Opening our list of Top 10 Wii U Games of 2016 is Pokken Tournament!
With the growth of Nintendo, it was only a matter of time before we get to see Pokemon
fighting against each other.
Thankfully for Bandai Namco… they gave us a game where we can finally test which is
the most powerful Pokemon…
It still depends on how good you play, that is.
Pokken Tournament is a fighting-game similar to Bandai Namco's famed Tekken franchise.
It was originally released as an Arcade game in Japan, but fans are dying to play this
game on the Wii U.
The game has over 20 playable characters with over 30 non-playable support characters.
In addition to its roster, the game incorporates its Mega Evolution attacks to give players
an edge during battles.
It's praised for offering a new, more hands-on control on the actual combat; at the same
time, keeping the Pokemon spirit we love.

Ranked number 9 is Jotun: Valhalla Edition (Yo-tun)
Step into the realm of Norse mythology in this wonderful indie game crafted by a small
team of developers.
Take control of a Nordic warrior who suffered a disgraceful death.
To enter the grand hall of Valhalla, she must prove her mettle to the Gods.
Do everything in your power to help her!
The game is an isometric action-adventure that lets players face off against gigantic
Norse bosses.
Players can also use various abilities and weapons bestowed by the gods.
These power-ups help the player in her quest.
Its beautiful hand-drawn visuals and an epic soundtrack makes it one of the finest indie
games to date.
Valhalla Edition comes with upgraded visuals, high-definition upscale and a brand new Valhalla
Mode to really prove your worth to the Norse realm.

Cleverly named and directly fits the game's theme, this auto-scrolling rhythm game takes
the form of adorable tadpoles.
It aims to cater to players who enjoy colorful visuals and music.
Take control of Baton, a little tadpole as he slowly finds his way home.
Players traverse across a world painted on a music-sheet; avoid obstacles to generate
catchy beats.
The rhythm goes on in each uniquely-designed levels.
In Composition Mode, players can also create their own musically generated adventure with
the all the songs and the adventures that accompany them.
Critics praised the game for its simplicity, fun and the catchy soundtrack.
It's also very kid-friendly and children will definitely enjoy it.

Number 7 in the list is Oddworld: Abe's Odyssee - New n' Tasty.
Your favorite Mudokons return in this fun remaster of PlayStations 1997 Classic - Abe's
Odyssee.
Control Abe in an effort to save her friendly Mudokons from side-scrolling puzzle adventure
of eccentric proportions.
Save all 299 Mudokons from the farm while solving various puzzles.
Players can interact with their own kin with the game's Gamespeak.
It's a fun addition to further immerse players into the game's puzzle-focused narrative.
It also features multiple endings depending on how many Mudokons you saved.

one goal: Watch you fail.
Control your character as he finds the meteor that caused all the chaos.
Run, shoot, jump and explore in its dimension-bending atmosphere.
With over 5 boss fights to dominate, are you up for the challenge?
Super Challenge is not for the faint-of-heart.
It's brutal.
Mudd fans will find new exciting ways in this version.
But newcomer beware!
You may be better off playing the older release.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Your favorite characters from the Mario and Sonic franchise competes for the gold in Rio
de Janeiro.
A PlayScore of 7.67.
And the best Wii U Game of 2016 is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD!
Nintendo doesn't fail to amaze us with their successful Zelda remasters.
This time, Twilight Princess gets the remastered limelight.
The modern functionalities of the Wii U hardware makes the game more intuitive, simpler and
more beautiful to look at.
The game doesn't really come with big changes compare to the original.
However, it's easily considered a fantastic upgrade in the same league as Wind Waker HD.
The simplified controls and inventory system are just some of the minor improvements in
gameplay.
And it comes with Amiibo support.
Players still control the one and only Link in another adventure of a lifetime.
Anyone with the Wolf Link Amiibo can transport link to a brutal dungeon called Cave of Shadows
and a new and challenging Hero mode for experienced Zelda players.
Twilight Princess is an amazing remaster.
We can't wait for Breath of the Wild.
It has a PlayScore of 9.08 and it's Whatoplay's Best Wii U Game of 2016.
