First Impression: Maybelline The Colossal Big Shot Mascara | @girlythingsby_e - Duration: 5:44.

hey guys welcome back to my channel

impressions video for you. i'm going to

be checking out the brand new maybelline

the colossal big shot mascara to see if

it really lives up to all its claims. so

if you've been seeing this at your local

drugstore and curious about it then go

ahead and stick around.

alright so let's get disclaimers out of

the way first. i did receive the

maybelline colossal big shot mascara in

an influenster voxbox so that i could

test it out and tell you guys what I

think and that's exactly what's going to

happen today. but before we jump into

testing this out let's talk about what

this mascara claims. so the mascara came

packaged like this and it basically says

that you can expect fully loaded volume

in one coat .so you guys know that i am a

huge fan of long voluminous lashes,

because, who isn't? so if this mascara

does what it claims to do then it'll

definitely cement itself and nice secure

location in my list of favorite mascaras

Before we jump into the testing, this

mascara retails for anywhere between

$6.50 and $8.50

That's kind of the

range that I've seen it listed. Obviously

depending on where you buy it, is what

you're gonna pay. certain drug stores

just have the fancy drugstore marked up

i really don't know what to tell you but

there is about a $2 difference

depending on where you buy it. let's

go ahead and check out the brush so it

looks to be a pretty standard bristle

brush it is not too big in size and you

guys know that I don't like oversized

mascara brushes because I find them very

difficult to work with and I feel like I

make a huge mess with them so this seems

like it is you know normal-sized

about a medium-sized wand so we're off

to a good start

it's also a regular bristle brush and not

the plastic bristles. I know some

of you out there are not fans of that.

alright so let's go ahead and jump right

into if the application footage so we

can see just how well this lives up to

its claims of delivering a volume in

one coat and just kind of giving you

colossal lashes. alright so let's go

ahead and jump right in

voiceover time. I don't know about you

but I cannot apply mascara and talk at

the same time. so right off the bat I'm

noticing that the brush really does kind

of grip your lashes and separate them.

but the formula of this mascara feels a

little bit dry.

so what you're seeing here is just me

trying to get as much of the product to

transfer from the wand onto my lashes

and just keep separating those lashes

and

adding that mascara. now I have not re-dipped

the wand into the tube so this is

still the same coat of mascara and I'm

just kind of trying to spread it out so

let's speed it up because I'm just gonna

keep doing this until I get tired and

switch to the next eye.

Woooo! Moving on to the next eye. so I'm just

going to repeat the same process and you

guys will see what one coat of mascara

looks like. I mean one coat doesn't look

bad, but obviously...

alright so moving on to what i would consider coat #2

but some of you might call coat #

257, and what I'm noticing is that even

though the mascara is kind of dry the

coats build up on each other pretty

nicely

sometimes when mascaras are really wet

when you go to try to apply that second

coat it feels like the mascara wand is

just stripping the first coat off your

lashes and that's not the case here.

I just kept repeating this process until

I was satisfied with the level of volume

and length that I got so....

these were my final results what do you guys think?

alright guys so there you have it those

were my results using the Maybelline the

colossal big shot mascara. As you saw

it does deliver volume and length, it

does grip and separate my lashes.

however it does not deliver on its one

coat promise, which let's be honest I

personally cannot resist applying more

than one coat of mascara. so even if the

mascara delivered amazing volume in just

one coat

I'd still be that person that was extra

and would apply like two more coats on

top of it because I just can't resist.

the formula itself is definitely a dryer

mascara

normally i am not a fan of really dry

mascaras because they flake and end up

in my eyes. but what I did notice with

this mascara is that because it wasn't

overly wet it was a lot easier to build

up the coats.

however because it is a dryer formula i

am afraid that it's going to dry out

very quickly

so, you know, pros and cons. it's up to you.

depends on what you personally like. I

don't think it's bad, considering it's

only like $6.50 or $7 depending

on where you buy it. i don't think that,

you know, if it dries out quickly i

wouldn't be as upset as if, you know, a

$30 mascara dried out quickly.

so overall I think that this is actually

a pretty darn good mascara.

Hello. One, two, three and recording

Okay! So...

I don't why I'm so nervous for doing THIS VIDEO.

It's my first time

"I'm here at my place, comfort of my place"

Hopefully you guys can understand me.

I'm scrambling. I have a lot of ideas.

of my thoughts about life, about MY LIFE, about the reflection of everything that is going around ME.

and I'll try my best to explain all of MY THOUGHTS . I'LL DO MY BEST.

Even though I wrote THIS NOTE about two years ago that's when I started typing some of my ideas.

Jumbling, scrambling some of my ideas and let's see if it's true or not.

I call it "A theory based on ME"

So, on Saturday, about 2:45p.m. on the 23rd of August 2014 I wrote:

Everybody, all the adult people live with stress

It could be little stress, or could be big stress. There are some measures about stress, but WE WILL WITH STRESS ALL THE TIME

So, some people create and invent some stuff to deal with that.

To try to get out of stress

For example: go shopping, or go play whatever kinds of whetever games you like to play

or having relationships, and "sexual relationships" with another people, with others.

All these things could take you out from stress for an instant or could be for long periods of time.

But, the only stress, THE ONLY STRESS, that always existed between among people is

ABOUT WARS.

There always gonna be wars between people and that's the only stress

BIG STRESS, A UNIQUE STRESS that is always going TO BE

Because wars they'll always been throughout history.

It's been THEN and NOW, and THERE ALWAYS WILL BE WARS.

So, I had another thought, and I wrote it on February of 2015 and it says:

The stress is a BIG and IMPORTANT part of HUMAN BEINGS.

In relate of how they evolve.

and IT COULD TRAVEL THROUGH TIME!

And THAT STRESS keeps on growing throughout the time.

Because stress could leave you with physical, and emotional...

YOU CAN CALL THEM SCARS!

Stress makes you, impacts you in your physical and emotional, pretty much.

If you don't have it, that's pretty much like you don't have stress. BUT, YOU HAVE IT IN SOME WAY! (!?)

Stress could be form in the thoughts of people.

And stress could be, like I said, LOW STRESS and HIGH STRESS.

An example of LOW STRESS is when, for example:

A human being, in the present, RIGHT NOW, they could be thinking

"What I am going to eat today!?"

And they already know that they have some food in the fridge

but, they think IF THAT'S ENOUGH

they think: "Oh! Do I have food on my fridge!? I know I do, BUT it's better if I double check IF I HAVE ENOUGH FOR TODAY!"

"BECAUSE I REALLY DON'T KNOW IF I DID BUY ENOUGH FOOD FOR TODAY."

And that's an example of LOW STRESS!

And a HIGH STRESS is when they... An example of HIGH STRESS is:

When they THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE

About WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN ON THE FUTURE BECAUSE WE DON'T KNOW THE FUTURE! (!?)

An example is when they'll be thinking about:

"Am I going to LIVE TOMORROW!? I DON'T KNOW. I COULD BE DEAD TOMORROW!"

So, then you'll get REALLY STRESSED because YOU DON'T KNOW WHEN YOU'RE GOING TO DIE! But,

Then you'll be thinking to yourself, AM I GOING TO DIE TOMORROW!? WHEN AM I GOING TO DIE!?"

NOBODY KNOW TO THIS ANSWER. ONLY "GOD" AND "DESTINY" would MIGHT know about this FUTURE

About the answers TO THAT FUTURE.

IS IT REALLY!?

WE DON'T KNOW!

OK. Let's go for another scrambling thought that I had

My thought came on the final days of the month September 2014.

It was around the 24-30 of September.

THAT'S WHEN I WROTE IT!

So, it's about THE HUMAN RACE.

Human race is attached, and is joined, is bound to the ANIMAL KINGDOM

For example,

And the big impact about these two correlations, between human race and animal kingdom is

about THE SURVIVAL and THE REPRODUCTION!

Because both of them DO PRETTY MUCH THE SAME THING!

Because human race it's been fighting

between among each other

to survive the day and day

the daily life!

And, in order TO DO THAT, they go towards THE REPRODUCTION

in order to MAINTAIN their LEGACY!

And that's A WAY OF SURVIVING!

IN ORDER TO SURVIVE, YOU PRETTY MUCH GOTTA MAKE A LEGACY BY MAKING YOUR OWN OFFSPRING!

You can call it like that: "OFFSPRING!"

Another thought that I had was between October 2014

I don't know what the date, I didn't write it, because I just had THAT THOUGHT ON THAT YEAR IN THAT TIME!

AND I WROTE IT!

Even though it's TWO YEARS LATER THAT I DO THIS VIDEO, I GO BACK TO THIS!

I think it's kinda funny because...

When you're A CHILD you think THIS WAY!

BECAUSE YOU LIVE...

SOME THINGS WHEN YOU'RE A CHILD!

SOME THINGS WHEN YOU'RE A TEENAGER!

SOME THINGS WHEN YOU'RE AN "ADULT"

WHEN YOU'RE A "MALE"

and then, that's pretty much IT!

I GREW UP IN A DIFFERENT ONE

and I CAME BACK TO THE COUNTRY WHERE I WAS BORN!

and then, to realize...

I remember when, one time when you're in school

you're a child, HAVE FRIENDS!

I just went to one school

back in the country where I grew up. I didn't switch schools

And if I did, it would have been worse for me I guess.

Because... I DIDN'T MAKE MUCH FRIENDS!

I could even say that it's kind of scripted because

THE FRIENDS CAME TO ME!

MY FRIENDS CAME TO ME, THEY WANTED TO BE MY FRIEND!

They saw something special on me, I guess.

BECAUSE OF MY WAY OF BEING, I GUESS! BEING SO SILENT! NOT SPEAKING TOO MUCH!

AND some knew that I wasn't born in THEIR COUNTRY because I was born in THIS COUNTRY

and I GREW UP WITH THEM!

in a DIFFERENT COUNTRY!

So, maybe that's why I WAS SO SILENT, I WAS SO SHY!

THAT COULD BE ONE OF THE REASONS WHY I WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH TO MAKE SOME FRIENDS!

MAKE MY FRIENDS, by starting speaking and talking... so yeah...

THAT'S IS PRETTY MUCH WHAT I HAVE TO SHARE, I WANTED TO SHARE WITH YOU!

ALL MY THOUGHTS!

HOW IS MY VOICE!

HOW IS MY ACTIONS!

Because WE'RE ALL UNIQUE!

WE ARE ALL UNIQUE ON HOW WE SAY THINGS!

HOW IS OUR VOICE WHEN WE SAY THINGS!

ESPECIALLY, WHEN IF IT'S REALLY COMING OUT OF

FROM YOUR HEARTH!

BECAUSE IT'S GOOD TO EXPRESS!

THIS IS A SIGN!

THAT I AM ALIVE!

Some people are alive, but they think they're alive, but they don't express all of their emotions!

all of their "good feelings"

I'm gonna go to THIS POINT, where I wrote in here

about these "good feelings"

because you can consider THIS "GOOD FEELINGS," RIGHT!?

And it's very important to show these "good feelings" that you have

especially to the CLOSEST PEOPLE TO YOU!

TO THE PEOPLE THAT YOU CONSIDER THE CLOSEST!

that everything is based on your way of life! (!?)

and that all of these "good feelings" YOU SHOULDN'T BE, THAT'S WHY I SAID "YOU SHOULDN'T"

BE SHOWING IT TO THE OTHER PEOPLE!

TO PEOPLE THAT ARE not CLOSE TO YOU!

BECAUSE...

YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS, WHEN YOU SHOW ALL OF YOUR "GOOD EMOTIONS" TO PEOPLE THAT

YOU DON'T CONSIDER CLOSE TO YOU

THEY COULD COME BACK TO YOU and then

"STAB YOU!" or "STAB YOU IN THE BACK!" or

that's the expression! (!?)

So that's it's better to GO to YOUR IMMEDIATE FAMILY, THAT YOU CONSIDER YOUR IMMEDIATE FAMILY!

WHEN YOU'RE A CHILD!

ESPECIALLY!

But then when you're a teen, you can consider your immediate family maybe "your friends!"

and I'M NOT SAYING THAT IS "GOOD" OR "BAD"

TO HAVE YOUR FRIENDS AS YOUR CLOSEST FAMILY!

WHEN YOU'RE A TEEN BUT...

THEY COULD REALLY NOT BE!

"YOUR IMMEDIATE FAMILY!"

SO, IT'S BETTER TO NOT SHOW ALL OF THESE "GOOD FEELINGS"

TO RANDOM PEOPLE!

IT'S BETTER TO SHOW ALL OF THESE "GOOD FEELINGS" TO THE PEOPLE THAT YOU KNOW!

SO, THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST!

TRUTHFUL!

HARSH!

HOWEVER YOU WANNA CALL IT!

BUT TRUTH THOUGHT THAT I JUST HAD!

that I wrote at the end of my theory invented by me

about MY LIFE!

So, YOU COULD TAKE ALL OF THIS AS AN ADVICE TO YOU!

BECAUSE THIS IS A REFLECTION! A REFLECTION OF YOU WATCHING ME!

YOU COULD BE LAUGHING!

YOU COULD BE PAYING ATTENTION!

MY 2017 YOUTUBE GOALS - Duration: 5:04.

Hi everyone, it's Lukmi here and welcome to "The Lukmi Show".

In this video I'm going to tell you my goals for next year in regards to my YouTube channel.

It's nearly new year.

I hope everyone had a wonderful 2016.

2016, sorry, two thou... yeah, 2016.

I can't believe it's nearly 2017.

I hope everyone had a wonderful year

and hopefully next year is a better year for all of us.

My first YouTube goal for next year is to actually keep on going with this channel.

I actually am really bad at doing things consistently.

I have periods where I do something enthusiastically and then I give up

but with "The Lukmi Show", I've actually been posting 1 or 2 videos every week for the past few months,

and hopefully that continues on in 2017.

At the moment I am around fifty-ish subscribers and it just goes up and down.

When I think it's going up I lose subscribers and then, yeah it's like "up-down-up-down".

Gaining hope, losing hope.

But yeah I'm really happy with the subscribers that I have and I just wished that I had a little bit more.

My aim is to get 100 subscribers next year but I really would love 1,000.

That would be amazing!

Enzo, don't tip that over!

My next goal is to hopefully make some new songs.

I have periods where I make like 5 songs in a row

or work on 5 songs in a row and then for months in between I don't make anything

and hopefully I produce some more crazy songs for you to enjoy.

I really love to make songs.

I know I can't sing but it's so much fun to do and I enjoy doing it and no one's going to stop me.

Next year I hope I have a consistent backdrop instead of using the green screen.

I actually wanna have a nice backdrop so hopefully next year I do that.

One thing that I really want to do more in 2017 is to do collabs with other YouTubers and other people.

I haven't really done much of that.

I joined the Perth YouTuber group and the Australian YouTuber group.

But hopefully next year I actually have a video featuring someone else in it.

I am actually, hopefully, going to VidCon in Melbourne.

The first VidCon down under in Australia.

I'm really excited to go to that.

I'm still deciding if I should go to the Amsterdam one

(The first VidCon Europe).

But I think it's highly unlikely but who knows?

I'm really shy when it comes to filming in public.

I actually can't smile when I take selfies in public too.

But hopefully next year I also try to overcome that fear and try to vlog in public.

If you're sick and tired of the current title.

You don't have to be any longer because any video after the first of January,

there's going to be a new title.

I haven't worked on it yet but hopefully it's going to be simple and not too annoying.

My ninth YouTube goal is too hopefully upload videos on certain days,

for example Monday-Friday or Thursday-Saturday or stuff like that

but I'm really bad when it comes to uploading on days because I usually make the video on the day

that I upload it because I'm so excited to upload

and I just want to share it with everyone.

Hopefully get a new camera.

At the moment I have a Canon EOS 70D.

It's a really cool camera to have but I guess it's time to move on

and I want to get a camera that's 4K.

I know the current, the current, um, quality is pretty good now but I want something a bit better

and it's not just for YouTubing it's also for my travel.

I wanna, you know, get some good quality video shots when I'm travelling.

Those are my ten goals for next year in regards to my channel and my YouTubing.

The mannequin challenge

The first mannequin challenge video that I saw

It was a restaurant

and all the people in the restaurant

were getting given their food or whatever or they had their food sitting in front of them and they were frozen in time

I mean what evil is this? That's like putting me in Mc Donalds

Sitting me down, having whatever...20 nuggets...ohh

having 20 nuggets in front of me

and being like

go for it try to eat and I'm like...

If there's food in front of me, you better believe me it's gonna be eaten.

If you're sitting there with food in front of you and you're doing the stupid mannequin challenge either the food is shit

or you're insane

Number 5

On that Mc Donalds note, I'm not really going to name this one. We're just going to call it the Mc Chicken situation.

Some of you may not understand this, if not I highly recommend you ignore this.

Don't look it up, I wouldn't look it up.

I was on twitter that day, that video scarred me.

Basically someone ruined the Mc Chicken and I'm not going to say how or why

It was a very traumatizing day for me

But I swear to god if anyone ruins the Big Mac for me I will kill you.

Number 1: Big Mac

Number 2: Mc Chicken, now it's gone. Now it has to be nuggets.

I've always liked nuggets but the Mc Chicken was good too.
