see you at all anymore.
The night is crumbling.
I shouldn't cry.
But the truth is I wanna say it.
Don't go.
If the festival ends,
it'll be the same as always.
I knew that an unchanching night would come.
Even then, you look far more cute
than you usually do,
and I am staring at that.
Only time is passing.
It's taking me with it.
Although the way home is dark,
I wonder if it'll be alright alone.
I'm shined on by the streetlights
and shadows are coming out.
I'm all alone, see.
You're vanishing toward the distance.
You're leaving me,
and the night is perfectly blurring this time around too.
I shouldn't cry.
But the truth is I wanna say it.
Don't go.
You're vanishing toward the distance.
You're leaving me,
and the night is perfectly blurring this time around too.
I shouldn't cry.

Rapalje performs at Kultur auf den Halligen, Hallig Langeness - Rapalje Show #32 - Duration: 11:30.
Welcome to another Rapalje Show
And this time we're going to open a present again
And we take you to a very special event
on an island that's not an island
called "Kultur auf den Halligen"
Like you've seen: Some things are special and different than other concerts
Like unloading with a tractor on stage
And this day is going to be a very special adventure
And I show you some more videos later on this Rapalje Show
But first I have to open up a present
And I don't know whom it's from because there is no..
..adres on it
Except for the address where you can send presents to
So let's open this present!
Ahh, Rapalje burned on a piece of wood. This is a nice thing for the cupboard
Let's see if there is a note inside
And its a note in Dutch. It's not a very long note so I will read it to you
Hello Rapalje
I'm Nathalie and a big fan of you music
I've got a hobby: burning in wood and I practice a lot with burning in wood
I'm looking for images that are hard to do
And that are challenging for me
Lately I found a piece of wood and I thought immediately of a logo from you with many lines
That's hard to get straight
This is the logo I used
I got started right away and I think I succeeded in doing a fine job
I hope you think it's beautiful too. Yours, Nathalie van Zeventer
Thank you very much, Nathalie. And I will hang it behind me at the cupboard
At this concert at Langeneß in the Halligen
it was the first time that I had a new camera
So as we walked around on this beautiful day I had to try and test it
because it was really the first time I used it
So let's see the next video
So after this lovely day we had to eat and because we have the cards like this
"Artist" is written on it
We can eat for free mostly on gigs
So let's throw it to the bunch, to the rest
That was not good but I will hang it later
So.. let's eat!
And then te guests arrive and they had to take the same route as we did because
we had to travel there by boat and so did our guests
And some guests stayed at the island, which was not an island
But something else, I will explain you after this small video
But the guests also had to go on the boat
to the concert and at the end of the night they had to go back again on the boat
So after we've eaten we had to prepare ourselves at the backstage
And we also enjoyed a lovely evening with a very nice sunset
And then we take you backstage
to prepare for our concert on the island that's not an island
I was wearing this T-shirt before in a Rapalje Show
And I forgot to mention the band from this T-shirt
I'm not working with a script
So sometimes I forget something. Not now
This is the band called "Pur Pur" and we know them from the "Mittelalterlich Phantasie Spectaculum"
in Germany
And this is their music:
And also check out their video in our Rapalje Show T-shirt playlist here on YouTube
So why is this island not an island?
There's one reason because it's an island
sometimes. Like in the summertime when we were there
And when the water is not so high
But sometimes, specially in the winter
It happens a lot: the water gets so high
Like, too high
That the island, that's not an island
floods with water
And then they have these small "Halligen". They're little hills
with a couple of houses on them
What you see is only water
with some very small islands which are not islands
because they're called "Halligen"
With some houses on it
And then, when they want to visit their neighbours on the other
houses on the islands that's not islands
They have to go by boat. I think it's vey nice in the winter and very
adventurous to visit your neighbours
So now it's evening and the water didn't rise so high that day
So it was still an island but not an island
And we were going to perform and it was a very special performance
because the sheep were outside like you saw on the video
We were in the inside of the barn where normally the sheep lives
And so we are very happy and thankful to the sheep
That we were allowed to play in their homes with
a couple of very nice guests and we had a very nice and lovely evening
So enjoy the rest of the concert and the afterparty we had on that night
So be easy and free and I meet you in the next video

It Was Worth The Wait - Duration: 3:36.
When Wendy wrote me back...and it was November 16, 2016...the reason this is
interesting to me now about the numbers is because she has let me know that my
grandfather Joe was really big on numbers. His birthday was on the 17th, his wedding
date was 17th, my grandmother's birthday's the 17th. And she said, "If Grandma does
not die on the 17th, he's going to lecture her about how she messed their tombstone
up because he's really big on numbers." And so the fact that I wrote her on the
16th and she wrote me back on the 16th was kind of cool after that story.
But then I later found out that Joe, my grandfather, loved Taco Bell,
which is so funny. You know, it's just a taco chain restaurant,
but he loved it. And I had gotten off work, did not have dinner plans made for
the family. And so I called my husband and I said, "I'm just going to run over to
Taco Bell and grab some tacos for us for dinner." So I'm in the Taco Bell
drive-thru, and there's, like, four or five cars in front of me before I can even
get to the speaker to order.
So I'm just sitting there in idle time, and I grab my cellphone,
and I see this little red dot on Facebook Messenger. Well, now a month has passed,
so my thought is not that it would be Wendy. My thought is that it would be any
of my other friends sending me stuff on Facebook. And I open it,
and there was the response letter from Wendy. And so I received this in the Taco
Bell drive-thru, and I'm wanting to read it. But it's really long,
and so I'm having to, like, try to read and pay attention to cars moving forward
and pay attention to what I'm going to order. And so it's so funny that that's
where I got it, that's where I received it. Again, it's just a very serendipitous
moment that may seem like something really small to other people, but, to me, I just
have no doubt that Joe was involved in that and a part of this and just loving
that moment, right? So that's where I was when I got the letter.
I started to read it and realized it was long, and I actually closed it.
So after I was going to pick up the tacos, I needed to drive to my daughter's
daycare, and I made the decision that once I got there, I would park and read it
before I went in to go get her. And so the daycare's literally,
like, five minutes away from the restaurant. So I get there. I park,
and I'm sitting out in the parking lot just in the car by myself.
And I'm reading this letter, and I just can't even describe the emotion.
I just started crying. It was so awesome. It was everything that I had wanted and
literally waited for. It was worth the wait. It was totally worth the wait.
