Breaking News-Manchester United's Transfer Announcement Of 'Fred The Red' Is Comedy Gold - Duration: 2:33.

Manchester United's Transfer Announcement Of 'Fred The Red' Is Comedy Gold

Manchester United have officially confirmed the signing of Fred Rodrigues from Shakhtar Donetsk with a brilliant transfer announcement video on social media.

The Brazil international dropped a huge hint that he was Manchester United-bound at the start of the month before swiftly deleting a tweet revealing his location.

But after much negotiation, the deal is now concrete after he completed his medical at Carrington training ground, two weeks ago.

On Thursday afternoon, the club released the following video of Fred The Red playing the piano before being told that were not doing that again.

Sit back, relax and enjoy this brilliant transfer announcement.

Pictures of Fred holding the Manchester United shirt have gone down well this afternoon as Jose Mourinho looks to rebuild for the coming season.

with another player, right-back Diogo Dalot, also joining from Porto.

A statement on Uniteds official website read:.

Manchester United is delighted to announce it has reached agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk for the transfer of Frederico Rodrigues de Paula Santos.

Before you get to know Fred, though, theres something you need to know about his name - youve been pronouncing his name wrong this whole time.

Thats according to South American football expert Tim Vickery, who said in his column in the Radio Times that English-speaking folk have been pronouncing many South American names incorrectly.

Freds name is actually pronounced FRAY-zhee.

Do you think this is a good signing from Manchester United ahead of the new season?.

Man Utd transfer news: Big Harry Kane claim made by Gary Neville - Duration: 2:03.

That is according to Sky Sports pundit and former Manchester United right-back Gary Neville

Kane's rise to stardom has been mesmeric over the last few years at Tottenham. He has won the Premier League Golden Boot in two of the last three seasons, only missing out to Liverpool sensation Mohamed Salah last term

Kane is captaining England at the World Cup, the Three Lions' youngest ever skipper at the tournament, and scored both goals in their opening 2-1 win over Tunisia

Neville says Kane would get into any starting XI in the competition and would cost well over £100million

"World class for me is defined by 'would he get into any other team in the tournament?'," Neville told Sky Sports

"I think he would, I think other teams would have to find a place for him, I think he's that good

"There will be people that say 'how do you define world class?'.  "His performances in the last two or three years in the Premier League, his performances for England, his stature, the fact that I think if he was made available for sale every club in Europe would want him

"That's talking about Real Madrid, Manchester United, all the clubs that have got the sort of £100m-odd, would want him straight away

"He's gold for me in terms of stable character, strong mentally, capable of withstanding physical knocks

"

Empties | Beauty & Makeup Products I've Used Up - Duration: 9:53.

hello gorgeous welcome back to my channel I'm doing a fun video today for

you guys that I have never done before which is surprising because I feel like

every beauty YouTuber out there has done it and that's empties and I have been

keeping a bag right here of all of the empties that I have

accumulated in the past couple of months

I guess I've never done one for you guys before because I just rarely make it to

the bottom of my products before we have to like go travel or do whatever

especially make up cuz I'm constantly trying new things so I'm gonna dig into

this bag and show you what I've actually used all the way down to the bottom

first product up is something that I loved through my pregnancy I've loved

before my pregnancy and I love after my pregnancy I've been using this since

high school is the Olay in shower body lotion I bought this in a six pack off

of Amazon because they're so hard to find in store it is what it says it is

it's in shower lotion so after you wash you put it on your skin and then you

rinse it off and then you can skip lotion after you have a shower so it's

just like one quick thing and you're done and I love it I love the way it

smells although it makes my skin feel and I keep buying this because it's just

an awesome awesome product so love it next one is a baby product because I

thought well I mean McKenley needs a little shout out too so this is the

Johnsons bedtime baby bath I saw this at Target and I was I was just intrigued

because I was like it it says it's clinically proven route clinically

proven routine helps baby fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer and I

loved that it had a lavender scent to it I don't know it's just something that we

enjoyed adding to her bath every night we just had a little bit of like a

capful into her a little baby bath I mean it smell good gave her a little bit

of bubbles yeah I love it I highly recommend it okay so the next one is two

as a two for one so I have been on the hunt for a natural toothpaste that gives

me the same feeling of clean that my non natural toothpaste do and then also

whitens so the first one I tried is Tom's this is the with fluoride natural

whole hair and the spearmint gel so um I actually

really like this I feel like it made my teeth feel really clean I feel like it

helped keep them white I really liked it and then also I did I used Smits

wonderment this is the tooth and mouth paste this helps whiten teeth impression

breath I like this one a lot as well it rides we have like a said wintergreen or

peppermint peppermint peppermint gum this reminds me a peppermint gum if I

had to pick one over the the other for a taste it would be the Schmidt's but I

feel like they're very comparable and I like both of them for for what it is

there have been a couple of Tom's toothpastes that I don't like but this

is one that I actually do like okay next product is the solo wazoo gentle

cleansing oil I mean there is like not even a drop left in here this stuff is

bomb I love it so much I use this too okay so what I do is I take warm water

and you know do my eyes like trying to get the stuff moving without rubbing so

that it kind of loosens it and then I take the cleansing oil and rub it all

over my face including around my eyes get the makeup loose you know like oily

my whole face oily not sudsy but you know what I mean and then I rinse and

then I move on with cleansing and this is part of the Korean skincare where

they double cleanse I think because I do in oil cleanse and then a so cleanser I

triple cleanse because I will do a makeup wipe oil cleanse and then a soap

cleanser but I want to make sure that I have really clean skin because I've

noticed that if I even leave just a tiny bit of makeup on then it's gonna clog my

pores so this is fantastic I love it and I need some like now any more next

product is Estee Lauder's reading nutreve this is the ultimate lift

regenerating youth serum I this one is supposed to be used AM and PM before

your renew tree voice chur Iser so I would use this at night before before I

would use the Estee Lauder advanced night repair I am a huge advanced night

repair product fan I I think it's incredible I love the way it makes my

skin feel it's just something that I and it's a cult classic like this is one of

those things that's going to be forever on beauty like every beauty magazines

list of must-haves it's amazing the serum it's fine I feel

like when you put the two together it really makes your skin look and feel

very silky very just beautiful but I don't know that I felt like I got any

better results with this than I did with just this I hope that made sense so

these two together didn't feel like we made my skin look any different than

just this by itself so maybe maybe I'm not looking close enough I don't know

but I I'm just such a fan of this and yeah I can't sing the praises enough for

the event tonight night repair ok the next product is the SK 2 facial

treatment essence this is the Patera I did a whole blog post on this I don't

know probably six months ago and I've been seeing it all over social media

lately I use the entire thing as you can tell there's not a drop left in it I

really like it I like to use it in the morning I don't use it in the evening in

the evening I use my pixi by petra glycolic glow tonic which I love the

glow glow tonic but I use this in the morning and I feel like it made my skin

look really fresh really dewy and it just left its I use it in place so I

guess it's technically a toner it's called it it's actually a skin balancing

essence so I don't know if that's technically a toner or not but I use it

in plate in the place of a toner and I feel like a lot of toners leave your

skin looking and feeling like kind of dry and sapped of moisture this does not

do that that this like helps put the moisture back into your skin helps to

hydrate your skin before applying your serums and your moisturizer so I really

like it highly recommend okay so the next product is an exfoliant and I know

that there's a lot of controversy about exfoliant sand about what they do to our

environment and whatnot honestly I don't have an opinion on it because I'm not

well studied enough on which ones are good and which ones aren't but I will

say that I've been using this product on and off for years and I like what it

does to my skin and that's what my review is a solely based off of what I

feel like it does for my skin so if you have any negative comments about

exfoliants or about this product at all just don't even comment because I don't

have enough knowledge to have an argument with you just a heads up but

okay so it's the same as fresh skin apricot scrub this thing has been around

forever like it's been around since all of us have been before we were born

sure I I love it I think that it does an amazing job just what I need to

exfoliate and I need it on the go and I don't want to spend a ton of money on an

exfoliator so this is this is what I go for I reach for love it I have a couple

of other ones that I also love - one of them one of which is is it the faceshop

black sugar scrub I've talked about it before that does amazing it makes my

skin look so good but I'm a huge fan of exfoliating I

think that it should be a part of every single woman and man's beauty regimen I

think you should be exfoliating regularly and I think that that's how

you really get your best looking skin okay next product is Nioxin this is the

3-step system you guys have seen me talk about this post about it everything this

is not sponsored this is just me telling you again how much I love it I use this

entire thing as empty the conditioner is not with it because I still have a

little bit of the conditioner left sometimes that happens why is that like

I feel like I never ever use shampoo and conditioner and they run out of the

exact same time why is that I mean I have the same amount of hair what am I

doing wrong a lot of times I get done with the conditioner or not the shampoo

but most the time it's I get down the shampooing off the conditioner and

that's what happened in this case if you guys want to know more about this

product I did a couple videos you can look back on my channel and then I

recently talked about on Instagram too but so it's really made a difference in

my hair loss since having the baby I've noticed that I haven't had the shedding

that a lot of people have complained about and maybe I haven't reached that

point in postpartum but I hope that I don't reach that point because this has

helped to prevent that next product is a natural deodorant that's another thing

that I have talked about a lot and if you watch my Amazon faves I already

talked about this so I'm just gonna throw it out there again it is this

natural deodorant the brand is bali secrets i got the original essence it's

the only natural deodorant that i've been able to find that actually has made

a difference it actually worked so turret thumbs up on this one

so next product is the TARDIS contour Tarte palette I've been talking about

this forever it's technically not all the way empty but I hit pan on three of

the shades which is the banana the regular and then also the lighter

contour shade the lighter bronzer and yeah I just love it I don't know what

else I can say about it that I have an AR

you said in other videos it's amazing and another two thumbs up next product

is the laura mercier secret brightening powder there's a tiny bit left in there

but I felt like it was so close to being done that I should throw it in the

empties I have been through so many of these it is my favorite powder for

setting your under eyes because it actually does brighten and make

everything just look amazing and refreshed awake alive and then the last

product is the superhero mascara from it cosmetics just I've been through I think

like two or three tubes of this and the last I don't know six months or so it's

amazing mascara I love it I love the brush and yeah so love it alright guys

so that is my empties collection that is what I have been collecting the last

couple of months the stuff that I've actually used all the way to the end and

what I thought about each one of them so let me know in the comments below what

video you want to see from me next and don't forget to visit me on my blog

Angela Lee intercom thank you guys so much for watching and I love y'all so

much or what

THE FEATURE I've been wanting for YEARS is finally here! - Duration: 5:13.

If you have ever been working on bigger projects where you've printed more than one part

at a time you probably already encountered the problem that one of the parts got loose

and ruined the whole print.

Today I'll show you how there is finally the possibility to cancel individual parts

of a print.

Guten Tag everybody, I'm Stefan and welcome to CNC Kitchen.

Most of you might have already encountered the problem that you were working on a multi

part project, printed a couple of parts at once and shortly before the job is finished,

one parts came loose of the printbed and ruined the whole print.

You have either the possibility to still hope for the best, try to somehow fix the loose

part in place or kill the 3D print and start again from zero.

In my normal job I work with pretty expensive powder bed fusion machines where a lost job

can cost you hundreds or even thousands of dollars, so deactivating a part that is about

to ruin your job is a common practice.

I have been looking for such a feature on FDM machines for ages, but as far as I know,

nobody has implemented something like that so far, until now.

A couple of days ago a plugin was released for Octoprint that lets you deactivate individual

parts of your printjob.

Octoprint is a 3D printer interface that usually runs on a RaspberryPi, which lets you monitor

your prints remotely and many other things.

In addition, it can be extended with plugins for even more functionality.

If now a part of my printjob fails, I deactivate it, finish the rest of the print and just

reprint the failed part.

The new plugin that makes this possible is called CancelObjects and it does exactly what

its name suggests.

It's really easy to install by using the integrated plugin manager and searching for

cancel.

After a restart the Cancel Objects plugin will be ready to go.

I have been using it for a week now and already was able to find a couple of bugs which the

developer was able to fix.

Now it's at a state where I think it's well usable even though it's still in an

early development state.

The reason why I still post this video is that I think this is one of the features future

3D printers need to have and it hasn't been addressed so far.

So please give it a try, spread the word, report the bugs, help improve it with your

ideas and if you are a programmer help out in the development!

The way this plugin works is pretty simple.

Before you run a job, it analyzes the g-code file for markers where the individual parts

start and puts all of the parts in a list.

When you later cancel a part, it will then skip the lines from a part marker until the

start of the next part.

And here comes the first current drawback, because only Simplify3D is so far able to

produce these part markers and this also requires you to create individual process for each

part.

To my knowledge this isn't so far possible in any other slicer.

But if you like the idea, then share this with the developers from CURA, Slic3r and

all of the others so also these free tools are able to be used with the plugin.

CancelObject will add an indicator bar to the top of Octoprint showing you the current

object that is printed.

In your settings you can define additional things like which commands will be ignored,

for example, layer changes.

As I said, the plugin is still under development and there are still a couple of things that

need to be sorted out, like not unintentionally skipping layer changes or any other significant

g-code.

Also, I would really like so see a graphical representation of my parts for the canceling

process which would be not too hard to setup since by analyzing the g-code you could figure

out the bounding box of each part.

With the 32bit controllers and touchscreens that become more common for 3D printers I

could also see this being implemented directly in the machines themselves.

Some big thanks go to Paul Paukstalis, the developer of this plugin who is sharing this

great piece of code with the community.

What's your opinion on canceling individual objects of a print?

Have you also been looking for something like this or do you think that it just makes things

spring favorites 2018 🌻 books, movies, clothes, etc. - Duration: 12:50.

hello!

today I'm going to be sharing with you my spring favorites because summer

is pretty much here

it felt like summer two months ago

but the summer solstice

hasn't come yet so I'm considering myself not late

let's just get right to

it this will be random I'll try not to be random

the first thing that I was

really really really obsessed with this month were webcomics or like webtoons I

have to give a special shout out or like a big THANK YOU to one of my

co-bloggers, Priscilla

I met her when I was in New York and she recommended me

this webtoon called I Love Yoo – I LOVE YOO.

I Love Yoo pretty much feels like a

kdrama. I can't really describe it; I don't know how to summarize it and I'm

not going to try it's just really good so good so good

it made me weirdly the emotional yeah

that's like one that's really really popular and then another one that I just

found on the app and I really really liked is called Super Secret and it's

pretty much about this guy and a girl who are really close friends they're

like best friends they're also neighbors but the thing is is that the guy is a

werewolf and she doesn't know and things happen so that's really cute and I love

the art for that and this last one that I was so obsessed with is Cheese in the Trap

if you watch Korean dramas you might have heard of it because there was

a Korean drama based off of that

Wow the webtoon is so good so good it's like a

wild ride yeah I pretty much realized that webtoons

are like Korean dramas that you can read with nice art

if you have any webtoon

recommendations or comic recommendations please give me a comments down below I

really need to like read more

next up on my list is if book and I'm sure

everybody knows this and it's Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan

I actually have

been meaning to read this for a really long time but because the movie was

coming out and also because it was just sitting on my sister's bookshelf and I

was doing Asian Lit bingo which was I think it was a month of May where this

book club called lit celebrasian –LIT celebrASIAN – was doing a bingo where you

tried to read as many Asian books as you can and

like find a bingo and so this was a bingo box for a contemporary with an

Asian MC

I like already had a copy I really wanted to read it – just perfect

timing and decided to pick it up not because of the bingo actually but

because it was just there and I'd like to wanted to read it and also a couple

of my friends have been telling me to read it so yeah

that was really long but

I finally read it and i was so obsessed

I dunno

more recently I've been reading

really good books but they haven't made me want to keep reading them like I know

they're good but then I stopped in the middle and then I did something else and

then you keep reading I'm like this is so great and then I stopped in the middle

but this – I think I read this in like three days which is really fast for me

it was just weirdly addictive

SO ADDICTIVE

i just GAH

now i'm soexcited for the movie oh my god

I want to go to Singapore and want to do an

Asian tour I want like travel everywhere and I wanna I like find a rich husband

because I want to live that crazy rich Asian lifestyle no joke

so precious

crazy rich asians – if you haven't read it, you should go read it

especially with summer, before the movie comes out because I'm so pumped

Oh like after reading this book, I don't know why, but I felt more proud to be

Asian even though it's not like a necessarily positive one it's like to(xic)

it's just great so great

also I finally watched Black Panther and that

was so great everyone was hyping Black Panther and I was like ah meh whatever

because I never watched any Marvel movies

and I don't really want to I did but not

really?? and then after I watched Black Panther I'm like oh my god I need to

watch every single Marvel movie and then yeah so now I'm in the process of

actually watching all the Marvel movies GO ME. that was one the movie that I

really really liked in the spring um

another movie I watched was Porco Rosso

which is a Studio Ghibli film and I think it's directed by Miyazaki it was a

film that they had for the Studio Ghibli fest

I actually had no idea what the

story was about but I bought tickets and I went to the movie theater because I

wanted to watch a Studio Ghibli film and I

watched it and I was like this so so sad

I was so emotionally wrecked and pretty much

you don't need to know what it's about but you can just go and watch it and

it's still so good

thinking back it's literally just about a pig

who's a pilot after World War one I think that's that's pretty much it it's

about a pig

it's about a flying pig

but I'm so emo it's so good and now I'm

trying to find where I can watch all the Studio Ghibli films because I get it and

another thing: I got Hulu because I've been actually

I've been wanting to get Hulu for a while but I mostly got it just so

I could watch fresh-off-the-boat because

this is after my crazy rich asians like

thing and then I went to go rewatched a trailer and then I was like I love

Constance Woo but I've never like actually watched the whole fresh off the

boat I've only seen a couple episodes and I was like, "I need to watch fresh off

the boat," so I got Hulu, and I was watching fresh off the boat I was like this

is such a great show oh my god

people watch fresh off the boat especially if

you're Asian I think like you would really really appreciate it if you were

Asian there is like some episodes that were so relatable. I was starting from the

beginning so it was like one of the first few episodes and it was the one

where he's bringing his Asian food to lunch and then he starts to want one

Lunchables for lunch it was like oh my god if this isn't me as a child

okay I remember bringing seaweed snacks and Pocky to lunch as a kid and this

just before like Asian snacks started get trendy and so I was like sharing it

with my friends and they're like

this is nasty!! why would you eat this?!! why would you eat SEAWEED????

I was like, "MOM, I want Lunchables."

fresh off the boat is

creating quality content

in terms of beauty and clothes I've been obsessed

with this dress that I'm wearing which is the Everlane wrap dress it's the

short one with the sleeves I'll leave a link down below but yeah I've been

obsessed with Everlane – like I went to Everlane so many times while I was in

New York like there's this one week where I've really in three times because

they kept releasing new stuff like that week

so I wanted to try it and this is like one of the new stuff that I was trying

that week and I got it I was like oh yeah anyway I love this dress for some

reason it makes me feel like longer and it's just like really comfortable to

wear although sometimes this bow kind of starts to sag and then if you don't tie

it tight enough then it falls apart and it's like that's annoying but it's just

a really nice summer dress and I really like the fabric and everything about it

is really nice so yay Everlane

another thing is this Uniqlo puffer that I've

been wearing so much while I'm traveling I actually bought this when I was in

London because I didn't have like a light puffer but my mom recently bought

me a like puffer before I went to London and I didn't like it because it wasn't a fan of the

color I wasn't a fan of the cut. In general, I'm not a big fan of puffers because I feel

like they're so ugly (sry)

but this one is actually really cute and I love the cut

and I love the color and I've been wearing it so much like whenever I hang

out with friends or whenever I try to meet people

I'm always in this puffer and it's really really light and super like

squishable? like it came with a bag where you can squish it into the bag and it's

just so great

I was wearing it a lot in New York and then it would be like not

that cold – it'd be sixty degrees maybe fifties so not cold enough to wear a

puffer but kind of chilly and then I would wear this because it's really

light and then people would be like why are you wearing that it's like so thick

and I'm like well it's kind of cold and I don't have any other jackets because

my closet is only so big – it's in a luggage

it'd be interesting because even

though it's when it's pretty cold like low forties I can wear this and like a

sweater and be fine and even when it's pretty warm high 60s I could wear this

and not feel so terrible so it's a really versatile puffer that I really

really enjoy and I'm really glad that I had it during the spring since it's like

solid

next thing on my list are these Cole Hann sandals that I don't have with

me they're downstairs and too lazy to go down and get them but pretty much

they're kind of like platform sandals but the bottom of the sandal is a

platform of its sneaker and so you can walk a lot and be fine in the

sandals and they actually look really cute and so I really enjoyed wearing

them and I've been wanting these sandals for a long time but I just didn't know

where they were from because I saw other people wearing them

and then when I finally found out

like where they were from I was like I'm gonna get them tomorrow and I actually

went to the Cole Hann the next day and I was like yes they're great and so I

bought them

the last thing on my list is actually

it's a personality test called

the ennegram and I feel like a lot of people know what it is but not a lot of

people?? in terms of personality tests I think Myers-Briggs Type Indicator like

the MBTI is the most popular one that everyone knows about

aside from Hogwarts house but then the one that's getting more and more popular

is the Enneagram and I've been kind of really obsessed with it

so basically the

Enneagram had nine different types

each person is categorized into one type with

maybe a wing? it's really confusing but you should just look it up there are

nine types and I actually heard about it a while ago I think it was a Bustle

article or something online, maybe Teen Vogue, or whatever. they we're

talking about unpopular personality tests that were also really accurate and

I saw it and then I tried looking into it and I got really really confused and

so I was like oh no I'm still gonna like stick to the myers-briggs in terms of

personality tests and then I was listening to this podcast called Selfie

for nine weeks they had an Enneagram era where they were interviewing people

from each Enneagram type and explaining what the type is like and examples of

the type and so you got to really really personally know about each type and that

was super interesting and that got me like really really into the Enneagram

I tried taking a bunch of tests but then every single time I get a different

result and that was just like really confusing for me

finally I decided to

actually pay for the actual test; I think it was like 13 dollars and the actual

test was like 20 to 40 minutes long

it was like a really cohesive test and I

took it and they gave me three results and the results were a seven, a five, and

a nine and I was really really confused because like I thought I would get a

three or a nine

yeah I thought I would get a three or

nine but the nine which is like a peacemaker I didn't see myself as a

peacemaker but at the same time, I did

and then I was reading about the nines

no I'm not a 9, and the thing is is that the 7 and the 5 or the opposite

ends of each other

for example a 7 is the most extroverted one and the 5 is

supposedly the most introverted

one really really confused and for a long

time I was convinced that I was a 5 but then when the enneagram episode came out

for a type 5 I took the test

when they were only up to 3 or 4 and so

I waited two weeks I listened to the type 5 one and I was like

wait that person

does not sound like me at all and so I was conflicted for two weeks and then

when the 7 episode came out I listened to it and I was like oh my god this guy

is me

especially because like the person they interviewed just so happened to be

an introvert so it was like an introverted 7 and I was like oh my god

this is actually me and so I found out it was a 7 and that was that

and when I

went to New York and I was asking my sister if she knew about the types and

she was like no and so I told her to take the test and then I found out about her type

and it was like really interesting we both got like really into it because we're

both really into personality tests

afterwards she told like her friends to

take it and I got like super super into the enneagram

that was really long

in conclusion if you know

what your enneagram type is, please let me know! I think it's so interesting

I'm an INFP but I am a type 7

if you know the enneagram and I tell you these

things then it would make sense to but then I feel like if you don't wanna know

what the enneagram is and you're like confused, go look it up it's I can't I

can't explain it it's too much for me to explain

that's pretty much it that's

like all the stuff that I was obsessed with in spring I hope you have a a

wonderful day and thank you for watching

Darren Aronofsky & Ari Handel: How 'One Strange Rock' Can Educate Scientists & Children | THR - Duration: 11:49.

(drum music)

- Hi, this is Marya Gullo from the Hollywood Reporter,

and we're in studio today

with Ari Handel and Darren Aronofsky.

Thank you very much for being here, gentlemen.

- Thank you for having us.

- You guys are the executive producers of

One Strange Rock on Nat Geo.

So the first question I wanted to ask you is

who is the first astronaut

you ever encountered in your life?

Who's the first one you saw?

- Actually the first one was probably...

- [Darren] Paolo, for me.

- No, Buzz.

- Oh why, did you meet Buzz?

- Yeah, at some event somewhere, he got (mumbling).

- Oh!

- Oh, that's pretty cool.

- But the first one I met,

it was Jeff Hoffman I met for this.

And, but really, we got to meet eight here.

So it was like a full on blast of astronaut power.

(Marya laughs)

- I met Paolo, who shot original footage for us

on the Space Station.

I didn't actually meet him,

but I got to talk to him on the phone,

and then do some email conversations with him,

but it was exciting because we got to

shoot original footage for the show on the Space Station.

In the kinda visual language that

the rest of the show was shot in.

I'd say the coolest, well I mean, they're all amazing,

but hanging out with Peggy,

who has been in space for 665 days,

and I like to call her the real life Ripley,

as in from the Alien movies,

because she's the person you want

to defend us from aliens invading.

Getting to hang out with her has been great.

- Wonderful, what is it that

all of these astronauts have in common?

Are there any common misconceptions

that this show kinda clears up about astronauts?

- I think one thing that I was surprised is,

how they're not jet pilots.

- Yes.

- And they're not The Right Stuff version,

but they really are a whole varied group

of people with varied backgrounds.

Biologists, doctors, engineers, and yes, jet pilots.

- [Darren] NFL players.

- NFL players, right.

So and then despite that

breadth of experience and background,

then there's this commonality that they all share

from this experience of going into space,

and what it does to them.

The way, their different relationship to the planet,

their different relationship to life support,

different relationship to time on the planet.

The sunrises and the sunsets,

they see 16 of those and we see one.

All those things are different,

and it lets them see the whole intricacies of the earth

in a special way, in new way that changes them.

- It doesn't matter if they've been in space

for eight days like Mae, or 665 days like Peggy.

They all kinda have this transformation.

And we talk about it on the show,

it's called cosmic consciousness, or the Overview Effect,

and it's basically seeing the earth as one system.

Something we all kind of understand and get,

but it's very easy to forget

in our daily lives of carpooling and taking kids all over,

and doing whatever other stuff

we need to do around the home.

Remembering that this is one house,

that we all share Mother Nature,

is something they get to witness firsthand.

And I think the show One Strange Rock tries to

capture that feeling and remind us all what's going on.

- Mm hm, and one of the ways it captures the feeling

is with the amazing footage.

Can you tell me a little bit about

where all of the different footage came from?

- We shot for 100 weeks.

145 countries, six continents,

the hottest place on the planet,

the coldest place on the planet,

up on the Space Station.

So we had six different crews going on at once at all times.

So a tremendous smorgasbord of

incredible places on the planet.

And that was kind of the initial pitch,

were all of these cool things

that are going on that you've never seen before.

So it's very much like looking through an episode,

or an issue of National Geographic the magazine,

how you can see snapshots of different places in the world.

And different scales,

sometimes it's people, sometimes it's animals,

sometimes it's chemistry and microbiology.

And we tried to give that spirit to the show,

but somehow unify it and connect it all,

to remind us all that it's one big system.

- And what did you learn through the process of the show

that kind of shocked you or amazed you?

- Every episode, there's something that's just mind blowing.

That there's been this exact amount of oxygen on the planet,

20.85% or some small fraction,

but that it's maintained this,

for some reason that we actually don't know the reason.

To all that was living on earth

for 3 1/2 billion years was bacteria.

To the first episode has this whole thing about diatoms,

which are these little creatures that basically

are responsible for most of the oxygen that we breathe.

What were some other things?

- Well there's endless, I mean to me,

one of the big things is how connected,

or how responsible living creatures are

for everything that we take for granted as being the planet.

The color of the sky, the dirt,

the ground, the way the rivers flow.

That all comes from life.

And contrapuntally, that everything in us,

the living creatures, are affected by this planet

in ways that we don't understand.

So seeing how interconnected everything is,

it was pretty eye-opening.

And as Darren said, every episode has something.

And I know a lot of scientists who watch the show

and say that they learn things,

and I also know a lot of kids who watch the show

and are able to take it in at the same time.

So it's nice to be able to reach that across those divides.

- At one point, they took jellyfish into space,

and the jellyfish that were born into space,

when they came back to earth,

were no longer like the jellyfish in the sea

because they didn't know which way was up or down.

So it made, it poses the question

what is it gonna mean for humans when we're born in space?

Will we still be earthlings?

- Right, and there's so many interesting speculations

about that on the show about what it's going to be like for

the first generation of people who are born off the earth.

- That's right.

Trying to underline a little bit, or ask the questions of

how separable are we from the earth,

and how reliant is the earth on our behaviors

for its ability to keep going in the way that we're used to?

- Are there any theories about space that you

still can't wrap your head around or can't understand?

- [Both Men] Probably most of them.

(laughing)

- Like 98% of everything is dark matter

but we don't know what it is, that's a good one.

- We also did, we had a VR project this year called Spheres,

where we try to take the audience

to far off places in the universe.

You know, being in the center of two black holes colliding.

Way over my head, but really cool experience.

(Marya laughing)

You know, it looked pretty.

- One of the things that all the astronauts said on the show

is that if given the opportunity,

they would go back to space.

Would you want to go to space?

- Absolutely.

- Absolutely, wouldn't you?

- I was gonna ask, have you been to space?

- Depends on how you define space.

- Yeah, exactly.

(laughing)

- Yes, I would too, yes, absolutely.

- I think most people would.

I think there's something really magical about that notion.

I think people do want,

want to break their mindset,

and see things from a different perspective.

And hopefully the show lets people do that,

in a certain way even without leaving.

- How did Will Smith become involved in the project?

- We knew that there was a lot of science,

and we wanted to figure out a communicator who could

really sort of connect with some of the intense stuff,

and make it really exciting,

and Will just seemed perfect for it

because he was able to take all of this information

and really communicate it to

pretty much everyone in an exciting way.

And then beyond that, we were blessed,

because we only had a small amount of time

because of schedules to work with him.

But he's just a complete gentleman, and totally game,

and definitely one of,

just an incredible actor to work with.

- Last question to you.

- Yes.

- If people are moved by this program,

and they're moved into the idea of conservation

or protecting the environment because of watching this show,

where do they start?

Where is a good place to start?

- You mean in their behaviors and in their life?

- In behaviors, in their life, how,

how they can help. - The first thing they do

is to vote for people who believe in science.

That's the most important thing you can do.

And to tell everyone you do.

Science has become political,

but it's not political.

Science is a way of observing the world,

and then turning those observations

into conclusions of how things work,

and then you can invent things

like cell phones and healthcare,

and all of these other things

that have just changed our lives for the better,

since the scientific method was discovered

and has been used.

So, yeah, there are people for

many different reasons now sort of cherry picking science.

And we saw, you know, Galileo they stuck in prison

for a long time for looking up at the stars.

Now people are sort of

voting and making choices

not based on science.

So I think that's the first thing is just to make sure

whoever you're voting, whoever represents you,

believes in science.

- You know NASA doesn't just

send spaceships out to Mars and to Venus and take pictures.

One of the big things that they've always done is

they put satellites around this planet,

and they study the planet closest to us, which is this one,

to understand how it works.

And that part of it, NASA,

the one that monitors and looks at this planet,

the one that gives us all the information

that's in this show, that part has been cut.

Because people...

- They don't want that information--

- They don't want to know because it's going to say things

that aren't gonna let them buy and sell

some of the things they wanna buy and sell.

So, allowing

science to inform us and to be

the vehicle for appreciating beauty and understanding,

that's a key component.

And then just try to live with respect

and awareness of the complexity and the beauty around you,

would also very be a good thing to do.

- Yeah, but that's the small contribution,

but governments are what's going to save us.

And being part of the Paris Agreement

was a huge step forward,

and now that we're the only country on the planet

that is not part of the agreement

just tells you something that's going on.

Why has every other country agreed with it except for us?

- Mm hmm, yeah.

Well, thank you for an informative

and really visually stunning and kind of mind changing,

a game changer of a show.

- Thank you.

- Thank you very much, nice to meet you.

- Nice to meet you too.

- Pleasure.

- Thank you.

Inside bias: Why so many companies make big hiring mistakes - Duration: 4:22.

In this world where we focus so much on what we're building, how we're building it,

I think we need to take a step back and reconsider why we're building, and really humanize

our technology, really bring together diverse teams of methodologies and people and mindsets

so that we can take our technology and actually apply it to the most fundamental human problems.

Today the conversation is largely about artificial intelligence, and one of the concepts that

I like to discuss in the book The Fuzzie and the Techie is this concept of intelligence

augmentation—so: thinking about using AI but using it in a way that's augmenting

the ability of humans.

So Paul English, who was the creator of Kayak.com, he is a techie through and through, but he

also calls himself an AI realist; he's somebody who believes in the promise of artificial

intelligence, but also realizes that this is not something that tomorrow or next year

or maybe perhaps in the next decade is going to completely take away from the characteristics

and the qualities of what a human can provide.

And so he's now creating a company called Lola that's based in Boston, and Lola is

sort of Kayak 2.0, where rather than trying to take the travel industry and put it online

he's actually taking travel and putting it back into the hands of travel agents, real

people that are working on the phones dealing with people that are calling in to book travel.

And what he's doing is he's supplementing those travel agents with technology, with

artificial intelligence, really "flipping the letters" and trying to use intelligence

augmentation as an AI realist to sort of better the service that a travel agent can provide.

Eric Colson, who is the Chief Algorithms Officer at Stitch Fix, he uses machine learning—he

uses artificial intelligence, but to augment the human stylist.

So they have 60 or 70 data scientists working on creating machine learning algorithms, but

those are used to supplement the 3400, 3500 stylists who have their own propensities for

delivering fashion, they have their own biases as to the geography or the age or the style

preferences of somebody they might be serving clothing to.

And so the machine learning actually learns the bias of the human over time and tries

to mitigate that bias by offsetting the selection of clothing that they provide at that particular

stylist.

And I think that's a really interesting example of artificial intelligence not necessarily

taking away from that stylist but actually augmenting, improving, helping them perform

better.

And I think that flipping the letters from AI to IA is really something that we should

be thinking more about today in the context of the AI debate.

I think it starts with job requisition and writing sort of the job descriptions that

we want to hire for.

And I think we are bombarded by applicants, we're bombarded by new resumes and "data

driven processes", and so the quick answer is to use natural language processing and

screen for keywords, to run things through a filter and draw out the resumes that really

hit the five key words that relate to your team.

And I think what this does is it creates sort of an "inside bias," where you're creating

and you're bringing together people that all have sort of the same perspective, the

same backgrounds, and it can really sort of create in the sense of what Daniel Kahneman,

the 2006 Nobel Prize winner and behavioral economics talks about as "inside bias".

And I think to the extent that we can think about inside/outside bias and trying to bring

say 20 percent of the team from a different perspective, from a different vector, from

a different methodology or background, that can really bring diversity to a team where,

if you have a data science team, 80 percent of the people may make perfect sense to have

them have complete backgrounds in data science—but what's to say that 20 percent of the team

shouldn't be philosophers or psychologists or anthropologists?

And I think that sort of mentality of almost "Google 20 percent time," thinking about

it for 20 percent people time, 20 percent difference of methodology or difference of

perspective.

Virgil Abloh Talks Louis Vuitton: "I Want A Young Generation To Know There's Someone Listening" - Duration: 8:37.

Virgil Abloh Talks Louis Vuitton: "I Want A Young Generation To Know There's Someone Listening"

Up at the Louis Vuitton men's studio at the company's headquarters at 2, Rue Pont Neuf yesterday there was pandemonium, a swirling organised chaos, going on around Virgil Abloh.

The man of the moment on whom the eyeballs of the fashion world are glued – and, more importantly, those of the global millions of the boy fans who adulate him – was bounding genially around, 24 hours before the debut which has already been characterised as a seismic upheaval at the very centre of the fashion establishment.

It's not hard to appreciate that momentousness.

This office building, where visitors must deposit their passports or ID cards before entry, has all the intimidating atmosphere of a French government department.

It's that grand, that powerful: The ministry of Louis Vuitton, where the first African-American, 37 years old, hailing from Rockford, Illinois, has taken over to direct the output of the storied luxury brand, for men.

As he greeted yet more friends, artists, musicians, and graphic designers, who were converging on the fitting – some will walk in the show – he passed through his office, pointing out decks and a mic,

"We've got a radio station running out of here!" and then smiled, "Look at all my friends over here – males – they love style, they love luxury. They just want something they can believe in.".

Multi-tasker as he is – he'd just arrived back from his Off-White show, without a shadow of exhaustion about him – Abloh is conscious that his responsibility at Vuitton goes a good deal beyond just doing a great commercial job.

He's setting an example for a rising generation, too: "I'm here; I want to show that I'm just a figure with many more behind him.

I've cracked open the door. I want to show it's open, to meet people halfway.".

To that end, he has invited 3,000 students to the open air spectacular he's planned, in a takeover of the gardens of the Palais Royal.

On their seats, all guests will find a programme Abloh has thought through with the eye and brain of the graphic designer he is: "They will be able to identify who the models are, what they do.

It's about giving them an identity, about them no longer being anonymous bodies.

There's a map of where they live in the world, and where their parents came from.

I thought that works, you know, with the idea of Louis Vuitton and travel.

Bernard Arnault - Chairman and CEO of LVMH, Louis Vuitton's parent company- got it immediately.".

It works on the level of much else, of course.

Abloh is planning much more symbolism that will send his very visible, very people-friendly message of inclusion around the internet in nanoseconds as the audience takes their seats at 2pm Paris time.

As he moved along the racks and checked over the trainers, he remarked, "Yeah, now men are buying trainers like women buy handbags." (And, oh yes: His old school idea for these are going to cause earth tremors in sneakerhead land.)

He also vocalised his feelings about the day he knew he was confirmed for the job, a condensed transcript of which follows: "For the whole day of the announcement there was this big outswell, this feeling of: It's shocking! On the radio in Jamaica, they announced it.

It was a big deal in America, it transcended. So I was like, wait, clothes are clothes.

How can we add importance? Now it's time to bring a message up with me.".

"Before, I'd already had, like, seven collections planned, but I took the plane from Chicago to Paris, and for six hours, I couldn't sleep.

Suddenly, I had this vision of all the anticipation on what's going to happen at the show, of a bunch of people sitting with their arms crossed, going, 'Show me what you got!' So in three hours on that flight I re-drafted the whole collection.

Obviously everyone was thinking I'm going to do steet wear. That's not happening.

"I came up with this idea about white, but then, scientifically, the idea of white light hitting a prism, and then refracting into colour.

I mean, that's me – I'm Off-White! That's my raisonne, why I'm here, but now I have the impact of the house.

But it's deeper than that. It's race, it's models, it's the political eco-system. And practically, it's fabric, fit. Can I cut a suit? Tailoring – how can I do that?".

"Laying a foundation, that's what this season's about. I want to speak to the generation presiding.

But I also want a young generation to come in and know, hey, there's someone here who's listening, and speaking back to them.".

#59 : How to approach a woman on the street ? (Social experiment) - Duration: 13:53.

Hi Everyone, welcome on WouldYouReact, the youtube channel that brings together the people who share the same values.

Lately you've probably heard about #MeToo and the Weinstein case etc.

That has enabled all women to have the right to a free speech.

In these stories, something caught my attention

it's the fact that every guy now that approaches a woman on the street

may be considered as a pervert.

And we, as the WouldYouReact team don't want this.

Because we are for social interactions in society.

And we asked ourselves: what would be the best manner to approach someone in the street?

For this social experiment, we chose members of our team.

There's Mike, who considers himself as fairly confident

and Ludovic, who doesn't feel confident enough

to approach people on the street.

And then, there is a third person : me

Who has absolutely no idea why I accepted this social experiment.

Everything is so far away from me... I don't know how to seduce a girl anymore !

Let's go for the social experiment, we'll come back together at the end of the video

and we'll try to reach to a conclusion and understand

what's the best way to approach girls.

Let's go !!!

[Liège (Belgium)]

Hello miss, I saw you donating to the Red Cross?

[The girls don't know that it's a social experiment)

I think it's really great.

Yes I just did it, yes.

I already donated to Oxfam less than a week ago

So I thought why not donate to the Red cross too.

Really ?

Yes I don't really care, it's only 10€ anyways.

- Are you from here ? - Yes, I'm from Liege.

[Being interested in the person instead of talking too much about you is a good idea.]

- What are you studying ? - I am about to start my first year in nursing.

- Wow ! That's brave. - Yeah, well yeah.

Do you know what to expect ? - No I don't.

[Being interested in the person instead of talking too much about you is a good idea.]

- I saw you and though you were really cute. - Thank you, that's nice.

I'd like to know if it would be possible to have your Facebook or your number?

If I come back to Liege maybe...

- Yeah, I don't mind. - You don't mind?

So 04...

25...

- I am Mickael, just so you know.

- Have a great day. - Thank you, you too.

He came to find me regarding the Red Cross so of course.. It was the context.

[Take a spontaneous opportunity to start a conversation]

- Excuse-me Miss, do you know... - Sorry, I speak English...

- You are from Liège ? - No, from Israel.

You are very friendly and I like to meet people.

Is it possible to have your name ?

- What's your name ? - My name is Michael.

- Michael ? Sophie. - Sorry ?

- Sophie. - Oh it's very cool.

I am a tourist here

so it's more easy, cause I am just looking for people to talk with them

- I think it helped. - Ok

Maybe in your country, you don't react the same way ?

Yeah, I think in my country, I don't like it.

You need to go with your heart I think, that's it.

Excuse me Miss, do you have a lighter ?

Thanks.

You are very pretty.

Such a smile !

[Social interactions are still well received by women] Can I have your phone number ?

- Nah, I can't do that. - No ? - Nah, I can't.

- Why ? - Cause my boyfriend is not going to like it.

True, I can understand that. But it's just to talk...

Yes, you can say it's just to talk, but that's how it started with him !

Ah okay, thank you anyway.

Thanks !

I'm looking for the Mediacity or something like that ?

- Ah the Mediacity ! - Yeah

You need to take a bus.

Ah okay, that's not here at all then ! Do you mind if I ask for your phone number ?

- I find you really pretty. - Nah I'm sorry, but I have someone already.

- Really ? - Yes. - Cause you really have a beautiful smile.

- Thank you. - You are really nice. - I told you I am not free.

We're doing a social experiment for WouldYouReact

To see how people are...

Ah okay !!

When talking about the body shapes and things like that..

It is bothering you if people are directly talking to you about your physical appearance ?

Exactly. It's depending on every woman though , everyone is different.

Otherwise for me, yeah it's something that could work !

- Hi, are you from here ? - Yes, what for?

I find you very attractive...

... and I'd like to know if I can grab your phone number ?

- Sorry but no. - No ? Okay.

[We're all 3 going to try the experiment with a man] - Do you think his way of approaching you was good ? - Not for me, no... - Why is that?

Cause I don't give my number to guys...

... and anyway I am already in couple with a woman.

[That's Ludovic's turn]

- Hello, excuse-me, are you from here ?

- Yes.. - I am a bit lost. Is the Mediacity around here ?

- Kind of. - I am from Brussels, so I don't know...

- Could you please give me the direction ? - You need to take a bus there.

You go straight, then on your left...

Thanks, I find you really nice.

Cause I asked other people and they were not even answering me !

[Do you think he's moving to fast ?] - Can I ask you for a drink ? - Ah no, sorry !

- Do you have a boyfriend ? - I do.

Just one more question if I may..

What do you think is the best way to approach someone ?

Do you think this kind of interaction is okay or it is a little bit...

I don't really know, personally I don't like it.

Excuse me, do you have a partner already ?

I find you quite attractive

and I was wondering if we could exchange our phone numbers and get to know each other ?

I am sorry, but I am hetero..

No worries, I understand.

But I really appreciate your courage and the compliment you gave me !

That's not my style normally, I am quite an introvert.

But I thank you for your spontaneity and your honesty, that was very kind of you.

- Thank you for the compliment ! - I'll shake your hand for that !

I don't think that the street is the best..

... I mean, people are busy, ect.

But in an other place, a public place like a bar or whatever

- Hello, excuse me, are you from here ? - I am not...

Oh and just by chance, do you know where to find the Mediacity ?

You need to take the bus 33 over there and it will take you just in front of it.

- Ok, another little question, do you have a partner ? - Yes.

I find you very pretty and the way you talk is very spontanious

and charming !

- Hello, are you from here ? - Yes, I am.

- I am looking for the Media.. - The Mediacity ?

- You need to take a bus. - Dammit !

You need to take the bus 29.

- Are you studying here ? - Yes.

What are you studying ?

- Education teacher. - Special education teacher ? - Yes.

Ah yeah, I did that in Brussels.

Not for a long time though...

- Okay, bye bye. - I find you very pretty, both of you.

You have pretty eyes, i don't know if you've been told so before ? Do you have a boyfriend ?

[80% of the communication is non-verbal]

- Can we exchange our phone numbers ? - No.

- If there is too many questions and not so much answers... - Is it oppressing ?

I reacted like that because we were two and we had the time, otherwise, alone, I would have stop it straight away.

Staying natural, simple. Not trying to hit on people by talking about their eyes...

and not asking for the phone number !

It's better to ask if we know a nice coffee shop, ect.

And then if it works, we can go have a coffee together...

- You mean, continuing the conversation ? - Yes, definitely.

It was too fast ?

Yes, too fast and too needy.

Excuse me, did we met at the train station already ?

Are you from here though ?

No ? Sorry, my mistake.

You look like a woman I often see.

In any case, you are as pretty as her !

Do you have a partner ?

No, but I am not interested.

No ? Okay...

It didn't bother me because it was not too agressive.

But he was too old for me.

I thought it was quite correct the way you approached me

It didn't bother me. It didn't felt like an agression.

Did we meet already at the "English Palais" ?

Hm, I don't know...

You really look like a woman I see quite often taking the train

to come working here.

Ha.

You're not Françoise ?

Not at all, my name is Ludivine.

Nice to meet you, I am Ludo.

It's a good occasion to meet new people !

Do you have a partner ?

No, not at the moment.

I find you really pretty.

Thank you.

How old are you ?

I am 20 years old.

I am 28, that's quite an age difference !

But I find you really pretty.

Thank you.

You have beautiful eyes.

What did you like about him ?

His smile !

Is it important to smile ?

Yes of course !

And so, if he had been closer to your age, it could have worked for you ?

Yes, definitely.

[My turn... It feels like 10 years ago !]

- Excuse me, are you waiting for me ? - No.

- Are you waiting for someone ? - Yes I am.

- Who are you waiting for ? - One of my friends.

- Okay, are you from Liège ? - Yes.

I am from Brussels, I don't know much around here.

[ So stressful ! ]

Have you ever been to Brussels ?

Yes but not often.

Maybe that's an opportunity then !

Maybe.

What are your plans with your friend ?

It's my birthday, so...

Oh, Happy Birthday !

Thanks.

How old ?

23.

Do you want to exchange our numbers for the next time I visit Liège ?

Sure, no worries !

Yeah ? What's your name ?

Sonia

Sonia, 23 years old. I am Jon.

How old are you ?

30...

06 (...)

Hang on, 06 (...)

Thank you for your trust, it's really nice.

At first, I was a little bit hesitating, then I saw you were polite, ect.

So I told myself : "Yeah, not too bad".

Worst case, I am not keen, and I can say it after.

I don't know, it was calm and relax.

It didn't feel like I was forced to anything.

Have we met already ?

- Me ? - Yes, you !

- Hm... - Yes !

Your face is familiar.

- Really ? - Yes.

Have you ever been to Brussels ?

Nope.

I am from Brussels, are you from Liège ?

Seriously ?

Hang on, truth is...

...I have noticed your eyes and I find you very pretty.

I am usually not as direct but would you give me your phone number ?

Seriously ???

No, sorry.

Why not ?

Because. I have my partner here.

Oh you have someone ?

- Yes. - Her ? Or him ?

Her !

Ah okay, you like women.

Yep.

Okay, well anyway, I find you very pretty.

Did you think the way I approached you in the street

was okay ?

It is a bit too direct.

A bit too direct yeah, it is annoying ?

HA ! It's an actor, guys !!

Don't worry !

- I'd like to know. - Oh ! They are filming me !

- It needs to be less direct then ? - Yes.

Excuse me, can I just say that I like your style ?

Where did you buy your hat ?

H&M but it was a year ago.

Truth is I find you quite attractive.

I am usually not asking directly in the street but...

... can I grab your phone number ?

I am already with someone.

Excuse me, I am usually not asking but...

No no no wait

I would just like to say you have really pretty eyes.

I am usually not saying it. Are you from Liège ?

Yes.

I am usually not direct but you're pretty

and I am not often here

but if I come back to Liège,

Would you accept to see me again ?

It's not too bad but just too much.

It's stressful.

Too direct.

What should I've done to make it better ?

I don't know !

I have a partner, so i am not the best to know how it works

Okay but if you were single...

I would have maybe say yes we can meet again ?

But, it should not be that direct.

That's an interesting remark here.

Not too direct.

Yes, it makes people want to run away.

Okay

A man should talk about what ?

Not something that says : "I am single and I am looking for someone".

Otherwise you can talk about everything.

Yes it is nice to hear "You're pretty".

That happened to me before but it's always for something.

I find you very attractive...

That's nice but I have a boyfriend, he just dropped me off here.

That's intrusive.

Really, intrusive?

In a bar, yeah why not, it is better.

And now that I am saying that, I am realising that it is unfortunate !

Do you still take the compliment as a positive thing ?

Yeah... It is not necessarily something that comes across as sincere.

You think there's always something behind ?

That's for sure !!

Excuse me, I am not usually doing this but...

... I find you very pretty.

Are you happy to hear it ?

Yes it is a nice thing to hear

but it makes me quite uncomfortable.

Why is that ?

It's in front of everyone...

Are you personally open to meet people in the street if they have the right way of approaching you ?

Yeah, if it is the right way, yeah.

More like : "Excuse me, can I talk to you ?"

" Can I talk to you aside for a minute ?"

And then they can talk more relaxed.

That's it for now guys !

Hope you liked this social experiment !

I don't know if you've noticed

but women are not against the fact that men are talking to them in the street.

They mostly encourage it.

But they were mostly saying that

they don't especially like comments about their physical appearance.

And that's quite surprising and good to know.

It is better to talk about something else

like the weather or shops

or something that just happened

or bars and cafe to visit

or why not asking them if they know about WouldYouReact ?!

For us, social interactions are very important and we encourage it.

We hope there'll still be a lot of couple that randomly meet in the street...

Now a little advice for you :

If someone is talking to you in the street, in a respectful and polite way,

don't close the door too fast ! You never know ! ;)

First thing of order

Light walk in the morning

before breakfast

after that we hit the beach

On side of the road

we found some horses

Back at the beach of the hotel

you can play human chess

paddle board, canoe

sun beds & hammock

Inside the water there are some rocks

when you enter like 3m

kinda big and hard to avoid

after that the sand is fine

and the water is small far far away

You can take towels from here

and leave the dirty ones when you end the day

Today we're going to Marble Beach

This is the road to Marble Beach

Today we'll stay at Marble Beach

We first visited Porto Vathy

There are 2 beaches in here

Porto Vathy & Saliara

at Porto Vathy there are big anchores

where ships come and pick up the marble

so we're going back to Saliara

better beach bar at Porto Vathy though

but the beach is better at Saliara

Mascots of the beach

People come and feed them here

we didn't actually liked the music

Back to Porto Vathy

As you can see the beach bar is really nice

at Saliara they had aggresive trance

and I can't stay all day in that kind of music

The tables are actually from marble

After a while I went out for a walk

because I was bored

I don't like to stay in one place lately

so I came to see the marble carrier

big blocks are taken by ships

while fine marble is taken by truck

and they export everything

Done with the beach for today

Marble Beach is one of the most beautiful

beaches in Greece

but the road in here is awful

the road is not paved

However you must go and see it if you go to Thassos

at least one time

so we're going to eat at Mylos

actually we ate at Masabouka

because my girl wanted souflaki

see you later aligator

Most of the people eat souflaki here

at Masabouka

Everything you order is by portion (1 slice)

Frozen yoghurt again

We will go on the beach to stay and watch the sunset

because Golden Hour is the best time to shoot

Let me show you the hotel lobby

Internet & stuff

Take a look at this garden

I already showed the pool yesterday

We had a great time today also

Marble Beach offers a great view

tomorrow though we'll stay at the hotel

Hope you enjoyed my film

Subscribe to the channel

and let me know if you have any questions

about anything and I'll answer

aaaand I'm out!

Y: The left one! ....and the right one too!

N: Meeeee.

Yeah they kinda look like Miis (Nintendo).

We are finally gonna eat breakfast.

I'm so excited (whispers)

cuz food (whispers)

N: Baby! How is it?

Y: Good.

You like?

N: Yeah. This is my kinda style of food.

Ok, so we're going to a museum to look at an ...

exhibit?

It's not "exhibition".. it's "exhibit"..

Y: What's the difference between "exhibition"?

N: Exhibition is like.. you're going on an "exhibition"...

like a trip... kinda like a journey...

not journey, but like...

(confused) There's like a word....no~ this is wrong.

Y: Baby! Exhibition is the thing! (explaining)

N: Really?

Y: So stupid!

N: (laughs)

N: Ok, I guess I was wrong... sorry, I'm not good at English ok?

N: No! There's like... (in denial)

Y: Study some vocab.

N: No there's a word.. like exp--??

wait...exhibition... how do you spell it then?

Long story short, we're going to a museum...

..and I'm gonna study English more (laughs)

That's the lesson we got out of this.. right? (laughs)

N: There's the line~

Hi (whispers)

Y: Baby.. too close.

N: Baby.. too close (whispers)

I'm in line for this museum.. and it's gonna take 30 min.

But.. it's not bad.

Thanks for the "mic"... but it's not that bad.

I can wait... I can do it (in korean).

Hi baby!

I'm white.

And now I'm blue!

And now I'm purple.

And now I'm.... blue (again).

N: How was it?

Y: It was good.. I liked.

N It was pretty cool.

They had some nice photos,

Should I take photos too? I think I could do a good job.

But I really like photography. I used to do it when I was in high school.

I begged my mom.. because..

she really wanted me to join band in high school

but, I really wanted to do photography.

So I had to put up with band for a few days..

And then I was like, "I"m quitting this place". I don't want to go into band again.

I love music... but they force to join marching band.

And I hate marching band..

Baby! You look really cool with you sunglasses!

Cool guy! Hey, cool guy~

What about me? (in korean)

Y: Baby is cute.

.. as usual.

Thank you.. why thank you mister... why thank you sir~

Anyways, I only have 14% on my battery..

so I'm gonna save it until we do something exciting

Also, later we are gonna meet his mom, and I'm gonna have gopchang!

Byeee~

Y: Fixing makeup at Olive Young.

N: Like every other girl...

Y: There's no one though...

Y: This is the biggest Starbucks in Korea.

Ok, so it's present day Nikki.

I look really gross right now, cuz I'm editing.. but

..I just realized..

My videos.. I didn't really have an ending video to that day..

because my battery was dying.

Um, but long story short.. we

went to three rounds.

We went to gopchang first

but the gopchang restaurant was like way too busy

and everything was like sold out or they didn't put it in

Second rounds, we got pho.

And it was ok... and I didn't film much there either.

And by the end, we just got dessert all together.. we got bingsu.

And yeah.. I couldn't really film much because

I was with his mom... and I don't really wanna film

if she doesn't really want to be on camera, those kinda things

But! We had a fun day, I enjoyed the time

that's the end of my vlog, I hoped you enjoyed

And if you liked.. please give it a thumbs up!

And subscribe! If you like my videos~

then I'll try to make more~

Anyways, my bf is about to get off work soon

I'm just filming this through my iPhone

And I'm gonna go eat dinner... I'm so hungry right now.

Next video should be up pretty soon

Hope you enjoyed this one though.

Anyways, bye~

Eroi printre urși - Episodul 49 - Duration: 2:53.

Hello!

I'm Gabi

and this week

we opened the door of the den-house

where the cubs from this year

were held for more than a week.

Unfortunately one of the cubs was sick

and did not survive

but the other ones are well and lively

as you will see in he following videos.

We received two new cubs that we showed in the previous weeks

so we put all of the cubs from this year

in the den-house for ten days

until they became friends.

Unfortunately the cub found near Reghin

at the end of April

shown in episode 43

became ill all of a sudden and died of unknown causes.

Even in nature a large percentage of the cubs

die from natural causes, human intervention or are killed by larger bears.

Fortunately the other 4 cubs from this year are healthy.

They started to explore the first enclosure

and to develop their inborn abilities.

After the isolation period

a bond was made between the cubs

that will last until they leave the orphanage.

Now the cubs roam the enclosure as a group.

They feed together, play together

and when one becomes separated

the cubs call each other and are restless until they are rejoined.

these cubs are between 4 and 5 month of age

and their abilities are starting to become impressive.

They can easily become invisible in grass

or between the branches of trees

even in this small enclosure.

they sniff every smell brought by the wind

and they can quickly take to the trees

at every noise or sign of danger.

The first cub that was brought in our care this year

has been in the orphanage since march

and is much bigger than the others

thanks to a proper diet

and the wild environment.

Summer caught him a bit off guard

and is not really in shape

This can be seen by his climbing abilities

which he clearly needs to work on.

The good thing is he has time until next autumn

when he is due to be released.

The other cubs are very agile and wild

and they feel at home in the tall grass

between the fallen branches

or up in the tallest trees.

They started eating plants from the enclosure

and to dig for larvae and bugs.

The cubs here have a lot of new things to do and to discover

and when we notice that they become bored

we will move them to the next enclosure

which is much bigger and wilder.

Until then each day is an adventure

that depletes all of their energy

But what do cubs do when they are out of energy?

Well, this!

They take a nap together

and sometimes

the prefer to be cradled by the wind.

I'm Gabi

and if you like what you saw

don't forget to subscibe to our Youtube channel

like our Facebook page WWF-Romania

and if you wish to help the cubs that are in our care

you can do it by using this link.

I'll see you again next week!
