Youtube daily report w Oct 4 2017

Winning both pistol rounds gives you a 68% chance of winning the game, and only a 23%

chance of losing.

This is according to a Reddit post by Physicaque, which documented HLTV's results for 'big

events' in 2016.

This begs the question: Are pistol rounds too important?

And what can be done about them?

The reason winning the pistol rounds makes such an impact is because it isn't just

about the pistol round.

Winning it puts you in a strong economic position for the next while the enemy team has to make

do with far less.

Statistically, this greatly improves your chances of winning both the second AND third

rounds as well!

Do this twice a game and you've effectively got 6 rounds in the bag and less than a 25%

chance of losing the game as a whole.

A pretty big advantage to be had from what is effectively 2 rounds of work.

When you think about it, is it any wonder that the team that wins both pistol rounds

is more likely to win the game?

The better team IS more likely to win both pistol rounds, more often than not, as well

as the game in full!

Valve actually responded to the Reddit post with statistics from 2 million recent competitive

matches.

They reached an almost identical outcome to the original graph.

And although you might think that pistol rounds are the most random bits of the game- I do

too- Valve's results stated otherwise.

They found that the outcome of pistol rounds was no more random than any other round of

the match.

You hear that, people?

Being better at pistol rounds might simply mean that your team is better!

And we've seen in recent updates that Valve are keen to rebalance the pistols.

The glock has been adjusted, which will greatly affect the pistol rounds.

I don't know whether it's for better or for worse right now, since trying to improve

CS:GO's balance at this stage is a VERY difficult task.

Every change will have unforeseen consequences.

Apart from Valve's accidental recent changes to the galil, famas and tagging, which embarrassingly

were not noticed for a while until discovered within the game's files by Steveven3 and

Slothsquadron.

But you get the idea.

You make one weapon more powerful and this indirectly changes the balance of the other

weapons in the game, the meta eventually changes because of it and so on.

But say we decide that pistol rounds ARE too important.

They might be no more random than any other round, but why should their results directly

doom players for the next 2 rounds as well?

Maybe the solution doesn't lie with the pistol rounds themselves, but with those next

2 rounds and with the options the losing team has.

On one hand, you want to reward the winner of the pistol round.

But on the other, you don't want to punish the losing side too much!

They're already a round down, that's bad enough!

I believe the old solution when the first round was lost was to buy the tec9 and to

rush B, which gave forcing teams a high chance of landing a flukey win.

Valve nerfed this long ago but perhaps these recent adjustments- which have involved stat

or price changes to almost every pistol in the game- were less about pistol round balance

and more to do with the 2nd and 3rd rounds… as well as any other force-buy situations.

We could also reduce the importance of winning the pistol round by giving losing teams a

decent third round buy option.

Falling into this category would be the SMGs, famas and galil.

You could improve their stats or lower their price.

Or you could make them more obtainable by adjusting the kill and end of round bonuses.

There are many ways that you could make a third round buy more feasible, which would

lower the pistol round's consequences from 6 down to just 4 of the game's rounds.

As sad as it is that I have to mention this, an argument for reducing the importance of

pistol round wins would be cheaters.

They can tip the balance of the match in their favour simply by having cheats enabled only

for pistol rounds, especially since nobody will be wearing helmets.

They'd also appear innocent in the majority of overwatch cases, which don't extend long

enough to include both pistol rounds in a single viewing!

On the plus side, as Valve says, teams who win pistol rounds are generally better in

the rest of the rounds as well, which wouldn't happen if cheats were being toggled, so hopefully

this kind of cheating is rare.

Regardless, we can nerf it by lessening the importance of winning pistol rounds.

To get the same advantage they'd then have to cheat for more rounds which would make

their cheating more obvious.

Or, alternatively, we leave things the way they are.

Maybe we're trying to find a solution that isn't needed.

Changing things for changes' sake.

If Valve's stats are to be believed, and pistol rounds are no more random than any

other, then why does it matter if it affects the next 2 rounds as well?

Sure, 68% of double-pistol-wins result in victory, but does that perhaps make the 23%

of losses all the more valuable to experience and to spectate?

Perhaps clawing back victory in the 2nd or 3rd rounds, against all odds, makes the Counter

Strike experience more enthralling than one where the tide changes every round for balances'

sake.

I don't think I have the answers to this.

Though I'm sure the comments section of this video will, I suggest you look there

instead.

The Guggenheim Museum Animal Rights Controversy - Duration: 12:52.

Hey there modern vegans and vegan curious, it's Margaret and welcome back to ModVegan.

Today on ModVegan we're going to be talking about some things that are

fascinating to me: art, censorship and animal rights. Three issues that I think

are so important, and they've all come together in a new story surrounding the

Guggenheim Museum and an exhibit that they have going on next month about

Chinese artists since 1989. There are a few artworks in this exhibit that have

created a lot of controversy, with animal rights activists saying that they are

completely unacceptable. I want to talk with you about my view about this and

also about what the controversy really is about. And if you enjoy this, please be

sure and give it a thumbs up and subscribe, and without further ado,

let's get to it!

The Guggenheim Museum in Manhattan is always a place where you

can go and see interesting exhibits with fascinating and controversial pieces of

art and that is nothing new and it's not something that I would ever want to

change, I think having controversy and even shocking exhibits is very important.

It's important that we always challenge ourselves and I think that part of

living in a free society is being willing to challenge assumptions, to be

willing to challenge the status quo, to be able to up-end taboos and things like

that. I think that's very important. I'm a hundred percent an advocate of free

speech and a freedom of expression. I think we should always be willing to

smash our sacred cows, although even saying that exact sentence is kind of

bringing me into the next subject, which is animal abuse. Human beings for some

time have used animals as kind of avatars for human beings in artworks. We

will use animals to draw attention to the way that human beings treat each

other, and that's exactly what's happening in this Guggenheim exhibit.

Several of the artworks are intended to draw attention to human beings' cruelty

towards each other, but they are doing it by having animals be cruel to each other.

And therein lies the problem. There are three artworks that the

Guggenheim has chosen to take down in response to critics, and a lot of people

say this is an infringement on freedom of speech, but I'm gonna talk about what

these artworks are, and then you can decide for yourself what you think, and I

will also offer my opinion as well. One of the most controversial is a video of

four pairs of dogs that are on treadmills and they film these dogs they

are dogs that are bred for fighting - they have a barrier between the dogs they

lift the barrier and then the dogs are on these these manual treadmills - they're

on leashes - and the dogs run at each other until they collapse and so the

idea is to show you know our endless pursuit of violence and how we're on you

know some sort of treadmill and continuing to attack each other even

when there is no hope whatsoever of actually achieving our goals - that kind

of thing. But of course, the problem that the animal rights activists have with

this, and the problem that I have as well is that these animals are not willing

participants in this experiment. The dogs did not volunteer to be set up for our

pleasure, for our enjoyment to be watching them run themselves to death on

a treadmill purely for the joy of spectators. I find any time when someone

is an unwilling participant in an experiment, in an artwork or anything

else like that - but particularly sort of spectator endeavours when when you have

an unwilling participant - I I think it's it's unacceptable. It's morally

unacceptable. If they were using, say mentally disabled people, or children, no

one would think this is acceptable. But because it's animals we're more willing

to let it go. And particularly in the case with these companion animals I

think people are able to see that comparison a little bit more easily. I'm

sure most dog lovers, even if they have no interest in the rights of other

animals, most dog lovers would have a problem with dogs on chains chained up

running at each other on a treadmill until they collapse. I think that would

bother many people in the rest of the world and and for the simple reason that

these animals did not choose to be part of this, it's not art it's violence. And I

think that's a very appropriate way to put this. I agree with animal rights

activists about that particular artwork. There's also another artwork that

involves a a bunch of animals underneath the canopy

that looks like a tortoises shell that is see-through, and the the viewers can

watch animals attack each other and they were going to be providing these animals

from local pets stores and things like that -

um reptiles, mice, insects - things like that - killing and eating each other

inside this little arena to show us how we all watch each other being consumed

by each other that sort of thing - it's mostly a gimmick. It's not - I don't think

it's the deepest form of art - this is the problem that I also have with some

of the work of Damien Hirst, who's quite famous for a lot of his exhibits that

involve animals. Damien Hirst of course famously a younger member of the Young

British Artists - if you're familiar with Damien Hirst, he has always been a bit

provocative. I like some of his work but some of it I think is just silly. He's

done a lot of things like, you know, suspending sharks in tanks filled with

formaldehyde. He had an exhibit that involved a sheep

being eaten by maggots - a dead sheep being eaten by maggots and then of

course they would just replace the Sheep and have the same process begin all

over again. You know, this is the kind of level of complexity that these things

are at. They're really just, you know, "Oh watch animals eating each other" "watch

destruction at work in the natural world" - it's a gimmick. I think

that when it involves unwilling participants who did not sign onto it,

who cannot possibly give their consent, I have a problem with it. I do believe that

there is an ethical issue at a question here that is that is not easily

defensible. I'd love to hear your defences of this - anyone who disagrees with these

exhibits being taken down, I'd love to hear what you have to say about these

artworks in the comment section below. This is a place where you can always

talk about your varying opinions. I welcome all perspectives on this channel.

Try to keep it civil, but overall I really enjoy intellectual discourse, I

really liked differences of opinion. I think most of us do, and I mean I hope we

do! I hope that people who are who are able to think can defend the freedom to

different opinions, because that's very important. We all need to have freedom to

choose, freedom to make these decisions. But I think when

someone is an unwilling participant and when, in this case, you know, animals and

even insects - it's a it's a bit of a problem.

Years ago, I attended an exhibit at the Louvre, and this was in 2008 - it was an

exhibit by Jan Fabre - Fabre, I think... Jan Fabre, and he had an exhibit. Fabre

is a flemish artist, and he had an exhibit in which he used thousands of

insect carcasses - mostly from beetles and things like that- in order to construct

these mammoth projects. And they were , you know, these giant balls covered in in

insects and I think there was you know medieval armor covered in in these

colorful insects - and even at the time I was not a vegan, I didn't really care

about animal rights at all, and I certainly didn't care much about insects.

But I was really overcome - and I mean, perhaps this was part of the point of

the exhibit - but I was really overcome by the idea of you know hundreds of

thousands of insects dying just for an art exhibit. It seemed uncomfortable to

me. It seemed inexcusable to me, from an ethical standpoint. And I really didn't

like it. I found that it was it was just decadent, and I really disliked it and I

think if you've been there, you might have thought the same thing. It just

seemed extremely decadent. It was thought-provoking,

but decadent. And he could have done the exact same thing with, um you know, with

making making these insects out of paper or something similar - there was no need

to actually kill all these bugs. It just seemed it seemed odd, it seemed

artificial, it seemed unnecessary and wasteful, and a huge waste of life -

whether that life was the life of an insect or not it just didn't make sense

to me. The final artwork being removed from the

exhibit is video of pigs engaging in coitus. It apparently

also has been rather controversial. I don't really know that much about that

particular part of the exhibit. It seems somewhat less problematic to me than the

other two works - I don't really know though, so if any of you know more about

that particular artwork I'd love to know about that, and I use the term "artwork"

here very loosely, because I really don't see, necessarily, the

value of any of these things. I think there's always a way to get our point

across in a way that doesn't take advantage of others. If you're going to

try and shock people, there are so many different ways to do that that don't

really require necessarily the use of the gimmick of subjugating other animals

to our will. I think there's always a way to shock and provoke without necessarily

violating the rights of other sentient beings. If you are an artist who lives by

creating shock value, you can do so without taking advantage of others. We

see this all the time in Hollywood. There are plenty of examples of films

that create all sorts of controversy that don't really involve

these kinds of things. There are ways to get your point across to be very

thought-provoking and provocative without taking advantage of other

sentient beings. I think that the real artist's challenge is doing things in way

that's ethical. Artists are meant to be the ethical ones - that's really what

they're supposed to be doing! They're supposed to be calling attention to the

problems that we have in society and I really feel like this exhibit has so

much promise and perhaps the other works that are in this exhibit are fantastic,

and are accomplishing very similar goals without necessarily leading to the death

of all of these other beings or the torture, or the dismemberment, etc of

sentient beings. I think there's always a way around that. I just feel like in this

case the artists kind of went for what I think was maybe not just an easy way to

do this, but also something that for them probably felt culturally

appropriate. I think that in some cultures these things aren't really

considered as offensive. Obviously if you live in a country where people eat

dogs regularly, maybe having them run on treadmills until they collapse is far

more acceptable. But it doesn't mean that it's right. And I think that the people

of New York certainly have every right to boycott this, to sign petitions - which

is what they did - they they can say as much as they want about people getting

in the way of democracy, but this is democracy at work. You have enough people -

you know over half a million people signed petitions

to not have these artworks displayed - I think the fact that the people spoke and

said that this was something they did not approve of also needs to be

recognized. So I absolutely agree that we should have freedom of expression, but

the Guggenheim is a business, and if that business feels that it's not going to be

beneficial for them necessarily in order to show this kind of an exhibit, they

have every right not to show it. I thought it was a bit um a bit of a shame

that the Guggenheim said that they were disappointed in people's lack of

enlightenment and their inability to appreciate these artworks. You know, if

the Guggenheim is afraid of the public and doesn't want to face public ire and

therefore is taking down the exhibit, that's their choice, and they really need

to stick by it, and I think stand up for themselves and say, you know "we're

choosing not to do this because it is not financially expedient to

continue to have this this artwork being displayed." I think I think it's important

to be honest about those things, and I also think that we need to decide what

really is a moral wrong. I do think that when it comes to ethics, taking over

control of another sentient being, taking advantage of another sentient being

without their consent, using them in this way and this manner unnecessarily, is

morally wrong. So I do agree with the protestors in this particular instance.

Let me know what you guys think in the comments section down below, I would love

to hear your views. I will also put a link to the article from the New York

Times about the Guggenheim exhibit in the description box so that you

guys can see it, and I want to thank again Ava so much for bringing this to

my attention. It was really interesting to read about! I hope you guys enjoyed it

too. If you enjoyed this video give it a thumbs up subscribe and I will see you

next time. Have a great day, bye

I hope you guys enjoyed it

too. If you enjoyed this video give it a thumbs up subscribe and I will see you

next time. Have a great day, bye

too hot I'm sweating way too much I'm sorry I just can't handle today what do

we use these chart of accounts use a widget service we already have those in

our chart of accounts so we do not need to make a new account now let's see

let's go let's take a snapshot of inside the chart of accounts to the general

ledger where we have what happened through a period in this error period is

2016 now what happened in the accounts well this is our first journal entries

of the year so these are the first occurrence is but checking account

0:01 third January 31st 2016 we got 40,000 also paired with that we have

winter service 131 16 for 40,000 I just don't even care about this board right

now because simple and boring I'm sweating alright good wheeze back we've

rolling he's back he's rolling we okay we are in the balance sheet income

statement come on and say alright let's do the income statement income statement

is from a period of time our period of time is January 1st 2016 to January 31st

2016 the pier the the period of time in between what is on our income statement

what is the income statement revenues minus expenses equals net income we have

a revenue of which service for 40k we have no expenses so we're having an

income of $40,000 very nice very nice now I'm going to start on everybody well

aren't you gonna pay back who you owe fuck them they last in line look man

it's a cold world out here boy yeah but you said I was first in line

when you borrowed the money from me bear no what I said

I lied you last in line ho dumbass motherfucker anyways uh rehab

net income of 40 K net income very important it's on income statement and

balance sheet it's gonna slide on over almost slide it over to the balance

sheet 40000 net income what is the balance sheet the balance sheet is for a

certain date of time so this is a January 31st 2016 what is our balance

sheet look like our balance sheet is assets equal liabilities plus equity you

have your assets and then it's whoo-hoooo

Luhan who has ownership of these assets would you owe it to somebody or does the

business own these assets what do we have for assets we have fifty two

thousand dollars in our checking account now because we just got forty thousand

so we have a fifty two thousand dollars in our checking account yeah boy I'm

rich I'm rich very dark down like a doctor but now I finally blew up now I

can I don't know nobody does can the Holte is coming with me the whole team

the whole team my whole team's like three people stunt on these hoes I got

52 K in mic check in contact to Jules plus we got the truck that we bought at

four thousand would it's been depreciated for her so it's got poop

volume 3200 add that to a 52,000 we have fifty five thousand two hundred in our

business in assets now out of that fifty five fifty five thousand two hundred

dollars do we owe it to somebody or does the business own it

let's see we have twelve thousand dollars in liabilities so twelve

thousand dollars we are to somebody seven thousand dollars to ourself to the

shareholder me and you and then $5,000 accounts payable the

person thought we were gonna pay back since we have fifty two thousand dollars

oh that's not gonna happen I'll see you get my boy gonna fuck your

cut it up I think my credits like two hundred or something I'm gonna fuck fuck

bitch I'm alms I'm straight cash you heard that everyone accepts cash

straight cash off rips on so yeah that's twelve thousand so the

other portion Derek 43,200 is gonna come from equity and it does we have retained

earnings of thirty two hundred and our net income of 40-thousand the net income

of 40-thousand came through for the income statement you notice the retained

earnings of thirty two hundred see that was from the last one where we where we

switched the net incomes or two narratives the end of the year anyways

Performance Mentality - Enjoying Everyday Life - Duration: 28:33.

ANNOUNCER: THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM IS PAID FOR

BY THE FRIENDS AND PARTNERS OF JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES.

JOYCE: YOU NEED TO STOP BEING SO HARD ON YOURSELF.

YOU NEED TO GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK.

YOU NEED TO STOP COUNTING AND JUST SAY,

"GOD IS NOT MAD AT ME.

I AM NOT A FAILURE.

GOD IS NOT DISAPPOINTED.

I'M NOT GIVING HIM LESS THAN HE EXPECTED."

[MUSIC]

JOYCE: IF WE GO ON IN MATTHEW, AFTER HE TALKS ABOUT

THIS REST THAT WE CAN HAVE THEN THIS CHAPTER 12, BEGINNING

IN VERSE 1, HE STARTS TO TALK TO US ABOUT HOW EVEN THOUGH WE

DON'T FOLLOW ALL THE RULES AND REGULATIONS, WHEN WE NEED

HELP, HE STILL WANTS TO GIVE US HELP AND SHOW US MERCY.

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?

EVEN IF YOU DON'T DO IT ALL RIGHT AND YOU ASK GOD TO HELP

YOU, WHEN YOU HAVE A NEED, GOD WILL STILL HELP YOU.

NOW, THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT HE DOESN'T DEAL WITH US

ABOUT OUR SIN, BUT IT DOES MEAN THAT HE WILL SET THAT ASIDE

FOR A MOMENT, HE WILL HELP US AND THEN HE'LL STILL CONTINUE

TO DEAL WITH US.

BUT WHEN YOU DO SOMETHING WRONG, YOU DON'T HAVE TO WITHDRAW

FROM GOD, BE AFRAID THAT HE'S ANGRY.

DON'T EVER RUN AWAY FROM GOD,

RUN TO HIM.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND PLEASE, IF YOU ARE IN TROUBLE RIGHT NOW

IN YOUR LIFE AND IF YOU'RE WATCHING BY TELEVISION AND YOU

FEEL THAT YOU HAVE FAILED GOD AND THAT HE WILL NOT HELP YOU

OR TAKE YOU BACK, THE DEVIL IS A LIAR.

YOU JUST NEED TO SAY RIGHT NOW, "GOD, I AM SO SORRY,

I MESSED UP MY LIFE.

HELP ME."

AND I CAN TELL YOU GOD WILL HELP YOU.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: GOD WILL HELP YOU, AMEN.

SO, HE SAYS IN HERE BEGINNING IN VERSE 1, "AT THAT PARTICULAR

TIME JESUS WENT THROUGH THE FIELDS OF STANDING GRAIN

ON THE SABBATH; AND HIS DISCIPLES WERE HUNGRY,

SO THEY BEGAN TO EAT THE GRAIN."

THEY HAD THE NEED, THEY ATE THE GRAIN.

"AND WHEN THE PHARISEES SAW IT--" AND BY THE WAY,

THE DEVIL IS A CHIEF PHARISEE.

"THEY SAID TO HIM, SEE THERE, SEE THERE, SEE THERE!"

ISN'T THAT JUST LIKE THAT STUPID DEVIL?

"SEE THERE, SEE THERE. LOOK WHAT YOU DID."

AND HE NOT ONLY HAS YOU SEE EVERYTHING YOU DO,

HE HAS YOU SEE EVERYTHING EVERYBODY ELSE DOES TOO.

"SEE THERE!

YOUR DISCIPLES ARE DOING WHAT IS UNLAWFUL AND NOT PERMITTED

ON THE SABBATH.

AND HE SAID TO THEM, HAVE YOU NOT EVEN READ WHAT DAVID DID

WHEN HE WAS HUNGRY, AND THOSE WHO ACCOMPANIED HIM WERE HUNGRY?

AND HE WENT INTO THE HOUSE OF GOD AND ATE THE LOAVES

OF SHOWBREAD, WHICH WAS NOT LAWFUL FOR HIM TO EAT."

BUT THE MESSAGE HERE IS: OKAY,

THERE WAS A RULE THAT SAID DON'T DO THIS, SO THEY ORDINARILY

FOLLOWED THAT, BUT NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN, THEY HAD A NEED

AND GOD SAID, "FORGET THE LAW.

YOU'VE GOT A NEED AND I'M GONNA HELP YOU," WHY?

BECAUSE MERCY IS GREATER THAN ANYTHING ELSE.

GOD IS MERCIFUL, AND HE WANTS US TO BE MERCIFUL.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: THERE'S SOME PEOPLE HERE TONIGHT THAT NEED

TO RECEIVE GOD'S MERCY FOR YOURSELF.

YOU NEED TO STOP BEING SO HARD ON YOURSELF.

YOU NEED TO GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK.

YOU NEED TO STOP COUNTING

AND JUST SAY, "GOD IS NOT MAD AT ME.

I AM NOT A FAILURE.

GOD IS NOT DISAPPOINTED.

I'M NOT GIVING HIM LESS THAN HE EXPECTED."

YOU KNOW WHY?

GOD KNEW EXACTLY WHAT TO EXPECT OUT OF YOU.

GOD'S NOT LIKE THE COACH WHO LET THE LITTLE BOY PLAY BASEBALL,

AND THE TEAM WAS WINNING TILL THE LITTLE BOY CAME UP

TO BAT AND STRUCK OUT IN THE NINTH INNING AND CAUSED

THE TEAM TO LOSE.

AND SO NOW THE COACH IS ALL DISAPPOINTED IN THE LITTLE BOY.

GOD ALREADY KNEW THAT YOU WERE GONNA STRIKE OUT BEFORE HE

EVER LET YOU IN THE GAME, AMEN?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: DOES ANYBODY FEEL LIKE THEY MIGHT BE RELAXING

JUST A LITTLE BIT?

LET ME ASK A QUESTION, HOW MUCH IS WRONG WITH YOU?

HOW MUCH IS WRONG WITH ME?

IF YOU MADE A LIST OF EVERYTHING THAT WAS WRONG WITH YOU,

HOW LONG WOULD IT BE?

COULD YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS ADD THINGS TO THAT AND IT

MIGHT EVEN GET LONGER?

THAT WOULD BE A SCARY THOUGHT, WOULDN'T IT?

BUT HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS, GOD WANTS YOU

TO STOP COUNTING, AMEN?

GOD WANTS YOU TO STOP COUNTING.

NOW, WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GET YOURSELF IN TROUBLE?

JESUS SIMPLY REACHES DOWN IN IT, AND GETS US OUT OF THE PIT,

AMEN?

IF WE TRY TO LIVE UNDER THE LAW, THE LAW REQUIRES THAT WE

KEEP PRECISE RECORDS.

"HOW MANY MISTAKES HAVE I MADE?

HOW MANY GOOD WORKS HAVE I DONE?

HOW CAN I PAY FOR THESE MISTAKES?

HOW LONG DID I PRAY?

HOW MUCH OF THE BIBLE DID I READ?"

AND I USED TO DO THIS AND I'M SURE YOU DID.

I MEAN, I HEARD A MESSAGE, WE SHOULD PRAY AT LEAST AN HOUR

A DAY, AND MAN, EVERY TIME I DIDN'T PRAY AN HOUR A DAY,

I FELT LIKE I'D FALLEN SHORT AND WASN'T DOING

WHAT I SHOULD BE DOING.

ANYBODY BEEN THERE, DONE THAT?

"THEN HE ASKED, JESUS SAID TO THE DISCIPLES,

'CAN YOU NOT PRAY WITH ME ONE HOUR?'"

AND I'M NOT SAYING THAT THAT MIGHT NOT BE A GOOD GUIDELINE

TO USE, BUT YOU CAN'T PUT THAT ON PEOPLE AS A LAW.

I WILL NOT STAND IN THE PULPIT AND TELL SOMEBODY, YOU MUST PRAY

ONE HOUR EVERY DAY.

AND DON'T ASK ME HOW LONG I PRAY BECAUSE I'M NOT GONNA TELL YOU.

YOU SAY, "WHY WON'T YOU TELL ME?"

BECAUSE I DON'T WANT YOU TRYING TO DO WHAT I DO.

AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW LONG I PRAY ANYWAY.

NOW, THERE WAS A LONG NUMBER OF YEARS WHEN I COULD HAVE TOLD

YOU 'CAUSE I PROBABLY WROTE IT DOWN EVERY DAY.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: AND I HAD A LITTLE READ THE CALENDAR THROUGH

IN A BIBLE YEAR CALENDAR AND YOU HAD TO READ

SIX CHAPTERS A DAY.

AND I'D GET MY LITTLE CHECKMARKS AND, YOU KNOW, I WASN'T LEARNING

ANYTHING, BUT I WAS REALLY READING FAST TO TRY AND KEEP UP

WITH IT.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: AND I WAS SO PROUD OF THAT CALENDAR.

I PUT IT ON THE KITCHEN REFRIGERATOR SO WHEN PEOPLE

CAME IN, THEY'D SAY, "OH, WHAT'S THAT?"

COME ON.

"OH, I'M READING THE BIBLE THROUGH EVERY YEAR."

"OOH, WOW."

AND I'D FEEL SO PROUD OF MYSELF.

AND I'D WALK BY THAT CALENDAR AND JUST FEEL MY FLESH PUFF UP.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: UNTIL ALL OF A SUDDEN, I GOT ABOUT 36 CHAPTERS BEHIND

AND THEN WHEN I CAME IN THAT ROOM, I JUST WANTED

TO GET OUT OF THERE 'CAUSE THAT THING WAS--

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: OH, I COUNTED EVERYTHING.

I USED TO COUNT ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE MEETINGS.

WELL, I DIDN'T COUNT THEM, BUT THE FIRST THING I WANTED

TO KNOW WHEN IT WAS OVER WAS, HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE?

HOW MANY, HOW MUCH, HOW MANY, WHEN?

AND GOD LITERALLY COMMANDED ME TO STOP COUNTING.

YOU KNOW, DAVID NUMBERED THE PEOPLE AND HE LED A CURSE

INTO THE CAMP.

GOD DOESN'T WANT US COUNTING EVERYTHING.

WHY DID DAVID NUMBER THE PEOPLE?

WAS HE TRYING TO FIND OUT IF HE HAD ENOUGH SOLDIERS TO BEAT

THE ENEMY?

GOD DIDN'T WANT HIM COUNTING ANYTHING BECAUSE HE IS MORE

THAN ENOUGH FOR US.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND IT DOESN'T MATTER IF I READ TEN BOOKS OF THE BIBLE

EVERY DAY AND YOU READ ONE VERSE, THE ONLY THING

THAT MATTERS IS, ARE WE BOTH BEING LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

AND ARE WE LEARNING ANYTHING?

IT DOESN'T MATTER IF I PRAY 5 HOURS A DAY AND YOU PRAY

10 MINUTES.

THE THING IS, IS ARE WE PRAYING THROUGH?

ARE WE GETTING THE JOB DONE?

ARE WE BOTH FOLLOWING THE LEADERSHIP

OF THE HOLY SPIRIT?

THAT'S WHERE FREEDOM COMES.

THANK GOD I DON'T HAVE TO BE LIKE YOU, AND YOU

DON'T HAVE TO BE LIKE ME.

AND NOT ONLY THAT, WE NEED TO STOP TELLING EVERYBODY

WHAT WE'RE DOING ANYWAY.

"I OWE, I OWE, SO OFF TO WORK I GO."

LET ME TELL YA SOMETHING.

I HAD A LITTLE DOG FOR ALMOST 13 YEARS.

HER NAME WAS DUCHESS, AND WE HAD TO HAVE HER PUT TO SLEEP

ABOUT 10, 11 DAYS AGO, WHICH WAS A LITTLE HARD ON ME.

BUT ON RARE OCCASIONS, SHE WOULD POO ON THE FLOOR.

IT DIDN'T HAPPEN TOO OFTEN, BUT SHE WOULD DO IT

OCCASIONALLY.

AND IT USUALLY--THE THING THAT I THINK THAT'S A GOOD

KIND OF--MAKE A GOOD RELATION HERE IS SHE USUALLY DID IT

WHEN THERE WAS A STORM.

NOW, IS ANYBODY WITH ME?

IF WE HAVE POOEY BEHAVIOR, IT'S USUALLY DURING A STORM

IN OUR LIFE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: COME ON, THAT'S BETTER THAN YOU'RE ACTING, COME ON.

OKAY, SHE WOULD HANG HER HEAD AND COWER UNTIL SHE WOULD HEAR

ME SAY IN A LOVING VOICE, "COME HERE.

COME ON, COME HERE."

THE SAME THING THAT JESUS SAID TO US IN MATTHEW 11:28,

"COME ON, COME HERE, COME HERE.

COME ON, IT'S OKAY, COME ON."

BUT WE DON'T QUITE BEHAVE AS WELL AS THE DOG DOES

SOMETIMES.

AS SOON AS I WOULD SAY THOSE WORDS, "COME HERE,"

I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT THE MOMENT SHE HEARD THOSE WORDS,

SHE HAD NOT 1 OUNCE OF GUILT.

SHE RETURNED TO HER PLAY AND LET ME CLEAN UP THE MESS.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: COME ON, THERE'S A STORY HERE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: COME ON, THERE'S A STORY HERE.

WHEN THERE'S A STORM AND YOU HAVE POOEY BEHAVIOR AND YOU'RE

HIDING FROM GOD 'CAUSE YOU THINK HE'S MAD AT YOU, PLEASE HEAR HIM

SAY, "COME ON, COME HERE.

COME ON, COME ON.

COME ON."

NOW, YOU NEED TO SHAKE IT OFF JUST AS FAST.

THERE'S NO GUILT.

THERE'S NO CONDEMNATION.

"I AM LOVED.

GOD LOVES ME, AND I'M GONNA GO PLAY AND HE'S GONNA CLEAN UP

MY MESS."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: WHOO, I'M LIKIN' IT, I'M LIKIN' IT, I'M LIKIN' IT,

AMEN.

NOW, JUST IN CASE THERE WAS A STAIN, I WOULD GET OUT

THIS STUFF CALLED PETZYME AND SPRAY IT ON THAT STAIN.

WELL, LET ME TELL YA SOMETHING, WE GOT SOMETHING A LOT BETTER

THAN PETZYME FOR OUR POO STAINS.

WE'VE GOT THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, AMEN.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: THAT REMOVES EVERY STAIN.

EVERY GUILTY STAIN IS REMOVED.

WHAT ARE YOU OFFERING GOD AS PAYBACK WHEN YOU FEEL

THAT YOU'VE FAILED?

ARE YOU OFFERING YOUR GUILT, YOUR ENJOYMENT OF LIFE?

DO YOU FEEL GUILTY WHEN YOU TRY TO RELAX OR HAVE FUN?

I WENT THROUGH ALL THAT.

ANY DAY THAT I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE THAT I BEHAVED PERFECTLY,

I WOULD FEEL GUILTY.

I CERTAINLY WOULDN'T FEEL THAT I COULD DO ANYTHING THAT WOULD BE

CONSIDERED ENJOYMENT BECAUSE I DIDN'T THINK I DESERVED IT,

AND IT BREAKS THE HEART OF GOD.

HE'S PROVIDED EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED TO LIVE A GREAT LIFE.

GOD HAS PROVIDED EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED TO LIVE

A GREAT LIFE.

AND LIKE I SAID THIS MORNING, I LOVE WHAT THE APOSTLE PAUL

SAID IN PHILIPPIANS 3.

"FOR I AM DETERMINED THAT I WILL TAKE HOLD

OF THAT FOR WHICH CHRIST JESUS DIED TO TAKE HOLD OF ME."

GOD HAS TAKEN HOLD OF US IN CHRIST FOR A PURPOSE.

HE HAS TAKEN HOLD OF YOU BECAUSE THERE'S A LIFE

THAT HE WANTS YOU TO LIVE.

THE ZOE LIFE OF GOD IS WHAT'S OFFERED TO US.

IT'S CALLED ETERNAL LIFE AND THE MOMENT YOU

RECEIVE CHRIST, ETERNAL LIFE IS NOT JUST ABOUT GETTING

TO GO TO HEAVEN WHEN YOU DIE.

IT'S ABOUT A QUALITY OF LIFE THAT YOU GET TO LIVE

WHILE YOU'RE HERE THAT INCLUDES RIGHTEOUSNESS, RIGHT STANDING

WITH GOD, PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST AND OVERCOMING

AND BEING A CONQUEROR IN LIFE.

JOYCE: WELL, GOD'S LOVE FOR YOU IS NOT BASED

ON YOUR PERFORMANCE OR HOW WELL YOU'VE DONE, IT'S BASED

ON WHO HE IS.

AND, YOU KNOW, THAT IS REALLY GOOD NEWS.

SO, NO MATTER HOW DISAPPOINTED OR MAD YOU MIGHT BE AT YOURSELF,

REMEMBER GOD IS NOT MAD AT YOU.

MANY TIMES WHEN PEOPLE ARE HURTING OR EXPERIENCING LOSS,

THEY BELIEVE IT MUST BE BECAUSE GOD IS MAD AT THEM, BUT NOTHING

COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.

TAKE A LOOK AT THIS AND I'LL BE BACK IN JUST A FEW MINUTES

WITH A FINAL THOUGHT.

JOYCE: YESTERDAY, I WENT--I WAS AT THE NAIL SHOP GETTING

MY NAILS DONE AND A LADY WAS--THEY PUT HER

RIGHT NEXT TO ME.

AND THE GIRL THAT DOES MY NAILS OWNS THE SHOP, AND NORMALLY,

THERE'S NOBODY ELSE THAT SITS AT HER TABLE.

BUT THIS LADY WAS SITTING THERE AND SHE HEARD ME TALKING

A LITTLE BIT AND AS HAPPENS TO ME SO OFTEN SHE SAID,

"DON'T I RECOGNIZE YOUR VOICE?"

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: AND SO I TOLD HER, I SAID, "YEAH, I'M

A BIBLE TEACHER, I'M ON TV."

"THAT'S RIGHT, I'VE SEEN YOU."

SO THEN, THE NEXT THING OUT OF HER MOUTH WAS, "YOU KNOW,

I'M A LITTLE MAD AT GOD."

I THOUGHT, OKAY.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: AND I SAID, "WELL, WHAT ARE YOU MAD AT GOD ABOUT?"

SHE SAID, "WELL, MY BROTHER DIED OF CANCER AND I REALLY WAS CLOSE

TO HIM AND LOVED HIM.

AND, YOU KNOW, I JUST HAVE TO TELL YOU--"

SHE WASN'T BELLIGERENT ABOUT IT BUT SHE SAID,

"I'M JUST A LITTLE MAD AT GOD."

AND, YOU KNOW, THE TRUTH IS, IS THERE'S A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT ARE

JUST A LITTLE MAD AT GOD.

AND THERE'S A LOT OF CHRISTIANS THAT ARE JUST A LITTLE MAD

AT GOD.

AND BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T GET WHAT THEY WANTED, OR THEY GOT

DISAPPOINTED, OR THEY HAD A BIG LOSS IN THEIR LIFE,

OR SOMETHING HAPPENED THAT THEY DIDN'T UNDERSTAND.

AND SO, I SAT AND SHARED WITH HER, WHICH IS ALWAYS

INTERESTING WHEN YOU'RE IN A SHOP LIKE THAT 'CAUSE YOU

NOT ONLY GET TO SPEAK TO THE PERSON YOU'RE

SPEAKING TO, BUT EVERYBODY ELSE WHO'S LISTENING,

WHICH IS A BUNCH OF THEM.

AND SO WE KIND OF HAD A LITTLE MINI MEETING

RIGHT THERE AT THE NAIL SHOP.

SO, I JUST TOLD HER AND I WANNA--WHEN I ASK THE LORD WHAT

HE MIGHT WANT ME TO JUST SHARE WITH YOU, WE CALL THIS A TIME

OF EXHORTATION, JUST A LITTLE PERSONAL MINISTRY FOR YOU.

I REALLY FELT LIKE HE WANTED ME TO SHARE WHAT HAPPENED

AT THE NAIL SHOP YESTERDAY.

AND WHEN SHE SAID SHE WAS MAD AT GOD, I SAID, "WELL, YOU KNOW,

YOU REALLY DON'T WANT TO BE MAD AT GOD BECAUSE HE'S REALLY

THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN HELP YOU.

SO, THAT'S THE FIRST THING I'D LIKE TO RECEIVE TONIGHT

IF YOU'RE HURTING NOW OR IF YOU'RE--SOMETHING HAPPENS

IN THE FUTURE IS DON'T EVER BE MAD AT GOD BECAUSE HE'S

THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN HELP YOU.

HE'S THE ONE THAT WANTS TO COMFORT YOU AND MAKE THINGS

BETTER.

AND DON'T BLAME GOD FOR YOUR TROUBLES.

GOD IS GOOD.

HE IS GOOD AND--

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND THE DEVIL IS BAD.

AND, YOU KNOW, YOU CAN'T ALWAYS FIND A PIGEONHOLE TO PUT

EVERY PROBLEM THAT YOU HAVE.

NOBODY CAN EVER SIT DOWN AND SUFFICIENTLY EXPLAIN

TO SOMEBODY THAT'S REALLY HURTING WHY WHAT HAPPENED

TO THEM HAPPENED BECAUSE THE QUESTION ALWAYS

COMES UP, "WELL, IF GOD IS SOVEREIGN AND HE CAN DO

ANYTHING, THEN WHY DIDN'T HE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS SITUATION?"

WELL, YOU KNOW WHAT?

I DON'T THINK THERE'S ANY HUMAN BEING THAT'S QUALIFIED

TO ANSWER THAT.

WHEN I WAS A LITTLE GIRL AND MY FATHER WAS ABUSING ME

SEXUALLY, I PRAYED.

I DIDN'T KNOW ALL THAT MUCH ABOUT GOD, BUT I KNEW HE EXISTED

AND I PRAYED THAT HE WOULD GET ME OUT OF THAT SITUATION.

I DID GO TO CHURCH WITH SOME RELATIVES WHEN I WAS 9 YEARS OLD

AND I RECEIVED CHRIST AND SO I LEANED ON GOD A LITTLE BIT MORE.

AND, I MEAN, I PRAYED THINGS I SHOULDN'T HAVE PRAYED.

I PRAYED FOR MY DAD TO DIE.

I PRAYED FOR MY MOTHER TO DIVORCE HIM.

I PRAYED FOR A LOT OF THINGS BECAUSE I WAS HURTING SO BAD.

BUT GOD DID NOT GET ME OUT OF THE SITUATION, BUT HE

DID GIVE ME THE STRENGTH AND THE GRACE TO GO THROUGH IT.

AND--

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: LATER IN MY LIFE TO LET HIM TAKE THE THINGS

THAT HAD HAD HAPPENED TO ME THAT HURT ME SO BAD AND TURN

THEM INTO SOMETHING THAT COULD ACTUALLY REALLY

GET THE DEVIL BACK BY HELPING MILLIONS OF OTHER PEOPLE

KNOW THAT GOD CAN HELP THEM.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SO, YOU CAN--ANYTHING THAT THE ENEMY DOES THAT HURTS

YOU, YOU CAN ALWAYS TURN IT BACK ON HIM.

SEE, THE THING HE WANTS IS FOR US TO BE MAD, AND BITTER,

AND FULL OF HATRED.

AND HE WANTS US TO MOVE AWAY FROM GOD.

BUT SEE, WHEN YOU'RE HURT, DON'T EVER RUN FROM GOD, RUN TO HIM.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: HE'S WAITING WITH OPEN ARMS.

AND, YOU KNOW, AS FAR AS THE WHY DIDN'T GOD DO

SOMETHING QUESTION, YOU KNOW, A LOT OF THESE QUESTIONS

ARE FOUND IN THE ANSWER THAT GOD DIDN'T WANT A BUNCH OF ROBOTS

THAT HAD NO CHOICE ABOUT WHAT THEY DID.

HE DOESN'T WANT US TO HAVE TO LOVE HIM.

HE DOESN'T WANT US TO HAVE TO BE GOOD.

HE DOESN'T WANT US TO HAVE TO DO THE RIGHT THING.

HE GAVE US FREE CHOICE AND ANYTIME YOU GIVE A BUNCH

OF HUMAN BEINGS FREE CHOICE, LOTS OF THEM ARE GONNA MAKE

THE WRONG CHOICE.

AND SO THERE'S A SIN PRINCIPLE THAT'S AT WORK IN THE EARTH

TODAY AND SIN HAS JUST CAUSED EVERYTHING TO GO HAYWIRE.

AND IT'S REALLY NOT HARD TO LOOK AROUND.

COME ON, WE ARE SMARTER THAN THAT.

WE CAN LOOK AROUND AND SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE WORLD

TODAY AND WHAT'S HAPPENING IN SOCIETY TODAY AND THE MORE

RAMPANT THAT SIN IS, THE LESS MORALITY THERE IS,

THE MORE VIOLENCE THERE IS, THE MORE DESTRUCTION THERE IS,

THE MORE HATRED THERE IS.

THE LESS THAT PEOPLE TURN TO GOD, THE MORE OPEN THE DOOR

IS FOR THE ENEMY TO GET INTO THEIR LIFE.

LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, IF--THIS IS JUST THE WAY I FEEL

ABOUT IT.

IF I DIDN'T HAVE GOD IN MY LIFE, I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I

WOULD BOTHER TO GET OUT OF BED EVERY DAY BECAUSE THERE'S

CERTAINLY NOTHING OUT THERE TO LIVE FOR.

SO, AND I TOLD HER, I SAID, "YOU KNOW WHAT?

REALLY, I SAID I THINK MORE THAN BEING MAD AT GOD,

YOU'RE JUST HURTING."

NOW, LISTEN TO ME 'CAUSE SOMEBODY NEEDS TO HEAR THIS.

AND WHEN YOU'RE HURTING, YOU ALWAYS WANT

SOMEBODY TO BLAME, ALWAYS.

YOU WANT SOMEBODY TO BLAME.

"THE DOCTOR DIDN'T TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY RELATIVE.

GOD DIDN'T DO THIS.

SOMEBODY ELSE DIDN'T DO THAT.

SOMEBODY ELSE DIDN'T DO SOMETHING ELSE."

FORGET THE BLAME.

YOU CAN'T GO BACK AND UNDO SOMETHING THAT'S BEEN DONE.

WHATEVER YOUR PAIN HAS BEEN, TAKE IT ALL UP IN YOUR LITTLE

SWEET LITTLE HANDS TONIGHT AND JUST OFFER IT TO GOD

AND SAY, "GOD, YOU TAKE THIS PAIN AND WORK IT OUT

FOR MY GAIN."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I THINK THERE'S SOME PEOPLE IN HERE TONIGHT THAT YOU

COULD JUST--IT WOULD JUST HELP YOU A WHOLE BUNCH IF YOU

WOULD JUST LET GO OF SOME STUFF.

I MEAN, WHY DON'T YOU JUST LET TONIGHT BE THE PLACE WHERE YOU

DECIDE THAT YOU'RE NOT GONNA WASTE ANY MORE OF YOUR TIME

TRYING TO FIGURE THINGS OUT THAT YOU'RE NEVER

GONNA FIGURE OUT ANYWAY.

I LOVE WHAT DAVID SAID, THE PSALMIST, HE SAID,

"I DO NOT PUT MY MIND TO THINGS THAT ARE TOO WONDERFUL FOR ME."

THERE'S A LOT OF MYSTERIES ABOUT GOD, AND IF WE JUST SIMPLY HANG

ON TO THE FACT THAT GOD IS GOOD AND SOMEDAY WE WILL KNOW

EVERYTHING BUT IT'S NOT FOR NOW.

AND FOR NOW, WE HAVE THE PRIVILEGE, NOT A HAVE TO,

THE PRIVILEGE OF TRUSTING GOD.

WHAT A BENEFIT THAT IS TO BE ABLE TO SAY,

WHILE ALL HELL IS BREAKING LOOSE IN YOUR LIFE, AND THERE'S

NOTHING THAT YOU UNDERSTAND AND YOU'RE HURTING SO BAD,

YOU CAN'T HARDLY STAND IT, "I TRUST GOD.

I BELIEVE THAT HE'S GOOD AND THIS WILL WORK OUT

FOR MY GOOD," AMEN?

IT WILL.

SO, I WANT TO READ YOU A SCRIPTURE AND THEN I WANT

TO PRAY FOR YOU GUYS.

YOU'VE HEARD THIS, BUT JUST REALLY TAKE THIS IN.

JESUS SAID, "COME TO ME."

HE DIDN'T SAY, "RUN AWAY FROM ME."

"COME TO ME, ALL OF YOU WHO LABOR AND ARE HEAVY-LADEN

AND OVERBURDENED, AND I WILL CAUSE YOU TO REST.

[I WILL EASE AND RELIEVE AND REFRESH YOUR SOUL.]

TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU AND LEARN ABOUT ME, FOR I AM GENTLE

(MEEK), HUMBLE (LOWLY) IN HEART."

DOES THAT SOUND LIKE SOMEBODY THAT GOES AROUND HURTING PEOPLE

ON PURPOSE AND MAKING THEM MISERABLE?

"AND YOU WILL FIND REST (RELIEF AND EASE AND REFRESHMENT

AND RECREATION AND BLESSED QUIET) FOR YOUR SOULS."

LAST VERSE, "FOR MY YOKE IS WHOLESOME (USEFUL, GOOD,

IT'S NOT HARSH, HARD, SHARP, OR PRESSING, BUT IT IS

COMFORTABLE, GRACIOUS, AND PLEASANT), AND MY BURDEN IS

LIGHT AND EASY TO BE BORNE."

WE CAN DO WHATEVER WE NEED TO DO IN LIFE WITH JESUS BY OUR SIDE,

AMEN?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: YOU MAY NOT KNOW THE ANSWER RIGHT NOW

TO WHAT'S GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE, BUT GOD DOES.

FATHER, WE PRAY IN JESUS' NAME THAT YOU WOULD COMFORT PEOPLE

TONIGHT THAT ARE HURTING, THAT YOU WOULD STRENGTHEN US

FOR THE DAYS AHEAD.

NONE OF US KNOW FOR SURE WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN TOMORROW, BUT WE DO

KNOW THAT WHEN TOMORROW COMES, YOU'LL BE THERE

JUST LIKE YOU ARE TODAY.

I ASK YOU TO HEAL THE SOULS OF ANYONE THAT HAS A GREAT LOSS,

THEY'VE HAD TREMENDOUS PAIN, THEY'VE LOST A JOB, THEY'VE LOST

AN OPPORTUNITY, THEY'VE HAD A DISAPPOINTMENT, THEY'VE LOST

THEIR HEALTH, SOMEONE THEY LOVE OR IF THEY'RE HURTING

IN ANY WAY, COMFORT THEM, JUST VISIT THEM IN THEIR SEATS

WITH THE COMFORT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

AND I PRAY THE WORD TONIGHT WILL REFRESH THEM,

AND INSTRUCT THEM, AND TEACH THEM, AND LEAD THEM,

AND GUIDE THEM.

AND WHILE THE WORD IS BEING TAUGHT, THAT YOU WOULD HEAL

PEOPLE THAT ARE PHYSICALLY IN PAIN AND SICK

BECAUSE YOUR WORD SAYS IN PSALM 107, YOU SEND

YOUR WORD, AND YOUR HEAL THEM, AND YOU DELIVER THEM

FROM DESTRUCTION.

AND THERE'S POWER IN YOUR WORD

TO HEAL, TO DELIVER, TO SET FREE.

BREAK THE POWER OF ADDICTIONS IN PEOPLE'S LIVES TONIGHT.

THANK YOU, LORD, FOR TOUCHING PEOPLE, FOR SAVING THE LOST.

IF THERE'S ANY HERE THAT DO NOT KNOW YOU, GOD, LET TONIGHT BE

THE NIGHT THAT THEY OPEN THEIR HEARTS AND LET YOU

COME IN.

TOUCH PEOPLE WITH THE POWER OF YOUR HOLY SPIRIT.

FILL THEM TONIGHT WITH YOUR SPIRIT.

THANK YOU FOR STRENGTHENING US AND CHANGING US.

IN JESUS' NAME, IN JESUS' NAME, AMEN.

JOYCE: WELL, THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME PRAY FOR YOU.

100% Natural Home Remedies For DRY and ITCHY SCALP Treatment! - Duration: 2:45.

Try following natural home remedies for itchy scalp; you will be ok.

Cause & Symptoms

The main causes of itchy scalp are heavy dandruffs, parasites, seborrheic dermatitis, yeast and

dry skin.

This condition can be defined by average to serious under medical observation.

Symptoms are skin infection, itch, swelling, redness, mole, flaky scalp, thin, and damaged

hair.

From very first stage it begins with little hair fall and then turns into serious condition

if you don't treat it.

1.

Essential Oil Mixture.

Various mixture of essential oil is one of the very effective remedies for itchy scalp.

You can use mixture of some natural oil like-avocado, lavender, tea tree oil, olive, almond and

coconut oil.

Amount of use depends upon your hair.

For better result use regular basis and continue with same amount.

2.

Honey Banana and Onion Juice Mask.

There is no end of goodness of honey.

Honey considered as great natural anti biotic agent.

Open offices are overrated - Duration: 6:31.

Stop!

Let's break this down.

We all know open offices are bad.

There've been studies that show that private offices "clearly outperformed" open ones.

Open offices are about saving money.

Pricey real estate means that every square foot's a dollar sign,

and that's fine.

But we don't like to talk about it that way.

We act like it's about interaction and collaboration,

even though studies have shown that ease of interaction is not an issue in any type of office.

To be clear,

I am throwing stones from a glass office.

This is where I work.

My desk is incredibly close to my poor neighbors,

I always have to wear headphones to concentrate,

and nobody ever...

...talks.

But when you look at really cool companies,

across the board

they all have open offices

to "encourage interaction and openness."

Dog vacation website? Open office.

Charity website? Open office.

But this is not just penny pinching.

We talk about them like they're better,

and they used to be.

Open offices were once works of art.

They were just ruined...

by too many bad copies.

This is an open office. It's a post office

from 1872.

Open offices weren't invented by hip millennials.

This is not a barista.

This is not a Feng shui consultant.

Clerical work was done in big open spaces

as early as the 1750's.

But small rooms were most common.

By the 1900's,

more and more people were spending their days

in offices.

One genius wanted to make offices more open,

and he wanted open spaces to work better.

"The Eminent American Architect Frank Lloyd Wright".

"Come in lad. Instead of a building being a series of boxes and closets,

it became more and more open, more and more a sense of space."

Wright's known for his houses, often with open plans,

but he designed offices too.

In 1909, he experimented with open offices in a Buffalo building.

In 1939,

he created a masterpiece

in Wisconsin.

The SC Johnson company needed a new headquarters,

so they asked Wright to design it.

They make cleaning products like

"RAID!!!!" (bugs screaming)

"Yes Raid, new bug killer discovery from Johnson's Wax."

The administrative building was the highlight.

It was a stunning open office.

Wright believed new materials, like steel, enabled bolder designs.

"The box was a fascist symbol

and the architecture of freedom and democracy needed something beside the box."

Just in case you missed that, he just said boxes are fascist.

Yeah.

Doesn't that sound a lot like modern open office hype?

But there were big differences between what Wright made and what we have today.

This thing was incredibly well designed.

First are these dendriform columns.

Dendriform means tree like.

They were so elegantly skinny, they worried building inspectors.

The ceiling let in natural light.

Visitors compared it to a cathedral.

Wright also specially designed each of these desks and chairs.

Just look at all the space between them.

And managers got private offices on a mezzanine.

Wright said that it paid off.

"One of the first consequences was tea in the afternoon,

and they didn't like to go home."

But Wright's open office was very different

from the open drudgery in, say, 1960s "The Apartment."

People eliminated Wright's careful design work

and made

a copy of a copy of a copy.

Open, but without Wright's genius behind it.

That's why people thought a "cubicle"

might be the solution.

The May 1968 issue of Progressive Architecture has a lot of gems.

Like this flooring that's…asbestos tile?

Hindsight 20/20 probably shoulda gone with linoleum.

Page 174 has a spread about a movement called Bürolandschaft.

It means "office landscape,"

and started in Germany in the 1950's.

By the 60's, it had made its way to America.

Look at this diagram of DuPont Chemical's boxy,

very organized offices before Bürolandschaft.

And now look at the fluid, organic layout they ended up with.

The idea was to make offices open, but keep them flexible.

Herman Miller did the same with their "Action Office."

"And what exactly is Action Office?"

"Well, I'm walking through it right now."

Herman Miller's Robert Propst

designed it to break up space,

but

it allowed for easy interaction and rearrangement.

There were even special task groups for each part of the office.

The idea was constant flexibility

with specifically designed furniture.

But when people copied Bürolandschaft and Action Office,

they forgot the flexibility and attention to detail.

They only saw the walls.

So over the decades we got a copy of a copy of a copy.

And went from thoughtful design to

cubicle farm.

"We'll go ahead and get this all fixed up for you."

"Great."

Today's supposedly hip open offices are, in part, a reaction to cubicle hatred.

But many lack the care and attention of the open offices of Frank Lloyd Wright,

or the partitioned privacy of Herman Miller and Bürolandschaft.

We've kind of got the worst of both worlds.

The open offices we have are overrated bullpens,

but the idea

is worth executing well.

Because it matters too much to stop trying to fix it.

"By that we mean the 40 hours a week,

the 87,000 hours,

the nearly 10 full years of your life you spend inside the four walls of one room."

So I don't wanna leave you with the impression that Frank Lloyd Wright's open office was perfect.

His custom-designed three legged chairs turned out to be kind of unstable,

and they were eventually replaced.

'Teen Mom' Star Kailyn Lowry Doesn't See Herself Co-Parenting With Javi Marroquin - Duration: 2:20.

'Teen Mom' Star Kailyn Lowry Doesn't See Herself Co-Parenting With Javi Marroquin

Kailyn Lowry once again opened up about her relationship with ex Javi Marroquin.

Lowry and Marroquin will star in the upcoming season of Marriage Boot Camp, but chances of reconciliation for the Teen Mom 2 stars are slim as their divorce has already been finalized.

They only signed on for the WEtv show in order to be better parents to their son, Lincoln, 3. However, Lowry has doubts over co-parenting with her ex.

To be honest with you, no I dont [see us getting there], Lowry told Us Weekly on co-parenting with Marroquin. Javi has a very different personality from Jo and from everyone Ive ever been with.

So I feel like, how Javi and Is relationship is now, is how it will always be. It was very roller coaster-y when we were married, so now that were divorced, its not really a surprise.

Lowry explained that its not a trust issue. Rather, it is a part of Javis attitude that she cant pinpoint that has her doubting they will be able to co-parent their child.

I dont necessarily think its a trust thing — this is who he is. Theres a side to Javi that nobody knows, that nobody sees except for me. I cant really explain it. Its the way his brain works, I guess, the MTV star added.

Back in January, there were speculations that Lowry and Marroquin were getting back together, but the latter insisted that they do not want to reconcile.

[I dont know] where the rumor started about me and kail getting back together. No. Never, Javi wrote (as quoted by Us Weekly). Not tryna disrespect but we are much happier apart.

Marroquin added that they have hardly spoken to each other since Lowry filed for divorce last year.

Their priority at the moment is making their kids happy. He stressed that they are not happy together, and that is why they have decided to move on from their relationship.

In related news, Lowry recently denied the allegations that she cheated on Marroquin when they were still together.

Okay, Im just going to say it because I already started. Theres like a whole misconception that I cheated on Javi while he was deployed, which is super frustrating because thats not the case, Lowry said. It just makes for good TV, drama and ratings. Im just biting the bullet every time, but it isnt true.

Key rounds: NAVI vs NiP on Nuke @ DreamHack Masters Malmö 2017 - Duration: 4:23.

Hello, my friends! This is Evgeniy "Chaiwhy" Chayka,

and today I'll show you a round from the quarterfinal game of DreamHack Malmo 2017 against NiP.

The default strategy for de_Nuke is the wall of smoke outside,

due to this area being open and difficulty of defending Secret, this isolation attracts shooting through the smoke,

especially when there is a gap in the smoke.

So just like in the recent edition featuring G2,

NAVI try fake rounds with outside grenades and fast push, this time towards A.

At the start of the round, Edward gets up Silo and watches Secret.

When Zeus comes over, Edward smokes off Catwalk;

together with Flamie, he enters A off of a pop flash through the roof,

but he doesn't check Rafters and, as a result, goes down.

Flamie throws the long smoke towards outside, and goes into Lobby.

With the flashbangs through the roof, he enters the plant from the Hut and refrags Edward killing Xizt towards Rafters.

Being low HP, he takes position behind the plant, he throws two flashbangs

and waits for the opponent from Heaven, until he gets the desired frag.

Seized controls the outside push and throws the first smoke.

Denis throws a flashbang through the window glass, which Zeus broke a moment before.

Then they enter through the Hut as the second wave of the attack,

Seized throws a Molotov towards Heaven and checks Lobby push, where he finds the opponent.

He moves towards Squeaky to shut down the enemy lurker with S1mple, but gets eliminated by the sniper from Heaven.

At the start of the round, Zeus moves towards Lobby.

He doesn't detect any push, so he retreats towards the roof.

The captain throws a fake flash towards Outside and breaks the glass for Seized's flashbangs.

Moving through the Hut, he gets taken down by the opponent at Squeaky behind him.

S1mple's responsible for the closest smoke outside.

He is a third man into Hut and refrags Zeus.

Picks up an AK-47 and watches Main, where he gets the second frag.

Adjusts to Seized's information on the enemy's lurker and adds the third kill to his name.

This is not a perfect execution of the strategy though:

Firstly, as the first man into the site, Flamie should've checked Rafters.

However, since he's mostly a refragger, who's going second,

he didn't adjust to the situation and just pushed straight through.

Edward, in turn, realizing that he wasn't an entry-fragger this round,

Rafters were supposed to be checked and since Flamie was still alive, he had to watch other angles.

As a result, an absolutely unnecessary opening frag.

Secondly, S1mple's overaggression.

He had a bomb and planned to plant it,

but after he got information from Seized, decided to hunt the enemy's lurker down.

Had S1mple lost the duel, the CT would've gotten control of the bomb in Lobby;

Seized wouldn't be able to refrag s1mple, as he was going for a flank through Squeaky;

and low HP Flamie out in the open, who wouldn't get a frag,

because the enemy sniper in Heaven would watch Hut,

instead of trying to go for another aggressive pick from the same position.

This gives NAVI a great reason to continue working,

and for us it proves that everyone makes mistakes and the key is to be able to identify them.

Having little experience of playing de_nuke competitively,

Natus Vincere managed to put up a decent fight against one of the best teams on this map,

and actually were a step away from winning the game a few times.

Hopefully the Born to Win will improve on this map and add it to their map pool.

That'll be all for today, thank you for watching.

Drop a like and share your thoughts on this round, see you soon!

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IF YOU GOT A NEW BOYFRIEND (Eng subs) | Sasha Bradbury - Duration: 3:01.

Hey guys! My name is Sasha

and today I am gonna tell you

what to do if you got a new boyfriend

Encourage your boyfriend

if he perfectly performs your commands

for example "leave it", "home", "come", "buy"

But don't overuse the commands bc he will get tired

Watch his appearance

whether his nails are trimmed, whether he lost his socks

whether his hair is combed

Watch his hygiene

daily showers, checking his overhairiness,

washing his hands after walking

Don't let him hang out with his friends too often

you never know what he can catch from them

During the first 2 month after you got a new bf

feed him the way he was fed before you

after his adaptation, feed him the way which is suitable for u

there is that breed of males which makes a lot of mess

his socks, clothes everywhere, not putting down the toilet seat

so you should carefully choose a bf

but you'll never know him until he lives by your side

Use carrot and stick method

if he doesn't want to perform your commands -

use you main weapon - blackmail

u know what I mean

as soon as he performs them he gets his carrot

but remember rule 1 don't overuse it

Organize his personal space where he can put his toys

computer, game consoles

so he doesn't bother you

don't let him be there too long, max 30 mins a day

otherwise he wiil forget you

and the last little tip - buy an air freshener

I hope I helped you

and remember - a bf is a huge responsibility

which takes a lot of time and your personal freedom

the more time you spend with him

the stronger he gets attached to you and you to him
