This is perfect for Christmas.

I love to write or typing so my dream is publishing a book

The Story of Fandral Staghelm [Hearthstone Lore] - Duration: 6:23.
Hello everyone!
I've counted the votes and the card you wanted me to talk about most is
Fandral Staghelm: "Behold the rage of the Firelands."
Let's begin shall we?!
Staghelm is a night elf who has lived for a very long time and in that time…he didn't
have it easy.
He followed Malfurion Stormrage in his path of druidism, earned the title of archdruid
and was responsible for the old gods gaining access into the emerald dream which marked
the beginning of something known as the emerald nightmare.
Despite spending a lot of time in the dream, he did spend enough time with his beloved
wife to have children, yet she died giving birth to his son.
A tragic blow, but atleast the child did survive and he named him Valstann.
Valstann would eventually marry with Leyara, but during the war of the shifting sands he
lost his life.
This war was between the forces of the old god C'thun and the night elves with the
eventual aid of dragons.
General Rajax was leading C'thuns forces while Staghelm was leading the night elves
and he was doing a great job holding the line together with his son.
Rajax realized that Staghelm had one great weakness, his love for his child.
They captured Valstann and brutally executed him in front of the night elf forces.
This action shattered Staghelm, first he lost his wife, now his only son…he was devastated
and the night elf forces were forced to retreat all the way to Tanaris.
The war would end in a victory as the dragons added their might to the night elf forces,
but the blow dealt to staghelm would haunt him for the rest of his life.
After the events of warcraft 3, the battle with Archimonde atop mount hiyal, the night
elves lost their world tree Nordrassil.
This tree was planted after the war of ancients and blessed by the dragon aspects, amongst
them Nozdormu who had given the night elves immortality.
With the tree destroyed, their immortality went with it and Staghelm believed that they
should plant a new one.
Malfurion disagreed and the plans were put on hold, until their shan'do got trapped
in the emerald dream and Staghelm was able to convince the others to grow this tree anyways,
you now know it as the night elf starting area and capital city, Teldrassil.
This is also reflected in his card description which says: Always manages to mention "Back
when I was creating the World Tree…" in EVERY conversation.
Sheesh!
Enough already
This is also not the first time that he planted new world trees despite others advising him
not too and this is the reason why Fandral is responsible for the emerald nightmare.
The old gods were corrupting the land and Staghelm believed that world trees were the
answer.
At first it seemed like his plan was working, but the roots of these newly planted trees
burrowed so deep that they touched the subterranean prison of yogg-saron which allowed the old
god to use it as a doorway into the Dream, a doorway through which even the other old
gods could grasp the ethereal domain as well.
Small seeds of corruption were spread throughout ysera's realm.
In time, these seed polluted the dreamways and turned it into the Emerald Nightmare.
For the longest time this was not known the world.
There were some hints here and there, we even saw the dragons of nightmare as world bosses,
but the corruption wouldn't be tackled until the novel Stormrage set just a bit before
the cataclysm.
During classic, Staghelm offered quests where players could turn in Morrowgrain for rewards,
but unknown to all was that Staghelm was using this Morrowgrain to keep Malfurion trapped
within the dream.
For the emerald dream was taken by the nightmare and the old god N'zoth together with Xavius
had imprisoned Malfurion.
The world tree Teldrassil was corrupted and Staghelm himself was under the influence of
the old god, controlled by fake visions of his son.
So in the novel, Malfurion with the help from people like Broll bearmantle, Tyrande whisperwind,
Thura and a bunch of others, he's able to break free and confront Staghelm.
His corruption became clear for all to see and they imprisoned him, while Teldrassil
was cleansed.
It still didn't obtain a blessing from Nozdormu, so the night elves are still mortal, but at
least they weren't living on a nightmarish tree anymore.
Malfurion got married to Tyrande and together they would lead their people while Staghelm
was imprisoned.
In comes the cataclysm where Deathwing and Ragnaros team up to take over the world.
Ragnaros the firelord sends out his minions to free Staghelm, adventurers were actually
tricked into helping with this and Staghelm became his new Majordomo, empowered by Ragnaros
himself.
He in turn, recruited his daughter in law Leyara into their new faction of druids of
the flame.
The Horde had killed Leyara's daughter and she's sick of Malfurions passive stand in
regards to the Horde so she joined willingly.
With his new team of bad ass flame druids and his new title of MajorDomo, Staghelm goes
to take out the one threat to Deathwings plans.
They crashed the gathering where Thrall and friends were planning a ritual to restore
the original world tree Nordrassil.
With their magic, they split the world shaman into 4 different elements and scattered him
across the elemental plane.
Thrall's mate Aggra was not about to let her mate go like that so we went in to each
of the elemental planes, air, eart, fire, water, gathered the fragments and restored
Thrall into 1 single being.
They kinda forgot about their plans of healing Nordrassil but atleast we ended up with a
sweet wedding and as we all know by now, Majordomo Staghelm was a boss in the firelands raids
where we killed him and saved the world.
We even destroyed Ragnaros the firelord with the aid of Malfurion, Cenarius and Hamuul
Runetotem who was burned to a crip by Lyara and the druids of the flame and not even Deathwing
was safe.
Thrall was restored, teamed up with the dragon aspects and with the use of the dragon soul,
they were able to bring down Deathwing, put a stop to his and by extention N'zoth's
plans and prevent the hour of twilight from happening.
And that in a nutshell is Fandral Staghelm's story.
A man who tried to do what was best, but faced unimaginable losses which dark forces grabbed,
twisted, manipulated until only a shell of the man remained.
It does make for a pretty sweet hearthstone card as it will allow you to use both of your
choose one card effects and if you play him against Tyrande, he will say:
You would lead our people to ruin!
This goes back to the days where there was a struggle between Tyrande and Staghelm in
what direction they should lead their people.
For a time, Staghelm was actually the one horde players required to kill despite Tyrande
being the official leader, but this was later on changed.
And that's where we'll end the story for today.

Bulgogi with Bean Sprouts (불고기 + 콩나물 = 콩불) - Eating Korean Food in Seoul, Korea - Duration: 8:17.
Alright, so time for another delicious lunch in Seoul (서울).
Yeah, exactly.
So today we're going for a very classic Korean dish.
We're having Bulgogi (불고기) which literally means 'fire meat' and we've placed our order.
We've also ordered something else that is a bit of mystery and we'll show it to you
when it arrives.
So there is a lot happening at the table right now.
Our two orders have arrived.
And the first one is cooking.
We also have our little side dishes and some soup.
So if you have a look here we have Miyeok guk (미역국) which is a seaweed soup.
And they've given us a little bowl so we can just serve ourselves.
Yeah, this is one of our favorite little side soups that are often served at Korean restaurants.
And it is so healthy.
You can feel good about eating this.
it is really what is interesting to is that if I remember correctly you're supposed to
eat this on your birthday.
It is special birthday food.
Oh yeah.
To live a long life.
Maybe?

So yeah, you can see the big thick pieces of seaweed in there.
Seaweed.
Unlike some of the other seaweed products you get in Korea the seaweed here isn't salty.
It is just cooked as it is.
How is that?
It is really nice.
It is like even lighter than a miso soup.
It is super light.
Really tasty.
I like it.
Alright, so the first dish here has finished cooking.
So you can see it sizzling.
Here is the classic Bulgogi (불고기) and this is one of my favorite Korean foods.
It is just amazing and I haven't had this in a long time.
This is my first time to have it since we came back to Seoul (서울).
So if we take a look down here we'll show you some of the ingredients.
So here you can see the strips of meat and they've what really makes Pulgogi (불고기)
so delicious is that the marinade.
The marinade is just awesome.
A sweet marinade.
It is a very sweet marinade.
So it is made with soy sauce, sugar, sesame seed sauce and it also has garlic and peppers.
Pepper in it too.
It is just an amazing sauce.
That is really what makes it.
And you can also see here we have a what I think it called Kongnamnul (콩나물) which
are the bean sprouts.
The beansprouts.
Yeah.
And we also have some tteok (떡).
Some rice cakes.
Korean rice cakes.
So we've got a lot of different things going on.
And some noodles.
I saw some glass noodles in there earlier.
Right, there is also some glass noodles here.
Alright.

So you have a lot going on.
Alright, let's dish it up.

So I'm going to put in a little bit like this.
And then I'm going to grab some of the sauce because that is the best part.
Haha.

Straight from the pan so you know what I'm going to eat this properly with chopsticks.

That is the real deal.
Yeah.
That is classic Bulgogi (불고기) and it the sauce that makes it taste so good.
Mmmm.
Yeah.
Those thin slices of meat.
This restaurant specializes in Bulgogi (불고기) so they have so many different variations
and I'm really excited to try the next one.
Yeah.
Alright, so the second one that we ordered is ready.
Sam, you know the name.
What is this one called.
Yeah.
It is called Cheese Kongbul (치즈 콩불).
Alright so it is a cheese Kongbul (치즈 콩불) and we have never had this before.
This is Korean food we have yet to try.
It was amazing.
The guy came and cooked both dishes for us.
Yeah.
And then once this one was done he added cheese and all over it and it has just been melting
and getting sticky and gooey.
It kind of looks like something in between Bulgogi (불고기) and tteokbokki (떡볶이)
with cheese.
Haha.
Yeah.
Let's try it.
It has got a lot going on.
So what can we can tell from the ingredients that we have so far?
Alright, well again we have your beansprouts.
We have some onions, we have rice cakes, the beef of course the bulgogi (불고기).
Lots of cheese.
Um, and yeah I think it is going to be spicy.
I'm seeing some of the red pepper happening here.
Okay, let's try it.
You can see the cheese.
Oh my god.
Is it good?
That is really good.
Haha.
Yeah, it was one on the menu it had a little star beside it saying this is a hit.
You know one of the best things.
It is super spicy.

Do you think they use a gochujang sauce (고추장) possibly?
Red pepper paste.
Definitely.
And it is so cheesy and gooey.
I feel like I'm having Korean pizza toppings in a way.
This is amazing.

We have never had this before.
First time reaction.

I haven't even tried the other one yet but I already know this is going to be my favorite.
Even if it is making me tear up.
Like this one is really fire-y.
I know Bulgogi (불고기) meat is fire meat because you cook it over the fire but this
is like burning my whole throat.
Sam is going for the cheese and the spice.
Yeah, so I loaded up a little portion here.
So let's see how that is.

In a matter of seconds.

That is really spicy as you said.
Loved the addition of cheese.
Of course you did.
It is not like a traditional Korean ingredient but whenever you add cheese to something like
this it really does enhance it.
I like it.
I probably like the Bulgogi (불고기) a little bit more.
Really?
Yeah.
But I do like this though.
Alright, so I'm going to try more of the classic recipe right now.
The Pulgogi (불고기).
The sweet one.
My mouth is like still watering from all that spice.
I'm like salivating over here.
That second one that we ordered really was spicy.
Yeah.
We still have more to eat of it too.
Okay, going in for my first bite.
Let's get some noodles, some beef, some beansprouts.
Look at that.
It is still steaming.
Mmmm.
I'm eating my own hair.
How gross.
Mmmm.
How do you like that?
One second.
Hang on I'm choking.
Okay, so this one is definitely a lot milder.
Really sweet but after having the spicy one with cheese I don't know if I liked burned
my taste buds or what or numbed them but this one isn't as flavorful in comparison so I'm
going to have to go for the spicy one.
Spice and cheese.
That was a hit in my books.
And it is a hit on the menu so that is how you know it is good.
So I think it is fair to say that our only complaint is that the portions could be a
lot bigger.
Because we just polished that off in seconds and it was so good that now we're scrapping
the plate.
Yeah, we took care of that.
Nothing left.
We took care of that.
Although in terms of the price point they were eight thousand Won (원) each.
So sixteen thousand Won (원) in total.
Which is ₩16,000 KRW.
So you're looking at about thirteen or forteen US dollars for those dishes.
And yeah they were really tasty.
Yeah, and that also came of course with the banchan (반찬), the sides, the rice which
we kind of ignored because the beef was so tasty.
Yeah and the Miyeok guk (미역국) soup.
So yeah, there was a lot of food but we really keyed in on the principle courses.

So after the gym this morning it was about
I think it was about 29 degrees when I was driving
in this morning around 4:30 AM...at
the end of my gym sessions I always hit the Sauna
and the sauna is pretty hot, we crank it up
I stay in there about 25 minutes about 200 degrees
once I am out of the Sauna I go
hit the shower, but not a normal
person shower I would call it
actually when I tell my wife what I do
in the shower
she pretty much thinks I'm crazy...but here's my
routine I jump in and I crank it to as cold
as I possibly can crank it...it's ICE COLD
So I get out of the sauna where its of 200 degrees
then I just start hitting up this ICY WATER
on to my body, it's like caffeine to me and gets me really
pumped up to get moving with my day, gets me super
alert but as I was hitting this cold water on
my face this morning, I was just thinking of just
how painful it was for the first 10 seconds
whatever it may be...but it's just so
painful when all of a sudden you have this
cold water
covering this super hot core skin that you just sweated
out...there is a lot of pain right there that
resides...and as I was there all of a
sudden I started to just soak in and
feel just a little bit of the REMNANTS of
the hot water
that was mixed in to this cold water...although
the overall component of the water was
freezing I could just feel these little REMNANTS of
warmth and I actually soaked in that
I actually brought that in and
it actually felt really really good...but I'm
not even sure if I felt that before but
the point I'm making here is...I found that
pretty analogous with LIFE
I think as we sit here and soak in all
these things that are happening to us all
these events that were...you know defining
as endurable or not endurable, you know
that's the cold water that is just
dominating our body...it's just dropping
on to our hot skin and it's making us very
uncomfortable in the moment and a lot of
us just live in that uncomfortable reality of life and
I think if we just strip away all the
emotions all the perceptions of the
individual events
if we just strip them all out of our lives we
decide to not define something as
good or bad or as endurable
or not endurable...and maybe just maybe
we'll start to feel those little REMNANTS
of warmth...those little REMNANTS of what is
positive in our LIVES...all the many
BLESSINGS that we actually do have under
all that cold water will maybe rise to
the top...
so lets just rid our minds of that today, let's
just try to think that there is
something else other than what we have
defined in our mind as positive or
negative or endurable or not endurable
lets just think about that and let's just see
if we can start to get back to the simple
life, really appreciating the BLESSINGS and
the good things that we do have that
enriches our lives every single day, but we
don't take a moment to even recognize them
that's all I got for y'all today...but challenge
these events, challenge whether or not
they are endurable or not endurable
and choose to stop complaining about them
choose to stop dwelling in a place that
is holding you hostage from living out
your true purpose to your full potential
turn that cold shower on, metaphorically
let it burn for a minute, let it hurt, let it
bring out all those emotions that you
felt in your life because these various
events that have been just drenching you
and then just feel the REMNANTS of warmth and the BLESSINGS that
we do have, that we have been given in this LIFE
it's an amazing time of the year to just reflect
back on all of these things, and all the many
BLESSINGS that we do have
